(00:04):
Today, I'm Wes and welcome toUnsuppressed. If you guys a goat with
another episode, we're gonna talk aboutgear again because it's popular. That's awesome.
Is the last Avery's not here. We're gonna have fun. Yeah,
and are doing their best to puttogether a very good blooper reel for us.
So thank you for that. Well, I wanted to help Wes take
(00:24):
the edge off the room, allright, you know, as normally we
get really serious and today we're doing, yeah, the edge off the room.
Normal people use a sock, West, I know, God forbid we
talk about starting a fire with twosticks. Hold on, you know what,
speaking of grabbing your favorite sock, did everybody watched the Deadpool three?
I did the Devil three trailer.Yeah, so it looks absolutely that looks
(00:47):
gonna be fun. I mean, look, when he said I understand now
I'm Marvel Jesus, I would crackthe fuck up because I was like,
yeah, I don't know if i'dhave said that, because you know,
I do have belief systems. Butyou know what, that's the only thing
out of the Super Bowl I saw, and Taylor Swift is fucking annoying.
I'm tired of seeing that fucking bitchpop up on everything. Yeah, think
of it her music. It's noumping up on my random playlist on YouTube
(01:11):
music. And I'm like on Facebook, Taylor Swift, Tyler Swift, Hey,
but I had to don't eat cows. I had a playlist that was
like hip hop, and I waslistening today as I was driving between grocery
stores and all of a sudden,a Taylor Swift song comes on, and
I'm like, I can't get awayfrom her. Look, she's ever bought
that. I was the only reasonI cared I had any feeling about who
won the Super Bowl was because Iwanted to sing if if the Niners would
(01:34):
have won, I'd have been like, you will never ever ever win a
Super Bowl together. That's what Iwas going to be singing all the time.
But instead they were like, Nope. It's funny was I was at
the gym the other day and Ijumped on the treadmill for a little bit,
and they were playing a repeat ofthe last time those two teams met
in the Super Bowl. It wasfifty four or whatever it was back in
like twenty two years ago, twentytwenty whatever it was, and I thought
(01:57):
it was this year's Super Bowl becausethey were in the same uniforms. But
then I looked at the center.I was like, wait, wait,
wit the different dude, Yeah, the fifty yard line and logo is different,
but the game was going about thesame. It's like, oh yeah,
but clearly there was probably a lotof devil shit going on. So
it knows kids, So you knowwhat, we don't talk about that shit
on this show. We talked aboutbullets and gear and all that. So
(02:19):
and last week Wes had a greatidea. The great idea was let's talk
about kit and I was like, fuck yeah, bro, and Avery was
all like, yeah, let's talkabout sticks. But then we started talking
about gear because we started running throughstuff like yeah, fires, I was
asleep. You were sleeping because youwere not feeling well. But right,
so that's okay. Pat, hedidn't he didn't join us for the regular
(02:40):
shows, so we just had athree something without you. Yeah we did.
We did well. It was allman on man action. And the
thing is is that the conversation thatensued we started getting into the nuts and
bolts of a lot of of actualkit, Like you're like, hey,
why would you want this or whateveror what we use. So because Avery's
moving right now, he's moving backto the People's Republic of I believe it
(03:01):
Oregon Washington of Washington. Whoa,he's actually going to Hell. I think
he's moving up damn near near FortLewis because that's where oh yeah, the
place where he's going to be.He's going to be working for so outstanding
for him, and he's going todo really well where he's going. He's
going to do really well where he'sgoing. But the one thing he can't
do tonight is be able to giveus a little bit of time because he's
(03:23):
obviously deep in the packing game.Uh oh yeah, one way. So
and he's moving with a woman,so fucking nuts, you know. So
we're going to start running we kindof I think we finally found our voice,
and I think the voices is we'regoing to start talking about products that
we use, things that we're usingon the range, things that we're using,
(03:43):
how easy it is to use shit, I mean, like how often
you know, like you know,Pat's rimming his microphone. It's a thing,
always a reason, right, Soin the past, like when we
did Conspira Effect, Wes and Iusually talk about contemporary objects. Just talk
about what's going on. Well,we're talking about we're talking about ship.
Dude. You're doing some massive blowjob work there, all right, So
(04:05):
fucking saked b microphone spend on yourmicrophone, dude. He's a squirter,
all right. So alright, soanyway, that's not p you know what,
We're gonna get the bottom of it. We're gonna get at the bottom
of that with a little bit ofasparagus. So this is the best part.
(04:27):
If you're just watching Wes's video feed, he is just looking like we've
gone off the rails already. Soyeah, you guys had a three last
week that business talking up lung butter. Yeah, things are fucking good.
I'm just here going like this iswhy we're only a podcast because know one
could be professional on here. No, we're totally professional. Look at this,
Look at the professionalism we have.We actually his microphone, well you
(04:50):
know what that sells in certain states. I mean, I'm saying, that's
big Montana. What do you expectme to do? What X videos is
it? Tell you? Man?It express VPN. I wish that had
sponsor us. They sponsor everybody else. At those guns well, I'll say
this that last weekend you and Iwere able to hit the range, and
I know you have some good footage. I made some pretty good joke footage.
(05:13):
Yeah, and I do have anInstagram. I don't know if should
I should I actually tell people whatmy Instagram is. If you want to,
I mean, they're going to peekinto your life. Well, well
you're going to see racing and shooting. That's basically what you're going to see.
That's fun, that's fun fun.So it's just random videos of me
harassing Clyde in the studio. Ifigured yours is a harassing young woman on
(05:36):
tak Yeah. Now, honestly, all the things that post up on my
Instagram were things that it takes frommy Facebook. I post on Facebook and
then Instagram just like transfers some melverand I go, okay, I don't
care. What I'm going to dois I'm going to look well, I
don't even know what my Instagram nameis. Oh okay, so this is
(05:58):
going to be really telling. You'llprobably find out who I am. Yeah,
mine's Mine's just my my Xbox gameertag. And that was too lazy.
It's just bigfoot zero f psc ohyeah, okay, old there,
softoom. I used to be honestthis PSC So yeah, you guys can
look me up if you want tofollow me in Instagram. I don't mind
if you follow me. I willnot accept personal requests on my so my
(06:21):
Facebook is personal. So I willnot request or not accept requests to be
friends on Facebook unless I know you, either as a professional contact or through
like family friends. I don't watchyou. Motherfucker's talking to me anyway.
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, Ihave people want to follow me on Instagram.
I don't. I don't really care. I don't even follow me.
(06:41):
I'll block you. Most follow onthe things they follow nowhere Montana for a
fucking reason, y'all. Yeah.I usually just follow like pages like there's
like the clown World page. Ifollow that because I just they post all
the random ship that happens in theworld. Or there's the one that's constantly
as a PDX real I follow them. Or I used to follow all the
the like Instagram thoughts, and thenI was like, this is a complete
(07:01):
waste of time. So I stoppedfollowing half naked women on Instagram because it's
like, I have too many picturesof my kid on Instagram. Well just
one, but it's it's when he'swearing all my kit for a Halloween.
But yeah, I'm gonna go ahead. I find someone's page and they have
a bunch of videos I think arefunny, then I'll just I'll follow them
because yeah, I like to laugh. Yeah all right, so fuck that,
(07:25):
let's talk about what's relevant here. We're talking about gear because gear is
a difference between you looking cool andhaving really cool Instagram photos and then looking
like a poor That's really what itcomes down to. Actually, it's just
you know, I was kind ofhappy with how I looked on video yesterday.
Yeah you look good man. Buthere's the thing. We were larperating.
That's what we were doing. Wewere shooting mill standards and doing those
(07:46):
type of drills because I do pulla lot of the drill base from from
like past experience. And then alsocurrent standards are being utilized by Tier two
elements because you don't even know whata fucking Tier one elements doing, but
Tier two they produce, like theirstandards, the shit that they'll they'll show
it like what they're doing so youcan just copy it. Hey, you're
(08:07):
at this business, you already knowwhat the markofs are, so you're like,
oh, we'll try that and seehow we do well. I think
I think i'd like to start ratherthan just going gear. But because we
always talk about training value, right, we talk about training valua, well,
gear is also something that provides andhelps manifest a better level of training
value. But I think before youeven talk about gear, I'm kind of
(08:31):
taking this different direction. So thiswas completely fucking unscripted. Just came to
me. If you set up yourtraining day with intent, instead of just
going out to the range and sayingI'm just gonna go shoot some bullets,
you know, you set a standard'relike, I'm gonna run these drills.
You create a diary, you createa composition book, which I do do
(08:54):
have one, and then you havea round count for that day, and
you stick to that round count. You will not waste rounds, you will
get maximum training value, and thenyou can focus on what you want to
achieve by doing that. So ifit's a situation you say, hey,
I'm gonna do a bill drill, which would be six rounds center mass,
you establish your distance twenty one feet, Okay, that's that's legit. And
(09:15):
then you're gonna make a transition. You're gonna shoot two rounds of the face,
right, so you're gonna go sixrounds rifle to the center mass.
You're gonna make a transition nice andclean. You're gonna drive out. You
send two rounds of the face, and then you're gonna but you're gonna prep
your mags six six six two twotwo. So now you've got eighteen rounds
for rifle, you have six roundspistol. You're always gonna have a bolt
open or a bolt lock scenario onyour final round, right, so there's
(09:39):
no chance of an incidental discharge inthe event that you don't manipulate the safety
or somebody who's in the training pipelinewith you, who's working with you,
who may not be up to speed, may not have the manual arms quite
locked down. You want to dothose things because it's common sense. It
sets you up for success, andit allows the person to get a rep
and you know it's going to bea clean, safe rep. Well,
it also means that you're gonna haveto manipulate all your kit every time reloading,
(10:03):
coming up with stuff every time, and you're not also running around with
half loaded bags, full loaded mags. You go reset, you go walk
back to your table, you reloadfor your next kit setup. Right,
so now you're breaking your shooting oodleloop. You're gonna go back over,
You're gonna reload, get back intothat, and you're gonna learn how to
come in and out of the shootingphase and focus. So it's serious smoking
(10:24):
joke, serious smoking joke. Butthe smoking joke is you bullshit while you're
loading and you know what the thingis. Then you come up with your
own mantra when you're talking to aguy, like say if I said,
hey, Pat, you're gonna shoot. You're gonna shoot six plus two six
inner mass rifle, transition two roundsto the hip box for the head shooter.
