Now let's go live for all the action. Here's Mike
de Pasqual and Greg White.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
And walk inside of Bulldog Field.

Speaker 6 (01:22):
I'm Mike to passual tonight alongside with Emmanuel Smith. Greg
White is on assignment this evening. I believe he's in
Cincinnati watching Mountaineers, getting ready to watch Mountaineers tomorrow. But
we are inside the Randolph County Solid Waste Authority pregame show,
and we are in the final week of high school
football season. And tonight we have the Oakland Golden Bears
from New Cumberland to West Virginia making a long trip

(01:44):
down to Mill Creek against the Tigert's Valley Bulldogs. Oakland
comes into the game tonight tom Manuel with the record
of oh to nine and Tigerts Valley comes into the
game with a record of two and seven. And D'manuel,
it's November eighth. We're really not in warm clothes.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
How about that? I mean, how about that? We got
a beautiful evening the night ahead of us. He told
me it was gonna be cold.

Speaker 7 (02:06):
I'm all layered up I'm like, wait a minute, it's
like seventy degrees in this press post.

Speaker 6 (02:09):
I don't know about seventy degrees, but it's gonna be
a nice evening to night for football. Field actually looks
in really good shape. I was down on it before
the game. It is pretty solid. Uh, you know, we
haven't had much rain. And you know, you're used to
seeing everything on turf at nice next nice fake grass.
It's always looks nice. But our our natural grass surface
here looks really good this evening. And Demanuel, what what

(02:29):
do we know about this Oakland team? First time these
two teams have ever played each other.

Speaker 7 (02:33):
Well, like you said, they come from a long ways
away up there towards the Ohio border. Most of the
teams they've played during the season, well about half their
season has been against teams from Ohio. And when you
look at their records, you know they might come in
here at O nine. But when you look at the
teams they've played, you have Ohio teams that are six
wins or more throughout the season. For those in the
state of West Virginia, they played teams like Madonna, who
they just came off a seven.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Point loss last week.

Speaker 7 (02:54):
So the record might show on to nine, but this
team has played some stiff competition at highest level and
they're going to come in here trying to get their
first one tonight.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:01):
I don't imagine you're gonna want to make a four
and a half hour trip and then hopefully, you know,
try to wish a win to win. But you know,
the Bulldogs come in the night two and seven. They
want to try to end their season on a good note. Well,
listen to what coach Clarkson says here in a little
bit about last week's game at Pocahontas. I think for
most of the Bulldog fans was a little bit of
a downer, you know. I think we went into that

(03:22):
game expecting to pull out the wind.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Didn't happen.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
Bulldogs did not play the greatest football game that night,
came out with another loss, and the manuel we're gonna
come back here in about two minutes with the coaches interviews.
It looks like the Tiger Telly band is going to
start playing a national anthem. So we'll be back in
two minutes here on ninety four point seven.

Speaker 8 (03:41):

Speaker 6 (05:49):
Welcome back inside the Bates Carpet pregame show Who with
coaches and interview.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
I'm coach or Mike the Basketball here with coach CJ.
Clarkson and coach.

Speaker 6 (05:56):
Let's real quickly talk about some highlights from last Friday's
game at Poga Hoas County.

Speaker 13 (06:00):
I think the main highlights after that game, we're just
our two pick six is, you know, nine to seven
from Noah and then ninety five yard six from Jackson
Dread and so I think right now, I think the
only defensive or the only highlights we had from that
game were defensive. I don't I don't know if we
had too many offense and maybe the first first time
touchdown by Isaac Maxwell.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Other than that, that's I think that's all we have.

Speaker 6 (06:20):
It was a tough game, you know, on both sides
of the ball for for you guys. But moving forward,
you got Oa Glenn Golden Bears here tonight. What do
you know about the Golden Bears? You know, four hours away,
long trip for them, So what do you know? First
time I think these twos have ever played each other.

Speaker 13 (06:33):
Yeah, no, I I've watched a lot of film on them.
I think they're a lot similar to us in offensive
game plans. Other than the fact that they have like
a beast formation. They're they're a good running team. You know,
they run the wing t they're traditional with it. They
run their full back a lot. So I think I
think tonight on offense is going to be it's kind
of it's gonna be kind of like looking in the mirror.
They're gonna they're gonna run a lot of the same
things we are, except uh, they're they're gonna probably try

(06:55):
to run a little bit of power tonight than than
we are.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Recap quickly here.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
You your first full season as a head coach, first
full season at varsity level for you, What what can
you say about your your learning experiences this year as
the first time bar Doug.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Man, Well, that's exactly what it is.

Speaker 13 (07:11):
Is just taken every week, week by week and learning
from the mistakes from the previous week. So all I'm
trying to do is is get better every single day.
My first year, There's there's definitely some things I could
have done better as far as as far as being
a little bit more strict, as far as pushing the
boys to be better individuals, and I think that could
have could have had an outcome in some games. You

(07:31):
think about Webster as a one point game, and we
kind of got in our heads early and we were
acting like jerks, and unfortunately we lost by one point.
So I think I definitely could have been a more
strict coach. But all in all, I said, I'm learning.
I've always been a guy who's tried to build relationships
and and keep good rapports with kids, and I think
you gotta you gotta draw a fine line between being
being a friendly coach and and being a coach.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
That teaches you to be a good young man.

Speaker 13 (07:54):
And I think I might have failed a little bit
in that regard this year.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Yeah, it's a learning experience. It's hard for all of us.
Been there too.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
Speaking of the kids, you got four or five seniors
tonight playing their last game probably ever here at Bourbouk Field. Uh,
why don't you mention those four or five kids by
name and what what can you say about them as
they move on to the next their next endeavors in life.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Yeah, you know, we got we got Jackson Drenning.

Speaker 13 (08:16):
He's he's been a leader for us on on offense
and and really defense as well. I mean he's he's
forced a couple of big turnovers for us this year.
So him moving on to baseball and things like that.
We're excited for him, see what he does in the future.
Gavin Martin our center, he's been a big, big anchor
for us this year.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
He's gonna be moving on.

Speaker 13 (08:33):
I'm not quite sure what he's gonna do in life,
but he's that kid's he's he's resilient. I've seen that
kid play with the Bruce shoulder, Bruce Brews ankle, you
name it.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
That kid's out here playing.

Speaker 13 (08:43):
Then you got uh, you got Ryan Berrickman, who's another
one who's resilient. He's he's got a good head on
his shoulders. He plays guard for us on offense, and
you know he's he's he's gonna be one that's gonna
be able to move on and just filling any role
he does in life. Breton harborgas another one. He's I'm
pretty sure that's a grown man playing for us. He
already has a full time job, but he's he starts
him in a linebacker for US, big leader on our defense.

(09:05):
I think he's number two in tackle, so he's he's
a key for us. And then you have Dakota Adams
making his first start tonight. Unfortunately, he was sidelined most
of the year with a fractured amphibium, so we're we're
excited that he's gonna actually get to play a full
game tonight and see what he does. It'll be it'll
be sad to see him go. And then uh Waite Cabinets.

(09:26):
Waite Cabinets tackle on both sides of the ball, the
kids and the kids and animal. And I don't know
what his what his plans are in life either, but
I think I think he's he's gonna be just fine
after release football, and we'll we'll definitely miss him as well.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Well.

Speaker 6 (09:39):
Coach, I appreciate it, and thank you and good luck tonight.
We'll be back in two minutes here on ninety four

Speaker 6 (11:49):
LK Hey, Welcome back inside the Randolph County Solid Waste
Authority pregame show for tonight's week eleven matchup between the
two and seven Tige's Valley Bulldogs and the Ohen Oak
Glenn Golden Bears.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Again.

Speaker 6 (12:02):
For those of you not familiar where Oak Glenn may be,
you know we're down here located in the central part
of the state. If you think about the state of
West Virginia, go in the Fingertip part, the northern panhandle.
It is the northern most high school here in West Virginia.
It's probably about a three and a half four hour drive.
You know, they probably came down through Pittsburgh and then
all the way down I seventy nine to get here tonight.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
And Demaniel, Yes, it's the last week of the season.

Speaker 6 (12:25):
I know you're normally on the Elkins broadcast, so you
get another game next week.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
The Tigers are going to make the playoffs. If you're
coach CJ.

Speaker 6 (12:32):
Clarkson, what do you got to do tonight to finish
this season on a positive note?

Speaker 7 (12:35):
This is all about pride right now. You know, throw
the record out the window. It is what it is. Well,
you're playing for your seniors tonight as a senior night
as well. You're gonna send these boys out on a
good note, a good win if you possibly can, and
continue to build your program.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
So if you coach.

Speaker 7 (12:50):
Clarkson, you stress pride, You stretch your work, you stretch
building your future. Because you're also not only auditioning for
yourselves for next year, but you're auditioning for the kids
that you to bring into the program to help you
continue to build this thing.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
So big night. Yeah, it's a big night for the
Bulldogs I think.

Speaker 6 (13:06):
And you know, like I said, we got Jackson's running
going out on his last game, Gavin Martin, you know
all the seniors he mentioned, they're all gonna go out
tonight have a great season. Well we'll talk more about
each one of those seniors individually as this game goes on.
But you know, you're O Glenn, you're zero to nine,
You've played a very very tough schedule, you're double A.
Obviously you're not going to the playoffs either. What do
you got to do if you're coach Doug Taylor tonight

(13:28):
and the Golden Bears to end their season on a
positive the same thing.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
It's all about pride.

Speaker 7 (13:32):
I mean, you've played some really stiff competition throughout the season,
Like the mentioned earlier, a lot of times they've gone
into Ohio. They played some really good West Virginia teams
as well. So when you look at the over our
record the team they play, I think it was forty
seven and thirty nine, So they played some stiff competition.

Speaker 16 (13:45):
And again they have seniors on their side too.

Speaker 7 (13:47):
There's seven seniors on that side of the ball that
are this is their last game, so you're preaching the
same thing as well.

Speaker 16 (13:53):
And again you're trying to build and when you look
talking to coach.

Speaker 7 (13:56):
Taylor, he feels pretty confident coming into this game as
they're gonna have all their defensive starters back, they got
their quarterback back, so.

Speaker 16 (14:02):
All the pieces are in place for them to try
to pull one out.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Yeah, and you and I mentioned this before the game.

Speaker 6 (14:06):
Looking at it, they got seven seniors fourteen freshmen, so
he's got a lot of stuff coming back for next year.
You know, it looks like real quick, they got about
forty guys on the roster, thirty three of them coming
back next year. So this Oak Glenn team wants to
end this season here on a high note as they
get ready for the coin toss here tonight here Milkrigg,
as we finish up the Randolph County Solid Waste Authority,

(14:27):
Let's go into the starting lineups to advance hearing solutions.
Starting lineups first for the Bulldogs on when they're on defense.
Gavin Martin, Ryan Brickman Wade, Cabinists, Jamal Nesbitt and Aidan
Ferris are gonna line up the front. Austin Gear, Brayden Arbigast,
Isaac Maxwell, Noah Mcattee, Adam Adam Woods would not be
starting on that I don't know who is starting An

(14:47):
Adams slot and Jackson Drennan out in the secondary. When
the Golden Bears are on offense, their front line is
going to be Richie Godino, Jake Bennett, Cole mcgillan he's
a freshman, Nate Edmonds and Cameron Hebrook quarterback, Adams, fullback,
Josh Mayer, halfback Devin Ustack, wide receivers Lucas Zellers and
Evan Clouston, and tight end Christian Chappelle. When the Bulldogs

(15:12):
are on offense, front line is gonna be Brydon Lanham,
Ryan Berrickman, Gavin Martin, Liam Moyer and Wade Cabinets. Lots
of seniors on that offensive line d as they go
for next year. Quarterback Jackson Drenning, Isaac Maxwell is going
to be in a tailback. Elijah Stanley and Noa McAtee
are gonna be the wing backs. Austin Gear is gonna
be out it split end to Aid and Ferris out
at the tight end for Oak Glenn, They're gonna be

(15:34):
in a four to four defense that looks like Greg Sowers,
Richie Godino, Lucas Zellers and Cameron Heabrook is gonna be
your front line linebackers Josh may Or, Evan Clouston, Sam
Wright and Christian Chappelle. At the defensive backs is Devin Eustock,
Glenn Adams and Cameron Carter So Dmanuel last week the season,
you and I both love football. What do the dogs

(15:56):
got to do to win tonight?

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Be dogs have to be dogs.

Speaker 7 (16:00):
I mean the offensive a defensive line have to try
to control the line of scrimmages on both sides. And
you know, I know what is out for Tigers Valley,
but they're gonna have to find somebody to step up
that's gonna, you know, take on that challenge. You can't
put it on Jackson Jennings shoulders. He's gonna have to
have some help to get this thing done tonight.

Speaker 6 (16:16):
And as a reminder, ninety four point seven WLK and
house Hunter's real estates, one of which of Tiger's Valley
cheerleading squad the best of luck tomorrow in the regional
competition at Lincoln High School. If you get a chance,
go cheer on a cheerleading squad from Tiger's Valley. Best
of luck from House Hunter's Real Estate and all of
us at ninety four to seven.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
W elk.

Speaker 6 (16:34):
So right now the captains are out, the mister official
white hat's getting a coin toss ready to flip. Oak
Glenn's gonna call it as a visiting team. Tigerts Valley
and their traditional red trousers, red shirt, red helmet with
the TV on the helmet, white numerals trimmed in black.
Oak Glenn in their road on white uniforms, pewter pants, white,

(16:55):
what is that? Powdered blue numbers with trimmed in gold,
white helmets with a blue og on it.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Coin tosses in the air.

Speaker 6 (17:01):
Oak Glenn's going to decline the further toss, and it
looks like Tigart's Valley is going to probably receive.

Speaker 7 (17:10):
Oak Glenn kind. How's that Chargers powder blue thing going
on there?

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Chargers powder blue, Carolina powder blue. Way there you go.

Speaker 6 (17:18):
I'm not a big fan of the powdered blue. Tiger's
Valley is going to receive the kick and we're gonna
get started here. Tigart's Valley Moving is going to move
right to left on your radio dial would be the
north end zone away from the school towards the fieldhouse.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Friday night lights.

Speaker 6 (17:36):
Baby, oh yeah, we're excited about that. Oak Glenn's getting
ready to come out again. Long drive for the Golden.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Bears the manual.

Speaker 6 (17:44):
What kind does that do to your Ssachi when you
got to sit on a bus for four four and
a half hours and make a trip to away game?

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Ooh, it throws you out of your rhythm.

Speaker 7 (17:50):
I mean because you used to the same type of
routine every week and most of the teams you play
are going to be.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Within an hour, hour and a half when.

Speaker 7 (17:57):
You add that extra two and a half hours to it,
and now what changes whole routine of how you're prepared.
Do you sleep on the bus, do you not sleep?
What do you eat when you eat? So a lot
of different things are gonna happen for them. We're gonna
see how that impacts them here real soon.

Speaker 6 (18:09):
Yeah, And you know, I think it's even different for
a team like Oak Glenn growing up up in the
valley up there. You know, you know, we talk about
long trips hour and a half, those are long trips
for these guys, right you know most of their games
are fifteen to twenty minutes away, exact one of their
longest trips.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
You look at their schedule.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
You know their longest trip this year was probably just
Saint Mary's before this game.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Right here.

Speaker 6 (18:29):
You know, East Liverpool's right across the river, Stutville, Catholt
Central ten minutes down the road, Toronto High twenty minutes
down the road, Madonna twenty minutes down the side. So
you know, this is an exceptionally long trip for this
team from the northern part of the state. It is,
and we're gonna see how they react. But based on
the pregame, I mean, those boys are fired up. They
came here for a reason, and I think they're gonna
leave it out on the field for about four quarters. Yeah,

(18:49):
you and I were mentioning that they came out with
a lot of energy. We didn't see a whole lot
of energy out of Tigerts Valley as they were warming up.
But as they come out here, you got Jackson, Drenn
and Austin gear back deep a long looks like Preston Smith,
And you know this, this Tiger's Valley team, They've got
to come out with some energy. They've been slow starting
this season, and I know you haven't got to see
a whole lot of them, but if they come out

(19:10):
and start early tonight, I think you could see them
put up W up on the game score wardsolutely.

