My main man a Ronnie B from the ramp Park Casino,
King of the ramp Park Casino. Darrell Harris NBA dot

He casts a twelve dollars parlaye people. He's the promp

(03:40):
king eight hundred dollars Money in your pocket. I had
to tell him, man, they wouldn't have believe me if
I didn't. There you go. He liked that straight Great,
do your homework. That's it putting money in your pocket.
We're talking at basketball this morning. Also, guys, you gotta
be sure to push your clocks forward because it almost
got an old band today. For shout out to my

(04:05):
little cat. My little cat's age man. He came in
there looking for food I'm like, well, there you go.
You guys are looking for picks. He saved you guys
this morning again here with me Darryl Harrison Studio, Ronnie
B on the line. I'm just giving up some of
the picks that we had yesterday, Ronnie B. We did
pretty well. I gave out Kentucky dog was barking down

(04:27):
in Kentucky. That team is really going to push themselves
to the limit here. I think in the SEC tournament,
if they can get hot and get on fire, there
can be an opportunity for them to maybe win that tournament.
Yesterday taking down Missouri on the road ninety one eighty three,
that's one of the picks that I gave out yesterday.
And again, Ronnie, you know, we kind of disagreed on that.
You thought Missouri would be able to get inside of it,

(04:49):
but I knew that Missouri had that methodical offense. They
wasted time doing that in the first half, and that's
kind of what threw them under the bus a little bit.
But then you look at it in the second half,
they picked it up and one of the half. So
you talk about this SEC Georgia yesterday putting a hurting
on Vanderbilt, one of my other dogs wasn't happy about that.

(05:10):
We did give out Saint John's yesterday. I gave them
out you thought Marquette would be able to get inside
of it. It was exactly how we called that game, Ronnie.
We called that game on point till the letter went
to overtime and then Saint John's getting that dog book
at at the end of cash for you. So just
you know, what did you see yesterday and some of
our picks. You know, we were always honest. We tell
you about the games that we do lose, but we

(05:32):
did well across the board. I gave you guys out
high point yesterday. Take a money line. They were able
to beat Radford seventy six seventy three. But Ronnie, b
I'll turn it over to you, and then Daryl, you're
in studio. We're talking some college basketball to get started.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Go ahead, Yeah, we're starting to see the ball go
through the hoop for us too.

Speaker 10 (05:50):
Here.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Now, yesterday went to Kentucky game. I have to tip
my head to him. But the three pointers put them
over the top there. They shot fifty five percent from
the field.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Because they were balling outside.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
Go ahead, yeah, yeah, if they If they do that consistently,
they could be tough in the tournament. But that's the
problem with Kentucky is they're not consistent right now, so
you never know which Kentucky game is gonna show up
and who's gonna put the ball in the hoop. So
but yesterday I have to tip my hand. They beat
a good team on the road and they covered the
spread we called the over. I think it got there.

(06:21):
I'm not sure. I think it was close, but I
think it got there.

Speaker 10 (06:23):
Over.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Yep, we got there, ye right, So we hit that.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
We hit that part of it too. So we covered
that game pretty well yesterday.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Yes we did. Breaking it down again. Darryl Harris Live
and Studio, thank you so much for coming back. It's
been a while. We're gonna talk to the NBA today.
I know your Lakers in LA have had a resurgence
kind of bringing back Luka Doncik. I guess he's working
on some movie deals out there. Maybe he can be
you know, the new I guess Arnold Schwartzenegger or whatever
he's trying to put together, maybe put together a new

(06:50):
space jam. He's got Lebron right there. Maybe he can
be the leader of the Monstars. You know, I love
that song. Shout out to be real. Oh cool Jay
method man, bust around the whole works. But again, your
thoughts on what you saw yesterday in college basketball, some
of the games we picked, some of the games you
may have had. While I continue to pull up these
rotation numbers, Go ahead, yep, no, I was.

Speaker 6 (07:11):
I had no action yesterday on college and that's just
because that's because, hey, I'm I don't want to jump
in where I'm not eyes on. And I was in
Victorville yesterday. It was quite the day. I did have
eyes on that Duke game, that's for sure. Oh yeah,
that costed his money. Yeah, Ronnie, I didn't listen to you.

Speaker 5 (07:29):
I was gonna say that didn't cost me money.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
Yes, go ahead, go ahead, No, no, go ahead, go ahead, Ronnie.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Okay, yeah, No, I like that Duke ball club. And
I said that yesterday, and I said, everybody's going to
be leaning to that North Carolina home court with the
pointed to do that. You know, the only thing that
kept that team close was the quick files on Cooper
flag there. They had to put him on the bench,
and that's when Davis went off on him. He had
some momentum going and throwing it in from everywhere. So

(07:58):
that brought Carolina back. But as soon as Cooper got
back on the floor, everything settled down and the result
was exactly how I thought. If he would have stayed
in the whole game might have been twenty points.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
There you go, Cooper Flag one of the best players
that we've seen recently. Dale Harris back to you, while
if these rotation numbers go ahead, Yeah, no, that's my observation.

Speaker 6 (08:16):
I think that's a team that's built for the tournament,
built for the tournament right now. A lot of these
teams are trying to round in the shape, you know,
keeping eyes on the mountain west.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Of course, San Diego State.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
Picked up a you know, good win yesterday as well,
and gotta keep an eye on our rebels. Man. I
don't know if anything is shaken come tournament play, but
they're one of the most puzzling teams in the conference.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Too, But they weren't able to get it done yesterday.