Do you understand the course of fire? Yes? I do. Tell
(10:46):
me what it is. They tellit back to You only have to do
it once, and there's usually likeoh shit, okay, wait a minute,
do I do six and two?Yep, six and two six this
da da da da, Okay, you're gonna go on touch or on beep
ka shooter. Are you prepared?Yep sound beep bang bang bang bank bank.
That is a great way to starttraining. Everybody into a thought process.
(11:07):
You're not fucking around. So thenyou go to gear and that's where
I just wanted to give you guysan insight on the way I approach training
and shooting, because basically it's anytype of any type of behavior, any
type of training, because if you'redoing reps, if you're doing CQB reps
or whatever with a team, there'sa lot more wrinkles there, so you
can get more you can get morereps in, and you get more reps
(11:30):
in without training saturation or like youjust get grossly overloaded because you could slow
it down. Shooting, I thinkyou get you get a point of return
on value, and I tend toshoot sixty rounds pistol, sixty rounds rifle.
That's like the sweet spot where it'slike, all of a sudden,
I start burning rounds. Otherwise it'snot like I'm getting any better. I'd
rather train. I'd rather train moreoften with a lower round count and then
(11:54):
augment it with dry fire than Iwould to be like I'm gonna shoot three
hundred rounds of it and then notshoot for three months. That's not a
good plan. Six rounds center massbill drill plus two to the face pistols
two rounds of the face on beat. Are you ready yep? Stand by
(12:15):
h shoot ready yep? Okay, okay, shot ready Ready? Nice n
(13:28):
sixteen Nice Wes is gonna probably havesome links to videos that are pretty fucking
cool. I'm not gonna lie. They turned out really nice. West shoots
really good video. I'll edit themin. Okay, I'll splash there underneath,
I'll have the video play over thetop of you talking, or I'll
just and that's me doing yours.Truly, I'm sending some basic rounds and
West has a couple and we didsome We did some basic training stuff.
(13:52):
So those of you who are justlistening to the audio only podcast just enjoy
the gun shooting a SMR. Yeah. So add to what Bill said is
learn the drill, then add thetimer to get your speed going later.
You're not going to add speed tosomething you don't understand or fully comprehend with
your body. You may know itmentally, but your body physically has to
(14:16):
learn to take the time to learnthe drills you're doing first, and then
yeah, dark because if you tryto do it right off the gate,
you're going to fucking hurt yourself.Yeah yeah, yeah, I did happen.
Whether you fall or you shoot yourselfor somebody, just discharging early is
never a good idea. Okay, that's all I got to say. Just
that's how you get the worst STDever that's called kids exactly. So so
(14:41):
yeah, your pull up game betterbe strong, all right. So but
but here's difference. A lot ofpeople that you you can't go to prison
for accidentally dropping aids. Really that'sfucked up, all right anyway? So
yeah, okay, well yeah, but I just watched the Mister and Missus
Smith and they ruined it, sofuck that guy, all right anyway,
(15:01):
So with that mind prize, Withthat in mind, so let's start.
Let's start with the basics. Uh, carrier, so how about this?
How about this? How about wepremise that builds and ice kit are based
around vehicular operations, not lung hikessustainment. It is writing in fucking vehicles,
(15:24):
dismounting, shooting, getting back inand leaving YEP or or site so
site protection, site protection, you'removing to a place, you're doing hasty
investigation. Yeah, that's that wasthe intense Longer times is a three day
pack that goes over the care andwe'll get into that. Got that's so
(15:46):
let's start with because and you'll alsonotice that we tend to keep a slick
pack a slick back but I dohave two integratable backpacks. The way I
do it, well it's a fuckoh full screen Jesus. Yeah, it's
a little bright. But yeah,so I am a big fan of Pharaoh
stuff because it's not overly expensive. It's gotten more expensive since they got kind
(16:07):
of went the high table, butit's super comfortable. And there are people
that say you have to spend abunch of money on a plate carrier to
get something reasonable quality. The fpFCPC five is extremely expensive for what it
is, in my opinion, aslickster. And then there's a cover you
can get. Basically, you getthe essentially a FCPC for the for the
(16:33):
lower price, and it costs nothingmore. It's very close, okay,
and it does everything you need todo. Which one you WoT me to
take a look at a little bitcloud Just go to the slicksture with the
with the molly base. Nope, not that molly base, because that's that's
just a slick. Yeah, buya slickster. So that's the most basic
shit you can do. It canrun low viz. That elastic works.
(16:56):
Great, you were going, butyou're going to need to buy something like
a Sparatist Mark five or a Markfour or something like that, or a
dope sack or you know all theirdope flaps or whatever it is that you
want to run on the front. If you want to run as a straight
carrier, I run as with aSparatist Mark five with s tac kiwis or
(17:17):
magazine retention. And now the coolpart is with the slick sture you do
get the cumber bunt where if youbuy an FCPC you have to buy the
Tigris or you have to you haveto buy the cumber butt, which that
adds another one hundred and eighteen bucksif you buy Tigris and it comes in
all the colors. So this isa this is a cost effective, very
(17:37):
comfortable carrier. And you can also, like I said, you could put
that on with a pair of reasonableplates underneath a sweatshirt and you have ballistic
protection that really is not super overt. It does work. Sizing is is
decent. They do have clear sizingstuff I'm a big fan of Pharaoh because
(17:59):
I I've had great luck with themand their customer service is great. They
don't sit on their hands, theysend you shit. So that's great.
One hundred and sixty bucks, that'snot bad. I mean, yeah,
I mean, and that's your base. You're going to get forty five bucks
into a SPARETUS mark five to getand then you're gonna have another twenty bucks
or so in s tach Kiwi.So you can actually put the put the
magazines in for retention for the frontfront. But there's but then you start
(18:22):
buying the pouches. Shit gets expensive. That's just part for the course.
But for a base. If you'resaying, hey, I need body armor
and I need to carry a handfulof mags, there you go. You
can do it on your sites.Yeah, and you were running this yesterday.
I think you put it. Ihave a chat over the top of
it. Yeah. Yeah. Iput it on for a minute just because
it was cold. Yeah, andI was running my eagle platere over the
(18:42):
top of my just soft shell raincoat. It actually was comfortable. I
did well. Since we're since we'rehere stand by, I said, go
ahead and do that. I'll justI'll unhinge my head and I'll put it
on so you can have it onright there we go, so super super
chill, super easy. And thishas the tigris, so this style.
(19:11):
So the cool part with this isthat these expand you can pull them so
they do breathe with you. Soif you are all sorts of fucked up,
and let's say you have a jacketyou have to put on right,
so you you size this stuff andnow I can stretch and everything will stretch
(19:33):
with me, and then it'll it'llcompact down back on me. Super comfortable
and it fits. And these andI have normal. I have normal.
I have normal ceramic plates that arelike four and a half pounds a piece.
They're not super heavy ones. Ihave. The Pharaoh actually pat hooked
me up with these in his questfor glory. He gave me a set
(19:56):
of the pharaoh shoulder pads. Theyare not but they are helpful. The
elastic cumber bund is more comfortable thanthe tigris, but the tigris does offer
it's a little tighter to your body, and it does feel like it when
it grabs onto your onto your likeshirt, it feels like you float more.
It feels like there's just more substantiveand it's tigris and it makes you
(20:19):
feel sexy. So s tat kiwis. I can't really pull them out,
but they basically look like a tacoand you stick them inside the the Spiritus
Mark five, which is very costeffective. So Spirit Systems they have some
really cool shit, and for likeforty five bucks you get something that's a
(20:41):
micro fight that you could you couldthrow on and roll with. I don't
I do have it. I'll grabit in a minute. But yeah,
then we can go to the nextthing. So what are you running pack?
I know you have a I knowI bought one of these for you
because I love you that much. But you also have a few other ones
you have like a you have ajumpable carry. So I ran a LBT
sixty ninety four for ship twelve years. Those are hot. I mean that's
(21:07):
a full play carry. That thingwas comfy as hell and it was you
know, carry seven mags on it. You're you know the kitchen sink right
now. I've got I've got aJPC two point zero. I've running the
Kangaroo pouch from Fair on it.I'm also running their their rollable medical pouch
(21:33):
on the back. On the backroll two, I have a. I
have one shoulder modified with a firstsper tube. Oh okay, so the
whole left side I can just ripoff without having to adjust. Now.
Other than that, I haven't reallydone anything else to it. I my
(21:55):
meg pouches are old diamondback tactical pouches, which I just I can't get rid
of them. I can't keep thosethings. So I've got three of those
in the front. And one ofthe reasons I like them is I can
also put handgun maximum if I want, I usually don't, and I've modified
the front to take the feral placardsso I can pull placards off of it.
(22:21):
Off the front. Nothing on thechest that's let's slick. Like yours
cover buns, I'm running an Aand a tactical sea cover bun and it
is the entire thing is elastic. And it also allows me if I say
I want to put side plates in, I don't, but I can also
shove ar pistol mags and aside. But much like yours, it is nice.
(22:45):
I mean, I can size theplate carrier a little tighter than usual,
and it just gives or I pulla jacket on or that I absolutely
love them. I know there's peoplethat I know that the two systems that
are people that just live and dieby them. They don't give you as
much immediate adjustability. You have todo a little bit of prior planning,
(23:07):
so if you're running ring kit orsomething underneath. So like this is a
little bit slick right now, becauseI do have the ability to put more
magazines, if I want to putbangers, if I want to do all
that stuff, I have that kit, and I do have a safe that
has that type of thing, thosetype of tools. But in general,
my my, my kid has afull medical you know, I have medical
kit on on my on my tachbelt well and your war belt and mirrors
(23:30):
both yours and I war belt mirrorsa lot really close. You'll see that
pretty clearly. I like the roletoo. I have a dump pouch,
I have I have OH, Ihave red Earth concealment, UH double pistol
and UH single rifle. So Icarry typically five to seven mags depending on
what I'm up to UH and whatI'm adding. And then in my backpack
(23:53):
I carry loose rounds, so Icarry boxes of AMMO. And that's that's
part of like my own capability. You know, if you if shit hits
the fan, it's almost pretty lightunder the circumstances when you get intelligent with
it. So but I do carrya multifunction stream light. So this does
(24:14):
ir red, green and white, and so that's for just navigation looking,
you know, map reading stuff likethat. Normally I have a petzel uh
like light. I also have ohwe'll talk about the helmet in a minute,
but that has a bunch of goodiesand do dads trauma shears. Obviously
you're gonna everybody's got to have everybody'sgot to have your have a block kit.
