Yeah, yeah, my birthday, I honestly had a Batman theme.
Everyone's like, yo, nigga, how old are you?
Speaker 2 (02:10):
I want to answer that question. Shout up Batman's fire. Anyway,
there's no age to Batman. Just start off this uneducated episode.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Everybody, ladies and gentlemen, Happy birthday.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
To this justice.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Wait, forty million subscribers, just wish for forty million dollar
each eight million subscriber, forty million.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Let's get it.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
We don't get that wish for that forty million subscribed
Just if you say that doesn't.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Happen forty five? Can I get shut out here? Ladies
and gentlemen, welcome in. We're here to talk about UC
three sixteen.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
I just wanted to get it started. Obviously, you got
to give flowers to the kid. This is going to
be a great episode. This card has been something I've
been waiting for for.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
A little bit.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Not only is it going to be a great card,
but it's also the start of the summer.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Leady, Yeah, we're here. The stuff is going to be amazed, cards,
T shirts right now. If we doesn't have to throw
the hoodie on the a little bit.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
I've been a good him man.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah, and I like that sweating, So.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
It's good this.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
I feel like it's gonna be a good card to
kick it off, and I'm excited for it. I think
that this is gonna be one that you know, we're
gonna see is Sean is he the champion that we
thought he was or does he not have it anymore?
Speaker 2 (03:18):
He can't reclaim that belt from Rob. I think's gonna
hold it. But we'll get into that.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah, I was like, what did you think?
Speaker 1 (03:24):
So now we've had guests here and there, so I
want to just kind of start this off of kind
of doing something that we started off with our last guest,
and I'm gonna bring it to you now we're gonna
start off with this and I want I want to
let the table.
Speaker 5 (03:36):
I want to say table off. You just joined the
UFC you're an amateur fighter. You've had a couple of fights,
you've had a couple of pro fights, and you're still
kind of trying to find your way.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Now you're in the big leagues. You're walking out. You
got your theme music.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Hitting what's the song I'm the Man by fifty oh.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Walk out, walk out school. You're feeling tough. You walk in,
you give your coaches and your props. You get into
the cage and shut that door.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Now Bruce Boppers looking at you, and he's got the
cards in his hand.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
What's the nickname?
Speaker 3 (04:10):
The violating way?
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Choose good the violet don't drop.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
I don't saying I would like come back up on
you a little bit, but I.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Don't even like it out the best get late, let
me you.
Speaker 6 (04:29):
You just got getting violated like Maley violent.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
But yeah, that's a good one. I like that say.
I like that. I like to people heard they do that.
I feel like it's good. Everybody gotta come with a
nickname for the literally the last episodes.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
I can't do it. I get won this that the
third as you heard him before the Mike heat up. Man,
it just I can't keep it. I don't know what
else I would do. I feel like everything that was
the cooler, dropping ladies and gentlemen. Everyone's safe.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Lat Yeah, I feel like I couldn't do it, shot man.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Man.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
And then we're gonna kick off this card by letting
you pick how would you like to start.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Would you like to start from the bottom of the card,
first fight.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Of the night into the main card, or would you
like to go all the way to the main event
and then go down.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Let's not bottom up bottom.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
To watch.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
I already man.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Alright, so let's do it the Luke versus Kevin Holland
to kick.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Off the car we had a little bit of a
card switch up a little bit there was originally supposed
to be Mario Batista was supposed to fight somebody else
whose name escapes me. Uh and then they ended up
falling out of the fight, so they had to do
a little bit of a reshuffle vicenting Luke versus Kevin
Holland seemed to be not last minute, but a little bit,
and they kind of moved it up from the prelims
to the main card. That's the weight class, so it's
gonna be a one seventy normally. I feel like you're
(06:01):
around one eighty five. Kevin Holland kind of moves up
and down befacenty Lucas a firm one seventy. I think
this is going to be a fun opener, but I
think it's a weird mix of fighters.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
I just feel like I'm going big mouth man. I
don't know what everybody is talking about. But every time
I watch that Boyd fight, Yeah, he getting better and better.
He's sharpening up his kills and now he's more balanced, right,
more of the mixed martial artists compared to before where
you know, he was better of a striker the Brown
game was and everything people gave him credit for. But
he started shown I got some submissions, I got some
(06:32):
things down there.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Fight. Yeah he's still won. I feel did good. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
I was expecting difference, I guess from him more striking,
but you know, or more a little entertaining from that fight.
But he's still won and he got it. I had
to watch the game, and yeah, he definitely got that
for sure.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
I think that that's been the thing that we've been
bringing up a lot, and I know that you've made
this point before, where like Kevin Holland just needs to
show up like he's got the skills.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
We've seen the technique. Dude is good.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
But sometimes I feel like he just shows up and
just gets the money. He just wants the money.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
You like day like that day.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
But I think, you know with where he seems more
focused now, I think it's gonna be him being more
tactical than the approach. And I feel bad for the
intent because he was one of my favorite part fighters
for sure years but now just looking at it, that
chen has been depleted a little bit. Man, sure get
him a couple of times over the years. Right, you
may still have the skills, but you can't take the
blows like you used to. I feel like Big Mouth
(07:26):
is gonna use that range on him to.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
He right there like the Rocky movie.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
I think it was what three or four whatever, He's like,
it's not about how hard you get hit, It's about
how how do you get hit and keep on fighting?
Speaker 1 (07:37):
Bro, for sure, because that's the issue that I'm seeing
now a lot of these guys getting older in the
one seventy weight class, like their chin is just going.
Something I wanted to bring up that has to do
with some of the recent flights that we're having.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
I think it's I think it's over for a lot
of the guys that we know at one seventy, I
think that they're on the way out.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
To Hilbert Burns doing you just recently last as well
Broken Leave Right.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
I was sad to watch.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Around one my favorite definite I just war.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
It's like all my favorite fighter is conscious.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Listen, listen to this list, and I want you to
tell me if you think any of these guys have
a title shot in the next I'll give you two years. Kamara, Housman,
Gilbert Birds, Kobe Covington, Steven wonder Boy, Thompson, Vicente, Luk
Leon Edwards.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
I'll say maybe Lousman a title shot over Edwards. I
was wonder Boy. If he wins this fight, this is
a make or break for Yeah, this is definitely a
make or break up Edwards. He needs to win.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
I need to see how looks when he goes to
fight in Atlanta. I think that fight is gonna be great.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Especially one, but I think Buckley got that one.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
I do think Buckley has it. But this is what
I'm saying. It's gonna be very interesting to see how
oo'sman shows up. Because even with that fight with Hamzat,
he showed some sing he can must it back up right,
but he started off slow. So I think if his
confidence comes back to him and he goes back in
their confident with the mentality of I am a champion
and I can do this, you may see who's gonna
(08:58):
get back to top shape if he goes in there
in doubts even for the slightest chance.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Yeah, Lugily for sure.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Do you think do you think I know that this
is going to be like skipping around a little bit,
But do you feel like if he lost that fight
that might be the last time you seekamorrows?
Speaker 3 (09:10):
That is?
Speaker 2 (09:11):
I think so too.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I think that he's kind of at that point with
a lot of these guys where it's fight for the
title or broke, like there's nothing else.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
It's no, it's just.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Reason, knees and done man.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Podcast Like how many l's in the world. Do you
feel like, all right, man, that's it.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
I think that's just the thing, man. Some of these
guys can't give it up. They just keep it going,
because then you have this weird mix of the championship
guys in there. No right, you have the championship guys
and then you have guys like Tory Ferguson's. You have
other guys that are like fifty, they want to get
to fifty to.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Oh in the UFC or whatever. Just do they love
the game. They love the hustle. It's the bad way
to go, man.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
And you gotta think some guys, right the way they
look at the fights. It's okay, I can beat the
oven comers, I can beat whoever's on my right. It's
when I start trying to climb up top fifteen to top ten,
all of a sudden, now I'm back to losing again.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
So it's like I'm still.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Good enough to beat any of the top guys, and
they just kind of like trying to get to that.
You know, if I make it to ten and you
put me against five, I'm gonna lose. But if I'm
at fifteen, they don't be at ten. I can beat ten, right,
So it's so weird.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Spot to be in.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
We were talking about like with Gilbert Burns, where like
I feel like he's in the spot where he's like
in the gatekeeper type of situation where now I'm thinking
that maybe I think he's still beat a couple of
guys and let's say like.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
The ten to fifteen range. But I think that even
the five to ten is.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Going to be a problem for let alone to win five,
let them forget the win to five. I think that
that even that five to ten is going to be
a problem for him to fight any one of those guys.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
So we'll see, we'll see what both My heart man,
because I used to always think he was one of
those seven and up guys, like you know what from
you know, at seven, you can put him there, But
any top five guys, he can give them a matchup.
Maybe not win a championship, but he'll give you a
fight enough that you'll say, hey, this guy's a contended.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Watching them get lost like that first round quick pro by.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
A guy that you know has never won anything, I
was like, wait a minute, this kid made you look
like the.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Looky I think. I think Michael Morales is going to
be a problem. I think that he's going to be
somebody that we're gonna have to look out for. And
well to away, he's at one seventies, So yeah, Boomers,
they're working on Broomans, they're working on Leon Edwards. I
think it's I think that that's gonna happen. But I
think that's gonna be a huge jump for him, though.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Don't let him bully you. So I think that time
is over.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
He's getting he's getting bullied bad. Yeah, I think it's
over for Leon Edwards personally, I think I don't think.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
I don't think he got a lucky shot that day.
Speaker 7 (11:25):
Well, this would be his first chance of not having
having to fight like such a grappler.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying, Like, I feel like
it's always been like it would be.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
My only concern is that I don't know if you
like rewatch that I just got power rifts for hands, man,
I understand where it's like, I know that Leon is
really good.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
He's very tactical and everything like that.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
But I feel like, even versus certain strikers, he still
gets tagged. And I feel like he said breaks for
hands that one of those hit his chin and it's
done for.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
I don't know, and it may not even need to
be the chin. The way I watch more his fight
rewatched that he can get you body too, And that's
that's where it becomes a problem for some guys to realize. Okay,
it's the difference in power, right, You're like, I just
hit him with my hardest. He bounce back a little bit.
He hit me with his hardest. I can't breathe right.
But that's the difference. He catches you in the diaphragm,
(12:16):
your body may shut down.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
In your mind's.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Definitely, man, he's definitely seems a lot hungrier for sure.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
I mean he's right now.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Yeah, when he was eighteen, I would say he's pretty
hungry right now. But I think he beats Leon Edwards.
And with the way that, like the rankings is set
up and who's in the top five, I see him
beating Leon and just for the namesake and his undefeated record,
give him a title shot because.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
You got what you got.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
JDM is the title holder right now, and then he's
probably gonna fight Islam in a few months.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Whoever wins that. I mean, you got like shot cut
in the mix that long as.
Speaker 7 (12:50):
Just like the gatekeeper of all Gatekeepers's like, no, he's.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Gonna I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
He ain't moving a strong looking lately. He ain't moving
from that way.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
I don't know, brother, I don't I don't think going
up is gonna do welfare.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
You don't think so listen, I'll tell you this. I
think j I think he can. I think he could
get J d M. But I think he's gonna have
some problems with the shot guts. I think that's gonna
gave him a real big problem because.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
I get that, like, that's your natural weight. Also, that's
part of the problem. It's natural weight, right, it's not
defined sculpted right like trained weight.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
But at the same time, they rehydrate themselves to get
back to a run, the same way with they're walking
into the cage.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
But that's my point. It's one thing when you're already
cutting down and all you're rehydrating is just water, right,
you're just hydrating when you're walking around at that weight,
that's categories. That's tissue, right, Like, so now you've been
eating what you've been eating and you're saying to yourself,
I don't have to cut as much.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
I don't have to do this, right.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
That's more body that you're gonna feel when.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Them it's coming. Stand won't let them.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
But it's just the difference is you're looking at the
bigger guys that walk around and shred down to that,
so you're looking at somebody.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
That's leaning out to that, which is exactly what.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
But that's what I'm saying. Yeah, so when you're not shredding,
but the other guys are shredding, they're gonna be lean
and cutting the rows. So THEMS is gonna feel a
little tougher to you. Ain't gonn those to tell you
right now.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
I'm just gonna right off the top five, and I
think he beats most of the top five except for
I think two guys will give him a problem, and
even then I think realistically only one is is gonna fight.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
That's gonna be what happened the top five of Walter Way.