Speaker 6 (08:44):
And we'll see what happens as this season ends and
what the offseason may bring.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Look, it's the Nile era. We gotta recruit Juco kids
over twenty one. You can't recruit high school kids anymore.
I mean, you can, but you probably won't get any
return on that. And then the transfer portal. You know,
you've got upheaval at the university all the way from
the top to the bottom, from the quarterback to the president.
You've had some departure. So we're not gonna get too

(09:10):
much into your alma mater here, But let's talk about
some of the other games that we had on our list. Yesterday.
We took a look at it. It was an interesting game,
but I just wasn't quite sure what I was gonna
see out of these guys. But let's get into it
because I mentioned it in the pregame. Vanderbilt, what was that?
Oh no, Georgia going back to that SEC Ronnie be

(09:34):
talking to you here. That's gonna be the conference to beat.
I think if you see Duke and the SEC teams,
because we're gonna get into that big upset that I
gave you guys yesterday. My dog of the day, one
of my dogs of the day, But Vanderbilt twenty and eleven,
Georgia twenty and eleven. But if you were a committee
member right now, I would put Georgia in because they're hot,

(09:55):
and I might put Vanderbilt maybe in a play in
I don't want to hate on the They're like, what tyb,
how could you? But the reality is that was a
slow showing. They did well in the first half and
then in the second half it was just all flat.
Go ahead.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
Yeah, yesterday we did talk about Georgia. I did, anyway.
I like Georgia yesterday. I put a little sugar on
him yesterday. I got some pizza money off of them yesterday.
They're playing good ball at the right time, and you know,
Vanderbilt is one of those teams. Again, you don't know
which one's going to show up on that given day.
But right now, Georgia is at their their peak right now,
so I think they'll get into the big dance. Like

(10:33):
you said, the SEC is going to have quite a
bit of coverage, and I think they'll get into the dance.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Right, Go ahead, Daryl Harris, your thoughts on that.

Speaker 6 (10:39):
You know what's funny about the SEC is that it's
the perfect snapshot of this season in terms of teams
in different conferences and the competition being odd oddly distributed.
But that SEC conference is incredibly deep, and you can

(11:00):
make the case that ten, eleven, twelve teams, baby would
be deserving of a conference tournament, bitch. So I would
just say that keep making those observations on those squads
because all of them realistically won't get in.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
And you know that there are several postseason.

Speaker 6 (11:15):
Tournaments now that they are trying to create and make
a big deal out of, besides, of course the Big Bracket,
and one of those is coming to Las Vegas and
the College Basketball Crown. So one of those SEC snub schools, right,
are a clear candidate to win one of these entire
subsidiary brackets.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
There you go, the subsidiary brackets. It's the money line
time this season. It's on the books being brought to
you by our friends over at a foot boat TV.
Let's talk about it a little bit more. Yesterday it
was a full day in a college basketball and against
Satan John's got that win at the end, but we
got to see Saint John's get tested. Going back to

(11:56):
your pick yesterday, Ronnie be one of the ones that
we did well. We split on it. I did like
Saint John's in the points when it was at plus
five and a half plus three and a half, I
wasn't too sure but you thought Marquette could get down
inside of that spread. I thought it was gonna be
a tough game wire to wire. It was overtime. What
a lucky shot. Do you think Saint John's now has

(12:16):
got to take a step back, relax a little bit,
get healthy, and if they do, they can go back
to playing dominant basketball. Because that was one heck of
a win yesterday on the road, Saint John's dog bark
and getting you that plus one ninety five go ahead.

Speaker 5 (12:30):
Well, yeah, I'm sticking with Saint Johns all through the tournament.
As I said, I still think they're a Final four
ball club. They played strong defense. They're strong on the boards,
very strong on the boards. That's what won the game
for him yesterday. And you know Smith was out yesterday,
their guard, so it's their starting guard. So they played
good ball. They came away with a win, and you
got to tip your head to him yesterday.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
There you go, And let me tell you about the
upset yesterday Alabama. I said Auburn needed a win, but
I also said with all those wins, they needed that
law Alabama picked up to win. I told you I
like the plus seven Alabama wasn't getting respect. They were
still a good football team. They can put points on
the board. You got the over one point eighty four
if I'm not mistaken there it was one seventy nine

(13:12):
and a half. Somehow they got there. These are big time,
big scoring schools. Alabama taking down Auburn, the number one
team in the country for their only fifth loss of
the season. So going to you, Darryl Harris. You talked
about the SEC having all this talent, all these teams
with firepower. What if the SEC just came over to
Temobile Arena and tried to play for the million dollars

(13:34):
by themselves.

Speaker 6 (13:35):
Go ahead, you know that's that Conference Tournament is going
to be something special.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Honestly, it's gonna be let and.

Speaker 6 (13:44):
With there's so much familiarity teams that play each other
multiple times. In some cases there will be upsets. It
will be upsets. You're gonna have to go with some
of these dogs. And I don't think that Auburn is
heading shoulders. What's interesting about Auburn is that they've got players.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
With a lot of experience right playing basketball on the roster.
Has that, but you're gonna see that more. Shout out
to my main man, legally. We were talking about this
last night. Auburn's average age of their roster is about
twenty five years old. They've got quite a few kids
above the age of twenty. No, but you're gonna see
this more in the nil era. You see it in
college football. You got guys transformed four, five, six years, six,

(14:22):
seven year seniors. You've got Van Wilders in sports. Now
you've got young kids. Go watch a movie called Van Wilder.
You're in school with a couple of them right now
in your athletic teams. Going over to you, Ronnie b
When you talk about that though, the age and experience
of Auburn, do you still think that's gonna, you know,
affect them this type of loss senior night, Yeah, you know,

(14:43):
girlfriends weren't calling back, getting ghosted on the apps. What
do you see here? Go ahead?

