Speaker 1 (00:37):
Now let's go live for all the action. Here's Greg White, and.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
We welcome you in finally to Tigers Valley Basketball. Not
that we're disappointed, we ran a little along. It was
an amazing junior varsity contest between Tigert's Valley and East Hardy.
It was tied at forty seven at the end of regulation,
a four minute overtime period and East Hardy success at

(01:09):
the free throw line when it counted. Tigers Valley turned
the ball over a couple of times in the extra
session and the junior varsity team for the Cougars pull
it out over Tigers Valley Junior Varsity fifty one to
forty nine. A valliant effort on the part of the
Tigers Valley Bulldogs junior varsity squad under head coach Mike

(01:30):
Depascal to get it done just couldn't happen tonight against
a very good team. So again, the junior varsity contest
went to overtime where East Hardy wins it by a
score fifty one to forty nine. Now we are talking
about varsity basketball. Both the teams are out, both the

(01:51):
teams are finally going through their warm ups, and we
have got a good one. As a matter of fact,
this game is so good we've got our buddy Joecato
from Metro News. You can check the highlights of this
one tomorrow at metronews dot com wvmetronews dot com. Excuse me,
as Joe Bricatto is here tonight to provide updates. He

(02:13):
and I had a conversation a very good East Hardy
team coming in here to take on our very good
Tigers Valley team. This game went to overtime up in
baker Back on the twenty fourth of January, and East
Hardy did manage to pull that one out fifty six

(02:34):
to forty seven in the overtime period Tiger's Valley, hoping
for a different outcome here tonight. Of course, when you
look at this East Hardy team, you've got the Hamilton
twins Evan and Mason in the backcourt. Jordan Teat's one
of the better scores we have seen him the last
few years as he's worked his way up now a
senior on the squad, and he is tough. You have

(02:58):
got to know where he is is at all times.
And then of course in the middle for East Hardy
get in Good, a six to six sophomore, and he's
tough to bring down. The way you attack him from
scouting reports is you get him flustered if you can
do that. But he's really good. This East Hardy team
has only lost five games. They are currently ten and

(03:21):
five on the season, with lost to Armstrong Herford. Tucker
County twice lost back to back games with Tucker County
on December thirtieth and then again on January tenth, and
I talked to head coach Chris Han before the game.
He said, you know, they led for a great deal
of that game before Tucker County pulled it out. Then

(03:42):
this Cougar team five in a row before they fell
to Petersburg and then they picked up a win against
Union just a couple of nights ago for Tigers Valley.
This team, they are doing very well under head coach
Tom Walmsley, ten and three on the season. They split
a couple of games this week though here at home

(04:03):
a loss to Clay Bettel. We talked to coach Walmsley
and you'll hear his thoughts on that game and kind
of what happened in the laws. And then of course
two nights ago they went up to Clarksburg to take
on Jared West Notre Dame team and they won that
game in a low scoring affair by twenty one points.
We are winding down the regular season. It's crazy to

(04:25):
think here we are in early February, seven games left
for this Tigers Valley team. They will travel to Harmon
next Tuesday night, weather permitting. Of course, we're watching a
winter storm that could possibly be coming in, so they'll
travel down to Harmon weather permitting, on Tuesday night. Home

(04:45):
here next Friday night against Notre Dame on Tuesday, February
the eighteenth. The home game against Doddridge County February twenty first,
a trip down to Franklin to take on Pendleton County,
Petersburg a trip up there on February twenty fifth, the
home game against Tucker County on February twenty seventh, and
March fourth, a trip up to Howth up to South Harrison.

(05:09):
We will have four of the next seven games broadcast
live here on WEOK, including next Friday night home against
Notre Dame February eighteenth, home against Doddridge County at Pendleton
County on the twenty first, and the Tucker County game,
of course on the twenty seventh. So it is a
great time East Hardy. They're down to a few games themselves.

(05:31):
They go to Harmon on February the twelfth, that's Wednesday night.
They will take on Frankfurt on the thirteenth, Petersburg on
the seventeenth, Pocahonnas County on the eighteenth, Northern Garrett, Maryland
on the twentieth, and they wrap up the season on
February twenty fifth at Union. So we expect this to
be a phenomenal basketball game. Both teams ranked in the

(05:56):
upper echelon of Class Single A, and when it comes
to regional tournament play, we if you look at it,
the way things are going right now, it looks like
at this point in the season, Tucker County probably will
finish with the number one seed in the region. The
number two seed could come down to one of these

(06:18):
two teams two three. It is going to be interesting.
A lot of implications in this and quite frankly, a
lot to learn for both teams about their opponents. They've
seen them on the road. Now we've got to see
what happens here at home for Tigers Valley. So exciting
basketball coming up. We are glad you are along again.

(06:40):
A late start tonight, dude to the overtime with the
junior varsity contest that East already pulled out by two
points in the extra period. We're going to take our
first break here in the pregame show when we come
back at an opportunity to talk with head coach Tom
Walmsley of Tigers Valley. We'll hear his thoughts coming up
in two minutes. So ninety four point elk.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Our pregame show continues here ninety four point seven, weok
time for a conversation with head coach Tom Walmsley, and
let's go back to Monday just for a minute, talk
just briefly about Clevetel. We were up on them at
halftime and in then what happened in the second half
to change the tone of that game.

Speaker 7 (09:31):
They went to a little trap. And people will think
this is strange, but we are this small court hurts
us when we have small guards. Their guards are a
little bit bigger than us. And when they went in
that little half court trap up at clay Bettel, we
went around them and didn't really have a lot of

(09:52):
problems with it. Up here, we didn't have any room
to get around them, and we struggled with it, and
our offense kind of went dead for a good four
or five minute of play there. And you know, we
went from ben four six up to ten down in
the in the middle of the fourth quarter and we

(10:13):
finally started pressing and and got I think we got
down to two or three. But you know, we just
we we just just took just made a stop and
stop and look and think and took a lot of
our aggressives away on on offense.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
You know. So then yeah, you know, you fall by
four here on Monday night. Wednesday night, you go up
to Notre Dame and from all accounts, what a great
defensive game by your team.

Speaker 7 (10:39):
Yeah we we did. You know. Notre Dames was six
and six at the time and and had had had
put together two or three nice wins, had beaten a
couple of teams that just lost to earlier in the years,
so they had our attention.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (10:55):
It was a low scoring game, mainly because Notre Dame
was so patient. Notre Dame was very methodical in their
attack and they actually slowed the game down. But with
us having to leave, we didn't get in a hurry either.
So but our kids did a great job. We only
gave up eleven second half points and ended up winning

(11:17):
bout twenty one. And really the game was over with
four minutes to go. We we just wore him down defensively.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
You know, we've talked about several players on the team.
One we haven't really talked about, and he got in
foul trouble Monday night against Cleve. Mattel was Ian Harris
talk a little bit about his development over the last
few years.

