Speaker 1 (00:00):
Tonight's episode of the Unreligious Podcast is Spiritual Warfare in
real time. For thirty seven episodes, Chris and Drew recorded
without interruption, no glitches, no static, no resistance. But ever
since this new series began, the attacks have started. Each
of the last three episodes has been hit with problems,
audio dropouts, corrupted files, sudden malfunctions, and tonight it escalated

(00:26):
shortly after Drew barely began digging into the heart of
the episode, everything went dark, power outage, total blackout, no warning,
no explanation. Drew was gone. Chris was left alone to
carry the message forward. This isn't a random glitch. This
is the front line of a spiritual war. The Bible
tells us the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy.

(00:49):
When truth is being spoken, darkness reacts. If Satan can't
silence your voice, he'll break the mic. If he can't
shut you up, he'll try to shut you down. It's
clear now something does not want this message to be heard,
but the message is still going out. Chris and Drew
aren't pastors or prophets. They're not perfect. They're just two

(01:10):
men who fear God more than they fear the devil,
and they refuse to retreat. They will finish the series.
They will speak truth, no matter what it costs. If
you're listening and you're drowning in anxiety, this is for you.
You are not crazy, you are not forgotten, you are
not too far gone. You are loved and you are
worth fighting for. This episode has been edited to remove

(01:32):
the dead air, but make no mistake, the battle behind
the silence was very real, so listen carefully. This is
spiritual warfare. This is the part the enemy tried to stop.
This is the quiet part set out loud.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Welcome to another episode of the Religious Podcasts. We've spread
the love of Jesus without judgment or by laws, focusing
solely on Jesus Christ and the Bible. I'm Chris, i
am Big Drew Ski. Yes sir, going to your your blurbs.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Make sure you guys like, subscribe and share this podcast.
We are live on the socials, which I'm currently trying
to share as talking to our Facebook page, but we
are live on Facebook and YouTube. If you guys are
watching this later, don't worry. Feel free to go ahead

(02:38):
and comment. We will get to those comments later and
if you guys end up popping in here, as we
go or whatever. Just feel free to comment and stuff
and then at the end we'll get to we'll get
to some of them if you guys have questions or
shout outs or anything like that. Also, we've been asking
us for a while. You guys have done a good job.

(03:00):
But on our actual podcast page or our Facebook socials, whatever,
try to leave us a review because that helps plug
us into the algorithms. Admittedly, you know, me and Chris,
we don't exactly you know, we're both pretty busy. We
don't necessarily have enough time to like promote it and

(03:21):
pull the clips and repost them and all that stuff.
So that helps us out more than you guys know.
We're on episode forty dude, we're like twelve away from
the one year mark. That's that's pretty crazy.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
That's pretty good.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
And you know what's even crazier, we haven't missed dropping
on a Monday yet.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Not I would. Yeah, I mean, it's so we try
to record these two weeks out if we can. It
just doesn't always work. Like we'll get a little buffer
and then life will happen. And so like right now
we're recording this like the Thursday before it drops. But uh, yeah,
we try our best to and like literally as we

(04:03):
were starting this, it started like raining and stuff. So
I'm hoping like the power doesn't go out or something,
but uh, yeah, it's it's a wild ride. Dude, doing
a podcast is tricky. Most people don't they don't understand
how tricky really is. But I think we I think
we're hitting a better groove now that we're trading topics,

(04:26):
you know, because dude, there was sometimes we get done
with a series on like a Tuesday, and then uh,
we'd be like, oh, Grant, we're going to talk about
on Thursday. I mean, it's a wild ride. I love it.
It's wild.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
I love it too.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
It's it's crazy, it really is, because we always try
to work to get at least a week buffer, sometimes two,
and it seems like every time Drew and I record
twice in one week and we get that buffer, something
happens that next week where we can't record and we
lose the buffer and we're back to Okay, we've got
to record some one day this week.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
So yeah, it's just wild.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I think it works out pretty good because then that
kind of allows us to like sort of stay current.
I don't know that i'd want to get any more
than two weeks out per se, but I.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
Mean, you never know.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
I mean we may down the road, we may end
up dropping two episodes in a week or something. You
never know. But I have noticed. I me and Chris
were talking about this last week. You guys are starting
to spread out pretty good. Like we're getting some good
We're getting good views on Facebook, getting views on a

(05:37):
YouTube and the podcast page as well. So you guys
are definitely spreading it. We're getting more and more views
and stuff every week, which I'm super thankful for. I
just I mean, like I said, I've been blessed through
this whole thing. Really. I mean, you know, when me
and Chris first started it, it was kind of like, Okay,

(05:59):
we'll do this, you know, and that was like we
kind of were getting into the groove of it, and
then it's like, you know, uh, it's I mean, like
I said, I I thoroughly enjoy it. And it's funny
like in my conversations even like I'm I'm I've noticed,
you know, because like I've been trying to do better
the last couple of years about reading my Bible more consistently,

