Speaker 1 (00:54):
Welcome in everybody to the Triple Threat Show. It is
a Friday. We have a lot to talk about here.
Every single Friday, of course, we go over our game
picks today with me. My friend and co host Caleb
Carney is here. Ignore his name is not on the screen,
but you know what, it doesn't matter. Caleb is here
(01:14):
to help me out with some game picks here on
this very special Friday, September nineteenth. We have a lot
to talk about, so we're gonna just dive right in.
We're doing college and the NFL. We're gonna start off with,
as you saw there on the screen, a couple of
big games from college football. There are fifteen games I
picked out. This is the best college football slate that
we've had yet. I've heard a lot of people saying
(01:36):
that this is not a good college football slate, which
I think is insane. We have at least three ranked
versus ranked matchups, a bunch of teams that could go
down that are ranked. A lot to like about this
schedule and the way it's shaping up. We're gonna start
off with a couple of games. They're gonna be early
on Saturday. Iowa, Iowa at Rutgers Iowa two and a
(01:59):
half point favorite in this one. Iowa, of course, a
team that doesn't score very many points. You have Rutgers,
a team that coached by Greg Ciano, was always gonna
play teams tough. Big ten matchup kicks off the Big
Ten slate in a big way this week. Talk to
me a little bit about this game, Kala.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
I'm a little worried for uh Rutgers. They, as we know,
it's very very easy to get offensive yards on them.
While yes, this is an Iowa team that is not
a big offensive team. That defense at Rutgers does let
up about three hundred and fifty yards a game, and
that is something that we need to keep an eye on.
(02:38):
And maybe this is a chance for Iowa to maybe
get some high offensive yards for a change.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Thin Here's what I'll say. I understand where you're coming
from there. But the thing with Rutgers is again, and
I brought up coach Greg Giano. It's his second second
stint at Rutgers. He always makes this team play close.
The quarterback Aiden Caclianos or cac I forget it starts
with a k Aiden k over there. It's a big
long name he is someone that is going to make
(03:05):
this game interesting. He's not the best quarterback overall, but
Iowa's offense is not going to let them pull away
in this one. If I was a betting man, which
I might be a little bit of a betting man,
I would put a little bit of money, a little
sprinkle on the under in this game, which is always
fun in those Iowa games. But this one should be interesting.
I'm going with Rutgers in this one in a close one.
(03:25):
Sounds like you're going Iowa.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
I could see a world where Rutgers win, but I'm
gonna have to stick with my guns and go with Iowa.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
All right. Should be a good game. But the next
one near and dear to my heart, Caleb, Near and
dear to my heart. Because I have this unbridled I'm
gonna be completely biased on this one. I hope you
at home are ready for a very, very biased take.
James Madison travels to Lynchburg to take on Liberty the Flames,
a team that I just don't like very much for honestly,
(03:55):
no good reason. If I'm going to be completely fair balanced,
you know TMCR all that stuff about it, right, this
is a team that has done nothing wrong. I just
don't like them very much. I don't like them. And also,
this is not a good Liberty team. The claim to
fame of Liberty is that they beat up on the
worst strength of schedule every single year. And yet they've
(04:16):
already lost a game. They lost to Jacksonville State earlier
on this season. They're not the class of the CUSA anymore.
This is a Liberty team that's struggling.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
If I remember correctly, I do believe this team is
actually one and two.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
It's one and two. They lost two games in a row.
This is a team that is really desperately in need
of a win. On this one, Liberty is trying to,
as I've heard people say, get in with the big boys.
And JMU for as short of a time that it
has been at the FBS level, is one of the
(04:49):
contenders for that group of five spot every single year,
at least since they've been eligible. I think they would
have made the playoffs or at least been a group
of six team the one year that they were not
eligible and ranked in the top twenty five. To each
their own over there, Jami favored by eight and a
half in this one. The big question Caleb in this
is what is JAMU gonna do at that quarterback spot,
because right now what they're doing is unsustainable, impossible to
(05:12):
win the games with, and it's going to cause a
lot of problems moving forward.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
I think Jamu is trying to find the hot hand. However,
you need to give quarterbacks substantial playing time to figure
out who is the hot hand. They need to build
a rhythm, they need to build an offense. You can't
keep subbing quarterbacks, you can't keep moving on them around.
Nobody's going to get a hot hand. You can't just
rely on one golden drive and be like, oh, there's
our guy. And that kind of feels like what Jamu's
(05:38):
going for. I love Jmu, You love Jmu. We're big
fans of Jamu, and I'm not a big fan of
this Liberty team. I do think they struggle in a
lot of aspects of this game. Defense could do a
little better and that offense could do a lot better.
So I'm gonna have to stick with my guns. I'm
gonna go Jmu here. You're more than we going to
(05:58):
disagree with me, but I don't think you're going to
stray too far from the tree here.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
I will not be disagreeing with you here. Liberty, while
they are not a good football team, isn't even gonna
have a good home field advantage. Lynchburg and Harrisonburg very
close together, and I've seen a lot of let's go
make this a home game kind of talk from the
JMU fans. So this one means a lot to both
of these They're calling it the Battle of the Blue Ridge,
starting off a new name for a new rivalry series.
(06:24):
It's gonna be a lot of fun. Can't wait to
beat up on Liberty every single year. It should be
a really good time. JMU wins big in this one.
Outside of my little personal wanting to talk about Liberty
being bad. Potential game of the week here, Caleb all Right,
seventeen versus sixteen in the nation, a place that honestly,
I think college game they should have gone instead of
(06:44):
Florida Miami. Whatever, big name, big school Florida Miami. We'll
talk about that one later. Texas Tech travels to Utah.
Utah favored by three and a half in this one.
Utah has one of the best home field advantages in
the sport. Their offense was really bad last year. Cam
Rising of course, dealing with injuries. He is now no
longer on the team. They've a new Heisman level quarterback
(07:08):
over there. But the offense is the question. The defense
for Utah never in question. It's the exact opposite for
Texas Tech. They were huge on the transfer portal. That
was their big thing coming into the season. They won
the transfer portal. They spent a lot of money on
the transfer portal, and now that team is dominated, granted
against not very great opponents. This is gonna be the
(07:28):
first real test for that Texas Tech defense and for
that Utah offense. It's really gonna be a battle which
one of those two units is gonna come out on top.
I think I leaned towards Utah since they're at home,
but this one really is a toss up, and I
think it's a true candidate for Game of the Week.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Yeah, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one.
I'm gonna have to go with Texas Tech. Sure, they
haven't played the All Star teams. However, I am gonna
lean on the fact that that defense is still fresh,
those legs are still good, and they've had two games
three games to two. Really gather themselves and become a
defensive unit. And I do think this is a test,
but I still think they're still fresh, so I think
(08:07):
it could be a really good game.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
I'm very excited for this one, honestly, when I was
looking through the schedule, this is my favorite game of
the week. Honestly, if I had to go and rank them,
this is the one that I think is going to
be the most entertaining and potentially a Big Twelve championship game.
Preview here, Caleb, that is for sure.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
I would agree with you hands.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Down, that's the big one here. Obviously, anything can happen
in the Big Twelve. We saw last year with Arizona
State winning it. They were picked to finish last in
the Big Twelve last year, and the Big Twelve is crazy,
so we never know what's gonna happen. There's a lot
of teams kind of jumbled in that twenty to forty
range when you're ranking teams in the NCAA, filled with
(08:48):
Big twelve teams in that range, Lots of pretty solid teams.
Only one is gonna make the playoffs though, just they're
not elite enough as a conference. Overall. You've got Texas Tech,
I've got Utah. That game should be a lot of fun.
Traveling back across the country. We're going to Tennessee. Memphis,
Tennessee the host of an SEC opponent. Now, the SEC
is finishing their last year without eight without nine conference games.
(09:11):
They're going to nine conference games next year. No more
dog piling on them for that. But they get one
more year of playing these cupcakes. Now that being said,
Memphis not a cupcake. Memphis a contender in the group
of five over there, and Memphis is at home too.
I think homefield advantage college football is such a huge deal.
This game is going to be a lot closer than
(09:33):
people think.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Oh absolutely. I think home field advantage is a big
thing when you move to college football, not so much
when you start moving up. It can be when you
start talking about the big NFL teams, but that's not
what we're talking about. We're at the college level. College
fans don't travel as much, and so you get a
lot of home field fans. And so I think, yes,
Memphis is going to have an amazing atmosphere, and I
(09:57):
think they're going to have a great, great home field
to manage. However, I'm gonna have to go with Arkansas
I like that Arkansas team. I do think that they
can pull it out and it's going to be close.
I do think that if you look at a point spread,
I do think Memphis is going to cover the spread.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Seven and a half is a lot.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
It's a very easy cover for them. I do think
it's gonna be a close game, but I think this
might be like walk off kick type game.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
So here's the thing. Arkansas is very bipolar. Taylor Green
in their quarterback, has these moments where he's a Heisman contender,
but then he has his moments where he's not played
A very good game last week against a very solid
opponent wasn't enough for them to win. In a shootout
against Memphis, it probably will be enough. I'm with you here.
