Speaker 2 (00:24):
All Right, welcome episode of the scene of truck Talk,
the official podcasts.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Of the Brampton Steelheads.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
And if you're listening right here at SAGA and I
sixty am, or you could be watching on YouTube. There's
three different ways to get a hold of this great,
great podcast. My name is Mike care Felitis and along
with my capadre Brendan Lang, we're both broadcasters of the
Brampton Steelheads. Brampton Steelheads. Yes, they have been looking good lately, Brent.
(00:51):
But first let's start off with Brendan. Hey, how you doing, man?
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Yeah, you know, I've been been pretty good, right, Like
you said, the Steelheads have been playing some decent hockey
as of late, and for me it's just kind of
been a been more of the same last I guess
last week because we didn't have a show the week before,
I actually got out on the pond. It froze over
finally around my house, so me and my and my
friends went out played for like five hours last last Sunday. Yeah,
(01:20):
it was it was a really nice day. Actually it
was sunny, there was no wind, it was like five
minus five degrees and it was yeah, yeah, there's I mean,
I live on a ravine, so like there's a there's
a bunch of ponds around my house here that we've
we've gone to for like since we were you know,
ten years old. So we're still yeah, still playing it.
And it finally got cold enough last year. I think
(01:40):
we only got out once. It's actually been pretty cold
here recently, so probably be able to get out again
at some point. But yeah, that was fun. Other than
that though, not a not too much going on.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
That ice must be really thick then, Oh yeah, why
don't you like golding.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Right through the ice or something.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
Oh no, we've again, like we've played on it since
we were ten years old. We know what, we know
what it's years old. Like, I mean, my dad used
to build a rink in the backyard, so we'd either
play in the backyard or we'd go to the pond.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
And that's great.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
Yeah, so it's funny, you know, it's the same guy
still playing and uh and yeah, it's you know, once
it gets so once you get like a week of
like under minus ten at night. The ice will be
thick enough, you'll be good. It's not that it's not
that deep either. So it was yeah, No, it was
a good time, good time.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Good, amazing, very very good.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Well, this side of the this side of the this
side of the aisle, things are things are good. I
think I was telling you already, but I guess i'll
tell the people. My son skated for the first time.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Yeah, and uh he looked really good.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
I'll tell you that right now. I mean I was
very very impressed the way he was helping himself up,
the way he was skating. He was doing a little
little pitter stop uh uh steps, you know what I mean. Right,
And they had the good teachers there and stuff like that,
but really proud of them. Uh, really proud parrots over
here at that right now. So and uh I was
(03:02):
screaming at him, less screaming, you know, motivating.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Him, right right right.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
I got a boy, and.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
You going, I got a boy. Good job at a boy.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Come on, keep it up, you know, let's go.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
And he's looking at me, and then he fell for
the first time, and I'm like, oh no, right, you know,
because you never know what's gonna happen when they fall
the first time, he gets up, gives me the thumbs up,
and he starts smiling.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I said out loud, I got a boy, I said, yeah.
I was very proud of him. So butter than that. Yeah, right. So, uh,
back at the rink, I mean really really busy, of course. Uh,
we had some games. Well, let's go go over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I guess we can start off with the Owen Sound
attack kind of well, I five four win for the
Owen Sound attacking overtime. Brendan uh Steele has had a
four to one league going into that third period, though
coming up with the points should have came with two.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Though, let's be.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
Real, Yeah, for sure, obviously it's big to pick up
points wherever you can. Owen Sound a team that's you know,
not in the playoff picture right now, and a team
kind of similar in a similar spot as North Bay.
The weekend before that, the Steelheads played, of course in
the Western Conference with the with the Owen Sound Attack.
But I think the Steelheads, you know, they played a
(04:19):
good forty minutes forty five forty eight minutes, Like I mean,
for the majority of the game, they were the noticeable
better team. Out there. They were up four wise you
mentioned in the third period, and then it just kind
of fell apart a little bit in the defensive zone,
and especially when you're playing against a team that's not
in the playoff picture, and those are the games kind
(04:40):
of that you're expected to win. Those are the games
you have to win going down the stretch if you
want to move up in the standing. Because obviously the
Steelheads dealt with so many injuries. We talked at length
about that, so they kind of stalled out, did the
best that they could at the time with a lot
of their players out of the lineup. Now is the
time to really start jumping up the standing. So it
is tough to lose out on a point on that one,
But if you want to look the positive side of it, again,
(05:02):
they were the better team for the vast majority of
that game, and then just some defensive zone hiccups that
I think can can definitely be turned around, and then
of course the overtime winner by Landon Hooky. So yeah,
I think there are definitely positives to take out of that,
but obviously not the result of the steal that's we're
looking for.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
That was the first.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
First game for Connor Simith against his old team who
got traded over from the Owen Sound attack. But I'll
give you my ball my impression of that game right now.
I mean, I'm probably the same way liked as you.
They're just you know, the coast right along two periods,
everything's looking good and then it just came down to
a couple of mistakes in the third period and Owen
san capitalized on it. But you got to give Owen
(05:42):
Sound credit though. They're a scrappy young team that worked
really hard in that third period and really deserved to
get maybe to get those two points.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
But maybe.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Yeah, so Steve, let's get a point out of that,
which is fine, which is good. Point is good, right,
better than zero? And uh well, now then they move
on to to play the Kitchen Rangers. Total bounce back game,
big win, four to one. Brandon, I mean, Jack guy
mclovid was absolutely phenomenal in that game. Luke Misa with
(06:13):
the hat trick as well. I thought the defense was
really really good in that game. Spencer Solva probably one
of his I mentioned it before, I'll mention it again,
probably is one of his best games of the season.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
The way he was coming up and down the ice.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
The former assistant captain of course of the Erieaters came
over in the beginning of the season, just to clear
clarify that for anybody doesn't know the way he's using
his speed, the way he was hitting, just a total,
total different player.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
I thought his best game of the season.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Yeah, I mean, I think there were a lot of
positives to take out of that Kitchener game. And before
I moved to that, you're right, I think Owen Sound,
you know, to give them credit. Young teams, they're always
going to come out with a lot of fight or
young players just trying to prove themselves in the league.
