Speaker 1 (00:05):
Ripple Joe, Welcome back finally to another episode of Triple Koh,
this isn't We're in the high eighties now, I believe
last time I looked. Unfortunately, Max could not make it today,
sort of out a small family emergency. But you should
be back for our next episode. But of course we
(00:28):
have mister gyle Win quote joining us today. How are
you feeling. Are you feeling like a family man.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Fan?
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Fantastic? I'm feeling great. And I'll be the substitute blonde.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
For Dustin technically.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Oh yeah, right, you're right.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
You know what you're probably you're more blonde.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
I'm cutting. I'm gonna come my hair pretty soon, so
it's gonna go back to black.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
I forget what episode it was where we talked about
it's like, how many blonde characters are in Street Fighter five.
It's like sixty nine percent or something.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
A lot.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
It was so many, But now I want them all
back in Street Fighter six, like I want Maki, I
want uh Lucia, I want Alex, you know, I want
all them Cody, but yeah, street Fighter six is absolutely
in the news this week. But before we get there,
kind of out of nowhere, but I believe there was
(01:25):
a rumor like maybe two weeks before was announced. It's
saying Virtual Fighter is coming. And then when I see
that about you, when you see a rumor that virtual
fighters coming back, what you what is your first response
to that?
Speaker 2 (01:36):
You know? I when I first saw the tweet of
like virtual Fighters coming back, and then they had like
this trailer that the guy posted with it, I was like,
oh my god, it's new footage. But I didn't like
think about it, like, oh this is old footage, right.
But I think just the news in general is like
makes me really excited, just because I'm like, oh, finally,
like the rumors are true, or like the praying to
(01:59):
the gods of people just like oh please Virtue Fighter six,
please come, please come. It's finally come true. So I
think anything like if you put anything out like yeah,
clip or fake anything, I would just completely believe it
because I'm so like in that copium state where I
just want Virtue Fighter anything, virtual fighter news that just
(02:21):
to just give us something, give us like this tell
us that cures back, Like that's all you have. Just
tell us, you know, tell us something. I don't care.
That's how I feel.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
I Mean, I'm kind of kind of in the opposite
where I think it's kind of funny that, you know,
Virtue Fighter, a new Virtue Fighter is real, and it
just like dropped randomly when we've had so many like
lead ups like hey, Virtue Fighters come in, Virtue Fighters
come in. You know, We've had EVO, We've had E three,
(02:49):
We've had games like literally all of these events that
were like oh, evil just saying Virtue Fighter is definitely
gonna happen, and then it just drops like I literally
just get on Twitter and I'm just like, oh, Virtue
of Fighter is real. I mean cool, but it was
just like, oh, okay.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Like whenever I see this, this rumor that happens at
all these shows that you're saying, or like a Sega
guy like says, yeah, we're working on something, I go, bullshit,
that's not that's not true, that's not real because I'm
at that phase justin I don't believe nothing about nothing.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Nothing not right.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
So when that rumor, like a few weeks ago happened,
I was like bullshit. And then the trailer comes out
and I was like bullshit. I thought it was fake
because it's a brand new logo too. For what's it
called now rev Yeah, Revo. Sorry. So when I saw
(03:43):
the trailer, I was like, nah, that's someone just repackaging
of Final not Final Show Ultimate Showdown footage. And when
it said like little details about it, I'm like, is
this real? I still wasn't sure. So now that it
is actually official, yeah, Like I'm sure justin you're excited.
(04:03):
I'm sure you're excited too late? And is that is
that I'm assuming that's that's true.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
I mean, even if they just packaged you know, the
last off five, the one that came out on PS
four and stuff, even if they just like put that
on uh Steam, I think everyone would be happy. But
the fact that, yeah, we're getting a new balance update
and rollback. I yeah, this is especially because I feel
(04:30):
like Teking eight is a bit controversial on the timeline.
It seems, you know, this is the perfect chance for
another three D fighter to come in and be like,
hey there's other options there.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Finally, now very good point. While I'm obviously happy about this,
I'm still now I'm still like, why does this have
to be a half step? And I don't even mean
I want like Virtual Fighter six, obviously I do, but
Sega is still like probably unsure, But why is it
Steam only? Why is not Revo on PS five and
(05:07):
maybe Steam together? And why can't it at least be
on Xbox, Like, why can't it be on all these
three platforms? It reminds me of Ultimate Showdown being on
I think PS four exclusively. It wasn't PS five game,
it was you could play.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Yeah, it was, it was you could play on you
could play on PS five.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
That's the only thing that gives me pause. I'm like,
why exactly, why can't you just put all three versions
out that seems like they manageable.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
We probably have to, They probably have the lowest budget
possible and be like all right. You know, it was
like there was like ten Bucks do something with it.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Fighting games. We are fighting game fans, you know. I
was just reminded today is apparently like the first the
thirteenth anniversary of King of Fighters thirteen coming out on consoles,
and I just was reminded that King of Fighters thirteen
with rollback exists switch in PS four and not PC.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Uh the final No, I didn't know I had rollback. Yeah,
the consoles. Yeah, but the Steam the Steam had a name, right,
it was called like Steam Edition. Yeah, that never got rollback.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
And so yeah, this new release that came out, I
don't even oh that's right, thirteen.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
For some reason, I thought you said eleven my back. No, no, yeah, thirteen.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
I wish, but uh, you all playing that right now?
Speaker 3 (06:26):
So yeah, and so rollback exists for this very beloved
game on Switch in PS four, which is cool. A
lot of people are on PS four, but like, come on,
what are we doing?
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Like but okay, but look the Steam version. Problem with
the Steam version, it's kind of it's kind of buggy.
You know, when you first buy the game, it doesn't
really work properly. You gotta put a little code in
it to like lower the speed.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Oh yeah, I remember.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Yeah, I was. It was driving me in sales, like
why is my characters moving like times five speed? The
whole entire time. It just drove me insane for the longest.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
There's there's this one game there's this sequel to Dynamite
Cop Dynamite Cop like Asian Dynamite when you're on like
a cruise ship, and it never got ported, and every
time I try to emulate it, it runs at like
a thousand frames per second, and all the normal tricks
that you do to for something to run it that
that the FBS it should. It just never works, and
(07:17):
I'm like, I want to play this so bad. It's
the silliest dynamite cop that. Uh yeah, the I do
own the switch version of this new KF thirteen, but
I just got it just to labor whatever. I didn't
even know that it was supposed to have rollback. That's
you know, if it does anyone know if it's good.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, I played it, Yeah, I played it. It had rollback.
I think I played Somebody for Mexico. It worked as intended.
But the problem with it is that the stat the
stage is a it's just a static background. It doesn't
it doesn't do to move. Yeah, so like if you're
playing online, it's just it just frozen. Like it's just
literally just a wallpaper.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Being fighting a fans. You got one step forward maybe
maybe like a one step forward.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Thinking about one step forward?
Speaker 3 (08:05):
Uh something something else. I always has to go wrong.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
So in the kind of features list, the Ultimate edition
of this legendary game as rolled back net in the
code four K visuals, updated character model, stages of cinematics
was kind of interesting because Ultimate Showdown was already you know,
pretty updated uh, the pinnacle of virtil Fighter and battle
out your favorites in the rank mode training versus sectional competition.
(08:30):
So yeah, just like a Steam version with some updates
and like a new you know, fancy kind of intro.
I again, the only thing really to complain about is
again why ignore consoles altogether? But I think you guys
are right. The only thing could be money. Let's just
dump this on Steam see how well it does. And well,
Ultimate Showdown was free for like a few months right
(08:53):
on the PS four and then it.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Was like PS plus I believe it was plus.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Yeah, but then it became like you have to pay
for right, doesn't he remember.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Twenty bucksine bucks? I think it was twenty bucks ninety
nine nine.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
So probably just enough for them to go, hey, maybe
let's do something else, but not so high that, you know,
we have a whole lot of confidence. But technically this
means Herada now has to put a virtual fighter character
into techan because you said as such, So Prada, you're
(09:24):
not listening. But if you were get on that.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Who would you who? What?
Speaker 1 (09:29):
What virtual fire would you want to see in teken?
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Hmm?
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Too slow? The answer is wolf Hawkfield.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
I was gonna say Wolf because you know, whenever I
think of Canadian fighting and characters, I don't know why
I think of Canadian fighters. I'm always thinking because I'm
always thinking of like, I'm always thinking of you, and
it's like, you know, I never realized there's not a
lot of Canadians in fighting.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
There's very few. There's there's wolf There's Sas Squat from
Dark Soccers. There's Maxima apparently from KF that's so fIF
that's weird. But wolf A has Canadian maple leaf like
red makeup on his head, so that's the thing. But
I just want him to fight King. But honestly, a.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Couple characters Duke versus King already though.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Yeah, but he's not Teching eight. You're right, and he
was deconfirmed, right.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Yeah, that's true, so he doesn't have a rival if
you think about it.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Yeah, I would say probably like Sarah or something, Sarah Sarah.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Sarah will be good, like.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
Yeah, I think she would be popular.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
I just don't think a Kira is interesting enough, like
you know, no hate against the Kira kagay Kaga.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Maybe I mean Jackie, Jackie is a classic.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Jackie would be good too.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
You're like a tag character where it's like Jackie and
Sarah together and they swap in and out or some
crazy ship like Carl. Yeah, yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
Got Kits and they got you know, they got Kennon
Chunn in there, you know, the two characters.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
That's my thing is like my first initial thought was Jackie,
but I'm like, man, but Jackie's kind of like boring.
