This week we take the show on the road to Marshall's Marine for the NWTF banquet. But it's also time to find that new boat. We discuss all the new models in stock and some of the great specials, including the Yamaha special running through March 31st. Lots of great fishing reports and we talk about the new Garmin Panoptix going on the bow of Capt. E's Key West Boats 230 Bay Reef. It is always a great time to do the show out on remote and their is always some technical difficulties. This week was no exception and we hope through all the chaos you enjoy the content on this weeks show.

(02:40):

would, But now that he has, they don't. Yeah, listen,
now that he's been on a stand, there's definitely a reason that he did
get take to stand. Yeah,it didn't hurt him. I don't think
so far. No, no,no, but wow, it's entertaining,

(03:02):
to say the least. It's amazing. Just turn on like you know,
you flip over to CNN. He'son there, He's you know, he's
on like every channel. It's crazy. It's sad. It's a sad story.
I mean, we're not making funof that. Watch the documentary on

might watch the sentencing or the Birdiet, but I'm not watching any more of
it. That's it. You're done. No, man, dude, I've
had too many dreams about Was itoyster dreams? No, it was not
about oysters. You had oyster I'lltell you what, Chris Henry seven CC
food What a great time. Ohmy goodness, man, that was a

(03:45):
blowout pre COVID. Remember we hadone, that's right, uh, pre
COVID. And then they took sometime off and last night they had their
oyster Fest. It was it oysterFest, no doubt. Great food,
great music, Josh Brand awesome inthe background. I mean a lot of
times you think it's a radio playingwith him. Yes, it was good,
Yeah, it was good. RushRuss had a blast. I had

(04:06):
fun too, man, he wasrunning around one hundred miles an hour.
You and I had a great time. We had him wonderful time talking with
Carter Weaver. It's right. Hetold me to stopped calling him sheriff.
Sheriff. Yeah, I you know, I mean he is, Uh,
he's genuine, but he's a realperson. He is. He's a great
man. He's a real person, rifect guy. I'm glad to have that
guy in charge of UM of LawEnforcement. I don't live in Georgetown County,

(04:30):
but you know, it makes adifferent a ton of time here.
Yeah, it makes a difference. It makes a difference. And uh,
you know again, he normally wouldbe here tonight for the WTF banquet,
but he's not gonna make it thisevening unfortunately. But we are going to
be here and we are going tohave a blast. And uh they sold
out like three weeks ago doo, yeah, maybe even longer than that.

(04:51):
Yeah, and Chris and I havebeen talking about every couple of nights and
man, they got some great Rappaitems, great auction items. Um ye,
did I tell you about the CostaRica house? No? Yeah,
I think it's a six bedroom ora five bedroom house in Costa Rica.
Five couples. You think about agreat deal, that's the way you do

(05:11):
it. That's going on live auction. How to do your game plan for
that and make sure you got youryour your, your, your people lined
up and ready to go for that. Man, that's going on live auction.
Um but man, all the gunsyou want, it's gonna look like
a small militia. And the Idon't even think I'm gonna bother bidden on
him. This year, we didn'thave a chance, Oh chance in the
world. Yeah, I can't waitto it. And we were pulling our

(05:34):
resources too, We were, wewere we pulled on that one. Huh
Yeah, oh well we didn't.We didn't have much love. But you
gotta do. I got one,I got one coming. You's got to
get some construction done to it.Um new custom aar Man, that things

(05:55):
beautiful. I shared it over onTrilogy Outdoors. The Sarah Coat and Guidd
a awesome job on it. Um. I'm looking forward to getting that thing
completed this week and might have itready to go to Florida in two weeks
m and maybe shoot a hog downthere or something with it there you go,
might shoot a turkey. You know, you could shoot a turkey down
there with a rifle, can't you. Yes, it's terrible. I would

(06:18):
never shoot a turkey with a rifle, mark my word on that. Well,
they wouldn't shed the dag on ashot like they do sometimes with a
shotgun. Were No, but youain't got much left when you do hit
him, Yeah, especially with him. If you've ever seen a video of
it, it's not pretty. Itis it is. It is not pretty.
But they don't want that when youmake it. I guess you know
you want that whole bird sitting onthe center of the table. That's right,

(06:39):
you know Norman walked Rockwell painting stylebird. You know. Now,
let's talk about where we started. So this morning we started in a beautiful
oh Mann tune, that's what.Yeah. When the circus got to town
here, Yeah, we were readyto do the show from a boat.
We set up in the back ofthe showroom there in a beautiful boat it's
got. He had all set up, I mean perfect where he had us

(07:00):
on pure luxury we had in areal boat show. Yeah, we were,
but we were a little too farfrom Wipie. We just couldn't get
a strong enough signal. So youshould have seen it was it was.
It was like, you know,it was like Starkers come to town.
Man three of us dragging all thisequipment over here to the living room,
you know, and I think Tonyfigured out some way to sabotage us.
Is that right? He wanted tobe right here in front of this TV

(07:23):
when bass Fishing Coach is not evenon. No, but he wants to
be here when the TV when bassFishing comes on. Yeah, we finally,
that's right because we've had some sortof malfunction with the studio TV.
Yep, yep, that's right. There is some function going There was something,
some malfunction going on there. Weneed to get an to get Adam
on the hat. We need toget that TV working and to get a
sponsor for it again. Come on, Adam, remember we used to have
a TV sponsor. Oh my gosh, we did, didn't huh. Bastlor's

(07:45):
Gentleman's Club. That's oh God,that's right. Was our a TV star
sponsors sponsor anything? Man? Yeah, yeah, I forgot. Yeah you
can. You can if you want, if you're interested, you can sponsor
our our hats. I mean youcould, you could be. You can
sponsor anything on the show. Orwall bottles yea. Or Jenna's looking for
a sponsor for her shaking drink whateverthat thing is. God, we're all

(08:09):
sitting here waiting for that moment becausey'all can't hear it. But Jenna,
when we're on remote, has tomix her drink really loudly right in front
of the mic. So we're allsitting here talking and it's like, Okay,
what's going on back there? SuperJena getting ready to drink some of
her vitamin water whatever it is.Yeah, drinking all good stuff. But
I'll tell you what we're gonna We'regonna have quite a few from Marshall's join

(08:30):
us. Sit down. We're gonnatalk different things, from service to boats.
And I'll tell you one thing. If you're looking for a boat,
they got them right here. Theygot all the choices you need. Um
pontoons, skiffs, high tides againto my tide, Lee rollings boats are
beautiful. We were there loss outthere. They've got I think three out
there, Pour, I think threeor four are your four out front,

(08:52):
all different callers, different styles yep, side console, center, console,
tiller, stiller, steers, yep, Lee got it. Lee, And
I love the swamp buggy right here. I didn't even see that. Oh
look at that thing with that extendedmud murder motor. Yeah yeah, I
can see you going through myurles Inletwith those things are loud, they are
really loud. Well there, they'reair cooled, correct, Tony, Yes,

(09:15):
there are air cooled trying to interruptyou over there, so wake up,
you know, I don't know.You know, I've seen quite a
few people in the inlet with those. I've seen them. I've seen a
guy before. Yeah, and thatin one of those. That's like what
the guy's in the concept there's aswamp people. Oh yeah, well yeah,
but the concept is a great idea. I just think it's overkilled for
merles Inlet. But yeah, thatwould be a wonderful North Inlet boat.

(09:37):
Yeah. Yeah, I'm not gonnasend people there with it, but still
I think it is. It's agreat idea. Because you can get to
the places where you can't get witha normal right you know, if you
hit the bottom, you just justkeep going. Yeah, just keep going.
Oh yeah, I mean I've saidthat's what I mean. I've seen
some crazy videos where they run yardsone hundreds of yards never aren't even in
the water. I saw Guy Merlesin it. This is years ago,

(10:00):
and he was cutting across the grass. Yep, dude, I just noticed
that new tide water back there.Did you see the big the big thirty
haven't you've seen him? Oh mygod, yea when we got a couple
interviews. Uh, that thirty twotide water is beautiful. Don't have to
check it out. Wow, Ilike that. I like that tidewater that's
over there in the in the shortOh man, look at the falcon and

(10:20):
the skeeter right there. I'm intelling you fast boats, whatever it is,
you won't we got it right here. And uh, bass fishing is
pretty popular. In case you haven'tnoticed. Don't invited me to go bast
fishing. I heard that. Ipicked up on that. Yeah. I
don't even own a bash rod.You don't need one. You will when
I'm done with you, Tony willpiece together something. He's got to get

(10:43):
you one. Yeah, I don'tknow if you want him fishing with one
though you may not get it.May be back going like going back to
the days of early fishing bass withme. I got a boy, you
spend forty of them. I gotsomething. I can let him destroy it.
There you go, you better makeit destroyable. I'll tell you what
the grain stream been. We've beenbefore, you know. Oh I told
him, Yeah, I told him. I said, dude, we uh

(11:03):
you know, we pished stamp itso the tree limbs were and I fished.
Uh. I mean, look,I fished with Brady and a couple
of the thirty night tournaments back inthe day. Yeah, y'all, y'all,
Yeah, y'all fished. Was thatfishing y'all were doing or wasn't catching?
That's a darn sure. Submit justwouldn't a fish. I'll tell you

(11:24):
what. The story of the mulletthat got slammed against the seawall by the
bass is the best. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that
I remember. I'll never forget thatstory because but between the two of you,
it's like y'all had seen a ghost, no doubt. I mean y'all
were both just amazed at that bassslammed that big mullet up against the seawall.
Oh man, that was that thatone trip up. One of the

