In questo primo episodio parliamo dei modi in cui il diabete può portare conseguenze alla vista, quali sono i fattori di rischio e come possiamo limitarne il più possibile i danni.

FAND è la più importante associazione di persone con diabete d’Italia.
E’ stata determinante per l’approvazione della legge 115 del 1987, unica legge sul diabete.
Oggi FAND, che è medaglia al merito per la sanità pubblica riconosciuta dal Presidente della Repubblica, agisce prevalentemente sulla formazione del diabetico, guida e interloquisce con le istituzioni principali e con il Ministero della Sanità per migliorare la vita delle persone con diabete e per rivendicare farmaci e dispositivi che sono indispensabile proprio per la qualità di vita.