(10:48):
This is gonna be a tight game, and I think
there's gonna be a lot of respect put on Memphis's name.
But I think this game kind of goes maybe not
the exact game script. I think it's gonna be more
of a shootout than Jamie Louiville was. But I think
as far as can hearing those two teams, it's gonna
be very similar to the difference between JMU and Louisville
when it comes to, you know, on the field eye
test kind of situation. But of course, anything can happen
(11:12):
in those kind of games, especially when the f's, especially
when the group of five team is hosted, which that
never really happens. ACC matchups. They continue to kick off
lots of big ACC games as well. This Syracuse Orange
traveled to play the other big Orange team in the ACC,
the Clemson Tigers. Now the Clemson Tigers, Dabo Sweeney seems
(11:32):
like he's on a real hot seat. He's talking some
old coach speak like remember when I was good. If
you want to lose, you can let me go. I
won't coach you. I'll go coach somewhere else. God is
not a good sign for Dabo.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Dabbo.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
The time have kind of passed him by just a
little bit. He does not believe in nil. He believes
in building it quote the right way.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
You know.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
It's it's not it's not. It's not a great, great,
you know start for Clemson, a team that I picked
to win the national championship out of the top twenty
five Kate Klebnick, and that offense has looked atrocious. Now
let's talk about this for a second. That Syracuse defense
may be the worst in the nation, really really bad.
(12:10):
Their offense they can put up points, though Clemson's offense
cannot put up points, and their defense, well, it's good,
has not been good enough for them against some top
tier opponents in LSU and Georgia Tech that they've played.
Clemson last year, though, if you remember, they started off
really really slow offensively as well, and that is something
(12:32):
to keep in mind. You don't know when they're gonna
turn it into gear. But they ended up winning the
ACC last year. They made the playoffs because they won
the ACC because they won on a tear last year.
I think the ACC is deeper this year than it
was last year. But Clemson looks like they could do
what they did last year again. I don't know if
it starts this week. I think they win against Syracuse
(12:52):
because that defense is really bad. But you have to
see signs of life out of that offense if you're
going to get anywhere this season, starting right now.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
I'm gonna have to absolutely agree with you. I think
this is the game for Clemson. If they're going to
turn it around this season, it's gotta be now. If
they're gonna have a good finish to the year. You
can't lose to Syracuse because that just sets up the
rest of your season for just a not great finish.
And I disagree with Davos Sweeney's anti nil money kind
(13:25):
of guy. I understand wanting to build the program from
the old ways. However, that's the thing of the past.
Nobody's doing it anymore. Everyone's gonna outbid you, everyone's gonna
pay more. It's just the name of the game now, see.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
But that's the thing. Because Clemson has the donors, they
have the money. Davos Sweeny's just isn't taking it and
we're seeing it take the toll. Nick Saban got out
at the right time, right Nick Saban got out when
he was still this legendary coach and he didn't have
to deal with with the ever changing, you know, ANIL
system that still it's kind of in that wild wild
(13:58):
West phase right now. We don't know how they're gonna
let just late it. They're starting to come out with
stuff over this year in the next year, but it's
a mess right now. Dabosweeney on the hot seat this
year if they don't turn it or how he's on
the hot seal.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Right, Oh, absolutely, he is in hot waters a week.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
How hot is his seat?
Speaker 3 (14:16):
If if they lose this game to the Orange on Saturday,
he should be looking at some boxes and making sure
that he is ready to start filling out some job applications.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
I hear some other schools might be hiring.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Virginia Tech is hiring.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Virginia Tech is indeed hiring, and maybe just maybe a
Davos MEEENI can bring him up to two wins a season.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
But here's anyways, I don't know about Virginia Tech. I
don't think they hired him. They're really trying to get
that nil train roll in. It's it's a big mess
over there. And Virginia Tech plays Wafford. We're not going
over that game because they're playing Wafford. But just so
you know, not right in Pensilan win for Virginia Tech
right now.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Anything, Nothing is a right in when for Virginia Tech
right now if you go through their schedule.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
But enough dog and on Tech SMU TCU another game
on my list, potentially Game of the week. These are
two unranked teams, but I will say both of these
teams are receiving votes. Both of these teams are really good.
SMU of course made the playoffs last year. TCU got
that big win in primetime against Bill Belichick and the
(15:23):
North Carolina tar Heels. That's a lot of pressure. TCU
looked really good in that game. TCU deserves a lot
of respect there, and I think they're another team that
could be a contender in the Big twelve. SMU still
a contender in the SEC. Excuse me the acc they
lose to Baylor in double overtime. That's not a great loss.
(15:43):
I mean, Baylor's a very good team, so it's not
like a bad loss either, but it's kicked him out
of the top twenty five. They basically need to go
undefeated if they want any kind of playoff hype. Again,
this is where they start. This is going to be
a huge win. I think the winner of this game
vaults into the top twenty five.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Yeah, I could agree with you on that. And you know,
not too long ago we're talking about this TCU team
played Georgia in the National Championship. We won't talk about
how that game.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
We were talking about that. However, they beat JJ McCarthy
in Michigan, though the only.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Jesse ever Stuffy yeah, and I think that that is
just a you know, we're not too far removed from that.
I think that was what two years ago.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
That was a lot longer than two years. Really, it
was like four or five years ago at this No way, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Oh I guess it was. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Oh man, it's been a bit.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Man, I've gotten old. But I do have to agree
with you. I do think whoever wins this SMUTCU game
could potentially be pushed up to twenty five. I don't
think they'll go any higher, but I do think they
could get pushed too twenty five, depending on how the
games inside the top twenty five go.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Well, here's what I'm saying. There's at least three ranked
teams that are going to lose this week, at least three,
so that's gonna open up a spot. A lot of
these teams are at the bottom of the top twenty five,
So if the teams that are near the bottom lose,
they're probably gonna fall out. That opens three spots. I
think this one of these teams, the winner of this
one slides in. I'm leaning towards TCU in this one.
(17:05):
This one I've really gone back and forth on. Honestly,
I like Kelvin Jennings a lot, and I like that
Baylor team that they lost to. But SMU's defense just
concerns me a little bit. I like the way that
TCU flies to the ball, and I really like the
way that their offense plays. I think they're gonna be
able to come out with a huge win. They are
favored in this one. Six and a half points is
(17:25):
a lot of points in this one. I think it's
gonna be close. But I'm leaning TCU on this one.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
And I'm gonna have to follow you on that. I
like SMU's offense, their defense does worry me from time
to time. They struggle with getting turnovers and I just
think whoever controls the ball in this game could control
the game. And so I'm gonna have to follow you
on that. TCU probably ends up with the win.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Or Rocks go for it here. Give us, give us
a little bit of a two and zero over here.
It should be fun. Another ranked matchup. Like I said,
there's three of them. Number twenty two Auburn led by
Oklahoma was x Jackson. Arnold travels too Oklahoma to take
on Heisman candidate John Mattier and the Oklahoma Sooners. The
(18:10):
eleventh ranks Sooners in the nation. The Sooners got a
big win a couple weeks ago over Michigan ranked battle
over there. This is a team that I think could
be a playoff dark horse in the SEC. Now, of course,
last time they entered SEC play tempt just bottom fell
out immediately. But the way that John Mattier is playing,
(18:31):
I think he'll be able to lead them to a win.
The thing that really makes the difference to me in
this game, more than anything, Auburn's defense concerns me. And
more than anything, it's more the fact that the Oklahoma
defense I think is really good. Jackson Arnold can't really
pass the ball, and I think they're gonna be able
to hone in on that. They know that guy. They
played with him last year, they know who he is,
(18:54):
they know his strength, they know his weakness is. I
think Oklahoma's going to be able to take advantage of that.
They get a big top twenty five wins boost their
resume jump into the top ten this week.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
I can agree with that. I'd be a little worried
if I am leading that team. I do think Oklahoma,
with their defense, I mean, they practiced against him all
last season. You're right, They're gonna know everything. So I'm
gonna have to follow a suit on that. And I
do think Oklahoma will get the win with this one.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
I don't they kind of win this one big too.
Like something about me tells something about this game tells
me that Auburn is not going to keep it super close.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
I have a feeling Auburn's going to get into a
situation where they are behind and it's going to put
a lot of pressure on them to throw the ball.
And with a team that you played defense against, are
played in practice for an entire season, got to watch
all your weaknesses when you're under pressure and you have
to play that team, they know exactly how you're gonna react.
And I think you're right. I think the turnovers could matter.
(19:51):
If he starts turning that ball over trying to pass
it and win a game, this game could get out
of hand pretty quickly.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Got a couple of games here that I want to
touch on that have one ranked team one not ranked
team that the ranked team could be in trouble. That's
the reason I put them up here. Two Lane at
Ole miss Ole Maas is ranked number third thirteen in
the Country thirteen and a half point favorites in this
one as well. I am a sucker for a group
of five dog. I really am a sucker for a
(20:17):
group of five dog against a ranked opponent, especially a
good of a group of five dog. We talked about
it with Memphis. Two Lane is better than Memphis, Ole
miss better than Arkansas. They just beat Arkansas, right, they
just beat Oh absolutely, so like this this is this
is like slightly better versus slightly better. Uh, and God,
I so badly want to pick too Lane to win.