Speaker 7 (11:37):
Well, Ian has always played super hard Defensively, He's very
quick and on both ends of the floor, he gets
by people pretty easy. Defensively, he never stops. And at
the same time that while that's great positive, sometimes he's

(11:58):
out of control on both thins. And when he gets
out of controlled defensively, he can't stand seeing a basketball
without his hands on it, you know, And and he
gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and
the referees, you know, nail him and he ends up
sitting on the bench. Offensively, he gets by people so quick,

(12:19):
but again he's not one of our bigger guards, and
he gets in there among sixty three six four kids
and it has a hard time seeing the rims. So
but when he plays under control on both ends. I
go back to the Tucker game. He carried us the
first quarter and a half against Tucker. Nobody else could
do anything, and he just took over the game. And

(12:42):
unfortunately he wore down and nobody else step up yet.
So but great kid, and we'll play. He's heart out
for you.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
So we've got a really tough, East Hardy team, quite
a battle up in Baker a couple.

Speaker 7 (12:56):
Of weeks ago. What do we expect to see out.

Speaker 11 (12:58):
Of him tonight?

Speaker 7 (12:59):
They're going to come out and they're gonna shoot really well.
The Teats kid is one of the best shooters, if
not the best shooter that we'll see all year. Both
Hamilton twins are quick and they can shoot. And then
you got the good kids. Sixty six post player in
the middle that takes up a lot of room, and

(13:21):
he's long and gives our sixty three sixty four post
players fits. So they're they're well put together. They're they're
a lot like us, but they've had just a little
bit more success and a little bit more experience at
that success and that means a lot coming down the stretch.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
All right, it's gonna be a good one. We'll get
it started. More to come. Ninety four point seven w Elk.

High School we ebber Walmsley Court getting ready for this
s matchup between two ranked teams East Hardy and Tigerts Valley.
East Hardy again comes in with a record of ten
and five on the season, Tigerts Valley at ten and three.

(16:16):
Let's run through the starting lineups first of all, for
the Cougars of East Hardy ten and five under head
coach Chris Hahn, assisted by Matt Teetz and Tyler Mangold.
They average sixty two points a game. They give up
only forty seven points a game. Very strong defensively. They
are five and two at home, five and three on

(16:36):
the road. They will go with the Hamilton twins Evan
and Mason in the backcourt, both of course honored juniors.
Jordan teaches the shooting guard kind of a shooting guard
forward hybrid. He's a five to eleven senior. Joseph Price
out on the wing, a junior, and in the middle
six foot six sophomore Gideon Good to be Hamilton. Hamilton

(17:01):
teats Price and good for this East hardy team four
Tigerts Valley, as they have all season long. They will
start four seniors and a junior. The Bulldogs ten and
three on the season under head coach Tom Walmsley, assisted
by Buck Cecil and our buddy Mike Depascal. They are

(17:22):
five and one here at home, five and two on
the road. At one guard will be five to seven
senior Ian Harris, Ian averages four and a half points
and three rebounds a game. Avery rows Pinagle the two guard,
a five to ten senior, two points and two rebounds
a game. They rely on him for the movement of

(17:43):
the basketball. Kendall Armstrong five eleven senior, averages eight points
three rebounds a game and what a shooter seventeen points
the other night, including four three pointers against Notre Dame
up in larks Burg. Kayden Moore out on the wing,
the six to three senior, averages seven points seven rebounds

(18:05):
a game. He's more, he's the coach on the floor.
That's the guy you want on the floor when it
comes to crunch time, because he's gonna be the guy
that helps out, calling the right plays, making sure everybody
is exactly where they need to be. And of course
in the middle, battling with battling with Gideon Good is
going to be six to three junior Jacob Walmsley. Walmsley,

(18:29):
leading scorer on the team, averages fifteen and a half
points a game, pulls down eight rebounds a game. Then,
of course you can look for five six sophomore Parker
Bell off the bench averages thirteen points a game. Expect
to see playing time from Adam Woods, Alex Scott and,
if needed for defensive purposes, Austin Gear. Those are the

(18:52):
primary guys you're gonna see for this Tigers Valley teams.

you have got to do is find Jordan Teetz, get
a hand in his face, do everything you can because

(23:18):
he can absolutely score the basketball underneath the basket. Jacob Walmsley,
Caden Moore. They're gonna have a battle with big six
foot six sophomore Gideon Good. There's a lot of excitement
in the building, packed house here in Mill Creek. Great
folks making their way down from Baker. Always glad to

set up on all fence. Ian Harris into the front court,
dribbles over around the screen on the right. He's cut
off there, back between the circles to Kenda Armstrong, Avery
Rowls Spinagle, back to Ian Harris. Harris dribbles works his
way through. Watch there closely by Mason Hamilton cross court

(24:24):

Caden Moore has it right wing to Ian Harris. Harris
drifts over to the right, drives down, cut off there.
Caden Moore drives in. Tried to go to the basket,
gets cut off to Spinagle to Ian Harris. Tried to
go underneath, to Jacob Walmsley. He runs it down, saves it,

(24:45):
brings it out to Caden Moore. Caden Moore bounce past
in the corner to Ian Harris. We've played almost a minute.
Tiger's valley is not attempted a shot. Kenda Armstrong has
it right wing. He'll pull up for three. Comes off
the back of the iron. It is no good. Rebound

Jacob Walmsley gets the bucket and the harm He'll get
a free throw. Walmsley a seventy percent free throw shooter

(25:34):
on the season. First one good it is three to
nothing Tiger's Valley. East Hardy quickly into the front court.
They work it to teach Teats, bounce past to Evan Hamilton.
Hamilton has it between the circles, comes to the nearest
side to his brother Mason, looking in the corner to

(25:55):
teach Teats. Bounce past to good good backing in turn
scores off Glass puts it in over Caden Moore. It's
three to two Bulldogs on top two two one. Pressure
employed by East Hardy. Ball is tipped away and it
is stolen. It is a turnover, lead, pass out ahead, driving,
shooting and scoring is Mason Hamilton. Four to three Tiger's

(26:24):
Valley trails. They have the basketball here in the first quarter.
It is another turnover tried to work at inside lead,
pass out ahead, driving, shooting and scoring is Mason Hamilton
six to three. East Hardy using turnovers, turning defense into offense.
Another turnover fought for and Avery Rause. Monagle manages to

(26:47):

Caden Moore on the assist. The basket is Good. The
foul called on Kiddy in Good and Walmsley at the
free throw line. He has all five of Tiger's Valley's

(27:09):
points and he'll try to try it up at the
charity strike. It is up Good five thirty seven to go.
Opening quarter. We're tied at six. Here's Teach into the
front court, gets it to Evan Hamilton. Hamilton back to Teach.
They left him wide open three left side. No Good
got his own rebound. Drive shoots and scores missed on

(27:31):
the three. Followed his shot, got the two and it
puts the Cougars up eight to six. Into the front court.
Comes Tiger's valley, Till Walmsley. He'll pop from about eight
feet away. It won't go. Caden Moore there for the rebound,
and he bounced it on the sideline, tried to tip
it back up and In couldn't get it to go,
and when he pulled down the rebound, he lost it.

