Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to your top through Crime hob for the variety
and episodes you're looking for enjoy.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
So what are you kind of wondering why you're here? What?
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Well?
Speaker 2 (00:09):
What did they tell you when when they arrested? Did
they tell you what the charge arrest? Yeah? Yeah, they
did arrest you. So you are under arrest. And what
am I arrested? Murder? You know you didn't expect that
car to be found. I know that when it was found.
Do you know what was in the trunk as well
as I do? The reason your husband is unmber.
Speaker 4 (00:30):
When I was driving, so I was still driving left
at the time, okay. And that was in twenty nineteen, okay,
so she had to discourbe in twenty nineteen. And anyway,
it was like steady, are you okay?
Speaker 5 (00:48):
And she goes, I need you come get me now, okay.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
And I said, I can I call you back in
about five minutes I got so maybe in the car
with me a passenger? Okay, can I give you a
callback so as I can. At the time, I didn't
know what was going on. I just knew that she
was in Seattle.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Did you even know she was moving to Seattle?
Speaker 6 (01:12):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:12):
Okay, I had not even known. But I actually did
not know she was in Seattle. I knew that she was,
I didn't know where she was. That's basically what it was.
Speaker 6 (01:26):
We were worried about her because that that weasel were listening.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Okay, Anyway, I had time alerted something was going on
with Stephanie and Andrew and anyway, she was pissed because
I couldn't just drop what I was doing and talk
to her, okay, and she didn't sound right, and she goes, uh,
(01:56):
I why did she say what?
Speaker 6 (01:57):
I said, I'll call you after five minutes.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
I can't I won't be here or something like that,
and she hung up okay, and it was like.
Speaker 6 (02:09):
I was like terrified. Then it was like I don't
know what happened.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
And then we didn't hear anything till later that next night.
Got a nun your phone call from Stephanie and I
was sleeping. It was like two three o'clock in the
morning or so, right, and she asked John because he
John answered the phone if he can come get her,
(02:33):
and we said, yes, where are you thinking?
Speaker 2 (02:36):
She's probably a no, we knew she was in the
gallery like that gotcha?
Speaker 4 (02:40):
And actually she called me from because I called back
the number after I dropped that person off and found
out she was in like tequila, oh okay, at a
burger joint. So I'm like in and out burner and
I at that's the name of it. And they said, nope,
(03:04):
she had left and so and we reported her as missing.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Oh okay, did you actually file a report a police report?
Speaker 6 (03:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Okay, so there's a police report?
Speaker 6 (03:15):
Okay that your date?
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Yeah? Yeah, exactly. So seriously horrible was she at that time?
Any think? Was she eighteen yet?
Speaker 6 (03:25):
Or she was eighteen?
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Okay?
Speaker 6 (03:26):
And now she's nineteen?
Speaker 2 (03:28):
So this last year okay, yeah, I'm pretty sure the
report said twenty twenty. Really, but like I said, I
can check. It's not a big deal.
Speaker 6 (03:36):
But anyway, so anyway, big deal and that's okay.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
So so John gets on the phone. She wants she
wants to get picked up. Yeah, and then what happened?
Speaker 6 (03:44):
And then I think I talked to her?
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Okay, what did she tell you about what was going on?
Speaker 7 (03:49):
No?
Speaker 4 (03:49):
No, he talked to her okay and found out where
she was and then found out she was safe because
we didn't know what was going on, right, and that
somebody could you know, sit with her or she could
she's okay. And then because we still didn't know what
was going on, right, and so I knew that she
(04:11):
she was abandoned there. That's all I knew is that
Andrew abandoned her there.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Oh so the Andrew that you knew was the same
one that apparently abandoned her there, right.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Okay, Right, and now there's nobody that I would have
known she brought him into the house.
Speaker 6 (04:26):
I would not know.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
So you had previously met Andrew because of her, because
she brought him to the house.
Speaker 6 (04:33):
Okay, yeah, shady, bastardy.
Speaker 5 (04:36):
I mean, anybody that he brought over.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
And I'm going don't be bringing people to my house, right,
you know, he goes, well, this is my brother, it's
like or cousin.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
It's like, and how many cousins do you have?
Speaker 2 (04:49):
So who brought and to your house? This little first.
Speaker 6 (04:51):
Stephanie, first Stephanie. Yeah, yeah, that was fine.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
But then he started bringing people over.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Andrew start bringing people. Okay, now I'm on the same page.
And you didn't like that, okay.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
And especially calling people brother and brow because when they're
not even related.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
To them, So whatd it?
Speaker 6 (05:11):
I mean?
Speaker 2 (05:12):
These people they brought up. When't you say they're shady?
Like were you concerned they were criminals? Gang members and.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
They were strangers off you know?
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Okay, So let's see she's over in Seattle and she
tells you that she wants to ride or get picked up,
and then she says she's safe. Okay, So like, do
you guys take off the next morning or that night
or oh you guys boom? Or do you sleep anymore?
Just get up, get up, go and go. So two
of you drive to Seattle, Sat, can't Seattle to come.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
Or do you remember downtown Seattle?
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Okay? So you get there and where is she at?
Speaker 6 (05:54):
Or right out tight Seattle?
Speaker 4 (05:57):
She's there's this hotel, well and I think it's abandoned hotel.
Speaker 6 (06:02):
And then there's a big like apartment complex.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Okay, Johnald no more.
Speaker 6 (06:07):
He drove and just the two of you.
Speaker 8 (06:10):
Went, yeah, and so we see her or they're calling
us back and forth.
Speaker 6 (06:17):
She's calling us making sure that we're on our way.
Got we're almost there.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
We're almost there, right because we stopped over I don't
know one of the counts on the way, like at
Starbucks and got a muffing some coffee. I was already
well back out right, and I think I drove so
got some coffee and like a muffin or something, and
so Starbucks had just opened. Anyways, start driving in. She
(06:46):
tells exactly where she sat, so pull on in and
I guess some homeless dude.
Speaker 6 (06:51):
Actually was helping her, So somebody that.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
Didn't know her previously, right, So, and she's beat up
and it was not good right, right.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
So you guys get there. Was Andrew there when you
got there. Okay, So you guys get there, and what
is she What does she tell you happened or why?
Speaker 4 (07:13):
She was pretty vague, but at the same time, she's
really angry, but we didn't know exactly what happened. All
you really knew is that her Nandrew got into your fight.
