because Nick hasn't something that he does every year that
he is currently doing right now. I'm not going to
get into the specifics because that's up to him. But yay,

it's been another week of movies. Today is July eighth,
twenty twenty five, and let's talk about some movies. Man.
Obviously we're going to talk about some TV, a little
bit of TV, not a lot of TV, and then
some WWE, of course, because that's what we talk about.
But I want to talk about Okay, Obviously, this week

Superman comes out. I have my ticket for it on Thursday,
so on the tenth. I'm very excited to see it.
I look, I trust James Gunn. I'm not like a
James Gunn like obsessive kind of person. I'm not really
obsessed with anybody's really were like maybe Girramo del Toro,
but I am very excited for this one. I like

David Korns, but I like Richel. Oh my god, Brosnahan,
big fan of Skylar Gazando. As this podcast is very
we're stands of Skyler Gazando. I don't think we're stands
for anybody except for Skylar Gazando bn Ben, But I

can't wait for it. It should be good. Nicholas Holt
is a fantastic actor. I really can't wait to see
what he does as Lex Luthor and what this movie
really is gonna be because this is the first James
Gunn DC Universe movie, so this is his establishment, and

I that he really kind of has to, like I'm not,
I don't want to put a ton of pressure on him.
I mean, but I'm sure he's feeling a ton but
he's really gonna nail it. I hope he does. I
believe in him it'd be it'd be great. And also,
I mean, why would I root for a bad movie

like these? Can't. I can't wait for this movie. This
is like a tent pole of Warner Brothers. Like I
recently just watched Superman the movie and it's fantastic. You
should too, It's really good. I so I haven't watched
Superman two, but I was literally just listening to how
did this get made? Of course, because Superman's coming out
this week, they put out Superman their episode of Superman

for the Question for Peace, which was written by Christopher Reeve.
So it's been a lot of Superman lately, and we've
been talking about it on here Nick for some reason,
like like he's seemed trepidacious about it the last couple
of weeks. I think he's just nervous about it. But

I'm I'm trying to be excited for him. Maybe I
really do look forward to to seeing this just because
it looks great. People who are complaining online about like
his face when he's who, like why are you? Why
do you care so much? Why do you care so much?

It's so weird to me, But yeah, I can't wait
to see Superman. We can still talk about movies that
are currently topical. I went and saw F one again
in between the time that we spoke last, which was
on the on the first I have seen it again.

I've also seen Jurassic World Rebirth again in theater, so
I can confirm that F one is great. Hell, I
might see it a third time if I can find
an IMAX screening of it again, Like they're just like
I saw a Lada Battle Angel like right here. I
saw this movie three or four times in theater just because,
like it was playing on the Imax, and like, I

worked right next to the theater at the time, so
it was just literally I'd get off work and I'd
have enough time to just go catch a show and
I would and I honestly I would do that. I'd
do the same thing for f one. So I'd see
it again. And I like I saw Like I said,
I saw Durastic World again. I believe I saw that

on on July fourth. That was just good time. I
wanted to see it again. The I'm still a big fan.
I still really like this one. As far as like
Jurassic World movies, this is if they're going to continue
to make them, this is a good one. People who
are complaining about some certain moments of the movie like this,

this one's not bad, like I I of course, every
every single one of these movies has to like be
a little far fetched. This one doesn't really have too
much of like the legacy like dinosaurs in it. There
are there, there is the t Rex, and that's a
fantastic scene. It really is such man it. Go go

see the movie specifically for the t Rex scene. It's great.
I was talking about this and I like the fact
that this movie doesn't wholly rely on raptors like uh,
like the first Jurassic World did and fallen Kingdom and Dominion.
They they were so reliant on on Blue and all

those other raptors. This one has two raptors in it,
and they are ushered away very quickly because we've seen
we've seen the raptors. We've seen like really great raptors.
We've seen really cool raptors. We've seen unnecessary. My god,
Dominion is like the that but whenever they're like they're

going through like that that stone Town and everything and
makes a zero sense. I hated Dominions so much. But
Rebirth is good. Rebirth is a lot of fun. I
really like it. And also last week, I also I
believe I said I should have said I believe Rupert Friend,

but I believe I said another name. So I do
not remember what the name is, but I do believe
I I was referring to Rupert Friend, who I believe is.
But yeah, go see F one if you can, especially
on the biggest screen that you can. It's it's it's
really great. Uh. And then also go see Jurassic World.