So it's it's always going to be that way. And
Owen Sound is no different for the kitchen game. I
think the steel Heads all year, I mean they've gotten
up to play the top teams, and that game was
(07:05):
no different like Kitchener. Obviously they just beat you know,
just over a week before that in Kitchener. It was
actually the only regulation lost the Kitchener had in the
past ten games going into that, and then the Steeles
do pick up the win. But all the things that
you laid out there, I mean, there's just so many
positives to take from that. First, you said Jack ivan
Covid came up with a huge game against Kitchener Rangers.
That's now two games against Kitchener that he's been great
(07:26):
in this year. Obviously, he's going to be a huge
piece of this team going down the stretch. And another
thing you mentioned, of course Luke Misa getting the hat
trick four points. He picks up an assist as well
on the other goal. Lisa had kind of been slumping
a little bit going into that game, so to be
able to get that, I think he didn't have points
in the three before the Owen Sound game. He did
have an assist in the Owen Sound Game, and then
(07:47):
he gets the four there against Kitchener, So I think
that that's such a big piece of the puzzle to
that game is of course they get the win. Yes,
he picks up the four points, but it's to kind
of break through and if you can get him going
on that second line, I know you got to watch
out for this offense because we know what the top
line's been doing. Marton Raykoff Mactinell. Sure they haven't played
together as much in recent days, but we know they're
(08:09):
going to put up the offense. If you get somebody
like Luke Mesa going as he's been all season long.
Just a slight kind of slow down there, but I
would expect him to ramp it right back up. You
get him going again, you get Adamsidlicky back in the
lineup who's had a great season, Vilmer Alwerkson, who's looked
really good since he's come over in the trade. Now
you're looking at some serious a series second line and
some serious depth. So big game for Luke Me's, a
(08:31):
big game for the steel Leeds, and then Spencer Sova
great game. Remember James Richmond a couple of weeks ago
said that he challenged him and he and not just
this kitchener, even though I do agree with you that
it was probably his best game of the season. After
James Richmond told us that he's looked like a different
player in all the coffers I've seen him playing, Like,
the intensity is there, the intensity and the physicality in
(08:53):
the defensive zone is massively different that we've seen from Silva.
Just the buy in it and he's he was, I mean,
he was still really good early on in the year,
and I think he's even taken it to another level.
You know that the offense is going to be there.
He's still, like you said, moving with the puck well
all that, but now on the defensive zone, bringing the physicality,
bringing that intensity. I mean he's looked really, really good
(09:13):
these past two weeks and you gotta like too.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
I mean, the team is health and they say it again,
the team is healthy again now, and it seems like
to me maybe the chemistry is starting to come back.
You can totally see it, right, and so you know
the chemistry is not going to come back right away, folks.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
I mean everybody this team is healthy.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
It has been healthy now for what a couple of
weeks now, that's it.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Three weeks, right, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
And even when everyone got everyone, when everyone got healthy,
you had Raykoff who missed a little bit with an illness.
He had said, lay, you missed a little bit with
an illness. So even then, they haven't fully been healthy.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Now they're healthy, and now you can see the chemistry
starting to come back.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
And this is a good thing.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
This is what this everybody expected out of this Steelheads
team is to be dominant. Expect them to really really
have a good set and half of this season. As
long as everybody stays healthy, I think they're gonna really
really make a push.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
So let's talk about.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
The standings really really quick here. So now the Steelheads,
they gained a lot on that weekend. So now there
are only four points behind the Sudbury Wolves for that
sixth place in the Eastern Conference as the Steelhead sit
in seven Steelheads have a game in hand Bulldogs fifty
two points, who sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
This is how close it is.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
And the Steelheads with forty five points still have two
games in hand on the Branford Bulldogs.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
This is huge.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
Now they play the Sudbury Wolves four more times, right,
just to say the Branford Bulldogs once. And I kind
of wish that schedule maker didn't put all those games
against the Branford Bulldogs when everybody was hurt, when everybody
was hurt and everybody's off of World Juniors. Otherwise it
probably would have been a different story. But I'll tell
(10:54):
you something, right now, those AP's really played well against
the Branford Bulldogs. But so then you look at the
Barry Colts with fifty three points, who sit in fourth
in the Eastern Conference.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
The Barry Colts and third with fifty four points.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
I mean, look, how closest is Niagri Ice Dogs with
fifty five points sitting in second, the Ostwar Genals with
fifty six points sitting in first.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Still it's top three games in hand in the first.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Place Ostro Generals, just to say, two games in hand
on the second place Niagre Ice Dogs, one game in
hand on the Barry Colts, uh Sam getting on of
games played with the Kings of Fonnacks. But I expect
them to make a big, big push in this second half,
and we're going to see that steel X team that
weird that was ranked high in the CHL standings to
(11:36):
start the season.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
One hundred percent. Yeah, I couldn't agree with you more.
