time to get started on your spring garden, and it
all starts with one stop First it ligets applying milk

plenty of sunlight to get things rolling. If you haven't
already decided what to grow in your garden, give it

So what is recycling all about? Recycling saves resources, it
prevents pollution, supports public health and creates jobs. Plainly put,
we are keeping our rivers and lakes clean, our countrysides
and our cities, our roadside schools and parks. We avoid
landfills when we recycle, and it saves money. And best
of all, it's easy recycling.

Our pregame show underway here ninety four point seven. Welk
joined by Tom Walmsley, head coach of Tigerts Valley. So
we go back to Friday night. We had a pretty
nice lead and then it just kind of slipped away.
What did you see on film that kind of led
to the downfall last week?
Speaker 8 (04:19):
Well, I didn't have to watch the film at halftime.
I was not happy at that time. We weren't playing well.
We had a ten twelve point lead in the second quarter,
let slip to six. I jumped them at halftime for
their lack of Day's old play, and we just we
(04:39):
just didn't play hard. It was one of those games
where we beat them by twenty one down at their court,
didn't put forth the effort. Then when we got down
and crunch time, I called two three timeouts and we
didn't do.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
What we wanted to do.
Speaker 8 (04:55):
So it was probably the most upset I've been all year.
We just it's our heads weren't in the game. We
can point to a million different things, but fact is
we just didn't play well.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
So obviously Kayden Moore is still out, Parker Bell's getting
the start, but you seem to get a little bit
of nice bench play. Alex Scott's been coming off the
bench and putting in some good minutes for you.
Speaker 8 (05:19):
Alex, who did have a good game the other night,
and the only reason he didn't play much the fourth
quarter he was shooting too quick. We were and and
but I had that problem with two or three kids
out on the floor. And we're going to talk some
more about that. Tonight, But you know, he's starting to
find his stroke. He he not very many people know,
(05:43):
but he's he's suffered from a little bit of a
nerve damage in his upper body and he's struggled with
it all year. So he's not at one hundred percent.
But we are glad to see him start getting into
the groove a little bit.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
You know, you're also getting some bench time for Adam Woods.
Of course, people are familiar with him running back on
the football team, and man, he's lightning quick.
Speaker 8 (06:07):
He is, but his skills came in behind. He didn't
do much with us this summer and of course fall
he was playing football and so he was behind when
he came in. I told him he was behind when
he came in and I was going to take him
mid season to catch up, and it did. Now he
is starting to get back into a groove. But and
(06:28):
he and I talked a little bit Friday after the game.
He says, confidence still not where it should be, but
that just comes from lack of reps. You just have
to put time in. There's no magic formula.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
So tonight a very good Doddridge County team in here.
Only two losses on the season, they've got some size underneath.
What have you seen on film out of this this
Bulldog team.
Speaker 8 (06:53):
They look a lot like East Hardy, the almost identical
type of kids. Type of player's, big man, good shooters
on the perimeter, So they have that kind of ability obviously.
I think their records sixteen and two or something like that.
You know, they're doing a good job, and I'm hoping
(07:14):
we catch them a little leg weary. They've played four
games the last five nights. This will be their fourth
game in the last five, so I'm hoping we catch
them a little weary. But they look good out here
just walking around. They're bright eyed and bushy tail, and
they're having a great season.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
You know. One of the things we've talked about, and
it's even affected you a little bit here at home,
but this is a little bit smaller court compared to
some of the other venues that we go play. Does
that have an effect on how you play the game.
Speaker 8 (07:48):
It has an effect on us, especially when you have
small guards. If you're quicker than the other team. This
short floor and negates a lot of that because you
can't stretch anybody out if if your guards are sure,
which ours were usually shorter than most other Guardsay, we
(08:08):
have a hard time finding passing lanes because again we
can't spread them out. So this court is actually at
our disadvantage with the type of team that we have.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
All right, there you go, Tiger's Valley, Doddridge County, More

As matter of fact, I talked with head coach Paul
Burns Signe of Doddridge County said his grandmother likes to
tune in anytime his bulldogs are on the radio, so
we'd like to say hello to her and thank you
for listening. We'll do our best to bring you what
(10:57):
we think is going to be a competitive basketball game.
Name as Greg White here in Tigerts Valley, Grand Mixed
Master B Brad Workman, phenomenal producer back at Master Control
making sure we sound as good as we can with
me behind the microphone. Let's talk about the starting lineups.
First of all, we start with the visiting squad the
(11:18):
Bulldogs of Doddridge County. They are seventeen and two on
the season, eight and two on the road, nine to
zero at home. They average about sixty four points a game,
pull down about thirty four rebounds a game, blocks about
three a game, steals just under twelve and thirteen turnovers
(11:39):
a game. They will go like this. At one guard,
it'll be Will Adams. He is a junior averages just
under six points and three rebounds a game. Jared Trent,
a five eleven junior, will be a guard twelve points
three rebounds a game. The forwards are Landon Thomas, the
(11:59):
six to two junior, ten points seven rebounds a game.
Josh de Haven is a junior at the other forward
six points four rebounds a game. And in the middle,
big Jaden Solomon. He is a junior averages eight points
and six rebounds a game, very good shooter at forty
(12:21):
eight percent. So again, it'll be Adams and Trent in
the back court, Thomas and de Haven out on the wings,
and Jaden Solomon in the middle. Doddridge County in a
gray uniform, sort of a dark gray uniform with green
numerals trimmed in a yellow and it says Doddridge. Across
(12:45):
the front of the jersey above the number, there is
a bulldog between the shoulder blades on the back of
the jersey. For Tigers Valley, they are eleven and five
this season under head coach Tom Walmsley. Five and three
here at home, six and two on the road. They
average fifty three points a game, give up fifty two
(13:06):
points a game. They pull down twenty eight rebounds, get
two blocks, steal the ball six and a half times,
and they turn it over just over twelve times a game.
Of course, Caden Moore is still out battling an injury.
They hope they can get him back into practice tomorrow
to see how things go. He injured his knee down
at Webster County about a week and a half ago,
(13:28):
and they hope they will have him on the floor
this coming Friday night down in Franklin. So here's the
starting five gone with the quick lineup again for Tom Walmsley.
At one guard five to six sophomore Parker Bell thirteen
points and two rebounds a game. The point guard five
to seven senior Ian Harris four points, two and a
(13:50):
half rebounds, two assists per game. Avery Ralspinagle the three
guard of five to ten senior two points two rebounds
a game, but they really utilize him on the floor
for his passing ability. One of the best passers in
the area. Out on the way, Kendall Armstrong, five to
(14:10):
eleven senior, shoots forty one percent from three point range
seven and a half points three rebounds game. He has
struggled as of late. Against Notre Dame last Friday night,
Kenda Armstrong no points and Jacob Walmsley in the middle
of the six to three junior leading scorer on the
team at just under sixteen points a game and eight
(14:32):
and a half rebounds against Notre Dame here in a
loss last Friday night, he had twenty two points in
the losing efforts. So again for Doddridge County Adams and Trent, Thomas,
de Haven and Solomon For Tigers Valley, the guards will
be Bell Harris and Avery Rows Spinagle, Kendal Armstrong on
(14:54):
the wing, Jacob Walmsley in the middle. Tigers Valley in
their home whites the white jersey with the red numerals
and the red trim down the side. It says Tigers
above the number on the front of the jersey. It
says Valley below the number on the front of the jersey.
By the way, tomorrow night here at Tigers Valley, Judy Harris,

longtime coach, educator and a PA announcer for Tigers Valley,
is going to be honored here during the girls game
tomorrow night. Love to see you come out. We're gonna

doing the starting lineups. Judy here is what's going on
here tomorrow night with Judy here is talk a little
bit about that. Yeah.
Speaker 18 (18:19):

Speaker 4 (18:32):
Okay, what time is that?
Speaker 18 (18:33):