(20:39):
I know they're not gonna win. I know they're not
gonna win, but I so badly want to take them
to win. It's gonna be a close game. Here's a
real shot.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Is you just gotta look at it by the fact
of if you say too Lane and they win, you
can say I was right.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
It doesn't matter. I'm always right. That's the thing.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
I guess you're right.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
That's the whole thing. But no, Jake Reetzlov, quarterback formerly
of BYU left at the end of the left really
at the end of the off season, goes and plays
now for TWU. Lane has led them over Duke last week.
They have two fbs power for conference wins already on
(21:20):
the season, looking to make it three. They are kind
of neck and neck with USF if they get this wins.
USF of course beat Boise State ranked team, beat Florida
ranked team, lost to Miami ranked team, but Miami might
be the best team in the nation right now. So
there's a lot to like about this two lane team
and a lot of opportunity for them to really throw
their hat into that mix with a win over with
(21:43):
a win over Ole, Miss. Do I think they'll get
it done. I can't say that they will. I will
say this game is gonna be one possession, this game
is going to be close. I would very, very heavily
lean towards the points with a Tulane on this one, though.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Man oh man, I really want to say Toulane, but
I just man oh, Miss. I mean, they've they've looked consistent,
They've kept it, they've kept it mostly clean. I just
think they gotta continue to do that. And if they
can can continue to do that, I think they could
win over Tulane. However, a wild card like Tulane, like
you said, sucker for a group five. I mean, it
(22:25):
could be a lot of fun to see Tulane win there,
but unfortunately I will have to stick with Old Miss.
But I do think this game will be close.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Look, I took, I took. I couldn't take the underdog
that's not ranked in the last one, But this one
I'm gonna do it. Nebraska at home against number twenty
one Michigan. Michigan led by Bryce Underwood, the true freshman
over there, who has not looked his best. I think
he's gonna be a great quarterback. I've drake the Bryce
Underwood kool aid. I'm all in on Bryce Underwood, but
(22:56):
maybe not this year. Michigan's offense still not there, the
pass cashing unit really isn't the best, the defense still
very good. But Nebraska's quietly put together a really good
start to the season under pseudo Patrick Mahomes over there. Look,
I think this Nebraska team is good enough to throw
their hat into the ring as that fourth best team
(23:17):
in India in the Big Ten, and I think they
really show with a huge win over Michigan. Michigan's favored
in this one only by one and a half. It's
on the road, too, That's gonna be a raucous environment
in Nebraska. I'm taking the corn Huskers.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Okay, I can see where you're going with that, and
I might agree with you. I mean home field advantage.
We talked about it earlier. You're talking about it with Memphis.
I do think it's a bigger advantage in a place
like Nebraska. People from Michigan are not going to travel.
They're just not gonna do it. Nebraska is gonna be
a full Nebraska packed stadium, and I just think it's
(23:54):
gonna be too loud, and I think for a true freshman,
the lights are gonna shine too bright for him, and
I think he's gonna gonna just get nervous and get
some cold feet.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
M I don't know. It should be fun, It should
be fun. Are you taking Michigan in this one? Are
you taking Nebraska's going Nebraska here?
Speaker 2 (24:09):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (24:09):
I really thought you were going to Michigan on that one.
Oh all right, Well we were kind of toe and
toe on this one. This one is interesting. NC stayed
at Duke in state rivalry here. Duke a darling of mine.
Quarterback Darian Mensa, I think is an NFL level quarterback.
I love the way that he plays football. I fell
in love with him when I was watching him play
at Tulane last year. He is really fun. He reminds
(24:31):
me a lot of Jordan Love. That's who reminds me
of just the way that he plays football. But Duke
has lost, just straight up lost the last two games,
not like just because they scored less points they should
have won, especially against Illinois, they just lost because they
turned the ball over. And it wasn't all offense. It
was stupid penalties, it was muffed punts, it was just
(24:52):
about everything that could have gone wrong went wrong in
a game that they should have won against a ranked opponent.
So this is not a Duke team to slouch on.
But NC State has started hot as well. They got
a big win against Virginia UVA, which I think UVA
is a sneaky good team this year, thirty five to
thirty one in that one. That offense for an NC
State is going to be a problem. And the way
that Duke is playing, with how many mistakes they're making,
(25:14):
I'm betting against the Blue Devils in this one. Give
me the wolf Pack to get to have the upset
here in Durham.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
So here here's my problem. I thought I was gonna
be going against you on this one. But for some reason,
n C State has got a soft spot in my heart.
I really liked them for some reason. They're just a
fun team to watch. And I mean, maybe it's just
that I'm not a big fan of Duke. I you know,
I grew up watching UVA so and that was a
(25:44):
big lacrosse rivalry. So maybe it's just me not liking
Duke as much.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
You could have said a million different rivalries. You went lacrosse.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
I watched it so much lacrosse. I'm sorry. I was
a big lacrosse guy. But I mean n C State,
I've got to go with him. I think the problems
with offense, the problems with special team mistakes, mistakes, mistakes,
it's going to tear them down. And so I think
(26:12):
in C State just gotta be consistent, just got to
play it safe, and I think you can win the game.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
It should be fun. Honestly, I bet on Duke every
single week and have gotten it wrong. So now that
I'm betting against them, probably shouldn't have Probably with me here,
I'll tell you that. But of course I'm never wrong,
so I won't be wrong here. Another big game, South
Carolina at Missouri twenty third ranked Missouri South Carolina. Not
(26:39):
right now. South Carolina is coming off of a loss
to Vanderbilt, a very good Vanderbilt squad this year. Leonora's
Seller's injury in question. That's the big story of the game.
He was upgraded to probable today. That is a huge,
huge piece of information because if he goes this, all
of a sudden becomes a game. We've seen Missouri be vulnerable,
(27:00):
especially with quarterbacks that can use their legs. We saw
it against Kansas. Missouri ended up pulling away at the
end after a couple of Kansas mistakes, some miscue and turnovers,
some sack fumble kind of situations over there. Missouri's a
really good squad. I think this is a better Missouri
squad than it was last year, and Missouri was ranked
way up there, top fifteen. I believe they even cracked
(27:20):
the top ten for a hot second there. Missouri did
last year. But I think this is a better Missouri team.
Don't sleep on the don't don't sleep on South Carolina.
Their offense has not been there. It really has not
been there. But if Leonora Sellers can get it going
like they had it at the end of the season,
this is a team that I thought should have made
the playoffs last year they were with their first team
(27:42):
out for me, just because the way the cookie ended
up crumbling with the automatic bids and all that stuff.
He is someone that can absolutely turn it around. And
if he's healthy and ready to go, South Carolina makes
this a game. If he doesn't go, Missouri wins this
one point plane period. But if he does, and it
seems like he will, maybe not at one hundred percent,
(28:04):
I think I'm still leaning Missouri on this one, but
it's going to be maybe game of the week kind
of situation.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
And you said my exact reasoning for my pick right there.
If he plays maybe not at one hundred percent, you
need him at one hundred percent. You need to be
both throwing the ball and running the ball. You can't
let him just start going. But if he's not playing
out one hundred percent, he's probably not running the ball
(28:33):
as much. And I think it's gonna back them up,
and I think it's gonna put them into hard spots,
and so I think Missouri is just it's their game
to lose once again. You know, I've said it a
couple of times. There are games this week that I
think it is one team's job to lose the game,
and I think it's college football mistakes happen.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
It happens all the time.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
It is such a common occurrence. But I'm gonna say
it again, this is Missouri's game to lose.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Absolutely Florida Miami, number four Miami game day in this one,
Carson Beck playing like the number one overall quarterback in
the nation. That Miami defense flying around. Imagine if cam
Ward had this defense last year, they could be a
national championship contender. Instead, cam Ward is dealing with the
same thing over in the NFL. No defense, no offensive line,
(29:21):
just doing his thing. That's a topic for our next segment. Actually,
we'll get into that a little bit of tease for
you guys over there. But number four Miami, Florida team
that needs this one in the worst way. A loss
to South Florida followed by a close loss to LSU,
top five team in the nation, they can get right
back up there. It's a real tough schedule. If they
beat Miami in Miami, that one's going to be a
(29:45):
really fun watch. But Miami is too good. Florida is
not good enough. I like their players, I like their quarterback,
he's throwing away to way too many interceptions. DJ Lagway
cannot continue to play this care free with the football.
He needs to lock in, not throw five picks in
(30:05):
the game. It just can't be done. I'm taking Miami
in a blowout in this one. They're favored by seven
and a half. I think they might win by double that.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
I could see an unfortunate situation where this is an
absolute blowout. I think Miami is disrespected by being number four.
I love this Miami team. I think it should be
much higher. I think they should be arguing for the
two or one position, and I mean, we'll just see
(30:35):
it on full display. I think this weekend against Florida,
and I mean it's supposed to be a beautiful day
that weekend, and we'll just wait and see.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
Yeah, I've got him at number two in the nation.
