they'll put cash in your pocket. So before we get
into today's action, guys, let's do a little bit of
a recap of the top twenty five some things we've
seen in college football. There's the start of this season.
One of my early dogs of the season that I
just took a flyer on. I've been watching some of
their preview and camp takes. Shout out to Tarlton State.
Tarlton State down in the great state of Texas gave

(10:30):
me two huge wins money line dog win over Army
about a week ago. So you know, there are value
in the FCS teams because of the nil, the transfer
a portal and the like. So again, guys, I'll start
off with you, Dan Cameron, what are some of the
trends that you're seeing while I pull up this top
twenty five list?

Speaker 7 (10:46):
Go ahead, Yeah, man, I mean I've just seen you know,
when I look at the top twenty five right now,
they just look so dominant compared to the other teams
right now in the in the league. So you know,
we just got to see who's gonna start stepping up. Obviously,

(11:06):
yeahn in Texas. You know, we got a kid, Archie
Manning that's got some mechanics problems, so let's see if
he can get those sticked up. When he plays the
big boys this year.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Let's talk about it a little bit, Rodney Newple arch Manning,
I haven't liked what I've seen. It's like that new
model car that comes out and they tell you it's
going to be great and it gets you two miles
per gallon city go ahead.

Speaker 8 (11:30):
Yeah, No, I certainly think there's a lot of hype
and playing two over hype. Now I'm not I'm not
quite ready to toss the kid away and say he's
not going to be a great prospect or even a prospect.
But yeah, I haven't. I haven't loved what he see
I've seen so far. But let me and you're kind
of talking about Top twenty five. I want to give
a shout out Soft Borida Bowls.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Yes, South Florida.

Speaker 8 (11:53):
Yeah yeah, big game against the you today would be
three straight top twenty five wins. If they can find
a way to beat the Kings.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Today, well, I think they're going to be the sleeper
team in the FBS, as we saw last year. Going
to give a shout out to our hometown running rebels
beating up on Ucla. I've got a dog play on
Ucla today. Guys, if you stay tuned to the show,
and you got to stay tuned the whole time. We'll
tell you how to bet that game. But I like
what I see with South Florida. I will tell you
this though college football, and we're seeing it go into

(12:23):
the NFL, the evolution of the dual threat quarterback is
essentially going away. We've got a lot more pocket passers,
a lot more coaches are working out of the pocket
with their offensive schemes. But South Florida, meaning that they
have that dual threat quarterback. When you look at their
offensive scheme, do you think that's going to be something
that will carry into at least the next three maybe

(12:44):
four weeks in the season, because I think defenses we'll
figure that out, stacking six on the line, a roaming linebacker,
and maybe another four guys in the backfield. Going to you,
Dan Cameron talking about the South Florida Bulls here putting
teams on notice, winning games that they weren't supposed to win,
and they're doing it with that dual threat quarterback that
they got there. Trying to pull up his name, but

(13:05):
Dan Cameron, go ahead, Uh yeah, I.

Speaker 7 (13:07):
Mean that's a I think it's a tall testa to
beat Miami today.

Speaker 8 (13:12):
But yeah, I mean.

Speaker 7 (13:15):
It's always tough with those teams down in South Florida.

Speaker 8 (13:18):
Man, they recoit so well. They always you know, South.

Speaker 7 (13:21):
Florida, Central Florida, all those Florida teams. Many just there's
so much talent in Florida that when you get a
good team like the South Florida team, and you get
a good dynamic quarterback like you say, there, it's just
hard to u you know, you can't underestimate a team
like that. There you go, what's gonna happen?

Speaker 1 (13:39):
There you go, let's talk about it.