(24:37):
You gotta have your block kit.But it's like everybody now carries you
know, turn to kit. Sothat's pretty much. You know, I
use a carry too, because oneis none. I carry as Raeley bandages
as I carry quick clot you know, neofygial stuff. And I know you
have a PTT. I do,but I don't run it on this kit
because as it is right now,our short wave communications easier with the phone
(24:57):
because we're not under restricted restricted conditions. So you talk about yeah, when
people talk about radios and stuff onehundred percent respect it. I do have
a UV five R for a closerange if I really need to do it,
you'll see on that'side. You'll seea radio pouch that I can And
(25:17):
I am a big fan of beingfucking comfortable, and having that shit sticking
up right here is just not thebest situation. So that's what I was
leading into. So Farland makes asystem that's called the mass system. It
relocates the antenna under your back.I have a way to do that,
and I man, it's nice becauseif you get a nice short whip,
it works. I mean, Imean a short whip nothing. That's what
(25:40):
she sees. You know, we'renot talking like Grand Thumb and I'll talk
to the fucking hubble space telescope withfree Fu and thebri Oh. We talked
about that last week. Avery wastalking about a twelve inch or an eighteen
inch study that is basically the hotBoy. Brie also has a forty two
that if you want to like basicallyhave the best possible, that's what's supposed
to be the jam. And it'slike it's like a six dollar part if
(26:03):
you really get down to it.But I mean then again, like if
you have a UV five R,then you should have multiple batteries because if
you're using short wave communications and it'sreally a thing, you need to have
your mobile plug. And you alsohave to have multiple batteries because if you're
monitoring and you start transmitting, you'llburn battery pretty quick. So that being
(26:23):
said, you're West, Do youhave anything that is your your plate carrier?
I know you have. I thinkyou have like a chest rig and
a plate carrier. I have chestNo, I just I just have the
plate carrier. I have an oldEagle plate carrier with the coummer bunds.
Nothing wrong with that stuff. Notusing the comer bund right now because I'm
a little bit too fat for that. But that's probably the reason why I'm
(26:45):
working on a losing weight, andit's it's dude, you how much much?
How much weight your face has lostall your face has lost so much
weight? I did that verse nothe last year. I mean I gained
some back during Christmas, but it'sslowly coming on. Like I was three
forty nine today when I wait inwhen I woke up and I'm bitching about
one eighty seven. Ah, youknow what I'm saying it's insane. But
a week ago, I was likethree fifty seven or something like that.
(27:11):
I was I was out there,ye dude, Yeah, No. When
I got my license the other day, I was three fifty one. So
I'm losing a couple of pounds. So you gain a little bit and it
goes down, it shifts, it'sa it's a zigzag when you look at
the chart. So well, sure, hey, uh, grab the link
to the Haley Strategic flat Pack.Because there's something functional in the scope of
this. That's the reason why you'dwant to run something like the dope flap
(27:33):
or a spare disc mark five.I'll grab my flat pack real quick.
Let me make sure I have italready opened up stand by. So let's
say, so, Halo Strategic flatPack. Hey, the link. The
flat pack has lots of advantages. You have something that you can run your
(28:00):
hit in. But it also hasexpansion flaps, so it'll bellow out.
It'll do that on the top andit will double basically almost the volume.
It feels like it almost doubles thevolume of the backpack. Okay, so
it gets a lot bigger. It'sa really intelligent piece of kit. It's
(28:22):
been on the market for a longtime. But it's one of those if
it's not broke, don't fix it. It is not a cost effective piece
of kit. It's like one hundredand sixty five bucks or something for what
it is. But I have usedthis now for four years or so,
and I have used it daily,So it's like my daily it's my daily
(28:45):
got stuff in it bag? Okay, it does a lot of things.
And the cool part is, andthe reason I'm showing you is that Pat
made a point of saying, Hey, we don't really run a backpack.
These straps, right, these uhthese uh fast decks, you break these
away, you pop them over,You pop your fast decks on your mark
(29:15):
five click in, click in onthe other side, and you just have
it on your bottom, same wayand you set your fast xs for it.
But now you have a more orless a small uh assault pack that
you can use or support that wouldallow you to have a expanded medical capability,
(29:41):
expanded tactical capabilities. I mean you, I mean if I mean,
depending on what you're doing, youcould it could be sitting down the woods
watching a church. Make sure itdoesn't get burned down. Yeah, you
know, you could have noodles inthere. You could do a lot of
stuff. That is one of thebig pieces. Uh and and you invest
well, we invest it in themax pedition packs. We talked about those
(30:03):
last week. They're a little heavierbuilt, but they've got some pretty cool
innovation. They do integrate well witha plate carrier because typically when you have
a plate carrier on your body, makes the backpack fall away from your from
yourself, so it has a justnesson the top that collapse it forward to
make it put the weight back ontop of your shoulders instead of pulling it
(30:25):
backward on your body. So there'ssome advantages there. Now in terms of
the flat pack interrupt you. Yeah, sure if your plate carrier and you
want to convert the placard so youcan just swap calibers. So website.
It's a place called axl or Axle. They make the adapters that fit in
and they come with the fact textbuckles. Still yes, oh that's dope,
(30:49):
So I'll put up a link. But so I run on my JBC
to work the placards. I don'thave to modify the plate carrier at all.
It slides in and the placards sit. Oh it's very similar to this,
or I could rip this away, have a different kit and go.
But it comes with female fast textso you can just clip them right in.
So yeah, and there carbon they'recoded carbon fiber. Oh they're not
(31:11):
going to break, there's nothing. So with that mind, Hey, did
you you showed the did you pullthat link up so everybody could see it's
on Hayley Strategic dot Com. Yeah, it was just since you were showing
it on camera when they made sureyou had a full for sure to show
off? Yeah, oh for sure. Oh I'm getting to show off.
Yeah, So like I said,oh yeahs still one hundred and sixty dollars.
(31:32):
You can see the value the quality. Make no mistake. It's not
a piece of shit that is actuallyreally well constructed. It seems expensive for
what it is, but when youreally start using it, if you bought
something from Condor, you may notget nearly the mileage it is. Velcrow
recipient level is easy to use onthe inside. If you have male Velcrow,
(31:56):
it'll stick anything on the inside. It is designed to though laies and
gentleman. Condor is short term. Please do not use that or your mainline
shit. Yeah, I'm missing undersfor like, I want to play our
soft then I don't care if itbreaks. I understand you're transitioning into more
I'll just quote unquote professional gear.I have some Condor pouches, and that's
a pretty much all I would buyfrom Condor is a pouch. I wouldn't
(32:20):
buy like an actual piece of gearthat I want to rely on. As
an aside. I did see thetwenty twenty four shot show Condor Booth.
They did a thing on it.Certain pieces. They've done a lot of
work door because they're doing a lotof laser cutting and they're trying to mimic
some of the Really they've tried toup their game with the stuff that maybe
we were exposed to when they firstcame out on the market. That felt
(32:44):
really just oh man, this isgoing to fall the fuck apart of the
stitching's not there. It's you know, it's single stitch. It is not
double stitch. To all those pieces, I think they've made some transitions there.
I think Avery would have a lotbetter like Barometer on that, yeah,
in terms of in terms of construction. But he's told me, he
goes, yeah, you can't gowrong with that with that flat packet's solid.
(33:04):
So and there are obviously lots ofthings on the mark, but we're
talking about the things that we use. And I mean I have stuff,
I have prototype gear, I havethose type of items. I have a
JPC that's prototype that I'm looking at. I do want to bust it out,
but and I know who made it, so it's kind of like,
yeah, it's high end. Soyeah, but now with that in mind,
(33:25):
yeah, yeah, it's a unicorn. It doesn't exist. It's a
it's a it's a triple G doesn'texist. So all right, what'd you
want to talk about next? Well, let's uh, let's jump back into
that bridge of information because I know, like with all the links, that'll
be a good way to for meto be able to remember what I put
(33:45):
up there. But as far asany do you want to add anything specifically?
Is there a go to pouch orI mean, I mean things that
are currently available that you would suggest. Okay, well, let me let
me preface it that. How aboutfor on carrier type retention? Is there
(34:12):
is there any bits and pieces thatyou would say are musts you should have,
things you should be using. I'mI'm a fan of some redundancy,
Like my bell will have a light. I put a light on my carrier.
My bell will have a knife. There's a knife on my carrier.
Little things like that I'm I'm afan of. Like you've got a light
(34:32):
there on your right right shoulder, right right there, yeah, right,
you know, and then my helmet'sgot a light on it too, So
you know, in terms of Idon't know, I think I think it's
something like that. I think, are you I think you're getting into the
mission specific I mean, what doesthe actual mission dictate doing what you update?
(34:55):
We're not you know, I haveno unit sp I have a game.
We have no unit of SOPRS.Is right now fairly generic and the
mission when it does quote unquote doespop up, we have already have a
fairly good idea of what we're goingto be doing. So no, the
kid's not gonna modify that much anything. It'll be thrown in to the vehicle
(35:23):
we're using. It's going to besitting in there or fucking whatever. Extras
will be at a bag. Soyeah, I mean there's just I mean
there's like my go bag is awell not really, I mean, my
mission bag is a you've seen it. It's a roll soft roll, hard
bought. It has everything I needand it just go. Dude, I've
got an amazing tactical tailored Duffel I'vehad for fifteen years. I can't kill
(35:47):
it. I can't. No,So I don't you know, we're not
fucking third group. I mean thirdgroup is going to have Oh we're doing
this, this guy does this,We're doing You gotta be generic. Yeah
you know, yeah, fine, you know. It's you know, little
things well as far as really notreally to answer question though, I don't.
