The mic sits still, the room is quiet,
Where once the words would ebb and flow,
A voice that sparked a vibrant riot,
Now gently fades, prepared to go. The episodes, like chapters told,
Have carried thoughts through distant ears,
With laughter, wisdom, stories bold,
Across the months, the weeks, the years. But every journey finds its end,
And now the time has come to part,
To say farewell, like leaving friends,
With gratitude within the heart. The final sign-off, soft and clear,
A closing line, a voice of peace,
No need for sadness, doubt, or fear,
Just memories that never cease. For though the podcast’s tune may fade,
Its echoes linger in the mind,
The stories shared, the moments made,
Will last beyond, a gift enshrined. So with a smile, the host steps down,
The mic unplugged, the journey done,
A podcaster without the crown,
Yet knowing they have truly won.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Hello everyone. Right at the bat, I think it's important
to note that we do pre record the episodes in advance,
since we're not talking about you know, current topics or
anything that's really important. It's more evergreen content that we
can you know, we can record three or four at

(01:20):
a time and just kind of go whenever we want,
like whenever the schedule allows. It's not like going live
or anything like that. Even though I do record it
live to tape, it is four to five weeks out.
This episode, however, is recent. There's been a loss in

(01:48):
the family. So I have decided to take a year
off from the show. Also, Judge decided to you know,
focus on his writing since he knew I was going
to take a break. And you know, I'm going to
take some time to take all six hundred episodes of

(02:15):
the podcast, counting this one, the big six hundred, me
me leaving, and then I'm going to push everything onto
YouTube and just kind of clean up, you know. I mean,
I have shows that I have ten year old, well, no,
twenty thirteen, so I have, you know, I have old

(02:36):
episodes that you know, they're fine. The equipment's not what
it used to be. Even today, I'm recording on different
equipment than I usually do, just because I kind of
trying to get our things together, you know, trying to
get everything back where it needs to be for life

(02:57):
moving forward. So you know, we just gotta keep moving forward.
That's what we have to do, right And you know,
during this time, I'll try to be as productive as possible.
I'll try different things. I know we've been having a
lot of fun on the show this year, and I

(03:18):
feel like I still have things I want to talk about,
but I want to be as myself as I can be.
And I think you know, during times of loss or tragedy,
we always change a little bit, right. I don't want

(03:40):
to change too much, but odds are there'll be some change.
But that's just that's just the way it is. So
first of all, thank you for listening all these years.

(04:04):
If you're if you're a newer person, I apologize. Then
I'm off to re edit ten year old podcast for
the next year. And it's going to take a while
because I wanted to make it sound nice. I want
to put it on the YouTube channel. If you haven't
been on the YouTube, it's you know, it's fine. It's

(04:26):
a rebel headspace on YouTube, which will be the the
channel name for the podcast next year, and just kind
of just kind of the way things are. That's that's
the road we're going to go. So the death of
Ranger Ryan is upon us. So we have new horizons

(04:53):
ahead of us. And I hope, you know, maybe maybe
pushing the show on YouTube will bring in some new folk.
If not, you know, I'm just I'll do some short,
little quippie episodes with me me only. I'm assuming even
though the judge and I do you know, during especially

(05:16):
during the past month, have been making sure to keep
in contact. But you know, this is we've been through
this before here in the show. You know, I've I've
had to change things up quite a bit, and I
think when I put all these together, I think you'll
notice that, you know, we'll have a season for every

(05:39):
time somebody quits, or every time a baby is born
or whatever. You know, something something happens to make life
too hectic to do the show, and I do apologize
for that. I hope, I hope next year I can
come back and have newer content for you, something fresh,

(06:03):
a new name, a new outlook on life, and just
a little bit more appreciative that you know, I have
the audience that I do have, and I'm hoping that
I'll talk to you later on, and I understand if

(06:25):
you can't. It's a long commitment, you know, somebody taking
off a year to get their affairs in order. But
I got to do what I gotta do. And great
shows out there. Make sure to listen to all the
independent voices that are on your podcast app. It's not

(06:50):
always about the highest production value or even the most
subscribers or the celebrity of the indi individual, but sometimes
it's just you know, you know, I feel like we
have a pretty close relationship my audience and I because
I'm just kind of open about everything and hopefully, hopefully

(07:13):
hopefully stick around. I think it's important to acknowledge my
first podcast and wish everyone good gaming out there. Those
of you that we're around in twenty thirteen for the
Liquid Gamer Podcast and for all of our new listeners,
thank you farewell, fellow Rangers.