Speaker 4 (18:34):
Around six o'clock. And I did see you posted her
on social media. If you were one of her former players,
it's a dollar to get in if you're one of
her former players. Is that right? Absolutely? All right? There
you go. See you weren't expecting that, but we just
put her on the air, and your sister is listening.
She just so you know, say hi to Desiree. Right
(18:54):
there you go. All right, thanks very much. That is
the athletic director here at Tiger's Valley, one of the
people in the world, Amanda Belle taking care of us.
So come on out tomorrow night, make sure you honor
Judy Harris. Unfortunately I'll be doing a college gamer. I'd
be here myself. So we're ready to go. Starting lineups
have been introduced. You've got Jaden Solomon out there. Looks
(19:16):
to be about six foot six home probably around two
hudred pounds. That's a big young man jumping center against
Jacob Walmsley. Ball is Skyward Tip controlled by Doddridge County.
They work at the basket to our left. Trent gets
it in the corner here to will Adams, top of
(19:36):
the key to Solomon. Solomon dishes it over to Thomas.
Thomas is gonna stop and pop from about sixteen. It
won't go, but Solomon's there to put it up an end.
He's a big, strong young man to deal with. Two
to nothing. Doddridge County on top Tiger's valley, setting up
(19:57):
the offense, working against the full court press of Doddridge County.
They bounce it in the corner to Avery rals Spinagle
being harassed. There splits a double team quick pass over
falling away Parker Bell. That's an airball rebound pulled down
by Doddridge County. Doddridge has it into the front court,
floating the shot up as Jared Trent no, but he
(20:18):
will be fouled as he went down the right side
of the lane. Foul called on Ian Harris, number one
on him, first team foul and at the line. Jared
Trent to five to eleven junior seventy one percent free
throw shooter on the season. There's two to nothing Doddridge County.
(20:39):
We've played forty eight seconds. First free throw back of
the iron front of the iron and falls away. It
is no good. Score stays two to nothing. He's ready again.
It is up, got it three to nothing. Doddridge County
on top, playing a half court manned man defense. Parker
(21:01):
Bell has it. Got to break the timeline. Now he does.
He's trapped in the corner and he is bumped at
mid court. Foul is going to be called on will
Adams number one on him, and that's what they're waiting on.
Tiger's valley comes down and kind of hovers around the
mid court stripe and as soon as they cross into
the front court, Doddridge County goes into attack mode and
(21:23):
double teams him. Ian Harris has the basketball from Kendall Armstrong.
Got to work it across the ten second line. Armstrong
back to Harris. Harris running out of time. Now he
breaks the ten second line, gets it to Avery Rausepinagle
to Jacob Walmsley in the deep left corner top of
the key to Harris. Double team again. They try to
work it underneath. They fight for the basketball, a tie
(21:45):
up because Jacob Walmsley couldn't hold on to it. It
will stay with the Bulldogs. Six forty two to go.
Opening quarter and Tiger's Valley Bulldogs, I gotta remember that
now a quick release third from Jacob Walmsley. It will
not go. Rebound comes down to Doddridge County. Doddridge sets
(22:09):
the offense, works it here on the near side to
the foul line. They go to Solomon. Solomon hands it
off to the Haven. He drives into the lane, puts
it up. It will not go, and the rebound again
pulled down by Doddridge. They're out rebounding Tiger's Valley fourd
to nothing. Here's a quick drive down the lane. Shot
is up no good by Jared Trent and Jacob Walmsley
(22:32):
gets the rebound outlet pass comes out ahead to Ian Harris.
He lost it. Tried to be saved inbound by Land
and Thomas of Doddridge. It goes out of bounds. It'll
stay with Tiger's Valley six oh five to go. Opening
quarter three to nothing, Doddridge County on top Tiger's Valley's
Ian Harris hazard to Parker Bell on the right wing,
(22:53):
dishes it in the corner to avery Ralsepinagle and he
loses the handle on it. It's another turnover against the
Bulldog's drive all the way in. Jared Trent shoots and
scores two turnovers against Tiger's Valley. It's five nothing. Dodd
reach five fifty two to go opening quarter. We're back
in thirty seconds on ninety four point seven. W elk

Speaker 4 (23:50):
Let's go Bulldogs. Five minutes fifty two seconds to go,
Opening quarter. Doddriach County has exploded to a five to
nothing lead. Tiger's Valley has not even had well. They've
had one look at the basket. Cannot get any open shots.
That defense causing problems. Now here's Parker Bell weaving in
(24:10):
and out of traffic. Bounce pass in the corner to Walmsley,
back out to Parker Bell on the left wing. Bell
looking quick pass over to Ian Harris. They're trapping at
mid court. It's another turnover. Threw it away lead pass
out of head drive shoot score Will Adams. Doddridge County
dominating here tonight. Early on. We've played almost three minutes
(24:33):
and it's seven in to nothing. Tiger's Valley just can't
get any looks at the basket. Touch pass to Kendall
Armstrong Parker Bell left corner three yes, oh, Tiger's Valley
needed that. Seven to three. Parker Bell gets the Home
Bulldogs on the board. Now they go underneath. Doddridge County
working working shot up good Josh to Haven up over
(24:56):
Parker Bell, nine to three, six point lead. Again, that
trapping defense by Doddridge County. It's a one to two
two and it is causing problems. Jacob Walmsley has it
left wing, works it out to Ian Harris. He centers
it up, working against to Haven, quick pass underneath, another turnover,
looking for Avery Rowles spinagle shot driving in is no
(25:18):
good for will Adams. Rebound put back up and in
by Josh de Haven and he's fouled. Foul is called
on Parker Bell. That is his first and up off
the bench for Tiger's Valleys Spinagle and Harris out. Scott
and Woods in Tiger's Valley. Not able to get anything
(25:43):
generated early on. They trail eleven to three. Josh de
Haven at the free throw line, a sixty percent free
throw shooter on the season, and he knocks it down
twelve three. Toddridge County on top. I've got to remember
not to say bulldogs, because they're both bulldogs. Scott gets
(26:05):
it to Parker Bell, weaving in and out of traffic
all the way across the court to Kenda Armstrong, back
to Parker Bell. He's going to fire up another three,
this one off the side of the iron. No good.
They get it to Alex Scott on the rebound, trying
to work it underneath till Walmsley. The ball kicked away
and it's going to be thrown out of bounds by
Doddridge County. Doddridge County managed to take it away from
(26:27):
Walmsley on the rebound and he was on his rear
end and threw it out of bounds, So Tiger's Valley
looking for offense. Adam Woods has it in the corner,
works at to Walmsley, out to Parker Bell top of
the key. Three Yes, Tiger's Valley needs him to heat up.
(26:48):
Now on the other side, Doddridge County tries to answer
with a three from Will Adams quick release, No, and
the ball comes down and knocked out of bounds by
Jared Trent. It'll go to Tiger's Valley twelve six. The
home team in charge. Now, here's Parker Bell another three,
(27:10):
this one offline. You could see it when he let
it go. He's two out of four from behind the arc.
He goes out of bounds to Doddridge twelve six. Doddridge
County with the basketball and the lead three point thirty
to go opening quarter, they work it underneath wide open
Jaden Solomon got in behind Jacob Walmsley, and the big
(27:32):
man for Doddridge County lays it in. Tom Walmsley. A
frown on his face signals the official he wants a
time out. Three nineteen to go. First quarter, fourteen to six,
Doddridge on top of Tiger's Valley. We'll be back in
thirty seconds. On ninety four point seven, w elk.