So this is a team that I absolutely love. I
couldn't quite put them over Ohio State they got that
win over Texas, But I do love this Miamixas hasn't
looked good. Texas has not looked that good, but still,
I mean they've fallen every week right two week one,
eight week to one week zero, eight week one after
that loss, and then I didn't do a rank as
(31:06):
the next week. But now they're down to nine. Uh
so you know, there's there's a there's a lot to
there's a lot to see. Maybe they should be number one.
I've continued to say this, Maybe they're the best team
in the nation. I say that every time I do
my rankings. I got three more games to go over,
one more, one more Top twenty five game. Number nine
Illinois travels to Bloomington, Indiana to take on number nineteen Indiana.
(31:30):
This one is going to be fun. Indiana's favored in
this one. They're at home. Kurt Signetti gonna get them
boys ready. He's gonna get them going. But as guys
that have that have sat through the Kurt Signetti era
over at JMU, he has a tendency in these big
games too, I don't see. That's the thing. I don't
really know the adjective here. I was trying to describe
this to my coworkers at the radio station. Uh, and
(31:51):
I was like, he just kind of plays scared in
these big games. He's plays scared. He doesn't make those
big plays, he doesn't get his guys ready.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
And then it just he does the opposite of what
other teams do. Other teams that get into the spotlight,
they're like, this is my time to shine, and Kirk
Signetti does the exact opposite. He gets into that spotlight
and he's like, we need to play safe football.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Don't turn the ball over.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
But save football to a fault.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
Right, he's scared.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
There's no passes over twenty yards. There's still points in
time in the game where you've got to test the safeties.
You've got to throw that ball deep. And we've sat
through JMU seasons under Kirk Signetti. He was a great coach.
Don't get me wrong, Kurt's a fantastic coach. However, Kurt
needs to continue to throw the ball, continue to push
(32:39):
it deep while also keeping a balance.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Look, things can change when you're at a power program,
that's the thing. And he didn't look super scared when
they played Notre Dame in the playoffs. They kind of
got killed in that one, but it wasn't like he
played scared in that one either. He got him go
and it was it was fun. Maybe they'll be able
to do it. Indian A favored by six and a half.
Even if he doesn't play scare that's too many points.
I'm taking. I'm taking Illinois. I'm taking the returning production.
(33:06):
I'm betting on Luke Altmeyer. I'm taking Illinois to win
this game.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
I I'll have to disagree with you on this. I
think it'll be fun to see Indiana win. I think
it'll be good. It's gonna be close, and I think
it'll be a shootout. I think this will be a
lot of fun to watch.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
Should be two more games. Left's got two more for you.
We're gonna we're gonna speed run through these a little bit.
Arizona State at Baylor. I lied, We're not speed running
through this one. I love this game. This game is
gonna be a lot of fun. I'm actually so excited
for this game. Arizona State, of course, started real high
up in the rankings. They came off a playoff appearance
where they almost beat Texas in round one. We weren't
able to pull it off. A lot of their big
(33:41):
guys are gone, but still this is a solid Arizona's
date squad. Baylor, my darlings. I love this Baylor team.
They lost one game to an Auburn team that's ranked
number twenty two in the nation. And they barely lost
that game. And then they go out and they beat
the number seventeen ranked team in the nation at the
time in SMU in double overtime. That offense for Baylor elite.
(34:03):
The defense for Baylor, we can skip that conversation. It's
not very good, but that offense is good enough to
keep up with anything they throw at them. And I
don't know how that Arizona State is gonna keep up
with Baylor's offense. I think Baylor wins kind of big
in this one. They're favored by two and a half,
but I feel very happy with that kind of lean.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
Remind me how Arizona got their offense running last year.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
Oh, a certain guy on the New York Giants currently.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
Oh right, right, Yeah, you're gonna have to count me
out on Arizona on this one. Yeah. Without him, I
think I just can't see that offense getting fired up
against a big team. I mean, I think Baylor's got
a chance in this one, and I think I think
they're taking home.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
Should be last game for you. This one's on the
list solely for our guy, Nolan Nojo over here. Shout
out Nolan here, Michigan State student Nolan Jamber not pictured
right now, but that's fine. Michigan State at number twenty
five USC, you will see favored by twenty points.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Now.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
I did tell Nolan when we were prepping for the
show here that this game is going to be a
real make or break point for that Michigan State team.
Michigan State hasn't really played much of anybody. They only
won by one point over Boston College was a little
bit concerning. But I'm not in love with this USC
team either. I don't think this USC team is all
(35:22):
that its cracked up to be. Seventeen and a half
points is a lot. At the same time, I don't
really think Michigan State stands much of a chance in
this game. They can keep it within three possessions. I
feel very confident in saying that they can probably keep
it within two possessions. But this is a real litmus
test for Michigan State, and I think people are gonna
(35:44):
take it more as a litmus test for USC. If
Michigan State keeps it close, it's not gonna be a
good look for that I'm taking USC. But I think
it's gonna be a lot closer than people think.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
I'm gonna have to agree with you. I do think
that people are gonna take this as a litmus test
for USC and not for me Michigan State. I mean,
Michigan is just looking to keep up with USC, That's
all I got. But I mean, other than that, I
think USC is going home with it.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
Yeah. Absolutely, That's the college football picks real quick. I'm
gonna run through we went through fifteen games. I'm taking
Rutgers over Iowa, JMU over Liberty, Utah over Texas Tech.
Excuse me, Arkansas over Memphis. I'm taking Clemson over Syracuse,
TCU over SMU, Oklahoma over Auburn, Ole, miss over Toulane,
Nebraska in an upset, over Michigan, NC State over Duke,
(36:33):
Missouri over South Carolina, Miami over Florida, Illinois over Indiana,
Baylor over Arizona State, and USC to take down Michigan State.
When we return after this break, we'll take a look
at the Big Boy League, the NFL. Fifteen more games
to go through, Caleb, We're gonna go through each and
every single one of them. Give our prediction that I've
(36:54):
even got scores for you on this one. Come on back.
That's coming up next here on the Triple three. Welcome
(39:53):
back to the Triple Threat Show. We're your hosts, Jeremy
Lapedis and Caleb Carney. Welcome back, and if you're just
tuning in, we just finished going over the top fifteen
college football games in the entire nation this week. We
picked all of them. We gave our top five games,
and we weren't wrong about a single one. You can
go and check that out. Of course, if you are

(40:35):
Give us a follow everywhere you can find us all
over the internet. Of course, Kayla, but we have a
lot to get into, it, says, I know college football
get big game picks here. But that's what we just did,
and now it is time for NFL week free game picks.
It has been a really solid start to the season.
A lot of these games have been close. I think
(40:57):
Week three is where we get a little bit of
a departure from that. I think we have a lot
more blowouts this week than close games. There's only been
nine games decided in the entire NFL so far, not
including last night by more than one possession, very close
games across the NFL the first two weeks. That's not
to say there won't be any close games at all.
There's going to be close games. There's gonna be a
couple of really good ones, including a couple potential super
(41:20):
Bowl matchups, late playoff matchups out there. There's a lot
there's a lot of really new games this week, but
we're gonna start off with the one that I don't
think is gonna be very good. Like I said, there's
a couple games that I don't think are gonna be
very good, and this one feels like a write up
move on. The Green Bay Packers travel to the Cleveland
Browns to take on those Cleveland Browns. Cleveland's a dog
(41:42):
by seven and a half points in this one, the
Packers arguably looking like the best team in the NFL.
The Browns, on the other hands, not quite at that
same level. If I'm being completely honest with the UK lob.
They are not necessarily the worst, but I'd say they're
definitely bottom three. Uh, that's not a great matchup against
a top three team versus the bottom three team. We
(42:03):
saw it on Thursday Night Football, a game that even
though the Bills didn't dominate, they felt like they controlled
the whole time. Green Bay is gonna roll in this one.
I don't think we need to say too much. Micaeh
Parson's gonna eat twenty seven to ten, green Bay dominates.
Speaker 2 (42:16):
I think it's where Dylan Gabriel takes over. Really see,
I think this is I think this is the time
that they change quarterback.
Speaker 1 (42:22):
This is an interesting conversation because the reason I don't
think they do it is because I don't think they
want him to die in his first start against Micah
Parsons and the Packers.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
I think this is trial by fire. It's Cleveland. You
can't it's Cleveland.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
You can't trial by fire your rookie quarterback. I'm sorry,
Start him next week. Start him next week, Caleb, when
when the Browns have a much better matchup. Look the
Browns next week, right, they have the Lions, not in Superma.
He's exactly so maybe you skip a week you go
to the Lions, you go to the Vikings. Uh, oh,
you have that, you have that Brian Flores defense. Okay,
(42:56):
maybe we skip a week the Steelers TJ wat Maybe
week seven versus the Dolphins. That that is when you're
going to Seeclia. You're seeing him Week seven versus the Dolphins.
After that is an awful, awful string of bass rushing.
