known and a great job of course, with Leon Olsen

Backsom Oklahoma waltz from Leon Olson. On today's program, We're

(28:12):
celebrating the music of Leon Olsen The Leon Olsen Show,
as his band was referred to great great entertainers in
polka music. I always enjoyed seeing Leon live. I always
enjoyed how he interacted with his audiences. He remembered people's
names and where they were from, and as they would
go buy on the dance floor, he'd do a shout
out to each and every one of them. I was like,
how does this guy remember people's names? But he knew

(28:35):
his dancers, knew his audience very well. Last time I
got to see Leon, he was in Arizona. The Polka
of A Arizona chapter was having their big two day
music fests and he was part of it. And I'm
so glad I was able to go out there and
see the band and have a good time with Leon
in Arizona. Here's one of my favorite Leon Olson songs.

(28:56):
This song was written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon.
And first perform by the Beatles. But I've heard so
many different versions of it. Sometimes it's referred to as falling,
but the actual title is I've just seen a face
Leon Olson and the Leon Olson Show.

Speaker 12 (29:20):
I'm just seeing a face second time replace where we
just be He's just the girl for me, No, we're all,

no no no, I'm.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
Calling, Yes, I'm falling.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
And calling big ba. I've just seen a face.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
I can't forget the time of place where week just.
