Speaker 1 (00:00):
Sit is going. Let me drop some shit like headlight.
I can't sleep. I've tossed some turn Camp's Kisa.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
And the dorm vising somebody's being turned.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Poor boys just staring at a New York I'm parannoying
stupid with my finger. Ain't trying to get sued. What's good?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Touchdowns and tangents here, Man coming in with the retro joint.
Shout out to everyone who has been messing with us
since day one. Touchdowns and tangents Thursday, nice spot NFL
takes topical tangents. I know it's Friday, but yeah, man,
it's Friday. So what's so Kenny we gotta talk about.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
We're actually incredibly close to like our exact nine year
anniversary date.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Yeah, it was like week three pretty much, but this
season started a little bit earlier than usual.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
But yeah, plus if you count when we did the
podcast on those other platforms, technically we've already hit the
nine year.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
But yeah, I didn't have my sounds, so DE started
to come into the to the original joint, and here
we are, Man week one behind us, push with Meil yep,
but Man week ones behind us. Overall, I was excited
as a Raider fan that they came out and won.

(01:24):
It wasn't pretty, but they willed their way to victory.
Genty showed what he's capable of. Give you a spurt
of it. Someone said he had like thirty eight yards
for the day, but forty four yards after contact or
something like that. Yes, he did so, Yeah, man, I was.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
I was excited about that. Overall. I kind of was.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Expecting more from camp Ward than his Week one thing.
But I'm not panicking. You know, he's a rookie to
take that team needs a lot of help, so I'm
gonna take it easy on him.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
I know.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
The talk of the week was your boy Caleb Williams.
All the media was hyping up that Monday night game.
I mean, some people said he played three good quarters.
Some people said he had one good drive, some people
said he had three good quarters. The ratings on Caleb
Williams Week one was all over the place. But yeah, overall,

(02:24):
anything else catch your eyke.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Any the Ravens defense, it's just soft.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Damn.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
They are great players, but they play soft. Because there's
no reason why you should be up forty to twenty five.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
And lose that game.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
I think unjustifiable. I think the floor is about to
fall out on Seattle a little bit. I mean not Seattle,
San Francisco. Oh yeah, it's already, it's already cap it.
They got some injuries and they lost in Seattle to
meet the Texans. Cardinals looked good, Like people thought, yeah,
that Rams finish was crazy because it came down pretty
much the last play. I mean, you got all those explosive,

(03:09):
physical guys on defense for fast athletic, they got effort,
attitude and technique, Like.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
What you get did that quote? You're right? Is that
what you would would have said? Yeah? Pretty much?

Speaker 3 (03:23):
But yeah, man, Moving the week two, we just had
the Thursday night game. The Commanders got smacked a little
bit by the Packers. I know you were high on
the Commanders, but I know a lot of the national
media was low on them, saying they won a lot
of close games last year because of Jaden, so it's like,

(03:47):
is he going to be able to capture that magic again?
And even so, the team probably took a little bit
step back, division probably took a little step forward.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
I think Michael Parsons was the difference in that Packers
for sure. I mean they had they gave up a
bunch of sacks, the Commander's old line still needs work,
and Jay can do a touchdown.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
They were saying.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
They were saying, it's a lot like when Aaron Donald
got En Dominican. Sue, like Rashad Gray and Sean Gary,
ra Shan Gary and Parsons. Mm hmm, it's that kind
of dude.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Plus, you know Eddrian Cooper is a really great linebacker.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah, he can blit, sue.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
They got great players at every level of that defense. McKenny.
You know Cooper, Parsons.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Josh jackoins to keep you in front of the chains.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Josh Jacobs exploded Frankie's face mask. Go back and look
at that touchdown.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Run my god, we got you got a bunch of
different receivers.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Yeah, no number one, but somebody's on.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
You got a quarterback who can spread the ball around,
throw a different sides of the field, make good reads,
good decisions.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Yeah, accurate.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
It's a very balanced and efficient offense.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
It's hard not to like Green Bay. But also it's
weak too.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Somebody said last year the Ravens popped the Raiders in
week or two.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Like, let's calm down.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
The Raiders did pop the Ravens yes, and that's how
the Bills, Oh Bills are off to reckuloss start. But
it's also like your defense gave up a lot of points.
Your defense gave up like two hundred yards rushing. You
shouldn't you should be kind of worried about.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
That, all right, you want to make some picks, go
for it, all right? This one comes from the audience.
Maxwell Owens shout out to Max. He wanted to know
between the who you got between the Bucks and the
Texan and the Chiefs and the Eagles.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
I got Eagles over Chiefs and I got Texans over
the Bucks.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
I think the Texans are not going to lose like
that again. I think they're gonna come back ready to win.
They're gonna be hungry for it. I think they squeeze
that one out. And the Eagles, I mean, the Chiefs
just got injuries right now this point of the season.
I think it just comes down to athletes more than

