Speaker 1 (00:56):
Hello everybody, Welcome into the Triple Show. I am your host,
Jeremy Lapitis, joined today by my two friends and co host,
Nolan Jamber and may Rob. It's heemy. Welcome back, guys.
We took a little bit of a hiatus there, but
we are back, ready to go, re energized and guess

(01:16):
what football is here? Football is back. We have a
whole week of NFL football to go over, to go through,
so before we get into our NFL Power rankings, I
just want to go around here and let's talk about
our favorite games here for the season so far. May Rob.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Talking about the favorite games of the season so far.
I mean, it's hard not to pick the Bills and
the Ravens because that is definitely in contention for game
of the year. What a game we saw between the
Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. But
other than that, I mean, we saw some sneaky good games.
I know Nolan's not gonna like this one between the

(01:58):
Packers and the Lions out was a fun one. We
saw a fun one between the Niners and Seahawks that
was not a fun one to watch for my sake
because I'm a Seahawks fan, but nonetheless it was a
pretty great, great, pretty great game. Fun Week one Jets
Steelers that was also up there. That was probably actually second,
I'd say, now that I'm thinking about it, that was

(02:19):
honestly probably the best game of the early one o'clock slate.
But nonetheless we had a very fun NFL Sunday and
many more to come for the next few weeks, next
few months, I should.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Say, yeah. I mean, for me, one of my favorite
games to watch well in my opinion, was the game
on Friday night. I thought the Chargers Chief game was
really good. It was just a really well rounded game.
I thought Justin Herber played really well, played up the expectations,
you know him coming into the season with honestly, you know,
people calling him mister hypothetical. What if he had this?

(02:51):
What if he had that? And he came in and
he's he played great. I mean, Quinton Johnson play phenomenal.
I mean, he just had. He just did though. I
mean Joe Halt, I mean, he proved why he's just
such an elite lineman. I mean I thought it was
a great game, but the best overall game we all
can agree with the Bills and the Ravens game. I mean,
my favorite play. I've alway said that before. I said
of the show, the d hop one handed catch. I mean,
that was phenomenal and plus I had Say Flowers and

(03:13):
my fantasy team help me win, so thank you for that.
But that was by far the best game just overall game.
That's just great. Great first week though, and it's a
score of Gomi. We had score Gomi week one there
with the Ravens nine with the Ravens Bills, so that
was pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
The score Gomy guy disappeared. He didn't tweet that one else.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
He had to. He has to be right, he has
to be Ravens man. He has to be there's no
way he's not.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
That was so mad at the conspiracy theory going on
with the score Gomi guy over there. But that was
an incredible game, forty one to forty Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson,
their duels incredible. As always, we saw the two top
MVP players from last season. Derek Henry added one hundred
and sixty nine yards on the ground. Of course, he
did fumble that game away a little bit at the end,

(03:55):
but that's not to take away with what he did.
There were a lot of great moments from that one.
But Josh Allen two hundred and fifty yards three touchdowns
in the final quarter alone. That's an amazing stat line
for an entire game. That basically matches justin Herbert's stat line,
who had an amazing game in and of itself, for
the entire game. Two fifty three touchdowns in one quarter

(04:17):
for Josh Allens, he gets the win. The big controversy
there fourth and two in field goal range if you fail,
but that Bill's offense had been shredding that defense all
quarter long. John Harbaugh decides to punt it away there.
That is a tough look for a team that has

(04:37):
been known to blow a lot of leads. There's been
a couple couple different Ravens fans I've heard asking for
John Harbaugh's job. I feel like that's a bit of
an overreaction. I do, But with the track record of
the Ravens, I don't know how ridiculous ridiculous it is
for him to be, you know, a little bit on
the hot seat after a game like that. Of course

(04:58):
he'll turn it around. I have no doubt about that, Nolan.
But that is something that I think is a little
bit concerning that we have to keep in mind about
this Ravens team. It's more of a trend and a
pattern of the Ravens losing big games.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah, I mean, he had the trcord of losing games. Obviously,
everyone's gonna say the Bills line or the Bills game
last week, but people are also gonna bring up the
fact that he lost last year in the Bills in
the playoffs too, when that was not even like that's
I think would probably people say is probably the worst
chokes he's had or worst losses, when real estickree that
game in his entirety wasn't his fault. He has had

(05:33):
plenty of great coaching games. I mean, obviously won the
Super Bowl in twenty twelve, but like that's kind of
the most recent success they've had. But he still has
been a very consistent coach since game, especially since da
Lamar Jackson. They have not had a losing season, they
have not missed the playoffs, and they have been a
top three team in the AFC each year. That is,
I really can't get past the eighth championship. They can't.

(05:53):
They just can't seem to get to it either. But
I really believe that if they managed to get to it,
I think this year, they any year, if they can
get to the eighth championship, they are good enough team
to get out of it and maybe get to win
a Super Bowl because their talent. They have so much talent.
We just saw Derrick Henry play like a twenty year
old at a thirty one. I mean, he's a flower,
He's insane. I mean yeah, we just saw him run

(06:14):
for almost one hundred, almost one hundred and seventy yards basically.
Lamar Jackson another just great game out of him. Zay
Flowers another, you know, just elite receiver coming on the
de hop In their defense, Kylllea Hamilt's approven why he
just signed a multimillion, one hundred million dollar contract. I mean,
the Ravens are a great team. I don't think he
said John Harball's fault. I think it's just guys making
mistakes when it matters, like Derek Henry fumbling. That's not

(06:36):
John Harble's fault. It's Dereck Henry. You know, he lost
the ball. Things happened. There's no way I think John
Harball is in the hot seat if he happens to
choke a game. Let's say he loses a game like
that again this year, people will say it, but I
really don't see him being on the hot seat. I
think he's honestly just great for the program. He's been
there for a long time and he's been good with them.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Yeah, I tend to agree. I think it's one of
those things where we've seen him for so long and
the grass isn't always greener. You get used to the success.
Sounds a little bit like what's happening over with Pittsburgh
and Mike Tomlin, where it's a little bit of a
different situation because you're consistently one of the best teams
in the NFL. But Mike Tomlin very much on the

(07:16):
hot seat right now. So that's something to keep an
eye on, may Rob as these games continue to go on.
But that game was insane. It probably was the best
regular season game I've ever seen, And I don't know
if that's too far to say, because there is a
short list of games that I would put in the
same category as that. You have the Chiefs in the

(07:36):
Rams game from twenty eighteen. You have the Giants and
the Saints game where the Saints won on a walk
off field goal. I don't remember what year that was,
but that one was like a forty nine to fifty
two game. That one was amazing. It sucked, hurt my
soul as a Giants fan. But those are the three
games that in the regular season stick out to me

(07:57):
as being something special, something that you cannot miss. Is
this the greatest regular season game that you've ever seen?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I'd say no, I wouldn't go that far yet, because
there have been a lot of great ones. The Browns
and Ravens won from a few years ago with the
Baker Mayfield Lamar Jackson duel. There have been a lot
of different ones we've seen, Like you mentioned the Chiefs
and Rams. Yeah, I can't even remember the Giants and
Saints one. That just shows I was what was that

(08:28):
twenty eleven? I must have been fourteen years ago. What
was I was eight years old? You were nine, But
I guess yeah, that's probably why I remember twenty twelve
was about my first time watching football. Yours was twenty eleven. Nonetheless, No, I.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Just twenty fifteen. That's when it was.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
That was twenty fifteen, twenty fifteen, Giants Paints, that's unbelievable actually,
But if I had to think of some I think
this is up there for This is definitely up there
in contention for Game of the Year. But if I
go jumping back over to the question you threw Nolan,
I just want to say one thing about this game,
and that's the Ravens should have gone for that fourth

(09:11):
and three with a minute and thirty to go. I
know that's a little bit of a hot take, but
they should have.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
You have three.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Timeouts, the Bills have no timeouts. Josh Allen has been
picking you apart defensively for the last ten minutes, and
you have nothing you can do to stop them. It's
offense versus offense, shooting out, shoot out, back and forth.
You go. You're just giving up the fumble. You know
that the Bills are probably either going to run out
the clock or just walk down the field and score
a touchdown, which they did both. They walked down the

(09:40):
field and kicked a field goaling to as the game expired,
So I think they should have gone for that field goal.
But that's just me. Other than that, it was a
great game from both sides. I think both sides are
still in AFC contention. I still expect both of these
teams to still be in it when it matters most,
and I honestly think these two teams are honestly destined

(10:00):
to see each other, probably in the AFC Championship game.
If that's a hot take, it could be a hot take.
That's just my take on it.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
There were a lot of weird coaching decisions in this game,
especially when it came to the two point conversion options,
whether or not to do it. There were a couple
times the Ravens, up by fifteen, decided to go for one.
They missed, obviously, but going for two two makes it
a three score game. I would have gone for two there.
The Bills went for two very early in that fourth quarter.

