O Banco Central mudou as regras do débito automático e fechou uma brecha que, desde 2021, permitiu que milhares de aposentados do INSS sofressem cobranças indevidas. A mudança ocorreu no final de setembro, após investigação do UOL mostrar que seguradoras e corretoras de seguros usaram a brecha para enviar milhões de pedidos de débito automático aos bancos, sem precisar passar pelo filtro de segurança das instituições.