Speaker 4 (28:32):
Back to Action. Tiger's Valley in bounds it and immediately
turns it over turnover number five of the first quarter.
They work it underneath to Solomon and he goes up
against Aiden Ferris, who's in the game now. Ferris checking
in for Jacob Walmsley and it's a ten point lead
for Doddridge. County. Parker Bell has it for Tiger's Valley.
(28:53):
He drives in, cut off underneath the basket, floats it
to Ferris. Ferris comes out to Scott. Scott throws it
over his head. It's over and back. Six turnovers against
Tigerts Valley. None against Doddridge County two forty four to go.
(29:14):
Opening quarter, sixteen to six, Doddridge in the lead. They
have the basketball, Will Adams to bring it in, looking,
brings it in to Jared Trent. Trent works around the
screen top of the key, working against Bell. Bell swats
it away from him. They bring it out to to Haven.
To Haven drives in, works it into Solomon. Solomon goes
(29:34):
just around Aiden Ferris and takes it to the rack.
Jared or Jaden Solomon eight points. Here in the opening quarter,
it's eighteen to six into the front court. Now Here
is a three from the corner, no good for Adam
Woods rebound pulled down by Aiden Ferris and a tie
(29:57):
up and a turnover. Eighteen to six, twelve point advantage
for Doddridge County. Here in the opening quarter, approaching two
minutes to go into the front court, comes Trent. Trent
to the near side to Heston Hayes just into the ballgame.
(30:19):
They're working over on the left wing. Now they go
to Solomon top of the key on the left side,
to to Haven to Haven drives down the right side
of the lane and he is going to be hacked
in the act of shooting and he will go to
the free throw line. Valley is going to be called on.
Alex Scott number one on him third team foul against
(30:40):
Tiger's Valley with a minute fifty five to go. To
Haven at the free throw line, puts the first one up,
yep to Haven. Now perfect at the line. Two out
of two on the night. It's nineteen to six Doddridge.
Second free throw got them Booth up and good Bryson
(31:07):
Dixon into the ballgame. Now for Doddridge Tigers Valley. Three
starters on the bench. Right now, you got Parker Bell,
Alex Scott, Kendall Armstrong, Aiden Ferris and Adam Woods. That's
your five for Tigers Valley. They work it to Aiden
Ferris at the foul line, looking left wing. Parker Bell,
(31:29):
one of the three. Doddridge County quickly over to defend it.
Twenty to six Doddridge County and the lead Tigers Valley
with the basketball. Alex Scott gets it to Adam Woods
all the way under top of the key. Parker Bell
cut off there. Alex Scott right wing, drives in, floats
it up off the glass and scores twenty to eight.
(31:51):
Doddridge on top. They have the basketball weaving all the
way down. Scoring is Dixon and he's fouled. Alex Scott
picks up fowl number two and Bryson Dixon goes to
the free throw line. Dixon a sixty seven percent free
(32:11):
throw shooter. Blake Mitchell into the ballgame as well. Alex
Scott's out Avery rals Spinagle in twenty two to eight.
Doddridge on top and Dixon at the free throw line.
First one up rolled it in and out. No good.
Aiden Ferris pulls down the rebound for Tiger's Valley. Avery
(32:33):
rals Spinagle into the front court, bounce pass right side
to Kenda Armstrong, quick pass over to Parker Bell A
little low. He had to go down to his shoe
tops to get it. Now he drives around into the
corner works the baseline and he is going to be
bumped and pushed out of bounds. I think that fowl
is going to go against Bryson Dixon or actually Landon Thomas.
(32:55):
Excuse me, Landon Thomas with the first foul on him,
second team foul. Tiger's Valley to bring it in fifty
eight seconds to go twenty two to eight Doddridge County
and the lead. Avery Rals Monagle hemmed in on a
double team. They get it out to Parker Bell, quick
pass to Kendall Armstrong to Aiden Ferris, elbow left to
(33:17):
Kendall Armstrong, Armstrong back to Adam Woods. Nowhere to go
with the basketball. Tiger's Valley wants to go inside at
Doddridge County, trapping at mid court two players. Every time
someone touches the ball. Parker Bell catches it in the
corner and stepped on the end line. Turnover number eight
(33:41):
against Tiger's Valley. We've got thirty seconds to go Doddridge
County with the basketball and a lead. They left the
lane wide open, driving down and putting it up as
Dixon no good rebound pulled down by Doddridge County, ball
taken away, Tiger's Valley's Aiden Ferris strips it. They get
it to Adam Woods with thirty teen seconds. Avery Raw
Spinagle here in the first quarter, Adam Woods has it
(34:04):
left side to Parker Bell. Bell splits a double team,
floats it up from fifteen and he scores twenty two
to ten and that'll take us to the end of
the first quarter. It's all Doddridge County Early. We'll be
back in sixty seconds on ninety four point seven. W elk.

The soundtrack to your weekend with thirty minute music Marathons
ninety four point seven welk.
Speaker 4 (35:31):
It is all Doddridge County. Here. After one quarter they
lead Tiger's Valley twenty two to ten. The home standing
Bulldogs have the basketball to start the second quarter. Out
of Woods works it over on the near side to
Parker Bell in the corner to Kendall Armstrong. Armstrong trapped there.
They go to Aiden Ferris. Aiden Ferris at the foul
(35:53):
and has the ball stripped and taken away ten turnovers
against Tiger's Valley, and then Avery Rausepinagle gets it back.
He passed out a head wide open Kendal Armstrong and
he lays it in twenty two to twelve, leads it
ten for Diddridge. They have the basketball. Mitchell works with it.
Here is the give and go, driving in to Grady
(36:13):
Amodio and he will be fouled. Basket doesn't count, but
he's fouled by Avery Rawl Spinaggle. I think Paul Burnside's
going to use every single player on his roster tonight.
So Amodio at the line. Grady Emodio, the sophomore has
(36:34):
not shot any free throws this year. This year, if
I could say that properly and missed the first one
back of the iron, Maddox Jones into the ballgame for
Doddridge and check me, I said a Modio at the
(36:55):
free throw line, that is Hayes, where's thirteen not twelve?
And may the second one twenty three to twelve. Tiger's
Valley trails they have the basketball. Parker Bell drives in,
kicks it out Avery Rawse Spanagle three, top of the
key comes off the front of the iron. No good
(37:15):
rebound pulled down by Doddridge. County quickly driving all the
way length of the floor is Mitchell and he lays
it in Tiger's Valley, had the lane spread out, and
he just walked right down the middle. Now on the
other side, Parker Bell is going to be bumped by
Maddox Jones at mid court. His first teams first six
(37:36):
point fifty six to go here in the opening half.
It's twenty five to twelve. Doddridge leading Tiger's valley ball
comes in to Parker Bell, catches it at mid court,
left side to Avery Rawsepnagle, back to Parker Bell Bell,
(37:56):
bounce past, kend A Armstrong three too strong, no good.
Another rebound pulled down by Doddridge County now driving in
his haze, puts the shot up. It will not go
and the rebound pulled down by the Bulldogs lead pass
out ahead, Avery Ralse Spinagle cut off works at the
Parker Bell, Parker Bell on the baseline to Aiden Farris.
(38:18):
He drives in and no, but he's fout on the floor.
Missed the shot got fouled on the floor. Bryson Dixon
called for the foul and Aiden Ferris, oh no on
the floor, so he is fouled. Kend A Armstrong Parker
Bell out. So now you've got Aiden Ferris, Avery, Ralse Spinagle,
(38:41):
Alex Scott, Adam Woods and Ian Harris. A quick lineup
on the court. They bring it in to Ian Harris,
left side to Adam Woods, cross court to Alex Scott
top of the key, say work it around, bounce pass
on the near side, Alex Scott falling away from twelve.
He knocks it down. Twenty five fourteen. Lead is at
(39:04):
eleven for Doddridge and they have the basketball near side.
They come with it to Mitchell. Mitchell works around the screen.
Now works on the right side, hands it off to
Bryce and Dixon. They go back to Mitchell, Mitchell having
the ball poked away, but he manages to corral it
and it comes back to Doddridge driving down the lane.
(39:26):
Shot is up. Shot is good for Hayes. Twenty seven
fourteen and a steal on the pass. It is stolen
away by Hayes and he lays it in another steel.
Another turnover, four steals. Now on the other side, here's
(39:47):
Aid and Paris. They found him under the basket wide open.
Let the defenders sky into the air to try to
block it. He was patient and he put it in there.
Twenty nine sixteen. Leads it thirteen for Dondridge. Near side.
They come with it to Jones. Jones hands it off
to Hayes. Hayes works it on the lopo. Shot is
up and good for Mitchell. Thirty one to sixteen. Doddridge
(40:13):
in command here with five minutes to go until halftime.
Tyyards Valley with the basketball left side. Alex Scott names
a three, got a three. Alex Scott's got his range tonight.
It's thirty one nineteen. Doddridge with the basketball and the
Lee now on the other side. Doddridge County turns it away,
stolen away by Ian Harris. Lee passed out ahead that
(40:35):
Adam Woods streaking down the court and he lays it in.
It's thirty one twenty one, leads back to ten, four
thirty five to go until halftime. Doddridge warns a time out.
We're back in thirty seconds on ninety four point seven.

