Speaker 5 (05:46):
I'm telling you, man, that is the premier women's basketball

They're essentially saving the league.
Speaker 5 (05:53):
They have the best player in Asia, Wilson's best woman's
player in the world. I mean she was cooking lastlast night.
Sadly it had to be against your Phoenix Mercury. I
do understand, Dan, That's why we've got you here today.
But most importantly we are glad to have you back.
But you know, we're talking football today. There's been some
movement in college football as far as the top twenty
(06:15):
five goes. Let's talk a little bit about it now.
We talked about him last week. I waited what till
Week five to make my opinion known because I knew
that the entire sports media and the guys on the
internet would jump all over this. But the arts Manning
situation in Texas out of the rankings, as I predicted.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
All the Texas fans.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
Are a little bit angry at me for that, But
I told you for my evaluation, not only of the
high school talent he played against. I mean he danger
played in the conference with nine man football. You know,
that's how they do it down in Texas.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
We ain't got enough kids, but we got enough patch
I'll put it out and see what we can do.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
Texas out of the top twenty five. So when you
go back to that Big twelve, when I look through
the top twenty five, I see a couple of teams
that normally wouldn't be in the Big twelve. As you know,
we've had that conference realignment. But the Texas Longhorns are
they going to stay out of the top twenty five?
We saw Florida State drop down two twenty five. Still
(07:15):
don't see any UNLV. You guys got to do something
about that. UNLV's great season. Shout out to Dan Mullen
for keeping the ship right, keeping it above.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
The water here.
Speaker 5 (07:26):
But going back to Texas, Dan Cameron, your thoughts, is
it now a situation where they may have to try
to claw back quinn ewers from the pros to get
some help or go to the bench because they've got
a dynamic player there, go ahead, Yeah, yeah, So Illi and.
Speaker 11 (07:41):
We talked about this after the first week seeing him.
We you know, we talked about his mechanics, how Archie
Manning's mechanics look horrible. To say that, it would be
hard for me to see them not end in the
top twenty five. I'm sure the schedule's getting easier. They
do have a good rusher, hopefully he'll get a little better,
(08:03):
But I mean, twenty to twenty five. Does that even
matter for Texas?
Speaker 1 (08:07):
No, it doesn't know.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
I know, it's it's a sad situation for Texas fans.
You talk about the Texas defense as well. You know,
it shouldn't get easier for them, but they're in the
SEC and that's going to be a tough situation for
them going forward, because, as you mentioned, you know, his
mechanics aren't there. I made the joke that it looks
like he's out there playing against Bevo and I get good. Look,
(08:31):
I don't say that lightly because I look at this
and I just think that this is a young man
who had too much pressure put on him too early,
and now we're seeing, you know, the fruits of that.
He's got to be able to calm down, get back
to basics, and try to rewrite this football team because
where Texas is at right now not too good out
(08:55):
of the top twenty five. And when you look at
where the SEC is, there's a lot of questionable teams
in the SEC. You know, you got Auburn looking a
little shaky every now and then again, Alabama has a
loss or two, So you really look to the SEC
teams like Old Miss doing very well. LSU has been
(09:17):
stepping up to the plate and it's been proving tough
for Texas today. Let's take a look at it. We
got Texas on the line today. Oklahoma red River rivalry.
Let's see if you guys can say that three times
without choking. But this is a game that a lot
of people normally have circled. But I think that this
year it's going to be confusing for a lot of people.
(09:38):
While I pull up that rotation number, your thoughts on that,
because we've got an Oklahoma team here that is playing
good football, ranked number six in the country five and
oh total is forty four and a half. When I
pull up that rotation number, Dan, go ahead.
Speaker 11 (09:52):
Yeah, Red River rivalry, it's always that's always tough. In fact,
that's my dad, reverree in all of sports. But that's
it's a great rivalry. I think it'll it'll be closer
than people think. But yeah, I mean with his mechanics
and in the way Oklahoma is, I think Oklahoma's gonna
(10:14):
pull that one out.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
There, you go, rotation will be very close.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Well, we'll think about it.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
Game three point Game two and a half is of
the plus side for Oklahoma in the road dok position
rotation number two oh one Oklahoma money line plus one
oh five. I think Oklahoma wins this game outright. Texas
rotation number two oh two. That offense is atrocious minus
one twenty five two and a half on the spread.
