(01:27):
one only artist Madison Chase. Asou how you doing? Thank you great
to be here and doing great, doing great good. We haven't seen you,
know wall since then a minute.I'm glad to be back though.
Oh you might know. Yeah, like I said, I see you.
You ain't stop a b. You'vebeen in your ground, your groove since
you stepped off, not left thepace. You've been skipping forward. I

(01:48):
like that. Sometimes you're right now. I appreciate it, but sometimes I
want to when I get to sleep, you can sleep later and keep doing
what you're doing, you know whatI mean, Like let it pay yourself
off later, but appreciate it.Very happy for you, Proud of you
too. I'd like to see thatsuccess. Definitely, definitely appreciate you,
man, definitely. But let's talkabout you right now. So, uh,
that's definitely not a problem. Sotell the world who is Madison Chase.

(02:09):
Madison Chase actually born government as SylvesterWatkins. Everybody calls me Sill,
they knowing me by Sill or Slod. Madison Chase is actually the brand.
How that came about basically, afterI had did some time as the youngest
state for five years in jail andcame out and got my my life together,
what I thought I did, Iwas still getting harassed by cops.

(02:30):
I was still getting pulled over, still throwing on the car, still being
misjudged because of my past history. So basically, uh, the last day
that I finally made a decision thatI wasn't gonna take it no more,
a cop had pulled me out ofthe car for you know, just something
I really didn't do, just sayingI didn't turn a signal, or I
turned a signal later a light, but anyway, he had me pretty much
head down and handcuffs on the car. And when I looked down and he

(02:53):
basically said that you know, hein his car when he pulls me over
and pulls up my name, itshows that I'm a convicted fella, I'm
armed, and I'm dangerous, soit makes him automatically approach me in a
certain way so that he has noway but to be rude to snatch me
out the car before our short oflicense, throw me in handcuffs before he
tells me what's going on. Andthat was his side of it. So

(03:14):
as I'm laying, I mean notlaying, but as he got me,
you know, in handcuffs on thecar, I look up in the name
of the street is Madison Chase. So I knew right then and there I
was like, Yo, look likethis gotta stop. You know what I'm
saying for me, So for me, what I'm gonna take going for is
pretty much the change from black menanyway. I can't say far. I'm
in black and Latino man, youknow, but pretty much from men from

(03:34):
when they already you know, beinga convicted fella and already than done their
time and pay the debt to society, and now they're coming back, they're
already being branded. So Madison Chaseis a rebranding that society really doesn't does
of the individual and a black menthat I feel that I'm opening up the
door for to come back into societythrough arts and entertainment. That's what I
do. You know what I'm saying. So I'm a writer, you know

(03:55):
what I'm saying. Music wise,I do poetry, I do wrap music,
I write R and B. Whateverit is to write, I write,
I write films, you know whatI'm saying. So being from that
perspective, you know what I'm saying, I'm always gonna be open and doing
different lanes and doing different things andworking with different people and stuff like that.
So it comes to to branding. So I chose Madison Chase to be

(04:17):
that step foot forward without distractions ofthe past, whether society still was trying
to hold the past to selvester theWatkins. You know what I'm saying,
Like, there would be no passhell to Madison Chase and anybody that's moving
forward with that. So you knowwhat I'm saying. So I use it
for everything. So with my books, it's Madison Chase PubL Publishing, you
know what I'm saying. With myfilms, it's Madison Chase Films. You

(04:38):
know I'm gonna be getting in clothing, It's Madison Chase Clothing. And I
have a magazine that I actually Itold you I'll be helped getting you to
help me actually fully pull it out. But I've had it laid out the
layout of it for years. It'sMadison Chase a magazine, So everything still
follows under the branding and the rebrandingkind of of the upliftment of the identity
of the black male. From myperspect active, that's pretty much what it's

(05:00):
about. So when you hear MadisonChase, you should think a black man
on the move doing his thing positivecan't be stopped. You know what I'm
saying, Like, that's that's theimage that I'm creating through my arts and
craft of what I'm doing with it. I listen before just give a clap.
Okay, listen, just hearing yourtestament. And I read the book
you gave me a while back.I loved, Oh god, it was

(05:23):
time we met up the first time. Okay, yes, on My Way.
Yeah, My Way was the firstone I put out. That's what
most people read. It was amazingstory, by the way, until I
appreciate that. I appreciate that. And you went through so much. I
mean, we all go through stuff. You know what I'm saying, Like,
we all go through it. Butyou know what I'm saying, But

(05:43):
it's good that we can relate throughother people struggle, you know what I'm
saying. So you can see wherewe all come from, so you look
at where they got differently, youknow what I mean. So I appreciate
that you listen, Let's just justyou plug the books re quick before we
get into more of the questions. So the first book is My Way that
I wrote. I pretty much wroteboth of my first two books when I

(06:06):
was halfway locked up. The otherone I wrote once I came out.
But my Way is kind of morelike it's uplifted. It's something that's being
able to show kind of my mistakesand that's laying out there. So it
would be a self help book toshow you what I did on my road
to success, the things that Idid wrong, so hopefully you cannot do
the same ship that I did,you know what I'm saying. Kind of
learned from my mistakes and then thatwas kind of like my little, my

(06:30):
little testimony that's right there in MyWay Now, Jersey Boy is it's more
of an urban novel, you knowwhat I'm saying. So it's a storyline
pretty much, you know. Sothis isn't just basically sold off me.
I'm not gonna say that. Itmight not take an event or something that's
out of my life, but it'sa fiction story. It's a story,
a collective story that I put togetherof things that I've seen in a lot

(06:51):
of people lives, you know whatI'm saying. But I made it into
a one cohesive story. You knowwhat I'm saying. It's anab I'm from
Jersey source called Jersey Boy. Sothat's the second book that I put out.
You got it, Okay, Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, both
of those books that I got themout on my website, which is my
way shops dot com. You knowwhat I'm saying. They could always order

(07:13):
the books through there, And likeI said, I'm my I'm Madison Chase
Publishing. I would be the onesending it to you know what I'm saying.
I have my own publishing company.I have the ability to do that.
You know, noes. But thoseare those are the two books out,
and then I have a two morebooks. Well, one book definitely,
hopefully by the end of the years, I would be a poetry book.

