was so scared that I was already going through this ship.
Is that I never even looked at him. I was
just trying to make sure I got the funk out
of here.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Like I never looked that way. I just heard him like, bro,
I'm shooting. I'm a shooting. Never seen his gun, never
see nothing. I never saw the like the muscle flash. Nothing,
I never seen nothing.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
And then as I'm going more down the street, cause
it's like when you go when you go to street,
it's like a like a U turn, you know, like
a like a quarter sack. So I went, I thought
we got in the car. I picked her up from
her being passed down her fantas.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Where did you pick her up?

Speaker 3 (01:08):
At?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Right here? Right there? Right here? I picked her up.
I dragged in the car. I proceed to go like
this and turn around when I proceeded to play hold on?

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Was this the time when she walked in front of
the car and the Okay, but what I'm talking about is,
did you guys eventually both get in the car at
one point?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah? But that the only time she got in the
car both of us is after I dragged her in
the car. I didn't. I didn't know if she didn't
do it, like honestly, honestly, I didn't. I thought she
was dead. I thought she was dead. I didn't know.
You put your hands down. Okay. If I'm asking a
lot of questions some time, I want to show you
I got respect.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Okay, okay, having your right to mind, you want to
talk to me, talk to us about what happened out there.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yeah, I'm gonna be a hunter. I'm not. People could
call it whatever I want to call it. I don't
even care at this point. Okay, so tell us what happened. Okay, listen,
sure this is the one hundred and ten percent truth. Okay.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
February or August twenty sixth yesterday, Okay, was my girlfriend's birthday,
twenty third birthday. I really was just catering to her.
Took her to the Mall Boy her birthday out it
and I took her to Nova Hosts Bellevue, the Brazilian steakhouse.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Oh yeah, yeah, I think I've been there. Yeah, that
took I took her there. So at that point we
we only we hadn't really.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Drink like that cause I don't do drink and driving.
My dad's alcoholic, you know, any kind of fucked up
my family with alcohol, So I don't really like alcohol
like that. So I was drinking a little bit. Where
is this at an appo? At the steakhouts? Okay, So
we had a good time. I had videos on my
phone wherever my phone is. Had good time.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
You know, she dressed up.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Whatever we leave, we end up. She while we're while
we're about to leave, her mom calls her and she's like,
you know, you guys wanna come to the house. You know,
what's your birthday? I wanna see you. So they go
see her at her mom's house. We go over to
her mom's house. We're taking shots. Everybody's having a good time. Literally,
it's no weird, nothing, no nothing.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
W where's her mom? Where's her mom?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Probably lives about five minutes or wherever. You guys arrested
me from brother. I got arrested from that just right
around the corner. Yeah, tall uh, we go there. I
leave cause I had to go to my brother's house.
He lives right down the street. I had to go
to my brother's house to drop him off a shirt
cause he needs a white T shirt.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
You know. This was what I got in my trunk.
So I dropped him off on him. Then I came
back and my.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Girlfriends like, I wanna go back to my mom's house.
You know, they're trying to get this. They're trying to
get me a bottle for my birthday. They're trying to
drinkle me. Is her mom, her her stet dad, her brother,
her nieces or nephews, you know, And she's like, are
you sure you wanna go back there? I wish I
would have said no, but I was like, you know,
it's your birthday, bab. What doll look like telling you
you can't kick it with your family?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
White? Yeah, she didn't.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
She just asked me because she was like, you know,
do you are sure you wanna go to my family's
house or you should have something you want to do?
You know, because I took around, so I guess she
was like trying to show me respect, to make sure
that it was something that we would both enjoy.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
But I was like, no, that's fine. You know, you
can go to your family shouse whatever. I'm not gonna
ever get in away. You spend time with your family.
I'm very family on.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Your chair myself. So that happens, to be honest with you,
her family is Hispanic. They drink a lot of tequila.
They drink a lot.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Do you feel me when it's turned up time? So
I'm just hanging with them. I'm feeling it.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Because her family's lacking me or laughing at my jokes,
base blah, I end up getting drunk.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
No, I kid you not.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
I don't really drink my dad's alcoholic. I'm not even
trying to give you like bullshit details. But it's just
details right. My dad's alcoholic. That nigga fucked up my
whole family with alcohol shit, So I don't really mess
your alcohol like that. So I'm g can consider me
a light weight, you know. So we're drinking. I don't
know where I passed out at. I don't know where
I'm sleep at, but I know it was in that

(04:52):
household and herself. So I wake up, and when I
wake up, it's like everybody's arguing. I don't know how
long I was sleep for. I don't know nothing, but
I was sleep I woke up.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Her brother was like, no, fuck that, this is dead
blah blah blah, beefing with her mom.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
You know, he had got into a fight with her
mom's stead, with her mom's boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
All the shit they fly, all the shit.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
I'm sleeped all the time I'm waking up. I'm trying
to tell him, like, bro, calm down.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
We had a good time. You know, I'm still kind
of drunk. I woke up, you know what.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I'm trying to him, like, we have a good time, bro,
there's no need to carry that on until say that
you don't work right.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
My girlfriend pulls it.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
She's like, come on, get in the car getting the car.
She's trying to pull off, and I'm like, I'm trying
to talk to your brother. I'm trying to make sure
he's good. I'm trying to make because at the same
time his brother had all his daughters and it's saying it,
you know, So I'm like, you know, are you good, bro?

Speaker 2 (05:41):
You need something? You know.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
I'm trying to tell him, like, don't stress or that shit.
Females ain't gonna really understand where we're coming from. At
this point, I didn't even know what they were arguing from.
I'm just really trying to just don't shot out there.
You feel me to try to help him out and
calm him down. So I get him to calm down,
He's like, oh, yeah, my sister's about to come back.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Can come and get you?

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Mind you I never asked for her to come back
and get me. Who said that, Gabe, that's her brother.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Gabe asked or Gabe told you that he was. He
was like, he was like, she's coming.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Back to get you because she left. And that's when
like when she was like I'm leaving you, she left
pulled off rather or all ship left me actually left?

Speaker 2 (06:19):
When you when she said, hey, Kate, come get the
car out of here, because I had just woke up.
But that was all arguing.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
But me, we was having a good ass time. So
I'm trying to figure out, Like, if you was to
wake up and people arguing, you're gonna try to figure
out why anybody arguing.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
So I'm like, what's her name? Who? Your girlfriend? Your girlfriend? Who? Lordes?
Keep moming l U l R d E s and
then keep on the k E Y m A l
d e N m O l e N. Yeah that's
her last name. Yeah, keep on. So I wake up.
I'm trying to talk to her better. I'm like, know

(06:54):
what's going on.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
He really didn't give me too much details. He was
just like, you know, I got into it with my
mom's boyfriend. We fight da DH the day. He's telling
me your story and I'm like, damn, Like how to
fuck go on?

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Shepp. I just feel asleep. I feel like, you know.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
So we're talking, then he out of nowhere. He's like, yeah,
my sister's don't know, ready to come back and get you.
I'm like, okay, that's fine. I don't want to go
to sleep anyway. You know, I'm a lightweight, so I
want to go anyway.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
So she comes backs and gets me. She's she's like
beef and had an attitude from the jump like you
feel me. Like before she left, she's like, come to
fuck on, come to fuck on, I'm about to fucking leave.
Da dah blah blah blah blah blah and all this
other shit. I'm just like, if you want to leave,
leave like, I'm trying to make sure your brother's good,
because at the end of the day, if I'm with
you as your boyfriend or whatever, I want to take
you serious nigga that comes to parties to be messing

(07:38):
with your family.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Make sure your feeling's okay. Now, just you.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
We'll watch you being your brother there or not. So
she comes back and gets me. We're driving, minds you.
Her mom only lives a good ten minutes away from Rios,
Me and my girlfriends house who live together, and my mom,
my biological mom, she says, baggage. She gets back tonight
at eleven o'clock. We all live right there next to
each other. That's why I moved the camp, I'm saying,
so we're all right there.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Whatever my mom need helped.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
With Icky yell with so I don't really I can't
really tell you how the argument started with.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
I'm like, you know, what are you mad for? What
you beefing for? You know? And she's just like, you
don't get it.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Da da da, my brother was fighting, my mom's my
mom's boyfriend, and da da da da.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
I'm like, okay, what's that is this at the house?
This right in the car. So you guys got in
the car from the house there. Yeah, so from her
mom'l what time was that about? I really don't know.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I can't even tell you what time cause I don't
want to make it seem like I'm lying.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Okay, I really don't know. You guys were in the car.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yeah, Like I really passed out and I woke up
in like five minutes into me being awake again, I'm
in the car already on the way.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
So she already left and then came back.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
She left me, She left me, told me she was
leaving me. Was like, I'm out of here, blah blah blah.
The dad you want to talk to my brother? Fuck
you going out of here by hit the gas all
the way. She's burning rubber, pulling off on me type shit.
I didn't call her, I didn't touch her. I did nothing.
I didn't give her no time. You want to act
like that, That's why you act like that. And this

(09:03):
is exactly why this reason right here is exactly why
I let her do her so I wouldn't be in
the situation. So she ends up leaving. Her brother's like, oh, yes,
she's coming back. After we're sitting here talking.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
He's like, yeah, my stepdad be fucked up.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
We just flopped da blah blah blah. I'm like, damn,
how do all this shit happen? I was like, I'll
sleep that long. He he was like, bro, I don't know.
It just happened, you know. And I was like damn.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
And then Adam Norro he was like, yeah, my sin's
won't ready to come back and gets you.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
But we heard the car coming, like you could hear it,
you know, if it's like a truck, you know, truck's
got to have room sound so.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
You can hear it, you know. And he was like, car,
what kind of truck? It was not that I was in.
But she was like she, I have a I have
a two thousand and one Pontiac Grand Pretty GTP.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
It's super charge so you can hear it when it's coming,
like he's ending like a powerful engine, you know.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
And he was like, I think that's your sister right here.
I think that's what right now. You can tell she's
coming back from you right now. And then I was
like coming back?

Speaker 1 (09:57):
He was like, yes, I'm pretty sure she's on her way.
Or behold five minutes, Slevin, she's right there inside. And
I'm like, he's like, come on, bro, you know your
tires to just go with her whatever.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
So I go with her. We get to the corner
like a probably like three minutes lest from my house,
and the argument gets heated cause I'm like, what do
you beef for? What did you leave me for? You know?
What did I do? I'm sleep, so I really don't
know what I did. But I'm like, so when she
came to pick you up with who was dragging when

(10:28):
you guys left, Didy? She was? And then you were?
And where were you at? And I was in the
pastrong seat five passenger? Okay, was there anyone else in
the car? Mm? Just you two say? Until you guys
are arguing as you left?

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Yeah, we wasn't even really arguing why you cause I
didn't really say too much, you know, getting here, and
then I'm asking her questions, trying to have conversations like
you know, I'm really like before I got arrested, when
I even got arrested, brought here.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
I probably was awake for a hour being here. I
literally was not awake at all of I did not
know what the fuck was going on, you know what,
there was arguing about nothing, you know what I'm saying.
All I know is that after went to dinner, she
wanted to go to her mom's house.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
That's where we went.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
We were junkers house or whatever. That's why I'm getting heated,
Like around when we started hitting two fortieth around Taco Bill, KNT.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Two fortieth and what road were you on?

Speaker 1 (11:16):
But you know, you know kid fortieth and ki't and
it's you know, the Taco Bill and the auto zone.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Okay, you know what I'm talking about, the intersection there
like two fortieth and one oh four.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Yeah, we're over there, so at that area, not just
one of the conversations start to get heated because I
couldn't even really remember the conversation before that, you know,
so the conversations start getting heated. You know, I'm like,
what did you leave me for?

Speaker 2 (11:38):
What are you beefing for?

Speaker 1 (11:39):
You know?

Speaker 2 (11:40):
She's just really going ham like. She's like, she's like, oh, nigga,
you left you. You didn't listen to me. I was
telling you, come to fuck on. You're worth your mama. Brother.
You're not even worried about your own girlfriend. I'm like,
it's not even like that, bro.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
You want me to be your boyfriend, you want to
get married and all this other shit. You have to realize, nigga,
if I'm fucking with you, I have to fuck with
your family too. The same respect for you. If you're
down and down and crying, I need to have that
same respect for your family, just like I always expect
her to half her month. So that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
I'm not being out landed something, not being nothing in.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Right, and now I'm gonna tell you to complete you
for everything that happened. So she she gets mad off
of what I said. I'm like, you know, whatever, bit
you're tripping. I caught her a bitch, and I'm like whatever.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
She gets yeah, yeah, you.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Know, but she was already mad. So me saying bitch,
this many works, you know. I'm like whatever, But you're tripping,
you know. But I didn't say it like bitch, you
tripping the day. I just like, whatever it is, you're tripping,
you know. And from then she pulls over, stops, stops
on the side road, get out, starts walking.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Where did she pull over at? She pulls over?

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Okay, so there's two forty. I fl like redlis right,
you're talking about it right here? You pass you you
passed that light, and then it's like another light that
you come across and you can take the right, right
to left and it's like apartments on the right, and
it's like a brown building, you know what I So.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Let's let's so this is the intersection of let's you
say this is so the taco bell is. So let's
just say this is.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Northbound, so this is one o fourth and this is
two fortieth. Say the Fred Myers there, Fred Meyer is there, right,
And where's.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
The taco bell?

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Is right across the street from Fred March the taco
taco bell is, Taco is right, there's a taco bell
over here, and there's a Mexican relevant or there's a
seven eleven.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
You're right, you're right. The taco bell is right here.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Then across that street is to strip More and then
across that street is the Taco Bell.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
So here the right here eleven and then Taco Bell. Yeah,
this is Taco Bell. This is seven eleven. You got
a perfect get which way where you gave? Which road
were you on?

Speaker 1 (13:46):
I'm coming from this way because I'm coming from renting okay,
Fairwood Okay, and I go, I'm coming up this road. Okay,
we get to like, I want to say that my
turn to go to my house is probably like this
far away.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
And what turn is at? What road? Yeah, I don't know.
I don't even know, but I just you know, I
know from driving.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Yeah, so the turns right here. She probably stops the
route right here, right before the turn. Yeah, okay, she stops,
She gets out the car.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
She just starts walking.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
She gets it her blanket, wraps herself from her blanket, like,
you know, fuck it, I'm walking.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
I'm like, what are you doing? You know? She has
my call.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
I thought she had my car keys, So I'm like, bro,
give me my keys. If you're gonna walk away, give
you my keys. My co The house is right here,
So I'm gonna just park and go to sleep anywhere
I'm heilly tired. That's so I'm like, bro, I'm yelling
at her, like not even aggressive, but I'm like yelling
so she could hear me, like, where are my keys?

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Where are my keys? Give me my keys so I
can start the car. You took my keys.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
She's not turning around, she's not saying shit. So I
look around the car. I see that there's a key
on the floor, so I'm okay, she left the key.
That's why she wasn't turned around. But she had like
through the key, I guess, you know. So I grab
the keys, start the car. I pull up next to her.
I'm like, bro, what is the problem? Because it's Hella?

Speaker 2 (15:00):
And what road where you on them? It's the same road,
it's the same road. She hadn't turned yet.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
No, I hadn't it turned out here did nothing like Sara,
I promise you. I probably went like about ten feet far.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Off the car. What side of the road was she
walking on? Right side? Okay? So she she I pull up.
I'm like, what do you beefing for? She's not saying shit.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Then she just like I don't know where she just
started going him like you know, she was like fucking
I'm like to go hand like him, you gotta fucked up?

Speaker 2 (15:26):
What do you mean?