We got a.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Bahama and Sean Brady shot Gott rockmanof Leon Edwards, m
Kamara Oosman. I think he beats almost everybody shot one
and I can see.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
So that's the thing that we can have, like apisode
where is Tremaiah Brain? So he is.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
He's at one eighty five. Now they got him firm
in one because now he's gonna fight D D P
at the end of the summer. He's gonna fight DP
for the title in August. That's gonna be a great. Yeah,
We're gonna have an episode just going over the summer.
The summer cards are gonna be.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
I will be back for sure.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
For sure, we got Yeah, So I think he years
out most of the people in the top five. But
the worry that I have here is that sitting at six,
seven and.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Eight right there, Ian Machatto, Gary Hawakeey Buckley, Michael Morales coming,
I said, one or two weeks.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Those top five may look completely different him by he
goes to fight. That made some of the questions. You're
gonna look at and say, Okay, you know Ian Machattle,
Gary is not soft, right yeah. In Buckley, I's shown
you every day he's growing. Also has some Mardil artists, right, yeah,
he's gonna take that, bro, Yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
See, Yeah, it's gonna be It's gonna be Usman versus Edwards,
And I think that's gonna be there last you know, yeah,
yeah that would be nice.
Speaker 7 (15:38):
But I think human is gonna have an impressive fight
and still yeah, yeah, I think I.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Agree with it.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
But like he's still like you don't like his last fight, Yeah,
but you can see what.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Would you be cool with that? It's like he still
got it, but he don't got it enough. But I
think I wanted to win up, like go out on
a win.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
But at the same time be happy would be like,
you know, he still got up, but he knows he's
got to walk away right now.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
He knows.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
I think he he does one more after this, but
he is gonna be impressive and lose.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Yeah. I think maybe maybe they run him and Burns again.
That wouldn't be mad. That would be a good walk
away fighter. Like, yeah, that would be the same way
we got Corey versus give.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Me that Edwards. Who's going in the same camp. Aren't
they the same camp? Or no, no, no no, or
they're talking that.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
He can England. Yeah to us. Yeah, I think that
they would match them up.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
I feel like, if not Burns a league, I just
don't see him Burns in him were the same camp. Bro,
I'm looking at this right now. I don't see Kamara
Bosman versus Leon Edwards. I think they could do that again,
but him versus Shot kind of think it's a bad
versus Sean Brady is.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
A horrible idea.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Yeah, below maybe.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Maybe the wrestling I think would be the interesting part
about that.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
But I think Blaw would actually try to keep it on.
If you heard like.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
Tweets or you know x now talking about how he
didn't stick to the Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Still how he didn't stick to the game. Stuck to
the game.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Yeah. I watched like a few piece where he was
talking about that, where he was saying that like he
just you know what it is. I think I kind
of believe him because of the money. He kept saying
Canelo hands Liamon think he up talking about those canal hands.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
I think he really wanted knout, he wanted to approve something.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
I'm going to say this.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
I'm going to say this direct saying to you as
someone who said what's his name, I don't remember all that.
I think that he was trying to do that for you.
I think he was trying to do that for the
people like you that just like he did. This was
just why is the problem?
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Yeah? For sure, I think I know I agree with that.
Here's my thing. Tried I like I do. But here's what.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
I thing when I say that he tried to like
please you guys, is that I think he That's what
he messed up.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
He tried to get the fans on his side. Bro,
who cares say the villain.
Speaker 7 (17:45):
If you have an episode we're saying like, like he
needs to just stick to what he's good at.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
That's what I'm saying. What got you there?
Speaker 3 (17:53):
Yeah, exactly, That's why I hate people get there and
then they try to change up what's been working, what's
your efficient? What's been successful? And it's just like, look,
you're the champion, and if you want to have a
good championship run, don't listen to the haters. Look at
you know, when you look at exactly who we're talking about, right,
like Islam and all these other guys. Right, if they
listened to everybody else, they would not fight their style.
(18:14):
The Daggers fan style has been getting hated on for
so long, but a lot of fighters can't find the
counter budge, right, They can't find the ways to get
them out of there. So it's like, Okay, we have
something that works, and you don't like it because you
can't find an effectives to the ground.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Now, that's what I'm saying that they fighters.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Elbows along tie Jones, Prime Jones, Jones in this era
of these rooms.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
Let me attle bit, it's like a race. Every reference
they could not Jones is out. He he should have
wanted to take Asa.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
But why me?
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Why?
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Why?
Speaker 2 (18:48):
What do you mean? Why is on the run for
the again? Why? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (18:55):
He didn't choose to hold on to the belt. This
chose to keep it belt with him this long.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
Now, I he wants it once he was out for
so long and someone else has been taking it and
running it, and you want to prove yourself instead of
going for like, Hey, I just want to fight Perreira.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
I just want a big fight.
Speaker 4 (19:13):
I'm not gonna say he's afraid if I ask me
all but did it look like he wanted to He's.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Made that he doesn't want me.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
But that's why I think, and that's why I ask why, right, because.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
It's the belt, Like, this is the belt I'm holding.
I don't want to claim this belt.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
He's not put off for belts anymore. That's why I
keep asking people the idea that.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
You have in the UFC. He's that interesting.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
He is the greatest fighter ever, right, but he wants to.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
Claim the greatest fighter for that belt, right, No, someone
else has it right now.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
He doesn't want to claim greatest fighter for any belt.
He wants to claim greatest fighter in general. Now, Like
the fact that his career from start to finish has
shown you why he's the greatest fighter makes it easy
for him to then say, hey, I can choose who
I fight moving forward, because I've earned that, whether you
as a fan believe that or not. His career says that.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Because but there's someone else holding his belt out.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
Now he can give the belt the way and choose tomorrow.
Speaker 7 (20:05):
Here's where I'm going to say this.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
I want to agree with you fully.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
I'm gonna agree with you fully, right, I get your
point of view.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Now here's my kind of argument.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
On if I was him, legends, I just want to
go for legendary fights.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
I just want that legendary money.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
I understand the idea of like, why would he want
to keep the belt? Contractually speaking, you do get paid
more as the champion, I would say at this point
in his career, he gets pay per viewpoints to the matter one.
So if I was him after Steve Bay, I would
have been like, this is why I'm to go take this.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Whoever wants it next that I want to fight, That's
what I'll go for it.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
Definitely not allowing that that's that's money that he left
it over.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
That's where I think everybody gets upset.
Speaker 3 (20:47):
Right, Dana made sure to keep telling everyone this is
the greatest fighter he has that and the belt stays
with him, he's the interim, and Dana makes that choice
for one reason, then why have Tom defend the rebel
for one reason? Again, because now Tom's next fight. You
get way more money out of the interest off. You
get to say, hey, Jones, Jones stuck this guy? Is
(21:10):
he that badass? Is he that strong? Is he that
powerful that the goal is scared of it?
Speaker 2 (21:15):
And here's like, all right kind of argument.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
You don't think, you go, You don't get that off
of his average fight time is like a minute and
thirty eight seconds.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
He's perfect record. I loved.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Real quick off of twelve Days Off the Couch, just
like Michael Bisbick walked into an octagon and knocked a
big rushing.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
Out to go get a title. You're gonna tell me
that that dude isn't somebody you want to see, and
I it to you.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
The reason you're saying it is also the reason why
Dana is against it. Right, You don't have enough fight
footage to make the fights.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
Interest doesn't matter. No, though, don't have enough fight footage
to make fights interesting.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
People want to see long fights, especially a heavyweight.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
No, you want to see the biggest hit.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
I want to go back and forth. And that's the
difference between an answer in any heavyweight level. I think
Boston the same complaints that you need.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
If you're understand you this week you.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
Get one to five fights where you can do that,
and it's interesting. Once that's all you're known for. No
one wants to pay the pay per view because they
can say I can just go on YouTube and want
to find a snippet for thirty seconds where you knocked
the guy. That's the difference give you don't get. That's
the difference when I talk about this ship, I look
at it from the fighters perspective and from Data's perspective.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
You get it. You get that, but I'm not Data.
So I want to know.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
I want to like as like a fan, I'm like, yo,
I'm here to see someone.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Knock him out. It won't get knock him out. But
this is what I was gonna say.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
If you have an entire let's say an entire pay
per view, we're talking early prelims, freedoms in the main card,
and everyone's getting knocked out in another two minutes.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
You ain't watching it right. But if you have out
of the hole, I get you.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
Now said now I'm gonna pay for those two minutes
because I'd rather see them someone.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
Because you know, you know you just described.
Speaker 6 (23:07):
Tones slap fighting. Slap fighting. Slap fighting is real quick,
and they get knocked out. He beat John what's that?
John Legacy.
Speaker 7 (23:19):
He's beyond the belt, He's beyond the rankings, beyond the
up and comers trying to.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Be He's beyond that.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
So just all right, then go out with the w
And I think he's he left it open for like,
I'll let y'all know, I'll see how I feel.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
But realistically, I don't think he was ever coming back.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
I totally get all right, I'm putting I'm not putting
my belt up. I'm putting my legacy up to get
knocked out by some young dude.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Pay me, fuck you money.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
Totally get that, totally under say that. But at this
point I feel like it's not that he doesn't money.
I asked you this question the other day. We were
we were like watching fights and asking this question. The
other day John.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
Jones retired, Right, what does he do oh so much
to to to my knowledge as of right now again educated, Yeah, now,
to my know, he wants to do but in the
sense of like shoot basketball? What is what do you
what do you strive for? What's the thing that you
then find that you do.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Because I know a lot of these fighters, either they
create businesses or they have like a podcast or whatever
it might be.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Jones hasn't entered any of that space because.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
He's I guess he's so that's so maybe this is
the education part. So he has actually multiple real estate
businesses that he's been doing. He has the gun shooting
club that he does in New Mexico and trains with
them and all of that. So he has so much
to do and he's finally fixing up his marriage. So
that man is nch. That's why the last time a
fan said back to him, he said, you realize I
(24:49):
have like so much other things going on for me
that I don't need this.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
And you know what it is, he just wants to
leave it open to have, Like if I feel like popping.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
Out improving something, that's the thing that he wants to
I have.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
And then that he's already the.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
Only time to him you have to prove something to
the fans, he just ignores it is like, I have
nothing to prove to you.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Nothing.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
The only thing I have is to prove to myself,
and all I would want to do is pick the
fights where I feel like somebody has as much to
lose as I do. Legacy, that's where the comments the ball,
because Preira, if he had won that next fight, right,
Jones would have fought him and it would have been
a legacy match of both of us want to retire
and be out. Because if Perrero was already on that
(25:29):
edge too, and people didn't realize it, he was already hate.
I only went to the UFC because my career was
already nearing the tail end and I wanted to maximize.
These are older guys, and.
