I 1979 blev Olaf Bjarne Paulson professor i neurologi. I sit arbejde har han fokuseret på hjernens blodcirkulation og passagen over blod-hjerne-barrieren. Det har han gjort gennem forskning og klinisk arbejde på Rigshospitalet.

I en samtale med klinisk forskningslektor Vibe Gedsø Frøkjær fortæller Paulson om sit videnskabelige virke.