The sports book is trying to make it an attractive bet,
(10:43):
trying to give you seventy five bucks on one hundred,
but that total forty four and a half. We look
at the offense of Texas. Do you think that that
offense from Texas can compete with a strong Oklahoma defense.
We're looking at the number six team in the country.
Oklahlahoma has been playing completely under the radar in the
(11:03):
SEC five and oh, Texas A and M right above
them at five and oh, this is going to be
the major test for Texas today. They are favored at home,
but you know, I definitely think they should be a
seven point dog.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
But your thoughts on this go ahead.
Speaker 11 (11:20):
Oh yeah, if you watch the rifle be like I
do every year, this might be forty four to forty seven.
Speaker 10 (11:28):
Yeah, that's going over.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
That's definitely going over.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Well you think it's gonna go over. But when you
look at it.
Speaker 11 (11:34):
Even if they're good defenses, they're not going to play
much defense today. That's just how the surrival rewards.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
Right.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
I look at it and I see the stats.
Speaker 5 (11:42):
Okay, you get total offense for both teams four fifteen
to four nineteen, Texas being at four nineteen, Oklahoma at
four fifteen Texas has the edge on rushing, Oklahoma has
the edge on passing. But these two teams on paper
are evenly matched. But I am saying that with Arch Manning,
this being the big rivalry game. We saw what he
(12:04):
put up against Ohio State. We've seen what he did
against a Florida team that's gasping for air, trying to
get back into the swamp. And now you're going up
against an Oklahoma team that they have a dynamic dual
threat quarterback in Matier. They've also got a kid named
Hawkins who may be able to come in on a
(12:24):
couple of plays here. He's got fifteen to twenty seven
one hundred and sixty seven yards. He's kind of like
a little tweaker there, but he's got three touchdown passes,
no interceptions Matier. You know, two out of three ain't bad,
but six touchdowns, three interceptions. Manning looks good on paper.
We'll give him credit for this. You know, eleven touchdowns
to five interceptions not too bad. But when you look
(12:46):
at the amount of players that are going to be
targeting him on the defensive side with Oklahoma, do you
think that we're going to see some more picks coming
out of arch Manning today.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Go ahead.
Speaker 11 (13:02):
I don't know. I don't think so, no, not really,
all right, I think I don't think it's gonna be
more than that, more than normal.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Well, I'm telling you right now, I'm going.
Speaker 11 (13:11):
I think this is gonna be offense, offense, offense. So
I don't know if there's gonna be a lot of
picks in this game.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
I think it's gonna I don't know what it is about.
Speaker 11 (13:20):
This rivalry, but a lot of times they have great
defenses and.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
They just forget how to play defense when they play
each other.
Speaker 5 (13:28):
Texas is going to be the one that forgets how
to play defense today, Man, I'm telling you got a
five and oh team, road Dog. The dog is barking
here go with Oklahoma win by one, lose by none,
by far the better team here. And even though it's
in Dallas, Texas, we're gonna have to see a coming
out party today for arch Manning.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
To be successful in this particular game.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
However, if we see what Oklahoma has been able to
do over the past four or five six weeks, they're
five and oh coming into this week. Let's look at
some of the point totals that they've been able to
put up on people in this season and again thirty
five to three. Starting off at Illinois State, they beat
up Michigan team, which is trying to kick back in
top twenty five. At fifteen twenty four two thirteen, they
(14:10):
beat up on Temple Auburn gave them some trouble.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
Another powder pluff.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
Forty four zero last week at Kent State, a nice
tune up before Texas and Texas again coming off of
you know, a shaky start to their season.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
I just think that Oklahoma is the best team in
this position.
Speaker 5 (14:27):
Any quick shout out before we go to break, Dan Cameron,
got to get your coffee going, Make sure you got
your mute button ready to go.

Speaker 5 (14:48):
And I said last time last week, yep, we did
win last week, thank god we did. But then I
lost it all all this past Thursday with cam Stanna
maryl I was like, oh the Eagles, that's an easy
not even close. Shout out to the New York Giants.
