Speaker 1 (00:37):
Up you go, Sauble, you might please on a sample
sup about that box as sable.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
All Right, it is Tuesday night in Tuny Town, and
that can only mean one thing. It is time for
the fastest rising pro wrestling livestream podcast on the Internet. Today,
it is time for Tuny Talk Wrestling folks. My name
is Marmon and I am the Movie Monster and I
am pleased to welcome you back to another week of
NonStop wrestling conversation. So much happened. I had a nervous
(01:48):
breakdown on Saturday because we streamed for eight hours during
All In, and honestly, it was the longest pay per
view I have ever sat through, which is legitimate because
it is I think officially now the longest wrestling pay
per view that has ever existed. Like I think it
(02:10):
is now officially declared the longest beat out WrestleMania thirty
five as being the longest pay per view ever. So
and here's the here's the funny part. It wasn't all bad.
There were matches that I actually thought were quite good,
but I mean, it was just entirely too long. And
then the press scrum was the greatest torture that I've
ever had to go through in my life. But guys,
(02:31):
we're gonna talk about it all tonight. But I can't
do it by myself. I need the best team going
in the world of pro wrestling today. So let's bring him.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Out, Big business.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Kevin Apollo is here, go all night.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
I didn't think you saw me in there.
Speaker 5 (02:58):
I did.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
I would say, now where it makes a little like
chime when somebody comes in, So now I get the
the alerts. I learned how to do that from Vash.
So Kevin Apollo, you missed the festivities on Saturday. That
that is why you're probably still sane. Oh my good,
my good. What is happening right now?
Speaker 4 (03:17):
I'm being I'm being Vash right now.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Oh, the resemblance is actually uncanny.
Speaker 6 (03:25):
What you have to do is call me good sir and.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Hello, good sir. I love that guy so much. But yeah,
you you missed it. Did you happen to watch Evolution
on Sunday?
Speaker 4 (03:37):
I watched Evolution and I didn't finish going through Goldberg.
I fell asleep, but I watched the Evolution was actually
infinitely better than I thought it was going to be
so much.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Bad, like it was the Big Shocker, Like I had
you know what, We'll get to it in a second.
We should bring out the rest of the team first,
all the wrestling is here?
Speaker 6 (04:04):
What what?
Speaker 7 (04:05):
What?
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Why am I looking at that at bald ftr's round
face right now?
Speaker 6 (04:10):
Hey man? What's going on?
Speaker 8 (04:14):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (04:14):
Not much?
Speaker 9 (04:15):
Man?
Speaker 6 (04:15):
How are you? I'm doing all right, keV. What's happening on?
Speaker 10 (04:20):
Bro?
Speaker 6 (04:21):
Man came in and did a run in without us knowing.
That's awesome. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Yeah, he popped in during the entrance, so he.
Speaker 6 (04:28):
Looks like a guy that would fire you. Isn't that something? Yeah,
come in, close the door, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, we
need to talk. He doesn't need you know what, He
doesn't need like the person you know how, like it's
hr and then it's your immediate supervisor. He's just like,
we don't need no immediate supervisor. Ain't no trouble happening
here in this office.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
I have always felt that when people get called into
his office, it's like when Earl Sinclair on Dinosaurs would
get called into mister Richfield's at the tree yard, Like
you don't if you're gonna get eaten or oh what's
gonna happen?
Speaker 6 (05:05):
Oh my god, mar you pulled out TV shows that
are like, what the hell I remember that show?
Speaker 11 (05:11):
Yeah, that's that's that's what I deep diving for. That's
what I shoot.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
This is here?
Speaker 9 (05:25):
Hello? This is that what I sound like? Yes, you
scared the.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Ship out of me just now because I thought it
happened again.
Speaker 12 (05:37):
It's all be Frank, I've been I've been making that
noise the whole time.
Speaker 9 (05:40):
I'm just trying to do.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
This has this affliction now apparently where all of a
sudden his audio cuts out and he just says like like,
and it happened before the show, and it's the reason
why we were So.
Speaker 12 (05:57):
The crazy thing is that, like I said, it's happened
on two different computers, So it's got to be my internet.
That's the only thing that that's the only through lined everything.
But I'm on starlink and I'm getting almost two hundred
megabytes per second, so it must be just something weird
about the transmission or something.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
I don't know that's weird.
Speaker 9 (06:14):
It's going on to you.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Look at you with starlink.
Speaker 9 (06:17):
I know.
Speaker 12 (06:18):
I had to dude you about it's either starlink or
I get three megabytes per second.
Speaker 9 (06:22):
Those are my off.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Yeah, I get that.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
The only reason I'm here right now.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah, well, guys, now that we are all together, we
can welcome you guys onto the show because this is
your show. This show is made for you and finance
by you. We counting a general super chests to keep
the lights on around here. We take a break to
reach your super chats in between each story or topic
that we do. But we do take breaks for super
chats of fifty dollars or more. So if you send
(06:48):
in fifty dollars or more, we stop whatever we're doing
to talk about whatever it is you want to talk about.
So let's get to it already. I see a whole
bunch of super chests have already come in. Zach Kay
for four ninety nine, says great stream Saturday. I felt
your pain during the press scrum portion. Hope you guys
got to watch Evolution or did you go to the
(07:09):
Red House.
Speaker 13 (07:09):
At the Red House Square, black people and white people buy.
Speaker 10 (07:15):
Furniture and expanding people too.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
It's a funny, funny stories, I said, as I said
on Tuny Talk TV, that's not cats were actually whe
Kevin and I met became friends at the Red House.
At the Red House, It's true. It brings people together.
So I did not watch Evolution until today, and even
then I skipped a couple of matches. But because I
was so wrestling dout by the end of Saturday Sunday,
(07:43):
I was just kind of like in a coma because
I just I'm just so aggravated after eight straight hours
of this stuff. But yeah, we did watch Evolution. We
are going to talk about it. So David Kardine's closet,
go ahead, Oh.
Speaker 9 (07:59):
The good they did you get to watch Raw? Because
that was Evolution too.
Speaker 6 (08:02):
I had heard that.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
I heard it was Evolution too, but I didn't get
to watch Raw. David Chadian's closet for five dollars Canadians
is if a Canadian tuxedo was a jean jacket and jeans,
what would you call what?
Speaker 6 (08:15):
EO?
Speaker 2 (08:15):
War on Raw? Hashtag Redhouse?
Speaker 13 (08:17):
At the Red House were black people and white people buy.
Speaker 10 (08:23):
Furniture and expanding people too?
Speaker 6 (08:28):
Is this the new thing?
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Is this like the new thing that people are going
to be asking for? Is the Red House? What did
she wear?
Speaker 6 (08:35):
What did she wear on Raw?
Speaker 4 (08:36):
Disk?
Speaker 6 (08:37):
A Canadian bikini?
Speaker 12 (08:39):
Yeah, she wore quote unquote shorts, but they were just
right up her butt, just right all the.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
Way, I was gonna call call it an Asian fetishist trap.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
There you go, oh okay, yeah, okay, and that makes sense.
So yeah, I guess that's what you would call it.
Blazing bolts for ten dollars? What's a Tonytown crew? Hope
you guys are doing well. Had a blast hanging out
with you guys for Saturday stream. Let's have another eight
hour stream tonight hashtag team Tony Town for Life. Well,
we are listening to a Tony Kahan ex live stream today,
(09:12):
so it's possible this could turn into another eight hour
stream depending on I have not watched it yet. I'm
going in blind.
Speaker 6 (09:19):
So what was that awful quick question? Anything coming out
of the scrum that you guys saw. I mean, there
was not a peep about it from what I see online.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Because it's just nonsense. He he he came out there.
Who's the first one he brought out? It wasn't hanging
in page right away?
Speaker 6 (09:37):
Was it?
Speaker 9 (09:38):
Or was it last? The first one? Okay, I don't remember.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
I don't remember who the Yeah, I don't remember who
the first one was. Oh, it might have been like
a Fena or something like that.
Speaker 6 (09:47):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
They came out. Tony Storm came out and was like,
oh I cream my panties. Oh yeah, ladies, lips taste wonderful,
ship pick shit pissed like it was.
Speaker 6 (09:58):
It was just.
Speaker 9 (09:59):
Oh she is Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Dustin came out and cried.
Speaker 6 (10:04):
He cried some more.
Speaker 9 (10:05):
Yeah, everybody cried.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
It was like Tony Storm. I think Tony Storm has
officially taken the the the role of my least favorite
wrestler on the planet with just how like because it's like,
I don't care about cursing like stuncld seve Aaston is
one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. But it's
differently well when somebody that's the thing, you know, when
someone is doing it just because they got nothing else,
(10:29):
and like there is an art form to being like
a Seinfeld style comedian who was a clean comedian who
never relied on language, never relied on like being like
like like like outrageous to get laughs, because being outrageous
is the quickest way to get laughs.
Speaker 6 (10:45):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
Where Whereas she's just screaming obscenities into the void and
you know, like I'm like it's.
Speaker 6 (10:52):
Shout out sindbad and Brian Reagan.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
Just a wild and crazy.
Speaker 12 (10:59):
Yeah, But like remember when Christian turned on Edge and
he said go f yourself. It meant something because you've
never heard Christian talk like that before, right, So it
met something. You're just like, oh man, they mean it.
And then from that point forward it was like everyone
in AW got to say the F word all the
time and they never stopped, and now it means nothing,
(11:20):
just like everything else in AW.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
Did we did we miss the spot that I saw
on X during the Mercedes Tony Storm match where they
like Tony Storm had her in a tombstone and started
to munch on a box.
Speaker 6 (11:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Yeah, Like we just weren't looking at the at the
screen during that moment, but like I was just like, wow,
Like that makes the Mickey James like like like licking
off her fingers something completely.
Speaker 6 (11:47):
What do you think they got the inspiration from?
Speaker 4 (11:49):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 12 (11:50):
But and again with Mickey James, the reason it was
shocking is because it hadn't been done.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
They do this week, so who cares? You know, it's stupid,
It's just crass blazing bolts for ten dollars. Also says
Hope one day my favorite of all time. The final
Boss of the Rock hosts a reality show with midgets. It
would beat aw in the ratings for sure. Hashtag team
bring It. I don't know if the Rock would would
ever do something like that, but you know maybe, I mean,
(12:14):
he'll pretty much do anything at this point. Well, they don't,
they don't want him. Well, you know, I saw a
trailer for that movie that he's doing where he's what's
the name of the guy that he's playing, Mark Kerr,
Mark Kerr? Uh, Yeah, I saw the trailer for that
(12:35):
and just that looks terrible.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
It really looks bad. Uh.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
You know, the Rock looks ridiculous with the hair and
it just it just looks like Rock trying to do
oscar bait.
Speaker 9 (12:46):
And it reminded me a lot of Will Smith doing Ali.
Speaker 12 (12:51):
Yeah, when Will Smith did Ali And you're just like, no,
that's just Will Smith, that's not muhammad A.
Speaker 6 (12:55):
Yeah, I never saw that movie. Does Will Smith? Mel
I think we talked about this before this, how I
care actors meld into their role over over the course
of the movie. And Will Smith doesn't do that. No.
Speaker 12 (13:07):
No, the guy who the guy who played uh who
was Howard Koffell. The Howard Koffell guy was fantastic in it. Okay,
he kind of made it.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
When you walk away from the Muhammad Ali movie and
all you remember is Howard Cosell.
Speaker 6 (13:20):
Yeah really.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Andre Adams to one the one nine nine says I
feel like all In just ended thirty minutes ago. Feels
like it. On Culture, Barbarian for five says ria EO Blew.
The entire aw went out of the water and gets
awarded four out of four glomb goals. That match was
f ing awesome.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
Oh my god, gold gold, gold, gloom.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Well we'll get into it, but we are going to
talk like about that and about the opener, because.
Speaker 9 (13:53):
Mad own that was.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
That was some excellent stuff. John Williams for four ninety
nine says from as Tony Kahn, Hey, monster, I think
you'll uh, I think your letter for your house wording
party got lost. After all, what better way to celebrate
a move than to watch time cop? Hey, if I
were to have watched if I were to host a
time cop I mean, I have a have a pretty
sweet setup for for movies. So I've got the HD
(14:19):
projector so you know, Uh, movies and gaming is fun
at my house. Regina Sharp for ten. Uh So then
I said to monkey Boy Perry who cares what mcpunk said.
If you want to use real glass, just go ahead
and use real glass. Oh, it's being drew. So then
I said to monkey boy Petty, who cares what mcpunk said?
(14:40):
If you want to use real glass, just go ahead
and use real glass.
Speaker 14 (14:45):
Gold gold, gold, gold, gold.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
There we go.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Cody w for one nine says, welcome back, keV, How
do you know it's him? It's it's wearing those glasses.
Speaker 6 (15:00):
Hit no glasses.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Brother Juan Ala Khan for five is Kevin Apolo looking
like Bob Sapp graduated college? Ashtag at the Red House
Ashtag good new to do.
Speaker 13 (15:15):
At the Red House square black people and white people buy.
Speaker 10 (15:21):
Furniture and expanding people too.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Mister Jamie jan for fortnine nine says shun we got
swollow booker t hey Jammer monster? Uh? The Andre Age
fortnite nine says keV cosplaying is Mark Henry running a
team building seminar?
Speaker 4 (15:42):
I have ah a Sean Michael's story.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
Actually, do you really tell it?
Speaker 4 (15:50):
So? Some ogis who remember the original Orange County Choppers
I have. I managed to become friends with Joe from
Orange County Choppers, who was the CEO at the time,
so he came to the He came to my show
on Saturday. We were talking and he was I guess
uh Row was in Poughkeepsie for some reason and they
(16:14):
had put in request they needed a chopper there for
for Undertaker. So he got to go to the show
and he said that He's like, it was like one
of his best nights ever. He got a kiss in
the cheek from Victoria and Trastratus, so he was flying high.
And then he got to meet Triple h like he
was in Gorilla and Hunter was going out like and
so just before his music hit, Hunter saw him and
(16:35):
he was like, oh, man, I'm a big fan of
the show. Love it. It's freaking freaking cool. I hope
you have a good time.
Speaker 15 (16:40):
Man.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
He goes out the card and goes Then Sean comes
up and Sean just ignores him. He was like, why
are you looking at me? Get away from me. Don't
belie me, Jack, but I'm dot Sean goes out. They
come back and like, so he goes to shake Sean's
(17:01):
handon Sean is just like, what the do you want
for me? And like and he just heals out of him.
The Triple triple it just like, what the eff you doing?
Why is this happening right now? What's wrong with you?
Be nice for five minutes?
Speaker 7 (17:20):
God?
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Wait, was this like Jesus ara Sean or was this like, wow,
you never heard about Jesus. I mean outside of balld FTR,
you never heard about Jesus Sean being mean to people.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
Well, Stevie Richard's got a couple of stories. Oh yeah,
he was like, yeah, just a triple h had to like,
had to like chastise him in the corner to get
it to be nice. Kind of ruined it for me.
Speaker 6 (17:49):
Forever.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Runner for one nine is it's swoll teddy long Regina
shot for five dollars is getting so many Mill Office
flashbacks from Can Office tensas all in was too long
and all over the place. Feel feel for Seth kind
of weird. But did they mention the leg before the
(18:12):
injury or was it just me glad for Roman return?
We get a match for case to write Seth out
or Seth cash is in. It depends on if he's
actually hurt, so you know, we don't really know yet.
And then Ray Ray for fives is Rea was dressed
like a cyberpunk character Eo was dressed like the best
like best genus from My hero Academia, and Naomi was
(18:32):
dressed like a stand user from JoJo's blazon bolts for
the OTC Roman Rains returned to the Red House hashtago
TC I'm not gonna play it again?
Speaker 6 (18:44):
Oh thank God.
Speaker 12 (18:45):
To clarify about Seth last night, Hayman said that, uh,
they have until July and until July.
Speaker 9 (18:52):
SE's if you know, when they find if he if.
Speaker 12 (18:54):
He is gonna be back before July, then they're not
gonna do anything with the It is July.
Speaker 9 (18:59):
Yeah, so you mean July. He has until next year,
is what he's saying.
Speaker 16 (19:04):
Year.
Speaker 12 (19:05):
We don't have to worry about the case right now.
That's what Paul Hayman gotcha. So when he comes back,
it'll be the cash in right yeah, or if he
I mean, if he's not injured. We don't know, you know,
there's a weird we'll get into that.
