Speaker 1 (00:02):
All right, let's uh get this shoe on the road,
shall we? Yeah, I get my seat douts. Oh oh,
all right, wonderful. Well this is different. I'm recording this

(00:29):
in the morning, so I'm sure I sound a little congested,
but that's that's me. That's me in the morning, congested.
It's raining, it's early as can be, and uh it's Halloween,

(00:59):
so that's exciting. All right. So this morning, hopefully my
hopefully my voice gets better. I have I have a
water here today I want to talk about Halloween movies.

(01:24):
Let me get a drink of water. It'd be better
if it was sparkling, but whatever, And it's raining. This
is gonna be a train wreck episode. My voice is shot,

(01:45):
I'm tired, and it's raining, and it's garbage night. So
I'm gonna go around this. It's dark, it's horrible. It's

(02:06):
a perfect setting for a Halloween movie. Not a lot
of Halloween movies take place in the rain, now, so
I guess that would kind of thrown off. Well, this
explains why I don't do morning shows. I don't know.

(02:27):
I might have to not do shows in the rain either.
I think we're really gonna have to figure this out.
We're doing it live. We're gonna figure it out live.
Oh I can't stand driving in the rain in the dark,

(02:52):
Sony who When I Every Halloween, I tend to binge
watch a bunch of horror movies, things I haven't seen,
things that no one will watch with me. And this year,

(03:20):
this month, this October, I decided to watch all of
the Conjuring films because why not. So in total, I
watched all the Annabell's, all the Nuns, all the Conjurings.

(03:46):
Then I also watched The Curse of Lo Lorna, which
I guess is somehow part of the Conjuring verse. I
don't know. I'm not really sure the I don't see
how it plays out. But similar vibes, yeah, definitely definitely
similar vibes. I just know it popped up is like

(04:09):
part of it. So I did that. That was fun.
I will say that usually I try to watch American
horror story as well, but I did not have a chance.

(04:32):
I guess I could, and I really don't have the
time because October is over. Oh my gosh, this is
getting frustrating with the windshow wipers. I understand if you
did not listen past this point, I apologize. I just

(04:58):
want to get I gotta go to the office A
I have a what is this, Oh, it's a shower seat.
I have to drop off in a shower seat. Let's
go record. I don't feel great. I don't he the boy. Uh,

(05:19):
but it was like I'm recording, come heck or high water.
I'm recording. Cars are a lot more aggressive too in
the morning. Jeez. So I want to go over horror

(05:44):
movies today, Halloween movies maybe even because let's face it,
not all horror movies are, you know, Halloween themed? Right?
I feel like John Carpenter did it the most obvious
and then everybody else just kind of hinted. And Halloween.

(06:09):
We usually watch HEV Halloween in the family, even though
it's it's got its moments, but that it's inappropriate. We
used to watch things like Halloween Town, which is a

(06:30):
Disney Channel thing throwback we watch for the kids. We
used to watch Halloween Town. There's the one with a mummy.
I think it's called like under Wraps or something, and
then that's the kids portion. My wife only watches scream films,

(06:57):
and we watched the New Final Desk a Nation when
it came out last year. I think it was last year.
It's been kind of a long year, to be fair,
when you're not when you're just doing work in housework

(07:18):
and then parent work, school work, I guess you could
say even and nothing else going on. I mean, it's
it's a long year. I think because of the weather.

(07:40):
I'm gonna cut this episode a little short because it's
getting a little it's getting more intense and it's getting
more irritating to listen to. So we'll see what happens.
I'm pretty sure supposed to write until seven o'clock tonight,

(08:06):
but I do want to get something out there today
because it's Halloween and I have a history of releasing
episodes on holidays, but I feel like this one is
We're gonna have a rain delay, which I guess is

(08:28):
something I need to plan for in the future, actually
because I personally I need to be able to see,
so I have to have the wind show wipers. But
then this is see it's not. I don't know how
it's coming off on the audio. I'm sure it's I'm

(08:51):
sure it's quite irritated. And also the traffic is killing me.
So maybe mornings are not the best. Maybe they're not
the best option for me. My head's on the game.
I don't have coffee until I get to work, so

(09:15):
I don't have that relaxation of the throat from hot
liquid going on. And also my allergies are not great,
and I take my Aleggra in the morning and then

(09:36):
midday evening I'm fine. I don't know, but that's what
this is. This is, uh, you know, we're trying to
do a new type of show. We gotta figure out,
uh the wrinkles in the sheet before we put on
the bed. You know, I don't think that's an actual thing.