Speaker 7 (19:14):
And you talked about it last week during the broadcast.
So that's something that fans don't necessarily pay attention to.
Is you have to pay attention to what goes on
the pregame. You want to see are they tight, are
they loose? Or do they want to be here?

Speaker 2 (19:24):
You know?

Speaker 7 (19:25):
Are they are salivating at the mouthway to hit somebody?
Those things matter, especially in this sport.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
All Right, Greg Sowers with the kick, he gets it down,
Drennan fields it at about the sixteen yard line. He's
going to tell you it comes up the left hand
side of the field, tries to break one tackle, stiffs
arm a guy, and then runs out of bounds at
about the twenty three yard line. So Jackson Drennan in
offense is going to get started down about the twenty
three yard line, officially going to be spotted.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (19:50):
I gave him two yards on that going to be
officially spotted at the twenty five and that's where the
Bulldogs are going to start tonight's action. Jackson Drennan's going
to be under center tonight for the Bulldogs, playing his
last game on the football team for the Red and White.
You'll see him back on the Red and White if
you come into this stadium here again in this spring.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
He'll be throwing a little white pillar around.

Speaker 7 (20:12):
Heck of a baseball player, that's for sure. And if
I'm not mistaken, I think he signed to play at
Potomach State.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
He signed up Potomac State.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
Yeah, Tigerts Valley comes out and double wings near side formation,
hands the ball off Isaaca Maxwell. Maxwell's gonna take the
ball off the left hand side. He's gonna get hit
and dropped at about the twenty seven yard line. A
couple yard game there for Maxwell.

Speaker 7 (20:31):
Well, good job by that Golden Bear defense to shut
you out. Think to the sidelines, and they're gonna use
the sideline as as their friend, and that's exactly what
they did to prevent Maxwell from get up field.

Speaker 6 (20:42):
Officially spotted at the twenty eight. Gonna pick up three
yards on that second and seven for the Bulldogs come
back out on near side hash mark one wide receiver
to the left sidecar Maxwell Stanley in motions, Stanley's gonna
take the handoff from Drenning, gonna go around and right

(21:04):
out inside, gets nothing, gonna get hit by a host of.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Golden Bears.

Speaker 6 (21:09):
First one to hit him is gonna be Mason lamp
It's gonna be dropped for about a three yard loss
on that play, is Elijah Stanley.

Speaker 7 (21:15):
Yeah, that was again, great defense. They're getting penetration on
these first couple of snaps.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Tigers.

Speaker 7 (21:19):
Valley's offensive line is gonna have to try to man
up and try to prevent that or this is gonna
be a long night for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
Yeah, gonna be a long night for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 6 (21:26):
Indeed, if that happens on the far side, hash mark
third and about a long nine dreading in epistol formation,
Maxwell to his left hand side. Stanley in the slot
snap comes back Drennan looking to throw the football.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Pressure applied by the Golden Bears.

Speaker 6 (21:44):
Drenning comes out to the left hand side, gets out
to about the thirty breaks of tackle right near the
first down marker, right around the thirty thirty one yard line.
It looks like they are gonna spot him for the
first down right at the thirty five yard line.

Speaker 7 (22:00):
Yeah, he got right to the sticks, got just enough
to move those chains. And a good job by Drennan
to recognize there was nothing downfield and just took off
and use his legs and his athleticism.

Speaker 6 (22:12):
Yeah, Drennan with the ten yard carry, ten yard nine
yard gain on that just get just barely gets the
those of the football for the first down. First and
ten Bulldogs from their own thirty five nine to fifty
on a running clock. Here in the first quarter action
Drennan and a pistol Maxwell to the right hand side,
Stanley in the slot with mcate. Drennan takes the hand off,

(22:32):
goes off the right hand side, breaks one tackle, gets
about eight yards on the play, get out to about
the forty one to forty two yard line. Bulldog offensive
line doing a good job on that play.

Speaker 16 (22:43):
And that's exactly what they're going to have to do
this first two plays.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Not so good.

Speaker 7 (22:46):
Last couple. The offensive line stepped up and you see
them creating holes for Jackson.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Yeah, Jackson just took that hand off.

Speaker 6 (22:53):
Was a designed quarterback keeper off the right hand side
seven yard Garrett carry on the play brings up a
second and three first sustained offensive drive for the Bulldogs
of this game nine ten to go. Here in the
first quarter, action wing T formation, Stanley and Mcat are
the backs, hand off to Maxwell. Maxwell takes it right
up the middle. He's hit hard by the Golden Bear

(23:16):
defense number of thirty six. Even Clauston hits him right there.
Maxwell's gonna get about a yard on the play.

Speaker 7 (23:22):
Yeah, it's a great read by Closton. He clugged the
hole up quick and prevented no game.

Speaker 6 (23:28):
They're gonna give him about one on one right, Yeah,
we're gonna give him about one third and two eight
forty turning clock here in the first quarter. Drending in
the pistol, Mcat to his right hand side, gear up
tight under center, two two running backs hand off's gonna
be drending out to the left hand side and nothing

(23:51):
going on on that play. He gets hit hard by
the Bears right there on the sideline.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
Looks like for no game again.

Speaker 16 (23:57):
Great job by that defensive front staying home.

Speaker 7 (24:00):
The defensive ends off so contained as well as long
as he as well as the corner and they're They're
gonna try to do anything they can to prevent that
outside running game.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Of the Bulldogs.

Speaker 6 (24:08):
Yeah, I'm gonna be fourth and two now. Decision time
for coach Clarkson here early in the game. But I
think Demmanuel, with the way you've been playing nothing to lose,
you may as well go for it. Hey, why not?

Speaker 2 (24:18):
This is it?

Speaker 6 (24:21):
Drenning in the pistol formation, mcate to his right hand side,
dual quarterback, direct snap goes to Drennon. Drenning hands off
to Stanley. Stanley trying to find some running room. Nothing there.
He's gonna be hit by Josh Mayer on the turnover
on downs for the Bulldogs is He's gonna lose probably
a yard on that play.

Speaker 7 (24:39):
It's a great defensive stand by the Golden Bears. I
mean they tried to go with the little reverse and
they read it perfectly. Again, what you're seeing now at
Golden Bears defense, everybody's staying home. They're doing their jobs,
and that's gonna make it very, very tough for the
Bulldogs to get north and south this evening.

Speaker 6 (24:54):
Yeah, Oak Glenn's gonna start this opening drive on the
Tigers valley forty two yard line we'll see what they
come out in.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
Again.

Speaker 6 (25:04):
Their starting quarterback is gonna be Glenn Adams. He's gonna
be up under center wing tea just like the Bulldogs
handoff goes to Josh Maher. Mayor's gonna run off that
right hand side of the line. He's gonna get a
few yards, gets down to about the thirty seven yard line,
tackled by gear on that play.

Speaker 7 (25:25):
Well, and the Golden Mayors come in as healthy as
they have been all season. So they got the quarterback back,
They've got Carter, They're healthy in the backfield, healthy upline.

Speaker 16 (25:34):
The only thing he was worried about was his two tackles.

Speaker 7 (25:36):
The only way away about a buck seventy about one
fifty eight. So let's see Attiger's vallely recognizes that he
can take advantage of it.

Speaker 6 (25:43):
Oak Glenn going left to right on your radio doll
hand off this time too, U stalk Ustok's gonna get
the first down and then a couple of yards after that.
It's gonna be gag tackled by a bunch of Bulldogs,
gonna get out to about the twenty eight yard line.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Flag on the play, h.

Speaker 16 (25:59):
Got laundry might be a little extracurricular after the play.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yeah, it looked like a little bit of stuff after
the play. Man.

Speaker 6 (26:09):
It looks like he gets down to about the twenty eight.
It's gonna be about a nine yard game on the play.
It's gonna be a personal foul on personal foul on
the Golden Bears. Yeah, I was a little worried about

(26:30):
that at first. And then we're gonna get a personal
foul after the play on Bulldogs. We got an unsports
and elect penalty on the Bulldogs after for talking.

Speaker 7 (26:45):
You want to be emotional, it's your last game. I
get all that, but you gotta be smart.

Speaker 6 (26:49):
Yeah, And you know there was no need for that
right there. He was just yelling at the official right
after the play. So you know what ends up happening
is you get a first down for Oa Glenn on
the running play. It's gonna be spotted down around the
eight yard line, and then the two personal file penalties
are going to cancel each other out, So no penalty
on the play, really, and Oak Glenn's gonna get first

(27:10):
and ten on the Tigrants Valley twenty eight and really
all that for no reason. As Ustock got a nine
yard carry on that first play with six fifty seven
here in the first quarter of action.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Absolutely gotta be smart.

Speaker 6 (27:23):
Here, Adam's under center in the wing t for Oak Glenn.
Handoff's going to go to Evan Clauston. Klauston's gonna get
hit and he's gonna go backwards.

Speaker 16 (27:40):
It's like we had a bulldog go flying back.

Speaker 6 (27:42):
Bulldog looked like Gavin Martin went flying on that play.
Looks like Bears are going to lose about two yards
on that play. That was Klauston his first carry. A
lot of bulldogs on that place. Six twenty to go,

(28:03):
Oak Glenn moving left to right, ball on the far side,
hash Mark, Adam's under center, and we're gonna have a
flag on the play.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Looks like illegal substitution. Don't see that very often. No
off sides on the Bulldogs.

Speaker 7 (28:25):
And that's the other thing you've got to pay attention to.
The penalties are gonna start adding up, and right now
it's not going the.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
Direction of the Bulldogs.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
No.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
You know.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
Fortunately for the Bulldogs, that first couple penalties they cancel
each other out, so there's no penalty on the play.
But that five yard penalty is going to move to
a second and seven from the Tiger's Valley twenty five
hand off two.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Looks like Mayor again, but maybe that was Sours. I
think it's the Mayor of that time. I believe it
was Mayor.

Speaker 16 (28:54):
Five and a nine look a lot Alke, they sure do,
and I'm powder blues.

Speaker 6 (28:59):
He's gonna run for the first down as the Bears
are in the red zone for the first time. From
the sixteen yard line, Adams up under center, handoff goes
to this time Sour Salers is gonna take it up
the left hand side. He's gonna go back, cut, back
up the middle, and there's I think one, two, three,

(29:20):
four eight Bulldogs trying to bring him down as he gets.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Down to about the ten yard line.

Speaker 6 (29:26):
This Golden Bears team just running the football right now.
This young offensive line for them doing a good job. Absolutely.
We talked about that at the beginning stages.

Speaker 7 (29:34):
And again they might be small up front for the
most part, but it's angles. They're gonna get the angles,
they're gonna get the down field blocking, and Tucker's Billy
is about to do something to counteract that.

Speaker 6 (29:47):
Second and about four from just inside the ten yard line,
Adams under center, Clouston in motion, hands ball off to Mayor.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
Mayor's take it.

Speaker 6 (30:00):
He's going to run down down to about the three
yard line before he's tackled by Gavin Martin.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Martin whistles on the play.

Speaker 6 (30:16):
First and goal for the Bears from about the three
yard line. Maybe the four, yeah.

Speaker 16 (30:26):
Just inside the fives, go closer to the four.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Adams has it.

Speaker 6 (30:31):
He's going to hand the ball off, handed off the
sour sours goes off the right hand side, and your
flag comes in late, looks in the direction of holding,
and it is a hold on the Golden Bears. Good caught,
get caught every now and then I get them right.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
You're in a row.

Speaker 6 (30:52):
Ten yard penalty is going to move the Golden Bears
back to first and goal from about the fourteen.

Speaker 7 (31:00):
Now, can the Bulldogs defense stand up. You've got the
Golden Bears going backwards. This is a huge thirst down
fill in the first.

Speaker 6 (31:11):
Four on a running clock. Here's the Golden Bears come out.
Ball near midfield or center of the field.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
First down.

Speaker 6 (31:20):
Sorry, Adam's up under center. He's gonna hand the ball
off two sours Sour's gonna take it off the right
hand side. He makes a nice cut gets back in
and he's gonna be tackled. Bob Ray darbagast right around.
We got some more whistles. Time out Oak Glenn. We'll

(31:41):
take it with him. We'll be back here in sixty
seconds here on ninety four point seven WLK.

Speaker 6 (32:59):
Welcome back inside a Bulldog Field. I'm Mike's passbal with
Dmmanuel Smith Oak Glenn has a second and eighth on
the Tigerts Valley eight yard line. We have flags on
the play, were and have off sides on Tigerts Valley right.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
After the time out. That's not good.

Speaker 6 (33:19):
Now the officials are talking about it. Maybe we're not
gonna have a flag. Maybe they're gonna wave it off
wee Chelsea Nope. Encroachment on Tigart's Valley Nope.

Speaker 7 (33:34):
So again, penalties are starting to add up for the Bulldogs,
getting this Golden Bears offense a little more momentum and
a little more confidence.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
I mean that's gonna be a four yard penalty. We
got more flags. We got more flags. More whistles.

Speaker 6 (33:51):
We got a lot of whistles we got we got
some upset fans yelling what is it now? You don't
get to hear this stuff because you're in a cozy
press bot up theah.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
This is great right now, I love it now.

Speaker 6 (34:03):
We got three minutes and fifty five seconds ago here
in the first quarter, Oak Glenn's got a second and
three from about the three yard line.

Speaker 7 (34:13):
See, with all the flags that we see during our games,
I started a mount launder business. I'tlet you know that,
so you know everywhere I go, I build facilities based
on flags.

Speaker 16 (34:21):
Looks like we're gonna put one up here in Mill Creek,
might be two.

Speaker 6 (34:26):
We've had this crew a few times this year. This
crew likes to throw a lot of flags.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
I mean, I don't know what would be their last
game too. You never know if they're gonna be playoff
reps or not.

Speaker 6 (34:35):
All right, here we go, second and goal from the
four for Oak Glenn. Adams under center hands the ball
off the Sours, Sours off the left hand side.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
He's gonna get drug and he's gonna drag a bulldog
guy into the end zone.

Speaker 6 (34:49):
Four of the touchdown for Sours four yard touchdown run
four hours on the evening opens up the scoring Oak
Glenn six Tigart's valley. Well, Greg Sowers is one of
the kids that they got back.

Speaker 7 (35:02):
He was a little banged up over the last couple
of games as well, and they were gonna depend on him,
and obviously they're gonna depend on him all al awful
lot tonight.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
Yeah. Greg Sower's already on dece evening. Three carries fifteen yards. Hey,
you want to average about five a carry.

Speaker 6 (35:19):
And the kicker for oak Glenn is Jake Bennett. Holding
for the Bears is Cameron Carter. Snap back kick is
up and it is no good. So we'll be back
here in sixty seconds on ninety four.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Hold up, hold up now, I got a bunch of flags.
Guess what we've got more laundry?

Speaker 6 (35:41):
Okay, off sides on Tiger's valley on the extra point,
so they're gonna rekick it. Maybe rekick last week, this
happened a couple of times and Pocahontas decided.

Speaker 7 (35:51):
To go for two after the half yard penalty? Did
you change your mind and go for two? I mean here,
what yard yard and half away? Yeah, and that first
extra point of ten.

Speaker 6 (36:01):
Looked like you got tipped at the line of scrimmage,
so you might want to go for two here If.

Speaker 7 (36:05):
You're Oak Glenn, I mean you got Greg Sours running
hard average than five yards of pop the lines controlled
the defensive line of Tigers Valley so far in this drive?

Speaker 2 (36:14):
Why not? Why not? What do you gotta lose your own?
To nine?

Speaker 6 (36:18):
All right, Adams comes out under center. You got Sours
in the backfield with Mayor handoff goes as Sour. Sowers
goes off the left hand side, right on end, two
point conversion, good, eight nothing Oak Glenn with three forty
nine left to play here in gol Greek and we'll
be back in sixty seconds here on ninety four point seven.

Speaker 19 (36:37):

safe on your way home from the game tonight.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Let's go Bulldogs and welcome back to Tiger's Valley.

