Hey, it's way, and you'relistening to Untethered and Prosperous, the podcast
where we focus on the two biggestthings passionate, purpose driven entrepreneurs need to
untether to become wildly prosperous and successfullyhappy. And those two huge anchors are
bad money stories and chronic self sabotage. So what we do is have real

(00:24):
and inspiring conversations with amazing entrepreneurs whohave done just that. So get ready
to get untethered and get prosperous.Hey, it's way, and welcome to
another episode of Untethered and Prosperous tohelp you become more untethered from your bad
money stories and chronic self sabotage soyet you can live a more prosperous life.

(00:47):
And once again we have an eightminute micdrop with an amazing guest just
to give you a little taste ofwhat it's like to listen to the whole
entire episode. And I'm so excitedbecause Jacqueline Gallo is our eight minute mic
drop guests today and we just finishedrecording a fantastic episode chalk full of tips
and ideas, and here she isready to drop another one. So Jacqueline

(01:11):
eight minutes or less. What isyour tip or strategy for our audience to
help them become more untethered, becomemore prosperous, or all of the above.
Love it. My tipper strategy isto learn to celebrate progress, not
crossing the finish line. When youonly celebrate crossing the finish line, what

(01:33):
happens is you learn to put yourhappiness out in the future, which is
something we talk a little bit aboutin the episode, but we didn't really
get into how to untethered that.So that's why I want that to be
my eight minute mic drops. Sowhen you learn to celebrate progress, what
happens is you celebrate each step ofthe journey and you celebrate every day,

(01:55):
and crossing the finish line is fun, it's exciting. You can still celebrate
that, but you feel happy throughoutdaily life as opposed to only happy at
this finish line which then moves. So it really helps you ditch the i'll
be happy when and lean into feelingjoy throughout your journey as you pursue your

(02:20):
goals. And when you start todo that, it actually rewires your brain
to then see the journey in adifferent way. And when you can do
that you get excited about new ideas, you get excited about new goals,
and you become kind of like astudent of life, which to me is
the whole point of life in andof itself. So to make this really

(02:40):
tangible for you, because I likethings being tangible for people as opposed to
just inspiring you. What I recommendis creating some sort of progress Trucker.
So I have many in my lifeand in my business that I keep.
So one of them in front ofme is actually twenty twenty two podcasts interviews.
So when I get off this interview, I'm going to god a tally

(03:01):
to my tally mark whiteboard on thatone. That's one thing I cracked.
That's just one example of something thatI feel is great progress. I also
do monthly wins tracking, so Iwill every single month, at the end
of the month, right down allthe wins from the month, personal life,
business, anything that went well, whether it's a physical three D manifestation

(03:23):
like I sold this many spots inmy program, or it's something like I
shifted this belief that was really holdingme back. I tracked all of that.
I celebrate that, which is superpowerful. Sometimes you can even like
give yourself a reward. So afriend of mine did this and she said,
once I do twenty Instagram lives,I'm going to buy myself a Gucci

(03:46):
bag. And she was like soexcited about these twenty Instagram lives. She
had a physical tracker she checked themoff each day and then the best part
of the story is she actually wasgifted a bag, same exact bag she
wanted. So crazy. Yeah,it was insane, but it's it's a
beautiful example of what happens when youcelebrate progress and really you make that your

(04:10):
focus. So that would be mytip for today. Wow. That and
that's a mic drop worthy tip.I mean, it's almost like you get
the universe to conspire to help youcross that finish line so you don't have
to feel like you're doing it alone, you know, and just listening to
you is reminding me like, oh, I need to do more of that.
Actually, I'm such a finish lineorango person. I'm so I'm and

(04:33):
I admittedly I'm really good at crossingthe finish line. So it's like hasn't
really presented itself to be a problem, but I could see how life could
be so much richer if I wasto create celebratory points around the progress points,
so to speak, or the keythe KPIs right to get to where
we ultimately want to go. Ohso good, you know. And I'll

(04:55):
add even to that, I willeven celebrate the victory lap after the finish
line or you go to the nextrace, celebrate the flint and the waving
of the flag or whatever. ButI think, I think this is such
an awesome tip because it's all aboutmaking sure that you stay you know,
happiness doesn't become a goal, butbecomes a state of existence. It's going
to almost like a very repetitive thingor a constant thing that's in your life.

(05:21):
Yeah, And I think it's reallyimportant to remember that when you're going
about this journey and you are startingto track your progress, what you're really
doing is you're taking power back toyourself in the action steps you take,
which I think creates that happiness becauseyou feel happy because you showed up for

(05:44):
yourself into the action instead of puttingthe power in someone else. Because there's
just somethings you're not in control of, right, you're not necessarily in control
of if someone actually buys your courseor the example that I love to give
is the weather. It was supposedto rain on my wedding day, and
I was, you know, ohmy gosh, it's going to rain all
these things, and I said, wait a second, I'm not in control

(06:05):
of that. What am I incontrol of? And so I did the
things I was in control of.I felt really aligned with the actions I
had taken, which included deciding thatit was going to be awesome no matter
what, making a plan for indoorphotos, all of these things. Of
course, the weather shifted, likeliterally while I was in the ceremony getting
married, this guy's just like openedup for a few hours. And then

(06:29):
as soon as we walked into thebuilding to our actual reception, like we
walked in, it was like crackle, crackle, crackle rain. It was
just the most beautiful. I mean, I just felt like it was such
a manifestation such as spiritual experience becauseI took my power back in my action,
and I think that's something that canjust really support people through their journey

(06:53):
of Yeah, and I love thespiritual component to it because you know what
a lot of people don't realize.You know, there's a book that I'm
running called um The New Age Monk, which is all about embracing spirituality or
integrating spirituality into the knuckles of dailyliving. And I think, I think,
what just as entrepreneurs doing this, this this strategy that brings in so

(07:17):
much more than just happiness. Ithink there's a you're right, there's a
deep spiritual component. Where again, like I was saying, you you learn
to get have the universe help youso by conspiring for your success and your
happiness and your being able to befully supported all the way through the finish
line and beyond. So so good, and I got we gotta stop because

(07:41):
otherwise, you know, this isthis aiment and microft is going to turn
into eighty minutes. So drop themic. You're out of You're out of
here. I don't know why you'restill here, but anyway, so very
cool. We'll hope you enjoyed thatmic dropt from Jacqueline. Jacqueline Gallo is