(06:22):
but I've noticed the more and more episodes we do.
I'm like, oh, yeah, I'm like remembering scripture more and stuff.
So I hope that that's hoping you guys out as
well as far as that goes.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
But yeah, it helps me a ton, dude. I mean,
I was reading the Bible.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
Like I've said it before, I've read the whole Bible
once through completely about a year ago, and then I've
gone back and read the New Testament again. And you know,
even though I was reading all of that, we didn't
have the podcast going. I really I was studying, but
nothing was like sticking heavy. And now now that we're

(07:01):
not just reading but we're studying the topics, we're getting
scripture for the topics that we're bringing up and discussing,
and man, I'm telling you, yeah, it's like I'll be
listening to another podcast on YouTube or something and I'll
hear one of the guys say a verse and I'm like, oh,
I know that one, and I know where it's at too,
Whereas I've already been like, oh, I got to remember

(07:21):
that verse well.

Speaker 7 (07:23):
And so I when I taught Sunday school a few
weeks back before that, when my Sunday school teacher Dave
had asked me to fill in, you know which I
you know, he knew about the preacher thing, you know which,
if you're just now listening to this, I.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Accepted the call. Well, actually, I've got my little handy
dandy Bible here, So I accepted the call on like
March twenty six and then June fifth is when I

(08:04):
officially announced it. And then the sixth is when I
bought this little bible here. But but I announced the
call to preach or whatever. And but that was one
of the things that he mentioned, you know, because I
was like, yeah, you know, teaching Sunday school can be
a little intimidating or whatever. And he was like, man,

(08:25):
you know, the best way to learn is to teach.
You know. It's like that's true, Like when you think
about it, you know, they they they talk about that
a lot, like if you really want to learn something
in depth, teach it, you know. And you know, like
even in like high school, you know, I remember teachers

(08:47):
would be like, hey, you know, you're doing pretty good
in this topic. You know, why don't you, you know,
help that your your buddy there or whatever, Because for one,
when you're sort of on the same level you can
explaining better. But then it's like it does it makes sense.
It's just like, I mean, dude, me and you both
knew how to drive a truck, but then we went

(09:07):
to the truck driving school and we started teaching it.
It really just your brain is just like because then
you're like constantly having to figure out like, Okay, how
do I take this and relay it to somebody and
to where they can relay. And dude, I learn more
about driving a truck by teaching it than I ever
would have just driving it, you.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
Know, Oh absolutely.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
I mean you know, before I was teaching it, it
was basically just muscle memory because I had done it
so many times. And then when you start teaching it,
you find out, guess what, these people don't see it
the same way you do. You've got to try to
take what you know and and turn that into a
lesson that they can understand and language that they can

(09:51):
get so they can figure it out. Yeah, dude, I
miss it. I can tell you right now. I miss
teaching a lot a lot.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Yeah, I yeah. I was just looking at my I
was just looking at my Google Docs thing. It said
my storage is at seventy two percent because uh, you know,
we've got so many of these episodes, so I don't know,
we maybe meet, you know, me and Christle. You know,
maybe I'll I'll rip all as many of the notes

(10:19):
as I still have or something, and maybe we'll I
don't know, put some kind of document out or something
you guys can download it or something. Who knows. But
I just had the little notification popped up and I
was like three percent, and then I got to thinking,
I'm like, well, there's you know, a bunch of episode
notes in there too.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
We push a print out of pdf the podcast notes.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Well, and you never know, like maybe, I mean, I
don't know, maybe we'll do like some kind of like
devotional outline or I mean, you know, who knows what's
gonna happen. The whole tea spring thing didn't work out.
I mean I ordered something like two months went by
and I was like fighting to get my moneybags. So, uh,
you know, we'll have to figure something out. But uh

(11:04):
but yeah, so how's your week been? Well? Actually, well,
I don't know if you want to how much you
want to share, but I didn't get the update from
the other or not. We was going to record tuesdays
and you had something pop up. I don't know if
you want to talk about that or not.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
Yeah, my wife, uh ended up having to.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
Go to the er, which she never goes to the er,
like when she had meningitis. I had to drag her
to the er. Well, she was sick for two days
in a row with a bad headache and stomach ache,
and I'm, you know, waiting for her to tell me
because I'm not going to argue with her to go
to the hospital. And I finally went in there on

(11:42):
Tuesday and I said, are you okay if you want
to go to the clinic or whatever the walk and
we can go.

Speaker 4 (11:48):
She said no, I'll be all right, dude.