Speaker 7 (37:49):
And on the drought summary that was Greg Sours with
a three yard touchdown run. Also added the two point
conversion draft summary was forty two yards and eight plays
that'll make your score eight zero golden.

Speaker 6 (38:01):
As we come back, Elijah Stanley takes the ball from
the twenty five yard line. On the kick, he's gonna
get down to about the forty nice fifteen yard return
for Stanley on that play, and that's where the Bulldogs
will set up shop tonight for their second possession of
the game, right at the forty yard line on the
near hash with three point thirty nine left to play

(38:21):
here in this first quarter of action, as the Bulldogs
Shirley trail ate nothing to Oak Glenn here on a
beautiful final Friday night of this high school football season.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
This is gorgeous.

Speaker 6 (38:34):
Gavin Martin leads the Bulldog team out of the huddle,
drenning under center Jamal Nesbit in the backfield hand off
to Nesbit. Nesbit's gonna take the ball. He's gonna run
over a Golden Bear. He's gonna get about five yards
on that play. Good hard run by Nesbit on that play,
four or five yards.

Speaker 7 (38:51):
That's a great run and that's gonna be a momentum
starter for these Bulldogs.

Speaker 16 (38:55):
You need that little spark.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Get somebody in there fired enough to get the rest
of his team going.

Speaker 6 (39:00):
Not to be a man of cliches, but it might
be a good old animal fight here tonight.

Speaker 2 (39:05):
We got the Golden Bears versus the Bulldogs. So and
I think golden Bear.

Speaker 7 (39:09):
I think about the bear on the cereal box, remember that?
And wasn't it the Golden Grams? Someone was that was golden?

Speaker 2 (39:13):
That was good.

Speaker 6 (39:13):
See Tigerts Valley comes out ball in the middle field
on their own forty five drunning under center, hand off
to Nesbit. Nesbit takes off the left hand side. He's
gonna be hit and stopped right there at the line
of scrimmage by Sours as he looks him back.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
And for no gain on that play, so.

Speaker 16 (39:30):
Said, I got a little fire in me too.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Bulldogs no gain on the play.

Speaker 6 (39:38):
We're going to bring up a third and five with
two forty to play here in the first quarter of action,
Gavin Martin leaning the Bulldog team out of the huddle.
Nesbit lined up at the full back Stanley and McAteer
of the wings, Drenning under center, gear wide receiver to
the left. Fumble snap looks like Nesbit fell on it.

(40:01):
We'll see what happens. A lot of people in there.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
It looked like a.

Speaker 7 (40:05):
Bulldog first jumped on it. But Golden Bears are down
there scrapping.

Speaker 6 (40:10):
And Jamal Nesbit did fall on that football. Fumble snap
on that play. We're gonna lose abouty yard on that play.

Speaker 16 (40:20):
Well, tiny guy vertically, but big boy.

Speaker 7 (40:27):
We call him the many Things Many Fridge, and it's
gonna be tough to get the ball out of those arms.

Speaker 6 (40:31):
Yeah, Drenning back to punt from his own thirty one
forty five to play back deep is Cameron Carter. Good
punt by Drenning. That's gonna be hit, end rolled, and
it is gonna, unfortunately roll across the end zone. Did
not get a roll there for Drenning. But it was

(40:53):
a great punt by Drenning on that play.

Speaker 7 (40:55):
Great punt and Magottee almost got there. He almost was
able to tip that thing backwards.

Speaker 16 (41:00):
To keep it out of the end zone.

Speaker 6 (41:03):
Great kick by Jackson Drenning, you had a great kick
by drunning. Unfortunately could not get there in time to
down it. It's gonna roll in the end zone and
the Golden Bears are going to start at the Targets
Valley twenty yard line. Ball in the middle of the field.
Bears are going to take over for their second possession
of the evening, leading eight to nothing here in Mill Creek,

(41:26):
one thirty two to play in this first quarter of action.
It's quick first quarter. Don't say that. We don't have
many quick things.

Speaker 16 (41:35):
As I say, you guys usually on there, it's are
like midnight or something.

Speaker 6 (41:37):
Seriously, Adam's under center. He's going to hand the ball
off to Klauston. Klausen is going to take the ball
off the right hand side. He's gonna get five yards
on that play before he's tackled down by the Bulldogs
right at his twenty five yard line.

Speaker 7 (41:54):
You know, Clauston's just a big boy as well, five
nine but one hundred and eighty five pounds and he
runs with power.

Speaker 6 (42:02):
Again, don't forget ninety four point seven wlkn House Hunters
Real Estate wants to wish the Tigarts Valley cheer Leader
squad the best of luck in the regional competition tomorrow
at Lincoln High School. I believe they will perform at
about ten a m.

Speaker 2 (42:16):
That's early. It is early, my goodness, that's early.

Speaker 6 (42:19):
Oak Glenn has a ball near Hashmark on the twenty
five yard line of Tigart's Valley. Adams under center, handoff
goes to Klawson again, Klausen's gonna go off the left
hand side. He's gonna get and run real hard. There's
four or five six Bulldogs. He's gonna get the first
down and more out to about the thirty six yard

(42:40):
line of Tygarts Valley.

Speaker 7 (42:41):
Oh, once again, big back one hundred and eighty five pounds.
What you saw from the Bulldogs right there, they're trying
to tackle up high. You can't go pad level with
these guys. You have to get down low. Take those
legs out.

Speaker 6 (42:52):
Thirty seconds play in this first half for first quarter,
I'm sorry again. Oak Glenn's got to do something they
probably don't have to do a whole lot during the
regular season. They do not have a play clock here
at Tiger's Valley, and I'm sure that most of the
schools of Oaklenn plays that do have play clocks. So
they're got to be watching that back judge when he
puts his hands up and lets them know when there

(43:13):
are five seconds. But it looks like they're going to
run this out. Well, White Hat is getting ready to
walk to the football three two one, and that's going
to be the end of the first quarter here with
Oaklenn leading eight to nothing here on ninety four point
seven WLK see the.

in Mill Creek ought to be your first stop for
everything you're gonna need when you hit the woods.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
Deer attractans like.

Speaker 5 (44:11):
Apple and cherry bomb, lucky buck, trophy, buck, white tailed
trail mix, buck jam, apple crush, and berry block. How
about a deer block and feed. I don't forget three stands,
hunting blinds, and game cameras. Make Liggat Supply in Mill
Creek your first stop. Leggat supply in Mill Creek. If
they ain't got it, you don't need it.

Speaker 6 (44:41):
LK Welcome back inside of Bulldog Field at Tyrets Valley
High School and Mike the Pasketball alongside Themanuel Smith where
the Golden Bears currently lead to Bulldogs eight nothing ball
in the middle of the field, Adams takes off, gives
a handoff to Klauson. Klausen is gonna get it. He
runs right up the middle. He's gonna get into Bulldog territory.
That's heats, takes it down inside the forty five yard

(45:02):
line of Tigers Valley before he's tackled by awesome gear.

Speaker 16 (45:06):
We're just gonna keep beating the same drum again.

Speaker 7 (45:08):
That offensive line for the Golden Bears just actually controlling
that defensive line of the Bulldogs.

Speaker 2 (45:14):
They're not huge up front, but they're.

Speaker 7 (45:16):
Getting the angles and they're also getting the downfield blocking tickers.

Speaker 2 (45:20):
Valley's got to find an answer for that. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (45:22):
Evan Klausen right now four carries thirty six yards on
the evening ball in the middle of the field. Adams
under center for Oak Glenn full house backfield ball, hand
off straight up the middle of the Mayor. Mayor's gonna
take it. He goes down the right hand side, but
there is a flag on the play. He's gonna run
for the first down, but it may be all or
naught as I think this is coming back the withholding

(45:44):
on the play.

Speaker 7 (45:45):
Yeah, I think there was a little grabbing of the
jersey on that left side of the Golden Barre offensive.

Speaker 6 (45:49):
Line, and that is going to be the case. Is
they're gonna move it back.

Speaker 16 (45:55):
The worst part is to play went right so it's
actually away from the play.

Speaker 6 (45:59):
Sometimes that happens. It might have been where he's cut back.
It was a good cutback by Mayor on that play.
They're gonna move it back to the Oak Glenn forty
eight yard line where they're gonna have a first and twenty. Now.
Oak Glenn doing a good job running a football right now.
Eighty yards of offense all on the ground here so
far in this ballgame.

Speaker 2 (46:19):
Well, that's what coach Douga Taylor wants to do.

Speaker 7 (46:21):
They're gonna depend on the run game and they're gonna
try to set up the play action, so don't be
surprised at some point they don't try to catch the
bulldog sleeping.

Speaker 6 (46:28):
Adams has the ball, he takes a snap, hands it
off to Clauston. Klassen is gonna get hit right in
the middle by Wade Cabinets. That's gonna go for no game.
Wade Cabinets was having none of that on that run
this time as he takes down Evan Clauston for no game.
Great read, Great play by the senior. Yeah, Wade Cabinets's
last game. He's one of the five seniors for this

(46:49):
Bulldog team. One to come out make some noise, and
he made some noise there. Wade did not get to
play last year. Come out this year. He's having a
nice season for these Bulldogs. Second in twenty from the
Oak Glenn forty eight ten to twenty to play here
in his first half, Adams under center, full house, backfield,

(47:11):
snap is away.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
He's gonna fake the pass as you mentioned, play action.
He's gonna be chased.

Speaker 6 (47:16):
He's gonna be sacked for lost by Noah McAtee down
around the forty two yard line.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
Good play by Noah macatee.

Speaker 7 (47:23):
Mcattee was having none of that again, stay at home
made the correct read, made a huge play for this
Bulldog's defense.

Speaker 6 (47:29):
Yeah, great read there by. Noah Mcattee is gonna bring
up a third and forever for Oak Glenn. Third and
twenty six from the Oaklenn forty two yard line on
this near side hash marble.

Speaker 2 (47:41):
And this is an Oak Glenn team that does not
throw the ball a whole lot.

Speaker 6 (47:44):
We talked to coach Clarkson about that Wednesday night on
the kickoff and he'd mentioned that, you know, Max Preps
usually doesn't have the most impressive stats, but they only
threw for about one hundred and fifteen yards on the year.

Speaker 16 (47:54):
Well, most teams don't have a play for third and
twenty six, No, they do not.

Speaker 6 (47:58):
Adams under center takes the snap, fakes the hand off
to Klouston, tries to find knee screen. The screen is
there for Mayor. Mayor's gonna catch that ball. He's got
all kinds of running room down the left hand side
or right hand side of the field, and he's gonna
pick up a chunk of that twenty six and he's
gonna be taken down back inside a Bulldog territory down

(48:19):
around a forty yard line. Actually gonna be down closer
to about the thirty seven yard line.

Speaker 7 (48:24):
I stand corrected. Maybe there's a play in the playbook
for a third and twenty six. Yeah, it's called a screen, absolutely,
and they ran it to perfection.

Speaker 6 (48:34):
Gonna be about fourth and four for the Bears from
about the thirty six and a half yard line. We'll
call it the thirty seven eight forty to play here
in the first half of action.

Speaker 2 (48:46):
Have to dig deep. If you're a Tiger's Valley, you
need to get these Golden Bears off the field. Yeah,
get them off the field.

Speaker 6 (48:51):
I look to see a handoff to Klauson or Mayor
and we're gonna have a time out. We'll take it
with him. We'll be back here in sixty seconds. On
ninety zero point seven.

Big fourth down play coming up here for the Bulldogs.
As Adams takes the snap under center, he hands off
to klaus and Klausen is gonna get it. He's gonna
be close to that first down. He gets past that
first down marker, ball is out and it looks like
I think he got it back and it looks like
OA Glenn got Oaklen's gonna recover their own fumble. It's
gonna be first and ten Oak Glenn as Evan Lawson

(50:33):
takes that football, runs down and left the right hand
side of that line, gets the first down and more
looks like he's going to be spotted at about the sixteen.

Speaker 2 (50:45):
That was a great job with two twenty six.

Speaker 7 (50:48):
Nate Edmunds to be alerts when that ball hit the ground,
was able to jump on it quickly.

Speaker 2 (50:53):
Let's keep this Golden Bear drive going.

Speaker 6 (50:56):
Golden Bear's leading eight to nothing here with eight minutes
to play in the first half. Acts Adams goes under center,
has Mayor, Sours and Klauson in the backfield. Handoff goes
to Mayor. Mayor off the right hand side. He's got
a lane. He's got a lane all the way down
into the end zone. Touchdown, Golden Bears.

Speaker 7 (51:15):
He had this great blucking up front, but that right
side of the offensive line thro Glenn and Mayor goes
in virtually untouched.

Speaker 6 (51:23):
Yeah, Josh Mayor took that ball off the right hand
side and went twenty six yards all the way into
the end zone and gets the Golden Bears a fourteen
and nothing lead here with seven forty six to play
in this first half of action, and again we talked
about the tough schedule that Oakland played throughout the year
to get them ready for a ball game like this.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
Absolutely, I mean there's things matter.

Speaker 7 (51:43):
Again, you can't necessarily look at the record, look at
the competition that they've played, both in state and out
of state, and last week against a very good Madonna team.
I mean, a couple of mistakes away from maybe time
that ball game up, or maybe even pulling off the.

Speaker 6 (51:56):
Upset Adams under center for the two one conversion hand
off the sours sowers off the right hand side. He's
gonna go in, but there's gonna be a flag on
the play. Looks like it's gonna be in the area of.

Speaker 2 (52:08):
Holy or laundry. There's been a lot of flags in
this game. Maybe you're just cursed. I mean, that might
be what it is.

Speaker 7 (52:16):
But you know, as I'm building facilities, the line, the pockets,
and the wallet, Mike, I understand, I'll give you a discount.

Speaker 2 (52:31):
It was one.

Speaker 7 (52:37):
Yeah, Oaklen just kind of shooting themselves in the foot
every once in a while.

Speaker 6 (52:40):
Here, every now and then they shoot themselves in the foot.
It's gonna be looks like a hold, illegal use in
the hands, the hands of face, something like that. But
now you're gonna have to attempt that two point conversion
from the thirteen yard line rather than the three yard line.

(53:02):
Fourteen nothing bears here as they go for the two
point conversion, Adam's in the pistol snaps back. Adam rolls
out to his right, tries to find a golden bear
in the end zone. Looks like it is silad for
the two point conversion. It is good Oak Glenn now

(53:25):
up sixteen to nothing here with seven forty six to plane.
We'll be back in sixty seconds here on ninety four
point seven.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
Wok.

And welcome back to Tiger's Valley High School.

Speaker 7 (54:44):
That was an eight play eighty yard drive for the
Golden Bears, and that was capped off by a twenty
six yard I'm sorry sorry. It was capped off by
a twenty six yard gain and touchdown for Josh Mayer,
which was followed up by another two point con version
caught by sours from Adams and I'll make your scores
sixteen to nothing.

Speaker 2 (55:02):
Oakland.

Speaker 6 (55:03):
Preston Smith takes the kickoff from around his fifteen yard line.
He's gonna get out to about the twenty five.

Speaker 2 (55:10):
The kick from Josh Sowers.

Speaker 7 (55:15):
No, if you're Tiger's Valley, you've got to find some
type of momentum on this drive because this could be
the most crucial drive of the game.

Speaker 6 (55:23):
Yeah, you gotta have some offensive momentum, which is something
that Tigers Valley has not had a whole lot of
this year. As they're going to start this drive down
sixteen to nothing, gotta go seventy five yards to get
a touchdown. Seven point thirty eight to play here in
this first half. As they're going to take the ball
on their own twenty five on near side, hash Mark
moving left to right, Drennan going to take the snap,

(55:44):
hands it off to Stanley. Stanley's gonna try to get
out to that left hand side. He's got a little
bit of a crease close quickly, and he's gonna get
about a yard.

Speaker 2 (55:53):
If anything on that play.

Speaker 7 (55:54):
Going again, the guy that just scored a touchdown, Josh
Mayor did a great job on defense to string the
running back outs to the white side and just nothing
there as far as trying to get up filled.

Speaker 6 (56:06):
Now, that looks like he's gonna get about a yard
on the play is Stanley. He ran about forty yards
to get one.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
And that's exactly what's happening.

