Speaker 4 (05:58):
We got a live watering spelling guys, clop it come.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
All right, way to go.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
I was just going to see my house too off,
So how you been?
Speaker 2 (06:07):
That's everything all good. How long I known you?
Speaker 5 (06:11):
Very long time, like this has been a while, but yeah, yeah, awesome.
But I'm just amazed by your work, by the way,
and to see your growth and your amazing brand for
many years actually.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
And let's talk more about that. So those who don't
know who is Westchester Fashion Week? Who are you? And
what do you do? We says the fashion close yet.
Speaker 8 (06:32):
Yeah, I'm Joe Corblis. I'm the founder of Westchester Fashion Week.
We started roughly. It's coming up on our tenth anniversary.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Congratulations.
Speaker 8 (06:40):
Yeah, so we'll have some big stuff coming. But I
started producing shows, yes, and you were involved with Luckner,
highly humble, Valderini, We're going to be at her show
tomorrow night, and various other people, and so it just
went from there. When we doing lots of things within
(07:02):
the last year and a half, it was suggested to
me I started to do some clothes. So I started
to do without hesitation some things not a lot of
training or skill, but I have style and I know
what I like, and I have some good people to
help me. And I have lovely models male female children,
(07:24):
and we have fun.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
I love that and thees a go plus for him.
Everybody come on now, come on, good matter works? Now
tell me. I'll be like, what do you think of
break Joe? Come on?
Speaker 9 (07:34):
Now?
Speaker 4 (07:34):
You know what I mean? Like no, and how do
you've been? I've even this for a long time actually.
Speaker 10 (07:40):
But.
Speaker 8 (07:42):
I really started probably eleven twelve years ago. I used
to do like business to business events and then I
started to getting introduced to people and coming to Manhattan
and they were entertainment events, so I meet singers and actors, dancers, models, designers.
(08:02):
I started meeting a couple of designers and you know,
I helped them out. I refer to them some models.
I started doing some things with them, and I said,
well I can do this, yes, and there's a market
for where I am that wasn't there at the time, Westchester.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
So that's how it kind of all started.
Speaker 8 (08:21):
Then I ran into people like Lutner and highly Humble
and people that were there, and it's just kind of
grown from there.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
That's amazing, And it's about your inspiration because we're going
to talk about that Minnieset in a minute. With the
models walking, you know, you're amazing, Alpha bran everything, but
more what is the inspiration behind that?
Speaker 4 (08:38):
With your brand?
Speaker 8 (08:40):
I think it's just somewhere between everyday streetwear urban alternative.
Nothing on the gowns and dresses side yet, but if
I do have something that way, it's kind of alternative.
It's it could be anything. It's not going to be sown,
it's not gonna be designed. It's just gotta happen.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
I love that.
Speaker 5 (09:03):
And what sizes do you you prefer and what size
would you like to expand as well?
Speaker 2 (09:08):
I tell you what it's been interesting.
Speaker 8 (09:10):
I started because the majority of the models I know
are small sizes. But I have everything, and I do
and we have a mix of things so I can
do it. And we started with some of the men's
stuff and we mix and match some of it for
both genders, so and all sizes. It's all good with me.
Speaker 6 (09:31):
I love that.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
You also mentioned the kids.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
The kids also, Yeah, we do the kids. Sometimes I
do separate shows.
Speaker 8 (09:37):
Sometimes the kids are included in the adult shows. I'll
have one or two in the show. But we have
all kids shows at certain times.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Of the year.
Speaker 8 (09:45):
Okay, we do a gift giveaway in Younker's Arts, and
you know, the kids walk, kids get gifts, We have food,
parents comes nice stuff.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
I like this.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
I mean, it's been a while, have it on your
shows a while, but I would love so if you're
in New York City, let me know, we'll do it.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
That's not talking about yeah baby.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
Also besides, like I said, you don a lot and
I just want to go accommodate and say thank you,
you welcome because no, struck, come on, come on, no,
Because I've been a minute for a while infest show.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
I took a break from me because a lot of
things happening.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
But I realized seeing how you and a few designs
who have a chance to always stay stay in touch
with you, guys are always on top of your gun,
your your grind and working and you haven't got your flowers.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
So I want to say thank.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
You for for you you You welcome you right.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
No, So prior to that, what events you told me
havevent tomorrow? That's about that.

I will both be wearing a men's shirt and pants.
Speaker 2 (10:49):

Speaker 8 (10:50):
