Speaker 1 (00:19):
Welcome to was. My name is LS and I am
still little today just because Nick is down in Florida
with his family at Disney World, I believe. And yeah,
he's having a good time down there. I kind of
messaged with him earlier today and he's having a good time.
So that's always good to hear. If you are watching

(00:42):
the video, sorry, I am wearing my mic Will Keaton
cut off, and yeah, I do want to start the
show by saying, rest in peace Jonathan Joss. Unfortunately he
was taken from us due to a hate crime by
a former neighbor. Uh. And Jonathan Joss was just protecting

(01:06):
his husband. And it's a it's a horrible loss for
no reason. Uh. And it's it's it's sometimes it's hard.
Sometimes it's really hard to believe that there are people
out there in this world who are just very hateful.

(01:28):
So I just wanted to send my my my thoughts
and prayers. I guess I know. No, let's take that out.
I'm a horrible Republican now I said thoughts and prayers,
but I do my condolences to his husband and his
family and then also all the fans. But he's Jonathan

(01:51):
redcorn On on King of the Hill. But he was
He's Kinjotte on Parks and rec which is my favorite
show of all time. And I was literally just watching
an episode, uh that it's a kN episode and he's
always great, like he like it was the episode where
he shames Uh. Well, of course he does Jonathan jam

(02:17):
and Uh, it's always like he man, he was so good.
And then I was I believe he was in the
the Uh. It was in The Hateful Light. It was
the movie with Chris Pratt and Vincent Dinofrio. Uh, and
it's a fun movie. It's a Western, but it's not

(02:40):
always my soul. But Magnificent seven, I knew it was
like a number. Uh And yeah, he was great in that.
He like he was a badass in that movie and
it was really cool. So I just I did want
to start off the show by saying, uh, rest in peace,
Jonathan Joss. Uh your take from us way too soon? Hey,

(03:03):
movie news, Okay, so current movies that have come out. Okay,
I'm excited about both movies that just came out. I
saw them both. They are Bring Her Back and there
is Karate Kid Legends. There's also I'm sure there's another
movie that I'm missing, but unfortunately I just maybe I
just not interested. Who knows. But I saw Bring Her

(03:27):
Back first, and Bring Her Back was great. It's from
the Philippo Twins in Australia. They brought us Talk to
Me a couple of years ago, which I think is
one of the more one of the better horror movies recently.
It's like them and Barbarian Are are fantastic, and man,

(03:50):
this the movie is all about grief and how you
respond to it. And if I get into spoilers, I apologize.
Not enough people are listening, so uh, I apologize, but
bring her back. It's it's those stages as are brief,
and unfortunately one character just does not get past a

(04:11):
certain stage and uh and manifests into it this horrible
uh plot. But it's Sally Hawkins and she's so charming
uh and is able to gaslight so well, Like she's
so like vile in this movie, Like she's able to

(04:34):
be that, like she's playing that vile so well. But
it's so good and so fun because it's it's just
so cleverly written and perfectly performed. I It's it's almost
as if this movie was very cohesive and and like
made by the people who wanted to make it and

(04:55):
not didn't get a bunch of studio notes. But it's
I feel the philip would like keep giving them money
to make whatever movie they want to make, because they
are making some fantastic stuff. Sorry. And then also I
saw Karate Kid Legends, which I was originally skeptical about,

(05:20):
and then Kin Wong showed up on the Corridor Crew.
They do like the like they do stunt men and
visual effects artists and and animation reacts. I know it's
a react channel, but these guys are actually like professionals
who work in these in this visual effects field, and

(05:42):
they bring in professionals who do stunt work and animation.
But if you haven't watched, they're fantastic. But a couple
of weeks ago they had Ken Wong, who stars in
Karate Kid Legends, and I was I was like, man,
they're really kind of pushing, but they they found the
audience and it made me like, I love Jackie Chan.

(06:02):
I grew up on Jackie chan movies. I'm a kid
from who grew up in the nineties, and he is like,
he's so perfectly charming in this movie. I still think
that Jackie's probably best performance especially recently, like acting wise,
was a voice work and it's not Kung Fu Panda,
but it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem. I

(06:23):
thought his voice performance in that movie was so so great,
so like, of course I was going to see a
Jackie movie. I've never been a big Ralph Macchio fan
though I don't. I didn't really like the original Karate
Kid movies and I didn't enjoy him in Krobercry. I

(06:44):
didn't enjoy him in Cobra Kai just because he he
kind of played up his like I'm not, I just
I just never found the appeal of Ralph Macchio. Respect
him because he's been around for a long time. I'm
and and doing good work, but I'm just not a
big fan. But he didn't bother me in this movie.