(11:46):
terms that when that jet ski cutin front of Mike and I talked about
seeing a ghost, we thought wewere going to create a ghost that day.
That boy was like, man,he I don't know if he was
trying to commit suicide or what, but we had to shut the motor and
we had to stop the boat, shutting the motor off, and you're like,
you know, let our heart ratego back down. It was so
close, you know, this weatherand him had one of those during a
tournament where Aki come around a corner. He was going too fast and he

(12:11):
had to go between us and thebank at about seventy Yeah. Yeah,
you know it's about time too thatfor us to have our good buddy Tommy
beginning back on. We were talkingabout him earlier, having back on to
talk about because although people think springstarted this week, we're not a spring
yet. Well the weather you thinkso with all the pollen. Yeah,

(12:31):
and if you if you don't notice, between all of us, I think
we all kind of sound a littlebit stuffy headed. But yeah, have
Tommy on. Let's talk safety andtalk everything. Get everybody up to par
on anything and everything they need inthe boat, and uh getting into the
season. It's here. I mean, that's what Tommy does best. Office.
Tommy does be talking about safety.Sure can't talk about fishing. He

(12:52):
does an incredible job. You betterease up on him. You better eats
up on him, Tommy. Ifyou try to run all trip and come
home, he's listened, he's listed. You'll be here when you get here,
I'll play goalie. Hey, oldbroke rod. All I got to
say is this much I turned That'sthe guy you better bring your junk equipment
for. Yeah. Yeah, youknow you know one thing I'll tell you

(13:16):
this week? Are you talking aboutTommy? I forgot about the broken rod?
Yeah, we love you. Hedid catch you. That was amazing.
So it was a nice fish. And that was live on Facebook.
That's right, we were live onFacebook. So this week I turned down
an opportunity that I am going tomake up for it, that is to

(13:37):
have fished with one of our fisheads. I want y'all to what, yep,
one of our fishheads fish with FredRourke this week who that went to
north Endlet wanted to go learn northEndlet spent some time and his name is
cheap Joe Hill. Oh yeah, yeah, I'll tell you what. That's
the Oory County Police and a loyal, loyal listener to the radio Showy And

(13:58):
unfortunately I was just too much goingon. So did they have any luck?
I Sarah Lake They had a greatday out there, although they didn't
catch any fish hunt. I thinkthey did, kid. I thought it
was great day. It was moreit was more here. It was more
teaching him how to take that Marshall'sGreen boat that he owns, because he's
a Marshall's Green customer through north Endlandsafely. He wants to you know,

(14:20):
he he's like a lot of us. He's tired of those uhat populated waters.
No, he's so um. Hewanted to get a lesson. And
I like that was terrific for thatman. Like I've said before, I
don't know I've been best way todo it seemed to hire a guide.
I don't care who. You hirea guide, Take them with you on
the boat. Go on the boatwith them, go learn it. Jason

(14:43):
and I talked about it he had. They had a couple this week the
boys did Atmirals and that fishing charters. But hire one of these guys,
get them out there. They're gonnahelp you in a lot of different ways.
First and foremost, they're gonna they'regonna teach you a lot about the
fishing. But secondly you're gonna learnabout locations. And thirdly, you might
realize that you bought way too muchtackle and you look like Tony's boat instead
of not having to have all thatwhen he's got all this tackle in that

(15:05):
bass boat and you know what heliterally fishes with like six lures. Well,
now he knows I'm being honest, you're talking about fifty two years of
tournament fishing. Well, I can'thear him, Lave. You got the
same lures. And if you remember, I'm the guy that used to carry
the suitcase sized tackle box. Youknow, I was just looking at that
big life jacket thing that holds sixlife jackets. That would have been a

(15:28):
good That's about the size of mybox of tackle box for Kenny right there.
I used to be. Now Igot the little one man I've because
I've realized that tackle box was asurvival kit truly. I mean I had
everything in that thing, man,you I mean, you can drop me
off on a desert island in themiddle of nowhere and I could survive with
that tackle box. But I realizedI don't need all that. You know,
later I want to talk about thatthing was heavy too, man,

(15:50):
the new two thirty. I gotin it this week and UM was just
looking over some things and noticed itin the back rear port. Hat.
I have nothing in it for thefirst time. I have no pump,
no battery switches, no nothing.I have the entire So I'm gonna find
a tackle system that is trays likethe bass guys do I want to put

(16:15):
it in there and then have thewaterproof cases in it and have my stuff
in there instead of putting it downstairsin the thing in those little pouches.
Well that's an awesome now where theydo move the batteries to The batteries have
always been under it, but whatthey've done is the pump for the power
pole goes on one side and rememberwe've had two also in the past.
But then the battery switches, UMhave been on the other side. So

(16:40):
now my battery switches on the sideof the console, which is where we
did not mind seven and the chargingport is there for the onboard charger,
and I have nothing in that onecompartment. It's great, it really is.
So I want to set up atackle system back there with more organizers
so I can have know inshore Spanish, you know, different little things in

(17:03):
there, so they're in the boatat all times because right now I have
to pull things out put them in. But well right now I don't even
know. I ain't been fishing.I've not put one hour on that boat,
not a minute, not a minute. We're gonna have to fix that,
Yeah, we are. We've beengrowing this week and he has been
breaking it in for four days. But Murdoch, Murdoch. But that's great.

(17:23):
This week it will be at TelRace Canal one day. Got My
deadline is here. My deadline isFriday for the magazine for the TV show
for um uh, Let's Fish TV. That's the name of the show TV.
Well, I better get the practicingor I'm gonna call it something else.
Yeah, uh yeah, for Let'sFish TV. My first episode has
to be in by the second sowe need we need to go to break

(17:48):
super generations, all right, well, let's go to break. It sounds
like a great idea, general,And when we come back, I'll tell
you what. We're gonna be talkingwith Marshall's guys. They're getting set up
and everything, and then we're waitingon Chris Wilson to get here. We'll
talk with him a little bit.But in the meantime, we got it.
We've got he's here. Oh,he's finally here. We've been standing
there in the next week. Let'slet's talk about next week because there are

(18:08):
still tickets available for Cca next weekand we will be there. And so
we got a great interview with ScottWhittaker on the Trilogy Outdoors podcast. I
pulled that out and Jenna is gonnaplay that for us when we come back
on the other side of the Isent it to you, I emailed it
to you. All right, Well, I'll email it to you during the
break. How about that? Herewe go, Yeah, that'll work.

(18:30):
All right, all right, let'sdo it. We're gonna hear from our
sponsors now, fish ed, don'tgo anywhere, Stay tuned. We'll be
right back on the Southern Angers Radioshow on the Gear one or seven point
nine, testing live and recorded nowthat I pressed the button. Yep,
we are recording. Yeah, we'rerecording for our podcast via the Toyota Tunder

(18:52):
Studio presented by Sparks Toyota where thedealers always in and by Morris Submarine City
in Georgetown and Key Whist Boats. And we're in Georgetown at Carson Marine sitting.
We're sitting all the boats. Wegot all the boats. Hey,
we're gonna try. We're gonna trysomething on our Freedom Boat Club. Can't
forget those guys they oh, don'tforgot afford at their big convention that try.

(19:15):
Uh huh. So we're gonna trysomething. We're gonna try something real
quick as we do another. Yeah, we're gonna I'm reading the rules here,
I'm reading my instruction. We're experimenting, folks. Uh, we're going
we'll calls recording this time. Yeah, well read you servile. He doesn't
screwed the poop. There we go. All we're good now, Hey,
chriss, what's up, buddy? What's going on? Fellas? Looks like

(19:36):
a party coming on coming here tonightor something's gonna be a big party it
is U you think you think?Yeah, we've been sold out now a
month and a half. We're gonnahave a three hundred and fifty people in
the building tonight, so we solet's talk real quick. Um, items
that somebody that's already coming might want, might be interested in in the auction
Uh you mentioned something to me acouple of weeks ago that trip. Did

(20:00):
that Costa Rica house happen? Oh? It happens, all right, So
let's talk that's gonna be on theauction block tonight. Then that's auction block.
Yeah, we got a seven day, six night trip to Costa Rica
whole week. Man, Um,it's in a private villa. Um,
I'm not sure yet because they havehouses on the inland and houses on ocean
front the ocean. I'm not surewhich one, you know, is which

(20:25):
house you're gonna get. But somebody'sgonna go to Costa Rica. Still a
house for a week in Costa Rica? How many couples? Four couples,
four couples, so there you go? Or eight people? Yep, that's
right, eight people. So yeah, but poor couples of that school had
man that mathis skills are excellent. You know, I'm from Lake City,
South Carolina, and um, we'refamous for a lot of things. There.

