Here's Greg White, and we welcome you into Hamilton, West
Virginuine are at Tucker County High School. Correg White courtside
literally courtside, our broadcast location at the end, just offset
from the basket. Ready to bring you what we think
is going to be a phenomenal basketball game here tonight

(01:08):
the two and ozer Tucker County Mountain Lions and the
three and oh Tigerts Valley Bulldogs.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
It is going to be a.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Great basketball game here tonight. Tiger's Valley comes in.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
Had a ten.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
Point win against Pendleton County about a week ago.

Speaker 5 (01:25):
Then the following day.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Pretty easy win against Harmon, which again you'll hear Tom
Walmsley talk about that later on. They knew they kind
of outnumbered them number wise, just a battle of attrition
and Tiger's Valley wins that one, seventy three to thirty eight.
And then back on Tuesday night, Tigert's Valley had to
come from behind to beat the very good Union team

(01:49):
forty eight to forty four. So they've got Tucker County
here tonight. Tucker County obviously a little late getting started
with basketball. They were only in their ninth day of
playing basketball, because they made it all the way to
the semifinals of the Single A High School Football Championships.

(02:09):
Congratulations to aj Rapp and his football team.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
But those guys had to.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Turn their football pads in and get their basketball shorts on,
and we're ready to play basketball. So they started back
a couple of nights ago, about four nights ago. Their
first game against mountain Ridge, Maryland. They won that one
fifty nine to forty five, and then two nights ago,
they went all the way down to Franklin to take
on a pretty good Pendleton County team. But they are

(02:36):
struggling Pendleton County right now. Pendleton County zero to four
on the season, and Tucker County ends up getting to
win on the road seventy one to sixty two.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
So really for Daniel Hell make the.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Head coach of Tucker County quite the battle with his schedule.
He had a game on the sixteenth, which was four
nights ago, two nights ago, a game, He's got this
one on Monday, He's got Gilmer County. Then they've got
there in a tournament at Lincoln on December twenty seventh
and twenty eighth. They play East Hardy on December thirtieth,

(03:11):
and then they roll right into January. So not a
lot of holiday time off for this Tucker County Mountain
Lion squad. On the other side, Tigers Valley, this will
be their last game of the week. They're going to
obviously take Christmas week off and they will be back
at it on Monday, December thirtieth at Trinity Christian. So

(03:33):
lots going on the full crowd. The Tucker County stands
are absolutely packed. They are just off to our left
across the way a lot of Tucker County fans taking
up about half the bleachers, the other half filled with
the red and black of the Tigers Valley Bulldogs. Want
to take an opportunity to thank all of our broadcast sponsors.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
And also a new in addition to our regular.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
In the locker room.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Now our pregame show continues ninety four point seven. Weok
joined by Tigers Valley head coach Tom Walmsley and three
and oh, that's a pretty good start to the season.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
You gotta be happy with that, Yeah, we are.

Speaker 9 (06:56):
You know, the first game was a big one, getting
to win over Pennton County and and you know Harmon,
Uh you know they they they played well and played hard,
but uh, we knew they we had a mountain numbered.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
You know.

Speaker 9 (07:13):
The Union game, we were we were just we had
to gut that one out. We we didn't play well,
uh and we just we just were content to hang
with them and got in the fourth quarter and we
found another gear.

Speaker 10 (07:29):
But if hadn't been for that, we we would have
lost that game. There. Unions gave us all we wanted
and more.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
You know, it looked like, you know, looking at the
stats and stuff.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Back to the Union game, struggled a little bit in
in the shooting part of the game from the floor.
So you know, how do you how do you get
a team when they're not shooting well early.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
To kind of get back in a rhythm.

Speaker 9 (07:52):
Well, you know, we just told the kids, you're going
to have to play your butts off on defense and
until our shooting comes around. You just you know, good
shooters will finally find the streak and start getting comfortable.
But we just had to keep it close with our defense,
which our defense did fairly well. Our perimeter defense was

(08:13):
pretty good. Our interior defense was terrible, and and that's
why we trailed for three quarters.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
You know, one of the players, of course, we've talked
about your starting lineup. You've got four seniors in the
starting lineup, but one of the first guys off the
bench is a sophomore in Parker Bell and of course
he lit up against Pendleton County for twenty nine points.
Talk a little bit about that young man's play.

Speaker 9 (08:36):
Well, he's got the potential to do that every time out.
He's he is shot well and and he's a gym rat.
He's all the time in the gym all the time,
working on on different things. You know, he's not real big,
but he's really quick and he understands angles, he understands

(08:56):
how to get to a spot and get his shot off.
He's got a high basketball IQ besides being quick and
a great work ethic, So you know his future is bright.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
You know another player that he's very quiet. I don't
know that I've ever heard him say anything.

Speaker 10 (09:13):
Is Kendall armstrong.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
But boy, when he gets on the line from three
point range, he's on fire.

Speaker 10 (09:19):
Well, and I'll tell you the big surprise.

Speaker 9 (09:22):
We we always knew that Kendall could shoot with Kendley
just needed to put the time in working on it.
Kendall could shoot when he was a sixth and seventh grader.
He's always been a good shooter. But the thing that
a lot of people don't notice with Kendall this year,
he's one of our best perimeter defenders. He he's played

(09:44):
a great defensive game all three games, and we've been
pleasantly surprised as how well and how dedicated he's been
on the defensive end.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
Well, we come in here tonight up on the mountain.
We've got Tucker County, always a tough matchup. They're two
and oh little bit late start due to the football season.
So what do we know about this team and what
do we have to do to to get the win.

Speaker 10 (10:08):
Well, it's a typical tough Tucker team.

Speaker 9 (10:10):
They're they're going to be physical, they have some quickness
and and and they don't while they don't have the
size that they've had in the past, of course Will
Fong just makes up for a lot of mistakes.

Speaker 10 (10:23):
Around the lane.

Speaker 9 (10:25):
So, uh, you know, great athletes, they're they're gonna come
out and they're gonna play hard and not give you anything.
And and thing about Tucker throughout the years, they don't
beat themselves. You know, it's rare that you see them
make mistakes there and they're they'll beat you on your mistakes.
And that has a lot to do with with their

(10:47):
success throughout the years. And so we're gonna have to
be pretty mistake free. We're going to have to play
great defense, especially interior wise, and uh and take care
of the ball.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
All right, we'll find out how it goes Tucker County
Tiger's Valley coming up ninety four point seven.