(06:30):
more so than execution.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
So for me, I think that's why I like the Chiefs.
I mean I like the Eagles.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Sorry, after what the Chargers did to the Chiefs, there's
no way I'm picking the Eagles to lose to them.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
And that worthy.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
That brings me to another game that I'm having trouble
picking Raiders Chargers for obvious reasons. I like the right
there's a lot, but they did have some holes. Man,
the Chargers, they were just rolling on all cylinders. We'll
see how they look now with basically a second a
second road game in a row. But what do you

(07:17):
think about that game? I think it's gonna come down
to whoever just comes out and establishes a run, which
to me, I think that's gonna be harball. And their
offensive line is better than the Raiders offensive line, so.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
At least at this point.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
My thing is, Uh, dude, Max Crosby got a shit
on the right tackle.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
That's all I know. He had old pimpkins. Yep, exactly.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
Tyree has to beat y'ae all at least once or
twice Devin White's ball. And the linebackers are playing their
best since Thomas Howard and Kirk Morrison. That's crazy, honestly.
So you factor that in, you just need interior pressure

(08:06):
and good run stuff and from the the tackles and uh,
you get to a point where hey, they you can
disrupt justin Herbert, do you just get.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Him off but bias the side. Do you feel like
it's the Chargers but the Raiders are also at home.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
So Gino threw for three hundred and what forty six Patriots.
When Gino airs it out, I trust him. When the
Chargers ain't really got corners.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Like that, They don't.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
They got Derwin James and he can only cover so
much of that field, and all it takes is like ours.
Bowers is probably gonna be covered by Derwin.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
James if he plays. I think he's on the injury board.
I think he's questionable.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
You can find a way to like scheme out to Lee.
You really just have to worry about Mac. He always
goes off against the Raiders. If he's going against DJ Glas,
it's over and JPJ has to really commit to be
the guard.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
He might get five of his ten sacks again against
US and then get another two against US.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
And honestly, they deserve it. He was a generational talent
for this franchise and you gave him away.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
And you didn't get nothing.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Rooding fucked the Raiders twice yep, three times, four times,
really five times ring honest because Ty Brady he was
talking about Derek Carr. All right, Cowboys came out by
the way, he was talking about Derek.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
Carr Cowboys Giants. That's a stinker, but Cowboys at home.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Cowboys are good.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
Two again Giants, hallo, Giants for the upset?

Speaker 1 (09:58):
All right?

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Like that, Steelers will be dable just win a game.
Seahawks playing DK Metcalf and I think I'm gonna go
with the Steelers are.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Going to hurt those boys. Steelers are going to hurt them.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Jets, Bills, Bills obviously, all right, you know what.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
We'll go Jets with the upset.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Okay, can he feeling a froggy today?

Speaker 4 (10:27):
I mean, Justin Fields played great, GARYL. Wilson got the ball,
scored a touchdown. Bears better defense, the Lions. Don't know why,
don't know what the hell the Lions are doing, But
it's the play.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Calling, ain't there? Oh? What else?

Speaker 4 (10:49):
Too good to be that bad?

