Speaker 1 (00:17):
Welcome everybody to a special episode of Uneducated MMA. This
was gonna be a fun bonus episode where we're gonna
go over this summer, this summertime baby. Basically this episode,
I wanted to go over the fun pay per views
that are gonna come out as the summer goes on.
They've already really announced the main events for him, they
haven't really dived deep into I guess the later on cards,
(00:37):
but we'll get into all that.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Don't worry about.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
It later on as the summer goes on. We're gonna
be releasing this content, obviously giving you the deep dives.
But today's just gonna be a fun episode with me
and Ari here, just gonna go over to some of
the main ones and some of the fun ones that
we think are gonna happen this summer and whether or
not they will happen.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
But we'll get into that as the episode goes on.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
But yeah, other than that, of course, joining me is
always yeah, meth can't you know the world?
Speaker 4 (01:03):
Horry?
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Hell yeah, And it's always I'm the one and only
the want in a million wonder bred himself.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
God, I hate the wand jokes, but at some point
you just gotta.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
Go with them. Yeah, man, gotta embrace it.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Honestly, I feel like I really don't. I would never
put this on my kid ever in my life, you know,
so nobody probably has it worse, though, I like, I
don't know if there's like Spanish one jokes, I feel
like I don't hear them.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
But I told my parents, I'm like, you know, I
got like bullied horribly. It's like as a child, And
to this day they still come at me and they're
they're like, Noah for what They're like, my.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
My name, it's pretty, it's pretty, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Common They're like, no, but who would have guessed that
was gonna end up happening with the name.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
It all has to do with the day, broo, do
the day?
Speaker 4 (01:48):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
It's funny because like shout out to this, you know
what I mean? My birthday is June twenty fourth, Send
gifts to the peel box of the podcast whatever camera's
on me right now. I was born on June twenty fourth,
which is I guess Saint John Baptist Day, which is
San Juan Bautista.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
So that's why they named me Juan if I was
born on any other day. Lord knows what insane Dominican
name I would have had. I'm not gonna say their
names on this podcast, but if you know my siblings
and the names they previously had before they legally changed them,
dear god.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
It's pretty intense. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
My parents would be like, oh, there's gone theme flying
and thing over here. We're gonna put their names together
and split them down the middle.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
This is your new name.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
Nonsense, Brody. I've seen a lot of a lot of
people do that. They mixed like mom and dad.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Name, yeah, and then I create name. I get it
to an extent. But sometimes you hear and you're like,
it's mad Dominican. Bro's mad Dominican. You can tell Dominican
by the name Bro. I'm not gonna lie. I feel
like most of the times, it's.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Like Dominican women have like some of the more like yeah,
for whow what did they They pick out some syllables
out of a hat and they were just like, this
is it.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
You're getting this one of the syllables you can think of.
All right, let's get into these fights.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
All right. So we got a pretty dope summer. I'm
not gonna lie to you.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
We had to get through some bs to get to here.
To kick off the summer, we got UC three to
sixteen Morob Devolish Villy versus Sean O'Malley. Now we are
at this point that this episode will come out. We
have already put on an episode going over UFC three sixteen,
so we don't got to worry about that one too much.
But just kind of going over it in just brief detail.
I'm sure we probably had the same takes on that
(03:18):
other episode. This is going to be Morob defending his
title against Sean. This is their second meetup. Sean has
lost his title to Morob Devolish really in what I
would argue like complete loss, Like there was no question
that he lost round after round and around gets a decision.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
He just lost.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
With this fight going forward, he has made a huge
changeup of himself. He is giving up on smoking weed.
He's cut back on the social media. I guess for
maybe YouTube's sake. He's cut back on gooning. You look
it up. I will not disclose any further, but yeah,
he definitely has changed up his ways a little bit
going into this one, just kind of changing up his
(03:57):
mental headspace. I personally, and I definitely had the same
take before and I will have it again. I don't
think it's gonna be enough to get him this w unfortunately.
I think it'll be good professionally for his career going forward,
but I don't think he's gonna be I don't think it's.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Going to be a big enough change to beat Morob.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
I think he's gonna do a lot better than he
did the first time, but I don't think it's gonna
be enough. I think that Morobs is such a relentless
like wrestling grappling the machine. Yeah, he's really he's a machine, bro.
He really doesn't get tired out then, and he's gonna
if he fails and fails and fails. You do a
great job with your takedown defense, it really doesn't matter
(04:34):
because eventually he's gonna get you.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Hm. You know that's the big part of it.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
I mean, I know you can do the lifestyle changes,
but it comes down to the skill when it comes
to Morob. Like it's taked enough to take time to
take down, like you said, like you really got to
prepare for what twenty five minutes of just like fighting
for your life.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
You got that motive for that.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yeah, you gotta get away from that cage, bro, gotta
go away from that cage. And then along with that,
I guess would also be Juliana Pania versus Kayla Harrison again.
Watch the episod so that we put out for that
one again. But I think by this time this episode
will come out, those fights will probably already happen. I
personally think and knew Kayla Harrison should be the title holder,
but who knows. Julian and Openna has proved me very
wrong before with the Main News, so we'll see.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Maybe she pulled another one out of might figure it out, Doug.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
That'd be crazy if by the time this comes out
we have aunt still she'd beat Kayla Harrison. I don't
think a man of New News comes out of retirement
for that one. I'm gonna be honest with you.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Harrison looks like a champion.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
She does.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
She does like I was watching an interview with her
because they were doing all the embedded and all of
that for the upcoming fights, and she.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Is just so jacked. Yeah, I just don't understand how
she cuts down one hundred and thirty five pounds.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Bro, She's sitting there just brawlick just no next, Like
I could imagine how his body fat. She has probably
such a low.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Very low amount. If I had to guess, bro, very
low amount.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Have you seen a grappling where uh Alex Perera.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yeah, bro, she picks him up easy to be fair,
to be fair, I've seen like Wayley Shang also pick
up like a Francis c.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Gando.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
So I don't know, man, something someone with the leverage,
maybe it makes it a little easier. But she definitely
she definitely looked like in terms of size comparison, Alice
is a big dude, and she looked like she could
it came down to it, she could hold her own,
she was able to She was able to get him
against the wall.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
She won't die.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
No, she won't die and not saying something. That's saying
something from a light heavyweight champion of the world. Yeah,
and he's out of here, fight for his life. Make
sure he doesn't get taken down. Yeah, that'd be something
crazy to watch. Yeah, I think that we're probably gonna
get a new I don't know about it still is
going to happen. I think that I don't know, Maybe
she wins by decision. I don't know Juliana opinions. She's
(06:36):
real tough. So I feel like, as much as I
have said that, I think that it comes down to
getting taken down and just beat up on the ground.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
Who knows.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Maybe she's good enough on the ground that she's able
to at least avoid some damage and just kind of
wear her out get her into that round four or five.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
But I don't know if she'll do enough.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
To be able to maintain that title.
Speaker 4 (06:52):
Maybe she does that off experience, you know.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
That's what I'm saying. You got IQ.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
It may be, but you have seen her in some
worse positions than able to kind of you her way
out from.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Like Kayla Harrison's still kind of like a fairly new fighter.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
I would say, it's not necessarily fairly new. It's just
that like her coming over from the PFL, she's a
multiple time champion over there, she just didn't have the
level of competition that she has now, you know what
I mean that Like that's that's the difference. It's like,
I guess it'd be like playing overseason and coming over
to play in the NBA kind of thing, you know
what I mean, Like.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
You've got some you got some pretty good competition over there.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Do not get it wrong, but you're definitely there's something
different in the water over here. Everybody is a problem,
no matter.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
What it might be.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Like I've always said it, like obviously the women's division,
I've said it a thousand times, you know, the whole
thing with the gap and level. But like I also say,
there's some people that will give her some problems here
and there. I'm gonna be honest with you as much
as I was on the hype train, I don't know
if either of these women win. If Amanda comes out
of retirement, I feel that I don't think. I don't
think it's going to be enough to get her to
(07:49):
come out. She's not gonna get a bag big enough
to make it like let me eat, let me Because
like I was listening to Morning Combat today and they
had this question like do you think that that would
be a main or do you think that that would
be a comin event on a pay per view.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
I think it would be a comin event.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
I think they'd be the second and then they would
have a bigger probably like another like a Male championship
Jones fight or Yeah fight right before or something like that.
I feel like that's usually the spot that they'll get. So
I don't I don't think that one's gonna be anything
too crazy, but who knows.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
We'll see, we'll see, yeah, right, I guess we would
have saw.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Since this one comes out after How Does Time Work?