Metro News Game Night after Tigerts Valley Football on ninety
four point seven w Elk.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Welcome back in to Tucker County High School. Greg White
court side here, Grand mix Master B Brad Workman perfection
back at Master Control, taking care of us, making us
sound good as we are ready for Tucker County and
Tigerts Valley. Here on the home court of the Tucker
County Mountain Lions. We're about five minutes or so away

(12:35):
from tip off. Here on the pregame show, let's take
a look at the starting lineups. First of all, for
the Tucker County Mountain Lions under head coach Daniel Helmick,
they are two and zero on the season, defeating mountain Ridge,
Maryland and Pendleton County. They will go with five to
ten junior guard Mikey Mitchell. The other guard is five

(12:59):
to eleven Trevin Bonner. The forwards Xander Lambert. He is
a six foot two junior and six foot two junior
Sam Marx, the quarterback of the football team, also a
forward on the basketball team. And in the middle six
foot three senior Garrett will Fong.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
So again for.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
Tucker County, they will go with Mitchell, Bonner in the
back court, Lambert and marks out on the wings and
will Fong underneath the basket.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Tucker County and their home white.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Uniforms with the yellow trim the dark brown numerals trimmed
in yellow for Tigers Valley. They are under head coach
Tom Walmsley. They have a three to zero record on
the season, defeating Pendleton County, Harmon and Union. Leading into
the game, the backcourt will be five to seven senior

(13:50):
ian Harris Harris averages seven points and just under three
rebounds a game. Two guard five to ten senior Avery
Rowl Spinaggle five points and just over one rebound a game,
and Kendalla Armstrong five to eleven senior guard seven and
a half points, three and a half rebounds a ballgame.

(14:13):
Cayden Moore out on the wing six foot three senior,
he averages three and a half points a game, two
rebounds a game, and Jacob Walmsley in the middle six
foot three junior seventeen points a game nearly ten rebounds.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
He's very close to a double on the season.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
So again it'll be Harris, Spinaggle and Armstrong those are
your guards more out on the wing and Jacob Walmsley
up under nath.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
So apparently.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Mike Depascal will say, oh, okay, Mike Depascal, who as
you know is my broadcast partner during high school football. Well,
he is also now an assistant basketball he's the assistant
basketball coach and the JV coach for Tigers Valley High School,

(15:15):
so he will not be on the radio during basketball season.
But he did come over and apparently there was a
uniform issue with the books. And when you have once
the official looks at the official score book and signs
off on it. If there is a number difference, if
there is a player incorrectly identified on the official stat book,

(15:39):
that is a technical foul. So to start the game,
Tucker County has been assessed a technical foul, and Tiger's
Valley will get two shots to start the game and
the basketball so there will not be a jump ball
at mid court to start the game. Do again to

(16:00):
an incorrect bit of information in the book, And normally speaking,
you know, that's nothing egregious. That basically is just an
oversight on the part of the book keeper. Sometimes it
happens a player changes numbers. Any of those things could happen.
But at the end of the day, what we've run
into now is a situation where Tucker County has been

(16:22):
assessed a technical so teams.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
Are warming up.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
We're still about a minute and a half away from
the start of the game, and again Tigers Valley will
start out shooting free throws and they will get the
basketball to start the game. Do you want to remind you,
of course, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day coming up Tuesday and Wednesday.
Right here on ninety four point seven. We okay, we

(16:47):
want to take you home for the holidays. Thirty two
hours of continuous Christmas music starting at four o'clock on
Tuesday afternoon for Christmas Eve. If you're traveling to see family,
we've got you covered.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
With the Christmas music.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
And of course you know while you are spending time
with your family, you can have us on in the background.
Thirty two hours of continuous Christmas music starting at four
o'clock on Christmas Eve, all the way up until midnight
on Christmas Night. So we're happy to do that for you.
Clock winding down, teams are headed to their respective benches.

(17:26):
Tiger's Valley, by the way, in their road uniforms, those
are the red jerseys, they're red trousers. The white numerals
it says Tigerts above the number on the front. It
says Valley below the number on the front teams are
out and it looks like we're getting ready for the

(17:46):
introduction of the starting lineups.

Speaker 5 (17:50):
Again. We'll recap those for.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
You by the way over on our sister station twelve
forty AM and ninety nine point nine FMWD and E.
Starting here probably about now girls basketball with the Philip
Barber Lady Colts, Jeff Rogers and Brian Bibe on the
call from Philipp Lewis County at Philip Barber. That game
on WD and E AM, and of course we bring

(18:13):

Speaker 4 (18:20):
They finished up a couple of nights ago for the
December schedule broadcast schedule and they will be back on
the air on Saturday, January fourth against this Tucker County team.
So Tucker County and Elkins will be on ninety eight
nine WD and E on Saturday, January the fourth, starting

(18:41):
at seven o'clock. And while we're talking about that, one
schedule update for you. On Tuesday, January the twenty eighth
Tigers Valley is having a Senior Night recognition before that game,
so that will be a six o'clock start for the
boys game. Once again, put that on your calendars. We

(19:02):
will have that game for you here on w ELK.
It'll be Tuesday, January the twenty eighth union at Tigerts Valley.
It is a six o'clock tip off here on ninety
four point seven w e l K.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
So we've got our excitable pa announcer here.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
I never can remember his name, but he's you know,
he's very energetic and absolutely you know, loves this team
as everybody does up here.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
It's a great always a.

seven w e LK High School football and select the

(19:54):
boys basketball games throughout the season. Again, teams are being introduced.
You can kind of hear the crowd in the background.
We expect an up tempo game. I think the big
matchup is going to be underneath between sixty three Garrett
will Fong of Tucker County and six y three Jacob Walmsley,
both guys.

Speaker 5 (20:13):
Very tall and very athletic. Here's what we're gonna do.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
We're gonna step away as we honor America with the
national anthem, and then we'll be back with the opening
tip off. It's Tucker County in Tiger's Valley coming up

Speaker 1 (21:58):
For Bulldog Sports four point seven. W elk.

Speaker 5 (22:04):
All right, we are back now. We are ready to
start the game again.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
A technical foul due to an error in the books
gives Tiger's Valley two free throws to start the game.
They send Kendall Armstrong to the lane. He sinks the
first one and no time off the clock. Tiger's Valley
as the lead, they will get another one. Kendall Armstrong
at the line shot up good, so Kendall Armstrong sinks them.

(22:27):
Both Bulldogs have the basketball at mid court. We are
in the corner on the baseline, so I'm looking ninety
three feet down the court. That's where Tiger's Valley is
playing basketball In bounds. Play comes to Ian Harris between
the circles, dribbles over to his right. Bounced pass stolen

(22:49):
away by Trevin Bonner, drives in tunks. It so a
quick steal and a turnover, and we're tied at two.
Now they work it underneath, quick pass, underneath a cada.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
He'll lay it in.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
Nice vision by Tiger's Valley. On the other end, here
comes Tucker County. Seven and a half to go in
the first quarter. It's four to two Tiger's Valley. Now
here is a three on the way. It is up
and no good by Lambert. Rebound stolen away. Tiger's Valley
has it. Bulldogs quickly into the front court, stopping and popping.