But it's like, well that's you kind of have to
do that, right, You can't just.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Mean he's the man that says, yeah, everyone knows that line,
let's talk more action, but I can't do it as well.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Yeah, but but yeah, it's more iconic from the stage
transition in d A five than it is from Virtual
Fighter nowadays, just because it's so over the top. But
uh yeah, like I guess some of the crazier characters
is some of the newer characters, like if you get
Jean Jean Kujo or or Brad Wong or go like don't.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
It would be awesome? Go would be awesome.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Go and Dragon off.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Really yes, there's so there's there's lots of options. I mean,
even Vanessa, like I honestly, aside from maybe Lao and
Chundy and Akira, it.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Is just that would be interesting.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
But that's like Wang could possibly Chundy would be broken though.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Anytime you add new mechanics to a technically the tech
of meets community loses loses their ship. That's what I was.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
About to think of that. How would how would Bandai
make drinks like crazy Like he drinks and just gets
heat like automatically or something.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I'm saying, just drinking straight heat. So yeah, that's that's
definitely something to look forward to. I hope whatever the
pricing is for that and whatever, that it's successful and
we can actually get like at least revo Onto like
all consoles that can run it. So moving on to
that street fight of six News, the Balance patch. We're
(12:34):
originally going to record this episode of the day before
and the Balance patch actually came out last night. Uh again,
if you are a Lily Mame, Lily Maine, just pour
one out. You got nothing. Once again, she got a combo. Yep,
she sure did.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
She got a combo. But you know it is it's
just I truly believe that can never be a a
higher tier character than wherever she is right now.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
That's just no matter of improvements.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
It's just too hard.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
I think they would need to. I'm already not a fan.
I'm already not a fan of like her design. Yeah,
the mechanic wise, I think it's just a little boring.
But it's like, yeah, what do you do besides like
it's like it's like fixing Jamie where it's like you're
you're messing with his fundamental design.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Yeah, it's like you remember a street feart of four
with Sep where he had to jump d d awesome
jump heavy punch. They would have to physically remove that
move and replace it with a brand new move. That's
what they would have to do with Lily, like right,
remove something to give her something new that makes her better.
But like right right now, for a current toolkit, she
(13:48):
will always stay the same no matter what.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
And a patch like this is considered like a mid
like sort of patch. It's not tiny, it's not giant.
I'd think a season patch where it's like we're adding
new Cannis is the only time where you could possibly
do something because, like you're saying, it's like for her,
it's like a page one rewrite, Like no, we have
to retool everything, and they're not going to do that
for this patch. Re you got a lot of stuff.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
I like his hop into Tatsu and stuff so good. Like,
I just I love giving Reu movement and cool options.
Other than I'm not a fan of modern Street Fighter five,
Street Fight six for you, where his thing is like
I just hit you extremely really hard. I like giving
real cool, interesting stuff, So I'm a big fan of that.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
And it's yeah, I like the sauce with the like
you said, the hop kick because it at least it
kind of reminds them of just like in the Alpha
where forward medium kick was like a huge thing with
you where you use that move a lot to advance forward.
So he definitely hits hard and he can use that
move to really help his options. So that's yes. I
(15:00):
mean they're trying to really make Reu better than Ken. Yeah,
that's what seems like.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Just to get on a Reu soapbox just real quick.
I just I, like I said, I don't like Reu's
design philosophy modern design where he's like I'm just gonna
hate you really hard. That's my showdown. I'm kind of boring.
I love like how Justin mentioned in Alpha and st
he has a lot of interesting movement options because he's
(15:26):
always trying to like you know, Fireball trap you that
was like the design philosophy back then. So you know,
he had Ford Medium Kick, he had his Solar Plexus,
he had his Light Tops two as like just they
weren't just attacks, they were movement options. They were ways
to get across the screen, which is stuff that I
feel like has been kind of missing with Reu. So
(15:47):
seeing that change, I was like, I don't even play
for you, but I'm like, thank god.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
It's almost as if as he gets older, he's not
learning from any other characters, like almost story wise, so
he's not incorporating anything like fancy or different into into
like his kid or whatever. So now he's like almost
like goken levels of like I don't need to learn
from nobody, learn from, learn from Terry learned some. Yeah,
speaking to Terry, I was hoping for anything, like he
got some stuff but nothing too crazy.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Uh No, a lot of people like him now. They
gave him better combos mid screen. Uh so he hits
a bit harder now and they actually made like standing
heavy punch pretty useful. So the changes didn't seem like
on paper it sounded great, but in action, the really
really really good, Like his corner the combos he could
(16:36):
do in corner can be done mid screen now pretty much.
So they gave him a lot more damage when it
comes to that. So I think that's pretty cool. Uh.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
And Cammy obviously of us, has always been a very
high tier definitely got some nerves.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Bit smoked, but like she got smoked, but.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Not enough that I think she's just she's gonna drop
very much, right.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
I mean, Okay, so there are nine Cammis currently qualify
for capcomcom. Okay, I think that number of nine Cammies
will definitely be less than nine going into cap coom coom.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
That's fair, that's fair.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Yeah, because like her od dive kick, I'll wake up,
you can't really comble from back medium punch anymore. So
that's huge. Uh oddp doesn't side switch. Everyone is like
extremely upset about.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
That Camy discord, like frothing at the mouth against this.
They're angry.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Yeah, And the crouching medium punch, I mean that needed
to be fixed for sure, but like a lot of
her her changes were you know, I was like really
surprised about that because like I mean, she's overall like
it's not like she hits like a truck. Yeah, you know,
it's not like she's she hits you a truck, you
die from it. She's like a speedy character. She hits
you multiple times and everything, and her mobility was like
(17:52):
her her best tool. Set to the fact that they
kind of like I would say, made her, make her
made her even weaker, which is a pretty surprise choice.
I would say compared to other characters, I would say,
that's more of a problem. But I guess they looked
at kap Holm Cup results, the qualifying results, They're like, yo, okay,
I used the problem, not Rashid, not a Kuma. So
(18:13):
there's that. Then Ed oh Man, sorry for Ed, rest
in peace.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
That that sucks.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
That's a recipe. He's a hard character to play too. Yeah, yeah,
which is surprising because I'm like, I always felt like
if you became a really good ED player, like you
worked hard to become a really good ED player. But
now they're like, yeah, it sucks to be an D
player now.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
I always appreciate the the verbiage around the patch notes
and saying this was not our design philosophy with this character.
This was not intended like instead of it, you know,
like this move is just nerved or the plus frame
or a minus frame at least there's like a little
bit explanation, but it's like some of it it still
seems like, well that makes the character like way less
(18:55):
interesting or Okay, yeah, I can't fight you against your intent.
But at the same time.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
Yeah, it's funny because it's like obviously, you know, getting
like detailed patch notes for like most fighting games with
like developer and tent like, Hey, our design philosophy is
we want this character to act like that. It's kind
of new for fighting games. It is, So it's nice,
but it is like, well, you're still wrong though, Yeah,
you don't get it.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
But when it feels like there's a person talking to you,
kind of just want to be like I want to
talk to you and tell you that maybe this is
off starting off on the wrong foot for this character.
It's not doing them any favors. I think the big
thing is everyone asking for something to be done about
throw loops, but then they actually made throw loops slightly
(19:44):
better with the elimination of jump canceling.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
I believe, yeah, jump cancel Comanthros Yeah, yeah, so that
was a option for some characters to kind of like
stop throw loops, but still like it's a guest, right,
it's not like it's a clear answer. They removed that
and and that was actually something that's hard to execute.
But I think that's a Capcom thing to do. Any
like tech that's like developed by players that can be like,
(20:12):
you know, used in like competitive play that a lot
of like I would say, competitive players use, but the
common player would not use. They want to remove that
situation because they want everybody to have access to the
same type of tools, because I don't think the common
player or the casual player is going to learn how
to jump, cancel SPD, but they can learn how to
(20:32):
throw loop somebody, because that's really easy to understand. So
I would say that's a kind of sucks. It's they've
been doing that street fight of five. Anytime you know,
some player makes some groundbreaking discovery of a new technical thing,
Capcom's like, oh, thanks for telling us, next gone Gone.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Yeah, that seems to be the way. Any other thoughts
on the pats in general from either of you.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
I didn't really to look through everything yet, but you know,
I just see the Twitter like the main ones, the
main characters, so it kind of sucks to see like,
like like I mentioned, earlier, Ed to they just like
lose its legs. I rather Cammy loses his legs before
Ed does. And I'm just really surprised that again, Rashid
(21:20):
just escaped, escaped, escaped from the the nerf hammer. Akuma
also escaped from too, like he didn't really get too
many nerves as well too, still really good. So and
that was also Bison. Bison just got a damaged nerve.