(27:56):
Eight to six. East Hardy with the lead in the basketball.
They work it into Good. Now they come out to
Evan Hamilton, Hamilton cross court to Mason Hamilton. Now they
hand it back as they working around the perimeter, tried
to go underneath the good ball fought for chipped away.
No good on the shot by Price, but good there
to put it back up. And in ten six East

(28:19):
Hardy leading by four. Avery Rausepnagle into the front court,
tried to go in the corner and it goes out
of bounds off the leg of Walmsley. Turnover number three
against Tiger's valley. Four point thirty seven to go, opening corner.
It's a four point lead for the Cougars. They have
the basketball. Evan Hamilton into the front court, goes to Mason,

(28:40):
back over to Evan. They play catch with it out
high on the right side. They work at the Price,
Price to Teets Teats, back to Price in the deep
right corner. Teu Teats will drive in, go underneath the
good Good puts it up too strong. It rolled in
and out and the rebound pulled down by the Bulldogst's

(29:00):
valley just set the offense. Kendal Armstrong into the front court.
Got those bright pink shoes on as they work it
across the way. Actually I think their coral is the
official color. But he has them and they help him
with his shooting, apparently because he had seventeen the other
night against Clarksburg Notre Dame. Ian Harris bounced past left
side to Avery Rousse Monagle, watched there by Mason Hamilton

(29:24):
to Kendall Armstrong. Works around the screen at the top
of the key to Walmsley out on the left wing.
Ian Harris in the corner. Ten six to go or
ten six our score make it yup still ten six
as Walmsley gets the inside pass lays it up. It
won't go. Rebound pulled down by East Hardy to teet
right side Mason Hamilton. Three on the way in and out.

(29:45):
It is no good. Rebound pulled down by Ian Harris
of Tiger's Valley. He streaks into the front court, works
around the screen, gets it to Avery Rals, Monagal Walmsley
left wing. Three in and out. Tough luck. Miss rebound
pulled down the cougars three eleven to go. Here comes
Teach drives in. He's cut off by Walmsley. They kick
it in the corner. Three up and good for Evan Hamilton.

(30:10):
Thirteen to six lead is ballooned out to seven for
East Hardy. Ian Harris has it, works it to Walmsley,
Walmsley to Avery rals Spinagle to Kenda Armstrong, they're out
on the perimeter looking inside East Hardy, packing in that
zone tightly under the basket. Here is Ian Harris. He'll
fire it up from fourteen. It won't go rebound again

(30:32):
down to East Hardy. They've got a trap in the
corner and a foul is called. Foul is going to
be called on Avery Rals Spinagle number one on him.
First team foul, two team fouls against East Hardy. They'll
bring it in Evan Hamilton right side to Mason Hamilton.

(30:55):
They work it underneath the price working against Walmsley goes
Hi off the backboard and lays it in fifteen to six.
Lead is at nine for the Cougars. Tom Walmsley wants
a time out, not happy with what he is seeing
from his team. We've got a time out on the court.

six with a mitt at forty five to go in
the opening quarter, Tiger's Valley trying to slow down the offense,
get a good shot but at two three zone employed
by east Hardy. Not there and there is a backcourt violation.

(32:51):
Caden Moore through it to Avery rawlspinagle and for the
fourth time end the first quarter, the ball is turned
over by Tigers Valley. They trail by nine. Here in
the first quarter, Joseph Price, Jordan Teats play catch with
it to two point guards or Evan Hamilton and Mason Hamilton.

(33:11):
They play catch out front. Now it comes on the
left wing, back to the top of the circle on
the right side to Mason Hamilton. He's cut off there,
comes back out high to Evan Hamilton. He drives in.
He got Walmsley up in the air and Walmsley called
for the foul. That's foul number two against Jacob Walmsley

(33:38):
and at the line is Evan Hamilton. He's got three
points Tonight first one up good, give him four points.
Ten point advantage for east Harding. Ready to go again.
Free throw rolled around, rolled around, No good, Kiddy and
Good with the rebound. Put it back up. He can't

(33:59):
get it to go, dishes it off to Jordan Teas
and he lays it in eighteen to six. Right now,
everything going the way of the Cougars. They try to
throw it underneath the Caden Moore to Avery Rouse, Spinago
drives in, has his shot blocked out of bounds by
Kiddion Good. It will stay with Tiger's valley. As Parker

(34:25):
Bell and Alex Scott into the ballgame trying to get
a spark on offense in bellnce play comes in and
a foul on the baseline. Foul is going to be
called immediately on Alex Scott. That's number one on him.
Third team foul and East Hardy with the basketball leading

(34:50):
by twelve, eighteen to six, forty five seconds to go
in the opening quarter, working with it out high is Hamilton,
Hamilton to Hamilton, Evan to Mason left side. Here's teats.
He wants a three and he finally got it. He
tried a couple of times and he finally found the range.
It's twenty one to six. East Hardy dominating here in

(35:12):
the early going Parker Bell all the way through. The
ball poked out of bounds into the hands of Parker Bell,
who tried to save it. He could not, and it
is turnover number five. It's against Tiger's valley. They trail
twenty one to six. Evan Hamilton strolls into the front court,

(35:34):
gets it to Teats back to Hamilton. Ball is tipped
high about seven rows up in the bleachers by Caden Moore.
It will stay with the Cougars of East Hardy. Mason
Hamilton to bring it in comes into Evan Hamilton between
the circles left side. They come to Teats in the
corner to Hamilton drives in and he traveled with it.

(35:59):
Drove in. Jacob Bomsley jumped in front of him in
a stutter, stepped and drug that pivot foot. It is
a turnover first one and with four seconds to go
the passes in or scept it on the inbounds play.
Shot is up and good at the buzzer, Hi Nason Hamilton.
We've played a quarter. It is all East Hardy early

Speaker 3 (37:34):
East Hardy in the first quarter ten out of sixteen
shooting from the floor, including two three pointers. They are
dominating here right now twenty three to six. We start
quarter number two. Cougars with the basketball. Evan and Mason
Hamilton play catch out front. Gideon Good has it left side,
driving in cut off there is Mason Hamilton gets it

(37:56):
to Evan, back to Mason, back to Evan three left
winging banked in and out and no Good and the
rebound pulled down by Ian Harris of the Bulldog. Check
me Adam Woods of the Bulldogs. Now here is a
three Parker Bell deep left side. It will not fall
rebound to the Cougars. There on a runout. Evan Hamilton

(38:17):
comes in give and go to Good and nobody gets
it back out to Teach. Teach stops and pops from
fourteen off the glass and goes Jordan Teach with nine
points here in the first quarter and minute. Here's Kaden
Moore bounced past to Jacob Walmsley out to Armstrong Parker
Bell three right side. Yes, you need either Bell or

(38:42):
Armstrong to get hot. And there's a turnover on the
other side by east Hardy. Tried to work it underneath
to Price. It goes off his hands, out of bounce.
Twenty five to nine, East Hardy on top. Just under
seven minutes to go in the second quarter. Here's Perker
Bell to Adam Woods. Adam Woods lost the handle. It's

(39:04):
a turnover coming the other way. East Hardy driving in,
shot up no good by Evan Hamilton. Rebound pulled down
by Walmsley. Out let pass ahead. Caden Moore with the
head Faith got good to jump and he lays it in.
It's twenty five eleven Tiger's valley, two back to back baskets,

(39:24):
three pointer and a layup. Now on the other side
they work with it. Evan Hamilton top of the key,
three in and out. It is no good. Rebound to
Price and a tie up and it will go to
Tigert's valley. Aiden Ferris into the ballgame now for the Bulldogs.