It is not going to be trial by fire. You
(43:17):
cannot start him into week seven.
Speaker 2 (43:19):
I know you disagree with me, and I understand why
you disagree with me, but you got to remember we've
got the Cleveland Browns jersey right behind us. We know
how it goes in Cleveland. I think there's a chance
that we see a rookie hit the field this week.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
Well, he hit the field last week, but it was
already done.
Speaker 2 (43:36):
It better, it was done, it was over.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
He could do it again. That's the kind of situation
we can see.
Speaker 2 (43:40):
We're looking at like a second quarter type of injury.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
Wow, I I don't think he comes, if he comes
at all, into the fourth quarter. But again, this is
going to be a blowout of a game. The Green
Bay Packers are going to dominate.
Speaker 2 (43:54):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
And I'm taking the Packers again twenty seven ten. I
assume you're on the Packers too. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure
if you were gonna go all Homer here or not.
But no, absolutely good. How I'm not but you got
your Cleveland Brown jersey.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
Yeah, I just like Nick Chubb, he played for Georgia.
Speaker 1 (44:10):
That's how it goes. That's how it goes. How about
this one? How about this one is a sneaky interesting
matchup Indiana Jones and the undefeated, undefeated Indianapolis Colts, favored
by four and a half points, traveled to division rival Tennessee.
I told you we'd talk a little bit about cam Ward,
didn't I. Here we are, Cam Woard talk cam Ward
being let down by everybody. That's the cam Ward talk.
(44:31):
The offensive line very bad. The receivers they're getting better
at catching the ball, they're still struggling to catch the ball.
Cam Woard doing his very best. Daniel Jones. If I
had to guess, if you had to guess, where in
the NFL do you think Daniel Jones is ranked as
far as passing yards go.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
I saw this earlier, so I'm not gonna spoil it.
I'll let you say it.
Speaker 1 (44:53):
You know the answer. You know the answer.
Speaker 2 (44:54):
That's fine. I just I'm a little shocked. I'm a
little surprised, and I'm I am sitting here and I
don't want to believe it.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
Look second place, I don't want to believe the second
place behind only Russell Wilson. How about that?
Speaker 2 (45:07):
I just don't want to believe it. I looked at
those stats actually yesterday, and I was just staring at
them because it's just names that you did not think
you'd see at the top anymore. It's just names that
you were You're left curious about what is going on
this season.
Speaker 1 (45:25):
Here's what I'll say. I'm not sold on this Colds team.
I'm not sold on how bad this Titans team has been. Either.
This game could be sneaky interesting. I don't think that
that Titans team is going to win, And I don't
think this game is really gonna tell us too much
about either one of these teams either. But I will
say this game is not going to be a blowout.
It's not gonna be an easy win for Daniel Jones.
(45:46):
But I think Danil Jones improved to three and zero,
thirty to twenty, and I think the Titans fall to
oh win three.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
I'm gonna disagree with you. I think it's going to
be a lot of fun and I think it is
time to see cam Ward get his moment, and I
think we're gonna see some touchdowns. I think this is
possibly going to be a high scoring game, or it
could be a very low scoring game. I think they're
gonna be tit for tat on this and it's just
gonna be hit one, hit one, and I just think
(46:15):
it's gonna be fun game to watch.
Speaker 1 (46:17):
The Colts are gonna put up points. I'm gonna promise
you that the Colts the only team in the twenty
in the twenty first century, the entire twenty first century,
to excuse me, not just the twenty first century, the
only team in the Super Bowl era to not punt
in the first two weeks. That offense is going to roll.
They're not gonna punt it. They might punt it, but
they're going to roll a little bit. I think there's
(46:39):
gonna be points scored. If it's by both teams, maybe
it's going to be by at least one team, and
that team is going to be the.
Speaker 2 (46:46):
I'm waiting for the Daniel Jones fall apart. We'll see.
Speaker 1 (46:48):
I don't think it happens this week. I don't think
that Titans defensive line is good enough for that. And
he just went up against maybe the best defensive line
in the Broncos and look just fine. So it's not
gonna happen this week. I don't think. But you about
the Titans in this one.
Speaker 2 (47:01):
Absolutely, I think it's gonna be a fun game. It's
gonna be fun.
Speaker 1 (47:03):
It's a sneaky good game. It's a sneaky good game.
Think about another sneaky good game, the battle of a backups?
How about that Week three, We've already got a battle
of the backups. How about Jake Browning and the Cincinnati
Bengals traveling to Minnesota to take on Carson Wentz and
the Minnesota Vikings. Carson Wentz is fifteen and five years
J McCarthy goes down with I'm not gonna doubt the injury,
(47:25):
but the little conspiracy theorist inside my head says, we
need to see somebody else out there, and they need
an excuse not to start JJ McCarthy this week. Look,
I could be way wrong about that, and I'm not
gonna say with my full chest, but that's that little
conspiracy theory brain inside of me that's saying, I don't
know about this one. The Bengals, here's what I'll say.
(47:48):
People are so down on them right now, But Jake
Browning is one of the best backups in the NFL.
Jake Browning has had hot take. Jake Browning has had
to fill in for Joe Burrow a lot. Last time
we saw him in an extended period of time, he
was four and three. That two to zero buffer for
the Cincinnati Bengals team means everything. Joe Burrow is gonna
(48:10):
miss three months. He could get back for potentially the
last few games of the regular season if they really
push it. If Jake Browning goes five hundred, will say
he plays twelve games, Yeah, twelve games. That gets you
all the way to Week fifteen. He plays twelve games,
that's three months, eight and six, eight and six. That
puts you in spot for a wild card right there.
(48:30):
That could potentially if Joe Burrow comes back and you
win the last three games, which, by the way, those
last three games for the Bengals very very winnable. The Dolphins,
the Cardinals, the Browns, that's very winnable games. For Joe Burrow,
if he's able to come back there. If if Jake
Browning can go five hundred, which I think is a
really attainable goal. With the wide receivers that they have,
the offensive weapons that he has, he can put up
(48:53):
offensive numbers.
Speaker 2 (48:54):
It's the defense.
Speaker 1 (48:55):
The defense is going to be the defense. They were
able to beat the Jags last week, who I think
has really really good offense as well, So this is struggled.
This is, of course, the defense has struggled. I'm just
saying Jake Browning is not as bad as people think,
and I think the Cincinnati Bengals take care of business
in this one against Carson Wentz.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
Man, oh Man, Carson Wentz, I'm gonna have to follow
you on this. The glass cannon himself is not an
awe inspiring pick for me. Carson Wentz, he looked good
for the first little bit that he was in the league.
He had that injury and he's just never come back
from it since. I mean, you know, that's the it's
the nickname that I've always heard from him. He's a
(49:33):
glass cannon. I mean, when he's playing good, he's playing great,
but he's liable to fall apart. At any moment, just
from non contact injuries, and that just that makes me worried.
I don't is he going to finish the game?
Speaker 1 (49:46):
I mean, I'm not so worried about his injuries. I'm
more worried about him. He very famously does a lot
of what Will Levis was doing last year. It's not great.
You can't have him doing that in the game.
Speaker 2 (49:57):
Quit you're telling me the shortest pick six and NFL
history is not all inspiring.
Speaker 1 (50:03):
It's it's not great. I'm not gonna lie to you.
It's not good. It's not good at all. There is
there's uh ooh, that's big. I don't I don't know
if I believe you? Is it? Hold on, We're gonna
fact check that, Philly. But in the meantime, I'm taking
the I'm taking the Bengals to win twenty four to
twenty one. I assume you're on the same kind of
(50:24):
page here. Let's talk a little about Pittsburgh, New England.
Talk to me a little bit about Pittsburgh New England.
This was the toughest game for me to pick, honestly
the entire week. What do you think is gonna What's
what's your read on this.
Speaker 2 (50:34):
Game, man, Pittsburgh, they they are the Highs and they
are at the exact same time the Lows. I mean,
you're you're looking at a special teams unit that just
last week. Caleb Johnson just let that football sit in
the end zone, Seahawks go and lay on it. It's
a free touchdown. This is not college. They're having these
(50:56):
young guys play special teams and it needs to be
drilled into their head. You can't be making simple mistakes.
This is the NFL. This is no longer college. You've
gotta play. You've gotta go. Were you able to figure
out what?
Speaker 1 (51:09):
Yeah, a little, a little, I'm gonna refute your report
here a little bit, Uh, Philly, mike O g over there.
Jaden Daniels has been shut down for the game. It
is not a season ending shut down, but still definitely
something to notice. And we'll get to that when we
talk about that Washington game. Uh, you went with who
(51:30):
in this game.
Speaker 2 (51:30):
I haven't said who I'm going with yet. I was
just talking about how Steelers are just exactly the exact
same time the Highs and the Lows. I mean, they
just got to get it figured out. I know you
were doing your research there, but I think I think
Aaron Rodgers Steelers still weird to say, I think they
can bring it home. I'm not not too high on
(51:52):
on this on this game. I'm just not too high
on this pick either. I think this is this game
could really just swing at any more. I mean, you
put Caleb Johnson on kick return in the game, can
just flip just like that.