Speaker 7 (13:40):
We've got some talent too.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
They got some talent too, they really do. I mean,
right now, I mean, we might as well get into
it today. Don't have the rotation numbers pulled up, but
we're getting them for you. We got South Florida right
now ranked number eighteen in the country, going to play
the Miami Hurricane today Saturday, four thirty Eastern. This is
a one thirty game. Giving it to you early here.
Let's go ahead and start handicapping. The Miami Hurricanes have
had a resurgence in the past couple of seasons, really

(14:05):
really good football team. I think they had the number
one pick last year in the NFL with their QB
cam Ward still waiting for him to emerge in the
pro rankings. But Miami right now minus eight hundred, South
Florida plus five hundred. You know, I like the dog here.
I like the points. Give me the seventeen and a
half by it up to twenty one if you're not scared,
I mean plus five hundred. Though I don't like the

(14:27):
way the linemakers have balanced that minus seventeen and a
half for Miami plus seventeen and a half, South Florida
only plus five hundred. It looks like a points play, Rodney,
noopleill go to you.

Speaker 8 (14:37):
Yeah, it does look at points play. The book. The
books don't want you to take too much trouble today.
I know that's where that's at. But no, that's a
lot of points for a South Florida team that's won
two straight top twenty five games. Yeah, that's a points
game for me. I mean, I don't mind sprinkling a
little little money line because five to one value is

(14:59):
still fine because I think they can win in Coral Gables.
But yeah, seventeen and a half would be would be
what I would love today.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Dan Cameron, your thoughts on that. Do you like the
money line even though the value has been extracted. I
would expect to see this at maybe plus seven to fifty,
maybe plus eight hundred. It also comes back to the
concept of South Florida and Miami recruit in the same locations.
You got a lot of transfer portal guys coming in
from big programs. South Florida is poised to run their

(15:28):
conference this year, and that American Athletic Conference. I think
that's where they're at, or it could be Conference USA.
They've changed them so much over the last couple of seasons.
But when you look at it from the perspective of
how they're going to play today, National Championship quarterback on
the other side, Carson Back talking about that transfer portal,
the former QB from Georgia. You've got South Florida coming
in here playing very, very stout defense. They're one hundred

(15:50):
and fourteenth in offensive success and their third down conversion
rate one thing I don't like. It's only thirty six percent,
and that tells you that the Bulls have trouble with
the threat quarterback because sometimes again when the quarterback likes
to run and not necessarily working in the pocket, working
through his receivers and his progressions. A team like Miami
can get heavy on you with those athletic dbs. Are

(16:11):
we looking at a couple of picks today? I think
if South Florida turns the ball over more than twice today,
I'll only give him two times. They lose this game,
it won't be by seventeen, but they won't get you
the money line. You can still put money in your
pocket though, with the points. Dan Cameron, your final thoughts
on that, and then we'll move along. Go ahead.

Speaker 7 (16:28):
Yeah, I mean, I don't know jab Carson Beck doesn't
turn the ball over, and I mean I think this
is what Miami's been looking for a long time, as
a stable quarterback like this that doesn't turn the ball over. However,
like you say, South Florida went into the swamp and
beat them. That's a much tougher place to play than
than the Miami Dolphins Stadium where Miami plays. But yeah,

(16:51):
I mean with Carson I'm loving Carson Beck. You know,
he played for Georgia.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
I believe he won the national championship, a couple of
national championships.

Speaker 7 (16:59):
Yeah, yeah, exactly, And you've got a guy like that
with that kind of experience that doesn't turn the ball over.
I think it's a tall hill for the South Florida
to climb, but yeah, I mean I think Vegas is
right on the number there about seventeen and a half.
It's going to be somewhere in there. I think it's
a good See that's something I probably don't want to
bet on.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
Oh Dad, it's like, no, May, maybe take the under.

Speaker 7 (17:22):
Maybe take the under in that game.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
May, let's talk about a little bit there again. Thank
you so much, Rodneyknople coming back this morning VSX Digital
Sports Network, Jamie the Ticket, Vegas Goboard Express, the number
one sports a betting show in America. You can check
the charts. I'm back. We're above all those guys, because again,
you don't want to be picking with people who don't
do this live. So we talk about the college football landscape,

(17:44):
the quarterback situation at Miami. Rodney, I'm gonna throw this
over at you. When you go into today and you
see a guy like Carson Beck, who comes from a
very good pedigree over at Georgia, but I don't think
he's seen the type of tenacity from the guys from
South Florida. This guys from South Florida played with a
huge ship on their shoulder. They've got the confidence that

(18:06):
they can play at the level of SBF or use me,
FBS Championship Football to give them the opportunity to get
into that expanded college football playoff. Let's talk about it,
expanded college football playoff. You finish in the top twelve,
you get a seat, and you play it out. They're
going into that same process that they had in the
f CS or Division one double A back in the day.