(39:48):
Jacob Walmsley gets a rest. So you've got Kenda Armstrong,
Parker Bell, Adam Woods, Caden Moore and Aiden Ferris. That's
your five for the Bulldogs. Kenda Armstrong to Parker Bell,
back to Armstrong into the front court. In the corner.
They go. Ball is poked away from Aiden Ferris in
the corner. It will stay with Tiger's valley. Rebounding pretty

(40:13):
even nine to seven in favor of East Hardy, but
the turnovers six to two in favor of East Hardy.
Here is a three from Kendall Armstrong up long rebound,
pulled down by the Cougars. They come into the front court.
They get it to Evan Hamilton, Hamilton to teach one
of the three. It's not there. Drives over elbow, left
nothing there. Back to Evan, Hamilton, back to Teats, back

(40:36):
to Hamilton. They play catch on the near side. They
get it to Good. He drives in, shot is up no,
but he's fouled. Caden Morale get the foul. That's his
first teams first five point forty two to go in
the opening half, twenty five to eleven. East Hardy on top.

(40:58):
Gideon Good at the free line. He's got four points here. Tonight,
six foot six sophomore Ready puts it up Good he
will get another one. Starting five still on the court
for East Hardy. Hamilton Hamilton teach Price and Good get

(41:20):
in Good at the line. Ready free throw up. Yes,
got them both twenty seven eleven. Our score here in
Mill Creek, Tiger's valley trails. In this one they have
the basketball. Adam Woods comes to Kendall Armstrong. Armstrong between
the circles, hands it off to Woods. Woods stops and
pops top of the key and let it go a

(41:41):
little too early and it missed. Everything goes out of bounds,
didn't touch the rim, the net, nothing and east Hardy
takes it back Evan Hamilton into the front court, calls
for Teach to come over in the corner to Mason Hamilton.
Hamilton cut off. They go out high to Evan Hamilton,

(42:03):
left side to Mason Hamilton, back to Evan Hamilton. He
drives in, dribbled it off his foot out of bounds
to Tiger's valley. Turnover number three against this Cougar squad,
Perker Bell looking to get open. You've got Bell and Armstrong,

(42:23):
two of the best three point shooters on the team.
Bell comes in, He's trapped in the corner, loses the
handle and stepped on the baseline whilst trying to regain control.
Turnover number eight twenty seven to e eleven. He's starting
on top four fifty to go until halftime. They go

(42:44):
in the corner to Teach. He pulls the trigger corner three.
It will not go rebound off the head of Gideon
Good and it will go to Tiger's valley. Jacob Walmsley
back in Kaden Moore to take a break. So Jacob Walmsley,

(43:04):
Adam Woods, Parker Bell, Aiden Ferris and Kendall Armstrong. Armstrong
has it to Bell. They haven't broken the ten second line.
Now they do to Ferris catches it like a tight
end on the sideline to Adam Woods. They go underneath
the Walmsley working hard in the basket, can't get it
to go and the rebound pulled down by East Hardy Cougars.

(43:26):
On the run they go to Teats. No ball stolen away.
Adam Woods drives in, missed the layup, Parker Bell there
he missed the layup and a tie up on the
rebound it goes to East Hardy. Oh my, so a turnover.
Adam Woods missed it, Parker Bell missed it and it's

(43:48):
East Hardy Basketball had a chance to cut into the
lead even further. Right now, it's a twenty seven to
eleven lead by East Hardy with four ten to go.
Cougar's into the front court looking looking. They come on
the near side to Mason Hamilton, back to Evan Hamilton,

(44:08):
top of the key, back over to Mason. He drives
down the lane and he's gonna be grabbed and fouled
on the floor. Foal is going to be called on
Parker Bell, number one on him, second team foul. In
bounce play comes in out high right side to Evan Hamilton.

(44:31):
Here is a three up and good for Aubrey McCullough
just into the ball game and he announces his presence
with a three point shot. It's twenty nine to eleven,
an eighteen point lead for East. Hardy Kendall Armstrong in
trouble in the corner, a fight for the basketball tie up.
It'll stay with Tiger's Valley three thirty eight to go

(44:56):
on till halftime. He's trdy and control here early. It's
an eighteen point lead for the Cougars. Tiger's Valley's struggling
to find offense. They go to Parker Bell. He drives
in splits a double team. He's fouled on the floor.
Valley is called on Mason Hamilton, number one on him,

(45:17):
first team foul. Bulldogs to inbound under their own basket
to our right, comes into Parker Bell. He catches at
top of the key, watched there by Evan Hamilton, and
Hamilton poked it away from him. Cougar's on a runout
to Mason Hamilton. Hamilton has the ball stripped away. It's

(45:38):
a turnover. Parker Bell took it right back into the
front court. Comes Bell sets up on the right wing,
one of the three. It's just not there. This defense
too quick now. He drives in, comes out to Kendall Armstrong,
between the circles, left side to Adam Woods. Woods has it.
Comes to Parker Bell. Bell drives in at the foul line,
threw it away, passes Ennerson, that's stolen by Teats. Teats

(46:01):
drives in. He's going to be fouled by Parker Bell,
number two on the young sophomore third team foul and
Jordan Teatz. He'll get two free throws. He's got nine
points here tonight. A price ready to check back into

(46:22):
the ballgame for East Hardy, Ian Harris and Caden Moore
ready to check back for the Bulldogs. Twenty nine to eleven.
The scores. The first free throws up and good Teetz
will get another one up, rolls around, falls through thirty

(46:48):
to eleven. Big lead here for East Hardy Tigers. Valley's
got to find some offense somewhere. Comes into Caden Moore.
He drives in, has his shot blocked by Kit Good,
and then Ian Harris steals it, gets it to Jacob Walmsley.
He goes to the basket, but he's styled by Gideon Good,
number two on the big man. So East Hardy had

(47:13):
the rebound. Ian Harris took it away, got it to Walmsley,
who drove hard to the basket. First free throw up
Walmsley Good. He'll get another one to forty three to

(47:34):
go until halftime. Coming up. At halftime, we'll recap the
first half statistics get you Metro News Sports as well.
Second free throw by Walmsley, up and good. He's got
eight points here in the game, thirty to thirteen. He
is the lead. Now Here's Teach drives in, has the
ball taken away Kenda Armstrong stepped in front of a pass.
Now he'll rush into the front court and slow down

(47:56):
just across the timeline. Bounce past right side to Ian Harris, Harris,
left side to Adam Woods, Woods looking inside nothing there
goes to Kenda Armstrong, back to Woods, cross court, passing
in the corner to Caden Moore looking inside for Walmsley.
Works it in to Walmsley, puts it up off the
glass two strong rebounds, smacked out of bounds by Price.