As you said, everybody getting back. Obviously, the chemistry takes
a little bit of time to get everybody going, but
it seems like they're really starting to click on all cylinders,
and yeah, they're looking obviously, it's it's a tough road
trip coming up four games here on the road. You
have the three coming up this weekend that we'll talk
a little bit about later on in the show. But yeah,
(11:58):
it's a big stretch for them, and and I like
the way that they're that they're trending at this point.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
All right, so let's take a break and then we'll
come back with our guests.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
And it's a big guest.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
I'll tell you that right now when we come back,
right here at Saga on sixty am.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
No Radio, no problem. Stream is live on SAGA nine
sixty am dot c A.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
All right, welcome out your breakhock right here Sago on
sixty am.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
I carefully this along with Brendan Lang.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
We are both broadcasters off the Brampton Steelheads, and i'd like.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
To welcome in.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
He's six ' six, two hundred and seventeen pounds. I
feel like a wrestling announcer here, seventeen pounds defenceman, property
of the Anaheim Ducks, the big Rick Smith defenseman.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Welcome to truck Talk, Connor. How you doing?
Speaker 5 (13:21):
Thank you doing very good? And yeah, it's an honor
to be here and just a little podcast with you guys.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
I love it so much. Thank you so much. Really
appreciate that. It's an honor. You see that looking up
at I mean, look at the manners on this sun now.
Speaker 5 (13:34):
I told you I love the intro too.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
I know I should have been I'm telling you I
should have been a wrestling announcer man.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
All right, all right, so my first question, I'll start
it off.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
I guess, Connor, what do you tell the people what
you bring to the Brampton Steel Arts.
Speaker 6 (13:51):
Yeah, I'm a big, shutdown, physical defenseman. I'm brought in
here to play my physical style of game and to
instill fear into the opponents and to also keep the
pluck out of the net.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
Do my best ability to.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
Do that, and then yeah, just do that physical presence.
And I guess, like, I don't know, it's it's a
it's a weird word.
Speaker 5 (14:16):
Explain it.
Speaker 6 (14:17):
But my play style allows other guys to be more
confident out there and do their thing, and just it's
a it's a team effort to go for this championship.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
And and we've seen kind of how you've mashed on
the ice with the team. It's it's been a pretty
short time. But how's kind of the the meshing been
off the ice and just kind of with all the guys.
Speaker 6 (14:37):
Yeah, it's great, great group of guys, great group of coaches,
and uh yeah, everyone gets along. Everyone jokes around with
each other. It's a great room, great atmosphere. In there,
and that's definitely what you need for a championship team.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
All right, My question is how did you get the
nickname the Big Rig?
Speaker 3 (14:55):
I got enough please. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (14:58):
It goes a while back. I think I was thirteen
years old or fourteen years old and Eric Wallwood is
a buddy of my dad and met him for the
first time.
Speaker 5 (15:10):
And he was, oh, like, you know what, you're a
big Greg. I'm gonna call you Big Greg. So he
called me Big Greg.
Speaker 6 (15:17):
And then my dad kind of stuck with it, and
then yeah, it just stuck with me and everyone else
starting in Peterborough and once down everyone just called me
Big Greg or the Rigs.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
So yeah, I guess that's how it stuck.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Love it.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
So you say, at that point you were like thirteen fourteen, like,
have you always been been taller than everyone else? Was
there like a big grosperd in there?
Speaker 6 (15:42):
Yeah, I've always been I've always been taller than everybody else.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
I never really had like a big groth burd.
Speaker 6 (15:47):
It was always just a good growth every year, right,
So yeah, I guess I was always on the bigger side.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
I'd say, Holy Holy you know what.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Okay, So you want a championship with the Peterborough Pete right,
and you come over and then you went to and
then you got traded to the Owen Sound Attack, and
then you got traded to the Brampton Steelers. Of course,
now winning that championship with the Peats, what kind of
advice do you have for the guys the guys ever
asked you? You know, you know, talk to me about
that experience and all that kind of stuff, and you
(16:17):
know what, what can you tell the guys about that
experience the leader.
Speaker 6 (16:21):
That you are, Yeah, it was obviously a great experience,
but a lot of it comes off the ice, how
the team is off the ice, how how you interact
with each other, how you hold guys accountable. It's it's
a lot on the players and obviously the coaching staff
as well. But the players gotta ta get into their
own hands and have each other's backs, but also be
(16:43):
able to correct the guy without taking it personal and.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
Stuff like that. So and then on the ice, on
the ice peaks for yourself.
Speaker 6 (16:51):
Obviously, you need all the tools need to score goals,
You need to keep goals out than that, you need
great goaltending, great defense, great forwards.
Speaker 5 (17:00):
We all have.
Speaker 6 (17:00):
So it's definitely a team that I definitely love, and
it it reminds me of the team in Peterborough that
we had, So it's a good sight to see and
I'm very excited for the future.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
And Mikey kind of just laid out there that the
history of you being traded of course owen sound and
then being traded a second time. Most guys, you know,
don't get traded twice when they're in the OHL. So
how does that experience help you, you know already going through
this now coming into it for the second time.
Speaker 6 (17:25):
Yeah, obviously it makes it a little bit easier. You
know what to expect, and being an overrager in this league,
I know, I kind of know guys on each team.
Played with Steven van Bolsen and Peterborough for a little bit,
so it.
Speaker 5 (17:37):
Was made it a little bit easier coming in.
Speaker 6 (17:39):
But yeah, you get to know guys on the ice,
whether it's for good or bad. But when you're on
the same team, you put everything to this side and
you're just it's a brotherhood. So I've been here not
even two weeks, and I can already tell like this
is family, like where a team that's gonna go far
and we're gonna do a lot of damage.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Oh man, I love it. I love everything you're saying
right now. It's just like it's so soothing.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
Right, But everybody says the same thing, right, but it's
not just you, all right. So, I mean, you're gonna
be going into Windsor this weekend, right, and this is
a place where you grew up, probably going to be
your last most likely be your last game in Windsor.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Right. I'm sure there's.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Gonna be lots of family and friends are gonna be
watching you, of course, you know, being a Windsor native.
Talk about that emotionally, how you're going to be feeling
going in there.
Speaker 5 (18:30):
Yeah, it's a great experience.
