MMA Bonus Take : Summer Time

Welcome everybody to a special episode of Uneducated MMA. This
was gonna be a fun bonus episode where we're gonna
go over this summer, this summertime baby. Basically this episode,
I wanted to go over the fun pay per views
that are gonna come out as the summer goes on.
They've already really announced the main events for him, they
haven't really dived deep into I guess the later on cards,

we think are gonna happen this summer and whether or
not they will happen.

All right. So we got a pretty dope summer. I'm
not gonna lie to you.

We had to get through some bs to get to here.
To kick off the summer, we got UC three to
sixteen Morob Devolish Villy versus Sean O'Malley. Now we are
at this point that this episode will come out. We
have already put on an episode going over UFC three sixteen,
so we don't got to worry about that one too much.
But just kind of going over it in just brief detail.
I'm sure we probably had the same takes on that

other episode. This is going to be Morob defending his
title against Sean. This is their second meetup. Sean has
lost his title to Morob Devolish really in what I
would argue like complete loss, Like there was no question
that he lost round after round and around gets a decision.

He just lost.

With this fight going forward, he has made a huge
changeup of himself. He is giving up on smoking weed.
He's cut back on the social media. I guess for
maybe YouTube's sake. He's cut back on gooning. You look
it up. I will not disclose any further, but yeah,
he definitely has changed up his ways a little bit
going into this one, just kind of changing up his

mental headspace. I personally, and I definitely had the same
take before and I will have it again. I don't
think it's gonna be enough to get him this w unfortunately.
I think it'll be good professionally for his career going forward,
but I don't think he's gonna be I don't think it's.

Going to be a big enough change to beat Morob.

I think he's gonna do a lot better than he
did the first time, but I don't think it's gonna
be enough. I think that Morobs is such a relentless
like wrestling grappling the machine. Yeah, he's really he's a machine, bro.
He really doesn't get tired out then, and he's gonna
if he fails and fails and fails. You do a
great job with your takedown defense, it really doesn't matter

I mean, I know you can do the lifestyle changes,
but it comes down to the skill when it comes
to Morob. Like it's taked enough to take time to
take down, like you said, like you really got to
prepare for what twenty five minutes of just like fighting
for your life.

Yeah, you gotta get away from that cage, bro, gotta
go away from that cage. And then along with that,
I guess would also be Juliana Pania versus Kayla Harrison again.
Watch the episod so that we put out for that
one again. But I think by this time this episode
will come out, those fights will probably already happen. I
personally think and knew Kayla Harrison should be the title holder,
but who knows. Julian and Openna has proved me very
wrong before with the Main News, so we'll see.

that like her coming over from the PFL, she's a
multiple time champion over there, she just didn't have the
level of competition that she has now, you know what
I mean that Like that's that's the difference. It's like,
I guess it'd be like playing overseason and coming over
to play in the NBA kind of thing, you know
what I mean, Like.

You've got some you got some pretty good competition over there.

different in the water over here. Everybody is a problem,

of retirement, I feel that I don't think. I don't
think it's going to be enough to get her to

I think that this one's going to be one of
those passing of the torch moments. We had this conversation
a few episodes ago where it was like, you see
a lot of these guys now that they're just getting
taken out left and right. Man, A lot of the
guys that we for a while were like big fans of,

we're seeing them on the way out in a good
way or a bad way, mainly in.

For sure, And I think this is one of those
things that we have, like is your level of experience
going to get you out of this situation where you're
fighting some young and hungry guy like a hawking Buckley
who's coming up and trying to get that belt and
he's already got a hitless and unfortunate Kamara Usman is
one of them.

Like, if you're like a fighter to have a hit list, yeah,
you have like a little booklet that you kind of
just like he did one of the crosses them all.

He did one of the coolest things I've seen after
like a post fight promo where they're like, who do
you want to fight next?

He goes to the crowd. All right, I'm gonna list
out three names.

You guys, yell who you want me to see out
the like see me fight the most And he yelled
out the three names. Kamara Ousman, I would say, probably
wasn't one of the loudest ones, but definitely the one
that made the most sense, I would argue at his time,
I think he called it like Ian Garry as well
and such, but I don't think that that. I think
he was too high up in the rankings that it
didn't really make a whole lot of sense. So they
decided to go with the Kamara Oosman and we'll see.

I feel like with this one, he gets a win
title shot.

Will So that's honestly, I think that I've been tee
that'd be insane, that'd be insane. One thing I've been
teetering on with this whole thing when it comes to
Kamara Usman is that he did give Hamza Ramaia of
the work for a good amount of the fight.

Saying he won it in any sense of the word,
but as the fight went on, you saw the experienced
kick in and the fact that he was able to
like maintain I guess his cardio a lot better. So
you got to the point where near that end of
that fight he was he was laying in some good shots.
He was doing well with the wrestling. He really didn't
have to worry about it too much. And with a
guy like Walking Buckley, I feel like Buckley's just like
I mean, he does the wrestling, but I don't think

he's going to try to stick to that. I think
he's going to try to strike with with Usman. I
think that's his path the victory that he's going to
try to take.

And like USMA, like even even the fights against Leon Edwards,
I feel like he did a good job. It's funny
because like the people that get that are falling off
are still showing that they still got it. They do
like like the same way Adissanya was the last fight.

about here, is like do they have it enough to
still like stay in the rankings. That's that's the part

to go for that title, you need to be able

Good knocked out very recently in round one.

then the smooth seven. I feel like if he beats

that we're recording this, He's got Leon Edwards ahead him,
Shov Cockramanov, Sean Brady, and Balah Muhammad. I feel like
he beats Usman. Maybe he has one more than a
title shot, or depending on the landscape.

say she's still in like that title contender. Spot has

the title shot. So I think Rose is in a

I think even with this win, she's just kind of
like floating around like probably like that like six seven range,

two more to be able to get back in that

And then with Khalil round you Jr. That is one
of my favorite fighters.

one of my favorite fighters. The dude went to tay

be I think this was gonna end the KO early prediction.
Khalil Rowntree takes it full bias, full bias, I agree,
but also genuine skill. As much as Jamal Hill is
the taller fighter with probably more reach.

having all kinds of layoffs off of like some pretty
violent encounters with a couple of people where we haven't

the UC notes your last year, everyone's on his hype train.