(07:07):
But you know who I mean. Of course, Kim Wong
the Code who stars and he's so good in this movie.
But Joshua Jackson is also in this movie, and he
has like this really great arc in the movie that
kind of really moves the first half of the movie
along really well. And uh, the girl who is Kiin

(07:31):
Wong who plays Lee his his love interest in the
show in the in the movie Sadie Stanley. She was
in the Goldbergs in the last couple of seasons, and
she's really great. She's really charming, and she really kind
of lights up the screen. I was very happy with
with Karate Kid Legends, like if in the next couple

(07:53):
of weeks there are there are a couple of movies
that are coming out that I do plan on seeing.
I could have saw Dangerous Animal tonight if had I
wanted to, I just for an early screening. I just
as you can tell you are so. I am very tired.
But this upcoming week we have a couple of really

(08:13):
good movies and especially and also if you're lucky enough,
you can go to a screening of Dogma that are
are going around. They like they are excluded from a
list if you are an a list member. But Dogma
seeing it in theater again that it's fantastic. Why not?
Why wouldn't you? Of course the movies that are out

(08:34):
right now, there's Final Destination, Bloodlines. I didn't watch it,
not particularly interested in it. It's just not my genre.
I did like Leelu and Stitch. I didn't love it.
I liked it a lot. Loved Mission Impossible. First hour
and a half I didn't like that much, but the
last hour is like one of the best movies ever.
Bring her back, go see it. Thunderbolts is still in theaters.
A couple showtimes that's still good. Centers is still fantastic,

(08:59):
couple couple of showings. Oh, there's the Phoenicians. Scheme is
coming out this week, and I do plan on seeing that.
I don't know if I'm necessarily going to see it
this week. I'll probably see it this week. But there's
also Ballerina, which is of the John Wick franchise, and
I'm not going to see it. It's not because oh
I'm not going to see a female John Wick. I've

(09:20):
only seen the first John Wick. It's just not my genre.
I hope I bet Nick is interested in it. I
don't know if he'll be able to make it out
to the theater. But yeah, there's Ballerina. If you like
what I consider gun gun Fu, it's if you enjoy

(09:40):
that fantastic, I hope you go see Ballerina, see it twice.
And then of course I mentioned Dangerous Animals with Ji Courtney.
That looks interesting from what I what I've read so Oh.
If I do see two movies this week, it'll probably

(10:01):
be The Phoenician Scheme and Dangerous Animals. If I'm able
to get in a screening of Dogma, I'm definitely gonna
go do that, just because I have a copy of it.
But if I can see in a theater with a
bunch of people who also enjoy the movie, yeah I'll
go see that. I mean, you're you're paying money to

(10:22):
go see it. Why not? I hope you enjoy it.
But yeah, I liked I like those movies. Go see
Bringer Back, Go see Kartika Legends. Also, Nick. I wanted
to bring this up to Nick because it's a movie
he's been pushing on me for a while. But Nobody
starring Bob Odenkirk was fantastic. It is a little bit

(10:45):
more gun driven, a little bit more outside of my
usual viewing, but I really enjoyed it. What other movie
are you going to get Bob Odenkirk, Christopher Lloyd and
the Riza back to back to back and a gunfight
in a warehouse. Uh, You're you're not really gonna get
that at any other movie. The movie is fun. Bob

(11:09):
Odenkirk is very convincing, uh, for what he's doing, and
that it's it's a fun movie. I'll give it that.
I'm really I'm looking forward to Nobody too. Sorry if
that's a spoiler, because it definitely looks like he's about
to die multiple times in the trailer after I've watched it.

