(01:59):

depending on your membership level, you may even score exclusive

really cool fun stuff over there now, and we have

(02:21):
even cooler stuff coming in the future. Okay. Now, I
see Lama's listening and getting ready for Karen Reid. Girl.
I cannot wait for that. Cannot wait for that now. Guys,
if you're watching on YouTube, please like and share this video, okay.

(02:41):
It really helps spread the word about the cases we cover.
Same thing with Facebook. Hit that little like button, give
us the thumbs up, share the video. It helps get
these cases out to more people. Okay. And if you're
listening on podcast apps, you can and like, download, and

(03:01):
leave a review. That makes a huge difference. I don't
understand algorithm math or algorithm gods, but it helps more
people discover our community and also helps get the word out. Now, guys,
I hope you're ready for today's cases because we got
some doozies. Okay, we got some doozies. Now, I shouldn't

(03:25):
say that, because they're always doozies. Right now. On the
summer day of July twenty ninth, twenty twenty three, forty
one year old Miranda the Law Vanish in Bruton, Alabama. Now.
She was known to friends and family for her strawberry
blonde hair that fell past her shoulders and guys striking

(03:50):
green eyes. I saw one picture, but it was all blurry.
But her eyes, they're just stunning. Now she has some
distinctive tattoos. She has a bird of Paradise stretched across
her back and a set of Chinese characters inked at
the nape of her neck. Now these personal details, they

(04:10):
used to be everyday markers of her individuality, now serve
as and identifying features in the efforts to bring her home. Hello, Kelly,
welcome in. Now. Miranda was originally from Summerdale, Alabama, but
in the days leading up to her disappearance, she had

(04:31):
been in Bruton. She was last known to be traveling
with a man named Terry McCullough. Now together, the two
were reportedly headed towards Awassa, Alabama. Somewhere along that route,
circumstances took a troubling turn. Okay. Account suggests that Miranda
and McCullough were stopped by an Alabama officer, but that

(04:55):
Mickela fled in the vehicle before crashing into gates of
the cemetery. He then fled from the vehicle. Now it's
been reported that Miranda had stayed in the car. Now
there are some confusing reports on whether Miranda's phone was
found in the car or if it was missing. All
we know is that after that day, Miranda has never

(05:18):
been seen again. Now, mister McCullough did have an outstanding warrant,
and that me explain why he fled. Okay, No warrants
for Miranda, nothing like that. But there are no clear
reasons for her to disappear willingly. Okay. The sudden break
in contact raised alarm among her loved ones. As the

(05:41):
hour stretched into days without word, concern deepened into a
fear that I hope none of us have to experience. Now.
Miranda's mother passed away around Christmas that year without knowing
where her daughter was. Guys can't help, but wonder did

(06:01):
heartbreak the stress of not knowing where your child is.
I cannot help, but not imagine that that contributed. Now,
this case left behind more questions and answers. What happened
after mister McCullough abandoned the vehicle? Where did Miranda go?

(06:22):
And why has there been no trace Since? Family members
and the community have called for answers, and they are
clinging to the hope that someone saw something, perhaps a
passer by on the road, a driver near Alassa, or
a resident who might recall an unusual encounter. As of today,

(06:44):
Miranda remains missing. Her family continues to seek information, urging
anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts to step forward. Now,
each poster, each social media share, in each conversation about
her case keeps her story alive. Guys, I've said it before,

(07:06):
and y'all'll probably go on here she goes again. People
don't just vanish off the face of the earth. Somebody
knows something, had to see something, has heard a rumor anything. Okay,
because Miranda Phil y'all is not just a name on
a missing person flyer. She's a daughter, a friend, and

(07:26):
a woman whose life matters now. Until answers are found,
her story will remain one of uncertainty, but also one
of unwavering hope that she will be located in return
to those who love her. Guys, if you would please

(07:49):
head over to our Midday Missing Facebook page share that
missing person flyer with the hashtag Miranda Phil y'all. Let's
get this out there. Let's not let her name be forgotten. Okay. Now,
if you know of or you have a loved one

(08:10):
missing and you're interested, in having their story featured on
an upcoming episode of Midday Missing, or if you want
to join us for a live interview, please contact Amy,
our assistant producer, by emailing Amy at tcwtmedia dot com
or can email me Terry at tcwtmedia dot com. Or guys,

(08:35):
you can send us a DM on our Facebook page. Okay,
believe it or not, we do get those and we
do respond. Now my nose is running, guys, my allergies
are on fire today. Now next, we're going to talk
about a case that has haunted the city of Homewood,
Alabama for sixteen years. Nadia Kersh was born in Russia

(08:59):
on Ul eighteenth, nineteen eighty five. She spent the first
few years of her life in an orphanage before she
was adopted and moved to the US. On November three,
two thousand and eight, Nadia was last seen leaving her
job at the Tria Market around one pm, telling her
coworker she was headed to pick up her one year

(09:20):
old son. When Nadia failed to pick up her son
from daycare, family became instantly concerned and reported Nadia missing.
Great job, family, I you know, no shame to families,
but that's amazing. That you pulled that trigger quickly. Now.
The next day, on November fourth, two thousand and eight,

(09:44):
police located Nadia's car abandoned in Birmingham. Police were able
to confirm Nadia leaving her job on the third and
getting into her call, all which was seen on video cameras. Sadly,
that is the last sighting of Nadia. Nadia has been

(10:05):
described as small and delicate at about five foot three,
weigh one hundred and ten pounds, with long brown hair
and stunning blue eyes. Now, she was known to be
a quiet person who was balancing work and mom, wife. Guys,
look at the smile on her face. To me, she
just looks like such a happy person. Now, three days