(20:48):
We won't hold that against you.Yeah, thank you. I appreciate
that career. At least I gota lake there now. Yeah, I'll
tell you, um, we we'regonna have a good time tonight. And
you know we we originally set upin that beautiful pontoon up front. Um.
And then I sat up there andI said, you know, we
gotta do a podcast tonight. Isaid, if we can set up here
and do it right here, wecan get here about thirty minutes early and

(21:10):
grab some people. I know you'llbe too busy forget that. I mean,
I wouldn't even try to grab youup there, but we'll get somebody
else. You can designate somebody tocome up there with us. But that's
a beautiful little spot to overlook thecrowd. And I told Kenny he doesn't
even listen to the podcast. Isaid, well, I can't have you
as a guest host. You don'teven listen to it today. You wouldn't
even know what you do. WhileI'm driving down the road, I got

(21:32):
somebody. I got Lucas William Isaid, I got kicked out already.
Yeah, Lucas, Lucas can comein and sit in for you. Didn't
even make them, didn't even makethe podium. No, no, no,
you you made the get You madethe backup to the backup, to
the backup. That's all I need. You're there. Don't worry. I
feel you know, buttified. Now, Orter boy, there you go.
That's right, don't worry. Ididn't even make cooler totors. Look here,

(21:55):
until I've taken you to the dogkennel, you ain't got nothing to
worry about. But when we whenI start talking about the going to the
dog kennel is kind of like thetrain station, not the dog kennel,
man, not the dog kennel, dog kennel, not a dog kennel.
Chris, let's talk about it.You guys won an award last week,
two weeks last week. Last weekyou weren't able to go, But yeah,
I wasn't able to go. Ourstate chapter president received award in our

(22:18):
behalf. We're numbered twelve in thewhole country for twenty twenty two. That's
right, twelve. I couldn't remember. I was talking to Schriff. We
were last night about how many chaptersare there, uhlo thousand, and I
think, oh, yeah, that'svery distinguished. And we're doing that with
three hundred people in the building, and you got some of these banquets that

(22:40):
have five hundred plus. Yep.Chris and I were talking to about that
member a couple of weeks ago.He mentioned that turkey hunting best. Remember
the turkey best that he said wasgoing up a rap rapple, right,
That was went on the live auctionthat had ten calls in it from various
call makers across the country. MarkPrudent, one of his trumpets was in

(23:00):
it, thirty one thousand dollars onthe lives Lord Best Man. Unbelievable,
dude, that's awesome. How areyou gonna have the same auction here?
That's last year? He texts tome last week when we started talking about
it and setting. Yeah, yeah, we got a different auction here this
year. Um, good, sogood. We're looking at last year.

(23:22):
It's funny though, man, hewas hilarious. Well, but I mean
we got out of here at onethirty to the next morning. Yeah,
that's right, and those guys havehad a long day. Trust me,
they're gonna be here all day settingup. Man, you got a lot
of big sponsors to think for tonightand everything that goes on Marshall's Marine first
and foremost. The location makes abig difference and it helps out a lot,
doesn't it. Oh yeah, wecan't think Marsha's Marine enough. These

(23:45):
guys are awesome. You know lastyear, last year, I want to
say, you say the numbers thisyear are more than last year? Or
what? What are we looking atthe night? Three fifties fifties, um,
including that's a lot of people forin here. Oh yeah, and
uh, you know last year weit was our best bank whatever. Yep,

(24:07):
last year with the way the banquetsavari started, I have no doubts
we're gonna we're gonna pass that tonight, yep, without a doubt. Yeah,
and your confidence is uh well supported. Um, you look at the
numbers from last year. Like Kennysaid, it got so bad. We
were trying to win something that wewere pulling our money together. We were

(24:30):
in the just to try to compete, just to try to compete, and
still couldn't win. So but Iknow some of the crowd is coming to
night and it's gonna get good.I have one of them text me last
night and I'm I gotta give hiscrappy report because he did want to make
sure he gave the Starvies Beat andTackle freshwater report mister Jason Brett, who
was in the studio last week withus we Gauge. Jason got out and

(24:51):
limited out on Crappy in two hoursand said that the water temperature has gone
up almost ten degrees in fourteen daysin the river. Wow, that lot,
that's quick. That's a lot.I'm telling you. We're having like
a pool's pools spring. Is thatwhat they call it? Like that,
we're all getting excited. Somewhere inthe next couple of weeks, we're gonna
get shocked with some cold, temptinggroundhogs said, Well, I hope it

(25:12):
happens right about time Turkey season starts, because the one thing I hate is
sweating the first two weeks of Turkeyseason. I like it. I like
that cool morning and being comfortable, and man, that's what makes I mean
listening at the end of the day. If here as bad at turkey hunters,
I am. You've got to lookat all the positives. You gotta
look at just getting up. Yougotta look at the being outdoors. You

(25:33):
gotta look it joined a whipper wheel. You gotta all the positives you can
look at because they laid them onthe radio or a truck. Yep.
You know I've been known to dothat. But it's it's uh, I
saw we shared Mark's uh call. Now that one has already opened up for
auction. It is it is.We're taking max bids on it because I

(25:56):
don't have the resources or the timeto stay on the phone there in the
auction. So if you want tobid on it, you give me a
call at eight four three four eightfive six four one seven, leave me
a max bid. I can tellyou now it's he just got voted into
the NWTF Hall of Fame and he'sa trumpet Caller of the Year. Yep.
So get me your bids if youwant end on it. As I

(26:18):
can tell you now, it's notgonna go cheap. So that's an interesting
way. So max bid means allright, so instead of me and you
going back and forth every ten minutes, this is what I'm willing to go
to top dollar he's serious, itdon't be and then the top dollar one
opportunity, one opportunity. Oh it'sbeautiful too, It's beautiful. It's probably

(26:40):
it's probably the nicest trumpet. It'she gonna make it tonight. Yes,
he will be here. I taughtwith him yesterday when I picked the trumpet
up. He will definitely be inthe building. Good, good, good
good. He's always good to seehim. He tells good stories on Tony
by the way, in case youdidn't know, they grew up together,
so he has a lot of dirton Tony. Um, and we love

(27:00):
listening to it. The other importantpart of the night. And I'll tell
you my wife actually asked, andI know Kenny, and Kenny and his
wife the poot Brown's barbecue. Man, you can't go wrong with some Browns
barbecue. They're bringing a spread. We're gonna have a regular pulled pulled port
barbee last year chicken. That's right, the barbecue chicken. I'm sure he'll

(27:23):
have purlow on there. Um allthe six man those. He's gonna even
have a little or derve table forwhen the doors open at six o'clock until
town for dinner. And dinner shouldbe uh starting to get served around seven
thirty and then we're gonna kick offthe auction quick. Get it going quick,
get it going quick. Well, you gotta get people, you gotta

(27:45):
get their mixed right there. Wegotta give him that an hour and a
half to get the mind straight. They gotta get there, They gotta get
the walk around and get get grassed. But what they're looking at so they
know what the bid on and visityou know some of them top top shelf
liquors over there too. Yep atLoo Sen's up the wallet. Anybody that's
coming to night, I'll tell you. Uh, you know I hate that
that Kim Kim Bernard is not goingto be here. Um from Patriot Hunts

(28:08):
right, Yeah, Patriot Hunts Kenlast year bought the hunt that Lucas had
donated. Um. And uh,we had a great time. I got
to meet general friend Boudette and uh, I mean not to mention the beautiful
family that we took hunting and thedaughter who was able to kill a turkey.

(28:29):
Uh. The mom who sat withme didn't have so much luck.
But I don't put that on me. I put that on UM. Let's
see what can I put that.I gotta blame it on something. Um,
I blame it on the fact thatI'll blame it on I'll blame it
on turkey hunt. H. Itis what it is. But uh,
JJ took him out later that dayand JJ went and hunted with her,

(28:49):
and uh, they ended up theystill didn't get anything, but you know,
maybe JJ will take her to thatnew little place where he's at,
or take somebody, because his picturesmake me want to throw up. Oh
yeah, they got they got thebirds over there. Wow, no doubt.
Wow. But it is Uh,we're two weeks away from Turkey season,
maybe two and two and a half. What is it, fourteen,

(29:12):
somewhere around the twentieth. I'm notsure I really looked I could remember either.
So if you if you should haveyour turkey tags by now, by
the way, if you've not gottenthem yet, you better contact Yeah there
there in our I got got yours. I got mine this week, So
they're in. They're coming in themail, so be on the lookout for
them. Um. We did agreat story, a great ad in the

(29:33):
magazine for n WTF UM, andyou and I had to go back and
forth. So you had to educateme on a planter versus what was the
other thing. I was calling thatcontraption that y'all bought for UM back them
all refuge. You was calling hera planner and drill seed, drill yeah,
so the seed drill. So thisyear, Uh, do you have

(29:55):
any plans with anything in particular thatthey're looking for that that you have a
group that you know you want todonate too, Well, we'll donate.
We always the past several years,we've donated seed and fertilizer for walcome All
National Refuge and that goes into plantingfor their youth hunt hunch and for any
disability hunts that they decide to do. They haven't been able to do deer

(30:18):
hunts lately because of water and allthose issues. But the turkey hunting out
there is phenomenal. They're picking upacreage more and more every day. Um.
So we got a good thing goingwith those guys. Great partnership.
Um yeah, and we got we'respending right at two hundred thousand dollars this

(30:38):
year just in the state of SouthCarolina on different projects throughout the whole state.
Again, that's an important part ofthis is it it stays here.
That's right. You know, weget asked, I just got asked yesterday,
where does my money go? Well, I can tell you. I
sit on the state board. Iget to vote where this money goes.
And we're putting boots on the groundaround in the state of South Carolina for

(31:02):
not only just for the wild turkey, but for all wildlife across the board.
Right now, how much of thatends up being habitat um purchasing or
habitat maintaining or do y'all have ahand in that? I know, I
mean, we're the pracial Real estateis not cheap these days, right.
We have a fun set up wherea certain amount of dollars goes into a

(31:25):
land acquisition account and if some ofsomething comes up to be an R calls
say, hey, we're looking atsome property with y'all be interested in being
a partnership, we'll go over,we'll look at it, we'll decide on
what we want to do and whatdollar amounting, and if we can help,
we're gonna help because we won't openup as much public land to a
hunter as we can, right becauseout of much rather take a kid hunting

(31:52):
than him sitting in the house playingxbox. Yep, yep. And you
do a great job doing that withwith with kids. And you also have
some really good turkey property because youalways love rubbing in pictures to me during
turkey season, but normally it's becauseyou're not getting to hunt, you're on
your way to work. But youdo get some good picture, that's right.