So I'm just like really surprised that all these easier
characters that has way easier ways to kill you compared
to Ed. They got a slap on the wrist compared
(21:42):
to Ed and he just got like demolished into everything.
And I think it's also like they pay attention to
probably what Japan rank is.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Yeah I've heard whatever said, yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
So whatever Japan is, Like these characters are like, ope,
these characters are getting nerve right so out that like
they mentioned that Ed and Cammy were the ones just
running Japan's you know rank match leader boards a lot
compared to other characters, and I'm just like, damn, I
don't know if that's like out of touch or like correct,
(22:14):
but you know, it just doesn't seem right.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
Yeah, I definitely think Street Butter six in Japan just
seems like a different world almost. It is, like, apparently
it's the most popular game in the in the ever
over there. It's like a cultural phenomenon all this stuff.
But I feel like if you're a developer who's running
a million dollar tour where someone is going to win
(22:37):
a million dollars, you should pay attention to the tour
where someone is going to literally change their life, yeah,
forever from winning. So maybe, you know, maybe Battle Hub
isn't where we should be looking, But I don't know.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
On the topic of that, I'm sure you've seen the
sentiment lately is that people are maybe like getting like
a little just kind of board with with the moment
to moment gameplay and wants like you know, uh something
to refresh your drive system, et cetera. And I'm just like, yeah, maybe,
but like not now, like that's if that's stuff's gonna happen.
(23:16):
It's gonna happen like in that in between like seasonal DLC,
like you might see that. But even then, it's like
Street Fighter five didn't get any like really big things
until the last like what two three years of its life.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Yeah, but that was when like another team came in.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
That's true, that's really that's true. But do you feel
do you feel like right now, like competitive wise or
just for your own like plane that like, yeah, things
are getting kind of stale and it needs some freshening
up across the board, or you think it's fine as is,
like you know, just let let them, let them cook
as it were.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
I think it's pretty stale, like pretty much the only
thing that they do is like, all right, we sat
legend rink both for it, right, that's kind of really it.
So I think having a patches is always really fun
just because you get to play with new tools and
everything and you pray to God your character does not
get nerved or you pray to God that your character
(24:12):
gets buffed. Either way, I think like you need something
new and they're trying. We're not. We don't really care
about what do you call those those fighting paths with
the reason I don't. I don't dravators. I don't care
about stuff like that, But I care about like if
they have if they can have more events, like I
know they added Giant attack this si R and Bison.
(24:34):
I think that's really cool. But just having a balance
patch and maybe more I guess better better timeline for
DLC characters because I don't know when we're gonna get
the when we're gonna get my like, like, is it
gonna be this, this, this, this win this twenty twenty
four winter or.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
Or like February in my head, Oh man, that sucks.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
Yeah, that's how I feel.
Speaker 1 (25:01):
And then uh, Elena is like in the Spring or
some ship so like. And but even then with like characters,
it's like, yeah, everyone plays a new character for a bit,
but it's like, you know, they don't usually disrupt the
game too much, especially in Street Fighter six, but yeah,
you know, I I think some mechanics are a new
mode or or something is not like like the certain
(25:21):
Bison thing. It's like, you know, it's temporary or whatever.
It's still neat. And there's like this shin Bison that
you that you can unlock. I think someone just found
a way to unlock them.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
And differently, yeah, it's like again, but what do you
what do you feel about the game Latin in general?
Speaker 3 (25:43):
I mean, I'm not on the level of someone in
Capcom Cup or you know, justin or anything, but I
as time does go on, I feel like I do
kind of have a lot of issues with Street Fighter six,
like gameplay whiter, but I every time I try to
(26:03):
think of a way of like, oh, like this is
how I would fix it or what I would do,
I like I can't come up with Like street Fighter
six is like the one game where I feel like
I'm not smart enough to make better for me personally,
if that makes sense, because it's like, well if you
change this and this sucks, and then that's horrible, you know.
So it's like, I don't know, I really love the
(26:26):
idea of Street Far six. I think the drive gauge
is you know, it's like so interesting as like a mechanic,
but right now I'm just not enjoying playing or like
watching it when I see you know, of course the
one randomly flashed green and then they dump their entire
bar and then they do a level three that you
(26:47):
have to watch for the one hundred time. I don't
know if you guys have ever done this, but I've
been at a local where someone hits me with a
level three and I'm pressing start like thinking like can
I just like I just can I skip this? You know?
Like so I don't know, I'm not you know, not
saying the bad is the game is bad or anything,
but yeah, there's just I'm I'm glad I'm not playing
(27:09):
it for money or anything, because I probably I lose
my mind as locals playing it for you know, so
I can't imagine with you know, steaks, actual steaks.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
Right, I guess youa like like for me, when Terry
got released and then I did his old world tour mode,
I love that. And then when I started playing him
against friends and online, I kind of like that quite
a bit. But then that that was it, Like I
didn't want to, you know, go back to any other characters,
and I stopped playing, like you know, I stopp playing
(27:41):
the game after you know, Terry was released, like you know,
maybe a little less than a month, and I was like, okay,
well could the other characters. I've seen what they can do,
and I'm just not super interested and I just wanted
to explore Terry a little bit. And I guess because
of the rest of the DLC, your characters all like
I'll I'll go back for that, But that's just that case.
And there's like Mortal Kombat one, then there's like tench
(28:03):
and eight where the characters that are coming out there,
I'm like, I'm not really interested in playing any of them.
So Street Fighters getting by just because of the character choice.
But if it wasn't like when Ed and Aki and
Rashid came out, I did not. I barely played the
game at all because I didn't really care for any
of those three characters. That's just me. But like, you know,
(28:24):
if we get another season of DLC and it's like
characters I don't particularly have any interest in the gameplay
is not enough to pull me in to try them, unfortunately,
Like that's kind of where I'm at.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
But yeah, there's just a lot of you know, homogeneous
game plans. I feel like, Yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Mean, if you're not if you're not living in Japan,
the game's not you know, the game has obviously stagnant
when it comes to just viewership and everything. We're regarding
Street Fair six.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
Yeah, in terms of well maybe not bad vibes, but
controversial vibes, the bizarre stuff going on with DBZ sparking
and tournaments and disqualifications that are really really messy. Justin
you're shaking your head, lay and so you know, but
(29:17):
justin you you caught the wind of this stuff.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Right, I mean, like they're having this like world tournament,
right tournament power I guess for this yeah thing. And
I read that like both players got DQ because they
were running away, So it's making the gameplay, you know,
like lame, not exciting and not the dragon ball ish
And I'm like, mind, I'm like, but this game is
(29:41):
not really it's not really meant to be competitive, I guess,
you know my personal point of view. Uh, it's more
of like a fun party game type of thing. So
of course there's gonna be characters where they're just gonna
run away forever and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
So yeah, like the Android characters can have movement that
the other characters don't, and they can they can abuse
it and they one. So maybe maybe Land, do you
know the details of this a bit better because I'm
going to go off the top of my head, but
maybe you know them a little bit more precisely.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
Yeah, I just know that Android nineteen and Android twenty
ye are like a big issue, and it's because androids.
So everything in Spikan zero, like every mechanic costs meter
and meter is kind of like a bit hard to
come by. But androids, they they can't key charge but
they just gain meter automatically. Android nineteen has an ability
(30:40):
called a false courage that gives him like hyper armor
for fifteen seconds, and if the androids, if an Android
grabs you or Android nineteen twenty and thirteen or whatever,
if they grab you, they gain meter and they gain
health back. So they pop this install and then there's
like movement where you're just like flying up and find
(31:03):
out yeah yeah yeah, which is like the best way
to just like not engage with anything. So yeah, you
pop that install, you run away, and apparently bandied whoever's
running this tournament. Someone at Bandai was like, hey, you're
you need to like play seriously or you're gonna get disqualified,
(31:24):
and the guy was like, I.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Am one of them, or both of them were asked,
can you please switch characters so you're not one of
these androids? And then I.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
Think I thought only one of them was asked, Okay,
I only I only saw. I could be wrong, but
I saw this dude's tweet where he was like, yeah,
like they forced me to switch and I lost.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Yeah, that's that's the things. But the other the other
player got to keep their Android character because it's like, yeah,
they're both doing it, sure, but uh so they do it,
and then the other Android character that one goes on
into the tournament, and then after the tournament's over, he's
then disqualified from entering the next tournament because they're like
(32:09):
he's gonna know, well, he didn't even say what the
reason was. They're just like, you're disqualified because you went
against official rules, and he's just like what is going on?