That was the dog that was barking. But when we

Speaker 10 (18:11):
Hey, good morning, Good morning everybody. I hope we have
a great Saturday today.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
That's what we're trying to do, trying to put cash
in your pocket. We just talked about the Texas Oklahoma game,
the Red River rivalry down in Dallas, Texas today.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
At the Big Dome.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
Star rotation number two O one Oklahoma plus two and
a half on the road, A five and zero team
in the dog position. You can't get any better. In
my opinion, SEC matchup. Texas has been looking a little
bit shaky. You've got arch manning under center. Stats look
better than some of the performances we've seen on the field,
some of the outcomes. But Texas does have a winning
(18:48):
record right now at three and two, But you look
at who they played last week and you saw Texas
lose to Florida. Oklahoma's coming off of a huge rock
over when over kin State forty four to nothing, do
you think this is the time to bet Oklahoma here
and go to sleep on the dog?
Speaker 3 (19:05):
Ronnie Bee go.
Speaker 10 (19:05):
Ahead, listening on the way here today, And it's a
funny line here. It open up at two and a
half Texas not ranked against number six Oklahoma. That line's
kind of scary to me. So I'm not looking at
the side, but I gotta disagree with the offense that
you guys are gonna think that's gonna produce out here.
I think it's gonna be a running slug fest with
(19:27):
defense Oklahoma number one defense in the country.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
I'd lean to the under.
Speaker 10 (19:32):
I'm gonna stade the public because the line has moved
from forty two to forty four and a half. I'm
gonna I'm gonna go to the under here. I think
it'll be a slug fest, and I think it's gonna
be a running game. I think Oklahoma my tears back,
but his hands hurt, So let's let's lean to the under.
Speaker 5 (19:47):
I like that play the undertake the dog. It should
happen for you again. If Oklahoma comes out and blows
out Texas today, we're gonna be seeing a lot of
questioning of whether or not they want to keep arch
Manning under center. Let's move to an afternoon game twelve
thirty three thirty Eastern time. Our hometown UNLV Rebels are
back at Allegiance Stadium to take on the Flying Falcons
(20:13):
over at air Force Rotation number two oh three.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
Air Force plus.
Speaker 5 (20:16):
Seven solid Mountain West team, one of the few service
academies along with Army that's still playing well.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
I think Navy's having a good season too.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
You got a lot of guys that are shockingly and
I didn't think that this would happen, but you know,
it's great for the nation.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Again, Shout out the United States.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
Our Armed Forces guys are transferring to the service academies.
We're seeing a plethora of talent get on the field.
And we've got air Force today plus seven to dog
position UNLV at home minus seven. It's a bigger spread
than what we're used to seeing with UNLV two and
a half three solid spread here, but it stayed more
(20:52):
or less at seven for the entire time, and when
you look at it, minus two fifty five. Kind of
expensive on the money line here, but they've got a
big total of sixty five.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Let's take a look at that.
Speaker 5 (21:03):
When they're going over to you, Dan Cameron, do you
think that Air Force today is going to be able
to put up a lot of points to get over
that total. The total seems a little high to me.
And if UNLV has to get into a slug fest
with air Force today from a scoring point, I don't
think that's going to be something that you really want
to see. I mean, air Force shout out in Elis
Air Force Base. These guys are out here doing what
(21:25):
they do, so they're going to have a big contingency
today and UNLV is going to have a big contingency today.
How do you see this one shaping up? Looking at
it from a totals perspective and then maybe even that spread.
Go ahead, Dan Cameron, and then over to you Ronnie.
Speaker 11 (21:38):
Yeah, I'm listening, JB. I think the total is a
little high on that. And you know, this is not
a great year for Air Force.
Speaker 10 (21:46):
I love air Force, like.
Speaker 11 (21:48):
You said, shout out to our armed forces, but you
know I like UNLV to cover this.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
But I am with you.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
I do like the under in this game.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
It's I think that.
Speaker 11 (22:00):
Over has gotten a little out of control there.