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Ravens Bengals like the I mean Jaguars, Bengals, Jaguars Bengals.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
I'm going Bengals.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Jaguars got to actually do something with the Bengals too. Ravens, Browns, Ravens,
Ravens are going to muster up some righteous fury Detroit Chicago.
I gotta go Detroit at home, even though everyone's already
panicking about Detroit.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Okay, Ben Johnson is going to take advantage all the
holes in that defense.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
That's fair. I hear you bounce back game too, Uh,
New England at Miami.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
This is the eliminator Miamis. I think Miami's gonna lose
this game at home. I think Drake may Is gonna
have a career game.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
We can see.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Damn. Miami's a bad.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
Like now, now's the times for Mike Rabel, your physical
Mike Rabel would eat Mike mc daniel. I guess there's
no way he's He says like, I'm not losing to
this fucking Pip squeak with his capri pants and nowhere
no wearing socks. Yes, they're gonna send two to the
fucking Gulag Saint s Niner's. Actually, I'm worried for safety.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Saint s Niner's Saints.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
It's gonna be an ugly game. It's gonna be an
ugly game.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
I'm gonna go with the Niners. I think Christian mccafrey
is still playing, right, he gets hurt.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
What do they do? Rams? Titan's Rams and.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Kittle's out for like five weeks.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Uh, Panthers Cardinals with the you know what I'm gonna go.
I'm gonna go with Carolina.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
I'm going to Cardinals. Marvin Harrison Jr. Is still out there.
Will Johnson is already looking like a brilly elite corner
little the Raiders passed on Yes one time you want
a passion on Michigan corner and Charles Woodson told you
he was the truth and he passed me. Who was
the second round.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Pick this year? I don't even know. I can't even
tell you. Damn. Soone's backing up stairs. That's where they
got all them kids. Imagine listening to this podcast.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
I feel like I would get I would get the
ship and does the stick.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
I was like, I don't even do anything.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
They're like, nah, Falcons Vikings.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
In Minnesota.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
I want to say the Falcons because I just feel
like J. J. McCarthy Michael Pennock's the rematch from the
National Championship game.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
That's a good one.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
And now I got audio I gotta replay. I gotta
replay that audio. But now the way JJ McCarthy played
against the Bears after throwing the seventy four yard pick six,
and he came back and battled and just won and
just made smart plays. I have to go Vikings. He

(14:14):
got pretty much a rookie QB. And he's throwing Justin
Jefferson touchdown passes. Crazy, he's running in game winners himself. Yeah,
Vikings looking like a Super Bowl contender.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Crazy.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
It's all I needed was the QB.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
So you take back all the slander you gave JJ McCarthy.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
I mean I gave it. Here's the thing, he went
to a perfect situation. Now, had he gone somewhere and
they said you're gonna be our guy around, let you
sling and throw it, I'm like, he's never done that,
so that's risky. I always said he will not lose

(15:02):
the game for you, and that's what you want. I
never said he sucked and I said he was overrated
because people were like, I was like, what has he
done to put him out for Michael Pennick Jr. Or
even Bo Knicks, Because if I put other guys in
that offense, if I put Kayleb Williams on Michigan, I

(15:24):
guarantee you they're scoring more points. So that's that was
my thing. It's like some of these guys are in
situations that were advantageous.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Take away J. J.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
McCarthy's elite defense and tell me him and Cornelius Johnson
are out there gonna pass their way to a national
championship game. You feel what I'm saying. So that was
more of what it came from. But he proved everything,
Like everything about him is everything he did, So yeah,
I expect him to be good. We're gonna look back
and say this draft class was probably that draft class

(15:55):
is probably one of.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
The best.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
Crazy all right time for coasortable the only sound we have,
yeah in New Mexico out here whooping up on UCLA
crazy and heanda beat the Sycamores like seventy three to zero.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
And oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
So last week I was at the USC Georgia Southern Game.
Clay Hilton made his return, the last USC coach to
win the Pack to win a division title and a
Rose Bowl, and some of the people boot him crazy,
which is kind of really disrespectful because he didn't deserve that.