Speaker 7 (56:16):
They're running side to side, east and west instead of
north and south, and that's not gonna get you very far.

Speaker 6 (56:20):
Yeah, he had a little bit of a crease on
Matt decided to try to extend it instead of cutting
it up field. Second and nine from the twenty six.
Drenning in the pistol. This time, he fakes the hand
off the Stanley and he's gonna come around on the
right hand side of the line. He's got a couple
down the yard about the thirty five yard line, close
to the first down marker. Drennan's gonna take that ball.

Speaker 7 (56:44):
That was a good job by number eleven. No magattee.
That lead the way there for Drenning and they are
gonna give him the first down. He's gonna spot him
right at the thirty five yard line. First and ten
now for the Bulldogs six forty on a running clock.

Speaker 16 (57:00):
Stop whistles, more whistles start stop there we.

Speaker 2 (57:03):
Must stead he ran out of bounce.

Speaker 6 (57:06):
All right, six thirty eighth to play near side hash
mark first and ten from the thirty five Drennen and
mc tee in the backfield, both of them called for
Drennen has it. He's going to take the hand off.
He's going to be hit in the backfield by a
host of bears led by loosen Reese.

Speaker 2 (57:25):
On the play.

Speaker 7 (57:26):
Yeah, that was a great read again by that defensive line,
and right now they're just shooting the gaps.

Speaker 2 (57:31):
I mean the scene as the bass snapped that defensive line.

Speaker 7 (57:34):
This just firing off the ball getting in the backfield,
and these backs are having a very tough time getting
out of that.

Speaker 6 (57:40):
Yeah, Drennon's gonna get hit with about a five yard
loss on that play. Now to about the thirty yard line,
ball still on the near side hash six ' ten
on a running clock here in the first half on
a very very comfortable evening here on November eighth in Milkork.

Speaker 2 (57:54):
Isn't that crazy? It is crazy?

Speaker 16 (57:56):
Maybe grilling for Thanksgiving on that on the deck.

Speaker 6 (57:58):
There we go Drennan in the pistol, Maxwell too, has
left the inside bad snap. Drennen recovers, He's going to
roll out to his left, just going to keep it,
trying to get as much.

Speaker 2 (58:09):
As he can.

Speaker 6 (58:09):
He's gonna get it, and runs out of bounds near
the initial line of scrimmage. This Golden Bear defense does
a good job of pursuing the ball and getting great
angles onto play. Looks like he's gonna get him right
about thirty five. They're very discipline on defense. Their dns contained,
their cornerbacks contained. There's not many running lanes they're going

(58:33):
to open up for that Bulldogs offense.

Speaker 2 (58:35):
No, there have not been. Right now.

Speaker 6 (58:39):
Oak Glenn Leeds sixteen to nothing here in week eleven
of the high school football season. Final week of the
regular season here in West Virginia, playoff starting next week.
Just crazy season flew by Drennan in the pistol Maxwell
to his left. Drennan drops back. He's looking to his
right now he's being chased. He's running around. Got a

(58:59):
nice screw I mean by the white cap, and he
does a great job of throwing it out of bounds
on this sideline to avoid the sack.

Speaker 7 (59:08):
Again, drending runner for his life as that line just
cannot hold this defensive line of the Golden Bears. Coach
Taylor very aware of that before the game. He knew
that basically the offense was built around Drennan and if
they control number three, they could control this ball game.

Speaker 6 (59:26):
Yeah, penalty on the play was a hold onto Bulldogs.
Coach Taylor and the Golden Bears are going to decline
that penalty as that brings up a fourth and ten
as drend is going to be standing.

Speaker 2 (59:39):
Deep in his own zone for the punt.

Speaker 6 (59:43):
His last punt was very good, almost penned Golden Bears,
very very deep. This time he's going to receive the
punt from about his own twenty.

Speaker 2 (59:51):
And he's not even better here. Punt is away, high kick,
angling here towards the near.

Speaker 6 (59:57):
Side, and it's just going to roll out of bounds
at about the thirty two yard line.

Speaker 7 (01:00:06):
It's a good job by dreading because there was a
gunner coming off the edges there that nearly got his
fingertips on it.

Speaker 6 (01:00:14):
Yeah, Jackson's been punting since Adam Woods has been hurt.
He does a good job for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 7 (01:00:22):
That's a huge loss when you have a kid like
that that's on the sideline versus being in dressed in
pads definitely puts a damp on your offense.

Speaker 6 (01:00:31):
Thirty two yard punt for Jackson. On that Oaklynn's gonna
take over near side Hash in their own territory from
the thirty three yard line. Mcgillan leads the white clad
Golden Bears out. Adams takes a snap. He's gonna hand
it off to Klawson. Klawson's gonna go straight up the middle.

(01:00:51):
He's gonna get hit by Aiden Ferris and he's gonna
pick up about five on the play gets out to
about the thirty eight yard line.

Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
Well, and you're seeing the difference. We talked about the line.

Speaker 7 (01:01:03):
But there's four or five bulldogs right there and running
backs still standing up.

Speaker 2 (01:01:08):
Can't get him on the ground. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:01:10):
Evan Klausen doing a great job to night seven carries
fifty two yards. He's a workhorse for this Golden Bear team. Again,
those of you not familiar where Oakland's ad is in
the northernmost school in West Virginia.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
I just keep saying that because you're from there. Na,
just keep I didn't know.

Speaker 6 (01:01:31):
Josh Marra takes that handoff, goes off the left hand,
right hand side of the line.

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
He's gonna get the.

Speaker 6 (01:01:35):
First down in about a yard after everyone was spotting
down out about the forty four.

Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
Pick up of about six on the play. I mean,
we talked about it. I mean, again, they may be
to nine, but the type.

Speaker 7 (01:01:51):
Of competition that they've played and seen throughout the year
prepares you for a game like this.

Speaker 6 (01:01:56):
Yeah, you look at their schedule. I mean, the only
the only team that's probably not gonna make the playoffs
on this schedule is we're high, and I think Saint
Mary's might even squeak in in a single way.

Speaker 7 (01:02:06):
Yeah, it looked like they had a chance, but I
mean they played a very good Tyler consolidated team.

Speaker 2 (01:02:12):
You know, Madonna.

Speaker 6 (01:02:14):
Adams with the snap hands off the Klawson Klausen's gonna
go off the right hand side again, he's gonna get
right out the midfield marker tackled by Isaac Maxwell about
a six yard carry on the on the play for Clawson.

Speaker 7 (01:02:31):
And what you don't want to see if you're a
Tiger's Valley fan is number eleven over there limping, which
is Noah mcazee. I'm not sure if you got that
leg rolling up on or what happened, but he's in
some pain back there.

Speaker 6 (01:02:41):
Yeah, we've pretty much had very few injuries this year,
but the ones we've had have in the big adams
In takes a snap this time, hands off the Mayor, Mary,
goes right up the middle and he's gonna get about.

Speaker 2 (01:02:53):
Twenty yards eighteen yards on.

Speaker 6 (01:02:55):
That play goes right up the middle before he's tackled
by Braydon Armagas.

Speaker 7 (01:02:59):
Just a great quick hitter. Bo Glenn that Tiger's Valley
defense was not prepared for it. As they were looking
at the backfilm at Clauston, you want to get about
eighteen on. It looks like you're gonna be spotted about
thirty two and we've got a time out. We've got
timeout Tiger's Valley. We'll take it with them. We'll be
back in sixty seconds here on ninety four point seven.

I want to know why we didn't get invite. We did.
We just decided not to go.

Speaker 6 (01:04:49):
Okay, Oaklenn has a ball from the Tiger's valley thirty two.
Adams takes the snap, hands the ball off the mayor.
Mery goes off the right hand side. He's gonna pick
up the first down and more shot. King flag comes
in on the play. Well, I'm gonna be a face
mask more than likely.

Speaker 7 (01:05:05):
Same play, quick hitter, little dive, play up the middle
to mayor defensive front.

Speaker 2 (01:05:10):
Ready for it. I think you're gonna be right, my friend.

Speaker 6 (01:05:15):
You know, it looks like he's gonna get about twenty on
the play. It looks like they're gonna spot him at
around to twelve and we'll see where the penalty will
take them. It's gonna be a face mask penalty on
the play. Looks like they move him to about the six.

Speaker 7 (01:05:33):
Well, the other thing for both teams too, is or
in the second quarter nearly almost a halftime. You also
have to figure out how the referees are calling this
game and adjust.

Speaker 6 (01:05:46):
It's gonna be first and goal hand off to Klauson.
Klausen is gonna go right off the right hand side.
He walks into the end zone for another golden Bear festing. Yeah,
I think I could have scored that time.

Speaker 7 (01:06:01):
Untouched off that right side. And again, what's been very
impressive about this team is how well they block and
how disciplined they are on defense.

Speaker 6 (01:06:16):
Yeah, great blocking up front by this Oak Glenn team.
As they now have a twenty two to nothing lead
here with three to zero one to play in this
first half, this time gonna kick the field goal. We'll
try to attempt the extra point. On the attempting the
extra point is Jake Bennett. First one he attempted was

(01:06:41):
partially blocked, but there's a penalty on play, and there's
gonna be a penalty here again too. This time he
gets a snap down, kick us up and good and
they're gonna knowing the penalty extra point is good. So
with three to zero one to go here in the
first half, action Bears lead twenty three to nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
We'll be back in sixty seconds. Here ninety four point
seven wok.

Speaker 19 (01:07:02):
At my age. I know what's worth worrying about and
what's not. And that perspective makes enjoying life easier. But

Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
Ninety four point seven w E.

Speaker 7 (01:08:04):
Lk Elkins Heah Welcome back to Tigers Valley High School.
Scoring summary of that time with six play sixty seven yards,
which was capped off by a six yard touchdown run
by Evan Clauston.

Speaker 2 (01:08:17):
Extra point at ten was good by Jake Bennett. That's
gonna make.

Speaker 7 (01:08:20):
Your score now twenty three zero Golden Bears over the Bulldogs.

Speaker 6 (01:08:25):
You know, the kick by Josh Mayer is gonna go
out of bounds. Sorry not Josh mayor Greg Soers. It's
gonna go out of bounds.

Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
So tigarts. Valley's going to receive.

Speaker 6 (01:08:33):
That at the thirty five yard line and that's where
they're going to start this third, fourth possession of the night.
And so far on in the evening, not much offense
to talk about. If your targets Valley is they only
have thirty one yards offense tonight with three zero one
to play here in the first half.

Speaker 7 (01:08:54):
It's been an outstanding performance by the Oakland defense, but
this offense has got to find some type of rhythm
and soon.

Speaker 6 (01:09:01):
Yes Bulldogs come out far side of the field on
their own thirty five snap back dreading Drenning in the pistol.

Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
He's being chased around. He's going to run. Nowhere to go.

Speaker 6 (01:09:11):
He's gonna try to run up that right sideline, left
sideline before he's chased out of bounds by Klauson.

Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
He's going to get about three yards.

Speaker 6 (01:09:19):
On that play, actually closer to yeah, no, three hours right,
first time, go with your good Now, sometimes the officials
kind of screw you up. They want to try to
spot the ball where it's really not.

Speaker 2 (01:09:32):
True.

Speaker 6 (01:09:33):
True again, I am Mike the passball with the Manuel Smith. Tonight,
Greg White, our normal play by play guy. He is
out and joining the weekend with his wife. This game
was scheduled as it was supposed to be an original
bye week for the Bulldogs. Drenning comes out in the
pistol second and seven from the thirty eight yard line.

(01:09:56):
Maxwell to his right, Drennan looking to his right, being
chased by a couple bears.

Speaker 2 (01:10:01):
This time he's gonna keep it and he's gonna get.

Speaker 6 (01:10:03):
Drilled, and he's gonna get hit hard and knocked down
by Cameron.

Speaker 2 (01:10:07):
Hebrook on to play. They threw a flag into play.

Speaker 7 (01:10:10):
I think they're gonna I'm not sure if they're gonna
call it targeting or what, but look like a good
hit from here.

Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
They're gonna call on sportsmanlike on to play that too.

Speaker 7 (01:10:21):
I mean, it's kind of hard not to celebrate a
hit like that because that's a football player.

Speaker 2 (01:10:25):
You want those type of hits. Yeah, I think it
was a good hit.

Speaker 6 (01:10:29):
There was no gain on the play, and they're just
gonna tack onto fifteen yards and I think it's gonna
be basically, like you said, the celebration more than anything.

Speaker 2 (01:10:42):
Right.

Speaker 7 (01:10:43):
Well, the theme of the first half of Tickers Valley
is Jackson Trendon is literally running for his life. It
seems like whenever you play yeah, and you cannot have
your quarterback taking shots like that.

Speaker 6 (01:10:54):
No, that's only gonna be the third first down of
the evening for the Bulldogs as they are finally in
Oak Glenn and side of the football field for the
first time this evening. First and ten Bulldogs from the
Oak Glenn forty seven near side. Hash Mark moving left
to right, heading towards the school, Drenning in the pistol,
flanked by Maxwell, two receivers to his left. Dropped back again.

(01:11:19):
Drennan running for his life. This time he's throwing the
ball away, finds Gear. Gear's gonna drop the pass at
the forty yard line, but he did have Gear open
on that play and Gear just dropped it.

Speaker 7 (01:11:30):
Great job by Jackson dreadin to scramble away from the
pressure once again. As he rolled to his left, somehow
got the ball off. It hit Austin Gear right in
the hands and Austin just dropped it.

Speaker 6 (01:11:41):
Yeah, he hit Gear right in the hands and he
just dropped it. I think Gear was trying to run
before he caught that football. Call him yards after catch
for a reason. Gears got to catch that football and
run off the sideline. He had some room to run too.
Demandel on that play you got that year.

Speaker 7 (01:11:55):
I think there was also some footsteps coming that direction
as well.

Speaker 6 (01:11:58):
Second and ten from the oak Glenn forty seven running
a pistol, one receiver to the left or one receiver
to the left, three to the right, running draft.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
Backs looking to his right, finds Ferris.

Speaker 6 (01:12:08):
Ferris goes ball right through his hands and we got
a flag in the middle of the field in the
area of holding.

Speaker 2 (01:12:19):
Let's see what happens. We talked about it.

Speaker 7 (01:12:23):
I mean, you have to make adjustments to how the
referees are calling the game.

Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
I've never seen that call before.

Speaker 7 (01:12:32):
I'm not sure exactly what that was, but he looked good.
I don't know, could have been a new dance move tape.

Speaker 2 (01:12:41):
Sure what that was.

Speaker 6 (01:12:42):
It looks like Tiger's valley is going to be moved
back to their own thirty eight.

Speaker 2 (01:12:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:12:47):
Nonetheless, whatever it was was a fifteen yard penalty on
the offense. I don't know why the official told you
to run the clock because it was an incomplete pass,
wasn't it?

Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
It was he?

Speaker 6 (01:13:02):
It was indeed girls basketball coach Adam Smith, former basket
fotball coach here for the Bulldogs, knows.

Speaker 2 (01:13:07):
The rules and he's as confused as we are.

Speaker 6 (01:13:10):
Drenning in the pistol, second and twenty four of the Bulldogs.
He drops back this time, has a clean pocket and
the ball is picked off.

Speaker 2 (01:13:17):
Who's picked off by?

Speaker 6 (01:13:20):
I don't know the number, but he's gonna go clear
down into the end zone. I do not have a
name for that young man, but he picked Drenning off
out about the fifty yard line.

Speaker 7 (01:13:27):
Trying to see who it was from here happened on
the far side.

Speaker 6 (01:13:34):
Looked like number fifteen picked it off, but I don't
have a fifteen on the roster of nineteen.

Speaker 2 (01:13:38):
Is there a nineteen?

Speaker 22 (01:13:38):
There's a nineteen Cayden, Richie Cayve and Richie picked it off,
and again, great job by Jackson to find gear, just
wear right off his fingertips, right into the hands of
the defender and down the sideline.

Speaker 2 (01:13:49):
He went, Yeah, he's.