Speaker 5 (22:02):
Yeah, the over has gotten out of control, and I
think Dan Mullen wants to see the defense step up today,
especially at home. You've got UNLV trying to get into
the top twenty five. They're also five and zero. Again,
shout out those Running Rebels playing some football. Shout out
our station director too, Mark Hayes. He is a former
dB for the Running Rebels back in the nineties, so
again he will attest to this. It's a solid football team.
(22:23):
They're clicking on all cylinders. They don't have any issues
off the field this season, no nil issues, and again
Mullen seems to have these guys playing and willing to
keep playing. I saw them get down earlier in the
year where they had to come back and win the game.
But the reality here is UNLV is a very good
football team. I think we're going to see an exciting game.
(22:44):
If UNLV gets to around thirty points, the over may
be a possibility of UNLV tries to run it up today,
but I do think that they can get the win. Now,
going over to you, Ronnie b Let's talk about that spread.
Minus seven. It hasn't moved that much much from the
betting perspective. Is this a game that the betters forgot
about or they just don't like the number?
Speaker 3 (23:05):
Go ahead?
Speaker 10 (23:07):
Well, I'll tell you looking at this game, the total
is what I like.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
JB.
Speaker 10 (23:12):
Here, air Force is five and oh to the over
this year. You look at their last three games of
seventy nine points, eighty six points, seventy nine points in
their couple, they've only got one win because buck Hills
that was a sixty two point game. I see UNLB
being able to do what they want with this ball
on the ground. But I also think air Force is
(23:33):
the offensive ranked like twenty first in the country. I
think it's going to be more like a basketball scorer
than a football score. Give me the over here, I'm
playing the over. I'm gonna stick with air Force going
six and oh to the overs this year.
Speaker 3 (23:43):
Right, he's liking air Force in the over. That's what
we're talking about.
Speaker 5 (23:46):
Air Force one and four, though, one and four any
shot at maybe getting inside of that spread?
Speaker 3 (23:52):
Could you talk about going over? That means we're going
to have a back.
Speaker 5 (23:55):
And forth score fest in your opinion, and I just
don't think we're gonna get that deep in to the
game here with air Force at one and four, I
think UNLV's defense is going to be able to stop
that triple option. Air Force does use the pass a
little bit more as they should. I mean they are
air Force by the way.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
The air use it.
Speaker 5 (24:11):
But when you talk about this total, do you think
it's going to be a lopsided win for UNLV minus seven?
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Do you like it?
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Go ahead, Ronnie both.
Speaker 10 (24:20):
I think UNLV is the better team between the two
obviously here. But the points again is the UNLV's passing
defense ranked one hundred and twenty ninth. They give up
almost two hundred and sixty five yards in the air game,
so that's not telling me that they're too strong on defense.
Total yards there'll ranked one hundred and fifteenth, so I
think air Force can move the ball. I just think
(24:42):
that it's going to be a double digit win for UNLV.
But I really like this over on this game.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
He likes the double digit win for UNLV. That's implying
he likes the minus seven. Let's move into another game
that I had here on my schedule, just trying to
pull it up. Yes, Nebraska versus Maryland. Now you got
Maryland at home four and one, Nebraska four and one.
You've got the little brother kind of styling himself over
in Nebraska, like Patrick Mahomes might not want to be
(25:10):
doing that too much this year though. We'll talk about
it tomorrow on the NFL Show. But I like Maryland today,
you know, I like the home dog. Plus six and
a half a touchdown is a good number here. Maryland
was able to play well on the road a couple
of weeks ago when I told you to take to
beat Wisconsin. But Nebraska is one of those teams, Like
I said, they run the football, they pound the football.
But Maryland has a dynamic quarterback who can play at
(25:33):
the dual threat position, and they've got some decent athletes
at the skill positions on offense. Maryland's defense, however, can
be a little bit shaky. I didn't like what I
saw in the particular loss that they had, But they're
at home today in the dog position.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Gotta like Maryland here. Going over to you, Dan Cameron,
what do you think, Oh man, this is gonna be
a fun game. Yes, yes, yes, you understand it.
Speaker 10 (25:56):
Yeah, yeah, this is I just looked.
Speaker 11 (25:59):
I think it's forty four one and a half is
the over?
Speaker 10 (26:01):
Is that right?