Speaker 9 (19:17):
We'll get to that.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Okay, all right, well gentlemen, when do you let's I mean,
let's start with evolution. I guess because man, it was Uh,
I was not expected to get to be that good.
Speaker 9 (19:30):
I don't know why.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
I wasn't expected to be that good because you know
the women menw women have proven how capable they are.
Speaker 6 (19:35):
It's just it was just really really good.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
The first match the uh Lyra and Becky and and Bailey,
who my wife refers to his bay Leaf, what was
just off the charts. I was like, wow, man, nun's
top of that tonight. And then Rhia and Neo came along,
but first that three way match, I mean that was
pretty incredible.
Speaker 6 (19:59):
Yeah, I liked it.
Speaker 9 (20:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (20:00):
Lyra is really leveling up these last few weeks. And
last night she had they had her and Bailey had
a two out of three last night too, Marv they
went it was I mean it was it was a
television two out of three match, you know, so it
can only be so good. But I enjoyed it. It
was uh it wasn't the same match, but it was good.
But anytime you get any combination of those three in
(20:21):
the ring together, you're gonna get a good match.
Speaker 9 (20:24):
It's almost I.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Love to finish when when Bailey hits the finisher and
then and then I still don't know exactly how Becky
like floated over her the way she did into that backslide.
Speaker 9 (20:36):
You forget how good Becky is. You know, that's the thing.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
I think, because she's a main eventor because she is,
you know, so well thought of in the company, you
kind of immediately think that, like, and because people have
been like, oh, Bocky too much Boocky, you forget that
she's that good. Sorry, just to cut you off.
Speaker 9 (20:53):
No, you're good. I liked them.
Speaker 12 (20:55):
On Raw last night, Becky came out wearing red and
yellow because everyone was calling her Becky Hogan, so she
just went all the way with it, said.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Screw and she dropped racial slurs. Yeah, but I mean, like,
you know who I felt really bad for that night
was Trish Stratus and tiff and Tiffy Stratton because they
had a really good match, but it was sandwich between
like two Match of the Year candidates. Yeah, so nobody
(21:23):
was talking about them.
Speaker 12 (21:24):
And then at the end of the day and uh
and Stephanie mccour backer backer becour anyway, I've heard they
pronounced it all over the place. Nikki Bella called her
Stephanie mquaw So don't I don't want to hear it.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
You're so awesome.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
I almost married John Cena.
Speaker 12 (21:51):
But I felt I felt bad for her too, because
that was a big moment for her last night, and
I think it's gonna be a big moment in the future,
but it's.
Speaker 9 (21:58):
Just overshadowed completely. I it's it's a testament.
Speaker 12 (22:02):
To how good Rha and EO though was that people
are still talking about that because usually when there's a
cash in at the end of the match, all the
attention goes to the cash in.
Speaker 9 (22:11):
Yeah, but people are still talking about how good that
match was despite the cash in.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
I feel like, if I'm Naomi and I know that
I have to cash in at the end of that match,
and I'm sitting there watching that match, I'm like dreading
the cash in at that point.
Speaker 6 (22:22):
Now you're you're loving it because now you're the icing
on the top of a I know.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
But it's just or at least just being like, oh man,
they're gonna, they're gonna.
Speaker 12 (22:35):
Her coming out last night on Fire and cutting that promo,
it was awesome.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
I am. I am all about the Naomi right now.
Like I think that she is just at the top
of her game. She's never been better.
Speaker 6 (22:50):
Who would have ever guessed that Naomi, like a funk
a dactyl from so many years ago, would be at
this level like we always saw her. She was world
champion a few times, yes, yes, store, but like this
is like on like that, like I'm a main eventor
I'm a superstar and now you're just all gonna see
(23:11):
it like she's known that level level.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (23:18):
No, she was fantastic. The promo she got last night.
She she's just like it feels like you're watching the
real Naomi. When Naomi actually gets angry, you know, she
gets she gets all into it, get into it and
stuff like that.
Speaker 9 (23:30):
It's such a better promo than what she used to do.
Speaker 12 (23:34):
How funny is it, though, that she won the WWE
World title before Mercedes.
Speaker 9 (23:39):
Bonnet won the AW World title.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Mercedes also won twelve other belts.
Speaker 12 (23:44):
I know, but she didn't win. She didn't win the
AW Titlemi. Naomi's the champion of her company before.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Well because you know, because because they had to prove
that she doesn't have creative control, because nobody in their
right mind would ever believe that that Mercedes Bonett could
ever lose a match voluntarily, this being a tribalist. Well no,
I mean, look, everybody, I think everyone kind of with
the Naioling situation, had this mentality. The same way they
(24:14):
had with Bailey. When when she got Bailey in trouble,
that Mercedes like will always have a sidekick and she
will always mean girl them, you know, Regina george them
into following whatever she says.
Speaker 12 (24:25):
Yeah, there's nothing to do with there is nothing to tribalism.
This is everything to do with how much I hate Mercedes.
The fact that the fact that the woman that she
brought down with her and almost destroyed her career in
the process of throwing her hissy fit actually succeeded despite her.
Speaker 9 (24:42):
It's it's it makes me very hiring.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
I would say, I would say both of the women
that she tried to bring down with her, being both
Bailey and Naomi at different times in their lives, have
both surpassed her by leaps and mounds.
Speaker 12 (24:56):
I don't about Bailey, I mean, yeah, yeah, in my opinion, yes,
in my opinion.
Speaker 6 (25:01):
Yeah, she's they.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Yeah, yeah, they do. They do nail me. Man, She's
she went to tna she sharpened up. She was always
gonna come back because at the end of the day,
she's part of the bloodline, like you know, she she's
part of that family. So like there was always a
way back in I think for when she wanted it.
But yeah, man, I I'm really happy for her. I
(25:29):
think that she's definitely come a long way and like
you said, from funkodactyl to world champion.
Speaker 6 (25:35):
Yes, and like a meaningful world champion, like I said
she wanted before. But you're like, she kind of got
lost in the sauce with the other superstars. Now. It's
just like they gave her pretty much damn near a
year to develop this this character. Excuse me, I'm sorry. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I'm gonna say a year because when she was in
with Bianca bell Air and Jade, she got to develop
(25:55):
her character. She got to be more extroverted like she
was she was the shore character a little bit more.
Now she's really broke through. And also kudos to j Cargill,
who's like, I'm like, this is the Jade Cargill I
knew we would see. Like I don't know what happened
in those two months that she was supposedly injured, but hoo.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
On you that you knew we would see. Weren't you
the one that was like, she's terrible, get her out
of there. No?
Speaker 6 (26:26):
No, I have been a fan of je car Gill
since day one of ae W. I've always wanted her
to succeed.
Speaker 9 (26:35):
For Jake car Gill since day one.
Speaker 6 (26:38):
Day one, we're looking at keV. What's up?
Speaker 9 (26:42):
He's eyeing Dax down.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
The digital bullshit.
Speaker 9 (26:50):
Mouth.
Speaker 6 (26:51):
Oh listen, I'm on record, keV. I am on record.
Whenever Jake car Gill was having having an issue, Oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
You've you've been the You've been the grim reaper of
her w w WE career.
Speaker 9 (27:04):
Oh yeah, because I was scared for her.
Speaker 6 (27:06):
I had been scared for I was just like when
Corey Grave said those lines like and a little twitch
them on Instagram, not at a time in the ring,
and then like a couple of weeks later like she
got supposedly work injured and all that. I was just like,
oh uh oh, I know, I know, I see, I see.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
Now. It takes longer to d program bad habits than
it does to teach you to do it right the
first time around. Like, if it takes you a month
to figure something out, it's gonna take you six months
to unlearn the dumb bastardury that that that puts you
in the spot that you're in now.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
Yeah, Like take it like a baseball metaphor. Like if
it takes if you learn how to swing a bat,
like playing in the sandlot with your friends with no coaches,
you know it's gonna take you longer to learn how
to actually bat when a coach tries to teach, then
if you just learned it from scratch, it's the city. Yeah,
I one hundred percent away agree.
Speaker 12 (28:05):
Apple always was worried that she should spend time in NXT.
That was what he was always saying when he was
complaining about Jade. But speaking of overlooking things, their match
was great yesterday.
Speaker 6 (28:17):
It was.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
It was but again it was said, and I love
the and I know we got a super chep. We
gotta get you in a second. But I love the
idea of when you have like the big hot feud
and you seemingly blow it off, but then the person
the heel that lost the match ends up winning the
world title by the end of the night. It happened
one other time, and that was Jericho and Shawn Michaels,
(28:39):
And that is one of my favorite eras in wrestling
because that was Jericho at his absolute best when he
did the Shawn Michaels, you know, throw you through the
Jeratron five thousand and injure your eye and then punch
your wife.
Speaker 6 (28:56):
The feud.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
There was a whisper punching power of Turner. But then
but then you know, they had their like blow off
the kind of match, and Jericho lost and then won
the elimination chamber later that night. I think we're placing Punk.
So it was uh yeah, it was a big but
we got a biggie super chat here from Virginia Sharp
(29:20):
for fifty dollars.
Speaker 6 (29:22):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
This is from Erica m Okay. I have a question.
Look at you, Virginia Sharp using your super chats to
help other people. That's that's awesome.
Speaker 9 (29:30):
I like you, audience.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
This is from Erica m Okay.
Speaker 6 (29:33):
I have a question.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
Could a creative control clause be written to exclude title changes?
Why was that never put in? The idea to me
is yeah, you own your character, but we own the belt. No,
not not from what I've seen, because creative control clauses
are usually put in there because the talent wants to
be able to mandate that they win a title see
Hogan Kama Hulk.
Speaker 9 (29:56):
I mean they could put it in there, but I
don't think anyone would sign it.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
What are some of the most infamous creative control clauses
in the history of wrestling, yet Hogan obviously he's the
big one, but I would I would say Kurt Angle
and TNA was definitely one because Kurt had Kurt had
the Hogan clause where it was like it wasn't just
that he had creative control over his own stuff, he
had control over the entire show because I remember hearing
(30:25):
I don't remember if it was Saban or if it
was Austin Airis, but he went up to one of
them and said that they like, they're like dirty and
so they should be doing like a pink pan gimmick
and they were like really stressing out because Kurt had
the power to make that happen. But thankfully like like
didn't actually look like didn't look forward enough, didn't remember
(30:45):
it well.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
Enough to actually do it, but said that.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
People are people are asking about Austin and WWE. Austin
never had creative control. I don't think he just was like.
Speaker 6 (30:57):
I'm doing it, so I'm going home.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
If he hain't creative, if he had creative control, he
never would have had to go home.
Speaker 12 (31:03):
Yeah, but Brett did where he had it for the
last few months in the company.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
I think the only time Vince ever gave someone creative
control was was.
Speaker 9 (31:12):
Brett that we know of.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
Yeah, well because he knew it was gonna fire him
for five minutes.
Speaker 6 (31:16):
Right.
Speaker 12 (31:18):
What Yeah, Jeff Jarrett. But Jeff Jarrett owned the company.
That's not creative control. That's just I owned the company,
right Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
Yeah, it's just so really that's like Bill Watts having
creative control.
Speaker 12 (31:30):
Yeah, it's really just uh, you know, there were a
few in TNA along the way Hogan, Like I said,
Hogan wasn't was it part of creative in DNA.
Speaker 9 (31:37):
It wasn't creative control. It's that he was helping writing
the show.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
But now Punk confirm that punkin firm that Moxley has
creative control? Right or did mox does Moxley just hold
Tony up?
Speaker 9 (31:47):
No, Moxley does. Jericho does a lot of people in
a W do?
Speaker 2 (31:50):
That's the not according not according to to Tony Kahn
and people in a W.
Speaker 9 (31:55):
No, m J upset they do.
Speaker 5 (31:57):
M J.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
Mercedes said in an one time that she has creative control.
She said it. It came out of her mouth, and
they're like, no, she doesn't.
Speaker 6 (32:06):
Yeah, they did such a walk back she lost the title.
Speaker 4 (32:11):
Well, you know what, it's the company.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
She didn't lose the title, She just didn't win a title.
Speaker 6 (32:16):
Right there you go.
Speaker 4 (32:17):
Sorry, company's not doing well. They are, you know, a
a a social media and public zeite guys slapping stock
and no one takes Tony seriously. So now we've got
to try to undo and and office scate some of
the truths that are flowing went out there, and one
of that is one of those. The most important one
is how did you not know to not give wrestlers
(32:39):
creative control after watching WCW implode.
Speaker 6 (32:43):
Mm hmmm yep.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
And so thank you Virginia Sharp and thank you Erica
m for that awesome question. I love that one because
(33:19):
it usually just means we got a lot of money.
Speaker 9 (33:21):
Uh oh.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
But another one, Virginia Shepherd other fifty dollars. As a point, Marvin,
a lot of things come out of Mercedes' mouth. She
is on record as a spinner.
Speaker 9 (33:31):
Oh oh my.
Speaker 4 (33:33):
Goodness, what is she talking about?
Speaker 6 (33:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (33:36):
Wow, you you are. That is a Tony Storm level
outrageousness there, Regina.
Speaker 6 (33:42):
I think she's talking about rap lyrics. No, oh, okay,
great she spits on the mic.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
Yeah, No, that's exactly it.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
That's what it is. Right.
Speaker 6 (33:53):
Well, they call a microphone, Well we can't sell.
Speaker 12 (33:57):
I just thought I just thought she liked talking loogi's
that's what I thought.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
Yeah, of course that that's what.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
Yeah. Oh, there you go.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
Study.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
I'm gonna need to have that one ready. I need
to have that one ready for when we're playing the
Tony con clip later.
Speaker 9 (34:23):
It's like my dad driving.
Speaker 12 (34:25):
Do you guys have that when you were driving around
with like like your dad or something, and they would
have the biggest loogies they'd spit out the window you
were driving and it never got in the car and
it was always right never, you know, never spy. I
tried to do that as adult. It gets all over
the side of my window and I've seen it later. Yeah,
right back in your face.
Speaker 9 (34:44):
I was.
Speaker 2 (34:45):
We took a school trip to New York City when
I was in like like middle school, and we went
to the top of the Empire State Building and one
one guy in my class tried to spit off the
Empire State Building and they warned, you don't do that, like,
don't spit, don't throw any thing off like, you know,
because you could kill you know, throw something off and
will kill somebody. But the he spit off the Empire
(35:09):
State Building and the spit literally turned around and flew
back and hit him in the face. It was like
the it was like the most amazing KRMA I've ever
seen in my life. Yeah, don't spin off the Empire
State Building, dude. Ah, alrighty, this is like you know
(35:29):
that thing where like you're gonna spit and Erica it's like,
oh no, yeah.
Speaker 9 (35:39):
I was.
Speaker 6 (35:39):
I wasn't gonna be the one.
Speaker 12 (35:40):
To say, you know, but Apollo knew what I was
talking about.
Speaker 9 (35:44):
Okay, key, Yeah, maybe it's maybe other people's dead. I
didn't smoke. Maybe that's part of m huh.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
So there was regarding evolution, there was a question about
doing it again, and so Tripp said he sees the
demand for a yearly Evolution event, but says that as
the demand for women grows across the board, they shouldn't
need their own show to get the spotlight. Gives a
we shall see now. I agree with that.
Speaker 6 (36:13):
I'm so glad, he said.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Yeah, I don't think there's a need for an all
women's show. I think that the women have proven that
they can hang just as much as the men, and
I don't think you need an all women's show, just
like you didn't need an all men's show. I you know,
I think that it's just they're all on the show.
They're all part of the roster, and I think that
(36:36):
I think you have to I think you have to
basically earn your spot now. And you know, if something
like Ria and EO is a better match than you know,
l A. Knight and somebody, then they should be on
the show over them.
Speaker 12 (36:51):
There are a lot of people complaining about how the
first hour and a half of RA all or so
We're All women last night, and.
Speaker 17 (36:58):
I gotta tell you, pigs, I I didn't notice it
until I went on the internet and everyone told me
that the first hour and a half of ROLL was
on women.
Speaker 9 (37:09):
Like it was.
Speaker 12 (37:11):
It was a good, flowing show, the matches were good.
So I just didn't notice it. And I think that's
the way it should be, is that if the show's good,
if the people are good enough to be there, then
it shouldn't be something that, you know, they didn't call
it out.
Speaker 9 (37:23):
They didn't say like the.
Speaker 12 (37:24):
First hour and a half of the show will be
all it's just every magic except the main event. Was women,
and you know I did. I thought it was just fine.
I didn't notice it at all until the show was
over and somebody screamed it at me.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
So I just don't think that women need their own show.
