Our coverage is brought to you by.

Baby Pioneer Insurance Agency, Dave's Service Center, and Sunnyast Carpet.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Now let's get to the stadium for all the action
on ninety four point seven. Welk, and we welcome.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
You into a very cold Parsons West Virginia. My name
is Greg White. Doing the game solo today. Mike Depascal
had other obligations and then d'maniel Smith was to join us. Sadly,
d'manuel had a death in the family, so our condolences
go out to him. We wish nothing but the best
(00:49):
for he and him and his family. So it's just
me today, but that's okay. We've got you cover. We
had some snow in the area. I will tell you
up on top of the mountain where Tucker County High
School it is up in the Davis Thomas area. They
got some significant snowfall overnight and into this morning. Coach
aj Rap told me up on the mountain they had
(01:10):
about five or six inches of snow and wind and
cold temperatures here in Parsons not too bad. The sun
is out. There is snow on the field now. Of
course they came in earlier today and cleaned the snow
off of the yard marker, so we'll be able to
tell you where everything is going. The field in rough
(01:31):
shape right now. I got to tell you it's a
grass surface. And that's what you have in the second
week of the high school football playoffs as we get
you ready for Tucker County Playoff football taking on Pendleton County.
Presented by Matiki Cole, Megan Simmons, Brad Workman producing back
at Master Control. So these two teams come in very
(01:52):
different styles. Tucker County can throw the ball, but their
intention is to run the ball as much as they
can and of course behind Jared Reel on most two
thousand yards on the season, and they're going to run
the ball today. That's what they want to do. On
the flip side. The Pendleton County Wildcats number seven in
(02:14):
Class Single A with a record of eight and three.
Colton Roberson is the quarterback now. Roberson started at quarterback
for the first time about mid season against this Tucker
County team and then he's gotten better. He threw for
five touchdowns in a playoff game last week against meadow Bridge.
They are getting ready to honor America here at Tucker
(02:34):
County High School. I did have an opportunity to talk
with head coach aj Ramp. Will hear his thoughts on
the game last week and the game today as we
continue with our coverage at Tucker County Mountain Lion Football
presented by Matiki Cole. We'll be back in sixty seconds
on ninety four point seven. We ok.

You're listening to the Class Single A playoffs with County
on ninety four point seven w e LK.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Pregame show continues here on w e LK getting ready
for pent County and Tucker County, joined by head coach
aj Rapp. Let's go back to last week. Started out
pretty competitive early on with East Hardy and then which
a what Reid kaysmore kind of opened it up for you.
Speaker 6 (04:20):
Yeah, he did eat that punt return, set the tone
force there and he got everybody's motions up, got us
a good fourteen nothing lead there, and you know then
he come on ere later there's a couple of big
catches and a long touchdown run and you know, read
stepped up force. When you know everybody's taking care of Garrett,
but they forgot about Reids.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
You know, you got to watch out for Garrett will Fong,
big six foot four, and of course Jared real man.
I tell you what, We've been very fortunate to have
him here at Tucker County for the last couple of years.
He just kind of does what he do.
Speaker 7 (04:46):
Is.
Speaker 6 (04:46):
Yeah, Jared's consistent, you know what I mean, He's he's
been there with us for four years and I'm gonna
miss him, and hopefully it ain't after today, but you know,
hopefully we can continue on down the line here. But
he does what he does, and he's a consistent guy.
He's always around at at least seventy five eighty yard
rush range, you know, and it's hard to hold him
below that, and and sometimes he's up over to fifty,
you know, so, uh, you know, Jared's good player. This
(05:07):
is this is this kind of game today, is the
way the field conditions in the weather.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
You know, we talk about you know, of course Mark's
at quarterby Jared Reel, but they wouldn't have the success
they're having without those big guys up front. Talk a
little bit about that offensive line you've got.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
Yeah, we've surprisingly ran the ball better than I thought
we would.
Speaker 8 (05:24):
At the beginning of the year.
Speaker 6 (05:25):
You know, we had some replacement guys in there on
our right side of the line. We had to put
Colton Teeter and Quante Mitchell in there who didn't start
last year. We lost two seniors of last year there,
and those guys came in and did a nice job
for us. So you know, we're hoping we continue that today.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
You know, you were in the second round of the playoffs,
and you know you said it a minute ago, hopefully
you know, playing next week. Do you think there's anything
going through the player's minds about boy, if we get
this one, you know we get another one next week,
or they just focused on what's going on today.
Speaker 8 (05:55):
I hope they're not.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
You know, we play, we've played everything all year long
in the game at a time, you know, don't look
down the line you got coming up in two weeks.
Look who you got now in front of you. Better
take care of them, or you know, if not, you
may not be next week. Now in the playoff situation, Well.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
We've got a Pendleton County team in here today. You
got him pretty good down at there placed a couple
of weeks ago. But I tell you what they they
went to the air last week against Meta Bridge.
Speaker 6 (06:16):
Yeah, they're they're quarterback. You know, we had a little
fit with him down there when we played there, you know,
back in mid mid season and that was his first
game as quarterback. He's freshman kid Robison. Uh, he's a
real good quarterback. He's a good runner too, and you
know he makes him a different team. And you know,
luckily we played him once before, but he's had some
little bit of time to get better here in the
last few weeks.
Speaker 8 (06:35):
So you know, we're gonna have our handsful with him.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
You know, we talk about the field and you know,
considering you know, we had snow and we've got cold weather.
Seems to be in pretty good shape. But as you said,
I think it kind of lends itself to the run
game a little bit more today, don't you think.
Speaker 8 (06:48):
Yes, yeah, if you can get to it.
Speaker 6 (06:50):
I mean, you know, it's it's a little slick, it's
gonna be slicker, and we all get it tore up
in a little bit, but uh, you know, it's it's
it is. What it is is playoff football on a
grass field, and both teams got to play on it.
So you know, we'll see what happens, and then you know,
we're gonna go with what got us here.
Speaker 8 (07:02):
We can't change anything now.
Speaker 6 (07:04):
So you know, if Sam still has a green light
to throw if he needs to, and he's if he
wants to give it to Jared and give it to Jared.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
So any any concerns about you know, right now we're
about twenty six degrees kickoff, be around twenty six twenty seven.
Any concerns about holding on to the ball.
Speaker 6 (07:18):
Yeah, that's any time you get on the field like this,
cold hands, cold fingers, you know you're gonna take a
shot today like this. That's why I's telling the boys,
I think all of them and there there's enough hot
hands in our locker room just to keep your hands
and stuff for him.
Speaker 8 (07:28):
You know, hopefully that helps.
Speaker 6 (07:29):
But you know, day like this, anytime you take a
shot on the hand, it's gonna be a lot colder, sting,
a lot worse. And you know, we just gotta have
ball security. We've been a on pretty good job at
it this year. I think our ratio of turnovers to
us turnovers or we're about plus thirty six right now,
so you know, hopefully we do the same thing today.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
All right, sounds good? Head coach ajj Rappip Tucker County
Starting lineups kickoff coming up ninety four point seven.

(09:23):
the good news is we've got Blueskies and the sun

for high school playoff football. Here Round two of the
Class single A playoffs on ninety four point seven w
E LK. Coming up at halftime, we'll update you on
the scoreboard from the high school football playoffs as they
(09:47):
played some games yesterday in every class. Now what I
can tell you is whichever team wins here today, they
already know who their opponent is. That is the White
Falcons of They defeated the Sherman Tide last night sixty one,
so nothing. So far in two playoff games, Wohama has
(10:08):
scored sixty eight and sixty one points, so they are
they are getting after it. It's going to be a
tough road to hoe for either one of these teams.
Should Tucker County win, Wohama will be here next weekend.
Whether it be Friday or Saturday remains to be seen.
And should Pendleton County come out of here victorious today,
(10:29):
then Pendleton County will have to make the trip over.
Oh gosh, it's a long way from here Wohama down
over near Wheeling and then you go south down toward Potmeroy, Ohio.
So it is going to be a trip for them
to go there, or it'll be a trip for Wahama
to make their way over here next week. High school
(10:50):
football games going on throughout the day. For the best
coverage of high school sports in West Virginia all year long,
followed Joe Bricado and Greg Carey's daily post at wv