Speaker 5 (14:49):
But it was a up and down ball game, evenly
matched yesterday. But you gotta tip your head to Alabama.
They played strong, they pushed the pace all game, and
they they weren't missing too many shots, so that put
the pressure on Auburn. But it was an equal gamers.
I mean, look how it finished up over time and
only a two point ball game. So you could throw

(15:10):
a blanket over these two teams. And I think what
we're saying here with the SEC Tournament, I'm hoping some
of these teams don't wear themselves out before they prior
to the Big Dance because the competition, as we said,
is going to be very difficult, and there's going to
be a lot of teams that they're going to push
hard to get into the Dance. So I think the
age factor is good for Auburn. I think it's going

(15:32):
to show maturity, and I think they're going to be
all right come Big Dance. I got them in the
final four.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
There you go. Let's talk about a team that a
lot of folks aren't talking about as well. We mentioned Clemson.
Clemson yesterday, great defensive showing, keeping Virginia Tech to only
forty seven points. But let's talk about those Florida Gators.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Chop chop.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Wait, I don't know what. I ain't talking about my Florida,
But I'm telling you what. We coming back and get
the kill ninety to seventy one, beating a solid old
Miss team that was ranked a couple of weeks ago.
Florida at twenty seven and four. We saw the on
the scene explosion of Florida back in the day with
Billy Donovan when he was able to win with guys

(16:14):
like Joaquin Noah and the like. But now you got
Florida coming in again under the radar. But at the
top of the rankings. All the talk is about Cooper Flag,
the big Time Twins, the seven footers over at Michigan.
They're gonna get into that in a second here. But
going over to you, dal Harris, Florida. This is a
team that I haven't heard a lot of people saying

(16:35):
gonna be in their final four. They're liking Saint John's,
they're liking Auburn, they're actually liking Houston to get there,
and they're liking Duke. I'm not seeing a lot of
pick for Florida. But i gotta tell you I'm had
in Florida to my list because if Florida gets in
a dog position, that's guaranteed cast go ahead. Yeah, there's one.

Speaker 6 (16:52):
Player that you need to be familiar with with Florida's
roster that will make you a believer in their team,
and that is Walter Clayton.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
There you go, Yeah, yes, Snat Clayton kid.

Speaker 6 (17:01):
His brother has Stephen Curry at Davidson esque shooting ability buckets.
So when you see that guy on the team and
you know you got a bunch of SEC athletes around him,
you can almost buy into whatever they're selling, right.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
And they got a good forward Condon fifteen rebounds, they
control the boards. Going to you, Ronnie P talking about
this particular game. When you look at Florida again, a
lot of people haven't put them in the Final four.
I think they are a real Final four contender. I
think if you get put in the dog position with
Florida at any point in the SEC tournament or the
Big Dance, you gotta take him. Go ahead.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
Yeah, I agree, this is one that out of my
final four was a bubble team for me with Florida,
it was either Saint John's or Florida. I leaned with
Saint John's just over the coaching aspect of it. But yeah,
yesterday Florida showed why they are going to be a
scary team come dance time because they rebounded yesterday forty
six two on the boards. And here's a stet that

(18:02):
I really like playing ball myself, is they at nineteen
at sixths versus eight for oh so they passed the
ball around, they got the bigs upfront, and they can
put it in the bucket. So yeah, they're gonna be
dangerous and that everybody should keep a eye on them.
And I'm sure I'll put some money on him during
the dance as well.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
There you go. I'm telling you Florida is a very
very strong team. Let's talk about some of the smaller schools,
some of the mid majors, some of the teams that
can also get you upsets. Going back down to North
Carolina with High Point, a team that can win up
in Tobacco Road, not named Duke, Big South. You got
the final coming up again. Yesterday they were able to
beat Radford. And this is a team that again has

(18:40):
a new head coach. He's got his extension, he's winning
in the Big South. He's getting good recruits again Tobacco Road,
North Carolina, that Virginia Corridor, a lot of good talent
and he's winning Old school. These guys play hard nosed basketball,
They get down the floor, very athletic. I think they
can cause some problems for teams in the tournament. And

(19:01):
when you look at it from that perspective, coming out
of that smaller Conference. We're already looking at some schools
punching their ticket to the Big Dance. I'm hoping High
Point can get that done today as well. I also
think they should be maybe a bubble team or a
playing team if something does go awry in that tournament.
But going back to you, Ronnie B. We talked about
some of the smaller schools yesterday. Let's take a look

(19:21):
at Omaha one hundred points in their game yesterday over
South Dakota. They clenched their first appearance in the Big
Dance one hundred to seventy five. So again, you've got
these teams in the nil era that are picking up
these young men from all over the country, all over
the rankings, divisions does not matter, and they're able to
get a little bit of a stipend to play there.

(19:43):
And there's some of these teams that are smaller that
you don't hear a lot about that are still picking
up some of these inner city kids, some of these
rural kids, some of these kids that are hungry didn't
come up in the prep school ball arena, if you will.
And when I saw what Omaha did yesterday, that's also
another team that can be dangerous come out of the
Summit League. Go ahead, Ronnie Bee and then you Daryl Harris.