(18:29):
But Rodney, your thoughts about South Florida's defense. Can they
come out and show another great defensive performance like they
did last week in the Swamp versus Florida, keep the
game closed and then maybe even get you a money
line win at the end? Go ahead?

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (18:43):
No, I do think they can. I think the rivalry
is part of what will not that South Florida needs motivated,
but the rivalry will help them, I think a little
bit here and knowing another in state team, Yeah, you know,
I do think it is lined up to be a
very competitive game, and I do think they have enough

(19:03):
dudes on defense they can slow Carson Beck down a
little bit, you know. I mean, Beck look good against
Notre Dame, of course, but I think you are going
to see a tough, fast defense to South Florida get
after him quite a bit today. So but what you
mentioned the top, the top twelve. I love that twelve
teams make the playoffs because it gives twenty teams kind

(19:25):
of that they're that flirtatious feeling that they have a chance.
And it just makes college football even even more fun
that these teams have an opportunity to get in.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Yes, and when you talk about it, finally got those
rotation numbers up, brought to you by our friends and
sponsors over at BetUS BetUS dot com. We'll have a
new link on our website, new q pond code for
you to double up your bet and get some bonus.
So the game we're talking about rotation number, that's right,
we haven't said it in about a year. Rotation number

(19:56):
one forty nine South Florida Bulls. It's moved up on
bet us to plus eighteen. Take it now that dog
is barking. I'm not too sure about the money line,
but I do like them in the points tease that
line up a little bit. Maybe give yourself an extra
field goal. Miami at home or rotation number plus one
fifty minus eighteen minus eight hundred on the money line,
I don't like it quick on the total, do you

(20:18):
think we get over fifty six today? We just need
both teams to give us twenty four points? Do you
think we can get into that? And then we'll move
to the next game, Dan Cameron, your thoughts and then
we'll jump on down the line.

Speaker 7 (20:26):
Go ahead, Yeah, fifty fifty six and a half somewhere
around there. Doe hovering, I mean I lean a little
bit like you guys talking about these defenses and stuff,
So I do lean a little bit twitch the under
in this game.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
He likes the under. Going back to you, Rodney Noupel,
Where do you see this when playing out from a
totals perspective? Last week we saw Florida and South Florida
end up in the under, but we know Miami has
a dynamic, athletic offense. Offensive line that really holds the
line allows Carson Back a true pocket password to make
work here today, if we see Miami get out to

(21:01):
an early lead in South Florida has to play the
catch up game, it looks like it's gonna push over.
But your thoughts go ahead.

Speaker 8 (21:07):
Yeah, I'm not sure anybody gets to thirty today. So
I do think we're gonna look at under. I think
we're gonna look at it at a twenty, you know,
in the mid twenties for both teams. I think it'll
be competitive, and I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna stay in
the under on this one as well. I'm gonna agree
with Dan.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
There you go agree with Dan on the under again. Guys,
you're listening to JB the Ticket Vegas Scoreboard Express live
here at KSHP one oh seven point one FM AM
fourteen hundred. I'm gonna do something that I normally do
for the other political show that I produce every single
Monday here in Las Vegas. But again its political show
I produce it. But we still have the political ban
here at VSX. No politics on the show. But we're

(21:43):
gonna open up the phone lines today. This is something
that I rarely do. So if you're here in Las Vegas,
you're driving around and you want to know how to
put cash in your pocket, make picks, give us a
call seven oh two two two one seven two eighty
three nationwide. Put a one in front of that and
you'll get right in here with us. Let's talk about
another game that I had here listed on the line
with you, and you guys know that this is a
game that's really been just knocking on my door here

(22:07):
and I've been looking at this game for the last
two weeks because what we've seen in Indiana in Purdue,
the Purdue boiler Makers are going to be making a
comeback this year. Guys, Purdue looks very good. Shout out
to former UNLV head coach and current Purdue head coach
Barry Odam making it happen for you over there. You
got Purdue going up against USC this afternoon, USC again