(10:29):
I would have gone for one in that situation. It
was a fifteen point game at that point. They go
for one, it's an eight point game. They go for two,
they make it at the seven point game, but if
they missed like they did, it's a nine point game
and that makes it two possessions. You have to use
that math a little bit there. Obviously, you believe in
your offense, but getting to the glaring one, the one

(10:51):
that sticks out, it's that fourth down decision down the end. Now,
it was a tough decision in the moment. You want
to think about it this way. Fourth and three, they've
stuffed you on two running plays on that drive already,
you give it up. They're already in field goal range.
Not a good look. That's not going to be good
for you. On the other hand, that defense has been

(11:11):
torched all quarter long. They've been out there for sixty
six plays already, and Josh Allen is just carving them up.
They're tired, there's not much they can do, and you
want to rely on your offense to win the game,
your MVP quarterback to win the game, your offensive player
of the year running back to win the game, instead
of trusting it to your defense. So I definitely agree

(11:33):
with you may Rob. I absolutely would have gone for
it in that situation. I think that was one of
the biggest mistakes that was made in that game. But again,
it's Week one. There were not a lot of perfect decisions.
I just think the fear of failing there overrode the risk,
and I think it was the wrong decision. But again,

(11:54):
it's tough to be in that situation. You have a
defense that had shut them down for a while, but
you have to see the way that it's going. You
have to see the way that the game is playing out,
and there is nobody that was going to stop Buffalo
and that Josh Allen led team at that point in
the game. But we are going to break down the

(12:14):
rest of NFL football Power rankings coming up next here
will go thirty two to one in our tiers like
we did last week. That's coming up next here on
the Triple Thread Show. S host Jeremy Lapites joined today

(15:29):
by my two friends and co host Nolan Jamber and
may Rob Fittemi. If you are just tuning in, we
just finished going over one of the greatest games in
the regular season, at least the week one regular season
in NFL history, the Bills versus the Ravens from Sunday
Night Football. But we're going to continue to move on.

(15:50):
The first week of football is officially done, which means
it's time for our weekly NFL Power Ranking segment. We'll
do it every single day or Wednesday, depending on when
we do our show here, but we do have a
lot to talk about. We did it in tiers on
our last show in the preseason, and we're gonna do
it the exact same way. Here, just a little mini

(16:13):
breakdown for you. We have six tiers. We have the
awful tier, we have the bad tier, the meh tier,
the good tier, the playoff tier, and the super Bowl
Contender tier. And we're gonna start out all the way
at the bottom. The awful tier that had one member,
just one member in the preseason now has expanded all

(16:35):
the way to three, which is not necessarily what you
want to see, but it does make a little bit
more sense with the distribution there three members. Here, the
Dolphins slide all way down. They slide two whole tiers
down from all the way to awful because what was
that thirty three points to Indiana Jones and the Indianapolis Colts.

(16:58):
What is going on over there? Their offense looked atrocious.
They couldn't get anything going against a new defensive coordinator
and that Colts defense, which, by the way, okay defense,
but still the Colts should not be beating you by
twenty five points in your opener to a looked awful
Mike McDaniel could not coach that team. Tyreek Hill is

(17:21):
ready to leave. They should let him go. I don't
know why they held on to him through this offseason.
The Dolphins are the worst team in the NFL right now,
the Saints not too far behind. They climb a spot
thanks because thanks to the Dolphins being so bad, but
the Saints they looked a lot better than they thought
they would. Spencer Rattler is going to be their quarterback
moving forward. Thirteen points, no interceptions. That's a win in

(17:43):
my book. They fall to the to the Cardinals by
just seven points. It's a solid day for them. I
don't expect them to win too many games and last,
but not least as much as it hurts me to
say this, I had to swallow my pride move the
Giants from the bad tier to the off full tier
because that offense might be the worst in football. The

(18:03):
defensive line, we love that defensive line, we do. But
the rest of that Giants team just is not up
to par. And if it wasn't Week one, Jayden Daniels
and the Commanders would have dropped fifty points on them,
and they still would have only put up six points.
They had seven attempts, seven attempts to get in from

(18:23):
the three, two and one yard line and they couldn't
do it. That's ridiculous. Run the ball. I don't care.
If Tyrone Tracy is your guy, I don't care. He
can run up the middle and get three yards on
seven tries. He has the ability to do that. You
have Cam Skataboo as well, who is a beast through
contact as he saw in that game. But that's the

(18:45):
awful tier. They're not gonna matter this season.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Yeah, the Dolphins are definitely trash. We all can all
agree on that their defense is trash. Outside of Mega Fitzpatrick,
their defense is trash. Their offense used to be good.
They have a quote unquote top five running back, even
though I wouldn't put him top five. I'd probably put
him closer top ten, closer to eight. But it's still
a Tyreek Hill. Tyrek Kill somehow didn't get a captain's

(20:07):
patch even though he's the best offensive he's probably the best.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
That's not how it works though. That's not how captain's
patch works works.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Though that's true, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Here in the locker room, and Tyreek Hill certainly is
not that the worst leader.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
He'd be like horrible, I would listen to him at all,
But I mean it is still tired at the same time.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Yeah, that's very true, nonetheless, and then we get to
to atago il fourteen of twenty three, one hundred and
fourteen yards, threw a touchdown through two picks, got sacked
three times, running for his life throwing picks. He's just
he's just getting flashbacks of getting of hits, of concussions,
of constantly just being under duress. And I don't know,

(20:52):
I think I think this is this should be the
last year that too of tago Iloa plays in the NFL.
In my opinion, I think this is the last, uh
the last year of Mike McDaniel's tenure, regardless of it.
If it lasts the entire year, if it lasts the
next five weeks, we'll see it probably won't last the
next month. But this is an absolutely atrocious Dolphins team

(21:16):
in my opinion, and they're probably the worst. They're honestly
the worst team in football. I think right now. Outside
of them, i'd say after them, i'd actually put the Giants.
The Giants are one of those. I'm sorry. I know
their defense looked good, but that offensive line is downright future.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
They were and Thomas.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
Piece piece, I know, but you're still just Russell Wilson
was absolutely getting pummeled every single time. Yes, he was
throwing the deep ball up for Malik. Neighbors is somewhere
down there. Let me just chuck it up for him
into triple coverage. He'll find it something. It didn't work.

(21:58):
He over got over thrown at least three different times. Like,
it's just a mess, and you can't you can't make
you sometimes you can't put makeup on hot trash. And
that's just the that's just the issue with the with
the g men's offense. And as much as I love
Tyrone Tracy, as much as I love Neighbors, that's just

(22:19):
about how it goes. And it's gonna be about Jackson Dart.
You should put Jackson Dart quick fast and in a
hurry and just let let the let it, just let
him figure it out and let him get some experience
over there.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
I'm big on I'm big on the start Jamis movement.
I can a good faith put them below the Saints
right now, I haven't seen it. When they play the
Saints in Week five, that's when we'll find out if
those teams still are next to each other at that point.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
The last thing I'm gonna say is the Saints have.
Spencer Rattler has zero wins so far in his career
as the starting quarterback for the Saints. That's not happening forever.
This is gonna be the last year of that. Next
week or this is the last week. Next week, they're
gonna get their first win against the Sanfordancisco forty nine ers. Wow,
injured Niners and are probably gonna get yet.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
McCaffrey, no Kittle.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
No McCaffrey, no Kittle, no Jawan Jennings, a banged up
Brock Party, bang banged up Christian McCaffrey. I'm looking at
the Saints to get this one, and that's just an
early preview for that one. I got the Saints for sure.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
All right, let's move on over one tier up these teams,
and let me preface I probably should have done this
before the power rankings. The power rankings will of course
evolve over this season. It always will. We're gonna start
off in the preseason with pure speculation. We haven't seen
these teams on the field yet. This is just what
I know to be correct about these teams. Right week one,

(23:42):
we take what I know to be correct about these
teams with what everybody else is gonna know to be
correct about these teams, and we start to mix it in,
so there's a little bit of projection and there's a
little bit of what we saw in the field, because
week one does not tell the whole story. And as
we see more and more season, it's gonna be more
and more about what we've seen on the field, and
probably by like week three or four, it's gonna be

(24:04):
completely based on what we saw in the field. But
for now, there's a little bit of production projection in there.
It's about fifty to fifty. So I'll preface that when
I get into my bad tier, because I feel like
there's gonna be a couple people that have some issues
with my bad tier here. So my bad tier the
Panthers kick it off here. I don't think anybody's gonna
have an issue with that. The Panthers were awful. They

(24:25):
looked really bad against an awful defense with the Jaguars.
Bryce Young reverted to his rookie slash early last year self,
which is the opposite of what they needed. This isn't
make it a break it year for him. He needs
to step up quickly. The Browns also an awful if
their kicker had made some kicks, they could have won
this game. That was a little bit heartbreaking for them.
And the Bengals continue to not look good in Week one,

(24:46):
But it's also the Browns and Joe Flacco, and I
don't really believe in that team. The Titans with cam Ward,
I like cam Ward. I think he looked really, really good.
He got let down by his receivers, his tight ends,
his running back, offensive line, his defense. Everybody let him down.
They could not catch the ball. Calvin Ridley four drops,

(25:07):
one big one down the sideline, down the seam, late game,
clutch situation. We had a big drop from Chigakon Kuo
down the seam right after that. That was a brutal
set of plays, right after the Broncos gave them a
shot in this one. The Titans in that bad tier.
The Colts and the Jets also find themselves at the
top of this bad tier, and that I understand a

(25:29):
little controversial. But it's Daniel Jones. Let's not get too hype.
They put up thirty three points. He did things in
a Colts uniform that no Colt quarterback has done since
Peyton Manning. It's still Daniel Jones. It's not Peyton Manning.
Let's calm down. Okay, let's just take a little bit
of a breather, take a step back. It was against
the Dolphins. The Jets justin fields looked really, really good,