(09:57):
I just kind of came up with morning Brain. But
I did want to wish everyone a happy Halloween. I'm
on a stop light. Something should be less aggressive here.
Please do me a favorite and stay safe out there.

(10:17):
I know that Halloween can be fun, but you know
some people take it to the next level, so please
be careful out there, just because of driving and stuff.
Not like nothing weird ten minutes on a holiday. I

(10:38):
mean that's something, you know. I might I might be
back Monday. I might be back Wednesday, might be back
next Friday. I don't know. I don't know we're back.
But when I do come back. I'll make sure to

(10:59):
let you know hosting an episode. If you'd like, you
can find me on YouTube at rebel headspace. You can
what else x, but I'm never on it. That's about it,

(11:23):
all right, Learning curve, everyone learning curve. I'm too congested,
the weather's too bad, and the roads are not great
because people are more aggressive in the morning. So I
would consider this a fail. I'm very brief fail, but

(11:47):
I will not disappoint. I will include a artificial intelligent,
artificially intelligent I'm not intelligent all today, artificially intelligent song
to in the show and make sure that it's deemed appropriately.

(12:08):
Have a happy Halloween. We'll talk to you next time.
Thank you for listening, and as always, good afternoon, good evening,
and good gaming.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Go surrising.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
It's Halloween night, pumpkins.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Well, we were feeling all right, dressing up costumes to
the street.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
Grab your crew, it's time with a feast.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Trade your treating.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Yeah, we'll get a share.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Candies first s flying through the airs. So happy Halloween.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Don't you five?

Speaker 3 (12:43):
Stay safe tonight.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Let's spread the chairs foof Keith on the wits. Who's
that a great?

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Great monsters looking here? The biddle screens, haunted houses, both
filling our dreams. Bobby for apples, lapt Us in the air.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Dance with schools.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
We got no cares, which is biding. I saw a
shining right join the magic. Let's body tonight. I'm so
happy Halloween. Don't you feel Stay safe tonight?

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Let's birth the Cheer who spookee for the wits, whoa
what'll celebret grad?

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Watch the moonlight, It's all ago friends, laughter, a loudly show,
make a memory under the right, cheers to Halloween. Let's
flat to the night. So happy Halloween, don't you hear?
Stay say tonight?

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Let's spread The cheer Spookeeper, the Witch who celebrate great?

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Hey remember me? We were just we were just talking.
I stopped and got a soda at a gas station,
and I feel like I feel like I didn't talk much.

(14:56):
I'm just throwing a bunch of music, you know those
plan But I was like, no, it's Halloween. It's Halloween.
So let's do a throwback to what I used to
do at the end of my episodes, which was the
after credits scene. So I used to do a show

(15:17):
called Film Gauge. It was a movie podcast, and I
did a show like a movie review, and then I
played music similar to this, and then I want to
have an after credit scene where I'd keep talking and
then I'd play more music again. I think that's what

(15:40):
I'm gonna do tonight. It's a special day Halloween for me.
I proposed on Halloween. My granted this was I've been
with my wife for twenty two years, I guess, but

(16:01):
I waited very long to propose, just saying it too long.
Some might say too long, some might say the longest.
And anyone's waited ever, I don't know. But proposed on Halloween.
Halloween's you know, it's a big I think it's a

(16:23):
big holiday for my family. We have several family friends
that don't celebrate. I think I put them in air
quotes while I'm driving just because the rains stopped too.
So it's kind of like best of both worlds for
the after credit. Soon tonight, we got some people. I

(16:47):
think I talked about it, right, I don't remember. I
was like in a daze. Tonight we got some people
coming over before going out trigg or treating. So there's
that we have the I thought about micing it, but
I'm like, who knows how I could. Who knows what

(17:11):
I'm gonna say. Let's be honest, because I don't know.
I have no idea what I'm gonna say. We have
a lot of people that don't celebrate, but we're you know,
I feel like we've promoted it as a community holiday.
Uh and just kind of you know, this is this

(17:35):
is about getting to know your neighbors. This is about
getting to know your classmates. For my kids, right when
they get to go out, I mean, this is that's
what it's about. You know, Candy is also a secondary
and then all the occult stuff that people claim that's
a that's closer to the bottom. I don't really consider

(17:58):
this an evil holiday. It's just hanging out, you know,
and then we get the party on Saturday. I thought
about miking me up there too, but jeez, I only
I think it's important to note I only drink once

(18:23):
or twice a year. When I say drink, I mean, like,
whoo the rank I rank twice a year. There might
be there might be a rough week where I'm just like,
you know, let's get a let's get a little thing going.