(22:30):
flagship station here in Las Vegas and Nevada for the
USC Trojans one on seven point one FMA and fourteen hundred.
You got to tune in to listen to this game.
But you know I'm gonna stick with the home dog today.
Got Purdue plus twenty. This isn't the same Purdue team
that we saw last year that was looking like a
middle school team. Okay, no defense, no offense. Barry Odom

(22:50):
is truly a football coach, whisper Okay, he can come
in and turn your program around. You got Purdue right now,
looking at an easy two to zero couple of powder pulps.
But they weren't that successful last season with those type
of opportunities. So I'm gonna start off with you being
in the Midwest, Rodney, do you think that today Purdue
can come out west and compete, at least compete get

(23:11):
inside of that plus twenty at USC. Because USC, while
they're looking dominant, I still don't think anyone is afraid
of them. They're in the Big ten. Now, there's no
more Pac twelve Panash king of the Pac twelve. These
guys are pretty much knocking around at the bottom of
the Big ten. You got rotation number one thirty nine USC.
Actually they're on the road Purdue, that home dog position.

(23:33):
I like it plus twenty one per due rotation number
one forty plus seven eighty on the money line, that
dog is screaming one by one, lose by none, Barry
otum fifty nine and a half is the total. I'm
liking Purdue here, not just because it's the an alumni bet,
but I think Purdue can get inside of that spread.
They're going to be shocking some people in the Big
ten competing, Rodney, your thoughts go ahead, Yeah, No, I'm.

Speaker 8 (23:54):
With you, especially being in West OFFI at and I
think I think one thing we've seen so far from
the Trojans experience and the Big Ten, they're not blowing
people out like they were before they came over the
Big Ten, and the Big Ten has been a kind
of a different beast for them. Twenty one points. You know,
I'm not fully thinking Prdue is going to be a
Big Ten contender, but I think they're good enough that

(24:16):
they should and I think they will cover that twenty
one points winning outright, I'm not going to go that far.
I wouldn't be surprised because USC finds ways to lose games,
but I will take the Boilers in that large spread.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
There you go, he likes the boiler Makers in the
large bread. Going back to you, Dan Cameron, when you
look at where USC is coming in this season, you're
saying to yourself, this is a team that really wants
to play the type of football that made them the
USC that everybody was used to seeing. Okay, the team
that would come in and just dominate tons of guys
that are going to the NFL on both sides of

(24:50):
the ball. We're just not seeing that out of USC.
We got two undefeated team today again the USC Trojans
on the road in West Lafayette at ross Age Stadium.
Shout out to the Purdue of boiler Makers.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Boiler up.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
You know what time it is putting cash in your
pocket plus twenty and a half? Do you like that
home doll today in the points?

Speaker 7 (25:08):
Dan Cameron, go ahead, man, I'm gonna tell you JB
I am bought in and sold on the USC Trojans
this year. And I'm never bought in on the USC
coaching never, but this year i am. I'm one hundred
percent bought in. I see the cojins covering the spread easy.
I'm sold on the Trojans. They're a sneaky pick I

(25:29):
think to even win the national championship. I'm that bought
in on USC.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
He likes USC today and again. Guys, you can call
in and give us your opinion. Seven oh two two
two one seven two eighty three opening up the phone
line when you hear it on the replay. Don't call
back at eight o'clock because I won't be here. It'll
be the replay. But most importantly, if you get up
early in the morning and you want to get some
cash in your pocket. We can make that happen for you.
So before we take this commercial break, we'll give you

(25:53):
another quick game here that I wanted to talk about.
This is a game that wasn't really on my list,
but it was on my email list of the producers
put out Wisconsin versus Number nineteen Alabama, Big ten sec Challenge.
This isn't basketball, people, Okay, this is football. And you know,
I don't really like those Midwestern teams from the high

(26:13):
up north coming down to the South and playing in
that high humidity. But it's gonna be a decent weather
day today for Alabama. Alabama's already got a loss earlier
on though coach de Boor they're ready to take his head,
they're ready to get him out of there off of
one loss. Do you think that's gonna affect the coaching
style or the coaching choices of coach to Boor today