(36:12):
So, I've got a couple ofthings. I think it's not so
much must haves, but it's thingsthat you should be using. If you're
using a product, there's certain thingsyou can't buy knockoff shit of right,
So like if you go buy stach Kiwis, you're going to have mag
retention, you go by Ali BabaKiwis, you will probably have your mags
fall out when you're if you turnsideways, I would say never buy knockoff
(36:37):
if it is something you want tosee. If you like the the Hydromount,
oh yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, if you like for Fit
and Finish, like how it that'sa five hundred dollars amount. Okay,
if you want to go buy thehundred or the fifty dollars all of baba
to see if you like it,that makes sense. I mean, if
(37:01):
you're buying gear because you expect thisshit to work in riots or running through
the woods shooting at fucking pedophiles andarsness, I would not use knockoff every
Yeah, it doesn't make sense tome. I get it now. I'm
(37:22):
not you know, a point Tone T two great sig romeos. I
don't SIGs, not a knockoff thatthat okay, that that's personal preference at
that fucking point. I personally prefereotechs. Do you tech have a bad
rap? Yes? Has that shitworked? Yes? Case in point,
Okay, don't Chinese knockoff airsloft shit. It's just don't go into debt for
(37:46):
your fucking gear unless I will saya caveat. Unless you are working for
a corp or your business, military, or you're doing something where it that
necessitates you know, yeah, Ihave to spend five hundred bucks on this,
Well, it's it's that's a necessity. Your life depends on that ship.
(38:07):
Yeah, so you know, don'tskimp on your plates. Get plate,
get nice plates. Please get chromatics. Chromatics if you can afford them.
Lease. Oh yeah, I meanif you're gonna get steel plates,
great, make sure you get thespall fucking jacket that goes over it too.
And just are you suggesting AR fivehundred might leave your face and holes
(38:30):
you have to have. Admittedly,I don't know what to think on that.
You know, they make spawling jackets. Okay, here's another thing,
if you need them, it's likesurvival. Okay, it's a fifty to
fifty chance. Hey, I'm runningout of fucking water and I'm fucking dehydrated.
(38:52):
If I drink out of the stream, I might start getting diarrhea,
but I won't be thirsty anymore. It's a fucking gamble either way. So
you got to weigh that decision.Yes, right, you gotta weigh it
right. So you know, ifyou're like, hey, there's a road
down there, I'm thirsty two hoursyou chunks of water. Hey I'm down
by road. I got somebody Ican go to the hospital. That is
(39:13):
an accept little risk to me.But you know, if I'm adding a
driver on Earth sixty five million yearsago, I ain't drinking that fucking water.
I ain't shitting on the shuttle onthe way to the rescue ship.
Okay, you probably would, though, actually that's different for a whole different
experience. If you're in there withme, I'm gonna shit all over your
face. So now with that inmind, let's go. Uh so let's
(39:35):
go battle. Let's go battle beltbecause let's go first line. Let's go
first. Let's go first line. So, oh, you broke it,
all right, So basically things refreshing. I run a Roanan belt. That's
basically, that's what it is.That's a it's that's the design. It
works great. I've also run agreg Ost gear belt. That's a prototype
that works great. I so one'sflexible, one's very rigid, so your
(40:00):
minds may very I like both,and I don't think there's really a wrong
answer there. It's what you haveon it. So on mine, I
run a pair of two block bagsso that that are made by rhetoric concealment.
And I will say this, hisstuff is very well built. It
has had lots and lots of repson it, and it looks just like
(40:20):
it did when I bought it.Yeah, I mean it works great.
Shout out to John red Earth hookingus up with some gear. That guy.
Yesterday, I was like, bro, one of the videos of me
using the he made for me forthe Macro, Yeah, hulster is great.
I love both the holsteries you sentme and yeah, I mean the
(40:43):
fit is perfect. So h andgoing around the backside with that let's you
know, yeah, he's he's likeI said that, you can't go You're
not going wrong. He's using goodstuff as you're going around. I have
I do run a roll Run rollone. So it's another Pharaoh thing that's
by blowout kit so it's easily accessibleand if you follow any any of the
(41:05):
you know, cool guys things.I bought that shit before it was cool.
That's the best part. I boughtit when they just I was like,
I like that, And then everybodystarted using because everybody was using that
one that has like the little reflectiveor ir tabs that look like a cross.
That was the big pooh there fora minute, and I was like,
man, I need more stuff becausemy bod kad has more shit in
it than that. So I haveone of those and it is comfortable.
(41:29):
I will give it that It doesn'tfeel like it's really impeding you. You
can buy a knockoff ronin belt andthe really what you're losing is the Cobra
buckle is not going to be hisquality. So that would be the biggest
detractor for not doing that if you'reworried about the cobra buckle failing, you
know, if you're if you're doingany type of retention where it could be
(41:51):
it could be a it could bea tool that you're using to lanyard in
on. I would get something that'srated. That's what I was using yesterday.
It's a sixty dollars Amazon knockoff runningand it works fun for what I'm
using it for, but it's notit's not as regular, probably not gonna
last as long. That is ayou know, it's probably a hotel.
(42:13):
So anyway, the and moving aroundthe next thing. My pistol is I
have I run o'clock nineteen with anh an HCl one HD, so I
run with the dealt. The pointpro so the handgun is, you know,
it's a Gin four with all thecool guys stuff on it as well.
(42:35):
For the most part, it's notas hot boys like stuff that Pat
runs. But it gets a jobdone. It's a business gun that we
ran forever working. So it's actuallythe gun I ran. We still have
nineteen out of it. And fora lack of better words, for lack
of better words, that holster isa level two holster. We had a
conversation about this yesterday. As amatter of fact, it's a level two
(42:58):
holster. Great retention does take sometraining in order to really make it so
you get a good, clean break. And it is bigger because it's a
bigger chonky boy. That's a butit is comfortable. It. If you
take a like a t Rex armsleg strap and pair that to it,
you will see a kind of aIt has a good homologation keeps it so
(43:22):
it rides really clean, and itdoes keep a positive attention because the t
Rex leg strap is solid. Iuse that and I also use I use
his inside waistband. Step two.I've been a little little trick with these
people. If you run say aSurefire Extree hundred light and you run there
(43:43):
the remote switch that follows the bottomof the oh the yeah. So that
is all just a Jackson mode totake your dramal You can just run a
channel slides right the fucking and outwithout rubbing on the the remote switch.
And just like that, he toldyou he's a machinist. All right.
So so so the the Safari landAls stuff, I do agrees probably.
(44:06):
I mean, okay, let medate myars hard to beat man. Yeah,
good ship. I had a ohman, it's just a forty nine
four, the original like drop legSafari land Yeah, I think that's what
it was. It was for aclock nineteen. I carried it in that
(44:27):
too. I tried that and thatwas that was That was an interesting holster.
This is superior obviously. And thenuh yeah, I run a few
other little ditties, gloves stuff likethat, because you can never really go
wrong pop bottle opener, shit likethat. And then of course a multi
tool. Now we talked about multitools and using the knockoff multi tool.
(44:49):
That's fine, have that as abackup if shit goes wrong. You have
an extra tool. It's just anextra tool. But if you're going to
buy a molt a tool that youmay rely on that you have an expectation,
an expectation you can rely on it, then you should probably buy something
that's that's going to be a littlemore reputable made for And the reason I'm
(45:12):
saying that is because it's made fromdifferent metal. It's it's higher and steel.
It'll hold an edge. It willyou know, the jaws won't break
if you're grabbing onto something. It'sthat type of thing. I'm using the
mutt because my wife loves me andshe bought it for me. Yep,
the Leatherman mutt. It is aI do have a link. Yeah,
there you go. That is oneis designed specifically for your ar. It'll
(45:35):
help you work on your gun. That has all the appropriate bits and pieces.
So it's kind of one of thoseones that it's a range toy,
so you take it to the range. I mean, yeah, it even
has a it has ships you canyou know, adjust sites and everything.
But yeah, it does. Itdoes a thing. And the cool part
is is that I don't know howmany every time I go to the range
that gets pulled out and somebody's usingit that's not me. So it's a
(45:59):
it's a pretty much a very easything to have in Jesus. Yeah,
oh yeah, it was. Everybodyit's been after that one. And it
comes with lots of different fixtures andtools, and it has torques, well
not torques but alan and everything thatyou're going to normally run it do.
You also has a hammer, soyou could beat someone's ask if they try
to steal it. I suppose so, And like a it does have some
of the silly things like a seabelt cutter, and it does have a
(46:22):
really decent knife on it. Andit does have a saw, which who
gives a shit unless I'm trying tosaw my leg off or something that I
wouldn't really use it. But thecarbone draper is really helpful. I know
there's a few other ones. Therewas the one that's like the EOD one.
I think that you have one ofthose too, because it has a
couple extra little duties that seem todo pretty good. This is fewer functions,
(46:44):
but very solid functions. So theone hundred and one tool is maybe
not the best option. Sometimes youneed to buy something a little more purpose
built, and this one I've hadreally good luck with. I've tried to
kill it and it won't die,so I do or said. It's expensive
as fuck for what it is inmy opinion, but it's kind of like
snap on. You're buying it fora reason, so at least snap on
(47:07):
used to be. Yeah, SoI run pretty much all the same.
On my belt, I use aBlue Alpha Gear belt Cobra buckle, pretty
much the same thing. The onlydifference we didn't mention on our belts is
we run a thin belt around thepants and then the war belt fits over
(47:30):
that. It's not part of theright. Oh yeah, that's the valcro.
That is one of the that's oneof the features of the Ronan type
belts is or and Blue Alpha Gearis the same way. I love them.
Their customer service is fucking phenomenal. My I run two r mags and
two pistol mags and I use fastmags for those Behind that is a leather
(47:58):
and then behind that is the dumppouch. Now behind that is my black
hit. Behind that is my dumppouch. And then on the right side,
directly where my leg is is,I run a holster. So that's
free. I'm forgetting some shit. But yeah, but like I was tell
(48:22):
him, I run the mutt andthen the other thing I run, like
saying a little bit redundancy in myin my pack that I have with me,
I run a leather and serge andthat's a twenty one tool as they're
big boy, just because because sometimesI don't have my belt on me.
(48:42):
It's a carrier. So you know, because admittedly that size to run with
that underbelt and yeah, I couldrun it without, but it it's uncomfortable
when we talk about belts. Yeah, we go als. You have your
your your gloves. Uh. Andmy difference with my holster that he has
(49:02):
is I attached my holster to myunderbelt and then slide and the belt fits
over the gap. So that way, even if it don't have my belt
on, I at least have aside arm. Okay, So you don't
put the velcrow through your belt, loops on your pants, you put it
over your shirt and everything else.I'm just doing it right now normally.