And this is almost she was letting me know, right,
and that he left her in Seattle. But come to
find out when I'm on my way home, because we
(07:35):
went to the lunch, like at Denny's or something or
early breakfast, and then we went shopping.
Speaker 5 (07:41):
She needs some new clothes, so I stopped at like
a good Will.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Over there going down to camp right in one of
the little town's right there.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
Not too maybe it's quat.
Speaker 5 (07:55):
Yeah, so went there and like see as I can store?
Speaker 6 (07:59):
Oh yeah, we or what was it?
Speaker 5 (08:01):
I don't know if it was good will, but you know,
value builders want them.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
And so stop there because even get some really good shit, right,
I reseell clothing, so stout there, got her a few
outfits and then she was just acting really weird, but
I got her a few outfits and then we started
get back in the vehicle and we were leaving, and
(08:25):
then John went out right away.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
He was really tired.
Speaker 5 (08:28):
And then on the way back.
Speaker 6 (08:32):
She starts telling me.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
I said, so, what's been going on with you?
Speaker 6 (08:36):
Which happened?
Speaker 4 (08:37):
And then she tells me that she was abandoned by
or sold for drugs for a thousand dollars from Andrew
to uh so me in six.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Traffic hm, So Andrew sold her for a thousand dollars
and for some drugs. And basically did it sound like
she actually I mean, did she get stuck having to
sadly have sex with guys or was she able to
oh so that she wasn't able to escape until she
actually end up having sex with some John's mm hm,
(09:16):
she has.
Speaker 7 (09:16):
Locked your room okay, and several had you know.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
And that you got to be sitting here wondering probably
why you're sitting down here in a police interview room.
I mean, I would think i'd be wondering that, right,
wondering Yeah, yeah, okay, well what to do with the car? Yes,
it has to do with the car.
Speaker 6 (09:36):
I'm wondering hit somebody hitting Ryan or something.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
So let me tell you something, and I'm gonna be
completely honest with you, okay, because that's I've been doing
this for thirty six years, and I learned a long
time ago. You know, I tell people the truth. I
respect them, I understand that we're all human beings. Wilming mistakes.
Things happen. A lot of times. People do things for
certain reasons that at the time they believe are very valid.
(09:59):
And sometimes I agree with him. But uh, you know,
I'm not here to bullshit you. I'm not here to
I'm just here to get the truth about what I'm investigating. Okay.
What I can tell you is also, so we found
your car, right because I said that. In fact, we
founded the twenty second of October, which would have been Friday,
(10:22):
in the early morning hours.
Speaker 5 (10:24):
Okay, you guys showed up on Friday and.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Then I showed up Friday to talk to you, but
you weren't home, and I talked to John at the
Queen Queen. Yeah, and then I talked to Johnny said
you were out for a walk is where he told me.
And then I went there. Yeah, and then I left.
And then obviously I didn't.
Speaker 6 (10:42):
Know I was going to go there either. I just
walked in there and I was like, well, just please clean,
it's over, okay.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Yeah. And then I obviously came back Sunday and talked
to you. Okay. So the investigation, I have this notebook
and then I have two more. Okay, So this is
this is more than just finding a car. Okay. So
I'm gonna be completely honest with you. This is not
because you can imagine that the police department finding a car. Huh.
Speaker 6 (11:10):
This is death homicide.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Uh yeah, So tell me about Remember when we talked
on Sunday, you told me that you had heard that
Andrew was missing. Right, What's how did you find out
that Andrew was missing?
Speaker 6 (11:25):
Stephanie?
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Okay, would Stephanie tell.
Speaker 7 (11:27):
You Dad Andrew's cousin called, I think, asking if she
heard from Andrew he was missing.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Do you know when Stephanie told you this that.
Speaker 6 (11:43):
She right right away. I think the day that should
got out.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Oh and like what it had been like last year
this year, do you remember.
Speaker 6 (11:53):
After she got out of the hospital.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Oh, so shortly after she got a sacred car, all
of a sudden Andrew was missing. So what in a
very short period of time from hospital Stephanie's there? He
said about four days. I thought you said maybe three
or four days.
Speaker 7 (12:07):
Yeah, and then she ended up the Cowspell for probably
about a week okay.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
So would it have been after Calspell or after Sacred
Heart you think when you found out that that Andrew
was missing.
Speaker 6 (12:18):
Oh, it was a little while after that, a.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Little while after Calspell or the hospital.
Speaker 6 (12:23):
Both hospital first, then Calspell gotcha.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
And then home okay, and like days, weeks, weeks, huh,
weeks probably, so a couple of weeks or three weeks
after she gets out of Calspell, then all of a
sudden she tells you that she's heard that Andrew was missing. Okay,
So it was fairly quickly after the whole Seattle incident
where Andrew turns up missing.
Speaker 6 (12:46):
Yeah, And at first it was I heard something about.
Speaker 5 (12:50):
He was going to.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Somewhere over there by Seattle, Okay, that he had ended
up moving over.
Speaker 6 (12:59):
There, that Andrew had Yeah, okay, that's what it was,
all said.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
Okay, and you said it was his cousin that called Stephanie.
Do you know the cousin's name? All?
Speaker 6 (13:10):
Yeah, and weird kind of things.
Speaker 5 (13:13):
Stephanie ended up dating him.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Okay, what's his name? No biking me?
Speaker 6 (13:26):
If you think about it, you think about it.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
So the cousin called stephan and says andrews says Andrew's missing.
And this would have been a couple of weeks.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
I think it was him from somebody that knew him.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Okay, they knew Andrew and Andrew's missing.
Speaker 5 (13:42):
Yeah, I think the mother wanted whoever called Stephanie.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
The mother Andrew of Andrew. Okay, so it sounds like
Andrew's mom. Im My, guess an adopted one here, because
he's adopted, right, Yeah, guess Andrew's adopted mom called somebody
and they called Stephanie and said, hey, Andrew's adopted mom
would like to call.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
From you or would like to know information, okay about
where Andrew would be.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Okay, gotcha. Did you ever hear what happened with that
whole thing? As far as no last time and you're
still missing. Oh okay, okay, okay, so you have to
understand as a police officer. Okay, when we typically talk
to somebody in an interview, we usually I don't know
(14:31):
you ever watch cod shows them? Okay, So have you
ever watched like First First forty eight? No, that First
forty eight is a show about homicide detective. Is it
like they follow homicide, Yes, but they actually follow homicide detective. Yeah,
maybe it's a good show. I watch it. So I'm
(14:51):
sure you watched cop shows. Typically, when when you're talking
to somebody in interview room, I know a lot.