(26:35):
and maybe give Wisconsin a team that knows they can't
score the football. These guys just play defense, and they
play rough and tumble and rough and scrum type of
football long gone of the days of Ron Dain. But
when you talk about it from that perspective, going over
to you, Rodney neople. Does the team that everyone thinks

(26:55):
is gonna win this game have the chance to win
this game. I honestly and looking at Alabama today and saying,
you know, I don't see the dynamic offense. I don't
see the dynamic defense. And I think if Wisconsin can
just lock down and not let Alabama score, the Badgers
could be in it from a points perspective, now points

(27:17):
perspective to maybe keep it close. If Alabama completely drops
the ball today and Dobor's stress level is too high
for him to compete and put those boys out there
ready to play today, I think Wisconsin could prove to
be a little bit of a trouble. Now, if this
was Wisconsin, you know, Cheesemaker University D three, you know,
I wouldn't say that. But Wisconsin is still a solid,

(27:38):
formidable team in the Big Ten. When you have to
go play them, you'd know you're going to be playing
in the trenches.

Speaker 8 (27:42):
Rodney, go ahead, Yeah, I mean, three touchdowns is a
lot for a big ten SEC battle. But I do
see so I see Alabama playing with a little bit
chip on their shoulder. I mean, the SEC is rightfully
so tired of hearing about the big ten. Not not
necessarily rightfully so, but this big pen's won the last
two national titles, but SEC, who was the conference forever,

(28:06):
has kind of given that rein up to the Big
tenning of these last two years. And I think you're
going to see an Alabama team that's going to be
pretty kicked off and ready to get after the Badgers.
I'm probably taking Alabama and the three scorers. And because
Wisconsin can't score, I mean you're looking at thirty one
seven and the Tide cover sore you go. I do

(28:27):
think Alabama runs away with this one.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
I totally got you man. You know that's my issue
here with this game as why I didn't want to
handicap it.

Speaker 8 (28:34):
Again.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Shout out to my main man legal league last week.
He gave me a great pick FIU and penned State.
He told me take the plus forty one in that cast.
So again shout out to Legal Lee here, one of
my legal mentors in town, Philadelphia's finest. But we talk
about it from the backside of this Alabama. Are we
going to continue to see the Alabama Crimson Tide and

(28:55):
their fans be at odds because of that one loss
and one thing that you have to look at I
think Steve car Sarkisian said it from the University of
Texas National champions going forward, most likely won't be an
undefeated team. And the reason that is is because transfer
portal parody, the various things that you have going on

(29:16):
with the head coaches also changing and recruiting players that
they may not be used to and it's very, very
tough for these teams to get jailed. But again, thank
you guys so much for being on Rodney. You can
stay here with me, getting ready to go to commercial
break out the rashad coming on in the background for you.
Dan Cameron, your final thoughts on that Alabama or Wisconsin,
what do you think is going to happen in that game?

(29:37):
Go ahead?

Speaker 7 (29:38):
I think it's a bad mess up for Alabama. You know,
I don't know if day Bor really win in a
lot of games that are you know, run the clock,
run the ball down your face tough, you know, you know,
eat a stake during halftime type of game, you.

Speaker 8 (29:54):
Know what I mean?

Speaker 7 (29:55):
I don't Yeah, you know, so, I mean, you know,
he's kind of a if it gets down to a
dragon have a game like that. I think Wisconsin can
cover the spread just by running the clock and running
the ball down on.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
There you go. You know what time it is? Dan
Cameron d Sports Ledger, Rodney Nepole. Are you standing with us?
Are you're hopping off the big board?