It's just how many, how many more shows do we need?
Speaker 4 (37:43):
Like, at the end of the day, I kind of
disagree because this isn't a knock on the new regime,
the New era, but they have done a shit job
of getting people on TV. They do. It's like brand
new shady toy. I'm gonna tell a story. No no, no, no,
(38:07):
no no, I'm done, and then they go away. Now
certainly make it way more use and more qualities than
they get over in the you know, in the Shindy,
the billion dollar Shindy. But like, they are not doing
a good job with leveraging all of their talent and
a lot of the ninety percent of the women on
(38:27):
that roster are woefully underused. It's they're actually stealing life
from people.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
Well, it's actually gonna get and that's only gonna get worse,
I think, keV, because you have all these NXT ladies
who are about to get called up exactly and.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
Yeah, I'm saying you know you're one hundred percent correct,
because there's a massive logjam because there's a lot of
girls who should have been called up by now. So
it's they they, he's gotta he's got to figure out
how you want, how to make these sure that's move
a little bit faster, how to get people on and
it maybe it's I say this because when you go
back to find the roster wasn't as big, but the
roster was still massive. If you just go back to
(39:05):
ninety seven to what two thousand, they had a lot
of people on that show and everybody got on it
and it was only two hours and fifteen minutes and
you felt exhausted because they got a lot in. But
you pretty much shut everybody in the roster every week
if they weren't injured. And we can only get like
twenty percent of the roster over the course of over
(39:26):
the course of fucking six hours TV. That that's not good.
Speaker 9 (39:30):
Out to four now to be oh no youah, next,
next aa okay next.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
So do you do you, then, Kep, think that the
answer is to having have more old women shows? Or
do you think that the answer is just to use
your time better or maybe make cuts to your roster,
you know, in I.
Speaker 4 (39:49):
Think they need not so much an all women's pay
per view. I do think they need an old woman's show.
There's there is a space for it. While you know,
Dave McLain has proved that people will watch a men's
wrestling program. He's been he's been milking the concept, you know,
since the early eighties, and we got a Netflix show
out of it that he had nothing to do with. Somehow,
the people will watch it, especially if it's a w
(40:11):
B program. The I don't you don't need all women
shows like pay per views, but I think you had
an all one show, it would help get the girls
who don't get time the reps. They need to develop
their characters and have better matches. But yes, you first
of all, you need to fire some writers because the
creative is more to blame for wrestlers like getting used
(40:31):
in the wrestlers. The roster is entirely too bloated, and
and that that's top to bottom, like up to and
including what they're doing in the indies to try to
save it. But it's entirely too bloaded. So you gotta
let some people go. What was the other thing you said,
Because it's kind of an all of the answer.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
Or or do you need to release people from the roster.
Speaker 4 (40:51):
Yeah, hey, you gotta release people. You gotta you gotta
get you gotta make these writers a little bit scared.
You gotta look, you gotta use the time you have
a little bit better. They just got to finally get
to the point a whole lot faster and a lot
better than what they have been doing. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
I mean, look, the roster is immense at this point.
There's a lot of roster bloating both companies, I think.
But you know, once you start saying that, people get
touchy about you know.
Speaker 4 (41:14):
Oh, you want people to lose their jobs.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
It's like no, it's just the reality's of business man
like you know, you know, you're not entitled to just
sit around and collect a paycheck when you're not doing anything.
Speaker 12 (41:24):
I think the biggest argument for the idea of women
having their own show is that I think that there
is a split in the audience too. I think there
if you looked at that evolution crowd, and he looked
at the people who were heavily invested in evolution online,
a lot of them are not the same people who
are invested in what the average wrestling fan talks about
they they're by creating its own brand and making its
(41:47):
own show, they might actually be able to attract people
who wouldn't normally watch because they they're they're interested specifically
because they're women, and the crowd might be a crowd
that will annoy you. You marv to be honest, but oh.
Speaker 6 (42:03):
I'm I saw.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
I saw the the intro video to Evolution, and I
was like, they're they're trying to appeal to a crowd
that will annoy me.
Speaker 12 (42:12):
Yeah, and say what you will about about how they
get in the tractice. They didn't get as big as
as many people in the crowd as they did for
a Saturday night's main event, But seven thousand people is
nothing to sneeze at either, you know, no, but it's
just for a niche show, Yeah, exactly, with only two
weeks of film.
Speaker 6 (42:30):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (42:31):
Well. And that's the thing though, with these all women
shows up till now, like they've happened and they just
kind of haven't had that much of a of an impact.
But this time it was a really solid show, So
I think that's kind of why people are talking about
it now. But let's get to a couple of super
chats and then talk about another really really long show.
Speaker 6 (42:53):
John Williams of one and I says.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
That's not Teddy long Arm Booker t that's Tony Atlass
Oh oh BT twenty three for five dollars says wonder
if TK would try to get Jean Claude Van Dam,
the Star of Time cop to go to an aw
event like when John Claude Van Dam did when you
with Universal Souldier two. I could see it. I mean,
(43:17):
I'm sure he would h he would fall over, he'd
be so excited for GHR for five says just says,
we'll get into that show never comes up again. I know,
I know, still early we got into it or whatever
it was that weird Christopher Miller for ten dollars is
the IWC told me all In was the goat pay
per view ever, ninety nine stars, it changed all of
(43:40):
wrestling forever and soy boy, greatest hero ever. Why are
you lie to me, Marv this monk, why do you lie?
Bad awful there go Yeah, the I mean I think
Brian Zaane of Wrestling Regret made it the first ever
like a plus pay per view grade, which I'm just
like si harder for the man that fired you. Why
(44:00):
don't you like?
Speaker 6 (44:03):
But I mean, like, look, and here's the thing.
Speaker 2 (44:05):
Of the AEW pay per views that we have watched,
it was the best one. There were moments where I
actually was like, hey, that was that was good. I
enjoyed that. I was entertained by that. It was just
too god awfully long.
Speaker 6 (44:22):
Yes, bit of advice for those who did watch All
In and hated it, watch it again, but this time
just watch the matches. You can fast forward, rewind, whatever
you want to do, but watch them in. It's in
different segments because when you watch the show, and I
(44:42):
was telling mar of this before the show, when you
watch the show live, yeah, it's a sludge to get through.
But I actually saw some of the match, like specifically
the Mercedes Monette Tony Storm match. I was impressed, gentlemen.
I like the match when it wasn't involved with everything
else in the show. Same thing with Moxley and Hangman
(45:05):
like Hangman no, no, but I saw that a lot
of people were into that match. When you guys are
watching it live. When I was watching it, I had
it on mute. I was doing other things, so I
couldn't really gauge the crowd. But when I watched it again,
the crowd is extremely into both matches, the Tony Storm
(45:26):
match and the Moxley match. Despite all the nonsense that
was going on in it, I can kind of see
where Tony Kahan is just like, if it works for them,
we're just gonna keep on going with it. It's a
dumb business move to make, but it seems to be
working at least for all in sake. I mean, it
(45:47):
wasn't a bad show when you watch it again and you,
you know, don't put it all together, don't watch it
all together because you'll be there all day, But just
watch a match or two throughout the course of the
day and you'll see, like how much different it is
as far as like in context to the to the
bigger show.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
If you are I guess so, Like let's say you're
in norm me right, and you're deciding to get into wrestling.
Speaker 6 (46:12):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
Is this a show like doesn't have repay replay?
Speaker 6 (46:17):
No, No, great question.
Speaker 4 (46:19):
I watched again and it's like, now it's just you
had to experience it live and move on with your life.
Speaker 6 (46:24):
Yeah. And because I don't have a great investment in
any of the characters on a w so I would
I personally wouldn't rewatch it. I can't imagine who would
want to rewatch the main event. That was the one
sticking point like to the whole It's just like, what
what what what DVD do you put this on?
Speaker 4 (46:43):
What?
Speaker 6 (46:43):
What streaming service do you put this match on? As
a standalone?
Speaker 2 (46:47):
It made Cody and Roman look under booked. Yeah, yeah
with all the run ins, I mean when do we
count ten run ins, one of which the return of
of Brian Danielson that no one remembers happened.
Speaker 6 (47:06):
Yeah, right right, listen, all in got stomped out over
the weekend. As far as like reach and visibility, I mean,
w surrounded the wagons with their free pay per views.
Speaker 2 (47:21):
And they're gonna know one's all in. Yeah, between between
n XT and UH Evolve and in Triple A, I
think they're gonna count a program every aw pay per view.
Speaker 6 (47:36):
Yeah, it might be that season.
Speaker 2 (47:38):
And yeah, Regina Sharp for five because you know Naomi
cashing in in retrospect explains why they seem to be
so careful and slow for her No holds barred match
with Jade. Yeah, like they didn't like you know, put
her in the car wreck so that we believable that
she can come out later.
Speaker 6 (47:54):
Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 2 (47:54):
So I will say, guys, you know we talk about
like they're trying to advertise every square inch of space.
Speaker 6 (48:02):
The moment where I was.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
Like, Okay, we've gone too far was where they pulled
the tables out for the table spots and they had
some slim gym.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (48:09):
They've been doing that for two months, mar that was
the first time I noticed it, and I was just like,
my god.
Speaker 9 (48:15):
When they were in uh, where'd they go last overseas?
Where was the last place they went? Whenever? Oh, Saudi Arabia.
Speaker 12 (48:20):
When they were in Saudi Arabia, Ria even said like,
I'm gonna put you through one of the slim gym table.
Speaker 5 (48:26):
Jesus.
Speaker 6 (48:27):
Yeah no, right, because we didn't.
Speaker 2 (48:29):
We didn't go live during that one, right right.
Speaker 4 (48:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (48:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
That was when I was moving or something. It was
with something.
Speaker 6 (48:34):
It was I think I was moving.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
CWJ one two dousands. Is WWE better off that Monette
did not resign?
Speaker 6 (48:42):
Yes, yeah, yeah, she belongs in AW.
Speaker 2 (48:49):
She doesn't belong in w She would be miserable in
WWE because there's so much competition there right now, and
she wouldn't be the main, you know, the main thing
doing whatever she wants to do. Forever Runner for one
ninety nine says, don't dare disrespect our storm goddess, dis
I did.
Speaker 9 (49:05):
Fat any think about this?
Speaker 2 (49:07):
Your reign of hatred over Jane Cargill has come to
an end. People are tired of it.
Speaker 9 (49:15):
By the way, mister negativity, we.
Speaker 6 (49:19):
Get it, we get it.
Speaker 2 (49:21):
Don't like strong black women.
Speaker 4 (49:22):
We understand her most resource.
Speaker 2 (49:31):
I love what you call him. Wolf Child for nine
ninety nine says love the Sickos, saying, yeah, evolution was good,
but it didn't take the focus from all in while
I'm saying, and what are people talking about?
Speaker 6 (49:43):
Monday?
Speaker 2 (49:43):
Tuesday exactly? Welcome back Marv and keV. Hello wolf Child,
but good to see you. John Williams for four ninety
nine says I never used it russo in the court
lion bro Oh, I never used it russo in the
quarter lion brother, and he says female China more than
editor's spot. And mister Jamie Jamber one ninety nine says,
(50:06):
Zay's a bigger soy boy than the soy boy cowboy
I've never met.
Speaker 6 (50:10):
Brian Zaane.
Speaker 2 (50:10):
He might be a lovely human being. I've just I've
seen him turn on all of his people. Uh the
second that what that somebody gets like, you know, potential
canceled or something like that. I don't know, man, I
just I used to enjoy his channel and then it
just was it started being just non stop ae W glombing.
So yeah, after that, I mean, good, good for him.
He's got his audience and he makes a living. So
(50:33):
you know, God forbid anyone not make a living.
Speaker 4 (50:35):
So you know, people like it.
Speaker 6 (50:37):
That's great.
Speaker 4 (50:38):
Not for me shut out, I guess.
Speaker 2 (50:44):
But right, Okay, So yeah, I mean, is there anything
more you think we can? I think we just kind
of touched on in right, like we don't really have
to go too deep into.
Speaker 6 (50:56):
It, right, can I say?
Speaker 2 (50:59):
They did the That's what I meant to see.
Speaker 6 (51:01):
They did the They did the one thing that it's
taken them forever to do, and that's progressed the storylines. Listen.
I was shocked when Monet lost shocked, I tell you.
I was also shocked when the Hangman Adam page one.
So they are trying to do some things that are new,
I guess. So I'm not saying I'm willing to give
(51:25):
it a shot, but it's it was a move all in,
despite its low visibility right now, did what it was
supposed to do, and that was progressed some storylines. It
got the EVPs, excuse me, got the the young books,
you know, losing their EVP status, you know, for all
the for all the knuckleheads online. That's a that's a
(51:47):
plus for them. So you know, we'll see what happens
this Wednesday. I don't I don't anticipate. Now, listen, if
they get eight hundred nine hundred thousand this week, which
I doubt, you know, you know, we'll see, We'll see.
But it was the right move.
Speaker 2 (52:02):
Double A for fifty dollars check it in. Thank you
so much, double A, says aw all in at HLA
blood fork stabbing, barbed wire, no cells, more blood, nail
covered boards. But the only person that has people talking
about them is one Nick Lapiccolo.
Speaker 9 (52:19):
Yep, we'll get into that is true.
Speaker 2 (52:21):
We will get into that. So those are you asking
who Nick Lapiccolo is? We will discuss a little later on.
But uh, okay, So speaking of like hate and internet hate,
this is an interesting thing. So this is a list
of the most hated wrestlers in the world, and is Yeah,
so from a sample size of thirty five thousand social
(52:45):
media posts for each of them, it takes the percentage
of negative mentions and makes this list to rate them
from one to guess, I guess fifteen. There's a three
way tie for number fifteen, right.
Speaker 12 (53:03):
The big the big headline was that this was supposed
to show the amount of abuse and harassment athletes received.
Speaker 9 (53:09):
That was the whole article.
Speaker 12 (53:10):
But then if you read their methodology, they just said
if the comment was negative, So any negative comment they
perceive as abuse and harassment.
Speaker 9 (53:22):
And Charlotte Flair right there, number one, Lett.
Speaker 2 (53:25):
Flair at thirty six point four percent of you know,
that's all awful.
Speaker 12 (53:29):
You know most of that is yes, you're right, she
was awful. Did you watch who watched Mackdown? I know
nobody watched SmackDown? Did anybody watch back?
Speaker 9 (53:39):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (53:40):
I was really irritated by the outcome of a certain match.
Speaker 9 (53:43):
Okay.
Speaker 12 (53:44):
Did you see the goofy Charlotte Alexis segment where Charlotte
Charlotte did Yeah, yeah, I'm always for myself, Like it's.
Speaker 15 (53:57):
True, she's trying very, very hard, like you can tell
she did not like that she did not get cheered
when she came back because she is ultra babyface now
she is doing everything she can to get it and.
Speaker 4 (54:16):
Watched her return something awful.
Speaker 12 (54:20):
I don't she should She should have come back as
a face in the first place, or as a heel
in the first place.
Speaker 9 (54:25):
People were not gonna cheer Charlotte player when she came back.
Speaker 4 (54:27):
What I'm saying like they wanted her to come back
as babyface and they botched it. They didn't do anything
that would have made her baby face, But.
Speaker 9 (54:33):
I don't know that they did. This thing is like
I think Charlotte wanted to come back because.
Speaker 12 (54:38):
Now you have you have you have you been following
this stuff about Charlotte since then where she keeps going
in every interview talking about how it hurt her feelings
that she was booed. How she is going around saying
that she like the whole thing about her wanting respect
is real. She thinks that she's good enough that she
should just get the fans to cheer for her because
she's there. Like, I think there's it's it doesn't seem
(54:58):
like Charlotte was gonna come back.
Speaker 9 (55:00):
I can work as a heel regardless.
Speaker 12 (55:01):
You know, maybe I'm wrong, but I to me, it
didn't seem like Charlotte was too into the idea of
being a heel, and it was more of a Okay, fine,
we'll make you a face. Let's see what happens, because
they knew she was gonna get booed. And it's not
and Charlotte is just a better heel. It's not. It's
not so much that she's a terrible face. It's just
(55:22):
people do want to see her. They want to see
her as a heel. They don't want to see her
as a face.
Speaker 6 (55:27):
In my could they couldn't? They have also brought Charlotte
back because if I remember correctly, when she was doing
this supposed face turn, she walked down to the ring
cut of promo, why didn't she save somebody? Like why
didn't she come back and like, you know, do a
heroic thing before talking about, you know, trying to be
(55:48):
a hero.