(48:18):
It will stay with the Bulldogs two ten to go.
Thirty to thirteen here in the first half, late start
due to an overtime game on the JV side, Ken
Dea Armstrong takes the inbounds pass on the wing, drifts
over between the circles left side on the wing to
Adam Woods. Ball stolen away, intercepted again by Evan Hamilton.

(48:40):
He drives missed the lay up ball poked out of
bounds by Mason Hamilton, out of bounds to Tiger's valley.
Just under two minutes to play here until halftime, thirty
to thirteen. Temporary stoppage employees. Mason Hamilton ties the double
knot and shoe Lason. We're ready to go East Hardy

(49:04):
waiting at mid court to pick up the pressure. They've
been pressuring the whole game. Adam Woods has it cross
court to Ian Harris, to Caden Moore. Here's Adam Woods
drive shoots cars Adam Woods makes it a fifteen point
lead for East Hardy thirty to fifteen, cutting into the lead,
chipping away need turnovers and points. On the other side,

(49:27):
stopping and popping from fourteen is Mason Hamilton. The ball
batted around on the rebound goes out of bounds to
the Bulldogs with ninety seconds to go in the opening half,
thirty to fifteen East Hardy on top Tiger's valley with
the ball. Kendall Armstrong into the front court and he

(49:48):
is going to be grabbed and fouled. Foul is called
on Jordan Teats number one on him number three on
the Cougars one minute, twenty one seconds to go. Here
in the opening half, it's thirty to fifteen East Hardy
on top Tiger's valley with the basketball. Ian Harris has

(50:11):
it between the circles, comes on the left side to
Kenda Armstrong two three zone by this Cougar team. Kaden
Moore looking underneath for Walmsley, it's just not there. This
is where you should take advantage of it. With six
six Gideon Good out of the game. Here's Kendal Armstrong
rims it in and out from the top of the key.
No good, and then the rebound pulled down by Ian

(50:34):
Harris and he traveled with it. Kendal Armstrong struggling from
three point land. He had four to three pointers against
Notre Dame. He is right now, oh of three. Matter
of fact, this Bulldog team won out of six from
behind the arc. Forty eight seconds in the first half,

(50:55):
East Hardy leading by fifteen. The Hamilton Twins playing catch
out near mid court, back and forth. They go left
side to Teats, back to Mason Hamilton, between the circles
to Evan Hamilton. He drives around the defender to Jordan
Teats as they go into motion with twenty nine seconds
to go. Now they'll back it out, working apparently for

(51:18):
the last shot. The green clad Cougars of East Hardy
with a fifteen point lead and the basketball playing catch
with it to Teats, they work it to Evan Hamilton.
Hamilton to Mason Hamilton one three to one defense by
Tiger's valley. They work with it. Here's Evan Hamilton drives

(51:39):
in floats it up from twelve. It won't go. Walmsley
through it ninety one feet and it goes off the rim.
It is no good. And that will take us to halftime.
It has been quite frankly, a fairly dominating performance by
this East Hardy Cougar team, and they show it on

(52:01):
the scoreboard. They lead thirty to fifteen. Here in Mill Creek.
We're at halftime. We'll step away for two minutes, come

W elk, we are back here in Mill Creek at halftime,
East Hardy, two things, forcing turnovers and absolutely shooting the
lights out here tonight. Unofficial stats that I kind of
hang on to myself, East Hardy, check this out. Twelve

(01:01:19):
of twenty six from the floor, a blistering forty six percent,
including three out of eight from three point range, five
out of six from the free throw line. That's eighty
three percent. Eleven rebounds, seven turnovers for the Cougars. Let
In scoring by Jordan Teetz with ten, six points for

(01:01:41):
Gideon Good and Evan Hamilton four points or excuse me,
Mason Hamilton. Four points for Evan Hamilton, two points for
Jason Price and Aubrey McCullough. I had him for a three,
but it was a two. They said his foot was
on the line, so he has two points for their thirty.

(01:02:01):
Tiger's Valley twenty two percent from the floor five out
of twenty three, including one out of seven from three
point range. They are perfect at the free throw line
four out of four. Let In scoring by Jacob Walmsley
with eight, three points for Parker Bell, Caden Moore and
Adam Woods have to apiece rebounding. They're actually out rebounding

(01:02:25):
East Hardy twelve to eleven, but they've turned the ball
over twelve times. Bulldogs to get the ball to start
the third quarter of action. Go with their starters, Harris Avery, Ralsepnagel,
Kendl Armstrong, Jacob Walmsley and Caden Moore Cougar's going with
their starting five. Hamilton Hamilton teats price and good. Bulldog's

(01:02:46):
now working at the basket to our left, Kenda Armstrong
trying to get open for three. There's just nowhere to
go underneath the Walmsley Strong off the glass, cannot get
it to go, has a shot attempt blocked and the
rebound down to good for East Hardy into the front
court left side. Here's Evan Hamilton drives in cut off

(01:03:08):
to Jordan Teach, teats all the way under the basket,
throws it away. It is a turnover into the hands
of Kendall Armstrong to Avery Rowls Spinagle, back to Armstrong
on the near side. They go to Avery Rawls Spinagle
working with it to Ian Harris looking for some sort
of open shot. It's just not been there tonight for

(01:03:29):
the Bulldogs. We've played a minute the third quarter. East
Hardy with a fifteen point lead. Ian Harris for Tiger's
valley bounced past to Kendall Armstrong quick release three. Any comics,
that's what this Bulldog team is gonna have to have
here in the second half. Now top of the key,
East Hardy trying to answer Evan Hamilton no good with

(01:03:52):
the rebound, No good with the rebound again, no Price
with the rebound, no back out high to Hamilton, No
and the rebound to Tigert's valley. Four rebounds on that
as they come to Caden Moore in the corner. Now
they go to Jacob Walmsley to Armstrong another three right

(01:04:12):
wing rimmed it in and out, no good rebound pulled
down by East Hardy. Cougar's into the front court Price
on the left side here is Teats for three. God
it Jordan Teas his second three pointer of the night.

(01:04:35):
It's thirty three eighteen. He's Hardy on top. Just under
two minutes played. Here in the third quarter, Avery Rouse
Monagle has it right wing, centers the ball up, looking
inside to Kenda Armstrong. Here on the left side, bounce
pass to Ian Harris. Harris drives the baseline, that to Walmsley.