Like he's kind of laughing about it, but like, yeah,
what is going on? The overriding thing the sentiment being like,
just stop having official tournaments with stakes for this game.
(32:29):
It's not that type of game, like just insaid.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
They they actually had like TNS right, Tampa ran a
tournament for this and I think they said it lasted
like nine hours because some of the players are using
Android nineteen and just running away doing the whole thing,
and like they just it's it was forever, last of forever.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
It's uh cvs one or something, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
It's like like two guyles in like street fight or
four just fighting each other and then it's not the
most exciting match in the world old but then calcom
like elbows on, you got you gotta stop taking guy.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
You gotta gotta jump at them jump each other.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Like they're just coaching them with like advice to make
them lose or make the game look slightly more exciting. Yeah,
it does show. Whoever's like giving these orders, either Namco,
band or in the tournament is like, yeah, this is
a bad look, Like this looks worse than the gameplay
doing that too, Like you have to play the game
in a certain way for you to be in the tournament.
(33:33):
Like no, that that does not fly. So really weird thing.
And I kind of think that's not gonna go away
until someone actually makes like a statement or enco or Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
I mean I would want you know, I'm a Sparking Zero.
I'm not gonna say i'm I'm a believer, but you know, people,
if people want to play the game compatively, it's like, yeah,
I would like to see, you know, I want to
I want to see some cool stuff as well. So obviously,
like I want Bandaid to fix it. You know, if
this is an issue that just sucks, I want them
(34:07):
to fix it because, like like I said the last
time I was on this podcast, you know, Sparking zero
has like legit tech. There's like option selects and you know,
like the perfect parry is like a two frame window
or something ridiculous. You know, there's like there's some cool
stuff here that could be interesting, but yeah, we also
can't go into sparking zero thinking. You know, like there
(34:30):
was the whole like, oh this game could be at
Ebo debate. It's like, all right, come on, man, like.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
When you have when you have over one hundred characters,
like things are gonna happen like this though, Like there's
so many variables.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
A game can exist and just be like a cool,
fun game and we could play it like competitively, we
could have tournaments for it, but like we shouldn't just
automatically have the expectations that this is gonna be the
next big thing. You know. Yeah, play it because it's
cool and fun, you know.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
And it's like the most successful dragon Ball game and
a long time or something like that. They've posted up
some amazing numbers.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
Which is like why I think Bandai is like kind
of trying to well shit, because like I mean, so
I mean this just goes on with like you know,
there's kind of like I would say, like a dragon
Ball renaissance that they're pushing right now. You know, the
new anime has come out and stuff, and like, you know,
it seems like Sparkan zero. The game is getting like
more like marketing and stuff than like the new anime.
(35:26):
It's probably because it makes them so much money, you know. Yeah, yeah,
I'm sure this is like to a bunch of suits
in Japan. This is like like the horrible and I
wish Capcom solt throw loops and not the same thing.
I don't know, so.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
Yeah, you know. Further, I guess not so great ish news. Well,
you know, before we get there. Uh, Max definitely absolutely
played as ghost Face in Mortal Kombat one God Bless them.
Definitely has more impressions and maybe we'll get to that
next time. But at least two of you watched videos
(36:07):
of ghost his gameplay. For me, I'll just get my
piece out. It's really cool that the other two ghost
Faces are based on Kira and Cobra. That's fucking awesome.
And that that's it. That's all. I you know, like
I have no opinions one way or another because just
knifey stab guy is like I was bored of looking
(36:28):
at in Rambo gameplay that like, and any character really
that just like I have a knife and like Kira's
thing is that she uses knife, so I get why
she was put in there, but it's like I can
only look at so much of that gameplay where I'm
just like, Okay, cool, but what are your guys impressions
of what you've seen of mister Face.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
I like knife stabby guy. Okay, yeah, just because like
the way he attacks it's and the way he combos
and the way he kind of mixes you up. It's
very Uh. I would say Combat ten character is in
terms of like high lows. So I was already a
big fan of it, and I just think ghost Face
is a really cool character. You know, maybe he might
(37:09):
not be as strong if you think about lore wise
compared to Mortal Kombat one characters, but he does he
does fit the gameplay really well, especially with just the
use of assists as well too. And what I also
find found funny is that you know, I love when
interests doesn't they don't really test the some things, so
(37:32):
you know how it's like when he does is, uh,
what do you call it? Fatal not fatal blow?
Speaker 3 (37:37):
What?
Speaker 2 (37:37):
What's what's what's the super team call again?
Speaker 1 (37:39):
X Ray x Ray?
Speaker 2 (37:41):
There you go. Then you know when he does X ray.
He he brings in the other ghost Face, right, so
if you inter because there's like armor and it's not
it's not considered invincibility if you kill ghost Face while
he's doing that, like literally the other ghost Face comes out,
but then he starts running away like a cartoon character.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
Yeah, yeah, I saw that.
Speaker 2 (38:02):
So so I saw that and I just couldn't stop laughing,
and I watched it at least like twenty more times
because I'm just like, this looks so bad, but it's
just so funny at the same time, and it's very
just and arrest the whole entire time to.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
What about you, mister wind quote.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
I licensed Mortal Kombat. Guess character has not hit for
me since Mortal Kombat ten, like like I liked you know,
Alien Predator and leather Face and like ever since then,
you know, yeah, like you said, it just even ignoring
(38:43):
like the power level, you know stuff. It's like I
just I mean, Scream is a cool movie, but yeah,
I don't know, it's it's not for me. I'll just
take that.
Speaker 1 (38:53):
We had said on the last episode that maybe part
of the reason why they even went with ghost faces
because the new screen movie was supposed to be released
around this time or like you know, in a month
or two something like that, but then that movie kind
of fell apart and then they kind of all got canceled,
so they're rebooting the whole fucking thing doing some other storylines.
So maybe that's the reason why they even picked them.
(39:14):
But at the end of the day, it's like, you know,
it's another horror character that they want to get in there.
But it's like, you know, I'm fine with ghost Face.
But again, it's just like you know, a guy with
a knife, right, or like several people with a knife,
And it's like, can we not get Candy Man or
hell Raiser, Like you could look at and.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
You want some powers.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
I want some powers man like something crazy like you
know the and and even Omni Man and like uh
and uh Homelander. It's like, yeah, they're you know, they
definitely have differences, but they're they're still pretty similar. So
like just to have someone that used something crazy would
would be cool. It's like you look at Dead by
Daylight and they get like a new horror character like
literally every month and they've gone then they have them
(39:54):
all like they have Zeno morph like they like the
only person they don't have is Jason, so I guess
and R has has them up on that, but it's like, yeah,
I'm just you know, the fatalities are cool is he
turns into a vulture for his animality and I'm just like,
you know, that's not doing it for me. And the
next deal, see, character's still not doing it for me.
(40:15):
Like Conan cool, he's got a sword.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
Listen, Max love him?
Speaker 1 (40:21):
Okay, I know he does. I know. I remember that
one Halloween Max dressed up as Conan. I remember that
and the other guy, the T one thousand, Like that's
really still goes over my head. Why we're picking the
T one thousand in this day and age?
Speaker 2 (40:36):
Okay, but what if he does?
Speaker 1 (40:39):
What if?
Speaker 2 (40:39):
What if he what if his dash acts like Glaciers
from Killer Instinct where he like comes up from the
ground and comes up.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
That would be cool because of gameplay, just because it
would be come on, but also, like like you said,
you love when interest doesn't testing, so he knows what
could happen if a character turned into it'll.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
Be cool, right puddle and then come up from the
ground like place your dp.
Speaker 1 (41:01):
I love where your head's at. That's wrong they're just
gonna look at when the T one thousand would run
in Terminator two, he would run like this, like he's
putting his hands up. And that's how n RS animates
the characters running like it's just gonna look like ghost
Face what you just describe when he's running away. So
you know, and again I know that they they have
(41:23):
you know, there's there's there's you have to consider the
license holder, and there's probably very strict timeline for getting
all these characters. And I've seen people like over the
last couple of weeks been like, Oh, why the fuck
isn't the scary movie was up Face for him not
in it. I'm like, dude, they're the license holder is
not going to approve the parody movie version of his mask.
(41:46):
I'm sorry, Yeah, I would have been Godlike, there's no
way they're a getting through with that. With that said,
it's still cool the amount of accessories that that with
a character that's whose design is very simple, like and
getting approved by a license holder, they're able to do
a lot with the masks and prints on his robe
and everything. So at least that stuff's cool. But it's like, yeah,
(42:09):
this is rough.
Speaker 3 (42:10):
I will say that. I mean, if there's one thing
that Mortal Comment one is knocked out of the park,
I still love, like, you know, the pre fight dialogues.