Speaker 5 (20:04):
Yeah, I agree with you, And it's funny you picked
that game that was one of my client plays yesterday.
One of those sleepers and a lot of handicappers don't
pay attention to. But Omaha's just from a gambling aspect
of it. They're like twenty one and six against the spread,
So they're a team you can watch and make some
money on. And some of these conferences that fly under

(20:25):
the radar, that's where the money is to be found.
And that's what we're talking about on the show. On
a regular basis for everybody, keep an eye on what's
going on because the points come to dance with some
of these small schools could put money in your pocket.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
There you go, cash in your pocket, Dogs Park, and
that's what we're talking about. Daryl Harris. Your thoughts on
that some of these smaller schools you know, are like
high Point. I like what I saw yesterday out of Omaha.
Where do you see it shaking out with some of
these schools that are still called mid majors.

Speaker 6 (20:52):
Go ahead, Yeah, I got to give a shout out
to one of my former teammates alma mater, and that's
American University. They're nineteen and twelve on the season, thirteen
and two home records, So this is a team that
doesn't kind of play with their.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Food too much.

Speaker 6 (21:04):
They're playing Coldgate today at eleven am. They beat them
twice in the regular season. They might have been dogs
in both of those games. They definitely were in the
second game their favorite today. Beating the team three times
in the season is no small feet. But I think
if there is some film that will make you feel
confident in taking American over Coldgate today and what seems

(21:24):
it was basically a pick.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
Them, there you go. Also, let's talk about it yesterday,
a huge under. I picked the over in this game.
I didn't think it was possible. Houston and Kelvin Sampson,
they're putting a lid on the soda cap, shaking the bottle,
still not letting you get out. They held Baylor to
sixty one. They got the under one hundred and twenty six.
Was the total points scored sixty five sixty one. We

(21:47):
kind of picked that score around in that way, Ronnie Bee. Yesterday, Houston,
do you still got them in your top four to
get to the final four, not necessarily doing it with
explosive offense. I would like to see a Houston Alabama
matchup that will be interesting. But go ahead, Well.

Speaker 5 (22:03):
We may get there. But yeah, yeah, Fuesday, as we
fuked yesterday, I'm telling everybody I got Houston in the
final four this year. I had him yesterday with the under.
I told everybody, don't worry about that one thirty one
and played the first half. I hit that. I hit
the game. And Houston's a tough team. They played scrappy
wall from start to finish, and I think they're the
best defense I've seen in a long time.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
There you go, going back to you, Dale Harris, you
went down to Baylor. You got some connections down there. Houston.
Are they a legitimate school to win the national championship
with defensive play? Not necessarily known for their offense. They
can turn it up if they need to. But Kelvin
Sampson says, we're gonna score, make a layup and play
keep away. And it's keeping these games under these guys.
You're getting priced into one thirty five every game. Can

(22:46):
that sustain in the tournament? Go ahead and it will
take this break.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
Yeah, sickond Bears of course always Houston that they for
sure are that they should cover candidly, probably in the
first couple of rounds. I do think that once they
have to face some of the sec elite and say
the Sweet sixteen or a rolling lower seed, I would
just you know, I would be their defense and their

(23:13):
ability to stifle teams.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
I don't expect to go away, but you catch by
on the wrong now, you got to be able to
match that. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (23:19):
So I'm not, you know, blindly, you know, supporting them
too far, but they're showing that they are going to
give any team problems eventually.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
There you go, talking to my ma man Darryl Harris
in the studio, Ronnie b on the phone. Quick shoutouts
fifteen seconds, guys. Then we take this commercial break and
we're gonna come back and get into today's college basketball action.

Speaker 5 (23:44):

Just pe and fucking horses in the morning with it.
So we got another guy from Marriott on the line here.

guest today, Head coach Silverado High School Cyril Franklin Senior
on the line with me right here in Las Vegas.
Good morning, Franklin, Hey man Foots. What's going home?

Speaker 10 (27:35):
Brother?

Speaker 2 (27:35):
We got him on the line.

Speaker 10 (27:36):
Yes, good morning, good morning. Howre you doing this morning?

Speaker 2 (27:40):
I'm doing great now. Coach Foots, that's what everybody calls you. Uh,
You're a head coach over here at Las Vegas High School,
Silverado High School. You won the high school championship a
couple of years ago. You had a great showing this
year in the tournament. So just tell folks again it's
your first time on the show, a little bit about you,
and then we'll get into these college basketball picks and
talk a little bit about where you see college basketball

(28:00):
recruiting going for the high school kids. And that's why
I wanted to bring you on today because of the
comments that Rick Patino made in some of the other
ways that these schools are recruiting now in the inn Il.
But go ahead and introduce yourself and we'll get into
the grease.

Speaker 10 (28:13):
Like you said, my name is well Franklin Senior through
Junior is the player. I'm the coach. I've been nicknamed
Seats for quite some time now, So a lot of
people in the basketball community recognize me in seats played
for a number of years overseas, the Philippines, Australia, different countries.

(28:35):
Played my collegiate ball over at Virginia College up in
the Bay, and I've been talking about thirty years now.
If that ages me and so be it.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
But hey, you this is a table of OGZ. Don't
feel bad, go ahead.