(07:35):
One event I'm gonna show you Ihave coming up is gonna be on
a boat next week and I'm doingerotic poetry. So yeah, so the
next book I'm gonna put out willbe kind of a rotic short story poetry
book, and then after that I'llgo into a you know, back to
like drama. Just kind of wantto hit every area of putting books out.
Eventually it will be a kid's bookas well. You know what I'm

(07:57):
saying. I just showed that I'mnot stuck in one genre of my writing,
you know what I'm saying. Soeach time I write is gonna pretty
much be in a different genre,so I can hit them all to show
you as far as with books is, it's nothing. I'm gonna give it
to you every way. You knowwhat I mean. And I always and
I got to add to that quickly. I think the best thing is when
you teach. Teaching also helped theyouth, as I said, because you're

(08:20):
into as well, and you guidethem and to your own testimony and their
eyes and your eyes as well, but you also helped them. That's gonna
be a blessing because along the waythey're gonna be like, Wow, this
gentleman went through so much, buthe's still here. He's an essential part
of what we are in our lifeto go on and movate ourselves exactly exactly.
Well, since you brought that up. I really wasn't gonna speak about

(08:41):
it, but now I am.As far as dealing with kids my initiative.
Reason I wasn't gonna bring it upbecause again it's something that's not fully
emotion but it's still done by afew people who just normally do it anyway.
But anyway, it's kind of mynonprofit that I'm working on. It's
call Fund and as Father's United Networking. So basically what that was again,
it started from brothers being locked upthat basically was having issues being able to

(09:05):
see their kids or dealing with youknow, their child's mother once they came
home from prison. You know whatI'm saying, whatever the issue may be,
whether it be visitation, whether itbe clothing, with it be money,
just whatever it be a headache Ofor arguing, it's just there was
always issues, you know what I'msaying. For me, and then a
whole lot of other you know, men that I knew as well as far
as being able to get back intotheir kid's lives and have a relationship with

(09:28):
their kids. So well, funis to create that initiative number one,
to get that space that if forinstance, one guy came home and he
couldn't have vegitation to his kids. But he found out, you know,
the mom was doing drugs. Youknow, she had different men over there.
He went there, he did whathe had to do, but he
got custody of all of his kids. But at the time of it,
he needed somebody to call to honestlysay, Yo, I feel like going

(09:50):
to kill his bitch. You knowwhat I'm saying. No, No,
I said he needed somebody. Sono, he needed somebody to call to
be able to say that. Youknow what I'm saying, Like, Yo,
she won't let me see my kids. I'm just coming home. You
know, I just got a room. I don't even have a place to
stay. Like I held that picturefor the last six years. Why is

(10:11):
she doing this? And don't havenobody to talk to? But then when
he actually has somebody because we createdthat space, it's like, Yo,
bro chill you talking retarded. Youknow what I'm saying. I know that's
how you feel right now, buttake it down. You're never gonna be
able to see your kids in arage, you know what I'm saying.
And like you got somebody else thatand know what you're going through because I
might not have been one hundred percentthere too. But we all been in

(10:33):
the space like that. So youcould either holler at me, you could
holler at somebody like him here, get it out, you know what I'm
saying. And then after you letthem get it out, it's like,
all right, I got it out. You know what I'm saying. I
ain't hurt nobody, I ain't donothing nobody. I just needed to scream
and cut somebody out. You listenat the moment. Now, what can
I do to fix that situation? Now, let's put our heads together.
You need to go to court. You need to figure out this. People
work right here, we don't knowhow to do it. Okay, we've

(10:54):
both been in jail. There's thecourt lawyer. He've been sitting with glasses
the last fifteen years. He didn'tfigure anything out. He wants you to
help him. Help you get I'msaying, so now I'm boomed. There.
You got somebody that's helping you, teaching you what paper work to do.
And then he got his kids back, got his kids back, got
a grant to get a house andapartment, who paid for the rent for
him to have his kids back. After he came home for jail. So
that's what fun is his Father's Uniteand creating a network that we could be

(11:16):
able to help one another, andthen doing events. So say like on
a Saturday, we all decided todo a car wash, and as men,
we say, we want to doit without the women. So I'm
gonna get my kids. You getyour kids, he get his kids.
We all meet up, we goout there, we all do a car
wash without the mothers. We say, we want to take the kids away
the Poconos for the weekend, youknow, do intramural games with him,
flag football, do whatever, cookfor him. We're gonna stay there overnight.