coming up for you later on this afternoon on our
sister station twelve forty am at ninety nine point nine
(11:11):
FMWD and E Brian Biby Jeff Rodgers on the way
right now down to Cole City, West Virginia, that is
just a little bit to the south of Beckley, West
Virginia to take on the number three Independence Patriots. That
game three forty five airtime and at four o'clock kickoff.
The captains are making their way out to midfield. Let's
(11:33):
talk about the starting lineups for number seven Pendleton County
on offense with a record of eight and three under
head coach Zack Smith. They will go across the front
with senior Ryland Copley, sophomore Ty heaven Or, sophomore Spencer Hartman,
freshman Sam Easton, and sophomore David Noble. The wide receivers
(11:54):
Jase Owens, Corbyn Dove, William Chase, and Josiah Kimball. In
the backfield Nicholas Rose, a five eight senior, and a
quarterback six foot, one hundred and sixty five pound freshman
Colton Roberson roads last week on the ground sixteen carries
sixty six yards. Roberson last week thirteen of seventeen, passing
(12:16):
three hundred and thirty three yards five touchdowns, and he
carried the ball for sixty one yards on all fense
for Tucker County under head coach aj Rapp with a
record of eleven and oh they are number ten, number
two in the state of West Virginia in Class single ay.
By the way, Pendleton County wins the toss and they
(12:37):
have deferred their option, Tucker County will receive, so they'll
be on offense first. Across the front, it'll be sophomore
Colton Teeter, senior Quante Mitchell, senior, Gavin Nester, senior, Mark Phillipson,
junior Josh Crossland. The wide receivers Garrett will Fong, Reid
Kaisimoor who had three catches for one hundred and thirty
(12:58):
seven yards including seven one yard touchdown, Keeland Eichelberger, and
Lucas Barb. In the backfield, Jared Reel last week twenty
five carries one hundred and twenty three yards and the
quarterback is a junior Samuel Marx last week ten of
twenty two, passing for one hundred and eighty one yards,
five carries thirty one yards and a touchdown. So, as
(13:21):
we mentioned, Tucker County will start out on offense first.
If you are familiar with the class of nineteen eighty
four field here in Parsons. It's behind the Board of
Education office and they will be moving right to left
as you follow the action on your radio. See good
crowd on hand making their way up from the Franklin
(13:43):
area here in Tucker County. Got some folks over in
the stands, and if my eyes don't deceive me, got
some people hanging out in their cars where it's a
little warmer. But good news is we got some listeners.
I will take it. Our coverage of Tucker County playoff
football brought to you by the great folks at Metiki
Cole keeping the lights on since nineteen seventy seven. Tucker
(14:07):
County in their black uniforms, the black jerseys, the black pants,
the gold numerals, and the black helmets. For Pendleton County
white jerseys, which is gonna be fun in the mud,
blue trousers and white helmets. Tucker County on offense. First
ball is teed up at the forty yard line on
(14:28):
the near side Hashmark Gabriel Harvey is set to kick
it off to Tucker County read Kaisimore back to receive
the kick. It is a short kick. It comes to
Garrett Wilfong. He'll scoop it up and push his way
across the fifty yard line. He scooped it up at
about the thirty five, kept his legs driving to have
(14:50):
some blockers out in front, and Tucker County starts out.
First down and ten in Pendleton County Territory. Underway here
on ninety four point seven.
Speaker 8 (15:02):
W E.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
LK. Thanks for checking in. Ball spotted on the forty
nine yard line of the Wildcats. So first down and
Ted Caden rap Is the lead blocker, marks up under center,
Jared Reel the tailback. Two receivers one either way. On
(15:23):
first down and ten, it's a hand off. Jared Reel,
looking for running room, runs into the back of his blocker's.
Good job by Pendleton County getting in collapsing that Reel.
We'll get a couple of yards on the opening carry
of the ball game running to the left as he
spots it down at about the forty seven yard line.
Give him two yards on the carry second down and
(15:49):
about eight for Tucker County Mountain Lions moving left to
right opening possession of the game. All on the far
side Hash Market is the stick eye formation. Three backs
directly by hide marks. They handed off to Jared Reel,
running hard off the left side. He's got the forty five,
keeps his legs driving and his tackle down inside of
the forty five, right around the forty four yard line.
(16:11):
It'll be a pickup of around three yards as he
takes it down to the forty four and it is
now third down and about five for the Mountain Lions.
Clock rolling here, opening quarter, ten to fifty to go,
opening possession of the game. Tucker County. Three receivers to
the near side, single receiver to the far side. Ball
(16:33):
on the far side, Hash Mark moving left to right,
reel behind Marks in the pistol. On third down and
at five he claps his hands, he has the snap,
wants to throw it. He's got Kaisam Moore, he's got
the first down, breaks a tackle, he's across the thirty
five and has shoved out of bounds just short of
the thirty yard line. It is a first down though
(16:55):
for Tucker County as they move the ball a little
quick pass and then kaisum will Or got a few
more yards out of it. Ball on the thirty three
yard line and is an eleven yard pass and catch,
first down and ten for Tucker County again, same formation,
(17:17):
three receivers to the right, single to the left from
the thirty three yard line of Pendleton County. Marks has
Reel behind him, wants the snap, hands it off. Jared
Reel runs hard off the left side. He gets to
the thirty yard line and then he has shoved sideways
footing not great down in that part of the field.
As again they had to come in this morning and
(17:38):
clear a little bit of snow off of the field.
As they take it down to the thirty yard line,
it is a three yard pickup for Jared Reel. He's
got eight yards on three carries. Clock rolling nine thirty
five to go. Opening quarter, opening possession for Tucker County.
Three receivers right, single to the left on second down
and seven little wide receiver screen comes over to the
(18:00):
near side. Eichelberger makes the catch and he is immediately
hit and brought down by Chase Owens, the linebacker. No
gain on the play. It'll bring up third down and
about six Now check me, they did give him positive
(18:21):
yard excuse me as he gets down to the twenty
eight yard line, so it was two yards on the
pass and catch. Here's the throw. On third down, they
go back to Kaizamore. He makes the catch and he
is blasted. A flag comes down, another one comes in,
and I think they're going to throw the penalty against
(18:42):
Pendleton County. They hit Kaysamore high as they came in
and blasted him as soon as he caught the pass.
But then the penalty is probably going to give him
the first down. It is indeed the personal foul penalty,
you know, not an intentional penalty. Didn't hit him high
on purpose. When Kaizumer went up pulled the ball down,
(19:03):
that's just where the defender happened to be. It was
right out. The first down sticks. So the pass is
completed for about three yards or check me, eight yards
down to the twenty yard line, and now it's first
and goal for Tucker County from the Pendleton County eleven
(19:27):
yard line. They throw the screen out to the near side.
Willfong makes the catch, dragging tacklers, and he's into the
end zone for the touchdown. It is an eleven yard
touchdown run to Garrett will or touchdown pass rather to
Garrett Willfong, and just like that, it is a touchdown
(19:49):
for Tucker County. They are in the end zone. Tucker
County does not have a kicking game, so to speak.
They will go for two as they had some success
here on the opening drive of the game, two point
conversion out of the Stickeye formation, handoff Jared rey Or
(20:11):
running hard right side. He is in there for the touchdown.
Eight minutes twenty eight seconds to go in the first quarter,
Tucker County takes the lead eight to nothing. We'll step
away and be back in thirty seconds. Our coverage brought
to you by Makik Cole On ninety four point seven
w elk have a new.
Speaker 2 (20:32):

Speaker 1 (21:09):
W Elk.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
Zucker County scores an eleven yard pass from Sam Marks
to Carrett Willfong. The two point conversion is good. It's
eight to nothing. Tucker County on top. Here is the
kickoff from the Mountain Lions. But a flag comes down.
It is going to be off sides. Mountain Lions will
have to kick it again. So a nice run aided
(21:33):
by a penalty fifteen yard or at least half the
distance to the goal. Excuse me, got them down in there.
Take this opportunity to remind you greatness is built with
chocolate milk, the official beverage of the WVSSAC The American
Dairy Association's Mideast reminds you low fat chocolate milk has
the right mix of fluids, carbs, and protein to rehydrate
(21:54):
and refuel muscle. Visit Drink Dashmilk dot com. Here is
the kick off again, five yards deeper. It is going
to roll and just be died down and then picked
up at the twenty twenty five trying to get ahead
close to the thirty yard line, not quite making it,
goes Josiah Kimball. So that is where Pendleton County will
(22:14):
start out first down and ten Roberson the quarterback. He
likes to throw that football. We're not sure if the
conditions lend themselves to that today, but I guess we'll
find out here in just a moment. Roberson out of
the pistol. On first down and ten from the twenty
(22:35):
nine yard line. They send Rhodes out of the backfield
in motion. Roverson wants to throw nothing there. Now, He's
going to tuck it, run across the thirty yard down
line and slide down Roberson. We'll take it ahead to
about the forty three yard line. Now, I apologize the
(22:57):
numbers are a little difficult to see. They started out
on the thirty nine, not the twenty nine, and it
is a four yard pickup up to the forty three
yard line. Pendleton County trailing eight to nothing here in
the opening quarter, seven forty five to go. Three receivers right,
(23:19):
single to the left. Roverson takes the snap. No, look, now,
he's gonna take off and run, running hard, and he'll
cross the forty five head to about the forty six
yard line. Josh crossland On the tackle will slow him up,
and actually they're gonna spot him at about the forty
(23:39):
forty eight yard line, so it is a five yard pickup.
Makes it third down in a long yard while just
shy of the forty eight moving right to the left,
three receivers, tight formation on the right side. Low snap
comes down to Nick Road. No Roberson floats the pass
(24:00):
and a diving catch by Chase Owens. He did manage
to pull it down. Unfortunately it's no gain on the play.
Actually he lost a yard back to the forty seven.
So make it fourth down and two for Pendleton County
(24:23):
and they are not taking any chances. They are in
a punt formation. Chase Owens to kick it away to
read Kaizamori had a fifty five yard punt return for
a touchdown last week. It is a low line drive
kick scoop up at the fifteen yard line, down the
far sideline, then angling back in. He's going to be
hit and dropped at about the twenty two twenty three
(24:47):
yard line, So a defensive stand by Tucker County. They
have a lead eight to nothing here in the opening quarter,
their second offensive possession. The West Virginia Secondary School's Activities
commiss and serves its two hundred and eighty six member
schools and their students by providing leadership and support for
the conduct of education based athletics which enrich the educational
(25:08):
experience of all participants, play, perform, compete together. Keecker County
has the football on their own twenty three yard line.
First down and ten. They want the wide receiver screen.
It comes here to the near side. Will Fong makes
the catch, breaks a tackle, and then he is shoved
(25:29):
backwards at about the back to the twenty seven yard line.
It'll be a four yard pass and catch. So Kaizamore
the man of honor on the receiving end last week.
This week they are looking at Garrett Willfong five of
five passing four, Samuel Mark second down hand off carroed
(25:56):
Real nice hole off the left side, keeps his legs
driving and he will drive ahead across the thirty close
to the thirty five. Put him down at the thirty
four yard line. Needed six, got seven, and it is
first down for Tucker County five and a half to
go in the opening a quarter. Eight to nothing. Mountain
(26:16):
Lions on top of number seven. Pendleton County ball right
in the middle of the field at the thirty four
yard line, moving left to right. They'll send two receivers
to the near side, two to the far side. Marks
out of the pistol, claps his hands, puts it into
the belly of Jared Reel, running hard, nice hole off
the left side, and he is going to be smacked
down just short of the forty yard line. Hard running.
(26:43):
Pendleton County's defensive line doing a good job of getting
to Jared Reel. He will pick up four yards on
the carry as he will take it up to about
the thirty eight yard line. So about a four yard
pickup for Jared Reel. Second down and about six high.
(27:06):
Snap comes back fire, the pass over to the near side,
caught by Kaisa More. Kaisamore keeps his legs driving. He's
going to be pushed out of bounds just shy of
the forty five. Will have to wait on the official
spot to get it. I don't think he got enough
for the first down. He did not. They will spot
him at the forty three. So about a five yard
(27:30):
pass and catch five yards to Kaisamore. He's got sixteen
on two receptions. Third down and about a yard Jared Reel,
He's got the first down in More keeps his legs driving,
He's in Pendleton County Territory across the fifty town to
about the forty seven yard line. Nice pick up there
(27:52):
by Jared Reel, the tailback for Chucker County, spot him
down at the wildcat forty seven ten yards on the carry,
first down and ten clock rolling three forty to go
in the opening quarter, eight to nothing. Tucker County in
(28:14):
the lead, and they have the football here on this
shully Saturday afternoon in Parsons. Thanks for tuning in to
Tucker County Mountain Line play af football brought to you
by Matiki Cole on w elk. Three receivers near side
single to the fire side play action fire the pass
wide open, Will Fall catches at thirty twenty five, twenty
fifteen and he's bumped out of bounds in the red zone.
(28:37):
Tucker County looking for Carrott will Fong and they are
having great success tracking him down as they move the
ball on the pass and catch inside of the twenty
inside of the ten actually put in at the nine
yard line. It is a thirty eight yard pass and
catch thirty eight yards makes it first down and goal
(29:07):
from just inside of the ten at the nine yard
line for Tucker County. They're in Pendleton County territory. Handoff,
Jared Reel running hard right side. He's in the end zone.
It is a touchdown, a nine yard touchdown run for
Jared Reel and Tucker County right now pretty much doing
whatever it is they want to on offense, a long
(29:30):
sustained drive and Jared Reel puts it into the end zone.
Now the two point conversion is pending. Tucker County now
out to a fourteen to nothing lead here with two
fifty three to go, two point conversion. After Reel gets
the nine yard run, hand off right side, Jared Reel
(29:53):
hit did he get in? Did he get in waiting? No,
he's still on his seat. He broke a tackle. He
fumbled the football that goes into the hands of Barb
and Barb scoops it up and runs in for the
two point conversion. It is now sixteen to nothing, Tucker
County on top of Pendleton County. We'll be back to