Speaker 8 (25:42):
That's why.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
Did you see how yelling at Day and he's upset
at them. He's like, well, y'all promised me this time
and they fake tweet someone hacked.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
Right. Yeah, no, you did that.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
Ship right when he promised you. If you kept winning,
you would have privileges.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
Once you lose in that fashion and your hands don't
look like what they are anymore, all of a sudden,
you look like a one trick pony. You don't get
to go back to the table and negotiate like you
were doing before. And that's where people say Dana is ruthless,
but that's the business business.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
That's why it's weird.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
When you're like you said, you sometimes you got to
look at the perspective of Dana White every now and
then you got to throw the business owner hat on
you understand why they make some of these decisions. But
I will say, at least in John Jones eyes, maybe
he did tell this to the Dana, but at least
from what I'm getting, and maybe who knows, this is
all smoke and mirrors the fighters.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Are doing to try to get the fight build or
whatever it might be.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
On Tom's side, maybe they're keeping him fully in the
dark because he's literally like, what do you want me
to do? Like like I was watching an interview with
him and Mighty Mouse where he was basically saying, He's like,
this is the harder part of fighting John Jones, this
is this weird mental game that I have to go
through of like he's like I did. Actually, it's like
I defended my belt and now I have this Maybe
(26:55):
You're gonna fight this guy at some point.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
So all I get is the company telling me stay ready.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
What do you mean by that?
Speaker 2 (27:02):
How long do I have to stay ready?
Speaker 1 (27:03):
This dude is until he is literally, like mentally like
trying to hold it all together because he's like, bro.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
There is no I feel like that's also part of
Jones' game. He's like, yeah, well that's what he's saying.
That's a part of the John Jones game. So like
miss leads of the tune, I would.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
I feel so bad for that guy ready also his
best And this is I compared Tom Asminalt to Michael
Chandler in this aspect where his career, in some of
his best years are going away waiting for some other dude.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
And I feel like, my god's not fair because.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
I understand why you said that a Chandler is just
a whole no no, but I'm.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
Yeah. And the aspect of just waiting for a big
I'm talking big eight mega fight, career making fight. You're
just waiting and waiting and waiting and ship it might
not happen right now.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
The Michael Chandler Connor thing is not happening in my opinion,
But I think I think that John Jones, Tom Asma
if it doesn't happen. Ever, going back though the least
we talk about him, I think that if Tom and
and John doesn't happen by November and MSG it doesn't happen.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Wrong, Yeah, if so, it's not gonna happen. I think
as Fornal, you know, it is a shame. I do
agree that it's terrible to be up and coming. You've
done all the right things, You've fought all the right fights,
wipe everybody else in that way. Right, But again, this
is the problem, right, your own like, your only criticism
is your success. Right, You're so good at just making
(28:25):
these fights quick that you can't sell like you're supposed to.
Because again, right, some fans may want that, but for
the masses paying that pay per view money, no one
wants quick fights.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
Which is crazy to think about because I feel like,
compare to the rest of.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
The heavyweight division, he's an exciting fighter.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
A lot and I'm talking and listen, this is also
going out shout out to my Dominican out there.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
You know. I mean, I'm not gonna say the things.
I don't want to talk that much.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
Disrespect right now, but a lot of these heavyweights aren't
that exciting. So the fact that you're getting someone that
can go in there and blick some dude and kill
him in two minutes or whatever. I find it be
pretty exciting. But I agree with you to put him
on like the main event. He doesn't really sell its
beast right.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
He doesn't even have to win, and he packs it
out because you know you're gonna get entertainment with the knockout.
The problem with that'sna he's not taking the time to
entertain enough. He's taking the time to go and efficient, right.
So it's like like even Jone Jones, you know, when
you can knock some guys out like Steep a fight.
Look at when he fought him, go. He could have
finished those fights, bro finished, but.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
You know what he did. He took the time to
show you, Hey, I can still do certain things.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
I can grapple a little bit. I can get my
kicks doing a little.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
I gotta pause you right there, just so we don't
go too far. I gotta pause you right there to
bring it back to the conversation we were having earlier.
You just gotta do what you gotta do when fights. No,
isn't that what we're saying earlier? When it comes to
these dudes and all these other laws. He's just doing
what he's got to.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
Do to win the fight. As the is there engine
two minutes. It's on him.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
But that's only criticism is your success.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
But as a writer himself, I'm gonna knock that ship
out quick because I'm not trying to get injured. I'm
not trying to I'd rather have more quick fights and
get paid more for these fights versus extending fights and
possibly getting injured.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
You should need more and more. I think we need
more competition weight division.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
But the way it's it's difficult to find somebody a
certain amount of pressure that's just going to knock a
human being down, no matter of who you are.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
Just like heavyweights have that power.
Speaker 7 (30:23):
Bro, He's not gonna find because like, let's just pretend
like he John Joe came back, Tom kept on to
have a very mid reign as a champion.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
Honestly, you're the Russian dude, I'm thinking about the spurs.
You'll mess somebody up to.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
No. Yeah, I honestly thought he was going to be
on a good run. But when it comes to heavyweight, bro,
it is a very small margin for error.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
When you should have you get cliffed and you blades, Yeah,
look at blades. That's the thing is that the matacows skilled.
These guys can be like even Tom Aspinall I will argue,
like John Jones.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Doesn't necessarily have like knockout power like that. He's more
like I'm gonna whittle you down and break you and
then get you versus like I would argue if you
put that fight tom aspinallt versus Pavlovic ten times out
of ten, I would go five out of five, like
you really don't know whoever lands first, man, Like at
that point it's whoever lands first.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
So I don't know how if that.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
Necessarily is gonna give you any sort of like a
like as a litmus tested like where it is. But
I would say that, like the heavyweight division is trash. Yeah,
I think that if he were to hold onto the
belt John Jones never came back, he'd have a very
mid rain. I think we'd all be talking about how
whacked the division is, and honestly, I'd probably say what
the level of athleticism he has, he'd be raginning for
a long time.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
Oh yeah, I mean, I think, honestly, and this goes
the way it is, then maybe data needs to get
in the talk of Aspinau versus undone.
Speaker 7 (31:55):
So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
I don't know, if he's willing to do business with
me more boxing fight, that's the thing.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
But that's what I was gonna say.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
I think that's why I think that's possible.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
Yeah, because he lost the boxing fight and for one championship,
they're not interested. They don't have interesting fights like that.
At the heavyweight division.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
You know, he's fighting guys.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
You got really bums compayn to the US is he is,
so it's even harder for him as a knockout.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
Right, I'll tell you this.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
With Francis over there at the PFL with the whole
like PFO Africa and all that kind of.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Stuff, if he's I think the PFL is failing, and
from what I've seen, I think the PFL is trying
to get him out of there. If he's this is
gonna be really kind of like messed up to say
about a company.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
But if he's able to squeeze every last dollar he
can out of the PFL before they go under.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
Good for Francis and then retire. That's me.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
Get your get your bread, get the paid the crazy
amount for the super fight division or whatever.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
You're in your money. You know, if not figure out
a way out of the contract, go fight at the
DUC two more times, Francis will go fight in Dubai
versus UFC BRO. I don't know what it does.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
That's who might still pay for the fight exactly. It
doesn't matter who pays for it. But if you do,
that's gonna be Now that I heard the rumor today.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
I was on I was on X School.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
I'm gonna called Twitter, Twitter, So yeah, it's.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
Do you post post on you? Do you send it?
Speaker 1 (33:16):
I don't know how it works anyway, I was on
Twitter and I saw a tweet thank you. It's a rumor.
I gotta disclaimer rumor or Tom aspinall Cyril Gone August.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
It's gonna happen because John John Jones saying stuff like I.
Speaker 3 (33:35):
Don't know why the USC hasn't told you what the
what the thing is and all that kind of stuff.
So knows good matchup doesn't sell, no right to be
the problem to work with them.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
I will argue it is both, but it leaves a
lot more on one is nice, but like I don't
damn about.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
Again for the heavyweight again, you gotta talk.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
About you gotta say like that contacted like comparatively to
the rest of the heavyweight division. Like he looked amazing,
piecing up t to love time, love Time.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
But I went all that.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
But that was not good night has been he was
he was hitting the heavy bag that was slowly moving
around the octagon.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
What does it's the dude that be? I don't know.
It's the same way as dresser top Of that is everywhere? Yeah, yeah,
who just beat justin Tapa. It's let me see, Oh
what is it?
Speaker 7 (34:23):
Dude?
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Wasn't that that was? Remember? Like I take a shot
because I cann't take it.
Speaker 9 (34:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
I'm about to take a shot right now recently, but
I know exactly you're talking about. I don't know. I
want to say the name now ye look it up
because he just beat top of. But I'm about to
take a shot, you know, either way, but you think
him whatever? Whoever this this mister?
Speaker 9 (34:46):
No man?
Speaker 2 (34:47):
Because Cyril gun, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
There is no that is up to that level, right, Joe, Joe,
you were doing well before.
Speaker 2 (34:55):
I'd rather see that, Terry. Is there anybody That's what
I said? Right? There's too many exactly because it's both
it has to be many covers kind of climbing. Is
anybody kind of making some noise at all. We don't
want to see a Costa has been talis and to
share him.
Speaker 4 (35:14):
Yes, that's the dude. And before he fought top, I
think he was ranked super low. But somehow after six
seven to sixty three, I get it. I've said this
multiple times and we're just wait. When I want to
speak highly, I will say his name, Waldo A.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Costal Cortez, shout out, Dominican Republic. You're It's one of
those things of like.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
In the heavyweight division where like I think, you just
have to get one or two wins together that look
pretty good and you're gonna get a title show. So,
Waldo Costalquartes, we need a title shot for the Dominican Republic.
You're gonna be tom Asmital eleven.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
You had a guess you think eleven eleven ten? Maybe
I can't remember that. That's why I don't even know
if he's ranked.
Speaker 9 (35:54):
Yeah, but.
Speaker 2 (35:58):
Needs two wins and he's got. That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
He's closed in the division that needs to be cultivated,
because why look what we're saying, right, So that's why
John Jones can look around and say, man, what else
do you have?
Speaker 2 (36:09):
Exactly? Unfortunately, so I feel like also for John it's
he got to word this.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
He's in a bad position also to be at the
table to negotiate because also like, let's not sit here
and act like all the selling point on this. If
you're a casual fan is on John Jones. You're just
seeing John Jones fighting another guy. You have no idea
what Tom Asmhol is. Unfortunate, even though he's holding Goldie,
nobody will know. So it's unfortunately that it's him or nothing.
(36:40):
So I feel like that for the UFC is a
pretty big card.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
Now.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Another thing we've spoken about also has to be that,
like we got this weird negotiating be the UC is
also doing with like ESPN, Netflix, They're going to Hmazon Prime.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
I feel like the whole amount of that for that
as well. So who That's why I'm thinking, if it
doesn't happen by November, it's definitely going to be next year.
Do you think it's next years? This next year? I
don't think it happens.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
If it's not, I'll give you if it doesn't happen
by Q one of next year, it doesn't happen at all,
that still n beginning next year.
Speaker 3 (37:12):
Right, and they do the w w E and UFC
both bundle. I do think New Year's might.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
Be it's gonna be New Year's Wild January year. We're
gonna see jokes and to bring it right back, I
got Kevin Holland against I don't know how we got there.
Speaker 3 (37:30):
You know what's funny about that?
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Listen, I love its agents and I even have it
in my notes here, literally say are we done with
this topic?
Speaker 2 (37:37):
Talking about John Jones versus tom Asmarat And no, that
was like thirty minutes. Yeah, I got Kevin Holland, I got.
Speaker 9 (37:46):
Done that.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
This is going up.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
Guarantee will bring it up again in the next time
it is, you know what it is Like, there's a
lot of stuff going on in.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
The UFC, like like the Eliot's Portia moving up and
all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
But like I would say that this is the story
that everybody cares about the most, because it's been the
one that's been talked about for almost a year now.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
We're just like, calm on conservation.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
It's crazy, it's killing you, it's killing three and I'm
worried to play. That's I know.
Speaker 3 (38:14):
People made me disappointed because it was the same thing
when he's gone. Everyone thought that was gonna be so
much more interesting.