Maybe that should be the podcast. We just go over
time in the space time continuum.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
If you go forward, if you go backwards, yeah, if
you if you go fast enough backwards, m you might
you might get there m anyway.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
So tomorrow, yeah, that'll be a podcast for a separate day. Yeah,
it's just gonna come in here. We're gonna go to
be me. You justin and we're gonna get Neil the
Grass Tyson here just explained space to us fire all right,
So that'll be the card to kick off the summer
is going to be UC three sixteen. And then right
after that, surprisingly enough, man, we got some fight nights
(08:59):
at a cooking up and they're pretty good.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
Man.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Right after that we got Kamara Usman again, this is
a fight.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
A fight.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
We got Kamara Usman versus Joaquin Buckley is.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
The main I know he's not Spanish, but I like
seeing it like that. I feel like you can't have
that name, and I'll say, like that Joaquin Buckley. Yeah,
I think that this one's going to be one of
those passing of the torch moments. We had this conversation
a few episodes ago where it was like, you see
a lot of these guys now that they're just getting
taken out left and right. Man, A lot of the
guys that we for a while were like big fans of,
(09:29):
we're seeing them on the way out in a good
way or a bad way, mainly in.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
A bad way.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
New people now taking over the game.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
For sure, And I think this is one of those
things that we have, like is your level of experience
going to get you out of this situation where you're
fighting some young and hungry guy like a hawking Buckley
who's coming up and trying to get that belt and
he's already got a hitless and unfortunate Kamara Usman is
one of them.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
Like, if you're like a fighter to have a hit list, yeah,
you have like a little booklet that you kind of
just like he did one of the crosses them all.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
He did one of the coolest things I've seen after
like a post fight promo where they're like, who do
you want to fight next?
Speaker 2 (10:03):
He goes to the crowd. All right, I'm gonna list
out three names.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
You guys, yell who you want me to see out
the like see me fight the most And he yelled
out the three names. Kamara Ousman, I would say, probably
wasn't one of the loudest ones, but definitely the one
that made the most sense, I would argue at his time,
I think he called it like Ian Garry as well
and such, but I don't think that that. I think
he was too high up in the rankings that it
didn't really make a whole lot of sense. So they
decided to go with the Kamara Oosman and we'll see.
(10:27):
I feel like with this one, he gets a win
title shot.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
He's like the gate's gatekeeper. So he gets past him.
He's title shot.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
He is title shot. Damn imagine we see Kamara Usman
get knocked out again?
Speaker 4 (10:38):
Yeah, or what if Kusman like revives his career at all.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Will So that's honestly, I think that I've been tee
that'd be insane, that'd be insane. One thing I've been
teetering on with this whole thing when it comes to
Kamara Usman is that he did give Hamza Ramaia of
the work for a good amount of the fight.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Like I'm not.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Saying he won it in any sense of the word,
but as the fight went on, you saw the experienced
kick in and the fact that he was able to
like maintain I guess his cardio a lot better. So
you got to the point where near that end of
that fight he was he was laying in some good shots.
He was doing well with the wrestling. He really didn't
have to worry about it too much. And with a
guy like Walking Buckley, I feel like Buckley's just like
I mean, he does the wrestling, but I don't think
(11:19):
he's going to try to stick to that. I think
he's going to try to strike with with Usman. I
think that's his path the victory that he's going to
try to take.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
And like USMA, like even even the fights against Leon Edwards,
I feel like he did a good job. It's funny
because like the people that get that are falling off
are still showing that they still got it. They do
like like the same way Adissanya was the last fight.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Like, but that's the that's the thing that we're talking
about here, is like do they have it enough to
still like stay in the rankings. That's that's the part
that becomes difficult because like, man, you like you said it, Izzy,
you see it, man, But then the performance comes and
he just can't pull the trigger, and you're like, bro,
I need you to if you're going to stay in
this top five, if you want to, if you want
to go for that title, you need to be able
(12:01):
to pull that trigger and you need to be able
to perform. If not, what is this saying going out
on your shield, This is gonna be It's gonna be bad.
It's gonna be real bad. Like we saw Gilbert Burns
Good knocked out very recently in round one.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
I don't need to see Kamara Usman go down like that.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
Was that Morales?
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Yeah, that is a problem. Go luck like that, Dude's
an absolute problem.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
By where we are, where we at in the welterweight rankings,
all right, So again we're just going over these briefly.
We'll go into them deeper, and who knows, by the
time we actually get to these fights, when they're actually happening,
these rankings might completely change. So these are just as
we're going over them today. We got Kamara Usman sitting
in at rank number five, and then Buckley's in and
then the smooth seven. I feel like if he beats
(12:42):
Usman again ahead of him. This is at the time
that we're recording this, He's got Leon Edwards ahead him,
Shov Cockramanov, Sean Brady, and Balah Muhammad. I feel like
he beats Usman. Maybe he has one more than a
title shot, or depending on the landscape.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
You might just get a title shot by Yeah, that
wouldn't be a bad one.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
I feel like he has maybe one more if we
gonna if he sleeps Usman though I'm talking night night,
puts him to bed like I would, I would argue
good Ko, not a crazy Ko. But when he when
Buckley knocked out wonder Boy, that would was one where
everybody was like, wonder boys, I haven't been knocked out.
What did we just see here? Like that was crazy.
(13:22):
So if he can do something like that where he like,
I don't know, man round two Blitz just starches title shot.
I think he'd get a title shot off of that
one for sure.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
We'll see after that.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
We got rosanama Unis versus Miranda Maverick on the same
fight night card. This is one where again I wouldn't say,
actually what this one wouldn't say it's passing to the torch,
where this one is more so like, uh, like.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Let's check in, Yeah, let's check it.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Where where are we right now with rosnama unis because honestly.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
She's been fighting a while, she's been fighting.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
A hot minute. I don't know if she can keep
it going at the pace that she's at again trying
to fight the top contenders.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
Lose the last the last uh don't remember, Let's see
who what do you think.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Let's say Rose nama UNA's last fought is Aaron Blanchfield.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
That's what it was. She did lose.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
She did lose that one, she lost by decision. Before that,
she did beat Tracy Cortez. So she's kind of on
the same wavelength of like win, lose, win, lose, win lose,
but like I'm gonna be honest with you, like the
people that she lost to are the two people that
one just recently fought for the title, which was Manan Ferro.
She lost against her, and then in twenty twenty four
she lost against Aaron Blanchfield, who over this past weekend
(14:29):
had that weird fight night moment where she was supposed
to fight Macy Barber. Macy Barber had to like step
up because she had allegedly a seizure as she was
walking out to the fight, So she doesn't really get
to move up or down. But either way, I would
say she's still in like that title contender. Spot has
one more to go or maybe next in line for
the title shot. So I think Rose is in a
(14:50):
weird spot where she's already lost the two of the contenders.
I think even with this win, she's just kind of
like floating around like probably like that like six seven range,
you know what I mean, Like she probably need around
two more to be able to get back in that
title shops, like Spot.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Proved proof to us that she still kind of got it.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Yeah, we'll see, Bro. I don't know, this is this
is upsetting, Bro.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
I don't like.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
I don't like where we have these fighters in the
spot where you have everything in the world. You had
these crazy.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Moments like I remember, like two years ago, we had
the highlight moment of her being like I'm the best,
I'm the best, I'm the best, and it was everywhere
so inspiration and I were like, does she even got
it anymore? It's only been two years, Like, that's crazy.
That's a fast decline, bro. I feel like unless you
get like an injury in other sports, you don't really
see people that have such a fast decline, like in
I guess a season.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
If you want to consider a lot of it, like
when it comes to this fighting things like mental man,
you have to really be on your savage shit.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
That's why I'm interested with the Shan O'Malley stuff. If
it was that, like genuinely did all that change in
your mentality and all that uh spiritual awakening if you
want to call it whatever that is, if you were
able to actually like change your mindset enough that in
a short period of time, I mean this is only
been like a couple of months, be able to like
overcome whatever that was.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
You know, maybe he's a little sharper and focus a
little better.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
I hope so, man, that'd be dope to see. All right,
Moving on to the next fight. Night after that, we
got Jamal Hill versus Khalil Junior. This is the one one.
This one got announced.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
I was like, take my money, take my money, even
though I already got ESPN, Take my money again, bro,
just make that one a pay.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
Per view, a black on black crime.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
This I always got to keep us down.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
Man.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
This is gonna be a dope fight too.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
Man.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
This is gonna be the first team all violence for sure.
As much as like we give Jamal Hill all kinds
of gripe in the world for his actions and his
attitude towards people, sometimes like you can't lie that dude
would be like, put me in that fight and I'm
swinging like I'll go down on my sword, no problem.