Speaker 1 (52:03):
So, I mean Caleb Johnson has not seeing the field
this week. No, it's just a shame. He's a talented
rookie potentially could have been something, but not this year,
maybe not ever. That's that's a tough one to have
to recover from. In one of your first touches in
the NFL touches, he didn't even touch it. Think he
touched it.
Speaker 2 (52:20):
He let it, He let it go right by him.
You watched it, he watched it hit the end zone
and just walked away.
Speaker 1 (52:25):
Still on him, He's got to be better at that.
He's got to know the rules. Pittsburgh is favored in
this one. They're on the road. I think New England
roles in this one. I think Drake May's looked better
and better every single game. That's Steelers defense. Let me
tell you really concern it. They've given up over thirty
points in each of the first two games this season.
You know who they've played in first two games this season, Caleb.
(52:46):
They've played the Jets, the Justin Fields Jets, the Sam
Darnold Seahawks. That is not okay. You cannot be giving
three thirty points to each of those two teams and
nearly four hundred yards in each of those games. That
is unacceptable. That defense is really just not up to par.
(53:08):
And I think that New England's gonna roll in this one.
Look for a big game from the running backs, whether
that's Trevon Henderson or Ramandre Stevenson. They're gonna have big
games running the ball. Peens Heve's have been able to
run all over Pittsburgh this year.
Speaker 2 (53:21):
I'd love to see more Travon Henderson.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
I would, but I'm not sure how it's gonna go.
It's it's gonna be really interesting. I'm taking New England
to win this game twenty six to twenty three, but
it could be even bigger.
Speaker 2 (53:30):
I think I'm gonna stick with my guns. I gotta
go with the Aaron Rodgers Steelers. I think it's just
an interesting, interesting rog game that we could have over
there in New England.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
Yeah. Look, look, we've talked a lot about bad games.
Speaker 2 (53:44):
This is a bad game.
Speaker 1 (53:45):
This one. I won't say a bad game. But I
want to talk about a good game. I want to
talk about a potential game of the week. I want
to talk about an NFC Divisional Round rematch. I want
to talk about the team that potentially could have taken
out the Philadelphia Eagle. The Los Angeles Rams and Matthew
Stafford travel on back to the site of that snowy
Blizzard game where they lost in January, just twelve yards
(54:09):
away from greatness, from taking down the Eagles and facing
the Commanders in an NFC championship game, potentially advancing all
the way to the Super Bowl, looking for revenge on
this one. The Eagles favorite. I lied, Eagles not favored
in this one. Actually, I'm shocked by that, by my
own writing. The Eagles not favored in this one three
(54:30):
and a half points being given to the Rams. Excuse me,
I lied, it's to the Eagles. That makes a lot
more sense. The Eagles favored in this one by three
and XL. I've played myself. I wrote it down wrong
because I'm going with the Rams on this one. That's
why I thought it was the Rams. The Rams are
gonna win this game. They're going for revenge. It's not snowy.
Look that Eagles offense. I like saque I like Jalen Hurts,
(54:54):
I like AJ Brown, and I like DeVonta Smith. It's
not working right now. Their star slow, that defense is
not the same, and I think Puka is gonna pick
them apart on taking the Rams in a close one
one point game. Eagles go for to and failed at
the end of it. I think that's what the difference is.
Twenty six to twenty five. The Rams win this one.
Speaker 2 (55:13):
All right. Hear me out. Hear me out. We talked
a lot about home field advantage she did in college,
and we said it is not as much of a
factor in the NFL. But if there is any team
that I believe has a home to home field advantage,
it is the Philadelphia Eagles. And this being at that stadium,
(55:39):
I mean, Eagles at home is just a dangerous thing.
Speaker 1 (55:43):
They're not unbeatable.
Speaker 2 (55:44):
Though they're not unbeatable. I'm not saying they're unbeatable, but
I think it's gonna get loud and it's gonna get rowdy,
and I think this game is gonna be close. But
I think and the event that it is coming down
to a two point conversion, I think the Eagles convert.
I think the Eagles win this game in a close,
very close game, but I do think the Rams cover
(56:07):
this read.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
Should be fun. I'm big on the Rams. I think
the Rams are gonna be the representatives out of the
NFC for the Super Bowl this year, so I'm big
on the Rams. I think this is a big test
and I think they pass it with a B plus.
I won't say flying colors B plus B plus for
the Rams. That's a passing grade, and the passing grade
is all you need to win this game. Taking the
Rams in this game, we're going back to bad. I'm
(56:31):
sorry we talked about good for a second, but we're
going right back to bad. Tyrod Taylor and the New
York Jets travel down to Tampa to take on one
Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Baconeers. It's a good
game for the Bucks. If you're a Bucks fan, Tyron
Taylor I think could cause some problems. That is a
Bucks defense that's not the best and the real thing
(56:53):
I'm concerned about Caleb is the offensive line for the Bucks. Now,
do I think it's enough for the Jets to win, No,
absolutely not. But do I think it's enough for them
to put a little bit of pressure, especially early on
that game. I think so. I'm still taking the Bucks
to win big, thirty one to ten. I think this
is my biggest margin of the week. Actually, But.
Speaker 2 (57:15):
As you might know, I am I am a Baker
Mayfield fan. I love Baker Mayfield. He is just a
character to watch. I mean, it's just so much fun
to watch him. He falls down in that game against Texans,
and he sees an immediate moment to just get up,
get in a man's face, and just start yelling back.
He takes no opportunities or he does not miss an
(57:38):
opportunity to start talking smack. And I think Baker Mayfield's
gonna be talking smack all the way home. And I
think he's gonna be carrying home in w I think
it's gonna be a fun, fun game to watch, and
I don't think it's gonna be close. I think this
game is gonna get away from the Jets. I love
these I love the Buccaneers. That offense is hot right now.
That wide receiver room. I know it's missing Chris Godwin,
(58:01):
but it is still looking good.
Speaker 1 (58:02):
Yeah, Buka stepping up huge, three touchdowns, two games. That
rookie potentially rookie of your favorite right now with the
things that he's doing over there. But there's a lot
of good rookie wide receivers, a lot of good rookie
performers so far. Breaking news from Philly Mike go six
oh G. Excuse me, thank you for tuning in. Not
quite one hundred percent right, but I do appreciate the
heads up. Jayden Daniels has been shut down for this game. Yes,
(58:28):
it's it's not a high knee ligament tear, as Philly
Mike og is reporting, but it is a bone bruise
on the knee. Something to watch, something to pay attention to.
They're playing the Raiders this week in Washington, or I
should say Land over Maryland. But this is a Washington
team that even with Jayden Daniels, I don't know if
(58:51):
they win this game. I think people are really sleeping
on the Raiders after that Monday night performance. And if
you're sleeping on the Raiders after that Monday night performance,
I'm not mad at you. That was a really, really
bad performance by Gino Smith and the Raiders. But I
think we're underrating how good that Chargers defense is more
than anything, and I don't think they're gonna have anything
(59:12):
like that kind of pressures Deetrich Wise goes down. He
is a huge piece of that defense. They're dealing with
injuries to one of their top corners, rookie tray Amos
in Washington. That's gonna be tough. I think brock Bowers
is gonna be healthier. I think there's gonna be more
of a focus on the getting that run game going
with Ashton Genty in this game, and I think this
is just going to be an overall better game from
(59:35):
the Raiders, especially with Marcus Mariota playing. I think they win,
but it was gonna be close either way. If Jade
Daniels plays, they probably win only if he's healthy, but
I will say it was gonna be close either way.
Marcus Mariote is gonna play good. He looked really good
with the Commanders the first couple of the only couple
games he played last year. Right he was two and
up when he played meaningful minutes in the games. I'm
(59:57):
taking the Raiders in this one, though twenty seven to
twenty four upset the Washington Commanders at home.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
See my issue is is I'm gonna have to agree
with you on that. I mean, the Commanders are missing
some parts at o line, They're missing some pieces at
the defensive line, They're missing some corners. They've got all
types of injuries across the board. And even if Jade
and Daniels for some reason did play, he'd be injured.
You've got Marcus Mariota, who I mean, he used to
(01:00:27):
be a really good quarterback, could have been really good.
He's real good in college, absolutely really good at college.
He was okay in the NFL, didn't put up numbers
like they expected. Do. I think he can possibly come
in and win a game maybe, but not against the Raiders.
Not here, not at this moment. I think this is
(01:00:50):
the time for the Raiders to really get their offensive
munit back together, put it together, get the pieces rolling,
and take a win against the Commanders.
Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
Yeah. Absolutely should be. Should be a really fun one. Honestly,
I think Geno Smith's gonna have a really big bat
bounce back game in this one. Houston and Jacksonville, I
want you to start on this one because I'm really
curious what your thoughts are. I have my answer. I
want to know what you think about these teams, because
this one could really go one of two ways.
Speaker 2 (01:01:22):
I don't like Jacksonville. I understand why people are high
on Jacksonville. I understand why people like that offensive unit.