(32:12):
That's right. They were out therethis morning where they five long beer
strutting having a good time in thismissing ring. Well, there's no doubt
you you you had a busy workweek. Again, I knew your schedule.
But do you normally take time offduring Turkey season? Do you ever
take vacation time? I usually dothe way my work schedule is now,
we work fifteen days a month andthat's it. Oh, that's right,

(32:32):
I get I get plenty of timeto hunt. I do take some time.
It has been years where I've huntedjust about every day of the season.
Yep, Um, and not justby myself, you know, I
take kids. I do hunts withpatriot hunts like you were talking earlier.
That's big to me. Um.I got us put his life on the
line for our freedom. That's abig way to pay back. Amen.

(32:55):
Amen. And I'll just let youknow a yok, we are going to
extend a hunt to Ken to bringsomebody there so and you guys will get
credit with it regardless, but weare going to extend to hunt out to
them. If I think, youknow, Lucas is a landowner, realizes

(33:15):
the importance of doing that and givingit back. And man, I mean
I didn't what did I do?Carry chairs maybe and put up a tent
or a blind and did a littlebit of work. But you know,
just like your other all your guys, JJ was so pumped and so excited
to be out there and doing it. And that's what it takes. I
mean, but you are right. They are important. They deserve it,

(33:37):
you know, for the most partnercoming back and not getting an appreciation they
need. And you know, alot of them are dealing with things that
we can't imagine. And to havethat opportunity to get out there, meet
us, you know, come outin the morning, eat a little breakfast
and just sit around and talk.Go sitting a blind for a little bit
makes a big difference. I mean, it does that for I don't care

(33:58):
if you're stressed out. I mean, I know how many times I want
to say I got into turkey huntingprobably because of the stress and I just
love to sit, just to gosit in the woods. You know,
I got the fortune of hunting withtwo incredible hunters, John Michael Morris being
one of them who will be heretonight. I'm sure John Michael was one
of them. Probably my first hunt, and then another gentleman Hunter and I

(34:22):
cannot remember Hunter's last name, tosave my behind from Conway and Hunter took
me and we killed harvested two birdson my very first turkey hunt. I
mean, and that's separately. Thatwas the that was the exactly that was
hooked. But then I wanted tolearn it. I wanted to learn it
because I did realize there was alot that goes into it. I mean,
you know, we didn't just goset up on that one roadway and

(34:44):
sit in the edge of the woodsand put a certain decoy out on one
side of the road to other decoyon the other side of the road.
For a reason, he knew thosebirds were coming down because he went there
the day before the day before that. He knew where they were roosting.
There's a lot of work that goesinto it. It is, it is,
and just like we do these hunts, I mean, we spend countless
hours because we want, we wantedto be great for whoever you know we're

(35:07):
bringing on these hunts, and youknow, it takes, like I said,
hours and hours and scouting and plottingtimes and turkey hunts. Like fishing,
you get out of it what youput into it, There's no doubt.
Yeah, no doubt me. Andbut that goes from from land preparation,

(35:28):
you know, planting food sources forthem, getting something out there for
them. Um. I would almosthave to say that taking care of them
varmants out there too extensive. Trappingwere we are low we losh Lucas is
loaded up with coyotes during deer season. It was crazy. I finally broke
down and bought the worst thing Iever did, Tony, I'll tell you,

(35:50):
bought a satellite freaking camera, soat any point in time during the
day or night, it would letme know whenever deer or coyotes or bobcats
or whatever. And let me tellyou, that thing will ding ding ding
ding Dingdean. I could never figureout how to set it, where the
sensitivity or how the time laps inbetween pictures, because it would send me

(36:12):
a picture like every poor minutes orfive minutes or something. So if the
deer were just out there eating, but man to coyotes were incredible. I
saw one by my house the otherday, you know, where I live.
Yep, well exactly the country, you know, where we live.
They're getting pushed away. We heardone in the middle of the day at
Tony's, middle of the afternoon.Her. Yeah, yep, just a
howling. You know. They gota bunch of bulldogs two houses. Hey,

(36:34):
they're losing their habit tattoo. Sothere, that's why, you know,
they got to do what They allthose houses around my house and they
got a whole new neighborhoods coming in. And that's that's what it is.
They're getting pushed around. They gotwhere else to go. Hey, by
the way, yeah, we're goingto break real quick. But just for
the all that were, there's Joe. There's Chief Joe Hill with a big
old red fish. Where to goJoe? So they so it wasn't just

(36:55):
a good day on the water. No, it wasn't just a good day
on the water. And I can'tbelieve he was say that about your good
friend, Fred Rourke. I can'tbelieve you say said it. Man,
You said that. I did not. I said, say, that's that's
slang for you English say that's notright now right now, man, look
at them all right, it's timeto go to bread and we're seeing a

(37:19):
break pictures. I got a pictureof a big red fish and a big
turkeys at pull Strut. When wasthat yesterday? That was Wednesday? I
think God's beautiful day. Look atthat. Yeah, Wednesday. Yeah,
nice fish. That is all youneed to share that on our on our
we will. I'll get his permissionfirst. Yeah, I definitely do that.
Yeah, I'll get his permission first. But that is an awesome looking

(37:39):
fish and a great time I'm surehanging out with Fred and Chris. Nothing
could be better. We had agreat time with you. We're gonna you
can hang out all you want to, but we gotta get scotty in them
on here. We gotta talk someboats because they got some great deals,
and we got to talk about thisYamaha deal. Got some Yamaha deals.
We're reading that sign there. Yeah, we got to talk about that.
And uh, let's see what elsewe got. I'm gonna try and figure

(38:00):
right how to get this Dagon thingto play. But one way or another,
one way or another figured out howto get the email of the super
Jenna. I know that that mightbe the best thing to do. That's
anyway. The other best thing todo is for you to take us to
break That's right? Are you readyto super Jenna? All right, take
it away, We'll be right back. Fish heads on the Southern Anger's Radio
Show on the Getter one of sevenpoint All right, Fish is the Southern

(38:20):
Anger's Radio Show. It's back live. Yeah, we're back live. We're
coming to you via the YO totuns of studios on the road. What
is we're getting a feedback and echoon your side? But anyway, it's
going. Now. We are atMarshall's Marine in Getown and the one and
only Scottie Hopkins has finally found thetime to come over and sit down.

(38:42):
This man's been busy this week.Yes, yes, there, it's been
a busy morning for sure. Whenaren't you busy? Hey? But you
guys know how to throw a party. Here, man, this is going.
It's a great event and a goodturnout and we've been doing it several
years now and this everybody has agreat time. You got that right?
You know. I'm in the middleof texting with Cheap Joe here. Do
you remember Joe Joe's is a customerhere, owner of a Marshall's Marine boat.

(39:04):
And I invited me to go fishingwith him and Fred Rourke this week.
I didn't get to go, buthe just sent us a picture of
a beautiful redfish. You know,as much as we want to talk about
turkeys on the show today, wegot to talk boats. I mean we're
at Marshall's Marine. You and Iwent over to Lake City last week,
and between Lake City and here, you got a rough idea how many boats

(39:25):
there? All? Right? Now, I will put you on the spot
because I didn't tell you I wasgonna ask that more boats than people.
Yeah. Absolutely, it's getting likethere, and I say, the good
old days. We're getting back towhere we need to be. We got
boats at boat stores, boats inthe warehouse. We're getting a good display.
That's awesome. And we looked atsome good looking boats between there and

(39:45):
here. You've got some really goodlooking boats here. But y'ama, you
know everybody talks about boatshow boats show. We always talk about every days,
the boat show. That's right,it is. I don't care which store
you go to, and for alot of different reasons. I mean,
this is a comfortable little area tosit down out and chill. Yeah,
I think it may have been withyou. We're talking about it, but
you know, you're making a decisionto buy a boat. It's for most

(40:07):
people, it's going to be thebiggest purchase they make other than a house.
Yeah. Real, you need tobe comfortable on you and there's a
there's a good group of people herejust waiting to They just want to help
you hip, help you get onthe water, and help you wait the
right decision, and help you dosomething that's going you and your family can
have fun with. Now, you'vemade several decisions over the last couple of
years. You went from key Westwhat was it a two oh nine?

(40:31):
What's your two oh three? Ihad a two or three? FS I
loved. I love that boat.Um. Recently we've got a one seventy
seven key West skiff. Now,yep, on that my son runs way
more than I do. I don'tthink i've driven it yet. Well,
Tony's put it into water. Ithink we No, we did. We
put it in the water one timefor him, that's right, that's right.

(40:52):
Uh yeah. And and that twooh three, by the way,
that's Kenny's dream boat. Yeah,my wife and I that's the boat we
love. I like them because it'syou know, he can put all the
all the season there. It's acomfy boat. He's having he's having seller's
remorse. Oh absolutely, the pullthat stuff out of sufishing boat underneath you
always here's people tell stories about thecar they head or the house they head.