Yeah, that's what I do.I kind of have my leather belt that's
(49:24):
on that holds my pants on andthen I slide the vel crow over the
top of that fit in place, and then you slap that vel crow right,
So I'll have pistol. I'll haveit's really hard to hear you bill
red earth concealment, you know.Stuff here, I've got a door wedge
(49:49):
in there. Let's see what else. Yeah, there's my door wedge and
then I've got obviously marking stuff,but that's s a B. I also
carry tape because you never know ifyou cut something. What if you need
to tape a lock close so likea door exit, door out, don't
enter an exit. You can dothis. I also have stuff like you
know, a sharpie. Now here'sthe cool part. You're not if you're
(50:09):
not running your gloves. Here's alittle pro tip. And you have a
leg strap. Gloves flop, butif you tuck them and you clip them
go, they don't. They stayon you and they stay close. You
got your leather. This tool iseasy to manage. And people who put
(50:30):
like leathermans and shit on their backdo they I don't think they really consider
the fact that you're going to haveto put it away and you need it
to be a tool that only youneed to be able to put away.
It's like being able to put yourgun away, right it put it in
a holster. To put tall shitdirectly behind your spine, people you get
stay absolutely drives me insane when peoplefucking do that. Put it to the
(50:51):
sides or put a thin on thebelt, because what happens you fall back
on that you can fucking fracture orbreak your goddamn spine and you are going
to fall down. It's what fuckinghappens. I use we talked about it
last week to fix uh fixed nightfixed fixed uh fixed blade versus folder.
I run folders and I have amulti tool, and I do have a
(51:13):
fixed blade. But the fact ofthe matter is, with what I'm doing
right now, I'm better off tohave a set of trauma shares than I
am to have a fixed blade, because still slab a motherfucker in the eye
with that. Because I'm gonna cutoff clothes or I'm gonna do something helpful.
I'm not gonna get a and likeyou know, chopping somebody down.
This is not gonna be a thing. So there's that. I also,
(51:36):
I'm a big fan of having awristwatch because if your phone goes down,
have an analog wristwatch something that orwe're not carrying it for some reason,
yeah, or you're not carrying itbecause yeah, it's a thing, but
that's that is a piece. Ohhere you go. So I turned my
light on, so there you go, there's my red light. But no,
it's it is one of these tools. It's stream white people. The
(51:58):
Bill's lighter at the street might andall that they make, good ship them
ount on stream lights, good ships, your fine stream, decent tool.
We can go to helmets in asecond. Do you guys have anything to
add, because I mean, Iknow everybody has their own flavor. I've
kind of dominated, so I knowthat you. Our kit's very similar.
We we mirror Bill and I mirrora lot of our stuff. Placement.
(52:20):
I know I got my placement wrongon some shit, but pretty much.
And I mean, I mean theonly thing that asks different is if I
do put a radio on, Ihave a PTT that's going to be right
here. That's yeah. I runa PTT and I'll get into yeah,
that's that's something that's but that's butthat also ties into you know, helmet
comms or or whatever you're doing. And well, I mean we've been using
(52:43):
it mainly for just for fucking airpro. Yeah, and right now,
I mean air pro. You run, I run Swordin's and you run contacts.
So I mean I run contacts,or when I don't wear a helmet,
I'll run I'll run contact pelturs.And when I run a helmet,
I'll run the fucking Gentex ARCS orhot Hey West, is up your going?
(53:06):
I hate you? Ye? Theams are like twelve hundred dollars dot,
that's not necessary. No, No, I want your ear Pro.
I've tried you let me tray yourhelmet on before. And I was asking
a question ago and I'm like, like I love that, Like yeah,
dude, buy once to cry once. And I'm like yeah, because I
(53:27):
had an experience, I bought somevery very cheap ear pro, the kind
that you know you can pull apartand then like stuff it on your on
your helmet and I spent like fiftydollars on the whole thing, and it
was it didn't even work, dude. And then I was trying to get
it to work. I was fillingwith it, and I said, I'll
just take it off and put itin my car. And I went to
go shut my car and I cutthrough the cable. So now they're completely
(53:50):
useless. Yeah, and I'm like, well they didn't work anyway, kind
of a bitch. Yeah, Okay, there's the thing air Pro. There
is a M S A sortans right, go to S S A. Is
it s S A tactical s SS T S S T S tactital tactical
(54:14):
sn S. Is it sn Sor s T s uh. It's a
place we bought tons of ship from. I bought sword and pro x's from
them, S R T tactical Ssomething. Yeah, I'm sure Wester gonna
find it. You know, we'reall talking lists. Precision. Nope,
nope, it's S S T S. I I get like SI from all
(54:34):
that R S s R S RS. That's tactical. Yeah, they
are there, and they're legit too. So the ones that you had I
had on in the video as wellas the ones that I used while he's
doing that. So there's my bucket. Yep, Oh that's hot boy.
(55:00):
So actually this one, if youlook, this one is actually a fuck
a bump helmet. However, myreal ballistic these you can't tell the difference
between the two of these other thanone's a bump and one's a ballistic.
So I made this for training andthe ballistic for doing stuff. Helmet cover
(55:23):
is actually ISRAELI made run the amparms for colms. Don't have them attached
here. This is opt core counterweight, which is integrated into the rails battery
pack. Elastic retention is that whenyou're a ballistic. Oh that's your bump.
(55:45):
No, this is my bump.Okay. Light. So the little
arm here is actually Unity Tactical. This is a Surefire light made by TNVC,
but it actually has five settings thanthe normal two. So the initial
settings are both low and then dualhigh, so it's got like four different
(56:09):
lumen settings, and then it rotatesfor infrared. Oh, you have a
vampire light. It's a vampire light. Yeah, and then Princeton Tech little
for red, but it also rotatesup and down, and then there's a
(56:30):
fuck is an SNS anyway, it'sa strobe for different colors for NATO oil,
the hell light or he light orlight. Yeah, there we are,
so I got this is the NATOstandard color one. So it's infrared,
strobe visible green and then green withstrobe and the strobe on these are
apparently visible to fifteen fucking miles. That's hot. It looks like you have
(56:53):
battery for night vision. Cable isall wrapped around tucked in here. Only
things I don't have on here ismy night vision arm because that's on the
noodles. For whatever reason, thescene from Fast and the Furious comes to
mind where they're looking at the dude'scar, and then diesel is not a
(57:14):
bad way to spend twenty thousand dollarswhatever it was, that's not a bad
way to spend ten thousand dollars petindeed. And actually I'm about to upgrade
the liner to one of their newlux liners. Looking online apparently that is
super comfortable over their old liners. So I've actually had that sitting up front
(57:37):
in the box for about six weeks. Just haven't fucking done it yet.
I'm a busy doing other shit becauseyeah, no guy, Yeah, like
I said, my ballistic is setup exactly the same as this. Yeah
it's hot. Yeah. So insteadof having amp arms, I have something
that's a little more mobile. Ittakes a little bit of finagling when you
(58:00):
put it on with the helmet, but it works great. Super comfortable.
So the headband style, so it'sheadband neck band, so there's no pressure
on your on your head at all. Goes over a hat or under a
hat or whatever. Super low profileand these are pro ex'es, super comfortable.
They're like two hundred and fifty bucks. I think the actual neck bands
(58:20):
like two eighty. It makes ita little better it's got. You know,
I've got the Faral pieces instead ofthe stock ones because I wanted to
be a fucking fanboy. But thathas nothing to do with performance. Yeah,
exactly, pose up six hundred hoursof battery life for your ears auto
shut off for shake a week,so if you leave them on. Incidentally,
you can expand these to the millSpec Communications. It's another couple hundred
(58:42):
bucks, but it's just a plugin. You can also route these with
a cell phone, so you canactually do listen only or have a lapel
and have a go direct in withthe jack. So it does have a
little more modularity and then has abunch of sound profiles so you can turn
it to like I can hear amouse fart in the house, or I
can have it where it's conversation we'rehaving right now, which is trigger our
headphones. It sounds ultimately the same, so those integrate really well. One
(59:05):
thing that Pat I'm not sure ifyou brought it up, but if you
buy comms or you buy a headgearor you buy ear pro, you want
to run gel cups because the stockshit will wear you out. It will
cause you have hot spots on yourhead and it doesn't take very long.
You'd think, you know, ohI could wear these for a couple hours.
No, no, you can't.They actually get really fucking uncomfortable,
especially if you're doing stuff and everything'smoving around. It's not like sitting under
(59:29):
them. Yeah, oh yeah, dad, you should be wearing fucking ear
pro anyway when you're shooting or Ipro, yes, you should be all
right. So I went a slightlydifferent route because I decided to support a
communist company and by you know, buy a Team Wendy bump helmet. Right,
I'm just making I don't know whatTeam Wendy does, but I know
they make a decent bump helmet.Biggest reasons that shows that is because of
(59:51):
the system. The ratcheting system theyuse is super comfortable. It does come
with alternate pads, some extras thatyou can rain around to fit your noggin.
I tend to wear if you ridea bike, I can wear a
showy medium, super comfortable it it'smy head profile. So if you have
a blockhead, like really wide head, this may not be very comfortable.
(01:00:13):
So you have to kind of youhave to assess, like how what your
head style is. Because people somehave longer dome shorter domes with and all
that. I have a pretty youknow, like a seven and a quartered
lid, so this this works reallygood or really well. I'm gonna use
proper English good it are good thing. I have a hell starlight old older
(01:00:36):
style, so I got red greenblue, which is and for inner team
stuff. That's great because we cansay, hey, that's that, I
know what that is, we knowwhat our ideas and that's easy mode.
I do run the Argus battery packbecause I like to have all the extra
juice. I do run my cablesunderneath the uh the helmet cover because the
(01:00:58):
reality is is that when you startsmacking your head on stuff, the one
thing that you're going to fuck upguaranteed it is going to be a cable.
And the reason you're going to dothat is because that's the one thing
when you want to use it,you're gonna need it and it's not gonna
work. So right, all withyour nods smack exactly. This is courtesy
Pat hooked me up with this.I would have ended up with the G
twenty four. I would have spentthe money, but he hooked me up
(01:01:21):
with them. Narotos atac ak.Yeah, oh, a caac all right.