Speaker 10 (28:51):
All good and I'm entering my gonna be entering my
fourth year at Silverado High School here in Vegas. We
just finished up, uh thanks for the semi final round
against my hobby High School. We were underdogs, but we
ended up beating the number one team in the state, Cornado,
on a really tough game, but the boy pulled it out.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
There you go. So let's talk about it today college
basketball again being brought to you by our friends at
a foo Boat TV. We're gonna get into it with
some rotation numbers here. This is an excellent game that
we got lined up for you. A couple of games
might have already started, but we're talking about it today.
Rotation number seven eighty three the Minnesota Golden Gophers. This
is an interesting matchup. They are a big dog plus

(29:38):
six on the road going out to Rutgers. Now Rutgers
at fourteen and sixteen, Minnesota at fifteen and fifteen. Talking
about the bottom half of that Big Ten, the teams
that beat up each other, These are the teams that
tend to get the worst end of the stick. Ronnie B,
you're still on the line here. I'm gonna go around
the round robin. It's gonna be Ronnie B, Daryl Harris,

(29:58):
and then Feats. I'm gonna bring you on this one.
When you look at some of these teams that are
in bigger conferences that aren't doing as well, most likely
won't be dancing five hundred sub five hundred records if
they can get hot in their conference tournament and get
an automatic bid. Do you think Minnesota, a team that
I do like for their defensive prowess, could be possibly
one of those teams that could play spoiler for maybe

(30:20):
a favorite in the Big Ten and maybe mess up
the seating for a favorite who we know will get picked.
But Minnesota today on the line plus six, you think
they got any you know, Greece force over in Rutgers.

Speaker 5 (30:31):
Go ahead, well, Jab, I'm gonna start off here with it.
Then I'm gonna take the Ruptors here lay in the sixth.
You got two freshmen that are outstanding ballplayers for Rutgers
with Harper and Bailey, And I think that's gonna be
the difference in the game today. And you know me
and this home court in a Big Ten, it's to me.
It gives you two to three point advantage, and I'm

(30:53):
gonna the difference is three and I think they're a
better team than Minnesota by three. So that ends up
to the six. Give me Rutgers today with those two
freshmen from Rutgers here.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
He likes Rutgers. Going to you, Daryl Harris thirty seconds.
Do you think that Minnesota again one of the tougher
teams that has played spoiler in the Big Ten all
season for some of the favorites. Their record just doesn't
show it. Plus one eighty seven today minus six for
Scarlet Knights, minus two twenty eight. If you want to
take the favorite, I'm liking Minnesota here. Just to keep

(31:22):
it close. You got the Scarlet Knights at fourteen and sixteen,
Minnesota at fifteen and fifteen, basically the same team. It's
just Minnesota doesn't get as many buckets they're gonna have
to up that defense and hope a few shots from
Rutgers side goes the other way. But as Ronnie b said,
the dynamic freshmen and Harper and Bailey, you know, could
prove to be spoiler. But you know, they got Garcia

(31:43):
for Minnesota, and if they can get a couple of
more scoring options again only two players in double figures
for each team in the starting five, go ahead.

Speaker 6 (31:51):
Yeah, this is one of the times where you gotta
try to quantify some of those intangibles. And I think
that Rutgers this season clearly hasn't went the way that
they were hoping it would have come against of the
year with the prospects, and they'll both still go the
top six to seven picks in the.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
Tap money for these kids, go ahead.

Speaker 6 (32:08):
But with that being the case, they'd have to run
the table in the conference tournament to even sniff the
big bracket. And with that, I think that there might
be some a little bit of a little bit of
checked out, you know, going around the locker room and
across the bench. Whereas Minnesota's been a hungry team, like
you said, they've been hungry, overlooked and scrappy and a
win today, boosts.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Their resume in a way that it wouldn't for Rutgers. Yeah,
and boosting their resume pretty much for the c I
T going over to you, coach Foots. When you talk
about teams like Minnesota, you're a high school coach, you're
always in the market to recruit against ou out to
your son CJ Freshmen of the Year for his conference
over at College of CSN here in Las Vegas from

(32:52):
Juco Pawling. This guy's going to be a number one
portal pick. I mean, we're working for him to make
that happen, putting cash in the pockets, helping him fix it. Dog.
You talk about teams like Minnesota, you talk about teams
like Rutgers, they recruit these guys that they bring in
that are on these lists that really don't end up
getting the job done in a performance way, not really
game changers. And we're talking about it today from a

(33:14):
betting perspective. You've got Minnesota here always trying to recruit.
I remember they used to have Troy Bell. He was
a very good player when he transferred out of Boston
College back in the day. But Rutgers again top freshmen
that come in, but freshmen aren't leading them to wins.
They're fourteen and sixteen today. Do you think that Rutgers
can maybe get to win at home or do you
think Minnesota is looking to say, like you said, you know,

(33:35):
beef up that resume, get strong for the Big Ten tournament,
try to maybe get a couple of wins, get to
eighteen wins and get a post game offer. Go ahead.

Speaker 10 (33:43):
Well, again, you know, it's all about peaking at the
right time. I look at the situation where Rutgers, they
just dropped their last two. So coming out of those
last two losses, it looks a little bit like like
you said, that they're a little bit checked out, whereas
Minnesota they had the They've been knocking off some of

(34:04):
the big guys when it counts, So that tells me
that they're going to be up for the task. Knowing
that they're going into Rutgers tells me that they're going
to have the mindset to go in and knock them off.
One of the big things is with these recruits is
you see a lot of the big name kids go
to these different programs, but there's no culture at the

(34:25):
in the program. A lot of these kids go in
the programs, and they don't have somebody that was there
but for them to kind of coax them along and
lead them along the way. So I'm looking at Minnesota
on this one.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
There you go, I am as well. I like the
Golden Gophers here. Give me the points. I like them
inside of that spread, and I think they're going to
be able to put you where you need to be.
Shout out to my friends over at Capertech. I'm doing
something new, guys now to shut up a couple of
the haters. I'm putting my pits live on Captertech. You
can go see them, or you can just listen to
the show and check the scoreboard. I'm always giving out winners.