Speaker 3 (26:01):
Forty and forty seven and a half? The total was
gone up? Yeah, go ahead, Yeah, I.
Speaker 11 (26:05):
Know it was right there.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Sorry, I just barely looked at it, you know.
Speaker 11 (26:10):
But I think this is gonna be a little bit
of an over game.
Speaker 10 (26:14):
Like you said, you know Maryland's defense.
Speaker 11 (26:16):
You know it's gonna give up some points. I think
it's gonna be a back and forth game. I like
these offenses. I think this is gonna be a fun.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Game, you know.
Speaker 11 (26:23):
And it's good to see Nebraska good.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
You know.
Speaker 11 (26:26):
I think that's good for football to see Nebraska good.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
I have to agree with that.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
You know.
Speaker 5 (26:30):
You got Matt Rule over there, trying to make things happen,
bringing back in his legacy. We saw that he did
well in college before rotation number one eighty seven. Will
it be a murder you got in Nebraska minus seven?
These odds are being brought to you by our friends
over at bet us. Go to BetUS dot com, use
offer code vs X one twenty five, and we're gonna
double up that initial deposit for you today so you'll
(26:52):
have some extra money to make some of these plays.
You got Maryland rotation number one eighty eight plus seven
minus one fifteen. That's what they're plus two oh three
on the money line. Again, that ill pricing. Okay, plus
seven should give me at least plus two to fifty,
but plus two oh three they're clawing back money. They're
(27:12):
changing the way stats are posted for prop bets. But
we talk about the sportsbook today, that total of forty seven,
forty seven and a half, Ronnie, you seem to like
numbers today. How do you see this one playing out?
Do you think Nebraska and Maryland can give us thirty
points a piece and get this thing over?
Speaker 3 (27:27):
Go ahead?
Speaker 10 (27:29):
Yeah, I think you can get the thirty points a
piece here. But I'm unfortunately not going to lean to
the total on this game. I'm leaning towards Nebraska. I'm
not going to play it out there for everybody to
understand that, but I'm looking at some of the numbers here,
and Nebraska's number one in passing defense. So Maryland's going
to have to run the ball here today, and if
they can't run it, they're ranked one hundred and thirtieth
(27:49):
in rushing yards on offense. I think Nebraska covers the
six and a half or seven whatever number you get
up there, but I wouldn't mind at seven. It's not
a problem. I think Nebraska's going to cover this number.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
He thinks Nebraska is going to win it.
Speaker 5 (28:02):
You talk about that total of forty seven here in
order for them to get there, we may be looking
at it over here. Do you think that over is
going to be in play even if it's going to
be a lopsided over. I think this one is, from
a total perspective, is priced just right. You got Maryland
giving up points, you got Nebraska working it through the air.
But Maryland does have the strong running game with the
(28:22):
dual threat quarterbacks and those skill position players at running
back getting extra yards. Going back to you, Dan Cameron,
you'd like this total? You want to maybe buy it
back to maybe a forty five, get you a one
point over here, just to try to get something going.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Or do you like the total where it's at? Do
you think we can get to fifty today? Go ahead?
Speaker 11 (28:38):
No, we can definitely get to fifty. And I have
to disagree a little bit. I think this is going
to be a really back and forth.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Game, and I do like this to be like a
three or fourth point game.
Speaker 11 (28:47):
So I do like to I would take them on
the plus the points.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
The dog is barking on that one.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
There you go, liking the dog. Here the dog is barking.
Speaker 11 (28:58):
Maryland, Maryland.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Put Maryland on that ticket. Rotation number one eighty eight.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
Let's take a look at another game here that's been
very interesting over the past couple of weeks, because, as
I mentioned to you before, this is a game that
I know Ronnie B has got circled.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
Rotation number one ninety seven.
Speaker 5 (29:14):
The Indiana Hoosiers going all the way out to the
West coast to take on the ducks of Oregon. Rotation
number one ninety eight. Now Oregon here looking soft at
minus seven. Okay, you would think Oregon would be priced
at maybe a minus ten. It's been holding steady around
that six and a half seven at many books. Minus
two seventy a little bit too expensive to take organ
(29:36):
at home on the money line. But you got an
Indiana team here. Coach Signetti's got these boys playing hard.