So yeah, this is a reallysame similar function as the G twenty
four. The only downside is isthat it's the same price. But you
do have your your rhino horn isa little taller. You don't get that
really flat piece that you can yousacrifice flatness for real fine adjustment of everything.
(01:01:49):
And this is this gets right ontothat you can run gangster mode with
this super easy. So this givesyou enough adjustment. You can set your
eyes so you can filter your headdown, have pure vision and just looks
straight normal, like you look atyour optic and it'll be clear. So
you can shoot under passive. Youcan shoot passive, then you can go
gangster. You do the gangster looks. Anybody who's following in the GBRS guy
(01:02:13):
like that sleigh dude, he alwaysmakes jokes. Get as close as you
can, but throw the throw thehead back for gangsterdom. Well it works
like a charm with this mount.Yeah, yeah, exactly, it's no
shit. I do have the ArgusArgus PBS thirty one battery you know battery
system. The cool part about thisbattery pack is it's not a piece of
(01:02:37):
shit. That's the one part itis you bought the Harris version, and
it's identical. It's literally the samething. So I believe the seal between
the pack and the top cover wasthe only thing that was really significantly different
and that could be fucking replaced.Yeah, so this does have an ir
strobe. You can turn it on, so it does work. It is
(01:02:59):
not work in terms of creating ahalo. If you're in a building,
this would be for marker, andthis will get you killed or get you
alive. I guess it depends onwhat's going on where you're at, and
I think that there is kind ofI'll go into this in a minute.
But so that's my lid. Igot my cool guy stickers and all that
shit on it, you know. And then of course Princeton Tech light,
(01:03:22):
so I've got it mounted higher.I put it on Velcrow because Team Wendy's
version three is a lot more finickywith what you can put on it.
This works great. And then Ialso put a surefire like a shorty with
a I can run white light,so I can and I use it specifically
for this reason. I can turnI can open this, I can go
(01:03:42):
white light and light the room upright, so I can do. I
can have passive light around me,or if I have noodles on, I
can put the I Are filter onand that Now I have lots of light
and it's only going up, soit makes it so I don't have to
run anything. It's a good especiallyif you're the house and has white ceilings.
Yeah, it just kicks as especiallyI do that when I make movies.
(01:04:05):
If I my situation where I wantmore natural light and we have a
really bright light, what you cando is you can just turn that bright
light up on the ceiling and thenit all just kind of catch down a
very nice, nice natural soft light. Yeah. Oh, here you go.
Is that a casting couch behind you, Wes, Yes, there you
go. It's my broken couch thatI need to throw away. Yes,
(01:04:25):
because you were doing too much good. They kind of maneuver it to check
on it. So it's like it'sjust all that ball sweating through everything.
Yeah, so now the big heavyballs. You know, if you're having
too much sex on my couch,it just broke. There you go when
you're alone. I had a conversationwith my calculate today. I think they
could they could make it a fewmore weeks and I just said I'm tired,
boss, I'm feeling so tired.Balls all right, So last I
(01:04:53):
think that's the last bit as faras that goes, as far as kid,
this is one of those uh heybell one thing yep, yep,
maxpedition packed behind you. Oh yeah, yeah, okay, Oh I'll go.
I'll finish off headgear because if youryours is all hooked up, I
will I will throw this on andsay okay. So, so Bill and
(01:05:15):
I run the same night vision setup. His is green, is white,
phosphorus and other than white fox andnot phosphorus. Otherwise you're gonna bring
your head up phosphor phosphor. Yeah, yeah, so phosphorescent. Yeah,
So the trick is greener, greenerwhite. That is one hundred percent user
(01:05:39):
preference. I've looked through both.I get a headache with the white it's
too bright even and if even ifI turn it down, it's just a
hue. Doesn't work for me.I have high palm, in which I
hate the statement of that now becauseit sounds like really misleading. I have
really fucking clear, really bright, very easy to manage green, and I
can see like it's the world's greenglass. Okay, Now there's a few
(01:06:02):
tricks with doing this stuff. A. You need to have money, right,
so that's the first piece. Andif you do contact, you might
be able to hook you up alittle bit depending on what's up. So
if you want to contact us,we probably have a number. Call.
Now with that mind, you dowant to run because it's your kit.
You want to run, not necessarilyfilters, but you do want to use
(01:06:23):
protection right. So it's just likeit's like jumping in. It's like running
a dirty bitch. You better runprotection value. Oh yeah, you want
lins protectors, the stickers that areon side, the stuff that makes it
look multicam or green or you knowwhatever you want to make it or whatever
that runs multi caam, I runwoodland yeah whatever, it has no bearing
right. These are two So theseare called BB and D Mark two fourteen
(01:06:47):
thirty one's now they can run ona single double A or they can run
off your extra power pack. Wethere's this thing called a tarsier which allows
you to all, you know, change the focusture. Yeah, it's an
aperture. You're using a photo apertureor a camera aperture in order to create
depth of field. So and thisis a tool if you're going to run
(01:07:10):
night vision. They are inexpensive tomake cast you like forty bucks. Aside
you put those on. It's alsoa way to protect the lens, okay,
and then it protects your actual lensbecause you can replace these these filters
for like seven bucks because there's twothere's three pieces or two pieces. And
then you also can go in abuilding and you're like, oh my god,
(01:07:32):
so the smaller the aperture. Sowhen you walk into a building,
you may have them set with likethat six milimeter ish, you know,
five point five to six milimeter circle. And let's say you go out into
another part, you open one.So now you've got lots of long casts
and it's very bright. But throughthis one, I can shoot through my
night I can shoot through my reddot and it's just like shooting through green
(01:07:57):
glass and it's super clear picture. So there's some there. I say,
like a video game. It's veryvery video game like. So if you
want to play Call of Duty forreal and you can shoot live rounds at
not real targets or you can shootfake rounds at real targets, real people,
then you know, you know,I mean, you know what I'm
saying, you can or if youare the lucky few, they can shoot
(01:08:17):
live rounds, real targets. Yeah, exactly, those things are okay.
So night vision is something that iscost prohibitive, but if you are in
a position that you can't obtain it, it could be life preserving. That's
the reality. So another thing tonote, people, when you spend money
on this stuff, spend the extracouple hundred bucks or whatever to keep it
(01:08:40):
safe, clean, protect. Whynot you spent ten thousand dollars on a
piece of night vision, Why thefuck wouldn't you put shields on the back
and front to keep your lenses clearbecause you will waste those pieces like smoke
those things. Now. Also, the other trick is is that, in
my opinion, is is that thepart of the training aspect of doing this
stuff. I'm a bit advocate ortraining. So all the guys that I
(01:09:03):
know, we all kind of twe do stuff. Yeah, there you
go, that's perfect. So Idid not pay that, Nope, but
we can probably help you with thattoo. So with that mind, it
will be less than But there aresome very advantageous that's the ballistic and that's
super expensive. The the bomb helmets. About a helmets, Yeah, god
(01:09:27):
damn. Yeah, that's crazy money. But here's the thing. You also
have to weigh the risk, rightbecause what's the likelihood of meaning a bullistic
helmet if I'm in warfare Again,it's like plates are risk out way Yeah.
Yeah, so I do have plates, but I don't have dump So
I'm living in the eighties in onerespect, all right, or at least
early nineties. So with that mind, there's other tools like having i mean,
Avery's talked about it, you know, having a way to charge stuff,
(01:09:50):
et cetera. But in terms ofyour your basic kits, that's huge.
Now. Uh, last pace ofkit that I have that I think
is manageable and very important is alike a three day assault pack. I
think that would be like a heavythree day AsSalt pack. You bring up
the max pedition pack that's up thereso they can show the Yeah, there
(01:10:12):
you go. Well it's not loadingproperly for whatever reason. You can scroll
it just show what it looks like. It's fine. Yeah, yeah,
so there you go. That's it. It's not I mean, there's this
that's not it down. If that'sit right there, Well it's blurry,
it doesn't matter. But it's Americathat one, all right, So it
is that. So with that mind, it is a thousand and d so
(01:10:33):
it's a little bit heavier per squareinch of material. It's modular. You
can scale it up and scale itdown on the sides for water and extra
pouches and mission based pouches. Itis not framed, but it does have
a decent kidney belt. It iscomfortable and if depending on how you set
up your battle belt, it cansit on your roll one pouch and float
a little bit, so you actuallycreate a you actually create a hip belt,
(01:10:55):
so it takes the weight off yourshoulders. So it's very helpful.
I've rocked the fuck out of thisthing and it's been non problematic. It
doesn't show where it's weird out inthe rain, you know, leaned it
up against you know, rolled aroundthe dirt with it and dust it off,
and it still looks new. SoI have traveled with a version of
smaller version of this flying back andforth from east to west coast for twenty
(01:11:18):
years, and I think still doesa show any fucking aware And for one
hundred and fifty dollars, realistically, that is really you're getting a lot of
value. Max Edition is so hardto beat personally for their fucking price in
my opinion. There, yeah,it's a thirty six liter pouch. It's
a thirty six liter pack if youif you don't know, that's itshan and
you can put a bladder in ittoo if you need to. So I
(01:11:38):
have a uniform change, all thepertinent tools, all met full medical,
and then I also have a littlebit of bang, a little bit of
boom, you know those type ofextras that you keep with you and signal,
matt pouch, Matt case, allthat stuff. So I pro you
know, you have everything. Sothe idea is, is am I going
(01:11:59):
to go work out of that?Like I would like a large alice pack.
No, I'm not going to liveout it. It's not that type
of pack. But is that theone I could throw in the vehicle.
And if I have to go dosome dirty work, like I have to
run into a building and help people, I have all the tools I need,
Like I go, hey, I'vegot all medical, I got everything
I need. I you know,I can I can stow more fragile stuff
(01:12:21):
like if I don't want to staytactical and I don't want to have my
night vision sitting on my side whereit gets banged into his stuff. Even
even with a pad of case,I could throw that pad of case inside
the top of that thirty six literso it throw in the vehicle, and
I know, if I need toretrieve it, throw the pack on hall
ass because chances are, unless you'redoing some direct action shit, you're going
to have time to be able topost up and you put your noodles on,
(01:12:45):
you know, set everything. Soit's not like it's not like you're
going on mission and worrying about youknow, traversing different you know times a
day until you actually are doing it. So as far as backpacks, I
know, we all have different packdesigns, Like I have an Alice over
here, and then there's everybody hasdifferent you know, combat pants and stuff
you use CRY specifically, right,Pat, that's been your going. Yeah,
(01:13:10):
I got I got lucky. Iwell, I mean when we were
back in the day, we werefucking rocking and rolling all the time,
I had Gen two Cry Multicam combatpants and yeah they breathe, they're nice
to comfortable, integrated epads are beautiful, and yeah I've got a pair of
(01:13:31):
I got lucky. I scored apair of G three and one Woodland God's
Plan. Yeah, and I didn'tpay for a small child for them either.