Speaker 2 (38:20):
I think it was over quick, but real quick.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
He took his time at first. It's work think once.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
That I don't think it was in second you got
kicked in the nuts. And after that he got off
a good joke.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
He bet a couple of punches and kicks with you.
It wasn't anything crazy. Yeah, it was not crazy, but
it was just like, let me.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
First or second. You saw him in the second round.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
Yeah, it was one minute in the second round.
Speaker 1 (38:43):
You saw him a lot better in the Steve Bay
fight because you actually got to see him kind of
move a little bit more like he was used to
the way more exactly.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
Cera was more so like this is first to see
how he does.
Speaker 4 (38:52):
And that was a quick and we don't read dated
up still got him right, It was the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (38:59):
Moving on his toes banded up. He did, he did.
He's got that. He got that big toe broken because
of under Yeah, it's like he was recently broke.
Speaker 1 (39:11):
He did jump Morob versus John O'Malley here now the
jumps called the segue lads dump even though we're skipping
around the card.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
Yeah, Morob did recently post the whole.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
Video that he like pocused on. I would not have
posted that. I don't know why would you post them?
It seemed like I think it's like I want to.
Speaker 3 (39:26):
I think get Yeah, you have to say when he
beat O'Malley, O'Malley's excuse was I was injured. Yeah, and
that's why you even had a chance and you did all.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
This Stuff's injury again. I forgot what it was because
I do remember him saying that he was It wasn't
like a knee thing.
Speaker 3 (39:45):
He said one of his hands was hurt, I believe,
and there was some type of knee or leg issue.
Speaker 2 (39:51):
But that's no reason for you because he had backed up.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
It's another thing that where I saw a couple of
weeks ago something was coming out with O'Malley's having another
problem with his knee again. I don't even see lag
the Cheeto Vera fight, but I think he's having something
similar going on right now. Even the Cheeto fight was crazy.
Speaker 2 (40:06):
That was it went all round. It was a good fight,
went all right.
Speaker 3 (40:10):
Valley of that boy, it's very was very strong, but
I don't know if I call that strong.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
He was. He din't getting knocked out. He was strong,
but we seemed like the skill of Omalley. But yeah,
he went the rest of Buran.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
Never seen somebody.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
Gain walked like he had a hip injury. Okay, okay,
and Corn Labram in his hip.
Speaker 3 (40:29):
Yeah, that it was the labor I haven't seen there
when I know I've told my labor my shoulder, man
huld play football that for me linebacker in d N.
I'm tackling, okay, okay, violating, Yeah, But the funny thing
(40:50):
is I told it playing ball, not playing football.
Speaker 2 (40:53):
I got a block on somebody with my left hand,
and next thing I felt a little I was. I
feel I'm stuff about it.
Speaker 7 (41:03):
I think Shatt'valley on his on his rise right ask
him just to make sure it's a sensitive subject right
now on his rise. I feel like he was too
ambitious to even go for the championship to begin with
Firs Morab after beating Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
I feel like he should have just tried to fight
to get some doves over. But he wasn't ready for
He wasn't ready for Morob And I still.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
Like that was the man that I know, but I
don't think he was.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
He wasn't title jumping in he did because he was
skill wise, he was the literal champion. He had Fogainst
the next it was literally h one else could have
been as much as you like, I hated to know
he is beating everybody. Was as good as Morob hoever
had it you got when you're.
Speaker 3 (41:46):
Talking about grappling though it wasn't a ground bow.
Speaker 7 (41:50):
That was now he got kicked, And that's what this is,
how you ruin someone's like come up in a way
because like you bring in like a Morob, but it's
mixed martial arts.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
He's okaycono MC, but it's not you're you're.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
Talking about O'Malley, Like if he was a contender, the
motherfucker was the champion holding what do you want.
Speaker 3 (42:07):
To hold that back?
Speaker 2 (42:08):
He ready him the guy.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
Everyone else is coming for him.
Speaker 2 (42:15):
I guess that.
Speaker 4 (42:16):
Was climbing to be prepared get exactly, but he just
wasn't prepared to look at he left the club, he
was a I let's go, let's fight Moro.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
No.
Speaker 1 (42:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (42:26):
I don't think of that at all.
Speaker 1 (42:27):
I think he tried his motherfucking hardest, put everything sweat
into that camp.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
And do you really think do you think Sean O'Malley
is that good that Deolish Philly can't beat him. Morob
is significantly a better fighter than Shawn Listen. Shawn is good.
Shawn has had his moments, she hunts him and Sean's
biggest moments.
Speaker 1 (42:47):
I think against guys that are scared at the moment,
only he gets he gets his highlight darkouts.
Speaker 2 (42:52):
I'm not hating nothing.
Speaker 1 (42:53):
I'm just saying there are guys that are definitely skill level,
a lot better.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
Than skill Still, then I would argue the top six
in that mine, he's the.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
Most fighter at that. But I think the thing is
o'mali right, even though he very much is one linear
type fighter, right, you're looking at he's young, right, man,
he's one. He's young too. The one thing he's really
good at, he's better at than everybody else in that division,
which is getting knockouts and fighting that button. So when
(43:24):
you look at even when he fought you know, funk, right,
he knew what he had to do against a grap Again.
Speaker 1 (43:29):
I think, but when I was talking about the moment,
getting to some of the people he's fought, because you
can't argue when algia walked in TD he was nervous.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
I don't agree with that.
Speaker 3 (43:40):
I don't think. I think what Aljoel was was overrating
and underestimating the opponent in front. I gotta say the
way he got up went before he got knocked out
was him saying I can get this guy again instead
of realizing this guy can get me. And that's why
he got knocked out. It wasn't because of anything else.
(44:01):
It was just more he underestimated the guy.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
I don't know, man. But he also admitted right right after.
Speaker 3 (44:05):
That Morob is better than me, for sure, and that's
when everybody said, really, and then now we've seen it
right because does not get distracted. He literally works like
a machine in his fights because he doesn't get distracted, relentless,
that much pressure and to build your cardio to do that.
That is the difference between Marob and every other fighter
(44:27):
in that range, because he's built for every single round.
Because he is smaller, he's just doing to keep coming.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
At you every single time. And that's what But definitely,
I mean, I guess should be real.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
We hasn't seen him like I don't know, we haven't
taken it seen him take like a like a clean
shot from Sean to see whether or not he responds
well to him.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
But I'm telling you I think he I think he
eats it and keeps going. I think I think.
Speaker 3 (44:53):
I think he may eat one or two. But I'm
telling you, if Hami gets the one or two, he
goes Cheato mode on him right where you're looking at
it and you're saying, oh, he ate that, right, and
he's fine, he ate that. I'm sorry, I do not
believe Marab is Cheeto and he's not gonna eat.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
That's Multimore than wasn't the same O'Malley when he was
fighting Cheeto. Yeah, he wasn't. He was.
Speaker 4 (45:18):
That's why I say we didn't look at prepared he was.
Also he left the club, I think it was, and
he was just sitting this time around and quis smoking weed.
I think it was the injury set up social media.
I already heard from you, bro if weed was working. Yeah,
he said lost in the fight, so so I think.
Speaker 3 (45:38):
Because his own was that he didn't trade his own
card to match where Morad was right.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
He said, I finded off that fight and I knew
what I wanted to do.
Speaker 3 (45:47):
But between the injury and the my gas tank was
it built up to keep up with his I don't
need to change my game plan. I just need to
keep my gas tank so that way in the fifth
my arms aren't down, I'm not swinging lazily and he's
seeing them right, because he did catch him in the
fourth and fifth with a few, but at that point
that has already been done. Was like, yeah, you can't
do enough to get me at the pace. Then so
(46:08):
if he got his car up and he can say, hey,
all five rounds, I'm gonna be on you like I
was on Cheato, We're gonna see a completely different fight.
But did not say he's gonna win.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
That's what I'm saying. I don't think that Maro gives
him that chance to be letting off those shots.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
That's what I'm saying. I think Morob, especially after those
fourth and fifth rounds, feeling what a tired Sean feels like.
I think he understands a fresh Shawn might be a
little bit different. I think, if anything, it's even more
pressure now, it's even more dround control.
Speaker 2 (46:32):
It is holding them with the gun as much as
he can and he cannot get up. It is I agree,
I agree, I.
Speaker 3 (46:38):
Agree on the pressure part, but I do think Amani
is gonna train better on the taken this.
Speaker 2 (46:46):
Standard forget.
Speaker 3 (46:48):
Want to be one of those dudes.
Speaker 2 (46:49):
If you said there he didn't have like that, So
how well it were for ballall? Honestly, I think a
lot of these fighters.
Speaker 3 (46:55):
Just everyone look got twelve month man.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
LOOKI that twelve month coach could be programm might work
for everybody.
Speaker 9 (47:02):
Him training with how to sign. Yet I don't know,
I know that's the version right now shout defenses. I
don't know what you're talking about.
Speaker 3 (47:13):
That is the person because guess what, because what you're
forgetting is right, you're talking about one of the guys
that has succeeded with that style against a lot of grapplers,
And so that is the person because then you're not
changing your game plan. You're just adding to your tool
kit and saying, Okay, what have you been able to
do to stop these guys when they tried that on you?
(47:35):
So me and you both have the free and loose
fighting styles, right, so we can style been a little
bit more if all it is is for me to realize, okay,
work my way to the fence before they push me
to the fence. Right, Key thinks you've seen easy do right.
He learns people win and makes them pick you're backing
me down, You're not. He's setting you up so that
way you're already within ranging. You don't realize you he
can bounce off that and pow right. Once he bounces
(47:58):
off the fence and he comes at you, you're damn.
I was gonna shoot and he caught me slipping. So
I think if Amani's like mental gets like a.
Speaker 2 (48:07):
Dog moved, That's what I'm saying. You can tell even
without all the fighters.
Speaker 7 (48:10):
But on a strike thrown the Cheeto fight, he looked like,
oh you can feel exactly this fight.
Speaker 2 (48:16):
Ris Morob, he like a little timid dog like he
didn't have that same was.
Speaker 3 (48:22):
It wasn't I want to win, It was I know.
I just don't have to lose. And that's the problem
a lot of champions. They look at it and they say, hey,
it's your job to prove to the people that you
can beat me, and I don't have to prove to
them I can beat you. That mentality has defeated a lot.
Speaker 1 (48:36):
Of guys a little drop for the further episode, and
that's why I think DDP beats Hamza.
Speaker 3 (48:41):
For what he's he is hungry, but.
Speaker 2 (48:44):
He's he's looking for lax ripped.
Speaker 3 (48:47):
Yeah, man, see that grip is just different when crushing
someone's jaw.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
And I'm sorry that that.
Speaker 3 (48:56):
I had my beliefs right and I liked his style.
Speaker 2 (48:59):
When I saw that, I said, I am convinced. Yeah,
the whole job, the whole world job. You know how
much pressure that takes A lot, a lot. It's again
somebody that's used to taking. That's exactly. No. I think
that the determination is what we're gonna see you come.
Speaker 1 (49:16):
Out a little bit more because like we listen, we've
seen Hams out now in a longer fight against Gilbert Burns,
he was withering away in the later round.
Speaker 2 (49:23):
I think D d P. That's where he's gonna be successful. Okay,
he makes if he makes, he makes it then reeling
it back in at.
Speaker 3 (49:31):
Three sixteen Mario Bautista versus Yeah, I makes it his
UF seen debut. I don't believe in none of these
new guys. Dan's bringing it. There's there's something with none.
I think.
Speaker 2 (49:45):
A bit more. That's like he got none. Yeah, there's
a new vote, there's new guys, there's there's new people.
I'll tell you that it's a.
Speaker 3 (49:53):
It's a little bit.
Speaker 2 (49:56):
I don't just shout out no vote for the stand
come out. We have no association.