(23:24):
Ian Harris right wing up and cook for three. Seven
to two. Tiger's Valley on top. En Harris rattles home
a three into the front court. Trevan Bonner works it
the Sam Mark's over on the right wing. Top of
the key they go and they work it around. Here
is a three from the left wing. It is up
and good for Trevin Bonner. He's got all five of

(23:47):
the points. The inbounds play is stolen away Mikey Mitchell
lays it in and he is fouled. So quick hands
the second turnover against Tiger's valley and the foul called
on Ian Harris his first. Mitchell at the line. We're

(24:08):
tied at seven. We haven't even lead two minutes yet.
LODs of action, quick hands up and down the court.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
We go. Mitchell ready at the line, just in front
of us, free throw up good.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
Tucker County takes the lead eight to seven. Full court
man to man pressure Armstrong into the front court for
Tiger's valley. They work it into the deep right corner
to Caden More top of the key, almost stolen away
to Ian Harris. Bounce pass in the corner to Armstrong,
back to Harris looking inside. Back in the corner. They
go back out high, working with the basketball Tiger's valley.

(24:44):
They trail by a point. Ian Harris has it bounce pass,
no look in the corner to Armstrong. Splits a double
team works it out to spinoggle to Ian Harris, Harris
back to Avery Rowl's spinagle on the right wing picked
up there on a double team. He's in trouble. Looking
gets it to Kayden Moore in the deep right corner.
More Looking brings it out high to Ian Harris. Head

(25:05):
fake drives in shot up off the back of the iron.

Speaker 5 (25:08):
No Good.

Speaker 4 (25:09):
Walmsley fighting for the rebound. He has it and a
tie up possession ar row two Tucker County that will
unfortunately go down as a turnover after the rebound by
Jacob Walmsley couldn't get out of traffic. Tucker County with
an eight to seven lead and the basketball. Bonner into

(25:30):
the front court working with it.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
Goes on the left side.

Speaker 4 (25:34):
As they work it around the perimeter, Bonner watchs there
by Kendall Armstrong top of the key Mitchell. Mitchell has
the ball swatted away for a moment. He runs it back.
Now here's the give and go. Bonner drives in shot
up shot Good went up over Cayden Moore.

Speaker 5 (25:53):
And on the other side a travel is called.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Ian Harris trapped, could not get away from the double
team and track with the ball. The fourth turnover in
two and a half minutes here against Tiger's Valley. They
trailed ten to seven. Tucker County. Mitchell has it top
of the key. Ian Harris harassing him, Mitchell working with it, dribbling,
drives down the right side, has the ball poked away

(26:16):
from behind. It'll stay with Tucker County. Both teams quick hands,
swatting at the basketball, double teams, triple teams, traps.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
It's gonna get crazy. Inbounds.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Blake comes into the back court to Sam Marx. Marx,
the quarterback of the football team, runs the point this time,
works it over to Bonner on the left wing. Bonner
has the ball swatted away. Kendall Armstrong with the steel,
the drive, the shoot, the score. Kendall Armstrong got the steel,
and we're coming the other way. Tucker County a little

(26:52):
out of control. They lead ten to nine. Will Funk
comes in, tries to junk it. It is swatted away,
saved inbounds, a fight for it. The limestrong's got it.
Here we go down the court. Armstrong cut off, brings
it out to Avery Ralse Spinagle on the right wing
underneath the go Walmsley backing in.

Speaker 5 (27:09):
Turn, shoots in and out.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
Tough luck miss and the rebound comes down to Tucker County.

Speaker 5 (27:16):
Mountain Lions into the front court. They work it underneath
the basket, reverse layup. Sam marks wide open and he
scores twelve to nine.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Tucker County on top Tiger's Valley with the basketball, they
work it into the front court, long cross court pass.

Speaker 5 (27:31):
Ian Harris picks it up on the scoop, drives in,
lays it in.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
Twelve to eleven, Tucker County's lead. Now here's Mikey Mitchell
into the front court, drives the baseline.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
Shot is up.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
It is rejected.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
Caden Moore goes up and blocks the shot away. He
gets it out to Ian Harris. Ian Harris poked in
the eye, lost it. It is a turnover the other way.
Mitchell throws it up off the backboard. No good rebound
put back up by Wilson. He can't get it to go,
and now we've got a foul. I think that fowl
is going to go against Mitchell. Three point fifty five

(28:09):
to go in the opening corner of an up and
down basketball game. Tucker County twelve, Tiger's Valley eleven. Cayden
Arnold into the ball game, now four the Mountain Lions.
Ian Harris takes the inbounds, works at it mid court,
drifts over to his right side picked up there by Lambert.

(28:32):
Ball swatted away, poked away, and a tie up. This
time it'll stay with Tiger's Valley. Three forty to go
in the first quarter, twelve to eleven, Tucker County in
the lead. Tiger's Valley, with the basketball inbounds play comes
into Kendall Armstrong in the right corner. He circles all

(28:52):
the way out high, comes on the left wing to
Avery Rowse, spinaggles, Spinaggle works behind a screen, drives down
the right side of the lane.

Speaker 5 (28:59):
Back.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
Sam backs in. He's cut off there. Tried to get
it to Walmsley. The ball stolen away. Sam Mark stole it,
drove down and missed the layup, got his own rebound.

Speaker 5 (29:09):
Though it ran out high. So here we go.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Here is a shot on the way underneath the marks.
He can't get it to go. Finally gets his own rebound.
He had three looks at it and finally got it
in there. Sam Marx has fourth. It's fourteen to eleven,
a three point lead for Tucker County. Back and forth
they go battling here in hambleton Ian Harris for Tiger's

(29:35):
Valley gets it into Armstrong, throws it to Avery Rowl
Spinagel gets to mid court, comes on the left side
to Caden Moore more has it working with it against Lambert.
Now he drives down to the lane, almost has the
ball taken away, has to pick it up, work it
back out to Armstrong, fakes a pass inside, comes over
between the circles behind the back dribble stops and pops

(29:57):
from eighteen.

Speaker 5 (29:58):
And knocks it down. Actually it three. He was outside
of the art, so make it twenty and it's tied.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
At fourteen to thirty six to go in the opening quarter.
Working with it on the right side is Arnold. Arnold
being harassed by Ian Harris. He drives the baseline, he's
cut off there. They work it out to will Fong
top of the key. Here is a straightaway three for Lambert.

Speaker 5 (30:22):
It is no good.

Speaker 4 (30:23):
Rebound down two Tucker County and the ball stolen away
by Tiger's valley, then stolen right back.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
They work it over to Bonner for the three. It
won't go.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Bonner puts the shot up rebound at two Tucker County.
Shot is up by Arnold, no good and we've got
two free throws. Foul is called on the put back
attempt on Ian Harris. That's number two on Harris at
the line. Free throw up and in and out. No

(30:56):
good for Caden Arnold. He's got another one. Ian Harris
to the bench. Parker Bell into the ballgame for Tiger's Valley.
Second free throw Arnold good. One out of two at
the line. It's a one point lead for Tucker County.