And then with Khalil round you Jr. That is one
of my favorite fighters.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
I will tell you.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
Right now on this roster of all the weight classes,
one of my favorite fighters. The dude went to tay
Lane and he's like, I got to learn this more
tight clinch and see what this is about. And now
he's blowing people's knees out and just straight up elbowing
people to death.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
It's fantastic to watch. I think that this are gonna
be I think this was gonna end the KO early prediction.
Khalil Rowntree takes it full bias, full bias, I agree,
but also genuine skill. As much as Jamal Hill is
the taller fighter with probably more reach.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
I don't know, man.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
We saw we saw how Khalil did against Alex, and
I feel like with that power he can he can
get him.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
And like Jamal Hill still hasn't overcame that, like that
knockout broken leg.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Yeah, he just lost against too.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Yeah. You know, like mentally, I feel like he hasn't
gotten back into a place where he's confident. It's really
like you can see his like attitude change throughout those
fights little by little, talking so much shit. Let me
see if I can gotta lock in, Bro, he tried
to lock in and I still got pieced up by it.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
If you're not that guy, don't try to be that guy.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
That's a problem.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
If you're really if you're not that that's not like
the way you carry yourself outside of the camera life.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
You can't do that while you're getting the cameras. You
just tell it's fake.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
Yeah, we can tell what it's fabricated, Like Bro.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
The UFC three hundred stuff where he's like yo, Simi
Jerry or Simi sweater and like he's like taking photos
with Alex and he's being on buddy buddy and then
come to press conference, he's got his head on the
chain in the whole It's like.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
Bro, what is that?
Speaker 3 (18:24):
That switch up is what makes it feel like fake
and authentic? You're like, I don't like this no more, Bron.
That's why I think a lot of people kind of
fell off the Jamal Hill hype train.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
That the tattoos is a whole thing. But I think
that a lot of people fell know.
Speaker 4 (18:36):
Right, it's the worst tattoo. It's the worst.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
It's like almost Mickey Mouse hands. I think I don't
even think the thumbs. I don't know tease, but I
think that that one is like that whole UFC three
hundred bit with Alex kind of got to people off
the hype train. And then also like the losses like
you brought up also kind of make people go away.
But I will tell you this, there's some light heavyweights
knockouts the bound to happen. I find it's crazy doesn't
(19:00):
happen more often, but it's bound to happen.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
You can't win them all.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
I think knocks him out, you got Yeah, I think
I think round tree gets him by round three. Yeah, yeah,
I'm gonna I'm gonna give my prediction, Like how Justin
does it.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
It doesn't happen by.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Two three, Yeah, maybe Jamal got it.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
It doesn't happen to three, then have to happen full five.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Yeah, it is what it is. Great way to bet
if you ask me.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
And then after that we got half Alphazi versus or
I guess because he's not Brazilian Ralpha versus Nazio Mahamun.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
This love that name.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
We're gonna remember him forever.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
Just off of the day, remember the name Nazio Bahamun
do that's not this. This is gonna be a violent fight,
that's gonna be a great one. I think that that
one's gonna be another fight where we're gonna just see
two guys that are ready and hungry for that title shot.
Rapelazi has been, you know, running into Justin Gaetchee and
having all kinds of layoffs off of like some pretty
violent encounters with a couple of people where we haven't
(19:59):
seen him soon were active. But when he's in the octagon,
it's super entertaining. And then with Naimundez, I think after
the UC notes your last year, everyone's on his hype train.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
At this point.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
We just want to see him fight and the closer
he can get to a title shot, the better.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
I don't even know.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
If you had to guess, just off the top of
your head, where do you think he's ranked right now?
If you had to just ranked, I feel like not
that high. I'm gonna have to go like an eight eight.
Speaker 4 (20:27):
Well weight class were talking oh with them?
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Oh yeah, they're lightweight. Think about all the killers that
are in lightweight. It's a fun game.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Duom don don don don dun dude, don't all right,
what's your answer?
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Did you stick away eight? I wanna say nine nine,
You'd be dead wrong. He's not even in the top
fifteen at all, not at all, So this will so this.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
Would be him cracking.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
No, No, it was a true question.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
I just wanted to see.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
No, this would be him cracking into the the top fifteen.
This would be him basically taking rough up azeve spot
or maybe pushing.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
Somebody else out of the fifty seven. Is what is
he ranked?
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Eleven?
Speaker 4 (21:07):
That's what I'm saying. That's why I thought it was
way closer.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
No, No, so he would be under He's unranked as
of right now. When they fight, he will still be unranked.
If he wins, he'll probably either take his rank or
at least move somewhere in the twelve ish you're so
spot and then go from there.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
Feels about somebody, let's say the top ten fight an
unranked person.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
I think it shows how much the company cares about
you personally. I think it shows like where you're at
in terms of the landscape of how they feel about you.
But I don't know, man, A part of me kind
of likes it because, like sometimes when you like, here's
the thing, not all unranked fighters are like boring. They're
just they just started, you know what I mean, They're
just getting their foot of the door. You'll have somebody
(21:46):
that's unranked, but then you look at the record and
they're fourteen to er. Half of them are more KOs
or crazy submissions. You're like, all right, it's about time
you got your shot. And if for whatever reason, ten
through fifteen are busy, but eight, nine and ten are available,
book it make it happen because like stranger things have happened,
Like we like we always bring up Khalil Browntree getting
(22:08):
his shot at ranked number eight. You can have somebody
within five to ten fight somebody that's fully unranked, and
then next thing you know they're halfway to a title shot.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Like Changer, things have happened. I feel like, if you
can perform enough again, this is gladiators. Yeah, we want
to see blood. We want a white Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
That's what we So that's how they should judge every Yeah,
for sure, for sure.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Would you be cool with that many fighters dying because
I feel like a lot of them movie off of
the strength that day. Dana White, I feel like could
be an emotional guy. So I feel like if he
doesn't like the way that fight went, he'll go up
there just angry.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
It doesn't mean it'd be like kill get him dictator.
Just like you just see the fighter. That's what I'm saying.
He's just the fighters. Like mid press conference, you just
see a bird lap Sackley, you take it away behind
the curtains. It's not slap fight.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
He opens up another one where you see UFC fighters
get thrown into a dog pit.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Yeah, Jesus Christ, data.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
The lion pit. You go.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
We'll get there, We'll get there. But that's gonna be
a good fight night. I'm excited for that one. I
feel like so far where the summer's cooking up. Yeah,
that's just June.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
That's just that's just the beginning of June. Did they
do that on purpose? Probably?
Speaker 2 (23:15):
I would.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
I would hope they probably stack it on the top
half just to get people excited.
Speaker 5 (23:19):
You also like the June teenth, Like, I would just
like to note that not only did I just had
that moment, but Melbourne behind the camera also just White.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
Yes, Data, White is the type to like put it
together that way.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
You know, does it even fall on that, you know what? Technically, Yeah,
it's the June twenty first, You're not wrong, Aina White, Data,
what the data you crazy for that one? Dana, You're
moving You're moving crazy right now.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
You know what we're gonna do for June Teeth we
have to It's gonna be great. It's one of the best.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
The people in the crowd got two Teeth shirts I watched.
You know, never never buy. Whenever we get a patret,
you'll get more. But we're not doing that right now anyway. Uh,
for the rest of that card.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
Honestly, we got a couple of good other fights, but
I'm gonna be honest with you, it's kind of a
steep fall off.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
We got Curtis Blades fighting. I haven't seen Curtis blazing
a bit. You got that one, riz van Kuniv. It's
pretty good. It's pretty good, pretty good to get it.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
Curtis Blades went from fighting Tom aspinall for the title
shots and now he's fighting these unranked nobodies.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
I don't understand how that works right now.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Yeah, but that's that's to show you how bad heavyweight
to set up right now that they got him fighting
these unranked nobody's.
Speaker 4 (24:55):
But you know, hey, trying to get my confidence.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
Back, get that paid.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
And then to finish off June again, this was just
June we already had. I guess we're gonna consider three
sixteen a part of that conversation.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
Austin three sixteen to.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
Top off that one pause is gonna be International Fight
Week if UFC three seventeen.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
I'm gonna be honest with you, We're a few minutes
into this podcast.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
I don't even know. In't really been looking. I think
we're gonna spend the majority of the time talking about
this one.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
I wannt to know why.