Speaker 12 (55:49):
The vignettes were making her look like a heel, like
her return vignettes.
Speaker 4 (55:53):
So she went out super injured, almost career career ending.
And yeah, we learned the lesson almost twenty years earlier
with Triple H. You got to show them struggling to
work out. You have to show the pictures of the surgery.
You have them, you know, kind of water and if
they'll ever be the same again, so that you kind
of have a little bit babyfaces need sympathy. She came
(56:16):
back the least sympathetic person on the planet, talking about
being rich, talking about enjoying being a nepo baby like.
People don't want to hear that crap, right, That's.
Speaker 9 (56:27):
The one I was looking for.
Speaker 12 (56:28):
Since we were saying it and he said it too,
I wanted to post up the that Tyler Goldanowski said.
They had vignettes that said she was a heeled but
she was expecting a Triple Ah return in two thousand
and two, and I.
Speaker 9 (56:37):
Think that might have been a part of it. I don't,
I don't know. It's it's weird, we don't. It just
didn't hit. It just didn't hit like it was supposed
to be.
Speaker 12 (56:44):
Whether regardless of whose fault it was, it could have
been Triple Ah, it could have been her, it could
have been Tiffany.
Speaker 9 (56:49):
For all we know, maybe Tiffy wasn't working it the
right way. You know.
Speaker 4 (56:52):
There was some politics involved in that one too, though,
because she did feel like she had been labeled the
Vince girl, even though Hunter brought her in and she
was being forced out the pasture, which in hindsight, I
don't disagree. It kind of does look like she was
taking down a penny. But at the same time, you know,
(57:13):
you don't even realize it, but those girls have all
been around for ten years. Usually the ten year mark
is when it's time to start making some thing for
from other people.
Speaker 6 (57:26):
Yeah, one hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (57:27):
Yeah, it's interesting, but I mean, look right below her,
Naya Jack's number two, number three, Mercedes Monet number four,
Soriah number five, Teagan knocks, who knocks?
Speaker 6 (57:39):
Like, come on now, what I don't know?
Speaker 9 (57:42):
Soria is still getting the okay, it's those.
Speaker 12 (57:45):
Are the weirdo uh diva fans who still get on
Soriah about the video or the one. They don't like
Tea and Knox because she doesn't interact with her fans
like they want. You know, it's the it's the women
wrestling fans that are like to the simps or whatever
you want to call them, the one into it, you know.
Speaker 6 (58:05):
Mm hmm. They're mad because they don't they don't love
you back.
Speaker 9 (58:08):
Right, exactly.
Speaker 12 (58:09):
Yeah, that's why most of these are women, because I
will stand by the fact that every most wrestling fans
that I know don't hound women and talk about them
negatively online, like we don't like Mercedes, but we also
don't like John Moxley, and we also you know, it's
it's like a group of them that are just focused
on the women.
Speaker 9 (58:27):
And that's why I.
Speaker 12 (58:27):
Said it almost be better if they got their own show,
and that way it would just be separate.
Speaker 9 (58:32):
We wouldn't have to deal with them anymore.
Speaker 2 (58:35):
Number six is CM Punk, so yeah. Number seven Chris Jericho,
number eight, Kara Jade, number nine, the Young Bucks. I'm
honestly shocked they're that low. But then again, maybe it's
that people aren't tweeting about them as much. Number ten
Jade Cargill, number eleven, John Moxley, number twelve, Alexa Bliss, thirteen,
(59:00):
Britt Baker, fourteen, Will Osprey, and a three way tie
at fifteen for Rickashet, Natalia and Nikki Bella who's negatively
about Natalia? Who's tweeting about Natalia at all?
Speaker 12 (59:15):
It's the same people. It's we never see it because
they're not in our algorithm. Because it's a whole different world.
Speaker 2 (59:20):
Mark Hegan Knox is more hated than Chris Jericho, than
the Young Bucks and John Moxley, Okay, Ricket.
Speaker 12 (59:30):
To be fair, though, Young Bucks and Chris Jericho weren't
on TV for a good portion of this time, so
it's also just people not talking about them at all.
Speaker 6 (59:38):
You know how we're given this damn stupid sample size,
some legs and validity out here.
Speaker 9 (59:44):
No, that's what my whole point of bringing up was
to make fun of it.
Speaker 12 (59:47):
It is ridiculous the fact that they're either the fact
that they're saying, like Nia Jacks, she gets healed heat.
So of course people are gonna talk negative. If you're
a heel, you should be mad that you're not on
this list because you should people to be talking negative
about you online.
Speaker 6 (01:00:02):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Regina Sharp for fifty dollars says, if what disc said
about the methodology is correct, things like I hate her
matches would be considered negative. So it's not all just
like abuse. It's not all just like telling them to,
you know, go do horrible things. A lot of it
could just be like, yeah, I didn't.
Speaker 12 (01:00:21):
Like that match, right, It's just they sold it as
an abuse and harassment list and insane that they're calling it.
Speaker 9 (01:00:28):
That because do you think the Bucks get abused in harassed?
Mark m I don't know. Maybe what do you consider
abuse and harassment?
Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
Then?
Speaker 5 (01:00:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
People say really dumb things to people. I mean, look
at what we get abused in harassed, and you know
we you know, don't get at one hundredth of what these.
Speaker 6 (01:00:52):
Guys right now, we're national television, right exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:00:56):
We are pretty big in Japan, yes, wa to our
Japanese listeners. But yeah, all right, I just thought that
would be fun to go through and or just thought
it would be That's why he pulled it. So, uh,
(01:01:17):
let's see, hold on, do we have any other super
chats come that have come in? Let's see we got
to this mister Jamie jam one right about Zaye So yeah,
one KQ for five New Zealand dollars says, have not
been watching much lately, but good to see keV back.
Speaker 6 (01:01:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
I remember when that Brian Zaane guy was pretending to
be Jim Cornett's son. Well, yeah, Jim Cornett played into
it too.
Speaker 6 (01:01:45):
That was like a thing because he.
Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
Looks enough like Jim Cornette and so like Cornett to
call him his son a real creeped out Yeah no,
like because he was a manager, he kind of looked
like Jim Cornett, and so Cornett played into it because
you know, he was a big YouTube at time. And
then Zaye started like simping for the AW stuff and
like not just look, it wasn't just that he was
(01:02:06):
like glorifying it. It was that he was pushing back
on anyone who said anything negative about it. One of
those was Jim Cornett, and he went at Cornett about
something he said about AW and then Cornett blocked him,
and then Zaane lost his damn mind and made a
ten minute video about the fact that Jim Cornett blocked him.
Hey I remember this, Yeah yeah, okay, yeah, BT twenty
(01:02:32):
three for two dollars says, wonder what forbidden door Tony
Kahan is going to open? I mean usually it's Japan, right.
Speaker 9 (01:02:41):
Well, he he had the first year.
Speaker 12 (01:02:43):
Okay, so the first year was near Japan, and then
they did Triple A and then they did CMLL. But
they're out, so I don't know. I guess now it's
just gonna be all of them. I guess they're going
to They're going to England. So I bet they'll use
like Rev Pro guys and stuff like that. I bet
that's the quote unquote Goodden Door.
Speaker 2 (01:03:02):
That'll be great.
Speaker 6 (01:03:03):
Those worldwide superstars get out of here.
Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
But in the UK it's actually called the frowned upon Entryway.
But all right, So Goldberg had his big last match,
and I honestly I think that people don't give Gunther
nearly enough credit because he carried that guy to the
(01:03:27):
oh and and grega for two two by the way
he says, ola amigos.
Speaker 18 (01:03:32):
Ola and then so so Gunther carried Bill Goldberg to
the best match that he has had since Diamond Dallas
Page at Halloween Havoc nineteen ninety eight.
Speaker 9 (01:03:44):
Yep, I agree.
Speaker 6 (01:03:47):
It was.
Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
It was just really good. It was a good match.
It went for a long period of time and I
was like, wow, I mean, look, the if you guys
listen to the live stream, you know that the biggest
markout of the night that I had, of all eight
hours of the stream, had nothing to do with the wrestler.
It was when Doug Dillinger popped up on this on
(01:04:10):
the TV. Oh god, and then and then when I
said it's Doug Dillinger has got to be the one
to knock on Goldberg's door for his last match, and
it was I marked out again. But so he was
walked to the ring by Doug Dillinger, his son the Cat,
and like three dudes who I had no idea who
(01:04:32):
they were, keV, did you know who they were?
Speaker 4 (01:04:38):
Watched like two days ago?
Speaker 6 (01:04:40):
Uh?
Speaker 12 (01:04:40):
Burnett, the the m m A guy Burnett. What's the name, Kevin?
Do you know something Burnett? Mark Burnett or No, he's
the he's the smiler guy, one of the there's a
there's Josh Barnett.
Speaker 9 (01:04:52):
Yeah, he was the Ya, that's Jim Barnett.
Speaker 4 (01:04:59):
And that's a that's a whole home, a different.
Speaker 6 (01:05:01):
Color, several colors by the colors of the rainbow.
Speaker 4 (01:05:11):
How about a shoulder up there, big guy?
Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
But uh yes, but Doug Doug Dilloner being there.
Speaker 4 (01:05:20):
Was was huge.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
So all in all it went very very well. Uh
no one could possibly be upset about it?
Speaker 9 (01:05:28):
Right?
Speaker 6 (01:05:29):
Well, Goldberg is.
Speaker 19 (01:05:32):
Can I ask and and perhaps shoot straight with you?
Speaker 4 (01:05:35):
Uh?
Speaker 9 (01:05:35):
Bill?
Speaker 19 (01:05:35):
It feels like you're you're you're battling like mixed emotions
here about everything that it's it's something that you're not
quite sure how to feel about in the immediate aftermath?
Speaker 20 (01:05:46):
Is that is that accurate?
Speaker 5 (01:05:47):
Let's just say I'm pissed off it the way I
went out.
Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
You know, you are lucky that you got this match.
Speaker 4 (01:05:55):
Jesus understand what he's saying. He's not, he doesn't mean
it like that.
Speaker 6 (01:06:00):
All right, how's it okay? I've not seen this tripe,
so I can't wait to see what old Bill.
Speaker 4 (01:06:07):
Goldberg is gonna say.
Speaker 6 (01:06:09):
How's it gonna walk? How's it gonna walk? Back that
that first statement.
Speaker 16 (01:06:13):
Because I put so much into it, and I don't
feel as though the effort was reciprocated to put a
stamp on Uh, you know what I accomplished.
Speaker 5 (01:06:24):
I'm again.
Speaker 2 (01:06:25):
I come on, man, that's what a Hall of Fame
induction is for. Like you want to talk about people's
careers going out with you know, on a low note. Yeah,
Brett Hart. Like, not not for me to defend Brett,
but like, come on, man, like, and how.
Speaker 4 (01:06:45):
Have you realize that kick that kick took from us,
Kurt Angle versus Brett Hart?
Speaker 6 (01:06:49):
Yeah, yeah, don't please Brett.
Speaker 2 (01:06:52):
Brett would have one in DNA, one hundred in DNA
and we would have gotten Brett Kurt we would have
gotten Breton a j We would have gotten bretton Joe,
like we would have gotten a slew of Brett matches,
so and T.
Speaker 12 (01:07:10):
Would have gotten because of it, like T would have
started off with Brett Hart, Like come on, man, it
would have been so.
Speaker 2 (01:07:16):
Far or it wouldn't have made a difference, which is
what I think. Yeah the case, because you know, Brett
Hark never drew money, but he paid the bill.
Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
Yes for w w A.
Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
Not for w CW. Sorry, let's let's see what Goldberg
has to say again.
Speaker 16 (01:07:40):
I'm not going to say that I'm not ecstatic about
the opportunity that I got, but you know, I was
a w CW guy, man, I was.
Speaker 4 (01:07:49):
I was.
Speaker 2 (01:07:50):
I'm not going to say that I'm not ecstatic about
the opportunity that I got, but I'm not happy.
Speaker 12 (01:07:56):
Can I Okay, I want you to watch the rest
of this interview. With this mind, I think that he
is like, you know, I could probably get another payday
out of it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
It sounds like he's saying he wants another last match yeah,
and talking about the whole w CW.
Speaker 9 (01:08:14):
I think he might be like, let's see how much
Tonyo give Mets. Why not you know, let's see what happens.
Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
I would say Sting had a worse time of it
in WWWW than Goldberg did.
Speaker 6 (01:08:26):
He mentioned in this interview something about about two weeks
was he said, like, It'll take another two weeks before
I can really get into it or whatever is that
when his contract is up or something or or what.
Speaker 4 (01:08:40):
Probably isn't it isn't his contract up.
Speaker 9 (01:08:43):
I think he signed something short term for this.
Speaker 4 (01:08:46):
I think that because originally he was he was promised
an actual like last match, and then when Vince left,
Hunter left, the contract expired. He was like, yeah, you
guys to me with the f is this? You know?
And then he was you know, he rightfully pissed off
(01:09:07):
the SO. I think that's why this got thrown together.
But I don't disagree though. This should not have happened
on a Saturday Night's main event. Frankly, this was this
this Saturday's main event and evolution. We need to be
honest about what this was. This was a glorified commercial
for the two nights Summer Slam. They're having a hard
time filling up the so you you took Goldberg's last match,
(01:09:31):
and you fill in some bullshit free TV thing. I'd
be a little pissed off too.
Speaker 2 (01:09:36):
I feel like they're trying to push Saturday night's main
event as if it's a big deal now though, Yeah,
but it's not.
Speaker 12 (01:09:41):
Also, let's not pretend that Goldberg and Triple H ever
got along with each other.
Speaker 9 (01:09:45):
Yeah, okay, that was Triple AH.
Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
Is like, like, I love Bill Lilberg. You don't stop me.
Speaker 4 (01:09:54):
Threat.
Speaker 12 (01:09:56):
I mean, well, you know, like I said, they've never
gotten along. And look, Marv, I know that you're a
big fan. I don't care at all about Goldberg, Like,
there's no I just I didn't like him when I
was fourteen years old watching him.
Speaker 9 (01:10:10):
I don't like him not, you know, I just.
Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
Never you wait, wait, you have a different subjective opinion
than me. I'm going to hate you forever and destroy
your life.
Speaker 9 (01:10:18):
No, I guess it's hard for me to.
Speaker 21 (01:10:20):
Speak on It's hard for me to speak on it
because from my point of view, although I do agree
with you, I kind of think like, yeah, you know
what that moment is for when you go to the
Hall of Fame, right, your last match like that, That's
kind of what my initial thought was, and it was
just but that's but I thought mine was colored by
the fact that I don't like Goldberg at all, you know,
I wasn't.
Speaker 9 (01:10:41):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Yes, his little speech at the end got cut off.
Nobody gets his speech. No, you get your speech at
the Hall of Fame. Nobody. Like when the Undertaker had
his last match, he didn't give a speech. When Sean
got retired, he didn't give a speech. When Flair got retired,
he didn't give a speech after the match. He did
a speech the next night on Raw, but he did
(01:11:04):
not give a speech after the match.
Speaker 4 (01:11:06):
Like the speech. They did a whole They did a
whole bugging pony and horse and horseship show for Edge.
Speaker 9 (01:11:12):
Then that's.
Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
The belt, which for some reason, for some reason, they
rolled out the red carpet for Edge when he retired,
like Edge got what no one else gets.
Speaker 4 (01:11:24):
I mean, like when he left this time, not not
my neck hurt, like the my contract ran out and
and triple A, she isn't gonna put the belt to
me and offered me at not anywhere near enough money
for me to want to stay Edge, Like we had
a whole countdown and then he had his last match,
and then he lost. He got nine billion hours of
(01:11:46):
fireworks everybody came down, he got to say goodbye Toronto,
and then they helped him and fed the black.
Speaker 12 (01:11:53):
Yeah, but it was also on SmackDown, which he just
said that since it was on Saturday Nights made event.
It wasn't big. But that was on SmackDown. So I mean,
you know, I don't think Edge is as big as Goldberg,
So I think Goldberg deserved a little bit better, but
it doesn't.
Speaker 9 (01:12:06):
I don't know. Again, my entire opinion is colored.
Speaker 12 (01:12:08):
Because I don't like old burd so I can't and
honestly I don't like Edge anymore either.
Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
Well, because we learned that Edge was a product of
the machine.
Speaker 9 (01:12:18):
I don't like.