It's a very fun like popcorn blockbuster type movie, and
then also to round it out last night on the seventh,
I went to an AMC screen unseen and I got
to see Oh Hi, which I was like, I obviously,
because I don't watch anything, had not heard anything about

this movie. I didn't even know who was in it.
I think I knew Molly Gordon was in it, which
I like Molly Gordon. If you don't know, dude, Shiva Baby,
she's in BookSmart. She's really great in Book Smart. I
always remember her like in that. My introduction to Molly
Gordon though, was I Believe Good Boys, which she's very funny,

and that's her Medori Francis are really fun. But then
also she's in Theater Camp as well, which I also
really liked. I haven't watched am I Okay, but I
do know like I'm not a big Dakota Johnson fan.
I'm like, I'm just gonna choose to like, I'm not
a big Dakota Johnson fan, and I think we can

just leave it at that. So I have not watched
am I Okay, even though it's written by taking the
car taking Nataro. But I like Molly Gordon and Logan Luhrman.
I've been watching him basically his entire life, which is weird.
And I love Geraldine and Nathan. I think she's great.
I've been watching her, like obviously, she was in Miracle

Workers and I think four or maybe five seasons, I
don't remember how many, and then she's she was in
Blockers where John Cena is her dad. So I'm a big,
big fan of Geraldine. Very fun comedy. If you don't know,
it's like, the best way I can describe it is

a would be couple go on a weekend trip to
a really nice house kind of in the woods, and
one of them doesn't quite know that they're not in
a relationship, and I'll just leave it at that. It's
very funny. It becomes a very fun situational comedy. Like

Molly Gordon plays manic really well, that's like, that's the
plightest word I can She plays a little flustered, let's
go flustered. But I love Molly Gordon. She she really
kind of goes off in this movie. Logan Laherman's great.
Like I said, Geraldine, David Cross shows up. I also

really like him, and then Josh John Reynolds is some
very funny scenes with Logan Laherman. I was a big
fan of I was really happy to see this movie. Also,
if you can tell me what the movie centers twenty
eight years later and oh Hi all have in common,

also did like he did Superstore, but in American Auto,
which I'm a really big fan of both of those shows.
If you haven't watched Superstore, you definitely should. In American
Auto two really quick seasons, you could watch that really quick.
But Saint Dennis Medicals really right. Allison Tolman, Wendy McClinton,

Covey the guy from from Jerry Duty, which I just
restarted watching Jerry Duty because he made it like two
episodes in and he's like one of the guys in God,
he's so funny. Oh and David Allen Career. God, I
love David. Everybody loves Dag. If you don't love Dag
like I hope you at least know the name Dag.

Please tell me know the name Dag. David Allen Greer
is is a national treasure. Speaking of National treasures, Keith
David is getting his Hollywood Walk of Fame star. I
do want to say, and it's a great honor. It
really is people who really deserve it have it. I'm

going to leave a little bit of time in between
what I'm talking about and and right before what I
what I brought up, but it is it is your
managers and marketing team who who usually are the ones
who get you that how it's not like a selection committee.

As far as I know, I believe like you pay
for it doesn't mean that not deserving. There's some we're
getting a little early. Keith David long overdue because Keith
David also national treasure. Got He's been in some of

my favorite movies ever. But yeah, Keith David one of
the best. Yeah. So I finished Saint Demni's Medical Man.
That first season is really good. It's nice and tight.
You should definitely watch it. Season two should be really
good too. I have a lot of faith in it.
I speaking of movies that just continue to get TV

shows that continue just to just get better. At an elementary,
just restarted watching it just because obviously the new season
is going to be coming up. Also, by the way,
it's August. It's July right now. The new season of
Stranger Things comes out in November. To comfortably watch the

(12:52):
series before the fifth season starts coming out and it's
three increments, you should probably start watching Stranger Things back
just to watch it comfortably and not like having to rush.
Maybe like mid August, maybe early August, if you really
don't want to rush, because it is four seasons and

it's a lot, especially season four is a long season.
But mid August that's your sweet spot if you want
to watch rewatch Stranger Things or the final season, I
would highly recommend. I'm going to continue to bring it
up just because I really can't wait for that show
to come to an end, just because I really like
the show. Oh Man, speaking of shows that are also

coming to an end, The Boys unfortunately just wrapped, I
believe like three or four days ago from record and man,
it's that I really really like the show. But you
know what, I respect the show that. I mean, we're
still getting gen V but I respect the show so
much that they're just like, Nope, over, that's it, We're