Speaker 3 (25:23):
Because the champion has a name, and his name is
Charles Dubronx Oliveda. He will be fighting International Fight Week
versus Eliott the Portia that one is gonna be one
that I think I am just like that's that's probably
Here's here's my issue, guys, and I'm this is a
call out to the fans. Legally, of course, wink legally,
I can't really wink.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Legally. I need you guys to help me figure out
your boy is gonna be? What is that? What date
is that? June twenty eighth, I'll be in Croatia.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
I need.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
You guys to help me figure out how I'm gonna
stream these fights while I'm in Croatia. I'm go'll be
be in a completely different country. I need y'all which
came but this one? This one, this one?
Speaker 2 (26:01):
How did you get to help me figure it out?
Speaker 4 (26:03):
That's just a random country, such a random country.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
I'm gonna be. I'm shooting a movie. Don't worry about it.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
That's hilarious. I would love to shoot a movie. I'm
gonna be.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
I'm gonna be on set in Croatia.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
I need you guys to help me out figure that out,
because I'm gonna be honest with you, I have no idea.
It's gonna be a completely different time zone. I don't
know if any of of my ESPN is gonna work
out there, You're gonna get a VPN.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
We need a VPN spots because like I remember this
this one year it was huge fight. I think it
was Mayweather, Visu, Pakiao, big Ario, Hispory up. He's in
the trenches of d R. Yeah, bro, like no, why
fight nothing, dude?
Speaker 3 (26:37):
That was That was me a few weeks ago, a
few weeks ago when I was in DR it was
not working for Yeah, what'd you get for him?
Speaker 4 (26:44):
He didn't He didn't use the normal ones that we
all use, like the.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
Regular like ESPN, the ones you pay for rightly, Yeah,
for sure, and he found.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Something that was just like I don't know, like like
he was he was the original. We used to call
him the hacker, yeah, because he'd find this before the
streams was more popular.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
He'd find them like that, Like I need I need
to get his contact, brocause.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
If you Floyd Mayweather was pak Yo, ask him what
he got hook up Croatia, bro, get it out because.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
I don't need to figure that one out.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
That dude.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
I just like, there's no way I can miss this one,
mind you.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
This is gonna be this is gonna be an interesting
one because this is gonna be like a birthday trip
type of thing, and I'm gonna be gonna want me
to give them I don't know, like attention and you know,
not looking at my phone and like stop watching fights,
and that's just something I can't do.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
Bro.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
I need you guys again. I already put out a
whole thing with this car, but I need you guys
to listen to this. Aliotaporia versus Charles Lavera for the
light lightweight championship, Alexandra Pantosia versus Kaika France with the
flyweight championship. But Neil Darius versus not the moy Kano.
We got Brandon roy Valve versus Manal cop we got
Paulo Costa versus Roman Copyloft, we got Jack Harmanton versus
(27:54):
Gregory Rodriguez, and honestly, other than that, the rest of
them kind of fall off. I'm not gonna still what
it is supposed to text. No, No, that was the
one that's gonna happen. Later on the fall, they basically
moved the Guadalajara card over to the San Antonio, Texas.
Apparently the stadium that's in Guadalajara just isn't built yet
and ull se is like, we'll figure it out. They're like, no, no, no,
you don't understand. There's no roof, there's no seats. They're like, hey,
(28:16):
we'll figure it out. No, you're not gonna figure it out.
So they move that one to San Antonio.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
But no, this one's gonna be in Vegas. This is
International Fight Week. This is you know, it's weird because
like the UFC, they don't really have like a like
a super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Type of thing, like you see like the one hundred
two hundred, two hundred that doesn't happen obviously every year.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
So with these ones, this is more so like I guess.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
As close as you can get to that in WrestleMania
kind of Yeah, Like from what I've gathered, it seems
like they have two big cards a year. There's gonna
be International Fight Week that happens in June, and then
there's the Madison Square Garden card that happens in November.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
Those are the two ones that they usually.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
Try their best, so like, top to bottom, are gonna
try the best to stack this as best as we
can so that way you guys get like an amazing show.
So I guess I don't know, man, it's it's kind
of like how w W does pay per views, you
know what I mean? Like that, I guess you can
say the UC three whatever. It would be the regular
pay per views and you get those ones that are
more meaningful i'd yeah, like the money in the bank
(29:11):
ones and stuff like that, so.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
You kind of have that Summer Slam. This would be
definitely the Summer Slam for sure with this one. Bro,
lot of lot of things to go over with this
one that we're definitely gonna go in depth, and it's
gonna be difficult for me to cool it.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
But Bro, eliots Aporia, Charles Lavera off top. That one's
gonna be a crazy right and I cannot wait. You're
telling me I'm gonna be in Croatia struggling with this booble.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Wi Fi of stream or something.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
I need a VP.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna get a hot spottom. I
have a five G tower built into a backpack. We
I'm gonna figure it out. I don't know what I'm
gonna do, Bro, I must see if they got files
cable like a drag with wound the plane.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Videos late at night the other day and it was
dude was building his own Wi Fi whatever video that is.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
You said, it's the government is going to put me
on hill, Liz. I don't know if I can bring
those materials on a plane of a pianist with you.
It looks like I'm shaving the beard when I get
out of there, Bro, just.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
To kid like he was building.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
Yeah, I don't need to be putting.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
On a watch, but it was he was making a
little hotspot for himself.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
A shout out to him, Bro, I guess.
Speaker 4 (30:18):
We got we gonna have to get too.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
I'm ready to figure it out because there's no where
I missed this one, honestly, just off the strength of
the main event, Bro, I can't miss that one. Yeah,
I Taporia going into the fight of sixteen and oh
former flyweight or not flyweight or what is it flyweight?
Speaker 4 (30:32):
What am I thinking of?
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Featherweight?
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Former featherweight champion had to let go the title to
basically move up to one fifty five. Was originally scheduled
to fight Islam, but I wouldn't say scheduled.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
That was the thought.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
He was going to give up the belt to go
fight Islam. Then for belt, you had what's his name
Balamaha is funny we had Mohammad versus j DM. JDM
beat Baalamahammed. So now Islam felt like, all right, it's
my time. He moved up twenty seventy.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
He just happened to have uh JDM. Yeah, he just
happened to have JDM on that hit list.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
He for sure did it.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
If it was anyone else, I feel like he might
have not even jumped up there.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
I think he would have done an if it was
JDM or shot cut. I think either one he would
have been able to test himself. I think JDM is
maybe an easier fight for him, but I think that
chopcut wouldn't have scared him away. I think he still
would have done it. So I guess them's the rules now.
It seems if you want to move up to go fight,
there is no more double champ. It seems, at least
as of right now. Who knows somebody might break the rules, yeah,
(31:28):
like Connor DC, like there just isn't a way. I
guess that they want you to be able to defend
both belts, especially in divisions that are like so active.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
I mean, it makes sense I wouldn't want to cut
weight back and forth. And back and forth and back.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
It is kind of cool. So I get it.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
Islam had to move up and wait so he can
go for the one seventy belt obviously, So then, like
I just said, he had to give up his previous
belt at one fifty five. Now we're gonna have Ilia
versus Charles for the vacant one to fifty five belt.
Speaker 4 (31:57):
Who do you got?
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Man?
Speaker 4 (31:59):
I got it?
Speaker 2 (32:01):
You're breaking my heart.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
I'm sorry. Bro. Every time Charlie olives b it's like
every time I see Tuporio fight or even train or anything.
He's a beast. Bro. It's just like, this guy is
such a well rounded fighter.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Like I was on the I was on the un
Educated MMA Instagram earlier, just like you know, scroll and
posted and sharing whatever it might be. And I just
started getting like training videos of his and I'm like, man,
if I see this dude knockout Charles, I'm gonna be like, damn,
he did it.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
But at the same time, I'll be crying. There's gonna
be the dog tear coming on my eye, like like
you know what. It's just like, through his rise, I
became a fan of his. No, it's hard not to, bro,
it's difficult not to. You can't be a hater, you.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
Know what it was too. It is also the Joe
Rogan podcast interview. They hate that they have a lot
of times I've become a fan of of the just
the characters. Sometimes I get that too though, like some
people are way to be some people are not.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Yeah, And when you have something like that where it's like,
here's three hours of them being them, you get a
lot more of their character and who they are as
a person. So like I would argue with that kind
of stuff regardless of like what happens in the octagon,
you kind of like them more so. I feel like,
as much as it was, it went from Ilia taking
out some of my favorite fighters in Volkanovski, your Max
all the way. You gotta respect the hustle and the
(33:18):
level of like yo this, I'm gonna do this, And
then he does that. That's that's pretty oppressive. Talks walks
the wall, He for sure does bro Although one thing
he did do he took back that whole thing with
the nickname.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
I don't know if you saw that he's back to
a matador.