(41:15):
That that was the boat I hadabout loved it. I'm gonna get
another one. So I think Tonywouldn't vouch for this, and I think
I abe told you I'm having seller'sremorse from selling to G three. You
obviously know I love my Key Westboats, but that G three and the
things I got to do out ofit, I can't comfortably go do in
that beautiful, expensive Key West andfeel good about it. That G three

(41:38):
was perfect for going to the riverto go crappy fishing, real quick,
pop the boat in the water andgo do it. But you know,
the market was good, and Isaid, man, you know, we
weren't sure with the wife's jobs,so we sold it. But man,
I'd love to have that thing back. And right now it's why I mean
talking, hearing about all the crappy, hearing about all the bass, hearing

(41:59):
about everything getting caught, and it'sjust so much easier to put that thing
in the water and go enjoy it. But I'm excited and you kind of
you've been busy for the last week. I don't even want to talk about
how many hours you've been putting inbecause that's I mean, everybody that knows
you knows how hard you work,So I don't have to sit here and
and talk about that. But you'vebeen busy this week. But at the
same time, you and I gotsome plans. We got the okay from

(42:22):
well, heck, you're on thebig board. We got the okay to
do something a little different on notmine. Yeah, I'm looking forward.
We're gonna stall live scope on thaton that boat, and um, there's
a lot of people gonna be involvedin that. Garment is one, and
then the fellow we're gonna get thebrackets from that. He's a keeps gonna
play a key role on. We'regonna make it look good and use use

(42:42):
a friendly and make sure it's soeffective. Yep. And I think the
idea we had yesterday is a greatidea and we definitely need to do that.
And that um is to bring peoplethat have interest in it basically spend
an afternoon at once I refine itand learn it, which Tony'll tell you
he's talked to a lot of peoplethat all them that you know, they
never get the most out of thembecause they don't take the time to learn

(43:05):
learn them. So once I getan education on them, hopefully Cory might
come from in some time, butget me educated on it, then we'll
bring them, have them, youknow, come down and meet us at
the dock and take them out andshow them what it does. Oh yeah,
there's nothing like an experiencing at firsthand. If you and Tony got to
do it and you know it,it's unreal what it can do. I
mean, you can throw a lureout and watch that lure go to the

(43:25):
bottom. That's unbelievable. Yep.And but you got to remember the frustration
factor that's going to be there whenthey don't bite, because I mean,
this thing is not going to catchthe fish for you. It is going
to help eliminate some of the deadareas that you would be wasting time and
and help you out with that, but it's not going to catch the fish
for you. You still got todo the fishing and you still got to

(43:49):
figure out where you want to gouse it. Well, it's still cheating.
I agree, Well, it's youcall it cheating, but it's a
tools. It's a tool. It'sa tool, and if you don't have
it, if you ain't scoping, you're hoping. See everybody else has it,
they're using it. You're gonna haveto use it if you're gonna be

(44:09):
competitive in any kind of field offishing. Yep, tournament based. They
should ban those from tournaments. Gotto have it now. I was calling
to the English yesterday we were watching. I like it. I have nothing
against it, but I feel likeit's changed the industry to where a guy

(44:32):
like me that's been doing it fiftyyears, I don't have computer knowledge.
I've got I'll vouch for that.Go to the bank and read the bank,
read the fish figured out, andknow what to do as to where
now a gamer exactly. That's wherethe skill comes in. That's what I
saw. That's what I think. You know, Yeah, if you got
your fishing is all about accumulating knowledgeover years of experience, trial and error,

(44:58):
picking out Hey, man, thatplace, look fishing, there's got
to be some fish sitting there andmaybe you're right, maybe you're wrong.
That's part of the fishing. Well, it's still will be the same thing.
It's time on the water. Youcan't replace it. It's electronics or
not. It's it's like that phoneright there is you you pick it up
once a day just to call somebody. You don't realize what it can and

(45:19):
can't do. But if you holda hand all day like some of us,
do, you realize all the benefits. It's it's the most n to
me, that's the most powerful knowledgethat's ever been created. Look here,
I'd raise my hand, but Ican't because I'd had to put my phone
down. If he ever breaks itsthumbs. If whatever you do, remember
however, you hold your phone atwhatever angle that is that is being recorded.

(45:43):
Yeah, I'm remember that. Rememberthat. Figure that out that for
a fact. We know that fora fact after watching the trial, and
uh, we gotta give. Yeah, we give a big smile for our
picture here. I think the lifescope is great for like I was saying,
like the Weekend Warrior I got,it only gets out there, you
know, Saturday or Sunday. ButI think it's definitely necessity for I think
they tournament guys, I can't wait. My I'm so rad. He's more

(46:09):
excited. I don't want to sayhe's more excited than I am, because
I'm I would probably be under wayunderstatement. He is just as excited as
I have about it. I've alwaysbeen an open water fisherman at so I
love fishing offshore. I can't waitto go out to the reefs with this

(46:30):
thing and applied in salt water andsee what it does comparable to what we
did on the lakes. Ye right, when I and what we do in
the river, that would be reallycool. Man, go to three miles.
I mean when I'm you know,it's not as if I'm not going
to look at him when I gofishing with you. All right, I'm
well, let's see what they are. But everything we got now with the

(46:52):
structure scans and the megalives and andthat lorents agdis, I mean, whatever
brand you choosday all got forward facingsonar, but it's become now with all
the side skin, the down imageand everything. You can actually see what's
down there. But now it justit just adds the pointed. Now you

(47:13):
can actually see things moving around thoseobjects. How deep does that thing skin?
There's a lot those the activist youcould set it. There's two different
transducers of a shallow water and adeep water and the deep water is yeah,
whoa yep, that's going to makethe marlin guys happy. They're already
got there. There's there's costs aboutone hundred and ten thousand though at all

(47:36):
the omnivision omni take a check, but this one. And see, here's
the thing. You look at thebass guys, if you if you look
at the bass guys, their transduceris mounted on their trollo motor. Most
of the time they're fishing in thatdirection, okay for the most part,
or they're able to pin it realquick. And look they're not I mean,

(47:59):
I don't want to say they're notcurrent. I know they fish a
lot of current, but nothing likewhat we end up fishing in. So,
with our amount and what we're challengedwith, first and foremost, we
want to do as little to theboat as we can because this boat is
the not mine nine and it willbe somebody else's in September. So we

(48:21):
want to do as little to theboat. But we also want to make
it. We want it to looklike you know, if the Jason Burton
comes in, who's Who's I'll tellyou a teeter on the edge. He's
just waiting. If Jason wants toget it, then he already has the
idea of, oh, this iswhere we need to do to bracket.
This is where you know, blahblah blah. That's where it's gonna be
a real game changer is once y'allfigure this out and figure out how to

(48:44):
put this on your boat and seehow it's set up. And because typically
right now, I mean, peopledon't want to take one hundred thousand all
a boat and go to cut anddrilling holes in the front of it,
mounting any thing. And if it'sgonna be on a boat, like here's
a saltwater boat that may go tenfifteen miles off shore, it's gonna have

(49:06):
to be something that's rocks rock solidbecause it's gonna get dag gone right,
it's gonna get beat. It ain'tgonna be like ride a bass boat in
the river. So I think oncey'all figure that little gimmick out, I
think a lot more people in thesaltwater side are gonna flock to this thing.
Are you gonna put it like ona mount that's similar to a trolling
motor mount. It's it's right theresearch that me and English have been due

(49:31):
and that is we are and it'sgonna And another main goal is we're gonna
make it is least intrusive as possibleto the boat, hopefully removable to where
you can take it and stow itwhen you're not using it. And you
know it's gonna look good and functiongood. And I tell you, and
all the research that we've done, you can find a hundred or even more

(49:53):
crappy crappy videos bass fishing videos, very little salt fishing video is something I'm
the side of about that. Yeah, that's going to open up a whole
Okay, that's why I said.I think it's going to bridge that gap
that's there right now. And oncepeople see that it can be applied and
done in the right way, Ithink it's just going to open a market.
It's gonna go. And I thinkthe other thing is, like I

(50:14):
mean, honestly, you know,we wanted to talk about things that customers
of Marshals are potentially new customers. It is another item that are things that
right now they should be looking at. Coming down talking to you about power
poles, which are another game changerfor a lot of guys that shallow water
fish that might not have the trollof motor already have the troll of motor
and want something to have that optionto anchor up real quick. Troll of

(50:37):
motors. I mean, the trollof motors have come so far. And
I do remember, and I said, listen, I know I'm getting old
first and foremost, but I doremember that I was probably the first person,
and Tony you were with me,one of the first people to go
to three mile Reeve and drop atroll of motor YEP. I mean that
no doubt that I was one ofthe first ones and that spot lot and

(50:58):
they were like, what are youdoing? I'm change it, changed it.
If you don't using spot lock outthere now on the inshore reefs and
your shore reefs, those are sogood out there because you might just get
to move ten feet to get onthe fish that's right, you know there,
You might be so close when youanchor up, throw on the anchor.
But that that thing is that thingsstarted years and years ago with the

(51:20):
pen points system yep. And itactually had PenPoint motor motors or something,
and then motor guides started picking itup. Humbers started picking it up,
and it's just kind of evolved alot in the last ten years. But
it was out, Actually it wasout. I had a few years before
that and people just didn't realize thecapabilities of it. But like English said,

(51:43):
the first time we went to directand we didn't have to throw out
a thirty pound anchor. It costone hundred feety dollars. If you break
it off, hang it up,and you could just move in five ten
foot increments. That's the that's thegame changer right there. People was looking
at us like we was crazy,But English is like, this is how
it works. Look at that.Go but the pulling on anchor to get

(52:04):
the boat just right for the tideto wind drift everything to get where you
want to be. And that tooka lot of skill, dude. And
there's some boys in that inlet justgot it. And we still ain't got
to come over yet. Yeah, well there's still old school. It's a
piece of equipment for a charter capit is it is for a recreat I
think it's I think it's a necessityfor a recreational fish. If you want

(52:28):
to catch fish, if you wantto be productive. I do well,
if you're a charter captain and don'thave it on your boat right now,
I'll just say this much. Ifyou are a true businessman, if you
are truly trying to have your customershave the best enjoyable experience with the best
opportunities to catching fish, then youneed to rethink it, because it is
absolutely I don't I'm not saying thatthis is important as having a boat,

(52:52):
because obviously you got to have theboat first and foremost. But I'm just
say this much. There's a lotof things on that boat you can leave
off and put that troller motor on. And if it's a financial thing,
well, and you can say rightthere the financial side of it, but
you got to realize these life scopesand hummingbirds and everything. You're not talking
about cheap electronics. I mean, you're not looking three grand for this.