Speaker 4 (41:30):
Keen point lead for Doddridge County with four point thirty
to go until halftime. They have the basketball come to
the near side of land and Thomas. They work it
on the wing to Will Adams, back out to Jaden Solomon,
handoff to land and Thomas drives down the lane, cannot
get it to go, got his own rebound and scored.
(41:50):
Nice job by Landon Thomas, missed the shot, got his
own board. Eleven rebounds for Doddridge County. They lead by
two twelve Avery ral Spinagle has it, tried to go
the bounce pass out to Alex Scott. The ball is kicked.
It'll stay with Tiger's valley. They'll trigger it in to
(42:11):
Ian Harris. He catches it at mid court, works with
it on the right wing again. It's that trapping defense.
Tried to work it underneath the Aiden Ferris. It is
another turnover against Tiger's valley and then Landon Thomas couldn't
hold onto it. He'll turn it off, only turn it
over only the second turnover of the game against Doddridge
County Avery Ralse spinagle for Tiger's valley out Parker Bell
(42:36):
back in. They bring it into the young sophomore works
with it, comes to the near side, bounce past to
Ian Harris. Quick pass in the corner to Adam Woods.
Woods working against Solomon cut off. There it comes out
high to Ian Harris. Harris trapped on a double team.
Ball is poked away, tapped back into the hands of
Ian Harris, splits it goes out to Parker Bell. They'll
(43:00):
had a screen, had a three opted not to take it.
Now out front, they're gonna grab him and foul in.
Josh de Haven called on the foul. That's number two
on the team in the quarter, and with three twenty
eight to go in the first half, it's thirty three
twenty one. Doddridge Tiger's Valley has it and scoreboard dinked
(43:31):
out again. So three minutes twenty eight seconds to go
until halftime. Doddridge County with the lead. Tigers Valley has
turned the ball over in the first half thirteen times.
(43:53):
They average twelve turnovers a game. Doddridge County trapping as
soon when his Tiger's valley comes across that mid court
stripe here's Ian Harris takes the inbounce, pass goes to
Parker Bell, Bell looking nothing inside, gets it back to Harris.
In the corner to Alex Scott. Top of the key
(44:13):
left side. Kendal Armstrong catches, drives in with the floater.
It won't go rebound thought for controlled by Doddridge. Ball
is tipped and no thrown away. Ball is thrown away.
I thought it was tip, the official said it was not.
Turnover number three against Doddridge thirty three twenty one. Doddridge
(44:39):
on top. Ian Harris works it in to Alex Scott,
caught in the corner, goes to Parker Bell. Bell drives in,
kicks it to Kendal Armstrong bounced past to Ian Harris.
Under three minutes to go until halftime. Back to Harris,
looked inside, nothing there. Passed to Kendal Armstrong to Parker Bell.
Bell calls for the screen, gets it now, he'll step
(44:59):
in fire U but three knock adown Parker. Bell's got eleven.
It's thirty three twenty four Doddridge and the lead by
nine bulldogs from Doddridge County have it working to our left.
They get it to de Haven working underneath to Solomon,
(45:19):
and Solomon is going to be found. Aiden Ferris trying
to stop him from getting position, put his fore arm
in the back and gave a little shove. Can't do that,
Aidan Ferris picks up foul number one. Doddridge to inbound
under their own basket. Looking ball is kicked. Coming up
(45:42):
at halftime or recap the first half, get your statistics
and an update for Metro News Sports. That's coming up
and halftime. Working it underneath, Solomon has it, works around
it is no answer for big Jaden. Solomon Walmsley struggled
with him. Aiden Ferris is struggling with him. It's an
(46:02):
eleven point lead for Doddridge County. Now here's Parker Bell
kicks it out. Ian Harris fires a three back of
the iron, no good rebound in the corner from Parker
Bell to Alex Scott. He knocks down another three. We're
coming the other way, Doddridge working it underneath to Solomon.
Solomon off the back of the iron, no good rebound
(46:26):
it to landon Thomas and he drives in and lays
it up. Thirty seven to twenty seven. Lead is at
ten for Doddridge County. Tiger's Valley's Parker Bell splits a
double team, kicks it Kendal Armstrong to Ian Harris, right
side to Alex Scott, back to Harris, back to Armstrong.
Here's the give and go to Aiden Ferris lost a
(46:48):
handle on her on his way to the basket, gets
it to Kendall Armstrong, Armstrong back to Harris. A minute
fifteen to go in the quarter and the ball is
kicked out of bounds. It'll stay with Tiger's one minute
seventeen seconds to go in the first half. Thirty seven
twenty seven. Doddridge County in the lead, Tigrits Valley with
(47:12):
the basketball. Ian Harris works with it for the white
clad Bulldogs in the corner. Tried to go in the corner.
It's poked out of bounds by Lands and Thomas. Tom
Walmsley calls for four out and Alex Scott Smart threw
it off the back of a Doddridge County player, but
(47:34):
nobody there to pick up the ball, so it does
go down as a turnover. Now on the other side,
here's Doddridge County. That's Hayes. He floats it up from
about eight feet away. Thirty nine to twenty seven Doddridge
County on top. Now on the other side, Ian Harris
kicks it in the corner on the deep right side.
(47:54):
They work it underneath to Ferris. No, look past Kendall
Armstrong right waying three. Yes, it's the three point shooting
keeping Tigers Valley in this one. Thirty nine to thirty.
Doddridge County with the lead and the basketball now driving in,
stopping and popping from about six feet away as Jared
Trent no rebound. Carm's out hide a Doddridge County. They
(48:14):
float it to Hayes and he floats it up and
end eighteen seconds to go. It's an eleven point Doddridge
County lead Tigers Valley with the basketball. Ian Harris into
the front court, calls first Green works around it. Now
he's going to be bumped and foul could go against
either Solomon or Hayes. We'll have to wait on the call.
(48:35):
And how about the haven I had. I didn't see
him in the area. Oh, there he was. He was
on the backside. Forty one to thirty, Doddridge County on top,
Tigers Valley with the basketball. They come in the corner
Parker Belle catch release thirty no rebound pulled down by
Doddridge County lead, pass out ahead to Hayes and he
lays it in and that takes us to the end
(49:01):
of the first half. It has been a dominating performance
by dodd Rich County early on. Here. They lead in
this one forty three to thirty. At halftime, we'll step
away for a couple minutes. Come back, get the halftime
show underway. Dodd Rich County forty three Tiger's Valley thirty.