Oh it's also good and like so yeah and so
ghost faces. You know, obviously his whole thing is like
fourth wall breaking, so and characters are already breaking the
fourth wall. So like you know, his with like Johnny
and stuff. Yeah, that's awesome. Like I you know, I
(42:34):
love watching that ten minute video then not thinking about
it again.
Speaker 1 (42:37):
Yeah, whenever there's a new character, I at least I
always look at all the interaction stuff just just to
see because there's always at least a couple that are
just actually really clever or just you know, none of
them are ever like bad, like there's something just kind
of like meh or whatever. But yeah, like and leading
into that seems going from a rumor at least not confirmed,
(42:58):
that the whole Chaos reins DALC may have not really
performed very well to Warner Brothers expectations and that has
possibly led to there being no Combat Pack three and
that those plans have been canceled just which is really
if this turns out to be true, is really like
(43:20):
hard to hear, like yeah, we've We've already talked about
on this very show, and lots of people talk the
other places that people are just not into Mortal Kombat one.
They've either dropped it or never picked it up to
begin with, because you know, they're ere there, not a
fan of the cameo system, or they're not a fan
of the rebooted storylines and all looks for the characters.
But Ed was always very very proactive and saying we're
(43:43):
just going to support the shit out of this game.
There's gonna be more story stuff, there's gonna be more characters,
you know, saying that we're in here for the long haul.
But of course he doesn't have all the power. Obviously,
it's the publishers, so WB Games, and even then a
few weeks before this, WB put out a statement saying
we're gonna be focusing on four core franchises like Batman,
(44:07):
Mortal Kombat, Harry Potter, and Fourth Thing. I don't remember
what fourth Thing was. So if this turns out to
be true and it's like, yeah, you know, even if
it didn't sell that great, it's like it's still Mortal Kombat.
Like you're still gonna get some people still playing like
a certain percentage is still gonna keep chugging along and
(44:27):
at least buying the characters. So I I feel like
this seems like maybe rumblings were having about this, But
I'd be really shocked if they just come out and
announce in like six months, like oh yeah, that's all
canceled and we're just moving on like that. Would that
would to me look worse than just continuing on, especially
when you're Warner Brothers and you have money to burn, you.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
Know, It's it would be surprising. I Like it's still
a rumor and everything, but like what's not a rumor
is that they announced that they're doing another season competition
for Mortal Kombat one. Okay, so it just seems like
if they're going to put more money into the community
for the competitive side, like I just I would be
(45:11):
surprised that they would just not launch like future DLC
for future characters or future content. You know.
Speaker 1 (45:16):
Yeah. The only thing about that is that's like more
of an immediate like short term thing versus another combat
pack is still like would theoretically still be way off.
So and even the rumor stated like here's like character
like here's canceled characters it's like, I really, when you
start throwing character names around, I start not believe in it,
(45:38):
Like I'm sorry. Like you know, over the years, like
since Mortal Kombat, like ten was being tested where I
live in Montreal, and I'd always run into some random
guy in the subway that I kind of knew and
was working on it and would just say, what DLC
characters are coming, and you'd be like, oh, yeah, Terminators
in it, which was oh, you.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
Got the leaks, you got the leaks from the train station.
Speaker 1 (45:59):
Yeah, those are the nastiest of leagues. But like I
heard that Ninja Turtles were in the mix at some
point for like an Injustice game, but it took like
a long time for that to happen. And when that
actually happened, I was like, Oh, that's sick that they're there.
And I'm like, oh my god, I remember like two
years ago someone told me that that might happen.
Speaker 2 (46:18):
So on the train.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
On the train, that's crazy, Yeah, subway rumors. But yeah,
like again, I think it looks really bad. Like, you know,
even if they're they're planning to do another fighting game
and Injustice three or a Brandon new thing, it just
sets the precedent that all WB will don't bother with
a WB game if you want long term support, And
(46:41):
that was kind of the thing with Mortal Kombat eleven
to a point, like it kind of ended a little
bit when people were like, you know, maybe not coming
around to it more, but it didn't seem to have
this big drop off that MK one is going under.
But what do you guys feel if well, Lane, I
think Justin already said, but Laane, what do you feel
they just six months they go, oh, yeah, that's it's done.
Speaker 3 (47:03):
I mean, I don't even think in six months they
would say it's done. I think they just I just
don't think there will be like any news if like
that's the case, which like sucks, But I mean yeah,
like I know, especially on like the more competitive side
of the FGC, like in like interest games are usually
like kind of like a punching bag. Yeah, but like, yeah,
(47:24):
you know, I like Mortal Kombat. I like ed Boone,
you know, I I want these He's.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
He's such a big sweetie in real life.
Speaker 3 (47:32):
I want these games to succeed. I want more fighting
games to be good. But yeah, you know, like on
the competitive side, I've never seen Mortal Kombat one of
my locals. Like literally ever since it first came out,
I've never seen someone bring a set up and where
I'm from, you know, like there's we had, like you know,
(47:52):
in Mortal Kombat ten Days. I know that's almost ten
years ago, but like you know, we had a very
big and active, very strong scene, you know, but I
haven't seen the game once like brought to like a
local and even like casually. I have a friend who,
you know, more he buy He doesn't play fighting games.
He buys every Mortal Kombat. This is the first one
(48:13):
he hasn't boughten since nine. Oh wow, you know so no,
I just think that, yeah, there's a sentiment for like
both sides that like like this is a game I'll
maybe catch on sale or it's not worth investing.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
I think the last ditch thing that they have to
do is make conquest mode again. Just make deceptions conquest mode,
just put it in the game. It's like, yeah, that
that doesn't help the competitive scene whatsoever, But I bet you,
I bet you that would like get way more people
more people buying it than just the story, expansion and
sector and Cyrax. I think in another timeline or like
(48:53):
not even timeline, but like a year or two ago.
If you were to say, oh, Mortal Kombat's doing really poorly,
people don't like what's going on. You would say, oh,
just reboot it. That's a problem because they've done it
like twice already. You can't just say, like, oh, let's
just Mortal Kombat. I don't even know what you would
call it. I don't know what you would do. The
(49:15):
only thing I can think of right now is like,
abandon this gameplay style altogether. Go back be a three
D game again. Try that out, see if that works,
because I don't know what else you can do with
the X rays and the you know, how the game
plays now or how it's kind of molded itself or
(49:35):
revolved over the last couple of years. Like and I
don't even hate the game really, It's like I don't
play it. I didn't play it nearly as much as
Justin did, and Justin doesn't play nearly as much as
Max does, So like, I played it the least, but
I still liked it. And I kind of like a
lot of the characters, like oh, our tiles super cool
and this and that. But there's a whole other section
(49:56):
of it. I'm like, I don't like this. I don't
like the I hate all the costumes and how they
you can't get some of them anymore and hatle that
shit like a lot. And yeah, the last couple of
the last couple of Mortal Commic Gains have always had
stuff like that, the grinding and m K eleven and
even in MK ten there's some grinding and I don't
even know what the solution is anymore because like a reboot,
(50:16):
you can't even just say that because I don't know,
they kind of painted themselves in a corner. At the
end of the day.
Speaker 3 (50:23):
It's hard not to like think about Mortal Combat just
like you know, think like ah, like Warner Brothers, Like
they're like ruining everything, you know. Like like I said,
like the last time I saw like m K one
and like the news, you know, like people discussing the
game like outside of the FGC was probably when they
(50:45):
introduced like those holiday fatalities that cost like tene right, yeah,
and it's like, yeah, I can't imagine a casual being
like what like that. That's like horse deals, horse Armor deals.
It's like on this same level of that, you know, yeah,
where it just feels greedy, and you know, the game
launched with like half the options as the last one exactly.
Speaker 1 (51:08):
So like, for example, I have someone in my extended
family that like loved the MK nine, loved m K ten,
bought eleven launch day, and then I want to stay
in October, like the month after MK one came out,
I was like, oh, did you get more calm at one?
And he's like nah, I'm like oh, He's like, yeah, no,
a tag team Fighter is of course incorrect. But to
(51:32):
a person that just like looks at a trailer, right
and that's it, they oh, no, I'm not I'm not
into into that at all, Like yeah, I'm not interested.
And he just never bought it and he like Platinum
the other ones, and yeah, I just thought to myself,
that's a problem, you know, like we're we're on a
fighting game podcast while they played or buy it in
(51:54):
some form or another. But like for someone very casually
that like played all the other games and just says
that straight out just by your trailer, like I'm not
not into.
Speaker 3 (52:02):
It, I'm like okay, which sucks because like I mean,
I think I like assist games, you know, I like
the idea of it. You know, so I I don't want, like,
you know, someone to walk away with like oh, like
Mortal Kombat shouldn't try something new exactly, but it is like, yeah,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (52:23):
There.