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Like she was like like she was like leave me
the fuck on, you dumb ass, bitch, ass nigga and
blah blah blah and all this other shits. You know.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
So then I like left for alone. You know, minute
turned into like it's kind of fucked up.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Had disadvantage that I was alcohol in my sister, you know,
so I can't really you know, but what I'm telling
you is that I got out the car.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
She ended up getting in a car. I got out,
I ended up getting in the car again. But I
was trying to.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Pull off this time because I'm like, okay, I'm trying
to be I'm trying to be like the espect situation.
I see that she just wants to argue.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Okay, so let me start. So you got out the
car when you were driving, and then she was on
the side of your road. Yeah, you got out. I
got out right here and right here there was a
corner and you said she got in.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Yeah she I don't know if she got in, but
I know the me and her start interacting again with conversation,
you know what I'm saying, and I'm just like, Okay,
I'm in my apartm gonna get the fuck out of here.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Per. You know, I'm not trying to leave you as
hell away that night. You know that's been going on.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
So I'm not trying to leave you like this period.
You know, my cousin just got got killed at Walmart.
The boy that got killed out Walmart, that was my
blood cousin. I was my little cousin. So I just
be thinking like, you know, I'm not gonna let you out.
I'm not just gonna leave you out on side. You know,
if i'm your boyfriend and your mom, trust me, I'm
bused to be her for you, So didn't let I'm
telling her, come back to the car, Come back in
the car.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Start going back and forth, start going back and forth.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
She starts making on these stress like you know, I'm
gonna do this and this, I'm gonna do that, I'm
gonna do this, i gona do that, but I'm not.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Even really paying no attention to it. Just sit in
the car then, so you're still outside, got it, alady,
Get in the car.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
So she's making all these studs going on time out here,
you know, I'm not gonna see her argue with you.
My house is right across the street. I want to
go home and go to sleep. That's when I didn't
sell all that. But that's backs where they like, you know,
fuck it, and she lives there with him.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Yeah, she lives there with me. So I get in
the car. When I get in the car, does she
get in? I know, I'm trying to skirt the fuck
off before she gets in the car, because you know.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
How girls are in high school around the age they
argue with you and like leave, leave, leave, and then
as soon as you actually start to leave, oh, come on,
don't leave me or you know, they want.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
To hop in the car. They want to call you
and like I'm sorry, shit, you know, so that shit happened.
But she's trying to hop in the car, you know.
But I'm just trying to hurry up and pull off
so when I hurt.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
But I'm ready about myself because I already have a
case that I'm on pro base for her right now.
You know what I'm saying, it is DV shit and
I didn't even do it, you know, so I don't
even get all that. Man, You know, I'm just like, now,
I'm not trying to get that charge again, you know,
because IM gonna go to jail.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Period. There's not no lay around it. So I get
in the car.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
I'm trying to skirt off. She hops in front of
the car. The car hears her right, a random person.
I don't know where the fuck they came from.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
I don't know where. I really don't know. Even when
they came in the picture. They come around, they're like, oh,
you cuted her, You culled her. Da da, Dad, You're
probably culled her. Don't run, don't run.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
But mind you the person that's saying that or whatever
with this whatever, they have a gun and they let
off multiple shots, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
So I'm like, I didn't want to leave her. When
she out in front of car, I felt bad. I
didn't want to leave her.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
ILL love her, that's my girlfriend. So I get off
the car. I'm trying to pick her up to take
her in the car so I could take her to
the hospital. You know.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
The dude's like, don't fucking touch her, don't fucking touch her.
I didn't look at him one time.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
All I was worried about his heart, So I couldn't
even tell you what the dude looked like. But all
I'm saying is that I know he had it going
out because she was like, I'll fucking shoot you. I'll
fucking shoot you.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Da da da dad. And I'm really not saying nothing
to him. I'm the only thing I said.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
At Timmis Bard and I didn't try to hit her.
She's trying to stop me. She got the front of
the car. You know, he goes, don't grab her, don't
pull off from car to police. I'm trying to grab
her to get to the hospital. You know, I'm grabbing her.
While I'm grabbing her, he lets off a good two
shots boom boom, like a wonder shot. I got shot
on my shoulder in December. I have this car right here,
So that's like, you know, gunshots just don't sit well

(19:19):
with me, you know what I'm saying. So he starts shooting.
It makes me more of an a rush, like, oh yeah,
I'm not to get her to fucking the car. So
I grab her, pick her up, put her in the car.
At this point, it's like she's like a dead body
just way, you know, a dead way. So I throw
in the car we're pulling off. When we pull off
or going straight because we have to turn around to
turn back out of the neighborhood, you know. So I

(19:40):
go straight and then he lets off a good five shots.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
And what she did? She did you pick her up
and put her in the car. I picked her. I
picked her up by myself and put her in the car.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
It would the effect of world. I'm setting a rest shirt.
I didn't even get to close the passenger side. Do
it work because I'm trying not to get shot, you
know what I'm saying, because you know, he it was
like I'm threatening her, so he I guess he do
have the right in his head to kill me, you
know what I'm saying. So I'm just trying to hurry
up get her in the car. I get her in
the car, try to close the door. Her feet is
like this, like weird, you know, just hella weird, like

(20:11):
outside of the car. Yeah, Like it's like it's like
towards the door, you know, And I try to close it,
but her foisticking out so it didn't close.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
But I'm like, fucking, I'm not trying to get shot.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
So I just pull off, you know. And when I
pull off, he just starts shooting. I don't know if
he was shooting at me. I don't know if he
was shooting or whatever. I never looked at him. I
was just trying to hurry up and focus on me
and my situation, you know. And when we get to
that situation, uh he you know, he keeps on saying like, oh,
you killed her, you kill her. I'm calling the police.
I'm calling the police, and I'm like, damn, the police's

(20:39):
gonna show up. I'm big, I'm black, I have tattoos
on my face. Like I just look like a woman beater.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
You know, I fit the profile, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
So I'm I'm already scared off tops like, damn, you know,
it's just a fucked up situation for me. So we
end up after I picked trap, when we drive off
from the dude leaving, we don't even end up on
across the street because literally my apartments.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Was across the street from where the dude was.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
Instead of us going across the street, I take the
left and I go back out on the road that
with the road that he was originally on.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Okay, okay, saw what on that road? What direction did
you turn, did you go back?

Speaker 1 (21:17):
When I went back towards reason and I took the left.
So because of my car, it was at the church.
That's where that's where the police caught me.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
On at the church. I poured over to the church.
I'm really sitting her in the car. What the fuck
is wrong with you? Wake up? Wake up? What's wrong?
What's wrong? What that? What that? What up? If she
has any bruisers on her face? Whatever?

Speaker 1 (21:36):
I onto all that because when she was passed out,
I thought she died, Like I really thought I killed her,
you know, and that wasn't what I was trying to do.
She hopped in front of the car trying to be
on some this extra shit, you know.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
So I get off the car. I'm like, dude, what up?
Wake up?

Speaker 1 (21:49):
The police is coming first, the police coming there first.
Come on, wake up, wake up. She's really like a
dead body, bro, Like she's really sitting her not moving,
like to the point where I opened her eyes and
I'm digging in her eyes, waked up, waked up. I'm
slapping the ship out of her, bro to the point
where I thought she was dead, all keeping her herd.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
I'll socked in her face, wiped up, wiped up. I'm scared.
I don't want her to be dead. You feel me,
I may not like you at the moment. I want
you to die.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
You know how wives did you sock her? I only
talk her one time, one time, but slapping her. I've
probably slapped her like a good ten times, trying to
wake her ass up.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
I'll give it to her with you. I was just
I was worried.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
I didn't want her to dinatic, so I was slapping
the ship out of her ass, just trying to wake.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Her up, wake her up, wake her up. She never
woke up. So I'm like, damn, she died. You know.
That's what my That's where my mind was at. So
let's let's go back to So let's kind of make
a a little a different map here. So this is
gonna be one o four. What's what's your address?

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Me?

Speaker 2 (22:47):
I don't even know.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
I know just she is a Regigate apartment, Regigate apartment
that Ridge Gate are there on A eight, They're like
right there, they're right there by two forty. I don't
know they actually, I don't want to make it. Yeah, yeah, okay,
so I'm sure I don't know if it's two forty exactly,
but I know it's around too forty, we know, we
know it is.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Yeah, So.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
So this is gonna be a different map. So this
is gonna be two fortieth again, and this is gonna
be one o fourth.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
So then and then it goes like this.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
So then there's another road that's two forty fourth, and
then it continues on and then two forty eighth rade
here yeah, so and the ridge came yea yeah, okay,
So now at what point did you get out or
what point did she stop and get out?

Speaker 2 (23:40):
Where was that at? Draw draw picture of the car,
where the car was? Where exactly did she even pull over?

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Right, she's going to pull over, she's but she didn't
really pull over. She stopped in the second line of
the street.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
You know. It's telling nobody was out there. Tell early
in the morning. Okay, so she was still on the road, yeah, okay,
and the two way road, and she's on this side
of the road, okay.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
And which way did she walk when she got start?
She walks from this side and she walked onto the
on the sidewalk, you know. But I pulled up, I'm
probably like a little bit further back, and I pull
up I'm like, you know, I'm getting the car, and
that's when I get I'll get out the crumb, like,
come on, come on, And where.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Did you stop at that time? Probably only a little
bit right, didn't the car was you know, to right before?
And I'm sitting here.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
I'm sitting right here probably for like two three minutes,
trying to look for the keys. I thought she got
the keys. I'm like, I'm like, can you at least
tell me the keys?

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Can at least tell me the keys, And she's just
not listening. So did she turned your car off and
put the key on the floor And I don't know
what she did. I just know that she was driving
the car, wasn't in the ignition.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
I'm looking for the keys because I have the key
to where you can press down and take him apart,
like if you need to run.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Down take the cars right, yeah, So I'm I do that.
But when I get in the car to drive and
drive off, the keys in the ignition.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
So I'm like, hey, you know, where's the keys for
the keys? If you want to leave leave bit nigga,
I need the keys, That's what I'm saying. And she's
just not turned around. So I'll start looking around the
car the r see the keys on the floor. I
grabed keys, start the car up to her. I'm like,
come on, man, getting a car.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
This is not even getting Then at what point, at
one point you got out. We're at where you We
were literally on the corner.

Speaker 5 (25:13):
Start our apartments.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Our apartments is right here, So do two circles, one
for you too. We was literally probably right here, right there. Okay,
you know the car is more over to the right,
so it's probably right here at this point.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Okay, but we're arguing.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
I really don't know where the third person came in
the playoff literally never looked at I do, you know, Like,
I really don't know. I don't know where he came from.
I think he came out of the house, because there
was a house right here. Still, but I don't know
like when he came out, like when he started seeing it,
I don't know whatever. All I know is that he
was like, oh, you killed her, I'm about to kill you.
I'm calling the police. If you move, I'm a shoot

(25:49):
and noad the dad. That's when you start shooting and
ship what the fuck was going on? So I just
wanted to grab dragged her in the car, try to
get her in the car. And I was going to
before that, Yeah, where where I said that she jumped.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
In front of the car. Where really really in this yard.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
But it's like weird because I don't know on purpose whatever,
but there's a tree right here. There's like a tree,
you know, like when somebody has a nice yard and
got to like the one tree just right there, and
she had a tree like that, and it was like
she was trying to hide behind the tree where she
kind of like over gainst herself and went straight in
front of the car to the point to ride just
ran out of the car.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
I'm trying to get the fuck out of here. I'm
in my car. You guys can hit in my car
right now tonight.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
I don't know what happened, but I was pulling up
to her parents' house and when I turned, it was
made like a clicking noise like you know, and after
that it was hello hard to turn left her right
like I needed powers earlier. Yeah, this is like probably
like an hour or two before she took place. And
I'm telling her, like, you know, tomorrow, I need to
go to the shop.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
I need to make sure that my you know my
I tired. My stema was right. She's like all the
pop used to fluid or whatever. So we was just
you know, it was fine. We didn't stop driving a car.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
And I think, but yeah, it was hello hard to turn,
Like we could go get in my car right now
and it's Nobley.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
Shit, it's hello hard to turn. You don't really have
to struggle.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
I'm trying to figure out. So at the point when
you so you were down on two forty eighth, is
that correct?

Speaker 2 (27:05):
I was like, I was like right here, I was
right before this turn. No, No, it actually got out.
Actually you got back into the car. Yeah, where you
got was the car here?

Speaker 1 (27:14):
When you got back, the car is probably like this way,
you know what I'm saying, facing this way. And when
we because like I pulled up. I pulled up, but
I like turned over so the car wouldn't just be
in the road. Oh to talk to her, and I'm like,
come on, come on, get in the car.

Speaker 6 (27:30):
And I got up yeah yeah, Google map yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
And I got out. I'm like, come on, get in
the car or whatever, come on, come on, get in
the car. She's not going for it. And then I
pulled off. She out the front the car. I hit her.
But when I hit her, I don't pull off because
that's not what I was trying to do. I get
her in the car.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
I'm gonna attack her Value Medical Center. It's like it's
just too much. The whole time it was too much.
I'm not trying to know this shit, you know. So
he lets off the two borners, and when I go,
he lets off like five more shots, literally five more shots.
And when I come back around, I just I'm speeding.
I'm trying to take the left, and I'm pulling to
the church, you know, cause I'm trying to like make

(28:11):
sure she's alive. Where it's the church is like right here,
right here.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
I don't know because it can't be that far. It
might be a little bit further, but I just know
we was at the church.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
We was at the church. I pulled over, pulled up
on the curve to the point of her. My car
hit the bump. I put up on the curve like
in the park at the church. Yeah, and I'm like,
I'm like, I go over to church. But I'm like,
wake up, man, what's wrong with you know? Like, what's wrong?
I was hell scared. I didn't know what happened, you know.
So I'm like, what's wrong with strong? Strong? She's really
not moving. I dragged her out the car and I'm like.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Wake up, wake up, and that's when I start snacking
her and all shit, like you know, waked up, like
I didn't want her to die.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
I'm not trying to kill you nothing, like I don't
want to see. It's her birthday. Yesterday was her birthday.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
You know.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
So I'm like, you know, I'm slapping her. I'm like,
wake up, wake up, wake up. She don't wake up,
you know.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
I'm like, least is coming out here silently, the sirens
are shit, and I'm just saying my head like you
know what, I'm not to go to jail.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
I see. I know I am, because look how it looks,
you know. And then I uh, I go.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
She's laying down. I'm probably trying to wake her up
for a good five minutes. She's going down. She don't
wake up. She don't even move, don't budge bro. And
then I go and I sit in the decorations. I'm
looking for my phone, trying to call my mom, like mom,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
What the fuck to do. I'm in the full your
mom no, no, So I didn't even know my funnies.
I don't even know my other shoes. So so what happened? Man?
I hoped that fence.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
And then the police is passing by because they already
been got calls of the gunshots.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
And all that shit.

Speaker 1 (29:43):
So they're pulling by and they see me. But when
they see me, I just put my hands in because
I don't have no reason to run. I'm not like,
I literally do not do ship. You see, I'm not
trying to cause you no prob I'm not trying to
me cause you no wishing with the police. You could
even ask the people that helped me. I always tell
ask them over and over again, like can I do this?

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Can I do that? You know, I'm not trying to
give you a hard time because this is the last
place I want to be. So I do that see
me that come give me?

