Som dreng spillede han meget rollespil, bla. 'Call of Cthulhu', der er et horror-rollespil baseret på H.P. Lovecrafts univers, kendt som Cthulhu Mythos.
Det gjorde ham interesseret i at lære H.P. Lovecrafts fortællinger bedre at kende, og derfor satte han en tegneserieantologi baseret på hans værker i søen.
Det blev til udgivelsen 'I ly af mørket', som fik meget medieomtale og nu har ført til en ny H.P. Lovecraft-antologi, som blev præsenteret på Copenhagen Comics.
Seriemagasinet nr. 114 bød også på en tegneserie baseret på H.P. Lovecraft-novellen 'Rotterne i murene'. Samme fortælling er med i den første H.P. Lovecraft-antologi fra Forlaget Afkom.