Speaker 6 (01:13:54):
Going to take it clear down to the two yard line,
and that's where Oak Glenn will start this next drive.
With one forty five here in the first half of action,
Adam's under center. He's gonna hand it off the sours.
Saler's gonna take it. He's gonna scamper two yards in

(01:14:15):
untouched for the touchdown for the Bears twenty nine nothing
now here with a minute forty to play in his
first half of action.

Speaker 2 (01:14:24):
In Mill Creek.

Speaker 7 (01:14:25):
Well, right now, Tigers Valley looks and is playing defeated.
I mean the interception happened off the tip and what
caught my immediately there was four Bulldogs literally walking down
the field as the Golden Bears are running down the sidelines.

Speaker 6 (01:14:40):
Yeah, and coach Clarkson was hoping that was something that
did not happen tonight in this ballgame. He was hoping
that they would not be defeated if a couple bad
things happened.

Speaker 2 (01:14:49):
Jake Bennett out for the extra point. We got a
whole bunch of flags on the play, and I think
that right.

Speaker 16 (01:14:56):
Side of the defensive.

Speaker 2 (01:14:58):
Line jumped again.

Speaker 6 (01:15:05):
A lot of penalties for this bulldog just playing undisciplined
football right now tonight, as it's twenty nine to nothing
Oak Glenn here with a minute forty in this first
half action as then it comes out of the game,
as they get half a yard closer to this, it's
going to be the two point conversion attempt is going
to occur about the one and a half yard.

Speaker 2 (01:15:26):
Line right now. It's all mental.

Speaker 7 (01:15:28):
There's no other there's no other explanation. It's one hundred
percent in mental.

Speaker 2 (01:15:33):
Tigers. Valley has the athletes right now.

Speaker 7 (01:15:36):
You just have to get out of your own head
and you've got to go into halftime here at a
minute and forty, and you've got to find a way
to come out in the second half and chess and pride.

Speaker 6 (01:15:44):
Adams takes a snap, he drops back, he finds Josh
Mayer Indian zone for the two point conversion. Thirty one
nothing Oak Glenn is we're gonna take a sixty second
break here on ninety four point seven Wlkay fall is.

Speaker 7 (01:17:03):
And welcome back to Tiger's Valley High School. They drive
summary two plays one or two yards in one place.
Sorry about that, And that was a touchdown run of
two yards by Greg Sours. The extra two point conversion
was good off the pass from Adams to Mayor, which
is now going to make your score thirty one zero
Golden Bears.

Speaker 6 (01:17:24):
On the ensuing kickoff, Elijah Stanley takes the ball about
the thirty yard line. He's going to take it up
to about the forty two of Tiger's valley, and that's where.

Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
The Bulldogs are going to start this possession. Stanley's going
to get about eleven yard twelve yards on that play.

Speaker 7 (01:17:41):
And again that possession was set up by the interception
by Kayden Ritchie.

Speaker 6 (01:17:51):
We got an officials time out as they try to
get the kicking t you off the field. That young
man's getting to work out, Yeah, he is kicker ki
kick t return guys getting a workout.

Speaker 2 (01:18:03):
That's not a good thing if you have more yards
a game. Bulldogs come out.

Speaker 6 (01:18:09):
In the traditional wing T formation, Drenning under center, Maxwell
in the backfield, mc tee and Stanley are the wings.
Tries to pass. He's gonna find a pass, find Stanley
in the middle of the field. He's gonna get it
for the first down. I gonna get about twelve on
that play. Nice passing catch for Drenning to Stanley on
that play the Glen territory.

Speaker 2 (01:18:31):
The offensive line held up.

Speaker 7 (01:18:32):
They gave Jackson some time to survey the field, make
the right read, good throw, good catch.

Speaker 6 (01:18:38):
Yeah, thirteen yard passing catch on the play for the
Bulldogs as they are in the Glenn's side of the field.
A minute and tend to play here in this first
half action as the Bulldogs try to get on the
scoreboard here on a beautiful evening here in mil Creek,
moving towards the school left to right, Drenning in the pistol,
Maxwell on his left hand side snap back, good pop

(01:19:00):
bucket pass. That back pass complete the two fairest for
about ten yards hit right at the first down marker.
Some offense going on for the Bulldogs as Drenning completes
at pass the Ferris for about ten yards right at
the thirty five thirty four yard line.

Speaker 7 (01:19:14):
That's a great job by Aiden Ferris to hang on
to that ball. There was a couple of Golden Bears
right there with it, and the footsteps didn't scare him.
Secured the catch. Great play.

Speaker 6 (01:19:24):
He had two nice back to back plays for the Bulldogs.
Twenty four yards on those two plays. As they are
driving down the field here with fifty seconds, they got
to hurry up a little bit moving.

Speaker 16 (01:19:34):
To change, you gotta move everybody. He's a little faster.

Speaker 2 (01:19:39):
First and ten for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 6 (01:19:41):
Drenning Back had a good clean pocket again this time
pass completed the Stanley. Stanley's gonna get it. He's got
to hit four or five. The Golden Bears hit him.
Cleaned up by Sours, gonna keep him in bounds. I
think Tigerts Valley's going to take a time out with them.
We'll take it with him. We'll be back here in
thirty seconds here on ninety four point seven.

Speaker 2 (01:20:01):
Right now.

Speaker 2 (01:20:36):
W elk, hey, welcome back inside a Bulldog field.

Speaker 6 (01:20:41):
I'm Mike to pasketball alongside Themanuel Smith on again a
beautiful last Friday night of this West Virginia High school
football season. Last regular season game for both these ball clubs.
Oak Glenn currently leading thirty one to nothing with forty
one seconds left to go here in his first half action,
but the Bulldogs are driving. There are now currently out
of timeouts as they are going to take over first

(01:21:04):
or second and eight on the thirty two yard line
of Oak Glenn.

Speaker 7 (01:21:07):
I Coach Clarkson, you have to appreciate that time out.
Get out of bounds.

Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
Yep.

Speaker 6 (01:21:12):
Drennan drops back. His pass was intended in the middle
for Preston Smith. Evan Clausten just dropped the interception right
at the thirty five yard roud.

Speaker 7 (01:21:20):
But again, you gotta realize thirty eight seconds on the
clock you try to throw a pass over the middle
with no time outs left. Luckily that wasn't intercepted because
that hit costing him right in the hands.

Speaker 2 (01:21:31):
Yeah, hit him in a bad spot.

Speaker 7 (01:21:33):
Yeah, well yeah, I wouldn't gonna say that, but right
in the hands.

Speaker 6 (01:21:39):
Third and eight for the bulldog's near side, hash Mark
gotta oak Glenn thirty two yard line.

Speaker 2 (01:21:45):
Gotta work the sidelines. You've got to get out of bounds.

Speaker 6 (01:21:48):
Three receivers to the right, one to the left. Drennan
with a clean pocket right now, and he's running out
to the right hand side. He's gonna get He's gonna
get out of bounds right out the line of scrimmage.

Speaker 2 (01:22:00):
Clean pocket for about two seconds for him. Well, we
said it all night.

Speaker 7 (01:22:05):
I mean that young man has ran for his life
the entire first half.

Speaker 16 (01:22:09):
That's gonna be one tired young man going in a halftime.

Speaker 2 (01:22:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:22:12):
Drennon nine carries twenty eight yards right now. We're gonna
get about a half a yard on that play. Fourth
and about eight from the Oak Glenn thirty one and
a half yard line. Tigart's valley going right to left,
losing thirty one nothing here late in the first half.

Speaker 16 (01:22:33):
You don't need a home run. Be aware of the sticks,
get out of bounds.

Speaker 6 (01:22:37):
Drenning takes a snap. He's looking back, looking back, nothing there.
Fumble the ball, fumble's gonna be recovered by Oak Glenn.
Lucas Zeller's gonna recover it at about the fifty yard line,
and he's gonna take it down to the Tigers Valley
thirty five fumble caused by I believe it was Cameron
heck Hebrook on that play.

Speaker 2 (01:22:56):
Correct.

Speaker 7 (01:22:58):
If you're a Tiger's Valley, that's the apps loot. Last
thing you would have wanted to happen.

Speaker 6 (01:23:04):
Lucas Zeller with that refumble recovery.

Speaker 7 (01:23:11):
Jackson just out here trying to do anything he can
to create some offense.

Speaker 16 (01:23:16):
For his team.

Speaker 2 (01:23:19):
Coughs up the ball at a bad spot.

Speaker 6 (01:23:24):
Oakland going to take over the ball on Tigerts Valley
thirty five yard line. Adams under center, and he's just
going to take a knee and run this clock out.

Speaker 7 (01:23:39):
Going to have to do some major regrouping in that
locker room. If you're Oak Glenn, you're feeling pretty good
about making a four hour trip.

Speaker 6 (01:23:48):
Yeah, So as this first half of action winds down,
your halftime score here in Mill Creek, Oaklenn Golden Bears
thirty one, Tiger's Valley Bulldogs nothing, and we'll be back
here in two minutes with the halftime show here on
ninety four point seven WOK right now.

Speaker 2 (01:26:12):
Welk he wealcome back inside a bulldog field.

Speaker 6 (01:26:17):
I'm Mike the Passeball here with the Varners Outdoor Power
Equipment halftime report. I'm joined by M'manuel Smith and and
Dmanuel right now Oaklenn made the four hour trip through
up thirty one nothing. What do you say if you're
coach Clark's some of these bulldogs in Thehattan locker room.

Speaker 7 (01:26:33):
If it's me, I'm closing that door and there's a
very veryustern conversation in that locker room. It is about
will instead of skill at this point, do you want
to finish this season?

Speaker 16 (01:26:44):
How do you want to finish this season?

Speaker 7 (01:26:45):
You know, you got to remember you've got the supporters
out here that spend their money every Friday night.

Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
They support you.

Speaker 16 (01:26:50):
You know, I understand it's been a rough season.

Speaker 7 (01:26:52):
It's been a tough three day or three game stretch
here down the stretch, but you've got to show some pride.
You gotta come out here in the second half and
you got to play. You're behind us off and you
got to remember you've got seniors in that locker room
that are strapping up for the last time.

Speaker 2 (01:27:05):
Those are your brothers.

Speaker 7 (01:27:06):
You've got to come out and do something in the
second half to send these guys out with some type
of a moral victory.

Speaker 6 (01:27:12):
Yeah, and demand you look at what Tigris Valley has
done tonight. You know, they opened up the game, started
off with promising drive. Seven plays, they went seventeen yards,
turned it over on downs. Oakland took the ensuing drive
and scored a touchdown. Tigris Valley's next drive was a
three and out. They punted the ball away again Oaklenn.

Speaker 2 (01:27:28):
They punted.

Speaker 6 (01:27:29):
That was a great punt by Jackson Drun if you remember,
it went all the way down there, almost pinned.

Speaker 2 (01:27:33):
It inside the five yard line.

Speaker 6 (01:27:35):
It rolled into the end zone. Then Oaklenn took it
eighty yards for the touchdown again. Next possession by Tigris Valley.
They started off really well, got a couple first downs
and then punted the ball away again, turned it over
on or gave it away. Oaklenn went back, scored again
on that touchdown. Next possession was the interception. They took
it clear down to the two yard line. Oakland scored again.

(01:27:56):
And on this last possession they were moving the ball
pretty well. Jackson was under duress again like he has
been all game, fumbled the ball around the fifty yard
line oak Glenn recovered it and then just took a
knee into the locker room. So really, the only possession
of Golden Berrys have not scored on was that last
possession of the half where they just took a knee
to go into the locker room at the half.

Speaker 16 (01:28:14):
And oh to nine team looks like a nine and
o team right now.

Speaker 6 (01:28:17):
Yeah, and so Glenn again, we talked about it in
the pre game, Demanuel, me and you. We looked at
that schedule, we saw what they played. It's hard to judge,
you of high teams because everyone makes the playoffs in
Ohio now, and but you know, they played some really
good competition in Ohio and the competition that they played
in West Virginia outside of we're high. Who's playing Herbert
Hoover today? You know, all those teams are on the

(01:28:41):
verge of making the playoffs. Or already in the playoff
spots in West Virginia. So you know, again it's Oak
Glenn team oh to nine, but a very very tough
schedule that they've played this year.

Speaker 7 (01:28:49):
Absolutely, and it's a prideful you know a program as well.
I mean you go back to nineteen and twenty, they
were in the playoffs. They were in the back back
back back years in the playoffs, so they know what
success looks like. They're just in a building year of
the last couple of seasons and you know it, they've
played some tough competition. But tonight, like I said, O
nine is crazy because it looks like they're note to
oh the way they've played this first half.

Speaker 6 (01:29:10):
So you know, with the score being his lopsided as is,
what do you expect coach Clarkson to do here in
the second half? Do you do you feel like he's
going to just play the season out as is? Is
he going to play some of these young kids to
get a preview what could be for next year?

Speaker 2 (01:29:23):
What would you do if you're in.

Speaker 7 (01:29:24):
This situation, Well, you got to have that thought process
of you know that you're having a conversation with your
seniors right now. Number One, you know, how do they

All right, welcome back inside of this halftime show. Here,
this is the Barners Outdoor Piate Equipment halftime Show. Tommanuel
Smith and Mike the Passball with you again. Greg White
out doing a great thing, hanging out with his wife. Hey,
you know, to get to this point in the season recap,
why we're playing Oaklenn tonight. Both of these teams were
supposed to play Trinity Christian in the regular season. It

(01:40:32):
was supposed to be an away game for Oaklenn, supposed
to be a home game for Tiger Valley, and then
Trinity Christian folded, and here we are. Oakland wanted to
play the tenth game, so they decided, Hey, they're gonna
come down here and make the long trip down here tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:40:47):
And they're playing very well.

Speaker 16 (01:40:49):
Becuare we say so far a very smart decision.

Speaker 2 (01:40:51):
Of their part. Yeah, So let's go inside the stats
to night first four.

Speaker 6 (01:40:55):
The leading Oaklenn Golden Bears, Glenn Adams throwing the court,
throwing the ball around.

Speaker 2 (01:40:59):
He's one for one, twenty one yards throwing the football.

Speaker 6 (01:41:03):
Evan Klauston nine rushes sixty four yards in a touchdown,
Josh Mayer seven rushes ninety yards in a touchdown, Greg
Sowers four rushes seventeen yards, two touchdowns. Glenn Adams is
ran the ball twice for negative seven yards, and Devin
u Suk ran the ball one time for nine yards.
On the receiving end. Josh Mayer won catch twenty one

(01:41:26):
yards for the Golden Bears, twenty one yards passing, one
hundred and seventy three yards rushing and one hundred and
ninety four yards told on the ground, touchdown, four touchdowns,
four Taggarts, Valley Jackson Drenning three for seven twenty six yards.
He won interception. Running the ball Drenning ten times for

(01:41:46):
ten yards, Jamal Nesbit three times for four yards, Elijah
Stanley three times for negative two. Isaac Maxwell two rushes
for four yards. Elijah Stanley has two catches for fifteen yards.
Aidan Ferris one for eleven. Offensively for Tigers Valley, not
a whole lot to talk about. Dmanuel twenty six yards,

(01:42:06):
passing sixteen yards, rushing forty two yards altogether. Jackson Drennan
doing a great job punting the football two punts eighty
eight yards forty four yard average.

Speaker 2 (01:42:15):
One touchback.

Speaker 6 (01:42:17):
But you know what, d The stat of the game,
in my opinion is oaklenn Is starting on a plus
forty five side of.

Speaker 2 (01:42:26):
The ball, absolutely and they've held the ball four.

Speaker 6 (01:42:29):
Twelve minutes even pretty even a time of possession twelve
minutes and thirty nine seconds for oaklenn eleven minutes for
Tigers Valley. So as we wind down this last halftime
show of the season, again you're inside the Varner's Outdoor
Power Equipment pregame show or halftime show. We got about
four minutes. If you're coach Clarkson, what are you telling

(01:42:49):
these kids? You got twenty four minutes of football do
you're a football coach telling them what we know.