(16:42):
Lincoln hasn't won a division title at all since you know,
he has been at SC, so maybe let's not be
dicks about it. Oh yeah, and there's still not a
lot of people on the Rose Bowl for this game,

(17:05):
which is kind of crazy. Why you think about it, bro,
It's like ten thousand people and the Rose Ball and
New Mexico's up like fourteen to crazy at halftime. But anyway,
so yeah, usually played Georgia Southern. They got they got
over like three hundred yards rushing. They had like, I

(17:29):
think almost eight hundred yards of to the offense. It
was like seven to fifty seven or something like that,
some crazy ass number. But Kyle Lemon went off. He
had like four catches for like one hundred and fifty
eight yards, two touchdowns. H Jacobe Lane had probably one

(17:52):
of the greatest, probably the catch of the year. He
had a one handed catch in the end zone. Was
a fade route you just got. I took some I
took pictures of it, and I got video. It was
the coldest one handed catch. It was just so disrespectful,
like why should Jakobe lanm be a first round pick?
And you're just gonna play this tape of him going

(18:12):
up the dB was still it was past the apperience
because dB was holding him. He still reaches up with
the other side of his body in his hand and
just palms that shit. It was the coldest one handed catch,
one of the coldest one handed catches in USC history.
It's gonna go up there. He had like ninety one

(18:34):
yards in a touchdown.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Jadem Iva played outstanding again over real turnovers off the line.
But I mean, here's the thing, here's the catch. Right,
They're playing at Purdue on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Now.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
Fresno State had three hundred and fifty yards rushing on
the other Southern the week before last and this past
week USC had like three twenty or whatever. So they
weren't a good run defense team anyway. And if you

(19:13):
can look great to get the bad teams cool, it's
fifty nine to twenty. The defense, the past defense worries me.
The pass rushes there they have. They have some pass
rushers that are like showing themselves. But the past defense,
they need to lock up something. They can't have lapses

(19:36):
like that, especially because the good teams are gonna get killed.
So I'm gonna play the interviews now fresh with USQB
James Mava. Hold on, they'll turn up, turn the volume up.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Yah.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
All right, yeah, Jane, how proud of you of how
the anative lines kind of performed these these first two weeks.

Speaker 6 (20:22):
Or describe how proud I am. You know, they did
a great job, you know, trusting in the coaching staff.
One great team wins the next one.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Jan in all your years and developing.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
What do you feel like, especially after these two games
and this off season, that you've improved on the most.

Speaker 6 (20:39):
Definitely a lot to be made, but I think just
being able to trust in the coaching staff and the
Trojan family and my teammates, being able to go out
there and just want to take the bat in.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
All your years.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Okay, I now here's Deeves, Devan Braylan Shelby. As far
as act the third down defense compared to the last week,
how do you guys feel like you've done so far.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
We've got a great job so far.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Our third down mentality super different this year and we're
trying to get out of that quarterback each and every
single time. So uh, you know, going out there and
executing our our plays to like the best officially as
we can, you know, and getting all of my dogs.
They're doing a great job after like see you know where.
But we're going to seven.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
As far as act the third down defense, compared you
guys had about almost eight hundred yards of offense in
the past two we's pretty much lead the country and
like Russell Dunchtown. So when you go through inside offense
had the offensive line. You know every week and every
day in practice.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
How has that made you guys better and better seen
every day?

Speaker 2 (21:48):
You see as dogs and uh, you know, we appreciated
him every day. We think leasing every day for getting
us better, get us ready for the game. I mean, man,
you see him go out there and play like that
on the field.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
You know that.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
I think the best of the best of the world
come to La, the best of the world coming usc
So to be able to see I think just until
the dam.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
I mean it's everything. Man.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
You guys the way that they ran a couple of
different trick plays tonight, how do you guys feel like
the overall I discipline was you know when that happened,
especially one of them was a touchdown, but you shout
a lot of them down.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Yeah, we practiced a lot of chick plays, I'd say
so kind of when it comes to it's just really
like you said, just playing your eyes yours because is
in those street players that people lose the man, they
do the track of the things that you know she
is on downfield open.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
So I feel like we've been doing a great job
at that really just paying officiality details the way that
they were.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
This next one is a tight end walking lines. He
had like a fifteen yard touchdown catch. USC had no
touch no tight ends catch touchdowns last year. Now they've
had crazy they'd crazy USC stuff. Yeah, and they have
like three or four of them touchdown a walk on
caught the touchdown walker.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
Call on on and.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
Uh the main time in Lake McCrery call one. So
here you goes.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Communication.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
What's the communication been like with the online especially you
guys pretty much have like well over ten Russian touchdowns
or two games.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Yeah, what's that like?