shutting the door. I also, I believe there's a diabolical
but I also like Krypke and and got the entire cast,
Laz Karen Fukuhara, Aaron Murriarty, Anthony Starr, Jack Quaid came out,
remember Frenchy's real name, Colby Benefie, Oh, Carl Urban, Jesse

t Usher, Chase Crawford, Toomer Capone. Man, it's that that
show is so good. I mean, Susan Hayward, she's been great.
I think she just came on in the last season,
but she was great. Valery Curry really happy to see
her back. I didn't really watched her in much since

the following speaking of the first season of the following
is fantastic, Vali Curry. That's where she kind of showed
up on my map. At least, man, she was so
good in that first season. Yeah, you should also at
least watch the first season of that. Yeah, I said,
but you know, all the all the characters are giving
their goodbyes, which I it's it's sad to see, but

you know what. I also respect the just the shutting
the door. Uh so oh and then also Abbot Elementary
is going to be I believe their crossover episode on
the Sunny Side is this week, so you should definitely
watch that. Okay, hey, let's take a quick break and

I'm a little weird right now. Without Nick, I always
feel like I need to have something. I didn't really
watch a lot of SmackDown this past week. Once again,
Nick is the SmackDown watcher. I always watch Oliver Raw.

Nick usually watches all Over Raw as well, but I
definitely catch the beginning of SmackDown most weeks. Uh. I
like the SmackDown roster and everything. It's on Friday, and
sometimes I go see a movie or I go on
a run after I got off work, and so I

don't always watch SmackDown, but I do watch Raw and
Man Bronson bron Breaker is already kind of setting up
an opportunity to leave Seth's group, which still does not
have a name. I think they've been around like four
or five weeks now. They still do not have a name,

which is fine, which is fine, but I mean it'd
be kind of nice to know what to refer to
them as instead of just Seth's group, or maybe that's
the point, but the like the opening promos like with
Seth's Group with Paul Hammond, Bronson read bron Breaker, and

obviously Seth rawlins it was fantastic. I mean, Bronson bron
Breaker Oliver to hell of a promo talking about but
she hates Sammy's saying, which I mean from bron Breaker's perspective,
I guess I kind of get it. I mean, but
I mean, who doesn't like Sammy's ay? Uh? Which it was.

(17:18):
It was a great promo. It was a really good
cut promo. And then Paul Hammon cut a promo on
Penta for Seth in Spanish, which was interesting. It was
it was really cool. I enjoyed that that a little bit.
And then Bronson Reid called out the fact that guy

I have to follow that, but I mean, his promo
is fine, and then Seth just kind of left, Uh,
I mean, where are we going with this? I mean, Seth,
Seth took on Pinta. They he beat Pinta, it was
obviously Shenanigans, but I just I don't. I mean, Beth
Rawlins has the briefcase, but where are we going. I mean,

obviously like he could cash. I mean, it'd be the
ultimate troll move. I mean, it would suck for Gunther,
but to have Goldberg beat Gunther at Saturday night to
main event, I believe that's this Saturday, and honestly, have
seth Rawllins take that off of Goldberg, I'd be perfectly

okay with that. I mean, yeah, I would, yeah, I
would like to see that, and then we can get
a good seth Rawlins versus gun Through match, maybe at SummerSlam.
I'm not sure if there's an already a promised match
up there, but I think that that'd be a good

place to go. I think I think Summerslam's also two
nights in New Jersey possibly, so I think seth Rawlins
versus Gunther for the world title after with seth Rawlins's champion,
and I think that's the best route that we can
go from here, except for except for Gunther just retaining

and just embarrassing Goldberg. But I don't think they're gonna
do that. I think Goldberg's gonna Seth is gonna leave,
He's gonna celebrate winning the championship, and Goldberg's going to
be sitting in the ring and he'll do a ceremonial
leave the boots in the ring. And I think that's
how it as Saturday Night's main event ends, and then
we cut to Seth holding the title up fireworks. Yeah,

I think that's kind of I think that's the best
route that we go here for Seth rawlins, especially after
that promo and then especially after Gunther having to just
deal with Goldberg. Sorry, I just I didn't grow up
a Goldberg fan. I was just never a big fan

of the quick match guys. I think I've always really admired,
like more of the technical guys. So man, the judgment day,
it's funny because we talked about it last week. They
have all the gold, they have both tag team titles
and the Intercontinental yea Intercontinental not us uh and dom

Dom is hurt and he's got he's got a doctor's note.
But just I think they're intentionally trying to make memes
right now because last week with aj Styles and Dominic
with the the glasses and the and the doctor's note.
I thought it was really funny. And then this week
with aj just kind of peeping around the corner, I
thought it was really funny too about Dom and just

Dom just I don't know what his actual injury is,
but just him. He's there. He's there. So I think
it's the best situation that we have right now, especially
with Judgment Day. I mean, because then we got Live
not Live, my God, the Live kind of like memorid.