(35:00):
My guy's Ronnie b here live in studio with me,
Caryl Harris, and of course Silverado High School coach here
in Las Vegas, coach Surrel Franklin Senior aka Coach Foots.
Let's get back into it, another big matchup, going back
to the Big ten again, Big ten in SEC basketball.
That's where you're gonna see the core of the field
of sixty four rotation number seven seventy nine, the Michigan

(35:21):
Wolverines heading down the eye. What is that the seventy
five over there in the Midwest, Michigan State rotation number
seven eight zero Michigan State, Tom Isoh, you're talking about
a winning coach who's still kicking around with Patino. He's
got these guys looking really good at number eight. It's
a tight price, though, when you look at where Michigan

(35:42):
is twenty two and eight, no slouch for the Wolverines
plus seven plus two seventy five. The bookmakers are trying
to entice me to take Michigan on the road. But
is Michigan State gonna lose on their senior night. I
don't think so. I mean, but they're making it expensive
for me minus three point fifty. I'll go over to you,
Ronnie Bee. More battle in the big ten is the

(36:03):
home court advantage for today at Michigan State. Got to
give me a ten point win here minus seven, I
might as well buy it up double with the Michigan Wolverines.
When you're giving me that type of spread, it's a
battle rivalry similar to what we talked about on Tobacco Road.
Michigan can hang with them number seventeen in the country,
but Michigan State, they seem to do a lot what

(36:23):
Duke does. If they've got a full lineup and those
boys are ready to play, Isaell kind of lets you
hang around in the first half and then lays that
grease on you in the second half. It could be
very expensive to take Michigan State though today at minus
three p fifty total one to forty seven, Ronnie B.
And then we'll go around the board. Go ahead, O
what you.

Speaker 5 (36:42):
Got twenty minutes to tip off? Here, everybody's listening. I
just punched it in myself. I laid the points with
Michigan State. I got the better coach, the best Big
Ten coach of all time winning percentage. I got Michigan
State on a six game winning streak. I got Michigan
on a two game losing streak. Both teams going in
different directions, and I love that. Jase Richardson on Michigan

(37:04):
State and Cohen Carr and Michigan's got a guy that
Stanny Wolf and Golden. They're both seven footers, but you
got Wolf bringing the ball down the court at seven foot.

Speaker 10 (37:13):
They just don't move smoothly on offense.

Speaker 5 (37:15):
I've watched them play a few games. I gotta go
with Michigan State. Everybody tip it off in about fifteen minutes.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
Put your money on tip it off in fifteen minutes. Guys,
gotta be some best players of today. Daryl Harris, give
you some thoughts on this. You talked about it, Rodnie B.
You mentioned it six game winning streak for Michigan State
versus a two game losing street for Michigan. Michigan can't
keep sliding down the razor blade into the alcohol. They've
got to pick up a win today. You look at
the two point totals, seventy nine point one for Michigan,

(37:42):
seventy eight point four for Michigan State. This is going
to be a nail bier win by one lose by
none could see an overtime game. Take that double ticket
out there, better, two rebounds, better than Michigan. But like
Ronnie B said, that offense can get stagnant when you
got that seven foot out there trying to play like
Anthony Mason and shout out Anthony Mason, rest in peace.

(38:02):
My main man legal league used to represent him back
in the day. Again, that's how deep my connection is
running this game.

Speaker 6 (38:07):
But go ahead, Yeah, no, I think that I'm with you,
Ronnie in terms of not running away from the team
that looks like they're they've performed better considerably this season.
They had a thirteen game winning streat Michigan State did
before dropping a pair of games in LA to SC
and u C LA.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
And I don't know what's on that travel, right, Yeah,
I know the young guys got to meet up with
their you know, they got to meet up with their
only fans.

Speaker 6 (38:33):
These are new conference matchups as well, so maybe they
just weren't used to going out to LAX, but believe
me they are since then, since then, they've they've turned
whipped it right back into shape. And if I'm kind
of looking at the total here one forty eight and
a half as a slightly high scoring game, I could
see this on being ugly or tighter in the first

(38:54):
half and the wheels coming off, both teams playing loose
in the second half. That's where I wouldn't even look
at that first number, but I'd be leaning first half under,
second half over.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Okay, first half under, second Wait say that again, Yeah,
you get under.

Speaker 6 (39:09):
In the first half, We're going to see some defense,
we might see some tired legs, we might see you know,
some some cold some cold sweat out there.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
You got me over here. Sounded like a non qualifier.
Coach foots your thoughts on this one. Michigan State at
home twenty five and five is getting crowded in the
top ten is getting real tight and squeezy. Can Michigan
loosen it up a little bit and spoil their scene?
You night, go ahead.

Speaker 10 (39:31):
I don't believe they can. I'm going with Ron on this.
I believe that again the pedigree of Izzo and again
the chemistry and the culture in that program has got
them poised to continue doing what they're doing. And again
shout out local kid Chase Richardson. Richardson going out there.