Doddridge County out rebounding Tigers Valley fifteen to six. Tiger's
Valley has turned the ball over fourteen times in the
first half, compared to three for Doddridge County. No steals
for the Bulldogs here in the ballgame fo steals for
Doddridge County, So right now that trapping defense is absolutely
(58:46):
wreaking havoc on Tiger's Valley. Bulldogs not shooting badly from
the floor. They're at fifty twelve out of twenty four overall.
The problem is they're not getting any open looks at
the basket. Six out of thirteen from three three point range.
They have not been to the free throw line. Led
by Parker Bell, He's got eleven points, Alex Scott with ten,
(59:07):
five points for Kenda Armstrong, Aiden Ferris and Adam Woods
have two apiece. Jacob Walmsley, Avery Rowspnagle, Ian Harris have
all played but have not scored, so the Bulldog's going
with their starters from Doddridge County. That said, of Bulldogs
Thomas Adams, trent To Haven and Solomon for Tiger's Valley,
they will go with their starters Parker Bell, Ian Harris,
(59:30):
Avery Raws Spinagal, Kendl Armstrong, Jacob Walmsley, Tiger's valley works
at the basket two our left and they get the
ball to start the third quarter. Parker Bell has it
to Ian Harris. Now they go in the corner to
Jacob Walmsley right side. Walmsley has it, dishes it off
to Ian Harris. Harris back to Kendall Armstrong. Quick pass
(59:52):
underneath to Walmsley. Walmsley was not expecting it and it
is a turnover. Turnover number fifteen of the game for
Tiger's valley. Work it underneath to Solomon. Solomon working against
Walmsley up in and he's fouled. Jaden Solomon. We kind
of talked about him in the game. He's about six
(01:00:12):
foot six, probably two hundred pounds or better. I mean,
he's just a big body in there. Walmsley's a big
man and he's very athletic. But it's six ' three
right now. Solomon just dominating underneath. Free throat up good.
Big man's got thirteen points for Doddridge, it's forty six
(01:00:34):
to thirty. Now here's Tiger's valley again. Another turn overturned.
Tried to quick pass underneath to Jacob Walmsley and it
rolled between his feet. Now right winging here is a
three up and it is no good for to Haven
rebound volleying around, tipped up high and stays with Doddridge County.
(01:00:57):
They get it to Solomon, dishes it off to Haven.
He lays it up, lays it in and he's fouled
by Avery rows spinagle number two on him to Dodgridge County,
picking up right where they left off as they have
extended their halftime lead of thirteen to eighteen with the
Haven at the free throw line. Perfect from there tonight
(01:01:19):
at three for three and I jaxed him sorry about
that he missed it. Forty eight to thirty rebound pulled
down by Jacob Walmsley of Tiger's Valley gets it into
the hands of Ian Harris. Harris to Parker Bell Bell
working on the left wing to Jacob Walmsley top of
the key to Ian Harris. Harris drives in, dishes it
(01:01:39):
off to Walmsley. Walmsley under the basket. Nobody's fouled. It's
what Tiger's Valley has been trying to do throughout the game.
As Jaden Solomon picks up his first, they've been trying
to work it underneath to Jacob Walmsley. If he doesn't
make the basket, he gets their big defenders in foul
trouble and they just haven't been able to find him.
Walmsley at the line seventy four percent free throws shoot
(01:02:02):
to rattles the first one home six forty six to go.
In the third quarter forty eighth thirty one. Tiger's Valley
trailing in this one. Walmsley sinks the second one, make
it forty eight thirty two. Doddridge County into the front court.
Trent works at to to Haven. They're looking underneath for Solomon.
(01:02:23):
It's not there. They come out high to Land and
Thomas quick flash underneath the basket. To Haven has the
ball poked away. Good defense by Parker Bell, who was
chasing him, caught the pass and when he turned to
go to the basket, Bell knocks it out of his hands.
Adams looks to trigger it. In smacks the basketball, looks, looks, looks,
(01:02:44):
floats it out high to land in Thomas. Thomas puts
it into the hands of Jared Trent. Trent drives down
the left side of the lane, up off the glass,
it will not go rebound, volleyed out high stays with
Doddridge County now right wing three on the way. It
is up and good for Landon Thomas. Fifty one thirty two,
(01:03:05):
Doddridge County dominating here in the third quarter, Walmsley gets
it to Parker Bell. Bell drives in to Kendall Armstrong
to Ian Harris works around the screen, floats it up
from six and scores fifty one thirty four, seventeen point
lead for Doddridge County into the front court. Now we've
(01:03:26):
got a bump and a foul. I think that foul
is going to go against Ian Harris. It is, that's
number two on Harris on the floor is the foul.
Fifty one thirty four Doddridge County on top and Landon
Thomas got away from the defender, struck in to the
(01:03:49):
lane and they got it to him on the block
and he scores fifty three to thirty four. Leads back
to nineteen. Here's Parker Bell out to Walmsley. Walmsley drives in.
He's going to be fouled on his way to the basket.
Could be one of two players. If it's against Solomon
it is, that's number two on Solomon and Jacob Walmsley
(01:04:12):
will go to the line fifty three thirty four. Jacob
Walmsley at the free throw line shot up in and
out no good. Five thirty nine to go. Third quarter.
Walmsley ready again, free throw up good. Fifty three thirty
(01:04:38):
five is the score. Doddridge County into the front court.
They working along the baseline, driving hard to the basket,
working behind the screen of Solomon as the Haven and
he picks up the basket. He's got eleven fifty five
thirty five, leads it twenty. Walmsley has it for Tiger's
valley on the left, gets it to Kendall Armstrong to
(01:05:00):
Avery Rowles Nagle. Quick pass on the near side to
Parker Bell watched there by to Haven try to go.
Bounce pass in the corner. Ball is kicked by Doddridge.
It'll stay with Tiger's valley. Kenda Armstrong looks to bring
it in pump fake looking balls kicked again. Landon Thomas
(01:05:25):
last couple of possessions has turned into a soccer player
kicking at the basketball. They throw it right at him.
Bounce pass comes in the corner. Here is a quick
release three bounces in and out for Ian Harris. No
good rebound pulled down by Doddridge County. They work it underneath,
try to go to Solomon and the ball out of bounds.
It'll be a turnover against Doddridge, only their fourth of
(01:05:49):
the game compared to sixteen for Tiger's Valley. We're under
five minutes to go in the third quarter. Jacob Walmsley
has it, drives the bay under the basket, has the
ball swatted and stripped away, knocked out of bounds. It'll
stay with Tigers Valley. See you kind of get the sense.
Tom Walmsley's plan here in the third quarter is to
(01:06:09):
go right at Solomon, trying to get him into some
foul trouble and get the big body out of there.
Kenda armstrong looking looking comes in to Ian Harris, till Walmsley.
Walmsley floats it up, bounces around, hit every part of
the rim before it fell through. Fifty five thirty seven.
Now on the other side, Dondridge County quickly into the
(01:06:31):
front court. Here is a three top of the key up,
no good from Land and Thomas Walmsley skies for the rebound,
rips it down, gets the outlet pass ahead to Avery
Rowsepinagle to Ian Harris. Harris being watched there by Jared Trent.
They work it in the deep right corner. Avery Rowse
Spinagle drives in scoop shot. It's putting a style by
(01:06:52):
Solomon Avery Rouse Spinagle took it to the basket waiting
and then got the bucket and Solomon just picks up
foul number three for Doddridge County. He's got to check
out and gunner Kimball will check into the ballgame. Avery
(01:07:15):
rals Spinagle thirty eight percent free throw shooter on the season.
But again they don't look at him for scoring. They
look at him for his ball handling. But you know what,
we'll take the free throw. He got it fifty five
to forty. Leads cut to fifteen. Doddridge County with the
basketball stripped away. Avery rals Spinagal with the steel takes
(01:07:38):
it away. They work it to Parker Bell in the
corner top of the key. They work it to Kendall Armstrong.
They come to the nearer side. It's Parker Bell works
around the screen. He'll stop and pop from sixteen in
and out. Tough luck miss rebound pulled out high by
Doddridge County right wing. Now they work it underneath to Kimball.
(01:07:59):
Kimball against Jacob Walmsley and no late whistle. He's fouled.
So gunner Kimball fouled by Jacob Walmsley, Number one on Walmsley.
Kimball the senior at the line, six foot two. He's
a sixty three percent free throw shooter on the year.
(01:08:21):
First one up back of the iron No. Three forty
six to go, third quarter, fifty five to forty Doddridge
County and the lead gunner Kimball at the line, free
throat up missed them both rebound tipped around controlled by
to Haven for Doddridge County. They work it out high
(01:08:43):
to Adams. Adams drives in off the glass. It won't
go rebound, pulled down by Kimball and he's fouled. He'll
go back to the line. Foul called on Avery ralse
Pinagal number three on him. So gunner Kimball back at
(01:09:04):
the line with three p thirty seven to go in
the third quarter, first shot up got that one. Needed
those first two to kind of sight it in. I
guess as Kenda Armstrong out Alex Scott back in so
Alex Scott Parker Bell, Ian Harris, Avery, Ral Spinagle, and
(01:09:26):
Jacob Walmsley on the court for Tiger's Valley. Kimball sinks
the second one as well. Gunner, Kimball, Jared Trent, Josh
de Haven, Landon Thomas and Will Adams on the floor
for Dondridge County Tiger's Valley, with the basketball trailing by seventeen.
Here in the third quarter, they get it to Avery
(01:09:47):
Rawl Spinagle, working with it, hands it off to Parker Bell.
Bell drives down, cut off on the left side of
the lane, brings it back out to Alex Scott. Scott
drives in, kicks it off to Walmsley. Walmsley strong move,
floats it up and in fifty seven forty two Doddridge
with the lead and the basketball three minutes to go.
(01:10:08):
Third quarter. Now they work it into will Adams. He
couldn't get it to go. Kimball with the rebound, he
can't get it to go, and the rebound comes down
to Tiger's Valley. Parker Bell right wing free on the
way back of the iron too strong, no good rebound
for Doddridge County into the front court. The Haven's feet
(01:10:30):
went out from under him and he took a step
traveled with it. Turnover number six. Heston Hayes back into
the ballgame for Doddridge County along with Bryson Dixon. Parker
Bell gets a breather. Adam's Woods. Adam Woods into the game.
(01:10:52):
So you've got Woods, Harris Avery, Ralph Spinagle, Scott and
Walmsley in bounds. Pass comes in walms he wants a
left wing three. It won't go. Adam Woods called for
the push off on the rebound. Adam Woods trying to
get positioned to pull the rebound down and he pushed
off two thirty four to go. Third quarter, fifty seven
(01:11:15):
forty two, and that's the fifth team fouls that we
are now strolling to the other end where Heston Hayes
will get a couple of free throws. He is one
out of two from there tonight three dribbles a backspin
(01:11:35):
and he puts it up in front of the iron,
off the backboard and in fifty eight forty two. It
was twenty two to ten Dondridge at the end of one,
forty three to thirty at halftime, and now it's fifty
eight to forty two here in the third quarter. Ready again,
Hayes up, no good rebound Jacob Walmsley for Tiger's valley.
(01:11:59):
Outlet passes stolen away and then stolen right back. Turnovers
it either way. Now here's Avery Ralsepinagal right wing free
hit it fifty eight to forty five, leads down to
thirteen for Doddridge County right wing Landon Thomas working with it,
Avery Rouse Panagal harassed him. They bring it out high
(01:12:20):
driving in shot up off glass. No good for Jared Trent,
rebound pulled down by Walmsley, and he's fouled. Vwl's gonna
go against Land and Thomas number two on him fourth
team foul against Dondridge County and Tiger's valley. Gotta get
it in, gotta get it in. Man demand full cord pressure.
(01:12:41):
They work it in to Ian Harris, got him trapped now.
He quickly streaks into the front court, sets up the
offense top of the key Avery Ralsepinagle right wing hand
off to Adam Woods, left side to Alex Scott jabstep,
tries to work it underneath the Walmsley ball stolen away,
another turnover, quick pass out of head driving missing the
(01:13:02):
easy layup is Jared Trent and on the rebound. It
is Hayes and he's fouled on his way back up.
Vowl called on Ian Harris, number three on him and heston.
Hayes back at the line. Two out of four from
there tonight, he's got two more coming minute forty five
(01:13:25):
to go in the third quarter, fifty eight to forty five.
Doddrich County free throw Hayes up in and out. He'll
get another one. Our next broadcast, whether permitting, will be
down at Pendleton County this Friday night to take on
the wildcast. Hayes ready to go again, puts it up high,
(01:13:48):
arcing shot swished. Now the inbound's almost stolen away and
now it is stolen away. Ian Harris off balance trying
to find Adam Woods and lost a handle on it.
It goes to Doddridge County. It's another turnover for Tiger's Valley.
Doddridge working it now, showing some patience on offenses. Jared
(01:14:10):
Trent drives in, kicks it over on the left side.
It is up, no good rebound to Jared Trent. He'll
put it back up and in sixty one forty five.
Now on the other side, Alex Scott drives in no
but he is fouled, He'll get two free throws he
would have anyway. Foul is going to be called on
(01:14:34):
Bryson Dixon number two on him. So Alex Scott at
the line, an eighty percent free throw shooter on the season.
First one up good Parker, Bell, Kender Armstrong back in
(01:14:54):
Ian Harris Avery Ralspinagle out for Tiger's Valley Blake Mitchell
checks in for Doddridge County. One minute, eleven seconds to go.
Third quarter Alex Scott. Since the second one makes the
score sixty one forty seven, Doddridge County up by fourteen.
They have the basketball working with it on the right
(01:15:16):
wing is Hayes. Hayes being harassed. They work it in
the corner to de Haven come back out top of
the key, driving in as Mitchell floats it up off
the back of the iron, no good. Rebound fought for
controlled by Alex Scott, dished it off to Adam Woods.
Woods too far under the basket, smartly brings it out
of there. Working in the corner, Alex Scott quick release
(01:15:38):
three back of the iron, no good and the rebound
pulled down by Doddridge County. Hayes weaving in and out
of traffic and he lays it in. Sixty three forty
seven is the lead for Doddridge County. Twenty five seconds
to go third quarter. Kenda Armstrong for Tiger's valley into
(01:15:58):
the front court with it on the left wing, hands
it off to Parker Bell. Bell, working against Trent, pushes
it off right side to Kendal Armstrong. He drives in.
He's gonna be grabbed on his way to the basket.
Not a shooting fowl, but he will get two free
throws as Blake Mitchell commits the foul and will send
(01:16:19):
Kendl Armstrong to the bench or to the free throw line.
Not the bench. I said the bench because Aiden Ferris
was up off the bench. So Kendl Armstrong a seventy
percent free throw shooter on the season. Kenda Armstrong ready
(01:16:40):
well got to hold up, got a hold up on
the free throw. I'm not sure what's going on. The
officials coming over talk to Tom Walmsley, and I'm not
sure what's happened. Armstrong ready free throw, got it. Walmsley
gets a little breather. Aiden Ferris back in for the
(01:17:02):
final twelve seconds of the third quarter. Ferris, Bell, Armstrong
Scott and Woods. That's the five for Tigers Valley. Second
free throw, no good, Doddridge County. Another rebound. Bulldogs from
up north make their way into the front court, driving
all the way to the basket. It is a reverse layup.
No good for Trent and at the buzzer or no,
(01:17:26):
it hit the back of the backboard so it will
be out of bounds. Kendal Armstrong four tenths of a
second to get it in, gets it in and Parker
Bell just catches it and the time expires. We've played
three quarters sixty three forty eight Doddridge County on top.
We're back in sixty seconds on ninety four point seven.