Speaker 5 (11:50):
I came out and sat in my chair and I
wasn't there five minutes and she came out of the bedroom.
Yeah we should go, Okay, So we went over to Earth.
Here's crazy, Okay. We went to urgent care and they
tell us we get into urgent care, they tell us, hey, uh, sorry,
it's gonna be about an hour before a doctor is
even here. We don't even have a doctor on staff

(12:12):
right now. Wow, how do you run walking clinic without
a doctor there? So we just yeah, we left there
and went over to the er, which, you know, Lord's blessings,
the er was empty, like there was nobody in there,
so we got right in. It turned out it was
just probably the worst migraine headache she's ever had in

(12:34):
her life. And it also turned into I don't know
if you've ever heard of but a stomach migraine.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
No, I've never heard of that one.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Oh yeah, you can get stomach migraines too, dude.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
Yeah, I'm literally I mean, I get migraines all the time,
but I never heard of a stomach migraine.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
Yeah, yeah, you can get stomach migraines. So that's what
she had. She had a double up. So they socked
her with some medication and knocked her out for a
while in the emergency room, turned all the lights off,
and an hour later she was great.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
She's been doing good since.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
That's definitely good. I mean, obviously, that's uh, that's always
scary whenever you got to go to the hospital or
the er or something.

Speaker 5 (13:11):
So with her with her having meningitis you know once before,
and it literally almost killed her. She almost didn't make
it through it, and it started with a headache of migraine.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
So now is she when she starts getting a real.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Bad migrant to Michael, I start researching, how, how what's
the percentage of a relapse of meningitis? And yeah, I
start freaking out, dude, because I mean, the last thing
in the world I need is to lose my wife.
So whenever she gets fazy, it some meningitis, is it.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
It's funny. It's like I worry about my family more
than I do myself or whatever, So I totally understand
anything else happened this week.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
Just dude, man, my heart's been broken. It's been broken
the past two days.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
You know.

Speaker 5 (13:59):
We live right by a quarry and literally it's not
even one hundred yards off our back porch to the quarry,
and it's an old rock quarry. They hit a spring
and it filled up with water.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
Well, one side of the.

Speaker 5 (14:12):
Quarry they have a beach and you can it's kind
of like a public pool. You pay like ten bucks
or whatever and you get in for the day. They've
got like huge inflatables out on the water and just
a big like water fun park. Well they have it
roped off because the quarry is huge. The rest of
the quarry has cliffs that you can jump off of
into the quarry. However, if there's signs posted it's illegal

(14:34):
to do it, don't do it. But you know people
have been doing it since it filled.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
Up with water.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
Well, my wife and I were sitting here and all
of a sudden, I think it was Yeah, it had
been Tuesday, bad day, Tuesday too is so we see
all these fire trucks and ambulances come rolling into the quarry.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
And I'm like, what is going on?

Speaker 5 (14:59):
I turn out at thirteen year old boy jumped off
the cliffs and went down and never came up. Yeah,
so it went from a rescue mission to a recovery
and they were trying to recover the body Tuesday evening,

(15:19):
but it got dark, so they had to call off
the search until Wednesday morning. Yesterday morning and around noon
they found him. But dude, it just it made me sick.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
It made me ill.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
It just it breaks my heart. It's thirteen years old,
you know, just having fun swimming and tragedy strikes.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
And I don't know why, but it just it it
breaks me. Dude.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
It makes me so sick to my stomach thinking of
that that kid and then his family. So yeah, we
definitely need to say some prayers for that family because
there I can't even imagine what they're going through right now.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Yeah, I'll definitely add that's a note. Like you said, man,
I mean, that's you know, it goes from a fun
day to just a tragic day like that family podcasts. Yeah,

(16:22):
that's I mean, like you said, it's sometimes it's it's
hard to wrap you know, our minds around things like that,
you know, when it's so sudden or whatever. And you know,
obviously we're talking about you know, self inflicted and and
stuff like that, but you know, when stuff like that happens,

(16:44):
it's it's I mean, it's never easy. It's never easy
to deal with, never easy to you know, wrap your
head around. Man, and and the kid that young, you know,
it's just I mean, like you said, it's like, you know,
you're just out swimming, having a good time whatever, and
then you know, something like that happens. So definitely need

(17:06):
to remember them in our prayers. As far as like,
you know, me and my week, it was pretty much
a normal week. I guess I'm getting more busy with
the video gigs, which is is good, that's helpful, But

(17:29):
at the same time, it's like I mean, I work
a regular job and then I'm doing that stuff on
the side or whatever. So it's it's kind of a
beautiful blessing. But it's just been kind of a normal week.
They see went out in my car. I literally went
to leave work today and there was nothing blowing. So
I was like, uh, like, okay, that's cool. So you know,

(17:54):
it's like life wrecked her car a few weeks back,
which we got the chain that are well, we got
the amount, not necessarily as much as we wanted, but
it should be enough. We've got a family vehicle that
we're gonna purchase, like from a family member, so should
be enough to least purchase that with maybe a little

(18:15):
bit left over. They're gonna reimburse us for the car seats,
which is cool, you know, but that having her car
wreck and then having my car kind of crap outs.
Just like man, But you know, it's just one of
those seasons or whatever. You know, nothing nothing too major
that we can't overcome or anything like that. But you know,

(18:36):
used to I would be like, oh, dude, but you
know now it's like, well, you know, I trust God,
I know it's a season. I know, you know we're
gonna come out on the other side of it. But
you know, obviously it's like money issues and stuff like
That's whenever things tend to constrict, it can be a
little stressful or whatever. But yeah, no, it was pretty