(53:15):
And there's a lot of people thatwon't take that jump without knowing what it's
gonna be capable of on their saltwater boat. But I think once they
see that it can be applied andapplied right, they'll make that leap to
go. It'll be worth it,you know. But easy to just say
I'm going to spend fifteen grand rightnow on a unit to go on my

(53:37):
boat going to ocean with. That'sjust not a lot of people. I
mean, there's people, trust me, I'd like to be one of them,
but I'm not. But there's alot of people that just don't have
that kind of money just willing totake the gap. But you's a charter
fisherman. It's it's a no brainerfor them. You got a factor in
two. You got to think aboutthis. You know, you're just said

(53:59):
fifteen that's that's not even I mean, that's clothe. I mean, that's
I was going to ask that everythat's right. I was super curious about
that. We're talking about it.You think about the customer that goes into
Lake City, which now, Imean I noticed that most of the skeeters
already have at least one unit onthe bow behind you. Yeah, they
come with at least one unit onthe bow. But the guys that are
going to go for the two orthree units up there, or or if

(54:22):
they do buy one that doesn't haveit, or they've ordered one in and
they want to do, have y'allset it up. I mean, dude,
that's easily a ten to twenty thousand. That's what I wanted to know.
What is this like the one you'regetting because you're a price tag,
Well here's a deal because well wewould have You know, I don't want
to give a price tag out rightnow. Scottie probably doesn't either, but
I would guess beat down Tom wouldbeat down down in Texas. Uh probably

(54:45):
has if you go researching and looking, um read reviews and everything else,
I would say he's probably got asreliable, yes, um and uh attractive
Uh, non in intrusive. Isthat what you said? Non intrusive setups
that you can get um made topquality to hold up. And he told

(55:09):
me on the phone, you thinkthat crappy is my big thing? He's
in Texas. Saltwater is my bigthing. Yeah, I mean he told
me saltwater is my big thing. He said, y'all are over there and
you're you're you know, the crappyguys are just getting into it, but
saltwater is where my big thing is. So, I mean, I don't
know if Scotty would be on thesame page with this, but I would
venture to guess between the unit twentysix twenty eight right transducer, the brackets

(55:34):
and everything retailing. I would sayScotty helped me out five thousand. Yeah,
yeah, we're probably gonna come inunder five thousand. That's what I
would That's not that bad. Yeah, it's really not when he's not like
I was expecting sticker shock man,No, it's it's not a real big
sticker shock. It is a giantsticker shock. If you say I'm fixing
to drop five grand and I don'tknow if I don't know the word work,

(55:57):
yeah, I don't know how I'mgoing to this. Yeah. So
I think y'all bridging the gap rightthat it needs to be bridged really quickly
because I know what the end resultsgonna be of it. Well. I
like the way Scotti has not triedto mess with it at all this week
because he's been busy polishing the floorsand getting shot into floors and getting a
round job. I might say,by the way the guy does everything,

(56:19):
but I like that he's been doingthat because I know, once we get
down to doing this, we wereScotty's got an incredible group of young guys
that are awesome back there in theback, and they're gonna want to learn
how to do it. So whenonce we do start mounting it, we
probably want to do it to haveall hands on deck, to kind of
pay attention because they're going to bedoing more of them mostually, there's gonna
be more of them coming. Sothe fact now we want to do it

(56:42):
right, take our time, doit right. I mean, do I
wish it was done yesterday? Heckyeah, I'd be lying if I didn't,
you know, But hey, Ialso have put there's point two five
hours on that boat. So thattells you right there we have and that
was from driving around the lake atat Lake City. Well that's point two
five hours. I don't know, not much, Yeah, fifteen minutes.

(57:02):
Yeah, thank you, Tony,Yes, it is that man, Tony.
All right, you go to schoolat that's that Georgetown math right everybody.
Well, I'll tell you what Scotty. Uh, let's let's let's see
what else we can talk about. We got anything else? Service? You
got you? Yeah? You guyslined up for services. Yeah we are.
We're getting here. This weather bringspeople in and that's good and reminds

(57:22):
everybody what I was coming on thepipeline. Right, So yeah, we're
getting we're getting busy. And now'sthe time, Come on in here and
let's get the service stuff for thefirst deal call down? Can they go
on line anywhere? Other I've neverasked it. There's two ways to do
it. Um, we get theonline leads every morning, we'll call you
back and get and get you inhere. You can do it that way,
or to just call eight three threeeighty five hundred oh man, and
you'll get us down here and we'llget you set up. Well, I'll

(57:45):
tell you what, it's always apleasure to be down here with you brother
and hang out. And I knowyou've got a long day ahead of you.
Yes, it's gonna be a bigone today. Um, gonna be
a fun one. Gonna be afun one. Good times, and uh,
we're gonna have a great time tonight. Any of the crowd from Lake
City coming, I'm not sure.I think a couple of them are out
of town, but we're gonna we'regonna have a lot of Marshall's Marine shirts

(58:05):
walking around. Well, I'll helpme anyway I can tonight. I'll help
because I'm still unsure I'm doing thepodcast or not tonight, but I am
definitely gonna be sitting there and thenjoin some of that Brown's barbecue, you
know it? Yep, all right, y'all get down here to Marshall's Marine.
And by the way, I'm justI'm running this on another little radio
show that I'm on, so I'mgonna run it on our radio show.

(58:27):
But if you buy a boat fromMarshall's New War Used between now and the
end of March, I will spendtwo to three hours with you at the
landing on the water, working onbacking down the trailer, working on navigation,
simple things like that. Probably notgonna fish unless we just have an
incredible day and we could do everythingquick. But I'm all fern that.

(58:51):
So if you come to Marshall's hereor in Lake City, visit your salesman,
you find one you won't make, remind them that you've heard this on
Southern English radio show, and uh, we're gonna spend some time with you
on the boat. And we all, we all know how big a difference
I can make for some people whoenjoying the boat. That isn't it stream
value? Accuse you confidence at theboat rent and you can't replace that.
That's right, And I got togive all the credit to Tony Carter because

(59:14):
my backing down the trailer game improvedone hundred and ten percent when he taught
me the trick, and the trickis unbelievable. Don't look, don't turn
your head around. I'll save yourneck. Trust me, I'll save your
neck. But we gotta get somewords in from our wonderful sponsor. It's
about that time, isn't it.Why don't you take us to break.
It's been a great segment, Scotty, thank you for taking the time.

(59:35):
Ye, hey, super Jenna, are you ready? Yes, she says,
I am so. We will beright back. Fish heads onto Southern
Anger's rail. She want to gether one of seven point nine. Often
do we take a break in themiddle of the show, but sometimes mother
nature calls and that was perfect. But speaking of phone calls, Stephen got
through with the Director of the State, Director of CCA, our good friends,
Scott Whittaker, who has been onwith us quite a few times.

(59:58):
And we're gonna have Scott on today and talk about the banquet that's coming
up. Let's talk about the banquetsfor the year, how important they are,
and then let's talk some star tournament. How about that? Brother,
Yeah, we just call Scott, the man, the man, the man,
Scott you there, the Lord. What an intro. I will do
all I can. I appreciate allthe kind remarks guys. But um,

(01:00:20):
yeah, that's uh, that's that'squite a lot to live up to.
Yeah. Yeah, well, Uh, I like Steve and I like to
think of myself as a I'm aI'm a little Indian, not a big
chief. Yeah, I hear you. I feel the same way sometimes.
Yeah. Um. So yeah,we got a banquet coming up first in
the state, coming up March fourth. Right, we do, guys,

(01:00:42):
and I appreciate y'all. Um,y'all calling in allowing us to talk about
it for a few minutes. Um. Yes, for twenty twenty three,
um, which is what we callour We we call our our uh you
know, our events across the state. We call the the CCA Banquet Trail.
And um once again this year, our wonderful friends Bubba Roof and Sea

(01:01:02):
Hunt Boats are our banquet trail sponsors. UM. They've been doing it now
for over fifteen years for the entirestate of South Carolina. But the first
one starts right there in y'all's backyard. And uh, it's really a chapter
that I continue to just be soproud of and so fond of so many
people that give their time and energy. It's I'll walk them all. Banquet

(01:01:24):
is what we call that chapter. And it will be right downtown merls In
at once against And I think youknow both of you. I don't want
to put words in y'all's mouths, but y'all have both attended the event and
many many times over the years, and honestly, I think it's probably one
of the finest events along the entireGrands friend out the time for for for

(01:01:46):
you know, for anglers and forhunters and for for outdoor enthusiasts. Yeah,
it's great, we're looking forward toit. It's a great time a
year. Um. You still havea little bit of nip in the air
in the evenings, and the bugsaren't that bad. And we're on the
waterfront there and worlds where Sunnyside,Sunnyside, Sunnyside, that's right, and

(01:02:07):
we're at Sunnyside. Great food, great music, great people. Highly encourage
everybody to come if you can hearthe sound of my voice, and gonna
be a lot of good uh auctionitems banquet items as well, Right Scott
any anything you can tell us aboutalready. Yeah, it is and and
and I think it's it's Uh,we always work real hard, and our

(01:02:27):
volunteers work real hard and all ofour board and committee members to try and
put on really good, you knowevents across the state and bring those types
of items to people, uh andlet them you know, really come and
support what the organization does. Andyeah, we'll have some you know,
some unique items again this year thatum that we've worked on you know since

(01:02:47):
last year and this ball and thiswinter, and the volunteers, I think
is I can't really talk enough aboutthe volunteers that we have because these guys
are giving their time and their talentstime and time again and many in many
instances their own resources to put togetheran event and to encourage their their you