Speaker 6 (18:32):
I still remember the first time I played in Windsor,
I had close to two hundred, three hundred people come
out and support me. It means a lot a big
family guy, and there's lots of friends and family out there. Yeah,
Like and once down it was actually the game right
before my injury. The next game was actually in Windsor,
so I missed out on that, but I worked out
(18:54):
perfectly where I get to go back home for that
last time and just soak it up and yeah, come
on with two points there go now.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Of course, being from Winsor, is that your your favorite
place to play outside of outside of home throughout your career.
Speaker 6 (19:08):
Yeah, I think Windsor is because I always thought it
was a really neat rank, really cool rank. It's in
my top five, maybe the top three for ranks in
the OHL, so yeah, I definitely put it up there.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
So you drafted by the Anaheim Ducks, of course, Uh,
you played some actually some experience with the.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
San Diego Gulls with the AHL team, so talk about that,
talk about the whole experience.
Speaker 6 (19:32):
Yeah, it's been a great, a great experience so far.
This year, played played two preseason games before I came
back to the OHL, so that was huge to get
that experience under my belt playing against NHL guys, and
then last year getting the call up to San Diego
at the end of the season. It was great to
get six pro games under.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
My belt as well. See how how different it is
compared to junior hockey.
Speaker 6 (19:57):
Like here, it's uh, we're six in twenty years old,
and over there in San Diego and the HL, there's
there's guys who were providing for the family, There's guys
that have kids.
Speaker 5 (20:07):
So it's a totally different, I guess mindset and atmosphere.
Speaker 6 (20:11):
But yeah, just coming back to the OHL this year,
bringing that wisdom and doing whatever I can to help
the boys.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
And what can you take from that, Like you said,
kind of bringing back the wisdom, whether that be like
routine off the ice or on the ice, stuff from
your time in camp with an I'm playing in pre season,
or with your time with San Diego last year.
Speaker 6 (20:30):
Yeah, a lot of people get caught up into the
performance on the ice, but a lot of that performance
on the ice comes from what you do off the ice.
So that's that's prioritizing your your sleep schedule, prioritizing your
your eating, your your habits. So a big thing that's
also overlooked is stretching. That's a big part, especially for
for a long playoff run. You're playing the game every
(20:52):
other night. It's physical, sometimes seven games in a series,
and you guys are just beating the like beating each
other up.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
Right, So yeah, you just gotta gotta, yeah.
Speaker 6 (21:03):
Prioritize the stuff off the ice and your health ultimately
and your longevity to go the whole playoffs.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
I want to circle back here a little bit, circle
back to when you got traded this that night. I'll
never forget you play the next day. I just want
to tell before you get to the thing. But I
just gonna tell you a funny story. So you played
the next day against Ottawa.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
You came in. I don'll never forget.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Before you can answer it, tell me about that experience,
because it was crazy, and I forget. I was sitting
I was sitting inside the media room and this Outawa fella.
I don't know who he was, since Tim beside me.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
He goes, so you guys got cotta smid to you.
I said, yump. He goes, is he playing tonight? I
go yep, and he goes like this and he goes,
oh okay. Then he walks away.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Right, take care anyway, talk about that experience, Connor, because
you got traded the night before against the game against Ottawa.
That must have been crazy, jumping on a plane and
whatnot and throwing everything on and we'll talk about it.
Speaker 6 (22:04):
Yeah, it was a crazy experience this time because when
I was trade to one sound, I I knew something
might might be happening, but I didn't really know what
or when.
Speaker 5 (22:14):
But this time I had a pretty good idea.
Speaker 6 (22:16):
It was gonna be Brampton, and I was packed up
before before the break, just in case, and then came
back and it was just, uh, it was a few
different things, but yeah, so it finally went through and
I was I was excited, and the coaches and the
GM and coach obviously gave me a call and they go,
(22:39):
welcome to the team. We want you to play tomorrow.
I'm like, all right, I've been out for two and
a half months already. I've been chomping at the bit
to get back to it. So they're like, all right,
you're gonna be on a flight at eleven pm and
you're gonna fly into Ottawa.
Speaker 5 (22:52):
And it was it was awesome.
Speaker 6 (22:54):
They're they're very welcoming with open arms and get me
on that flight to get me their astap was was awesome.
Speaker 5 (23:01):
And then I was rooming with Steve.
Speaker 6 (23:03):
Leescovar that night, so it was a nice little real
nite and yeah, just yeah, yeah, he stayed up for me,
and he was suspended, so you didn't have to worry
about stayed up too late, but he welcomed me in.
We chatted for a little bit and then I finally
got to sleep. But yeah, it was just a great
experience overall.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
How has How was the rehab? I guess I should
say with the with the injury, of course, I mean
missing extended time. How do you kind of make sure
that you're staying ready throughout those those months off?
Speaker 6 (23:35):
Yeah, you know, it's tough, especially being that being the
captain one down as well. You can't lead the way
you want to lead because you're not in the room
during games and and whatnot. But I did my best
to still be that that leader in the room and
just help guys along, guide them whatever it was. And yeah,
I was just trying to better myself every day, no
(23:57):
matter how small it was. I'm a big believer in
getting one percent better each day. So whether it was
I would go on after practice and do a little
skate myself, or I'd actually go on with with one
stick in my left hand and then i'd have my
cast on and I was just pushing pucks around as
as a basically.
Speaker 5 (24:16):
A coach out there. So I was doing whatever I
could to still be around the boys, going out for
breakfast with them every day.
Speaker 6 (24:23):
So yeah, it was just it was obviously pretty long
recovery two and a half months, but I'm pretty pretty
sure I did or I did the best I could
to better myself, and uh yeah now it's now it's over.
Speaker 5 (24:36):
Which is which is nice, and back to playing.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
So yeah, Connor, did you ever think about playing basketball?