Speaker 1 (50:03):
Yeah, I'll tell you that I agree with you with
some of the guys that he's bringing in because I
think it's a mixed bag. I think some of the
guys he's bringing in is just to put them down
to show you, Oh you thought they would top dog
over here, let me show.
Speaker 3 (50:13):
You what top dog is.
Speaker 2 (50:14):
And he's just putting them to bed, ye Patricio Pipple.
Speaker 1 (50:17):
But I think when patch he makes he's young, he's
still up and coming in the sense of like he's
a hungry contender, hitting that like thirties just so range
or so. But like I would still say he's there
four title shots, like I think he and then compared
to in his weight class, there's a lot of killers
in there.
Speaker 3 (50:36):
But he said that.
Speaker 2 (50:37):
But I think he can at least make it the
top five and do well. I think I think, I
don't know. I'm not saying he's gonna come in here
and become titled and tap.
Speaker 3 (50:46):
I think, you know, he may get one or two five.
I think as far as doing anything that like wows
you where you look at him, career wise, I don't
see that happening with it his guys, I do strongly
believe they do going at other companies and saying, hey,
come get your biggest pay day over here. Yeah, for
sure it'll help me and.
Speaker 1 (51:07):
Into looking into him, like I said, like I'm a
big UFC guy like I every now and then I'll
dip into other like organizations. But looking into his record
and stuff, he's definitely like a good fighter. But like
like I said, like I think he's gonna make a
good impact, but I don't. I wouldn't say, Yo, they
got this world beater, like this isn't like and this
is gonna skip ahead, We'll bring it back.
Speaker 2 (51:24):
It's not a Kayla Harrison signing, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (51:26):
Where you're getting this, I can't wait to that one
in this little pond of koy fish or whatever. You're
getting a throw.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
That's a completely different vibe for a lot of the
guys that are coming over. I think it's for sure.
Speaker 1 (51:37):
Dana is like I'm gonna put down your dog in
front of you and then I want you to watch it. Yeah,
and I'm gonna put him and I'm gonna put them.
Speaker 2 (51:42):
Up against somebody nobody gives a shit about. And that's
nobody gives a shit about your organization. Like that's where
I'm like, damn, Dan, you be really doing the people dirty.
But I don't know business, bro.
Speaker 1 (51:52):
I just I'm looking at I'm looking at this record
and like patri Mix has a like, dude, he's a
good fighter, bro.
Speaker 2 (51:57):
But I don't know, man.
Speaker 1 (51:58):
The thing is like, like you said, the bellator competition
versus a UFC competition.
Speaker 2 (52:04):
Levels levels, So I don't know how well he's gonna do.
I just I'm intrigued to see. I think Mark is
gonna be an interesting test for him. I think he
beats him. Personally. I think Batista is good.
Speaker 1 (52:14):
I wouldn't be surprised if he beats I think I'm
not gonna say he's gonna dog walk him.
Speaker 2 (52:18):
I think he's gonna be a good fight. I think
it's I'm gonna give him.
Speaker 1 (52:20):
I'm gonnaive him the benefit of off of what I've
seen on his highlight tape and the way he fights.
I think he finds the method of victory. Probably a decision,
but I think he gets it. And that's a good
intro to his first step into the UC, but I
definitely don't see who's the dude's name, like a kayas
a kura, let's grab him from another entire organization. We
give a title shot off rip definitely, so he's gonna
(52:42):
fight again, but he's he fights him whatever down the
street because.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
He you know what I mean, Like we did the
title shot not go the way we thought it was
gonna go. Let's bring him back up. Yeah, that was
that one.
Speaker 1 (52:53):
They showed him a lot more respect than they did
other people, because, like I guess, he wasn't holding gold,
but like a pitpole, you would think that they get
They at least gave him somebody you wouldn't get us
ta shot.
Speaker 2 (53:01):
So maybe they gave him a little respect that way.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
But in terms of some of these other guys, I
think they're really bringing them over to just kind of
put him down and just show them like you know
you've seen yeah, but who knows.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
At the same time, it's like a it's a cool
double edged sword.
Speaker 1 (53:14):
It can either bite you me actually just spent money
to kill this guy, but it just makes you look cool,
or he ends up being really good and now you
have a good fight on.
Speaker 2 (53:20):
Your bosster and you make more money. That's one went
on it when the businessman had them. I mean, you
gotta take it care.
Speaker 1 (53:26):
But I definitely think that I got Patre mixed in
that one. I think I think for the fans, I
think everybody in the Grandmother got pat. I don't know
how deep you guys are on to look on like
m M A Twitter and whatnot. But people hate Mario
Bautista after that joke. I don't hate that dude, Like
I'm talking death.
Speaker 2 (53:43):
Threats since his house for him and his family.
Speaker 1 (53:45):
People hate that man, which is why I think he's
gonna get it looky if he sticks to the game
for the game play.
Speaker 2 (53:56):
Yeah, pick up.
Speaker 1 (53:57):
Sticks to the game playing. All right, Now, let's move
on and we'll get to the good ones. When I
say the good ones, I mean the ones that people
are mostly gonna camera. We got Kelvin Gasoling versus Joe Piper.
Now this one was supply happened like like a month ago,
but two cards ago something like that, and Joe Piper
got like sick. They were in I think it was Mexico.
He got sick to rescheduled the fight. He said he drank,
(54:18):
said he never going to You don't you don't drink
the water.
Speaker 2 (54:21):
It's just drake beer tequila. Yeah, he was gonna drink
anything else in Mexico. That is fact.
Speaker 1 (54:25):
He was saying that he was never gonna go fight
ever again in Mexico. He was saying some crazy stuff.
Speaker 3 (54:31):
This is gonna be an interesting.
Speaker 2 (54:32):
One where I think this is going to be this bad.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
I will. I guess if you're a casual, this might
be a sleeper. But for like people that watch him,
is gonna be a cree You're gonna see fighter than that.
You're gonna see somebody get knocked out. You're gona see
someone get pulled out cold. Calvin Gasol, I was gonna say.
Speaker 2 (54:46):
He's a dog.
Speaker 3 (54:47):
He is built.
Speaker 10 (54:49):
Likely when you look at his skill set for that body,
you don't expect it right because you're looking at it
and you're like, it's ee, there's.
Speaker 3 (54:59):
Arms are enough to strike you like you expect right,
or you don't expect him to have the skills on
the ground and just kind of weigh you that, No,
the guy is a mixed martial artist. Throw it through
and I think you know, for Joe Piferd, he's gonna
have to fight.
Speaker 2 (55:11):
Round and round to go through.
Speaker 3 (55:13):
I may make it to the end to a decision,
but if it does, it's gonna be a bloody one.
Speaker 1 (55:17):
And I think Joe Piper's shot right here is gonna
be that one shot knockout. I think for him, that's
what he's gonna look for. If he doesn't get that,
I think he's gonna have a rough night for him.
Speaker 2 (55:25):
It's gonna be nine rounds of hall.
Speaker 1 (55:26):
Bro. I'm telling you got Kevin Gaston is a shorter fighter,
so he's gonna get in that.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
Yeah, no, you don't think so.
Speaker 4 (55:34):
I feel like if his decision or knockout within the third,
I'll give the fifer.
Speaker 2 (55:38):
Anything else between that, I'll give it a Kevin. I
feel like I got I got.
Speaker 3 (55:42):
Told by decisions.
Speaker 2 (55:43):
I got mixed feelings in this one man. Because Joe Piper,
I've seen him in a couple of fights, and that dude, Bro,
he he's good, like he's able to keep people.
Speaker 1 (55:50):
From taking him down for the most part. Take don defenses,
all right. I haven't really seen a lot of groundwork
from him, so I.
Speaker 3 (55:55):
Don't know how you do. I think where people are
underrating things is forgetting that gasoline can strike too.
Speaker 1 (56:00):
But Calvin I'm looking at it right now because I
had to pull it up just in case. You see
how other people feeling. Gasoline is a plus three ten?
You speaking highly? Are you throw a couple of Oh yeah,
I am.
Speaker 3 (56:10):
Don't worry about thet bit three ten when you stund
nice And then Joe Piper's a minus three.
Speaker 2 (56:18):
Ninety five, So yeah, I'm dropping that. I drop a little,
I mean, just just a little sprinkle, a little gas.
I'll throw a little on Piper bro I'm saying with
then you gotta put him on. You gotta put him
on ko you a two of you what somebody? Other odds,
some of the other odds that I'm seeing that this
is me checking on ESPN. I gotta check like all
the other ones.
Speaker 1 (56:37):
We're not sponsored anyway, so I'm not gonna say any
of the other names in until we're a sponsored. We
got plus one eighty on a centay Luca versus the
minus two eighteen Kelvin Holland.
Speaker 2 (56:45):
They don't have any odds tomorrow about versus Patchy Mixics. Again.
Speaker 1 (56:48):
According to eastph we got Calvin Gaslam of the plus
three ten versus minus three ninety five Joe Piper. Oh
my God, we've got a Juliana Apenia on a plus
four fifty five mind us against a K.
Speaker 2 (57:00):
Harrison and a minus six twenty five. That's man water.
Speaker 1 (57:04):
Uh. And then we got a Jui versus Sean O'Malley
Robinson and a party minus three twenty five versus a
Shawna plus two sixty.
Speaker 2 (57:13):
So we're seeing already how people are kind of betting
on this. I would say tomorrow about Deca versus.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
Patchy Mix is going to be a pick him because
not a lot of people even't watching altour.
Speaker 2 (57:21):
You don't know who patch he is.
Speaker 3 (57:22):
Yeah, but man, that watch old ye I watched holding
on patch Ye see you're bringing up the man on that.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (57:29):
A lot of these underdogs seem to me like they could,
you know, pick up a nice.
Speaker 11 (57:33):
Little little little parlay though a little like Johnny Walkers
still fighting Johnny on.
Speaker 2 (57:38):
The pre We don't know. That's funny to see if
they linger. It's funny the fighters that linger around. I
was listening to.
Speaker 3 (57:46):
Johnny, he's a big Tony Ferguson man for sure, bring up.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
I was listening to a clip the other day that
it was like people doing like they.
Speaker 1 (57:56):
Were doing like interviews and whatnot, and they were just
like going over like multiple mm a person he's talking about,
like Johnny Walker back when he was Johnny Walker, you
know what I mean. They're like, he's just the guy
to give John Jones the problem. This is the dude
to end the street. This is the guy he was
the blue Johnny Walker.
Speaker 4 (58:11):
Now he's like, hey, he definitely a name after, but
you know for sure, blue label man, that's all it is.
Speaker 2 (58:20):
That's all it is. Johnny Walker did the Warren blow
up the show. The black label is that that red label?
I feel like I got so red ear. Yeah, that's
what I'm saying. Red Lea was early sponsors black label limb.
So that he's black though, because he's doing the prelums.
Speaker 1 (58:39):
Know he's the early Yeah, I mean he hadn't made,
no honorable and I'm looking at right now he's a made.
Speaker 2 (58:43):
It's the early prelim yet. Anyway, this just it.
Speaker 4 (58:49):
Shows me early prelimbs for Johnny Walker, Aldo Constole Cortes, Okay,
early three limbs as Johnny Damn.
Speaker 2 (58:57):
They I don't know what. I don't know what.
Speaker 1 (58:58):
We got to look at Google versus ESPN got it.
The wires crossed. I'm looking at the Google. I'm looking
at the UC.
Speaker 2 (59:04):
Website, and they got him on the prelimps. I don't
know if Google is on points.
Speaker 3 (59:08):
Tends to be pretty clear, because you know when the
fighters get canceled.
Speaker 2 (59:11):
And Google a he read label right now, red label?
Walker over here?
Speaker 3 (59:19):
You got something Jarvis?
Speaker 2 (59:21):
Yeah, yeah, damn, that's so bad Johnny Walker. What happened? Man?