Speaker 6 (14:57):
Of answers here.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
I know that's that's fake. What I always love the
cop shows. You know what I love is when it's
a dark room. There's like a swinging pendulum light and
then I sit in the like low light and something
that's stupid and the window two is the best to
like a two way mirror. I'm sorry, we don't have
a two way bear. And I can turn the lights off.
I can turn the lights off if we want to
go low light. So typically before we bring some of
(15:23):
the interview room, we know, we know a lot of
answers to the questions that we ask. So we're looking
when we ask people questions to see, Okay, are they
telling the truth about the information that they're giving us,
because I already know the answers to a lot of questions. Okay,
because I've I got called out the Nightmare. No, I'm not.
I will never trick you. I will promise you that
(15:44):
I'm going to tell you exactly what happened. Okay. Oh really, yep,
I'm not here to trick you.
Speaker 6 (15:49):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
I got called out the early morning hours of the
twenty second of October. Reference your car being found over
in Hilliard, Okay, okay, So your car was parked on
the side of the street and it had been abandoned.
Speaker 5 (16:03):
There, okay, okay, And where did you say that.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Was over in Hilliard? Yeah, there's a park over there
in the area of Everett in Nevada. I'm not in Nevada,
I'm sorry, Everett in NAPA. There's a park over there,
Rochester Heights Park. It's all there. So anyway, your car
was over there, okay, So you know somebody called it
(16:27):
in abandoned Okay, So obviously the plates in the car
they come back, they come back to you. Okay. So
officers get there and they they end up looking inside
the vehicle. Okay, So what do you think we found
in the vehicle?
Speaker 6 (16:46):
I have no idea.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Okay, see this and what you're at. What do you
think we found in a vehicle?
Speaker 6 (16:57):
What is their weapons or something?
Speaker 2 (16:59):
No? Homicide?
Speaker 6 (17:01):
Right? Okay?
Speaker 2 (17:03):
What do you think we found the vehicle?
Speaker 6 (17:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Well, if I'm a homicide investigation, what do homicide investigators do?
Speaker 4 (17:14):
The only thing I could think of was there a
weapon or something that you use? You said you've found
something in the PA.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
I don't investigate weapons. What do homicide investigators do? What
do we investigate?
Speaker 9 (17:25):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Murders?
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Murders? You you just said one hundred dollars questions? So
what do you think I found in your vehicle? A body? Right? Yep?
And you know what I know from my investigation that
you know that. Okay. So let me tell you, Brenda,
say my first rodeo. I've been doing this thirty six years,
(17:50):
and I know that you exactly know everything about this thing. Okay. Now,
what I want you to do, Brenda is don't dig
yourself into a hole, okay, because you don't want to
go down that road because you don't want to get
yourself caught up in something that At this point, right now,
in this avenue, you have a chance to maybe kind
of get off on a side road and help yourself.
(18:12):
If you stay on the main road, you could be
in a lot of trouble. Okay. I'm trying to give
you an opportunity here to We need to talk about
everything that happened involving this.
Speaker 6 (18:22):
Did you want me to get in the churning? Am
I being accused of murdering?
Speaker 9 (18:27):
No?
Speaker 2 (18:27):
At this point, I'm not accusing you of murder.
Speaker 5 (18:30):
Because I didn't know there was a body in that car.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Okay, But let me tell you this, who do you
think that body was in that car?
Speaker 5 (18:36):
If you had to guess, considering that somebody's missing, possibly Andrew.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
Okay, Okay, and Brenda. We I've developed information, Okay, we've
developed information. I know for a fact that John was involved. Okay,
I know that for a fact. So, like I said,
(19:08):
I'm just looking for you to be honest with me. Okay,
I'm not. I'm not sitting here accusing you of murder.
But what I am saying is you need to be
completely honest with me about what happened because you have
knowledge reference this incident. There's no if sands or butts
about it. I know for a fact that you have knowledge.
So what I need you to do is you need
to sit here and we need to talk, and you
need to tell me the knowledge that you have reference
(19:31):
what occurred. That's what I need from you. John did it?
I know that. Okay, your boyfriend is going to be
arrested shortly, So this is a time for you to
be honest with me about what happened because I know
you have knowledge, right, you know you know what happened. Okay,
(19:55):
I'm not I'm not accusing you of murdering him, but Brenda,
it's it's time to be honest with you. Yes, yes,
And what knowledge do you have with that? Okay that
I'm not going to give you all all what I have, Okay,
to give.
Speaker 5 (20:10):
You the information that you won't tell me anything?
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Well, because you have to understand the problem is this
is the problem. If I sit here and tell you
what I know right then, like I told you before,
the reason I ask questions is to just verify that
what you tell me is either you're telling me the
truth or you're not. If I sit here and tell
you all the information I have about what I know
and why I know it, then if I ask you
(20:32):
a question, you already know everything I told you. I
can't determine whether you're telling me the truth or not. Okay,
So I'm not going to sit here. I can't sit
here and tell you what I know because I just can't.
But I'm trying to help you here, I really am,
because I'm just trying to figure out I get it.
(20:53):
I get how angry John had to be. I understand
as a father, I understand it. This fucker did things
to your daughter that no human being is supposed to
do to daddy's girl. And I understand why your husband
was angry, and I understand why he did what he did. Okay,
but you need to be honest with me about what
(21:16):
you know about this, Okay. I know the car belongs
to you. I know where the car was parked, where
it's at, I know the names, I know the property
where it was at. I know all these things. Okay.
I've been to the property where it was at. I've
been pretty much working twenty four to seven on this
case since the time I rolled up on Friday night
(21:37):
last night and found a body in the in your car.
Huh what it's up above Riverside. I know exactly where
it's at. Okay, I know where it was at. Okay, well,
I know where it's at, and I know where the
car was parked. In fact, there were deputies up on
that property back in March and the car was sitting there. Okay,
So I know. Believe me. I done my homework, Brenda,
(22:01):
and like I said, I'm not trying to be an asshole,
not at all. I told you from the time I
started that I was going to be completely honest with you,
and I have been nothing but honest with you. There
was a body in the back of your car. The
body belongs to Andrew. I know from my investigation that
John killed Andrew and we need to.