(39:51):
He's playing on fire. He plays both ends of the court,
and he leaves that offense to charge. I do agree
with the fact that I I think that first half
will be a low scoring first half, but I think
that at least Michigan State will open it up in
the second half.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
There you go, Michigan State open it up in the seven.
Second half, guys, we got about fifteen minutes left, so
we're gonna get to the rapid fire standing in the
big ten today, this is where some of the battles
are being made. And then of course Daryl, I'm gonna
give you some chance here for the NBA talking about
All Ball Sunday here on BSX. Shout out to my
guys over here. Ksahp making it happen. Ronnie Hayes, How

(40:28):
did I just do that? I meant to say, Mark Hayes,
I said, Ronnie Hayes. I told you I'm in a
non qualify. They stole an hour of sleep, But I'm
still giving you good picks. You know, old men are
gonna slip up a few times. Seven eighty one is
the rotation number the Iowa Hawk guys going down to Nebraska.
I like the Iowa Hawk guys today. Nebraska hasn't shown
me very much. And this is a dog that's barking

(40:48):
one of the better teams in the Big Ten. And
when you talk about where Nebraska's at again, a lot
of freshman guys coming in on these nil deals seventeen
and thirteen versus fifteen and fifteen. And when I see
these five hundred teams in the rankings, or not so
much in the ranks, but getting ready to go into
those tournaments with their seeding, it tells me if you're

(41:09):
at the bottom of the Big Ten and you're trying
to get to the tournament or trying to get some
relevancy for one of the secondary tournaments that you gotta
win these type of games. Picking up an extra win today. Nebraska,
if they can get to eighteen wins, maybe we're talking
about a bubble team, but seven and a half is
probably too much. Give me the points to Iowa. Ronnie
Be your thoughts, Well, you got two snoozers here, you

(41:30):
got four.

Speaker 5 (41:33):
Nebraska is on a four game losing streak. I was
on a three game losing streak. With this new structure
in the conference too, with the teams that are eighteen
or whatever, how many big ten hands? Now? I was
told that if IOA doesn't win today, they don't even
get to participate in the conference tournament, so they they
may not even get to play to try and get

(41:54):
into the dance.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (41:55):
I just think Nebraska get Home is gonna win the game.
I don't know if they'll cover. I'm staying away from it,
but i'd lean the breaskt the win, but not cover.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
He said, two turds in a bucket, see which one
goes down first? Quick thirty seconds here, Daryl Harris, your thoughts.

Speaker 6 (42:08):
Yeah, not even Ronnie touched on on the streaks and
some other surface level research.

Speaker 2 (42:14):
I was one and nine on the road.

Speaker 6 (42:16):
Oh no, so I mean, hey, Nebrassic's eleven and six,
thirteen and ten versus the spread.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
So I don't know, go for the team that might
have more to play for right now, Coach Foots, these
are two turns of the buckets. See which one goes
down first, and probably gonna pull it off the list
quick thirty seconds. Your thoughts on this news are in
the big ten. I thought it was gonna be exciting,
but these guys are like, no, no, JB.

Speaker 12 (42:39):
No JP is gonna be exciting, not at all. This
is gonna be one of those games where you're gonna
sit there and you're gonna watch a bunch of missions.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
Both teams.

Speaker 10 (42:52):
You're looking at the brass are rolling in there and
taking care of business in the end of it. Iowa,
they're just to quip for it on the road. Their
road record is for and that's for a reason. There
you go. But again, Nebronca is my choice on that one,
and I'm not gonna take the point, not.

Speaker 2 (43:12):
Gonna take the points. These guys areking Nebraska. I'm taking
it off the list. I rolled that one around. They
were like, JV, you gotta stink over there, spray something.
I'm gonna go to you quick NBA touch when we
get back from this commercial breakderrow, We're gonna talk some NBA,
get some picks, then get our best picks around the board.
Coach Franklin, again, thank you so much for coming on
the show. Stay here on the line with us. I

(43:33):
want to end the show with you because I want
you to talk some more about what your son is doing.
Some of his teammates csn juco right here in Las Vegas.
You kids don't got to go far to get your
name out there and work with me. Coach Footz, the
guys here at KSHP, Mark Hayes, that's the guy who's
trying to give the shout out to We got connections
to help you guys do what you need to do
now in this new market. If you're trying to become

(43:55):
a high school basketball player to take it to the
next level. But talking some quick NBA. Hey give me
a quick preview, Dal Harris, we'll come back from this
commercial break. Go ahead, yes, sir no.

Speaker 6 (44:04):
The Marquie matchup of the day ten o'clock Nuggets, thunder
and more so than anything at betting wise that this
has major MVP implications. I watched it Friday night, Nakoli
Jogics with the historic performers.

Speaker 2 (44:17):
Is no other way to put it. Thirty plus twenty
plus twenty plus overtime.

Speaker 6 (44:21):
Victory shrunk the yacht significantly in on SGA's lead on
the MVP bid. Yeah, so, okay, s rested everybody Friday night.
Everybody's playing the night you got this morning against Denver.
So that's marquee stuff right there. And just one game
I gotta give y'all is take Utah against Philadelphia today.

(44:41):
Philadelphia's wresting everybody and they are aggressively tanking because this
year went out the window faster than you can imagine.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
You hear that coach aggressively tanking. I know Cyril can
give these guys some reverse ali.

Speaker 12 (44:53):
Oops.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
I'm gonna take a quick break. Guys, We're gonna come
back give our best players of the day around the board.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
So glad to be back with you. We're almost got
one more in the books. That got him on the
line with me, Ronnie B. Gerob at the ramp bar
Casino coach Suo Franklin, senior head coach at Silverado High
School right here in Las Vegas. Thank you guys so
much for being on the line with me. So it's
about that time before we get into our best players.
So I got one more college game. I want to
talk about, going back to the Big Ten. Rotation number

(47:04):
seven three zero, the Oregon Ducks, the battle for the
Northwest playing the Washington Huskies on the road, rotation number
seven thirty one, Washington at home. The Huskies have it
really you know again, you know you switched up. You
guys went to different conferences. It's gotten tougher for you
to be successful. And we talk about college basketball quickly

(47:25):
here Oregon, Ronnie Booty, you think they can keep rolling?