Speaker 1 (30:09):
And when they come over Rogers at this time, I'm
just crying in tears because I'm just so scared. I'm like, man,
I know how it looks, bro, I didn't do nothing,
like literally, you know, I'm just crying. I'm like, I
know I'm about to get charged for some shit I
didn't do. At this point, I'm thinking she's dead, so
I'm like, damn, they're gonna try to me with murder,
her homicide, whatever, you know. I'm just it's just hell
shes going through my head.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
So I'm crying the police, He's going on and on,
and they're like, it's okay, you know all, we're gonna
do all.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
We're not even you're not even under the restaurant's gonna
put the handcups so you could talk to a detective.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
Da da da. And I'm just like, no, man, she's
fucked up because look at her situation. I mean, I
didn't even do nothing, you know. So I'm trying to
figure out, like, so when you pulled over, you got.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
Out, and she was already out, so you came over
here to talk to her, and at what And when
you got back into the car to take off, she.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
Was around the same area where where she at, she
was around the same area. Said the trees right here,
you know what I'm saying. So I'll walk back in
to get in the car, and it was too much
work to turn left, and it was it was like
I was gonna go off the curve.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
I wasn't want to say, so I just went straight,
try to go like this around to the street.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
That was right here, the neighborhood, the street, and she
decided to step over on the other side of the street.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
So I hit her.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
That's when, before I even get to the street, I'm
probably like right here, I get out, get her in
the car.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
The dude shires, the two fires, the two Warner shots. Okay,
so okay, so there's how big is is it a
pretty big tree? I don't I don't know. I just
know it's a tree. Like it was dark outside.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
I was arguing, so I really can't do so at
the time he started to take it off where she
over here, and she was right here.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
On the other side of the tree. She was right
on the side of the tree. On which side of
the tree? This side? And then you started going.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
Around there and this, and she and he was like, oh,
you probably killed her, and dumb calling the police right
now all the other ship.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
So that's why I pull it off. I wasn't even
pulled off if you could have never shot shut no shots.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
So get her in the car, getting to the ship,
the police come, I have my hands up I'm telling them,
you know whatever, I'm telling them.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
I'm telling them what's going on or the ship. And
then they really bring me here and like like, bro,
I'm telling you everything I told you. Oh my daughter
is the truth, Like I have no need to lie.
So when you when she ran, when she was hit
by the car, Yeah, what did you continue going? No?
I stopped. You stopped. I stopped, And I like, I don't.

(32:34):
I don't know exactly like you know how I stopped
or whatever, But I know I stopped. What part of
the car did did you the front? Which part with
left front? Right front? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
You don't know, Okay, but I know she she hit
the front area of the car. I get out, getting
her her ship back in the car. I'm trying to
get her back in the car, so I take her hospital.
Dudes just talking about, oh, you know, you probably killed her.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
I'm not shooting, not shooting.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
That's when the going and shots. And then when I
finally got her in the car, the door didn't close.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
When I'm pulling off this way, you shot like five times?
How for one legs? Was one leg sticking out her
both legs or it wasn't. She wasn't even really sticking out.
It was just like her her legs was kind of
like like you know, the thresholder of the door closes
right there, so I can't close all the way. So
it's like her legs right there, but it's not sticking out.
It's just like the doors open. Yeah, I get it.

(33:23):
So I get in the car like that, and I
get her restrant and all the ship. I told you,
I just got out. I thought she was dead. I
was slapping and like you know, wipe up, wiped up.
The police is coming, police's coming.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Would not she did not respond, no responses, no blinking, no, no,
nothing like.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
When you picked her up. Where was she at in
relationship to the car?

Speaker 1 (33:43):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Like right the car?

Speaker 1 (33:47):
The car was right here at this point. She was
really right here, like on the on the right side,
a little bit through the right time.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
That's how I know.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
I did it really the noon, you know, like I stopped, boom,
got out, grabbed her, put her in the car. It
wasn't know I ran her over type shit, you know
what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
Right, So she was just on the right front of
the car, or kind of on the right car. Yeah,
And I pulled her in got her in the car
and you really turned in it, and so I got arrested.

Speaker 7 (34:16):
No, I went to jail.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
And this is.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Let's see, there's some I had some questions that I
wanted to clarify. So what type what time did you
guys get to the family's house or do you remember
what time you went to I know our reservation was
at seven o'clock. Yeah, we are rocked at the steakhouse,
probably like at seven o five. We got in and
walked in the door like seven o six, but I

(34:41):
don't know, I'm.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
Not They closed at eight, so it probably was a
little bit after that, you know, So they were closing at.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
The time until two eight. Uh RidgeGate apartments. It's okay, alright, So.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
Here's one of fourth here's two forty eight, and then
there's Steve Rich fid Rare, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
The Rich.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
Okay, so it is I can't tell you, but it
is one of these houses, one of these houses right here,
oh okay, okay. And one of these houses have a
tree in front of it.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
And this is weird. And this is one of these roads.
I think it's believed this one and this.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
One is kind of longer, but this is the road
that I went down and I turned back around and
then he got shot all the shots at me.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
No, okay, And then which way did you go when
you when I left him? Yeah? I went this way
and then two way. Yeah, I went this way, and
I just went a fourth and this is eight. Yeah.
So I went into fred Myers over this one. Yeah.
So I went this way and I went to a
church okay on this side.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Yeah, on the on the right side of the road. Okay,
all right, then that's I just stopped. I wasn't really
trying to run up at the police. I just I
was scared, right, That's that's really all I U was.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
I was just scared.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
That's why I got out. And I was slapping her,
like wake up, wake up. Why she didn't give me,
no signs and no response, like not a blink, not augh,
not a nothing, not a moan, not nothing. You know.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
So I'm like, fuck, she really died under staying. I
didn't know.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
So, now, when you got in the car and then
you wanted to take off, how far were you away
from that tree when you initially got in and when
I first got in, Yeah, when you first got in,
taken off.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
Not far out. I'm in that yard.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
I'm in the yard like it's you know, it's all
close proctimity. It's not far though, like probably ten fifteen
feet yeah, probably not even that, not even like it's
the trees right here, you know, I'm in the cart
of trees right here. And when as soon as I
start going, I have to turn to not.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
Hit the tree. Okay, So was your front of the
car right? Was the tree right in front of your
car pretty much? Yeah? And then you turn.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
I had to turn like toward the right and whip
it around for to go like this. But when I
went like this, she hied the front of the car,
got hit. I get out and dragging the car.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
Okay. So I'm trying to figure this out. So the
tree was there, the car was there. Where was she at?
How far was she?

Speaker 1 (37:08):
He was like on the other side of the tree,
Like she's kind of in front of the tree. And
it's like when I start going, she kind of stepped
out more. I don't know if she meant step out
front of the car. I don't know if she got
I wasn't really gonna leave her. I don't know what
she got, but she like stepped towards out more towards
this way, where in the pathway where I'm going, And
that's how she got hit, and that's why I stopped.
Got her in the car, and the whole time I

(37:30):
never looked at him, but he was really like, he
was like, I'm gonna shoot I'm gonna shoot you. I'm
gonna shoot you. You probably you probably killed this girl.
Then I'm gonna shoot you. I'm gonna shoot you.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
Before I even got her all the way in the car,
he shot too, shot where he came from. Did you
hear him yelling at you? I didn't hear no yelling.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
Only the first time I heard him talking, when he
was talking about, oh, I'm gonna shoot you, and I'm
shoot that's like as soon as after and when I
as soon as after the car made contact with her,
I get out. I'm trying to help her the car.
It wasn't no, I wasn't going hell fast. It wasn't
no dramatic shit was it nothing.

Speaker 2 (38:02):
At the match. I'm gonna say at the match.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
So when I got in the crotor was trying to
press the gas and get out of there, like you
you motioned with your yeah, you stop. I got in here,
got out of here. But when I like, when I
pressed the gas for not going no fashion timos.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Where the tires spinning? No, so were you in grass
or you wasn't grass? Okay, so the tires probably did
stud I don't know, but I just know that I
wasn't going no fashion till okay. But you motioned with
your foot like stopping on it. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:30):
I was like, it wasn't stopping, but it was like
it wasn't more like a pressing hard so I could
get out of there real quick, like, you know, so
I can spin around and just get out of here
and this they'd be over.

Speaker 6 (38:38):
Would you describe it like a quick acceleration, yeah, the
quick acceleration.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
Yeah. And then she got hit. I got out the car,
grabbed her. The dude's talking like he was gonna shoot
me all that shit.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
I never even looked in him, cause I'm already paying
up like them. If I'm a die, i'mna die, you know,
And I just put him in the corner. I got
and I went to the church and that's when I
got out. And when the police see me, I didn't.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
At what point did you start because you said you
slapped her a bunch of times. Yeah, at what time
did you start slapping her?

Speaker 2 (39:06):
Right when you got no? I got her in the car.
We went to the church.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
I pulled up on the on the legs, and I'm
the whole time on the way, on the way to
the church, I'm like bad, bad, bad, what's wrong?

Speaker 2 (39:16):
Bad? And she's not saying nothing to me. So then
I get her to the car. I pull her out
the car, and you know, I like, mean you get
her to the church. I mean I mean I not
get her to the car. I go to the car,
I get her out the car. You know what you
get out? Yeah, I get out and I go around
and I go to the pastors.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
I get her out the car and lay her on
her back, you know, and I'm like pressing on her
chest like you know, what's wrong?

Speaker 2 (39:35):
What's wrong? Wake up? Wake up? Like you can't do this?
And I'm really begging her like waking up. I'm crying
like hell hard, you know, and uh, She's just not
waking up, not waking up. So I'm like fucking and
I just start slapping her way, good way, good way, good?
Where are at? Wait? Good? What? Like? Whe where am
I slapping her? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (39:53):
I'm slapping in her face. We're in the we're in
the parking lot. But it's not no like I'm trying
to beat you up. I'm really just trying to slap
you the fuck out of it, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
Yeah, I do it.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
And I realized, well, she it didn't do ship Like
she's not moving, She's not like, oh, she's not doing nothing.
She's not even twitching her eye. So at this one,
I'm like, damn, she died, and I'm you know, I
just gave up on slapping her. So what I do
is hop over the fence. And when I hop over
the fence, police is right here. I just throw my
hands up because I have nothing to hard tell at
what point, because you.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
Said, I know you said earlier you punched her too,
Oh yeah I did, but it was that it was
like probably like towards the A.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
Yeah, I was like I was really sitting there begging her,
just waked up, wake up, wake up, you know, and
she did not move. So I was like slapping out
working I'm gonna just punch her, but I didn't puss her,
straighten her face.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
I don't have corona. I'm sorry. I was just yelling.

Speaker 1 (40:43):
But but I was like, you know, I pussed her
like like kind of on her side of her face,
but it wasn't full force either.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
It was just like, you know, wake up, you know
what I'm saying, And it just didn't work. Of the
face was her left, yeah, so with your right hand. Yeah,
And it was this art and she's laying down that floor.
It was just like, is that the same side? Did
the slaps too? Yeah? It was it was all the same.
I didn't even so. I was just trying to slap her,

(41:09):
trying to get her at and then I hopped out
her fence.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
The police is right there. I didn't give them the
hard time. I just let him immerse me just I
mean running whatever. That's just gonna mean like I didn't
like you know how that wasn't my like, bro, It's
just so fucked up because it's like I was really
sleep and I wake up to everybody arguing.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
All I wanted to do was figure out anybody's arguing.
That's so at the type of days were driving.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
So when you took off from her mom's house, when
she came back to get you, you guys got in
the car. She took off you guys, and you said
at one point and started getting heated, were there?

Speaker 2 (41:44):
Did you strike her at any time at that time?
Did she strike you?

Speaker 1 (41:49):
No?

Speaker 2 (41:49):
I never put my hands on her. Did she strike
you No? I never. I never put my hands on
her inappropriately. I never punched her. I never wanted to
be on no DV ship. I never was like bitch.
I never did nothing. I never even showed no signs.

Speaker 1 (42:03):
Of aggression or anything until she started going to the
point where she's like, oh, you're a.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
Bitch ass nigga and all these other shits. That was
what she was outside here.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
Yeah, but see even then, I didn't book up to her.
I didn't even make emotion that I'm gonna hit her.

Speaker 2 (42:15):
I didn't do nothing, you know what I'm saying. I
didn't do any of that. All right? How much? How
much did you have to drink during the evening?

Speaker 3 (42:26):
Probably like like six shots six shots of what patron patrol?

Speaker 2 (42:32):
And then and where was that at? That was at
her mom's house. Okay, did you guys have anything to
drink at the restaurant?

Speaker 1 (42:39):
No?

Speaker 2 (42:39):
No, So six shots of patrol at the house. And
then that's why she was the one driving. That's why
I was fine her driving. How much did she have? Not?
Not too much, I mean a little bit she but
I mean she was drinking with me, honestly, she was.
She probably got around the same amount of shots I did.
She wasn't. She didn't seem like she was drugs. I

(42:59):
was like, you know, you could drive to that.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
I don't like drink driving anyway, Like my dad's in
real life alcoholic, and I know how that shit is.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
And that's why I don't really mess with my ball anyway.
That's why I'm a light I am. Anyway, How about drugs,
you guys do any drugs? No? And the only drugs
I do is marijuana. I don't do no hard to
I don't do that. No. I didn't even smoke yesterday,
not one that, not one blunt, not Well he had
those six shots of patrol. Yeah, and that was at

(43:27):
the mom's house. Yeah. How long before that? How long
before did you have those shots when you guys took off?

Speaker 1 (43:33):
I don't know, I know, I know it had to
be a many because I was sleep for a little
bit and I and when I wrote when I woke up,
I didn't have no more shots of patrol.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
I just woke up and everybody was beefing and I'm talking.
I'm talking to like, so, you had the six shots
and then slept for about an hour. I don't I
really don't know.

Speaker 1 (43:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (43:52):
You fell asleep after having the shots and then you
woke up. Yeah, And then when I woke up, it
was all yeah.

Speaker 1 (43:58):
It was like my girlone was arguing with her mom.
My my girlfriend's brother was arguing with her mom. And
then when I talked to him, what said, Bro, you know,
cause he's a he's a boy and all them are girls,
Like that's the only boy she has. So it was
like I feel like it was my responsibility to go
out there calming him down my mother.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
You know, calm down. You know, I was getting the house,
and that's what I did. I calmed him down.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
That's why he was able to tell me like, you know,
I fought my mom's boyfriend whatever, blah blah blah blah blah,
you know all that shit, and I was just like, bro,
that's not even worth it, you know, like it's just
keeping pushing whatever. Fuck him, un, Let's just go about
our day. And that's when my girlfriend came and got me,
and then she just just kept the bullshit going.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
You mentioned something about the steering wheel on your car,
is it? So this is the car that has a
problem with the steering What kind of car is it?

Speaker 1 (44:46):
It's a two thousand and one Grand Prix Grand Prix
Grand Prix Black, yeahor TP and.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
Then and that's the car you guys were in. Yeah, okay,
and so what's wrong with the steering wheel? Literally, sir,
I really don't know.

Speaker 1 (45:02):
When we put up to her mom's house, she like
has a cult of sack that you could go in
and turn around so you could park, you know what.

Speaker 2 (45:07):
It's when you're ready to leave, you just pull out.
So that's what I did.

Speaker 1 (45:10):
And I like just took this kind of like a
hard turn because you have to keep your steering real
turn the whole time, and like the last part of
the turn is sounded like a little bit of grinding
your like clicking, you know, And after that it was
just like it would drive straight.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
But when I'm need to take a right, it's hell
hard to turn, Like I'm gonna have to really how
hard a right, like a full right, like a right
any right turn.

Speaker 1 (45:31):
Like if we're slight right, like if this was a
stop sign, then you have to take a left for
a right to go on the road.

Speaker 2 (45:37):
Regardless if you take a left or right, it's gonna
be hell hard and you really gotta how about it
just like a slight right, yeah, yeah, even slightly now.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
I mean if it's a slight like, if it's like
a slight, like really slight, you'd be good because you
got a ton of this much.

Speaker 2 (45:50):
But if it's a turn where you gotta go past
that point, then it's gonna be hard. So think about
the max that you can do probably without being hard.
Is this getting around that tree wasn't hard to turn? Yeah? Yeah?
And it wa it was hella hard to do. She
hella fast like I wasn't trying to hit her. I
was just trying to get the fuck out of there,
you know. So did you try turning out of the way?
Did when I seen when I see she hopped in front,

(46:14):
I tried to turn towards the tree.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
I would have rather hit the tree before her, but
it just it was hella hard like I really would
have had I didn't have all that time for that.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
It was just pressed the gas.

Speaker 1 (46:23):
I'm trying to get out of there, So if I
would have tried to turn the tree on. H I
you know, it's just it wouldn't really change she. If
I would have went the other way, it wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
Have changed she, like, you know, it was just hell.
Anything else wrong with the car, like brakes orthing.