(18:58):
normal week.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
Good deal man.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
Yeah that was I mean, it was just it was
just weird, Like the rest of the week has been good,
but it was just like Tuesday, I woke up and
I didn't go down to the lake like I do
usually in the morning and watch the sunrise. And it
was like I went to the store and I had
a bad experience with the cashier, and then I went

(19:23):
to another store and another bad experience, and then my
wife getting sick on Tuesday, and the tragedy at the
quarry on Tuesday. It was like, man, what is going
on today? It was like just left and right. We
just kept getting hit with one two.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
Yeah. Uh, I don't know if that's just in my
earbud or what I think. I think it picks it
up on the recording sometimes too, but yeah, where that's
coming from.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
Hear it right now?

Speaker 5 (19:57):
But I know that when I listened to the first
step so of this series. Yeah, every now and then
you could hear the feedback, and I could hear you
talking and then it was like following you after you
were done talking a little bit, but only happened like
once or twice, and it was only for.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Yeah, like I said, I guess it's just spiritual warfare
on this series that we're doing, because like literally we've
not had any of these issues up to that point.
But so prayer requests. I've got your son, and then
we wrote down the family from the quarry, I wrote

(20:37):
down just we haven't got my wife's Mr News back,
so I'm gonna put that in there, but just her
recovery her car now my car. We also have your
family and your house. Is there anything else we need

(20:58):
to add?

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Know, I think that'll cover us for right now.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
Yeah, definitely, okay, And obviously you know, if you guys
are watching this, if you're watching this later now eat away.
Feel free if you I mean, if you guys have
any prayer quests that you gotta want us to cover
by all means, send them in and you can also
email us at the Unreligious Podcasts at gmail dot com.

(21:23):
And then you can also message us if you want
to message us on Facebook if you have like a
private player request or something. Feel free to send those
in and if you want to keep them like anonymous
or unspoken or anything like that, just simply let us
know and then you know, we'll we'll we can even
pray for them off the podcast, or if you want

(21:43):
us to mention an unspoken prayer request or something on
the podcast, by all means let us know. Other than that,
I guess we'll go ahead and pray, and then we'll
go ahead and get started. Is it I can't? Is
it your turn?

Speaker 4 (21:58):
Yeah? Death mine?

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (22:00):
Cool?

Speaker 5 (22:00):
All right?

Speaker 3 (22:01):
And then like I said, you guys just pray along
with us.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
Okay, here we go.

Speaker 5 (22:08):
Father God, we thank you so much once again that
Drew and I are able to come together on a
Thursday night and just spread your love and the word,
and hopefully, Father, we reach people. All the glory be
to you, and we hope that we rich reach people

(22:30):
who need to hear these topics and who are struggling
with these topics. We pray that it helps them. We
pray that it encourages them to dive more into the
Word and seek answers of their own as well. Father,
we are so so fortunate to be able to do this. Father, Father,

(22:51):
I want to pray for the family of the boy
who was lost on Tuesday. It's so hard, our father.
We are are such fragile creatures and we all too
often forget that we are and I think we're invincible
and do things. And Father, I just pray that you

(23:14):
send your angels to that family and that Jesus you
show up with them, which I know you will you
always do. Just wrap your arms around that family and
help them to lean on you in this time of
tragedy and not understanding things.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
Father.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
We want to pray for Ivy, Drew's wife, recovery from
the MRI. Our MRI results come back, okay, Father. We
want to pray for getting her a new car, something
that her and the kids can get around in.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
Father. We pray for Drew's car as well.

Speaker 5 (23:51):
The AC went out, and this is the wrong time
of year for that, Father, So I pray that you
use your mighty powers, You're almighty hand and either bless
him financially where they can get a car, or magically
or through your powers, let that AC start working again.
Because that's rough, Father, but it always could be worse.

(24:15):
So we're still grateful. We're grateful for the fact that
we have transportation. Father, I just want to pray for
my family. Want to pray for the the ones who
are still wandering, the ones who have not found their
way back to you. I want to pray that for everybody, Father,
everybody in this world. Gather your sheep, bring us home. Father,

(24:41):
that's where we want to be.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
Father.

Speaker 5 (24:43):
I pray for our house in Portugal. This is going
to be the last time I pray, Father for that.
I know you hear our prayers, and I know you're working,
and I have to let go of it, Father and
trust in you, and your timing is perfect. You've heard
the prayers, and I'll just wait patiently for your answer.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
Now.

Speaker 5 (25:04):
Father, Father, we want to pray for this podcast. We
want to thank you so much. I want to thank
you so much for putting this on my heart and
for putting me back in contact with Drew again.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
I've forgotten how much we.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
Get along, and I love this dude, and I just
thank you that you put it on his heart to
help me and the two of us got this going.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Father.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
I pray that it just just glorifies your kingdom and
draws people closer to you and helps people understand more
I know it helps us. Father, we love you. We
pray that you're with all of us throughout our week,
and we pray that you bless this podcast in Jesus name.