Five and oh versus five and oh, somebody's got to
take the loss today. A lot of road dogs are
looking pretty good. Could get tricky, Ronnie B. I'll go
to you, how do you think your alma mater is
going to look today in Indiana.
Speaker 10 (29:52):
Go ahead, well, we're gonna test the water today. You're
traveling from east to west here, which has been a
problem for most of the Big ten schools when they
do that. But I think they're gonna have a nice
game today with Oregon. The defense is what's gonna be here, Guys.
I really like this under here in this game. I think,
what's it running about? Fifty four fifty five? Uh, you
(30:14):
got two t top defenses. You know, you ranked fifth
and the Oregon ranked seven. So I think it's going
to be a slow paced game, punching to see who
has what. You know, you got this portal quarterback Mendoza.
They're talking him up for the Heisman all of a sudden,
So we'll see what happens. But I really never play
my alma manter just for superstition reasons. But I think
(30:37):
it'll be an entertaining game. But lean to the under
out there, if you're listening to us, I kind of
like the under with both defenses.
Speaker 5 (30:42):
He likes the under and both defenses. And Ronnie, I
know you mentioned it. We got the phone lines open
here this morning. I will pick up the call if
I see it and you call us, seven oh two
two two one seven two three is the call in number.
If you got any questions about a specific game and
you want to get on the air, we'll critique it
for you.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
But don't bring any of that jack because I'll clown
your live.
Speaker 5 (31:02):
But let's get into more college football. When we come
back from this quick commercial break. We're going to try
to get Daryl Harris on the line talk a little
bit of WNBA because we got the champions here in town,
so we would be remiss here at VSX and KSHP
if we didn't give them some grease. So I'll see
if I can find Daryl Harris. You guys keep kicking around.
Ronnie b Any quick shoutouts, any quick thoughts of your
(31:24):
folks over at the ramp Park.
Speaker 10 (31:25):
Go ahead, Well, let's I watched a really good, entertaining
baseball game last night. Let's not forget the playoffs through
in full blown action, and I hit my head to
Seattle pulling that game out last night and the bottom
of the fifteenth. It was a great game.
Speaker 5 (31:39):
There you go, a great game. I want to give
a shout out to my main man, spank E thank
you so much. Went to VGK opening night and they
took that l into power play.
Speaker 10 (31:49):
Man.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
You know, it was sad.
Speaker 5 (31:50):
It was quiet too, man. They kept having to yell
and ask people to get loud. Next time I go
to the game, I'll make sure you get loud, and
I'll be sure to sit at the back too, you know,
because he's.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Like, hey, you're kind of tall. I can't see. I'm like, look,
come on, you know six four, what do you want?
Speaker 5 (32:06):
But like I said before, when we come back, more
college football from WNBA, and of course that grease because
we got to get the money.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
You're listening to.
Speaker 2 (32:16):

Speaker 5 (34:22):

So again, thank you so much for having you back on.
Got my main man, Dan Cameron out in Sedona, Arizona.
Ronnie b is on the line with us, but one
time for the Las Vegas Aces.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
Got that championship back. Get it out in Phoenix. Sorry
making it happen. Give your synopsis on that.
Speaker 5 (35:04):
I'm just going to get off the mic and let
you talk because you guys are listening to a number
one guy right here.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Go ahead, yeah, no, go.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
Check out the article. We have a recap up right
now on the homepage. And this is a dynasty, the
Desert Dynasty. It's remarkable and a lot of resolves across
this team, and a championship team, as we're all a
where it takes everybody, It takes the coaching, it takes
the players. The fans are equally a part of the ride.
(35:30):
But that team topped the bottom, put it together. So
I by the times had a baby. Jule Lloyd moved
to the bench, Chelsea Gray. They were saying that she
was washed mid seas as had the text and went
to you know, yeah, Beck, you haven't had to sit
there and you know, take those questions day after day
after day after day, and they knew what they were about.
(35:52):
We all knew what they were about. But big picture now,
Asa Wilson, Man, Asa Wilson, I just have to say,
I think there's not an argument whether or not you're
the greatest player in WNBA yestory.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
You think she'll be the first seven figure player in
the w NBA.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
Go ahead, that's deserving, that's deserving.