Speaker 1 (46:35):
Yeah, uh if the bras is kind of sh it's
kind of weird. But other than that, it had uh
it had uh messed up radiot her in the water pump.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
I just got that fixed.

Speaker 5 (46:44):
So but yeah, at the tight the car struck her,
did she fly or I mean, uh, she didn't fly.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
She didn't go in the air. She didn't go under
the car cause she was under the car. I would
have had to drag her from under the car. So
at the time you got out and you found her,
how far away was she from the car?

Speaker 1 (47:04):
Probably you bill, I mean when they say too far,
cause she was right there, like right there by the car,
like to the point to where when I picked her up,
the door was open. I'm trying to get her in
the car. And that's when the dude was talking like
I didn't have to pick her up and drag her
to the car. It wasn't nothing like I just had
to pick her up and kind of.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
Like move her.

Speaker 3 (47:23):
So was she was she on the right side of
the car or the left, because I think you said
the right she was on the right side back how
far back?

Speaker 1 (47:32):
She was like kind of like in the middle of
the car, like by the passenger door. Yeah, like right
in the middle where the passenger door in the back
door and meet. Okay, so like the center, yeah, yes, yeah,
yeah right there.

Speaker 2 (47:46):
When you when you she comes out on the right side. Yeah.
So did your car contact her on the right side
of your car? Where would you i that?

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Let's see, that's what I'm saying. I think so cause
that that's the only thing that makes sense, cause I
was turning left to try to know he was out
of here. I just wanted to go around the tree
like this the tree. Yeah, you know, but it's like
before I go all the way around the tree, the
car hear her. So I know it's more of on
the right side of the car because that's what side
she was on too.

Speaker 2 (48:12):
When I got out the car, did you realize like
immediately that you would hit her? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (48:16):
I realized as soon as I hit her. I was like,
oh shit, And I got out the car and I
tried to get her in the car, but it was
like I couldn't. I could only do so much. Like
I would have got her all the way in the car.
But if you have somebody telling you they're about to
shoot you and all this other shit, you're not, you know,
You're just trying to hurry up and get her to
the best that you could be at the moment, you know.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
And that's all I did. I just got her to
the best I can be at the moment. I tried
to close the door, door didn't close. I just got
in the car and steal for it all night. I
might have missed his.

Speaker 6 (48:41):
Perfect But so after you strike her, you're trying to
make that left or pull out left.

Speaker 2 (48:46):
She hit somewhere. Probably hear the front of your car. Yeah,
wait when you see said he pulled around right up
the tree, right of the tree, the tree right here.
I went like this, yeah, and where where So you're
going around with rent of the tree? Where was she
when you the trees right here? She was probably like
right right side.

Speaker 1 (49:05):
Yeah, she steps out and boom, I hit her, and
then I hop out the car and I try to
put her in.

Speaker 6 (49:10):
And so when you got out of the car until
you stopped immediately up on the hit, I stopped immediately
like it was no, it wasn't me trying to hit her.

Speaker 1 (49:17):
Me being as mad as I was nothing, I didn't
want to cause her no harm. Like I literally as
soon as the car made contact, I stopped, got out
the car, try.

Speaker 2 (49:25):
To get her in the car attack of the valley.
But you know, when you got out, she was on
the right side.

Speaker 1 (49:30):
And then I know for a fact the guy or
whoever he was, he was on the right side because
you can hear how close he was, like he was
right next to me.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
But I never paid him any attention, never looked at
him in his face.

Speaker 1 (49:41):
Nothing about was her because I'm like, you know, that's
not that's not the plan life. So you know, at
that point I was only away probably for ten minutes,
so I was like, this is too much shit going
on right now.

Speaker 6 (49:53):
Like you know, brother man, she weren't going fast enough
to where when you hit her you would driven past her.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
So you're saying when you stopped the car, when you
got out, she was still next to the far side
of the car, somewhere near the between the front and
the rear passenger. Yeah, yeah, how far away was from
the car, not far at all.

Speaker 1 (50:11):
I didn't really have to drag her to the car
to put her in. It was really like I'm picking
her up and I'm moving her to the car, like
it's right there.

Speaker 7 (50:19):
You know what I'm saying. It wasn't really no like
no trip or and it didn't feel like you ran
over her. No did she were your windows rolled up
or down?

Speaker 2 (50:31):
My?

Speaker 1 (50:31):
Okay, with that car, my windows all the windows are
pretty much broken. The driver side door, it slides down
by a shelf. Yeah, just slide back up.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
The passenger side door. That's the only door that rolls
up and down.

Speaker 1 (50:43):
The back side door, that window gets stuck and it
will go down byself and the windows down.

Speaker 2 (50:48):
I really, I really don't know. I've ben pay no intention.
The reason why I ask is when you got when
you were leaving, did you hear her say anything? No,
she didn't yell anything anything.

Speaker 1 (50:58):
No, she never her yell anything. The only thing I
ever heard from anybody was the gunshots and her yelling beefing.
But that was before the sea all that shit even
took place. But like other than that, no, like I
really I didn't try to die as the police, I
didn't try to run. I didn't try to give nobody
a hard time. I've been crapping with the police since

(51:18):
I since I got arrested.

Speaker 3 (51:20):
So so you were at the church with her and
you kind of tried to get her up, and she
was on the ground and you got her.

Speaker 2 (51:26):
Out of the car, put her on the ground, like I'm.

Speaker 1 (51:28):
Literally dragging her around the church like I'm bringing her
drag what he means. I was like, okay, Like when
I say dragging her, like I get out the car,
I go to her side, I get her out the car,
drag her in the grass, like bag.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
Wake up, wake up?

Speaker 1 (51:41):
You know.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
I'm looking around, like damn, is anybody out here to help?
You know, nobody.

Speaker 1 (51:45):
Nobody's out there. So when I'm saying I'm looking for people,
So I walk towards the gate, but I'm half her
hand in my hand, you know, so dragon her if
I walked away, I wanted her to be right with me.
I just just didn't want to leave around the street.

Speaker 2 (51:58):
Or leave gagging her as you're walking. Yeah, so I
if I was like, like, cause it gets right here.

Speaker 1 (52:03):
They get like at the back of the church in
the park. Yeah, we're in the back of the church.
My car was like it wasn't even park properly, you
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (52:10):
So I just dragged her in the grass.

Speaker 1 (52:11):
I'm trying to wake her up. She didn't watch up,
and I'm like, fuck, I need some help. So I'm
gonna look for some help. And I walked like a
probably like four or five steps.

Speaker 2 (52:18):
Away locked in. Oh well no, not not yet. Yeah,
I walked four or five steps away from me. I'm like,
you know, I'm not about to leave her. So then
I go back.

Speaker 1 (52:24):
I drag her to where I'm at, and I let
her go, and I'm looking for help, like, you know,
somebody heal me, somebody hear me. Even nobody's around, you know,
so that nobody. All I see is sticker fishes like
ring to the point where I hopped the fence. This
is why I your bishius was hitting me all everywhere everywhere,
But I wasn't even worry about it. I'm just trying
to figure out how to fuck to give myself up
the situation. So I go on the sticker bisiness. I
know I can't drag her in there, so I leave

(52:45):
her on the other side of the fence. Then I
hoped that goar of the fence, and then I dragged
her to the front towards the house, like towards the
front of the house, and h that's when the police
hit me.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
I'll just drop my hands. I'm like, you know, I'm
telling them everything that going on. I didn't hide shit
out of you. I didn't say that there was nobody.
I didn't do nothing. I just taught them everything that.

Speaker 1 (53:02):
Happen at the time when when the police seeing me,
because when I raised my hands, you know, they turned
their bright ass slide on and they would start speaking
to the speaker, and.

Speaker 2 (53:10):
I was like, put your hands up, you know, sit
on the ground and this. So that's what I did.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
I you know, I just like took up probably like
four or five steps towards them, sat on the ground
and just put my hands up and they put me
under the rest. After they put me under the rest,
they never said anything about her. They never said that
she was she was in the backyard of the church still,
because that's the as the only reason why you even
hopped in the front, because I was just trying to
wave down cars, like you know, I need help, I

(53:36):
need help, you know, And it was the police, and
I was like, fuck it, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (53:40):
I have no reason to run, So why didn't you
call name one?

Speaker 1 (53:42):
I didn't know where my fune. I still don't order
my funnies right now. I still don't want my funnies.
I don't remember my shoe is on my phone, I
don't know where nothing is.

Speaker 2 (53:51):
Let me go back quickly quick.

Speaker 1 (53:52):
So after you hit her, when you get out and
you start talking to her, hid or Okay, do you
see is she injured?

Speaker 2 (53:59):
Can you told?

Speaker 1 (54:00):
No? No, it wasn't.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
It wasn't. She was not bleeding on her mouth. She wasn't.

Speaker 1 (54:05):
It wasn't no like immedy damage that you could peep.
It wasn't no scratches on her fast I can tell
that she was no like if I was to walk
up and see her laying there, you just think she
passed out like, you know, like it it didn't look
like she was harm tell her then like she got
her ass?

Speaker 2 (54:19):
He didn't look like nothing like. She just no visible injury.
So when you saw her, was she standing at the
time and she came round the tree, was she standing
or yeah? She was standing up? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (54:30):
And then when I got her in the car, she
was laying on the floor and she didn't say shit.
She didn't say anything like oh why did you hear me?
You know, like nothing, She didn't say the ships.

Speaker 2 (54:38):
And the dude was just like, oh, you killed her
on Carner police. He was like, don't move her, I'm
shoot her. Don't move and that's when you start shooting.

Speaker 1 (54:43):
The chapter two five warning shots and then the last
shots when I pulled off.

Speaker 2 (54:47):
I know him shots was toward the car because you
can tell, you know they hit the car. No, I
don't think so. I don't think so. When when the
car hit her, did it? I mean, what kind of
sound did it? Man, didn't really even make it sound.
It wasn't like a violent hit like. It wasn't like
a violent like boom. It wasn't one of them.

Speaker 1 (55:06):
It was like I just started to accelerate and the
car hit her, you know, So it was it wasn't
It couldn't have been like no damaging, I'm breaking your
spine or all that shit, you know what I'm saying, Like,
it was just as soon as I hit it, that
little joke from when you pressed the gas, that's the pressure.

Speaker 2 (55:21):
That hit her, you know, And that's when I got
up to hit her. How far were you at the time,
like from her? Yeah, break before you hit her?

Speaker 1 (55:28):
How far were you?

Speaker 2 (55:30):
You think? Not too far?

Speaker 1 (55:31):
Like because I got I walked back, got in the car.
The trees right here, The car's right here. She's like
a little bit on the other side of the tree.
And then when I get in the car, she's like
she knows I'm aou to get in the car and
pull off, you know. So it's like she guesses it
and like, oh, try to stop me. You know, like, oh,
I'm stepping from the car. Ain't gonna hit me because
you know I'm not gonna hit her.

Speaker 2 (55:50):
But the way you step.

Speaker 1 (55:52):
Start the car before you took off, it was like
the same time, Like it was like perfect timing.

Speaker 2 (55:58):
Yeah, and see this ship hitter and I put dragged
in the car and you do start shooting, did you?
That's the main How far you were away when she
stepped in front of the car? Not far? It all
like not far. It's a small little York like you
can see it in the future.

Speaker 1 (56:15):
So it's like a little like I don't know which
house it is, but you see, any of these houses
are not too big.

Speaker 2 (56:21):
And I really feel like it was this house right here,
this one right here? Yeah, right, you see that little
black dot that's the tree.

Speaker 3 (56:27):
Oh okay, this house that I'm circling. Yeah, okay, alright,
And then you came.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
Out on this road. I uh, I went this way.
You see the corner sat. I turned around.

Speaker 1 (56:39):
But when I'm going towards this way, he shot two
shots before I pulled off? Did he shot like five
of them? When I'm going this way and I've turned around,
he thought it was this house, but it's this house. Yeah, okay,
I think you circled this one. It's kind of hard
to see, but yeah, so this one, yeah.

Speaker 2 (56:59):
Okay, cause it was okay, alright, how long have you
guys been dating? Like? Two years? Ten years? How did
you get to me?

Speaker 1 (57:08):
I met her originally at school when I was in
high school, but I never talked to her, and then
we just started talking.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
How how long have you gays been living together? Two years?
The end of the whole time. So you mentioned something
about the domestic violence before. It was that with her, No,
that was with somebody else. It was in Auburn. Yeah,
that that case was the girl.

Speaker 1 (57:33):
She The whole story was she wanted me to bring
her house keys, cause I was at her house, but
it was like her sister's house.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
I wasn't supposed to be here. So she's like, you know, crack,
been't bring my kids, don't bring my keys. But I'm like,
you know, I'm doing shit. You know, I can't just
come to you right now.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
So then when I finally bring her the kids and
I turned, she pulled, she just hits her gas and
like pulls up heap clothes to my car. And as
soon as she put it to my car, she just
start kicking my car and hitting it and all the shit,
And I'm like, what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (58:00):
What you're doing? So then I socked her winshield and
then she got the car.

Speaker 1 (58:04):
She grabbed my chain, ripped my chain through it on
the ground, pushing me all in my face, and then
I pushed her off me, and then like just the
video of.

Speaker 8 (58:12):
Me being bigger than her, it looks horrible, you know,
it looks horrible. So it's like, let's see, did you
guys like during the night that last night, did you get.

Speaker 2 (58:23):
Did you learn didn't have any fights? Turning? Are you mentioned? Listen?
I say, yesterday was the perfect day.

Speaker 1 (58:32):
Bro' was perfect bro perfect, Like we did not argue.
It was her birthday. I got her birthday cake, flowers, balloons.
As soon as she got home from work. She walked
into the room's balloons, the birthday cake, all the candles
lead you know, can't the orchids or you know, like
filthy flowers me the expensive ass flowers. I got heard

(58:54):
those with the vays. I got the twenty three balloons.
I got hell of cheetah print balloons.

Speaker 2 (58:59):
This all like you.

Speaker 1 (59:00):
It was. It was all helly nice and like after that,
I was like, you know, getting ready on not to
take you out. I had already made the reservation and
all that she got ready. We went and she was
just like, you know, I love you, thank you. I
know nobody ever did nothing for me like this. She
was like, I had the perfect birthday. And then like
we was not arguing at all, Like even when I
was drunk at her mom's house before I fell asleep,
it was not arguing. Nobody was arguing. Like I don't

(59:23):
even understand how this ship turned in you wake to them.

Speaker 2 (59:26):
I lived like.

Speaker 1 (59:27):
Literally, I wake up to everybody beefing like her brother's like,
oh my Rember, that nigga gotta be fucked up and.

Speaker 2 (59:33):
Blah blah blah. Physical altercations there.

Speaker 1 (59:36):
Yeah, yeah, but her brother ended up fighting her stepdad
while I was asleep.

Speaker 2 (59:40):
That's what he told me. He said that, Actually did
she get in physical altercation? All right? Does she have
any made a foot problems? Nothing? Nothing that you know?
And you too? Okay, right?

Speaker 1 (59:58):
And me, I got like me, I have I I
take medication, I do all that. I take my bat
passion every day. I have anxiety, and you know, I
be I take my medicine every day.

Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
So it's like, you know, I I be on it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
I'll be on top of it. That's why it's so
easy for me to express myself and control myself in
situations like this.

Speaker 2 (01:00:18):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
But it's like I like, literally, this whole situation really
came out the blue, like I would have never expected it.
Every especially yesterday, Like yesterday was really a good ass.

Speaker 2 (01:00:30):
Damn. It sounds like alright, let me huh I get it.
Take a break for a second, and then uh I'll
be raped back. Okay, just take that, ill got Okay?
Is there any why I can get something? Yeah, I'll
get your buy so on right now. Okay, thank you, yep.
What kind of medication do you take?