(01:04:56):
Walmsley has his shot rejected by Good Ian Harris left
wing three. It's good Ian Harris thirty three twenty one.
Now on the other side, Tiger's valley harassing East Hardy.
As the Cougars work it in underneath the good he

(01:05:17):
puts it up. It won't go. Price with the rebound
up nobody's fouled, so Good fouled or check me Price
fouled on the rebound after the miss, foul is called
on Kendall Armstrong, number one on him, first team foul.
Joseph Price at the line to our right, first one

(01:05:41):
up back of the iron, noe. Thirty three twenty one.
There's a fifteen point lead for East Arty at halftime.
It's down to twelve now Price again missed the second
one rebound pulled down by Walmsley, gets it into Avery
Rolsepnogle's hands. He works it to Ian Harris back on

(01:06:03):
the near side. As they work it around they go
underneath to Walmsley up or to the basket. Nope, but
he's foul. Geton Good called for the foul and that
is number three on the big guy, good shot blocker.
And I tell you what if you play in this
area and you gotta play East Hardy, you got to
deal with that young man for a couple more years.

(01:06:26):
Just a sophomore. Walmsley too strong off the back of
the iron. It won't go good out McCullough back in
five o one to go, third quarter, thirty three twenty one.
East Hardy on Chob Jacob Walmsley for Tiger's valley at
the line to the left. Second free throw good one
out of two. It's thirty three twenty two. Leads at

(01:06:48):
eleven for East. Hardy Cougars have the ball. Teats to
Evan Hamilton near side to Mason Hamilton underneath the price.
They bring it out high, quick passes around the perimeter.
Three on the way, won't go for Hamilton, rebound into Teets,
he pulls it down and kicks it back out. They'll
reset the offense. Now back to Hamilton to Teets, works

(01:07:11):
around the screen, bounce past to Mason Hamilton in the
corner to McCullough looking for the good shot outside, getting
good on the bench. They working underneath the price, working
against Kayden more high off the glass and scores thirty
five twenty two. He's hardy on top Tiger's Valley's Kendal

(01:07:33):
Armstrong into the front cord and he traveled with it.
Tried to split a double team, traveled with the ball,
turned it over a turnover number thirteen against Tiger's valley.
Four twelve to go. Third quarter. He's hardy with the
basketball four to five to go, Bounce past underneath the price,

(01:07:55):
dribbled the ball off his foot, had to run it down,
could not run it down. Turn it old, turnover number
nine and east tardy wants a time out. We'll take
it with them. Thirty five twenty two cougars on top.
Third quarter action back in thirty seconds on ninety four
point seven w elk.

Speaker 9 (01:08:11):

Speaker 7 (01:08:48):
Let's go Bulldogs.

Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
Brad Werkman, directsit Master Control Greg White here in Mill
creek is Tiger's valley trails thirty five to twenty two,
and they turned the ball over. Coming out of the
time out. Evan Hamilton intercepts the pass, works it down
the court. Here's Teach drives in off the glass and scores.
I tell you he's tough, good ballplayer. And Jordan Teach

(01:09:15):
from East Hardy. Now Here's Kaden Moore comes to Avery
rals Spanagle to Ian Harris and the ball stolen away.
Another turnover against the Bulldogs into the hands of Avid Hamilton.
He drives the length of the court and turns it
into points. Thirty nine to twenty two. Tiger's valley cut
it to eleven. It's back out to seventeen. Now the

(01:09:36):
lead for East Hardy. Ian Harris comes to Avery Rals
Spinagle to Kenda Armstrong right wing three too strong off
the back of the iron rebound knocked out of bounds.
Stays with Tiger's valley. Avery rals Spanagle out, Alex Scott
back in. They like him for his defense. He is

(01:09:57):
like the bulldog for the Bulldogs. In bounce play comes
in for Tiger's valley. They get it to Jacob Walmsley
to Moore to Ian Harris, in the corner to Armstrong.
Tried to bounce past, sneak it underneath and the ball
is taken away by east Hardy. Turn over number sixteen
against the Bulldogs of Tiger's Valley. They lead it by

(01:10:19):
seventeen or they trail by seventeen. Excuse me, Tiger's Valley
down thirty nine to twenty two. Here's Jordan Teats drives
in to Mason Hamilton, kicks it out to McCullough, back
to Teats, Evan Hamilton, East Hardy very patient with the basketball.
They got a seventeen point lead with two and a
half to go in the third quarter. Now driving in

(01:10:41):
is Mason Hamilton, cut off out to Teats left side
to Evan Hamilton. Bounce pass on the right side in
the corner to McCullough, looking nothing their way back out
high driving in is Hamilton to Teats and he has
the ball poked away from behind by Alex Scott. It'll
stay with the Cougars. Head coach. Tom Walmsley, veteran head

(01:11:04):
coach here for the Bulldogs, calls the defensive set that
he wants, looking to bring it in. They do. East
Hardy brings it out to Evan Hamilton. He's got it
between the circles. He'll just back it out near mid court.
Take his time. Alex Scott runs out to meet Mason Hamilton,
and Scott called for the foul number two on Alex's

(01:11:28):
second team foul. Just under two minutes to go in
this third quarter, thirty nine to twenty two. Bulldog Basketball
ninety four point seven w eok Elkins, Greg White court side,
Brad Workman back at Master control. In Bell's play for
East Hardy stolen away. Alex Scott steps in front of it,

(01:11:48):
takes it. He'll run the point quickly up the court.
They go in the corner, ball knocked out of bounds
by Jordan Teatz. It'll stay or check me Mason Hamilton
and it'll stay with the Bulldogs. Now on the other side,
they just called a moving screen against Caden Moore. As
they said, Tom Walmsley said he did not move. The

(01:12:13):
official said yes, he did, stepped into him. Little disagreement
there between the coach and the official. The official usually
wins that one, thirty nine to twenty two. Now on
the other side, here is East Hardy Ball taking away
a double team lead, pass out ahead to Alex Scott,
drives in, floats it up off the side of the iron,
no good, and the rebound pulled down by the Cougars.

(01:12:37):
They get it to Jordan Teach with ninety seconds to
go third quarter. Here's McCullough wants a thirte knocks it down.
I had him for one in the first half. That
one didn't go, but this one did. It's forty two
twenty two. The lead is at twenty for East Hardy.
Now on the other side, Ian Harris looking in the

(01:12:58):
corner for Alex Scott and he threw it over his head.
Turnover number eighteen against the Bulldogs. They trail by twenty points.
Here with a minute and eleven to go in the
third quarter. East Hardy, no rush at all. They got

(01:13:19):
a twenty point lead on the right side. They work
with it, try to go underneath, and there is price.
They're gonna call price for the charge. Said. He threw
an elbow trying to get position. Not really threw an elbow,
but just kind of pushed it up and it made
contact with the upper shoulder head area of Caden Moore,
and that will get called not He wasn't throwing an elbow.

(01:13:40):
He just lifted his elbow up and made contact with
the head. They'll call that now in the corner. Here
is a three up and good for Ian Harris, his
second three point shot of the night. It's forty two
to twenty five. East Hardy on top. Now here's McCullough
tries the answer on the three. It will not go.
Re bound scraped for a tie up possession. Arrow will

(01:14:03):
go to East Hardy thirty five seconds to go. Third quarter,
forty two twenty five. Cougar's on top and they have
the basketball. Evan Hamilton barks out the play call given
to him by his coach, works around the screen. Now
he'll spot up left wing three in and out. No good.