(31:17):
We're at two minutes to go here and the opening quarter.
Parker Bell has it on the right wing, needs a
little help, works it to Avery Rousepinagle to Walmsley in
the corner. Kendall Armstrong wants a three. He comes off
the side of the iron. It is no good. Rebound
down to Tucker County. Tried to bounce pass on the
give and go to Will Fong. He slips it out
to Bonner. Bonner puts up a two and knocks it

(31:39):
down just inside of the three point arcts seventeen to fourteen.
Quickly up the court goes Tiger's Valley. They get it
to Kayden Moore. He is going to be bumped and
fouled by Sam Marks number one on Mars third team
foul seventeen fourteen. Tucker County on top a minute thirty

(32:03):
two to go. Here in the opening quarter in bounce
play comes into Parker Bell. He's watched by Kyd and
Arnold Bell works behind a screen. Now he'll drive down
the right side of the lane, falling away, floats up
a shot too strong, won't go, rebound, pulled down by
Tucker County. They are out rebounding Tigers Valley ten to three.
Here in the early going, Bonner has it between the circles,

(32:26):
comes to the right side to Lambert, back to Bonner
at the top of the key, looking underneath for Car
into the ballgame. Now for Tucker County cut off. There
they work it in the corner, drifting out, handing it off.
Here is a three on the way. It is up
and good for Carrott Will Thong knocks down the three

(32:48):
and it's the largest lead of the night for Tucker
County at six. Now here's ken al armstrong bounce pass
in the corner, Avery Rowse Spinagle quick release three. It
will not fall, and the rebound down to Tucker County,
driving all the way in on the give and go,
flipping it up with the finger. Roll is card and
it's twenty two to fourteen. Now Parker Bell on the

(33:11):
other end bumped and fouled as Adam Woods getting ready
to check into the ballgame for Avery Rals Monagal also
Alex Scott into the ballgame and Aidan ferris So trying
to give the starters a little bit of rest.

Speaker 5 (33:29):
It is a very up tempo game. Fowl is called on.

Speaker 4 (33:34):
Trevn Bonner, his first team's fourth bell into the front court,
drifts over to the right side, looking looking, thinking about
the three changed his mind, goes to Adam Woods. Woods
has it drives down the right side of the lane.
Tried to work at inside. It is a turnover. Ball
is stolen away. Here is a right side three. It

(33:54):
is up and no good for Trevin Bonner and we
go the other one. Hey, the shot is up and
it does not count. We've played one quarter twenty two
fourteen Tucker County on top of Tiger's Valley. We're back
in sixty seconds on ninety four point seven.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
Our scorer getting ready to start the second quarter of
action at Tucker County. The Mountain Lions have the lead
over Tiger's Valley and they have the basketball. Comes in
to Treven Bonner, Ethan Cummings into the game. Now for
Daniel Helmick's squad. The home team, Cayden Arnold works with it,

(35:47):
works it on the left side to car They come
to Cummings on the near side. He's got it, works
it out between the circles, back to Bonner. Bonner with
a jab step working against Adam Woods. And he traveled
with it and he knew it.

Speaker 5 (36:02):
He knew it.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
Now here's the crazy thing. That's only the fifth turnover
against Tucker County. They work it underneath Jacob Walmsley strong
to the basket, floats it up from about six feet
away and it's good. It's twenty two to sixteen lead
for Tucker Counties at six. We played right around a

(36:23):
minute here in the second quarter. Bonner works with it,
looks looks comes out to Cummings comings watched there by
Alex Scott of Tigers Valley. They work it to Garrett
will Fong. Will Fong watched by Walmsley. Jabstep drives in,
dunks it. He's been trying to do that in the
whole game. He missed a couple early on. He finally

(36:43):
got one it's twenty four to sixteen, eight point lead.
Now on the other side, there is a push fowl
against Cayden Arnold out of a number one on him.
First team foul of the second quarter. Scott Bell, Walmsley,
Ferris and Woods. That's the five on the court for
the Bulldogs of Tiger's Valley. Parker Bell has it. He's

(37:06):
gonna spot up for three right wing. It comes off
the side of the iron. It is no good rebound,
knocked out of bounds. It'll go to Tucker County. Looked
like from this angle that a Tucker County player got
a finger on it. We come the other way, come
toward us. It's Tucker County with the basketball. They work

(37:27):
it on the left side to Arnold. Arnold centers it up,
hands the ball off to Car. Car drifts around to
the left side, gives it to will Fong. Will Fong
looking inside. Ball poked away momentarily and then run down
by Tucker County. We got to tie up, and it's
a Tiger's Valley basketball six sixteen to go. First half,

(37:51):
twenty four to sixteen. Tucker County on top Tiger's Valley
with a basketball. Parker Bell into the front court, drifts
over to the right side, dishes it off to Adam
Scott like Scott brother.

Speaker 5 (38:00):
Scott drives the.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
Lane, dishes it off to Ferris underneath. Ferris has his
shot blocked, and we're coming the other way. Here's Trevin
Bonner drive shoots, can't get it to go, put back
up and in by Will Thong. Lots of action here
quickly down the court and it's a ten point lead
for Tucker County, their largest of the night. Here's Ferris

(38:21):
driving in, puts up the little hook shot, it will
not go, and the rebound down to Tucker County twenty
six sixteen.

Speaker 5 (38:30):
Mountain Lions with a ten point lead and the basketball.

Speaker 4 (38:32):
Will Fong drives in, has his shot blocked and he
is going to be fouled by Jacob Walmsley. That's number
one on Walmsley first team. Foul of the second quarter
and if you remember they changed that rule last year,
it's five fouls in a quarter leads to free throws.
Will Fong free throw good. Will Fong has eight, five

(38:59):
of those coming in the first two and a half
minutes of the second quarter. Will Fong ready again, free
throw good twenty eight to sixteen the lead is at
twelve for Tucker County. Parker Bell works his way into
the front court, looking inside, not much there, he goes

(39:20):
Kendall Armstrong back in the ballgame. Armstrong drifts down the
right side, goes to Parker Bell in the right corner.
He comes out almost has the ball poked away. Now
he picks it up, gets it to Scott Scott between
the circles, drives in back to Parker Bell. Bell drives
in no look past to Ferris, underneath to Walmsley, back
out high to Armstrong. Armstrong works around the screen. Three's

(39:44):
not there. Parker Bell with the basketball now on the
left wing, watched there by Arnold.

Speaker 5 (39:49):
Now he'll drive down the.

Speaker 4 (39:50):
Right side of the lane, puts his shoulder into it. Nope,
but he is going to be fouled on his way
to the basket. Foul I believe is gonna go again, Cummings.
Indeed it is comings with the first foul and Parker
Bell to the line. Has not scored here tonight. He

(40:10):
averages seventeen a game free throw up good. Jacob Walmsley
gets a much deserved rest, as does Aidan Ferris, Cayden
Moore and Avery Rowse Binaga back into the game for
the Bulldogs. Tucker County leads twenty eight seventeen second free
throw up no good, missed it rebound torn out of

(40:33):
there by Garrett will Fong of Tucker County. He gets
it ahead to Trevin Bonner left side, comings three.