Speaker 7 (23:17):
I mean, we we're trying to take pride and it
seems that can be physical, especially in the big time.
We're trying to established that we can run football and
so the old line hasn't been making great calls for us,
and we're trying to get our nose and physical as well.
And I think something in UH as tight ends, you
take pride and you take pride in physicality that we're

(23:38):
gonna block and we're gonna put our face and and
and really get into it. And so I think I'm
just trying to establish that mentality in our whole in
our whole room, not even just tight into it, insider
seams as well, just really established.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
That we can be blocked. What's the.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
So, yeah, they're playing at Purdue, but who already has
twice as many wins as they had last season under
new coach Barry Odom or two and zero. One of
those teams was an FCS school Division two pretty much.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
But yeah, so.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
One thing about Barry odam teams is they are well coached.
They will be put in position to make plays. It's
just up to them to make the players or not.
And they're actually going up against a team that has
a legitimate run game. They don't see how they handle
tempo and you know mesh concepts and running back wheel
routes and you know seam routes and all that, because yes,

(24:39):
the Carlos Nicholson got an interception, but you know, getting
Nickels and Dime down the field, you have better athletes
than the other team like that, you don't want to
make that a habit. So yeah, I think USC probably
might might be a forty to twenty one kind of game.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
What did you make of Oklahoma pop in Michigan? I
mean they got they got a great defense. Their corners
look at spectacular. The offensive line is clearly better. When
I talked to Gerald Occoy, he made it be known
he's like off the line last year was terrible.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
Actually much better this year. And the key I was like, y'all,
you guys keep a stable running backs, so running the
ball definitely better. Mat Tiers just has to, you know,
be more fishing in the passing game. Got they gotta
really put teams away because they can't play like they
did against Michigan against Texas because they had a Michigan

(25:44):
had a true freshman QB. Brush Underwood, and he was
getting after his teammates too. But he played bad against
a really great defense. So that's what great defense do
to you, that make you play bad.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
All right. So I'm gonna give you a game.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
You just tell me why should care, and then tell
me who you like or what you're looking forward to see.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
All right. So we got Florida and LSU.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
LSU has to win this game because South Florida came
into the swamp and dog.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Walked a Florida. Florida was ranked.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Yes, they're ranked thirteenth in the country, so you're just
giving up on them. Yeah, Napier might get fired. DJ
looks good at times. DJ Lagway looks good at times.
With that offense is sputtering. The defense already has players
on but LSU has so many receivers corners the defense

(26:45):
is playing. I mean, I just don't like Brian Kelly
coach teams because it's Brian Kelly.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
South Florida and find ways to choke.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
But I think with nuss Meyer and the receivers in
that offense, I think they they should make slight work
of Florida, South Florida in Miami. South Florida. I got
South Florida running through the state of Miami. I'm your
state of Florida. They gotta do it. You gotta beat
the U. Just beat Florida, now you gotta beat the U.

(27:16):
You booked on Boyse State too. I don't think so
Florida State don't want that smoke.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
But I think play f I U FAAU.

Speaker 4 (27:27):
Probably Let me look at their schedule crazy.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Georgia, Tennessee George six at number fifteen.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
It's not really going to be close Georgia real and
if it is close, both these teams are washed because
Georgia has all that five star talent. There's zach Rye
Branch who's looking like you should have just state of
the see honestly because they're not utilizing you either Georgia.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
His brother.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
It definitely could have been a start in safety. You
think Bama gets back this week against Wisconsin. It's Wisconsin though,
m hmm, this game don't really count.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Fair enough play somebody we.

Speaker 4 (28:16):
Think you can be lose to take your tangent touch, Yeah,
let's go take your tangent.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
First, all right. The first one I go with is.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
This week on Monday Night, we got a classic on
the belt.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
We got.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
Jim harbaughn taking on Pete Carroll. Uh, there's six and
six versus each other all the time. Pete Carroll has
beat him five or last six times.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
But and he has a Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
You know, Harborn famously popped USC in two thousand and seven.
In two thousand and nine, which by the way, I
just learned it's Stanford Cardinal not Cardinals.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
Yeah, yeah, crazy, well they suck right now.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Stanford sucks ass right.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
Now football, I know, But take your tangent on a
Harbor and Pete Carroll facing off on Monday Night, I
think first time in Pee.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
Carroll made a joke about it, and it's funny, how
like it's respect, but there's clearly just competitive hatred there,
mostly on Harbor's part, and Carol's like, I'm all right,
motherfucking what's crazy?