(25:51):
but I'm worried about that defense that gave up four
touchdowns to Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers. I'm keeping the
Jets in the bad tier, but the Colts and the
Jets very very c to moving up to that next tier.
If they have another performance this week like they did
last week, they're gonna climb a whole lot. But for now,
some early preseason projections are holding them back in that

(26:11):
bad tier.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
Yeah, I agree with that. The Panthers. I could see
why put the Panthers there, but they their offense is
still so young, they said, a young offense. It's just
their defenses holding the back. They really don't have a
really a solidified star on their defense. They kind of
back it up. Their offense is so good. Obviously, Bryce young,
you need they need him a step up. Like I said,
I think, like I thought earlier this year, the Panthers

(26:36):
are looking to be maybe when the NFCC South, I
thought they could if Bryce stung could play like he
did at the end of last year for the rest
of the season. He has one bad week, maybe I'll
give him two like slack week. He's the first two weeks.
Give them some slack after that. If he starts, if
he keeps playing pretty bad, I'm the take is gonna
go in the dumpster. But I mean there's so many
weapons they have. Tuba Hubbard, who played great this week
against the Jacksonville Jaguars. McMillan, I mean they have a

(26:59):
lot of They have a lot of good young stars
and they could be good. Well they I hope when
the nfcsup, I hope our addiction is correct. I don't
think it's gonna happen, but never have to throw it
out there. Brown's I was watching the game as a
Parcel Browns fan. Hurt not gonna lie, but you know,
gotta make your kicks well. Is that? I mean their
their defense put the defense to their job. Their defense

(27:20):
held to Mark Chase to like three receptions. Joe Burrow
had very few passing yards. I mean their defense hit
their job. Their d line. Mason Graham looked really good.
Miles Garrett to had a new contract. You look phenomenal
like Prime Miles Garrett, Denzel war The second here looked great.
Their offense didn't look horrible. It was just kicker mats
missed some kicks mixed, missed the extra point, missed a

(27:42):
thirty yard field goal. You can't be missing. I I mean,
you just can't miss it. I mean he does. He's
a rookie, he's young. Maybe he's not a rookie, but
he's young. You miss. Think that happens. But I think
the Brown could be better than bad. I think they'll
end up this year probably met maybe good category. I
think they have. I think they have a good upset
this year. Maybe Titans. Yeah, the entire team sold the
camp Woard Cam moored is. He played great. His rest

(28:04):
of his team didn't. As simple as that, Folts. They
put up thirty three points on the atrocious Dolphins defense.
I can see why they're in bad. But one more
good week, I'd move on the mess slash good and
the Jets. Justin Fields looked legit. Justin Fields looked like
he had something going. He think he had, you know,
a bone to pick. But I think that if he
I think if he plays like that again, I mean

(28:26):
he could find himself a home in New York. He's
finally getting a spot where he gets the shine. He's
actually a starter for a new defensive head coach who actually,
lets you know, has a even though he has the
defensive coach, they have a good offense over there, a
lot of weapons. He's in a good spot, better than
anybody was in Chicago, better than anybody wasn't Pittsburgh when
he was actually the spuddy reps. Now he's starting, he

(28:47):
is their guy. He'd be good. I think this column
is actually perfect. I like it a lot.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
Yeah, I also like it a lot. Really quick Titans.
I think, like you said, uh, Nolan, it was just
gonna be about Cam Morton. He's he's gonna be standing
behind a terrible offensive line, so he's gonna be running
for his life for a lot of the season, even
though they're playing a good front seven in the Broncos.
I mean, the Titans had some good had some moments

(29:13):
Calvin Ridley with a couple horrible drops. They were right
in that game. Only lost by seven points, so it's
not too big of a deal that they lost. And
I could see this Titans team possibly moving up to
the metcare category. At some point. Not yet, obviously, but
at some point. The Browns. I like Panthers in the
right spot, Colts in the right spot. Jets are another

(29:33):
team that could see moving up to me. They had
a good, nice outing against the Steelers, like we mentioned,
had a great uh justin fields had a great out,
really great outing. Had had a passing touchdown, rushing touchdown.
The run game looked good, the pass game looked good.
Of course, you'd want the defense to be a little
bit more, a little bit more stifled. But nonetheless, what

(29:54):
are you gonna say the Jets? The Jets looked better
than the typical Jets. We're basing them based on their
past selves, and we got to say, without a doubt,
they played much better than they normally would. So that's
just my take. The Jets look really good. I'm fine
with moving them up to met at some point, but
for now, I really liked that column as well.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Yeah, without a doubt, the Jets actually the biggest risers
this week. They're up six spots from thirty one. The
Dolphins and the Panthers tied for the biggest fallers, down
eleven spots from twenty one to eighteen, respectively. So that
just shows you I was maybe a little bit wrong.
I'm never wrong, of course, but maybe I was a
little bit wrong there. Let's move on to the mech

(30:36):
category here. This was our largest category in the preseason.
Over Here, there are seven teams in this category. There
were nine last time. The Bears fall from the top
of this category to the bottom. Caleb Williams is the
worst quarterback to come out of his draft class, and
that is insane with how much hype. Now that's not

(30:57):
to say he's a bust, because I'm not a big
bow believer. I don't think bo Nicks really has it
in him. I think he's the next coming of Mac Jones.
If I'm being completely honest, and we've had this conversation before,
I believe we had this conversation when we did the
power rankings last time. I stand by it. He looked
really bad in Week one the Cardinals. Here, I wasn't

(31:19):
super in love with how they handled that Saints team.
I wanted them to dominate, and they didn't do it.
That defense looked good, Will Johnson, the roocky corner looked good,
but the offense wasn't as potent as I wanted it to.
Be the Seahawks. I like them more after seeing them
than I thought they were gonna be. Now, it wasn't
that much. They're up just a couple of spots, and
that's more because some other teams moved down. But I

(31:41):
did like what I saw out of Sam Darnold. He
wasn't as bad as I thought he was gonna be.
But that offensive line, they rob that offensive line. It's
a problem, and we know it's a problem we talked
about in the offseason. But we'll get to that later.
The Patriots also hear Drake may sailed a couple passes

(32:01):
ended up costing them a game against a good Raiders
team in a game that was winnable. The Patriots will
get better as they get more in tune with the
new weapons there. But I wasn't very impressed with Drake
Meng JJ McCarthy and the Vikings right above them. I
like what the Vikings are as a team. I love
their coaching. JJ McCarthy looked atrocious for three quarters there,

(32:24):
and I think people are forgetting that because of the
way that fourth quarter went. But I think he got
bailed out by a bunch of penalties, and I think
it wasn't really him that did it. More the Bears
defense imploding than anything. But that's just my JJ mccarthur
haiti JJ McCarthy haterisms coming out there, because I am
not a big fan of him or Bo Nicks, which

(32:44):
is why I'm just generally lower on both of those
teams than a lot of other people. The Cowboys and
the Steelers teams that completely surprised me. The Cowboys offense
looked as good as I thought they were, but the
fact that they were able to keep paced with the Eagles,
the fact that they were able to run the ball,
was really shocking to me. Javonte Williams looked really good
on Thursday Night to open up the season, and the
Steelers with Aaron Rodgers four touchdowns? Where was this with

(33:08):
the Jets? He hadn't done that all in eighteen games
with the Jets two seasons, eighteen games. He's done it
one time with the New York Jets. He looked amazing.
Is MVP Aaron Rodgers coming back? I don't think so.
But after one week, if he can do this, this
Steelers team might be a real threat in the AFC.

(33:28):
That might be just revenge Aaron Rodgers coming out, but
it's one week. Trying to temper my expectations a little bit.
But all those Aaron Rodgers haters are kind of eating
their words right now. That's the mech category. Those seven teams, Bears, Cardinals, Seahawks, Patriots, Vikings, Cowboys, Steelers.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
Yeah, I mean the Bears, the Bears. Seeing the Bears
at the bottom is so surprising to me because obviously,
like if I was tall this was yesterday, like in
the middle of the game, I'd say this team would
be in the goods last playoff category. Did he see
the fourth quarter and then you see, Yeah, there's a
reason they're down there there. They they I don't know
if it's the Bears actually have a curse on them,
but they literally just cannot close out a game for

(34:09):
the life of them.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
I means Caleb Williams started ten for ten right like that.
They were moving the ball constantly.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
It was constant just moving the yard and getting the
ball downfield. They weren't scoring, they weren't scoring avery drive,
but they were getting production, always getting past Like the
forty five thirty, they were moving it a lot, but
just crumbled it down then letting the last two minutes
of the game, Caleb Williams gets sacked, throws a ball
to DJ Moore. He gets hit with the hospital ball.
I mean they both got rint on that same play.