Speaker 5 (40:39):
On the way. It is good.

Speaker 4 (40:42):
Daniel Hellmick told me he thought this might be the
best team he's had in a long time. And that's
saying something because his team's the last couple of years
have been really good. They're quick, they're athletic, they can shoot,
and they got quick hands. There's another steal coming the
other way, driving in as will Fong shot is up
and good and he's styled. So will Thong gets the

(41:04):
bucket and the harm Fowl is called on. Alex Scott
his first team second and will Fong back to the line,
eyes the basket, puts it up, got it thirty four seventeen.

(41:28):
Tucker County has turned defense into offense here in Hambleton.
In the first half. It's back and forth for a while,
and now it's a seventeen point advantage for the Mountain Lions.
Kenda Armstrong has at top of the key. Nothing there
goes to Parker Bell on the right wing. Bell back's
out looking underneath and Tom Walmsley wants to take a

(41:51):
time out. Four minutes to go in the first half,
thirty four to seventeen. Tucker County on top. We're back
in thirty seconds. On ninety four point seven.

Ducker County has taken advantage of a lot of turnovers
against Tiger's Valley. I've got them unofficially for twelve and
they have jumped out to a seventeen point lead. Thirty
four seventeen to go. Here in the first half, Tiger's
Valley with the basketball. Ken Armstrong has it left wing, working,
ball stolen away, Garrett.

Speaker 5 (43:04):
Will Fong drives in slamm dunk. Garrett will Fong likes
that dunk and he got it another turnover, another.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
Steal, and it's thirty six seventeen leaves at nineteen. Parker
Bell for Tigers Valley has it, gets it to Walmsley
at the foul line, left side to Ian Harris. They
work it underneath, tried to go underneath to kateen Moore
and he's going to be grabbed and foul. That fowl
going to be on kyd and Arnold, number two on

(43:35):
Arnold and that'll send Sam Marx back into the ball
game for Daniel Helmick squad Throe twenty six to go
first half, thirty six seventeen, Tucker County dominating here in
the first half, ball almost poked away from Parker Bell.
It was knocked out of bounds by Trevin Bonner and

(43:56):
it will stay with the Bulldogs. Kenda Armstrong ready to
bring it in manned man defense. They come into Ian
Harris point guard has it, works around the screen off
the right side, drives all the way in, floats up
a shot and he gets it to go seven points

(44:16):
for him. Now on the other side, Sam marks they
forgot about him and he just walked down and laid
it in easily for his sixth point. It's thirty eight nineteen.
Now on the other side, Parker Bell dishes it off
to Walmsley. Walmsley backing in, brings it back out to
Parker Bell. Bell dribbles out of trouble. Now he drives
the baseline cut off there, wanted to fall away, it's

(44:37):
not there. Comes to Caden Moore quick pass underneath. Jacob
Walmsley has his shot blocked and we're coming the other way,
driving in with the attempted dunk as Sam marks he
missed it and the rebound comes down to Tiger's valley.
Walmsley shot is blocked again on the other end, rebound down,
reverse layub for Marx and he scores. Jacob Walmsley is

(45:02):
being harassed underneath by Garrett Willpong right now back to
back block shots. It's forty to nineteen Tucker County on
top Ian. Harris gets up to Kendall Armstrong, deep right corner.
Armstrong looking underneath, works at to Walmsley. Walmsley drives in,
shot up, no good again, he's battling, and it comes
down to Garrett Willfong. He drives in, throws up a

(45:24):
wild shot. It won't go, but he will go to
the free throw.

Speaker 5 (45:26):
Line five blocks. Rebounding is dominated.

Speaker 4 (45:35):
By Tucker County here in the first half unofficially sixteen
to seven the rebounding And are they calling the They
called the fowl on the floor, so excuse me. I
thought it was a shooting fowl for Willfong.

Speaker 5 (45:51):
It is not.

Speaker 4 (45:55):
In bounds. Plea comes in to Lambert. Lambert to Trevin
Bonner a spot up from the left side for a three.
It will not go, and the rebound comes down to
Tiger's valley. Ian Harris into the front court, gets it
to Kenda Armstrong. He floats it up from about twelve.
Not a good shot there, the miss the rebound to
Tucker County Mountain Lions coming down the court. Trevin Bonner

(46:18):
tripped on his way to the basket, and he'll shoot
free throws. That foul called on Parker bell number one
on bell one minute forty three seconds to go. Here
in the opening half, forty to nineteen. Tucker County leading
Tiger's Valley. Trevin Bonner at the line. First free throw

(46:39):
up and good. He's got ten points here in the
first half. Another free throw is coming. Shot is up
and too strong off the back of the iron.

Speaker 5 (46:52):
No good.

Speaker 4 (46:53):
Rebound pulled down by Tiger's Valley's Caden Moore. Outlet pass
comes to Parker Bell. Parker Bell cut off looking thought
about a shot, but it's not there, gets it to
Caden Moore working against Will Fong out high. They come
to Ian Harris back near mid court, drifts over to
his left crossover bounce past, no look underneath, and it

(47:14):
is a turnover against Tiger's Valley. Spin move in the lane.
Shot is up by Carson Dearborn into the game. He
will not make the shot, but he will go to
the free throw line. Deerborn at the line, free throw

(47:37):
up and rolled around, hit every part of the rim
before it dropped. Fal called on Aidan Ferris. That's his
first team's fifth. So Tucker County shooting free throws from
here on out. Second free throw, no good comes off
the backboard, rebound into the hands of Caate and Moore
hands it off to Ian Harris. Here comes Tiger's valley,

(47:58):
working around the screen as Harris works it on the
low post to Aiden Ferris. Ferris with the spin move hook,
shot up and in and now tough luck miss, but
he will go to the free throw line. That foul
on I believe Trevin Bonner, No check me, Sam Marx

(48:18):
on the foul. That's number two on mister Mark's fourth
team foul and Aiden Ferris at the line. First free
throw up too strong, he will get another one. Ferris
of forty percent free throw shooter on the season, forty
two to nineteen Zucker County on time coming up at halftime,

(48:40):
we'll check stats recap the game gets you an update
from Metro News Sports. Second free throw in and out,
no good. Ferris, though, gets his own rebound tip back
to him Ian Harris left wing three. It won't go
rebound to Tucker County.

Speaker 5 (48:54):
Mountain Lions are on the run. Will Fong stops.

Speaker 4 (48:56):
Just across mid court, pops up a three bank to
end here at Will Thong knocks down the three. It's
forty five nineteen Tucker County in command here in the
first half With thirty five seconds to go, Parker Bell
works with it, drives the baseline. He's cut off. There
comes to the top of the key to Ian Harris.