Speaker 8 (30:12):
Go ahead, you all stay with you for a little
bit longer.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
There you go. That's what I'm talking about. Guys, got
the shot of the background running it back around for you.

not me, that's you. And we want to appreciate and
thank all of you out there for listening around the country.
So Dan, Cameron, Rodneynople let's get back into it. The
big board is calling us and we need to put
some cash in our pockets. So when we take a

(33:27):
look at this rotation today, a lot of teams have
really just kind of settled in. It's week three. We're
looking at some of the powder puffs get pushed out.
But there's a big game on the line today that
I like. And we were just talking about this team
taking a loss to one of our dogs last week.
The LSU Tigers are going down on the road to Florida.
They're going down to the swamp. This is a battle

(33:48):
of the SEC. I think this is the best battle today.
Conference matchup, a lot of playoff implications, a lot of
ranking implications, and you have two teams right now who
I think are similar matched. But it's going to be
the intangibles that make the change for this game. And
again Rodney Newpole. Want to throw this one over at you.
Do you like Florida today? Okay, because Florida at one

(34:11):
in one right now. They can't let that season start
to slip away. Okay. And one of the things that
people have been telling me, they're like, you know, LSU
very dominant win last week, they played well, it's a
balanced team. No one's really talking about them. But I
really like the fact that LSU has been stable at
quarterbacks for the last three four seasons. And Garrett nus Meyer,

(34:33):
I think that's his name. I know his last name
is nus Meyer. That is where I feel the edge
is for LSU. They've got continuity, They've got a geil
essentially on that offense because they've been under center with
the same guy for the last three four seasons. No
transfer portal at the QB, and I think that makes
a big difference. Where you have Florida who's coming in
tons of transferred players and already picking up that early

(34:55):
loss to Florida State Rodney go ahead.

Speaker 8 (34:59):
Win by a touchdown more in this one. I something's
not right with the Gators, you know, Billy Ny Piers
the trouble there. I you know, I'm not a I'm
not a big Brian Kelly fan, but I do think
he's got a legit squad. You mentioned it at the
quarterback being stable there and not only being stable but
be I mean he's scart enough. Gartton Nusfy are pretty good. Yes,

(35:21):
I do like. I do like LSU today, and I'm
not sure it's gonna be close, and you're gonna hear
a lot of heat coming from the from the swamp
at one and two stars.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
A lot of anger now South, A lot of anger today,
a lot of anger. Rotation number one seventy one. Florida
Gators on the road. They're in a dog position. Now,
when you say, how could you not take Florida in
that dog position? They're a good team. They're ranked plus
two thirty five. That's why you don't take him in
the dog position. Okay, no value here, road dog essentially
playing out of state in the state of Louisiana. They

(35:52):
got that voodoo stick working down there. Rotation number one
seventy two, LSU minus seven. It's a touchdown. We haven't
seen it move. It will probably begin to move after
this show. Dan Cameron, your thoughts on that? Do you
like the Tigers today to win by a touchdown or
do you want to try to flip that, maybe put
some money on it, tease it. I just don't like
the pricing. This is a game that could be very exciting,

(36:13):
but we've got to see some money coming on it
to make it interesting for US betters here, because plus
two thirty five for Florida is not enough money to
risk heading out to the swamp and baton rouge the
second swamp. And then you look at LSU minus seven.
Are they really going to try to put that much
effort into an early season win over Florida. It's a
win by one, lose by none situation, but if you
bet the spread, you lose. Dan Cameron go ahead.

Speaker 7 (36:36):
Yeah, this is one of those games I feel like
that makes sports Butter's nervous. I think what happens in
this game is it's gonna be close up until the
late third quarter, and then that's when I think LSU
will pull away and you know, win by a couple
of touchdowns. But I think it's gonna be close and
people are going to be like, oh my goodness, we
might not cover and it's almost the fourth quarter.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
You know, you know what I mean, who wants to
sweat right Olsuo.

Speaker 7 (37:02):
Hits a couple of touchdowns in the fourth quarter and
they cover. I think it's gonna be one of those
kind of games. But yeah, I do like Yelisu to
ultimately cover.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
That, right well, I mean a touchdown seems a little
bit big. I'm going back to you, Rodney when we
take a look at the total on this game, and
one of you guys has got a little bit of
feedback in there two in the microphone. It's okay, it's
the first day back VSX. Gotta have a little technical difficulties.
It wouldn't be me if it wasn't forty seven and
a half. That total looks super low, and I think
both of these teams, at least in the first half,
we'll get after it. You got a total in the