Speaker 1 (01:00:49):
I don't know what it's called, but if you guys,
just to take it to my house, I can bring
the feel about those.

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
Yes, for this a anxiety I gotta have. I take
anxiety medicine and I take U stomach medicine. Okay, So
like anzi axan Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:01:02):
Do you take a daily Yeah? Take it once in
the morning and once at night. Okay? You ever, did
you miss the dose yesterday? Or you pretty good about
taking I'm gonna take him every day. They took what
was okay right by shop center? Gotcha? I want you
k there. You don't record there for a one A
few months you now?

Speaker 6 (01:01:23):
And then you talked about having taken the shots where
you were still at your girl's house before you fell asleep.

Speaker 2 (01:01:30):
How on know, like a scale? Were you feeling pretty
buzz moderately buzzed.

Speaker 1 (01:01:34):
I wasn't even really feeling buzzed or even drunk. I
just felt tired more than anything, cause like, literally all
day she had work from nine to one and then yesterday,
so I was trying to just hurry up and get
all the shit together and get her balloons and all
her cakes and all that shit.

Speaker 2 (01:01:51):
I was just trying to get all that shit together.

Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
So I didn't even after I drop drops of work,
I didn't even go home. And when I came back
to pick her up, that's the first time I went home.
I changed it and straight to the stakeups.

Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
It was like alright.

Speaker 6 (01:02:02):
And then so when you go back to her house
or her parents' house, Yeah, and you're drinking the shots,
you're because he had six.

Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
I think he's had six shots of patrol. Yeah. I
just I say six because it was the double shots
and I took three of them. So okay, that makes sense. Good?
And I mean, how how buzzed were you feeling at that?

Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
I wasn't really even feeling like ooh well, I was
really just hella tired already.

Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
That's why I sat down and I fell asleep, gotcha?
And then how about after you woke up? Literally when
I woke up, I didn't even have no time to
even be drunk or anything. It was really like everybody's
fighting already, right, you know, And you have a concept
of times, you know about how long you were sleeping. No,
I didn't like listen.

Speaker 1 (01:02:44):
I really fell asleep, never had no chance to look
at my phone, never had no chance to look at
any time. I woke up to her brother telling me
about how their mom's boyfriend, how they had fought.

Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
I didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
I didn't get no run down in time nothing. I
never looked that no time. I just know it was
hell of late alright.

Speaker 2 (01:03:03):
And then the uh once, do you have any idea
about what time you went to sleep? M I really like,
cause you know.

Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
Like when you're with your family, you're with family, you're
not really on your phone. So I wasn't on my
phone or anything. I just enjoying myself and then I
sat down and ended up going to sleep. Like, bro,
yesterday was really a good ass. Everybody was laughing, had like,
I really don't know what happened me going to sleep
and me waking up. What had went on between that time?
I really don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
And then where where did you sleep at their house?
Where did I wake up? I don't want to say
the couch or do you like remember hen I'm gonna
go lay down here? It wasn't. It wasn't even a
planing sleep. It was really like like I'm sitting like
I'm sitting there and I just fall asleep, you know,
so you think you woke up on the couch. Yeah,
woke up. At the other thing you did to trying

(01:03:55):
to get her snap out of it? M Oh. The
only thing I e only thing I did, I was
slapping her and I punched her. But I wasn't not
no mash it. I was scared. I didn't want her
to like, I really thought she was dead. I was like,
you know, so that's all I was doing, was trying
to wake her up.

Speaker 1 (01:04:11):
The only other thing I did I opened her eyes
with my hands, and I was like, dang, bro, are
you okay?

Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
She just did not say nothing, Like her eye didn't
even move, you know, I'm just like, oh fuck no.
So I like I really tested her eye and was
like rebbing on her eye to see if she was
gonna wake up. She didn't. She didn't even move. Someone
mentioned that she might have had but looked like a
bike mark on her face.

Speaker 6 (01:04:31):
Do you know anything about that, Like do you remember
like maybe like bite nerves and see if she'd wake up.

Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
No, I probably did, though I probably did, but like
I was really panicking, Like I'm not gonna lie to you.

Speaker 2 (01:04:44):
I really thought she was dead. I was panicking. I
was slapping her. I was shaking the fuck out of her.
I was like, wake up, Wake good, Wake good, wake good.

Speaker 6 (01:04:53):
So from here, like when you hit her with a car,
you don't think that there's any way that she's that
injury her by the.

Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
Circumstances the car didn't hear that bad. But that's what
I'm saying, Like I did not, Like, that's what I'm saying.
Did I really do something bad? You know? Because when
I said officer, she really did not move at all
to the points where I'm doing anything I can to
see if I can get it in her. No moaning
grown or anything like that after you get out to
check on her. No, after she got hit by the car,

(01:05:24):
there was no moaning, no groaning, no movement.

Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
It was really when I would dragging her to the car,
it's dead away, Like you know, it's like it's no
no effort from her at all, and I'm dragging her around.

Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
It's dead way. Could you tell her she was breathing
or not. I never, honestly, I never even pay attition.

Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
I just wanted her to say I'm okay, I'm okay.
I really was just I was really hell scared.

Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
And then the keys to your car.

Speaker 6 (01:05:50):
When you found the keys where they separated, they were separated.

Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
So it was the one the key that I started
my car with it can get separated away and the
other keys, and that was on the floor in like
the middle of the street.

Speaker 2 (01:06:01):
I had to really search in front. And was it
on when you guys were driving. Were they in the
regular condition like the normal keys or was it not? Sure?
Uh So then when you you find the.

Speaker 6 (01:06:14):
Key and you said you found it on the ground
like outside, not the four inside the car.

Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
No, it was outside. It was really in the street,
like in the road.

Speaker 6 (01:06:22):
And do you think she was just because you were like, hey,
I'm about to get out of here. Did you figure
she's just walking home and you'll see her.

Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
Back at home?

Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
Was that the Honestly, she has like a attitude patho
and she has like just like I got angry issues.
She hasn't saying, but like she'll put herself in danger
because she's so mad, like you know, like, oh, I'm
like to walk all the way down this dark ass
road because I'm mad.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
I just want to get away from you. Yeah, but
you're not even thinking about the danger. You're picking yourself
how far?

Speaker 6 (01:06:51):
Because that from my understanding, you guys are pretty much
right around the corner from your apartments right when that happens.

Speaker 2 (01:06:55):
Yeah, so when she was she when she was walking away,
was she walking in the direction of the she was
walking from the apartments, but she kept going past them.
Do you have a lap laptop here? And it's a
little more like pan panel will kind of get more
details just to where, because it's kind of hard to
do it on this. So here's here's the laptop, and

(01:07:16):
here's so and the fact that you did.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
I do remember the biting shit because when that when
it when it happened, I remember I slapped.

Speaker 2 (01:07:26):
I was slapping the ship.

Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
Out of her hell of hard and then I and
then I punched her and then I lifted up her
head and I was shut. I was like grabbing her here,
but I was shaking her head like while she was
laying on her back, so her head was like kind
of up like this, and I'm like, bro, wake up,
wake up, wake up. And I'm like, the police is coming.
I can hear the signs just getting closer and closer.
So I start kissing her on her face, you know,
I kissing on her face.

Speaker 2 (01:07:46):
She's not waking so you know, I remember that I
bet her on her face. I remember that. I remember that.
I mean I I bet her. No, I don't know
if it was hard, man.

Speaker 1 (01:07:55):
I just know I was trying to do anything I
could to get her to wake up, like even if
it was me calling some pain in her saying how
fuck that hurt?

Speaker 2 (01:08:02):
Like if I could have.

Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
Broke her arm and she woke up, I already did
it all just because I really at that point I
really thought she was did.

Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
Okay, So let's go over to when you guys, when
she first stopped. She was driving.

Speaker 3 (01:08:12):
You both were in the car. You were going this way,
because there are these are the apartments RidgeGate. I don't
know which ones. Oh right there, ridge Gate. There there
are the apartments. Okay, So you guys are going this way,
which is southbound on the one oh fourth?

Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
Is that correct? Yeah? Okay? And where at what point
did she pull over? Right here?

Speaker 6 (01:08:32):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:08:33):
So she did she? I think one time you said
she stopped in the middle in the road, stopping the road.
She was she was stilling the road, Okay. So then
she got out, is that correct? And which way did
she go? She started walking towards this way lest she
was going towards the apartment. Okay, Mamar, did she playing?
But my thing is, she was walking like she wasn't

(01:08:55):
going towards the apartment.

Speaker 1 (01:08:56):
And with my experiences with her, like I was telling him,
when she's mad, she'll just like she's the type of
person to get hill of mad and like, I'm gonna
just walk here, like if we're downtown, I'm gonna walk
through this darkness. She's not even thinking about the danger.
She spinning herself.

Speaker 2 (01:09:09):
So did she ever turn down this row two forty
eight towards Yeah, yeah she did. That's how. That's how
she got here. But my key, But my thing is
she was she was on this side of the road,
and she was more of trying to go this okay,
trying to go home.

Speaker 3 (01:09:22):
Okay, I'm gonna try to piece by piece, just little.
So she stops, she gets out. You're still in the car, yeah,
and then she walks get right.

Speaker 2 (01:09:32):
Here, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:09:32):
And then I get I get out and when I
get out, she's still walking on this shaw and I'm like,
you know what the fuck is going? No, I didn't
follow her yet. I was looking for the keys, always
done her, like where's my keys? Where my keys were
my keys, you know, because either way I had to
go the same way she was going.

Speaker 2 (01:09:49):
To go home.

Speaker 3 (01:09:50):
All I wanted to do was go on the car,
ask him where the keys at? Where was she at
at the time you got out?

Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
When I when I got out, she was probably like
like we're realistically, probably like part facing okay.

Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
And she was walking. She was on this road.

Speaker 1 (01:10:03):
She was walking straight when I'm asking for my keys.
By the time I found my keys, she was already
at the corner turning.

Speaker 2 (01:10:09):
Turning that way. Okay. And then at what point did
she did.

Speaker 3 (01:10:13):
She acknowledge you or answer you or anything. No, she
she just continued walking.

Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
Yeah, so that's no.

Speaker 1 (01:10:18):
And then she but she did say I was like,
where's my keys or my keys? She turned around one
time and she was like, I don't know what your
fucking keys are.

Speaker 2 (01:10:24):
She just kept going. And then at one point you
found the key on the floor. Yeah, I found the
key in the road. It was in the road road.
It was in the road on the left side of
the car, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:10:34):
And then you grab the key your car. I proceeded
to go home, okay, So you see, my apartments are
right here. I had to pass her to get to
my apartment. So when I'm about to pass her, I'm like, man,
get in the car, come along with.

Speaker 3 (01:10:46):
So you hold on, so you you get you get
it started turn right here. So at what point did
you pass or come up.

Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
To her on the side of her? It was really
when she was right here, because she was she was
about the house. But okay, So, but I wasn't trying to.

Speaker 1 (01:11:02):
I didn't want to like droom and you know it
makes it like, oh, you know, he's about to do something.
I didn't want to make seem like you're really just
trying to get you.

Speaker 2 (01:11:09):
You just pulled upside of her. Did you roll the
window down? Yeah, and you know the wind up.

Speaker 1 (01:11:14):
I think the windows light is brought down a little bit.
It was it because it was there was a pasteer's side.

Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
So I mean it was the driver sid past side.

Speaker 1 (01:11:19):
But I know that she could hear me because the
ship always falls down, so I know if it was down,
she could hear me.

Speaker 2 (01:11:24):
Okay. So at the point you're on two forty eight
near this house right there.

Speaker 1 (01:11:27):
Yeah, like right at the like right around this tree
type area, Okay, and then I keep I keep driving
and then that's when I pulled over into their yard
type type shit.

Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
So did you go off the roadway into the yard? Yeah? Okay, okay,
and so now let me uh let me assume that's
in and she did so yeah. I don't actually don't
know anything about her status.

Speaker 6 (01:11:58):
So I know that the fire department showed up, and
that's literally just because of the way the things worked out.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
Okay, we'll find out a condition. We're here, Yeah, I
just like a right see Okay, Now I just lost
hold on. So that's two forty eighth just left, and

(01:12:25):
the house is where are they're rich Gate? Oh there? Okay,
So now the house they're with me here? All right there?
And there is one on fourth Okay, I gotta go
over more. So you pull over into that yard. And

(01:12:47):
then where was she at in relations? She was in
New York. She was right on the other side of
the tree. Oh okay, So okay, let me get there.
Hold on, keep listening to keep going. Ok So, now
I'm gonna zoom in here. Why does it keep going?

(01:13:13):
This is touch Okay, so you are in the all right?
Here we go? Okay, So here here's the house. Is

(01:13:36):
that the house that you pull into, right? You pull
the car there, and then she on the side in
the house in the yard too.

Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
Or she's in the yard like towards the front by
the tree like you can see kind of the tree
in the picture little dot.

Speaker 2 (01:13:49):
Yeah, okay, so you pull over and then do you
get out of the car at the time? Yeah, okay,
I'll get out after. I'm like, you know, and where
were you guys at when you were talking about? Probably? Okay,
so you're talking and then are you guy?

Speaker 1 (01:14:05):
Should have probably caused the dude to come outside to
even look out.

Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
His windows, and then so were you Did you pull
off like right here? Yeah, I'll literally.

Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
Pull it off right here, trying to go this way,
to go this way, but how the dude was shooting
and I ended up just going straight, stopped her in
the car and went straight and.

Speaker 2 (01:14:29):
Turned around this if you go all the way right there,
you can see it's a quarta sec.

Speaker 3 (01:14:32):
Okay, So at the time, how far do you think
when you first stopped the car and then got out,
how far were you away from that tree?

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
Not far? About? Not all? Was it like between me
and you? Like the friendly car is probably a little
bit further away? Just yeah, so probably about yeah, okay.
And then and then when you got back in to
take off, why what were you gonna do when you

(01:15:01):
were taking on?

Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
Really, I was just gonna leave her because I like,
I just I knew, I knew how everything was playing out.

Speaker 2 (01:15:09):
If this situation wasn't going down, it was going up.
So I was like, you know what I'm saying. So
it was like, fucking, I'm about just get in the
car and I'm about to pull off. And at that time,
I didn't know if I was gonna pull it home.
I didn't know where I was gonna do. I was
just trying to get the fuck out of here, honestly.

Speaker 3 (01:15:25):
And so where was sh And so when you got
back into the car after you, So I'm trying to
get the straight So when you got out of the
car you talked to her, Where were you guys at.

Speaker 2 (01:15:35):
When you were talking? Were in front of the car,
sat in the car? Yeah? How far were you from
each other? Far away? I couldn't. I couldn't have touched her,
You couldn't. And what were you guys talking about? I
was just like, you don't get back in the cars?
Held away?

Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
I like, and I'm telling her, I'm like, bro, I
literally just woke up. I don't know what you're so
mad for, That's all. That's literally what I'm saying, like,
I don't know what the fuck's going on, right, I
don't know why you're mad. All I was trying to do,
like cause she was mad at me, and because she
was telling me, like when I'm talking to her brother
when I first walked up, she was like, come on, bro,
I'm like to leave you come to fuck on my
brother's beef and blah blah blah.

Speaker 2 (01:16:07):
But I was sitting there trying to talk to her, like, bro,
what's wrong? What happened? You know? So she got mad
from that and that.

Speaker 1 (01:16:15):
Yeah, for me talking to her brother and not coming
when she said come okay, that's that's really what caused
her anger.

Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
She was not mad at me any type of way
before that, okay.

Speaker 3 (01:16:24):
And then when you guys, when you got out, after
you pulled into this yard and you got out to
talk to her, what did she say?

Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
Did she say anything?

Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
She was I'm like, come on, man, get back in
the car, and she was like no, I'm like, you're
making the car just I'm like, man, just get.

Speaker 2 (01:16:40):
Back in the car. I'm like, we're out here, Bro,
we're being hell. I was just come on, this is
not that serious. I didn't do nothing to you. I
didn't cheat, there's not it's not like I saw. I'm
telling her, it's not no situation with an outside female.
It's really you're beef with me because I was trying
to check on your brother.