Speaker 3 (52:23):
I feel like this release just had way too many
things going against it.
Speaker 1 (52:28):
That's why I have to go three D and just
put in conquest mode. That's it.
Speaker 3 (52:32):
It would be canceled at this point, you know, do something.
Speaker 1 (52:36):
I think the real like realistic answers, like give Mortal
Kombat a big ass break, like yeah, do another Injustice
do or another fighting game whatever, brand new, brand new one,
I don't know, and just give it a long break
and really think it over, because yeah, I think the
problem requires a lot of time to solve. At this point.
Speaker 3 (52:56):
It's just frustrating because it's like it's a seam is
that prints money. There should be no reason why we
should be like, you know, hurting the developers rushing these
games like it's going to sell. Mortal Commet is gonna sell.
You don't have to, you don't have to convince people
to buy Mortal Kombat. Well I guess you do, now, yeah,
I guess you do.
Speaker 1 (53:16):
But but like it's not like it's on a down
like a trend. Mortal Kombat eleven I always forget is
the highest selling one. Uh you know, despite everyone you
know having some issues with this or that, the gameplay style,
et cetera, or the grinding, it's still sold the most.
And like like a reboot after that kind of made sense,
(53:36):
sort of like three games a trilogy and then do that.
But it's just like I think it. I think maybe
in another Injustice game in between would have would have
maybe fit the bill better. But we'll see. We'll see
if this develops and they actually make that official. Just saying,
you know, they don't talk about a Combat Pack three anymore.
Speaking of assist games, we did this I think the
(54:01):
last time in an episode, but Jinks was revealed for
two Triple KO sorry two x KO. And if you
asked me about this a few weeks ago, I'd be like, Oh, yeah,
that's that girl who cares. That's the girl that people
have been costplaying since twenty fourteen. When I go to conventions,
I'm like, I have no fucking clue who this is.
And that's how I knew you're old, and I'm like, fuck,
(54:24):
it's true. Then I watched Arkane. I watched both seasons
of Arcane and now I'm super highed. I'm like, yeah,
now I want ye in there. I want like, you know,
never gonna play Legal Legends. But at least now I'm
a bit more interested in two XKO because it's like, oh,
it's character I recognize.
Speaker 2 (54:41):
So they could have they could have just make the
name Arcane as the fighting game title.
Speaker 1 (54:47):
Probably yeah, why not of Arcane Tournament Fighter, but you know,
or at least called this two SKO League Legends because
Arcane is technically called Arcane Legal Legends underneath. Yeah, but yeah,
animation is crazy good. Uh there's a video the one
of the animators just talking about all the work they
(55:11):
put into her and like, yeah, it looks exactly like
she is one of the most popular characters in the
entire you know, franchise, one of the most popular champions. Sorry,
So it seemed like a lock she'd be, But I
was always kind of mystified that she was never shown
in the launch lineup. I was like, oh, yeah, Launch.
Speaker 2 (55:28):
They they showed her like in the beginning, but then
they kind of like the way after after. Yeah, Jinx
was one of the initial characters revealed when it was
still called a project. Luh. But then they never show
anything past past that. Okay, so this is like, yeah,
they finally like showed gameplay of her the trailer and
(55:52):
she looks really good like that. This is the kind
of the thing that was like I am waiting for
for twix Ko because I felt like after like the
beta and I'm just like, man, every character just it
was the same. You know, they just hit. They just
want to just move forward. Hit, you do a combo,
rinse and repeat. There's no like different archetype of characters.
And it seems like Jinx is like that first character
(56:13):
that's wanting to provide that. You know, she she has
the essence of like a I would say Marvel two
cable when I see some of her move sets. So
I'm really excited for that. And I know that a
lot of people that went to the Arcane premiere were
able to play her as well too. They couldn't record footage,
so it's kind of more of like videos of dev
of like what their thought processes or what they think
(56:36):
the character is or you know, so I know Sageam
and Diaphone were able were two people that I saw
that went to the premiere and played Jinks a lot.
I'm not sure if like Max it because I would
assume the Arcane premiere is in LA and I'm not
sure if he's like into Arcane or anything like that.
But yeah, well I haven't watched Arcane yet either. I'm
(56:57):
on episode two in season one.
Speaker 1 (57:00):
Okay, so you have a lot to go. But yeah,
there's definitely a couple of characters that I think there's
even one that's introduced in Arcane. It's not actually in
the game or they just added her into the game.
So like the show informed to put a character into League,
so it'd be interested if they show up in two XKO.
But yeah, we always theorize this, this is gonna be
(57:21):
a small ass starting roster.
Speaker 3 (57:24):
Yeah, at this point, if you would have told me
like a year or two ago, I'd be like, nah,
no way. But like at this point, with the next
play test, I think is in spring of next year.
Like I'm thinking, like, then, when is this release date?
You know? So I feel like it is going to
be a very small roster.
Speaker 2 (57:44):
Twelve or sixteen characters.
Speaker 1 (57:45):
You think that sounds about right?
Speaker 3 (57:49):
I mean, how many are there now?
Speaker 1 (57:51):
It's like maybe eight?
Speaker 2 (57:53):
I think, like is six to eight if it launched
with like a Schoolgirls twelve or something.
Speaker 3 (57:59):
I think Schoolgirls had like twelve.
Speaker 1 (58:01):
And well twelve is unforgivable.
Speaker 2 (58:04):
Yeah, unforgivable.
Speaker 3 (58:07):
But it's just like, man, maybe they are just saving
a bunch, you know which I mean, I guess they should.
Speaker 1 (58:13):
You know, twelve is fine if it's not a full
price release, but like, you know, seven gonna be free?
Speaker 3 (58:18):
Right?
Speaker 1 (58:18):
Wait? Is it going to be free?
Speaker 2 (58:20):
I mean everything? Yeah, they said it's just free to play.
Speaker 1 (58:22):
Okay, yeah, everything they.
Speaker 3 (58:24):
Do is free.
Speaker 1 (58:25):
Justin Marvel Rivals this week, it's going to be free.
Speaker 2 (58:29):
I'm excited.
Speaker 1 (58:30):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (58:31):
You know you saw Iron Fist, Iron Fid looks crazy, dude.
Speaker 1 (58:33):
Squirrel Girl anyway, so Cloak and Dagger is actually the
big one anyway. So yeah, yeah, looking good there. But
like I said, like it seems like it's going to
be forever until there's a new character shown. So I'm
thinking at the very least like late twenty twenty five
if you want.
Speaker 2 (58:51):
To have it, yeah, I would assume at least like EVO,
they'll announce, like they'll announce like something big Evo.
Speaker 3 (58:59):
I would I would imagine that it would have to
be evil ready by right.
Speaker 1 (59:05):
Yeah, they didn't show much at this EVO pass though, right,
wasn't it like one of the few things.
Speaker 2 (59:10):
They just they just had a boof and you play
and then if you play at the booth here automatically
in the alphat.
Speaker 1 (59:16):
Okay, yeah. So the other interesting thing is just because
going into character reveals and this is more speculation now,
but since Steam has changed their DLC rules and that
developers are now required or publishers i should say, are
more required to actually list everything that a season pass
(59:39):
or like upcoming DLC will have, and if any of
that gets canceled for any reason, Steam users would be
able to like get that money back, like specifically cool.
So the the the overriding theme here is that will
this mean that you're no longer you can tease your
fighting gamecare.
Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
If that's the case, obviously this is a super pro
consumer move. I'm not gonna, you know, get Yeah, I'm
not gonna get mad at that, but I mean it
does Like even though ninety percent of the time a
fighting game deals like you know, has like a silhouette DEDALC,
I feel like it gets leaked, especially if you're capcom.
(01:00:24):
Like I still like the mystifying like, oh, who could
it be? But I mean overall, it's a good thing,
Like I'm not gonna complain, you know about knowing what
I'm gonna I'm you know, Yeah, we're all suckers here.
We're probably you know, when a season passed for fighting,
it comes out, it's a non negotiable, you know that,
Oh that's just an extra twenty dollars I'm gonna spend,
no matter what, you know, exact, So it is so
(01:00:45):
for us, it's like, or at least for me, it's like,
you know, I could live with that missed you know,
I could live with that mystery because like I'm already
gonna buy. I'm a sucker, you know. But for everyone else,
for all, you know, yeah, it's a it's a it's
a pro move of.