Speaker 7 (01:42:52):
That's exactly what you're saying. You've got twenty four minutes
left in some of these guys' career. You got twenty
four minutes left in the season, and this is what's
gonna carry these younger guys into next season. So you know,
when the season's over, I'm gonna say somewhere, probably around
Thanksgiving and Break, the weight room is gonna be open
and you're gonna have to get in there and start
preparing for next season.

Speaker 2 (01:43:11):
Again, to me, it is all pride. I am.

Speaker 7 (01:43:14):
I can't tell you what I would probably say in
the locker room, but it's about your pride.

Speaker 2 (01:43:18):
It's about your family.

Speaker 7 (01:43:19):
It's about your support, your team, your brothers, it's your community,
especially up here in Tigers Valley, which is some of
the biggest supporters you will ever see or find across
the state of West Virginia.

Speaker 16 (01:43:28):
If you're not gonna do it for you, you better
do it for them.

Speaker 2 (01:43:31):
And that's my message.

Speaker 6 (01:43:32):
Yeah, and we talk about that. You know, I have
not been to many Elkins Way football games. You go
to a lot of them, but Greg and I talk
about the crowd and how well does Tiger Valley followers
follow this team. And we don't have any short way trips,
We don't have any hour long trips like you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:43:46):
Do you know we're going to the Valley.

Speaker 6 (01:43:48):
Watson, We're going to clay Buttel, We're driving across the
Pocahons down to Richwood and every Friday night the Red
and White faithful show up support these kids. So you
know again, I like you said, I like that, go
out and play for these guys that come out and
support you every Friday night. As we got about three
more minutes left here in a halftime show, I want
to remind everybody that the Elkins Tigers will be on

(01:44:09):
the radio next week. We assume from what you and
I see next Friday Night looks like at Herbert Hoover.
Not guaranteed, you're the guru. All that looks like they're
gonna go to Herbert Hoover. And you said that, Coach
Ware said, and he was gonna play on Friday night
if possible, Yes, try to keep his routine and everything.

Speaker 2 (01:44:28):
That game will be on. What are you guys? You
guys are ninety eight nine w DNE we'll have Philip
Barber playoff football next.

Speaker 6 (01:44:36):
Week on twelve forty am nine to nine point nine
fmwdn E, and then Greg and I will be picking
up the Tucker County Mountain Lines, who I believe were
rolling Hampshire right.

Speaker 2 (01:44:46):
Yes, I think it's thirty eight to seven.

Speaker 6 (01:44:47):
Like they look like they're gonna be getting a couple
home games next week in the playoffs, and as the
playoffs go through, we will carry those on ninety four
point seven. W elk as this is the last week
of high school football season here in West Virginia, and Damaniel,
it's been a heck of a season so far. I
can't believe it's over.

Speaker 2 (01:45:06):
Tell Us, tell us a little bit about the Tigers
while we got some time.

Speaker 7 (01:45:09):
Well, I mean you mentioned it. They started out red hot.
I mean they had a favorable seat, you know, favorable
favorable schedule there in the first five weeks. They handled
their business. They had a heartbreaker in the first loss
or first game against Liberty. But when you look at
it as a as a as a whole, you take
away the Fairmont into Hoover game, they are four points
away literally from being eight and two one a season,

(01:45:31):
so a couple of blocked extra points in the liberty
game they had. They had the same thing happened another
game down to stretch against RCB. Coach Ware decided, I'm
gonna roll the dice go for two. A couple of
times it didn't work out. They also missed it was
in a botched extra point in that game as well.
Four points separate this team from being eight and two
and playing at home in the playoffs.

Speaker 6 (01:45:51):
Yeah, and you know, but but they are in the
playoffs five and five. You know, I think last year
they were one and nine, two and eight, one and nine. So,
you know, coach Waar has got this. You know, you
guys got the as one thing going on. You know,
the whole community's jumping in and let's just talk a
little bit about the success of all the Tigers, Valger Elkins,
Tigers fallse Sports. You've got the football team Megan State

(01:46:12):
playoffs for the first time in a couple of years.
You've got the volleyball team who's going to play I
believe it is Wednesday in the state tournament against Bridgeport.
First time the Tiger volleyball team ever is made at
the Charleston You got the girls soccer team who had
a heck of a season.

Speaker 2 (01:46:26):
They just finished up yesterday, lost a heartbreaker, won nothing
to East Fairmont, and then the golf.

Speaker 6 (01:46:31):
Team did really well. Cross country team boys were state champs,
girls were state third.

Speaker 2 (01:46:37):
And the state.

Speaker 6 (01:46:38):
So you know, fall athletics are running hot and heavy
and Tiger Country right now.

Speaker 2 (01:46:42):
You got the new gym going in right now. That
not a new gym, they're redoing the floor.

Speaker 6 (01:46:47):
U The design I saw from athletic director where he
showed it to me, looks great.

Speaker 2 (01:46:53):
You know, a lot of good things going on in
Tiger Country.

Speaker 6 (01:46:55):
Got a lot of good things going on here in
Bulldog Country, as you know, not four point seven WLK
and house Hunters wants you to take some time tomorrow
if you have to wish the Tiger's.

Speaker 2 (01:47:05):
Valley cheerleaders good luck.

Speaker 6 (01:47:06):
They perform at Lincoln High School tomorrow, I believe at
ten o'clock in the morning in the Class A Regional Championships.
You know, it's their only real shot at going to
Charleston is they got one competition, They got one chance
to do it. The cheerleaders work just as hard as
everybody else, so you know that go out there support
them for as much as you can. You know, as

(01:47:26):
we wind down the Varners Outdoor Power Equipment halftime show,
here is Jackson Drennan and Evan Closen are gonna meet
out at midfield.

Speaker 2 (01:47:37):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 7 (01:47:37):
I'm a girl dad, and I'm a cheerdad, and I'm
gonna tell you right now. As a football coach and
basketball coach, I do all that stuff. One of the
greatest things that I look forward to every year is
seeing a cheer competition because you might have your opinions
of it until you go watch it. These girls are
absolutely phenomenal. They're all cheering for each other. It is
the craziest thing you've ever seen and the most supportive
thing I've ever seen. So if you get a chance

(01:47:58):
to go out there and he's takers by the girl
I've seen them before.

Speaker 16 (01:48:01):
They're good. They're very good. Go out and support them.

Speaker 6 (01:48:03):
They are very good. They've been to a state tournament twice.
You know, we went a few years back when I
was athletic director. I believe it was one or two
years ago. They just went with coach Tiffany Oldegger's squad.
I want to say maybe it was two years ago.
I can't remember exactly, but you know, it's it's a
it's a tough thing to get down there in Charleston
because it's not it's not like sports. You know, we

(01:48:24):
get ten games the minimum, and football thirty if you're
playing baseball, twenty if you're playing basketball. They got one,
three minutes, three minute chance to perform their best to
get to Charleston Adams.

Speaker 16 (01:48:35):
So you got one opportunity. Yep, And that's exactly what
they get.

Speaker 6 (01:48:39):
And they perform again tomorrow at Lincoln High School. I
believe at ten o'clock. Actually, we got a cheer dead
sitting next to us. Is it ten o'clock, Adam? Ten
o'clock tomorrow at Lincoln High School? Trust, well, the single
aay competition starts at ten o'clock, and I'm sure that
the Actually, I think the Elkins Tigers cheerleaders have to
go clear up to Brook for their competition because of
how things have changed and moved around.

Speaker 16 (01:49:01):
Now, the question is when you go to these cheer competitions,
did do you actually start cheering?

Speaker 2 (01:49:04):
Do you do it in your head? You know? Secretly?

Speaker 18 (01:49:06):
Do?

Speaker 2 (01:49:07):
I mean I'm doing well, you knew them all.

Speaker 6 (01:49:09):
I was the athletic director, So I was running around
seeing things. I didn't get a chance just to sit
in Jesus all right, back to football action here in
Mill Creek. Jamal Nes been ready to kick the ball
off to start this second half, back deep four Oak Glenn.
The ball rolls right through Cameron Carter's hands. He's gonna

(01:49:32):
pick it up at about the three yard line. He's
going to make a couple of men miss, and he's
going to get that ball clear out to about the
sixteen yard line. Good return there for Cameron Carter. After
the ball went.

Speaker 2 (01:49:42):
Through his legs clear down to about the three yard line,
looked like it was about to be disastrous.

Speaker 7 (01:49:47):
He picked it up and somehow split to bulldog defenders
like you said, actually turned it into a pretty decent return.

Speaker 6 (01:49:54):
Yeah, fourteen yards on the game as Oak Glenn's gonna
start in their worst field position of the evening on
their own seventeen yard line, up thirty one to nothing
here in the final football game of the twoenty twenty
four football season for both these squads. Neither one of
these teams are gonna be going to the playoffs. Oakland

(01:50:15):
moving right to left on your radio dial, and the
way I look at it. This is their playoffs. Playoffs,
go out and play hard.

Speaker 2 (01:50:22):
Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (01:50:24):
Adam's under center. It's gonna take that ball. He hands
it off to Josh Sowersy's take it back. He takes
off Josh Mayer who takes it and he's gonna rumble,
stumbles way down the field. He gets down twenty fifteen
ten five touchdown for Josh Mayer. He takes it eighty
three yards for the Oakland touchdown to open up this

(01:50:45):
second half. On the fake, I thought Soers had it
and he did not. Great fake thereby the Golden Bears.

Speaker 7 (01:50:51):
It's the same dive that Oakland ran multiple times to
end that first half.

Speaker 16 (01:50:57):
They did the exact same thing the mayor.

Speaker 7 (01:50:58):
Same hole, same side, nobody there for the guys in red.
And next thing, you know, eighty three yards later, Peter.

Speaker 2 (01:51:06):
Yeah, Josh Mayer.

Speaker 6 (01:51:07):
He takes that ball, goes eighty three yards, puts him
over the one hundred and fifty yard mark on a night.
It's amazing what one carry can do for your yards
per carry. Josh Bennett out for the extra point to
try to increase this lead to thirty eight. Nothing for
the Golden Bears. Kick is down.

Speaker 2 (01:51:26):
It is blocked by Braiden Arbagas, so the extra point
is no good.

Speaker 6 (01:51:31):
But with an eleven forty left to go here in
the first third quarter Oaklenn thirty seven Target's Valley nothing,
We'll be back here in sixty seconds on ninety four
point seven WLK at my age.

Speaker 19 (01:51:41):
I know what's worth worrying about and what's not. And
that perspective makes enjoying life easier. But getting up and
around now that's not so easy.

Speaker 20 (01:51:52):

This is Randolph County Sheriff ab Elbin reminding you to
be safe on your way home from the game tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:52:45):
Let's go Bulldogs and welcome back to Tiger's Valley High School.

Speaker 7 (01:52:51):
Drive summary one play eighty three yards by Josh Maher
who took off to the house.

Speaker 16 (01:52:57):
Extra point was good. Now I have a score of
thirty seven to nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:53:01):
Oak Glenn.

Speaker 6 (01:53:04):
Jackson Drennan takes the ball about the twenty yard line.
On the ensuing kick, he's going to get out to
about the forty yard line and there's some pushing and
shoving down there on the field.

Speaker 7 (01:53:15):
This is like we talked about. You know, what do
you do here in the second half? Do you continue
to play these seniors? Do you start to make that
decision to get him off the field. And if you're
gonna start seeing Tippers player, there might be a good
decision to maybe start pulling him off now before something
crazy happens.

Speaker 6 (01:53:30):
Yeah, and if you're a senior, you got to remember
if you play other sports, if you get thrown out
of this game tonight, the SSAC adds add on to
your next sport. So you know, if you're Jackson or
any of these other seniors, you don't want to do
something that could get you in trouble. So you don't
want to miss the beginning of your next sports season.

Speaker 16 (01:53:45):
Great point, as you are a wonderful referee.

Speaker 6 (01:53:51):
Drennen's gonna take the snappands off to Jamal Nesbit. Nesbit
doesn't get any running room on that play, maybe get
pushed back for about a loss of a yard.

Speaker 16 (01:54:03):
I gonna say I think he lost a yard as
once it can be about a loss of two.

Speaker 7 (01:54:06):
That defensive line literally was in the backfield as Drennen
tried to make the handoff.

Speaker 6 (01:54:14):
And Oakland currently leading thirty seven and nothing here with
ten forty to play in the third quarter of action,
I believe their next score would put the running clock
in order for the second half of play.

Speaker 16 (01:54:27):
Yeah, let me correct myself. I said they got the
extra point.

Speaker 2 (01:54:28):
They did not. The extra point was actually blocked. Drenden
takes a snap and it's fumbled.

Speaker 6 (01:54:35):
Looks like it's going to be recovered by a Tigerts
Valleys gonna be probably about a loss of five on
that play. Looks like he's going to be down about
the thirty two yard line.

Speaker 7 (01:54:51):
Yeah, I would say, possibly go you finish his possession
and if we you know, if they can't get anything
moving here, I'm probably strongly in the future of my seniors.

Speaker 2 (01:55:03):
Yeah, nine fifty six to play here.

Speaker 6 (01:55:05):
In the third quarter, Bulldogs have it middle of the
field on their own thirty two third and eighteen wing
t set Drennan under center, fakes the handoff, looks deep
down field, has a receiver, has Stanley down the field,
thrown it to Gear. Stanley and Gear in the way

(01:55:28):
pass broken up by the Oak Glenn defensive back.

Speaker 16 (01:55:31):
I'll tell you what, Kate and Richie almost had a
second interception.

Speaker 6 (01:55:35):
Kate and Richie very well almost got that ball. He
had both hands on and unfortunately he could not take
it in. If you're a Golden Bear fan, now it's
fourth and eighteen and I'm assuming you're gonna punt this
ball awayde.

Speaker 2 (01:55:48):
Pretty much have to.

Speaker 7 (01:55:48):
If you're inside your own thirty five yard line. The
last thing you're gonna do is give them any better
field position. Like you mentioned earlier, they've had great starting
field position throughout the first half of the game.

Speaker 6 (01:56:02):
Good punt by Drenning, gonna hit at about the thirty
six yard line. Take a bulldog roll, gonna be touched
down by Isaac Maxwell right at the thirty two yard
line of Oaklenn, and that's where they're going to start there.

Speaker 2 (01:56:15):
Offensive possession here tonight, all night long.

Speaker 7 (01:56:20):
Great starting field position for this Golden Bear offense. Now,
if you're Tiger's valley, you've got to be looking for
this dive play.

Speaker 2 (01:56:28):
It's a mayor. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:56:31):
Oaklen two hundred and seventy seven yards to night offense,
two hundred and fifty six of them on the ground.
Almost a repeat of last week as what we saw
at Pocahontas nine twenty four to go.

Speaker 2 (01:56:41):
Here in the third quarter, Oaklenn leading thirty seven to nothing.

Speaker 7 (01:56:44):
It looks like Tiger's valley keeps overloading this right side.
But the problem is Oakland's going to their right side. Yeah,
it looks like they've made some adjustments here.

Speaker 6 (01:56:53):
Adams take gives a snap and gives a handoff to Klawson.
Klausen is going to get one yard, maybe two, tackled
by Aidan Ferris on now play.

Speaker 2 (01:57:06):
That's a positive.

Speaker 6 (01:57:08):
Your good start defensively for the Bulldogs. Get them a
little bit behind the chains. Oak Glenn going right to left,
ball on the far side. Hash Mark here on a
cooling evening here in Mill Creek again, Mike Pascal joined
by Dmmanuel Smith. Greg White out on assignment tonight and
he's hopefully going to be rooting the Mountaineers to a

(01:57:28):
victory tomorrow in Cincinnati. Adams under center hands the ball
off to Mayor. Mayor is going to lose it. Fumbled
the ball this time, looks like it's going to be
recovered by the Bulldogs. Say they've got Bulldogs have it.
I'm not sure who scooped it up, but nonetheless, the

(01:57:49):
guy's in red forced a turnover. And again what you
saw was that going to bear offense trying to, you know,
go with that little quick hitter to Mayor off that
right side. Bulldogs that adjusted their defense and great defensive
play not only does stop Mayor from getting any yards,
but ripping that ball out. Yeah, And that's what you
want to see if you're coach Clarkson, you want to
see these guys play with some fire here late in

(01:58:10):
the game, try to get a points on the board.