Speaker 1 (01:16:55):
And like I kept telling her that night, is that
if I'm fucking with you, your family comes a part
of that. Bro. I'm not just gonna care about you
and all. If your brother's down, I'm just gonna you know, no,
i'mna I'm.

Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
Gonna check on him.

Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
So mes all I did, and she took it to
a whole different level. But that's how I know that
was arguing about it had to be something serious.

Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
Okay, and then at what and then and then where
was she at when you got into the car?

Speaker 1 (01:17:22):
Though, when I got into the car, she was probably
sitting here, like around this corner, around this area, because
she when I when I had got into the.

Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
Car, she was just turning around. I'm talking about the
second time when right before this shit happened.

Speaker 1 (01:17:36):
Yeah, like right when I was walking to the car,
she was like towards like the front of the tree
kind of. But then when I had gotten the cars,
like she knew that I was about to leave, so
she like kind of like, you know, like no, don't leave,
and she thought I was gonna stop me or something,
you know, because either is it because she wanted to
view with me still or it's because she just didn't
want to be left in all the cards.

Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
Now, let me ask you this.

Speaker 3 (01:17:55):
At the time you got in the car and you
quickly accelerated, where did you see her at at the time?

Speaker 2 (01:18:03):
Actually, where did you see her when you got in
the car. Honestly, when I've gotten the car, didn't really
pay no attention to her. I was just trying to
get the fuck out of here, you know. And I
know you didn't know where she was.

Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
Yeah, but I'm saying I believe that she was left
on the left side towards the tree because there's no
real really a place that she could be that she
was in the open or would have seen her, you know.
So me getting in the car on the left side
the tree being diagonal, I could see I couldn't see
her on the other side of the tree, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:18:29):
But yeah, you know how I didn't see her out
in the opening.

Speaker 3 (01:18:32):
That tree, or could you not it's not it's not
because it's something she can hide behind. Yeah, Or I
mean yeah, you could hide behind it, behind the tree
like I can hind it.

Speaker 2 (01:18:43):
You wouldn't see me. Yeah, okay, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:18:45):
Do you think she was hiding behind the tree at
the time, or I don't know what you don't know.
So when you got in there and getting ready to leave,
you didn't see where she was, But you think she was.

Speaker 2 (01:18:56):
Around the tree? Yeah, okay, because there's no other way.
There's no way.

Speaker 1 (01:19:00):
I pressed on the gas held fast, So there's no
way she could have been anywhere else in the part
of the yard and get right there, yell fast, you know,
so she has to me on other side of tree.

Speaker 2 (01:19:09):
There's no So did you intentionally go at her?

Speaker 3 (01:19:12):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:19:13):
It was like, honestly, I could look at you guys
in your eye and I really could say it's genuinely.

Speaker 2 (01:19:18):
I did not mean to hit her. I did not
want to harm her. I did not want to do anything.

Speaker 1 (01:19:22):
The only time that I caused her a harm that
you could say was intentional is when I was slapping
her a pressure and just for her to wake up, like.

Speaker 2 (01:19:29):
I was doing anything I could, Like I've told you,
I was digging in her eyes, trying to get her
to wake up.

Speaker 1 (01:19:34):
I just wanted a reaction. She didn't give me no
signs of being live, none like.

Speaker 2 (01:19:39):
No, oh stop.

Speaker 1 (01:19:40):
It wasn't no, it wasn't nor like. It was nothing
like when I'm dragging her, she's just like, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:19:47):
What I'm saying, how far do you think you? That
wasn't It wasn't hard. It was it was all in
the grass. It was no seamen. It was all grass.
It wasn't it was it was all in the same yard.
It wasn't fara. What was she dressed in? That name?
What was she dressed in?

Speaker 1 (01:20:01):
She's still address that. I don't know if she was
still addressed or not. Like that's that's crazy, as you guys,
I didn't even pay attention.

Speaker 5 (01:20:08):
Okay, all right, let me think, have you guys ever
gotten to other physical or any physical ult not other
but any physical alteration?

Speaker 2 (01:20:19):
You know, we never gotten no physical educations.

Speaker 1 (01:20:22):
But like we got to arguments to where I'm punching,
I'll punch the wall. You know, she punched the wall
or she breaks the glass or something like that. Never,
it wasn't me it was our last apartment.

Speaker 2 (01:20:34):
But you know, all right, all right, let me, I'll
be right back. I gonna return this to I'll be
right back and then I don't know if you have
more questions, but no, that's a few when you were
out before. But I think I just have some clarifying stuff,

(01:20:55):
not much. I'll be right back. You need more water,
you know she's good. It's gonna happen, honestly, so I
and you'll know obviously soon as we.

Speaker 6 (01:21:05):
Know some kind of the way this thing goes down
and went down, is it whatever took place with you
and your girl happens right when that happens. Once the
officers show up to certain stuff, they kind of assess
the scene and decide.

Speaker 2 (01:21:19):
Whether we need to be called. So, which is what
ended up happening. The tanks got called.

Speaker 9 (01:21:24):
So I only know a real small part of what's
going on, and pretty much it's kind of straight from you, right. So,
once we're done here, we're gonna go and kind of
find out and talk to some of the officers and
the other sergeants, and then at that point we'll.

Speaker 2 (01:21:39):
Have an idea of what's going on and what's gonna happen.
From this point on. You know, it's just I don't know.
I mean, it's kind of a weird situation, right, I mean,
I'm gonna have to see this pretty much. Their chances
are strong, in all honesty, and you're not a BS
kind of guy, and I don't want to be s right,

(01:22:00):
So it's just what the part that's really odd and
you might build it. And all I think is even
on to you is it sounds like you really didn't
hit her that hard for the car to really hurt
her too badly. I didn't. That's why she probably, like
I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:22:15):
Think she has no broken legs, nothing like she shouldn't
have none of that, bro, I didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:22:21):
And that's why we were asking about medical conditions.

Speaker 6 (01:22:23):
And you knew about that might that something like this
might trigger because of her that going responsive.

Speaker 1 (01:22:31):
I know she got that anxiety and I know she
has anxiety attacks like I do. Does she take medication
to me, No, fully an acceptance that she hasn't ye.

Speaker 2 (01:22:42):
Does she smoked weed too? Yeah? Does that help her
with her anxiety? Does that help you with yours?

Speaker 1 (01:22:48):
I mean I wouldn't say it helps me, but I
mean it just gives me that common factor of like, uh,
it makes me like not care about shit, Like if
if she used to do something that I would normally
care about, and if.

Speaker 2 (01:23:02):
I smoke about it, then I just don't care for
you care less. I care less less, not that I
don't care what I care less. So it's like I
pick and choose my battles, right, you know, and tonight,
you guys know where her parents' house? How many times
have you been over there? You know pretty well? Yeah,
like it was, it was a good time.

Speaker 5 (01:23:22):
We were all.

Speaker 6 (01:23:24):
Sounds like something moviously happened, and you never really got
to the root of what happened when you.

Speaker 2 (01:23:31):
Was killing me the whole situation.

Speaker 1 (01:23:33):
I'm sitting here and I really don't know even what
God the situation to where it was at.

Speaker 2 (01:23:40):
I don't know. I don't know what was said, I
don't know what took place. I don't know nothing. So
when you fall asleep, everything's.

Speaker 1 (01:23:49):
Cool, everything's fine, nobody's arguing nothing, We're fine, laughing into
the arguing.

Speaker 2 (01:23:56):
I wake up to a whole different vibe. Everybody basically
saying hey, let's go, Yeah, let's go get in the car.
She's like, back, let's go, re leaving and I'm like, well,
i'm talking to you. I'm trying to make sure he's
I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (01:24:05):
To check all your niece, your nieces and nephews because
all her brother's kids was there, and that's like what
I tell her, I'm trying to check on her he's nephews.

Speaker 2 (01:24:11):
And she was like, I'm about to leave it, and
she just she left.

Speaker 1 (01:24:15):
So from the time you woke up to the argument,
just time, man.

Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
Yeah, how long was it from the time that you
woke up to the hero.

Speaker 9 (01:24:24):
What's going on and told her to come back to
the to the when she left you right the first time?

Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
Probably like oh, he five minutes, so pretty quick she leaves.
And then how long before she knew?

Speaker 1 (01:24:35):
Her brother didn't know that she was coming back, but
he was like, she's He was like, you know, she's
gonna come back. It was like he she called him,
said tell him they got him on my way.

Speaker 2 (01:24:44):
He just knew that. Yeah, he was like, he was like, bro,
she's gonna come back. Bro, you know he's got chilled
and all that, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:24:50):
And I was just telling him, talking to him about
what happened. He said that he was doing a song
or something.

Speaker 2 (01:24:56):
I don't I don't know what happened.

Speaker 1 (01:24:58):
I just know that he ended up fighting man, he
ended up fighting his mom's boyfriend, and you met Amy
wore Yeah, like everybody was cool. Everybody was perfectly fine.
We're all poorn shots just because her brother's birthday is
the day before hers, so everybody, you.

Speaker 2 (01:25:14):
Know, for cheers and of the day, everybody's having fun.

Speaker 1 (01:25:18):
Like I don't know, and this shit accused me because
I'm like, oh my god, I hate I hate it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:24):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (01:25:25):
I'm like, I'm really like, I hate small spaces and
me being in the sills finding me over sham, I.

Speaker 2 (01:25:31):
Did not do, like, yeah, I just want to be
know with I need to fight.

Speaker 1 (01:25:37):
Or what people are trying to charge me if they're
gonna try to say out and we're gonna tell you obviously,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:25:43):
Honestly, I don't even know at this point what's gonna
come with this. I really don't. And like I said,
I'm not kind of a you know, I'm straight up
I tell you, Like I said, we.

Speaker 6 (01:25:52):
Kind of came in this just having pretty much a
little basis of knowledge kind of what was learned other officers,
but most of what we're hearing right now of this,
and that's why we're having.

Speaker 2 (01:26:04):
You go in so much detail because that's important. That's
important so for us.

Speaker 6 (01:26:08):
To know exactly what took place, how it took place,
where it took place.

Speaker 2 (01:26:14):
Once we find out, we're gonna let you know, honestly.
And that's why you know you're not in comfort right now.
We're just having kind of a conversation.

Speaker 6 (01:26:26):
It's just like some kind of the sticking point is
how she did, you know, getting hurt from kind of
what sounds like from basically what you're describing kind of a.

Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
Low speed impact.

Speaker 1 (01:26:38):
It really was what it was not a high speed
impact like it was not it didn't have even enough
space or trying to get a.

Speaker 6 (01:26:45):
High speed And I think you mentioned this, but let
me ask again the distance from that tree, because apparently
that's probably where she stepped out from.

Speaker 2 (01:26:51):
And the front of your car was how far before
you tired? This far? The front of our car is.

Speaker 1 (01:26:57):
My knee the trees right there, so like literally you
had five or six feet up it.

Speaker 2 (01:27:03):
Literally celerate was the guy it was. When I got
out the car, he was like, oh you probably, He
was like you killed her? You did to day blah blah, blah.
He was like, don't move, don't touch her. I'ma i'm'na shoot,
i'm'a shoot, and that's when you start shooting. And that
even made me want to leave even more. But that's
why I didn't want to flee anything.

Speaker 1 (01:27:23):
That's why I didn't go far away from the sine
right if we put put the maps out, didn't run,
I didn't try to obey, nothing like you.

Speaker 2 (01:27:30):
Know, it was. It was never that. I was just
was trying to get the fuck out of that situation.
Because that when I pulled off, he shot like five
times and you didn't hear the shots hit the car
or anything. Did you tell he was shooting?

Speaker 1 (01:27:42):
Honest honestly, I was really in tunnel vision, just trying
to get the fuck out of there.

Speaker 2 (01:27:47):
And so she was in the passer re seat, but
the door wasn't shut because it wasn't closed up the way,
but it would be. The passenger door was kind of open,
and she was in the passer. She like she wasn't
gonna fall up, you know, Okay, So it wasn't. It
wasn't door couldn't swing like it was maybe just nothing
could have if it it could have, if I was
going fast enough. It's like I wasn't going fast enough,

(01:28:08):
so the door never smug open. And the do you
remember what kind of shoot she was wearing? So were
her like were her feet? I don't really know. All
I know is that the last thing I remember her
wearing is cause she wore to dinner.

Speaker 1 (01:28:21):
She wore a dress and she wore too in the
hiegos right, So I don't know if that's she was
wearing steel or anything.

Speaker 2 (01:28:26):
I really don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:28:27):
She could have, like our house is really held closer.
She could have went through the house, changed and went
back to her mom's house.

Speaker 2 (01:28:32):
I don't know. I really did not even like have
time to analyze nothing she had on. Like I couldn't
tell you nothing she had on.

Speaker 1 (01:28:38):
I really literally woke up she hopped in the car.
All I see is her face like, come on, Ben,
when need to hurry.

Speaker 2 (01:28:44):
Up and go dad? And I'm just like, well, you
know what's the problem? Right? So do you think they
were dragging on the ground and you're driving away? What
her feet or were they in the car enough to
be not real?

Speaker 1 (01:28:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:28:56):
I really don't know. All I know is that I
got her in the car enough for her and I
fall out, and.

Speaker 1 (01:29:01):
I just wanted to get the fuck out of here,
cause it went before I even got her all the
way in the car. The dude shot two shots. Man,
you know, and that shit like it's a paranoid with
me now cause I already.

Speaker 2 (01:29:10):
Got shot myself. I don't think it's just shooting. That's normal, right, Yeah, shooting.
You don't wanna be anywhere near where they're shooting at
yeah at all. So I just try to hurry up,
get her in the car, make sure she was good.
Didn't want to cause no more bullshit, and I just left.
So who shot you? Who shot me? I? I got shot?
I got shot when I.

Speaker 1 (01:29:28):
Wasn't took willa. I don't know who shot me. It
was just I was in the car with my cousin.
My cousin got shot five times. I got lucky and
got shot once.

Speaker 6 (01:29:36):
And your cousin this is the one that just pass
nah miss something like that's not my blood cousin.

Speaker 2 (01:29:41):
But we're hell closed right there. You're gonna start calling
my cousin and he surruss someone that after him or
after you. I don't even we don't even know who,
don't even know what it is, so no one was
ever charged or that mm and back. So so I
s was looking so now I was able to get

(01:30:02):
it to zoom in not over here. So this is
the house right here. So now what I'll do is
I'll do a street view right here. Didn't work. Yeah,
So there's the house. Yeah, let me see. You must

(01:30:26):
not even be a tree. Oh see, yeah that's the tree.
That's the tree.

Speaker 1 (01:30:31):
Yeah, okay, because there's okay, So yeah, I'm like right here,
I try to go through their driveway and get out
of here like that. So was there any cars in
the driveway?

Speaker 2 (01:30:43):
No, I don't know. So what So when you pulled
down here, what do you do you remember going through
the shrubbery here? I mean no, I just know I
ended up down the yard. I mean, did you So
when you pulled into the yard, were you going fast
at the time? Mm hmm not really fast, probably like
tween months for hour? Okay, okay, And is that is

(01:31:06):
that the time you could have hit her too? No?
I didn't. I didn't make any contact where. I didn't
hit her.

Speaker 1 (01:31:11):
I didn't know nothing ever took place when I first
put put into New York.

Speaker 2 (01:31:15):
Okay, it was a conversation before anything took place. Okay,
so then you were going you said twenty miles an
hour and pulled in. Which way did you pull in
on this side of I'm going forward this side?

Speaker 1 (01:31:25):
I don't know. I really like, I really don't know.
I really can't tell you. I don't wanna like make
some of mine.

Speaker 2 (01:31:30):
Wait, no, I don't wanna know.

Speaker 1 (01:31:32):
I just know that I was pulled in and I'm
just trying to hurry up, like come on, make getting
the car, you know, like I wasn't even really paying
that sing attention.