(11:39):
We don't want to women. It'sabout men, father's united network.
You know what I'm saying. We'regonna take our kids. We're gonna go
out there. We're gonna bomb withthem for the weekend. You know what
I'm saying. So because you broughtit up, I figured I mentioned it
again. It's not fully in success. But I just had the story of
that one person because that's a truestory. I didn't bring that to bring
that. I really know this guywho did that and who really got his
kids. Like I didn't bring dothat, but I know it was a

(12:01):
network of just a couple of useven before. It's actually something that he
was able to call to and gethis ship straight and get his kids before
we continue. This is man's amazing. Listen, and I applaud you,
and I'm gonna tell you why, because we need more programs like that for
fathers. Yeah, definitely definitely,And that's my mind. Is not other
money yet. It's hard, butyou can still just start with the little

(12:24):
smaller community of people that you thatyou deal with it. You know what
I'm saying, that's what we've beendoing. You know what I'm saying,
that's doing that. We've been doingdoing that because we need more of that
and your your program is going tobe a success rate. Just keep doing
that. That's most definitely, mostdefinitely, most definite. But like I
said, I brought it up becauseyou said, you know the kids,
it worked out, Hey, bringingthe kids were goods. You have something

(12:46):
you wanted to say, Let yougo and then I keep on running.
I got you. So all right, let's talk about the music now.
So let's talk about how did youget into the music game. So music
for me personally myself, I'm oldschool, so I grew up on rap
probably like I think the first hiphop show I went to was l COO
J Fab Boys. Yeah, theyrun DMC. They was all in Queens,

(13:09):
you know what I'm saying. Theywas having a show there. You
know what I'm saying. That wasthe first time I've ever been a show.
So that's what I That's what Igrew up on. Curtis blowing all
that. So for me, Istarted writing like way way back in like
you know, fourth fifth grade asa kid, actually moving on as an
artist, and you know, wayback then, you know, getting signed
to some management, doing some showsopened up for some people. They give

(13:33):
you free clothes and take you around, do stuff like that, you know,
just having a little fun. Neverreally you know, made nothing of
it, put out a couple oflocal mixtapes or whatever. But as I
got older, pretty much what Idecided to do was I saw that there
was a lot of talent, firstof all in my family, in my
community that was coming up behind methat was just fired. So it was
like, yo, I might havemissed my time, but there's so much

(13:54):
of hotness that's around me that's notgetting exposed like they supposed to be.
Getting exposed. And when you lookon TV, you hear on the ready,
Yo, somebody's out there rich, and you're listening to it, and
a half the time you be like, Yo, what the fuck is that?
And then the other time that you'renot saying that, you're like,
yo, it sound like the sameshit. They're saying the same thing over
and over and over and over andthey feel rich, so the same right

(14:15):
now. Yeah, It's just alwayslike that. So it's just like when
you know that you hear something, you know what I'm saying, especially if
it's some family, it's somebody inyour neighborhood, and it's like, Yo,
they need to be out there.I know that they could actually be
something. I started taking on thatposition, like you know what I'm saying,
like, let's come on and let'sget other people that can wrap in
and have the time to really dosomething. If I know you while you

(14:35):
sitting there, let me help youget out there, you know what I'm
saying. So for me, asfar as music, where that has taken
me to now is my movies. So I'm working on my well, I
won't say the first time I'm workingon the film. I'm this is like
my third time working on the film, but this one is fully completed.
I'm finished filming it. This isthe first film that I have from beginning
to end complete it, you knowwhat I'm saying. And right now we're
in an editing phase. It shouldcome out early next year, twenty tw

(15:00):
for like Mark sometime you know,to the streaming channels hopefully to be and
some other things like that. Youknow, you know, best bet is
what we're hoping for, But inthe meantime, it's the actors. The
soundtrack is what I was gonna sayfor that movie. That film is what
we're gonna be working on. Andwhat I do is music. So I'll
go now and I look at differentartists that I know who are talented,

(15:22):
different people I met in the industrywhile I've been networking, and I start
to put these artists together to goahead and create the soundtrack. And what
I'm gonna do is drop a soundtrackand then you know, different mixtapes probably
after that soundtrack on different projects tokeep artists relative. It's basically what the
the format is what I'm gonna bedoing. So me as an artist,

(15:43):
still, if I record it seventeensongs that we're gonna put out of the
soundtrack. I might do a songand that I might do a verse with
somebody's album, But I'm not actuallypushing my career. I'm trying to push
the conglomerate of everybody else, thecommunity of everybody else, to get everybody
seen music usically. So that's prettymuch where I'm at and what the project
that I'm working on right now willbe the soundtrack for the movie Snakes in

(16:04):
the Garden. We have probably abouttwenty to thirty different songs already been submitted.
We like a whole lot of stuffthat, you know, we want
to use. My nephew, whowill speak to a little bit later,
is one of the artists that welike his song that we want to use
on the soundtrack. We can't movetoo fast because again it has to be

(16:25):
edited and the person you know,as the directors editing it. The songs
have to match the scene a certainscene perfectly. So though I might like
the song, if it doesn't fitthat scene, it might not can be
able to be used, you know. So we're in that process right now.
But we have a bunch of songsthat we like that we think we
want to use so I'm definitely That'swhat I've been working on, is finding
these songs, finding a way tomake them cohesively sound together, find a

(16:49):
way I think they will go togetherin the you know, in the soundtrack
together and then just you know, making that happen once it comes out,
pushing it, giving them someplace toperform once it comes out, you know
what I'm saying. So to me, it's not gonna make no sense to
say, okay, come on here, you put a song. When they're
streaming. You're not really gonna getmuch money until you get a certain level,
even if you're pushing your own career. But if you have a venue

(17:11):
somewhere that you can actually sell tickets, make something off of the door,
actually like travel to do a performance, that's how the artists put money in
their pocket. So I try tokeep that in mind. So as I'm
doing a soundtrack as far as musicstill, I'm getting them in the studio
to record the songs if they alreadyhave it done, you know, put
it together for the soundtrack, butalso get them venues. And when I