Tiger's Valley's got some work to do Hereridge County cruising
right now. They're up sixty three to forty eight as
we start the fourth quarter, and they have the basketball.
Blake Mitchell floats it in to Heston Hayes. Hayes works
at the top of the key calls for a screen,
gets it, pushes it on the left side to Maddox
Jones and they threw it away right into the hands
(01:19:20):
of Aiden Ferris under the basket. He gets it to
Perker Bell. Bell works around the screen from Ferris to
Adam Woods on the right wing in the corner. Now
they go underneath the Ferris with the head fake puts
the shot up too strong. It won't fall for Ferris,
and the rebound comes down to Doddridge County right wing.
Here is a three on the way, no good for Dixon.
(01:19:44):
Rebound to Doddridge Counties Blake Mitchell and he puts it
back up an end sixty five forty eight leads back
out to seventeen for Doddridge County. Here's Kendall Armstrong hands
it off to Woods. They run a little weave out
high Alex Scott hopstep to Aiden Ferris. Ferris in the
corner to Kendl Armstrong on the left, bounce past to
(01:20:05):
Adam Woods. Givin go and he got it. Sixty five
fifty fifteen point lead for Doddridach. They have the basketball
and breaking the defense down and laying it in as
gunner Kimball sixty seven fifty Now on the other side,
here's Parker Bell dishes it off the woods, Ken Del
(01:20:27):
Armstrong right wing needs a three ky thiry Ken Armstrong
knocks it down sixty seven fifty three. Now on the
other side, Kimball goes up and gets called for the
charge player control foul leads to the tenth turnover against
Doddridge County. Tiger's Valley was six thirty five to go
(01:20:48):
in the game, trailing sixty seven to fifty three. They
have the basketball Bulldogs of Tiger's Valley to bring it
in full court pressure Walmsley, Avery, Ralspinagle, Parker Bell, kend
To Armstrong and Alex Scott. That's your five on the
(01:21:10):
court for Tigers Valley. Scott streaks into the front court,
sets up the offense on the left wing. Ball PopEd
a way into the hands of Parker Bell, Bell being
guarded there by Maddox Jones works it in the corner
to Kendall Armstrong and he is going to be stepped
on the baseline. You know we talked about in the
pregame show that did a narrow court here, and boy
(01:21:33):
it is absolutely hurting the home team here tonight. Sixty
seven fifty three Doddridge County with the lead in the
basketball working with it as Jones Jones on the give
and go driving in. Shot is up from about eight
feet away for Bryson Dixon and he scores. Now here's
Parker Bell on the other side, drives in, shot is up.
(01:21:54):
It's coding. He's found Parker Bell drew the content act,
laid it in and now there is a discussion. Basket
is good and Parker Bell's at the line. Fowl is
(01:22:16):
called on Gunner kimball number two on him. Six h
two to go in regulation sixty nine fifty five. Doddridge
County on top Parker Bell at the free throw line,
a seventy nine percent free throw shooter on the year,
shot up and in and out. Tough luck miss Doddridge
(01:22:36):
County with another rebound collision on the inbounds but it
stays with Doddridge County. Here is a left wing quick
release three from Maddox Jones. He just kind of flung
it up there and it went. And then on the
inbounds play, an attempted steal leads to a foul by
Maddix Jones, third team foul, five point fifty one to
(01:23:02):
go in the ball game seventy two to fifty five
and bounce pass comes into Parker Bell ditches it off
to Walmsley. Walmsley has the ball poked away, has to
run it down at quarter or court. Now he'll drive
the baseline, working hard, shot up shot good Walmsley working
against kemball seventy two to fifty seven. Doddridge County with
(01:23:22):
the lead and the basketball. Here's Jones again. He'll float
it up off the glass and score seventy four fifty
seven leads back to seventeen. There's Tiger's valley. Parker Bell
has it into the front court, picked up there by
Maddox Jones on the right side to Avery Rawls Spinagle
being harassed out near mid court. They get it back
(01:23:43):
to Alex Scott. Scott to Walmsley in the corner to
Avery Rawls Spinagle, bounce pass out high. Kenda Armstrong drives
down the left side, cut off back to Scott. Thought
about a three, it's not there now he works it underneath,
kicks it out left wing Kendall Armstrong three. Yes, seventy
(01:24:03):
four to sixty. Lead is at fourteen for Doddridge County.
There's a turnover on the other side, Blake Mitchell picked
it up, looking for a teammate and drug his foot
seventy four to sixty Tiger's Valley, trailing by fourteen. They
have the basketball with four fifty to go in the game.
(01:24:23):
In Bell's pass from mid court comes in to Parker Bell.
He runs it down in the back court. Here he
comes works around the screen at mid court, being harassed,
being bumped by Hayes. Be'll weaving in and out till
Walmsley upad in nice fine by Parker Bell giving the assist.
It's seventy four sixty two. Now on the other side,
(01:24:44):
here's Hayes working with it at the basket, high off
the glass and he scores. And Doddridge County not liking
what they're seeing. They're putting their starters back in seventy
six sixty two. Doddridge County on top four twenty sixty go.
We've got a time out on the court. We'll be