Speaker 2 (01:31:38):
To nothing really but her. And then you went to
the right of that tree.

Speaker 1 (01:31:41):
Yeah, when I when I when I pulled out, Yes,
I went to the ride the tree, and I was
trying to go this way, m to pull out that way,
but I end up when he started shooting, I just
went this.

Speaker 2 (01:31:50):
Way and went that way and turned and then came back. Okay, okay,
cause I I like, I I don't know. I was
just hoping he wasn't gonna steal shoot, but I didn't
think he was. Cause and at the.

Speaker 3 (01:32:00):
Time when you pulled in, you were going twenty miles.
You think you were going twenty miles an hour?

Speaker 2 (01:32:04):
Yea. Where was she? So at what point did you
pull up a side beside her and say, hey, get
in the car? She was when I pointed, or she
was probably around this area right there?

Speaker 3 (01:32:15):
No, I mean, but did you pull up aside her
beside her as you're driving?

Speaker 2 (01:32:21):
Wasn't really aside her? Always kind of behind her, you
know what when you were yelling at her that, where
was that at? Like around the street? Okay? And then
where was she at? She was more towards this way,
this way and now was this behind her slightly? So
you were behind her telling her to get in the car,
and then you didn't pull up on the side of

(01:32:42):
her because it's the main rope, you know, right right? Okay?
And then at what point when you pulled into the yard?
Where was she at as you were pulling in? Shoot
shoots in the yard? What made her go to the
yard though? That's I don't know. I really feel like,
I really feel like it was just it wasn't even
like she thought about going into the yard. I feel
like that's just where she stopped at. Okay, ever going

(01:33:04):
over the shrubs or anything. Mm mm. You think you
were going like twenty hours.

Speaker 1 (01:33:09):
But when I first put in, I I wasn't going
twenty cause do it had been hard for me to
stop suddenly.

Speaker 2 (01:33:13):
So when I first when I was like going twenty
on this rub going, I wasn't. I wasn't going fast, okay.
But when I put it, it wasn't like a her.
It was like a you know, I feel you know, okay?
And then the car you stopped the car and you
got out. Is that when you got out and talked.

Speaker 1 (01:33:29):
To her, and then try to talk to her and
then and this canversation just kept my levating the worst way.

Speaker 2 (01:33:34):
When I got back in the car trying to pull off,
where did you gaze? Well, when you got out, where
did you guys talk at?

Speaker 1 (01:33:40):
It was I'm more, I'm more about the car, and
she's more over here over head okay.

Speaker 2 (01:33:46):
And then at one point you get in and start
taking off and then okay, alright, alright, is there anything
else you can think of?

Speaker 1 (01:33:59):
It?

Speaker 2 (01:34:00):
Did ask you about it? I just so, did you
do you remember if there's any cars in the tray?

Speaker 6 (01:34:06):
Like?

Speaker 7 (01:34:07):
You don't remember?

Speaker 1 (01:34:08):
Literally, I really do not remember. It was really like
tunnel vision. Although all I went into her it is
all I wanted was to her to.

Speaker 2 (01:34:14):
Get back in the car. You know what I'm saying, Like, literally,
I really did not know why the situation was happening.

Speaker 1 (01:34:20):
So just imagine you wake up your girlfriend, your wife whatever,
she's beefing, and you're just like, you know, what the
fuck is the problem?

Speaker 2 (01:34:26):
I really don't know. That was That was literally my only,
my only concern. It was just trying to figure out
what the fuck I did.

Speaker 3 (01:34:33):
So when you guys were out of the car talking,
when did the gunshots happen?

Speaker 2 (01:34:38):
I was right next to him. I wasn't even in
the carreat when the when the first gunshot? You were?
I wasn't even in the carriat. I was trying to
pour her in the car.

Speaker 3 (01:34:47):
No, no, no, I'm asking when you first pull up
and you guys you get out to talk, Yeah, were
there any gunshots?

Speaker 2 (01:34:54):
Then? No?

Speaker 1 (01:34:55):
Like gunsot the gunshots happened after the con the car
made contact with her or not, and then I get
out to take her and put her in the car.
And then he's like, literally probably right here, and you
can like the gun you can feel in that vibrate
your ear.

Speaker 2 (01:35:08):
Dum.

Speaker 10 (01:35:09):
You know what I'm saying, Where were where was your
car after you? Like right here stop after I stopped.
It was not like right here, like like in front
of it was right here. Okay, you know what I'm saying. Oh,
that's when you put her in the car. Yeah, and
she was on the right side, but she was still
in the grass. And where was she laying in that
if you can put it out in that photo when
you stopped the car.

Speaker 1 (01:35:28):
I don't want to say, like around this area, okay,
like on each side of the tree, you know, like
around this area.

Speaker 2 (01:35:34):
Okay, okay, So like what what where do I what
do I guys like, you know, what do I have
to look forward to dealing with you?

Speaker 6 (01:35:42):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:35:42):
Well, let me uh, let me get to bring this
back out there and then I'll let you know.

Speaker 6 (01:35:47):
So's when we'll complain what we're saying what I earlier,
it's there's we just have a small part of this.

Speaker 2 (01:35:56):
Yeah right now, it's not a small part because it's
a big party. We have to kind of talk to
the other officers and then a decision we made, so
we can't tell you. It's not like I'm keeping something
from you. We we gotta find out. We gotta talk
to them, and then obviously you'll be the first to know.
So I'm not gonna sit there and link the you know, BSU,

(01:36:17):
I more than you will.

Speaker 6 (01:36:18):
I mean, here's the thing man, right, it's stuff happens,
and it's it's and this is my experience in life.
Bizarre things happen, right, and sometimes they're unfortunate, sometimes they're not.

Speaker 2 (01:36:32):
This is one of those situations where they're unfortunate. Right.
The circumstances of you, you know, getting into it with
your girl and her getting hurt by the car and
the guy with a gun. It happens. This is too much.
So you're your willingness to talk about it is huge, right,
because I need to let anybody no, I'm not no,

(01:36:55):
and I trust I appreciate that. I was never on
no harming the shit.

Speaker 11 (01:37:01):
And like I said, it's we appreciate it because it
does help us a lot because all we without what
you just told us right now, all we have is
is information.

Speaker 2 (01:37:13):
Given to us by people, right the where your car was,
the officers.

Speaker 6 (01:37:20):
So you kind of filling us in on especially the
wise because the wives are always big, right, we can
always figure out.

Speaker 2 (01:37:26):
What happened a lot of times the wise are huge
because you just don't understand why something took place. This
makes this helps fill that in.

Speaker 6 (01:37:37):
It's just and people getting arguments all the time, right,
I mean people argue with their girl, with their guy,
with their family, like her brother, all the time, and
so it's not a good slot into an argument.

Speaker 2 (01:37:51):
Right. You obviously had the DV issue. It's obviously it
gets a lot to break someone's property in the midst
of one. But it's just like I said that, the
unfortunate circumstances of the accident is what we have to
find out, like what happened, man, and your half of
this is gonna help us figure that out. Yeah, Like
I'm telling you, I'm telling the truth.

Speaker 1 (01:38:12):
I like, I really have nothing to hide from. Then
you nobody and whatever question you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:38:16):
Don't know and tell you.

Speaker 1 (01:38:17):
I just man, And she's killing me. Like my daughter
starts school this week. Man, I was Darne three, shee
it smart. Yeah, she's she was potty trained before she
turned to jeez, and she's starting like like preschool. Yeah yeah,
she was like the prechoy. She goes to this advance.

(01:38:38):
It's like you got I had to get her school
surprise this see your backpack pencils and journals all day
and uh, she goes it every night, she gots homework.

Speaker 2 (01:38:47):
It's like it's it's a real so smart. But my
daughter's really advanced. Like like when you talk to her,
it's like you're talking to a six or seven year old.
Oh really Yeah, yeah, I have a niece. It's kind
of like that. That actually is like that. Yeah, she
the stuff that comes out of her mouth just like yeah,
yeah I didn't learn that til yeah exactly. Yeah, So

(01:39:08):
I get that they're they're hell in touch with their emotions.
They know how to explain how they feel. Yeah, like
they're raising that's just what's your daughter's name? India? India.
That's cool. And uh, it's her mom in the picture.

Speaker 1 (01:39:20):
Yeah, her mom don't really like me cause I don't
wanna be with her, but we're still good call parents.

Speaker 12 (01:39:26):
Yeah that's the important part. Yeah, you know, I mean
just making sure that you guys show your daughter the
love and yeah, just make sure she knows.

Speaker 2 (01:39:37):
That you know that both her parents have her.

Speaker 1 (01:39:39):
That's that's that's a big thing. Does she live in Kent, No,
she lives with her mom and rything. But I'll get
her three and a half days of three week and
her mom a three.

Speaker 2 (01:39:49):
And a half stage. Yeah, what days you get her?

Speaker 1 (01:39:53):
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, m nice and they that a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:39:57):
Of Thursday sometimes. Yeah, yeah, kind of drop her off
or it change when I gotta wonder when I gotta
drop her off? And do you work? No, not yet,
but I've been helping my uncle around his yard instead,
he be paying me for my mom. I'll be doing
her yard and cutting her grass and wandering her classes life.
So she give me money for that. So it's kind

(01:40:18):
of like a job in a way. Yeah. Uh, did
you work before you all work? I worked at Ups,
I worked at him Fed Eggs. Yeah, uh, I worked
at Target, fred Meyer, a few places. You know, you
can tryna go back something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:40:37):
I'm I wanna find a career like I really, I'm
interested in going to barber school.

Speaker 2 (01:40:42):
That's cool. Yeah, yeah, man, that's that's good, and it's
it's important, you know.

Speaker 6 (01:40:47):
I don't know if you've heard that saying man about
if you finding something that you love, you'll.

Speaker 2 (01:40:51):
Never work a day life. Yeah thing. Yeah, so yeah,
if if it's something you enjoy doing and and that
makes it that much you here, man, cause you we're
gonna spend the next twenty thirty years.

Speaker 1 (01:41:03):
Doing it, Like you know why, I'm just like I
really can't even really think. I'm just thinking a situation. Yeah,
and like this shit is really like beyond me, Like
like I like, I ain't I'm not making no excuses
for nothing. But it's just like, damn, how could you
have a good ass day and me just going to

(01:41:24):
sleep and waking up?

Speaker 2 (01:41:25):
He changed the whole dynamic cause of day. Yeah, and
it's like you should have just left me and never
came back. Yeah, Well, and you could sit there and
cut a shuit of wood all day.

Speaker 1 (01:41:34):
I swear I wish I had a little time machine, man,
cause I would definitely just be like, oh, you're leaving.

Speaker 2 (01:41:42):
You came back leaving?

Speaker 1 (01:41:43):
Yeah, and you know, like man, and I didn't push off,
Like I took her to the steakhouse today.

Speaker 2 (01:41:52):
Yeah that's the bill. Just US two was a hundred
and thirty two thousand. Yeah, like know those things are
not cheap. What the hell? So it was a great day.

Speaker 6 (01:42:01):
Uh, it was literally as good as And she seemed
like she was mad because you didn't initially wanna go
with her.

Speaker 1 (01:42:07):
It was like she was mad cause like they want
a listener, and I was still worry about how her
brother feel and that's what that's how I feel it
was she was mad because how how I was.

Speaker 2 (01:42:15):
Care I cared about how our brother feel.

Speaker 1 (01:42:17):
But at the same time, I mean, that comes along
with me wanting to message you you're not a joke,
and your family comes along and I.

Speaker 2 (01:42:25):
Need to have respect for them just like I have
respect for you. But that's just my beliefs and that's
what I was taught. So everybody don't think like that.
So I can't really be mad at her. But at
the same time, it's a good It's mean, it's a
good way to think. Man. Yeah. Uh, and you've been
when there two years? Yeah, and what high school is
you guys do too?

Speaker 1 (01:42:43):
We went to ruh Well, I went to Renton, she
went to Limburgh and then we both went to SLC.

Speaker 2 (01:42:48):
Yeah, it's that and that's where you guys first mad.

Speaker 6 (01:42:51):
Yeah, and then you guys had messed with each other
then mmm, just how'd you end up pucking back up afterward?

Speaker 2 (01:42:57):
R Really?

Speaker 13 (01:42:58):
I think she liked one of my pictures on fit
but you just started chop talking and then we just
took it from there. But at that time when we
started talking, I lived in Arizona, and then I ended
up moving back here and then it was good.

Speaker 2 (01:43:10):
We part in Arizona. H what's it called two Fell
here orl Valley? Yeah, that's fair. It was a live
lyric for a long time. That was a cop third
four here. Really, I Oh, I loved the police out there.

Speaker 1 (01:43:24):
It's like they're like a more younger something I don't know,
and it's like that really just don't go out their
way to message you, like if you're not literally if
you're not causing damage to nobody, not being nobody in.

Speaker 2 (01:43:36):
Danger, and you're not gonna mess with you. Like I've
lived out there for eight or nine months.

Speaker 1 (01:43:40):
I never once got pulled over, and that then, like
and every police officer I ever came in contact with
it was hell and cool or Valley's nice tea.

Speaker 2 (01:43:48):
Yeah, it's really nice.

Speaker 1 (01:43:49):
The only thing is they don't have no street lights,
so I'm na like nighttime it was pitch black and
it was dark pitch black.

Speaker 2 (01:43:57):
Yeah, but I loved the scenery there. I love driving
over there. I love just it's different than Yeah, it's.

Speaker 6 (01:44:04):
Like exact opposite here. Hell there is brown flat exactly,
no heels. Yeah, other than Lake by the mountain right there,
like world about that's nice. You never go up to
the mountain Lemon No.

Speaker 2 (01:44:16):
I always played, but I never went, just like I
wanted to go to the Grand Camp, but I never
went to Bodwater.

Speaker 1 (01:44:22):
But I think that was in Las Veggas. I think
that was one of the manmate legs. Oh yeah, yeah,
lake need he drives. He kind of d drive, kind
of forward. It's like a canyon. But he got like
clear ass water and he rid the jet skis and
you could just ride on him. Man.

Speaker 2 (01:44:38):
Yeah, what uh? What brought you there? Was on? Really? Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:44:43):
I was just kept on getting in hell of trouble
out here, not even with the law. It was just
you know, but people I don't like, people don't like me.
And my mom us Yeah, my my mom was just like,
I think it's time for you to move. And they
sat there and cried and just bagged me move. Then
I moved to Vegas and then me and my dad
ended up getting to it because he.

Speaker 2 (01:45:05):
Was just tricking.

Speaker 1 (01:45:07):
He's just alcoholic. And then I called the female Arizona
to come and give me.

Speaker 2 (01:45:11):
She was only six hours away. She came and got
me and I never left after that. Yeah yeah. And
then so you you stay with her there and there, Yeah,
under stayed with her. He's just yet and then when
did you come back out of here? Like well, I

(01:45:33):
don't wanna say last December, but of December before last. Yeah,
that's when made me come out here. And I was like,
you know what I wanna this day. It's hot there though. Yeah,
but then he never really got to me too that. Yeah,
it's okay if if you end up blake. Since this,
we just go from air condition air condition. Yeah, they're

(01:45:55):
not out very working on roots or so. Yeah, I
had I did work at a hotel. I worked that
day Hampton dropping out other there and I was at
magnans Man. We had good roofing. Yeah, oh my god.
That's how I was fun. But it was like really
demanding you. You tired after work every day?

Speaker 6 (01:46:12):
Yeah, yeah, that's why, like all the construction guys that
start there, like they're done by like two in the afternoon.

Speaker 2 (01:46:17):
It was like, it's stupid, pretty hard man.

Speaker 1 (01:46:21):
I just honestly just wanna figure out what I gotta
do for this. Sois the tectivegy comes in, I mean,
there's like no way that would release me and be like,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:46:32):
Know, I really don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:46:34):
Like man, I just don't want to ship no shit,
man God, Like man, I I feel like if it
was so intensely ded whatever, I wouldn't care.