(17:33):
was on your radio station, Italked about this before a little bit.
Was the underground railroad you know whatI'm saying. It's again, a lot
of stuff with me unfortunately is visualizing. So it's like we're getting there,
but it's like it's a process, and it takes much more than me and
much more than one or two otherpeople, Like you know, when I
vision stuff, I try to lookat stuff for a collective a whole.
So you're gonna need, you know, a lot of players to make the

(17:56):
things that I'll be thinking about work. But it works for the betterment of
everybody, know what I'm saying. So it just takes time to get there.
But the underground Rulroad again is basicallylaying the tracks, you know,
from state to state, venues thatgive the artists places and spaces that they
can go to perform and show theircraft and be paid for their craft outside
of being local in their own neighborhoods. And we don't have enough for that,

(18:18):
you know what I'm saying. Sothat's what purpose of underground RURDAD.
Just say, Okay, Boom andBrooklyn. Right now there's artists in Virginia.
Come on up here and show mewhat you got. Then on Tuesday,
come on, we're gonna take youdown to a land and show them
what you got. Then on Wednesdaywe're going to Texas. But we have
in the network these different locations whoare saying, bringing us your talent.
So we're doing them a justice byfilling up their venue and bringing them talent.

(18:41):
We're doing an artist of talent bytaking them somewhere putting money in the
pocket. Yet. So that's whatthe idea of the underground Rudroad is.
And we have a lot of peopleagain who because we're not actually in motion,
I can't say they're all aboard,but it's people that we know who
are already moving their own companies, who are already networking with us already right

(19:02):
now, So they're already kind ofon board, even though they're not on
board anything we do. They comeout to support anything they do. We
come out to support, you knowwhat I'm saying, anything, especially with
the kids. We all kind oflike a phone call away, you know
what I'm saying in this, Andit's a lot of us. You know,
I'm Madison Chase, you know whatI'm saying. I do everything under
that in the streets. I toldyou before. He does a lot of
our marketing and a lot of ourpromotion. But and that helps with the

(19:26):
artists too, because whatever the artisthas coming on, they can take and
they can push through his channels. You know what I'm saying on Instagram and
Facebook and his social media that he'screated a platform for the artists already so
that they get that exposure, andthat's his only reason of doing it.
You know, we have Indie Streetsclothing, which just like I'm taking Madison
Chase on to kind of extend it. What we did with Indie Streets is

(19:48):
it's the promotion and marketing, butit's also a street brand to where we
created clothing for it. So wehave T shirts, we have hoodies,
We have things like that in JerseyData for sale and online you know,
Mabi shops dot com. They cango up there and see the T shirt
and see the hoodies. They canorder those as well. So he would
be aboard the you know what I'msaying, the train as well, even

(20:11):
though we're not actually in motion, you know what I'm saying, But but
he's but he's there. Yeah, you know, you go down to Carolina
on this film. The only waywe got as far as we got was
because a lot of people there, you know, did a lot of things,
you know what I'm saying in Carolina. Uh, Mike ray Anderson.
He's first of all, he's thedirector, someone that I met in prison.
You know, we used to kindof go ahead ahead on prison shows.

(20:33):
You know what I'm saying, battlingin prison, you know what I'm
saying, showing our skills, youknow what I'm saying. And uh,
you know we both wound up cominghome. And when he came home,
you know, he followed his craftto being a wonderful producer, editor,
you know I'm saying, writer, everything in Hollywood. So he kind of
with this project has taken me underhis wing, you know what I'm saying.

(20:53):
And like he's been making big strides, you know, so he's kind
of like showing me how to beable to make the strides as well.
So he's in Carolina, you know, Mike ray Anderson, shout out to
him. He's doing very, veryvery well. He's been a big help
also a lot of people out thereVegas. I mentioned him before. It's
with Maltlife. They do the music. So they have a big conglomerate in

(21:17):
music in North Carolina, very bigsound. It's like ten different artists out
there. So whenever you know,we're doing events, they'll sitting there.
Artists appear to come and you know, to perform. We'll go out there
to perform. You know, theyhave their clothing out there. They do
kids events as well. You knowwhat I'm saying. Yeah, they have
their own records record companies, soSouth Records. Like I said, Vegas,
DP, Shell Trail and I'm all, guys, no brakes entertainment.

(21:38):
Uh, it's just they bring tothe conglomerates. So now you having Carolina,
you know, somewhere again, ifI take an artist from Jersey who
wants to have a different sound, they can go down to Durham, North
Carolina and tap in with Vegas.I can send him there to the studio
where he can record them, gethim a different sound, then set them
up with a photo shoot, setthem up with a music video down there.
They have a different look, youknow what I'm saying. And then

(22:00):
we look for space done there wherethey can actually be able to do a
show while in there and make money. That would be the underground railroad,
you get what I'm saying. Justlike we have you know here in New
York. Somebody that says, youknow, I need to be on the
cable show. I need an interviewdone in New York. I'm from down
south. Nobody knows about me.Okay, when they come up here,
I'm gonna sending you to go tovirg she's in the network. And then

(22:22):
an artists from up here. Youknow, Carolina, we have Bubba Bubba
roll Up TV. You know whatI'm saying. Bubba roll Up is down
there, he's in our network. You know what I'm saying. We will
send up to him so that theycould get interviewed. Down there, we
have Rank Season Entertainment. He's alsodown in Atlanta, and man, he's
in Carolina. So just two differentplaces of videographers, of people who have
their own entertainment companies, you knowwhat I'm saying of places down south.
We have Virginia as well, wherepeople are aboard the movement, even though

(22:47):
it's not fully ink. It's peoplein their own space who have artists who
are moving forward in their craft thatwe're already linked with. And we're using
the movie and the soundtrack right nowto kind of build these steps of the
road tracks so that it'll get,you know, a little bit more done
as we're moving forward. You knowwhat I mean. I love that.
I mean like woof wow, that'sa lot. Yeah, no, no,

(23:08):
no, no, I feel itis. I mean this is the
last of all. You've done alot of works again today now say most
of that time, I've been downmy health. I don't have mass surgeries.
Yeah yeah, but you're okay, don't mean yeah, yeah, I'm
here. You know what I'm saying. Okay, I'm here. We're moving.