It's still a big bottle. Some want to go fight
job the best that's just the job is the best
way to put it. Fight fight, all right, and then.
Speaker 1 (59:48):
The order say it'd be a good fight, right, So
then that would be Johnny Walker versus.
Speaker 2 (59:53):
As a man. But Zo king off, he did it well,
I ain't gonna hold you to do that. Well, don't
shot for you, bro. I know I saw this bald
headed Russian man and I thought it was over for
you know, I thought it was that name. Just go
get after you can't.
Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
If you think about the pronunciation, you're gonna start saying,
how you think that's so fun?
Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
You got a quick announce your life. I thought you
were about to just bag that.
Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
I got you your head, tell you all right, I
get that flow guy, pronounced better than that. So before
we move on to real quick. So I'm gonna go
with Joe Piper. I'm gonna go with Piper on this
will go Piper in the the second round. I'm going
all right, we'll see who knows.
Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
Listen. I'm sorry I said paper third round, first or
second round? Then part like based off the listen based
off of the pre episode podcast.
Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Every time that we have unanimously said that someone's gonna
win and one other person opposed to get the person.
Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
Won, Melvin Leon Edwards Tomorrow Smith, you only want to
be like that. I think I go to him. I
think I go to them people.
Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
Right anyway, moving on now, Like I said, with those odds,
this is I don't know how I feel about this one. Man.
Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
I feel like this one's just rude. I feel like
this is disturbing.
Speaker 1 (01:01:09):
If anything, just stripped the title to give it to
the other girl. We got Juliana Penya versus Kayla Harrison
to fight that everyone's been waiting julianapend give murder.
Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
Yeah, that's what I say. Harrison got before in co seed.
I need a three drug tests for Kayla, right.
Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
I think before I think likes for like skill right,
And I think one thing that Juliana has shown us
from her fights against the Lioness, I'm gonna take that
are but keep fighting. So I think depending on how
to fight those, if it's not done in one or two,
y'all may start looking at Kayla Arison looking at that
(01:01:47):
like brock Lesler, I don't know what to do with it.
Get this bitch out in here.
Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
So that's the part that I'm interested to see because
she has to cut down so much weight this five rounds.
Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
We've seen her now against Holly Holms. She does well.
She but that was like what two three that you got?
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
But at the same time, a tough two three that
you gotta get through against, in opinion, might get fucked up.
Speaker 3 (01:02:08):
Oh she she listen, this is the sign to night
now at these first three rounds might be fighting. Like
I said, Juliana has shown you she can take the pain.
She she can take the pain and what she wants
to have that fight with bringing the Lioness back out
of retirement. I think she's gonna go through the pain.
(01:02:29):
We might see her walk through that fire with cuts.
Speaker 2 (01:02:31):
And these girls, these girls being.
Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
Bru Johannah dejection. Thomas. I heard that that day, look
like say I love him was just a little while
I can't hear a little bit multiple he Motomas, I said,
he Montomas all.
Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
Of them, though, I feel like everyone that when you
to be fair when you watch them fight, when you
watch the fight, it's like it's fifteen to.
Speaker 2 (01:03:02):
Twenty five minutes of just rapid fire punches. Bro, They're like, yeah, you.
Speaker 8 (01:03:05):
Don't get knockouts, so it's just consistent beating us on
the same spot.
Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
The guys will get lumped up like this the most
fight when they raised their hand and you just see
the one eyes closed and looking real small, the other
one their lips busted up.
Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
Because most of the guys fights that you got somebody
split pretty harding on early. Then the girls, it's like
their knuckles aren't like.
Speaker 7 (01:03:24):
Their lines, the blood, the lack of the low iron,
you know exact Ja's it's like the one of my
globe a.
Speaker 2 (01:03:32):
Couple of a couple of fights ago.
Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
Juliane robertson the girl that was like with the dyed
red hair that she wants. She posted a fight like
a post fight picture with her like smoking of blood.
Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
But you saw her. All her hands were like fucked up,
her her arms were all bruised up, her legs. They're like, bro,
you didn't go to war like you didn't really do
a whole lot. You still got beat up. What happened,
But she won't be bruising up and watch it. They
run into a little They went into the locker arm bruised.
Yeah good. I think Julian gotta big task.
Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
What are you guys saying, though, do you think that
Juliana is really going to come into this past like
focused and ready to take on a beast like that?
I think a man and in and she caught her
slipping because we saw she was sick. She came into
this fight camp a lot of things early stuff after
the first round. Ain't nobody finishing anybody early unless's.
Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
Kayle elbows in round one. I'm going with Harrison. I
don't think she has knockout power. I neither opinion. I
don't think that Juliana if she don't get caught slipping early.
Speaker 1 (01:04:31):
That's That's what I'm saying. I think with this fight,
there is no getting caught like getting caught early. Nobody
is nobody hits that hard to get caught that early.
It is either it is either Judo flip elbowed to
death or I'm seeing third, fourth, maybe even fifth round
the tired slippery and Juliana gets the rear day.
Speaker 3 (01:04:51):
I should love that, Jude one of the they we're
talking listen like finished even in a speech fight, that
Judo little hip top.
Speaker 1 (01:05:02):
Every now and then, every now and then my girl
will send me like a video and then she's like
we should do this, and it's always like a like
a couple, like they're like play wrestling, and I'm like no, no,
no no, And then I'll send her a clipping like
this is.
Speaker 2 (01:05:11):
How it would go, and I just send her like
Judo videos. You just see that. You're like that that's
how it would go, I said her.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
I said her video where it's so funny because it
would be like I don't be like couples always do
it like a couple of challenges and it should be
over there just sending like fight videos.
Speaker 2 (01:05:27):
I'm like this is cool, right, She's like yeah, sure, whatever,
you're watching it. She's supportive, So shout.
Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
Out shout out to the good woman out there. But
for real, though, with these bat I say this for
show I think if Kayla Harrison can be dominant from
the start right to not let Juliana have a mixed
martial arts fight, I think that's what she wants. If
she can get her to just trade strikes right, make
certain mistakes, I think she can get her out of there.
(01:05:53):
Like you said, right, get it to the ground with
the judo and maybe just blows and overwhelmed over po.
I was gonna say, just overwhelm her restrength. Then she
can probably take it away if it becomes a mixed
martial art fight or she tries to prove herself as
a mixed martial artist. I think Juliana is gonna power
through whatever page she needs to. And whether she eventually
(01:06:14):
lets her think she's taking her down and then uses
her BJJ skills to get her, I think that could
very much be the into the other fight. Hey, I'll
let you flip me down, but once you get down
there with me, I know how to do more things
down here than you do.
Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
I got two things for that one. I like.
Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
I agree like I said, with the whole string thing,
I think she's just gonna overpower her. I think that
as much as Juliana has that dog in her. I
just don't think that this is a fight that she's
gonna win. I don't see a path to victory like
I'm trying to imagine it.
Speaker 3 (01:06:44):
I have no clear path.
Speaker 1 (01:06:45):
I'll say that even by decision like I still see
let's say let's say let's say we hit the room.
Speaker 2 (01:06:50):
When we get to the decision.
Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
Judges, Man, I think you have judges more than anybody else. Yeah,
I hear me, Dana, heye your judges.
Speaker 2 (01:06:59):
Yeah, you see judges or like to you, let's rank
up you judge.
Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
I want you see judges versus like NBA and NFL refs, UFC, NBA.
Speaker 2 (01:07:10):
Though I've lost more partly, you know what.
Speaker 3 (01:07:12):
You know the thing is, you know what, because UFC
judges actually decide the fight. The tide who went the
NBA can get you a call, but they can't get
you to win.
Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
They can manipulate the game and they can't even like,
you know you're gonna win. Bro get two free throws.
Speaker 3 (01:07:29):
I've seen people Grant Williams. I'll make both right, So
the refs can't do that for you. You can beat
somebody else in the UFC judge will be like, that's
not what I saw. That's not what I saw. What
do you want?
Speaker 2 (01:07:47):
She was assaulting your hand with her head. Why don't
we do what I saw?
Speaker 3 (01:07:51):
How did you give.
Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
Somebody leaked the picture? In the name of these refs.
You gotta start doing that. These guys let him doing it.
Interview afterwards. I got to figure it out. I want
to hear your opinion on this. Why you're just like
a unanimous like fucking disappear.
Speaker 1 (01:08:09):
And the second thing that I was gonna say, this
is my own, this is my bias opinion. This is
me just speaking out of a fan that I want.
What I want to see.
Speaker 2 (01:08:16):
I need her to walk through, get into that octagon.
Speaker 1 (01:08:19):
I need Kayla to Judo flip the short he killed
her in two rounds and I need to get on
that call a man and d is the funk out
And I need to see.
Speaker 2 (01:08:25):
That because I just looked at the rankings. Ain't sitting
on here that I want to see. I just look
at this actor was disappointed. Man.
Speaker 1 (01:08:32):
You know, hold on, I'm gonna ask you, ain't you
because I guarantee you don't know half these names. Roquel Pennington,
I knowlan Vierira, Norma Dumont, you know Macy Schuss.
Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
It's a donna. I don't you know, I don't do what.
I don't know. I don't like the first two.
Speaker 1 (01:08:56):
That you know, it was a better she was on
the Brazilian non Donald remember notes UFC.
Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
She's the one that got that insane cut like.
Speaker 3 (01:09:06):
The crazy fah my god.
Speaker 2 (01:09:11):
So in my opinion, it's another heavyweight situation.
Speaker 1 (01:09:14):
Kayla Harrison's gonna come and get this one big super
fight is looming in the corner of maybe, but then
the rest of the fights, that's what happens.
Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
That I got another kid.
Speaker 4 (01:09:31):
Yeah, yeah, fant o winners are like to make like
the woman's like UFC more interested.
Speaker 2 (01:09:41):
I know, no, just get ready to yeah, write it down.
There's a lot of there's a lot of documentaries going
on around this topic. But they was saying a baby.
I was like, wait right for that. But you ain't sponsor,
you ain't right with your rotts. Yeah, Julian sponsors not.
(01:10:07):
It's not getting.
Speaker 3 (01:10:11):
Wa wait a.
Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
Minute, hands.
Speaker 3 (01:10:21):
In jail.
Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
Day Amber the last fine, but it is Kayla Harrison. Harrison.
Kayla is a goddamn because she's looking away into the competition.
Speaker 1 (01:10:42):
She win.
Speaker 2 (01:10:43):
All it is with Kayla Harrison. Honestly, I don't think
that it's rods or anything like that. Looking into her
very high level to.
Speaker 3 (01:10:50):
I never heard that.
Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
I'm gonnaive I'm gonna give you to any of that one.
She's been training.
Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
She was a little girl, and that that's the reason
she's the way that she is right now in the
sport that she's been training him too.
Speaker 2 (01:10:58):
Have you seen broncolets his daughter?
Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Yes, I was about to just you stole that, but
that uncle's gone and that's so this imagine what she
had adult.
Speaker 2 (01:11:08):
This daughter was created with genetics that was on steroids
at the time. You got a second hand and anyone.
Speaker 3 (01:11:19):
Steroid eugenics. What happened when the crackhead has a baby.
Speaker 2 (01:11:27):
Happen on brackhead, happened to you?
Speaker 3 (01:11:32):
This is this is an interesting You're not bring your kids,
so we got to test.
Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
But Less's daughter now before gets me when anything comes
to this, hey man on this PoCA, don't come for me?
Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
Were well continue before we disclaimer anyway, just and if
you can't read it, come to the show. Yeah, no, educated,
but don't be no. I I think for her, bro
I listened. I understand although the worries and everything like that.
Speaker 1 (01:12:04):
I think it's just when you look at all the
other shorties, you're like, I don't know what's going on there. Yeah,
she looked built completely different than all the other ones,
and like.
Speaker 3 (01:12:12):
All the sport she is doing shot put.
Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
Yeah you understand, Yeah, yeah, I mean to be fair
like that, like what you gonna do, But that's what
I'm saying. Yeah, I think that she could have chosen
a bunch of other.
Speaker 3 (01:12:24):
Things and she's doing a sport that's primarily dominated upper
body pole.
Speaker 2 (01:12:29):
That wait, she was about to enjoy this last We
don't randomly get.
Speaker 1 (01:12:32):
Broad pleasing his daughter as a guest on here just
to talk about shot put. We're gonna have an episode
nothing to do with.
Speaker 3 (01:12:36):
The Maya.
Speaker 2 (01:12:39):
To Have fighter.
Speaker 3 (01:12:41):
I watched the Olympics every year and I'm like, I
forgot to do that. Man, you put the thing by
your neck eye. I'm suspinning if I could get that.
Speaker 1 (01:12:47):
You know, as someone who has done shot put for
four years in high school, it's a lot harder than
you think. I'd like to give a shout out to
Jared love Woods because that is a scary, scary man
that could throw that metal ball very far.
Speaker 2 (01:12:58):
Yeah, you're not getting dizzy. Just it's just tell me.
I'm like, you know what crazy. The one that I
think for me was a.
Speaker 1 (01:13:08):
More disorient thing I try to learn how to do
discus that that one is a lot more spinning.
Speaker 2 (01:13:14):
Discus is as it's like a metal disc.
Speaker 1 (01:13:17):
Like a heavier disc that you hold and you're spinning
and you just yeat that thing. I say, those in
the change ball.
Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
Thing those the world.
Speaker 3 (01:13:24):
I think those are probably your around discus. Maybe discus is,
but I feel like it's way harder. And it's right,
he makes it harder if I have to work on
figure out with my left hand. On right hand is
still good. But I mean because like even with football,
(01:13:46):
like what do you I was playing defense and I
could still throw like sixty yards from the end zone
what like good accuracy, And that's most offenders can't do that.
Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
So I was like, listen, you get me to work
for summer.
Speaker 3 (01:13:58):
I might be able to come.
Speaker 2 (01:13:59):
I idea ATO six Olympics. They got the track and field.
We'll figure it out.
Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
We'll say, do you busy? Julian opinion versus Kayla Harrison
to wrap this one of them, so sorry, give this
one has been all over the place, but it's been
a great episode.
Speaker 2 (01:14:16):
I'm having much.
Speaker 3 (01:14:17):
I don't know a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
I'm having a good time. Julian opinion. I just think
I really personally just don't see a method.
Speaker 1 (01:14:23):
Of victory for I agree with you, if you bring
in the MMA, if you really work it all out,
there's a chance. But we cannot forget that Kayla Harris
has been in other organizations that are MMA organizations and
she has dominated.
Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
But also she I'm granted again the same.
Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
Idea level of competition isn't really necessarily there, but she's
at least seen the things that the girls are throwing
on her, and she's trained. And I'm not gonna sit
here and listen. Here's what I'll differ. And I've spoken
about this, and I feel every time I'm like, the
level of competition when it comes to women's MMA, there's
like a handful of the top space everybody else. I
would argue that same level of competition you'd grab from
(01:15:01):
a pfl A belt or one championship and brought her
over to us.
Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
He could actually compete with.
Speaker 1 (01:15:05):
The women that are in the UFC, minus the krem
Dela cremit'st the very top four or five.
Speaker 2 (01:15:09):
Other than that, I would say they're all fairly similar.
Speaker 1 (01:15:11):
So for the most part, I don't think that she's
gonna see anything from Juliette opinion that she hasn't seen
before that she can't.
Speaker 2 (01:15:17):
Just stop with a judo hip throw and elbow sea.
Speaker 3 (01:15:20):
And I think the reason that I want to see
it go this way because I am with you. I
do want to see right Lionis come back and fight her.
I think that would still be a good fight to have.
But the one reason I do want to see Juliana
do it is because this was the same stuff I
heard when Rondo Rolsey was on her run. You have
these fighters that are very good and dominating and they
(01:15:41):
make everybody out scared, right, And that's where I feel
like Kayla Harrison's benefit has been. She has that intimidation
factor based on size and strength, But you're also talking
about somebody that has multiple times faced the greatest women's
fighter ever, right and has actually beaten her. Not you
like a decision or something, actually fighting and enduring it.
Speaker 2 (01:16:03):
We're gonna throw the caveat on.
Speaker 1 (01:16:05):
Her on a shitty training camp, also coming off of
a very big sickness you got Here's what I'll say
with this with you again, you got to give that
caveat because you gotta put it in contact, because let's
not act like then afterwards when they fucked again that
Juliana didn't.
Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
Get absolutely dog walked.
Speaker 3 (01:16:24):
But my point the greatest right, And that's why I said.
Speaker 2 (01:16:31):
Break between like those.
Speaker 1 (01:16:32):
It'd be different if that like she was able to
catch her in the first one and then in the
second one it was a close fight and she lost.
It's different that she caught her and then in the
second fight it was a complete like guilt Juliana.
Speaker 3 (01:16:43):
But I think again the point I say is right,
she fought her in the first one, and then people
get comfortable thinking I could do this again, and I
can do this easier because now I know what's coming.
You don't know what's coming. When you're fighting the greatest
fighters that ever made, you don't know what's coming. Each
fight is going to be different than the last one
because they're going to look at what they did that
fight and adapt immediately. They're not like other fighters. The
(01:17:06):
best fighters we've seen in the UFC are people that
can adapt learning right, because they're saying, hey, what is
like this guy and know what style that I'm facing.
If it's a grappler, I can fight this guy and
know it. That's why Jones. Jones has been the best
because he always knows. Hey, depending on who I'm fighting,
it doesn't matter what style you bring in. I can
make it a fight. Other guys you see very much. Hey,
(01:17:26):
if you're fighting a grappler, you can win, but if
you're fighting a striker, you're gonna lose. If you're fighting
a striker, you can win, but if it's a grappler,
you're gonna lose. Right, It's the margin of skill drops
significantly for most other fighters in between. When you look
at Amanda Nunia's there's nothing she can't do in that
ring that she wants to do.
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
How long has it been since she fought Cool at
this point two years? Who is about two years?
Speaker 7 (01:17:53):
Do you think that effects her fighting? Let's say Killer
Harrison wins a thousand percent.
Speaker 2 (01:18:00):
Yes, he's like on the role like. It just depends
on how it's the ring rust, it's the ring rust
ring dus has to do has a thing to do
with it. Once you've already been in the ring for
so long, I wouldn't throw ring rust in it. It
depends on training. Ring Has she been training this whole time? No,
(01:18:23):
Connor is the perfect example of it.
Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
Connor is somebody who's been fighting since he was a
young kid, and he went a good period with all fighting,
came back and got along was.
Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
As but at the same type of like, let's I
don't think a man is the type of person earlier.
Speaker 3 (01:18:40):
But I'm just saying I agree in general where we're
saying that ring rust is gonna play no matter who
you are, you could be the best fight on you
take time off, you come back. You're not going to
ring Russ. Yes, he had ring rust the first one,
that first fight.
Speaker 1 (01:18:52):
Against Cyril, but if you look at that, that's versus
John Jones' last fight at light heavy.
Speaker 11 (01:18:57):
We also wait first time than I like what I'm saying.
The style of fighting, all of it very different. He
was timid, he was kind of like just you saw him.
Speaker 3 (01:19:08):
The bodies is not caddling everybody anymore. Right, you're not
used to getting hit as much. You've taken so much
time trade.
Speaker 2 (01:19:14):
That's because you're not taking time off, you're trading.
Speaker 1 (01:19:17):
Here's the thing, though, it depends on what you're talking
about trading because you also have guys like Max Holloway
who was.
Speaker 3 (01:19:21):
Like, I'm not sparring you. I'm Max Holloway. You know
what I mean, Like, I'm not, I'm Max Holloway. When
I trained or I do anything, you're not, I'm not
training for you to hit me.
Speaker 2 (01:19:30):
Spring is important. You don't need your body.
Speaker 4 (01:19:32):
Yeah you can watch, but you need to be able
to react in exact situational Sparring is important.
Speaker 3 (01:19:39):
And I think the problem that people forget is also
sparring is not the same as fighting. It's not right
because you're holding back. But when you get to that
level also is what we're talking about. Right, We're not
talking about just coming back in and they're gonna throw
in with an up and cover. No, you're going in
where you left thought. That's a different thing, right, It
(01:20:00):
is different. This doesn't matter who you are, because whether
it's you know, I'll take breaks from the gym and
I go back and trying to pick up where I
left off. You would think because I've been doing it
for years.
Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
Connor was the only one that got to tune up
fight and that was him against Cowboys. That was the
only like to that was crazy all right, we'll push
it up. One of the best entertainment, one of.
Speaker 3 (01:20:21):
The best we found him. A lot of the stuff
we have not wouldn't be entertained.
Speaker 4 (01:20:26):
Definitely one of the faces still almost got you proper twelve.
Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
I just sold the company, so it's not the same anymore.
Speaker 7 (01:20:33):
I just want to say a shout out to uh
Connor McGregor's Green Back Records for releasing the first album
under the label by exhibit.
Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:20:43):
I did listen to that exhibit.
Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
I didn't get a ticket.
Speaker 3 (01:20:48):
There's there's a few songs on there that are good.
I don't know if I.
Speaker 2 (01:20:51):
Really just thumbs down, would you listen to it again?
That's enough?
Speaker 3 (01:20:56):
But I think it's just at that age, thing don't
sound the same right when you're rapping about them and
your tone doesn't sound that. I think it's freezing and
hasn't matured, not as much as you like a lot
of people what he done mature songs.
Speaker 2 (01:21:10):
They don't sound smooth.
Speaker 3 (01:21:13):
Features I need.
Speaker 2 (01:21:14):
I need exhibited rapping about like mortgage loans and stuff
like that.
Speaker 3 (01:21:19):
My ride Goddamn, which was like twenty years like what
do you he should have been the currency of Goddamn
cars by now having fish in my car interview and he.
Speaker 2 (01:21:31):
Was like, you don't have nothing to do with those cars.
He's like, I was just I was the host. Yeah,
I had no idea what they were doing with the cars.
Cars got repol bro so many they put fish tanks
in the ovens and cars Bro, you could drive that,
Like what do you like? Yeah, we're gonna put that
ship in the rims and you never fixed the car.
Speaker 1 (01:21:46):
If you'd have bad breaks going into coming out, but
you'd have a fish take, it's like, yeah, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:21:50):
This wasn't free. You know we're even charge you for this.
Oh yeah, before that, Damon Rad was a scam. It's
definitely scamming. We already talked about it a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:21:59):
But let's just end beautiful card with of course, the
main event of the evening, Sir Robi is really versus
Sean O'Malley. Now, this is Morob defending his title again Seanmley,
who he recently took the title from.
Speaker 2 (01:22:13):
This will be his first title defense. Like I said earlier, man,
I just I don't think Sean has anything for It's
gonna be scale versus Well.
Speaker 3 (01:22:21):
I think the scale versus Well if if Sean o'manley
wants to get his cardio up to actually fight to
the level that he can for five rounds, I think
it's gonna be very different if he shows up like
he showed against you out here.
Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
I'm gonna rewatch that first fight because like you're bringing
up this cardio factor a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:22:40):
I really want to see, man, is it really with him?
And he did really well, Bro, he did really well.
Is another like years just like he didn't be on
the O'Malley didn't look like himself when he fought mob.
Speaker 2 (01:22:54):
He will to his his his like even was everything
exactly the meaning was off his the.
Speaker 3 (01:23:00):
Been in between when you're watching him go sit to
you know on the basis he was.
Speaker 2 (01:23:04):
It's the same time as you have feeling out of sun.
It was about first time against the I watched Cheeto and.