Speaker 1 (29:37):
I'm just all's in. So what's crazy is maybe flash back.

Speaker 4 (29:41):
To USC when I was putting up seventy on people.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
In the third Carbo said he would love to play
for Pee Carro or with Pe Carrol, and Pee Carroll agreed.
He said that they said a birthday cards, but they
both share Yeah, that shit was funny, but they both
kind of share that that spirit of competition.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Something really what it comes down to, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
They're just two different kinds of competitive psychos and you
kind of gotta respect it.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
They're like Goku.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
Vegeta, yeah, basically, and who's Goku and who's Vegeta?

Speaker 4 (30:09):
Obviously obviously Pete Carroll's Goku. Yes, obviously he's the main
character crazy. He's a Hall of fame college coach, and
arguably you could say he might be a hall of
fame NFL head coach. Arguably, I don't know. You probably
can't answer this one, so I'll just do it. But

(30:32):
NFL red Zone has adds.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Some fans have liked it, some people have hated it,
some people don't care.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
Take your tangent.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
I'm gonna say this isn't the whole point of getting
red zone, the fact that there is no ads. I mean,
if you want to put it on audio or something,
or I don't know, I add some premium version of it,
I don't know, make more me that way, don't dilute

(31:03):
the original product that people love so much. Honestly myself,
I'm not a big red zone guy, but I like
having it on as a second or third screen just
because it's good for fantasy purposes.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
But I would still prefer to watch.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
One or two full games. But that's just me, all right, Uh,
you got one, Kinny, So.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
Double back to your point. So USF is actually ranked
eighteenth and Miami's ranked fifth, and they're the last ranked
team they play off season. They do play Memphis in
Florida Atlantic, Okay, so it's like the toughest part of

(31:52):
their schedule and they're all non conference games. So if
they can go three, know, here. You kind of have
to play playgall player. All right, I hear you back
to take your tanghent, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
That's all right, I got one.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
I gotta take. Jeremes Winston feels like he's still started
in the NFL, even though he's pretty much relegated to
being the third QB on the Giants who suck Jamis
should be a starter in this league. So what are
you asking? I'm asking you, do you do? You gotta
take your tange on him saying he still believes he

(32:31):
can be a starter.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
I mean, I agree the very least.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
You know, he's gonna move the ball and get the
ball out, you know.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
M hm.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
He might not be a top ten guy, but I
think if you put enough around him, he could be
a top twelve, top fifteen guy. And if you have
a good enough team, I think that's good enough to
be a wild card playoff team.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:54):
I just I want to see him on the Dolphins,
And honestly.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
I Canelo and Terrence Crawford take your tencent.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
Fight is happening in Vegas, which is crazy, and there's
only so many NFL stadiums of that host boxing events.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
And it's also going to be streamed on Netflix.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Which this is netflix first boxing production, and it's Stana
White's first boxing production.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
No, they had the uh.

Speaker 4 (33:28):
Mike Tyson things streaming and that ship was kind of spotty. Nah,
but this is through a different company. Okay, so it's
not It wasn't TKO last time ko.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
Well, bottom line is Canelo's getting like one hundred and
fifty million and Terance Crawford is only getting like ten.
So already fucked Canelo for that because last time I checked,
he beat the dog shit out of Earl Spence. He
ain't run from nobody chance. Crawford beat everybody in front
of him and has a much better resume than can

(34:00):
Canelos ducking Benafitez and a couple other people. And you know,
we didn't forget about the whole Mexican meat thing because
you can't keep saying, oh, with the Mexico something. And
then I popped for steroids. How come your whole gym
pops for steroids, Canelo? Why did your whole gym pop
for steroids? Funk out of here? Bro, He's people want

(34:22):
to talk about Mayweather. Canelo became everything you guys hat
in boxing. You just don't want to admit it.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
Yeah, I agree with what you're saying, but you ain't
trying to get no Mexican girls for foreseeable future. That's
all I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
First off, he a white Mexican. Don't didn't get me started.
Not all Mexicans.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
Half of Mexicans they watch his fights. It's Mexican independent watch.