(11:29):
But yeah, it's really fun movie. I like Nobody And
then I also watched I had started it last year,
but I didn't finish it. Hundreds of Beavers, uh, and
hundreds of Beavers is it's vaudeville. It's just like it's
it's a little long, but they're all the gags are
really really well prepared there. It's such a really good

(11:55):
fun like mime slash vaudeville movies. Just yeah, I suggested
like you could. I think you could probably take this
in like chunks, like you need to watch it all
all the same time because you can kind of get

(12:15):
the gist of the story. But yeah, hundreds of Beavers
was a lot of fun. Okay, hey to current like
movie news or wrote a couple of things down. Ridley
Scott says that he is pretty much done with Aliens.
He said, we're just going now. I think I've done enough,
and I just hope it goes further, which I am

(12:38):
firmly okay with because I'm probably I'm less of a
Ridley fan than most Alien fans. I don't credit him
too much to the franchise as everybody else, because he
hasn't written a single one of them. I know I'm

(12:59):
being picked and I'm being a snob here, and I apologize,
but he hasn't written Like he didn't write the first one.
He just like he he kind of crafted the world
that we have, and then of course he came back
for Prometheus and Covenant, but and Prometheus is genius, but
he I don't believe he wrote it. So I credit

(13:22):
more to the people who were writing these movies and
creating this lore and continuing this great legacy. Especially fed
Over is most recently doing Romulus, where he completely respected
the world. But he just he kind of put it
like he made a really gnarly movie, and I think

(13:43):
it fits perfectly into the world of Alien, especially now.
And I do I know Ridley had had multiple conversations
with Vedelvers, and fed Alvers definitely respected Ridley's ideas on
what they were doing with the movie and where Fede

(14:05):
wanted to go, but I definitely think that like the
future will be fine of Alien without Ridley Scott. You
make very entertaining movies. I will say that I'm in
Gladiator's fantastic. Even Gladiator two is very good. You've made
a lot of great movies. But like you you do,

(14:28):
you find really good scripts. So that's where I am
hit me with a comment. If you disagree, I'm definitely
willing to hear your argument. Apparently there's already a sequel
set for twenty eight years later. We haven't even seen

(14:48):
twenty eight years later. If you have a chance, you
should watch your copies of twenty eight days Later and
twenty eight weeks later. They I don't know if I
think twenty eight days Later is now available for purchase
on vod I don't think it was for a while.
But if you do have your copies, now is the

(15:09):
time to prepare yourself for twenty eight years later, which
looks from what I can tell, fantastic. Aaron Taylor, I
know Aaron Taylor Johnson is in it, and that's about it.
But apparently Killian Murphy is not set to appear in
twenty eight years later, but apparently in the sequel, in
the second movie, The Bone Temple, so that'll be interesting.

(15:34):
It's a weird that they didn't get him for this.
I think they had plenty of time. I think they
probably could have worked around his schedule. This movie took
a while to make, but great. I'm really happy that
Killian Murphy will return to the franchise. I remember seeing
this movie twenty eight days Later in theater, and it

(15:56):
really literally changing my life. It's one of the those
movies I credit twenty eight days Later in like movies
like seven that really changed my perspective on movies. And yeah,
I look forward to this. I have no expectations and
I'm sure I will enjoy it just fine. Uh. Maybe

(16:20):
I'm annoying as a as a movie fan, but I
I just try and enjoy movies and I try try
not to hate anything. I'll find. I'll find the good.
Mark Hamill apparently has no interest in appearing in future
Star Wars projects, which good for you. I mean, I

(16:41):
think that Star Wars fans definitely need to I think
there are there are a great deal of them who
have kind of grown with the series and understood and
and and allowed the lessons of the the series to

(17:01):
affect them in the correct way. Where Empire bad so
and we've had great stories, especially I don't watch them,
but from what I hear, and Or is fantastic. It
just ended completely. Because if you want to see the
sequel to and Or season one in season two, you

(17:22):
should watch Rogue one. It's fantastic. I have not watched
and Or. I should. I actually really like Diego Luna.
I have liked him for a long time. He's in
The Terminal, which I really enjoy too, and I loved
him in that. But yeah, I think that the like,
it's a universe. Man, you don't have like you set

(17:44):
yourself up in such a giant, giant like planet hopping universe. Man,
explore the universe. You don't need Luke Skywalker anymore. He's done.
Let the memory like, let's discover other parts of the universe.
There's I'm sure there are other great people. He'd probably
tell you so too, But yeah, I love Mark Hamill.