Tucker County on the board again. Jared Real a nine
yard touchdown run. Barb puts the two point conversion in
on the fumble, scooped it up, round it in. It's
sixteen to nothing. The drive covered sixty one yards in
eight plays took five and a half minutes. Here is
the kickoff from Tucker County fielded at the fifteen, across
(31:20):
the twenty twenty five, coming to the near side across
the thirty and then hit down Pendleton County moving the ball.
They need something on offense, by the way. Update from Lubbock,
Texas Texas Tech dominating over West Virginia. Right now, it
is halftime and Texas Tech has a thirty five to
(31:44):
three lead over the Mountaineers. Two forty seven to go.
Pendleton County on their own thirty four yard line, first
down and ten, moving the ball from right to left,
four wide receivers for Roberson out of the pistol. Takes
(32:06):
the snap, pump fake, nothing opened down the field. He's
gonna run with it and he is gonna be hit.
If he got a yard, that would be generous. We'll
see what the where the spot of the ball. They
did give him a yard, so Roberson now three carries
for ten yards. Nick Rhodes has not caught a pass
and Colton Roberson only one of one passing for negative
(32:32):
one yard. Three receivers to the right. Single receiver to
the near side is Chase Owens. On second down and
a long nine, Roberson fires the pass knocked down by
Jared Reel. Pass intended here on the near side for
Corbin Dove and real quick hands came in and smacked
it down. It is incomplete. It'll be third down and
(32:57):
about nine almost ten the thirty three yard line on
their own side of the field. Pendleton County trails by sixteen.
Here in the opening quarter, clackus frozen at two twelve.
Roberson out of the pistol. We'll send three receivers over
to the near side, single receiver to the far side.
Roberson has the snap, drops back, look, fires the pass
(33:20):
down the field. It is all of the head of
the intended receiver, Chase Owens over the head of the defender.
Reed kisamore, and it'll be punt time for Pendleton County.
Wildcats just unable to generate anything on offense here in
this opening quarter. They trail sixteen to nothing two minutes
(33:42):
six seconds to go in the first quarter, sun is out.
The snow has melted to the left of the fifty
yard line, but it's now shaded to the right. Here
is the snap and it is a low line drive.
Punt rolls end over end and inside of the thirty
five to the thirty four touchdown at the thirty three
(34:06):
yard line. So that is where Tucker County will take
over first down and ten with one minute and fifty
six seconds to go in the opening quarter of action.

ten for Tucker County. They lead by sixteen points. Three
receivers left, single the right from their own thirty three
yard line handoff, Jared Real finds a hole off the
left side, running hard, gets across the thirty five ahead
(34:50):
to about the thirty seven maybe thirty eight yard line.
We'll wait on that official spot and they will put
him down at the thirty eight, So that does end
up being a five yard pickup. Jared Reel eight carries
forty three yards on the afternoon second down and five
(35:12):
from their own thirty eight high snap. It's gonna be
Samuel Marks on the quarterback keep and he will manage
to get positive yards. The snap came up high, which
delayed the handoff to Reel. Reel just kept running and
Marks had to make something out of nothing. He did.
He takes it ahead to the forty two yard line.
(35:32):
It is a four yard pickup and it is now
third down. I had about a yard from their own
forty two. We're under a minute to go. In the
opening quarter of sixteen nothing. Tucker County Mountain lines with
the football STICKYE formation moving left to right, snap hand off,
Jared Reel lowers his shoulder, pushes his way ahead. It
(35:55):
is going to depend on the spot. He may have
gotten the first down to wait on the far side
official to come in. He is coming in and he
will mark it down at the forty four yard line
and needed one. He got two first down and ten
for Tucker County at their own forty four yard line

to go. Here in the opening quarter, Mountain Lions lead
it sixteen to nothing. Here on ninety four point seven W. E. L.

the catch and he is slammed down in Pendleton County

It'll be a six yard pickup and that'll take us
to the end of the first quarter. It has been
all Tucker County on offense here in the first few
minutes of the game, first twelve minutes. As a matter
of fact, it's sixteen to nothing Mountain Lions on top

from the scoreboard here like they're headed toward Kingwood. If
that helps you. They lead it sixteen to nothing here
to start the second quarter. They have a second down
and about three from the Pendleton County forty nine yard line.
(38:33):
Jared Reel takes the hand off. He's got the first
down and more as he crosses the forty five yard
line of the Wildcats and steps out of bounds, looks
at about the forty forty three yard line. Indeed it
is so. It is a six yard pickup for Jared Reel.

He won't get much there. Nice job by Pendleton County's
(39:17):
defensive line on the stop there, as he will get
brought down at about the forty two yard line, so
only a yard on that carry eleven carries fifty two
yards for Jared Reel. They look at a second down

formation snap back to march. Marx is going to keep
it himself, working with it off the right side, pulled
it out of the belly. It was the RPO. He
decided to keep it himself. Takes it inside of the
forty down to about the thirty six yard line. Six
yard pickup for quarterbacks. Sam Marx makes it third down
(40:01):
and about three clock rolling here on this chilly Saturday
afternoon here in Parsons. Winner of this one faces Wahama
next weekend. In the semis. Two receivers to the right,
two to the left on third down and short snap handoff.
Reel running hard. He's got the first down, spin move
(40:23):
at the thirty dragon tacklers as they try to rip
the ball away and he won't make it down to
the twenty six yard line. It is a ten that
yard run for Jared Reel, sixty two yards in the
first quarter, plus I actually put him down at the
twenty five yard line, so it is a seven yard
(40:46):
pickup two receivers to the short side of the field,
that's the right, two to the near side. On first
down and ten Marks takes the snap time in the
pocket he wants to throw it, fires at looking for
the end zone, looking for Eikeelberger. Great defensive job by
Chase Owens, got inside position Eichelberger streaking down the sideline
(41:08):
and that is the first incomplete pass of the night
for Sam Marks. He is now eight out of nine
for eighty seven yards and a touchdown stops the clock
with ten oh seven to go in the opening half.
It was snowing earlier today, but the sun has come
(41:29):
out here in Parsons pulled the mountain up around the school,
though there's a bunch of snow. Aj rapt on me
about five inches up in the Davis Thomas area. Saging down,
handoff to Jared Reel. He finds the whole off the
left side. He's got the twenty to fifteen to ten
to five. Put it in the intone. It is a
touchdown for Jared Reel twenty five yards in Tucker County
(41:53):
extends their lead. Twenty five touchdown run by Jared Reel,
his second of the night or the afternoon rather and
reel into the end zone extends this lead. It is
now twenty two to nothing, Tucker County dominating here in
(42:21):
the first half, waiting on the two point conversion. Three
minutes and fifty six seconds on the drive, they are
right in the end zone again. Snap comes back to Mars,