(49:17):
Harris has it between the circles, drives down the right side,
has his shot rejected out of bounds by Carrot Will Thong.
It'll stay with Tiger's valley. With twenty four seconds to
go in the opening half, in Bell's play, looking, Armstrong
finds Parker Bell in the corner working against Bonner. Calls

(49:41):
first Green gets it, drives the baseline double team. There
comes way out high to Aiden Ferris. Ball is taking
away drive shoot score for Trevin Bonner. Another steal, another turnover.

Speaker 5 (49:56):
For Tiger's valley.

Speaker 4 (49:57):
Fifteen Here in the first half, Parker Bell, running out
of the floats, up the shot.

Speaker 5 (50:01):
It is no good and I think they called a foul.

Speaker 4 (50:04):
They did so Parker Bell, with no time on the clock,
will go to the free throw line. As we head
into halftime, there is no time on the clock, but
the foul was called and as time expired, Parker Bell

(50:26):
on the season, the sophomore an eighty eight percent free
throw shooter. He's ready, first shot up and a jinxtin
missed it. He's now one out of three at the
line here, and they did put two tenths of a

(50:48):
second back on the clock.

Speaker 5 (50:49):
By the way, second free throw.

Speaker 4 (50:51):
It is up, no good rebound, tip back up and
it will not go.

Speaker 5 (50:57):
And that is how we end the first half.

Speaker 4 (51:00):
It was a dominating performance in the second quarter for
Tucker County. They outscored Tiger's Valley in the second quarter
twenty five to five, forty seven to nineteen. That is
where our halftime score stands. Will step away for two minutes,
we'll come back. We'll recap the first half and get

We've been busy tabulating team and individual statistics. Tucker County
leeds forty seven to nineteen here at halftime over Tiger's Valley.
For Tucker County as a team, fifty eight percent from
the floor, eighteen out of thirty three overall, four out
of nine from the three point range, seven out of
ten at the free throw line. They have eighteen rebounds. Unofficially,

(01:00:21):
they have only six turnovers and they have stolen the
ball seven times. They also have five blocks as a team.
Tucker County let him scoring by Garrett will Thong seventeen
points for him Trevin Bonner with twelve, three points for
Mikey Mitchell and Ethan Cummings, two points for Cole Carr,

(01:00:44):
one point for Cayden Arnold and Carson Dearborn. Alexander Lambert
has played but has not scored for Tigers Valley. Not
shooting well at all thirty percent from the floor to
seven out of twenty three, two out of six from
three point range, three out of eight at the free
throw line. That's thirty eight percent. They only have eleven

(01:01:07):
rebounds on the night. They are getting route rebounded eighteen
to eleven. They have turned the ball over a wopping
sixteen times. They've only got two steals and only one
block on the night. Let In scoring by Ian Harris
and Kendall Armstrong seven points apiece, two points for Jacob
Walmsley and Kate and Moore, one point for Parker Bell,

(01:01:28):
Avery Rowse Spinagal, alex or Adam Woods, Alex Scott and
Aidan Ferris have all played but have not scored. So
poor shooting effort here in the first half, Tigers Valley's
got a lot of work to do as they trail
in this one.

Speaker 5 (01:01:43):
Forty seven to nineteen. Teams are out on the court.

Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
Both teams going with their starters, Tucker County Mitchell Bonner,
Lambert Marks and Will Fong, Tigers Valley, Harris, Avery Rowse,
Spanagal Armstrong, Walmsley and more. Tucker County now works at
the basket, furthest away from us ninety three feet away
and they have the basketball. Mitchell has it, gets it
to Will Fong between the circles, working with it, driving down,

(01:02:12):
they get it back out. Trevin Bonner wants a free.
Trevin Bonner's got a three. My my mind, fifty to nineteen.
Tucker County absolutely dominating here tonight. Avery Rouse Spinagle has
the basketball, bounced pass to Ian Harris.

Speaker 5 (01:02:30):
A little too far into the basket.

Speaker 4 (01:02:31):
He had to chase it down, but he does ken
to Armstrong between the circles. Avery Rouse Spinagle spots up
Furry right wing in and out. No good and the
rebound pulled down by Tucker County. Mountain Lions get it
to Will Fong, puts it up over the front of
the rim. It won't go and the rebound comes down
to Tigers Valley's Caden Moore. Thirty one point lead for

(01:02:57):
Tucker County. Moore has the ball for Tiger's Valley gets
it to Walmsley. Walmsley loses the handle on the dribbles
stolen away by Will Fong, drives in, try the dunk,
it won't go. Bonner puts it back up an end
Garrett will Thong with the steel and we're coming the

(01:03:18):
other way. Fifty two to nineteen. Now they're harassing Ian
Harris out high. It is a tie up possession. Arrow
will leave it with Tiger's Valley. So that swarming defense,
that trapping defense by Tucker County absolutely giving Phipps to

(01:03:40):
Tiger's Valley. They have the basketball bulldogs. Ian Harris drifts
down the lane, looks inside, it's not there. Comes out
to Caden Moore who gets it to Kendall Armstrong. Tucker
County not giving any open shots for Tiger's Valley here
in this game tonight, Avery Rouse Binagle give and go
to Ian Harris and he scores. Nice job by Ian

(01:04:01):
Harris got away from Mikey Mitchell and it's fifty two
to twenty one Tucker County by thirty one. Six minutes
to go. Third quarter, Trevn Bonner has it top of
the key. They work with it to Lambert right wing
three Bonner, It's good, my, my, my. Travan Bonner drains

(01:04:23):
the long distance three. It's fifty five twenty one. Tom
Walmsley does not like what he sees. He's got a
time out. We'll take it with him.

Speaker 5 (01:04:31):
Fifty five to twenty one.

Speaker 4 (01:04:32):

Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
Tom Walmsley does not like what he sees, trying to
get his team under control. Got to figure out a
way to work around that pressure of Tucker County. So
Tiger's Valley trailing fifty five to twenty one. As the
basketball just in front of us, they get it to
Ian Harris. Harris crosses the timeline, drifts over to the left.

(01:05:40):
Now he comes out high to Avery Rowlspinagle, back to
Jacob Walmsley. Walmsley stops and pops from sixteen and he'll score.
Walmsley's been quiet tonight. Now on the other side, here
comes Tucker County. They'll set the offense. Bonner drives down
deep left corner, three up and good for Sam Marx.

(01:06:01):
Fifty eight twenty three Tucker County Tiger's Valley with the basketball,
five ten to go. Avery Rowl Spinagle works with it,
drives down, gets it to Walmsley. Walmsley thought about a three.
He's watched by Garrett Wilfong. It's not there. Now they
work it to Ian Harris. Out between the circles. Harris

(01:06:22):
is being grabbed, harassed by Mikey Mitchell and mill Mitchell
gets him on the arm foul number two on Mikey Mitchell.
First team foul of the third quarter. We're under five
minutes to go.