Speaker 5 (24:43):
I've asked this quite a bit. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (24:49):
Yeah, I'm pretty uncoordinated dribbling.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
I can't shoot the ball, so I know I got
the Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
I'll just give it to you. I said, look, just
post off and every teen just swam it.
Speaker 5 (25:01):
Hole and Everythingeah, just dunk it. Yeah, can you dunk?
Speaker 4 (25:03):
Can you dunk?
Speaker 5 (25:04):
I can? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (25:05):
I worked at it because I couldn't before, but I
was like, I'm six six, I should be able to dunk.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
So so not not basketball, But did you play any
other sports growing up?
Speaker 6 (25:15):
I played lacrosse when I was growing up, like around
like ten to fourteen, fifteen, nothing crazy, just like house league,
and then hockey took to like it was it was
more important obviously, and then played talking I was when
I was younger, I played up with my my brother
was two years older.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
And then yeah, just I.
Speaker 6 (25:37):
Was never really a baseball guy. Football always interested in me.
But obviously my mom was like, no, you're not playing
football too violent, So yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
You color board like me.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
You know, I'll tell you when I broke my collar
bone when I was playing football when I was in
high school, I broke my collar ball man, and I'll
never forget. And I was totally out of it. And
then my mom was the first one that came into
the emergency room. It's funny how you say that.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
She says, I told you.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Because it's d R whatever anyways, So that's kind of funny.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
So yeah, I mean it's just the way bombs. Sorry,
oh yeah, but the cross.
Speaker 5 (26:12):
Is okay, right, it doesn't make sense, but you know.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
What like talk about.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
It seems like you're really really starting to find your
own as well. Like on the ice with your rehab,
you're saying, you know, you were telling me before you start,
you're starting to get your legs back. So where are
you at right now? Are you about ninety five percent?
You're at ninety nine percent?
Speaker 3 (26:34):
Where you at?
Speaker 6 (26:36):
Yeah, the my injury won't be at one hundred percent
until they said it until like three months after. But
there's no way I can reinjure it basically other than
having the same thing happen again. So it's just working
through like the discomfort obviously, but legs wise and lungs wise,
I think I'm basically one hundred percent right now.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
Probably i'd say maybe ninety eight percent.
Speaker 6 (26:58):
But yeah, so no, everything's going very well and then
just yeah, wait until the thumb catches up.
Speaker 5 (27:05):
But yeah, what was it like a.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
Few games ago having to play against your old team.
That's got to be kind of funny, see in your
old teammates there from like two weeks ago out on
the ice against you.
Speaker 5 (27:15):
Yeah, no, it was. It was obviously a unique experience.
Speaker 6 (27:19):
Yeah, it was pretty cool, but obviously it would like
to come away with the two points.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
But we'll get him next time when we're inning once out,
all right.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
One of some of the things that Connor Smith likes
to do off the ice, we know he likes to
play saw while he played soccer and all that kind
of stuff.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
Do you do you know how to play cricket? Oh?
Speaker 5 (27:38):
No, I do not?
Speaker 3 (27:39):
Okay, do you know how to Are you a golfer? I?
Speaker 6 (27:42):
Actually I'm not the best because I had free clubs,
but I just got a brand new, brand new set
of clubs.
Speaker 5 (27:50):
So definitely gotta get lessons and work on my golf game,
that's for sure.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
What else do you like to do the off season?
Speaker 6 (27:57):
Yeah, my brothers actually used to be a profriend video gamer.
So he lived in in Vegas for a year playing
it's a game called Rainbow six Siege and then played
in a three million dollar tournament.
Speaker 5 (28:09):
In Vaga in Paris.
Speaker 6 (28:10):
Actually, and yeah, it's uh, it's crazy how it's two
two ends of the spectrum. One yeah, playing hockey, and
then one one is a video gamer.
Speaker 5 (28:19):
But so I played games with him in some of
my free time.
Speaker 6 (28:23):
And then I love hanging with the boys, and uh
yeah just doing whatever I can to hanging with guys,
and I like to be pretty social, so yeah, whatever
it is, I'll go hang out with the guys. And
then yeah, golf, Like I said, I definitely want to
get better at that.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
But uh yeah, what uh.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
What what games? What games are you playing with your brother?
Speaker 5 (28:44):
Uh? Anywhere from like called Call of Duty?
Speaker 6 (28:48):
Yeah, his game room was six Siege right now, just
start playing Minecraft again actually, but uh yeah, I know it's.
Speaker 5 (28:56):
A bunch of different games, so it's pretty wild.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
That's pretty wild, all right.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
So I want to know too, and I ask everybody this,
and we're gonna see if you pass the test. Hey,
maybe somebody already told you that I'm gonna ask you
this question, how do you like your sneak?
Speaker 5 (29:12):
Well, rare?
Speaker 4 (29:15):
I gotta go rare, like rare, no medium rare.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
Friends, then.
Speaker 4 (29:25):
I'm a I'm a medium. Well, guy, it's I'm gonna
insult you by saying that.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
Well, you said you like, I'm on the other side
of the spectrum.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
Man, that's pretty insulting to somebody who eats steak rare.
Speaker 6 (29:39):
To make you feel better. When I was younger, maybe
like four years ago, I used to be very paranoid
about any meat I hate.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
So my my chicken had.
Speaker 6 (29:48):
To be basically burnt, my my, Yeah, my steak had
to be well done. And then all right, I realized that, yeah,
I can start eating steak rare.
Speaker 5 (29:59):
And and also had like, have you ever had beef tartar?
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Yeah, I've never tried.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Okay, parra taurus sounds like it's Japanese or something.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (30:12):
I would only recommend having it at like a higher
end place, obviously because it's raw beef.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
But yeah, nice, nice, Well.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
Yeah, honestly, I think you're the first You're good. Yeah,
I think you're the first person to say straight rare.