(37:31):
first half of twenty six and a half. Can we
get two touchdowns out of both of these teams to
go into halftime or we're gonna be looking at a
fourteen fourteen, fourteen seventeen type score, or we're gonna be
looking at a three seven, three nine something like that.
A field goal from one of these sides, most likely Florida,
because I don't think they're ready for this type of
road test. I mean, when they lost to Florida State
at home, it didn't show me that they had the

(37:52):
dominance to protect the home. So how are they going
to go out of state to one of the more
dominant teams in the SEC and make that happen. They
only can make it happen is if they score points.
And what we saw them do against Florida State a
couple weeks ago, they didn't get any points up on
the board, so forty seven seems a little bit low, Rodney,
your thoughts go ahead?

Speaker 8 (38:10):
Yeah, I probably will go the opposite narrative of what
Dan's got. I'm probably I think LSU is gonna come
out and be ahead and stay ahead. I'm looking at
something like thirty eight thirteen. I don't know as if
this game is gonna be close. I'm not high on
Florida at all. So if I got thirty eight thirteen,
I'll go over in this one. I don't know what

(38:31):
the you know, if I have a halftime score, I'm
looking at something like seventeen to three, you know, looking
like it may be right at the total. But I
do think LSU ultimately wins, and I'll take the over in.

Speaker 1 (38:42):
This one, right. I think LSU should be a home
dog today. The only reason they got the touchdown is
because they've got the two and oh start. And if
you look at where Florida has been LSU, they haven't
really necessarily played a top tough team. A couple of
powder puffs could be tough on the schedule that forty
seven and a half bye back to forty five and
take the over. Okay. I think that the SEC right now,

(39:04):
knowing that the Big Ten is nipping at their heels
to be the dominant and premier football conference in this country,
do not want to lose that particular status because if
you look at where the conference is right now, every
single team except for Bama, Florida, Texas, and UK are undefeated. Okay,
in the SEC. It's a tough go round in the
SEC this year, folks. You got to listen to Uncle JB,

(39:26):
Mississippi two and O Arkansas. These are all teams that
are two and oh Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina
kicking around down there. You got tenn SC. Now we're
moving into the big game that I wanted to line
up today. It's the late night game. As one of
our dogs of the day, Texas A and M is
playing Notre Dame today. This is very interesting. Texas A
and M. Rotation number one seventy three, the A and

(39:48):
m Aggie's plus six and a half road dog going
out to South Bend Rotation number one seventy four. The
Nordre Dame fighting Irish. They've got to win a game
right now. You can't have Marcus Freeman going down to
o and two p. Well, you know what happens to
those coaches that tend to go zero and two. They
tend to be out the door. So minus two forty
on the money line, it's not badly priced, but it's

(40:12):
oddly priced. And when I look at an even number
here on the total at fifty, I'm saying, maybe stick
with the total. Can we get it over here? Is
Notre Dame legit? I mean the loss last week to Miami,
it was a good loss. I give Notre Dame credit.
They played a heck of a game. They really got
out after Miami. They kept it close. Few penalties is

(40:33):
what cost them. A few mispasses, a few drop balls.
But Notre Dame is right in it and I don't
think that Notre Dame, after showing very good last year
where they could be getting close to that college football playoff,
is going to fall off now. Texas A and M.
They're out of the Jimbo Fisher era and they're playing
a different type of football, a lot of wide receivers.
They got this young wide receiver, Dan Cameron, you probably

(40:54):
know his name, transfer portal guy, real real, good, wise receive,
either runs route, super strong, should be a first round pick. So, Dan,
I'll start with you here. Do you think Texas A
and M has what it takes on the road today
to put Notre Dame in a position where they might
have to start looking at joining the conference.

Speaker 7 (41:10):
Go ahead, Yeah, that's an interesting game. Like you say,
you know what I love about Notre Dame. Go ahead,
Marcus Freeman. I love that coach Man. I think he's
a tremendous coach. Notre Dame better keep him. Yes, but
you know this is one of those games. You know,

(41:33):
I like Notre Dame a lot this year. I think
that they've played well. They played LSU right earlier this year, right, yeah, so,
and they played amazing in that game.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
They're at home.