of the end zone, throwing up for big six foot

Turker County extends their lead. Jared Reel second touchdown of
the afternoon, a twenty five yard run. This time it
was a ten play drive sixty seven yards in four minutes.
Here's Pendleton County now, kickoff received at the ten to
the fifteen, breaking tackles twenty twenty five thirty thirty five
yard line. Nice return there, look like Roberson on the return.
(44:17):
No check me, Nick Rude. Now it is Roberson Roberson
quarterback returning the kickoff and Pendleton County looking for something
on offense at this point, nine fifty three to go
until halftime. Coming up. At a halftime, I'll step into
a warmer facility and give you an update on all
of the playoff games that happened yesterday, and then later
(44:40):
on we'll get you some scores. First down and ten
for Pendleton County Roberson play action, fires the pass across
the middle, caught at the forty forty five fifty. That's
Chase Owens across the forty the thirty the twenty and
he is tripped up grind by the ankles. And finally
a little offense for Pendleton County, slant pass to Chase
(45:02):
Owens and he takes off down the field. He goes
and he'll be bumped down at the twenty yard line.
It is a forty five yard pass and catch, first
down and ted forty five yards to Owens, and for
(45:25):
the first time tonight, Wildcats are in the red zone.
Roberson looks fires it for the back corner of the
end zone, going up trying to make the catches Chase Owens.
Nice defensive job by Red Kaysimore on the coverage inside
position and he knocked it down. And then good sportsmanship
there by Red Kayisimore as he helps up mister Owens.
(45:50):
Nine point fifteen to go here in this opening half,
it is twenty four to nothing Tucker County and the
lead Pendleton County with the football second and ten from
the Mountain Lion twenty yard line, snap back to Roberson.
Roberson flushed out of the pocket. Now he's running to
the near side, stays on his feet, lowers his shoulder,
dives ahead. He will get positive yardage, managed to stay
(46:14):
in bounds as we'll wait on the official spot. But
it looks like he's down around the difficult to tell.
There's kind of snow and mud on that side of
the field. Looks like he's at about the thirteen yard line.
So it will be a seven yard pick up for Roberson.
(46:37):
And it is now third and about three from the
Tucker County thirteen. Pendleton County snap back to roberson designed
quarterback run and he will push his way ahead. I
don't think he got the first down. He did not.
He got to the twelve. It's about a yard and
now I think if you're Pendleton County, probably I to
(46:57):
think about going for this on fourth down. And in
about two you trailed twenty four to nothing in this
one Tucker County in the Lee Tucker County Playoff football.
As long as they're playing, we're calling the game here
on ninety four point seven w E LK presented by

They've been keeping the lights on since nineteen seventy seven
(47:21):
chief receivers left single to the right snap, Doctor Roberson
rolls out to the left looking for Chase Owens in
the back corner of the end zone and just overthrew him.
It is in complete. That will go down as a turnover.
On downs. Tucker County takes over at their own twelve
yard line with seven forty nine to go in the
(47:46):
opening half. Mountain Lions lead this one twenty four to nothing,
and they aren't looking for more. Just a reminder coming
up later on this afternoon three forty five airtime four
o'clock kickoff over on her sister station twelve forty AM
and ninety nine point nine FMWDNE Phillip Barber the Colts
(48:07):
down in Riley County to take on the Independence Patriots.
First down and ten from their own twelve yard line,
Jared Reel takes the handoff, tries to bounce it outside,
nothing there, cuts it back in and he will push
his way up close to the twenty yard line. Looks
like he's going to be right at the twenty again,
difficult to kind of get a gauge on where they are,
(48:31):
but he does take it ahead to the twenty that
is an eight yard pick up for Jared Reel. He's
got ninety six yards and two touchdowns here in the
first half. Seven point fifteen to go. In the second quarter,
Tucker County to three receivers right, single to the left,
play action, fire the pass across the middle. Will Fong
(48:53):
makes the catch. He's across the forty, the forty five,
the fifty, streaking down the far side line. They grabbed
him by the ankles and they will bring him down
right in front of the Tucker County coaching staff over
on the far side line at what looks to be
about the thirty four yard line. Actually put him on
the thirty five forty five yards on the pass and catch.
(49:21):
Will Fong player of the game here so far as
they bring him out on first down and ten ball
on the thirty five yard line of Pendleton County, handoff.
Jared Real running hard off the left, breaks the tackle,
keeps his legs driving. He's inside of the thirty put
(49:43):
him down just shy of the twenty five yard line.
Looks like to be about a nine yard pickup. Put
him at the twenty six. That puts him over the
century mark at one five in the first half, one
(50:07):
hundred and four yards receiving for Willfong by the way.
Second down and at short they handed off to Reel again.
He's got the first down inside of the twenty five
put him down at about the twenty two yard line.
A four yard pick up for Jared Reel. Tell you
what if it stands pat next week and we're gonna
(50:30):
see a running show between Wahama and Tucker County. There
still a lot of football to be played here though,
five forty to go until halftime, twenty four to nothing
Tucker County. They're looking for more two receivers right singer
to the left from the twenty one yard line, pass
out to Willfong. He makes the catch, driving his legs
and he won't quite get to the fifteen yard line.
(50:54):
Looks like they will push him sideways to about the
sixteen again, waiting on the spot. It is the sixteen
yard line, so about a five yard pickup. So a
five yard pickup. One hundred and nine yards receiving for
(51:17):
Garrett Wilfong here in the opening half, and it is
second down and about five handoff Chared Reel running hard
off the right side. He'll get won't get the first down.
He will get inside of the fifteen though, put him
down at about the fourteen maybe thirteen again wait on
(51:39):
the official spot. It is going to be the fourteen
yard line, so a two yard pickup, so third down
and about three one hundred and fifty seven passing yards
(51:59):
for more here in the opening half, on third down
and short handoff Jared Reel breaking tackles, breaking tackles, He's
slung down just shine the goal line. Put him down
at about the three. It is going to be first
and goal after the eleven yard run by Jared Reel.
Clock rolls toward halftime four minutes and now four minutes even,
(52:25):
first and goal at the three forour Huncker County got
a twenty ford to nothing lead here in the opening half.
Stick eye formation, kde Rapp and Lucas bar but lead
the way for Jared Reel on first and goal, snap
back to Samuel Marx quarterback sneak. He's in the end
zone for the touchdown. It is a three yard touchdown
(52:49):
quarterback sneak for quarterback Samuel Marx, and the lead is extended.
It is now thirty to not thing Tucker County leading
Pendleton County. Another long sustained drive. Now the two point conversion.
(53:17):
They don't have a kicker here at Tucker County. Here
is the snap they want to throw at fire. The
pass a bullet pass in the middle. It is caught,
and the two point conversion is good. Thirty two to nothing,
Tucker County on top of Pendleton County. Three forty three
to go in the opening half. Our coverage brought to

They drive back rolling Roberson in trouble. He'll get back

back at the thirty five yard line, so put him
down for a one yard loss. They rushed it ahead
(56:09):

Pass comes to Dove, He makes the catch, tries to
get to the forty, can not get their Red Kaizam
(56:30):

The pass was complete, but only for four yards, so
that'll put him down at the fifty three yard line,
and Dove can't get it going eight yards on two catches.
(56:51):
Pendleton County down thirty two to nothing, no choice but
to go forward here on fourth down and three at
their own thirty nine. Roberson with the snap, fires the
pass in in complete, looking down the field for Chase Owens,
the intended receiver, and just can't get it to him.
Excuse me, that's William Chase, not Chase Owens, Wim Chase.
(57:16):
And so it'll be a turnover on downs. You give
Tucker County a short field to work with, and they've
got a thirty two point lead with two twenty one
to go in the first half. Ball on the thirty
nine yard line. Tucker County takes over first down and
(57:36):
ten ball on the near side, hashmark Two receivers come
to the near side, two over to the far side,
marks out of the pistol with real standing beside him.
Snap goes down on the ground. That went low, hit
Jared Reel in the shins and he just has to
fall on it. It will go down as a loss
on the errand Snap Reel able to recover it at
(58:00):
about the forty two yard line, so that will take
it back for a three yard loss. So minus three there.
Second down and about thirteen two receivers near side, two
(58:23):
to the far side. Marx claps his hands, wants to
throw on second down, he's flushed out of the pocket.
They're gonna hit him in They're gonna bring him down
back to the line of scrimmage. So no gain on
the play there for Marx. And for the first time today,
Pendleton County faces a third and long ball on the
(58:48):
forty three yard line, where it'll be third down and long,
twelve almost thirteen clock rolling, with a minute ten to
go in the opening half. It's thirty two to nothing.
Tucker County on top snap back Sam Marks wants the screen.
He's got Jared Reel. Reel makes the catch, spins off
of one tackle, then they hit him. They bring him down.
(59:09):
William Chase will knock him down. That is a loss
at the forty four yard line. It'll go down as
a one yard loss. Jared Reel on the completion, but
again it goes backwards and again for the first time.
It's now four to down clock rolling, Tucker County up
(59:34):
by thirty two points. As we approach halftime, we're thirty
seconds away. About fifteen seconds difference between the game clock
and the play clock neither team is taking a time
out here in the first half, and I think that's
what we're getting ready to do and it is. Yes,
it is a timeout, so we'll recap it. See what's

Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
You're listening to the Class Single A playoffs with Tucker
County on ninety four point seven.
Speaker 3 (01:03:47):
W elk, we're back now in Parsons, West Virginia. Greg
Whites here at the stadium, Bred Workman and Meghan Simmons
producing back at Master Control with appreciate them coming in
on a Saturday for playof football here in Parsons. Brought
to you by Matiki Cole. Thanks very much to them
(01:04:07):
as well. And just a reminder when it comes to
your family's health, trust WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals from routine
checkups to advanced surgical procedures. World class care is available
close to home. That's WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals. So we
are at halftime and it really has been all Tucker
(01:04:30):
County here, the Mountain Lions took the opening kickoff and
went right down the field and scored. They got it
to Pendleton County, they had to pump the football away.
Then Tucker County got it again. They scored again, then
they got it to Pendleton County. They punted the football away.
Kind of a recurring theme here, back to Tucker County.
They scored, Pendleton County got it with a turnover on downs,
(01:04:53):
Tucker County scored on their next drive, Pendleton County a
turnover on downs, and then Tucker County actually had to
punt the football away for the first time in the
game as we approached halftime. But it really has been
a dominating performance here by this Tucker County team. Pendleton
(01:05:13):
County hasn't been able to do anything on offense. The
Wildcats a team that threw the football last week in
a playoff game against meadow Bridge for three hundred and
thirty three yards, and right now they just cannot get
anything generated on offense. Only fifty three yards of passing
in the first half. So again a dominating performance here
(01:05:35):
in Parsons by the Tucker County Mountain Lions as they
lead thirty two to nothing. Of course, the timing rules
also apply. Should Tucker County extend that lead thirty five
to nothing or get it to forty two to nothing,
then it will be in a running clock. Winner of
this one will face Wahama. If Tucker County holds on
(01:05:59):
and wins this game, then Wahama's White Falcons will come
here next weekend. Whether it be Friday night or Saturday
will be determined tomorrow in a meeting in Parkersburg. And
if Pendleton County would somehow turn it around and get
on the winning side, then of course they would travel
to Wahama. So I'm gonna, you know, kind of step
into a little warmer room here. I'll be back in
(01:06:21):
just a moment and get you at update on some
playoff games that happened yesterday, plus some other scores from yesterday.
Then we'll come back here, give you some statistics, check
out scores of games going on today, and a whole
lot more. You are listening to Tucker County Mountain Lion
Playoff Football presented by Matiki Cole. We are at halftime
(01:06:42):

Pendleton County. We'll be back coming up on ninety four

to check out some of the sports action from yesterday. First,
of all, the high school football playoffs in Quad A,
number one Martinsburg dominant over Parkersburg South, rated number eight.
Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
The Bulldogs scored first.
Speaker 3 (01:08:18):
Sophomore defensive back ty Ricketts intercepted a pass returned at
twenty five yards for a touchdown. Parkersburg South answered with
a Colin Hayes touchdown pass to get even and seven
even at seven, and then it was all. Martinsburg. Senior
quarterback Coy Fagan accounted for four rushing touchdowns from four, fourteen,
fifty two and seventy five yards. Fagan also connected on
a five yard touchdown pass. The Bulldogs also added a
(01:08:41):
two yard rushing touchdown, a sixty four yard rushing touchdown,
and a thirty nine yard touchdown pass in the fifty
six to fourteen win. On that side of the bracket,
Number four Wheeling Park fell at home to number five
Huntington fifty one to thirty nine that sets up the
Quad A matchup next week is Huntington. We'll travel to
the Eastern pan Handle to take on Martinsburg. The other
(01:09:02):

wind as Spring Mills got by Morgantown fourteen to seven
Cardinals with two rushing touchdowns from quarterback Max Anderson, and
then stopped Morgantown inside of their own thirty yard line

the winner of the game going on now as number

number two Rohn County shout out number seven Scott twenty
one to nothing. They will play the winner of number
three Independence and number six Philip Barber. That game kicks
off in Coal City at four o'clock this afternoon. Complete
coverage of the Philip Barber game starting at three forty

one tug Valley now. The winner of our game here
this afternoon will take on Wahama. The White Falcons no
trouble with number six Sherman winning sixty one to nothing.
Men's college basketball yesterday, West Virginia went to overtime for
(01:10:52):
the third straight game and they hold on to beat
number twenty four Arizona eighty three seventy six to claim
third prey place in the Bahamas. Tucker Devrieves had eight
three pointers in the game. Other college basketball yesterday, number
three Gonzaga beat Davidson ninety to sixty five. Number eight
Kentucky rolled Georgia State one oh five seventy six. Number
eleven Duke wins. Number thirteen per Due gets by number

(01:11:33):
Number twenty five Colorado demolished Oklahoma State fifty two to nothing,
and last night it went to eight overtimes. YEP, that's right,

The soundtrack to your weekend with thirty minute music Marathons
ninety four point seven w ELK.
Speaker 3 (01:13:24):
We are at halftime here in Parsons thirty two to nothing,
Tucker County on top of Pendleton County at halftime the
other way. We do want to let you know that
the WVRC media app is down. It is not a
problem here locally, it is a statewide program. UH. So
unfortunately you aren't able to listen on the app. You
(01:13:46):
can let people know they can tune in at nine
four seven w ELK dot com. And then for those
interested in the Philip Barber game, the game is streaming
uh and you can get the link to that on
the wd and e AM Facebook page. But unfortunately the
app is experiencing some difficult technical difficulties. We are told
(01:14:09):
that is going to be down for most of the weekend.
They are working on it, but again that's kind of
above us. Let's take a look at some college scores
from around the country. Right now, Texas Tech absolutely demolishing
West Virginia. It is forty two to three. Texas Tech
(01:14:29):
on top of the Mountaineers in the third quarter. Other
games going on right now. Number seven Tennessee leading Vanderbilt
twenty four to seventeen in the third quarter. Tennessee does
have the ball in the red zone. Number twelve Clemson
on top of number sixteen South Carolina fourteen to seven
in the third quarter. Duke and wake Forest tide at
(01:14:51):
seventeen apiece. North Texas leading Temple twenty four to seventeen.
Number twenty two Illinois on top of Northwestern twenty eight
thirteen Louisville demolishing Kentucky right now thirty four to seven.
Baylor beaten up on Kansas forty two to seventeen. And
the University of Texas San Antonio leading number twenty five
(01:15:14):
Army seventeen to sixteen at the end of the third
also a good one going on in this rivalry game.
Michigan and number two Ohio State are tied at ten
apiece in the third quarter, so some good stuff. Good
college games going on right now. We are working on
(01:15:35):
getting some scores from high school football around the state
of West Virginia. Lots of playoff games going on. Of course,
we just kind of went through the totals so from
last night. So like I said, we do know for
sure that next week the winner of this game will
(01:15:57):
be taking on the White Falcon of Wahama. And we'll
have to see where that goes and how those games
play out as we work on it here and ah,
there we go. We do have some scores. Let's see
what's going on. A good one going on up in
the eastern Panhandle. Hurricane leading Jefferson right now by a
(01:16:20):
score of twenty two to fourteen. North Marion and Princeton
that kicks off at four o'clock this afternoon. Nitro and
Bridgeport kicks off at four o'clock as well that in
Triple A, Class double a four o'clock kickoff for Bluefield
and Frankfurt, Philip Barber and Independence as well in Class
single a four o'clock kickoff for Petersburg and tug Valley.
(01:16:47):
And that is the only other game going on, so
most of those games are rolling on right now. Hurricane
and Jefferson being played right now along with this one
here again coming up this afternoon four o'clock kickoff Independence
and Philip Barber again. The WVRC media app is experiencing
(01:17:10):
some technical difficulties. It will be down, so if people
want to listen to that game on the line, they
can do that. You can find the link to that
at our wd and EAM Facebook page as well as
listening on the radio at twelve forty am ninety nine
point nine fmwdn E. I'm sure a lot of people
(01:17:33):
from the Phillippi area made the trip down to Cole City,
West Virginia. That is where Independence High School is just
on the other side of Beckley, spent a lot of
time in that area. Field Turf the trusted choice for

Chick fil A recognizes that participation in high school sport

(01:18:19):
in your community shares. A very cold day here, we
had a little bit of snow. We understand there is
a winter weather advisory for later on tonight. Could see
a little bit of snow in various parts of the
area here in Parsons, you know, kind of the lower elevation.
Not a whole lot of snow now. When we got here,
(01:18:41):
there was a I guess a coding on the ground.
The field pretty much now clear of snow. There's a
whole bunch of mud out there right now as the
field has been chewed up up on the mountain, up
around Thomas and Davis and up by the High school Hamilton,
all those areas. They got some significant snow this morning,
(01:19:02):
four or five inches of snow coming down here in
the area, but roadways look to be okay. We are
expecting the extended forecast right now says maybe a little
bit more snow, just an inch or two by next weekend.
So we could be playing if we again. If this
score holds and Tucker County does manage to seal the
(01:19:26):
win up here, they will host Wahama, and of course
Wahama has a choice. They can play that next Friday
if they travel. The visiting team always gets to pick
the day and the time. The home team picks the venue.
So if it is and if it is Wahama at
Tucker County, the White Falcons will have the opportunity to
(01:19:48):
choose Friday night, Saturday at one thirty, Saturday at four o'clock,
or Saturday night at seven point thirty. Quite the trip
from Wahama, basically you kind of go over to Wheeling
and go south for a little while. You know where
pal Molroy, Ohio is kind of right across the river
from there. So aj Rapp has got his squad rolling
(01:20:09):
in the right direction as we are in round two.
Typically speaking, without all that legal mess at the end
of the regular season, we would have been into Round
three of the playoffs right now. But it is only
round two and that's okay. It's just an extra week
of playoffs. Also, want to remind you ninety four point
seven w e Okay is your home for Tigers Valley
(01:20:32):
Bulldog Sports. Of course we've got Tucker County here. During
the playoffs, we will carry Tigers Valley Football and select
boys basketball games, and our first broadcast will come up
Tuesday night, December the tenth, as Tigers Valley has a
whole game against Harman. We'll have that game right here
(01:20:55):
on ninety four point seven W E L o K.
Tucker County has made their way out of the locker room.
They are warming up across the way, and now Pendleton
County finally making their way out of the locker room
as well. Again, a chilly day here, but the sun
(01:21:17):
came out made it a whole lot more comfortable than
what it would have been had that not happened. And
right now, unfortunately, not real comfortable on the scoreboard for
Pendleton County as they trail in this one by a
score of thirty two to nothing. Tucker County on top.
Pendleton County did win the toss. They deferred their options,
(01:21:39):
so they will get an opportunity on offense to start
the quarter here as the teams are out warming up,
they'll put that extra three minutes and we are good
to go. We appreciate Matiki Call, our presenting sponsor keeping
the lights on since nineteen seventy seven, and all of
our other great sponsors. And you know, if there's not