Speaker 4 (33:33):
He's no longer though I would have rather that.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
I'm not gonna like, I know you should have done
to beg is a fire nickname, it is, but you
gotta go back to your roots again. Like I said
it before when we had Sanchez on here, shout out
to Sanchez, you.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
Can't give yourself a nickname. It don't work that way.
Somebody's got to give it to you.
Speaker 4 (33:52):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (33:53):
Pause Other than that, you can't. You can't just just
be like I'm this now that work that way. I
guess if you move, you tell people.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
I had this one friend in college, bro, I had
this one friend in college that he was like, YO,
what up?
Speaker 3 (34:08):
My name is such and such And we were like okay, cool,
and he would just be like, yeah, that's what everybody
just calls me that.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
He's like, this is my real name, but you can
call me this. And I was like all right, cool, cool.
And then we like known each other for like.
Speaker 4 (34:19):
Two three years.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
Right near like senior year, we have one of his
friends come over from where like I think he's from Gloucester.
He ends up coming over.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
He goes, what what you guys call him? And we're like, yeah,
this is his name. He's like, why do you call
him that?
Speaker 3 (34:32):
He's like, that's what everybody calls him and he's like,
nobody's ever called him that ever, and this is like
his childhood baster.
Speaker 2 (34:39):
Nobody's ever said this. He just pulled up, was like,
I'm just now so you can get away with it.
You can get away with it.
Speaker 4 (34:44):
You can't be doing that, boy, because even to this day,
I'm exposed that.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
I'm offended, but I still call him what the nickname
he told me to call him by bro? He definitely
exposed him.
Speaker 4 (34:54):
For sure.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
I would have rock with that. I would never do
somebody like that. But hey, for should we call him that?
Speaker 4 (34:58):
You could call.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
It? It'd be real funny.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
I'd be doing that. I'd be going up to people
like my name is Derek. The community of people out
there that think my name is Derek.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
I guess this is going to ruin it for you.
But you ever go somewhere and you're like, I don't
really Why do you got to know my name?
Speaker 4 (35:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Yo, yo, you just new identity? Yeah, Bro, Derek Sanchez,
pleasure to meet you.
Speaker 4 (35:19):
Ibout to just like start doing that more on?
Speaker 2 (35:21):
I think you should, Bro.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
You got to come up with it, and you just
gotta go into a confidence anyway, coming back to poor
Charles Olivera. Again, I don't want to I don't want
to give away too much, but I feel like this
one's going to be the scrap of the summer. I
feel like, for me, this is going to be the
main event that everybody's gonna be talking about for the
whole summer. We have some crazy cards still to go over,
but I feel like this is the one that's gonna topic.
I just feel like, either which way you go, if
(35:44):
Charles is able to get that belt back, what a story?
If Ilia is able to take that belt, what a story?
And again after that what comes after? You can go
so many different ways in terms of the matchups you
can do, in the stories that you can tell. It
would just be beautiful to see. I will say this though,
Early I don't think has a long time left in
the UFC. I think professionally, career wise, he's just gone
(36:05):
somewhere else. Charles, I think, is on the same wave
like he Like hell he, That's what I'm saying. Like, bro,
I mean, here's my thing, Like, how cool would it
be for him to go take these two belts, defend
them both, and then just walk away right goaded?
Speaker 4 (36:18):
It would be cool because he came into this like
already moving like he's connor. Yeah, it's like, bro, how
should just start a fight?
Speaker 3 (36:25):
Like I would tell you, like a Kobe thirty or
twenty nine and thirty or no whatever is like very
very impressive. But he's sitting at sixteen. Let's say he
gets this other one he's seventeen, defends it once or
twice eighteen nineteen, and he walks away. But he ended
up beating some of the biggest names in the sport.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
At that time.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
Put him on the mountain like that's that's that's some
cold stuff, right that Alexander Pantojia versus kay Kira France,
that one's going to be another crazy one where I
feel like that's going to be NonStop action. Both of
those guys super active, very exciting fighters. I don't see
that one going to be one that I mean, I
guess because they're smaller guys, maybe some people don't put
a lot of weight into it. But I'm telling you, man, Pantosia,
(37:02):
Pantos's he's a slept on goat bro so at all.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
At the same time, it was like Tupouria Seroukian and
Pantosia yeah, those three for some reason caught my attention
when I got into this U. I feel that the UFC,
you know it was It was.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
Definitely like there was one pay per view you were
watching where you saw Pantojo just put on the put
on the work on someone and you're like, who's this guy, bro?
Speaker 2 (37:27):
Because that was the same way I had heard the name.
Speaker 3 (37:30):
But I had because it was a holding with him
and Brandon Moreno, going back and forth. But at the time,
he wasn't a title like contender. So then when I
saw him versus Brandon, he won and he got the
title and he had the whole emotional moment. I was like,
all right, I gotta start watching this guy a little
bit more. And since then, everybody he's fault.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
He's been dusting.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
So I don't know, man, I think that was gonna
be a good one, but Neil dar not. The moy
Cono is gonna be a good one. The Brandon roy
Vale man now cap that's gonna be a good one too.
Paulo Acasta, where have you been? Bro?
Speaker 4 (37:56):
Right?
Speaker 2 (37:56):
Maybe you been? He's going to fight Roman copy Loft,
so I think he might get dusted in that one.
Speaker 4 (38:00):
We will see.
Speaker 2 (38:02):
We will see.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
I don't know man, follow him on Twitter. He has
a lot of life funny moments on there. But besides that,
I feel like he's kind of like in the cut,
you know what I mean, he's just waiting for a
good fight to come across his desk or someone to
give him a fight. Because I'm gonna be honest with you,
I feel like his last couple of ones haven't been
really been anything.
Speaker 4 (38:20):
Exciting in between.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Obviously, we have a couple of fight nights that where
I'm not gonna go in too crazy. There's a finance
right next to that one that goes Derek Lewis versus
Towson to Shia. Okay, the rest of the rest of
that one isn't any too crazy. Shoutout Massachusetts own Calvin Cator.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
He'll be on that one. Junior Tafa was gonna be
on there versus name. What is his name, Tuko Tokosko Toko.
So that's his name, right, my bugget on that one,
Tuko Tokos, Tuko, Tokos, Toko tokos Shout out Toko Tokos man.
That's just like Pacific Islander as fun, Sam, where's Tuko
(38:55):
tokos from right.
Speaker 4 (38:57):
I'm I'm just assumption that's for sure. He's from the
Pacific Islands.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
Off of the name Tokos.
Speaker 4 (39:04):
Yeah, it's definitely tik tiki.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
Okay okay, torch Bro, where's this man from the caves?
Speaker 4 (39:14):
Are fucking from the Cays? He's just like.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
He's from England.
Speaker 4 (39:26):
From England, he's not You gotta grew up there.
Speaker 2 (39:29):
But that's not what is from the U K. And
there's nothing else you.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
Can tell me from the uk keeople looking into that,
shout out to Tokos after that. Rolled into UC three eighteen,
Oh man, that's funny. Roll into u C three eighteen
in July. Oh man, this is another one that's gonna
break my heart. Man, this is gonna be one that
(39:52):
This is one win, lose, draw, any m M A
fan for the last two years, will be emotional. Max
Holloway versus Dustin Poier and Dustin Poier's retirement fight in Louisiana.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
There's no way you won't get emotions.
Speaker 4 (40:10):
Literally, Gamby Bro.
Speaker 2 (40:14):
He made a name for himself for sure.
Speaker 4 (40:16):
I'll tell you that.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
It's gonna be one that's gonna be crazy. This is
this third meeting.
Speaker 3 (40:21):
Each fight has been a scrap bro and obviously we
have both of them coming off of like unfortunate losses.
I would say Dustin Poier is definitely in this mode
where he's like, all right, title shot is out of
the way, let me take this retirement fight and let
me move on. And then the U bingo you see,
He's like, we're not gonna let you walk away nothing
(40:41):
without anything. We're gonna give you Max Holloway for a
BMF title. That's just said, and there's anybody that gets
it besides yourself. Of course, it's gonna be Dustin Poitier
or Max Holloway. Do you think do you think that
like they both retire, that's been something that people have
been like floating around.
Speaker 4 (40:57):
They both just like put the put the hands up
and both dropped the gloves.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
Both dropped the gloves.
Speaker 3 (41:01):
Because the thing is like with Max, Max Holloway is
in a very similar position that I would argue Dustin
Poria was in you are so good, but you're just
not good enough to beat the guy that's holding the belt.
You had Dustin Poier who had to fight with Kabib
and then Islam and was just and then also Charles
Lavera and just could not get the belt.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
He just could not get it.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
And then you have a Max Holloway who had to
fight Volkanovski three times, all three times lost and then
got a crack at ilia and got knocked out for it.