Speaker 1 (01:00:59):
Course for devs and publishers. Right, Let's say Namco and
they're just like, we want Craig fans to think we're
working on Craig Marduck, but we're not. So if we
just have silhouettes or just a color and a month,
they might buy the season pass. But if we say
(01:01:20):
right out the gate, oh no, there's no Craig Marduk,
then people will that small percentage of people I don't
want to go buy the season pass then, so I
think that's the general Like, that's the whole reason why,
like you know, like silhouettes don't get used all that
much except for like maybe I guess S and K
for kof back in the day. I think when Max
(01:01:40):
wrote about this, he showed those silhouettes back in KI
season but by the way KI referenced there for everyone
counting at Home KI twenty thirteen, when they did it
a season three, they showed silhouettes of every character, and
a lot of them were new characters, so it was
be like, what the fuck, I don't even know what
I'm looking at, But like one or two were like, well,
(01:02:01):
that's Riptor, that's Cinder. That's okay, that's cool. So you
get a little bit of that, but you don't get
to see what they actually look like. I think that's
a good way to handle it. It's like, here's a
silhouette that could be Sean or that could be goken Like.
It looks like a show, though, but you're not actually
showing what the character looks like. So at least that's
kind of interesting and and you know it still has
(01:02:23):
that like mystique to it, Like Layton was saying, but
I don't see this passing in a way where publishers
have to actually say what their characters are going to
be for a fighting game or any other game really
that has like any kind of spoilery dealc. Like, I
don't see that happening, but episode everyone's assuming might might
(01:02:44):
actually go down.
Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
I'm wondering that, you know, because obviously our references fighting games.
I'm wondering, is this like a really bad tactic that's
used in like other genres that I just don't know about,
or like, you know, maybe developer lie with like silhouette,
like you know, hiding stuff in silhouettes or something. I
don't know, because like if I just think about in
(01:03:07):
fighting games, I don't think it's you know, necessarily bad.
Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
But yes, I mean we never had that, We never
had that issue before. Just like, oh, I feel like
we like to I feel like we I feel like
the community likes to guess yeah for sure, like oh,
like this is this character, Oh that's that character, right,
So I don't know, I can't really I don't know
what other genres like silhouette looks like like.
Speaker 3 (01:03:32):
Who's getting who's getting taken advantage of, and like gotcha,
yeah right, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:03:37):
I think it's those encompassing season passes that just don't
give you a lot of information at all, Like they'll
give you like they'll say like extra story campaign and more,
and then the end ends up being shitty or almost nothing.
I think there has to be a few examples of
that of like other like you know, action adventure games,
(01:03:58):
single player games, or like you know, games as a
service things like they yeah for like Suicide Squad, they
don't tell you all the characters that you're gonna get, yeah,
And if they did, like people wouldn't be like, well,
I'm not buying it. I don't care about that character
or that character. And that's like, you know, you're kind
of obvious skating the you know, your your your plan
(01:04:22):
going forward. I remember marketing guy when I used to
work at IDAs, would say, like everything can like if
one thing in marketing gets screwed up, like something gets
revealed or leaked, it's like months of wasted work, like
months and months, and it's like one of the most
protected things. And it's funny because it's also one of
the most leaked things. Ever, like poor Capcom. We have
(01:04:45):
to have so many fucking episodes of TKO where we
didn't talk about that one image of every single fucking
character because we're like, what are we supposed to do here? Really,
it's so flagrant, it's so out there. But at the
same time, it's like, you know, it's not it's not
it's not fun when things get leaked, honestly, like for
most of it, whenever there's a big show and something
(01:05:07):
gets leaked and you watch it like, oh, yeah, that's
the thing that they got leaked, like I'm excited for
it or I'm not.
Speaker 3 (01:05:12):
But I think the the worst leak ever, I guess,
besides Street five or six, because that did happen like
months and months and months was Ultimate Marvel three. I
remember the day that it got announced. All the deals
or all the new characters got leaked and stuff too,
and I remember like just being remember that, just being
(01:05:32):
young and being like looking loading up event hubs and
being like, damn, it's right, huh like Phoenix right, Like
it's cool, but it's like, ah, how sick would they
have would this have been?
Speaker 2 (01:05:44):
You know, they made their own trailer? Yeah, pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (01:05:48):
I mean that's why fake lists go out to confuse people, right,
or that's that's a that's an added effect of like
if anyone starts making a bunch of fake like Smash
was really bad Smashed. When when Smash is like still
coming out and like there's so many fake leakless you
can't believe anything, right.
Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
I mean I've seen I've seen like conspiracy theories and like, yeah,
you know, oh, like this color is in this background.
This color represents this character like Smash, you know, so
they go harder than like anyone else.
Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
And it's funny because when when a game is like
over or done or cancel or whatever it may be,
and then you find out like what they were working on,
like and my go to for that is like PlayStation
All Stars, Like they had like six or seven other
DLC characters and a lot of them are gonna be
sick as block And I'm like, oh geez, really, like
even though I didn't like that game that much, it's
like I still would love for those characters to come out.
(01:06:43):
So yeah, it's like this love hate relationship with leaks,
Like they can be exciting, but it does kind of
suck and then yeah, throws the marketing campaign off and
they have to pivot cawcome at least rolls with it.
When something has lead they just kind of go, oh,
here's the thing. Anyway, here's the trailer, like a few
days or it's the best you can do. But yeah,
we'll see if this new practice that steam because it's like,
(01:07:08):
you don't have to do it for consoles. It's just
a Steam thing, right, Yeah, so then why so Steam
people that you steam a lot get gets it gets
a leak for them, It gets to see all the characters.
But the console versions don't like it's very wishy washy.
So we'll see what transpires there. And finally, last and
most important story of the week is that the Please
(01:07:32):
Wrap It Up Awards, hosted by Jeff Keeley, have posted
their five best fighting games of the year. That is
Dragon Ball Sparking zero, Grand Blue Fantasy Versus Rising. Someone
please need to explain this to me. Didn't this come
out in twenty twenty three.
Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
Grand Blue Fantasy Versus Rising? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Or was it like January?
Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
No, I came in January?
Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
Okay, yeah, because I saw several people.
Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
It came super super early. I believe in twenty twenty four. Okay,
I want to say. Yeah, it was like January or February.
Speaker 1 (01:08:14):
Marvel versus Capcom Finding Game Collection, Arkay Classics. I couldn't
believe Max is not here, but I'll say what he said.
He's like, I love this game. It's so amazing, it exists.
It should absolutely not be nominated.
Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
I saw that. Yeah, I saw.
Speaker 1 (01:08:29):
That, And do you agree? Because I agree?
Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
Now let me rock.
Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
Yeah, you know I can't.
Speaker 2 (01:08:42):
I can't say no to it. I'm down for it
to be on the list.
Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
Remake.
Speaker 2 (01:08:46):
I've rather, I've rather this be on this list than Multiverses.
Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
That yeah, sure, absolutely sure that I also agree with
there because Multiverses was already nominated and I won.
Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
Yeah one it one. It won last year for being
a beta beta.
Speaker 1 (01:09:07):
It didn't win over Street Fighters six.
Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
That's not two years ago, two years ago.
Speaker 3 (01:09:10):
Two years ago, right, it went over kof.
Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
That was when they had what was was that was
that was that the Seafood Was that the Seafood year?
That was versus Yeah that was.
Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
Two years ago.
Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
Yeah, yeah, Seafood robbed anyway, So yeah, yeah, Multiverses after that,
and then Tech and eight like.
Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
They yeah that The bad part about this is that
they just forgot about under Knight. They're just like, you
know what, under Night is not a fighting game.
Speaker 1 (01:09:44):
So here's still the problem with the Game Awards is
that they cut off the nominations, like, you know, with
almost a month and a half left in the fucking year,
which is still insane to me. I don't understand, like,
you know, every other awards show does it, you know,
near the start of a new year, and then you
count everything. I still don't really get it. But you know,
(01:10:05):
you could even throw hey, uh fucking double Dragon Neo
came out, sorry, Rage of the Dragons. If I was
running the ship, I'd put that over Multiverses. I'm not
even saying that because I hate multiverses, just because it
already won, like how do you win again?
Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
Or like, you know, if we want to keep a
platform fighter, you know you could put Rivals of eight.
Speaker 1 (01:10:27):
Rivals of Ether too. That's the great choice, thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:10:31):
So it's it's who cares, man, That's.
Speaker 1 (01:10:36):
No, these are the official game awards, late, these aren't
official game award.
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
These people people care about these awards a lot. Sole
from Capcom was like, yo, you hear we got nominated
for bars cap Up Bidy, collect Star Kid Classics for
Best Fighting Game with the Year, Like they had to
message me and tell me that before I found out.
So did they? They feel that this is very important
to them because you get the nice little trophy put
(01:11:03):
into office and everything. You know, you you could, you know,
but blaze all over it whatever you want.
Speaker 1 (01:11:09):
Joking aside, it's like, when like ninety million people are
watching your show, it doesn't really matter anymore. It's just like, hey,
get your game's name out. If it wins an award,
there's gonna be a certain percentage of that ninety million.
That's just like, oh, I buy multi verses if that wins.
Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
Or I think the worst part about that is when
they do these awards shows. I remember last year when
Street Fir six one, they didn't even get like a
you know, its own segment. Yeah, it was one of
those side things where like, oh yeah, let's let's the
the next nominees. Who's gonna win these rewards and like
Street fir six and then that was it. Literally it
was like three seconds.