(18:47):
But typically it's not my thing. But micing me up
on one of the two nights I drank. Is gonna
be that's a rough that's a rough one. That's a
rough one. I don't know where this show is going. Okay,
let me be completely clear. I do the show at

(19:11):
random hours of the day, you know, I uh, I
really have no topic. I tried. I've tried to get
the show into YouTube. I did finally. By the way,
I finally got the show onto YouTube. And it's not

(19:33):
a great feed just because it first of all, it
takes me too long, right, and it's my phone. Fell
Is that gonna be a problem? Is this still connected?
If it isn't, Like I said, We're just gonna roll
with it. I wonder if I can. Let's see, I

(20:01):
looks like I'm still recording. Okay, I'm still recording. All right? Wow?
What a mess? What a mess? What was it talking about? Oh?
YouTube is like I'm trying to think of it's worth it,
you know, because when you're trying to render a thirty

(20:22):
to forty minute video, I mean, it takes a while.
So like today, for example, okay, I'm going to the office, right,
it's early, very early in the morning. I throw the

(20:43):
audio files from my phone into the dropbox. I edit
the video and the music, well, create the music and
the music because I create the music based off the topics.
Today is just gonna be Halloween. I honestly should have
made should have made it ahead of time. And then

(21:04):
I render the MP three and I can usually get
the show out within a half hour. So the plan, well,
I what I try to do is I get to
the office at eight Eastern time, and then is that
gonna go? I have the show uploaded by eight thirty,

(21:31):
eight forty, but I have it scheduled to release at nine,
and that's you know, that's the plan for today, right,
And if I get off a little bit earlier than
most people, So I'm driving home from I work eight
to four, not nine to five. So when I do

(21:52):
the show on the drive home, I leave the house,
or I leave the house, I leave the office today
I left them. I leave the opposite four record it,
get home by four thirty, get everything done we've already
talked about, and have it scheduled to release at five

(22:13):
five pm Eastern time. And that's pretty much the schedule
I had, right. Even though I'm kind of wishy washy,
I definitely need to reduce the amount of times I
go to the office just because it's kind of cold

(22:38):
and the weather kind of I mean, I don't like
driving at how the thing about the wind, like this
fall winter thing. Right, So right now I'm driving to
work and it is pitch black. And if I had

(22:58):
a long day at work where I'm there till five something,
when I get home, it's pitch black. So that messes
with your head a little. I've always wanted to be
a part of the Alaskan darkness that I've always wanted

(23:22):
to be there for that. But then the more you
think about it, it's like, oh, lose because when I'm working,
because I work at home home on the days I'm
not when you don't have an episode, and the consistency
of the release of this show is going to be

(23:43):
pretty random, granted no weekends that I'm aware of. And then,
of course I could always lose my job. That happened
one season. I'm not sure if anybody remembers that, but
I lost my job. I got laid off in the

(24:04):
middle of middle of a season. So the whole topic
for every episode was an update on the job hunt.
That was fun, good times, good times, so anyway, this
show is experimental. Let's do that. Let's say that it's

(24:25):
an experimental show with a questionable future. I did invite
JT to the Halloween party, so maybe if he shows up,
I can be like her, we should do a podcast again.

(24:49):
And he goes, yeah, we should do a podcast again.
I don't know. I don't know what the future holds.
I don't know. I really don't, but I do know
that I am at work all right. I am running
a little late today because I ran to the gas station,

(25:11):
so I do have to run in and log in
and all that jazz. But thanks for tuning in for
the after credits scene sequence section of the program. Please
have a happy and safe Halloween. Make sure to follow
me on YouTube x and all that stuff I mentioned previously,

(25:34):
just because my voice is a little better after that water,
so I can actually say it. It's good, all right,
And for anybody who knows what I'm talking about, you
can find me on Zora ZrI as well rebel Headspace,

(25:55):
where I am uploading all of the YouTube versions of
the podcast. Little bonus there for those who know what
I'm talking about, And if you don't completely understand, that
will be a topic for another day. As always, good evening,
good night, and good gaming.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
