Haylight Shiners. It's Carlos and I know you guys have
missed Wards of the State podcast and we've been away
for a few months. But I'm excited to announce that
we are coming back next week. That is going to
be the first week, I believe, the first week of December.
I hope you all have had a amazing couple months.
I know I've missed you. I've missed sharing stories of
live experience from those from foster care, adoption and kinship placements,

and a few birth parents giving their lived experience as well.
But I wanted to drop in and let you guys
know that we are restarting. That's going to be the
first Tuesday in December. On December third, we will be
relaunching the podcast. Also this Friday, the twenty ninth, that's
Black Friday. We will be having a Black Friday cell
on Carlosdaler dot com. We will be bundling the second

book that is Watered The State Aboard the Adoption and
my first memoir Water The State of memori of Foster Care.
There will be a bundle cell for those two books. Oh,
I forgot to tell y'all I finished the book y'all.
So that's also why I've been gone for a long time.
I really wanted to focus on finishing the manuscript and
getting it off to the publisher. So book two is
going to be out. The pre sale starts for the

bundle sell on the twenty ninth, and then on the third,
so that's going to be the December third, that's the
day that the podcasts come back to you'll be able
to pre order the regular book, which we'll be releasing
January twenty twenty five, so less than like a month
and a half. It's been a long, long process, but
I'm so excited so you guys can actually hear my
lift experience of my adoption story. So make sure you