(01:03:12):
know, fellow citizens and the peoplein their community support the mission of what
CCA South Carolina and what our sisterorganizations do across the region. So yes,
um, we're going to have somevery unique things I think again for
everybody to come and have a goodtime on and um, while we're talking
about that kind of thing, guys, I want to make sure that everybody

(01:03:34):
understands that because because we do getasked this that the really unique thing about
CCA in South Carolina is is thatall the money that we raise at these
events across the state, it staysright here in the stays South Carolina.
So that money isn't you know,we don't we don't bundle that money up
from all these events and we shipit off some you know somewhere. All

(01:03:55):
of the money that is raised acrosseach one of our CCA states, they
it stays in that respect of state, right and it allows it allows you
know, CC South Carolina to doall the amazing work that we have been
able to do over the years, you know, from the habitat to the
oysters to the advocacy um. It'sjust a tremendous upwelling of support that that

(01:04:19):
anglers and and people who really lovethe coast and outdoorsmen sportsmen really have.
It's very unique to the state ofSouth Carolina. So we're very happy to
be a part of it and justreally thrilled at what our volunteers are able
to do year in and year outfor the resource. You're gonna have some
trips to give away this year.We will. We've We've got some some

(01:04:44):
interesting stuff going to Texas this year, a little blasting cast with our friends
at Base Last Lodge. Um,Chris is coming on board and doing some
really unique things with us. It'sa trip for four Um. We will
have some obviously some you know, some unique opportunities for some cooking team item,
for some you know fellowship that everybodygets to have. And uh,
there'll be some vacation packages and uhsome some other unique items that we've been

(01:05:08):
able to you know, put togetherhere and there. So uh, it
should be another good lineup. Youstill uh accepting donations. We are,
We absolutely are. We never stopped. Oh good English. And I would
like to donate something to the callsif you don't mind, let's talk afterwards
if that's okay. We would absolutelylove to do that. We would love
to hear it and then talk somemore about that. Yeah we do,

(01:05:30):
okay, Yeah, we need to. I tell you what you mentioned.
It's a it's a great time andfor a lot of us it's it's um,
it's a crazy night for different walksof life to get together that don't
spend a lot of social time together. Um, you know, albeit for
whatever reason. And uh, itis always great to get together and sit
down there and hear you know, all the lies that get told about it

(01:05:56):
is it is, it is uh, it is great. And then you
know, of course our other umbrand, the Southern English radio show.
Kenny and I love naming the officialwinner of the CCA banquet, and and
we have I'm not going to disclosenames from over the years, but I
think Whittaker would probably agree with meon all of our annual winners that we

(01:06:16):
picked. And what you mean bywinners is the most inebriated, most inebriated,
all the person that indulge. Justas the disclaimer CECA has whatsoever no
that that is all done by theradio show, and we always like to
join up. We make our whatwe'll do is on that Saturday A we

(01:06:40):
will normally come up with our guestimationof who's going to be in the top
five. I can tell you whothat is right now, and then you
already know, and then the followingweek we make our choice of who made
the cut and who gets the title. And I will say that all the
winners from the past have owned upto it and are very proud of that
title that they get. But whatwe love is the fact that they normally

(01:07:01):
open their wallets up a little bitbetter and we get them bidden and buying
things at auction. And I'll tellyou first and foremost, I've been to
a lot of auctions. I've beento a lot, and more so with
our new business, Steven and Ihave been a part of quite a few.
But when it comes down to auctioneersthat are professional, that do the
great job, that pull the moneyout of people's wallets and do it in

(01:07:25):
a respectful way and in a entertainingway, your guy is the best brother.
Yeah. Roy is just a tremendous, tremendous supporter of what we do.
So I've been doing this now,I'm coming up on a quarter of
a century. I've been blessed tobe the executive director for CC South Carolina
for almost twenty five years and Royhis only missed I don't know, probably

(01:07:49):
half a dozen, maybe six eventsin that time frame. He and I
are close friends, and he isHe just does a tremendous job. People
love him all over the state EnglishAnd um, that's one of the first
questions I get, you know, when people to find out about it,
or they see me on the streetor call me on the phone. Hey
is it We got to see auctioneerand he's like, yep, Roy's coming

(01:08:12):
back. So that's awesome. Thereyou go, that's perfect. Well listen,
Steven's got to make that phone callreal quick. Let's talk about the
Star Event. I know you're makinga couple of changes this year, but
the CCA Star Event is another popularevent. And what we're gonna make sure
everybody gets signed up for the GrandsTram Fishing Rodeo and for the Star Event.
I mean, you need to getsigned up for both. But let's
talk about the Star Event. Let'sum real quick. Some changes that you

(01:08:34):
made with that new dolphin category andwe got about four minutes to get this
thing, so if Steven can getback to work, sorry, so um
yeah, we we we. Westarted a dolphin h category last year,
had a tremendous amount of success withit. Um. We tried to do

(01:08:57):
it along in conjunction with the Redwhich our Star Tournament has always been,
you know, a summertime event, and it really kind of we just tried
to mirror what it was doing andunfortunately, as everybody knows, most of
the time, our our recreational dolphinfishery here in the state of South Carolina.

(01:09:18):
It's just really kind of it startsin April. And so what we
did was we backed up um oror move forward, I should say the
start of our our dolphin category thisyear. It's gonna start on April first,
UM to kind of capture and givepeople the opportunity to go into that

(01:09:39):
UM. So you say categories, sign up on lot you can. You
can sign up online and go tojoin CCA dot org and you can take
care of your membership and your starregistrations, star registrations. What twenty five
bucks thirty five, your stars thirtyfive and biggest dolphin wins the tournament.

(01:10:00):
That's right, Biggest Dolphin is thetournament winner. Obviously it's a tag redfish
division, UM, but the Dolphindivision is the largest issue. That's awesome,
and that's great because you guys willstart. So if somebody wants to
come to the banquet and we're promotingthat banquet on all our stuff, but
March fourth, they cover the banquet, they can sign up right there and
go ahead, and that's your kennings. They can they can they'll get their

(01:10:23):
membership with their ticket to the tothe banquet, and they can obviously register
for star Um at the banquet aswell. All right, real quick,
Cca sc dot org, Am Iwrong on that? Uh? Go to
join Cca dot org. Yeah, join Cca dot org, Join Cca dot
org. Fish said we are back. Hey, We're coming to you live

(01:10:45):
via the Toyota to your studio presentedby Sparks Toyota where the dealers always in
and we have had an enjoyable morningof just awesomeness. A couple things go
wrong, I tell you, superJenna Um, I heard you. We
were going back, but this placeis pretty big. Ye. So I
had to go track down the bashmastercaptain E yeah right, and I finally

(01:11:08):
found them. Hey, listen,I was hanging out with mister Stewart.
You were hobnobbing. Yes, Whenwhen mister Stewart asked questions you you answer
them? They gonna right. Wehad to talk to mister Stewart and I
just walked up and politely said, you know, we got to show what
to do here. Yeah you did. We're sorry. That's I'll tell you
what you know it. See,you know we've had some mistakes and I'm

(01:11:30):
just gonna say. One of ourlisteners texted and said, man, we
love that don't change it. Oh, our institute is part of our charm.
Hey listen. We are nine yearsof inexperience, but we love it
and that's why we have super Gennaback there keeping things organized. I knew
it was jj I knew. Ikept wondering when JJD was gonna show up.

(01:11:50):
Well, I'll tell you what. You know, we uh we,
but now we now do have totalk a little bit of fishing and uh
you know Merles and the fishing chartersthis week. I don't know if you
know us. They did catch them, pish. I saw that on the
days they got out and um,little river Chris Osman, you put it
on Facebook. So I'm gonna talkabout it. But if you into,

(01:12:11):
if you into the search of astriper, he did put that on there.
He threw it out there, didn'the He did. He put it
out there, man, and ithurt my feelings. It was a nice
one too. He had the littlelittle Scooby doos Man that was that was
a chunky dunk um yeah, Nick, Nick Walford was on the boat with
him. It's that time, boys, Yeah, it is. I mean,
you know, Tony and I wentlast year and I think we im

(01:12:34):
we gave it one full day.We did We didn't. Now would that
be remember that? Yeah, wedidn't. We didn't know what we should
doing. We didn't. We didn't. You need it. You should have
called a Brian Costale little man andjust got a tip from him. Well,
I got, we got tips fromseveral. He told me how to
do it. It's like real simple, I mean es basically, how you

(01:12:55):
trout fish dragon loris. Yep,that's what he said. You know what
was really sad? Huh? Wefished all day for nothing, and then
we have to look at a womanthat called up like an eighteen pounder off
or dot right where we were backin the day. What's the name of
that marina up there? Well, you got harbord Eate, you got cove.