But yeah, they're just they're comfyand yeah, my main draft of
them is you know, the integratedE pad. I really do like that.
And they do are very very comfortable. So I mean if you're doing
(01:13:56):
a lot of shitloader range shooting andall that. I mean the guys that
am that are doing stuff, Yeah, they wear them for a fucking reason.
They're fucking nice. So I dohave an insight on that because I've
worn them before. They're super comfortable. They're not they're cost prohibitive if you're
not combat shirt. Not so much. I never really got into that.
It's kind of a whatever. Youcan get an issue one that's multicam and
works great, super comfortable that foundto be uncomfortable. Uh yeah, well
(01:14:19):
because you have chaf titties, allright. So some hairy motherfucker and those
old gent two's the ship they madeit out. It was like, oh,
let's just ripple your hair off yourbody. Yeah, some of them
are rough. I've got three anyway, I've got some knockoff stuff. But
I will say this I came across, of all places, Wilco farm Store.
(01:14:42):
Right, I found Wrangler ATS's nowregular ats is not something you would
consider something as like, oh wow, this is fucking something cool. Those
are the pants I was wearing yesterdayat the range. Right, I wear
these exclusively. There's like there's likethe what is it moss gray color.
They've got darker brown, they've gotlighter brown. But they are sooner goddamn
(01:15:03):
good dear tires. But they're supercomfortable. They have functional durability. Think
of them like a think of themlike a really good fitting uh five eleven
pant that doesn't like pinch your nutsand look like you're doing hammer time.
And some but they're heavier, butthey're a flexible canvas like they're phil They
(01:15:27):
have a lot more give. Theyalso fit, they don't they and they
also oh here's the cool part onyour belt. So they actually are taller,
so you you actually like a sack, like let's say you have extra
material above so you won't get burnedby any velcrow if you have them set
up wrongs. They have a higherrise on the waist. Yes, it's
(01:15:49):
not so much a higher it's yes, yes, and no, right,
it's they fit and they're like, hey, let's give you another inch of
material that has a backing on iton the inside. So if you're doing
can still carry with it. That'sa good ship. Super comfortable. So
now that I told everybody my littlesecret and how fucking hot I look at
them. My wife likes me andthem. It's it's a thing. Uh
(01:16:11):
and uh it works out. Sothose oh, I'm wearing some right now.
As a matter of fact, that'sliterally what I have on Bill fifty
and he has to wear hotpants andget Yeah. But they are reinforced knees
all that stuff, and they holdtheir shape really well, so they're they're
comfortable, and they don't look overlytactical like in your face. They just
(01:16:32):
look like you're wearing like khakis butor gray pants. They kind of look
like like Chino's almost yeah, like, yeah, look like Chino's. But
then if you're wearing like your Solomon'swith it now you I might kill me.
I oh yeah, let's go footwearalmost like a bunch of dudes who
went up the Fort Lewis one time. Almost yes, So I do have
(01:16:53):
a question. I know we're deep, but it doesn't matter. Love this,
love us all. But what doyou you wear combat? Uh?
You wear combat boots? You actuallyhave marine issue combat boots, right?
Yeah? Yeah, I have twopairs of boots. I normally just wore
them the marine boots that I boughtback in twenty eleven. They still fit.
They still can't kill them? Yeah, no, And they were rejects
(01:17:14):
too. I have no idea whatwas wrong with them. They punched a
hole in the in the tongue. That's what made them a reject. Yeah,
that's serious, But that's what marksthem as a reject. They punch
a hole in the tongue. Butthere's nothing wrong with them. Stitch stitch
hole was out of play. Yeah. I can always take them to a
cobbler and get them resold, whichI think in the next three years I'll
probably need to do that because theyare wearing down. Still, get a
ripper sole. Those fuckers are noisy. Yeah, don't and don't get a
(01:17:39):
get colber next to me. Hehas a really good selection of souls.
I just I'm hesitant to go tohim right now because he the devil.
I gave him a pair of gamepair of a chuck of boots, that
I had bought, and I askedhim put a pair of real soles on
the bottom. He did a goodjob on the soul. He thought that
they were oiled leather and they wereactually new buck and so he polished them
(01:18:05):
when he returned them. Yeah, and I was like, the fuck did
you do in my boots? Andit's oil other I know exactly what it
was. And I was like, brouh And so it was. The deed
was done, so there was nothingI could say to fix it. So
I was like, I'll just takemy boots and go home. Killed them.
Yeah they don't look terrible, butthat fun like kind of that Swede
(01:18:26):
feel to and that look look whatthey did with my boy. Yeah,
exactly exactly how they massacred my boots. My boy way. I mean,
the dude's great. I go tohim with my dress shoes and everything.
He does a great job reconstructing shoes. So I can go to him and
he'll just you know, the theDanner boots are basically the soles are glued
on, and so yeah, there'ssome there's some leasing that comes through,
(01:18:48):
but yeah, he can he caneasily replace those. I think he'd even
told me he knows how to doit, but no, and they they
just they run. They're a littlebit big on me. So I just
wear a pair of under socks andthen a thick pair of boot socks over
the top. And then if you'rerocking snug, you need you need,
you put like a heavy wool sockon. They fit comfortable in your feet,
swell and you don't have any fuckinghotspots. So that's think you can't.
(01:19:10):
But I have these like underlying it'slike you're wearing under armour, but
their socks. I wear those soI don't get blisters. And then just
wear like a pair of cotton bootssocks while you're yeah. So yeah,
so I never have problem my feetbecause I stand out stood on a cement
floor for twenty four years. Andthen another pair of Danner boots that I
had bought that I was going touse to replace, but those I went
I size down and they're a littlebit snug, but they're my backup boots.
(01:19:32):
They're like kind of a ranger ofgreen color and there they were the
Air Force. Oh yeah, Iknow exactly. Boot. Yeah, so
we do you wear those for summerand winter? Are those your all seasons,
the marine temper. They're my allseason. Yeah, they're they're gortex
lined, their comfy. Uh,they have a good soul on the bottom
of them. They're they're all around. They're great. I mean, yeah,
(01:19:56):
you if you get a little coldin the winter, but I've walked
through like a like a little creekin the middle of wintertime and if he
got chili, But I mean,I wasn't getting frostbitdy anytime soon because it
traps your body's moisture in there likea still suit, so you kind of
you know, you warm your feetup naturally. So why no, We've
(01:20:17):
been deep in this for quite abit. So I've got fuck you,
buck, What do you wear foryour winter, winter and summer? I
wear gortex Solomon's okay, so that'smy go to. And then that's that's
Those are strong because they're lightweight enough, and I wear and I I've value
checked and pain checked these bitches. One hundred and fifty degree asphalt or below
(01:20:40):
zero. You can't kill a manin there. So before we go,
there's one thing that I wanted totalk about real quick. There is a
divergence in belief systems on certain partsIR patches in today's world versus yesteryear,
when you could wear anything you wantright and no one has anything that can
it or bounce light off of it. So I think that's going to be
(01:21:02):
mission dependent where you're at dependent. If I were going to go into a
situation that I was concerned, Iwould strip everything I R and go slick.
I could go moto patches that arenon ir I would care right or
go in the dark's fine, butjust not you know, reflective. I
are reflective unless it's something you knowfor sure, or if your unit sop
of something that has directly only onyour back that is something that or on
(01:21:26):
top if you have aerial that thelikelihood of someone blowing your lid up is
not so good. Last, butnot least, I guess yeah, I
think we've covered quite a bit tonightin terms of stuffs. On the other
statement, oh holy shit, Ifinally figured out what the what the issue
is with my boots. The onthe marine temperate the toe box. There's
(01:21:47):
a there's a special covering like ahard plastic that goes over the toebox.
Mine's just a little bit too big. Oh okay, and then you I
mean there are certain things. I'msure we'll get into winter gloves, some
gloves, all that kind of stuff. Some work gloves. Blah blah blah
blah blah. Oh, that's onething. Gloves. I actually just randomly
(01:22:09):
found my backup boots. I havethe eight inch US Air Force TFX temperate
military boots. Those the backups Ihave for even cool weather. If I'm
shooting, I tend to use abear hand, so I'm used to using
with no gloves or if you're like, if I'm really just shooting the gun,
but because I have a can onmy ten to five, you're right
(01:22:31):
there up against it, so Irun. I do run a glove on
my left hand, so I'm notquite like Michael Jackson on the other side.
I use it on the other hand. But the fact is is that
gloves are very perishable, So Irun motorcycle gloves like fast house like dirt
bike gloves. They are tacky enough, and they're tough enough because you're designed
(01:22:55):
to kind of fuck your hands upand crash them and slide your hands on
the ground that they do last, and they will keep your hands clean and
you can hold onto shit and youwon't get hot spots. On your hand.
They are they will help with theheat resistance. I'm not saying they're
like made of kevlar or anything, but they do work pretty good. And
they're like, you know, twentysix bucks a copy, depending on what
you're buying. Yeah, those area little bit more, but those are
just an example. I have theMechanics gloves. Yep, those are good
(01:23:18):
too. I have a set ofthose, but that's for work stuff.
Yeah, and those I've had.Y See, he's gonna do like the
sticket and the thing. You know, you wear these, you get this,
so you know, is that typeof deal. So yeah, those
are that's a good option. There'sseveral companies out there, so Box makes
good stuff. Just find a company. Gloves are like boots, and gloves
(01:23:39):
are like helmets. You have tofind a manufacturer that the glove fits your
hand, because a nine to ten, a medium, small, large,
depending on how like. You know, you buy a flight glove and an
eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, you know that style.