Speaker 5 (22:24):
Deal with that.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
I believe me. I have evidence from the car. Okay,
I process the car. People leave trace evidence behind, people
leave other evidence behind. There's biological evidence, there's fingerprints, There's
a whole array of evidence to get left when a
crime occurs. So I have evidence, and I have other things.
(22:48):
Am I going to sit here and tell you everything?
Of course not, because I'm not going to do that.
All I'm asking you, Brenda, is I get it. You're
between a rock and a hard place. I completely understand
that because John is your boyfriend, okay or fiance. I apologize,
and I get here between a rocket a hard place.
But you also have to understand at this point you
(23:09):
don't want to get caught up into this to where
we charge you. Okay. If you have knowledge, which you do,
then all you need to do is be honest with me.
That's it. Be honest with me about what you know
when this occurred, how would occurred. That's all I'm asking you, Brenda,
is just be honest with me. That's it. Okay.
Speaker 6 (23:30):
I do not know there was a dead body in there.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
Well you may not know it was in the car,
but you know that John killed him, and I know
you know that, So I just I just say you
say that. I know that because I talked to a
whole bunch of people, a whole bunch of people. This
wasn't a secret that was well kept amongst some people.
So all I'm saying is, just be honest with me.
I mean, look at this, do you not think that
(23:55):
does Andrew? Andrew's a piece of shit. I get it.
But in the eyes of God, in the eyes of
everything else, you know, we have to make this right
for whatever happened. And there's mitigating circumstances. And I'm going
to talk to John, okay, and I will ask John.
I mean, I get I get the anger, I get
what he did to his daughter. I can understand that stuff. Okay,
(24:16):
I can understand that as a father. As a father,
I don't.
Speaker 10 (24:19):
Think you do unless you've had that walk to walk
in his steps or my steps, would you understand that?
Speaker 6 (24:26):
Well, I can't have your daughter tell you.
Speaker 8 (24:28):
That's what she told us, and there's nothing nobody was doing,
nothing for her, for anybody.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Well, and I guess you're right. I guess the only
thing I can tell you.
Speaker 6 (24:38):
And why haven't there been any follow up?
Speaker 2 (24:42):
Well, it sounds like what you told me was it's
because Stephanie in that I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (24:49):
I understood we made the initial complaint.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Okay, or yeah, right, and then never got contacted. No, Okay,
that's bullshit. I agree you think so. No, I'm totally
with you.
Speaker 8 (25:04):
I didn't know about who then how come I've never
seen you Mark the Young Jones ever?
Speaker 6 (25:09):
Okay, Mark Young Jones. Who's Jones? Well, do you tell me?
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Well, that's something I will look into.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
Please do and I want to know, okay.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
And I will that's my plan.
Speaker 10 (25:18):
You know, because I might have lost it going on, Okay, okay,
because there has been.
Speaker 8 (25:23):
Nobody helping my daughter and then she ended up down
in California got raped again.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Right right, you're right. I've never walked a mile in
your shoes. What I can tell you, as sadly as
a major crimes detective, I've walked miles in other people's
shoes that have went through the same he walked.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
In my shoes. My sho's been a lot longer. I
probably have holes in longer than you walk in your eyes.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
No, you're right, I totally agree with you.
Speaker 8 (25:49):
I've been ripped a few times and I know what
it feels like, and ain't nobody can sit there and
tell me they know what it feels like. And I've
lost the baby for SIDS and my daughter telling me
that she was what she went through, and nobody's gonna
tell me otherwise, right, No.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
I agree, and for that I apologize if I had.
Speaker 8 (26:10):
To bury my baby, you know, and just before all
that shit happened, my mom died, Okay, Dad committed suicide,
brother committed suiticide, sister died.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Drink and drive it right.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
When John left just prior to UH or right after
he lost his job, and then I ended up attempting suicide.
Speaker 10 (26:45):
That was pretty fucked up, right, So all that time
is fucking lost. I don't remember much, right, I almost died,
and i'd get a here in fifty sleeping.
Speaker 6 (26:59):
Bills right when you woke up in ICU with then
let Ric up to me.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Right, he's right after.
Speaker 6 (27:15):
John lost his job, right, cheated on me, right right.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Oh after he disappeared for that time when he lost
his job. Okay, I mean I told you that from
day one, honest with you. I mean, you're sitting here
for a reason. We don't arrest people unless we have evidence.
I mean, I just didn't decide today that I was
going to go out and arrest John just because. I mean,
there's a reason that I arrested you. I've been pretty
(27:47):
much working this thing NonStop since Friday, early morning and
Friday from about I think I started at about two
in the morning and pretty much twenty four to seven.
I've got some sleep, don't get me wrong, but I
been compiling evidence and you know everything else figuring what's
going on. Okay, as a caveat before we delve into it,
(28:09):
I'm gonna tell you Andrew's a fucking piece of shit,
and I understand why. Sometimes things happen to people that
are pieces of shit. It happens, and sometimes good people
like yourself get to the point where, like we talked
about earlier, this is the line in the sand, this
is what you did. You're gonna pay for what you
fucking did. And I'm on that same page with you.
(28:31):
I get it, I get it. I'm a father, I
fucking I completely understand. I understand that in any situation,
there are certain circumstances that you push a person so
far and you do certain things to either that person
or his children. There's gonna be fucking consequences, and I
completely understand that. I just want to tell you that,
(28:52):
you know, I'm sorry that we're meeting under these circumstances.
Let's put it this way, Okay, for that, I apologize.
You're a decent guy. You've worked hard your whole life.
I hate to see you sitting in a police interview room.
I really do. You seem like a nice guy. And
for that, like I said, I'm sorry, but as you
can imagine, you know, once I got cold Friday night. Uh,
(29:16):
you know, I had a job to do and you know,
and that's and that's all I'm doing. Okay, So I'll
be honest with you. And I think sitting here is
as one grown man to another. You didn't I want
to see she's okay, that's Brenda. Well, here's a boisterous
(29:37):
I can see. She's a firestick. I can see. And
she seems like a firestick. Stephanie a lot like her. Yeah,
she's a little firestick. I get it. So, like I said,
(30:02):
you know, I'm gonna be completely honest with you. You
know you didn't expect that car to be found. I
know that when it was found. Do you know what
was in the trunk as well as I do? Okay,
but I know there's extenuating circumstances. And I know you're
not some vicious killer that decided, you know, I'm fucking bored,
I'm just gonna go kill somebody because it's funny, or
it's because it's amusing or whatever. There was a reason
(30:24):
this happened. And I understand that, I truly do, and
I get it. I understand it. I'm a father, I
get it. I've got a daughter. I understand it. But sadly,
I had a job to do. So you know that's
all I'm doing here today. Okay, So I guess what
I'm looking for you is, I just need you to
(30:45):
tell me in your words. I know there's extenuating circumstances.