(18:07):
I don't really particularly care about Star Wars that much,
but I respect the hell out of Star Wars, but
it's not for me. Love Mark Hamill. I've seen those
first movies, those original movies once and that's probably all,
probably only time I'll ever watch them. And Mark Hammeill

(18:30):
is great. I'm happy he's also moving on. I'm a
horrible person, all right. Current TV. Let's talk about current TV.
There's not a ton. There's not a ton of current
TV right now, but let's get in some headlines. There
was the Toadums, which is the dumbest upfronts I've ever heard,

(18:56):
just like, Okay, I have this toxic to thing about me.
I think it's toxic. I it's not really probably not.
Whenever I turn on my TV, and I don't use
Netflix very often, but whenever I turn on my TV
because I'm on YouTube, I'm on Hulu, I use Peacock,

(19:21):
HBO Max now because it's back to that. But there's
not a ton of stuff on Netflix, like I'm watching
it right now because I am watching some Hitchcock which
I watched Psycho and that's fantastic old news. I don't
know if I brought that up to Nick. I don't
know if we covered that last week, but yeah, man,

(19:43):
Psycho so was so good. Anthony Perkins, the scene where
he takes Janet Lee back to the parlor and they
have the conversation and like she's eating a sandwich and
he's just it's so well done. I think those like
he feels lived into that role. And yeah, Anthony Perkins

(20:07):
is so good. It's gantly so great in that movie.
But also the suit that janetly her her boyfriend, the
suit that he's wearing at the end. I love that suit. Sorry, yeah,
so oh yeah, my toxic trait. Whenever I turn on Netflix,

(20:30):
I mute it because I hate the noise. For some reason,
I just hate it, and it what I call it
is if I ever hear I'm like, oh man, I
can't even remember what I even say. I'll get back
to it. My bad. Wow, that's such a terrible that's

(20:54):
horrible podcasting. I don't let it get me or something
like that. I don't let for some reason, I just
don't like listening to the Netflix noise. The toadum, I
hate it. I did not watch it because I do
not watch trailers really much. I did watch a little
bit of the breakdown for Stranger Things season five, which

(21:14):
I am very much looking forward to. Big Stranger Things
fan Steve is probably one of my favorite TV characters
of all time. I think the babysitter is the best.
He's my Scoops, part of my Scoops team with Robin.
My first like one of my top things I have

(21:36):
up above me is I've got Nancy, Robin and Steve
as they like in their battle gear about to take
on Vecna with the shotgun. And it's one of my
favorite scenes ever. But Steve, Steve is my favorite character.
I love Robin, I love Nancy, but Steve is just
one of my favorite characters ever. I did watch a

(21:58):
breakdown of the season five, didn't retain a single bit
of it, but I had it on in the background,
and I very much look forward to it and do
think it's very stupid that they are releasing it in
three parts. November twenty sixth decept like Thanksgiving, Christmas in

(22:23):
New Year's What are you doing? I mean, I know
we're going to be home, but why are you Like?
I mean, luckily, I don't have like like close family
that we are celebrating with. I live with my sister
or we've lived together for a long time. We have
our system. But it's just weird. I will watch them

(22:44):
multiple times. I'm happy it's ending because like I like
when like the show doesn't indeed be that long. And
if I think five seasons is great, I cannot, you know,
wait for it to be over, gay wait to watch it.
I'm about to restart my rewatch right now. My sister

(23:08):
and I are finishing up on our Parks rewatch, and
we'll have plenty of time to Actually we might want
to push back on the rewatch of Stranger Things, just
because now the first part November twenty six, I want
to give ourselves. I want to say, probably August I
should start that rewatch, just like you can take your
time late August, late August. I really now that still

(23:32):
even feels like September. September feels like a good time
to restart Stranger Things. Just give youself two months late September,
give yourself two months to watch four full seasons, which
isn't that bad. Like that you can easily retain that
it's not like a burden. And yeah, I really look

(23:54):
forward to season five. Stupid that it's being released. Like that,
We got our Harry Potter cast, which is really cool.
We got like I believe we've gotten some sprinkles of
like other castings right now, and the only person I
can really retain right now is Nick Frost. But we
got our principal cast, which are Harry, Hermione, and Ron,

(24:21):
which is very cool. We have Dominic McLaughlin who is
playing Harry Potter. I don't believe he has any credits.
He has one and I don't know what it is.
So we have Dominic McLaughlin as Harry. We have Arabella

(24:44):
Stanton as Hermione Granger, she also has no credits, and
then we have Alistair Stout as Ron, who also has
no other credits. I'm excited for these kids. I hope
they are protected very much so, but we have I
hope a good crew around them, which Dan I believe

(25:07):
that's what Daniel said that he hopes for this new
cast because he I don't believe he's going to contact Dominic,
but I believe he well, I don't think he said.
I'm not going to say what I'm going to tell him,
but I'm sure I'm going to speak with him, and
I'll keep that private to myself, which totally understandable. But