Speaker 2 (01:46:42):
I would care, but it would be easier for me
to take on.

Speaker 1 (01:46:45):
Yeah, either like be in a situation I ain't mean nobody,
no harm what Literally, I would sleep, Yeah, I was sleep.
All this shit happened within ten twenty minutes of me
being awake, Like crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:47:00):
Right, I mean that's it's I just like it is
so I could have just stayed asleep. It's crazy and
stuff like that happens, and but it does, like all
the time. It's it's just weird when you look back
on things and how when you look back on how
they played out, how they started, it's always stuff like that.
We're like, what that happens? Yeah, it's never it's never

(01:47:20):
the big stuff that lead to big issues. It's always
like I don't understand just you know, I mean when
they get upset.

Speaker 6 (01:47:29):
Stuff that a lot of times that we as men
don't always understand. And that makes it hard because you know,
it's hard to wrap your head around stuff like that,
but yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:47:39):
It happens. You just kind of gotta go with it.
Had you ever been I know, you got in trouble
for the DV things. You ever get in trouble for
anything else? Mmm? Uh my.

Speaker 1 (01:47:53):
When I was little, me and my cousin stole the car. Yeah,
but that it wasn't even really still in a car.

Speaker 2 (01:47:59):
You found a key, he's and we just got in
the car. And hell really, I was probably like fourteen
or fifteen. Yeah, but don't got no violent crimes, you know,
And you see you're lucky. I mean, just like the
shooting thing man and your cousin.

Speaker 6 (01:48:15):
Yeah, and you'd be sprus at the difference the quarter
ends can make.

Speaker 2 (01:48:20):
And someone like, yeah, seriously, that's how I feel about
my mind. Like my bullet is right here, and the
doctor told me off standing like they shot me off
standing like this, and they shot me from this way.

Speaker 1 (01:48:31):
So the bullet went in and went towards my spine
stead of going through. But the doctor's like red hits you.

Speaker 2 (01:48:36):
If it would hit you and he was just standing straight,
that would have went straight to your heart. Yeah, yeah,
I'm like wow.

Speaker 1 (01:48:41):
And then my uncle he pointed to me, he was like, bro,
it's something like this far away from your head, like
you know, yeah, he just had to aim a little higher.

Speaker 6 (01:48:50):
Yeah, Like it's that's the tine things man. And then
I mean your cousin getting hit five times and.

Speaker 2 (01:48:56):
Yah that he's okay. That was horrible. He got it.

Speaker 1 (01:48:58):
And I remember that dad, he got shot and he
hopped in the cars like bruh, I got shot, Dada,
dare And I'm like, what happened?

Speaker 2 (01:49:05):
Key? Where you get shot at? And he was like
that this why didn't even know I was shot? But
he was like he was like I just got shot
in my chest. I just got shot in my chest,
or he said he got shot in his leg. He's
like I got side of my leg and was like yep, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:49:16):
And I had a whole big pack of waters in
the backseat and we was just trying to rush into
the hospital. And I kept on this pouring water on
the pouring water on him cause she was like, man,
I'm passing them. I was like, I can't breathe, I
can't breathe. And it was because he was dying back there.
He had him shot in his chest, he got shot
in his wrist, in his hand, like right here, in
his stomach.

Speaker 2 (01:49:36):
It was horrible, damn And word was that it that
was in tug Willers like willa, yeah, how long ago?
Like it was around December. That was so like real
reason hm And no no one ever charged for it, no, no,
huh uh nobody. What did you guys?

Speaker 6 (01:49:54):
I mean cause you mentioned right with us cut in
here and stitching some thing?

Speaker 2 (01:49:58):
Man? Right? Yeah? Did he know who shuting? You just
don't you know? We really didn't know. We did not know.
All he was doing was just driving. We had Jeff
left them all and.

Speaker 1 (01:50:08):
We was sitting there talking about should we go back
to the morning to get a shit abun And I
was like, let's go back, you know what I mean,
like right with close friends knew him and he was
the drive reason.

Speaker 2 (01:50:17):
When he got us to the hospital and stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:50:21):
And it's crazy, I feel like Dall was really watching
after him, because after the whole shit happened, we sat
there in the car and we looked in the car
and bought the Bulleholls and there was a bullharg that
went through the driver's seat and came out the driver's seat.
But he was sitting right there the whole time, So
I don't know how man and I get like it
was Hello weird, it was Hella weird. Yeah it is, man,
That's what I'm saying. It's just you never you can

(01:50:43):
never tell.

Speaker 14 (01:50:43):
That's that's always just the little things, man, I mean,
like said, the quarter ends can make the difference between
just like you weren't like, oh man, I.

Speaker 2 (01:50:54):
Got something and then I'm good now or I'm paralyzed
for the rest of my life. Yeah I'm dead. Yeah,
you know, it just doesn't take much. You see that
the police shot somebody in the back, and now the
NBA boycott and.

Speaker 1 (01:51:08):
The Major League BEJA boycott, w NBA boycott it if you.

Speaker 6 (01:51:13):
Look at that though, And that's a little frustrating because
they they showed the video real quickly.

Speaker 2 (01:51:18):
What you don't see if the guy has a knife,
oh really yeah, he's got a knife in his hand,
and then he says, I have a gun in my car.
I'm gonna go get the gun.

Speaker 6 (01:51:26):
Really well, that's why when he walks and opens the
car door, yeah, I mean yeah, they freak out and
and he had a warrant for his rest.

Speaker 2 (01:51:34):
So I mean that's it. But it's sad, man. I mean,
I don't condone like the Minneapolis thing was terrible. Yeah,
it just should never happened.

Speaker 15 (01:51:41):
Yeah, but we can't show things like that and say
things that are gonna set people off, like now all
Wisconsin's freaking on fire because yeah, you know, and now
the NBA.

Speaker 2 (01:51:52):
I just want people to wait for facts and if
they're wrong, man, they're wrong, like if they if you
mess up, you mess up. You got to deal with it,
right And just same with some of Minneapolis officers. You
gotta deal with it.

Speaker 6 (01:52:07):
If that guy shot that guy in the back, he
had that live too so far for no reason, he
needs to get dealt with, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:52:15):
But you just gotta let these things. You can't just
jump to these conclusions. Yeah, and I'll be saying the
same thing. But my thing is, there's like, like I
feel like police officers have hella, like.

Speaker 1 (01:52:27):
The on duty ones that's in a uniform, you know
all that. You know, you guys have hell of different
things besides your guns that.

Speaker 2 (01:52:33):
Can help detain something, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:52:37):
But it's like, you be, I can't really speak on
it because I haven't been in their shoes.

Speaker 2 (01:52:41):
I mean, in perfect situation, is that one they tried
to taste the guy they did it. Yeah, it didn't work,
which it doesn't work sometimes really.

Speaker 6 (01:52:48):
Yeah, so like people with decision as some people that
can't know because just the way the device works, some
gems it will catch clothes, and if it doesn't, you
don't get that same kind of field that shock feel.
Sometimes they miss there is a one proble hit 'em
cause it has to have two probes good one on
miss and the same thing.

Speaker 2 (01:53:09):
It's just ineffective. So if you can't so they did.

Speaker 6 (01:53:12):
They tried to taste that guy first and then it
just that's what I can trust me I And I
tell this all the time.

Speaker 2 (01:53:19):
I've been doing this twenty years. Man in twoson for ten,
here for ten. That's good. You I ain't. That's damn
near my whole life. I'm twenty three. Yeah, it's okay, okay,
So just I mean, just let you know, cause we
I mean, this is uh involving the carbet. We got
a lot of people out there at the scene and
kind of looking over things too.

Speaker 3 (01:53:38):
Yeah, And I talked to some of the guys out
there at the scene and then and then you notice
some uh contents from her purse.

Speaker 2 (01:53:46):
Can you explain that? Can you tell me about that.

Speaker 1 (01:53:49):
I mean, only the only thing that could be constants
in her presson she had a person or in and
she dropped it or something. Bit I I like, I
really was not folks on anything she had on. I
can't even tell you she tended it out for it.
I was just simply trying to get her back in.

Speaker 2 (01:54:02):
The car and I just wanted to go home. Did
you dump her person out any chance? I mean it
just be I mean no, you know I didn't. I
didn't dumb her purse in the middle of the road,
in the middle of the road. Yeah, the only like
in the on this road on she on the main
road that was on. Yeah, she could have she could

(01:54:24):
have got the car and dropped her purse. I never
dumped her purse.

Speaker 1 (01:54:26):
And I feel like that is like more that makes
more sense because I'm telling you I found the one
key by itself in.

Speaker 2 (01:54:34):
The middle of the road in which road it was
the this the long roads like from coming on fire. Yeah, okay,
I think they found the contents of her purse right here. Yeah.
I never I never tested her person. I never did
any of that. I just found the key right here.
I came around. I never tested her person. I never
grabbed anything anything.

Speaker 3 (01:54:55):
Okay, Now, and then you know you know about a
lot of the ring cams and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (01:55:02):
Yeah, because we have video. So is the thing is here?
Here's the thing. Is it possible you could have spent
from here and went through the yard and hit her. No,
there's no way.

Speaker 1 (01:55:17):
I was already in the grass, That's what I'm saying.
But like, I don't, man, I just know that I
believe I was in grass, and I know what I did.

Speaker 2 (01:55:27):
I talked. So did you when you when you picked
her up and put her in the car? Here? Did
you have to drag her? Then? No? She was right
next to the Remember do you do you remember any
of her clothes coming off as you dressed? No?

Speaker 1 (01:55:39):
No, I can't even I can't even tell you what
she had on. Literally, I cannot tell you what she
had on. I can't tell you what shoes with outfield.
All I know is that the last thing I know
she had on before if Leslie was the dress in
the two in the hios. Okay, and no jackie. She
didn't even have a jackie. She didn't have a shirt.
It was just the dress in the Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:55:58):
So when you got to the church, or when you
got to this church with her in the car, you
took her out. I took her.

Speaker 1 (01:56:05):
I took her out the car. I brought a letter
in the grass, try to wake her up. I kept
my saying, wake up, wake up, wake up.

Speaker 2 (01:56:11):
Then I moved.

Speaker 1 (01:56:13):
I dragged her a little bit. I'm like, wake up,
wake up she Then I moved. That's when I start
slapping her. And that's when I punched her. And that's
when I was picked up her head and I was
like wake up, and I started kissing on her. I
was I was really digging my hands in her eyes.
When I say, her eyes were wide open, braw and
she was not making a tear, not moving, not shit,

(01:56:34):
you know. So I start kissing her, you know, and
I started I bitter.

Speaker 2 (01:56:37):
Fact. I remember that. I just wanted to do whatever
I could to see if.

Speaker 1 (01:56:41):
Like, you know, she's gonna, oh wow, you know, I'm
wake up and be like you know, I'm I'm I'm
gonna good with it.

Speaker 2 (01:56:46):
I need to go to hospital. Whatever I know regards
she used to go to the hospital.

Speaker 1 (01:56:49):
I just when you went to that church, I parked
in the back of the church, in the back. Why'd
you park in the back.

Speaker 2 (01:56:55):
I just that's I just knew that's where the parking
lot was. I just turned into church. I really wasn't.

Speaker 1 (01:57:00):
It wasn't no, like really thinking about what I'm doing
is really I'm in an emergency. I see a parking
why I'm pulling in your eyes, just pulling the bar
like to the points where if.

Speaker 2 (01:57:10):
They have the pictures of my car, you can see
that the car was not.

Speaker 1 (01:57:14):
Not legally parked. It was over alleged like you know what,
like a s eydewalk. It was on the curve like
I felt the bottom of it scratch at the church. Yeah, okay,
yeah you can you can see it. They have pictures
on my part.

Speaker 2 (01:57:25):
You can see it. Do you remember I mean going
over a curb at the house there?

Speaker 1 (01:57:31):
No, I never I never went over a curve. That's
why I would feel the bump. The only bump I
ever felt was in the yard.

Speaker 2 (01:57:38):
And it wasn't even a big bump. And you and
you you're positive you got you stopped in the yard,
got out. I was in the yard. I know, I
was in the yard, just like this like that for
me to be in the road and then go in
the yard, it seemed like that. It happened too fast
for me to be all the way in the road.

Speaker 3 (01:57:56):
Okay, because the video shows you the road and then
going back and dragging her into the car.

Speaker 2 (01:58:03):
I wasn't in the road, Like what do you mean?

Speaker 3 (01:58:06):
I dragged the car like right here, like after I
mean when you came and then turned hit her and then.

Speaker 2 (01:58:15):
See that's what I'm saying. I didn't turn and hit her.
I got off the car that you stopped in the
road right here and went back and drug her to
the car by the yard.

Speaker 1 (01:58:25):
There is literally no way I could have sat here
and drugged her. I don't want to see the video
on myself, because there's no way I could have dragged
her hell for on the road. It was how all
that shit happened.

Speaker 2 (01:58:35):
It was too fast. Like the dude was right next
to me in his yard when he shot the two shots.
So how could I have been out there? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:58:43):
So how would I be in the road, That's what
I'm saying. I'm in his yard on my feet are
on grass, and this is what I remember, right, you know,
But you're saying that like a like dead asked. There's
no way that I went past the house. I never
went past the house, which house the house that that
she was at that I hit her at. I never
went past the house first.

Speaker 2 (01:59:03):
I was at the house.

Speaker 1 (01:59:04):
When I pulled up, I was not in the road.
If I was in the road, it was only a
little bit. It had to be just a little bit.
It was not the full car in the road. If
I did stop in the road, that's when I was
talking to her, like getting the car. But when I
pulled in, I never just pulled in and hit her
like I.

Speaker 2 (01:59:17):
Got out the car. I'm stepping in grass.

Speaker 1 (01:59:20):
I remember, because when I got out the car, I
was as soon as I got the car, I was
right there dragging her.

Speaker 2 (01:59:24):
I didn't drag her hell afar. Only time I dragged
her far was like equal at the church. Did you
drag her like on concrete? Or is it all I
think you mentioned? I believe it was all grass. But
like I'm telling you, I don't want to make no excuses.
I don't want to share her like I'm flying that shit.
I don't. I'm being around the whisper, protecting myself. Nothing.
All I'm saying is all I did, and all I

(01:59:45):
was focused on.

Speaker 1 (01:59:45):
I was making sure she's alive. I'm not paying attention
really to what I'm dragging around. I'm not paying attention
to where I'm dragging around. But what I believed is grass.
Like the only way that she could even touch concrete
is probably when I first pulled her out the car,
But she wouldn't be on concrete alone. That's what I'm
saying you right there, because you have the picture of
my course in the grass on this part of the church.

Speaker 2 (02:00:09):
Okay, is there anything else you can think of that
we didn't ask you? Okay?

Speaker 3 (02:00:18):
Is the information given in the statement true to the
best of your knowledge?

Speaker 2 (02:00:21):
Yeah? Okay. Was there forced use or threats or promises
made to make you give a statement?

Speaker 1 (02:00:27):
No, okay, it was just threats used as the scene
of the crime. That there's threats using the scene of
the crime. The dude saying that he was gonna show me.

Speaker 2 (02:00:36):
That he was gonna kill him, that.

Speaker 1 (02:00:38):
I didn't even have no gun.

Speaker 2 (02:00:40):
Oh that yeah, talking about the guy that yeah, okay,
he don't. He don't get no consequences. That's not we're
investigating that so that you can't give answer because we're
gonna talk to a lot of people.

Speaker 1 (02:00:54):
I mean, there's you know, there's a law that people
have a right to protect themselves and others too.

Speaker 2 (02:01:00):
And then you know, I didn't even cause no warm well,
I know.

Speaker 6 (02:01:04):
And that's that's that's I didn't even Perceptions are different,
So that's kind of what the.

Speaker 3 (02:01:09):
Issue is right now, I'm gonna turn the record off and.

Speaker 2 (02:01:13):
I'll be right back. Now you've listened. Now go to
your thing.

Stuff You Should Know
Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