Speaker 4 (25:49):
I pray.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
Okay, all right, Well, I guess the power went out
and Drew while I was praying. Again, we talk about
spiritual warfare, and well, i'd see we're getting spiritual warfare
right now. So we're having technical difficulties. He's lost the
power from the rainstorm there. This is his topic. So

(26:14):
I guess we are going to hit the pause button
and wait for him to come back on. I would
not feel right proceeding without Drew. I don't know if
he made it through the prayer. I don't know if
the live cast made it through the prayer. I could
be talking to myself for all I know right now.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
Hey, can you hear me? Yeah, I've just been talking
to myself this whole time. Sorry.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
I tried to send you text. My power went out
one second. You'm trying to get set up on.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
My phone here.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
Yeah, which I mentioned that the power may go out,
but I didn't actually think it was going to go out,
but then it did. It kept it rowan, so let
me get I'm on my phone right now, guys, bear
with us. Like I said, spiritual warfare. Okay, you guys
should be to hear me. If the power goes back on,

(27:03):
I will switch to my back to my laptop. The
good news is I've got some juice and I do
still have my notes pulled up, thankfully, so I'm.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
Hoping the power will kick back on.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
So that.

Speaker 6 (27:22):
We can keep rolling.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
But like we said, guys, spiritual warfare, I'm gonna have
to literally do this in the dark.

Speaker 6 (27:28):
Okay, we have never been then we have on this episode.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
This episode is something that's serious. Like he did, we
just do not want anything to do with us doing
this happening.

Speaker 3 (27:42):
No, dude, literally, it's been nothing but a headache. So okay,
So and I am on my I'm on my bluetooth.
I'm not on my mic, guys, so I'm not sure
how the audio is gonna sound or whatever, but we'll
sort that out later.

Speaker 6 (27:58):
So again, we're talking.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
About the demonic stronghold of suicide and overcoming that, which
is why we're having so many issues.

Speaker 6 (28:13):
Because, like Chris said, the enemy just really doesn't.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
Want us to go over this topic.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
So the first episode we kind of defined sort of like, okay,
what is suicide? We defined, by the way, when did
you do you remember the time stamping on when you
were praying?

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Was it about twenty minutes ten somewhere around there?

Speaker 3 (28:36):
Yeah, okay, so we'll subtract ten minutes or so from
the time stamp as far as the episode went. But
so the first episode we kind of identified like, okay,
what is suicide? What are the numbers?

Speaker 6 (28:52):
We kind of took a little.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Bit of a world approach to it, and then we
did do a little bit of script. Last episode we
really talked about the different attacks and some of the
methods and stuff that the enemy uses, and so on
this episode we're going to kind of pick up with
what is God's answer? Well, the short answer is God's

(29:18):
answer is to choose life. The Bible versus well, I
pulled a couple out, but Deuteronomy thirty nineteen says, I
call heaven and Earth as witnesses today against you that
I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore,
choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.

(29:39):
Psalms one, eighteen seventeen. I shall not die, but live
and declare the words to the Lord. We went over
Romans eight one, Psalm thirty four eighteen, and Jeremiah twenty
nine eleven last week.

Speaker 6 (29:56):
But you know, so one another example that you.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Know, I just kind of pulled from the Bible was
the difference between Peter and Judas. Ripe Second Corinthian seventen says,
for godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to
be regretted, but the sorrow of the world produces death.
You know, you have Peter and Judas. Right, Peter basically

(30:23):
denies Christ three times. That's like one of the lowest
moments really in Peter's like walk. He literally denied God
before man, right, because it was like, okay, you know,
Jesus was literally pretty much getting beaten essentially, like right
in front of him, and somebody in the crowd notices

(30:46):
him and they're like, oh, you're one of his followers and.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
He's like no, no, no, I'm not. They're like, yeah
you are.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
And he's like no, i'm not, and then they're like no, no,
I seen you it. And then he basically cusses him
out and says no, I'm not, you know, and denies
Jesus right in front of his face, and then he
retreats in the osolation. Judas is the disciple who.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
Actually like but betrayed Jesus and essentially led him to
his death. The difference is both of them failed, and
both of them had low moments. However, Judas isolated and
he listened to the devil and ended up, you know,
taking his own life. Peter falled too, but instead he

(31:32):
ran to God and was restored. So when we're looking
at okay, how do you break this stronghold again?

Speaker 3 (31:41):
Ps. One eighteen seventeen says I shall not die, but
live and declare the works of the Lord one Corinthians,
ten thirteen. I think that this is a really good
verse to you. It says no temptation is over, such
as common a man, but not as faithful.

Speaker 5 (32:01):
And dude, you're not there, bro, I don't think this
is gonna work.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
People.

