Abia State Government Should Act Beyond Words

On Tuesday evening there was an attack on northerners in Abia State. 8 lost their lives. This is not the first time recorded in the south east where attacks that bear marks of profiling and ethnic disharmony is suspected. Criminals are leveraging on our diversity to achieve parochial objectives.

Justice must be seen to be done. Also, it is imperative that regions or groups affected should exercise restrain employing constitutional provisions to seek redress. Nigeria will someday grow out of this we pray. The onus lies on regional heads and political leaders with the most vested interests.