(34:37):
DJ Moore as to all the rest of the game. Still,
I mean the Bears just this couldn't get it down
to Jajim McCarthy, Like you said, I mean, he just
came out. It's like he just dominated that last quarter.
He really did kind of prove all the haters wrong. Still,
those first two quarters he played were just absolutely atrocious.
So I mean Bears classic fashion, Cardinals. I didn't really
watch the game, but I heard that James Conner did

(34:58):
pretty good and it's in his old self, and I
heard Kyler Murray. You know, they didn't do horrible, but
you know the Cardinals and by making a lot of
the Cardinals and they didn't really they don't really have
any don't really make any huge adjustments. They got Marvin Harrison, obviously,
I'm not sure how well he did, assuming he did okay,
and then you have you know, just James countor Kyler
Murray good offense. Just it's gonna be mad as always Seahawks,

(35:19):
damn Darnolds, and they still got Cooper Cup and JSN.
You're gonna be good. I'm not sure how the old
line is, so I'm not gonna say anything about that,
but yeah, it could be a good team. Patriots like May,
that's a work to do. I mean, he makes mistakes
every days. Stakes, but you know it'll be a good team.
They'll be. I think they gonna be a playoff team
this year. They have a good defense, they have a

(35:39):
good offensive line. Improve offensive line, even though their do
rookie lineman just let up for the two sacks. Hey,
the nerves Vikings. They could definitely be higher after that week.
I think they they can definitely be in the good
category just based off the fourth quarter. But you know,
Man is fine with me as well. And the Cowboys
and Steelers I agree with them being there. They're both
good to so that could be a great team that

(36:01):
I think. Maybe the Steelers maybe with you know harl
Aaron Rodgers plays, but if he plays like that every week,
they're gonna be, like you said, legiti playoff team, not
like every year where they sco ten and seven, make
the playoffs, lose first round. They could be eleven and six,
top and five team and you know, maybe get like
a top seed and make it deep with the playoffs,
like they haven't done it in a few years. So
that's a good like that was a lot. I don't
change thenthame about it.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Yeah, I mean, no doubt about it. I'll rapid fire
this really quick, just because the Bears are classically dub Bears.
They went doub Bears mode as always, just even though
we thought they had some more hype about them. They
bring in Ben Johnson, they have a new offense, they
bring they draft Luther Burdon junior to beef up that offense,
and still they come out and commit too many penalties.

(36:45):
Still they come out and that offense is stagnant, that
defense is uh medio well not mediocre, but I'd say
just messy, like unorganized, undisciplined, committing clumsy penalties. And that's
that's what really shot them in the foot. I'll go
I'll jump over to the Vikings really quick, just because

(37:06):
talking about that game. J. J. McCarthy definitely had a
bad three quarters, but that last quarter I feel like
he really was able to just kind of turn the
whole situation around to just take control of not only
the game, but just himself as a person. He was
able to just rebound from all of that, and I
think that just speaks volumes that you can not forget

(37:27):
about those three quarters, but just think about what he
did in that fourth quarter and move forward with it
into the next game. This is just going to be
a game by game basis with him, especially as a
rookie quarterback, pretty much a rookie rookie quarterback just making
his debut in the NFL. Outside of that, the Steelers
looked really good. The Cowboys with Javonte Williams. I think
their offense is good, their defense, I think all around

(37:50):
they're a good team that can move over to the
good tier soon. I just think they had a tough
week one with going up against the Eagles. That's why
they're still in the mech category. At Seahawks, we'll talk
about the Seahawks first. Their offense look good. Kenneth Walker,
I don't know what's going on with you figure it out.
Zach Charbonat might be in his head because he knows
Zach Charbone is coming for that starting running back one role.

(38:13):
But other than that, Jackson Smith and Jigba had a
great day. Nine reception one hundred and twenty four yards.
Can't complain about it, just that defense needs to be
a little bit more clutch in the moment. I think
there's still gonna be contenders in the NFC West. Of course,
the Rams are still there. We'll get to them in
a little bit, but the Seahawks will be there and

(38:34):
the Patriots. Just the defense, what's going on with that defense?
Gave up a couple big plays, got Brock Barrett, Gino Smith,
got Brock Bowers going in the second half, had one
hundred yards. Gino Smith threw for three hundred and sixty yards,
which is a crazy, crazy stat line. I mean, I
just expect them to bounce back, and I'd just say

(38:55):
it was just some week one jitters from Drake Man
and that offense as well.

Speaker 1 (38:59):
Yeah, I tend to agree with you there. Again, we
don't want to overreact too much because it is just
week one, right, Like, we don't actually know what's gonna happen.
The Steelers aren't going to throw four touchdowns from Aaron
Rodgers every single week. I feel pretty confident in saying that.
But again, maybe I'm wrong because we don't know anything.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
After Kirk Rodgers is he could still be Perk Rodgers
out there.

Speaker 1 (39:22):
He still could be. He's got new legs under him,
forty one years old, he is. He is allegedly married now,
so you know that little marriage boost could do some
good stuff for Aaron Rodgers, you know, yeah, like.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
The most like a random person aver, he's got the
most random story.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
He's got to retire at some point, right, come on?

Speaker 1 (39:45):
Not playing like this? He doesn't.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
He's throwing four touchdowns against his four team shitty, don't
think as long as you want, I don't care.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
That's right, that's right. Let's get to the good tier here, boys,
We're we're getting to that halfway point in the NFL
power rankings here, We're getting all the way up to
number seventeen here with the Denver Broncos kicking off that
good tier, they moved down a spot. Just again, Bonnicks
looked really bad. But that defense is maybe the best

(40:12):
in the NFL. The pass rush relentless. You have the
deragning defensive player of the year in Patzertan on the outside.
That is a scary combination. Yet Bonicks is going to
make these games close because he just is not the
answer at quarterback unless Sean Payton designs him some open
looks the Raiders at number sixteen, they move up into

(40:33):
the good tier. I was really impressed with them. They
were a team that I thought about putting them in
that good tier at the beginning of the regular season
at the preseason, but I couldn't quite do it because
I wasn't convinced about their defense. Their defense comes up
huge against the Patriots. I love that offense led by
Geno Smith, Brock Bauers, Ashjing Genti. There's a lot of
solid production at that wide receiver predictable position. Jacoby Myers

(40:56):
is going to be really good this year. You have
Dante Thorton, who I am a huge fan of the
rookie number ten for that Raiders squad is going to
be very good. This is a Raiders team that's going
to play very hard and with a not so difficult schedule,
could potentially sneak into the playoffs. And the only coach
rounding out that good tier for first year head coach.

(41:18):
The only coach to win in Week one how about
Liam Cohen Duvall over there. He got it done. He
took care of business against granted, a bad Panthers team,
but still we had a lot of good come out
of it. We saw the connection from Trevor Lawrence and
how he could look. Travis etn returned to form over

(41:39):
one hundred and thirty yards rushing for him. They have
committed to him, trading Tank Bigsby away to the Eagles.
He's going to be the starter for the long term
unless Beshal Touton steps up and becomes the answer at
running back. There's a lot to like about this Jaguars team.
Their defense really stepped up, which I wasn't expecting. If
they can keep playing like this, this is a Jaguars

(41:59):
team that would make their way into the playoff tier soon.

Speaker 3 (42:04):
Yeah, something with the Broncos, wrote us to a quick
We've saw We've seen defensive take teams to the NFL
your Super Bowl two thousand and eight Giants. We saw
a twenty twelve Giants. Every team that was yeah, led
by you know, led by Manning Eli not the better
of the two, but we saw a defense lead than
Super Bowl. I believe that this Broncos defense is so

(42:25):
well rounded and so just good overall that no matter
how poorly Bonnicks plays, unless he throws for three pick
six of the game, defense is good enough to take
him as deep with the playoffs as they needed to.

Speaker 1 (42:35):
Think. I know you're not Bonnicks to Eli Manning right now.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
No, no, I'm not defense. I'm comparing the teams, you know,
teams that are not very good offensively but are elite defensively.
That's not comparing them as.

Speaker 1 (42:48):
Got Kitty Jersey back there.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
Still still exceper. But yeah, I mean the Broncos look good,
the defense, a great offense. Just for first week. Bone
Knicks got room nugrou He's still only second year. He'll
be good. Raiders, Yeah, gent look good. That's a huge thing.
It's good first overall, first overall, running back taking off
the bark board looked great. Geno Smith looking really good.

(43:13):
And that's silver and Black. Led by a new head
coach as well as Pete Carroll brock Bowers, you coming
as that offensive legit and Max Cross, we still look
as good as ever. So I mean this just Raiders
team to look pretty well rounded and could be you know,
I don't think that win the AFC West, but I
mean they could be as second, the third, depending on
who takes it. I think randomly, I think the Chiefs
can altoly finished last in the AFC West this year,

(43:35):
just based off how well each team's look so far,
and we're sop wait a second, but I just says
my opinion. I think the Charges look phenomenal, that broncops
eth is too good, and the Raiders was look really
well rounded. I think the Chiefs are gonna have a
really down year.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
That's my opinion.

Speaker 1 (43:51):
Though.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
Then the Jaguars Jagwis Hunter looked like the reason he
was taken second overall. I saw he played good on offense,
plays out on defense. You said earlier this this this show, Jeremy,
a few weeks ago, you said that Trevor Lawrence is
your dark horse MVP. And you know, I mean he
looks good. Yeah, I mean this Daguars team looks pretty solid.
They could I can definitely see why you put him good.

(44:14):
They could be legit.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
Get him, Jeremy, get him, thought, get him. I thought
I was crazy. You're on the whole other level of crazy.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
The Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (44:31):
No, the Chiefs are all going to be fourth. Also,
you said Eli Manning was the was the quarterback of
the Broncos is Peyton Manning not Eli Oh?