Speaker 7 (01:58:13):
All right, you've got an opportunity. You're inside the Golden
Bear thirty five yard line.

Speaker 6 (01:58:17):
First and ten Bulldogs from the Golden Bear thirty four
yard line, hand off to Nesbit. He's gonna go off
the right hand side of the line. He's gonna low
his shoulder, knock a Golden Bear down. Now he's gonna rumble, stumble, bumble.
He's got a bunch of them. He's got a host
of bears as he drags him out of bounds at
about the twenty four twenty three yard line of Oak Glenn.

Speaker 2 (01:58:35):
Good hard run by Jamal Nesbit on that plage.

Speaker 7 (01:58:38):
You guys calling them minafritch. That was kind of like
a little Jerome Vettis tape run, just running people over the.

Speaker 2 (01:58:43):
Bus and the bus.

Speaker 6 (01:58:45):
Indeed, he gets down to the twenty three eleven yard
game four. Nesbit on that play sets up a first
and ten for the Bulldogs from the Oak Glenn twenty
three yard line with eight twenty to go. Here in
a third quarter of action, ball on near side, hash
Mark dreading under center wing Tea. Nesbit, the full back,

(01:59:06):
Stanley and McAtee are the wings. Snap his back hand
off the nose, but this time he loses the ball
and it's gonna be recovered by oak Glenn.

Speaker 7 (01:59:17):
Yeah, good call because I went well right back to
Nesbit as well, but he lost his footing right as
he took the hand off. Un as he was trying
to regain his balance forgot he had the ball in
his hands. Trump breaks of the turf. Oaklenn recovers.

Speaker 2 (01:59:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:59:30):
Oak Glenn recovers on twenty three, So no gain on
the on the fumble. Good field position for the Bulldogs,
off or not. As Oaklenn gets the ball back with
eight twelve to go. Here in the third quarter, oak Glenn,

(01:59:54):
in a wing tea Adams, takes a snap, gives it
to Klawson. Klausen's gonna about ten yards on the play
before he's tackled by Nesbit.

Speaker 7 (02:00:04):
Well, the Bulldogs have taken away that little dive going right,
so Oaklenn says, cool, let's go left.

Speaker 6 (02:00:10):
Yeah, Oakland just running the ball right down the bulldog's
throat tonight again. Two hundred and sixty eight yards on
the ground tonight. They've got thirteen first downs twenty seven
carries on on tonight.

Speaker 7 (02:00:21):
Wow, very very impressive for a team that comes into
hero at nine on the season.

Speaker 6 (02:00:27):
Again to nine, but they played one of the tougher
schedules of Double A schools in West Virginia.

Speaker 2 (02:00:33):
Yeah, you get them a West Virginia regular high school schedule.
They're not over nine.

Speaker 6 (02:00:38):
Yeah, they're probably not. They've probably got four or five wins.
And I talking to one of my friends from down
there that should have won a game, and we're higher.
Early in the season, snap goes back to Adams. Adams
hands off the Mayor Mary with that die play. He's
gonna get out there around to fifty before he's tackled
by Aidan Ferris. Good hard run by Mayor on that play,
gets in the Bulldog territory about the forty seven yard line.

Speaker 2 (02:01:02):
Gonna get a nineteen yard carry from Mayor on that play.

Speaker 6 (02:01:05):
Ten carries one hundred and ninety two yards as he
approaches a two hundred yard mark tonight in this ball game.

Speaker 7 (02:01:12):
Well again, just a great job up front by this
Golden Bear offensive line. We talked about the tackle is
only being one hundred and seventy, one hundred and seventy
pounds apiece. You got a center weighs just a little
wonder one hundred and sixty pounds doesn't matter. If you
can control the line of scrimmage, you know your techniques
and your blocking scheme size, that don't matter.

Speaker 6 (02:01:30):
First and ten Golden Bears from the Tigert Valley forty seven.
Adams takes a snap, gives it the mayor. Mayor going
to carry. He's gonna get about, oh boy, seven yards
on the carry. And it looks like there's gonna be
a face mask in on that play. You know, we
got a face mask. We got a little shoving, a
lot of penalty flags in on that. We got an

(02:01:51):
injured bulldog. Injured bulldog right now is braiding Arby. Guess
you know he doesn't want to come out of the game.
This is his last time playing on this field. He's
a senior.

Speaker 2 (02:02:00):
For sure. He's gonna shut a tough it out. Yep,
good call.

Speaker 7 (02:02:06):
It was a face mask one of the bulldogs. So
that'll add another fifteen yards.

Speaker 6 (02:02:10):
Yeah, five penalties forty six yards a night for the Bulldogs.
That's gonna move the ball down to about the twenty
five yard line.

Speaker 7 (02:02:20):
It's never give one of your penalty yards rival what
your total yards of offense are.

Speaker 6 (02:02:24):
No, that's not a good thing, and that's been a
theme this year for Bulldogs. So, first and ten from
the Tigert Valley twenty six with a six minutes and
thirty seconds on a turning clock. Here in the third
quarter action, Adam's under center for the Golden Bears balling
in near side hash Mark. He turns and looks little
bootleg pass out to the right hand side, gives it

(02:02:45):
the mayor. Mayor's gonna take the pass and run out
of bounds. Well, he's got all kinds of flags on
this play right now. I don't know what the first
flag was for. Probably holding the second flag is definitely
gonna be something on the Bulldogs run sportsmanlike conduct.

Speaker 2 (02:03:02):
Absolutely.

Speaker 7 (02:03:02):
I think there was a hole on that far side
on the offense, and then multiple flags around the forty.

Speaker 6 (02:03:12):
So we got a personal foul on Tigerts valley, we
got a dead ball personal foul on Tigart's valley. Both
of them are on Tigarts valley with an ejection. Yeah,
so we had two personal fouls on Tigart's valley on
that play. The second one came with an ejection. Actually,

(02:03:32):
if it was both on the same player, two personal
foul penalties is an ejection. We will not mention the
name of the Bulldog player who is ejected.

Speaker 2 (02:03:41):
We do not do that. But the pass was complete,
so complete the mayor.

Speaker 6 (02:03:50):
And it looks like he's down around a fifteen yard line,
so eleven yards on the pass and catch.

Speaker 2 (02:03:59):
And then we got multiple penalties on the Bulldogs.

Speaker 7 (02:04:02):
And again we kind of you've seen this brewing on
and off throughout the game. Now it's really taking shape
here in the second half. And again, if you Kritch Clarkson,
you might be one to think about getting some of
these guys out of there, get these younger guys in there,
get him some experience.

Speaker 6 (02:04:18):
Yeah, it looks like we've got they. Like I say said,
both penalties were on Tiger's valley. One of them's coming
with an ejection.

Speaker 16 (02:04:29):
Now the ejection looks like it may have been on
a coach and not a player. What are we doing
here on the player?

Speaker 2 (02:04:40):
Okay, again, we're not gonna talk about what player. It is,
no no need.

Speaker 7 (02:04:50):
It's just things you cannot do on a football field.
You got to be able to control yourself mentally. I
tell kids all the time, it's eighty percent metal, twenty
percent physical.

Speaker 6 (02:04:58):
Yeah, and you know in a game like this, you
know it's high emotions. I know you're a senior. You
want to do the right thing, but you can't let
your emotions get the best of you. Again, two unsportsmanlike
conduct penalties is going to be an automatic disqualification.

Speaker 2 (02:05:10):
It's like getting two.

Speaker 6 (02:05:11):
Technical foulsand basketball exactly. So you know, I don't know
what it was. We're not going to state who the
player was, there's no need for that. But unfortunately for
that young man, his season is going to end sitting
in the locker room for the next eighteen minutes and
eighteen seconds, and it's.

Speaker 7 (02:05:28):
Gonna be all those things that may not hit you now,
but when you get our age, and you know, we
play the game multiple sports and now we're old men,
but you can still go back thirty years ago and
there's certain games, the certain moments you can remember that
you regret for the rest of your life, whether it
was a play or whatever. That's gonna be something that's
gonna haunt that young man for a long time. So
those are things these kids have to think about. Guys,
they're out there and doing silly things.

Speaker 6 (02:05:53):
Yeah, and you know, the emotions get the best of
the young man, it happens. But like you mentioned, you've
got to get as a coaching staff, you got to
get these guys under control. You got to get an
understand hey, finish a game, play smart, finish the season
hard by playing hard.

Speaker 2 (02:06:09):
Well.

Speaker 16 (02:06:10):
You want to build your program with class, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 7 (02:06:12):
It's again, this is an audition for bringing your middle
school kids and other kids into school that didn't play football.

Speaker 2 (02:06:22):
All right, back to football action.

Speaker 6 (02:06:23):
Mayor's gonna take the ball, he's gonna go back up
the middle, and he's gonna go in and he's gonna
score a touchdown and get in for the sixteen yard
touchdown run as there's still more pushing and shoving out
on the field and coach Clarkson's gonna have to get
these bulldogs under control.

Speaker 14 (02:06:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (02:06:40):
If I'm coach right now, I don't care who it is.
I'm calling a timeout and I'm ripping somebody's heads off
right now. You've got to get yourself under control. From
a mentality standpoint, this can't be acceptable.

Speaker 3 (02:06:53):
No.

Speaker 6 (02:06:54):
On the play, though, Josh Mayer goes for sixteen yards
and a touchdown that gets him up over the two
hundred yard mark on the evening, two hundred and thirteen
yards three touchdowns for the young man from Oak Glenn.
We've got an unsportsman like conduct penalty on Tigets Valley
that's going to be enforced, I believe on the kickoff,
and he's going to be ejected.

Speaker 2 (02:07:13):
You know, you got another one walking off the field.
Just not the way you want to see these in
for these young men.

Speaker 6 (02:07:18):
I mean, no, this is not not exactly how you
want this to end. And right now, there shouldn't be
anybody cheering for this. If you're wearing red and white
right now, this is not This is not what we
preach up here. If you're Tagart's Valley. Again, I'm part
of the coaching staff, this is not what we try
to do.

Speaker 2 (02:07:34):
You know.

Speaker 6 (02:07:34):
We try to teach these kids to play hard and
do the right thing and and right now they're just
not doing that very very well. And again, if you're
coach Clarkson, I think you've got to call time out
and get your guys, There's no question about it.

Speaker 2 (02:07:48):
Josh Bennett on for the extra point and again I believe.

Speaker 6 (02:07:53):
Yeah, and this has been a theme in the last
two weeks for Tigrets Valley is they keep having guys
ump on false starts here on extra points, and there's
no reason to jump on an extra point.

Speaker 7 (02:08:06):
Now, you've got to know something very simple about football.
If you're a defense, you do not move to the ball.

Speaker 2 (02:08:15):
Moves right football one oh one.

Speaker 6 (02:08:20):
But I believe we are to the point of the
running clock in the second half. Is Oaklenn's gonna go attempt.

Speaker 2 (02:08:26):
This extra point?

Speaker 16 (02:08:28):
Forty two points? It's the magic number and the third.

Speaker 6 (02:08:32):
Josh Bennett snap his back kick is up and away,
and we've got a false start on oak Glenn.

Speaker 16 (02:08:40):
Now can we just take away extra point attempts?

Speaker 2 (02:08:44):
It'd be nice.

Speaker 16 (02:08:45):
We just scored touchdowns and just forget that part of
the game.

Speaker 2 (02:08:51):
So Oak Glenn's gonna move five yards back for this
extra point.

Speaker 7 (02:08:55):
I think there's been a penalty flag there and when
literally every extra point attempt if not real close.

Speaker 6 (02:09:02):
I'm not sure we've gone four or five plays without
a penalty in this game period.

Speaker 7 (02:09:06):
I told you by my Lambia business, there's multiple facilities
in the military area going up soon.

Speaker 6 (02:09:13):
Josh Bennett to tempt the extra point now from the
eight yard line. Kick is down, your snaps down, kick
us up and kick is good and the new score
forty four to nothing Oak Glenn Here with five point
fifty nine to go in the third quarter of action.
We'll be back in sixty seconds here on ninety four
point seven WLK.

Speaker 7 (02:10:40):
Hey, welcome back to Tiger's Valley High School where Oakland
gets into the end zone once again on a five place,
seventy six yard drive. Took all of two minutes and
thirteen seconds, and that was a sixteen yard or fifteen
yard touchdown run by Josh Mayer.

Speaker 2 (02:10:53):
Extra point of tip by Jake Bennett was good.

Speaker 16 (02:10:56):
Your new score Oakland forty four Tiger's Valley zero.

Speaker 6 (02:11:01):
Yeah, And there's the ensuing penalties are going to be
enforced on this kickoff and Oaklann's gonna kick it from
the Tigerts Valley forty five is Greg sours and he's
gonna boot it and Drennan's gonna receive it right at
the goal line, and he's gonna try to get some

(02:11:21):
yard and she's gonna run to the right trans side
and he's gonna.

Speaker 2 (02:11:24):
Try to get out.

Speaker 6 (02:11:24):
He gets out to about the twenty yard line before
he scampers out of bounds, So the ball goes down
to the goal line, and we're gonna give Drennen a
twenty yard return on net where the Bulldogs are gonna
start action on about their own twenty I.

Speaker 7 (02:11:40):
I'll tell you what Drennan's done about everything he can
possibly do to try to keep the Bulldogs in the
game and try to promote some type of positive spark
for this offense. It just hasn't been much help on
the offensive side for him. Hi Lod, they're gonna spot
him about the seventeen.

Speaker 2 (02:11:56):
They sure did. It. Must have stepped out of bounds
a little older than we seemed.

Speaker 6 (02:12:06):
He did there all right, first and ten Bulldogs on
now a running clock for the rest of the game.
Running in the pistol with mcintee. He's gonna fake the
hand off the Stanley, gonna try to throw the ball
deep down field, and Ferris is going to hand fight
with Carter. Cameron Carter because that ball is gonna fall

(02:12:26):
to the ground incomplete.

Speaker 2 (02:12:29):
I'll tell you what. It looked like. The receiver was
wide open.

Speaker 7 (02:12:32):
That's a great job by Carter to turn around and
locate the football and break that pass up last second.

Speaker 6 (02:12:39):
Yeah, a real good job by Cameron Carter on that
play to get in there and break that play up.
Because he did have Aiden Ferris wide.

Speaker 7 (02:12:45):
Open on that play, I think he probably could have
aided letting a little bit more down the field.

Speaker 6 (02:12:53):
So with a three point thirty to go here in
the third quarter of action on the running clock now
as Oak Glenn has each have forty two point threshold
forty four to nothing, Tiger's valley is gonna come out
in the wing formation, Isaac Maxwell in the backfield mca
Tee in motion. They're gonna fumble the ball on the play.

(02:13:16):
It looks like the Bulldogs are gonna fall right on.
It looked like a bad snap. As we have a
new center into the ball game for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 7 (02:13:30):
Just then they took the hands off and I don't
think he had a very secure with the exchange from Drenning.
Fortunate it bounce right back into his hands.

Speaker 6 (02:13:39):
Yeah, are gonna be about a loss of five for
the Bulldogs on that play, third and fifteen from their
own twelve yard line to forty to play in this
third quarter of action, getting a lot.

Speaker 2 (02:13:50):
Of clean jerseys in now for Oak Glenn.

Speaker 6 (02:13:52):
They're in there, white away uniforms, pewter pants, powder blue trim,
powder blue numbers. Drenning in the shot gun snaps back.
He's looking down the field, looking to his left, looking
to his left. Now he's running. He's gonna throw the ball.
Heave it downfield about the forty yard line. Two Aiden Ferris, sorry,
Noah mact and that ball is gonna be broken up

(02:14:14):
by Carter Campbell again.

Speaker 7 (02:14:16):
Again great recognition, great drop by him, like Carter that is,
look back and loc hate the ball. And once again
Jackson dreading under all kinds of duress in the backfield.

Speaker 6 (02:14:30):
Yeah, Jackson's been running for his life for the most
part of this last game of the season. Brings up
fourth and fifteen for the Bulldogs. I'm assuming in this
part of the field, you're just gonna.