I don't. I think there's too many questions and there's
too many inconsistencies about performance. It worries me and I
can't confidently choose Jacksonville to win a game. They could
(01:01:43):
absolutely go out and win this game. This is a
very easily obtainable win for them. They could easily go
and just win this game outright. However, they are very
inconsistent the Texans. A lot of question marks is there?
I mean, is Chubb gonna start moving? Nick Chubb looked slow.
(01:02:03):
Nick Chubb looked old, Just to put it lightly, I
like Nick Chubb, but he did not look like him
his former self. He struggled a lot in that game.
He had a couple of good, good runs of the
previous week, But I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
C J.
Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
Strout's gonna start throwing that ball. You can't rely on
a run game that even once Joe Mixon comes back,
you still can't rely on that run game. I said it,
and I'm gonna go against my own word. I do
think Jacksonville wins this game, but they've gotta they've gotta
have some consistency in the play this week, and they've
(01:02:44):
gotta they've got to get that ball out.
Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
I'm with you on this one. I think Jacksonville wins
this game. They're favored in this one one and a
half points. This is a vision game, so it's gonna
best of all, it's a it's a division game at
home for Jacksonville. The big concern for me, and let's
let's break this down from the Texans size first. The
big concerns for me, it's it's the Texans offensive line.
I'll just I'll start with that. That Texans offensive line
(01:03:07):
is the worst in the NFL, and it's making everything
with the Texans offense just immediately worse.
Speaker 2 (01:03:12):
CJ.
Speaker 1 (01:03:12):
Stroud unable to get the ball out on time or
accurately consistently under pressure, Nick Chubb and the rest of
that running game not able to get anything going because
the defensive lines are living in the backfield. That being
set the defense for the Texans.
Speaker 2 (01:03:27):
I love the Texans defense.
Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
That Texans defense might be the best in football. It
really might be. It's an elite defensive unit really at
all three levels. It's very special, and it's hard to
get that many great weapons on one side of the
ball together. You're in your super Bowl window. With CJ.
Strouden's rookie contract, with the offensive line that bad, they're
nowhere close to super Bowl contenders. Jacksonville on the other side,
(01:03:49):
Trevor Lawrence, I don't think he's playing as bad as
people are saying he is. Brian Thomas Junior. He needs
to step it up and he needs to not be
scared to get hit. I understand it's scary to get hit.
I understand I wouldn't want to get hit. I understand
you probably wouldn't want to get hit either. Caleb Right,
I'm sure he doesn't want to get hit. And you
know what, I respect that, I understand that. I empathize
(01:04:10):
with that.
Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
I'm afraid of a two hundred and fifty pounds linebacker
were running at my face.
Speaker 1 (01:04:15):
But I'm also not paid millions of dollars to catch
a football and get hit. Yes, that's the thing, it's
part of the job description. And I'm not saying he's
being a sissy, right, I'm not saying it's unreasonable to
not want to get hit, But especially in the end zone,
you have to go for those balls. You can't pull
back at the last second. You cannot do that and
(01:04:37):
expect to win games. That is really what screwed the
Jaguars out of a win last week. I think they're
gonna put a focus on that as the national media
really talked about that a lot this week, or at
least a lot of the media that I was seeing
was talking about Brian thomas junior struggles. This week, I'm
taking the Jags. I think this is just a tough
start to the season for Houston. They fall to zero
to three. I still think they can win that division.
(01:04:58):
I still really think they can. It's gonna be tough
now that the Colts are playing better, but I think
Houston can rebound. I think the offensive line is gonna
get better. I'm taking the Jags to win thirty to
twenty three. Though, Denver at the Chargers another division game here.
I talked about the Chargers, right. I love this Chargers defense.
Jesse Minter, the defensive coordinator, I told you in the
(01:05:19):
middle of that Monday night football game. He is going
to get a head coaching job because of what he's doing.
That Chargers defense is one of the best units in football,
and I talked about it on the show. I talked
about it with you, the way that he is coaching
that team, that defensive line, especially to get their hands
up in the passing lanes, making lives difficult for the quarterback,
not just because they can get home, but because he
(01:05:41):
no longer has those little rifle it in windows, because
the mits are in the way. He can't get it
through there. That makes it so much harder. Nine deflect
passes on Monday night football. That is insane. That is
super impressive, and it makes everybody's life on that offense
a whole lot harder. It makes it harder to get
zip on the ball and makes it easier for the
secondary to play the defense. I'm just super impressed with
(01:06:02):
that Chargers defense. Bon Nicks I don't like very famously.
Bonnicks hater number one Jeremy lapedis right here, not a
big fan of his. He looked really good in Week
two against the Colts, looked really bad Week one against
the Titans, and I think he's gonna struggle in week two.
In Week three here against the Chargers, I think it's
enough that it's gonna be not a blowout of a game.
(01:06:24):
But I still think the Chargers take care of business
pretty easily. They win twenty four to seventeen.
Speaker 2 (01:06:30):
All Right, I got a question.
Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
I love answering questions Khalil Mack. He is hurt.
Speaker 2 (01:06:36):
That's going to put a damper on that Chargers defense. However,
if they.
Speaker 1 (01:06:40):
Can keep a counter Derwin James, that's fair.
Speaker 2 (01:06:45):
If they can keep playing how they did and deflecting
as many passes as they did. We were talking about
old school football. Put your hands up, that ball's coming out.
Put your hands up. Just it's all you gotta do.
You're a defense line. You're not gonna run down the
field and tackle a wide receiver. Just put your hands up.
The worst that happens is you missed the ball. And
(01:07:08):
we talked about that, and I think the coaching is
amazing for the fact that they are putting their hands
up and it's working. They are blocking passes, even for
wide open receivers. Sure coverage is blown, but it doesn't
matter if the pass never reaches them. I think this
Chargers defense, if they stay playing how they did, wins
(01:07:31):
this game.
Speaker 1 (01:07:32):
I here's the thing too, Gino Smith, he is a
very tall man, and they were able to block all
those passes. Bonix is not as tall as Gino Smith.
He's not sure. He's not Kyler Murray, but he's not
as tall as Gino Smith. So it's those balls were
coming out high and you saw that deep down the field.
The end zone play, the one where the commentators were like,
(01:07:54):
I don't know, maybe he should have put a little
more zip on that. He can't put more zip on it.
The hands are in the way, it's impossible. It makes
a quarterback's life very difficult. And as much as I
talk about that defensive line that secondary was flying around,
they really were. It was super impressive to watch how
much energy effort and everything they were playing with the
three e's energy effort, everything, it's it's it's it's super fun.
(01:08:17):
I love this Chargers team, I love this Chargers defense,
and I think they're gonna roll in this one. How
about another bad game. We've talked about some good games.
You want another bad one?
Speaker 2 (01:08:26):
The Saints?
Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
The Saints that automatically makes it a bad game. Right,
they're playing the Seahawks, now Saints Seahawks, maybe the Saints
of a chance. Spencer Ratler has never won a game
in the NFL. That sucks. I don't think that changes here.
I think that Seahawks defense is gonna be way too
good for him. It's gonna be a problem. Sam Darnold,
(01:08:50):
He'll be okay, he'll be fine. He'll be fine. Kenny
Walker will be able to run through this defense. No,
Zach Sharboney, that's gonna be a little bit of a
hit for them. But I do think Seattle, favored by
seven and a half half points, wins this. It's gonna
be close, it's gonna be low scoring. I'm taking the
Seahawks sixteen to thirteen.
Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
You've consistently told me time and time again. If Kenny
Walker is healthy, he we're getting here. He is a
top ten running back, possibly top five, not top five.
You've you've told me.
Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
I've never said that.
Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Oh you you said he's getting close.
Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
Nope, never have said that in my entire life.
Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
You're lying.
Speaker 1 (01:09:28):
I have never said that in my whole life.
Speaker 2 (01:09:30):
Maybe you were just gaslighting friends, and maybe I fell
for your gaslighting. Could have, but I think Kenny Walker,
if he starts playing good, if he's running good, I
think it's it's an easy game. I don't think spencerer
Rattler will ever win a I don't think he will
(01:09:50):
ever win an NFL game. I it's it's my hot take.
I don't even think it's a hot take. I just
don't think he will ever win an NFL game.
Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
As a start, It's possible, It's very possible. Here. I'm
rolling with the Seahawks. It's gonna be a lot closer
than people think, though. Dallas in Dallas and the Bears,
Dallas and the Bears, the Bears, the Bears in Chicago,
Dallas favored one and a half. That line flipped a
little bit. How about the Dallas offense very good at football?
(01:10:20):
How about that Dallas defense very bad at football? How
about that Chicago Bears team very bad at football?
Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
Very bad?
Speaker 1 (01:10:27):
Here all, here's what I'll say. It's not Caleb Williams fault.
It's not Caleb Williams fault. It's not Caleb Williams fault.
Speaker 2 (01:10:38):
I watched him seal a ball.
