Speaker 1 (00:00):
It'd be interesting to see what one of the greatest
players has played, what he thinks about the next generation
coming out to take over the crown. Maybe at some
point like the lacks of liminium out, Like what do
you see in this this young player?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I see huge potential, great talent. You need luck because
he's very young. I hope it not gets some problems.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
But he's doing if something even new or Messi has
ever done.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yes, it was in contest that helped him a lot.
Then the Spain national team is really really good, and
I think you have huge potential.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
But let's see.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
During his way that's what's going to happen. But I
believe that he's going to do it. It's going to be
the best, the best players for this new generation.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
How impressed were you with Judy Belan coming to Real Madrid?
Obviously you know that path and that journey and how
difficult it can be. How how impressedive you've been with
him in his first year at Real Madrid.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
No, it's the same, it's the same. It's huge, huge potential,
huge talents. You go to the club that it's the
environment was clean, was good, and you grow. You grow
like the other ones that come having like Rodrigo, like
Venetio's so it's good. I think it's in a team

(01:18):
that helped him to be a top player. And I
believe too that you're going to be one of the
best the next generation.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
And that takes me to your son, now, christ Junior, Yes,
what's a bit footballer? Yes, how would you feel about going? Like? Right?
Go and you go as I told you.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I say, I give you, I give you them up
as example, because you know this generation is difficult for
you to tell them something and letting them to do
it is difficult. Your kids you felt that is really difficult.
But always in my mind put you will see your
daddy by example. They see me every day what I

(01:57):
do in home, in a training or in the game.
Let's say if my dad is work a lot every time.
You understand, they see that. They see that. But right
in this moment, Christiana want to be a football player.
But I'm not making a big pressure. I make a
little bit of pressure. He's fourteen years old. I'm gonna

(02:19):
do it. We have the pressure ready to be son
of Christiano. Imagine if I make now in the middle
of big lions, right now, let him let him do
it his mistakes, let him do it his things. But
I hope so in the future it can be a
professional player, or if he's not being a player, be

(02:40):
another job. But I will always will support them because
we cannot make a pressure in our sons because we
are famous, and because of that, I don't want to
make that extra pressure.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Because you've been able to give them a different life
to what you had. Yeah, we both had. We had
humble bring in to when we're young. We've lived good lives.
Now because of football, they're largely different. So how do
you give them hunger? How do you give them the
work ethic?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
By example? I think it's the only way I give
good education to my kids. But by example, I think
it's it's it's the best way to try to teach
them and give you my advice, my knowledge, my experience.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Is the truth.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
When you say the truth something you see the man guy,
if I've champ music, they say the truth, I don't
lie you See. This is why I have conversations with
my friends a couple of days and I say, my
kid's gonna suffer. Your kid's gonna suffer, because one moment
of the life they're gonna have pain, you understand, and

(03:47):
the pain uncertainty and what they have to do with
constant work because nobody's gonna help them. They're gonna be
themselves in a hard moment and they're gonna falling down.
They have to stand cry along on and keep going.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Is you always show different to everybody else? Like even
as a kid at sporting growing up and then when
you signed United you've got big plays. Did you always
feel that you were a bit special?

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I felt that my education was different, the environment that
I are born was different, and the mindset was different
as well. But if you ask me why, I don't know.
I don't know why we because I think all human
beings were kind of We have some talent and we

(04:30):
are unique. We are special in some way. And I'm
not saying I'm more special than you or more special
than him. I was different, and I think an advantage
for my contests, the help that I have with my family,
the closest friends that are all surround.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
This is the last one. One more question. What were
you missed? Though? Man, You're gonna have to give up
this game one day, and I know you're You're the
kind of a guy who wants to play for another
four or five years. Yeah, if you do that, you
deserve it. But when you finally take your boots off
for the last time, what will we be wanted? A
couple of things that you go you know, I'm going
to miss that. I miss when I go into a

(05:07):
stadium on the big moments.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
I think that I'm not gonna I'm gonna miss I'm
not gonna have the adrenaline that's got a goal, or
to be in a bit to be nervous, you know,
to be I think I'm going to miss that because
other parts I'm you know, I'm in a good control
every people around me.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
I have good.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Business, will give good I have good things, good incomes that.
But I think that runner of football never going to
exist more. This is why I'm going a little bit
further than football, because with forties, you say I give everything.
You understand forty or forty one or forty what doesn't matter.

(05:47):
You say I give my body for twenty five years
of football. I cannot give more because you know, the
age don't allow us to go more farther. For example,
this is why I'm extend you understand my longevity, and
this is why I take care of myself, keep working
because I know that two three years more I still

(06:07):
can produce something good. This is why I told you
let me think in the present, I do it.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Other part, I prepare.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
My business area, which is going very very very well.
I will be missed, of course, I will miss probably
I will be a little bit.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Lost.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
But listen what I'm gonna do. You think I'm gonna
cry with all life that I have. Yeah, maybe a
little bit because I've become more sensitive, but I will
be a little bit like that, but I have ordered
things to worry another. It's going to be another chapter
of my life which is a business part that I'm

(06:48):
excited too, and that will be a challenge for me
and learn other areas that I really don't know. Be
more involved in my business, and I'm surround a very
very very good head, which is for me. The key
to have successful outside of the football as well in
the business part is to have people smarter than you,

(07:09):
and you have to be capable to understand that. I
think I'm smart in football, but in other areas have
people much more smarter than me. So you have to
be surround with them to learn with them, and you
make your own style, and to be good with these people,
to the business go up in my opinion.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Listen, thank you, thank you man.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
You're a good guy, and I'm happy to give this
entirety to you. I wish it's not the first one
and the last one, because life will continue, my channel
will continue, and other projects will continue.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I'm happy for you. Thank you so much