(23:29):
You are good, You're moving. We're gonna make it happen. So
before that, so you said thebesides the mixtape, be working on with
all the artists and your own music. Is that coming out? By this?
By the Snacks, the Grass inthe Garden, Garden, Sticks in
the Garden will be the soundtrack. So we can't put it out. We
will probably put out mixers and we'llstill do shows. So good, So

(23:52):
we're right now in August, Sosay we give the director September, October,
November to November the figure out.You know, at least it's first
ten to twelve songs that are goingon in the meantime. Even though we
don't know which songs will be selectedout of the thirty, we know the
thirties will be working with. Sowe're still having events moving forward and letting
the artists perform as though hopefully they'llstill get on the soundtrack, you know

(24:17):
what I'm saying. So while thesoundtrack is in the works and you will
being identified as a person that mightbe on it, we're still giving you
space to perform and be heard, you know what I'm saying, As if
though, and though you're gonna beon the soundtrack, So we'll probably have
what is a mixer, so say, if the songs are like five minutes,
we might have something it gives you, like a two minute snippet of
the song, and put something togetherso that people physically or either online can

(24:38):
listen to an idea of what wewant to use for the soundtrack. The
actual soundtrack soundtrack itself won't come outuntil I'm on the release of the movie,
So the movie doesn't come till March. The soundtrack might come March or
February, right before, you knowwhat I mean, the actual soundtrack,
because the music really like they allgotta you know, it has to show
best. Things gotta go a certainway, you gotta dress it, things

(25:00):
got to look a certain way.So if it's supposed to be music,
video, then soundtrack, then thefilm. You gotta keep it that way.
You go against the grain, thenyou're not gonna get very far.
You gotta you gotta follow the grade. You follow the grade. So but
it's back back to your project now. Besides, you're doing a phenomenal work
with everybody, so just keep playingit. Appreciate that you right know you

(25:21):
right. No, But for yourown project, like you said, uh,
you're pushing that out right this thisyear, which one the movie,
the book? Oh, you're youryour album, You're you're solo. No,
I'm not doing any solo album.I'm not. I'm not. What
I'm dropping would be the book, right, would be the film and the

(25:41):
soundtrack of the OK for the film, which I'll probably be on. But
I'm not dropping any music solo projectsfor myself. No, not at the
moment. There might be a daywhen I will, you know what I'm
saying. But you know what I'msaying. It might be a day when
I will, But you know whatI'm saying, not not at the moment.
In the future, Yeah, inthe future, I might put some
works together, definitely, definitely.Yeah, I'm excited got me all excited,

(26:03):
like, what's the next song comingout? No, but that's good
because I gives you that out likethat. I'm we're definitely working out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitelydefinitely all right. So besides that,
you would you like to introduce youryour nephew on the show. So my
artist is a two F posey.Yeah, I don't want to mess the
name up, yeah, because I'mlike, wait a minute, two F
posy, that's my nephew. Okay. He's from Jersey, he lives in

(26:25):
PA. He's really dope. Hewrites his own music, records his own
music, does his own videos, puts it on YouTube, puts it on
SoundCloud. We definitely want to usesome of his music on the soundtrack.
So I got one of his songsthat I'm gonna get to the producer later
that they can add on. Butwe just want to call them, okay,
real quick to try to get himon the phone. Maybe some art
fictures and speakers, so if theycould pick up the audio artist question.

(26:49):
Okay here if you can hear itanyway, So yeah, that fogy can
you hear me? Yeah? Allright, bet I got you live on
the radio right now. Hey,welcome. How you doing, I'm good,

(27:10):
tired, my hanging the Definitely,I'm honored to have you on the
show. Thank you for coming. No, definitely, no, don't no
dons. So just briefly tell theviewers and watchers listening tuning in a bit
about who you are as an artist. You know, I've been rapping for
a couple of years. I likeprobably like sit three years. Wow,

(27:33):
I'm so managed, you know,and I think they're seriously it's too how
nowhere? Really? Okay, that'swhat's up? What's up to us?
A few of your musical influences, but my musical influences, like yeah,
who inspired you? Yes? Really? My dad? Really? Oh?