Speaker 12 (01:12:19):
Yeah, well the big thing didn't like make me like
Edge is what I found out how soft he was
when he started blocking everybody and being all weird, And
you know that was just like, come on, dude, your
Edge man, you're once once you the.
Speaker 2 (01:12:31):
Way to really like current. Angle continued to excel apart
from the machine and raised TNA up for a bit.
Jeff Hardy did not. Jeff Hardy plummeted into obscurity. Apart
from the machine, Edge plummeted into obscurity. So that's when
you really start to see who who you know who
(01:12:51):
the talents are Christian.
Speaker 4 (01:12:53):
Well, you're being a little unfair to Jeff because it
was a big deal when Jeff jumped the first time,
and then the second time Jeff was horribly admitted to drunk,
so you weren't gonna get anything out of it.
Speaker 2 (01:13:07):
And what about a W, Jeff oh AW doesn't count.
Speaker 4 (01:13:12):
We need to be honest. I mean this, John Cena
can pop up an ae W tomorrow and it'll be
a one night ratings bump. AW does not draw because
a W is not taken seriously and it does not
appeal to a mass audience. That's why a W will
always fail. It's not at just fault and no one's
(01:13:32):
paying attention. It's all about the presentation of the show
and how the show is managed. The w B has
The w B is a machine because it built the
machine to to to maximize people's appearances, and they know
how to make They know how to make a a
D lister look like an A lister within within two
(01:13:53):
or three weeks. Ae W takes an A lister and
turns them into a D lister, turns them into a
has been But that that's a big difference. It's like, yeah,
that's really a big difference. It doesn't matter who you
put on that chip show. Within a week or two,
it'll be back. It'll be back to be missus as usual.
Speaker 6 (01:14:11):
Do you get him? Do you get him for an
ae W show once his two weeks or one mon well,
whenever Goldberg's contract is up with the w A, What
would do you Tony?
Speaker 2 (01:14:22):
Tony wants Tony wants him, Tony has wanted him since
the beginning. But then Goldberg said that thing about AW.
Didn't he make a common by a W being the
minor league or something like that?
Speaker 12 (01:14:31):
Yeah, I think I think Goldberg realized that he could
not do a match in ae W and then come
back and do his another last match in WWE, but
he can do a last match in WWE and then
go and do another one in aa W. And Goldberg
is always and I respect this about him. Goldberg has
always gone where the money was. If tn A would
(01:14:53):
have offered him more than WW, he would have gone
to TNA.
Speaker 9 (01:14:55):
He would it was.
Speaker 12 (01:14:57):
It was never about besides w CW. He never had
a home team or somewhere that he needed to be.
So I think that, Uh it was. It was a
good play you go because he could he could have
he could have said whatever he wanted to about ae W.
But if he didn't, if he came out after his
last match in w B and said, you know what,
I wasn't very happy, he'd get a multimillion dollar offered
(01:15:17):
by Tony to come there and do it at one
can We.
Speaker 2 (01:15:20):
Can well agree, though, the greatest Bill Goldberg match of
all time is the triple Threat with Kevin Nash and
Bam Bam Bigelow, because I think it's one of the
first triple threats he's ever in and so and he's
so confused by the presence of a third man in
the ring, and the match is just a train wreck.
(01:15:46):
They go to like double shoot him off, and he
bends backward too much and he ends up putting his
head under the bottom rope, and then like he go
to shoot him off and his head gets like caught
out of the top rope. I've a top rope, not
bottom rope. Let's see what else Bill has to say.
Speaker 5 (01:16:01):
Uh, I don't know, man, I don't know.
Speaker 16 (01:16:04):
I think it could be done. It could have been
done a little bit differently. That's all, and I'm happy
with my performance. I'm happy with you know, the setting,
you know, but could it have been better? Absolutely? It
can always be better.
Speaker 19 (01:16:18):
And I know you mentioned this two week thing, but
I beer missed. I don't ask what specifically could have
been done differently?
Speaker 20 (01:16:24):
Could you tell us.
Speaker 5 (01:16:24):
That, well, there's about one hundred things before him, What.
Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
Did you want the entire show to be built around him?
Speaker 4 (01:16:37):
He wanted no longer build up.
Speaker 6 (01:16:39):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:16:39):
It was it was, it was, it was. It was
very lazily dumb. So I do think this is all
very lazy, And that's my biggest complain about the majority
of what's been happening in the WWE. A lot of
this has been very lazy. They're they're they're they're skirting
by on virtue of the fact that a e W
is so so bad, but by comparison that they don't
(01:17:04):
put in too much effort. And you watch NXT, the
difference in NXT versus Rawten's back down, it stings a
little bit more because NXT runs at such a different
pace and as such different energy and has a way
better storytelling.
Speaker 2 (01:17:23):
But where we just like we were just talking about
the fact that there's such limited room on these shows.
How much TV time were they going to dedicate to
this guy who who hasn't been on top of the
business in how long and he's going to be gone
after one match. I don't think they should have dedicated
a whole ton of TV time to him.
Speaker 4 (01:17:43):
It doesn't know, but he needed more time and as
could have been ten minutes what they were. But he
is a special attraction. He was a box office draw.
And guess what I'll say it to, Vince would have
done this better.
Speaker 9 (01:17:59):
First of Goldberg has never ever ever delivered for WW.
Speaker 4 (01:18:03):
Ever, Goldberg when the first time around Your Shriner was
a disaster, but the second time him and Brock, him
and Brock had magnificent matches. Everybody was super excited about it,
Like Goldberg's old old man. Goldberg's run under Vince was terrific.
Even the weird Bobby lastly feud what was over and
(01:18:24):
Drew Drew Drew for.
Speaker 12 (01:18:25):
Them it was a okay, I mean, okay, I just disagree.
Speaker 9 (01:18:29):
I may have it, Drew.
Speaker 12 (01:18:31):
It's not like WW was not setting the world on
fire at that time period. They weren't, you know, I mean,
you look at what it is, you.
Speaker 2 (01:18:40):
Know, the only thing I remember about that was I loved,
like I was in my glory when Goldberg beat Brock
because it made the Internet explode, and I just really enjoyed,
like reveling in their tears. But I mean, I I
liked the five minute Goldberg matches that he had during
(01:19:02):
that time period. I enjoyed watching people freak out when
he beat Kevin Owens. But it was, Yeah, it was
definitely a unique run. I could definitely say that. But
let's see what else Bill had to say.
Speaker 5 (01:19:16):
I did three right in six months.
Speaker 16 (01:19:21):
You know, it's just they cut me off thirty seconds
into my speech, bro, you know, I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:19:30):
But you're gonna get a ten minute You're gonna get
a thirty minute speech at the Hall of Fame because
you're probably gonna head up the next Hall of Fame class.
Speaker 4 (01:19:36):
He's already in the Hall of Fame, isn't he?
Speaker 6 (01:19:38):
Yeah, I think it's in.
Speaker 4 (01:19:39):
He's in the Hall of Fame for years.
Speaker 2 (01:19:40):
When he already did that? Is he wait what year
did he go?
Speaker 6 (01:19:44):
Hold on?
Speaker 2 (01:19:46):
Is Goldberg.
Speaker 6 (01:19:49):
Wwe Hall of Fame? I'm gonna say class of twenty
twenty one.
Speaker 2 (01:19:53):
Yes, Goldberg is in the Class of twenty eighteen okay.
Speaker 12 (01:19:56):
Eighteen, Holy so you had your speech already and it
was a hard out on it. You know, it's like
what WW can't be like, no, don't run the next show, Goldberg.
Speaker 9 (01:20:05):
Has to finish talk like that's not gonna it doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
But like, I don't understand why you'd give him this
speech at the end of the match and not let
him just come into Raw the next night and give
him give him five to ten minutes.
Speaker 9 (01:20:18):
I do I agree with that?
Speaker 6 (01:20:19):
Yeah, didn't they put the whole speech on YouTube.
Speaker 12 (01:20:21):
And they played most they played it. I mean they
edited out the silence, but they played it all on
Raw too, So.
Speaker 2 (01:20:27):
Yeah, there there is a There is a theory that
actually what happened was Brett Hart was backstage and pulled
the pluck on the on the feed. I've come and
deared this feed didn't like I think I saw. I
don't know if it was real or not because I
didn't click on it, but it was like Brett Hart
said that, like like they actually let it go for
(01:20:47):
too long. He would have cut it off before the
match ever happened or something like that.
Speaker 7 (01:20:50):
Oh God, Bill Goldberg, I heard for this show to
take time away from my cookout to tell you that
Juel Goldberg is a low down, dirty piece of crap.
Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
I love how Sean just gets a pass now because
he hates Goldberg so much.
Speaker 4 (01:21:11):
Well because they hugged and made up.
Speaker 6 (01:21:13):
Yeah, so I do.
Speaker 2 (01:21:16):
I do love the Goldberg hit his breaking point with
Brett where he was just like, dude, I am not
apologizing for this again, like I've apologized so many times
over the years, like it's it's not happening again.
Speaker 5 (01:21:28):
You don't do that, but you know, it's all good.
It's all good.
Speaker 19 (01:21:34):
Do you think that was their callor the network's call.
Speaker 16 (01:21:37):
I think it doesn't matter because it's live television. You
can plan for it all.
Speaker 2 (01:21:43):
That's all okay. I'm sorry though, Steth rollins match going
like five minutes long because he got hurt and you
ran out of time, like something happened at this point.
Speaker 9 (01:21:54):
Or dude Triple Ah doesn't like Goldberg.
Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
I just really doubt r BLA was like my plan,
my beautiful plan.
Speaker 12 (01:22:04):
I don't think it was like that. I just don't
think he cared. I just I think he goes, okay,
he you know, maybe he probably told he probably said,
you know, make sure Goldberg speech has all the importance
stuff of the front because we're probably getting get cut off.
Speaker 9 (01:22:15):
He didn't. I don't think he prioritized for it.
Speaker 12 (01:22:18):
I don't think he's going to take time away from
a storyline that's going to affect the show going forward
to give Goldberg a moment to you know, I don't.
I think that he prioritized the stuff that the people
that are going to be there tomorrow, right.
Speaker 2 (01:22:30):
Like the stripping, Like two thousand and three, the first
time he wrestles, Goldberg, evinces like, well, power, we're putting
Bill over tonight.
Speaker 22 (01:22:37):
I'm now formulating a plan that culminates in me pulling
the plug on his retirement speech in twenty in twenty
three years.
Speaker 12 (01:22:48):
But you know, I mean, the whole situation was weird
because he didn't he did.
Speaker 9 (01:22:53):
He was he had his retirement match in his original contract.
Speaker 12 (01:22:56):
He didn't get the retirement match for one reason or another,
whether it be well, so when what your what was
that twenty twenty two that he was supposed to get
the original retirement match?
Speaker 9 (01:23:04):
Was that what his contract was up?
Speaker 4 (01:23:06):
I guess it ended. It ended in the post Vince's
Gone era.
Speaker 12 (01:23:12):
Right, So he basically last year said you owe me
a retire He's publicly kind of said, they.
Speaker 9 (01:23:20):
Owe me a retirement match. I mean he basically said that.
So yeah, and he's right.
Speaker 12 (01:23:25):
He was in his contract, I'm sure, but you know,
like I said, the current regime didn't. It's a weird
situation because the girl regime didn't give him contract. They
should have held up to it though, and they didn't.
And now they are doing something they obviously weren't wanting
to do, and it's Goldberg's doing it at a time
later than he wanted to do it. Honestly, I think
Goldberg's last match probably shouldn't have been in WW. I
(01:23:47):
think Goldberg's last match should have been an event on
its own, somewhere in a big you know, because Goldberg
can attract.
Speaker 6 (01:23:54):
Hey hey it's Conrad Town.
Speaker 2 (01:23:55):
So you're watching Goldberg's last match.
Speaker 12 (01:23:59):
But that's the old but that that's the only way
it was going to get the kind of attention that
he wanted because in a W they'd botch it.
Speaker 9 (01:24:07):
In WW, you don't care enough. He should have just
found somebody do it, you have.
Speaker 12 (01:24:12):
I bet the Prince of Saudi would pay him a
lot of money to come there and do it and
do it there like both.
Speaker 2 (01:24:18):
You know, nothing, nothing, nothing is Goldberg playing niceness with
the w W E with all of this because he's
trying to get his son a job, because I've been
hearing that his son wants to be a wrestler.
Speaker 4 (01:24:28):
I don't think that that'll happen anyways. Last name's Goldberg,
it's and he The kid's got decent size, he's got
hopefully he grows a little bit more. The you know,
the and they like legacy, and honestly, anybody with half
a brain knows they don't want to slum it in
the wcause you know, look.
Speaker 9 (01:24:48):
At Breaker, it's not like it's not like Triple H
or the WWE.
Speaker 12 (01:24:51):
We're on the best of uh, you know, on the
best of terms with the Steiner brothers. But now Breakers
being pushed to the moon, and they got another Steiner
coming up in an Il, so you know, they're not
I don't think the kids have to pay for the
sins of their fathers or you have to deal with
what ww thinks of their parents at all.
Speaker 6 (01:25:10):
Personally, right, I think Bill Goldberg has still not matured
as a professional wrestler. When you start talking like this
on the Ariel Hawane show. Listen, Bro, you were on
NBC Network television. I'm sure they did you dirty with
the contract a little bit, but you don't answer in
(01:25:32):
this way where you you say something like that and
then you try to walk it back and then you
go back to being like I have boo boo job face.
It's the same shit that Kevin Nash used to talk
about in the shoot interviews Scott Hall, all these guys
who were talking some things about Goldberg. One of the
(01:25:52):
things was like he was always poudy and still to
this day, this man is poudy, Like, Okay, dude, you
can't get it your way all the time. And that's
what it comes off to me.
Speaker 4 (01:26:04):
Yeah, I mean I say they did him dirty. It
was a bullshit lazy feud. We we only took the
belt off of j usso so that you had a
little more spice to try to mask that this was
a bullshit lazy feud. And three promos in six months
is bullshit.
Speaker 6 (01:26:22):
Do you think he was outspoken about it?
Speaker 2 (01:26:24):
Though?
Speaker 4 (01:26:24):
On a on a throwaway on a throw away event,
because the Saturday Asked me an event was a throwaway event.
Speaker 6 (01:26:32):
I don't see what Let's let's see what else.
Speaker 16 (01:26:35):
So and I know it is what it is, and
you know the match might have gone long and it
is and that that and whatever it is. But you know,
I just think that it could have been It could
have been a little classier prepared than it was.
Speaker 5 (01:26:49):
And I'll just say, and that's a mild understandment.
Speaker 6 (01:26:53):
See, he can't listen.
Speaker 9 (01:26:56):
He wanted the gold did they?
Speaker 6 (01:26:58):
Yeah, like, what is this man expecting that?
Speaker 4 (01:27:03):
Because this match should have happened on Summer Slim.
Speaker 2 (01:27:08):
Yeah, why didn't it? That's a good like unless they're
planning unless instead of Cody Sena, they're gonna throw us
a curve ball and do Cody gun.
Speaker 9 (01:27:15):
Can I I'll tell you why.
Speaker 12 (01:27:16):
Here's my opinion why it didn't happen on Summer Slim.
Because you have you already have. It's probably gonna end
up being seeing Punk versuon there. It's gonna be end
up being Cody versus Sena. You already have your two
night main event. If you put Goldberg in there, you
have to find something else to do with see him Punk,
you're pushing somebody who you don't know can give you
a good match. Goldberg is not the last few Goldberg matches.
(01:27:39):
Say what you want about his old Van Goldberg run events.
His last few matches have been miserable, and you want
to put him in the main event against one of
your top guys of your second biggest show of the year.
Speaker 4 (01:27:50):
You can't hold getting a concussion against somebody.
Speaker 2 (01:27:55):
You can hold giving yourself against somebody.
Speaker 4 (01:27:58):
Yes, uh, And honestly, who was watching Goldberg for the cinema?
The Goldberg is fast food, crash TV. He's not gone
with the Wind, He's not Citizen Kane. No one's watching
Goldberg matches for that.
Speaker 2 (01:28:14):
Yeah, but putting Goldberg in a main event at SummerSlam
is a waste. You have him for one night and
it's a It should be a guy that's one of
your guys. It's gonna be there, But how is how
is it?
Speaker 4 (01:28:26):
How is I don't know, using any legend whose semi
retired or retired, you.
Speaker 9 (01:28:31):
Should They don't put him in the made event of SummerSlam.