(10:29):
after Nadia's last known sighting, her purse was found beneath
the railroad overpassed with all of her belongings except her
car keys. This ramped up police's belief that there was
foul play involved. Same same police, We're on the same page.
Police search for Nadia using canines in search groups, but

(10:52):
she has not been found. In May of twenty ten,
the disappearance of Nadia took a while turn when police
arrested and charged Nadia's ex boyfriend Jacquith Haywood, with the
capital murder of Nadia. Now, Heywood spent fifteen months in jail,

(11:14):
but was released after the judge dismissed the charges. Now,
the judge dismissed these charges because the prosecutor asked for
a postponement, and guys, this judge wasn't having it. He said,
you should have all of your ducks in a row
before arresting anyone and charging him. Which I get what

(11:36):
you're saying, judge. Now, the judge did leave it open
that Heywood can be charged again. Now, I could not
find anything about what evidence they had and why they
arrested him. Okay, I've put in a request for information
a foya. If I get that, I will share it

(11:57):
with you guys, because I was very interested in knowing
what the prosecution had. Sadly, as of today, Nadia has
not been found, charges have not been put against anyone again,
and her family is left wondering where their sweet Nadia
is at. Guys, Let's not forget she left behind a

(12:19):
one year old son one years old. On the website
helped find Nadia dot com. Nadia's mother has posted several
times since her daughter's disappearance, and let me tell you,
I ugly cried while reading some of her posts now.
In the post, her mom, Nancy gives updates on the investigation,

(12:44):
birthday wishes to Nadia, and talks about how Nadia's son, Christopher,
was taken away from them and that they have not
seen him since Nadia went missing. All I gathered is
at Jefferson County Family Court gave the city of Christopher
to someone else based off the post. In November twenty fourteen,

(13:06):
the family was awarded unlimited visitation. However, they chose to
stay away from him due to their family being threatened now.
It then goes on to say that Christopher will have
a new legal family soon, which I just say that
meant he's being adopted. And she then goes on to

(13:27):
say that they were denied the ability to legally adopt him,
which I find crazy but made me wonder is it
because they had adopted Nadia and therefore it didn't met
her son didn't qualify as a biological grandchild. I don't

(13:48):
know if anybody knows about that. I would love to know,
you know. Oh, thank you on top for that super sticker.
Guys in chat, please let me know if you know,
if maybe that's why that an adopted parent whose child

(14:12):
goes missing, why you can't adopt the grandchild, I would think.
I mean, he was one years old, he knew them. Okay,
I don't get it. So the last post on the
page is a letter from Nancy to Nadia's son, and

(14:34):
let me tell you, it's heartbreaking and sweet at the
same time. I was going to read it to you guys,
and I decided I couldn't. I couldn't read it without
ugly crying, and I didn't figure I should be on
camera again with tears and snot running down my face.
But please go over to the website Help Find Nadia

(14:59):
dot Com read it. Please drop the comments under the
video about your thoughts on it. So Lama says that
shouldn't be an issue. I think the same thing, Wama
and so I, and that I just need to know more.
I just need to know more. Okay. Now, As of today,

(15:21):
Nadia Kersh is still missing and is classified as an
endangered missing person, and her family continues to fight for
answer home would police Department ask if you have any
information about Nadia's disappearance to please call them at two
five three three two six' two three. Seven nadia's family

(15:44):
deserves to know what happened to their left one and her,
son even though he's been adopted to, serve to have
his mother found and to know that she did not
leave him on her, Own she did not abandon. Him
so please go to Our facebook page at mid day
missing once again share her missing post or. Fire. Guys

(16:09):
she had a hard start to. Life she grew up
in an, orphanage she got, adopted come to THE, us
and then for this to, happen it hurts my heart
in so many, places so many. Places, now, guys the
weather is finally starting to cool, off or it's starting

(16:34):
to cool off in the, evenings because today we're going
to be one hundred In, austin but we are cooling
off in the. Evening SO i thought this would be
a perfect time for some after dark tips because we
all know heading out after dark can be a lot of,
fun whether it's dinner with, friends a, concert or a
late night errand, however safety should always come. First so

(16:59):
here are some aren't ways to protect. Yourself use the buddy,
system there are safety in. Numbers. Okay, also do not
go running at night by. Yourself don't do. It first of,
all not gonna shame you, runners but why are you? Running? Why, Okay,
now let someone know where you're going and when do

(17:21):

okay stick to well, lit populated areas and void shortcuts
through alleys or empty. Lots, GUYS i have to tell

told me to. Go, NOW i, think what the hell
WAS i? Thinking somebody could have taken Me, now they
probably would have brought me. Back but don't do it.

(18:05):
Now stay, alert keep your head up and your phone
tucked away when you're. Walking, okay the whole walking like
this not a great, idea especially in the. Evenings, also
make sure you know how to walk in those high, heels,
okay especially after you've had a few glasses of wine or.
Guys take a pair of flats to. Wear they have

(18:26):
the kind that can roll up and fit in your.
Purse this is one of the reasons that me and
my old girlfriend a. Farmer we used to get on
the treadmill and we would run in our stilettos because
we were determined we were not going to have anybody
catch us because we couldn't. Run, also if you're going

(18:47):
out to, bars once, again watch your drink at all. Times.
Okay they will slip something in your drink hoping that
when you go to leave they can snatch. You, Okay
so we don't want. That so, guys, also just know your.
Limits over indulgence makes you more, vulnerable even if you're