Speaker 7 (36:11):
It.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
There you go. Whatever's going on in terms of they're
going to go to lengths to get what they feel
they're entitled to and if you are taking your negotiation
series what you have to do, that's right. I commend
them in their fight and I'm rooting for them. I
think that right now the numbers are showing it that
(36:32):
they've brought in record attendance, revenue, viewership track. You got
to strike while it's hot, and you know what, you're
worse there you go go down swing and I support
them right.
Speaker 5 (36:40):
You know, the Vegas Aces best team in the w NBA.
Last night, Daryl, we talked about something. I wasn't going
to drop that grease this morning, but I think I'm
going to flesh that out because we have a solution
that can help fix this again. You work with me
on de Hoop University, shout out to your podcast on
Apple podcast, Spotify, you name it. And I gave a
full assessment of the WNBA last what was a Christmas Eve,
(37:02):
and then earlier on this spring I read them their
rights because you know they're still running bad business behind
the scenes, and I explained how they lost a lot
of money. Got to get my other guys back in here,
Dan Cameron, got to keep you on the line here.
Want to bring your thoughts in because your Phoenix Mercury
got defeated by the Aces. But again another solid season
(37:23):
out of the Mercury. Do you think that this is
going to be a team that is going to continue
success going forward as the WNBA tries to grow in
its fan base and its income, go ahead, yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
Yeah, the Mercury are for real, man.
Speaker 11 (37:37):
They've always they've always been one of the better teams
in the WNBA.
Speaker 1 (37:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
Now going over to you, Ronnie b.
Speaker 5 (37:44):
You take a look at what the Aces have been
able to do as opposed to what the Raiders have
been able to do, and there's a synergy there with
the single ownership of Mark Davis. When you look at
it and you say to yourself, Okay, if you got
Mark Davis in there, and you've got a championship w
NBA team and the football team is reeling, and this
(38:04):
is a little bit of preview of what me and
you talked about last night. And I'm throwing at to
Ronnie be because he's connected. Do you think maybe we
should see the Raiders possibly get divested from Davis, just
not completely, maybe leave him as a minority owner. But
you got a movie coming out, shout out, the Mad
Movie that's gonna be hot. You got Tom Brady sitting
right there in the front office looking like the new
(38:26):
incarnation of Al Davis. When he walks out with the
Black Raiders jacket on, he's chilling. He's here in Vegas.
Make the move, get him out of the booth. Because
the team is looking a little rough.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
Now.
Speaker 5 (38:36):
I know we're talking a little NFL, but it is
relevant for the Aces. Do you think that a guy
like Mark Davis, who I think would be a great
asset in a front office position, doing something with the
WNBA because he's the winning his championship coach. Now football
not so much, but the WNBA that seems to be
his thing.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
Go ahead.
Speaker 10 (38:56):
I don't know if we're talking the Raiders, are we're
talking the ACE, But I think it all goes back
to the talent. If you got the talent and it
lands in your lap, this is what happens. You know,
when you got the best female player on the court,
you're gonna win some games and some titles. And that's
what happened here. Now the Raiders, on the other hand,
right now, if you don't have the talent, you don't
(39:17):
have the leadership. So it's gonna take the time to
turn it.
Speaker 5 (39:20):
Well, right, Darryl, we might as well jump into it
and talk about it a little bit. We got about
five minutes left to get into some college football, our
final picks of the day, but just give me a
minute to a spouse on that we talked about this
last night. I know, and you know the Raiders would
be better served with Tom Brady at the Helm, and
from that perspective, bringing that Patriot Way to inject a
(39:41):
little bit of energy into the Raider Way. I think
it would be great, not only for the city because
we got a stadium over there that needs to be
filled up. We need the economy coming back. Okay, we've
invested and married the sports economy. Can't leave her on
the side of the road.
Speaker 3 (39:55):
I mean it's too early. Five years in gave you fifteen.