It doesn't mean that they're all madethe same, right. You can get
a roth Co or you can getanother company and all of a sudden,
the fingers are different. So yougot to find something that works for you,
(01:24:00):
because you want something that's going tobe you could trust and that you've
got to have his experience with. And then you also are willing to do
some modifications so you can like hangthem on a on a d ring or
whatever. And then if you're goingto run anything that has retention, like
you have to lanyard by something that'srated and then use a like a petzel
(01:24:20):
locking d ring, something that's actuallyclimbing rated and then pop your lanyard against
that. You know that on thatlevel, h so, and that that
is everything is going to be ratedin a place that you're not going to
have a part fail so you takea death. So those are things to
consider. Now the fact that thoseare are those who are those made by
(01:24:41):
those mechanics. Yeah, so Iso you'll have the prices right twenty one.
Yeah, I have them in intan, so they're kind of like
this this same color as the palmall the way around, and I got
them for about twenty dollars twenty fivedollars on Amazon. But yeah, bell
crow On there got the loop soyou can you can hook them on something
comfortable, breathable and that fabric onthe hand is a touch screen. Oh
(01:25:08):
yeah, same thing with so Iwas able to, you know, run
my phone yesterday while we're out shooting. I had had to get a little
used to it. When I wasshooting and one of the drills that we
got on camera, I actually hadleft my glove on if I have to
take it off, and so Idid slip on the retention on my holster
when I went to go draw myhandgun. Interesting, so I thought about
later as I was watching the video. Oh yeah, I was wearing the
(01:25:30):
glove and I'm not used to it. I'm used to having my bare hands
interacting with my handgun. I addeda slight. I used a little bit
of one momently, a little bitof cord, right, yeah, a
little bit of So. I usea little bit of flexible chord and made
it so I have a retention soI can just hang the gloves on a
d ring. These fits super legit, super tight, and there's a lot
(01:25:50):
of flexibility. It's like having likeyour own skin, so you lock up
and these are super They fill everythingand everything my hands full. I've used
these a lot. Now here's thebest thing I use. What you do?
I use SKD the pig gloves thatare thinner, and then I use
the actual mechanics glove for impacts oversized, so I could just slide them over.
(01:26:13):
That's smart. So there you go. If I'm running, like,
if I'm running these and I've gotmultiple sets. These have been used for
quite a while, so they lookcleaner on camera than they actually are.
They're pretty dirty. But yeah,it's like they smell like gunpowder. Yeah,
this and smells this smells like almostlike almost like a little bit of
Hops nine and a whole lot ofgunpowder. So that's what has going on
(01:26:35):
there. And you want, Yeah, I do a lot doing this.
Yeah, I do a lot ofthat. Yeah. So yeah, and
no, here here's a good here'sa good one for you guys. If
you guys look at if you guyswatch the any of the video footage that
West puts up thats of me,you'll see I'll snap the gun out and
(01:26:56):
I use my left hand to aimthe weapon system in it on target,
and I picked the dot up becauseI've aimed with my with my lead hand.
I'm just holding the gun like youknow, uh, the pistol grip
with my right hand loosely like I'mshaking someone's hand and I'm you know,
keep trying to keep a very relaxedstriker fingers so I have of control.
(01:27:16):
But you use your left hand topoint the weapon and get it oriented on
site, so you're not point shooting, but you are picking up points.
So it's like as a child,we've been we've been told hey, uh
uhh, this is this, thisis this, so and here's a little
exercise you can do. You cansay you can look at that a doorknob
in your room. You can lookat it, turn away, and then
(01:27:36):
reach over and point at it likeyou know where it's at. And now
look down your finger and see howclose you are. You'd be surprised at
how accurate your aiming system is thatway. So yes, exactly grab that
dick, all right. So no, but that's a that's a huge thing,
and I think there's that's often overlookedby most people who do any type
of instruction for shooting. You justgot to go to that primal level so
(01:27:59):
people and stand, hey, thisis not fucking science, it's an art,
and just kind of figure it out. After you start getting reps,
you start determining better grip. There'sall there's all types of little bits and
pieces there. But if you startaiming first by pointing your thumb at something
and you're holding the gun, you'regoing to be a lot closer. You're
going to get those A zone HiT'sa lot easier, a lot faster.
Awesome. Yeah, this was aThis was a long, chunky episode,
(01:28:23):
but lots of great information. Ihope you I hope that you don't have
to cut this up. I hopeyou can just long play the shit out
of it, because you know there'sa lot of mess ups. I'll just
I'll just post it as is.I'll just make sure that the video looks
good because when we go from ourlittle format we have here as a screen
share it, it changes things andfucks up. So that's really all I
have to do is just make surethat looks good. But I'll post it
(01:28:44):
as is. I'll say this too. Avery was missed tonight because he would
have had a lot of great insight. But we probably couldn't have had as
many laughable moments because he would havesaid, no, let's not laugh we
need to we need to impart knowledge. He's the serious one, more sense
of a humor than Avery does.Ouch I'm kidding. The sense of humor
(01:29:06):
is under there. You just kindof got you gotta scrape it away.
You gotta scratch it. Sniff thatmotherfucker. Avery is one of the funniest
people I know. When he choosesto be funny. When he's being serious,
it's like, I don't want tosay anything. It's like I literally
would just want to just sit therelike this and listen. I just want
(01:29:27):
to. I feel like I'm aclass because I'm learning so much. I'm
like, God, damn, it'sgoing in my brain. Dude. For
two and six two he'd be settingthere telling people to be like I mean,
I heard everything he said, butJesus, you fucking drone would do
this the Jeremy for that year orso there, it was just like everything
(01:29:48):
in the house was an opportunity fora tutorial. If you didn't like the
way I loaded the dishes in thedishwasher, he would like like pull the
dishwasher out and like reorganize everything andthen explain me this is the Ultimately he
didn't like, Yeah, he wasjust like, this is if you load
(01:30:08):
the dish I'm just like everything that'sa tutorial from him. Every mom shut
up, he comes, he's likeusing too much seasoning. If you don't
like, shut up and go away? Are you eating it? The fuck
you? All right? So soWes if everybody wants Okay, if you
guys enjoyed this episode, I betthat tip jark a spiraffact dot com is
(01:30:30):
still out there, right it is. Yeah, it's that's still things.
So it's a can spare effect.Tip jar at gmail dot com send us
if you like the episode, sendus a little bit tip to say thank
you for our time, and that'svery appreciated if you do. Uh,
I'm not wearing the Unsuppressed T shirtright now, but ground zoomerch dot com
go there, look for unsuppressed Tshirt. We have a shirt there.
(01:30:54):
Every purchase we'll b that money goestowards us helps us out, so you
can specifically, Wes West does thisship for free? Yeah, Wes is
bitch ass leaves we show up.He makes us sound good. And also
Aftermath, when you guys subscribe toAftermath or get friends to subscribe, every
little bit of that money that goesto those subscriptions pays for my salary.
(01:31:15):
So the more West gets paid, the faster that centered background is not there
anymore. Yeah, yeah, sothere you go. And I'm not an
employee anyway. I'm I'm an independentcontractor, so Aftermath pays my bills.
So the more people we have on, the better I do. So.
And the fact is, guys,is that if you enjoy our content,
because we have definitely started to findour voice now and that is the way
(01:31:39):
we made a very pointed effort.Say, you know what, let's start
talking about gear. Let's start goingto the core of what we were shooting
for to begin with, because thatis a unraveling onion that is never going
to stop. Because when we startseeing parts and pieces and DIDs and thats,
and because there's so many things thatwe blew over in this last hour
(01:32:00):
that there's so many more things todiscuss, things to consider, like there's
parts and bits and pieces. Wejust wanted to start the conversation so we
can start going in the rabbit holeand having a lot of fun with it,
because then we start talking about missionset, we talk about situational stuff
like killing people that are shooting atpeople at a fucking parade, you know,
I mean, I'm just saying thatthat person shouldn't have been apprehended that
person should have been unalived, justsaying so you fucking kill savages and that's
(01:32:28):
been unsuppressed. So uh no,but yeah, yeah, so wes.
I think if they love us,I'm sure they'll they'll help us out.
I know we have at least oneor two people who listen, and I
know that this is the kind ofcontent that will probably double it to full.
Please comment, let us know ifyou like it, yes, so
we can also harass you why weread it. Yeah, sure, content,
We appreciate it. Guys. Also, be careful when you go to
places like Reddit and listen to people'sevaluations and stuff, because chances are they're
(01:32:53):
fat slots' train. Yeah you know. I go to Reddit to find like
links to things like if there's aviral video of like, you know,
someone get their head blown up orwhatever, or you know, someone getting
killed in a freak machine accent.I go to Reddit to get a link
to that video. That's all read. It's good for because I have read
(01:33:14):
shit from people on Reddit that isone hundred percent false, Like people were
reporting that like Paul Harrell was deadmonths ago, so I thought he was
already dead, and then he comesout and he goes, no, I'm
still alive, and then he justhit a million subscribers this last couple of
weeks and he has his goldplay buttons. That's that's great. But so yeah,
you cannot trust Reddit. It isliterally the graffiti that is on the
(01:33:36):
bathroom stall at a gas station. It's well, I mean that goes from
reliable information. Every that goes foralmost every Internet outlet. You need to
do cross referencing research and start weighingthe facts and then start looking at people
that you have like there's an ongoingtrust relationship. You're saying, hey,
I've had good information with this sourcemany times, cross reference it and determine
(01:33:59):
whether or not you want to makea make a purchase. So that's intuition
people. Yeah, I don't.I don't. I don't get something to
go, oh that might work, then fucking do it. If you look
at it, go if it's notone hundred initially, don't fucking do it,
and then do some more research.I don't endure stuff that I haven't
used extensively. And that's just becauseGrand Thumb and Kentucky Oh god, sorry,
(01:34:21):
butcher to shit. Use it doesn'tmean it works for you. Kentucky
Ballistics at all. Thank you guys, kuy carry established your mission. Like
I said, it's just like anything. Avery had a great idea about the
DNA of a greater understanding and development. Uh, you should look at that
episode as a while back. Butreality is you need to establish your mission,
(01:34:42):
find out sure why, train toyour goals, and set achievable goals
in life in the gym on therange, you should do all those things.
And motherfucker wes tell them what theygot to do to stay on suppressed.
Remember, guys, whether it's yourFirst Amendment, rights, second memor
rights through all the others, makesure you stay and suppressed and we'll see
you next week. Say this manplay Amber wiz a great Yes, Yes,
(01:35:06):

for the snk up pet. Yeah, alright, three two one. We're