Speaker 5 (01:06:37):
Check me out.

Speaker 4 (01:06:38):
Yeah, second team foul. That's right, Mikey Mitchell. Tiger's Valley's
got to get it inbounds. They're running out of time.
They finally float at cross court to Ian Harris and
he runs it down, works it into the front court,
goes into the corner, comes out to Walmsley. Walmsley's gonna spot.

Speaker 5 (01:06:54):
Up for three. It's strong off the back of the iron.

Speaker 4 (01:06:57):
It is no good rebound down to Tucker County and
they traveled with it only the seventh turnover of.

Speaker 5 (01:07:05):
The game against the Mountain Lions.

Speaker 4 (01:07:06):
They're playing very well here tonight, considering they've played two
games so far. I mean they start out the season
with three games in four days. Now on the other side,
here comes Ian Harris. He drives all the way in.

Speaker 5 (01:07:21):
Puts it up with the left hand off the glass an.

Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
End fifty eight twenty five. Tucker County with the lead
and the basketball bonner into the front court, strolls across
the mid court stripe picked up on a double team.
They get it to Will Fong. Will Fong drives the baseline,
then he kicks it out back to Bonner. Bonner top
of the key three rattled it in. Trevn Bonner on fire.

(01:07:49):
Here in the second half, it's sixty one twenty five.
Tiger's Valley trails in this one and they have the basketball.
Here's Avery Rowse Monago got up under the basket with
the head fake. AM It's up and good. Sixty one
to twenty seven. Mount Lions have the ball.

Speaker 5 (01:08:08):
Three forty five to go.

Speaker 4 (01:08:09):
Third quarter, Bonner has it, floats over to his left
watch there by Kendall Armstrong looking inside, looking inside, floats
it under Will Fong and the ball is stolen away
by Avery Rowl Spinagle. Tiger's Valley on a runout. Now
they'll slow it up. Set the offense. Caden Moore to Walmsley.
Walmsley has it, hands it off to Ian Harris. Harris

(01:08:32):
Jabstep drives in, stops and pops from fifteen off the
glass and end. Harris has thirteen for Tiger's Valley. It's
sixty one to twenty nine. Now driving all the way
through the lane uncontested Trevin Bonner. They thought he was
gonna kick it out and he lays it in.

Speaker 5 (01:08:53):
Sixty three to twenty nine, three minutes to go. Third quarter.

Speaker 4 (01:08:58):
Ian Harris of all Pokedway has to run it down,
gets it to Caden Moore.

Speaker 5 (01:09:02):
He wants a three, He got a three. The big
man dialing up.

Speaker 4 (01:09:07):
Long distance makes it sixty sixty three thirty two. Tucker
County in the lead with the basketball to forty to go,
turning third quarter clock. Mike and Mitchell has it on
the right corner. Bounce pass almost stolen away. Now they
kick it out Garrett will Fong left wing three too
strong off the back.

Speaker 5 (01:09:25):
Of the iron.

Speaker 4 (01:09:26):
It is no good rebound rundown out high by Tucker County.
They get it to will Fong driving the lane, he
can't get it to go.

Speaker 5 (01:09:33):
Fighting for his own rebound and can't get it. It's
out of allens. What a performance here tonight.

Speaker 4 (01:09:41):
Trevin Bonner four out of six from three point range,
six out of seven from two point range. Sixty three
thirty two, Tucker County in the lead, Tigers Valley with
the basketball. Ian Harris works around the screen, drives in,
puts the floater up. It won't go and he's going
to be pushed and fa by Xander Lambert. That's number

(01:10:03):
one on him. Two free throws coming up for Ian
Harris has not been there tonight.

Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
He's got thirteen points.

Speaker 4 (01:10:12):
Two nine to go here in the third quarter, Harris
ready free throw up back of the iron, are too
strong sixty three thirty two. It's a thirty one point
advantage for Tucker County. It was back and forth for
about the first four minutes, and then it's been an
old Tucker County. Second free throw rimmed in and out,

(01:10:35):
no good. Another rebound down to Garrett will Thark right side.
Mikey Mitchell spots up for a three, comes off the side.

Speaker 5 (01:10:42):
Of the iron.

Speaker 4 (01:10:43):
It is no good and a collision on the rebound
and it will be out of bounds to the Bulldogs.
Ian Harris checks out Parker Bell in. Parker Bell runs
the point for the Bulldogs into the front cord. He goes,
drifts over to his left, works around the screens, spins

back the other way, hands it off to Avery rawl Spinogles.

Speaker 5 (01:11:09):

Speaker 4 (01:11:10):

is no good rebound to Tucker County. Here's Trevin Bonner
with the float. Tried to tip it up to Garrett
will Fong.

Speaker 5 (01:11:47):
Will Fong missed again.

Speaker 4 (01:11:48):
And the rebound controlled by Tiger's valley. And then we've
got a whistle and a foul. Foul is going to
be called on Sam Marks. I've got him for three.

Speaker 5 (01:22:03):
Tucker County has the basketball.

Speaker 4 (01:22:05):
They work it now here is a three in response,
the shot is up by Car. No good rebound to
Mikey Mitchell. They'll get it back out high. Another three
on the way, this time by Cummings. It won't go
and another rebound and then they get it to Mikey
Mitchell and he turns.

Speaker 5 (01:22:21):
It over on a travel.

Speaker 4 (01:22:26):
Seventy to forty. It's a thirty point advantage for Chucker County.
Tigers Valley with the basketball. Andrew Simmons into the ballgame
for Tucker County. Ian Harris for Tigers Valley with the
basketball into the front court for forty to go in

(01:22:48):
the game. It's seventy to forty. Now Here is a
three up and no good for in Harris and the
rebound comes down to Tucker County into the front. They
work it over to Cayden Arnold. He's gone the right
wing just in front of his bench. Watch there by
Adam Woods. Ball poked away from behind. Ian Harris runs

(01:23:09):
it down. It is a turnover against Tucker County. Now
Here comes Ian Harris spin move in the lane. He's
cut off there, tries to bounce past to Walmsley. Walmsley
gets it, floats it up from twelve and it'll score
seventy to forty two, twenty eight point lead for Tucker County.

(01:23:30):
Ferris getting ready to check in four Tigers Valley working
with the basketball as Simmons for Tucker County. He gets
it to Cummings, ball is intercepted, stolen away. Here comes
Jacob Walmsley, dry.

Speaker 5 (01:23:44):
Shoot, scored. Lomsley gets the steel.