Avery Rowse Pinagle puts it up. It won't go. Jacob
Walmsley with the rebound, back of it in and he's
foul fouled by Jaden Solomon. That is no check me,
not Jaden Solomon. I apologize he was in the area,
but the foul is called on Land and Thomas. He
(01:26:50):
was also apparently in the area. That's number two on him.
Walmsley back at the free throw line, He's three out
of four from there tonight make it four out of five.
Seventy six to sixty five. Lead is at twelve for
Doddridge County. Working with it underneath is Solomon. Solomon kicks
it out to Trent. Trent drives down, has the ball
(01:27:13):
taken away. Walmsley with the steels gets it to Parker
Bell Bell left side to Avery Rowsepnagal to Walmsley from
the foul line. Here got its seventy six, sixty seven,
three fifty to go in the ballgame. Adams has it
for Doddridge County. They work it on the right wing
(01:27:34):
to de Haven to Solomon at the foul line. Now
they get it back to Land and Thomas. He'll drive
the lane, shot up and good one of the fowl
nobody made contact with him. Seventy eight to sixty seven,
leads it eleven for Doddridge County. Kend to Armstrong back
into the front court to Alex Scott. Scott drives the baseline,
floats it up too strong over the rim and the
(01:27:58):
rebound that comes down to Doddridge County. Now here's the
give and go. Landon Thomas got behind. Everybody snuck in
the back door. It stends the lead out eighty sixty
seven Doddridge County. Now ken del Armstrong hands it off
to Alex Scott. Scott bounced past to Avery Rowsepinagle works
with it, hands it back to Scott. Bounce pass out
(01:28:20):
high to Parker Bell. Bell quickly down the lane has
his shot blocked out of bounds. Went in against three
much taller players. Fortunately for him the ball knocked out
of bounds. It'll stay with the Bulldogs of Tiger's Valley.
They trail by thirteen, were under three minutes to go.
Walmsley kend Armstrong free in and out. Tough luck miss
(01:28:42):
there and the rebound pulled down by Doddridge County into
the front court, stopping and popping from about six feet
away as Jared Trent and he will score eighty two
to sixty seven. Now they work at to Walmsley. Walmsley
hook shot up, it's good and he's founed by Solomon.
(01:29:06):
That will be number four on the big man, Jaden
Solomon and Walmsley has a chance to cut the lead
to twelve. With two minutes and thirty seconds to go.
Walmsley at the line, free throw up good, eighty two
(01:29:29):
seventy leads at twelve. Tigers Valley gotta play some defense,
got to hit some shots. We'll see how it goes.
Doddridge County running their offense pretty well right now. Ball
poked away from Adams, poked away again by Avery Ralspinagle.
He will work at ju de Haven left side. They
go to Jared Trent. Trent's gonna back it out. Doddridge
(01:29:49):
County gonna look to burn as much clock as they can.
Ball poked away by Avery rals Monagle. They've got a
trap at mid court and then a foul is committed
by Avery raul Spinagle. That's number four on him. Eighty
two to seventy. Doddridge County and the lead. They have
(01:30:11):
the basketball Will Adams to trigger it in near mid court.
Over across the way it comes into Jared Trent. Trent
watched there by Parker Bell Trent dribbling the ball on
the Bulldog logo here at mid court. Now he works
at to Adams on the left wing, top of the
key to the haven here on the near side they
go and now back out high landon Thomas thought about
(01:30:34):
a three Doddridge County right now, content to just let
the clock tick tick tick away and the ball's stolen away.
They tried to work it down to Solomon. Here's Jacob
Walmsley on the steel. The shot it's good. So a
turnover in a steel, big steal by Jacob Walmsley makes
it a ten point game, eighty two to seventy two,
(01:30:55):
Doddridge County in the lead. They work it to Adams.
Adams has it top of the key, working against Avery Rouse.
Monagle drives in and he's fouled. Two shots coming for
will Adams. He is going to be fouled by Kendall Armstrong.
That's Armstrong's first only the second team foul and Will
(01:31:16):
Adams at the line. A fifty percent free throw shooter
on the season, he's got two points here tonight he's
ready shot up. No Leeds stays at ten for Doddridge County.
With a minute eighteen in regulation, Adam's ready again free throw,
(01:31:38):
no good rebound controlled by Walmsley up Tiger's valley, gets
it into the hands of Kendall Armstrong quickly into the
front court. Scoop shot up and he traveled with it,
got in there, tried to draw the fouls exactly what
he was trying to do against Solomon, and just could
not make it happen. One minute, ten seconds to go
in the ballgame eighty two to seventy two Dondridge County.
(01:32:00):
On top of Tiger's Valley, Tom Walmsley wants a time out.
We'll take it with them. We're back in thirty seconds
on ninety four point seven. W elk.