Speaker 4 (34:56):
I know too many of my Mexican homies who don't
rock with what Canelo been doing like the last five
six years, and the fact.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
They say that, but they watched his fights and keep
his pockets full.

Speaker 4 (35:05):
So of course because you pay, because like if he loses,
all right, well it was worth the money. If he
If he wins, well shit, I got to kick with
my people and eat some food and drink some whatever.
But like no people have splintered on on him in
recent years. Those are just facts.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Now.

Speaker 4 (35:26):
If he wins, this is probably the biggest win of
his career, because this is probably the best boxer he's
faced his whole career, and it just so happens. These
are the circumstances.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
I just hope it's a good fight. I still I
still like, I just want to classific that's all. I want.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
Classic fight with some knockdowns, go to decision. Well, we'll
see twelve rounds slugging it out. I mean, Crawford's a
pretty you mean crawfor Csycho from Nebraska. Just the way
he's grown up in his life, like it's crazy, like
he's he Definitely there's a man who has walked a
path that most people I don't think would volunteer to take,

(36:06):
even if you could guarantee the money he's getting.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
But I just think it's a great It's fun for me.
It's like finally a great fight that I wanted to
see five years ago.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
Pretty much, it's like finally.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
Like the promoters are fucked up boxing to the point
where influencers have better cards than some of these promotions.
But the one thing I will say is I'm always
gonna take Canelo's side over de la Hoya. With all
the bullshit De la Joya have been doing Canelo's right
to not get away from Golden Boy and have his
own shit.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
All right, Moving on, touchdown on turnover, Let's keep this
one quick because I got a lot, all right, man.
First up, they say Travis Hunter is gonna play more defense, touchdohunter.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
Turning over Travis hunder.

Speaker 5 (37:06):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
I mean, I guess that's a touchdown. I think.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
Somebody gonna is gonna get turnovers though, because everyone says
he breaks on the ball, but is he doing that
at this level? I mean, don't put Jamar Chase. All right,
they're playing the Bengals, right, Don't leave Jamar Chase on
Travis Hunner. Don't do that to that man.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
You're gonna get this whole confidence cook. Don't don't do
that to him. Don't put him in that position.

Speaker 4 (37:34):
Don't do that to him. Put him on t Higgins, sure,
but not in the red zone. Like, don't do that
to him. Put Tyson Campbell. Leave Tyson Campbell, you know,
to do with the four to three speed former Georgia Corner.
Leave him on on Chase. Do not put that man

(37:55):
and that that young man in that predictament.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
All right.

Speaker 3 (37:59):
The bronc it was revealed new stadium plans for twenty
thirty one touchdown or turnover.

Speaker 4 (38:03):
I don't care about the Denver Donkeys, but good for them.

Speaker 3 (38:06):
I guess, yeah, it's fair touchdown, but I'd still like
the go to game. In my eye, it's a classic venue,
all right. The Niners signed Kendrick Bourne. He played with
them like two years ago, right went to the Patriots,

(38:27):
didn't pan out. Now he's back touchdown and turnover.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
I mean they need all the receiver, hope they can
get everybody hurt.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
The Niners also cut Jake Moody. The Bears quickly signed
it in touchdown or turnover. I don't know why the
Bears would do that. Do you just want bad corner?
There's good kickers.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
Take three?

Speaker 3 (39:03):
All right, computer won't shut off this time? Hopefully shout
out to the power.

Speaker 1 (39:07):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
Anyways, fairy faid, Kenny, where the funk were we? What
was the last fairy fade?

Speaker 4 (39:15):
It was past the we were past the Canelo.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Thing, fair faid? What we're talking about? I do not remember.

Speaker 3 (39:30):
I can't stand up, hold and look at my phone
for the rundown, So I don't know what to do
with I don't know what was on your phone.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
All right, well let's just call it the show. Just
give your right.

Speaker 4 (39:45):
Yeah, so, rest of Peter, prayers up for all those
kids you got potentially hurt in that school shooting in Colorado.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Yeah for real.