I mean, Dom did kind of kiss his finger and
and and pat the but I think that's just a
nice touch. I couldn't I can't remember if that was
if that was Finn or if Roxanne put that up.
But it's very funny. Uh put the black with the
black flowers. I really enjoyed that. Uh. But then we
got Roxanne versus Kyrie, And I'm a big Kyrie fan.

Kyrie is one of my favorite wrestlers in general, and
got a great match out of those two. I mean,
Roxanne's already like is a great wrestler already, and Kyrie
is like plays at the level of her competition. She
is a great wrestler. Uh, like one of my like
for like the Desert Island graps on culta hallic uh

my first round pick thing for for Desert Desert Island
graps like five matches that you would take to with
Desert Island. That's the only matches you could watch. Kyrie
Saying versus Shane and Basler at the May Young Classic
Championship I can't remember after what pay per view is
one of my favorite matches of all time. Just the
way Kyrie Saying breaks down Shannon Basler, who had like

kind of mowed through everybody in the tournament, like and
Shana ended up being great and an XC I think
she had. I think she was two time NXC Women's
Championship champion. She was fantastic, but Kyrie broke her down
and it was like, it's just a very impressive match.

Basler versus Kyrie Saying may On Classic, but Kyrie Saying
got the win against Roxanne, which I was really happy for.
I was like, Roxanne, Yeah, it's it wouldn't hurt her

I think it was the right move and then we
got Raquel attacking her after and then we got the
reteeming of the Kabooki Warriors with Oscar, which man, Oscar
is just such a good wrestler, even in just that

That was great. And then Jackie Redmond, this has been
funny online the last day is Jackie Redmond and Scarlet
Whenever I believe Jackie was interviewing Sammy Zay, then all

of a sudden, Scarlett shows up and with obvious cleavage
and Jackie just could not stop looking down at it.
It was very funny. But they've been having a lot
of fun with that online. They're like, it's evolution, we
what do you what do you expect? And then speaking
of evolution, Nikki Billa kind of announced that she's going
to be in a Battle Royal. I believe that's being official,

like set up by Ava from NXT, which interesting. She
was supposed to have a match with with Live and
Raquel with Brie Back, but Live obviously got hurt and
she she's out for a couple of months. But so yeah,

they've had to just kind of figure out how to
get Live Brie. They've had to figure out how to
get Nikky reintegrated into story because they lost everything with
Live like Live was the catalyst that I think the
average fan probably didn't realize what she was. She was

the catalyst of Monday Nightfel. And then we got Sammy
versus Braun, which was short. It was fine, but I
believe we're gonna be missing Sammy for a couple of weeks,
which is fine as well. It makes Braun Breaker look strong.
Sammy gets some rest and time with his family. It

serves everybody. Uh, that's just the way I'm thinking, except
for the fans. I mean, if people want to be
there for to see Sammy, say, that sucks that they
won't see him, but maybe it's a real injury. Uh.
And then we got a backstage segment with with the
New Day and Adam Peers I don't remember. I think

also the war Machine was back there. I believe they
were talking to him first about getting a rematch, which
understandably they deserve a rematch. I like war Machine, but
Kofi and Xavier woulds like in Black Veils, I believe
probably we're holding the same like Black flowers that were

for the live memorial but just completely so emo. It
was so great. It was Uh. And then Becky coming
up and confirming that she's happy that they got rid
of Big Eie, which is the biggest dick move, Like
that's how they keep her heel right now. And then uh,

what are they going to do with SummerSlam? What's what's

Becky's gotta be on the cards, so she either has
to retain or she has to be facing next next month.

like some of my favorite matches, Like it's Lyra. Lyra's
having some of my favorite matches the last like a
couple of week months. She's a fantastic in ring worker,

Bronson Reid might have taken Jay out of committing to

ja Uso out for a couple of weeks. Possibly he
only hit him with two tsunamis, but I mean, man,
could you imagine even getting hit by one? I would suck.
And then El Grande Americano, who has lived big kaiser,
I little little choppy, little sloppy, except he hit that

head butt at the very end against Dragon Lee. That
head butt was really good. I think everything else needs
a little bit of tuning up, but I'm enjoying the gimmick.
I think it's stupid, and I love stupid, and El
Grande Americano from the ground up is stupid. It's the
dumbest gimmick since probably El Lujadoro's from like edgend Christian like.