(25:31):
I'm sure Daniel do right by a Dominic. I hope
Emma reach out reaches out to Arabella. I hope Rupert
reaches out to Alistair. What a British name right there too,
Alistair Stout. That's so Prittish. But of course you have
John Lithgow as Dumbledore. You have Janet McTeer as McGonagall,

(25:54):
you have Papa as you is, you Do as Snape,
Nick Frost is Hagrid, we have Paul Whitehouse as artist Filch. Yeah.
So I hope the these actors take care of them,
but also the crew. I think that was what was
most consistent for Daniel in them and how they really

(26:18):
felt protected on set. So I'm happy for these kids.
I look forward to what they're able to do. It
sucks that whatever this is is going to benefit JK.
Rowling because she's a horrible person. She really is. God,

(26:40):
it's so so disappointing how how such a terrible person
she's become, or maybe she's always been, but she has
so much influence now and it really sucks that these
really terrible people and such a great influence. It sucks.
But yeah, I hope these kids are protected. You have

(27:03):
to talk about them. I know, I mentioned Jonathan Joss earlier.
We did get a trailer or I guess the opening
credits of the New King of the Hill revival, which
does look great. It's set a little bit into the
few like more current time, which is exciting. I know

(27:26):
Bobby is a chef, I believe. I guess he moves
back to Arlan along with Peggy and Hank, who apparently,
according to the synopsis, moved to Saudi Arabia to work
in propane. And somebody said, somebody made the greatest comment
watch Peggy Hill come back being able to speak perfect

(27:48):
Arabic but still being a terrible Spanish speaker. Unfortunately, we've
lost a lot of people from that show, including Jonathan
Joss who was John red Corn. Of course, we lost
Brittany Murphy, we lost the actor who who voiced Lucky.
We got we lost I believe, Chuck, Me and Jony.

(28:11):
If I'm missing anybody else, I apologize, But yeah, that's
our TV news. Hey, you know what, let's talk about
a little bit of w W. I didn't get into
any a W this week. The worst thing that came
out I believe it was either Saturday or Sunday. Our

(28:33):
Truth was basically released, his contracts not being renewed, and
I guess it was it had expired and he was
just on SmackDown and he had like such a standout
scene on SmackDown where he talked to uh Cobb and
this is your nephew or your son or something too

(28:54):
solo and like it was so so funny. And of
course he was on Saturday Night's main event against John Cena.
He has like the top selling tea shirt on WWE
shop let Go, which really sucks because everybody loves Our Truth.
Everybody respects Our Truth. Whenever their releases throughout the year,

(29:19):
nobody got any kind of response quite like Our Truth's
release did, which tells you just how much everybody loves him.
Who doesn't love Our Truth? He's he makes every segment
that he's ever been in better. He's never missed. I'm
sure he's missed, but he rarely misses. And it's such

(29:39):
a shame that he's gone. Yeah, it really sucks that
Our Truth is gone. That's that's that's the moral of
the story. It sucks with John, our Truth is gone.
Also another beef I have right now, Finn Balor hasn't
won a singles match in a calendar year. Finn Baler

(30:04):
is one of my favorite wrestlers. I love him. He
hasn't won a singles match in over a year and
he's only won three singles matches in the last two years,
which is sucks. I know he's technically like he's Judgment Day,
so he's like for a while him and Damien held

(30:26):
the tag team titles and like they their title ring
kind of reminded me of that like the Colognes back
in like the early too, like in the late twenty
two thousands, maybe early twenty tens, where like it didn't
feel like we had champions, but like we had champions,
but they were just like who were to the champions?

(30:48):
Of course there is Judgment Day, like they just held
them too long that like you forgot that they were
champions because they were great. Finn Baler and Damian Priest
were such a great tag team that it just like
it felt natural, like why why wouldn't they have the
tag team titles? And then of course like JD McDonald's
been a part of that tag team title reign. I

(31:11):
don't know if Dom has been a part of the
title reigns. I don't think he has. I know he's
Icy title champion right now, which I would love to
see him in AJ styles be added to the card
for money in the Bank, but I doubt it will.
But one of the like there are good than bad
things happening right now, especially with Finn Balor because like,

(31:34):
of course he's losing and that really really sucks, but
his story right now is also involved with Roxanne Perez,
where she like he's helping her and she's helping him.
And I think if Finn were to drop away from
the Judgment Day and and pair with Roxanne, I think