Speaker 5 (32:14):
We're losing dru left and right. I don't even know
if I'm still on told you spiritual warfare is real.
Every time, every time we try to get this podcast
rolling on this topic, it's a fight every time. So

(32:39):
that tells us that we know that this is a
very important topic.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
For us to be discussing.

Speaker 5 (32:48):
If it weren't, we'd be gliding right through this with
no issues whatsoever. But being the third time now there
are three episodes and problems on all three episodes. That's
that's spiritual warfare. That is not coincidence. So if y'all
are watching this right now, I don't even know. I

(33:09):
don't even know if I'm still alive. I don't know
if Drew is. I know you can't see him because
I can't. I don't know what's going on. I know
he lost his internet because he lost his power, and
his phone signals probably not very strong there in that.

Speaker 4 (33:26):
In that apartment without a router.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
So once again, I don't want to take this topic
from him and continue on with it because I would
feel like I'm overstepping my bounds. I have read through
the notes, I am familiar with them, but once again
I feel that Drew should be running this topic. He
was getting ready, he was reading one Corinthians ten thirteen.

(33:52):
No temptation has overtaken you. Accept such as is common demand.
But God is faithful, who will not allow you to
be tempted beyond what you are able. But with the
temptation will also make the way of escape that you
may be able to bear it right there, who will

(34:12):
not allow you to be tempted beyond what you're capable
of handling. So when you're tempted beyond what you're capable
of handling, that is not God tempting you anymore. That
is the enemy tempting you. Now, God says it right here.

(34:33):
He will not you beyond what you're able to take.
Right He's not gonna weigh you down with more than
you can handle emotionally or spiritually. So when you start
having thoughts of leaving this world, then that is not

(34:53):
God anymore. That is the enemy whispering in your ear.
That is the enemy bringing those thoughts to you, because
that's what the enemy wants. I mean, the enemy wants
you to take your own life. The enemy doesn't want
you to live a life like God wants you to have.
And so it's the enemy's job to take that away

(35:17):
from you, to take your life from you, whether it
be physically and actually take your life from you, or
whether it be spiritually and separated from God for the
rest of your life. Either way, it's exactly what the
enemy is looking for. It's exactly what the enemy wants.
So you can be rest assured by scripture one Corinthians
ten thirteen that if you're feeling like you have more

(35:42):
on your plate than you can deal with, if you
feel like you have more in life than you can handle,
right now, I can tell you that that's Satan, that's
the enemy at work, and that's when it's time to
reach out and get in touch with your father again. Pray, pray,
because you've got to get that enemy out of there.

Speaker 4 (36:03):
You've got to rebuke.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
Him out of your heart, your soul, out of your mind.
You've got to use the Lord's name and get him
out of there. So again, I'm going to finish this
little bit up here, and then I'm going to sign
off and let Drew kind of do what he wants
to do with the rest of this. We may have
to come back to it again next week. This may

(36:24):
be a short podcast, or we may not even put
this one up.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (36:29):
I know we're live right now.

Speaker 4 (36:30):
I know I'm alive. It's showing me live on the screen. Anyway.

Speaker 5 (36:34):
So the verse verse Corinthians ten thirteen, that verse is
about temptation, not suffering.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
Exactly what I was just talking about.

Speaker 5 (36:43):
It doesn't say God won't put more on you than
you can it. Yeah, so God won't put more on
you than you can handle. It means he won't put
more on you that he can handle through.

Speaker 4 (36:54):
You, if that makes any sense.

Speaker 5 (36:57):
So God's not going to put any anything on you
that he can't handle through you. However, if you don't
have God in your life, then that's so much easier
for the enemy to step in and make you feel
that way. So I just want to conclude here, So

(37:20):
call on Jesus. Okay, you've got to call on Jesus,
You've got to call on the Lord. I can tell
you personally, I have been so down and out at
times that I have literally, not figuratively, literally I have
fallen on my knees wherever I happen to be standing,
and I have bowed down, and I have cried, and
I have poured my heart out to Jesus, and I

(37:41):
have told him I need you, you need to come,
I need you now. And people, he shows up. He
hears us, and he shows up. May not be the
way you want, may not be the way you expect,
but he will show up for you. Reach out healing
begins in community. Okay, if you're a person who suffers
from depression, which is a lot of us these days,

(38:04):
I would recommend a men's group, a lady's group, a
life group, small group, whatever, church you know. Drew and
I talk a lot about the Unreligious podcast because of religion,
but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't.

Speaker 4 (38:20):
Go to church.

Speaker 5 (38:22):
Hey, by all means you need to go to church.
You need, if nothing else, you need the connection with
the people there who are going to support you, who
are going to pray for you, who are going to
be there for you, who are going to encourage you
when you're down. We've said it over and over and
over again on this podcast. Okay, over and over again.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
You've got to You've got to be in the word.

Speaker 5 (38:41):
You've got to be connected this men's group that I'm
attending on Saturday night. People, this is the best thing
I've done. I'm fifty six years old. I've never done it.
I wish I would have done it years ago. I
truly do you know.

