Speaker 1 (00:59):
Greeting and welcome to another episode of Victorious, also known
as Victorious through Christ, where we explore how to live
a triumphant life through the power of faith in Jesus Christ.
I'm doctor eric Is Seaborn, and today we're diving into
a crucial topic. While harboring evil thoughts is a waste
(01:23):
of mental energy and spiritually exploitative to Christian believers. As believers,
we call to guard our minds and focus on what
uplifts our spirit. Philippians Chapter four, verse eight reminds us
(01:44):
to think about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely
and admirable. Imagine the peace and strength we can gain
by filling our minds with such thoughts. Evil and negative
thoughts drain our mental energy and pull us away from
(02:07):
God's purpose. But dwelling on negativity we handle our spiritual
growth and miss out on the peace that God intends
for us. First that Salonians chapter five, verse twenty two
tells us to abstain from every form of evil. This
(02:30):
isn't just about actions, but our thoughts as well. Engaging
with evil in even on our minds can spiratually explore us,
leading us down paths that separate us from God's love
and his truth. Romans chapter twelve, verse two encourages us
(02:52):
to renew our minds, transforming our thoughts to align with
God's will and his world, and this renewal allows us
to discern what is good and pleasing to Him, keeping
us spiritually strong. Ephesians chapter six, verse twelve reminds us
(03:18):
that our struggle isn't against flesh and blood, but against
spiritual forces of evil, and this battle begins in our minds.
By focusing on evil, we give these forces a foothold
in our lives. But fear not, we have the power
(03:38):
of the Holy Spirit within us. According to Galatians chapter five,
verses twenty two through twenty three. It speaks of the
fruits of the spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
and self control. And these are our weapons against the
(04:03):
forces of darkness. To live victoriously through Jesus Christ, we
must fill our minds with His truth. By focusing on
positive godly thoughts, we align ourselves with His will and
experience his peace. So let us commit to renewing our
(04:27):
minds daily by staying at His word, resisting evil, and
embracing the fruits of the spirit. In doing so, we
stand firm in our faith, ready to conquer whatever challenge
is come our way. Thank you for joining me today
(04:50):
on victorious through Christ. And remember your mind is a
powerful tool. Use it to glorify God and live a
life of victory. Until next time, stay blessed on purpose
and keep your thoughts on Him as you focus on
(05:13):
living out His word. In Jesus' name, God, bless you voices.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