So that's yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
This and my wife she likes it like that rare.
Oh okay, so it's kind of funny.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
Oh yeah, if I'm cooking a barbecue, boys, and she's
mine's first, and then whatever, Like my son, he's whatever
he takes off me, right, and then her. I got
to keep it on for another like fifteen twenty minutes
on each side, not fifteen twenty, but you know what
I mean, and she's got to look at it.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
It's got to be rare, rare, rare, everything rare. So
she's the same. So just to say, you guys, just
the comic.
Speaker 5 (30:54):
Now, what do you prefer, barbecue steak or pants?
Speaker 4 (30:58):
Dude, barbecue steak, great question. I'm gonna go barbecue too,
just because I I've eaten more barbecue.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Yeah, Connor, I'll you.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
Know what I will cook.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
I will cook a steak in the garage in the
winter time to make sure it's barbecue steak.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
That's just the way really not not too cold like this,
but yeah, that's just the way I go in the garage.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
Yeah, it's just like that's just my my whole kind
of thing, just relaxing like I'm cooking. You ever, seen
like Trailer Park Boys and Ricky always cooking. He's always focused, right,
So that's like me when I'm cooking a steak.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
Yeah, I gotta feeling he doesn't agree. I think he
think he's your guy.
Speaker 6 (31:34):
You gotta you gotta try, you gotta try pants here,
you gotta baste it in butter and then some garlics,
some rosemary sometime and it will change your opinion.
Speaker 5 (31:43):
I promise you.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
I believe you. I believe you. All right, so you
give me that recipe on the weekend?
Speaker 4 (31:47):
All right, Okay, I like that.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
Yeah, Brandon, this guy is in a machine.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Honestly, before we used to see him and like you know,
in the lineup and playing for Peterborough, it was oh
Connor Smith, Oh my, ha's got our number.
Speaker 3 (32:04):
An it's just the same.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
Sorry, go ahead, you're right, I guess. I think the
last thing we usually asked this question too, because I
think it's interesting. But do you have any like superstitions
pregame rituals that you got to do before you play?
Speaker 6 (32:18):
Oh I'm not a crazy superstitious guy.
Speaker 5 (32:23):
But just a nap, that's it. Just a good nap.
Speaker 4 (32:27):
That's a good one.
Speaker 5 (32:28):
Yeah, as long as they can, So, how.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
You liking this?
Speaker 2 (32:31):
How do you like in this defensive corps? You know
you're playing a lot with Parker Vaught Richter. Of course
that's a good guy to play with, right, Yeah, talk
about the defensive court because he said this reminds you
of your of the Peterborough team.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
So how does it remind you of the Peterborough team?
Speaker 5 (32:45):
Yeah, you know, the whole decourse is very strong and
very deep.
Speaker 6 (32:50):
Yeah, so like, uh, we don't have three over agers,
which you don't see too often, but it's the guys
who got a lot of experience in the league. And
and uh yeah PBR's uh he's you know, six, but
he plays like he's an overrager. Yeah, Fibiger and Finn
Harding both great players who got some more offense than
(33:11):
than maybe me and some of the other guys. But yeah,
so and then Rigi is just a very good shutdown guy,
brings the physical aspect and yeah, it's just uh, I
feel like I'm forget O Sova another guy, very very
good offensive defenseman are played great and all that. So yeah,
there's a there's skill talent everywhere, and everyone's got their
(33:35):
their own kind of toolbox. That that they they've mastered
and it's all it's everyone's abilities and skills they're gonna
bring together and uh yeah, bring us as far as
we can.
Speaker 5 (33:46):
And then I know I haven't seen him play, but
drags D I think it's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
I know he's a great defenseman as well.
Speaker 6 (33:55):
And yeah, just looking forward to to seeing him get
back in the lineup too.
Speaker 4 (34:01):
All right, Well, Connor, thank you, thanks so much for
coming on. It was nice to meet you. And uh,
you know, good luck the rest of this season.
Speaker 5 (34:08):
Yeah, thank you. I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
Hey, I really really appreciate you coming on, man, and look,
look I look forward to seeing you this weekend and
you know, get some wins and of course, and one thing,
one more thing I want to say. You know you
really feel this team has it's a championship pedigree. Was
that correct?
Speaker 5 (34:25):
Absolutely?
Speaker 3 (34:26):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
All right, thanks for joining us, Connor, and take care
of yourself.
Speaker 5 (34:30):
Thank you, get that. Thanks so much, Thank you. I
appreciate it. Thank you.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
All right. All right, that was Connor Smith, the big
rig six eighteen pounds defenseman of the Brampton steel Heads.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
We'll talk about the interview and more when we come
back right here at Troe Talk SLOGA I sixteen Yeah.
Speaker 7 (35:07):
Stream us live at SAGA nine to six am dot
c A.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
Welcome about to Chart Talk right here at Soadadin sixty ayah.
Or if you're watching on YouTube, your official podcast up
to Brampton Steelheads Mike Carey Felitis along with Brendon Lang,
both broadcasters of the Brampton Steelheads. Just thought on the
Big Rig Connor Smith. Uh, I'll just say one thing. Leader,
that's my impression of that interview right there.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
That's a great word to describe Connor Smith. I think
I really liked the story of how he got the
nickname big Rig. You know, sometimes it's sometimes it's a
long story. That one was just short right to the point.
Some Kyle well would of course actually called him that
one day and there it was. That was the name
that's stuck. And I mean we can see why when
(36:08):
you see him out there. He's not just big, but
he uses his size very effectively obviously plays with the
physical edge. So yeah, awesome, awesome guy to talk to you.
And you're right, I think leaders is a great word
to describe and you can tell obviously, like he said,
it's been less than two weeks and he's already one
of the better, one of the best leaders on this team.