Speaker 3 (44:39):
I was comparing this Broncos team to the past Giants team.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
Oh you thought I thought you're comparing to the twenty No,
I know, Payton's a quarterback. Okay, all right, not bad,
But I think the Chiefs being last in that division
is crazy. This is one of those divisions. This is
the one thing that I have to say. I'm fine
with the Raiders being in the good tier, but I
feel like the Broncos and Chargers should kind of just
be neck and neck. These are the two teams, the Chiefs,

(45:06):
the Chargers and the Broncos should all be in the
same tier. I think in that playoff tier they're just
too close. It's nitpicking between all of them. You could
make an argument that theron that the Chiefs should be
in the good Tech category and the Broncos should take
their spot. You can make an argument that the Broncos
should stay here, the Chargers could be good. You can
make an argument for all three of these teams. I

(45:26):
just think the Raiders are fine here. The Jaguars, I
think they're gonna end up being in the playoff tier
just because I think they're the best team in that division.
But I'm really happy for Liam Cohen for getting that
win that's a big time win against the Panthers. I
picked against the Jags in that game. I thought the
Panthers are gonna come out with Ted McMillan and Bryce
Young and just light it up offensively and the Jaguars

(45:49):
wouldn't be able to keep up with them. How wrong
I was. Travis Etn was like, oh, you guys were
talking about me last year, how bad I was playing here. Here,
here's a sixty yard on have fun with that. Like
that Jaguars offense was fired on all cylinders and it
was really fun to see. The Broncos offense definitely not
nearly as much, but their defense makes up for PS

(46:12):
two is an absolute stud. Tai Hufunga is an absolute
stud on the On the safety side, you still have
Bradley Chubb. They didn't have green Law back in this game.
He's still hurt when they get him. That Broncos defense
is going to be even better. There's a lot to
love about that Broncos team. It's just gonna be about
how that offense is going to be able to react.
And I'm just a bonus believer too, So that's why

(46:34):
I say they should be in the playoff category.

Speaker 1 (46:36):
Absolutely I don't necessarily disagree. They could find their way
into the playoffs. Before we get to that playoff category, Nolan,
we got to talk about this. You said the Chargers,
you said the Chiefs were gonna be the worst team in.

Speaker 3 (46:49):
The afors in the West. Would I said, tould? I
said on set, Hey, remember said I do. Andrew Tait
also said that, So.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
He didn't he didn't say that.

Speaker 2 (47:05):
Definitely say that different.

Speaker 3 (47:07):
That's always saying. Man, we both, we both, we both
just no significant ball. I guess I don't know, but
I don't know. I just have I just have a feeling.
I mean, Patrick Mahomes just didn't look like himself. Granted
it's the first week. Travis Kelcey looked a little slower,
looked like he wasn't, you know, just looked slower. Made
some players but looked a little slower. Their defense look fine,

(47:28):
But I mean, just with all the Chiefs, just like
injuries or just players not playing. I mean Rashid Rice,
I mean, you just got guys who I just don't
think he's gonna be able to step up. And I
think they're just gonna have a down year. I'm not
saying that everything bad. I just don't think they're gonna
be I just think there might be one of the
lesser good teams in the NFC West.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
All right, all right, let's get to the playoff tier here.
This we hit the top fourteen. It's a coincidence that
our playoff in Super Bowl tiers are exactly fourteen teams.
But you know what, I I love that it's exactly
fourteen teams because it's the perfect answer. Right here, we'll
start off in that playoff here, we'll go up to
number ten, and then we're gonna do a little solid,

(48:09):
more bigger breakdown for the top ten. The Bengals at
number fourteen here they looked really bad. They always start slow,
but they started with a win, this time against the
lowly Browns. Concern level. I want to say hi. But
also the defense looked okay. It looked okay, but again
it's the Browns. They got a little bit lucky. The

(48:30):
Lions at number thirteen, they fell pretty hard here. They
were up there last week, number eight in the top ten.
They have all five spots. That offense just looked really bad.
I think the loss of both coordinators and the loss
of two interior offensive linemen is really killing this run game,
which Jared Goff relies on to be a pop to

(48:51):
be a good quarterback. He, like Sam Darnold, does not
handle pressure very well. He just doesn't do it. He
needs to be able to have a good offensive line
and a good run game and a little bit of
a lead in order to run his offense as successful
as possible, and he doesn't have that right now with
the Lions. Granted, it's goods the Packers, who really really good.

(49:12):
Best team in the NFC in my opinion there so
maybe it was just the Packers division game in Lambeau,
but still, the Lions were a little concerning the forty
nine ers dealing with injuries. They're at number twelve. This week,
the forty nine ers did not look good. They cut
Jake Moody. I think that's gonna help, But also, a
kicker only does so much for your squad. A kick

(49:33):
was blocked, so really he only accounted for negative three
points for them. At the end of the day, he
made the kicks that mattered. They won that game. They
made the plays that mattered, and that defense stepped up huge,
and that's what we were worried about heading into the
season with the Niners. Could that defense get it done
after losing a couple key pieces and just outside of
the top ten in that playoff tier halfway through it.

(49:54):
I have the Houston Texans. That offense was really bad
because that offensive line was really bad. CJ. Stroud running
for his life. Only three sacks is insane. That doesn't
show the story of the game. They were held to
three field goals with that Rams defensive line really got
after him. Because the offensive line was so bad, they
could not get the running game going, which is another

(50:15):
thing that's really gonna hurt. That Texans team is gonna struggle,
but they're in a division that they can struggle a
little a little bit because that defense is so good.
It's going to be near top ten, but the Texans
still hold on to that playoff tier.

Speaker 3 (50:33):
I think that the Bengals, after watching them the Browns,
I think they're I think they should honestly just be
the top tier the good I think, well just maybe
I'm not sure because the Browns defense just had so
much pressure on them the entire game. But just based
off that seeing Joe Burrow has played poorly Jamar Chase,
I mean, I just think, just based on the game alone,
but they are a good team. Their defensive line did

(50:54):
decently well. Trey Hendrickson didn't do too much and is
you know, hey's a rival game. We didn't really didn't
do as much as I expected him to do, but
they had a good game. They're not gonna be obviously.
I think they're gonna go deep, but they always start
pretty poorly. It's all a sad Joe Burrow is I
believe one and nine in his first two weeks in
his career, so I mean, maybe maybe it's just the
first two weeks of I'm not sure, but I mean, yeah,

(51:17):
I gotta win over the poor Browns teams didn't play
the best, so give him the win there graduations, but
then he got the Lions. You know, I was hurt
to see. Yeah, I mean it really did sucke. Jared
Goff just had nothing going for him. The receivers weren't
getting open. Jamir Gibbs just couldn't There was no hole
for him to get into. He took it, he bounced that.
He was practically bouncing outside every chance he could. I mean,

(51:40):
there was just nothing going for him there. The old
line just kept getting mad handled. The granted the old
line is now gone with two new I guess newer
guys a rookie and the guy doesn't have much experience,
so it's gonna take a little while to develop that,
but overtime hopefully gets better. Hopefully Jamiir Gibson get that
get that bounce back or get that old line. Get
the bounce back, so make games and he gets me

(52:03):
up and field. He's gone. I mean we've all seen that.
Hopefully that comes back in the next few weeks. But yeah,
Lambeau played Micah Parsons, who played phenomenal. I mean, he
just was lethal all game. Honey down jerreed gob to
dismantle your entire ot line. So he played great, can't
deny that. But he's scary. He's gonna be He's really good.
Now it's insane. He's scary For Niners. They played great. Granted,

(52:23):
you know without there with now their entire banged up
offense Brob Perdy, Christiancaffrey, George Kill Dwan Jenings would be
drop made through spots. But there's it's then they come
back health they'll still be good. We saw them play
great even with no injuries going into the game. Some
injuries throughout the game, they still manage to get the win. Yeah,
they still pretty solid team. And the Texans, I think
the Texans should be maybe a little lower than I

(52:45):
think they played, like the lower tier of playoffs. I
think that their defense, just like last year, they're gonna
be probably a contenance in like a nine and they
a ten and seven, eleven and sixteen maybe, but like
a really poor one because the division isn't too strong.
And yeah, I mean didn't play good, but like you
said there, oh Line didn't do good receivers, I mean
he's had no time. They run game, was no passing game.

(53:06):
But Texans are gonna be okay again, they make the playoffs,
probably not go too deep, but they're the right spot there.