Speaker 4 (01:28:35):
That's like saying Stone Cold Steve Awson was a waste,
a waste when Stone called wrestled Kevin Owens in the
main event of a WrestleMania No.
Speaker 2 (01:28:42):
Because Stone caled Steve Awson was not wrestling for the
world title.
Speaker 9 (01:28:45):
In the main it was. It was it the main event.
Speaker 2 (01:28:49):
Match was the last match.
Speaker 12 (01:28:51):
Of one night one, not one Okay, Okay, I'm gonna
I'm not thinking it was.
Speaker 2 (01:28:57):
Yes, But in w W E stone Cold Steve Austin
is a different animal than Bill Goldberg, and I love
I love Goldberg, don't get me wrong, but you cannot
compare the marquee name value between the two. It's so
called Steve Austin in Texas at WrestleMania, one of the
two one of the three biggest stars in the history
(01:29:20):
of wrestling, and didn't not for a title, and Austin
went over. Yeah, Austin went over.
Speaker 9 (01:29:25):
So we didn't really bump very much either in that match.
Speaker 12 (01:29:27):
It's not like he was like he had, you know,
unless you're gonna put Goldberg against somebody you don't care about,
and at that point it can't be a main event.
Speaker 9 (01:29:33):
And then at that point he'd be angry about it. Anyway. Yeah, exactly,
what do you what are you gonna do?
Speaker 12 (01:29:38):
It's it's a it's a match they didn't want to do.
They did it. They gave him the time, they gave him.
I don't know dude, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:29:46):
Maybe you know.
Speaker 17 (01:29:47):
I get it because it's it's simple.
Speaker 4 (01:29:50):
You either do it or you don't. You don't half asset.
But I'm sure, and that's what the problem is. And
again I'll say this is something that Vince would have
never done. That's what I said. Sorry, Palace, not gonna happen,
or you do it right. You can't have ask things
like this. It doesn't matter if you don't like the guy.
(01:30:11):
It doesn't matter if you don't think he was a draw.
The fact of the matter is is a ninety eight
and ninety nine. The motherfucker was printing money like like
he was, like he was fucking Tony, Tony and Sosa
watching the money flowing. Scarface. It is what it is.
He gotta put respect on the dude's name. They dropped
(01:30:31):
the ball on this. It was lazy. It was I'm lazy.
Speaker 2 (01:30:35):
I'm also sure that NBC wanted something big for the
main event of Saturday Night.
Speaker 4 (01:30:39):
It's made event.
Speaker 2 (01:30:40):
I think I think this makes sense where they put it,
But I agree with you.
Speaker 6 (01:30:45):
They could have built it more.
Speaker 2 (01:30:48):
But I think NBC would have, you know, like like yeah,
we need something big as a draw for the show
because we wanted to pop a rating. So okay, well
we'll get back.
Speaker 12 (01:30:57):
I go, I go back to the thing where if
you build it more, what do you do? Are you
gonna take six months out of gun Thro's career to
build a match with Bill Goldberg?
Speaker 4 (01:31:04):
And then what has Gunther been doing?
Speaker 12 (01:31:07):
He was the world champion for three of those months and.
Speaker 4 (01:31:11):
He beat Pat McAfee and then he kind of just
been hanging out since WrestleMania.
Speaker 9 (01:31:16):
But I'm talking about he.
Speaker 4 (01:31:17):
Decided to settle belt back on him. But and you
can you can tell I get like, we'll's look at
the difference of a you know, I get it's it's
different because he carries a little more. But Austin Owens
that was built in what four weeks, it's it's you
can do a lot more than what they did, and
(01:31:37):
as a machine, they have proven that they can do
a lot more with a little bit of time. There.
Speaker 2 (01:31:42):
I remember, wasn't Austin like not never actually physically present
for the build of that feud.
Speaker 4 (01:31:47):
Wasn't just gotting promos and Kevin Owens and Kevin Owens
did all the heavy lifting, but they did a have
a job to get you fired up for it. What
have we got? We got Goldberg speeding into the arena.
He had one you know, face to face with um
the that was kind of about it. And then we
kept showing clips of him shooting on him when they
(01:32:08):
were in Atlanta almost a year ago.
Speaker 9 (01:32:11):
It was yeah, that was that was the interelastriar.
Speaker 6 (01:32:14):
I don't know, dude, with a four week build, a
six week build, I think one of those weeks somebody's
getting injured because they've got to they've got a touch especially.
That's the other question. Who are you throwing Goldberg with
at at a SummerSlam? Is it gonna be Gunther? And
kind of like to this is point, like so now
it's five weeks worth worth of Goldberg Gunther with the
(01:32:36):
same results. I'm almost certain of it. It's not they're
going to be the main event. You know, the match
is going to be fourteen minutes long, and it is
what it is. I think Goldberg he's too savvy of
a professional businessman to be talking like this.
Speaker 4 (01:32:53):
I think he should have been like it's always I.
Speaker 6 (01:32:56):
Know, and it's how about this about this?
Speaker 2 (01:32:59):
But what like Goldberg had a phenomenal like and not
like phenomenal businessmanes. But like in terms of what he
got to do in WWE, a phenomenal series of runs.
Look at what they did with Stingy. This sting is
in an infinitely bigger name than Goldberg.
Speaker 6 (01:33:16):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (01:33:17):
Goldberg was big for a year. Sting was big for
twenty years.
Speaker 5 (01:33:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:33:20):
And and they brought Stinging and jobbed him right out
to Trip and then he went away until they brought
him back to job him out to Seth and then
Seth hurt him.
Speaker 12 (01:33:30):
Look what they did with Scott Seiner. Scott Seiner was
built to be in the WWE. He comes in, he
slips up once, and then he never he's teaming with
test You know this again?
Speaker 9 (01:33:41):
Yeah, Like it's I don't know, Okay.
Speaker 12 (01:33:45):
If Goldberg wanted a last match with a big, pomping
circumstance and everything he wanted, maybe he should have retired
five years ago. Maybe he shouldn't have stretched it out
as long as he could milk every penny out of
Saudi Arabia or whatever or was ever willing to pay
him him over and over again. Maybe this is something
that he should have stepped back and said five years ago,
you know what, it's time to hang it up. Maybe
(01:34:07):
this is also a product of wrestlers shouldn't be retiring
when they're sixty and sixty five years old.
Speaker 2 (01:34:12):
I'm gonna say something unpopular because I want to. I
want to comment on something that's in the chat says
they found a place for Jelly Roll in Summer Slam.
It's not the good vig Olberg and Jelly Roll is
going to bring in more attention one thousand more, but
like it's not even close. I don't like jelly Roll
in the ring, and I think Jelly Roll, and I
said this stood in the stream, Jelly Roll has lost
(01:34:33):
entirely too much weight to be seen as a credible
threat to Logan Paul because now he's just like a
regular fat guy instead of like like a hay Sacks
Calhoun the way he was like when he went face
to face with Logan pol it looked ridiculous, but but.
Speaker 6 (01:34:50):
He knows how to sell. Though.
Speaker 2 (01:34:52):
It's not saying you put the belt on jelly Roll,
but like having him in attag Match is a big deal.
Speaker 9 (01:34:57):
And and you know what jelly Roll is going to
bring in. Jelly was going to bring in.
Speaker 12 (01:35:01):
People who WW might actually get to stick around and
watch the product in the future. It's the audience that
might be attracted to their current product. Goldberg represents the
time in an audience that probably would complain about the
current product. So by building up Goldberg and making him
a big deal, you're bringing in people who probably won't
even liked or stick around with what you're doing.
Speaker 4 (01:35:20):
A special attraction is a special attraction, whether it's a
fat celebrity or an old wrestler who drew a lot
of money. So if you can make room for one,
you can make room for two. This doesn't happen because
they wanted half. The half asked do you think it
is what it is?
Speaker 12 (01:35:40):
Do you think Goldberg would have been happy with a
non main event match at SummerSlam.
Speaker 6 (01:35:49):
Against against.
Speaker 4 (01:35:54):
If it was a bullshit you know mid Carter, No,
he would have been pissed off. Goldberg was in the
match that he should have been in, or he should
he should have been That's really what it should have been.
Speaker 6 (01:36:08):
Yeah, but here's Bron.
Speaker 4 (01:36:12):
Exactlyn doesn't Bron isn't season enough to do that.
Speaker 2 (01:36:17):
That's the story because Scott Steiner was one of Goldberg's
big arch nemeses, So that story would have written itself,
and that would have been awesome.
Speaker 12 (01:36:25):
Yeah, could they fit him on the card, yes, but
could they fit him on a card in a place
that wouldn't still cause him to do this interview two
days later?
Speaker 9 (01:36:32):
And I don't think. I think the answer is no.
I think there. I think there.
Speaker 12 (01:36:36):
I think that there is very little they could have
done other than let him may have been.
Speaker 4 (01:36:42):
What do you mean this very They didn't do ship
for this. That that's why he's angry. He's not mad
that he lost. They didn't do ship for this. This
was a This was a bullshit lazy feud, lazy booking.
But that's what this was.
Speaker 6 (01:36:57):
I agree, agree you.
Speaker 12 (01:37:00):
Know what, and I don't disagree, But I don't think
old Berg deserves more.
Speaker 9 (01:37:04):
I think that's just it.
Speaker 12 (01:37:08):
What you mean, Yeah, I said that, dude, I said
that ten minutes ago, no one paid attention.
Speaker 6 (01:37:15):
Stayed again, he got infinitely more than Sting.
Speaker 2 (01:37:18):
And then we had to deal with Sting jumping off
balconies in a in a w.
Speaker 4 (01:37:22):
In events world, Goldberg showed up in shape. Sting showed
up a decrepit old man wearing a baggy T shirt.
Speaker 2 (01:37:31):
Because well, Stink didn't wear the T shirt in w
W E he actually wore his gear.
Speaker 4 (01:37:35):
That's true. He looks sad in his gear and and
I love staying but he looked like.
Speaker 9 (01:37:41):
You know what's funny.
Speaker 12 (01:37:41):
C C in the chat said how many people did
bad Buddy bring in? I don't know, but I can
tell you what. After bad Money came in, WW went
on to have record profits. So there's a good chance
he brought in some fans.
Speaker 6 (01:37:52):
He brought it.
Speaker 2 (01:37:55):
Yeah, w W since since you know WrestleMania one and
two with all the celebrities, Lawrence Taylor at WrestleMania eleven, uh,
Floyd Mayweather to to Mike Tyson. They love when they
can do something that puts them on the evening news,
that puts them on ESPN.
Speaker 9 (01:38:14):
Yea jelly Roll.
Speaker 12 (01:38:15):
If you don't, if you don't think jelly Roll is
a big deal, you aren't talking to people because everyone
knows who jelly Roll is.
Speaker 4 (01:38:21):
Jelly Roll is adel for men who are fourth certified.
Speaker 9 (01:38:25):
But he's not Uncle, He's not Uncle Cracker.
Speaker 4 (01:38:28):
Okay, but well, also, and we talked about this a
couple of weeks ago. The WB is a very different
place right now. They know they they know that it
doesn't matter what they put out on TV. Someone could
take a dump and ring and they'll leave the camera
on for two hours. There's still gonna be a couple
of million people watching it. The w TB books their
shows for viral moments. It's it's it's designed for maximum
(01:38:52):
coverage on YouTube and Instagram. And and.
Speaker 2 (01:38:57):
There's one other factor as to why this was a
Saturday Nights made of Somebody just pointed out in the
chat it was in Atlanta.
Speaker 9 (01:39:03):
Yeah, yeah, we know.
Speaker 4 (01:39:05):
But it's just doesn't mean it wasn't lazy. It was
half assed.
Speaker 2 (01:39:10):
I mean, if you don't about the build, then then
you can make a case for the build, I think,
but you know, it's uh yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:39:17):
Get it. They could have did well in uh in
two and a half weeks as a build. I don't
know what you could have done, you know, but uh yeah,
I agree with keV, but I also agree with this, like,
uh yeah, the build was half asked. But come on, Bill, television.
You know about television, you know about how time management works,
(01:39:37):
you know how things get cut short quick bitching.
Speaker 12 (01:39:40):
I think I just can't think of a time when
Goldberg's Goldberg's time with the company has come up and
He's gone on afterwards and said, you know, I really
enjoyed my time with that company. I think everything was
every time he complains like this, and it makes me
think that there's nothing they could have done to make
him happy.
Speaker 9 (01:39:54):
That's what.
Speaker 2 (01:39:56):
Yeah, So forever Runner for says Triple H is Vince
and Goldberg is Bruno?
Speaker 4 (01:40:03):
Here?
Speaker 2 (01:40:05):
Did did Vince not give Bruno a good sendoff?
Speaker 4 (01:40:08):
Yeah? Prevention all over Bruno?
Speaker 9 (01:40:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:40:11):
Yeah, gotcha? Et twenty free for two dollars says name
another big Hall of Famer with worse time in WWE
than staying. I couldn't. I couldn't tell you.
Speaker 4 (01:40:23):
What.
Speaker 2 (01:40:24):
Did he have three matches and lost all of them?
Speaker 6 (01:40:28):
Did he even have three?
Speaker 4 (01:40:29):
He beat the Big Show?
Speaker 2 (01:40:31):
Did he?
Speaker 4 (01:40:32):
Yeah? I remember that that was an.
Speaker 2 (01:40:35):
Event over Raw John Williams close out of Raw. Oh
that's awesome, John Williams of four ninety nine. Brett hates
Goldberg more because Bill came back to wrestle. Uh, yeah,
I agree. I think Brett probably saw that as there
being no justice in the universe for have a Runner
for fort ninety nine. Divide a dollar for every time
Brett mentioned Goldberg. I'd have enough money to buy Jeff
(01:40:55):
Bezos and Elon Musk. He mentioned him several times a
day Monkey Balls for five dollars his new podcast with
Goldberg and Rakishi call it Push my Son. John Williams
of four ninety nine, when Scott's son is hired, Hey, trip,
want to take a trip down memory lane?
Speaker 6 (01:41:13):
No soup?
Speaker 9 (01:41:14):
Lex m.
Speaker 2 (01:41:17):
Virginia Sharp for five says sorry, mister Goldberg, mistakes were made. Uh.
John Williams of forty nine says Sting did the great
honor of jobbing to.
Speaker 7 (01:41:31):
Me.
Speaker 4 (01:41:33):
Sorry, I'm sorry. So I got into the front. Tripletch
a little bit, Tripleitch wanted to put Sting over.
Speaker 2 (01:41:39):
That was all events, of course, it was Yeah, my
my theory has always been. He was like, hey, you know,
I think I did this in headlock Headlines with It
was like, you know, if you think about it, it's
kind of like WWE versus w C W, isn't it.
Speaker 6 (01:41:55):
I mean?
Speaker 2 (01:41:56):
In is since Dad, It's kind of like you verse
this is Ted Turner. Anyway, I really think I should
shot the guy over.
Speaker 23 (01:42:03):
Yeah, all right, I guess I have to go over then,
Like the second they started saying on on TV, like
the the the the avatar of w c W.
Speaker 2 (01:42:16):
I was like, oh no, I knew exactly where it
was going then. And don't get me started on the
nWo making the say for him. I was that that
made me so angry. Made no they would never did
XPOC have on.
Speaker 4 (01:42:31):
The the the the merged shirt?
Speaker 2 (01:42:35):
Did he?
Speaker 4 (01:42:35):
He probably should the shirt? I should have the only.
Speaker 2 (01:42:40):
Crossover al Let's count yeh, let's count Sean Virginia Sharp
for fifty dollars? Is I did not realize jelly Roll
Morton was such a big deal? H man, Regina Sharp,
Thank you very very much. I gotta find a clip
to play for you real quick because you have been
so awesome tonight. Let's you know what, Here you go
(01:43:04):
for all the people that that you know get upset
on a daily basis. There you go, Thank you very
very much. But yeah, no, jelly Roll is, you know,
(01:43:24):
apparently a bit. I didn't know who he was when
he first showed up in WW, but now I know
who he is and I hear about him.
Speaker 4 (01:43:29):
All the times.
Speaker 2 (01:43:30):
All right, where are we going to next?
Speaker 6 (01:43:33):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:43:33):
Time to talk about Time to listen to Tony kN talk, right,
I think it's time for that, all right, So Tony
con did another one of his Twitter live streams this week,
and dis has captured it for us and sped it
up to one point five times, and it's probably still
going to be ungodly levels of long. So uh, let's
(01:43:56):
have a look at what Tony Kahan had to say.
Speaker 20 (01:44:01):
Hey, everybody, it's great to be live.