(31:55):
that'd be like a possible good move that we go
with because they're clearly working really well together, and I
think they could match up against the Judgment Day, like
you could have Finn versus Dom and Raquel or Live

(32:16):
versus Roxanne and Finn. I think that'd be great. Stephanie
Vicker debuted this week on Monday Night Raw, which was
really cool. She she got this great entrance, My god,
what an entrance. They gave her a lot of pyro
or maybe maybe that's a one time thing, maybe that's

(32:36):
all the time. She is really great. She is such
a solid, like smooth wrestler. It's really impressive. But she
had a money in the Bank qualifier match against Ivy
and Isle and Live Morgan. Of course Lived Morgan look great.
Ivy Nile looks good. She's such a good worker. She's
she's she's really proven. She's going to like, like these

(32:58):
bumps and everything right now are going to be a
warded later. I think she's gonna do really good. Uh
because I mean you look back and like, Live Morgan
was part of the Riot squad and and like she
wasn't like a like a top person and neither was
the Riot squad, And I like, I liked the Riot Squad.
I was a big fan of Ruby Riot and look

(33:20):
at where to Live is now. Live is one of
the most respected wrestlers on the planet right now. So
uh yeah, small beginnings can can lead to great, great
great things, and Live Morgan is like the poster child
for that right now. Uh So, Ivan Nile I think
has a great future, especially if she is able to

(33:42):
stay with the company for a while. But yeah, her
versus Stephanie versus Live was a great, solid match. It
was probably the best match on the card technically uh
on raw but uh Stephanie vacuur h one. She advanced
to the money in the make ladder match, which is

(34:03):
really interesting because we've got the three brand new call
ups Roxanne, which who I just mentioned with Finn Daller, Roxanne,
Stephanie Ker, Julia, Naomi, Rhea Ripley, and Alexa Bliss, which
I would love to see Alexa Bliss win it. Who
I really want to win is Naomi. I think Naomi

(34:26):
would be fantastic because it wouldn't be far fetched to
put the title on on Bianca anytime soon and have
Naomi just ruined that for because Bianca just returned to Unsmackdown,
so it's good to have her back. But that's the

(34:48):
reason why I think Naomi is not gonna win. I
think if anything, Bianca could interfere in the ladder match.
Now we could get really close and Bianca would interfere.
I don't know if that would work for her character
because people like Naomi right now, especially right now, but
I mean Bianca is almost always over. I don't know,

(35:09):
Like I have a hard time with her being a
heel just because like she's so good. She's like one
of my favorite wrestlers. But yeah, it'll be interesting. I
wouldn't be surprised that they put it on one of
the new girls just because they want to. I would actually,
I think the best of the three. To put it
on would be to be put it on ro Sande.

(35:31):
But I don't know where you go with that, because
Roxanne really pairs well with EO Sky, But that rivalry
doesn't work for me right now, I don't. I think
EO has a great rivalry with Live, and then you

(35:53):
can get Live. I mean I would it sucks like
I'm thinking in the future, but Live takes the title
off of EO and then almost immediately Roxanne takes it
over just a way to get Roxanne the title. And
I've been hearing like reports that Triple H hates the
Money in the Bank title match and is that uh
and is thinking about getting rid of it altogether and

(36:15):
just having it sometimes on WrestleMania when it calls for it,
which I would, I wouldn't mind. Uh. But Money in
the Bank has become such a good pay per view
because you get like two really great ladder matches with
like a lot of performers. So I like, uh, but
I get it, uh, And then he let's talk about
the men's money in the bank see him. Punk was

(36:37):
obviously in a qualifying match with with El Grande Americano
and AJ Sales Styles. It was a good match kind
of shorter, I mean, but you kind of expect that
with the punk match, because why why have him mixed
it on a Monday night Rods. It's not personal or anything.

(36:59):
It's just like, think think logically, he's older on the
roster and it's TV. I let him go off on
pay per reviews or premium live events. But yeah, I was.
I didn't think see him like, you're not gonna put
se him punk in a a six minute ladder now,

(37:21):
like the same thing with aj styles. You're not going
to put those guys in a ladder match right now.
You're gonna put some I say young, but it's not
like young. Nobody's really young. I think Solo Soco is
the youngest in the in the ladder match and the
money in the bank because Andrade also qualified on SmackDown.