Speaker 2 (02:14:43):
Pun it away. Let's see if we have a new punter.

Speaker 6 (02:14:47):
It looks like Leam Moyer is gonna be the punter.
I believe that's Liam Moyer. Seventy seven. Eli Lee, Okay,
Eli Lee is gonna take the snap, gonna get the
punt away. One is partially blocked. It's going to take
a Bulldog roll as it hits about the forty yard line,
going to roll all the way over to the Oaklands

(02:15:07):
side of the field. It's going to be down about
the forty nine yard line, four of the Bulldogs, and
that's where the Golden Bears.

Speaker 2 (02:15:14):
Are going to take over.

Speaker 6 (02:15:18):
So Oakland's going to take the ball over on the
Tigerts Valley side of the field. With a minute and
four seconds to go here in the third quarter of action,
as it's forty four to nothing, Oakland ball at the
forty eight yard line.

Speaker 2 (02:15:39):
D Any updates on scores of note.

Speaker 7 (02:15:43):
Well right now Martinsburg actually has taken the lead after
being down seventeen nothing to start the game. They now
leads twenty four to seventeen. In the Quade game of
the week, Tucker County is still rolling as they lead
thirty eight to fourteen. Fairmunt Senior all over East Fairmont
right now forty nine nothing.

Speaker 6 (02:16:05):
Remember this is the final fighter Frital Friday night of
high school football in West Virginia Oak Glenn currently leading
Tigert Valley here forty four to nothing with twelve seconds
to go. Here in the third quarter of action, running clock,
Adams under center takes the snap. He's going to keep
himself quarterback keeper out the right hand side of the

(02:16:26):
field and he's gonna run gets near the first down
marker as the clock runs out here on the third
quarter of action here in Mill Creek, and we'll be
back in sixty seconds here on ninety four point seven
w e OK.

Speaker 6 (02:17:51):
Here on the final Friday night of high school football season,
the Tigers Valley Bulldogs are currently trailing the Oakland Golden
Bears forty four nothing here in the fourth quarter of action.
It's going to be a running clock for the rest
of the game in this final Friday for Targets Valley.
The white hat starts swinging his arm around. Hopefully we

(02:18:15):
got a new quarterback in for Oakland. Looks like Jackson Dermer,
and he's gonna hand the ball off to Caden Richie,
Cayden Richie.

Speaker 2 (02:18:29):
There we go again.

Speaker 6 (02:18:30):
Here we go, people up bouncing around. We got a
flag on the play. The flag is gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (02:18:35):
Before the skirmish.

Speaker 16 (02:18:37):
I'm sure if it was a hold, what they gotta
call here.

Speaker 2 (02:18:40):
But yeah, I'm not real sure what the penalty is
gonna be face mask. So yeah, it's a face mask
against the Bulldogs.

Speaker 16 (02:18:53):
Luckily they didn't throw a second flag for the extracurriculars.

Speaker 2 (02:18:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:18:58):
Again, you gotta get this game under control. If you're
coach Clarkson, that penalty is going to take them down
to the twenty seven yard line. We got another flag

(02:19:22):
on the play. We just got flags all over the place.

Speaker 2 (02:19:25):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 16 (02:19:25):
These referees are gonna need some icy hut.

Speaker 2 (02:19:27):
Yeah, they are.

Speaker 7 (02:19:30):
A personal foul on Tigerts Valley. I'm probably burning every
time out I have. Yeah, and at this point, I
wouldn't care who heard me, but there would be a
conversation with my team. I'd pray call extra timeouts. I'd
ask oak Clinn if I could use their too.

Speaker 6 (02:19:50):
There'd be a lot of timeouths being called to get
these guys calm down. That penalty is going to take
them down to the fourteen yard line. First and ten.
Oak Glenn here with ten twenty five, I've left to
go in the game again. New quarterback for oak Glenn
was Jackson Dermer. New in the backfield is.

Speaker 2 (02:20:12):
I don't have that number.

Speaker 6 (02:20:14):
Dermer's gonna take it. He's gonna roll out to his left.
He's gonna get hit by one, two, three, bulldogs. Whistles
are blown. He's gonna be sacked on the play. I
think they was supposed to be a rollout pass.

Speaker 7 (02:20:24):
It was supposed to be a rollout pass. But he
had all kinds of room on that left side. He
could have probably either picked up the first out or
possibly got in the end zone.

Speaker 6 (02:20:33):
You know, gonna be a seven yard loss on the
play for the Bears. Second and seventeen from the Tigers
Valley twenty one. Oakland taking their time because this game
is gonna be. This game's well in hand. They're gonna
pick up their first win.

Speaker 2 (02:20:47):
Of the season. They're gonna move the one to nine
barring amazing miracle.

Speaker 7 (02:20:52):
Boy, how how good is that rust guy? Gonna rusty
rust bus ride, gonna fiel going back. I'll get it out.

Speaker 2 (02:20:57):
Eventually the rust bide's gonna be that Burmer under center.

Speaker 6 (02:21:02):
He's gonna keep it and he's gonna be tackled for
loss on the play as Oak Glenn's got a lot
of their younger kids in right now. Looks like a
lot of freshmen, a lot of clean white jerseys in
for Oak Glenn.

Speaker 7 (02:21:15):
You talked about it earlier, fourteen freshmen on this Oak
Glenn team, very very young team.

Speaker 6 (02:21:24):
Yeah, a whole new backfield, a lot of clean white
jerseys in there for Oak Glenn. All the starters are
over there, sitting on the sideline. You and I can
look across. We got the binoculars. A lot of dirty
jerseys on the sideline, a lot of clean ones out
on the field.

Speaker 2 (02:21:38):
As it should be.

Speaker 6 (02:21:40):
Burmer under center, he's gonna take the snap. He's going
to hand it off to Cad and Richie. Cad and Richie,
who played a very nice game on defense, has nowhere
to go here on offense. I'm gonna be tackled for
another loss of yards there by Cad and Richie. S
Braydon Arbagass was on the tackle.

Speaker 7 (02:22:00):
It's probably got extremely lucky again because I saw a
playing this day with the binocular. There's another face mask.
It was a grabbing release. It was quick, but nonetheless
a lot of hands up near that head.

Speaker 6 (02:22:10):
I think these six officials are just trying to get
out of here without any major issues right now, as
we've already had three players ejected at Glenn player ejected
the beginning of the game, and two Tiget Value players
rejected here in the third quarter.

Speaker 16 (02:22:23):
Refs are sore, they're tired.

Speaker 6 (02:22:25):
Fourth and twenty two for the Golden Bears, dermam going
to keep the hand. He snap, He's going to go down.
It's going to be a turnover on down for the
Golden Bears. As Maxwell and McAtee in on that play,
so young kids in for Glenn on that possession. Not
a whole lot going on, a lot of tackles for

(02:22:46):
Lost as Tigerts Valley's going to take over. With seven
point thirty to play here in this.

Speaker 16 (02:22:59):
Game right now is about that moment where it starts
to sink in.

Speaker 7 (02:23:03):
If you're a senior, you know, I know there's a
song called five more minutes, but you look at what
that clock is.

Speaker 16 (02:23:09):
Time starts to take away, It starts to sink in
that this is it Jackson.

Speaker 6 (02:23:14):
Drennan's still under center for the Bulldogs, trying to take
a few more snaps to finish out his career.

Speaker 2 (02:23:19):
MCA tee in motion.

Speaker 6 (02:23:21):
Drenning drops back, tries to find open receiver down the
field and tries to get at to Austin Gear and
he had passed is going to fall incomplete because that
pass falls to Gear on the play.

Speaker 2 (02:23:35):
Drennan's thrown some absolute beautiful balls.

Speaker 7 (02:23:38):
It's just he's had a lot of balls that are
hitting fingertips that are just getting dropped.

Speaker 6 (02:23:43):
Yeah, a lot of drop balls tonight for the Bulldogs.
As Drennan is three for eleven for twenty six yards
and one interception. Second and ten Bulldogs from their own
twenty eight yard line six and a half to play
here in the final game of the season for the Bulldogs.

(02:24:04):
Drennan under center, Stanley and McAteer of the wings Maxwell
in at the half full back position. Handoff goes to
Stanley off the right hand side. Stanley's got some running room,
He's got the first down, He's got a.

Speaker 2 (02:24:15):
Little bit more. He's gonna be tackled and keeps growing, keeps.

Speaker 6 (02:24:18):
His legs driving. He's out to about the fifty yard
line for the officials finally glow the play dead. Good
hard run there by Elijah Stanley. Oh, guess what you
got flags on the play? Twenty four yard line. There
is some yellow stuff that appears to be a flag
on the far side.

Speaker 2 (02:24:31):
Oh, there's some flags on the play. How about that?

Speaker 16 (02:24:34):
So your referee theory is now out the door, my friend, Well.

Speaker 6 (02:24:38):
It's not hard to call fouls when the penalties when
the clock still running. It looks like it's going to
be a hold on the Bulldogs, as this one's gonna
come back. Holder of blocking the back. But it's a
good run by Stanley on the play.

Speaker 2 (02:24:49):
Was absolutely was.

Speaker 6 (02:24:53):
So we got a penalty on the play. See how
far they move them back about that twenty four yard line.
So it's gonna go down as a four yard penalty.
Second and fourteen now for the Bulldogs with about five
fifteen to go here in the final game of the
regular season here in Milk Creek, on a beautiful evening

(02:25:13):
here on November eighth. Drennen in the shotgun Maxwell to
his left. Drennen drops back, he's scanning the field. He
throws a pass downfield. He's got Ferris wide open, Ferris
is gonna come down with the catch right at about
the forty five yard line of Oakland.

Speaker 2 (02:25:33):
Nice passing catch the Ferris. I think Zack.

Speaker 6 (02:25:39):
Gear and Ferris were both the intended target and the
Ferris was the one that came down with it on
the forty four yard line. Thirty two yards on the
pass and catch for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 7 (02:25:46):
I was gonna say, it's probably not the play that
was caught as far as far as two receivers being
in the exact same spot, but nonetheless it worked out.

Speaker 6 (02:25:54):
Yeah, we did have two receivers right there in the
same spot again, but either one of them could have
came down with it. It looked like Ferris came down
with it as Gear try it on to play sets
up a first and ten from the Oakland forty four
to four Tigerts Valley single wing formation fake to Maxwell
Drendon's gonna drop back, He's gonna try to throw the football.
He's got Gear over the middle at about the twenty

(02:26:17):
five yard line. A nice passing catch on that play.
Gonna pick up nineteen yards on to play for of
the Bulldogs as they are driving.

Speaker 2 (02:26:24):
Getting some good yardage here tonight. On this drive.

Speaker 7 (02:26:27):
Good job bustin gear to hang on to that one.
He's struggled all night trying to bring that ball in.
Nonetheless comes up with a big catch there.

Speaker 6 (02:26:35):
Bulldogs trying to get on the scoreboard here in this
final game of the regular season. Again, don't forget that
ninety four point seven WLK and house Hunters Real Estate
wants you to wish the Tigerts Valley cheerleader squad best
of luck in the regional competition tomorrow and Lincoln High School.
If you get a chance, go cheer on the cheerleading
squad from Tigerts Valley best of Luckner, house Hunters real
Estate and all of us at ninety four point seven

(02:26:56):
w elk that is tomorrow at ten am.

Speaker 2 (02:26:59):
You won't regret it, and I promise.

Speaker 6 (02:27:01):
Bulldogs first and ten from the twenty five handoff two
looks like braidon Arbaygas. Braid Arby Gass is going to
go on the right hand side. He's gonna get hit
and tackled down around the five six yard line. That
might have been Dakota Adams. I'm sorry it was Dakota Adams,
not braid arbag Gast. Good hard run, by Adams. He's

(02:27:25):
a senior playing in his last game. Looks like the
ball is going to be spotted on the eight.

Speaker 7 (02:27:31):
And this is good confidence as you're in this game
for the Bulldogs, it's gotta give you. You have to
at this point, you've got to find anything to build
off of.

Speaker 6 (02:27:44):
I think the coach is trying to get Adams a
touchdown here late in the season as a senior. Drennan
dropped back. He throws the ball to Stanley. Stanley out
on the right hand side, he dranks a move, tries
to make a man miss. He's gonna catch it and
go down out of bounds about.

Speaker 2 (02:27:58):
The four yard line.

Speaker 7 (02:28:03):
Ken Jackson Jennen has done a wonderful job throwing the football.
He's throwing some beautiful passes. Stats won't necessarily reflect.

Speaker 14 (02:28:11):
It, but.

Speaker 6 (02:28:17):
Tiger's Valley gonna sorry he went out of the six,
not the four two yard game. On the play two
minutes to play here in the final regular season game,
Bulldogs come out, looks like Liam Moyer a now the center,
Drennan under center, two wings to each side, hand the

(02:28:37):
ball off the braidon Arby gast arb Gas fumbles the
ball around Wade cabinists jumps on it. Recovered by the
Bulldogs on that play.

Speaker 2 (02:28:47):
Very fortunate. Looks like it's gonna be about a loss
of two on the.

Speaker 7 (02:28:55):
Play Tiger's Valley. You're gonna do anything possible to try
to get six here.

Speaker 6 (02:29:01):
Yep, winding clock here, a minute twenty left in the game.
Liam Moyer leads the team out of the huddle. Third
and goal from the eight. Drennen in the pistol, Brandon
Arbigas to his left, snap his back. Drenning going to
take it off the left hand side. Good blocking and

(02:29:22):
he's going to walk into the end zone for the touchdown.
Jackson Drennan going to get a touchdown here on his
last home game.

Speaker 2 (02:29:31):
Well, he earned it and he deserved it. He's been
under pressure all night long.

Speaker 7 (02:29:35):
He's done everything he could to make as many plays
as possible, and with just under a minute to go
in his career, as far as the football Fielks, Etcerna
put six on the board.

Speaker 6 (02:29:49):
Yeah, Drennen went off that left hand side was able
to get in for the eight yard touchdown run. As
the clock is winding down towards zero here on the
season for the Bulldogs, They're gonna fall to two and eight.
Oakland's going to improve their record to one and nine.
A lot of good things to improve on if you're
coach Taylor in this absolutely team looking forward to next year.

(02:30:10):
Two point conversion. Hand the ball off to Wade Cattin.

Speaker 2 (02:30:14):
I believe I was a.

Speaker 6 (02:30:15):
Wade Cabinets seven seventy two. Wade Cabinets in for the
two point conversion.

Speaker 16 (02:30:23):
Yeah, get the big fell out of the end zone
one last time for himself.

Speaker 2 (02:30:28):
That's the end of the ball game.

Speaker 6 (02:30:32):
We will be back here Finals four tonight, Oakland forty
four Tigers Valley eight.

For the Tigers Valley Bulldogs as they lose tonight to
Oakland forty four to eight and Dmaniel, what can you
say about this ball game?

Speaker 7 (02:33:10):
Real quick, I'll tell you what. Kudos to coach Dog
Taylor and the Golden Bears. They came in prepared, they
came in on a mission, they completed the mission. They
were great on the both sides of the ball. For
Tigers Valley, definitely not the way you want to go out.
You know, a lot of things to take from this
game that you can build off of. If your coach CJ. Clarkson,

(02:33:31):
who's in his first year, you know, again, just a
kudos to Oakland for a stellar performance tonight. Tigers Valley,
you can regroup, bring the new kids in, you learn
from it, you move on.

Speaker 2 (02:33:45):
All right.

Speaker 6 (02:33:46):
Well, let's go over the stat leaders for both teams.
For Tigers Valley, Jackson's running six for fourteen seventy nine
yards throwing the football twelve Russia's thirteen yards in the touchdown.

Speaker 2 (02:33:56):
That's about it for Tigers Valley. For Oakland, Josh Mayer, what.

Speaker 6 (02:34:01):
Can you say, twelve carries, two hundred and thirteen yards,
three touchdowns. Oak Glenn amassed three hundred and thirty six
yards tonight, three hundred and four of them on the ground.

Speaker 2 (02:34:10):
Wow. The'manuel good overall effort tonight by Oak Glenn.

Speaker 6 (02:34:14):