Speaker 5 (47:29):
Yeah, Oregon is my pick today in this game. I
think they're moving forward and Washington is thrown in the top.
Take Oregon, lay.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
The point, Coach Franklin, where do you see this one going?

Speaker 5 (47:39):
I agree, take Oregon.

Speaker 10 (47:42):
Washington Is. I don't even know if they stand up, warned.

Speaker 2 (47:48):
Them, We warned you. Going over to you, Darryl Harris,
quick thought on this one. Then we go back to
that NBA make our best picks, and then we're out
of here. Go ahead. Yeah, I'm much.

Speaker 6 (47:57):
You got I'm much two fellas, and I wish I
could offer some the more pointing in on the total.

Speaker 2 (48:02):
But if you want to play with that, have be
my guest there. You go back to the NBA. Some
interesting games that I see. You talk about teams that
are taking talk about draft picks that didn't get you
where you want to be. The Grizzlies at home today,
going up against the Pelicans at home, going up against
the Grizzlies. You like where the Grizzlies are at right now?
They're playing well. I liked it. They picked up Zach Edie.

(48:24):
I can't stand what's going on down with the New
Orleans Pelicans. I mean, I remember what they did to
brandon Ingram. I don't even know what happened to brandon Ingram.
This guy was a laker. He was making moves and
all of a sudden he got traded down there, went
to the milk carton. You got Zion Williamson showing flashes
with those windmills. That ain't excite nobody no more. We
need to see wins and performance on the court. Going
to you, Daryl Harris quick thirty seconds? Are the Pelicans

(48:46):
one of those teams that may have to hire master
p as well? Well? I should have.

Speaker 6 (48:50):
I liked the plus nine and a half. I definitely
do today and Ingram for ones in Toronto now. And
they got Kelly Olennock who's actually filling.

Speaker 2 (48:57):
The big role for them down there, got a tariff
on him, and Zion's actually actually been balling. Trey Murphy
the third is also a candidate for most of the
WHO player I Brother's got game.

Speaker 6 (49:07):
I think that tends too much for Memphis to cover
without Jaron Jackson Jr.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
Yep. Going over to you, coach Franklin, how do you
see it patching up here with the New Orleans Pelicans?
Do you like the Memphis Grizzlies on the road buying
back to maybe A five, because like I said, I
think I think the Pelicans stink. I mean, you know,
Darryl knows these things, but I just think they stink.
Go ahead.

Speaker 10 (49:26):
Well, watching the last couple of games with Memphis, they
actually stood up. I didn't think that they were going
to play as well as they did the last time
they played the Pelicans, but they were able to piece
it together and get good runs. They made some defensive
stands in the last game that let me know that
they were really trying to look towards the playoffs. So

(49:48):
I would go with the Memphis Grisley he's.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
Liking the Grizzlies on the road. They should be in
a dull position here. Last NBA game, the two of
the better teams in the NBA rotation number five to
twenty five Cleveland Cavaliers on the road minus nine Milwaukee Bucks.
Daryl Harris there at home, you know what's going on
with Giannis? What's going on with uh? Uh? What was
the guy? Because he's already on a milk game, Dame,

(50:12):
He's already on milk carton.

Speaker 4 (50:13):
What happened?

Speaker 6 (50:14):
Well, well, you know, hey, Dame's getting up there. But
but in this game, I think nine again is pretty
disrespectful to Milwaukee on the road. But Kudlin's that Coton,
that Colton, which is why the spread.

Speaker 2 (50:26):
Is worris at take Cleveland in the first quarter.

Speaker 6 (50:28):
Man, they're one of the best first quarter scoring They
are them in Memphis, ironically enough, are the best first
quarter scoring teams in the NBA.

Speaker 2 (50:35):
There you go, Darryl Harris, giving us that NBA grease
around the horn. Ronnie be best player of the day,
my friend, go ahead, and then we'll get out of here.

Speaker 5 (50:44):
I'm going to Michigan State. It's gonna be a lot
like North Carolina. Don't worry about those points. The better
team is gonna cover Michigan State.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
There you go, Coach Franklin over at Silverado High School,
Thank you so much for coming on this morning. Best
player of the day, Go ahead, The best player of
the day.

Speaker 10 (50:58):
Is gonna be Michigan, Michigan.

Speaker 4 (51:01):
He likes it.

Speaker 10 (51:01):
That's a solid win right there.

Speaker 2 (51:03):
There you go, Daryl Harris live in studio, Thank you
so much for stopping by today. Quick fifteen seconds. Best
player today, my friend. Yep.

Speaker 6 (51:10):
With all the with a lot of tension on the
college game, I think that there are some NBA dogs
sitting there to be had that'd be in Sacramento Kings
in the nightcap tonight. That also being the Utah Jazz
that I threw out and a favorite that I believe
will cover his phoenix over Dallas today.

Speaker 2 (51:23):
There you go. And then in college basketball, my best
play still sticking with my guys at High Point University
should have been in the dog position. But you guys
better win that big South today. Jab the ticket Vegas
go Aboard Express. Thank you guys so much for listening.
We'll be back next week. So guys, you know what
time it is. We all say it together when we
get ready to get out of here. We got to
get to the book. Enjoy your Sunday, stay safe and
let's do what Roddy be at. Everybody get the money.

Speaker 4 (51:48):
You're less off of the Big Four. Check that bank
Vegas score for give it to that gree