Speaker 2 (01:44:04):
Oh my gosh, he looks so stupid, like like he's
holding the phone at the most unflattering angle a human
being conholes.
Speaker 4 (01:44:11):
She's kill we We do need to address this. Tony
Khan is roughly in our age group, right, So that means.
Speaker 2 (01:44:21):
That I was a little older than a little older
than me.
Speaker 4 (01:44:24):
So that means that he has grown up with the technology, right,
So he's like so like, so he he should be
frightfully aware of the unflattering angle slash. He should have
a young intern who is aware of the flattering angle.
Speaker 2 (01:44:45):
Why was he to do this or set up a
damn like like like set up a tripod with a
ring light on it or something.
Speaker 6 (01:44:52):
Man, how do you look like Mark Zuckerberg and a
ball at the same time?
Speaker 2 (01:45:02):
Why does he not have this right?
Speaker 4 (01:45:06):
I'm going to resort and this is here for a reason.
Why does he not have.
Speaker 9 (01:45:12):
This right.
Speaker 20 (01:45:15):
If here x, I've got people filing in and it's
the biggest week of the year for aw We're having
such a great twenty twenty five and we're going live today.
Speaker 2 (01:45:24):
All right, God give me strength. He has been talking
about this twenty twenty five year like it is WWF
in nineteen ninety eight, like like they are just doing
record business where where every conceivable metric is down.
Speaker 20 (01:45:41):
No day with super Card of Honor, and I just
wanted to come in and talk to everybody. It's the
biggest invest week we've had all year. We had a
great Wednesday Night Dynamite in Garland and then a great
Thursday Night Collision last night. The fans have.
Speaker 2 (01:45:55):
Been I count five greats already and we are seconds
into this.
Speaker 20 (01:46:01):
He's just so great and so welcoming here in Texas
around the Dallas Metroplex, and we've got a big event tonight,
Supercart of Honor. We've got some great related.
Speaker 2 (01:46:08):
So now he's mentioned Supercard of Honor.
Speaker 20 (01:46:10):
Twice, relationships that we built all over the world of
wrestling on night in Garland and then a great Thursday
Night Collision last night. The fans have been so great
and so welcoming here in Texas around the Dallas Metroplex,
and we've got a big event tonight, Supercart of Honor.
We've got some great relationships that we built all over
the world of wrestling. I'm very honored that I'm gonna
be joined here today by my great friend the.
Speaker 2 (01:46:31):
That's like ten greats.
Speaker 6 (01:46:33):
Yeah, dude, his range and vocabulary is geez dare I say, Novice.
Speaker 2 (01:46:40):
You know what, I'm actually going to keep a running
taally of the greats. We're gonna start over awful on them.
Speaker 6 (01:46:45):
Let's do it all over again.
Speaker 2 (01:46:46):
That's right, Yeah, we start all over we can.
Speaker 6 (01:46:50):
We can we place bets on how many Yeah, all right,
I'm saying over under thirty. I know you probably count
of twenty already. I'm gonna say under thirty. Okay, it'll
be under thirty.
Speaker 2 (01:47:02):
All right, I will say I'll say over thirty.
Speaker 6 (01:47:04):
Okay, all right. Lets me do this for reginas every
super chat.
Speaker 20 (01:47:11):
It's great to be live here on x I've got
people filing in and it's the biggest week of the
year for aw we'ving's such a great twenty twenty five
and we're going live today with Supercart of Honor, and
I just wanted to come in and talk to everybody.
It's the biggest invest week we've had all year. We
had a great Wednesday night Dynamite in Garland and then
a great Thursday night Collision last night. The fans have
been so great and so welcoming here in Texas around
(01:47:33):
the Dallas Metroplex, and we've got a big event tonight,
Supercart of Honor. We've got some great relationships that we
built all over the world of wrestling. I'm very honored
that I'm gonna be joined here today by my great friend,
the president of the brilliant mind of CMLL, mister Salvador
Luthrof Salvador, my great friend has promoted alongside aw and
Ring of Honor, and of course with CMLL and Ring
(01:47:53):
of Honor, we recently put on the Global Wars event
together and that was such a huge success for Ring
of Honor. Of course he was the same week.
Speaker 2 (01:48:01):
How do you how is something a success? How is
something a success for Ring of Honor? Ring of Honor
makes nothing like like like how many how many like
successes do you honestly think Ring of Honor has had
since he's he's owned it?
Speaker 9 (01:48:18):
His success is did he like the match? That's his
bar for success?
Speaker 6 (01:48:22):
So great?
Speaker 2 (01:48:23):
We have eight great final lives so far.
Speaker 20 (01:48:25):
Yep, so far because we had the big AW Grand
Slam Mexico, which is one of the most important and
successful AW events ever.
Speaker 6 (01:48:33):
Oh, here we go again.
Speaker 2 (01:48:36):
This is the last live stream that he did where
he just talked NonStop about this Mexico show.
Speaker 20 (01:48:41):
Part of this huge twenty twenty five that Aw's having.
Speaker 2 (01:48:44):
But also once now the second time he's mentioned how
great twenty twenty five or third time he's mentioned how
great his twenty twenty five has been great.
Speaker 20 (01:48:52):
Things happening in Ring of Honor show was fantastic. If
you haven't seen it yet, it's on YouTube right now
and it's a must watch, especially ahead of tonight's rh
Super CARDI of Honor event. I first took.
Speaker 2 (01:49:02):
Good Lord, you've mentioned this like five times already. Is
he just think? Is you gets like on purpose? Do
you think it's like a like he's trying to just
like hammer it in like if he's a super Card
of Honor Enough times?
Speaker 6 (01:49:16):
No people will I think this is how Yeah? I
think this is him. This is how he talks. This
is how he communicates with people.
Speaker 2 (01:49:23):
By the way, for those in the chat, he's not
talking this fast. Dissped this up by one and a
half times, right, because otherwise we'd be here all night.
Speaker 6 (01:49:31):
He is not on the actually talk.
Speaker 2 (01:49:33):
He actually talks very slow.
Speaker 20 (01:49:35):
Typically go over RH here around Dallas. Actually, their first
RH show I did was in Garland, minutes away from here.
It's where we did Thursday Night Collision last Night, Wednesday Night,
Done Night a couple nights ago. There's a great tradition
in ROH. They've worked with CMLL many years dating back,
but I think some of the best matches and best
moments have come from AW and RH partnering with CMLL
(01:49:56):
in recent years. I know Aw's having a great twenty
twenty five and I s. One of my favorite events
I've done as a wrestling promoter this year has been
the RH Global Wars. One of the best matches I've
seen was Bandido the World Champion, defending the title against
Masca a Derata in Arena, Mexico. You can watch the
match now on YouTube as part of the RH Global Wars.
What a win by Bandido and tonight what a test
for Bandido.
Speaker 2 (01:50:18):
Good Lord and now he's doing this stupid thing where
he pretends it's it's all a work, like like just
talking and where's it is? He is horrific to listen to.
Speaker 20 (01:50:30):
At RG Global Wars, the challenge was made. Kanuske Takeshia
at the Alpha put out the challenge at Global Wars
and said he wants Bandido and Tonight that's gonna be
an absolutely fantastic title match coming off of Bandido making
one of the best defense.
Speaker 2 (01:50:42):
How about you make like you have like one of
the people that work for you, make like a hype
video for this show in these matches, and said him,
you standing in front of of an eggshell colored wall
with your big glasses on and you know, the camera
at the worst possible talking about how great everything is.
Speaker 12 (01:51:01):
This is uh, this is at one point five speed
again by the way, it is right, yeah, yeah, I
don't know if you could tell, but it is.
Speaker 6 (01:51:09):
We said it.
Speaker 20 (01:51:09):
We said, okay, this is I think ever of the
rh World Championship certainly one of my personal favorite matches
of twenty twenty five Indiito retaining the title versus mass
Gadroda and tonight Bandido wout a test with the Alpha.
Takesha uh. And speaking of the big World Championship matches
at Global Wars, so many huge things happened, and we
had a huge match featuring the Ring of Honor Women's
(01:51:30):
World Champion Athena and now the top ten tender thunder Rosa.
Thunder Rosa picking up the win inner Ina Mexico. Her
team victorious. Thunder Rosa has been on a roll. Both
these women are lined up if their numbers are called.
Speaker 2 (01:51:41):
Like this is this is? How is this what you're
talking about in your live stream? You're giving a recap
of your shows? In theory? Aren't the people that are
watching this didn't they watch your show?
Speaker 12 (01:51:53):
It's basically just what came at the end of the
press scrub where he did or at the beginning of
the press like his is part of the restrum when
he just went on for like twenty minutes at the
beginning and didn't say anything at all.
Speaker 9 (01:52:04):
This is basically the same they checked the back check mark.
Speaker 2 (01:52:08):
Oh cold on okay, okay, um, all right, makes sense.
So you have to you have to, you have to
head out.
Speaker 9 (01:52:21):
Yeah I didn't want to do it, but I don't
really have a te No.
Speaker 2 (01:52:24):
I understand, I totally understand Boddy, go take care of
your stuff. Thanks, We love you, talk to you later.
Speaker 4 (01:52:28):
Thanks, all right.
Speaker 2 (01:52:31):
Continuing on.
Speaker 20 (01:52:34):
For the casino gamblet match tomorrow at aw all In,
and both of them are prying for a huge world
title fight tonight of course, thunder Rosa taking on Athena
for the World Championship tonight. So many big things happening
tonight at Supercard of Honor, and this huge weekend of
course aw all In with Supercard of Honor. So many
of the events culminated bar and building up.
Speaker 6 (01:52:52):
He talks as if you're reading a newspaper clipping about
aw from like the nineteen sixties, Like big weekend coming,
we're gonna be having Bandido facing Like.
Speaker 2 (01:53:04):
He goes on and on thing over and over and
over again. It's you know, we really had a great
twenty twenty five this year, and we've got a huge
show coming up. But it's gonna be great, and you know,
it's just part of our really huge twenty twenty five
we're having this year where you know, this weekend, I mean,
we're having a huge show and it's really gonna be
great because this twenty twenty five has been so great
for aew and it's weekend. It's all you're gonna get
(01:53:24):
better because we're doing a huge show this weekend, and
my goodness, it's gonna be great as great as this
twenty twenty five has been for aew and it's great.
Is this huge weekend is gonna be for us because
you know, we're a big show and it's gonna be great.
And that's literally what he's doing.
Speaker 6 (01:53:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 20 (01:53:40):
Yeah, for Arena Mexico at Global Wars. So that show
you can watch it now on YouTube. It was very
important in the development of this pay per view tonight.
Of the five matches announced, really, I think four of
them had major developments there. It's gonna be a great
card tonight. Of course, like I said before, title matches
with Athena versus sonder Rosa and to Catch it A
versus Bandido, both huge world title fights. We saw the
(01:54:02):
Pure Championship match. It got set up in Arena Mexico
when Blue Panther if.
Speaker 6 (01:54:06):
He doesn't even have water next to this guy, he
doesn't even know how to edit himself.
Speaker 2 (01:54:11):
He hasn't blinked.
Speaker 20 (01:54:12):
Yeah, Lee Moriarty and Blue Panther secured himself a shot
at the ROH Pure title tonight here at Super Card
of Honor, very excited about this card with a Peni
versus thunder Rosa Bandido versus Takashia.
Speaker 2 (01:54:24):
Oh my god, mmm, how many times is he gonna
run down this card?
Speaker 20 (01:54:33):
Of course? Now Blue Panther versus Lee Moriarty for the
Pure title. We had approving ground match also that you
can watch as part of this great Global War show.
A ten minute draw between the champion Nick Wayne and
the challenger Titan results in this championship match tonight, and
Titan has defeated Nick Wayne in New Japan Pro Wrestling
in the Super Junior, so there's a lot of history
between them. Another match we also saw last week, not
(01:54:56):
related directly to the Global Wars, the Infantry took the
number one contender spot for the Tag Team Championship. The
Infantry themselves made their presence very felt at Global Wars,
as you could see at the end of the show
following the Blue.
Speaker 2 (01:55:04):
Pet Oh wow talking about roh nobody cares.
Speaker 6 (01:55:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 20 (01:55:12):
Panther morioraty match, So is it gonna be a great show?
As I mentioned those five matches we've announced, we have
not announced yet a Women's World TV Championship match because
at Global Wars that week with our great shows in
Mexico with our partners, the champion, Red Velvey was injured,
and she's been doing a fantastic job as champion. She's
had some great defenses, and she's representing both aw and
Ring of Honor very well as an ambassador and a
(01:55:33):
champion wrestling in CMLL, which is really important to us.
As I mentioned, Salvador is actually in town. Salvator is
gonna be here today. He's a grea friend of mine
and a great friend of the company, and relve it's
been a freak champion. I don't agree with everything she's done,
said it twice.
Speaker 2 (01:55:45):
How many times is he going to call this guy
his great friend?
Speaker 20 (01:55:49):
Un aligning with Athena and all of her tactics. But
I think Red Velvet has done some very great things
as Ring of Honor TV champion. Unfortunately she's injured. She
cannot defend the title at Supercard tonight. So I've shifted
around a lot of plans. In the past week. I've
been making phone calls. I've lined up a worldwide women's
wild card four way match for tonight, some top international
stars competing for the interim ROH World Women's Television Championship.
(01:56:13):
So we'll have some great stars competing in a four
way in the Worldwide Women's Wildcard four way match for
the interim rh Women's World TV title tonight at Supercard.
The winner will be the Interim ROH World Women's TV
Champion and he'll.
Speaker 2 (01:56:26):
Take Is it just that he's an idiot or does
he think that bym saying things over and over and
over again he can just like hammer it into your head.
Does he think it's like a repetition thing.
Speaker 6 (01:56:38):
Nah? This is not like the big lie technique. This
is something stranger. This is a man who's been a
wrestling introvert for a long long time and he enjoys
talking to himself. And thank god for the cell phone
and Twitter x live because now he can talk to
all of his goofy fans just like this and all
(01:57:01):
they all love it, they all agree with it.
Speaker 2 (01:57:03):
This is sped up one and a half times.
Speaker 20 (01:57:05):
Yep, yep, gone Red Velvet to crown an undisputed RH
Women's World TV champion when Red Velvet is cleared hopefully soon.
And in addition with as I mentioned, my great friends
salvad Or Luther Off in town and.
Speaker 6 (01:57:18):
So great twenty one two.
Speaker 2 (01:57:23):
Yeah, yep, you're right, he did, just did twenty two.
Speaker 20 (01:57:26):
EW stars here as well. We've got people from aw
CML and top promotions all over the world here for
aw All in weekend and of course with aw All
in tomorrow afternoon Saturday afternoon, July twelve, as well as
this big Supercard of Honor tonight. People are clamoring for
spots and clamoring for spots on Supercard tonight. There are
a lot of people lined up to participate, not only
in the Worldwide Women's wild Card International four way match
that we will find some great stars coming in here
(01:57:49):
to try to challenge for that rh Women's World TV title,
but also a lot of top men and top competitors
clamoring to get on the show. So we've announced five
matches that are great matches. Like I said, four of
them came directly out of the Global War Show. You
can go watch that right now. We still have hours
to go before Supercard starts. Uh and with so many
people lining up for spots here, I know it's going
to be a great night of action, so come check
(01:58:09):
it out now. In addition to that great international, we
have six wide Women's wild card four way match.
Speaker 6 (01:58:16):
We're pulling up to thirty.
Speaker 2 (01:58:17):
It's sorry, so I'm not gonna.
Speaker 4 (01:58:20):
I wasn't paying attention to anything you said because I
got a phone call. What are we counting?
Speaker 2 (01:58:24):
We're counting how many times he says the word great?
He has said it twenty six times? Off under at
thirty he said under. I said over thirty, So we
are we are. He's got four more greats until he
hits the over under. He has just said he's run
down the card for this show five times. So let's
(01:58:46):
just keep going.
Speaker 20 (01:58:47):
It's for the rh World TV title. I think we're
also going to have some top competitors lined up for
other spots on the zero hour on the card. Like
I said, in addition to that four way match, we
had alread announced five great matches, four of them. You
can see how they came out out of the Global
War Show. It's completely free to watch on YouTube.
Speaker 6 (01:59:02):
And how about phenomenal winning go to night fantastic, It's
gonna be spectacular, it's gonna be the well, you can't
say it's gonna be phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (01:59:12):
Went, I went back with you. I went back a
few seconds just so we don't miss it. Great because
we're a crunch time here, right.