Speaker 1 (01:11:45):
And that would have taken away from the third Muppets
comedy segment.
Speaker 2 (01:11:50):
That Muppets I forgot.
Speaker 1 (01:11:52):
Gotta have all three right and music and the musical performances,
don't forget them. They're they're the heart and soul of
the game awards. Anyway, between the five, who are we
actually feeling? If you had, if you had to give
a guess.
Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
I mean I want I I personally want.
Speaker 1 (01:12:12):
Which one do you personally want?
Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
Justin Wong, I personally want Grand Blue to win, Okay,
because I feel like the game is really good, it's
really awesome. They put a lot of effort and care
into like this, this version of the game. I just
don't think it's gonna win. Sadly, I really don't think
it's gonna win, but I would love it for to win.
I think either Tekenat or Dragon Ball is gonna win.
Speaker 1 (01:12:36):
Yeah, I I don't see it. We're multi versus wins again.
Oh it would be funny, it would be It would
be funny.
Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
But I don't think like the game is getting like
positive reception anyway, So I don't even think it can.
Speaker 3 (01:12:52):
Win, not at all.
Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
Yeah, unless like the common person just randomly voting because
you know, you you know, when you're voting, you're just
like voting everything, right, and they see oh shit, girls, yeah,
they even though I ever played it before.
Speaker 3 (01:13:06):
Yeah, I think I saw that like only like ten
or twenty of like audience voting, like is like counted
they have like a group of people.
Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
Oh do they?
Speaker 1 (01:13:20):
I thought I thought there was a separate award for
like audience voting or did does audience actually get to
chime in on the other awards as well? And it's
just a small percentage.
Speaker 3 (01:13:30):
That I saw a random tweet could be wrong. Don't
crucify me, Jeff Keey, you know, but.
Speaker 1 (01:13:36):
I wouldn't. Yeah, I'd say that sounds about right. That
seems kind of fairish, I guess, But like, you know,
it's just a bunch of random people throughout the industry,
like game developers, marketers, et cetera. Influencers too, I guess.
But yeah, Like if I was to say, like like
off the bat, I'd be like, yeah, no, maybe teching eight.
(01:13:59):
But then it really think about how tech and aid
is gone the last couple of months, and I'm like,
you know, I'd probably go with Grand Blue as well. Honestly,
it's had no real major issues, get steady flow of
characters like I don't play it. I bought it and
I messed around with it, but I don't play it.
But of these, that seems like the most solid choice,
(01:14:20):
because as much as great as the collection of the
Moral Versus Fighting collection, if it was a remake, like
a full remake of just one of the games or
all of them or whatever, at least if there's something
more new about I'm like, yeah, that's twenty twenty four.
I get that. But because it's just a collection, I'm
just like, I just feel it's like, yeah, that's not
(01:14:41):
I don't know, that's not representative of twenty twenty four.
Speaker 3 (01:14:45):
I think it sets like a bad precedent. It's like,
you know, them arguably changing the rules to include you know,
the Elden Ring DLC per Game of the Year. I
think it just sets like a bad president of like
what should be awarded. But I mean, yeah, we're also
looking at a best Fighting Game list with multiverses and
sparking zero, So it's like, but I mean, if I
(01:15:06):
were to have to say anything, I would want Under
Knight should have been that. That would have been my pick.
I'm a non assay Maine. I love Under Night, But
out of these, I would definitely have to say Grand Blue,
just because yeah, with like what you guys said, I
think it's a solid product, you know, and not just
(01:15:28):
like a solid fighting game. I do think it's a
solid fighting game and also casually and competitively. I feel like,
you know, the community is happy with the game, especially
past like you know, near getting nerved and stuff. I
feel like, yeah, like out of all anime games. Okay,
I don't want to make this thing. I was gonna say,
(01:15:50):
maybe they complain the less, but I don't know, I
don't want to.
Speaker 2 (01:15:52):
I mean they did. I mean, I think they did
a great job. They got a little you know, a
free to play version where you could get the fruit
play the free characters online. I think that's such a
great way of just like introducing people to a game
that maybe a lot of people probably have never heard
of the franchise before, right. I think they did a
really good job and that I would I would definitely
give it fighting. If this was the FGC version of the
(01:16:14):
best Fighting Game of the Year, I think they would
have won the Fighting Game of the Year.
Speaker 3 (01:16:16):
I think it's so cute with their rotating free roster.
Then yeah, school that they include like characters that have
won like big events. It's just an issue when like
you have like an over centralized character and they keep
showing up every week because they keep winning. But you know,
I think it's a really cute idea. I like it.
Speaker 1 (01:16:36):
Yeah, I mean, and.
Speaker 2 (01:16:37):
They got a fall guys mode.
Speaker 3 (01:16:38):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:16:39):
Yeah, I forgot about that. If if I could like
insert a game in there myself. Technically, Killer Instinct tenth
Anniversary came out in twenty twenty four. I'm just saying.
I'm just saying, Hey, Marvel's here, so like Marvel's here.
Speaker 3 (01:16:58):
It wouldn't be fair to exclude Killer.
Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
I love the idea that a release that has a
beat him up on it is potential fighting game of
the year. That's that's also kind of the special to me.
I love that anyway, I think, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:17:13):
I think I was just gonna say, I think Tecan's
gonna win.
Speaker 1 (01:17:16):
Yeah, yeah, the Tecan's gonna win that Tecular dragon Ball, Right,
that's what I think.
Speaker 3 (01:17:21):
Dragon Ball in my head, there's no way dragon Ball
can win.
Speaker 2 (01:17:24):
What do you mean is so popular? Everyone loves dragon Ball.
Speaker 3 (01:17:27):
But the fact that it's there on the list, you're
probably right, like it is probably gonna win.
Speaker 2 (01:17:32):
Like this just just it might win because of just
everyone knows what dragon Ball is celebrities love Dragon Ball
more than any of these other games.
Speaker 1 (01:17:40):
Yeah, but tecans know, you know, Spring Chicken, like Tecan's
been around enough that like people just know the name.
Speaker 2 (01:17:45):
Right vetaas they they're they're at Macy's every year Thanksgiving.
You understand that Thanksgiving parade you see a Goku Goku blimp,
no matter what, that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:18:00):
Imagine there's like, imagine there's like a Kuma blimp or
like hey Hachi blimy Heyachi.
Speaker 3 (01:18:06):
And his like you know, traditional Japanese underwear.
Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
Yeah, yeah, yeah diaper.
Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
Uh, mister Gollwind quote, where can people find you on
the internets?
Speaker 3 (01:18:18):
At Guilewood?
Speaker 2 (01:18:19):
Quote?
Speaker 3 (01:18:19):
On YouTube?
Speaker 2 (01:18:21):
Nice? Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:18:23):
Any any videos coming up? I really enjoyed the two
worst street fighter games. You said, we're Super Turbo and
Hyper Fighting. I believe. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:18:31):
No yeah, super Turbo on Third Strike No no, no.
But you know it's funny, so I said New Generation
and New Challengers were the worst fighting games and the
worst street fighters. And it's funny you say Super Turbo
because I've gotten so many comments obviously from people who
aren't competitive fighting in players, saying I hate Super Turbo.
(01:18:53):
It's too fast for me. The CPU is impossible New
Challenges is my favorite. What are you talking about? You
are right? So I've gone like probably hundreds of comments saying.
Speaker 2 (01:19:03):
That, really, wow, you know, I'm a hyper. I'm a hyper.
I'm one of those hyper fighting guys that you mentioned.
Speaker 3 (01:19:08):
In the video the Purist.
Speaker 1 (01:19:09):
But that's very easy to explain because like so many
people could not even access Super Turbo for years and
years and years, right, they could only play New Challengers
on their Genesis or their SNS. So that's directly where
that comes from. And like I get it, like that's
the version you're playing a bunch with your with your
brother in the summer, so I get it from that standpoint.
But yeah, like that doesn't that doesn't surprise me. I'll
(01:19:31):
get stuff like that on a random video too, where
it's like, well, this is the one I had access to,
so it's my favorite one. I'm like, that's that's valid.
Speaker 3 (01:19:38):
For you not to, you know, to I don't have
to want to be direct and be like this is
a fighting game player's you know vision of it. But
you know, yeah, hopefully I opened some eyes to be
like maybe I should, maybe I should learn how to
do a super.
Speaker 1 (01:19:59):
Please more guyle LUs quote videos in the future.
Speaker 3 (01:20:03):
I enjoyed it, thank you, thank you. But besides that,
I'm working on King of Fighters eleven. So I'm working
on that in hopes that, you know, I can keep
the streak up. And as soon as I post it,
s and k is like, well, guess what, bloody roar.
Next game's too hard. I got to learn it first.
Speaker 1 (01:20:27):
All right, that said for this week, see everybody, Bye.