Speaker 1 (01:10:41):
I am not saying that Caleb Williams is perfect. I'm
not saying that he's even a top twenty quarterback in
the NFL because but the way that he is playing,
the way that the rest of that Bears team is playing,
It's not Caleb's fault. They're injured. They're going to lose
this game, but I think they're going to be able
to put up points. I'm taken Dallas forty to thirty three.
Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
You think the Bears can put up that many points?
Speaker 1 (01:11:05):
I really do that Dallas defense. Is how many points
did the Giants just put up against them?
Speaker 2 (01:11:10):
It does not thirty seven. I think that Giants. I
think the Giants offense is better than that Bears offense.
I do not like the Bears offense. I I've watched
Cale Williams and I'm just not I'm not liking how
he is throwing the ball.
Speaker 1 (01:11:28):
It's the Kyle m Nung guy game, I'm telling you.
But he's not even starting right now yet.
Speaker 2 (01:11:34):
You're right yet.
Speaker 1 (01:11:35):
You see, it was the Ali Gordon game last last night,
wasn't it?
Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
What kind of kind of it was a It was
a pretty good split. Allie Gordon looked good. But we're
not talking about the Dolphins right now. But now I
think I think Dallas wins. I'd be shocked if the
Bears get three touchdowns.
Speaker 1 (01:11:54):
A couple more games to run through. Last one on
the four o'clock slate, A really good one teams, The
Arizona Cardinals travel to the San Francisco forty nine ers.
Mac Jones, mac Jones in that quarterback? How about that
mac Jones one to oh is a starter with San Francisco.
Looked pretty good against the Saints. Can he do it again?
Favored by two and a half points against an Arizona
(01:12:16):
team that's won by one score over Arizona, over the
Panthers and the Saints. Ooh. I don't really know how
I feel about that Arizona Cardinals team. They almost they
really tried to blow that game. That was one of
the worst endings to a game. I've ever seen.
Speaker 2 (01:12:29):
How many penalties everyone, I was trying to ask how
many penalties were on that final drive? Every single one. Yeah,
I've never seen so many penalties to end a game.
Speaker 1 (01:12:40):
Yeah, it was really bad.
Speaker 2 (01:12:41):
It was on both teams too, so it wasn't really
just felt like that game wasn't gonna end. No, it was.
It was shocking. I remember sitting next to you and
we're just staring at each other because we were just like, Wow,
this is this is the epitome of terrible football.
Speaker 1 (01:12:57):
So all that being said, I think mac Jones is
too after this one. I think they win this game
twenty eight to twenty four behind a competent defense in
the forty nine Ers.
Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
Mac Jones is not gonna not gonna win this game.
He's going to get a lot of help from the defense.
I still think the forty nine Ers win, but it's
not going to be on mac Jones's hands.
Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
Yeah, I agree, all right, two more games, two more
primetime games. I'm really curious about this one. I've heard
a lot of really interesting takes about this one. We
have my New York Giants at home after dropping thirty
seven points on the Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
I've been waiting for this game.
Speaker 1 (01:13:34):
Taking on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Two
teams at oh and two, one of them will fold
to ohen three. And let me tell you, only nine
teams all time have made the playoffs after starting oh
to three. Kansas City does not feel like a shoe
in to win this game, which is crazy to sit now,
(01:13:56):
are the Giants gonna win this game. Is Russell Wilson
gonna throw for four hundred fifty more yards? No, Russell
Wilson is not gonna throw for four hundred and fifty
more yards. But that Giants defense is no joke. It
really isn't. The Chiefs have no run game and they
don't really have the weapons at wide receiver either. I
assume Zavier Worthy is not gonna play. I don't know
who's gonna be the big player to get it done
(01:14:17):
on Kansas City. You can't have You can't Patrick Mahomes
running for sixty yards every single game. You just simply
can't have that happen. I'm taking the Chiefs. They're favored
by six and a half, but this game is going
to be very scary, and I think there's a real shot,
like a good sixty to forty shot in favor of
(01:14:39):
the Chiefs, of course, where this game could go the
other way. Twenty seven to twenty one's my final score.
That's just could the Giant blow this? I think I
think this is more a Giants lose this game than
the Chiefs win it kind of thing.
Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
I never thought there would be a game where I
am choosing the Giants and you are choosing against the Giants.
That defensive line of the Giants, it is scary. It
is a scary unit. It is so much fun to
watch because they just don't care who's standing in front
of them. They are not worried about what offensive lineman
(01:15:12):
is in front of them. They are going to work
and they are going to town. They are a wrecking
ball of a unit. Those linebackers over there in New York.
I don't know how they managed to amass all of them,
but they are good, and they are fast, and they
are all over the place. And I'm just interested to
see if if Russell Wilson can play all right, if
(01:15:35):
he can play like a top fifteen, top sixteen quarterback,
they can win this game. I you know, I talked
to one of my buddies this week and he made
a joke that he had wanted his Giants to be
the exact same record as the Chiefs. And he texted
me this past weekend and he said, not like this,
(01:16:00):
but I think I think it's it's gonna be a
fun week. When we see an zero to three Chiefs
and we see a one to two Giants.
Speaker 1 (01:16:08):
That would be crazy. Here's what I'll say. The reason
I'm picking the Chiefs defensive coordinator Shane Bowen for the
New York Giants does not know how to call a defense.
You know what my least favorite defense is in all
of football. I'm sure you know. I think I told
you about this. I hate the prevent defense. Shane Bowen
loves the prevent defense. He loves the prevent defense, especially
in an overtime game where a kicker can make it
(01:16:30):
from seventy yards like that. Okay, that is stupid. If
you can get to the fifty yard line and kick
a game winning field goal, you should not be playing
prevent defense. And yet, and yet, and yet they're playing
prevent defense. I think Shane Bowen should be fired. I
(01:16:52):
don't think it's Brian Dables' fault. And I think the
Chiefs are gonna win because Shane Bowen may be the
worst defensive coordinator all of football. Regardless of that, this
should be a fun game on Sunday Night football. And
I don't think the Giants are gonna get blown out,
which makes me happy. That's a win in my book.
Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
That is a low barn. Look.
Speaker 1 (01:17:11):
The Giants are bad. It's fine. I accept it. It's fine.
Speaker 2 (01:17:15):
Shout out Sterling Shepherd.
Speaker 1 (01:17:17):
Shout out Sterling Shepherd. For real, shout out, shout out
Sterling Shepherd. Here's what I've got for you. Game of
the week. Game of the week, Baltimore Detroit. This one's
very interesting. We've seen two very polar opposite Detroit teams
in the first two weeks of the season. We have
seen five touchdown Jared Goff and we've seen Jared Goff
(01:17:38):
against the Packers.
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
We've seen Jared Goff and Jared Goof.
Speaker 1 (01:17:43):
We have seen Jared Goff and Jared Goof very very apt. Absolutely,
it is not good. It is not a good situation
when teams are getting pressure against Jared Goff. We've seen
him against the Bears. That one. Well, now we get
a test against yet another yet another good you know team,
(01:18:09):
not the Bears, another good team. This is gonna be
again a litmus test for the for the If I replayed.
Speaker 2 (01:18:15):
Five minutes ago, we did just say that the Bears are.
Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
Bad, bad football at football. We did say that.
Speaker 2 (01:18:21):
So I don't think using the Bears as a litmus
test for the Lions is a very good situation. Scoring
fifty two points on a bad football team is not
a good situation. I think that was just a hey,
Ben Johnson, this is what you get for leaving us
type of game. It's a bad team that Ben Johnson
(01:18:44):
has inherited, and I think the Lions let him know.
But then we watched Jared Goof play against the Packers.
Speaker 1 (01:18:55):
I'm taking Baltimore to win this one pretty handily. I
don't trust that Lions team against a good team out
at Shane Brisland, he says, I witnessed the Casey defense
destroyed Wilson Wilson on Christmas. She's buy a million. That's
one point for me, not a point for you. So
I win this debate. Chiefs are gonna win. Maybe not
buy a million, Shane, but they're gonna win.
Speaker 2 (01:19:16):
I'm unfortunately cheering for your team, so point for me.
Speaker 1 (01:19:20):
I win either way. Really in this one, I'm either
happy or right.
Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
This is this is how you are technically never wrong.
Speaker 1 (01:19:28):
I'm never wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:19:29):
This is how you win that debate of I'm never wrong.
It's the Ah that's my team, man. But yeah, no, Ravens.
Ravens are gonna win this game against the line.
Speaker 1 (01:19:43):
Ravens victory. Derek Henry runs wild, Lamar Jackson throws for
three more touchdowns. Gonna be a big game. We'll run
through our games real quick. Green Bay over Cleveland, Indianapolis
over Tennessee, Cincinnati over Minnesota, the Patriots over the Steelers,
the Rams over the Eagles, the Buccaneers over the Jets,
the Raiders over the Commanders, Jags over the Texans, Chargers
(01:20:07):
over the Broncos, Seahawks beat the Saints, were taken the
Cowboys to take down the Bears. San Francisco and Mac
Jones beats the Arizona Cardinals, the Chiefs, they beat the
New York Giants, and Baltimore. On Monday Night, football finishes
off the week with a big victory over the Detroit Lions.
(01:20:28):