Did this guy say fuck you? Did you contact him?
Did you try to talk to him? Did something happen?
He was he a fucking smuggler? Was he like a smuggler?
Speaker 9 (31:00):
Up?
Speaker 2 (31:00):
No, I'm taking and I'll stole that damn car. You're
thinking he stole what car? That car? The Honda? Okay, Okay, you.
Speaker 3 (31:09):
Know I thought for a long time we thought I
actually had it, and then you said it didn't bring
this definitely if he should be the h called by
the paramedics coming together because she's getting a wreck so
fast driven tried to pull over.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
Well, John, you know as as I do, that this
is not about him stealing that car. Okay, you know that,
I know that. Well you know what you know as
I know he knows what a was. I do that
his body was in the trunk of that car. You
know that. You know that, and you know, like I said,
I've gathered evidence. There's forensics evidence, there's biological evidence, there's
(31:54):
DNA evidence, there's that's the reason you're sitting in this
room today. Okay, a Manda, man, you killed him. It
is what it is. I get it. He's a fucking
piece of shit. He fucking sex trafficked with your daughter.
He sold her for one thousand fucking dollars, and he's
a piece of shit. I get it. Okay, and I
get there's you know you were angry. I understand that.
(32:16):
I understand as a parent, as a father, I get it.
I understand it. Tell me what led up to it,
what happened, what did he do? Just be honest with
me so I can I can go to a judge
and go, look, this guy's a good guy. He fucking
worked for the county for eighteen years. He's an upstanding guy.
This fucking guy sex trafficked his fucking daughter. Okay, you
(32:39):
can only push a man so far before we draw
that line in the sand and say this isn't fucking right,
This isn't right what he did. My daughter will pay
for this for the rest of her life. It is
not right right, Well, sometimes it is what it is. Okay. Well,
sometimes you didn't judge, and a jury will hear your story.
(33:07):
They'll hear your story. But it's important for you to
tell your story because a jury needs to hear your story.
When a jury is looking at this video, are they
looking at you and going, you know what, this guy
is a prick who is just an asshole and he
shouldn't have done it. Or is it a jury who
listens to your side of the story on this video
and goes, you know what, I got a daughter, I
(33:29):
get it. I understand why this guy did what he did.
I understand it. Okay, I understand it. They need to
hear that from you. They need to hear your side
of the story. It's important for you for what happens
after this. This is your chance. This is your chance
to tell that jury right there what happened and why
this piece of shit got what he deserved. That's all
(33:52):
I'm telling you, man, demand tell your story. Tell me
what happened.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
Well, I'd like to kill him, but no, he stole
the car evidentally because he's in it.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
Well, you killed him, I know that. So what Once again, John,
because I have evidence. I have statements. There's more people,
there's more people than you that know about this. I
don't have you arrested here for no reason. Okay, once again,
I'm just trying to get you to tell that the
people that you'll eventually talk to him from a jury,
(34:29):
what happened. Okay, just tell me what happened. I know
about the property of North. I know that you never
intended for that car to end up in the city's bulkan.
That was got to be a leg And let's be honest,
you had to have an ad ship moment when the
police showed up on your doors, I could tell you where,
so you know, right there when the major crimes detectives,
(34:50):
you walked up and you went they found Andrew's body.
You knew it. And that's all I mean. We're being honest, right,
We're being real men. We walked up and you went taking.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
That and she I really don't know much about.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
It, Brenda isn't. Okay, Well, that's the one thing I
told Brenda too. It's like Brenda, obviously, I mean, I
don't want to get her in trouble. The only way
she would get in trouble is if she knows things
that you told her or she witnessed things you did.
And you're telling me that's not the case. Okay, So
you're telling me that was she involved in the murder? No, okay,
(35:25):
did was she? President? Wasn't even was present with Okay?
So what came? What happened?
Speaker 3 (35:34):
He was gonna rob a friend mine? Okay, after all this,
you know, I said, I said, who are you doing with?
And and told me, and I said, he's bad news, dude.
I should call him up and get him, get him
to come over, you know. Okay. So I come walking
out around the corner and I said, oh, yeah, you know,
(35:59):
and and we sat there and we talked. He lied,
He lied a couple of times, you know, and I
said no, no, no, no, no, no, you don't get
to lie. And then finally he admitted, you know, I
told her as old he worthout, but my daughter didn't
tell me. She got sold for a thousand bucks.
Speaker 11 (36:16):
He helped me, he sold her for a thousand but right,
and and that's still and I said, you're being honest
with me, just like what I said. So so I'm
thinking we can work through this, right, And I'm still
I'm maddered and shipp and I know, why why would you?
Speaker 3 (36:39):
My daughter got a good heart. She wanted to help
you out and this and and then.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
He spit on me. Mm okay yep.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
And and that's when he got zip tied okay, and
uh the sock stuffed in his mouth okay, and uh
and I still, what's it again? And that son, my bitch,
that you get up, get down here, and he said no,
now once you grab me, and he come flying down
(37:10):
and doing ahead. But now I lost my cool, right
went from I'm vieting, now I'm meeting, I'm meeting, I'm
meeting him. And then my hands hurt so bad and
I'm going hammer fist and then and then I fucking
ticking knife out start didn't long know how many times.
It's quite big because he kept fishing, freezing and moving them.
(37:37):
Then it's like, oh, you.
Speaker 2 (37:39):
Know you hear that no way rights.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
God, and you know there's the horrible there's horrible, right
and uh, except you know Joe across the street films
in my house twenty four to seven.
Speaker 12 (37:53):
Okay, so at any point in time, you know you'll see, uh,
that car left right with me, right okay, came back
with me driving it Okay, he was in the drunk
can Oh, he's in the trunk of the haunted.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Kay.