(37:43):
So you have Andrade, you have El Grande Americano, you
have Solo Socoa, l A Knight, Pinta and seth uh.
So it's not there's one somewhat spring Chicken and then
maybe Pinta Pimp is just like Durable. I don't know,
like I'm excited to see him in this money in

(38:04):
the Bank ladder match. But yeah, you're not gonna put
like Hi Styles is close to retirement, you're not gonna
put him in a in a money in the bank
ladder match. Uh same, same goes with Punk. So they'll
find their way. I'm sure, Like I'm sure they'll get
on the card every once in a while. I'm sure
they'll be on TV. But I mean El Grande Americano

(38:27):
being on like somebody floated I believe it was cultaholic
just because Triple H. I'm speaking so weird right now.
Triple H apparently doesn't like the money in the bank,
So just have El Grande Americano because he's facing off
against uh l Eo Delva VI Kingo in Triple A

(38:52):
in it like I think this weekend, and have El
Grande Americano just cash in on him just to get
rid of the briefcase, which I would hate for that
to happen, but if it does. Culton hollic they called it,
but I did. I floated something a couple of weeks
ago where I believe I said, you should have Chad

(39:16):
Gable and El Grande Americana be both on raw and
on Triple A's like weekly events, and just have El
Grande Americano just beat this great heel down in triple A,
and him should still have to show up for Monday
Night Raw and just be constantly exhausted each week just
because of the travel, even though it probably be the

(39:38):
same amount of travel that he normally does. But I
think it'd be great. I think Chad Gable would be
great at that because he's such a good, smarmy like
American heel. And then, of course, like this upcoming weekend
is money in the bank, so you have Cody and
Jay versus John Cena and Logan Paul. I think this

(40:01):
one's pretty easy. I think you let Logan Paul and
John Cena win just their heels. It's l a. I
think that's the better option, just because that's gonna be
a pretty vocal crowd, and you gotta let them get mad.
You gotta let them like, because everybody wants to cheer
for for Cody Rhodes, everybody wants to everybody loves to

(40:23):
yeat for for ju So and it's gonna be an
amazing entrance. It's gonna be such an amazing entrance. But
nobody is playing such a good heel like John Cena
right now. You like you're like, God, he's so good
at like this, I he sucks, it's so good. Uh,
and then everybody hates Logan Paul and that's like real Kate.

(40:46):
So sorry, Okay, yeah, if I if I were to,
I'm gonna let's give some predictions because I'm going to
talk about the last match on the card here in
just a second, just because it's one I'm looking to
the most, even though I hate the stipulations. It's really
kind of stupid. Okay, Yeah, I think Sena and Lologan

(41:08):
Paul win that match against Josu and Cody Rhoades, just
because like it doesn't matter, Like this loss doesn't hurt
Cody Rhoads, it doesn't hurt Jayu. So it sets up
that like riding on the wall for Jayu. So but
it doesn't hurt them technically, even though I just said
the writing's on the wall right after that does hurt him.

(41:29):
But sorry. And then the Men's Money in the bank
ladder match, I honestly think that it should it's gonna
go to Seth. I think it's probably the best option
for the future. I don't think Andrade really has I
think he like, dude that guy has had a history
of really good money in the bank ladder matches, especially

(41:50):
with Finn Bauer. I look back on that like that
ladder spot. It's fantastic those who are fantastic. I don't
think it's gonna be Andrada. It could be El Grande Americano.
As I mentioned before, I love Solo. I think he's great.
I don't think it's gonna be Sola Sacoa. It could

(42:11):
be l. A. Knight, And I think that's probably who
you should put money on, is l. A. Knight, because
I think it makes sense, like eventually you're gonna put
the strap on L. A. Knight, And I think he
do really good with the briefcase. I don't I think
it would really suck for him to have to carry
that around. But yeah, I think L. A. Knight is

(42:36):
probably who should put your money on. Hinta is gonna
be cool. It would be cool. But I think he's
gonna win organically. I think it's just he's gonna get
the mid cards. And I think in a couple of years,
like whenever he gets closer to his contract, he'll he'll
get the strap, He'll get the big one. Seth makes
a ton of sense. It really does, especially with Sammy

(42:56):
Zay this past week. If you look up that gift
of him dancing to jay USO's entrance this week, it's fantastic.
It's even on Sam's a and even retweeted it's fantastic. Yeah,
Seth makes complete sense, especially with story that's happening right now.
But I think the best money would be to put

(43:17):
it on l A. Knight and El Grande Americano. I
think should have third best odds women's money in the
mad Ladder match. I think. I think I said earlier,
I think the best person to put it on is Stephanie.