(27:57):
I like song Who's mainstream? Buthearing him and maybe it gave me like
like I want to do it myselfand take it seriously. I love that.
That's amazing right there? Wow?Okay, cool? Cool? So,
like right now, do you haveany upcoming projects or any singles and
stuff you have out? Yeah?I actually got I got a couple of

(28:17):
songs. They're on all platforms aswell. Okay, I'll tell us a
few of them. Yeah, Igot a song called your Mind, uh
tattoo babysitting. I have a lotof singles as well, a lot of
singles on SoundCloud, YouTube, AppleMusic, Spotify, on everything. Okay,
cool, cool, I like this. This is give me a hype

(28:40):
right now? Ye awesome? Anddo you have any visuals behind that?
Behind that? This was behind that? I have two music videos okay,
okay, and we're gonna be workingon get some more music videos. I've
been talking with your producer about thatto get some more music videos for him
too. Oh so you know it'sit'll be late. Oh yes, yeah,
yeah, definitely, definitely, nodoubt, no doubt. So prior

(29:00):
to that, any coming performances youhave coming this year, not that I
know so far. I was lookingto get him for your artists that you
have at that event to open up. I just have to figure out a
few more things to see that wecan get him to the event. But
I wanted him there to open upfor your artists. What is the releast
part of the single release? That'sall that's this Saturday, Okay, nah,

(29:23):
nah, I won't be able todo it this Satday, but I'm
hoping to have wanted your events thoughto get him to be able to open
up for somebody. Yeah, we'lldefinitely talk. I want to get him
in as much exposure as I can. Listen now you know the spot,
Yeah, no doubt, no doubt. Definitely definitely. Any shutouts you have,
any shout outs I got? Yeah, you know, shout out to
the family, shout out to thetwo West. That's really too famous.

(29:45):
We too famous for people sometimes, you know, shoot shout out the game,
shout out to shout to all mygame. I like that. I
like that, okay? And whatcould people find your social media? Where
you can find me on all Instagram? TikTok I a ii hasy which is
h a z I okay, gotcha? Okay? And so this quickly,

(30:08):
how did you get that name?Because I wanted to know that. Yeah,
to be honest, it was likeit was like the little thing I'm
a I'm a gamer, to behonest. So I kept switching my name
on the game, and a lotof people cannot pronounce my real name,
which is John Mirror, So Ichanged it a couple of times, and

(30:29):
then I stuck with the name hagHim hag him, hag him had Ah.
Okay, that's interesting. That's thefirst I ever heard of I always
even know how to be How doyou get just nay him? That's the
first one for me, now ah, I like that? Okay, okay,
So what is your your game planfor the future in your music career?
Game plan? To be honest,it's a big it's a big plan,

(30:51):
and it's for like real estate,Like I want to do music and
real estate. Really imagine meeting someonethat has like a big name attached to
them and like a couple will probablypay a little bit more money to just
meet me and buy a house fromyou just to like meet me, you
know what I mean? Wow,I like that. Yeah, that's that's
something different. But like I'm gettingadditional commission out of this, you know

(31:11):
right right? You never no manshould like that like that? Now,
who are like your mainstream artists youwant to collaborate down the line? If
you like a celebrity you like,I want to work with them in down
the line, To be honest,I won't work with Polo, g Baby,
Little Tyler, like Glorilla. Theyall are for effects. He read,

(31:34):
they're really like they too. Don'tforget about to go drink like you
don't forget him now Okay, now, okay, I like that some different
sounds. I like that. Ilike that. Okay, Now down down
the line, like, would youtap into different genres in your music or
are you just stick to just onething? Actually, I'm I'm all over

(31:56):
with music like sho, I coulddo it really anything. So times I've
seen sometimes I'll be on some undergroundmusic. Sometimes I do drill like I
don't just thinking one thing, becauseI want everybody to be able to have
a song that they like for themselves. And that's what's up. Okay,
okay, okay, diversified, youknow what I mean. You gotta do
it like that. Diversified. Man, No one lane is over here.

(32:20):
We multi lanes, multi lanes,Yeah, get everybody, Get everybody in
there now, alight, that's right, that's right. You might no,
man, you might no. Andany last words you want to give it
to the viewers watching it and tuningin. Right now, I've been really
tapping in my music. Let peopleknow I'm really I'm I need more views
really like I'm not very seen rightnow. Should be got you? Okay,

(32:45):
what what what? What's that?Exposure? That's what we just finished
talking about, honestly, the exposure. You know what I'm saying so,
and this is the whole point ofthe point of it is to get them
in that exposure. No, definitely, you might know what it is.
That's what it is. Definitely. And may last question to you before you
go, what advice you want togive to anybody that's starting out in the
industry. Just keep going really becauseI started with this Apple headphones in the

(33:10):
phone. Wow, And I was, to be honest, I blew up
when I first started to have likeone hundred and twenty K on my first
song, Just gonna Apple headphones inthe Apple phone just like that. And
you know it's it's really easy, but you just need you need to keep
doing it and keep being persistent withit to get where you want to be.

(33:34):
Very true consistency. Yeah, thisis a big thing. Yeah,
yeah, not giving up. Keepmoving, keep moving, you have to.
I want to thank you so muchfor coming on the show. I
appreciate you, man, You're welcome. You welcome anytime now you really no,
thanks for tuning that. We'll talkwith you a little bit, all
right, thank you, all right, all right, appreciate that you walk.

(33:58):
See we makes things happen here, you know. Yeah, yeah,
like I said, that's all. It's about, get the artists he supposed
man, give them her, givethem some more space to conquer, That's
all. And the baby. WhatI like about it also is like it's
just giving many more people opportunity andthen to inspire them to like not give
up on their own dreams. Soit works out for everybody, you know
exactly that's about. Is there anythingelse you want to give us? Any

(34:23):
exclusive, any tea? I mean, you know how we do the show,
so anything just reminding everybody, youknow what I'm saying again, there's
Jersey Boy, there's my Way,you know, the self up the novel.
You can always go to my Wayshops dot com and order them.