Speaker 2 (41:31):
He did be Gechee.
Speaker 3 (41:33):
That's a that's a good way, and he got to
be a me F belt. So he has a belt,
he's got a title. But again we had this conversation.
Speaker 4 (41:39):
Before it could be Gechee. You could, you could do.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
It, you could stay in it, but can you beat
the can you beat the champion at the end of
the day. Some of these guys, like listen, they love
the money, do not get it twisted, but they also
love I feel like the hunt for the belt and
I feel like Max Holloway now at lightweight.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
I'm gonna be honest with you, bro, there's some.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
Killers up there that I don't know how well he
does against him, Bro, Like you're gonna tell me him
versus like an Armis Rukian. That's a tough fight right there.
To you still got you still have Eliot. Now he
moved up to one fifty five, did you rematch him?
Speaker 4 (42:10):
It's like, damn I can't escape this motherfucker.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
He's already beat Justin Gaigie, so I guess he's got
him out of the way.
Speaker 3 (42:14):
But man, I don't know. I feel like him at
one fifty five. He's got a couple of exciting fights.
But I don't know if necessarily I would say, I wouldn't.
I wouldn't recommend it personally. I don't think that'd be
a smart move on his a.
Speaker 2 (42:26):
I don't think.
Speaker 3 (42:26):
I think it's one of those things he can he
could beat him. I think he could beat him for sure,
But I just think right now I wouldn't be the
smartest move to do. He's sitting at Max Holloway, sitting
at number four, Dustin Poorie is sitting at number five.
So after he leaves Max Holloway surrounding him, I should say,
you got Hooker, Dan Hooker at six, You got Gae
Chee at three, he's already beat gai Chie, you got
Charlie Charles olivera two.
Speaker 4 (42:46):
When he's about Hooker.
Speaker 3 (42:47):
Who Max, I don't know. I don't think so that
would be a good fight. That would be a good fight.
But again we're talking. We're talking like rankings here though,
like what gets you closer to the belt. I don't
think that gets you necessarily close to the belt.
Speaker 2 (42:59):
But come on now, all the way, let's.
Speaker 4 (43:03):
Give us some good fights.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
And he's given us nothing but good fights. And he's
young and he's still.
Speaker 4 (43:10):
Been at it.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
No, they never they never fought.
Speaker 4 (43:13):
That's a good fight to just have.
Speaker 2 (43:14):
That'd be another good be at meth belt.
Speaker 4 (43:15):
I'll tell you this.
Speaker 3 (43:16):
If he beats if he beats Dustin, you throw him
in with a Dan hooker. But again, it's also the
thing of like your health, bro, that's something that like
it needs to build back up to get back going
to like.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
It's tough to build back up when you're sitting at
number four, bro. Like he's sitting at number four at
the lightweight.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
So if he wins this, if he wins this, he's
in the talk to be able to be one of
the guys that get a title shot. Maybe you give
like because you have to remember Arma Sloukian is sitting
at number one, but they don't like him right now.
They don't like him right now, So I don't know
if he necessarily gets a shot, but maybe you do,
Max Alloway, he beats Dustin Pourier and you either give
him Charles.
Speaker 2 (43:50):
You either give him Charles if Charles loses, or Arman
poor Ilia. He just get treated like because he already
be Justin Gaichie. But those are the only three guys
that are ahead of him right now, So you got
to give him one of those three unless you disrespect him.
I guess in a way, well, who else has a
chance that lines up for a title Tupuria wins Justin Gaichi,
(44:16):
who just came off a win, he would be next
for a title shot. I would say Justin Gaichi would
be next for a title shot.
Speaker 4 (44:25):
He is about to get the belt, He's about to
beat Gaichi Bro, He's about to have a run. He's
gonna beat Backs Holloway again, when do.
Speaker 2 (44:34):
You think they give Sirrooki in another shot and he's
gonna be Ski Yeah, Rooki is probably before Backs.
Speaker 3 (44:41):
Honestly, I think out of everybody, I think Subrookian gives
him the toughest test, because in the way that I
think that Islam would have given him the toughest test,
I feel like Surookin is similar to Islam.
Speaker 2 (44:50):
So I feel like that's kind of my my guessing
right there. But that's the MMA. Map that that don't work.
Speaker 4 (44:55):
So I don't know. I like his approach like to
Puria's approach on like his training how separates it all? Yeah,
I don't That's something I would have done, Like I
would not like do mm A altogether and like a
training that separated like oh today, I'm doing boxing today,
I'm doing wrestling today, I'm doing you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (45:11):
Like I feel like when I like play the UFC
games and they break it down like that, that makes
more sense to me. You're focusing on the disciplines. What
are you lacking on? It gets stronger than that one.
I get, like the whole mm A thing. You have
to mix it up and kind of put it all together.
But I definitely think like, bro, if you have ship hands,
you gotta you gotta work on that, you know, I mean,
you can't just like let that be.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
I'm not gonna lie to you though.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
The rest of that card kind of whack, kind of whack.
Marvin Victory, Brendan Allen, Neil Magni versus Gunner Nelson.
Speaker 4 (45:38):
That's that's that.
Speaker 2 (45:39):
This is this is this is that's the co main event.
Speaker 3 (45:42):
Wait wait wait, so we got Max Max Holloway does
apporiate top of the card, Pow Wow, Marvin or Brendan Allen, Steve,
Neil Magni, Gunnan Nelson. We're keeping going Adam Fugit versus
this Islam du Latv.
Speaker 2 (46:00):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (46:02):
Some known people you would think, I mean, I think
it's one of those things that, like, obviously people have
other fights booked or whatever it might be, schedules might
be a bit of a pain, but this is definitely
one of those.
Speaker 2 (46:11):
Like to UC tried their best. They gave us a.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
Really good fight to look forward to.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
But the rest of it, we're gonna have to kind
of eat it a little bit.
Speaker 4 (46:18):
To get through.
Speaker 2 (46:18):
I'm not gonna lie to you, but it is what
it is. And then moving on, we got UFC on
ABC another fight night.
Speaker 3 (46:27):
Technically they name them differently when they put them on
public TV, but it's whatever.
Speaker 4 (46:31):
This one is more so just for one fight in
one fight only.
Speaker 3 (46:34):
Robert Whittaker versus Renada Ridder. That one's gonna be a
good scrap right there. I'll tell you what. That one's
gonna be an interesting one because we've now seen Reneada
Ritter pull up to the UFC looking like a weird
Drenkish too plus E type fighter where you're just like,
his movement is so strange, so odd, but he's finishing
these guys.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
Also Australian Grenada ritter.
Speaker 4 (46:54):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (46:55):
I don't think so. If you had a guess play
this game Rerenada Ridder.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
They're both in New Zealand, Dutch for real Yeah, for
real worlds, known as the Dutch Night. Oh, that'd be
a good one. He's fighting out of the Netherlands and
to familiarize myself with that region a little bit more. Yeah,
after Croatian I finished filming my movie there, I'll go
to the other.
Speaker 2 (47:18):
Lines this action movie.
Speaker 4 (47:22):
Croatious. He was cracking over. Do you guys need to worry.
Speaker 2 (47:24):
I'll be doing some stuff and be having some side hustles.
Speaker 3 (47:27):
I'm a stunt double in Croatia for Croatian films, though
it's nothing you'll see in the US.
Speaker 4 (47:34):
Movie.
Speaker 2 (47:36):
I do some weird LinkedIn searches. Bro I find myself
in some strange spots.
Speaker 3 (47:40):
But we got Robert Whitaker trying to make this comeback
right now to try to get that middleweight belt. I
think the Brenada Ritter has kind of the advantage going
into this one with off of his some of his wins,
and I think that people are gonna look at Robert
Whitaker and kind of like, all right, Bud, time to
move or do something.
Speaker 4 (47:54):
You gotta figured it out. He's another one that's like
he's on.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
That he's on that tail end of that career. He's
near that end. We got a couple more left of
Robert Whitakers before we're gonna see him take.
Speaker 4 (48:04):
That step down in the process, like ed you kid
ever made, it's gonna blow up.
Speaker 3 (48:08):
While the new Yeah, I think we're gonna be definitely
talking more so about like the Carlos Protest, the Ian
Garys and those like younger crop of dudes rather than that,
we're gonna be talking about the Gilbert Burns, the Michael Chandlers,
just pourriers.
Speaker 2 (48:22):
It's unfortunate, but do you know that's the name of
the game, bro. You guys do it on eight or
six all the time.
Speaker 3 (48:26):
You guys talk about these these college prospects and stuff
like that coming into the league.
Speaker 4 (48:31):
It is what it is, bro.