Speaker 2 (53:14):
Yeah, I mean the Bengals starting really quick, I'll rapid
fire these the Bengals. You bring up Miles Garrett running
after Joe Burrow, Joe Burrow running for his life. I
mean he managed it pretty well, but this is still
a Bengals team that Joe Burrow's record against the Browns
is four and five. Now that with this win throughout
his career, so this is a Browns team that always

(53:36):
seems to have Joe Burrow's number, it's and all these
games are always close, so it was nice to see
that the Bengals got that win, especially in Cincinnati with
the Lions. Yes, it definitely looks like that offensive line
is going to be an issue. I mean, Jared Goff
threw the ball thirty one thirty nine times, completed thirty
one passes, and didn't even pass for over two hundred

(53:57):
and fifty yards. That's how bad it was in Detroit.
In terms of the offense. They tried to feed the
ball run. They tried to feed the ball. Jamier Gibbs
running the ball, carried the ball nine times for nineteen yards,
tried to throw in the ball, and as a receiving
back had ten catches for thirty nine thirty one yards.
I mean across the board. They were just trying to
get him going as best as they could and it

(54:20):
just was not working. Nothing was working for the Lions,
and it's just looking like the combination of them missing
the losing those two coordinators, plus those the interior lineback linemen,
losing Frank Ragnow is just hurting this team. I would
not be shocked if the Lions find them. I don't
know if this could be a little bit of a
crazy take, but I could see them falling to the

(54:42):
third in the NFC North behind the Minnesota Vikings with
how they played just on the just offensively, because this
is how Jared Goff can be when he has to
play under pressure. He can throw interceptions, he can be
kind of arerant throwing the ball and not make the
right decisions when he's under pressure. So I'm a little
bit worried about the Niners. About about the Lions going

(55:04):
to the Niners, I'm definitely worried about the Niners having
three extra guys on the injury list, Purty Kittle, Juwan
Jennings all on the injury list now with Christian McCaffrey,
and that that defense now while they have Nick Bosa.
I mean, Nick Bosa was eating up that Seahawks O
line for lunch. It was ridiculous how how he was
getting to Sam Darnold throughout that game. But Fred Warner

(55:26):
is still there. It's they still have a great they
still have a pretty good defense. It's just gonna be
about how that offense can keep up. I could probably
move them to good, but I'm fine with them staying
in playoff right now. And then the Texans. They they
lose a tough game to the Rams. They don't get
they I don't think they did.

Speaker 3 (55:42):
They give up.

Speaker 2 (55:42):
They might have given up one touchdown in that game,
only scored nine points. It was fourteen to nine, a
very lackluster game. The only issue I have is Derek
Stingley got absolutely burned by Pukinakua all day long, pukan
Akua having one hundred and twenty five yards in that game.
And we'll get to them soon. But Texans will probably
still win the AFC North. Them and the Jags are

(56:03):
neck and neck in my opinion, so I'm fine with
them staying in playoff as well.

Speaker 1 (56:09):
Yeah, uh, pooka Akua is gonna get you. That's just
Pooka Nakua for you.

Speaker 2 (56:13):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (56:14):
But let's get into the top ten. I'm gonna do
these first two teams together because they just kind of
always stick together, the Bucks and the Falcons. I got
the Falcons at ten, Bucks at nine. This is where
we get our first head to head matchup coming into it.
That game should have gone to overtime. So really I
would put them in the same category if I could.
But I like both of these teams a lot. I

(56:34):
think they're both going to make the playoffs. The Falcons
at nine, the Bucks excuse me, the Falcons at ten,
the Bucks at nine.

Speaker 3 (56:44):
Yeah, both teams are Qui Jet Bucky. Both have elite
running backs Bucket ever and Bees and Robinson both and
give receiving corps. Both have good quarterback or Michael penny
Stills a little more to improve on. But I mean overall,
I mean they're both very similar in skill, and I
think they both could be you know, I've I think
the Falcons will ure the box on the point in
the NFC South, with the Falcons taking probably like that

(57:05):
fourth or that fifth seed or six seed. But yeah,
I can see why you said that. Yeah, I mean
you said it yourself. I really like the addition of
Amika Buka for this, for this buccaneer squad, and I
think they're gonna be one of those dark horses to
win the NFC. Dare I say it's not legit, but
it's it's gonna be a very interesting game.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
Yeah, absolutely, I love both of these teams. Another similar
situation at number eight, number seven. I got the Chiefs
at number eight, and maybe that's disrespectful for a team
that's in the middle of a dynasty, but that defense
really really concerns me. They are at the top of
the playoff tier with the Chargers, the Chiefs the first

(57:49):
team to fall out of the Super Bowl tier. And
maybe I'm overreacting on an overreaction Tuesday, but that is
a little concerning. That defense is one of the biggest
parts of what that made them a dynastic kind of team.
This is a Chiefs team that, yes has Patrick Mahomes,
the best quarterback on the planet, but they rely on

(58:10):
Chris Jones and that defense to hold opponents down a
little bit. And that's why they've been so successful. Even
when the offense struggles. Without having too many weapons, the
defense can hold the other team in check. And Justin
Herbert and the Chargers, who are here at number seven,
found a way around that. Herbert three touchdowns, three hundred yards,
the dagger with his legs at the end. There Quinn

(58:31):
Johnston with two touchdowns. Where did that come from? I
thought he didn't have hands. We saw Keenan Allen have
a huge game. Lad mcconkee have a huge game. The
Chiefs really keyed in on the run. Amarion Hampton was
shut down as much as you can shut down Amarion
Hampton in his first game eight point one fantasy points.
He was solid but not great. But the Chiefs defense

(58:55):
is very concerning. So they fall to eight. The Chargers
at number seven. That was about as perfect of a
game as they could have possibly played. Justin Herbert shusts
the Haters up. Justin Herbert is the fifth best quarterback
in the NFL, and I don't really want to hear
too much about it because he's really good at football. Uh,
I'm kidding. If you disagree, you can disagree with me,
but he is the fifth best quarterback in the NFL.

(59:16):
If the Chargers keep playing like that, If Justin Herbert
keeps playing like that, if the defense he keeps playing
like they did in that game, they're going to be very,
very dangerous. They're at the very top of the playoff tier,
the Chiefs and the Chargers eight to seven. Up next
is the Super Bowl tier.

Speaker 3 (59:34):
Yeah, I mean they're both interchangeable, but after that game
we just saw, the Chargers are definitely just after that
first week, I mean they're better. I mean, just their
their offense played better than the Chiefs defense. If he
keeps society, like you've been saying, that's like their anchor
right now. Their ank Chris Jones and their ted defense
is what held them on so long. So I went
fifteen to two last year fourteen whatever was because their

(59:54):
defense was so good they were able to hold teams
to so few points. Eve with Patrick Mahomes having an
off year, it still rely on field goals to just
keep him the game because their defense, like the Broncos,
is just so good no matter how bad their offense is,
their defense able to keep him in the game. And
the Chargers, yeah, I mean Marion Hampton for his first
game he put on Fantasy points about they was like

(01:00:15):
sixty total yards or so. Not bad. I mean his
first game, he gets a really good Chiefs defense, not
bad at all. And then obviously had all your receivers
Keenan Allen, Quentin Johnson, who I love to see you
do good. I loved him at TCU and seeing him
play good, I mean, twenty seven fantasy points awesome. And
then Lamb mcconky obviously doing labmon conky things, and Justin Herbert, yeah,
literally shutting up everybody thinking this cat's this guy. I mean,

(01:00:37):
he's mister hypothetical. You know that all that stereotypic stereotype
that's gone. I mean, he just proved her. He just
had a great game against one of the best defenses
in the NFL in you know, in a neutral territory.
There was no home field advantage. It was just ball,
and he dominated. He put the best ball he's played
in a while. And hopefully keep fund like that because
I like the Chargers. I like to see, you know,
I like to see Quentin Johnson do good after all

(01:00:58):
that hate he's received. So yeah, I like that.

Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
Yeah, no doubt about it. I'm gonna start with the Charges. Actually,
Keenan Allen is absolutely back. This is a guy that
is probably gonna be probably a one A one B
switch off with Ladd McConkie. These are two guys. Lad
mcconkeye is gonna end up being the one, the number
one receiver on this team. I just think, I mean,
it's only a sophomore year, and he just deserves some

(01:01:24):
time to grow as a as a player, as a
wide receiver, as a whole. I really like him. I
think he's gonna be a great player, and this is
gonna be He's gonna be around for a long long time.
As for the Chiefs, I am also honestly, I'm I
swear to God. Remember when I said that the Broncos
should switch up, switch up with the Chiefs, and the

(01:01:46):
Chiefs should move to good tier. I'm not joking when
I say that the Chiefs really need to move to
the good teer because that defense is so horrible. That
defense is an absolute problem. Chris Jones is there, but
they lose so much on that back line. That secondary
is so bad, so just impossible. They can't stop a cold.

(01:02:08):
The reason the Chiefs are gonna be good this year
is gonna be because of Patrick Mahomes, very in a
much downgraded way, but in the same way the Bills are.
The Bills offense is run by Josh Allen. It's gonna
be a same situation with Patrick Mahoons. Patrick Mahomes is
going to predicate how good the Chiefs are this year.

(01:02:29):
And that's why that's why I think that defense is
going to be such a problem that the Chiefs should
be moved to good I'm very worried about this team,
and it's gonna be a long season for the Chiefs,
especially just having such a tough schedule.

Speaker 3 (01:02:42):
That they have.

Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
They're going They're going up against the Super Bowl, the
Super Bowl winners. We're going to see a Super Bowl
rematch next week, so we'll learn a lot about them.
But for now, I'm very worried about them.

Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
Yeah. Absolutely, I do understand where you guys are coming from.
But I can't move the Chiefs out of the playoff tier.
You can't bet against Patrick Mahomes. That's what I was
saying on the show yesterday. We talked about this like
we talked about the Patriots. Right, the Patriots lose one game,
Oh they're done. Tom Brady is never gonna be the same,
and then they win the Super Bowl. So let's pump

(01:03:13):
our breaks a little bit on the Chiefs. But I
do understand there is concern, real concern for this Chief
squad getting over to the super Bowl tier. In the preseason,
I told you if one of these seven teams did
not win the Super Bowl, you guys could pick a
punishment for me. I haven't heard back on that yet,
but that offer is still on the table. I feel

(01:03:34):
very confident that list is down to six now. That
offer is still for those seven teams, but still number six.
We're gonna start off with the four NFC teams that
I have in my Super Bowl tier here, and they
are ranked six to two. Actually two AFC teams at
the top. I bet you can figure out who they are.