Speaker 7 (41:45):
It's six and a half spread, tough Texas A and
M defense. I think that's gonna be their issue right there.
Marcel Reid for Texas A and M. He's a solid quarterback.
He's not gonna he's not gonna turn make a lot
of turnovers, I don't think in this game. So I
think that keeps it close. But ultimately I think give

(42:05):
me Notre Dame again late in the fourth quarter to
cover the spread.

Speaker 1 (42:09):
There you go, he likes Notre Dame to cover that spread.
Going back over to you, Rodney, when you talk about
Notre Dame and Dan, just to correct it, they've only
played one game, I think August thirty first, looking at
their schedule right here, Notre Dame only played one game,
lost to Miami. They had a week to think about.

Speaker 7 (42:24):
It from Miami.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
Yeah, that's fine, that's totally fine. They had a week
to think about it. Guys, do you think this is
one of those situations where Notre Dame comes in and says, look,
we got to protect the home. We got to give
Texas A and M a loss, because remember it's still
an SEC team and with Notre Dame being independent right now,
being at that top twenty five ranking, is not a guarantee.

(42:46):
It's something that with the college football playoff now no
more BC has no more committee polls putting you in
the playoffs or putting in the national championship by arbitration,
if you will, Notre Dame has got to be able
to show that they can compete with the big team
in the SEC. Going back over to you, Rodney, how
do you see this one shaking out? We'll do one
more game and then we'll get ready to get out
of here for the day. It's been fun, It's been

(43:08):
very fun. So glad to be back in dropping grease
here in Las Vegas and around the country. Vegas, Go Board, Express, iHeartRadio, Spotify,
you name it, We're there. Follow me on Instagram at
JB the Ticket. But Rodney, your thoughts in this Texas
A and M game, and then we'll go into one
more cap and game and then it get our best
players today and get out of here and get to
that book.

Speaker 8 (43:24):
Go ahead, Yeah, I mean a couple points there. Number one,
Marcus Freeman, you mentioned it had an extra week to
prepare for this game. I do like that. Factor Number two.
This is actually the final chance for Notre Dame and
beat the ranked team all year now. Obviously the rankings
can change over the next ten weeks, but they do
not have another ranked team on their schedule all year,

(43:46):
which you know, if you want to get a ranked win,
and this would be one an SEC team. So I
do think Notre Dame wins six and a half?

Speaker 5 (43:54):
Could?

Speaker 8 (43:54):
I do think it'll be competitive, but I'll take them
by a touchdown to win the game. So I'll pick
the Irish. I'll stay away from the tootal, but I
will take not to Dame minus six and a half.

Speaker 1 (44:05):
He taking a Notre Dame a minus six and a half.

Speaker 8 (44:08):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (44:09):
Let's get into one of our final plays of the day, people,
staying in the SEC, this is a very good matchup
Vanderbilt versus South Carolina. The resurgence of the Commadors. No
longer a doctor school, people, this is the school that
knows how to play football now and they're putting players
in the NFL. They're playing against the strong South Carolina
team right now, ranked number eleven in the country. And

(44:30):
you have to ask yourself, is Vanderbilt ready to go
on the road and start putting a hurting on some
of these teams that everyone has been saying is better
than them because it is a sleeper. When Vanderbilt comes
into the arena, you can't just take them lightly anymore,
Dan Cameron, I'll let you get your thoughts on that,
and then we're getting ready to get out of here.
Go ahead.

Speaker 7 (44:48):
Yeah. South Carolina's first game against Virginia Tech. They came
out right down the field in that first game and
scored a touchdown, and I thought it was gonna be
a complete well, I thought they were gonna for fifty
on Virginia Tech. Ended up being twenty four to eleven.
They didn't score a whole lot after that. But what
I saw in that game is they got some big

(45:09):
talented receivers.

Speaker 8 (45:10):
They got some big boys.

Speaker 7 (45:11):
I really like this South Carolina, this team, and definitely
give me South Carolina tonight.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
Giving you South Carolina tonight. So again, guys, thank you
so much for listening to Vegas Goboard Express this morning.
We're back. It's a brand new season of VSX season eight.
Thank you guys for all listening here in Las Vegas again,