Speaker 4 (38:54):
I think there's a lot of people out there who
have given in to.

Speaker 5 (38:59):
Saint and had they had a support group, had they
had people that they knew cared and wanted to walk
them through tough situations. I think there's a lot of
people would have been a lot better. So then you
have to renounce the spirit in Jesus' name. I reject
the spirit of death and suicide. You have to say
it in Jesus name. All things are done through Jesus name.

(39:21):
All things are done through him all things. You can't
talk to God without Jesus, you can't. You can't, So
you have to use Jesus. So you need to call
on the name of Jesus. And I've done that as well.
Use Jesus's name. Anytime you're praying, anytime you're rebuking something,
anytime you're wanting something to get better, you need to

(39:44):
pray it all in Jesus name.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
Okay, And then.

Speaker 5 (39:51):
You've got to you've got to get help. You've got
to reach out. And I know that that's difficult. I
know that you feel helpless. I know you feel like
there's nobody there who's going to help you. There's nobody
there who's going to care enough that you're in the

(40:12):
position that you're in. But you are wrong. I promise
you you are wrong. There are people out there who
care deeply about you who don't even know you but
would love.

Speaker 4 (40:26):
To get to know you. And we've talked about this.
I love you.

Speaker 5 (40:32):
If you're listening to this podcast. If you're not listening
to this podcast, I love you anyways. I mean, we
are called to love everybody, our enemies, everybody. So there
are people out there for you. There are hotlines for
you to call. Don't be ashamed. Don't think that it's
shameful if you have to call a hotliner. If you

(40:55):
have to go check yourself in, that's okay. That's okay,
you know it really is. It's okay to go check
yourself in because then you can get the help that
you want, and you can get the help that you need.
If you don't want to go to a hospital and

(41:16):
check in, call somebody, reach out. You're not alone. It
doesn't have to be that way. And typically it's not
people who find themselves going through this and who actually
commit suicide. I think that they don't realize the love

(41:36):
that's there for them. We have as humans, we have
this tendency. I mean, I know I do of getting
in my own head and going to those dark places,
the dark places that exist with the enemy, and they're
so easy to fall into. But you need to fight

(42:00):
against that. You need to find the people who love you.
You need to find the people who care, and you
need to reach out and you need to lean on them.
And there's nothing nothing shameful about telling people. Look, I
just can't take anymore. I don't want to do this anymore.

Speaker 4 (42:19):
Trust me. There's a lot of people going through the
same thing I go through it.

Speaker 5 (42:23):
There's days I just don't want to do it anymore.

Speaker 4 (42:26):
But you know what Christ is in me.

Speaker 5 (42:31):
And when I feel like I don't want to do
it anymore, I reach out to him and I tell
him I need you. I need you to come in
here with the Holy Spirit, and I need you to
show me that it's okay. You know, Jesus wants us
to have a life of abundance. God wants us to

(42:53):
have a life of abundance. They don't want us to
have a life of hardships and peril and dark times.
I mean, they're gonna happen. It's life. That stuff is
gonna happen to everybody. But at least when you believe
in Jesus, you have salvation, you have a savior, you
have a way out. You know that you're going to

(43:18):
spend eternity with him, but he wants you to do
the good works on the earth first. He has a
plan for you. He has great things for you if
you will just submit, and you will just trust in him.
Every one of us. He's got a plan for every
one of us. And when we go down those dark

(43:41):
roads and when people commit suicide, you're robbing Christ of
his plan for you for a great life. And it's tragic,
and I don't like it. It hurts, and I don't
want ever, any buddy, anybody in this world to ever

(44:03):
be in that dark of a place where you just
don't even feel like calling on the Lord anymore, because
you know what, The Lord is always there. He's always
going to be there. Jesus loves you, and that's cliche,
but it's true. It's so true. You can read it
in scripture. God and Jesus love you more than anything.
You have people, human beings here on this earth who

(44:23):
love you and care about you. Right, if we love
and care about you, then you can't even imagine the
love that Jesus has for you and God has for you.
That's a love that we could never understand, not until
we're with him, we won't understand. So in John chapter ten,

(44:52):
verse ten, the thief comes only to steal, and kill
and destroy. Jesus says, I have come that they may
have life and have it to the fullest. Have life
to the fullest. That is Jesus's plan, That is his
goal for every one of us, is that we can

(45:13):
live life to the fullest. But you know what, we
let the enemy get in and we let our own
minds get in the way, and then we end up
in dark places. So I'm telling you from myself, I'm
telling you from Big Drew. I'm telling you from people
you don't even know. You're loved, You're cared about, your

(45:35):
treasured you don't even realize it, but you are. The
Unreligious Podcast loves everybody out there. We love y'all, We
really do, Drew and I. We're so blessed to be
able to talk to you and bring these messages to you.
And the only reason we do it is to glorify
the Kingdom and to draw people close to God, because

(45:57):
life is so much better when you have that kind
of resolve and when you have that kind of.

Speaker 4 (46:03):
Well, when you got God, who's got your six You're good.