Speaker 4 (01:23:49):
And the basket. It's seventy to forty four. On the
other side, working with it, his car Car hands it
to Cayden Arnold. Arnold has it on the wing, drives
the baseline trying to find Simmons the ball out of bounds.
It'll be Tiger's Valley basketball and you've got a lot

(01:24:10):
of the younger guys in there for Daniel Helmik squad.
They turn it over for the fourteenth time in the game.
Seventeen unofficial turnovers for Tiger's Valley and that probably is
a low estimate. Now on the other side, they work
it to Aiden Farris. Aiden Farris has his shot blocked,
but it goes into the hands of Jacob Walmsley and

(01:24:32):
he scores. Seventy to forty six. Is the Tucker County lead.
Three minutes to go in the game. Working with it
is Simmons. Simmons pushes it on the left side. Here
is a three up for Car, no good rebound to
k Narnald, back up and end. K Narnald gets his

(01:24:56):
third point of the game. It's seventy two forty six.
Now here's a raul spinago elbow on the right. It
will not go for him. Rebound to Tucker County Mountain
Lions into the front court. It's Cummings. Cummings works with it,
hands it to Cayden Arnold. Arnold almost has it swatted away.
They get it to Dearborn. Dearborn on the right side,

(01:25:17):
back to Arnold top of the key, left side.

Speaker 5 (01:25:21):
Long three on the way. It is up and good.

Speaker 4 (01:25:26):
Four Cummings short time out just to get a sub in.
That is Carter Wilt for Tucker County. Two fifteen to
go in the ball game. Seventy five forty six. Here's
Alex Scott for Tigers. Valley fires up a three off
the right wing.

Speaker 5 (01:25:46):
It won't go.

Speaker 4 (01:25:46):
Rebound fought four scrap four controlled by Tucker County car
into the front cord working against Walmsley left side. They
get it to Cummings, back to Dearborn underneath the Simmons
Simmons gets positioned, shot up, shot good and he's fouled.
Simmons will go to the line. Foul goes on Aiden Ferris.

(01:26:08):
That's number two on him. Austin Gear into the ballgame
for Tiger's Valley, Jacob Walmsley out, so pretty much the
second team for most free throws up and no good.
Rebound comes down to Tucker County twice and it gets

(01:26:31):
knocked out of bounds. It'll stay with the Mountain Lions
in bounds. Play comes in, they get it to Cummings.
Cummings works with it deep right corner, three up and
no good for Cole Carr.

Speaker 5 (01:26:44):
Rebound to Tiger's Valley. Lead pass out ahead.

Speaker 4 (01:26:47):
To Adam Woods and he missed the layup, tried to
finger roll it over the front of the rim.

Speaker 5 (01:26:52):
It would not go.

Speaker 4 (01:26:53):
Rebound to Tucker County. They lead seventy seven to forty
six with a minute and a half to go. Now
Dearborn working with it, dishes it off, thows it away.
So it has definitely not been the night that you
want if you're Tiger's Valley. But you got some things
to work on.

Speaker 5 (01:27:15):
Now.

Speaker 4 (01:27:16):
On the other side, here is Adam Woods. He can't
get it to go, but he will draw the foul.
With a minute fourteen seconds to go, foul is going
to be called on coal car number one on him.
Woods will step to the line. Has not been to

(01:27:36):
the free throw line yet this season. Free throw up
good got another one coming with a minute fourteen to go.
Second one up front of the iron, no good rebound
to Tucker County. Thirty point lead for Tucker County. With

(01:27:59):
a minute to go, seventy seven forty seven Commings now
for Tucker County fires up another three. It will not go.
He is two out of four from behind the arc
and with exactly one minute to go, Tucker County has
a thirty point lead, seventy seven to forty seven. Here's

(01:28:22):
Avery Rowsepinagle dishes it off to Austin Gear.

Speaker 5 (01:28:26):
Gear is gonna pop it up from about ten feet away.

Speaker 4 (01:28:29):
It will not go rebound, smacked out of bounds, and
it will be Tucker County basketball. So as we said,
Tucker County will go to three and oh on the season.
Tom Walmsley's Tiger slightly Bulldogs will drop to three and one.
Top of the key is Simmons working with the basketball
looking nothing inside, gets it to Cummings on the left wing.

(01:28:51):
Top of the key, they go to Dearborn. Dearborn dishes
it off to Cole Carr, who hands it back to Cummings.
Cummings is gonna drive the baselines, stop and pop from
about fifteen. It will not go rebound out of bounds.
It stays with Tucker County.

Speaker 5 (01:29:10):
No check me. It's Tiger's Valley Basketball. My apologies.

Speaker 4 (01:29:15):
So Bulldogs with the basketball, Alex Scott into the front court.
He's just gonna pull the trigger on a three rims
in and out. It is no good and the rebound
comes down to Tucker County.

Speaker 5 (01:29:30):
They will dribble it out and that is the ball game.

Speaker 4 (01:29:34):
It was close for about four minutes and then Tucker
County absolutely dominated and they win here tonight by a
final score of seventy seven to forty seven.

Speaker 5 (01:29:46):
We will step away.

Speaker 4 (01:29:47):
When we come back, we'll have the postgame show with

four point seven.

Speaker 4 (01:33:12):
Welk, we are back here in Hambleton where the Tucker
County Mountain Lions dominated tonight. As they went in here
tonight over Tigers Valley seventy seven to forty four. Let's
take a look at team and individual statistics. First of all,
for the home team, Tucker County shot the lights out

(01:33:33):
from the floor forty eight percent thirty of sixty two,
including nine out of twenty from three point range, eight
out of thirteen at the free throw line, that is
sixty two percent. They out rebounded Tigerts Valley unofficially thirty
eight to eighteen, twenty more rebounds for this Tucker County

(01:33:54):
team here tonight. They turned it over fifteen times, stole
at eight, and had six blocks. Tucker County led in
scoring by Trevan Bonner twenty five points on the night,
thirteen of those coming in the second half. Nineteen points
for Garrett Wilfong, eleven for Sam Marx, Mikey Mitchell, and
Ethan Cummings with six points a piece, four points for

(01:34:16):
Cole Carr, three for Kaden Arnold. Andrew Simmons had two,
Carson Dearborn had one, Alexander Lambert and Carter Wilt both
played but did not score for the Tigers. Valley Bulldog's
day did not shoot very well. Nineteen out of fifty four,
my friends, that's thirty five percent from the floor, four

(01:34:42):
out of fifteen from three point range, five out of fourteen.
Very uncharacteristic for Tom Walmsley's team here this year, thirty
six percent from the free throw line. On the season,
they shoot seventy one so right at half of their
season average. Only eighteen rebounds. As we mentioned, turned the

(01:35:04):
ball over eighteen times. Much better in the second half.
They stole them all four times and they had one block.
Bulldogs led in scoring by Ian Harris. He had thirteen
twelve points for Jacob Walmsley, ten points for Caden Moore,
Kenda Armstrong with seven, Avery Rows, Pinagle and Parker Bell
with two points each. Adam Woods had one point. Alex Scott,

(01:35:25):
Aiden Ferris and Austin Gear all played but did not score.
So up next for Tucker County Monday night. They've got
a game here in Hamilton against Gilmour County. The Tigers
Valley Bulldogs have a little bit of a break. They'll