Speaker 3 (38:08):
And then I took out with it, okay, and then jeez,
fucking just where are you get?
Speaker 2 (38:17):
I mean I didn't wanna tell.
Speaker 9 (38:18):
Her, No, I understand, so right, So yeah, I mean so,
but yeah, yeah, no I did, all right, I'm not
proud of it.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
Right, Well, he pushed it, and.
Speaker 3 (38:33):
He's a he cause he wasn't he was gonna live right, nah,
I mean i'mb I would have probably be his ass.
I would have untied him right and let him swing
right then try I could try to you know, right
a stupid ass kid.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
Right, you know, just in this area.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
You know, I'm trying to be fucking cool with him,
and and then he ends up just being a jackass?
Speaker 2 (38:57):
Right? Are you fucking kidding me? Right? So did this
happen then at your house? M No, up at the property?
Where did it happened? At heights? Okay? Now heights? Okay?
And when did it happen? Do you remember the date
or club? I'd think it was a November last year okay, Okay,
(39:23):
it's been about a year. Okay, So you put him
in the trunk of the So it happened out of
Airwa Heights and then you put him in the trunk
car out there? And then where'd you drive the car
to your house? And he'd be more unhappy then? Okay,
So y'all is a little drink it and but anyway, okay, yeah,
(39:43):
so you drive home. She's pissed off cause where the
fuck you been? Right? Right right right? Everything was cool
like whatever, and the okay, where'd you take the car
to over by Miller's one stuff? Your okay? Is that
mister Pierce property Mark Peter? Okay, what's what's some guy? Yeah,
(40:06):
it's probably the same guy. What's on? Let's put it
this way. There was a busy we were at the property.
So how come you chose up there?
Speaker 6 (40:15):
Did you?
Speaker 2 (40:16):
There was another car that was parked that broke down? Okay?
Speaker 3 (40:21):
I knew somebody and and they told me about that,
and I said, well then that car fine sitting there,
so I didn't look out of place.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
Okay. So you parked it there like quarterback in November, okay,
and it's been sitting there ever since. So now the
million dollar question from the back it down? Do you
have any idea? I wondered you know, we were kind
of theorizing. I'm wondering if somebody was out there and
just needed to fucking riot and decided, Hey, what was
(40:53):
there no battery yet?
Speaker 9 (40:55):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (40:55):
Did you take the battery out? Oh when you dumped it?
So I get I'm from what you're saying. You took
the matter of that when nobody fucking drive it, and
somebody was nice to have fucking battery for him.
Speaker 3 (41:04):
That was nice.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
So you never expected this car to show back up? Well,
so I can only imagine, like you said, when we
showed up at your house that Friday, You're like, gotcha. Okay,
So you were saying you got when that Andrew is
going to do a robbery at this guy's place, and
that's what you see, are going to try and steals in.
Speaker 3 (41:26):
And the reason why is he used my phone to
get into his messinger, get into his.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
Facebook, cut into his Google. Okay.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
When he did that, he didn't put.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
Us a password, deleted gotcha.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
So all of a sudden, I'm cooking through my phone,
and all of a sudden, I am now Andrew on Facebook, okay, and.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
I see what he's writing, and really, so you get
wind of what he's gonna do okay, show up? So
now where he was gonna do this? Innar We Heights?
Did you know that person? Or you just carey?
Speaker 3 (42:09):
I knew, I knew.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
Well, I knew Okay, the people of the property, okay?
Was he gonna do like a DoPT rip or we
wanna go dopp? Okay? Do you do you know the
names of the people where that that where this was Mendy?
I think Mendy. Okay. So you got win through basically
utilizing Andrew's face. Then he was gonna do a direct
(42:33):
rip and you said, fuck that, I'm gonna show up.
And then he was believed your own right and ass
was this like a trailer or a house or trailer? Okay? Okay?
So so you were just waiting when he got there, okay,
(42:59):
and then you just around the corner. I bet you
didn't expect to see me, did you? Okay? You know? Gotcha?
Speaker 3 (43:11):
You know?
Speaker 2 (43:11):
And then he tried to die and ship rail gotcha?
So the zip ties where they come from? Did you
bring them with you? You brought them with you?
Speaker 3 (43:27):
Well, I'm not having in the car, oh okay, the
car that got towed, the other Honda that in the
truck that got sold had zip tize in my other
Honda that had zip tize.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
You ever break down, and.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
I've never thought about doing what.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
I did with them? All right, So the car you
drove out there that night was the ninety one Honda
Accord that night, okay, and you had the zip ties.
Did you zip tie him in the house or some time?
Speaker 6 (43:59):
Huh?
Speaker 2 (43:59):
How? Site? Okay? So the confrontation and he was cool
with because we.
Speaker 3 (44:05):
Had already gone through the whole game with him of
yelling and stead of ship and trying to convince him.
I'm not My intention was not to write, but but
it definitely was a one gonna stop a robbery, right,
you know, because you're a piece of ship, right and there,
what what the fuck you think you're gonna admitted? And
(44:26):
then finally he admitted it, right you know. But then
after he admitted it, and I said, well, we're good,
we're working right together.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
Right, cool? Right?
Speaker 3 (44:35):
And I think he might have got a little bit right,
and so he was getting kind of happy, you know,
and I said about I'm still going to zip.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
To you know, Okay. So he put his hands behind
his back, Okay, So he basically lets you do that okay.
Speaker 3 (44:49):
But then when I go and grab him, you know,
and say come on, we can come flying, and last,
dick chapter, when I said, you should have done this
a long time ago, right, this is what you do
at first, right, last, not last?
Speaker 2 (45:03):
At some point he face place right, face.
Speaker 9 (45:08):
Right?
Speaker 2 (45:10):
So when get it tighten? Me? I mean, we're just
gonna like take him outside and kick his ass? What
how come he is it tighten at that point?
Speaker 3 (45:15):
Because when I'm driving with him, oh okay, I didn't
wanted to start attacking me.
Speaker 2 (45:19):
Oh gotcha.
Speaker 6 (45:20):
I wasn't gonna put him in the trunk, right.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
So where were we gonna where? Where was initially? Where
were you gonna take him?
Speaker 3 (45:26):
To take him by his house up forty fourth Binberg? Okay, okay, okay,
my daughter stayed up there.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
With him, right, and I know where he lived, and
I was gonna take him up there, gotcha and do
what with him? Drop him off? Okay? So at that point,
so he's it.