Speaker 5 (46:09):
No matter what happens, You're good. So I'm going to
close out here. I don't know how much of this
Drew is going to post on Monday.

Speaker 4 (46:20):
I see what he means.

Speaker 5 (46:21):
It's a little bit daunting when you have to run
with it on your own, but here I am doing it.

Speaker 4 (46:29):
So I just this is a hard one. It's a
hard topic.

Speaker 5 (46:37):
So I'm going to roll out of here, and we're
gonna pray that the enemy stay at bay. Y'all. We
really need your prayers on this one.

Speaker 4 (46:49):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (46:50):
I know we're praying for other people and the topic
we're discussing is hard, but this just goes to show
you how hard this topic really is. We have been
under the A text, it's the Get Go Episode one two,
and now this one as well. I mean this one.
They tried to knock Drew out last time with audio
and me as well. We both had audio we couldn't record,

(47:10):
and now we have this, so there's no doubt in
our minds.

Speaker 4 (47:18):
The enemy is.

Speaker 5 (47:20):
Not wanting this message out there, which means what we're
doing is good.

Speaker 4 (47:26):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (47:26):
If the enemy is trying to stop this message, it
means it's going to reach somebody. I don't know how
many people, but it's going to reach somebody. This is
going to be hopefully life changing for somebody that this
series here. And I truly believe that that is why
the devil does not want it out there, because he
knows that there's a possibility that we're going to save
some people. And that's what it's all about. It's all

(47:47):
about God saving you. Okay, He's there for you. We
love you so much. Don't ever give up, don't ever
let the enemy win. Rooted, you know, keep rooted in
this thing right here, all right, Keep rooted in your church,
keep rooted in community, keep rooted in good, positive friends.

(48:10):
If you have friends who are negative, if you have
friends who put you down, they're not friends. Those are
the people you need to cut out of your life.
Those are the ones that are going to walk with
you down that dark road. And trust me, I know
it's hard when you have people who are doing no harm,

(48:31):
no good in your life, but nothing but harm. It's hard,
but sometimes you have to you have to cut them
away because you don't want to let them drag you down.
So this has been the Unreligious Podcast, partially solo, partially Withdrew.
We'll see what he does with it. Okay, this was
I I've tried to run with it, but like I said,

(48:53):
these are his notes, and I really I don't want to.
I don't want to trample on him. I know he
put a lot of work and a lot of effort
into this. So what I'm going to talk about is,
after this episode, we're gonna go ahead and do another
one on Don't Judge Me. Okay, when we finish this

(49:15):
one up, Satan allows us to which that was a
terrible thing to say. That was terrible.

Speaker 4 (49:20):
Forgive me. Yeah, God, God's all powerful.

Speaker 5 (49:23):
So we're gonna do one on don't Judge Me because
I think it's a hot topic. I think it's one
that we all struggle with, and I think it's one
that we need to be able to discern between judging
people and approaching them with love and kindness and calling
out behavior that we know is sinful.

Speaker 4 (49:42):
So it's gonna be along those lines.

Speaker 5 (49:44):
Y'all leave us a comment like subscribe, share, Please, We
need you, We love you, Thank you for watching, and
thank you for supporting us. It means a lot to us,
you know, Drew and I we don't do this for us.
We do this for the glory of God. We do
it for the Kingdom. We hope that we advance that

(50:06):
We hope that we're maybe not saving people, but at
least getting people to be curious about it and eventually
get saved. Our job isn't to save people, it's just
to spread the word and then God takes it from
there because we know we're not that powerful.

Speaker 4 (50:20):
It's all about Him.

Speaker 5 (50:22):
So again, I really really hope that this podcast is helping.

Speaker 4 (50:28):
I hope it's touching you.

Speaker 5 (50:29):
I hope that you are feeling the love from this
end of the screen because it's there. Reach out to
us if you have questions, comments, concerns, if you just
need somebody to talk to, if you just I'm not
a counselor dru It's not a counselor that I know of, Okay,
but we're real humans and we've walked in real life

(50:51):
just like everybody else. And if you just need somebody
to vent to, we're here. Reach out to us on
our Facebook page, messenger whatever. We will be there for you.
We really will.

Speaker 4 (51:03):
I promise you, I won't. I won't ignore you. This
is this is something that happens a lot.

Speaker 5 (51:09):
I think, and it needs to be brought to attention.
So anyways, I'm going to get out of here. Looks
like Drew is not going to make it back in.
But I hope you enjoyed this topic. We may touch
up more on it when we record again, when we're
able to and Drew has his power back on, we
might tap on this a little bit more for another episode.
Maybe we'll split the rest of this one and the

(51:30):
beginning of Don't Judge Me together. We'll see how it goes,
all right, But yeah, leave us comments, don't forget to like, subscribe,
share rate us if you don't mind. Please It really
helps us get the word out. It kind of gets
us a little more popular, so we can glorify God.
Until next time, I love y'all. Take care, And this