I'm saying. You can go andsupport in these streets. We have the
T shirts and the hoodies now,but we will be bringing some some more

(34:44):
lines of clothing and some lines forfemales as well, and then eventually the
kids. You know what I'm saying, So please go check that out and
support venues. Thanks that we're doing. I'll show you, yes, the
flyer, but I'm doing erotic poetrytoo, you know what I'm saying.
As an artist, I don't gota music coming out, but I don't
keep it in one lane either, you know. So I have poetry that

(35:04):
I do, erotic poetry. Andthe event is coming up actually August twenty
fourth. It's a boat ride actually, and you can still go sign up
at least from New York Scott Port, Marina. Uh. It's next Thursday,
six pm boarding, seven pm selling. And it's actually going to be
multi generally multi genre poetry, music, dance, pop up shops, networks.

(35:30):
I'm gonna be there. I'm gonnahave my books. I'm gonna have
a vendor stable that's there. ButI don't know if you could even see
the picture. But on the picture, I just tell you that it's a
boat. It's three floors. It'sgonna be three floors of music next Thursday
Saturday. I'm doing the Rod ofPoetry. There's a lot of other artists.
They're doing poetry, is doing somepaintings. They're just really having a
good time. So that's one ofthe events that I have going up.

(35:52):
Everybody wants to come out. Ihave a good time on the boat.
They can do that. You knowwhat, I'm saying, oh, turn
up before summer ends. Yeah. And then if you're following me, following
me on Instagram at Madison Chase,at Madison Chase Lifestyle, you can find
out about my books, the movies, the events that we do. They're
always private parties, but the industryevents, so I put together you know,

(36:13):

the videographers, directors, actors.I put everybody in one space together and
you know, we kind of havekitbacks, networking events where we all get
to know each other, to talkor you know, help one another things
like that. That's part of whatthe underground rul Road is. So tap
in, you know what I'm saying, like, get with the program,

(36:34):
see what we do, see whatwe got going on. You know,
bring your business to the forefront. Most people now their their own independent business.
You know, since covid. Youknow, no matter what craft you
have, it's you. You're outthere promoting. It is you doing your
promotion on Instagram, your marketing, you selling your own products online. So
you why not come out and joina community that's already doing what you're doing.

(36:57):
Supports business, gives you more lanesand access you know what I'm saying,
and network with others. So that'spretty much we do. So tap
in following me at Madison Chase Lifestyleon Instagram. You can follow at Indy
Streets Entertainment. That's what we doour marketing and promotion at Snakes in the
Garden Moved the movie that's where thefilm is gonna be. You know,
you can follow that when we dropthat next year. You know, just

join the community fun as far asthat Father's United Network. If you're tapping
into the community, I will beshowing you how to be a part of
that. Any men that's interested in, you know, coming out joining us,

Jersey, New York, Connecticut area, and we also do some events in

(37:43):
Carolina and Virginia as well. Butif you want to come out, definitely
tap in. You know what I'msaying, be a part of the community,
coming you know what I'm saying, network with your kids, Let's have
fun. You know basically that's it, and you're gonna keep getting more from
me. I got another book that'scoming out. The poetry book is coming.
I got another novel that's coming outto drop soon. Once this movie
is out. There series to come, So nothing stopping there. You know

(38:05):
what I'm saying, Jump aboard thistrain, you know, bring your business
to the forefront, bring your talentto the forefront. Let's network, let's
get it. Also, any shoutoutsyou want to give while y'all here and
shout outs, I mean, basicallymy shoutouts is to my kids first,
you know, uh, just basicallyfor being patient for me because I'm always
busy, I'm always doing shit.I'm always trying to trace the dream to

(38:28):
make suthing happen. And anybody knowwhen you're trying to do that, a
lot of times there's neglect, youknow what I'm saying. So it just
it is what it is. Butmy kids are always very you know what
I'm saying, understanding you know, they try to do that, you know
what I'm saying, until you know, pop dad get his thing going on,
you know what I'm saying. SoI really, you know, get
shout out to my kids for beingpatient with me. Why I'm doing it,
you know what I'm saying, Butjust the people that are on the
train, Like, those are mostlymy shoutouts. You know what I'm saying

(38:50):
again, it's you know, it'sMadison Chases in the Streets, Ranks Season
Entertainment, so South Records, BigHook Entertainment, and Carolina they're very big.
They some artists on you know,Bubba Roll Up TV. It's just
the conglomerate of the artists and inthe people who already have their companies that
are abort And that's just really myshoutouts to them. You know what I'm
saying. I appreciate what y'all doingbeing there before we even there, and

(39:14):
I know we're about to continue beingdoing big things. You know what I'm
saying. That's basically what it is. You know what I'm saying. So
those are those are my shoutouts.Definitely I got something like now my producers
knows about to do. It justhappened earlier with another guests. Give you
a few minutes, all right,Now, do I hear ringing wedding bells,
wedding bells, wedding bells, weddingbells for who me? Nah?

(39:39):
Hell no. The reason why I'msaying is held like, Nah, that
was funny though, that was funny. No no, no, no,
no, that alright. I don'twant to scare you man, No,
no, go ahead saying that. All right, well whatt you some type
of psychic you've be trying to see? You see something? Yeah? No,
he that's what he's laughing. Ohyou know what I'm talking about?

(40:00):
Or you foresee some like I ain'tplaying on doing no heights or stealing nothing.
I'm doing you no, no likethat. No, no, no,
listen to Jason, mister, shutyour mouth so up. No,
no, we'd be saying this allright. So the individual in this room

(40:23):
my people's my driver. Who areyou talking about? What are you talking
about? But what do you whatwould you say that? Though? All
right now it's just Jason's laughing overthere. So I know what I'm saying
is I don't see anything wrong? No, don't get me wrong. Let
me no, no, let melet me tell you what you're picking up
on like that. No, that'smy people, that's that's more than that.