(01:14:25):
Walmsley pulls down the rebound for the Bulldogs. Alex Scott
lead pass out ahead. He's gonna pull the trigger on
a three left winging it won't go. Ball tipped around
out of bound, stays with the Bulldogs so down the
court as the three up and no good for Woods.
But the rebound comes around. Walmsley has it left side

(01:14:50):
to Ian Harris. Bounce past to Kendall Armstrong to Alex Scott,
back to Armstrong, quick release three, top of the key.
Count It forty two twenty eight. Now as the buzzer sounds,
a half court shot is up and no good bye price.
We played three quarters forty two twenty eight. He starting

(01:15:10):
on top back in sixty seconds on ninety four point seven.

basketball trailing forty two to twenty eight. Parker Bell into
the ball game looking for some three point shooting. You've
got Bell, Armstrong, Walmsley, Adam Woods and Alex Scott. That's
the five on the court for the Bulldogs. Gideon Good
back in for East, Hardy good Price, Hamilton, Hamilton and

(01:16:50):
Teats and Tiger's Valley throws it away. Nineteen turnovers for
the Bulldogs here through the first three quarters. Tardy works
around the screen. They work it under given go to Good.
He wanted to dunk it and it went in and
out and No Good didn't get the elevation he wanted.
Rebound the Tiger's valley. Adam Woods lasing up it in

(01:17:13):
and he's fouled. Basket is good. Foul called on Mason Hamilton,
number two on him first team foul and Adam Woods
at the line to the left. Adam a fifty percent
free throw shooter on the season, shot is up in,

(01:17:36):
in and out. Rimmed it in and out. No Good,
but ken Del Armstrong there to run the rebound down.
They'll reset the offense. Woods has it to Parker Bell,
Bell being harassed. Back out to Woods near mid court.
Twelve point lead for East Tardy. Here's Kenda Armstrong thought
about the NBA three, changed his mind. They go to
Walmsley to Alex Scott in the corner to Armstrong. Armstrong

(01:17:59):
drives all the way through, brings it to Parker Bell,
hands it to Alex Scott, back to Armstrong. Armstrong wide open,
top of the key. Three got it Kendle Armstrong sinks
the basket and it cuts the lead to nine forty
two thirty three. Full time out on the court. We're

Fourth quarter of action forty two thirty three East Hardy
on top of Tiger's valley and driving in. A foul
is called on the floor. They will call Parker Bell
for the foul and it'll be the first team foul
against Tiger's valley. Here in the fourth quarter, Teats brings

(01:19:54):
it in. They work it on the left side. Ball
poked away into the hands of Gideon Good. He drives
in and floats it up an end forty four to
thirty three. The lead is at eleven for the Cougars.
They have led by as many as twenty. Here in
the second half, Tiger's valley chipping away. You've got Kendall

(01:20:15):
Armstrong and Parker Bell in for three point shooting. If
you needed Alex Scott in for defense, here's Parker Bell
high arcing three. It won't go. Kendl Armstrong catches the rebound.
He can't get it to go as he's falling out
of bounds, and the rebound down to the Cougars. E's
Trdy very patient on the offense, no hurry at all,

(01:20:39):
and there is a moving screen called against Gideon Good.
He stepped in to the Tigers Valley defender that is
number four on the big sophomore from East Tardy six
foot six. He's been hard to deal with underneath and
he now has four fouls. Tiger's Valley with the basketball,

(01:20:59):
Kendl Armstrong had a wide open three. It's not there.
They work it underneath. The ball poked away cross Gourd
passed to Alex Scott in the left corner top of
the key to Parker Bell. Bell drives in to Alex Scott,
back to Kendall Armstrong, over to Adam Woods on the
far right side. Alex Scott has it, drives in in

(01:21:19):
the corner to Armstrong, underneath to Walmsley. Walmsley steps underneath
up and end kidding Goods. Gotta be careful. He's got
four fouls, so look for Tigers Valley to try to
take that to their advantage. Forty four to thirty five.
Lead is at nine for East Hardy. Cougars with the basketball,

(01:21:39):
Price has it stolen away Kendall Armstrong on the steel,
He'll set the offense to Walmsley drive shoot scores forty
four to thirty seven. Lead is at seven for East
Hardy and Chris Han wants a time out on the court.
Listen could get a little. It's exciting here in the

(01:22:00):
final four fifty three as East Hardy leads seven points
forty four to thirty seven and the fourth quarter we're
back in thirty seconds. On ninety four point seven, w elk.

Speaker 3 (01:22:54):
What looked like a runaway and the third quarter. East
Hardy at that point had a twenty point lead. Tigerts
Valley has used rebounding good defense and good shooting to
chip away at the lead. And you've also got to
remember that Giddyon Good, the big six foot six center

(01:23:15):
for East Hardy, is in foul trouble, so they were
going at him. He had to let him go. Now
they've taken him out of the game and put McCullough
back in. So here we go four forty five to
go in regulation, seven point lead for East Hardy. Cougar's
with the basketball. McCullough has it out near mid court,
Mason Hamilton to Evan Hamilton. Hamilton watched there by Parker Bell.

(01:23:37):
Here's the give and go. Jordan Teach drives and lays
it in. My goodness, he's tough to stop. Forty six
thirty seven leads back out to nine for East Hardy.
They work it ahead to Adam Woods. Woods looking for
a little help and he has fouled. Mason Hamilton called

(01:23:57):
for the reach in. That's his third team's second stays
with the Bulldogs. Parker Bell, Adam Woods, Alex Scott, Kenda
Armstrong on the court with Jacob Walmsley for Tigerts Valley
right side to Parker Bell to Alex Scott. He pulls
the trigger on a three, rimmed it in and out,

(01:24:18):
almost had it did not fall rebound down to the Cougars.
With four minutes to go, nine point lead for East Hardy.
Into the front court with the jab step as Hamilton
looking for Teats on the give and go. It's poked
a way into the hands of East Hardy. Now on
the other side, Evan Hamilton drives in. He is hacked
in the act as they used to say, and he'll

(01:24:41):
go to the free throw line. Foul called on Jacob
Walmsley number two on him, second team foul and Evan
Hamilton at the line. He is one out of two
from there. Tonight first one up, good, ten point lead
for East Hardy. Just under four minutes to go. Ready again,

(01:25:07):
free throw front of the iron, no good rebound, tipped
around and Price pulls it down to McCullough and East
Hardy will reset the offense. They lead by ten with
three forty to go. Here is Teats out on the
left side as Evan Hamilton has it, centers it up

(01:25:27):
and now Parker Bell Jordan Teach goes to the floor,
hard to the floor. Parker Bell called for the foul.
Now what you need to understand Parker Bell was about
five foot five and maybe maybe weighs one hundred pounds.