Speaker 3 (01:22:14):
What we'll do, we'll step away for about a minute.
When we come back, we'll take a look at some
numbers and get you into the second half. We are
at halftime Tucker County thirty two, Pendleton County nothing. We're
back in sixty seconds on ninety four point seven. Tell

Home Tucker County Mountain Lion Football on ninety four point

Speaker 3 (01:23:40):
Welcome back to Parsons. Greg White here uh in the
press box hanging out doing our thing. By the way,
score update, West Virginia now trails forty two to nine.
It was a touchdown pass from Garrett Green to Gallagher
went for the two point conversion, could not make it happen,
So West Virginia forty two to nine. Texas Tech in
(01:24:04):
the lead that game in the third quarter. We take
a look at unofficial statistics here in the first half
first of all for Pendleton County seventy yards of offense
in the first half. Quarterback Colton Roverson four out of
eight passing for fifty three yards. Robson also rushed for
seventeen yards, so basically he has accounted for all of
(01:24:27):
the offense here of the Wildcats in the first half.
No penalties committed or check me on that one penalty.
It was a personal foul. Half the distance and that
was about it. So very well played first half by
both teams for Tucker County. They are dominating right now,
(01:24:48):
two hundred and ninety one yards of total offense. Jared
Reeal eighteen carries, one hundred and twenty two yards and
two touchdowns. Quarterback Samuel Mark is eleven out of twelve
passing one hundred and fifty six yards and a touchdown.
Garrett will Fong Lodes leads all receivers six catches with
(01:25:09):
one hundred and nine yards. Read Kaisimore two catches for
sixteen and Jared Real one catch for negative one yard.
The captains have met out at midfield, shook hands and
just as a reminder, as we said, Pendleton County won
(01:25:30):
the toss, they deferred their option to the second half,
so they will start out on offense. First. Who I've
been standing for halftime? I sat down and forgot I'm
sitting on a metal chair. That's a little chilly. Here
is the kickoff. It is a bouncing squibcig battled around
(01:25:52):
and finally Pendleton County almost lost that football as it
went into the hands of Nick Rhodes and he could
not contain it and had to jump on it. He
did manage to corral it. So Pendleton County starts out
first down and ted just underway here with eleven fifty
nine to go in the third quarter, Pendleton County has
(01:26:14):
it first down and ten at their own thirty four
yard line. Roberson looking for some offense. Two receivers to
the left, two to the right. Roberson has roads to
his left, drop back quit fire the pass. It is incomplete,
in and out of the belly of the intended receiver,
(01:26:37):
Chase Owens. Roberson now four of nine. Now here's the
thing about Colton Roberson, the quarterback. He took over in
that position for head coach Zack Smith about halfway through
the season. As a matter of fact, it was back
in the regular season against Tucker County, and he is
(01:26:57):
getting better and better, and you got to deal with
him for a few more years. Now Here is the
wide receiver reverse. It is a toss back to Josiah
Kimball had a little bit of open field and then
that was about it. It folded up and he ran
out of room. As a matter of fact, he may
have gotten back to the line of scrimmage. He actually
(01:27:18):
may have lost a yard. Waiting on the official spot,
he did lose a yard. Back to the thirty three
yard line. Third down and eleven, Pendleton County moving left
to right, three receivers near side, single to the fire side.
Snap comes back to roverson pump fake. Now he fires
(01:27:39):
it looking deep down the field. It is in complete
intended for Owens could not complete the pass, and Pendleton
County's opening possession of the third quarter will result in
a punch again the Mountain Lions. You know part of it.
(01:28:00):
It's a combination that you know, Tucker County's defense is stout,
good pass coverage, particularly in the secondary. You've got Garrett
Willfong floating around back there as the roaming safety. We's
six foot four, so it's really hard to get the
ball over his head. Plus that pass rush by the
Mountain Lions. Here is the punt. It is a low
(01:28:22):
line drive kick fielded out about the forty eight yard
line by Will Fong running to the left, nothing there,
cuts back to the right. He'll get in to Pendleton
County territory and take over out about the forty four
yard line. It'll be first down and ten for Tucker
County leading thirty two to I think exactly eleven minutes
(01:28:44):
to go in the third quarter. They have it at
the Pendleton County forty four yard line. Two receivers to
the right, single to the left, and a wing on
the right. Jared Reel out of the Histol takes the
hand off, looking for running rooms fin move breaks a tackle.
(01:29:05):
Now he's gonna bounce it out time. He's got the
forty thirty five of Pendleton County thirty twenty five and
he's brought down just a little bit shy the twenty
five yard line, but a big run by Jared Reel
takes him down and he's got the first down four
of the Mountain Lions. A big run of eighteen yards,
(01:29:28):
one hundred and forty yards on the ground for Jared
Reel and two touchdowns ten thirty one rolling third quarter
clock Mountain Lions first and ten from the Pendleton County
twenty six hand off, Jared Reel lowers the shoulder and
pushes his way ahead to the twenty yard line. Give
(01:29:50):
him six on that carry an Tucker County pretty much
doing whatever they want to on offense, just finding the hole.
Was running hard, playing hard, two receivers either way, and
a wing on the right high snap back to Samuel
(01:30:12):
Mark's handoff. Jared Reel running hard, dragging tackler stays on
his feet. He's inside of the ten down to about
the six yard line. It'll be first and goal for
Tucker County. Another big pickup of fourteen yards one hundred
(01:30:34):
and sixty yards now for Jared Reel. Clock rolling, nine
and a half to go in the third quarter. Tucker
County with a thirty two point lead, and they are
looking at a first and goal from the Tucker or
from the Pendleton County six handoff. Jared Reel looking to
bounce it outside. Nothing there. Now, He's going to push
(01:30:55):
his way through a tackle and he's going to be
knocked down. Looks to be about the two yard line.
Will wait on the official spot to see officials over
on the far side. Indeed, it is on the two.
A four yard pickup twenty two carries one hundred and
(01:31:15):
sixty four yards for Jared Reel actually put him at
the three clock, rolling eight forty five to go. Third quarter.
Kade wrap in an eye formation with Reel behind him.
The snap goes over the head of Marx. He's trying
to get forton and Pendleton County has recovered the fumble.
(01:31:41):
William Chase on the recovery. As the ball went over
the head of Samuel Marx, he tried to fall on it.
When he bounced on it, it squirted away from him
and the fumble recovered by Pendleton County. So the Wildcats
little something on offense as they have it at their
(01:32:05):
own eighteen yard line with eight thirty four to go
in the third quarter. They trailed thirty two to nothing.
Roberson wants to throw it looking deep down the field.
He's got a receiver wide open, and he overthrew him
pass intended for William Chase, and he could not pull
it down incomplete pass. Roberson now four out of eleven passing,
(01:32:33):
had a receiver Chase had gotten ahead and split a
couple of defenders. Makes it second down and ten from
their own eighteen snapped back Roberson dropped it. Now he
has to go down and pick it up. Now he's
going to run with it, trying to get to the
near side. He's being chased down. He's got the twenty
(01:32:55):
ahead across the twenty to the twenty three yard line.
About a five yard pick up for Roverson. Seven carries
twenty two yards for the freshman quarterback of the Wildcats.
Takes us down to eight minutes to go. Third quarter,
(01:33:15):
thirty two to nothing. Actually spot him on the twenty
four yard line. It'll be third down and about four
Pendleton County with three receivers left single to the right.
Roverson drops back, comes to the near side, the ball
is tipped at the line of scrimmage. A nice job
defensively there by Tucker County, and it'll be fourth down.
(01:33:45):
Red Kaysamore slogs through the mud, stands back about his
own forty five yard line, waiting on the punt from
William Chase. Seven thirty nine to go. Clock is frozen
after the incomplete pass and again Pendleton County just no
offense here this afternoon. Haven't been able to find it.
(01:34:07):
Snap comes back. Here is the kick. It is a
short kick, angles over here to the near sideline, that
is the Pendleton County sideline, and the official runs up
marks it at the forty one yard line, so that
is where Tucker County will take over. First down and
ten at the Pendleton County forty one. Tucker County leading
(01:34:34):
thirty two to nothing, all on the forty one yard
line of Pendleton County. Receivers either way, double tight end set.
Samuel marks out of the pistol with reel behind him,
snap comes back. They put it into the belly of reel,
(01:34:54):
running hard, lowers his shoulder, keeps the legs driving, and
he's going to be pushing his way ahead, gonna be
close to the first down again, the official spot I
think it's going to be about a yarn short put
it at the thirty two yard line, so yep, nine
yards on the pickup. Seven ten to go in the
(01:35:17):
ballgame or in the third quarter, rather thirty two to nothing.
Tucker County on top, single receiver to the near side,
single to the far side. It is a double tight
end set. Real stands to the right of Samuel marks
design quarterback run. He's got the first down. Inside of
(01:35:37):
the thirty knockdown just shy of the twenty five at
about the twenty six yard line, six yard pickup for
Samuel Marks first down and ten ball will actually put
him on the twenty seven. That's what I get for,
(01:36:00):
assuming clock continues to roll. Here six and a half
to go in the third quarter, cad Rapp now stands
to the right of Samuel Marks Reel. Behind both of them,
they handed off to Jared Reel. He ducks under a
tackle and pushes his way ahead to about the twenty
yard line, seven yard pickup, So one and eighty yards
(01:36:28):
unofficially on the ground right for Jared Reel fall on
the twenty yard line middle of the field. Two receivers
stacked up on the right, single receiver to the near
side left. As Tucker County moves right to left. Here
in the third quarter snap they handed off Jared Reel
(01:36:51):
and Pendleton County Waite, and on the hand off they'll
meet him. He will I think manage to get back
to the line of scrimmage, maybe a yard inside of
the twenty two about the nineteen. Yeah, so he got
a yard that will make it third down and about
(01:37:12):
two for Chuncker County. Two receivers right single to the left,
Reel offset to the left behind Marx. They'll hand it
off to Reel. He bobbled the handoff and had to
slow down, and then Pendleton County waiting on him and
they bring him down. They hit him for a loss
back at about the maybe twenty two yard line, so
(01:37:34):
it'll be fourth down for Chunker County. Claw continues to
roll here in this third quarter, four forty five ball
on the twenty three yard line, so it is a
four yard loss one hundred and seventy seven yards now
(01:38:03):
for real, and Mountain Lions are going to go for
two receivers stacked up to the right, to to the left.
Marx fires the pass across the middle intended for Barb.
Nice job there by Chase owens to knock it down
and it is a turnover on downs for Tucker County.
So neither team finding the offense that they're looking for here.
(01:38:24):
In the second half, Tucker County holds along. They've got
a thirty two to nothing lead, but they turned the
football over and now Pendleton County takes over at their
own twenty three yard line with four twenty one to
go in the third quarter. Two receivers near side, single
(01:38:48):
to the far side. Robson out of the pistol, hard snap.
Count tried to get Tucker County to jump play clock
down to five. Robson wants the snap and he didn't
get it off. Did not get it off, So it
is a delay of game penalty, only the second penalty
of the game. Again, a well played game here in Parsons.
(01:39:14):
Tucker County has committed no penalties, Pendleton County only two.
So that'll move the ball back to the eighteen first
and fifteen. Roberson with two receivers right, single to the left,
play action. Now he looks down the field, looking looking
(01:39:36):
he's going to drop back on a fire it deep
down the field, has an intended receiver. It is tipped around,
almost intercepted. Nice job by Kate and Arnold on the
pass coverage he got back there. It hit him in
the belly, just could not pull it in. It went
off of him, almost into the hands of Samuel Martz.
As it stands though, it is an incomplete pass. Roberson
(01:39:59):
now four third thirteen. It stops the clock with four
to twelve to go in the third quarter, and it
is second down and fifteen for Pendleton County. Single receiver
to the near side, three to the far side as
Pendleton County moves left to right, low snap down to Robson.
Tried to throw it, drop the ball, went to pick
(01:40:20):
it up and just had to fall on it. That
ball right in the middle of the mud and Robson
with a snap. It hit the ground when he picked
it up. It obviously was coated in mud, and it's
an eight yard loss. Back to the ten yard line,
(01:40:45):
where it will now be third at about nineteen. Snap
back to Roberson. They want the screen. It comes to
the near side, it is caught and absolutely know where
to go. For Josie Kimball, he will get across the
fifteen up to the eighteen yard line and is an
eight yard pass and catch. So Kimball with the eight
(01:41:11):
yard pickup and it is fourth down and punk time
again for Pendleton County. Kaizamore stands about his own forty
five yard line. Garrett will Fong about the forty of
Pendleton County. Chase the punter at about his five yard line,
(01:41:32):
wants the snap, has it, puts his foot into it,
low line, drive end over end. It bounces out of bounds,
and it looks like from here it's going to step
out at the forty two. It is so Tucker County
with the football on the forty two yard line of
Pendleton County with two forty nine to go in the
(01:41:55):
third quarter. Greg White here in part persons West Virginia
now leading forty five to nine. Firs. Excuse me, Texas
Tech leading West Virginia forty five to nine in Lubbock.
(01:42:17):
First down to ten for Tucker County. They want the pass.
It is caught by Will Fong. He's across the forty
lowers his shoulder, won't get to the thirty five. He
will pick up positive yardage though looks to be about
five maybe six yards on the pass and catch put
him at the They officially got him spotted down at
the forty one, or excuse me, the thirty six. So
(01:42:41):
it is a six yard pass and catch to Will Fong,
who's having a good night. One hundred and fifteen yards
in reception. Second down and four handoff. Jared Reel starts right,
nothing there, comes back to the left. Then they're gonna
hit him, stack him up. He'll get to the thirty five.
That's it. A one yard pickup for Jared Reel twenty
(01:43:02):
seven carries, one hundred and seventy eight yard Samuel Marx
by the way, twelve out of thirteen passing for one
hundred and sixty two yards, one forty to go, third quarter.
It is going to be a handoff Jared Reel running
hard off the right side, trying to get the first down.
He he's got it and more, keeps his legs driving
(01:43:23):
and he will be shoved back, but he will get
down to about the twenty six yard line. It's going
to be a nine yard pickup for Jared Reel one
hundred and eighty seven yards all on the twenty six
yard line of Pendleton County, Tucker County with a thirty
two to nothing lead, clock rolling with a minute twenty
(01:43:44):
to go in the third quarter. Single receiver to the right,
single to the left, Jared Reel out of the pistol.
Marx wants to throw it, drops back wide receiver Screen
will Thong makes the catch. He's got the twenty, the fifteen,
the ten, the five. He's in the end zone. It
is a touchdown for Garrett Willfong and the Tucker County
(01:44:10):
Mountain Lions. A twenty six yard touchdown pass twenty six
yards to Willfong. He's got another, his second touchdown of
the night, and it is now thirty eight to nothing.
Tucker County on top. Two point conversion pending and again
(01:44:30):
Tucker County just no kicker, so they always go for two.
It is a snap and the two point conversion failed.
One minute one second to go here in the third
quarter and the touchdown pass of twenty six yards gives
Tucker County the lead by a score of thirty eight
(01:44:54):
to nothing. We'll be back in thirty seconds. On ninety
four point seven w.

