TRI-County Family Quilt Project

Tri-County Family Quilt is the project that during the Covid 19 pandemic allowed children and their families to meet social-emotional needs, such as the lack of connection that students may have missed due to online learning, restricted school relationships, and insufficient socialization among children. The Quilt Project allowed connections between families and their environment through art and storytelling, plus many more benefits that you will learn about by listening to the episode.

The families who participated in the project spent time together expressing their love, learning and growing together. All of the pieces of quilts were assembled and displayed at the Charleston Children's Museum. A living exhibit that represents the harmony of the cultures around us, generational knowledge and togetherness. This episode wants to be a testimony of the voices and stories around this project.