Speaker 3 (48:32):
People get old, you gotta swap out with somebody else,
whoever's exciting. You gotta go with that one. I'm not
gonna sit here and talk about some old bums like unfortunately,
I love it.
Speaker 4 (48:41):
You become a fan of a fighter and they start losing,
and it's it's really.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
Shitty when you become a fan of the fighter right
when they start losing, Like it's happened to me with
a couple of Yeah, you become a fan of like
one guy.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
You see him get two wins in a row and
then it's seven losses afterwards, and you're like, yo, imagine
becoming a fan of Tony Ferguson when he was at
like ten out of twelve out of his win streak,
and you see him win eleven, you see him win twelve.
Speaker 3 (49:06):
He's twelve in a row wins, and you're like, he's
gonna fight Kobeb and he trips over that fucking cable
and then loses it all and now he's what this
zero to seven or whatever in his last set of fights.
Speaker 2 (49:20):
That's a fan that has hurt. That is a fan
that's real hurt right there. I'd be so upset with that.
Speaker 3 (49:25):
There has been Listen, I was a Tony Ferguson fan
off of like the video games and stuff like that.
I feel like that got me into watching his highlights
because like I remember playing UC three and like being like, oh,
I don't know half these people, and then I go
and look up the highlights and go, dude, are savages?
Start watching their fights. UC three came out so many
years in the past. These guys are now five, six,
seven years older, and I'm watching them like they are
(49:45):
not moving like they do in the game. Yeah, decimated
by whoever they're fighting right now. But I think this
is another one of those passing of the torch fights
that we're gonna see here.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
I think I got.
Speaker 4 (50:00):
I don't know who I got on that one.
Speaker 3 (50:02):
I feel like I want to say Robert Whittaker, but
I feel like I've seen R D R handle people
somebody right right.
Speaker 2 (50:09):
Yeah, he had a very good fight.
Speaker 4 (50:11):
The last fight he fought.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
Who was it that he fought recently?
Speaker 4 (50:14):
Were Native?
Speaker 2 (50:18):
It was somebody that Yeah, he fought not that long ago,
Bo Nickel. He beat Bo Nickel, That's what it was.
Speaker 4 (50:22):
Yeah that fast.
Speaker 3 (50:25):
Yeah, Yeah, he fell literally just happened. Yeah, that was amazed.
And he's fighting in July.
Speaker 4 (50:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (50:30):
It was a pretty great trund to be fair, the.
Speaker 3 (50:32):
Bon Nickel fight was easy for easy, but that's that's
kind of I mean, I'm gonna be honest with you.
Bon Nichols an up and coming kind of guy. But
he also kot k O bow Nickel. Before that he
submitted Kevin Holland, and then before that it was Shard.
So he's doing good, man, he's handling people.
Speaker 4 (50:48):
Run. I think he beats Robert Whittaker.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
I think I think I'm gonna lean to if he
beats Robert Whittaker. Who knows guys.
Speaker 3 (50:53):
Like I said, we're gonna have episodes going over some
of these later on, so maybe we change our opinions
right now. But I feel like I alpha THO straight.
Of the last couple performances I've seen, I think I
got RDR and now one I'm not gonna hold you, dude,
your boy right here though, the one eyed Pirate Shary
putin magametof in the in the comin right there.
Speaker 4 (51:10):
I just beat him in a UFC five.
Speaker 3 (51:12):
Did you try to hit you with the spinning backfist?
You gotta watch out for those. He may not be
able to see out of both eyes, but he somehow
can see that one. Yeah, yeah, make it make sense.
That was like my fight to make it to the rankings.
Speaker 2 (51:25):
This one's gotta be in Abu Dhabi.
Speaker 4 (51:29):
They yo.
Speaker 3 (51:30):
When there on like a lot of Russian fighters on
a card, I feel like they're normally they're an Abu Dhabi.
We'll see, all right, just to kind of skip over
some of these, because like there's gonna be some fight
nights in the middle. Obviously, guys, they're not going to
give us every single card is going to be stacked.
Speaker 2 (51:43):
Obviously.
Speaker 3 (51:43):
I would say if you're more of like a hardcore fan,
you're gonna be a little bit more into some of
these ones. We got right after the r DR Whittaker card,
we have Amir al Basi versus Tatsuro Taira. I'm so happy,
thank you. That's gonna be a good one. Have you
heard him yell that one? That's always a fun one?
After he went I'm so high, think you. We got
Roman versus Anthony Hernandez shut out Fluffy right after that
(52:05):
at another fight night, and then to finish off the
summer in August, we got UFC three nineteen d d
P Drincis Duplessi versus hamm Have. Oh, that's gonna be
the one that I think that one actually goes through.
So a part of this I had asked a couple
of questions when I sent the topics, and it has
(52:26):
and it has to be like what are.
Speaker 4 (52:28):
You most excited for?
Speaker 2 (52:29):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (52:30):
What fight?
Speaker 3 (52:30):
What card are you most excited for? What fight are
you most excited for? And then what fight do you
think is going to fall out?
Speaker 4 (52:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (52:36):
Obviously with his record hamzad here, you gotta lean towards
that boy right there.
Speaker 4 (52:41):
I'm not like DDP always makes those jokes like.
Speaker 2 (52:45):
He's gonna die from a cold.
Speaker 4 (52:47):
Yo.
Speaker 3 (52:47):
You can say all you want. DDP has no filter
and will come at people for whatever it is. When
he was fighting Sean Strickland, he goes, I don't know
how bad your dad beat you, but I promise you
I'll do it worse.
Speaker 2 (52:56):
I was like, dear God, dear God.
Speaker 3 (53:01):
He comes at your insecurities, bro, like he knows what's
gonna get you, and he says it and just to
get you heated.
Speaker 4 (53:07):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
He did the same thing with Easy, did it with Sean.
He's probably gonna do what figure on something.
Speaker 3 (53:12):
So far it's been coming at his immune system, which
I think is a little dark but it's fine.
Speaker 4 (53:16):
It's fine. He's the best African fighter.
Speaker 3 (53:19):
Yeah, he's the African champ. Bro, you better respect him.
Ay DDP shout out. That one's gonna be one that
I think a lot of people are going to be
excited to watch. I feel like myself included. I just
homs out's a mystery bro, He's a mystery man. He
pops up out of nowhere, kills like.
Speaker 2 (53:34):
Two or three people, and then disappears again.
Speaker 4 (53:36):
Yeah, I feel like that the cave Man.
Speaker 2 (53:39):
It's just so strange to me.
Speaker 3 (53:40):
And finally he's getting the title shot that technically we've
waited two to maybe three years for. I feel like
when he first popped up on the scene and he
was just ragged downing people. I think this is when
he first entered he was at one hundred and seventy
pounds of well to weight. Everybody was weighing for him
to get a title shot. Had four to five different
medical scares where he had to.
Speaker 2 (53:59):
Pull out a fights.
Speaker 3 (54:00):
They had to cancel events, they had to rearrange, reschedule,
do this that, and the third they had the weird
thing with him and Nate Diz they had to swap.
He ended up fighting Kevin Holland instead of Nate Diaz.
A whole lot of stuff happened in between that was
like a whole weight miss remember too many things to count.
I feel like it's good he's finally getting a title shot.
We all hope and pray here at Uneducated m Made
(54:21):
that the fight actually goes through. But unfortunately, I feel
like if I had a guess on one of.
Speaker 2 (54:25):
These want to not go through.
Speaker 3 (54:27):
Hamza's immune system just has not held out for me
to feel like I could put money on that one.
Speaker 2 (54:32):
Bro, it's scary to think about.
Speaker 3 (54:34):
Like we started to talk about the Macy Barber thing
with the seizons and stuff like you hope the best
of these fighters, salute and everything like that. You want
all the health, but at the same time, like, bro,
get it together and then come fight.
Speaker 4 (54:46):
Yeah, if you're not able to fight, don't fight.
Speaker 2 (54:48):
Then don't fight.
Speaker 4 (54:49):
It's scary, like go fight, go fight that disease verse.
Speaker 3 (54:53):
I feel like it's really as simple as that. I
feel like, you got to get your medical stuff. I mean,
to be fair, these guys do get checked. They do
get a lot of like you know, different tests ran
and all kinds of stuff, especially when they have medical concerns.
So you hope that you do the due diligence and
the UOC doctors and their personal doctors can figure it
out and let them know.
Speaker 2 (55:09):
All Right, Bro, you're good. You can step in that octagon.
Speaker 3 (55:12):
So, Ario, with everything we've gone over today, what card
do you think you're most excited for after everything that
we've kind of listed, if you had to guess, like
just off of the name of the main events, just
like you're like this this fight right here, National Fight.