(01:03:55):
But the Rams at number six, Commanders at number five,
Eagles four Hackers three, the Packers or the best team
in the NFC. The addition of Micah Parsons has done wonders.
In limited snaps, he was a monster defensively three pressures,
one sack, a forced interception against this Detroit team against

(01:04:16):
Penny Sewell, one of the best offensive linemen in the
entire game. He took care of business. He got it done.
Micah Parsons is a game wrecord, game changer. Jordan Love
playing out of his mind in the first game of
the season. Usually he doesn't do that until after Toyota
Thon starts right the whole Toyota Thon thing. It is

(01:04:37):
a really, really different vibe around Green Bay this year.
They are absolutely the best team in the NFC. The Eagles,
I understand, you might think are better, but Jalen Carter
not being there really showed how weak that defense is
if a piece goes down. I know the Cowboys offense
is great, I do, but I don't think that offense
played particularly great against that Eagles team, and yet they

(01:04:58):
were able to keep pace with them. The Eagles offense,
I'm a little bit concerned with the Commander's big fan
of them. They started off slow, but they decimated the Giants.
That was not a close game despite it only being
a fifteen point difference. The Commanders should have won by
about thirty or forty. And the Rams they went up
against tough defense, but that their defense really impressed me.

(01:05:19):
I want to see more from the offense. It's gonna
be tough with two offensive linemen going down, but those
NFC teams are the cream of the crop when it
comes to that side of the NFL.

Speaker 3 (01:05:32):
The Rams look very good. Even with an older Matthew
Stafford there, he is still dishing out so many good balls.
Who Kunakua s Phillips is good, Devonte Adams look good,
Kyrien Williams is still playing great. I mean, their offensive
line is still one of the best in the NFC,
if not the NFL. I mean the raven The Rams
offense and the defense are just like kind of like
the Raiders, but they're better, just so well rounded and

(01:05:55):
so just well placed. They all just kind of blend
the otherns make up. They get perfect eleven man, they
just sided the ball. They all work in symmetry and
all works all. They're gonna be great. They're gonna be
a legit team this year. Sorry so Siren and I
got a little nervous, but yeah, I mean they're gonna
be a good team like they were last year. They
could be honestly better than they they lost last year

(01:06:15):
in the second round to the Lions. I think this
year they could oh pass that. I think they really
could make it to the NFC Championship if they play
their cards right. They're a really good team. Then we
have the Packers and Commanders. I'm gonna combine the two
together because this week they play each.

Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
Other on Thursday Night Football or Night Football.

Speaker 3 (01:06:33):
I mean, that's gonna be a great game battle of
Like Morob said, this is the before the potential NFC
Championship matchup, and that I can really see it. I mean,
the Packers, Michael Parsons is literally just the best. He
is the reason they are in this category right now.
They were not here before they signed him, and then
they signed it. They moved literally to the Super Bowl
category because he's just that good. The stats he showed

(01:06:54):
against the Lions against pen School, like Jeremy said, the
best offense, one of the best, top three play in
the leman in the NFL, and he dominated, I mean
Michah Parsons just and Michael Parser's dominant. He really did.
The Commanders their offense looked as good. I mean they
have a slow but I mean they still have one
of the best receiving corps and they have you know,
Jayde Daniels or yeah, Jaye Dails. They're gonna be good.

(01:07:16):
And they just have that Jack Uh, that rookie Uh,
that Bill. Yeah, he's gonna be good. He's going to
be very good. I also having fantasy so that was
gonna pick up. But the last guy, last thing the Eagles,
I think with the signing was Zadarius Smith for the Eagles,
that could be big, even because I know that Gione
Carter now has a one game suspension. If he comes

(01:07:37):
in and fills the spot, I think that when Keith
comes back, they can have a really good you know,
just front four. They have Zadario Smith on one side,
Carter on thegether two interior lineman just pounding it up
the middle. I mean, they're gonna be good. I think
the Eagles with that, with that new signing Darius Smith,
maybe that helped him more. Not sure but WALTA Wayne Cy.
But yeah, these four NFC teams are definitely the best

(01:07:58):
for to come out of the NFC by Maybe maybe
the Bucks can be in that spot if def have
the cards right. Other than that, those four teams are
by far the guests four in the NFC.

Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
Yeah, no doubt about it. I actually agree with you
big time. Knowing that the Buccaneers can find a way
into that spot, especially when Chris Goden comes back. That
offense is going to be overpowered and I can't wait
to see it when everything fits into place. The Eagles,
I'm a little bit worried about, just because that defense
still worries me. The offense looks like it's unbeatable. But

(01:08:31):
that defense that Javonte Williams is running all over them.
Dak Prescott, if it wasn't for Ceedee Lamb dropping three
balls that he you know, he would catch nine out
of ten times that we've seen him catch on tape
multiple times. It's not like Ceede Lamb is Quentin Johnston.
Now for the last two years, the Cowboys could have

(01:08:54):
easily won that game. Other than that, I really agree
with you, Jeremy. I think the Packers and the Commanders
is going to be a preview of the of the
NFC Championship Game. I really like them. I like both
of these teams. Honestly, I can't choose who I like more.
Probably I'd probably roll with the Packers, especially since it's
in Green Bay. But this, I think is going to

(01:09:14):
be a preview to the NFC Championship Game, and I
can't wait to see it on Thursday Night Football.

Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
Yeah, Thursday Night Football is going to be amazing just
a couple of days from now. But let's finish out
our power rankings. I've told you two AFC teams at
the top. They played each other in the greatest game
of the regular season so far. Little astris on there
through one week, the Ravens and the Bills. The Bills
obviously on top after a one point victory. Some people

(01:09:43):
don't love that the Ravens are here that high. I've
heard that they lost. Why are they in the top five?
They lost? Why are they so high? It's because they
would have beaten every other team in the NFL, and
you know that they would have beaten every other team
in the NFL. It does not matter. Josh Allen is special.
Now that Ravens team has some issues, they need to
fix a freak fumble from Derek Henry. He only fumbled

(01:10:04):
one time last season, and before that he hadn't fumbled
in two years. He is a monster. He does not
fumble too often, and yet that one went the way
of the Bills and that completely changed the momentum. Quick
changes kind of do that the Ravens needed to regroup.
They should have gone for it. We talked about it
in the first segment. But the Bills hold on to

(01:10:25):
that number one spot. They go to up the up
three spots, and now we have a new number one
for the second week in a row. I cannot wait
to see what happens the rest of the season.

Speaker 3 (01:10:37):
Both of these teams are just so unbelievably talented that
I really hope that it's just those two again in
the AFC Championship. I hope it's she. I hope it's
the Bills of the Ravens in the AH Championship. It
has to be or else I can be happy. I
mean it needs to be. They're both so evenly mattered.
You saw obviously La Marv shouts down MVP fors MVP.
Great game. We had Derrick Henry so obviously earlier, his

(01:11:00):
young self, even though he's thirty one years old. He's
so playing like he just got drafted out of Alabama.
He is absolutely insane. We saw Zave Flowers bloom like that,
but I mean he's gonna be legit. And then we
saw the Bills offense. You saw Josh Allen obviously play
out of his mind, thirty eight fantasy points like three

(01:11:20):
touch four touchdown. He had a great game. Kean Coleman,
he had a phenomenal game. He really stepped up when
the Bills needed them. He made some big time plays
and he's gonna I think he's solid fout himself as
the Bills wide receiver one. I think he'll be better
than Shakur. I think he occurs gonna be great. Don't
get me wrong, but I think Kean Coleman has gonna
be the one receiver one over there. I think he
has Josh Allen trusts him more, and I think he's

(01:11:42):
more talented than Shakur. I think he will be receiver one.
But these this game was just phenomenal both sides.

Speaker 2 (01:11:49):
Of the ball.

Speaker 3 (01:11:49):
Both these teams are either one of these teams. It's
gonna be either the Bills or Ravens coming out of
the AFC. It has to be it's the chief. I'm
gonna be very mad, but it's gonna be one of
the teams. They're both so well rounded, both so good,
and we just saw in that game. Why so. I mean,
they're one of those teams. They're Bulls just so talented.

Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
I mean, no doubt about it. These are the two
best teams in the AFC. You could throw the Bengals
in there, but that defense definitely does not be in
that conversation. Just that offense is enough to put them there.
Other than that, I just think the Ravens are The
Ravens need to get over the hump at some point.
But it's hard, it's hard to choose. It's hard to

(01:12:32):
see who to pick on this one. It is really
really close. It is nitpicking between the two. I would say,
just because the Bills got them this time, I would
put them first. But this is another one of those
situations from like we said from the from the top,
what was it four through eight or no, from the
top three through five. I think this is a preview

(01:12:52):
of the AFC Championship game. I think we're gonna see
the Packers Commanders in the NFC, and the Ravens and
Bills in the AFC. I don't see the Chiefs getting
in there. The only other team outside of these two
teams in AFC that I can see getting there, like
I mentioned, are the Bengals. I don't see the Chargers.
I don't see the Raiders. I don't see the Patriots.
Definitely not the Patriots. I don't see the Texans. Nobody else,

(01:13:14):
just those two teams in my opinion.