Speaker 3 (01:45:37):
ELK twenty six yard touchdown pass from Samuel marks to
Carrot Willfong two point conversion failed for play drive forty
two yards a minute, forty eight seconds. It's thirty eight
to nothing. Tucker County on top of Pendleton County with
a minute to go in the third quarter. Here is
(01:45:58):
the kickoff fielded out about the seven yard line, up
the far side line ten fifteen twenty twenty five and
it'll be first down and ten for Pendleton County. Fifty
five seconds to go. And looks like Tucker County will
(01:46:26):
take the football and they've got it at their own
twenty seven yard line with fifty five seconds to go,
first down to ten. Roberson floats the past to the
near side. Nick Rhoades makes the catch, cannot keep his
feet going. He may may have gotten back to the
(01:46:48):
line of scrimmage. There is just no way to cut
on this field. No sharp cuts are going to happen.
The pass is completed to Roads, but again no gain
on the play, so it'll be third down and ten
(01:47:10):
or second down in ten. Excuse me snap back to
Roberson once again. He's under pressure. Drop backfires at looking
deep down the field. Pass is knocked around, almost intercepted,
and it is incomplete. So nowhere to go with the football.
Good pass coverage down the field. Incomplete pass stops the
(01:47:32):
clock with fourteen seconds to go in the third and
it is now third down and ten again. Pendleton County
just not able to generate any offense here this afternoon,
but they will be back. Three receivers to the right,
single to the left. Roberson snap looks deep down the
(01:47:55):
field looking for Kimball, goes up Ken I pull the
catch in. He was right along the sideline and he
just could not rein it in. Kimball can't pull it down.
Incomplete pass stops the clock thirty eight to nothing. Tucker
County on top with eight seconds to go, and the
Wildcats to punt it away again looking yep, eleven everybody
(01:48:19):
counting got eleven players on the field. Kaizamore stands at
his own forty yard line chase. The punter has the snap,
drops back, It bounces, it rolls, It is scooped up
at the forty five yard line by Will Fong. Tries
to get to the fifty feet go out from Hunger. No,
he stays on his feet reversus field. He's across the
fifty forty five forty thirty five, thirty, twenty five, twenty fifteen,
(01:48:41):
ten five. Put it in the books. It is a
punt return for a touchdown. Tucker County takes it all
the way back sixty or excuse me, fifty five yards
on the touchdown. Will Fong watched it bounce and then
he returned it fifty five yards for the touchdown. It
(01:49:07):
is now forty four to nothing two point conversion. He
is pending. Like I said, the punt kind of bounced
and rolled around. Will Fong kind of looked at it.
Then he scooped it up at about the forty five
reverse directions and here he went. Now here is the
(01:49:29):
two point conversion. Pushing, shoving, and it is no good.
Two point conversion fails. That will take us to the
end of the third quarter. It is forty four to nothing.
Tucker County on top of Pendleton County. We're back in
sixty seconds on ninety four point seven. W ELK.