Speaker 3 (45:45):
I wasn't gonna at no point in time, okay, but
I think I'm I'm gonna kill, gotcha.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
So at that point, never killed. He's it tight behind
his back? Okay? Where his feet?
Speaker 6 (45:57):
Is it tight?
Speaker 2 (45:57):
At that point to no, not at that point. So
after you leave with him in.
Speaker 3 (46:02):
The car, no, no, oh no, I got him right there,
cause you know he come flying ahead. But that mean right,
it's on and crafting, gotcha. And then now I'm trying
to stop him in the trump and then he throws
his speed out at me, and then I'm trying to draft.
He's zip tired, and I said, gotcha. No God, he
(46:23):
said you're being stupid, you know, and then he come
lundering on it, and it's like, yeah, what's that fucking idiot?
Speaker 2 (46:31):
Right?
Speaker 3 (46:32):
But if you were to fucking listen to me right
and went and talked tomorrow or any of those other
guys right right, they were told me, I leave mom
something and don't do nothing. Stupid you don't push? I mean,
why why didn't you wanna go there right when I
get along? Or just about everybody right, he butt you
wanna come and do him? Stupid shit?
Speaker 6 (46:52):
How not running?
Speaker 1 (46:54):
No?
Speaker 2 (46:54):
I get it. So when when he got stabbed, was
he in the trunk? Then? Okay? And then obviously today
when you were contacted, you have some knives on you
mm are one of those knives, don't okay? Uh?
Speaker 3 (47:08):
I don't know where any of those knives are, the
knives that you used. I trade one of 'em. I
think let's see one O. Yeah, don't know what kind
of knife was it?
Speaker 2 (47:17):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (47:19):
I like that knife said nationally or right current of
thing that you make sh it's not a kurd jaws,
not a trade it's uh one of the newer ones, like.
Speaker 13 (47:31):
Most of our knives are heavy, right, not a buck No? No,
I don't know, no newer newer gotcha?
Speaker 2 (47:38):
Uh, I don't know. Okay, did you pawn it or
just trade some I just traded? Okay?
Speaker 3 (47:45):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (47:46):
You any any one of the So it sounded like
there's more than one knife. Muh, it is just that one,
just the one okay, okay, So that occurred in the
trunk then, hm, that occurred in the trunk is where.
Speaker 3 (47:59):
You stabbed it?
Speaker 2 (48:00):
Okay? Any and I know you said earlier yet quite
a few times, but you're not sure of the exact
seven seven and we're half about you remember where you
stab him?
Speaker 13 (48:08):
Right the Torso okay, probably if you would have got
a river too, I would think also, right, Okay, it's
saying I mean I don't know that maybe when that
night made it feel like butter.
Speaker 3 (48:19):
It was the strangest feeling. Oh really, I've gotten horrible,
Oh horrible?
Speaker 2 (48:23):
Gotcha is right?
Speaker 3 (48:27):
And then you said earlier, what's out there for a
long it's time that it's just like right, you know,
good If you think that's not gonna change you know,
I'm sorry it is to change you. And it's right,
you know, I mean, am I gonna be U mass murderer?
You know?
Speaker 6 (48:46):
Right?
Speaker 9 (48:46):
Well?
Speaker 3 (48:46):
Right, it's messing with your psyche? Right, said somebody's son.
That somebody's sucking right, brother, that somebody you know what
I mean?
Speaker 2 (48:56):
Right?
Speaker 3 (48:56):
You know that all that shit mean stuff to me?
Speaker 6 (48:59):
Right?
Speaker 2 (48:59):
We really no, And like I said from day one,
I I don't think you're a bad man. I mean
I think you're a man that made some for decisions
exactly like I said, You're a man who's worked your
whole life and you provided and this night you made
some bad.
Speaker 3 (49:18):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
So the people that out there in Airway Heights, did
they see what happened outside?
Speaker 6 (49:24):
So all that.
Speaker 2 (49:25):
Happened outside back behind their house, back behind their house.
So the initial discussion when he first saw you, that
was inside the house where he went, oh no, you're
waiting outside for him. Also, he never got in okay,
So you were waiting for him outside. Did he drive
out their walk or how do you get there? Okay?
So you just kind of stood in the shadows and waited, okay.
(49:47):
And then you were saying earlier your intention when you
first went out there wasn't to kill him. Okay, okay,
So what was your You're gonna stop the robbery, and
then you wanted to talk to him front. I want
to beat his ass? Okay, gotch And so when you
put the ZiT, I don't know if I can beat it.
Speaker 8 (50:04):
Maybe not right.
Speaker 2 (50:05):
So when you put the zip ties on, was your
intention after you got the zip ties on was to
beat his ass? No?
Speaker 3 (50:11):
No, yeah, we were still gonna I was gonna let
him or did you put the just so he wasn't
hitting me while I was driving down the road. Oh,
I wasn't gonna put him. I wasn't gonna put him in.
Speaker 2 (50:21):
Okay, he's gonna be writing, So we planned take him
somewhere else then, yeah, I put that part. Oh, then
we're a part wherever you're gonna go out there and
kick his ass.
Speaker 3 (50:30):
I was gonna go and he's right by his house, gotcha,
you know? Okay, Well, and I probably would have let
him call like his brother or or or his mom
before because because usually I warned people, you know that,
you know this is stupid, don't do it, but let
people hit me, and I've got to go away. That's
(50:51):
how you got because when I'm coming sometimes he's like,
freak out right, okay, sixth grade I ended up strangling
uh friendly, right, But you know, two weeks earlier, I
was standing the night of his house near and everything
not by, everything was cool, and uh, next thing I know,
(51:13):
I can't see s stars right, my head hurt. And
then when I could finally see, my hands got blood
and my head's pounding. And looked back and there's John
Rogers standing there with a bloody rock, laughing, and and
I could I exploded, right. And the next thing I know,
I'm sitting in the principal's office right with my six
(51:35):
curate teacher and they're looking at me like they're really
mean and ugly, and I'm like when they're, oh, you
don't get to do that, and I gonna do what right?
Oh act like you just and uh no serious, I
don't know what happened, right, right, but I strangled and
then there was no one there to pull me off, right, right,
the little kids could the situators.
Speaker 6 (51:58):
Right.