Speaker 1 (01:13:17):
All right, may Rob, I know you put together a
little bit of a power ranking here. You told me
you had your top seven teams. Here. Let's finish off
that list. Here, give me your top seven here, these
are super Bowl contenders.

Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
I think my top five are my super Bowl Probably
top six are my Super Bowl contenders.

Speaker 1 (01:13:40):
All right, let's hear at.

Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
Seven, I got the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. At six, I
got the Commanders, the Washington Commanders five, the Los Angeles
Chargers four, Philadelphia Eagles three, Baltimore Ravens two, Green Bay
Packers won the Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 1 (01:14:01):
All right, I like that list a lot. I think
you're a little high on the Chargers for my taste,
but you know what, I love it. I love I
love the takes here.

Speaker 2 (01:14:10):
I think they're probably my funnest team to watch. Watch
out for them. They're gonna be a fun team to
watch throughout the year.

Speaker 3 (01:14:16):
They're gonna be fa for cutting.

Speaker 1 (01:14:17):
I absolutely agree. I love that list. I think all
of those teams have a shot potentially at at at
some magic in the playoffs. We'll just have to wait.
This is just week one, though. We're gonna take a
real quick break when we come back. We finish off
our show with some breaking NBA news, a massive new
contract out of Chicago. Will be right back with that

(01:14:40):
here on the Triple Threat Show. The Welcome back to

(01:16:09):

Meyrab Fittemi and Nolan Jamber Over there. If you are

Check us out everywhere you can as well as ever
you get your podcasts. We're all over there as well.
But we're going to finish off with a little bit

(01:16:51):
of NBA news. Who would have thought in the middle
of Week one the NBA would finally have something for
an offseason that Sham's promised would be the most exciting
offseason ever. It's been a whole bunch of nothing. It
really has been a whole bunch of nothing. And yet
the big piece of news Josh Giddy given a four year,

(01:17:11):
one hundred million dollar deal with the Chicago Bulls. Now
my thoughts on this too much, too much money for
a guy in Josh Giddy who is just simply not
that great at basketball. You can point to his stats
twenty one points after the break last season. He was
really good. Sure, but this is a Bulls team that

(01:17:32):
likes to play in transition, and we saw in the
playoffs he can't play defense. He cannot hit open threes,
which is why the Thunder did not win a championship
two years ago. The Thunder move him off the team
and immediately they win a championship. I don't think that's
a coincidence. If I'm being completely honest with you, I
think he was the cog. I think he was the

(01:17:55):
clog in that machine. They get rid of him and
immediately they become one of the greatest teams of all time. Immediately.
That is not a guy you want to pay twenty
five million dollars a year. Sure, it's a micro win.
You didn't pay him thirty like he was asking, but
still paying him twenty five a year, four years, one

(01:18:15):
hundred million is a mistake, and it's just another one
in a long line of Bulls mistakes. They did this
with Zach Levine. I like Zach Levine. He's not a
guy that should have gotten all that money. They did
this with Lonzo Ball, they did this with DeMar DeRozan. Right,
There's lots of guys over the Bulls history that they
have done this with. It's a pattern. They could have
stopped it this year, and instead, instead Mayrod they continue it,

(01:18:38):
and they give so much money, Draymond Green level money
to a guy that just isn't the answer. In Chicago.

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
Yeah, I remember, I literally text you I was like,
did inflation get that bad where Josh Giddy is getting
a hundred million dollars. Don't get me wrong, he's a
great utility guy, and I love I love what he
brings to the table as a play. But in no way,
shape or form am I paying Josh Kitty twenty five
million dollars a year. It is never happening, never happening

(01:19:09):
in ten years. If the economy wants to jump up
ten trillion dollars, it is never happening. Never Ever. Even
if I had one hundred million dollars, I'm not giving
him twenty five million dollars a year. It is never happening.
So when I look at this team, I have to
say that as much as that I think he's a
good player, I just think I would have paid him

(01:19:30):
probably closer to eighty million. I like the re signing
as the team because you lose Vukevich. Vucevic retired in
the offseason. That was kind of a sneaky move that
a lot of people didn't talk about. They lose de Rose,
and they lose Zach Levine. This is kind of a
team that is really empty. You still have Kobe White,
you still have some nice pieces around across the board,
but you're losing. You don't have your guys anymore. Of course,

(01:19:52):
you're nice. It's nice that you're keeping giddy, but outside
of that, you're running with a whole lot of nothing
in Chicago. So I'm not the Bulls being very good
for a little while. And I see them maybe even
tanking this year for a high draft pick. Could be
a hot take, not too short. Let me know what
you guys think on that one.

Speaker 3 (01:20:11):
It's not crazy. I don't think so. The Bulls haven't
done anything in the past few years. They don't make
it out of the play In, they don't make the
playoffs at all. They're just not They're just a very
mediocre team. They're always it's like the Hawks, it's always
in the play In. Not really doing much with that.
I mean, I just I don't know. The signing itself
isn't bad. Like you said, the money just isn't worth it.
I mean, he look at the stats. He averaged like fifteen,

(01:20:32):
eight and seven. I'm not paying if you're not averaging
at least twenty. I mean, that's just not enough money.
I mean it just too much money. Sort, there's too
much money for a guy that you know is averaging.
You're pretty I mean they don't get me wrong. Those
aren't bad numbers. But I mean for guy averaging, I
guess you can say like a double double. I mean
I will round up, we'll round up two rebounds for
him or two assists. But I mean just not. He's

(01:20:54):
just not worth it. Eighty million have been fine, but no,
it's just not. He's just not that much money. He
really is. He's not a bad player, but you just
can't shoot. He's a good defender, or not a good defender.
He's a good playmaker. He makes good passes, he finds
the people are open, he makes he gets boards. But
like you said, like you said, Jervy, he can't play defense.
He saw the playoffs in the play and he got toasted,

(01:21:15):
he got burnt, he got crossed up. I mean, he
just did everything wrong on defense. He made no adjustments,
and he wasn't one of the reasons they don't make
it out of the playoffs last year, out of the
play in he's play defense, and he didn't make open shots.
He wasn't reliable in the clutch.

Speaker 1 (01:21:29):
And yeah, no I agree, And to your question, may
Rob here, I don't think they're tanking. I don't think
the Bulls are a team that's capable of tanking. This
is the whole process with the Bulls, right, they make
a couple of questionable signings and then they go and

(01:21:49):
just be a nine seed every single year. Their goal,
I feel every year is to be in the play
in and be like, oh, but guys, we almost made
the playoffs. Next year, we could do it, I promise.
And then they do nothing and they get slightly worse
or maybe even a little bit slightly better sometimes, But
then the guys who the eighth seed this time? And

(01:22:11):
then they're the ten seeds, and then they're the seventh
seeds and then they're the nine seed. This is not
a team that's tanking. But they should They shouldn't have
signed Josh Giddy. They should have let him play on
his restricted tag right there, because nobody else was really
gonna sign him. I don't think so. Maybe maybe someone
else wouldn't. Even if they did, it wouldn't be for

(01:22:32):
twenty million, so the offer sheet still would have been
more money. So I'm just I just don't like this
move at all. I'm not a fan of it.

Speaker 2 (01:22:41):
Yeah, No, I'm just happy to be talking basketball again.
It's nice to be back talking really quick. I know
it's kind of random, but a couple months ago we
saw the Nuggets GM talking about the possibility of trading
Joker if the team does not improve. Is that just nonsense?
Is that just there's no way fire or is that

(01:23:02):
a legit thing that could happen at some point?

Speaker 3 (01:23:05):
Yeah, triple double. No, there's no way you trade.

Speaker 2 (01:23:10):
N't you just said it in a press conference. He said,
if we don't get better, we might have to trade fifteen.
And he literally said that in a press conference.

Speaker 3 (01:23:20):
Was it April Fool's Day.

Speaker 1 (01:23:23):
I don't see a world where they trade.

Speaker 3 (01:23:26):
But that's like saying a thunder gonna trade s g A.
It's just not gonna happen. He's there without Without him,
they will retir, They'll be okay, but nowhere near as
you know, a top four seed in the West without him.
Jamal Murray can't take into the four seed, that's for sure.
There's no way they trade. Let's are getting like four
or five five first round picks and like three star players.

(01:23:49):
There's not They're not training him. They trading him to
be like trading honest, it's just like not possible.

Speaker 2 (01:23:55):
Don't yell at me, yell at the Nuggets GM for
saying yes a press conference, Rob, You're a moron.

Speaker 3 (01:24:04):
I would even think about that question. Now, I'm not
thinking about joke. I'm joking.

Speaker 1 (01:24:11):
I bet you, I bet, I bet. It was just
to light a little bit of a fire under his
guys there. But we'll see what happens if the Nuggets
don't get better. Although I do, for the record, think
that the Nuggets got a lot better this offseason. I
love the additions that they made. I thought they were
a huge winner of the offseason around the draft time.
But we'll get more into that as the NBC NBA

(01:24:33):
season uh starts up actually pretty soon, just about what
a month and a half from now, the NBA season
right around the corner. I'm very excited for basketball to
be Psychiannis still gonna be on the Bucks. It seems
like not something that I had in my twenty twenty
six book, but you know what, they got it done.