(01:13:15):
It's not cricket cove. It's someone in between the two, oh
harber. Yeah, there's four marinasin one, three or four in one.
Yeah, I was I caught alighthouse. No, it's not Lighthouse
Marina. It's Grand Harbor Marina. Is it the big one where you go
inside, big big one? Yeah, Yeah, it's got the lighthouse that's
up there on the No, that'sthat's Lighthouse Marina. I don't know,

(01:13:36):
but it's a boat place. Iwas there one I was there and the
lady that works there likes to fishoff the dock bear and she caught a
monster striper. It had to betwenty five thirty pounds. Wow, I
mean right there on the right there, off the dock of the marina.
Well, so they swim around there, man, that's for dag on shore.
That's that. Well, I cantell you we're gonna have to get

(01:13:58):
back up there. And now wepulled a kenny. We did some recognance
on that. We did recognance recognance. Hey, you can't put a picture
up on Facebook and where you caughtthe fish because we went searching. I'm
gonna tell you that. I meanFacebook. Social media has changed fishing.
It has. Uh, it's alot. You know, you'll see a

(01:14:21):
lot more blurred out pictures than youused to. But we got so nitpicking
on figuring this thing out on thestrip trip. Yes, this is what
set the dock apart. Okay,A broken flagpole, yep, that's how
we found this dock for real.A broken flagpole that was off the dock

(01:14:44):
is how we figured out where thedock was and then it wasn't the pole
itself, it was the hole.It was the holder, the holder for
the that's awesome. Oh, thisone's got his phone up. I'm driving
docks till we found it. I'mlike, hey, we found it.
I'm done. You know I've doneit. I've always told the story.
You know how I taught myself tofish here in Georgetown. How I mean

(01:15:04):
I taught myself. I didn't haveanybody, you know, I got like
I just started coming down here. And I don't recommend that for everyone.
Don't try that at home, kids, No, but I'm gonna say you've
had a lot of success down here, very much. Man. I've never
been skunked in Georgetown, not once. You Oh, you shouldn't have said
that. But anyhow, remember howI was watching the Redfern Show and he

(01:15:28):
was fishing with Tommy Scarborough and theywere in the bay, they weren't out
in the ocean. And I actually, after the show was aired, I
saw it live the first time. Then he put it on his YouTube channel
and that's when I freeze framed it, man, and I blew it up.
You know, I took a screencapture and I blew it up and
I got the channel marker number offthe because you can see a red channel

(01:15:50):
marker behind him right in the background. I blew that bad boy up and
could read the channel marker number, and right then I knew where they were.
I'm looking at it on my chart. This is where they were,
Georgetown Winnyall Bay chart. I foundthat marker said right there where they were.
And the other way would have beento go out there and look for
the other twenty boats that were there. Yeah, that's remember. That's what

(01:16:12):
the guy here told me that firsttime I ever came to Georgetown to fish.
Man got bikini bottom hooked up tothe truck. Man. I'm excited,
nervous, nervous, and you know, I heard all the horror stories
about whin y'all Bay. But thatguy told me I had my nice little
chart with me man brand spanking new, you know. I told him,
I was like, good, firsttime I ever fishing here. You know,
I said, can you kind oflike just kind of give me a

(01:16:33):
spot or two where I could, you know, at least start to try.
And that's what he said. Hegoes, just go to where you
see all the boats. I said, thanks for that, tip man.
Well, I'm gonna tell you,you know, the greatest transition rodeo.
We've been busy with way ends overthe last week, and I'm really amazed.
This is another thing that that thatyou know, weatherwise, is that

(01:16:59):
the sheep's head and black drum arestill so thick on the jetties, because
I'm almost to the point of nowwondering a had they already gone and come
back, which doesn't seem that thatcould be possible yet because typically when I'm
really into the bigger fish in thatfifties foot of water is that last week
of February the first week of March, and it's when the numbers are up.

(01:17:21):
The fish are there, and we'renot even there yet, but they're
still catching them at the jetties. And I think it's because the water temperature
never got as low as it normallydoes. Im I think that the water
temperature got low, it did,it didn't stay low long. I don't
think I never got into the forties, did it. No? No,
no, no, no no,I don't know. Fifty two feet or

(01:17:44):
fifty three might have been the lowestthat I've seen so far. Tony,
you you've seen anything different. I'mtalking about Saltwater. Nope, no,
I don't think it's got any lowernet. But these fish breed and they
breed off shore. So why arethey not leave even to go to do
their thing? Their thing? Andgood? A question incomes Red Snapper.

(01:18:06):
You need Chris uh to call usand tell us a thing. I know
it's a fish biologist. Yeah, you know, he just doesn't like doing
this stuff. I'd love to havehim on anytime he wanted to know,
and he's so well sup. Buthe's done so great when he's been like
guest speaker to Grandstar and Saltwater before. He's very personable. Right, I
haven't we had him on? Idon't. I've invited him. That's it.
I'm gonna call him. I've invitedhim. Uh. You know,

(01:18:30):
some people, some people happen youknow that DNR is funny, dude,
They just don't. Some people don'thave faces for radio. I had to
think about it. He started methere for a second. Man, some
people just don't have faces for radio, Like, man, is that how
that works? Well? I youknow, having dn R on the show
is um a pleasure and honor becauseit is very tough for them to do

(01:18:53):
that. It is uh. Wehave had great circumstances with Sergeant Kevin Pardu
with with him as well as obviouslyTommy Buchanan. And you know, basically,
I mean I reached out to peopleand asked for the permission and they
did as well. But we alsoalways share great tips, great advice and

(01:19:17):
everything. Why wouldn't they want that? You know, but I understand liability
wise, if they say something wrongand blah blah blah, you know,
I guess they could come back toget them. But yeah, they could
be. I think they were atone time picky about who they let,
who they let talk. Yeah, who they let, you know, be
their representative in media, right, and so it is always great to have

(01:19:41):
them on and they do answer questions. The biologists would be great to have
them, and he can explain what'sgoing on with the sheep said. Sheep
said, Let's talk about the flounderin South Carolina, because if you didn't
notice, North Carolina will not havea plounder season once again, will not
have a flounder at all at all, not even of a season, but
not anything. They wrapped it.So guess what's gonna happen in South Carolina?

(01:20:04):
Here come all the North Carolina gonnabe transplanted to North Carolina in a
cooler Yep. Here they come here, come the tags. And there's a
lot of different people with opinions onthat. I'm just gonna say this much
that if I can go to NorthCarolina to fish, they can come here.
But but there may be some certainspecies that we need to have some

(01:20:27):
changes as far as what they're allowedto possess and everything else. But like
you said, the giggers up northare on the North End are gonna have
How about this, if you wantto come to South Carolina, get a
fishing licens five hundred dollars. Ilove it. I love it. Yeah,
Hey, that's a great deal. And we'll put it into fish habitat.

(01:20:49):
Yeah, I love it. We'llput that money into the fish habitat.
That would be great. That wouldput the brakes on them in it,
dude, There's a lot of thingsthat would put the brake on it.
But they're coming. It's gonna happen. And you know, I'll tell
anybody that's in the rodeo or thathas not signed up in the rodeo,
if you feel strongly that you couldgo catch a plounder right now. You

(01:21:12):
need to sign up right now,and you need to go spend the next
three days trying to catch a plunderbecause we have not had a flounder weighed
in now. I added plounder thismonth. I put pounder in because I
heard from somebody who caught six keepersback in January, and I said,
well that, you know, betweenall the pros that are signed up,
between all the real anglers that aresigned up in the eighty seven or ninety

(01:21:34):
one, whatever it is, nowsomebody can go catch a plunder. I'll
tell what I'm gonna do. I'mgonna get a fuit and boat club boat,
take it out for the day andgo straight to the tea hole.
Yep, that's what I call it. Now. I would go where Jason
took you. Hey, between youand me, and I know Jason is
not listening maybe, but between us, I'd go wherever Jason took you and
your buddies from North Carolina because itwas this time of the year and I

(01:21:57):
have fished that place since then atthis time of the year, I think
it got fished out. Well,I mean that was like I think once,
uh, I think I think Jason'sguys, you know, because they
share information, they want to eachother. I think they've just fished that
living brains out of that place becauseI couldn't catch a fish there again,
except I did catch one with James. Remember, Yep, James Howitt and
he caught that big old red fishthere too at that spot. But yeah,

(01:22:20):
if I was gonna go right now, I'd go straight to the tea
hole where Tony nightclocked this flounder duringthe trout tournament. Yep, I'd go
straight there. Man. Well, real quick, I know we've and for
a price, I'll tell you whereit's at. Give me a call.
We've admitted a lot, I'll sellit. A lot of our reports today

(01:22:41):
because of having special guests on andreal quick, I want to mention Pauli's
Island Outdoors for all your outdoor needs. Uh. You know we have wheel
on a couple of weeks ago. They are stocked everything you need, freshwater,
salt water, shooting, hunting andapparel. Whatever you need. Go
there. Two of our wonderful sponsorswho have incredible deals going on rigging ready

on our Facebook page. Go checkit out. It's worth the trip up
there to go see Kevin and hiscrew up there. Irby Street Sporting Goods
right now has another incredible This iswhat Todd always says. You know,
he's still trying to make room forthose spring clothes that are coming. He's

(01:23:25):
got to get rid of them.So he's got some incredible closing sales right

there. Ronald has the place stockedup over there. All your crappy rods,
brim rods, offshore, saltwater KingMichael live bait, everything you need,
he's got it. Over at Stallway'sBeat and Tackle in fresh water.

(01:23:45):
He's got all your bait. Iknow that the bait that went and caught
that limit a crappy yesterday came fromStallways Beating tackle. And go over and
visit with them, base boys.Beating tackle is getting cranked up. We
were over yesterday. Jay was orday before yesterday, Tony and I were
over and Jay was doing some housecleaning and getting things straightened up over there
for the busy season. It isright around the corner. Jay's got live

(01:24:09):
mud minas and can get you guyspointed in the right direction. And you
know they're him and Kelly are alwayswilling to share great advice, great advice
on what to do and where togo. Stop in and visit with them.
And who am I leaving out inour tackles? I think I got
everybody right you pretty much? Yeah, I got him. I think I
think I got him all. Ithink you went around the world on But

(01:24:30):
here we go. Here's another thing. Make sure you come down to marshals
and go come check come check outall these incredible boats down here. And
if you if you wait till thepollen stops falling, yep, then you're
gonna be waiting longer because uh,people are gonna be out. They're gonna
be buying boats. So you wantto get in front of that line and
get your name on the listing andget it done. Hey, And just
think maybe next week the bash matterand I might have a fish story to