Speaker 2 (51:59):
So when we look in the trunk of the car,
there there was a certain item back there. Obviously there
was the body, but then there was another item back there.
It was a concrete block. Yeah, I supposed to deal
with that. Smash him in the.
Speaker 3 (52:12):
Head with it?
Speaker 2 (52:12):
Okay? When did that? And the sequence before us before
you stab it? Where'd you hit him at in the head?
Didn't knock him out or was.
Speaker 12 (52:20):
He still awake or well, it knocked him out, but
he was still breathing, oh okay, and then you started stabbing.
Speaker 2 (52:29):
Okay, So and I'm sorry. Like I said, these facts
go into my mind a million fucking places. As he's
going in the trunk, he's he's already zip tied because
he put his hands behind his back, and then he
just zipped his feet when he's outside the trunk.
Speaker 3 (52:42):
Or after you got him in, and then you and
because it was a I wouldn't plan on doing nothing.
He was supposed to be riding with me and ring
all the stupid kid gotcha and and then he's lumbering
at me with his feet right, and you know, Hi,
I'm gonna have to get in because I had in
(53:04):
my back off right to hold him up. And then
there you go, right, And I thought about it even
in there, and uh then he started sucking kicking with
the zeven, the zippa, you know, starting.
Speaker 2 (53:18):
Out right, and just escalated. Okay, what was the break
to starting in the trunk? Then?
Speaker 14 (53:24):
Hmm?
Speaker 2 (53:26):
It was laying there in the back. Oh okay, So
it was just laying there, was there, so he grabbed
it and then what'd you do with Well? I threw
it in and oh okay, why is it in the trunk? Okay?
They never got out of the trunk. He never got
once you got him in there, he never got out.
And then there was some stuff around his face. What
(53:47):
was the deal with that? Do you remember sock? The
I guess okay. There was some other stuff like around
his face and that was tip. Oh okay? Was that tape?
Was the deal about how that happened? Well, the tape
was in the car. Oh okay, Like, but he's making
noise and.
Speaker 6 (54:06):
I was.
Speaker 3 (54:09):
Gotcha because then and I chill didn't I wasn't going
to kill him, oh okay, just escalator.
Speaker 2 (54:15):
He kept doing it, stopping at me and ship right
and I'm just gonna stopped. So did the tape go
on in before the break and the stabbing? Okay? And
what kind of tape was it? You strapping dropping tape
like that clear tape and you said that was just
in the car okay? Was it like was it like
(54:38):
an interior of the car the trunk, the trunk in
the trunk okay? And it was like was it like
on a roll or do you remember or was it
like in a dispenser or just a might have been
a small dispenser Okay, Yeah, like I was wind you
buy that have their own dispenser and care gotcha remember
(54:58):
what color the dispenser was? So basically the dispenser okay.
So basically you get him in the trunk, he's zipped
tight in hands, he won't quit being a dumb ass.
You zip tight his feet, you won't shut up. So
you you put a sock in his mouth and then tape,
(55:20):
and then he's still being a dick.
Speaker 3 (55:24):
Luge.
Speaker 2 (55:25):
So that's when you came out. So there's a cinder
block there. You grab the cinder block and like you
just throw it or you hit him or how many
kind of threw it in his head, hits him, but
he's still conscious, not really, he's kind of out of
it then. And then at this point you take the
(55:46):
knife which you have in your pocket or like like
on a clip, in the clip, so you take the knife, boom,
and then just go to town on him. Okay, and
most you think most of the wounds were in the
abdomen and in the neck or I don't think, okay,
so mostly the am. And then at one point it
(56:08):
kind of starts like what you described.
Speaker 3 (56:10):
As the delay horrible, and then you realize this fucking
went farther than I thought.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
Well, yeah, it's just like.
Speaker 3 (56:22):
Like I said, I just sat there and just sat there.
That's why I was always man, because I didn't come home.
Speaker 2 (56:27):
I just got you the last time you were actually
up at the property. I don't think I ever went
back up oh after that day, okay, gotcha. So you
kind of had talked about maybe putting a car up,
and I think you said ponder or priest or somewhere
up in that area, but I just never came to
never came.
Speaker 3 (56:47):
Yeah, because all of a sudden, like I said, I
had to tell one person and he told somebody else,
you know, gotcha?
Speaker 2 (56:56):
Is he going to say more than somebody?
Speaker 6 (56:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (56:58):
My head started swimming. No, what do you what are
you gonna do? I mean, I guess I could go
as a murder murders.
Speaker 2 (57:13):
There's some people that there's some people that google it. Yeah,
that was a big remember that big, solid, fucking nightmare.
Speaker 3 (57:24):
And the whole fucking my whole life ever since then
has been nothing better than nightmare.
Speaker 2 (57:28):
Again, Well, I can't imagine you can wait for this
foot to drop.
Speaker 3 (57:32):
Well maybe it's a relief, but anyway, but it changes you,
it doesn't it changes everything?
Speaker 2 (57:38):
So right, So did did Branda ever find out what
had happened? Okay, so she's in the dark. Are you
currently aready taking any medications at all?
Speaker 9 (57:47):
John?
Speaker 2 (57:47):
You know? Okay? And then obviously you were all, oh okay,
and you worked for the county, said like seventeen eighteen
years So when when this event happened in November of
last year? We used to working for the county? No, okay,
all right?
Speaker 3 (58:04):
You know?
Speaker 2 (58:05):
And and that night that this happened, were you drinking
or doing drugs that night?
Speaker 3 (58:11):
Now?
Speaker 2 (58:12):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (58:13):
So well.
Speaker 2 (58:15):
I wasn't drinking you okay?
Speaker 3 (58:16):
I've I've only recently started even dabbling in it because
there's as a danger zone, right you know, I just
have a couple of beers every now and then. Gotcha,
But I may have smoked some mets or were you
know dead ones and pot you know?
Speaker 2 (58:33):
Do you remember that night if you specifically did or no,
that's I.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
I was smoking it every day, so okay, I was
smoking Okay, gotcha?
Speaker 2 (58:45):
So any other thing they got good? When did you
get off that? There's one thing good good for.
Speaker 3 (58:51):
You me and her good.
Speaker 2 (58:52):
She was doing it too, and and the only reason
why she did it was just because I didn't. And
I'll let you guys danger yep, thank you?
Speaker 3 (59:02):

Speaker 2 (59:11):

Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