Speaker 4 (01:32:47):
Well, here we go. We got a little over a
minute to go. Eighty two seventy two. Doddridge County with
the lead here at Tigerts Valley, Doddrich County trying to
proved to eighteen and three on the year. Tiger's Valley
trying to get to twelve and five as we wind
down the season. Not a whole lot of games left
(01:33:09):
at Harmon, at Pendleton County, at Petersburg, at South Harrison
and Tucker County. So you've got basically five more games,
only one left at home. One minute, ten seconds to
go Doddridge County. As a ten point lead and the
basketball full court pressure by Tiger's Valley, Adams has it,
(01:33:35):
floats it to Land and Thomas. He breaks the ten
second line, sets it up, picked up his dribble now
has to come to the near side. They work it
to Heston Hayes Doddridge County just going to eat his
clock away. Jared Trent with the basketball to Adams. Tigers
Valley has fowls to give and Alex Scott's got one.
(01:33:57):
Alex scott third foul, only the third against Tiger's Valley
here in the fourth quarter, forty eight seconds to go,
eighty two, seventy two. We'll go ahead and keep it
right here. There's another time out on the court by
Tiger's Valley. Hey, just a reminder, of course, if you
(01:34:21):
are familiar with Tiger's Valley, longtime coach, educator and public
address announcer Judy Harris is going to be honored tomorrow
night right here in Mill Creek before the girls varsity game.
So around six o'clock. If you played, and you're a
Tiger's Valley fan and you played for Judy Harris, just
(01:34:44):
let him know when you come in. I only cost
you a dollar to get in, and they're going to
honor her before halftime or before the game. Excuse me,
tomorrow night again at around six o'clock, so maybe get
here a little bit early. We're keeping an eye on
the weather, We've got high school basketball coming up for
you with WVRC Media. Thursday night, weather permitting, we'll have
(01:35:08):
Philip Barber Jeff Rodgers a little under the weather. I'll
actually be covering the Philip Barber game on WD and
E AM and on WD and E FM. We'll have
Elkins basketball Friday night Tigers Valley here on WEOK at
Pendleton County and Saturday evening at five thirty on w
D and E FM. The Elkins Tigers Doddridge County looks
(01:35:28):
to get it in, looks to get it in, looks
to get it in. They do. Float it in to
Heston Hayes. Hayes working against Scott Doddridge County with a
ten point lead forty seconds to go, They're just gonna
dribble the timeline out. Avery ralse Monogal steps in front
of the pass steals and drive shoots cars. Avery rals
Monagal stepped in front of the past stolen away. Fourth
(01:35:51):
steel of the night and another time out by Tigers Valley.
Once again. We will keep it right here as we
look at the schedule for Doddridge County again seventeen and two.
They are winding down the season as well, looks like
they've got about three more games left. There are only
two losses for Doddridge County. Came back on January thirty,
(01:36:14):
first a loss to Braxton County and then last Friday night,
Valentine's Night, they went over to Tucker County and dropped
a game there by twenty points, sixty seven to forty seven.
So what I can tell you and we will see
that Tucker County team head coach Daniel Helmick has got
that team firing on all cylinders. Tucker County absolutely having
(01:36:37):
a great season. We saw him back earlier in the year.
We will see them here again next Thursday. That's going
to be a Barnburn or Tucker County and at Tigers Valley.
Here on ninety four point seven w E LK eighty
two seventy four. Doddridge County with the lead thirty four
(01:36:57):
and eight tenths of a second left in this one,
Doddridge to bring it in. They do work it in.
Adams has it, floats it to Land and Thomas. Thomas
gets it out ahead to Jared Trent. Trent to Adams,
Adams on the right side to Hayes. Hayes being harassed
(01:37:18):
back to Adams twenty seconds to go. Doddridge County's gonna
win this one. As Alex Scott picks up his fourth foul,
still only the fourth foul against Tiger's Valley, so no
free throws yet, but Doddridge County doing exactly what they
need to do as they are burning precious seconds off
(01:37:39):
the clock. It comes in now Parker Bell with the
steel drive shoots Gorge. Parker Bell drives in. They weren't
paying attention and he's snuck in and poked the ball away.
Now on the other side, Doddridge County leading eighty two
seventy six foul about eighty five feet away from the basket,
Parker Bell picks up No. Number two. That's the fifth
(01:38:01):
team foul and I think probably a little too little
too late, as Jared Trent will go to the free
throw line. He's got two free throws coming. Trent, the junior,
a seventy one percent free throw shooter. So Tigers Valley
managed to take what was a twenty point lead and
cut it to six. Now it's seven. As the free
(01:38:23):
throw is good Trent, we'll get another one. It's a
two possession game or three possession game. Is Trent ready again.
Miss that one rebound comes out to Alex Gott. He
fires it up top of the key. It is up
and no good, and that is the ballgame. Final score
(01:38:46):
eighty three to seventy six. Doddridg County defeats Tigerts Valley.
We'll step away, come back, get you a postgame statistics,
and then get you back to music. Final score eighty
three seventy six Doddridch County with the win. We'll be
back with the post game show ninety four point seven.
W elk.

prevents pollution, supports public health and creates jobs. Plainly put,

Tiger's Valley fell behind early in the game. They trailed
after a quarter by twelve, trailed at halftime by thirteen,
trailed at the end of the third quarter by fourteen,
and then they chipped away, chipped away, but basically just
ran out of time, and Tiger's Valley falls here tonight,
eighty three to seventy six. Let's take a look at
(01:42:42):
some unofficial numbers. Of course, statistics always unofficial because I'm
doing play by play and keeping stats. But here we
go for Doddridge County thirty five of fifty nine from
the floor that is fifty nine percent. Two out of
six from three point range, eleven out of twenty two
at the free throw line that is fifty percent pulled
(01:43:04):
down thirty rebounds, turned it over fourteen times, eleven of
those coming in the second half, and they had four steals.
Doddridge County led in scoring by Heston Hayes off the
bench with seventeen Jaden Solomon and Landa Thomas with thirteen apiece,
eleven points for Josh de Haven, eight points for Jared Trent,
(01:43:26):
six points for Blake Mitchell, five for Maddix Jones, four
points apiece for Gunner, Kimball and Bryce and Dixon, and
two points for Will Adams for Tigers Valley, twenty nine
out of fifty three from the floor, that's fifty five percent,
so when they got looks at the basket, they did
pretty well. Of that number. Nine out of twenty one
(01:43:49):
at the from the three point line that's forty three
percent and seventy five percent at the free throw line.
Nine out of twelve twenty rebounds, twenty two turnalvers, fourteen
of those coming in the first half for Tiger's Valley
and they stole them all five times. Led in scoring
by Jacob Walmsley with twenty one Parker Bell knocks down
(01:44:10):
fifteen twelve points apiece for Alex Scott and Kendall Armstrong,
eight points for Avery Rawlespinagle, four points for Adam Woods,
Aiden Ferris and Ian Harris chipped in to a piece,
so Tiger's Valley will fall to eleven and six, Doddridge
County will improve to eighteen and two. Coming up next
(01:44:32):
for Tigers Valley a road trip down to take on
Pendleton County. We're going down to Franklin with him. It'll