(40:45):
It's my driver. Anyway, shejust not want to interview. That's
my people. No, no,she's like, listen, I'm in the
back. But but we we wewe fire signs I'm a aries and oh
that's why she's a leo. Sowe kind of like twin flames. So
what you see is a strong onthe connection. But it's not a marriage
connection, you know what I'm saying. But it's a connection permitment. But

(41:06):
it's not in the former head ofwedding ring, we home, we husband
and wife in the connection. Weon fire and she's part of the underground
brother or what we're doing too.But that just shows you the power.
So again you're like, you're you'rein the room and she's not even in
here. You haven't even heard hervoice, but you can just see the
power of the energy that's coming foryou. But she does a lot about
music. She's in control of goingout and pulling, you know, dealing

(41:28):
with the artists that's on the soundtrack. She keeps things in order. She
listens to the songs, helped medecide who we're going to use, help
get the artists into the studio, you know what I'm saying. With filming
production, she do a whole lotof stuff. But it's the fact that
we're fireside and that's what it is. So it's like boom, there's a
goal and then once you get twopeople that you know what I'm saying.
I like on that goal, especiallyas fireside the areas in the LEO,

(41:51):
it's like it's just a flame andit's coming at you. So that's what
you're picking up on. Okay, because I saw something else, but I
might kick listen mark this. Hey, I'm gonna embox you later when I
saw, but I'm not gonna okay, sure, yeah, I trust me
three times. Okay, No,I'm not talking about now. I'm not
talking right at this moment. No, no, no, but I see

(42:13):
something happening. There's something in thesparks and down the line. I'm not
gonna say anything you're laughing at butI just didn't with the other guests.
She was like, get, Idon't know, brother, what you're saying.
We're already a right, all right, Well there's a possibility maybe down
the line. I might be wrong, because sometimes I have my moments,

(42:35):
but there's a chance and maybe somethingthat's gonna blossom and to lead to things.
The thing so I saw, I'mgonna say something I could blossom more
to what we already were already doingit, what we got. I don't
know you see if I'm showing youright, that would be that's all I'm
gonna say. Crazy if that listen, Mark this day next year, you'd
be like, yo, very gwhat did you predict that for Mark this

(42:58):
day? If you know, notalk. But again you gotta also think,
I see what you're saying, butI don't know from my perspective,
is like it's definitely going to grow. Maybe not in the sense that you
see, but like I see likeI see like I'm sign and I see
that like what we have is thefire we're working towards the goal. I
see like it's others like us,Like it's not just me, it's not
just her, you know what I'msaying, It's other people that are of

(43:22):
this puzzle. Like when you putus all together, you're like like right
now, like because we're in theroom, in the space of it,
you see it as as as ascoupled the energy as it's in the two.
But I will say that, yes, but when you see it as
a three or four or five, then you get a better like yo,
perspective, it yeah, is thatyou know what I'm saying, Like marriage,

(43:49):
I can't call it like like it'sit's a movement. It's energy like
and it can't be stopped, andit's and it's a movement of the people
like kind of towards something that's onfire. So I think that's definitely what
you if you're pulling in, youknow what I'm saying. But I might
be wrong, but I can alwaysbe wrong. But that's pretty much where
we were at. I'm just showingyou this something. Oh, you're gonna

(44:09):
see a lot of work, andyou'll see her, like I said,
you'll see her fire at some point. You'll see when the music comes out
and begin to that place in spaceand as we're actually doing events and stuff,
then you'll see her action and you'llsee what she do. Okay,
you know I can't wait. Seethat's okay. No, I'm not listen
when it comes. I have tojust deliver it as you should. Yes,

(44:30):
as you should should. But yeah, we're all fire, were rolling
though you're no. I thank youfor recognizing very well, that's very smart,
you laugh, you know, recognizing. God bless you all of you
guys from the bottom heart. Seriously, you guys are doing phenomenal work for
the community, walking for the youth, for you know, people are going

(44:51):
through something's vision. You guys areworking on doing. Like I said that
a lot of his vision we gets, no, but you're gonna get It's
tiny steps, you know what I'msaying. It's getting it all. It's
gonna happen. Everything's not been oneday. You just gotta keep pushing that.
The work, the consistency is big. Keep doing that, keep working,
getting the things put together, thepeople to write, people and everything.

(45:12):
Yeah, and when you get together, it's a wrap. Yeah.
When the time it is right too. You know what I'm saying. Time,
make this day, make this day. Telling you what I say,
he knows the majority of times happening. So definitely. Just you know,
you already know because you found successyourself, so you already know what.
It's hard work. But it lookedlike in the person who ain't gonna give

(45:34):
up, So you can already seethis. He's gonna he's gonna get there.
You're gonna get there. You're gonnamake it happen. You know what
I'm saying. That's what it is. Blessings man, thank you for having
me. I appreciate it. Iappreciate all the platforms you have. But
I did the radio station doing magazine, mazine. You got all these platforms

(45:54):
open, not just where I canpush myself and push artists as well,
you know what I'm saying. SoI appreciate you, but definitely for being
here for you know, giving usopportunity where I can step into some some
bigger space. Thank you. Youremember crying stop? No, you're keeping
in the hunting. That's a buck. You know what I'm saying. It's
keeping in the hunting for real, for real. I appreciate you. Thank
you very much anytime always, soyou know I'll be back. Oh,

(46:16):
he's like, I'm God bless youagain. Let's give it up for artists

it all y'all do sorry, medicineshade, that's what it is. Yes,
you appreciate it. And also you'reyou're not for you don't want miss
his name up? Can you announceit? Make sure f f too hawsy.

(46:37):