Speaker 4 (39:55):
Of course, there are more important things than you know,
a Nazi dying and people trying to cry because yeah,
he literally, Charlie Kirk literally was pro kids being blown
up in war torn countries.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
He bragged about it.

Speaker 4 (40:11):
He said executions should be public. And guess what his
execution was public by a white kid named Tyler Robinson
whose own father turned him in. And not only that,
kids twenty two shooting like that at twenty two. Yeah,
the government gonna take him, They're gonna make him an assassin.

(40:31):
He ain't gonna certain no jail time for this.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
So oh, that's where we were talking about.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
Chadout trustinko man speaking of fades, running.

Speaker 1 (40:43):
A fade with James Harrison, fair fade.

Speaker 4 (40:47):
Yeah, Chad Johnson ain't no coward, so I'm not.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
I just think I think James Harrison like you gotta
run his dog. We're not scared of you. Like that.

Speaker 3 (40:57):
Dan and White didn't want to produce it though, like
bro Come Home had the most he was had the
most racist broadcast crew.

Speaker 4 (41:05):
Somebody would have been making monkey noises.

Speaker 1 (41:09):
Dude that all they know.

Speaker 4 (41:11):
White beat his wife in public and everybody gave him
a pass.

Speaker 1 (41:15):
Everybody can kiss my ass.

Speaker 3 (41:16):
Speaking of that beat his wife, and we all want
the league investigating Tyreek Hill because of TV violations.

Speaker 1 (41:29):
All right, take motherfucking for do a fucking speed race
through this ship.

Speaker 3 (41:38):
That's a drop, but uh yeah, man touch his attentions,
fair fait.

Speaker 4 (41:43):
Hey I got Chad Johnson over. Uh you talked about
being a tough guy. You didn't last past one bullet.
You probably didn't live long enough to realize.

Speaker 3 (41:53):
Yes, I don't even know how much of that ship
came out, but uh yeah, we're just gonna patch whatever
we got together.

Speaker 4 (42:00):
So crazy work and they realize the people they're trying
to fire for talking about Charlie Kirk, it's like, you know,
he has actual hate speech, like Nazi racist propaganda.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
So if you is crazy, and then if.

Speaker 4 (42:13):
You co sign that, well now we know you're a
Nazi apologist.

Speaker 1 (42:18):
Get it.

Speaker 3 (42:19):
Like I said, if you want to sympathize for someone
being killed like that in daylight as kids they depend on.
But like you said, can't give racists please, and you
definitely can't just make martyrs of.

Speaker 1 (42:32):
Them just because of that like y'all want to do.
That's been on record for years saying, wow.

Speaker 4 (42:36):
Shit, lack the intellectual capabilities to actually you know, be successful,
called black men dogs ain't no sympathy over here, by
the way, you didn't even believe in sympathy. What else

(42:56):
do you what do you gotta say? Find a way
to make it through the week. Man, life's tough, but
you know, you just got to ride out. You really
got to ride out the good times of the bad times,
because with the bad times, you're just there.

Speaker 1 (43:15):
It's not permanent. It'll be okay.

Speaker 4 (43:20):
Protect yourselves though, and if you're black, be hyper visuals
of the white people around you and the non white
people around you this week, just going forward, because they're
gonna find a way to make this black people's fault.
So yeah, be safe out there.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
All right.

Speaker 3 (43:37):
Well for me, man, Excited for my team to take
the field this next weekend. Excited that I'll actually get
to watch the Raiders game on Monday and the grill.
But yeah, man, the OC Trojans lost last week, got popped.
But we played really really hard against the best team

(43:59):
in California and on the rope zero to zero in
the third quarter. But yeah, shit popped off and went
in fortune nothing. So we're trying to get some get
back this week. Goals are still in front of us.
Excited for the Guillotine League. Even though I started a
week late, we were able to filip the whole thing,

(44:21):
so I decided to donate his trophy. Excited for that,
see how it goes, even though it might be the
first to get eliminated, but uh yeah, that'd be crazy.
That's probably the title. Can you get eliminated from your
own show? From your own league? Anyways, it's Touchdowns and
Tangents TV's underscore Tangents Touchdowns at tangents dot com.

Speaker 1 (44:44):
We're out. Peace.

Speaker 4 (44:51):
Peace,