So it's a huge, huge addition, and I think it's
(36:31):
been it's been great so far.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
Yeah, he's been.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
It's just a pro, just a pro right off the bat,
like the way he talks, the way he manages himself.
And this is a guy that's had games with the
San Diegel goals, he's played in the AHL already, like
a drafted pick of the Anaheim Ducks. He's just coming
back from an injury. You don't forget, but I'll tell
you something. He's just getting his legs now.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
He's on ninety eight percent, I'm telling you. And he
said it best. This defensive cores is really really good
if they.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
Can stay healthy, and he's going to be He's a
he's going to be a huge, huge leader back.
Speaker 4 (37:08):
There, one hundred percent. And I think I liked what
he said too, because there's so many different skill sets
on the back end as well, Like it's not you know,
the players aren't the same, like you have kind of
himself and Parker von Richter, who are great defensive guys. Yes,
they can produce a little bit of offense as well,
But they're kind of like the shutdown pair Fibiger and Harding,
(37:29):
same thing. They're a little bit of defense, but maybe
they got a little more on the offensive side. Then
you have Sova who is great in the in the
offensive aspect of the game. Leskovar brings the physicality like
Smith does, reed Gee. Another guy who brings a lot
of physicality Draguska when he's in the lineup, he's more
of a physical guy as well. So they have so
many different skill sets and I think that's the makings
(37:50):
of a great defensive cores when you don't all do
the same thing, when you kind of all compliment each
other and right and you're right. I think that's the
that's the way that this that this decourse built.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
Last thing, you know what, they're all six feet tall,
they're all over six feet they're yeah, big boys. They're
all big and they're ready to go. And you could
tell for a big, big run. I'm telling you the
second half. All right, Brennan, let's move on. Let's move
on to the next games for the Steelheads. And of
course these will be done by the time this is done.
But let's start off with the Barry Colts fifth time
(38:21):
this season. Thank goodness, we haven't seen them for a
long time because it seemed like we played them a
lot in the.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
Beginning of the season. But this is a team and
loaded up at the trade deadline.
Speaker 4 (38:32):
They sure did. I mean, right now, the season series
is at two and two. It's kind of the rubber
match here so far in this season series between the
two and you're right. I mean, they're a team that
absolutely loaded up at the deadline. Maybe got off to
a little bit of a slow start after the deadline,
but I would not expect that to continue. They're a
really strong team. They got a lot of players from
(38:53):
North Bay. Of course, Van Steins Will comes over, Wakeley
came over earlier on in the season, Romani as well.
Ramoni's well yeah, in that trade. So I mean they
have an older team, a really experienced team, and we
know they got a good goalie as well. So there's
a lot to like about this very team. And I
think it's going to be a great matchup between these
(39:13):
two teams, and a matchup that I think we could
see a little later on in the year, end of
the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
It's a possibility, folks. It's a possibility. I mean, these
two teams really really, when you think about it, are
evenly matched a lot a.
Speaker 3 (39:27):
Lot offensively, both can score. Defensively, both are good.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
I think the steel that's off the edge maybe defensively
in my opinion, maybe just a tad, actually more than
a tad.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
But I think they do goaltending.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
La Brand's goods good, pretty even Stevens. What a matchup
that's going to be on Thursday. Next game is on
Saturday night. It will be against the Flint Firebirds. What
a spirited affair it was the last time these two
teams met in Flint.
Speaker 3 (39:59):
It will be Yeah, it will be in Flint this time.
Second last meeting of the season between.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
These two teams, right Flint. You know, it's a tough
place to go and play. You gotta of course, you
got the border and everything. And you play the tropical
night though. That'll be interesting. You must be excited for that.
I know what, you love the tropics. Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 3 (40:19):
Maybe I'll come in my maybe I'll come on my
bathing sea.
Speaker 4 (40:26):
They probably encouraged that, and yeah, all right, here we go.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
What is this guy doing?
Speaker 2 (40:39):
Yeah, sulass, Oh my goodness, the people, who is this guy,
but yeah, I want to match up.
Speaker 4 (40:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (40:46):
First, from the first time those.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
These two teams met with that, the Steelheads came up
with a big winning overtime, but it was a physical
affair coach getting thrown out of the game.
Speaker 3 (40:55):
Paul flash BRIGHTN Wow.
Speaker 4 (40:59):
Yeah, it was. It was a physical game right from
the beginning. Like I mean, of course, we had Stevie
Leskovar getting suspended in that game, and and you you know,
it drew a crowd afterwards, So I think there's probably
gonna be some you know, some bad blood between these
between these two teams. I could see that definitely being
the case. Connor Klattenberg also getting getting suspended in that game,
(41:21):
so it's you know, it's gonna be it's gonna be
a physical affair. I would not expect anything different from
these two teams going into this one. I like the
Steelheas chances. Of course, it's tough, you know, going over
the border playing in Flint, It's always going to be difficult.
But you know, Flint has had a decent season. But
still if you're the steel Heads, I think these are
some of the games that you really really want to
start picking up. These two points in regularly.
Speaker 2 (41:43):
One thing I'll say about the Flint Fire, but I'm
really shocked didn't do anything at the trade deadline, really
really shocked, really shocked. I mean they gave away a guy,
yeahs Roski right to the uh he got traded. So,
I mean one of the best junk players got traded.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
They didn't. Really odd. I don't know. I find it's
kind of weird.
Speaker 4 (42:04):
Yeah, a little bit of a different deadline. You're right
there from Flint, so you know, we'll see how it
pans out for them for the for the rest of
the season. Right now, sitting in sixth place with forty
points in the Western Conference. Yeah, very good. Goaltending one
hundred percent. That's that's something the steel Its definitely are
going to have to watch out for in that game.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
Yeah, Nathan Day, admit to oiler draft pick. We're talking about,
all right, So let's tee it up there.