Speaker 2 (55:26):
We Man, I feel like that's the one that has
everybody in the we're gonna lie and it's the one
that's the most stacked.
Speaker 4 (55:31):
The most stacked. Ye. And it's just off the as
as the if I had to, if I had to
choose one fight, then I could didn't want to miss Yep,
it would be.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
The one where I'm filming my movie in Croatia. I
feel you.
Speaker 4 (55:44):
Yeah, I'm gonna be so tight, bro, Like that's the
only fight at all of them. If I was to
miss it, it's like, dang, that sucks.
Speaker 2 (55:51):
But yeah, I know you're telling me, bro, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (55:55):
But that's the what that's like, you gotta bro, we
go figure it out.
Speaker 2 (55:59):
I told the people I'm going on the trip with
about this, and they were like, Bro, we don't care.
Speaker 3 (56:03):
We will abandon you. You want to go watch your fight,
It's fine. I was like, good, because I will be away.
Speaker 4 (56:09):
Bro. They have to be more supportive.
Speaker 2 (56:10):
This is what I'm saying, Bro, this is my dream.
Speaker 4 (56:14):
You know how hard we work. Again, this podcast going,
so this.
Speaker 3 (56:17):
Will happen in Vegas, So these will still probably be
around like similar time, like eight. Prem will be the prelimbs.
The main card will probably start around like ten. Curatious.
Who knows how many hours ahead this might be.
Speaker 2 (56:29):
This might be me watching them in the afternoon, oh
like three Yeah for me, I ain't go high to
you or maybe three or maybe three or four am.
I'm gonna be exhausted, but you know we're here for it, man.
This is this is how the world works.
Speaker 4 (56:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (56:45):
I feel like that's the one that I'm most excited
for as well. I think international fight. We just have
to strength of how many people are on the car,
the level of fighters that are going to be on
that tenth Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You can't lie the
Juneteenth with Juneteenth merch. You can't lie about that when
I will be dope. I'm getting one of the shirts
Data Data shout out Dana. Yeah, I think that that
one's gonna be the one that I'm most excited for.
But I'm not gonna lie. I think it's weird, man,
(57:07):
because it's a mix of both. It's like that card
is the one I'm most excited for, the ely Tooporia
versus Charles the Lavera fight, as much as I'm a
Charles fan, Like, I don't know if that's necessarily the
fight I'm most excited to see.
Speaker 2 (57:18):
I feel like the Max Holloway doestin Poorie if I is.
Speaker 3 (57:20):
The fight that I'm most excited or that, like, if
I had to, like, yeah, man, I feel like that's
gonna be the one that's gonna have a different energy.
Speaker 2 (57:27):
But the card is trash, though I'm not gonna lie,
like nothing too.
Speaker 4 (57:31):
Crazy, Like this is somebody like he could. I don't
care how many times he loses, just to.
Speaker 2 (57:35):
Watch fan of because you can lose and still lose great,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (57:41):
Like you go and you give a show, people will
clap on your downfall like they don't care. They'll still
cherish you as a fighter. So I think like with
him being like no, like I'm done, Like this is it,
Like I'm walking away, I'm both intrigued to see how
he fights and like, I think it will still be
that war. And I do think addiction, I think we
get this again. Yeah, I think we get if it gets.
Speaker 2 (58:03):
To that to the fifth. If it gets to the fifth,
we're getting that again.
Speaker 4 (58:09):
Man, I love the way.
Speaker 3 (58:11):
I'll tell you right now though, getting knocked out in
your retirement fight is not something I want to see happen.
Speaker 2 (58:15):
Yeah, may go to a violent decision if I had,
if I had to want, if I wanted anything, May
it go to an absolutely violent decision. And we're good
on that one.
Speaker 4 (58:26):
Yeah, I mean, I don't know, medically, hate to see
him get knocked out.
Speaker 3 (58:29):
The metically speaking, is getting your brain rattled for twenty
five minutes straight or getting knocked out in the first.
Speaker 2 (58:36):
What's worse? Give me twenty five minute decision. We'll see
how we go from there, a man.
Speaker 3 (58:42):
So, I just feel like if he goes in there
and he is able to beat Max Holloway and just
get that belt and walk away with it, I mean,
maybe they stopped the whole BMF thing, but like, I
think that that'll be the perfect end to him. Obviously,
you want you want him to walk away with the
lightweight championship. That's the thing that he's been trying to
get for a long time. He was an interim champion,
(59:03):
and you wanted to see him hold the full belt
undisputed in the whole nine.
Speaker 4 (59:07):
But we'll take this right. He's beating a lot of
great yes.
Speaker 3 (59:10):
Man, I think it's I think as a fan, I
feel like there's nothing else you can really want from him,
and just accept this and be like, I'm happy for him.
Fought the Kabe's and he's fought the best of the best.
He's beat Connor, He's made his money. We're gonna be
honest with you. Off of the Connor fights, he's made
plenty of bread. So that's it for this at this point.
It's just like, like genuine accomplishments. That's all the only
thing I really care about for him. But we hope
(59:34):
the best for us the PORI in his future endeavors.
We'll buy the hot sauce. We'll have that on heat check.
We'll get some of that poorier hot sauce. I thought
that'd be fun, A nice little collab with Uneducated MMA
and heat check right there. But ladies and gentlemen, that
has been another episode of Uneducated MMA. This one again,
like I said, has been a breakdown of just all
the UFC cards are going to happen over the summer.
(59:54):
Like I said at the beginning of the episode, they're
gonna flush these out a little bit more. Obviously with
the DDP and the Hamsa Shamaya fight, I think we
only really have the main event out right now, so
they'll probably announce more fights on that one as we
see the landscape change of the UFC as the fights
go on week by week.
Speaker 4 (01:00:09):
Who knows what it'll come out. Man.
Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
We're still waiting for Tom and John to be announced.
If it gets announced. Recently we've been seeing that these
two are gonna not fight. John might be retiring. Who knows,
He's a joint life somewhere.
Speaker 4 (01:00:20):
Dog.
Speaker 3 (01:00:20):
Let him do his thing, bro, he's over there in
Thailand like training Russians and the Omid fighter.
Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
Like, yeah, let him live his life. But the guy
earned it.
Speaker 3 (01:00:27):
As much as I talked a lot of smack about
John Jones, you can't deny the legacy that he's had.
I just don't like the way he's acting right now.
That's my only grief with him. I have nothing against
his fighting styles or anything like that. His record speaks
for itself. And then some it's just more so like
I just don't like the way he's going about some
of these fights. But I get it, you know, you
gotta go against your contractual obligations and all this. Other
(01:00:49):
lawyers speak that they got him and he can't really
speak too much unless the UFC, I guess, announce the stuff.
But we'd love to see it. You know, I'm gonna
be here every single week talking about these fights. You know,
Ario is gonna be here watching them with me, justin Uh,
let's see, let's go along with the story we went
on last time.
Speaker 4 (01:01:03):
So what do we say?
Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
He was training with raj al Ghoul, So I guess
this time he was just some joker that he had
to stop who kept robbing banks and kept trying to
you know, fight crime and whatnot.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
And I don't know, how do you how to describe
the plot of the second? Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:01:18):
What is that?
Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
In the Dark Knight?
Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
Is that the second in the series with Christian Bale?
The first one he learns how to become Batman. Yeah,
so he goes and he does the whole thing. So
then Justin is fighting this clown rob Yeah, the clown
clan that robid banks in the North Shore and he's
got to stop them. And then there's this guy by
the name of Foreface. He's got glasses on that he
(01:01:41):
ends up creating as due to his actions.
Speaker 2 (01:01:43):
That sums up the movie. Yeah, yeah, right, that's pretty good.
Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
We'll see if he misses another, you know, then we'll
go off for the third movie and maybe it'll be
I think we do that. Whenever one of us misses
an episode, you got to come up with a trilogy,
and then you got to explain that that person is
somehow living in that trilogy universe of some kind in
a galaxy far far away. Ladies and gentlemen, this has
been another episode of an educated mma. I'm your host
(01:02:06):
with the most Warner bread. This has been the peak
Meth Champion up the world RBG Melie Meil behind the
cameras and shout out to a Vibe Entertainment eight oh
six heat check nerd Gods straight to the point and
anybody who wants to sponsor to me going forward, send
that check to my PO box, anything else I can
think of.
Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
Let me know in the comments. Let me know what
you think about the summer cards.
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
Please remember to like, share, comment, and subscribe anything else.
Speaker 4 (01:02:33):
You have for the people.
Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
Hey man, keep on fighting, respect, peace. Yeah,