I mean that kind of in a good way. It's
so dumb that it's like it's perfect in El Grande Americano.
I still believe that my idea would have been fantastic
with with WWE owning Triple A, now that Chad Gable
would go down to Triple A and be the foreign heel,
whereas El Grande Americano would be on Monday Night Raw

and then every once in a while Child would be there,
but he'd always be exhausted because he'd made traveling. I
still think that's a fantastic idea. WWE kind of just

the Lyra versus Becky versus Bailey. There is the four

way Women's Tag Team Championship match versus Raquel and Roxanne
who are the champions, against the Kabooki Warriors and Charlotte
Flair and Alexa Bliss and then Soul Ruka and Zariah
on from NXC, which that's a really they're a tag team.

They've been tagging for a couple months now. I like
so Israah and soular Ruka is going to take the
main roster by storm whenever she comes up. She's a
she She almost has like Bianca bel Air level, like Aura,
like Bianca is like the like I I know Riya

Ripley is like the fan favor right now, but Bianca
I think probably is the star if she if they
pushed her again, Bianca would be the biggest star, one
of the biggest stars in the world. Uh. Sorry, That's
how I feel. J C. Jane is going to be
facing off against Jordan Grace from n x T. I

think Jordan Grace is probably gonna win that because the
winner is going to be taking on Masha Slamovich at
slam Aniversary, which is a t and a pay per view,
which Jordan Grace has history and in TNA and with
Masha slam of it, so it only makes sense that
they'd be depending on It'd be Jordan Grace versus Masha.

I'd love to see j C. Jane Brittain, which is fine,
but I think it's gonna be Jordan Grace, EO Sky
versus Ria Ripley. I'm torn on this one because I
think Eo Sky is a great champion right now, but
I think going into SummerSlam, I think going into New Jersey,

I think they want Ria Ripley holding that strap personally
or she'll win in h at Summer Slam. But I
really think it sucks for EO because EO is really great.
I think I think Rheo takes it this. I feel bad.

I would never actually shouldn't bet on bet against EO.
I've been wrong a lot lately, so I'm gonna go
with Rhea Ripley and hope I'm wrong. I already mentioned
the judgment day that Tag Team Championship, there's a Battle Royale.
There's Tiffany Stratton versus trist Stratus, one of the only Yeah,

Jade Cargill versus Naomi, which is Noah holds barre match,
which I hope is going to be great. I love Naomi,
love Jade, but love Naomi. I love her character right now.
I think it's hilarious. I think it's she's having so
much fun and I love that. And then Becky versus
Bailey versus Irish, So I really cannot wait for this

to be on. It's gonna be hopefully good, I'm more
excited for it than Saturday Night to main event, but
I'll watch them both, all right. Hey, I think I've
probably talked enough. Also, I finally bought my first ever
movie at the Criterion Sale at Barnes and Nobles. Every

once in a while they have a like a half
off sale at Barnes and Noble for a Criterion. I
bought House, which I'm a big fan of. It's like
a Japanese fever dream, like if a bunch of girls
got dosed at a house with a pool. It's like
the best way I can describe it without giving any
kind of thing away. I love it. Also, I've been

watching like I've been kind of sing you the last
couple of weeks because I'll say, like I don't like
this year. Like I've been trying to watch movies I've
never seen before, just because I'm trying to knock movies
off my list. But also I started neglecting like my
DVDs in Blu rays, So I was like, I need
to start rewatching some stuff, like because I had these

for a reason. I want to watch them at bottom
because I like these movies. So I decided, like I
need to stop just searching for new movies to watch,
and I started watching some of my blue rays and DVDs,
So I just want to share a couple of them
that I've watched. I watched Neighbors, which I think is
very funny. It's seth Rogen and Rose Byrne and Zach

Effron and you had me at seth Rogen and Rose
Byrn and I love Zach Efron. Very funny. I think
Nick and I were talking about it last week, but
really liked it watching it on Blue Ray. Then I
watched ready Player one, also on Blue Ray, which is
a It's like, it's the easiest Steven Spielberg movie to

I had watched Jurassic World Rebirth earlier that day, and

situation of two women with the same name being killed
in a couple of days apart, and just this this
chief of this small town police force just kind of
has to figure it out and kind of finds a