Speaker 1 (01:50:53):
The Tucker County Mountain Lions are in the playoffs and
we've got the coverage on ninety four point seven w ELK, a.
Speaker 3 (01:51:02):
Fifty five yard punt return by Garrett Willfong two point
conversion failed and at the end of the third quarter,
Tucker County now leads forty four to nothing. The timing
rules apply. We are now in a running clock for
the remainder of the game. There is the kick off
field at at the fifteen across the twenty twenty five,
lowering the shoulder across the thirty ahead to about the
(01:51:25):
thirty four yard line, And I'm gonna apologize to you.
Pendleton County were in white jerseys and the amount of
mud on I would not want to be the person
washing the jerseys. That was Roberson on the kick return.
So right now it does appear that Tucker County will
be hosting Wahama next weekend. As Pendleton County has it
(01:51:49):
on their own thirty four yard line, first down and
ten with eleven minutes to go in the ballgame, forty
four to nothing, Tucker County on top low snap, they
will hand it off to Rhodes. Rhodes gets one of
his first carries of the afternoon as he gets across
(01:52:10):
the thirty five ahead to about the thirty You know,
it takes them a while to spot the ball because
they literally have to scrape the mud off of it
every time. As he will get it ahead to about
the thirty six yard line, so about a two yard
pickup for Rhodes. He's actually his first carry of the night,
(01:52:36):
and it'll be second down and eight for Pendleton County.
Snap gets past Roberson, he picks it up and he
is immediately slammed down. Lucas Barb waiting on him and
then helps the young freshman up. But it is a
loss back inside of the twenty five looks like about
the twenty four yard line. It goes down as a
(01:52:58):
twelve yard so things going from bad to worse for
the Wildcats. But stand by, there is a flag on
the field, so it is a dead ball personal foul
against Tucker County, dead ball personal foul against Pendleton County.
(01:53:19):
So they do offset and they will replay the down.
So it looked like things getting a little uh oh no,
that was post possession, so it will be third down
and about twenty four. Third down twenty four back at
(01:53:42):
the twenty four yard line. Pendleton County on their own
side of the field, moving right to the left. Got
just a little bit of sunshine peeking out, but it's
on the other side of the field. The good news
is it quits snow and The bad news is it's
still pretty cold out here this afternoon. They'd down and
long third down and about twenty four Pendleton County receivers everywhere.
(01:54:03):
Robson flushed. He's gonna be hit, He's gonna be sacked.
Oh my goodness, at Tucker County defensive line, Kee and
off here as they will sack him back at the
twenty yard line. It is a four yard loss for Roberson.
I'm gonna tell you what though, Again, very impressed with
(01:54:24):
that young man. He has played a weal of a game,
just a freshman, put into a very difficult situation. Running
clock here in the fourth quarter, forty four to nothing,
Tucker County in the lead, snap comes back. It is
the punt. It is gonna roll come laterally and it
(01:54:48):
will not break the forty five yard line. So Tucker
County takes over on the Pendleton County forty three yard line.
So put the ball all on the Pendleton County forty three,
Tucker County in command. They will advance to face Wahama.
(01:55:10):
Thanks they make it the forty four yard line, So
Tucker County will advance to face Wahama next weekend. Again,
that game determined tomorrow, the Doyn't have a meeting down
in Parkersburg and then we'll let you know we will
have the game for you next weekend. Two receivers right
single to the left on first and ten, and before
(01:55:32):
we could get started, a timeout on the field by
Pendleton County eight thirteen to go in the game, forty
four to nothing. Hope Gas congratulates the teams for making

(01:56:19):
Greg White here in Parsons, Tucker County and Pendleton County.
Tucker County ranked number two in Class single A, Pendleton
County at number seven in Tucker County dominating here in
this game as they lead it with eight minutes and
thirteen seconds to go forty four to nothing, coming up
(01:56:42):
at four o'clock this afternoon. A couple other playoff games.
We'll check in scoreboard here in just a minute. At
last report, Hurricane was leading Jefferson. We'll get you up
to date, but ready to play now. As the ball
(01:57:03):
for Tucker County on the Pendleton County forty four yard line,
moving left to right, Barb looks like he is now
in at quarterback and it is a direct snap. It
gets off of the running back's hands. New running back
into the ballgame for Tucker County. That is gonna be Braxton,
(01:57:27):
George and Georgia unable to handle the snap. It'll actually
go down as a one yard loss. So the one
yard loss moves it back second down and actually two
yard loss back to the forty five yard line. Second
(01:57:55):
down and a long eleven call it twelve from the
forty five yard line Pendleton County. Barbed the quarterback. Low
snap comes back, Barb scoops it up out of the mud.
He takes off around the left side. He's got the
forty thirty five thirty stiff arms Attackler twenty five twenty
fifteen ten five, and he shoved out of bounds very
(01:58:16):
close to the goal line. He almost got in there
as Lucas Barb turned something bad into something good. He
scooped the ball up and took off down the far
side line, got it up out of the mud and
he will take it down to the looks to be
about the five yard line. So a forty yard run
(01:58:37):
for Barb, first and goal, first down and ten George
the tailback. Barb in as the quarterback. Two receivers left,
two to the right, first and goal from the Pendleton
County five. They handed off to Braxton George and he
(01:58:59):
breaks the plane. He's in the end zone untouched. So
another touchdown by the youngsters is Braxton George gets into
the end zone from five yards out and another touchdown
right down the field. They go clock rolling to twenty
(01:59:28):
one on the drive. Two point conversion come up, snap
is back. They hand it off to Barb the two
point conversion. Know where to go, six oh seven to
go in the ball game, fifty to nothing, Tucker County
on top. We're back in thirty seconds on ninety four
(01:59:49):
point seven.

Here is the kickoff fielded at the twenty, across the
twenty five and slammed down on the return. I'm not
sure who that is. It's number eighty four, but he's
not on the roster so or at least the roster
(02:01:20):
that we have. But that's okay. WDVU now trailing Texas

the fourth quarter. Clock is rolling with five minutes and
twenty three seconds to go and another time out. Can't

their own thirty two yard line. And we got some
(02:02:53):
new players into the game for the Wildcats as well.
We will do our best to get you their names
and their numbers. It's a two yard run up to
about the thirty four yard line, where it'll be first
down and ten. My problem is I've got too many papers.
(02:03:17):
Second down and about eight for Pendleton County. They drop back.
New quarterback into the ballgame is Connor Hartman, also a freshman,
and he throws the pass. It is incomplete, makes it
third down. Clock rolling here in the ballgame with right
(02:03:43):
at four minutes to go. Pendleton County. Great season. They'll
finish out at eight and four on the year under
head coach Sack Smith. Two receivers to the right, to
to the left. Hartman the quarterback for Pendleton County. We're
(02:04:05):
under four minutes to go. He's got it. Third down
and long. It is a hand off running hard off
the right side, picking up the first down across the
forty five to about the forty seven yard line. So
there you go. Nice job by Pendleton County as they
will take it ahead and pick up the first down.
(02:04:26):
Nice job by Pendleton County. And we apologize we're actually
looking for the young man's name, as we have the
roster from earlier in the season and we're not sure
who that is on to carry. But as it stands.
He took it ahead to the forty six yard line,
so it's first down and ten for Pendleton County. Low snap,
(02:04:50):
Hartman has to scoop it up, takes off running with it.
He comes to the near sight, he's across the forty five.
Fifty gets into Tucker County territory. Brought down at the
forty eight yard line, so it is about a seven
yard pickup. Seven yard pickup for Pendleton County and eighty four.
(02:05:11):
By the way, Greg Smith, he is the tailback into
the ballgame. Names didn't transfer. That's the problem. So Smith
takes it ahead. He gets about twelve yards and then
the quarterback Hartman takes it ahead for eight second down.
(02:05:36):
Quarterback is going to keep it himself. Hartman rushes across
the forty five. He's going to be right at the
first downsticks and he did get it at the forty four.
Give him four yards on the pickup clock, continuing to roll.
Two minutes to go. Ball on the forty four yard
(02:05:59):
line of Tucker County, Pendleton County trailing fifty to nothing.
They have it first down and ten. Hartman the quarterback,
Smith the running back to his left. Two receivers right
two to the left. They handed off to Gregory Smith.
He's going to be hit from behind and broad down.
He'll get about two yards up to about the forty
(02:06:24):
two yard line of Tucker County. That clock continuing to
wind with a minute and a half to go coming
up in our postgame show or at the conclusion of
the game, we'll take a quick break and then we'll
come back and I'll do some quick math, which I'm
very bad at, but we'll try to get you some
stats and then we'll get you back to music. On
(02:06:44):
ninety four point seven w E l K about a
minute ten to go. Hartman the quarterback four Pendleton County
on the quarterback keeper.
Speaker 8 (02:06:52):
He is hit low and up ended.
Speaker 3 (02:06:54):
Nice job defensively by Tucker County. Evan whipped the soft
more comes in, gets down low and up ends Hartman
after a one yard game clock continues to roll ball
at the forty one yard line of Tucker County. Pendleton
(02:07:16):
County has it third down and about eight thirty five
seconds to go in the ballgame, Hartman sends two receivers
to the right tow to the near side, moving right
to left. Pendleton County with the football snap comes back.
They want the wide receiver screen. It is caught at
the forty yard line, spinning and hit down at the
(02:07:38):
thirty eight on the reception is Ryan Tilley and he'll
get about two yards and that is about it, and
that should be it.
Speaker 5 (02:07:51):
It is.
Speaker 3 (02:07:52):
Indeed, the ballgame is over. It was a dominating performance
by Tucker County and the Mountain Lions get the win
here this evening by a final score of fifty to nothing.
They will advance and they will face Wahama next weekend.
We'll step away for sixty seconds, come back quick postgame

Our postgame show gets underway here in Parsons Tucker County,
dominating when here in round two of the Class Single
A Playoffs, they defeat Pendleton County by a score of
fifty to nothings scoring. A touchdown pass to Garrett will
Fong opened up the scoring for the Mountain Lions Jared
Reel then a nine yard touchdown run, then a twenty
(02:10:03):
five yard touchdown run. Quarterback Samuel Mark scored on a
three yard run, Garrett will Fong caught a twenty six
yard touchdown pass, then Garrett will Fong a fifty five
yard punt return. Finally Braxton George wraps it up with
a five yard touchdown run. Unofficial statistics for Pendleton County,
they generated one hundred and eighteen yards of total offense
(02:10:26):
fifty seven on the ground, sixty one through the air,
led by the quarterback Roverson eight carries nineteen yards. He
was also six out of seventeen passing for sixty one yards.
For Tucker County four hundred and forty five yards of
offense two fifty seven on the ground, led by Jared Reel.
(02:10:48):
He carried the ball twenty eight times for one hundred
and eighty seven yards. Quarterback Samuel Marks thirteen out of
fifteen passing for one hundred and eighty eight yards and