(01:25:47):
He's a diminutive point guard, and he somehow knocked Teats
to the ground. Now Here is Teach on the other
side driving in. They push it around to McCullough. Three
twenty to go east Hardy, trying to eat as much
of the clock as they can. They go to Price,

(01:26:10):
works with it. They're just playing catch out high running
the weave. Price being harassed into the hands of Evan Hamilton.
I think East Hardy would be happy to just pass
the ball for three minutes and get out of here
with a win. Mason Hamilton has it works through a
double team push pass to McCullough. McCullough being bothered. They've
burned about forty seconds off the clock. Hamilton lost it

(01:26:34):
and nobody from Tiger's valley there to pick it up.
Evan Hamilton to Teach. Teats driving in cut off there
to Price from the foul line back of the iron.
No good rebound, tipped out and controlled by the cougars.
They will reset the offense and we'll do all this again.
Now on the other side, it is taken away. Finally

(01:26:56):
poked away and on the other side, a foul is
called tea diving. After the ball makes contact with Kendall
Armstrong and it is a foul, Jordan Teetz picks up
number two, third team foul. They're gonna put Parker Bell
back into the game for offense. He's got four fouls,

(01:27:18):
but you need him for the points. Ten point lead
for East Hardy to twenty four to go in the
ballgame is Kiddy and Good back in McCullough out for
East Hardy. So both coaches little chess match going on here.
Offense for defense here in Mill Creek forty seven thirty
seven East Hardy on top to fifteen to go in

(01:27:42):
the ballgame, Parker Bell has it, works around the screen,
he'll stop and pop. From fifteen it will not go
and the rebound pulled down by the Cougars. And again
they are just happy to pass the ball around and
play catch with it for the final two minutes. They
have a ten point lead. It has been a battle
here in Mill Creek. Teach drives in, drives out, gets

(01:28:03):
it to Good back out high to Mason Hamilton. Hamilton
works with it to Price, works with it to Evan
Hamilton to Mason Hamilton again, Tiger's Valley chasing all over
the court. Parker Bell's got to be careful. He's got
four fouls. He's working on defense. Here's Mason Hamilton and
they call Adam Woods for the reach. First foul against

(01:28:30):
Adam Woods, third team foul against Tiger's Valley. And with
a minute and thirty five seconds to go, we got
a thirty second time out on the court by Tiger's Valley.
We'll keep it right here. Let you know what's coming
up next for this Tiger's Valley Bulldog basketball team. Tuesday night.
This coming Tuesday night, they make a trip down to Harmon.

County team, and on March fourth, Tiger's Valley wraps up
the regular season at South Harrison. So over the next
couple of weeks, four more broadcasts four out of the

(01:29:34):
seven games left for Tigers Valley, and then when we
get into regional play, of course, we will have all
of the games during the regional tournament. Right here. On
ninety four point seven e LK ten point lead for
East Tardy, a minute thirty five to go in the game,
and the Cougars with the basketball, Tiger's Valley now gonna
start playing a little man to man defense in the backcourt.

(01:29:56):
Adam Woods reaches in about sixty feet away from the basket.
Foul is called and that is the fifteen fouls. So
we're shooting at free throws. Evan Hamilton at the line,
two out of four from there tonight, normally one of
the better free throw shooters on this Cougar team. He's

(01:30:16):
got two coming. First up side of the iron. No good.
Tom Walmsley yelling to his team. If he misses it,
make sure you rebound it. Ready to go free throw,
front of the iron.

Speaker 23 (01:30:30):
No good.

Speaker 3 (01:30:31):
Kendal Armstrong with the rebound four of the Bulldogs. They
get it into the hands of Ian Harris. He streaks
into the front court to Kendal Armstrong right wing, top
of the key to Adam Woods in the corner. Ian
Harris Tiger's valley. Running out of time, they go to
Walmsley floats it up over the front of the rim.
No God is rebound. No God is rebound again. It's blocked, rebound,

(01:30:53):
taken away by East Hardy. Jacob Walmsley had a couple
of looks at it, could not get it to go,
and we're under a minute to go. It's a ten
point lead for East Hardy. They're just gonna play catch
with it. Run around Tiger's valley trying to get the ball,
but East Hardy doing a great job handling it. And
Parker Bell just filed out of the game. Parker Bell

(01:31:18):
out of the game with three points. He just picked
up foul number five and it looks like the Bulldogs
they're gonna fall here tonight. As Mason Hamilton is at
the free throw line, he missed the first one. He's
got another one. Drayden Watson checking into the ballgame. Second

(01:31:46):
free throw is no good. Rebound poked out of bounds,
it'll go to Tigert's Valley. So you've got Watson, Walmsley, Woods, Harris,
and Armstrong on the court for Tiger's Valley. They trail
by ten. Ken Armstrong has it Tiger's Valley. Working against

(01:32:07):
that defense, it has given them fits here tonight. Bounce
past to Walmsley, to Ian Harris. He fires up a three.
It will not go and the rebound pulled down by
East Hardy trying to get it into the front court.
They do, and the Bulldogs are gonna fall here tonight.
Cougar's phenomenal effort on defense as Adam Woods called for

(01:32:31):
the reach third foul and that'll send Mason Hamilton back
to the free throw line for two more. With fourteen
seconds to go, East Tardy will improve to eleven and five.
Tigerts Valley will drop to ten and four on the season.
First free throw up and good Mason Hamilton now one

(01:32:51):
out of three. By the way, the statistician from East
Hardy said, we had some folks listening up in the
Baker area. East Hardile he fans, thank you very much
for tuning in on ninety four point seven w ELK
forty nine thirty seven, and there is a steal another
turnover against Tigert's Valley, and that is going to do it.

(01:33:15):

statistics and we'll wrap it up and get you back
to music on ninety four point seven.

We are back here in Mill Creek and a tough
loss for the Bulldog's going to tell you what this
East Tardy team, they are pretty good shot the ball well,
but it was the defense that was the story of
the game here tonight for the Cougars of East Hardy.
Let's get into the numbers quickly as East Hardy takes

(01:36:04):
the win here tonight. Forty nine thirty seven for the Cougars.
They shot as a team forty three percent nineteen out
of forty four, four out of fourteen from three point range,
seven out of sixteen at the free throw line. They
out rebounded Tiger's Valley twenty four to twenty two, let
in scoring by seventeen points from Jordan Teats, eight points

(01:36:24):
from Mason Hamilton and Gideon Good, seven points for Evan Hamilton,
five points for Aubrey mccullob, four points for Joseph Price.
East Hardy did turn the ball over twelve times and
they had four blocks for Tiger's Valley twenty eight percent
from the floor thirteen out of forty six, including six

(01:36:47):
out of seventeen from three point range, five out of
six at the free throw line. That's eighty three percent.
They turned the ball over twenty times, very uncharacteristic of
this Bulldog t They average about twelve a game, turned
it over twenty times here tonight. Bulldogs led in scoring
by Jacob Walmsley with thirteen points, nine points four Kendall Armstrong,

(01:37:11):
six for Ian Harris, four points for Adam Woods, three
for Parker Bell, two for Caden Moore, Avery Rause, Binagle,

did not score it. So, as we said, Tigerts Valley