Speaker 5 (39:59):
So when you look at it from that perspective, you
got to say, look, you're winning on one side. You've
got a championship formula in the potion bottle on the
other side, but you're not using it. Darrell, your thoughts
go ahead.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
Yeah, I think it works twofold and all of this
is to continue some forward momentum and forward progress. I
think that's positivity throughout. Mark Davis, I'm sure you've hit
the pinnacle and now there's clubs and organizations have followed
suit and what the Aces have done. There's there's five
teams that are building new state of the art facilities
for their players. We had that two years ago. And
(40:31):
that was because Mark Davis understood what a top notch
organization at least looks like, and he built the ass
which were already you know, formidable, into a top down organization.
That that's bar nine. And of course the Raiders, man,
we have to see it. I haven't tried to mix
words with that because that's what the fans feel, that's
(40:52):
what the city feels. We want to see this team
in the postseason. That's we want to see a successful team.
We don't just want the team here, we want them here.
We want athlete, you know, in contention, and Tom Brady
is a part of the of the club. So I
hear you on that, and if you's ready to bite
on more, I'm on board with what you're talking about.
(41:15):
There you go.
Speaker 5 (41:16):
I mean, you know, I look at Tom Brady like
that one hundred dollars bill in your wallet and you're
still trying to complain about the extra five dollars on
your restaurant bill.
Speaker 3 (41:24):
Let's go into it.
Speaker 5 (41:25):
Final picks of the day again, Thank you guys so
much for waking up with me. Dan Cameron, Sedona, Arizona,
Ronnie b here in Las Vegas at the Rampart Casino.
I'm your host and bosson the big board. JB the
ticket and of course my may man, Darryl Harris from
KLAS CBS eight here in Las Vegas. A couple of
other games here on the line that were interesting. You
got Texas A and M going up against Florida. That's
(41:46):
an afternoon game. How do you see that one kicking
out here? Do you think Florida has got a little
bit more grease? I'll throw this one at you, Ronnie
b Or. Is Texas A and M for real? When
I took a look at Texas A and M, they're
in the SEC, but I didn't see them playing too
many people. Okay, when you start off these seasons five
and oh, Florida is clawing to try to get back
to plus five hundred. I think this is a good
spot for them, but I don't like them on the road.
(42:09):
And when you look at what Texas A and M
was able to do at Mississippi State last week, this
is looking like.
Speaker 3 (42:14):
A team that's for real. Long gown of the day
is Jimbou Fisher. Go ahead.
Speaker 10 (42:18):
I'll make it short and quick here since we're running
short on time here, I'm playing Texas A and M.
It's a play for the client and it's a play
for myself here. I think they'll cover the seventh.
Speaker 5 (42:27):
There you go, covering the seven. Going over to you,
Dan Cameron, who do you like here Texas A and M?
Or does Florida get right today? Winning by one? You
take a look at that spread and you say to yourself,
seven plus two hundred again is one of those cheaper spreads.
But when you saw what Florida was able to do
last week over Texas, do you think Florida might have
figured out a winning formula today against a better team?
Speaker 11 (42:47):
Go ahead, Yeah, I'm with him on this one.
Speaker 10 (42:52):
I like Texas A and M.
Speaker 1 (42:53):
But man, I just don't bet Texas A and M.
I can't.
Speaker 11 (43:00):
Somebody's gonna blow something.
Speaker 3 (43:01):
Then there you go, There you go.
Speaker 5 (43:03):
And going over to you, Daryl Harris, how do you
see this one shaking out? Florida A team that's reeling.
They're on the road today, Texas A and M. You
know you sound like this lawyer that I follow on
Instagram shout out the Cocktail Law firm down in Texas.
He's the Texas Longhorn and alumni in Texas A and
M's law school.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
He's like, you know what, you know, I just got
a rag on him. You know it's a good school.
But you ain't Texas, you know, so Dan, you sound
like him? But go ahead, Daryl Harris.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
Yes, yeah, I think Florida struggled with some of their
tests so far. They'll be tested again today and I
don't see them passing that test.
Speaker 3 (43:36):
I see it passive test. Lord, have mercy.
Speaker 5 (43:40):
So as I mentioned to you before, guys, we're gonna
go around the big board, try to get everybody some

Shout out to USC as well. You'll be able to

but I'm just going with the home team here because
it's a decent price at two and a half. Thank