Speaker 1 (01:23:09):
Then I'm going to watch that one and we'll see
how we're feeling. Because I feel like, listen, there is
something to do with the energy. A fighter comes in
with the wheel, like you said, like there is something
that comes in with that energy bringing it like I'm
ready to like like when you get that. I love
this club every single time where it's like you see
Izzy on the camera and I'm willing to die.
Speaker 2 (01:23:28):
Yeah, He's like, I'm willing to die right now.
Speaker 1 (01:23:30):
You got to believe that's something else versus like I'm
here today and clocked in.
Speaker 2 (01:23:35):
Those are two very different vibes because I can.
Speaker 3 (01:23:37):
Always tell, especially in between fights, when one fighter is saying, hey,
I'm ready to die, right, I'm ready to do whatever.
I'm going all in and the other fighter is looking
at their their corner and the same what can I do?
Speaker 2 (01:23:50):
Yeah, once I.
Speaker 3 (01:23:50):
Start hearing that, I know where the fight is heading, right.
Speaker 2 (01:23:53):
Because when the when he sets down and yellow and
standing like.
Speaker 3 (01:23:56):
Let's go, and even then both of you can be something.
It's when you're put doubting your your set. I don't
believe in you anymore in the fight, because that's just
how all fights are.
Speaker 2 (01:24:04):
One.
Speaker 3 (01:24:05):
Like we've all been in fights before growing up, and
you know, sometimes you got poppy, but you're like, nah, dog,
let's say that they like you know you want every
fight you do know like there was a point where
it happened and you're like, yo, what else can I do?
Like I need to make sure I get out of
this without the supervantage, like man, you know what I'm saying,
(01:24:27):
Like you you work in the around now compared to before,
You're like, I'm gonna eat one just to make sure
I know.
Speaker 2 (01:24:33):
And I would argue, I would say with this one
was Sean going in. He's literally has nothing to lose.
He doesn't even have the belting.
Speaker 3 (01:24:39):
And that's why I think you may see him walking
with the same energy against Cheeto where it was everybody
said you can't do nothing. Do you know he felt
so much?
Speaker 2 (01:24:47):
I can under I think I think he needs to
be an all. He needs it exactly, he needs it,
he needs energy. I don't think he can. He's gonna
come defend a lot of belts. Yeah, I think he
can win a lot of belts.
Speaker 4 (01:24:59):
I think honestly, for me, it's just literally whatever Drake's
gonna bet, and then Drake's bets, I'm gonna bet the
opposite that hopefully be Marob because.
Speaker 2 (01:25:10):
I'm so tired of man.
Speaker 7 (01:25:12):
As much as I do like that, I respect how
good he is, Like I don't. I just want someone
to beat him and get him, get him out of there.
Speaker 4 (01:25:19):
I think O'Meley can do it, man, but early, if
if the third round, if Morock is still there.
Speaker 3 (01:25:26):
Third or fourth. I think if Amali's gonna get its fourth,
fifth is about I feel that if it gets the fifth,
I I don't believe. Yeah, that's it's miracles. And if
unless it's a miracle, if it gets the fifth, I
don't see him doing end up. Omali can come right
off whatever he locks in and you may see A
(01:25:49):
shoots him, he defends it, they get up, punch, he
eats it, and then that second one follows through and
your body says, I love.
Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
To see what happened. But I see, honestly this fight
either way going the decision. But I think I leave, Yeah,
I think.
Speaker 3 (01:26:06):
I think decision is definitely more.
Speaker 1 (01:26:08):
I'm gonna sit here and look at you in the
face and tell you Sean will get those shots.
Speaker 2 (01:26:12):
I think eats him.
Speaker 1 (01:26:14):
He goes to the decision, I think, and I don't
think he gets as many off and I think I
think it's just gonna be considered.
Speaker 2 (01:26:19):
Like, here's my thing. I totally understand the whole part
of Cardio.
Speaker 1 (01:26:22):
This is why I said I'm gonna go watch then
rewatch him and see this is the part where I
get with the Cardio aspect.
Speaker 2 (01:26:28):
Great, the cardios up fantastic.
Speaker 1 (01:26:31):
There's still seventy takedowns coming your way by defend, defend.
Speaker 8 (01:26:39):
But there's still he doesn't numbers as specialist. No, But
that's why I said decision, That's why, and that's why
I say.
Speaker 3 (01:26:51):
But he taken him, but he could drink. But listen,
And that's why I think the fight is gonna look
different this time. O'Malley's gonna know even if he does
take me down, right, I don't have to worry about
him finishing me on the floor. I just have to
know how to fight back.
Speaker 2 (01:27:06):
You just have to get up.
Speaker 3 (01:27:07):
Not all the time. I think he's going to allow
himself to be taken down a few times, and he's
gonna do the Kevin Holland tactic of we're gonna stay
down a little bit and we're gonna see who can
trade blows from down.
Speaker 1 (01:27:20):
So if he's able to land the shots from go
to the ground, which I think Kevin Holland was able
to do.
Speaker 2 (01:27:25):
But it's a rare thing that actually happened.
Speaker 1 (01:27:27):
Not a knockout, not a knockout, but just in terms
of the But like we were talking earlier about the judges,
I still think that even if he lands the shots,
I think that the judges will still probably score the
takedown and.
Speaker 2 (01:27:38):
The control time more than they would let like because
not a lot of power.
Speaker 1 (01:27:43):
That's what that's That's where I'm like, I get where
you're coming from. I'm not I think that we're looking
at like volume of shots, numbers stats. At the end
of the fight. I can see Sean landing more shots,
But I think that what's going to be taken as
weight as gold is going to be the takedown.
Speaker 3 (01:27:58):
By no means think that shot him. Maley Kim anyway
win this fight by a decision. So let's be clear
about that. When I say he's gonna take him down,
I think and say, hey, I don't have to just
piece you up on my feet. I can piece you
up on the ground to the point where I have
done enough damage to you by hand up, third start
or fourth, I catch you with that one. I see
(01:28:20):
where you because I think everyone's expecting him to just
stay on his feet and try to not get taken down.
And I think with a guy like Morab, you have
to accept he is going to take you down here.
But what can you do when he takes you down?
Can you reverse out of it, and then you're on
top and give him a couple of good ones.
Speaker 12 (01:28:35):
That's where I want.
Speaker 1 (01:28:36):
Shout out to m m A Guru. Follow mm A Guru.
He'll put you on some game. Shout out to mm
A Guru. He was having the same again. I was
watching Mighty Mouse. My mouse has a lot of good
content me. So I've gone to a bunch of the
UFC Boston.
Speaker 3 (01:28:48):
He was one of the guys I got to meet.
Speaker 2 (01:28:49):
Shout out Mouse. He seems like a guy that I
definitely got a couple of cross pass a little bit
of the part. He's a friend of the part. Don't
worry better. But I was watching I was watching m
A Guru on that and that's something that he was
talking about. When it came to the Shemaya.
Speaker 1 (01:29:00):
Aspect of things, where it's like, you know that this
is gonna happen, but you, as a fighter can dictate
how it goes when you land.
Speaker 2 (01:29:06):
Am I gonna land on my back? Am I gonna
laand on my side? Am I gonna get to this position?
Am I gonna allow him? In my footbook? How good
is my full guard? All these little aspects of the
fight you can control can you control him taking you down? No?
Can you control land? Yeah? So I agree with you
on that. So now now hey, you giving me some here.
Speaker 3 (01:29:26):
Why do we have these because a lot of us
we have seen these fights, some of us have training
and you see certain things in fights that you say, okay,
what are the adjustments that can be made? And one
of the things that are inevitable, right, Like everybody knows
if you fight a Dakistan, you're not You're.
Speaker 2 (01:29:43):
Waiting for the riot. You're waiting for this single leg double.
Speaker 3 (01:29:46):
They can't lose. And it doesn't, right because you've seen
some of the other guys that they've trained, right, how
they have lost. And it's always because people are said,
I accepted I was going to get taken down. It's
just what do I do as that's happening? What position
do I land in my heres? It's like early important
to right, can I strike off my back? Do I
know how to defend one of them? Because you see
(01:30:06):
a lot of these, especially not that you can do
these albums, and I haven't took advantage enough. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:30:13):
Well, I'm gonna I'm not gonna lie to you. That
last fight, that last fight, that that Gilba Burns won.
Speaker 1 (01:30:18):
They took advantage, they took it, took a full advantage,
and nothing was illegal legal.
Speaker 2 (01:30:25):
Now I would say, I see Shawn's pass the victory
is what you described.
Speaker 1 (01:30:31):
I see we're gonna we're gonna damage him and get
him to the point where he's thinks that he's got it,
and then we're gonna clip him.
Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
That's where I see him winning.
Speaker 1 (01:30:40):
The fact that, like Morob when it comes to Cardio,
I don't see you depleting the gas tank as you
can with some other wrestlers were like, you know, like
let's take three to five rounds. As long as you
tire them out in round one or two, you take
the ride for the take them. They're gonna bring you whatever.
But you tired them out, you get that gas name weary.
Round three or round four and five, you can kind
of take over.
Speaker 3 (01:31:00):
In this situation.
Speaker 2 (01:31:00):
You know that that motherfucker is that round one, two, three, four,
So there is nothing you can do with that. So
I agree with you on that part, where I again
I still have to disagree with my heart of heart.
He did not change my mind.
Speaker 1 (01:31:11):
By the way, all the cameras, I still think Morob
is just going to be too much of that top pressure,
where like, as much as I want to believe, all right,
he does some damage and maybe, yeah, I'm going with
more than likely.
Speaker 2 (01:31:25):
Finish early and get it feel too.
Speaker 3 (01:31:31):
My thing is I more than likely see Morob winning
the fight, but I wouldn't be surprised if Maley does,
because I do think he is the type of fighter
that needs to be coming back. But he likes that
that helps his image, especially if you know his background right.
Speaker 2 (01:31:46):
He is the underdog guy always.
Speaker 3 (01:31:48):
That has always been his case, and it helps drive
him to push to the next level.
Speaker 2 (01:31:52):
And focus in these moments.
Speaker 3 (01:31:54):
I think he was too comfortable with win ends championship,
defending it one time before and feeling like doing that
guy right now, I have all these the UC promotion
backing so much it all comes at once, and he
was just more caring about promoting his image than it
was about maintaining the supremacy that he had. And I
(01:32:14):
think if you're not evolving as a martial artist, it
just takes the next guy in one of two fights
to catch up to you. And Moravin is one of
those guys that it doesn't matter who you are, He's
gonna keep training to catch up.
Speaker 2 (01:32:25):
To you one thousand percent.
Speaker 1 (01:32:26):
That's that's something we brought up several times talking about
this one here and honestly, this one right here, that
money comes in.
Speaker 2 (01:32:32):
And sleeping in on those silk sheets broke.
Speaker 4 (01:32:34):
I don't know if you you can do it's too comfortable, fish, don't.
Speaker 2 (01:32:39):
Get too comfortable that. Let's send this episode.

that you guys share when it comes to m M A,
you know, when it comes to a lot of sports,
and I think it's good that we can find these
faces to have these combos where we put our opinions
out there and we don't need to be the experts
to do it right.
Speaker 2 (01:34:42):
We just need to have the belief in.
Speaker 3 (01:34:44):
The past, right Educated. So the passion that we have
is what makes this interesting. And I think you'll be
seeing a lot more people joining this and we'll be,
you know, doing different formats. One day we may be
in the studio. Who knows, one day we maybe had
a fight, right baby presents.
Speaker 1 (01:35:04):
Anyways, ladies and gentlemen, that has been another episode of Educated.
Speaker 2 (01:35:07):
In the main I'm your host, the most warner bread
to beat, yet can't beat up the world.
Speaker 1 (01:35:10):
Armin gen justin we are out peace again. It