(43:39):
I would love for Naomi to get it. That's who
I want the most to win, just because I like dude.
She's on a roll. I think Naomi would be cool
getting the women's title again, and I would love to
see Alexa Bliss have a chance at it again. I
think if we're here, he'd definitely say Rhea Ripley, which

(44:02):
makes sense, but she doesn't really need the money in
the make briefcase to win a title. She's able, like
it always makes sense that she would be in the
in the title scene, so she doesn't need the money
in the make ladder titled. She doesn't need the money
in the bank briefcase, so I think the best person
to put it on. Though I always say this, like

(44:25):
I always say this, it'd be such a burden to
have to carry around that briefcase. So I'm sorry, Stephanie
Veker Vecher that you are going to be carrying her
on that briefcase. Hopefully not for long. Man Eo Sky
versus Stephanie would be the thing is I like a

(44:46):
a money in the bank on a heel. I really
like it on a heel. I know I said La
and Night earlier, and he's definitely not a heel. I
don't know if he has the possibility of being a
heel in the next year. I think he's too far over.
But I think women's I think. But Stephanie's not a heel.

(45:10):
I think she's a tweener. I think people love her,
but she's not like she's She's kind of in between everybody.
So I'm not sorry that I think you're gonna get it.
But I think the person who would work the best
is Roxanne because she is a heel. If if you're
gonna go with one of the newer girls, like I said,
who I'd want is Naomi because I think especially with her,

(45:33):
Bianca and Jade dude, eventually you could get that title
off of Tiffany Stratton and then have a triple threat
with those three. I think it'd be fantastic. It's like
they have so much, like they've built so much good
history already. I think that like, if you could build
upon that right now, if you can build the bricks

(45:55):
to that title match, that triple threat title match with
those three girls, man, I think that's money. I'm just
a big like Bianca. I think is like Live Morgan
is my favorite, but Bianca is damn up there uh
so and anything. And I always loved Naomi. I mean

(46:19):
like she I remember when she got when the Women's
title against I believe Alexa Bliss in Miami at WrestleMania.
That was a cool moment. I felt the glow. So
that's that's probably why I want Naomi to win. I
don't know if they're going to do it, but I
want Naomi to win. I would also love Alexa to win.

(46:39):
But if we're going to get one of the newer girls,
it's gonna be Stephanie uh oh. Javon Evans did uh.
He kind of debuted on SmackDown. I don't know if
he's gonna be a SmackDown wrestler, but he is my
first favorite NXT wrestler. But he was in a match
with Brave Phoenix and a and a qualifier, I believe it,
and Darda won. But all right, last thing, I'm going

(47:00):
to cover the Becky Lynch versus Lyra Valkyria. It was this,
this story gets more and more interesting every week because
it was it got really kind of real last week
where it felt like a shoot, and this week, Becky
Lynch does a like recorded bit I believe, I believe

(47:23):
it was recorded. It might have been just backstage where
she addressed Lyra and and like a couple segments later,
Lyra goes out to the ring and like calls out
Becky and it just didn't feel like it didn't really
feel organ like. It felt kind of like pipe bomb era,
like little like the the the patients are running the

(47:49):
asylum kind of thing. That kind of felt like that.
That's probably not a good analogy, but whatever, you know,
I can't articulate what I want, but yeah, she called
her out and they got personal again and it's it's

(48:09):
gonna be a fight on on Saturday, and I really
look to it. Uh. If if Lyra wins, Becky can
never compete for the brand new Intercontinental title as long
as Lyra holds it, which I mean it's a brand
new title, it's fine. Uh. And if Becky wins, Lyra
has to hold a raise Becky's arm and victory, which

(48:35):
is it's I mean, I guess if that's something that
Becky really wants. Uh, it's a it's a bit of
a silly gimmick. It's for a match. So I look
forward to the matches. The it's besides the ladder matches,
and I know there's only one other prepared match on
the card, which I don't look forward to really, especially

(48:57):
after ron Cena got released. Yeah, I really look forward
to Becky versus Lyra. They're both good at the wrestle. Hey,
I want to thank you if you listened to it
this week. I just love TV, I love movies, I
love wrestling. It's it's been a good time. I'm sure