Speaker 2 (42:28):
This will be coming up at four pm right here
at SAGA ninety sixty am, and that will be the
winsor Spitfires, second and final meeting.
Speaker 3 (42:36):
Of the season between these two teams.
Speaker 2 (42:38):
The last time these two teams met, the Steelheads lost
this game in overtime. Do the Winsor Spitfires and that
was way way way back when in October. So what's changed, Brendan,
do you what do you think about this game?
Speaker 4 (42:52):
Yeah, I mean, I'll be honest, I can barely remember
that game against the Windsor spit Fires. It was so
long ago. Windsor, I mean a great team, like they're
one of the best teams in uh in the OHL
of course right now in second place, just a few
points behind the London Knights. So wins are also a
really difficult place to play, So it's a it'll be
(43:15):
it'll be a spirited about again. I think it's another
game that will bring a lot of physicality to teams
at trying to be at the top of their conference
at the end of it. I really like this, really
like this matchup. If I'm not mistaken, it was the
Spitfires winning the first game, right, seven to five. Yeah,
so they do have the the win in the in
(43:35):
the season series so far. It's just two games, correct,
this is the last time they'll be facing yeah, right,
so so yeah, it's again it's a team that you
don't see a lot, so maybe there's not as much
sort of rivalry there. But when you're fighting for physician,
there's always going to be some some rivalry involved in that.
And obviously, you know Connor Smith going back to his
hometown playing in Windsor. Of course we'll have some family
(43:55):
and friends out there. So a big one for the
steel Ed's. Yeah, that's a crazy number that I didn't know.
I don't even know that many people. I don't know
the game.
Speaker 3 (44:05):
I had like three hundred. My goodness.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
The Smith family. Well, I'll tell you, folks, do not
have a problem with the Smith family. You're gonna do
with ninety nine anyway.
Speaker 3 (44:13):
I was just kidding, But.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
Yeah, you know what, that's gonna be a great matchup
because the Windsor spit fires a lot of firepower up there,
Leon Green Tree and company the back of defense. Christophoro
is a good, good defenseman. He plays well.
Speaker 3 (44:26):
I like a j Spellacy up there up front. He's
a really nice player.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
They got a lot of good young and Ethan Belchiz
of course, the number one draft pick big too.
Speaker 3 (44:38):
Oh yeah, he just get better and better too. Right, So, yeah,
it's gonna be a tough matchup. But if you give now,
here's what the steel It's have to do to win.
Speaker 2 (44:46):
This game, they have to show obviously, shut down do
what they did against the Kitchen Rangers. Shut down the
neutral zone because they're gonna want to run and gun
with you. You don't want to run and gun with
the windsor spitfires. You're gonna be in deep trouble. Stop
their stop their offense, stop their speed, get the four
chick going, and I think the Steelers can be successful
(45:07):
getting on their defense. I think the goaltending. If you
talk about the goaltending, the goaltending goes to the Steelers
with Jack Ivan Covid, I think is the you know,
the nood goes to him more, even though Joy Costanzo
was a good goalie as well, but I'd give the
nod more to Jack Ivi Colt.
Speaker 3 (45:23):
So the defense and it has to be huge in
this game.
Speaker 4 (45:28):
Yeah, it does. I mean you just said if you
get into a run and gun style game, but then
it's going to be difficult. We saw that in the
first matchup seven to five winsor windsor takes to win.
So I mean, if you see something like that, it's
you're right. They just have so much firepower up front.
If they can slow down Green Tree obviously, really difficult
to do. But if they can slow him down and
(45:49):
then then you have to kind of like the chances more.
And like you said, through the neutral zone. I thought
even against Owen Sound for the majority of that game,
they did a great job through the neutral zone as well,
not really allowing either team that they saw this past
weekend get clean entries into the zone get set up.
So I think that has to do a lot with
the chemistry as well, just kind of knowing making sure
everybody's in the in the right place in the system.
(46:10):
And if they can do that, then I think that's
You're right. I think that's a big key to being
able to beat this this Winsor team.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
And the Discipline's see how the penalty box cases this
Winsor team.
Speaker 3 (46:20):
You've got to see out of the penalty box.
Speaker 2 (46:22):
You got to be disciplined, and then they could be
successful because you can get in the box against this
Windsor team, They'll make you pay.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
They will make you pay, all right.
Speaker 2 (46:32):
So uh, let's do a quick quick life tips here, Brendon,
you got anything?
Speaker 4 (46:39):
I just okay, I got any. I mean, let's hear yours.
Let's hear yours, all right?
Speaker 2 (46:42):
If you're driving, we used if you're driving slow, getting
the right lane. That's all I have to say. It's
good because yeah, well remember what happened to the game
against the Kitchener A massive traffic because of low people.
Speaker 3 (46:56):
That's that's, that's all.
Speaker 8 (46:58):
If you're driving ninety five ninety, get in the right lane,
don't stay in the middle or get in the far
left of them, and then the cos is traffic and
people are going all over the place, and the cause
is an accident.
Speaker 4 (47:08):
Don't Yeah, yeah, that one grinds on me as well.
I think I think you've actually mentioned that one on
here before.
Speaker 3 (47:14):
Oh okay, well I.
Speaker 4 (47:16):
Think I think possibly. I think possibly, But I think
that it's good to mention it twice because it needs
to be said out there. Yes, I completely agree with
you all now. And that's a that's that's the top
notch tip there.
Speaker 3 (47:29):
Mm hmmm. And road range.
Speaker 2 (47:33):
I got a problem with road rage sometimes, well the highway,
you know.
Speaker 3 (47:37):
So I'm like this, I've got my hands going all
over the air. We're like, man, I'm like going like this.
All right, So.
Speaker 2 (47:48):