Speaker 20 (01:59:16):
Great matches, four of them you can see out of the.
Speaker 2 (01:59:19):
Global now that one, we counted that one already.
Speaker 6 (01:59:21):
Okay, okay, wor show.
Speaker 20 (01:59:23):
It's completely free to watch on YouTube, and I would
highly recommend joining us tonight on watch ROH dot com
for Supercard of Honor. Great way to spend a Friday
night watching ROH. And yeah, all these great wrestlers here
in Arlington, Texas, all these great wrestlers around Dallas.
Speaker 2 (01:59:36):
Right, look how much time we've got left. He's definitely
got two more greats in him.
Speaker 6 (01:59:39):
Oh my.
Speaker 20 (01:59:43):
Right now for aw all In weekend and Supercard tonight.
And speaking of aw all In, you can watch it
tomorrow Saturday afternoon, July twelfth. It's gonna be a great
way to spend an afternoon watching wrestling. And I promise
it's gonna be, I think, the best aw event ever
in what has been the best year I think we've
had of aw in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (02:00:01):
I cannot believe, Oh my gosh, he said, he once
again said, what a great twenty twenty five it's been.
Wait was that thirty? No, I don't think it wasn't
saying that's thirty. I thought, Oh, he says we missed one. Okay,
I'll that's thirty.
Speaker 20 (02:00:22):
On Gamba Shows. It's great to see you all here

Speaker 4 (02:00:58):
Fucker, great good, great great great great thirty two great
great great great great great great great great word.
Speaker 2 (02:01:07):
Oh and it's gonna be such a great twenty It's
we've been such a great twenty twenty five despite the
fact that every major you know, measurable metric is down
across the board. For us, it's just been it's just
been great.
Speaker 4 (02:01:20):
Lies.
Speaker 2 (02:01:25):
Wow, let's let's get let's get to a few super
chats before we hear from another idiot. Uh, mister Jamie
jam eighty eight for four ninety nine says.
Speaker 6 (02:01:35):
What his name's jelly roll? I thought it was mail
Adele Sean.
Speaker 2 (02:01:38):
You give me the wrong name again.
Speaker 6 (02:01:40):
Do you dare laugh at me?
Speaker 2 (02:01:41):
Jobber monster? David Carridian's Closet for two dollars Canadian says
Tony is slowly becoming tooney in looks now. Yikes, I
thought the same thing. He really is starting to over
at the puppet.
Speaker 6 (02:01:54):
Yeah, yeah, exaggerated features.
Speaker 2 (02:01:58):
Regina Shop for ten dollars. He just keeps talking in
one long, incredibly unbroken sentence, moving from topic to topic so
that no one had a chance to interrupt. It was
really quite hypnotic.
Speaker 4 (02:02:13):
She quoted Captain Picard and that was spectacular. Yeah, well
well done, well done.
Speaker 6 (02:02:21):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 2 (02:02:22):
All right, guys, well.
Speaker 4 (02:02:24):
Just talking in one continuous sentence so that he could
not be interrupted.
Speaker 2 (02:02:32):
Let's see what another idiot has to say. Dave Metzer
had a big week this week. So this guy right here,
Nicola Piccolo basically was talking about the difference between his
(02:02:52):
AW show and a w W show, especially when it
comes to like you know, VIPs and network people, right afo,
I believe he's it's something along the line of, I
like all the Netflix people show up for raw and
then at.
Speaker 6 (02:03:08):
Right that basically AEW doesn't treat as executives as well
as WWE does, and they don't go. Yeah, they don't go.
And on a deeper level, it's because Tony and a
W are not respected respectively.
Speaker 2 (02:03:25):
So he said, no one in Hollywood saw the advertisements,
lo o l they saw a free invite to the
Forum Club. That's it. Don't book a Texas death match
if you're trying to impress people who lunch as soho house,
which is true. They don't want to Network executives don't
want to come and watch John Moxley on a bed
of nails.
Speaker 6 (02:03:42):
Or getting stabbed with a fork, yeah for real, falling
on glass.
Speaker 2 (02:03:51):
So then I'm sorry, So Dave goes sorry you're having
a meltdown over AEW. Not die. So Nicko La Piccolo
is like a big name m M. A agent like
he represents a lot of fighters from what I understand, right,
like this guy's this guy's a big deal in the.
Speaker 6 (02:04:06):
City and professional wrestlers.
Speaker 4 (02:04:09):
Yeah, and does not give a shit about a right,
So here he comes.
Speaker 2 (02:04:14):
Sorry, you're having a melt out of a w N
die And I know firsthand that type of match is
a negative to suck. It was more over the line
than Helen to sell, which drew verse spunk. That said,
as far as generally offending some people, people offended by
one would be offended by the other, and obviously the
people who like one would likely would likely like the other.
(02:04:34):
I am close friends now that don't like a w
or WW but love Arina Mexico because directly appeals to
and do just turn off not fans. But if you
want to criticize that type of match, you have to
do so for more than one company, because every company
of any size but CMLL does stuff like that.
Speaker 5 (02:04:52):
Yeah match.
Speaker 2 (02:05:01):
He went on a tirade at this man.
Speaker 6 (02:05:05):
He wrote an entire Observer newsletter. Well he goes, you
wrote a whole essay to say nothing.
Speaker 2 (02:05:13):
Everyone with a brain larger than that of a chipmunk understood.
Speaker 4 (02:05:21):
That's that asault that like a nerdy fourth.
Speaker 2 (02:05:28):
I am rubber and you are gluten. Whatever you say
bounces off of me, it sticks to you.
Speaker 6 (02:05:33):
I got it, I know you are, But what am
I nailed it?
Speaker 4 (02:05:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:05:43):
Uh so then somebody else replied, I understand that you
in blackball from WWE, and you don't like that they
don't acknowledge you. I get it, but if you need
I get it. You need validation from the billionaire fan
and all those NJBW guys. But after a while the
stick gets gets old. Of course you're blackballed. Oh. I
(02:06:04):
was called and asked to be at Mania and multiple
shows every year, and I contact with people there multiple
times a day. Read an issue before commentated.
Speaker 4 (02:06:15):
Dwayne Combs me and I love Dwayne.
Speaker 5 (02:06:19):
Oh god.
Speaker 4 (02:06:22):
Uh he told me love was a poo poo head
and I believe it.
Speaker 2 (02:06:29):
So so by the way, like seriously, like you're trying
to he's so, he's saying that he's being He was
asked me at Mania and multiple shows every year, and
is in contact with people there multiple times a day.
I have never heard so many eyes in my entire
(02:06:49):
life other than what I was saying them.
Speaker 4 (02:06:58):
My good friend Dwayne had people calling me all day.
They tell me that my refrigerator was running. They remind
me that Prince Albert to.
Speaker 6 (02:07:06):
The Cane cares about me and he checks on me.
Speaker 2 (02:07:13):
So then while this is going on, Jimmy Corderis asks
Dave lo Greca and Bubba Ray Dudley, curious your thoughts
on not spacing the three main events and having them
back to back to back. Now, he addresses this question
to Dave Logreca and Bubba Ray Dudley. Yeah, so, Dave
(02:07:36):
Meltzer answers.
Speaker 6 (02:07:38):
He comes into the huddle.
Speaker 2 (02:07:42):
Dave Meltzer has entered the chat and everyone else has left.
Speaker 4 (02:07:45):
A while Dave Meltzer appears.
Speaker 18 (02:07:48):
Yeah, a wild slapp nuts of Jeff Jarrett.
Speaker 2 (02:08:00):
H you mean like every UFC show, almost every boxing
and kickboxing show, ninety five percent of wrestling shows till WWE,
and almost one percent in Japan and Mexico even today,
anyone with the slightest bit of historical knowledge, anyone who
the slightest bit of historical knowledge of combat sports would
question companies for not doing it, even though I get
(02:08:23):
both mentalities like okay, yes, boxing, kickboxing sure legitimate sports,
UFC sure, do it that way because those are the
matches that people are sticking around for, so you want
to put them at the end. But in a wrestling
show where you are relying, you are relying on storytelling
and keeping the crowd hot, you have to space them out.
Speaker 4 (02:08:45):
Yes, you control and you can do the.
Speaker 2 (02:08:48):
Damn Matthew idiot. Ah, It's not the same as a
combat sport. I'm sorry, what.
Speaker 4 (02:08:59):
Sorry guy, I hate to break this to you. It's
make believe the play fighting. The other one is a
real fight. It is uncontrollable, unpredictable, and you have to
go to the momentum. The other one creates momentum. You.
Speaker 2 (02:09:18):
It's artificial momentum. You when you place a when you
when you write a wrestling show, it's like you're writing
a book. There has to be a beginning, a middle,
and an end. It has to rise and fall. It
has to take people on an emotional journey. It's still
real to me. So then somebody says, why did you
(02:09:42):
chime in when Jimmy didn't address it to you. He was, Oh,
I cover wrestling history and wrestling all over the world,
So the seeming complaint was over something. Almost every company
outside of w W E and a w and wrestling
almost all in boxing and kickboxing, a doll in mma
do every single shop I'm gonna.
Speaker 6 (02:09:59):
Talk about not answering the question. Holy shit, But like if.
Speaker 2 (02:10:03):
The WWE doesn't do it, it's not done in wrestling
because in America, in the United States where this show aired,
that's the way it's done right.
Speaker 4 (02:10:15):
Everybody else's poor, bankrupt earl Athnet except for the WWE.
Speaker 2 (02:10:20):
Well, and like the way things work in Japan or Mexico,
it's it's like an entirely different world over there with
the way the crowds are, they're not the same.
Speaker 6 (02:10:35):
Dave Cherry picks his quote tweets, by the way, it's
it's very important for that to be considered because it's
just like he pick and chooses his arguments and picks
and chooses when he wants to defend aw So this
week has been a banner week for him.
Speaker 2 (02:10:52):
Though seriously, like so not to be you know. So,
when Dave left to go handle this situation, it left
the Nick Lapiccolo uh situation unmanned. But don't worry, someone
else jumped in because Ricochet entered the chata. So Nickpicolo said,
(02:11:13):
you can You can speak all you want, but nobody
respects your voice. And then uh then King Ricochet pulled
his finger out of wherever it was at that moment
to text the following, He's got three hundred and seven
k followers, so I'm pretty sure you're wrong about it.
But at least he gave you a bit of attention.
I'm sure that made you feel good about yourself. This
(02:11:34):
guy is a like a very wealthy agent of major
people in the industry.
Speaker 4 (02:11:42):
Let's take a second, though, This fucking fake nerd. And
when I say fake nerd, I don't mean like he's
a fake nerd. I mean he's a fake and a
nerd has never seen anything that vag Hubrison was an
actual sport in his life. So like, you wouldn't know
who this is.
Speaker 6 (02:11:58):
He's got three hundred and seven thousand followers. Why is
Ricochet coming out of the woodwork to run cover for
Dave Meltzer? Because this is ridiculous and who cares if
he's got through those to seven thousand followers, that doesn't
mean shit over here is doing a great job running
an agency.
Speaker 4 (02:12:19):
Because Dave is willing to stiff his finger. That's why.
Speaker 2 (02:12:23):
Yeah, mm hmmm, and then nick Lepiccolo just responds with
I'm not.
Speaker 4 (02:12:28):
Going yeah, I wish it was.
Speaker 6 (02:12:36):
Shout out nick Apolo. Uh so yeah, that was that one.
Speaker 2 (02:12:41):
But then Meltzer also commented on the seth Rollins injury.
So let's see what he had to say about that.
Speaker 4 (02:12:48):
Thinks that it's I.
Speaker 5 (02:12:49):
Mean, everyone's insisting that it's real.
Speaker 16 (02:12:51):
And John Paulk said what he said, and I tried
to get a confirmation from someone if but but no.
Speaker 2 (02:12:59):
But.
Speaker 6 (02:13:02):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, three times a day.
Speaker 5 (02:13:05):
John was mistaken and they would not say that.
Speaker 6 (02:13:09):
So it's like a prison call.
Speaker 2 (02:13:11):
Well there is also that's what it is, Dave Meltzer.
Someone is calling you from the Wrestling Observer correctional facility.
Speaker 6 (02:13:21):
You accept the charges, got three calls a.
Speaker 8 (02:13:26):
Day, which so I asked around a lot today as well.
And there were also people who listened to the show
last night, and uh, everyone is insisting that he's hurt. Okay,
everyone is insisting that he is hurt.
Speaker 9 (02:13:43):
Yeah, and we were told you.
Speaker 2 (02:13:46):
Could just hear the smarm coming off of albums.
Speaker 8 (02:13:49):
By the way, he was hurt and everyone's saying, yes,
he's hurt. And then there's also the John Pollock story. Well,
there is a third option which somebody today told me,
told me what happened. They say that what is what
(02:14:10):
is going on is the reason that these stories are
conflicting is because.
Speaker 6 (02:14:15):
He is hurt.
Speaker 2 (02:14:16):
But what happened on Saturday, Oh my god, Dave, let
him get the word out.
Speaker 6 (02:14:23):
Dude, he's worse than I am.
Speaker 2 (02:14:25):
He can't stand the fact that Brian has a scoop
that Dave didn't get. So he's trying to inject himself
in so that he can get it out before Brian's.
Then it sounds like it's his.
Speaker 8 (02:14:39):
They was a storyline meaning he is hurt, but he
did not get hurt match.
Speaker 2 (02:14:51):
On that spot.
Speaker 8 (02:14:52):
That spot was a cover for an injury that he has,
which he will have worked on. And they are in Birmingham,
and so the the idea that it was suggested was
he will be out of action for a little while,
but they're gonna say, like, you know, nine months or whatever.
Full they'll give this whole thing, but he will be
(02:15:12):
back much sooner than that. So actually that would that
that cover every base.
Speaker 2 (02:15:18):
That's why story line makes that. I'll just say that
exactly as I predicted, bro to you.
Speaker 6 (02:15:25):
Hear that much.
Speaker 9 (02:15:29):
That makes the most sense, because one of the things
I was told was, oh.
Speaker 2 (02:15:35):
Now suddenly you were told things you just said. You
just said that no one will return your call about this.
But well I was told But except for that one
time I was told, told me because Brian just told me,
I was.
Speaker 20 (02:15:53):
Told basically that the cash and come out of nowhere.
Speaker 2 (02:16:01):
Yes, yeah, oh the cash comes out of nowhere?
Speaker 9 (02:16:07):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (02:16:07):
What a what a what a novel concept? Right?
Speaker 4 (02:16:11):
Like, we haven't seen that for what twenty years?
Speaker 2 (02:16:15):
It's Edge.
Speaker 6 (02:16:18):
Fourteen ninety nine, dopes.
Speaker 2 (02:16:22):
War.
Speaker 8 (02:16:22):
Only they could say we weren't lying. He was hurt,
but he wasn't hurt on that spot, I you.
Speaker 6 (02:16:33):
Know, I mean it could be oh you've had enough.
Speaker 2 (02:16:40):
That was the end of the That was the end
of the cliff. But that's day forty.
Speaker 6 (02:16:57):
Wolf Child for one ninety nine.
Speaker 2 (02:16:59):
Does it occur to me that TK talks like he books? Yeah,
wild all over the place. Yeah all right, Well that's
all I got for this week, guys, So pending any
more super chats coming in, I think that that does
it for this week. So hold on, Regina Sharp checking
(02:17:19):
in for fourteen ninety nine. No one returns Dave's calls
I see what you did fourteen ninety nine. No one
returns to Dave's calls except the people who return his
calls after Alvarez feeds him the great scoop he just
discovered fourteen ninety nine.
Speaker 6 (02:17:33):
Please, Oh.
Speaker 2 (02:17:41):
So all right, awful watch tele find folks about your
YouTube channel and your ex and all that of the
fun stuff that you're up to.
Speaker 6 (02:17:51):
Boy, I've really got to get to work on my
YouTube channel, which is awful wrestling on YouTube. I gotta
come out with a video soon. But you can also yeah,
you can also check me out on the Twitter Twitter Machine.
A E w F you will wrestling and thank you.
Speaker 2 (02:18:12):
Thank you. Monkey Balls says for five dollars, Dave needs
to cut back on the hair dye. It's killing what
little brain cells has left.
Speaker 6 (02:18:22):
It'd be so funny, how you know. I'm accused of being, like,
you know, a geriatric online, but Dave Meltzer apparently he's
a spring chicken to a lot of these knuckleheads.
Speaker 9 (02:18:35):
