So we're gonna talk today about choicesthat people make. And you know,

Honey and I were in a discussionand he was sharing his part of
his story, which is most ofhistorians for him to share. But we
have this thing that we always discussedconstantly, and it's about cannabis and the
use of and he and I metand we've been knowing each other for ten
years now. It's been ten years. Made the church say halleluja. See

if we had a song for that, you wouldn't have to listen to me
because I could display a song forthat. But hallelujah that I'm still here
ten years later. Right, butwe met ten years ago, and hallelujah
to him, Hallelujah that he survivedd Right. So, and you know,
cannabis has just been a part ofour story, and he is a

lover of and I have you know, heard the arguments, and I've tried
to lean on. There was onepoint when we were when we were in
Colorado and he just you know,that's a legal state. And at that
point it was like, Okay,he doesn't want to use, you know,
the medication said he has to take, you know, to control his

you know, mood. He hasPTSD one hundred percent. You know,
they're only meeting him at seventy percent. So I was like, okay.
And this was before he was gettingthe percentage. I'm like, okay,
well, maybe this is something hehas a great argument, this is something
that works, you know. Butat the same time, there's a such

thing as chronic use. Like this, you can get too far gone with
anything. You can get too fargone with anything. And then it becomes
you're you have an addiction to it. No other lighter, softer word to
say, So don't be sensitive,and please know that I'm not judging you
in any way, but you beginto get an addiction to it to where

you have to have it, andthe way that you are around people when
you don't can be so extremely toxic. And sometimes sometimes the decisions that you
make so that you can remain inthe environments of people who always have access
to that, that can become toxicas well. So I begin to see
that, and that's why I'm like, no, you need to go and

you need to see someone medically.And that's what he's done, and he's
on his mental health journey to findingout how to treat his mental health disorders
before thinking about having a lifestyle ofusing cannabis, because it's so important that
people do that. You know,sometimes you'll hear about something and you're like,

well, that does you know thatworks for me? Indeed, that
gets my mood right, I understandthat. But it is something that when
y'all make the decision to smoke it, you're taking away anything that God ever
created for it to be, causeit does come from God's earth, just
as a lot of other things thatwe use in love and utilize on a

daily basis comes from God's Earth.Right, But people could take something that
comes from God and use and abuseit. Right, People take a perfectly
good woman and will use and abuseher, And I promise you she came
from God. People will take agood guy and use and abuse him,
and I promise you he came fromGod as well. So you came from

God. Thing you see, yousee? Okay, So you have to
find a way to do whatever itis that you're doing in a natural You
should you should? You should letme not I say have to because you
guys get offended and feel like I'mbeing your mama. So you should find

a way to do it in aholistic way that it can benefit you and
not impact your health in another way. Right, As we unfold some parts
of it, addiction can happen.And when you're smoking it, now you're

smoking. So any kind of inhaleinhaling. God didn't create you and drop
you off into the atmosphere for youto inhale anything, right, So any
type of inhale that happens, whetheryou're inhaling bleach because you clean the bathroom
and too much of it got intoyour lungs. Anything that you inhale,

that's not gonna be a good thing. Exposing yourself to too much of it,
that's not gonna be a good thingfor your lungs. I am not
a lung expert. Please seek medicalattention and seek those who are in that
profession to get more information. ButI have had to sit and see people
have a lot of medical issues happento their bodies, to their lungs,

to their kidneys, to differ,to heart. A lot of things happen
to their bodies over inhaling cigarettes,inhaling the smoke from cigarettes, inhaling the
smoke from weed, rolling up thechemical you know, some people say,
well, I'm using raw. Ieven it's a dude we know that rolls
up let his weed and lettuce,but he's still smoking it. And I

promise you that let his head isgoing. I never intended for you to
smoke me. So smoking is thepart that I that I want you to
guys to try to find. Ifyou're saying, I treat it for my
mood and for this thing that Ihave going on in my personal whatever I
have going on in my mental healthfor my disorder, and if you say

that that's what you're treating it for, find a holistic method of doing so,
get back at me and tell mehow that goes. I promise me.
I promise you that you will comeback to think me and say,
you know what. I feel better. I have more energy. I'm able
to move around and I'm not outof breath. I'm going to long hikes
and i have a lot of energyand I'm not out of breath when doing

so. I'm walking longer distances.I'm running longer distances. I'm able to
have more energy when I'm moving aroundthe house with the family, when I'm
at work. Tell me the difference. Just taking the smoke part away,
period, Right, But then let'sjust talk about one of the key parts
that I wanted to speak about today. There is genetic predisposition and then there

is genetic determinism. And we're notgoing to go into some deep thing with
it, because you can do yourown research, right, but you have
to be careful about what can comewith getting an addiction to something and being
(09:52):
too stubborn to go about trying todo what you need to do, to
do something in a healthier way becauseyou are now caught up in an addiction
and you don't know how to comeout of it because you're fighting something that's
bigger than you and I. Right, so when you are genetically predisposed to

drinking alcohol, genetically predisposed to smokingweed, and then you say, okay,
well just give us a little insightbefore we go to our research.
Do you how could that happen ifyour parents were we smokers, especially if
they were smoking weed while they werewhile you know, around you, while
mom was pregnant, or while momwas pregnant with you, she was smoking.
Also, you were genetically predisposed forsure to marijuana, right, if

an addiction even more serious than that, And then this is when I just
need you to go to the expertsand just determine what's for you and your
story and all that, because Idon't want you to try to get your
whole mental health healing through this episodso because that is entirely impossible to do.
But there are some things that ifyou're genetically predisposed to things, either

the environment or maybe that was somethingthat you've seen, Like I said,
you know it was Mom was smokingwhen she was pregnant with you. You
were born, and Mom's smoking,and then everybody around was smoking, and
you're just genetically predisposed to this typeof behavior and environment. You can pull
yourself away from that. A mindcan be changed, you know that miracle
(11:31):
that can happen. A mind canbe changed, and you could decide to
distance yourself from that and do somethingdifferently and find a new experience, become
more knowledgeable about marijuana and cannabis andhow to use it responsibly. You don't
drive with marijuana. You don't getbehind the wheel of a car with marijuana.
Whether it's just marijuana that you've had, or if you've added on taking

your medication, or whether you've addedon alcohol. That is a death sentence,
either yours or someone else if youhit them. That's something you do
not do. That is a that'snot something that you need to test the
waters with. You do do it, people do do it, But should
(12:15):
you? Though? So finding outhow to be responsible with something, as
you know, legalized donation, Istand behind legalize donation. Decriminalize the drug.
Yes, I stand behind decriminalizing weed, but let's be responsible in the
(12:35):
process of all these things that aregoing on and health responsibility smoking it especially
whoever created I I don't know theterm for those things, but the cigarellos
or whatever, and you're rolling itup, you are putting more chemicals in
your body, and inhaling smoke,your lungs are crying, your heart's crying,

your kidneys are about to cry,and your livering been crying way before
that. All of that can killyou sooner than you your demise was planned
anyway, right like it. It'stwo dangers of a game to play.
But because you've been genetically predisposed toan environment that always had that around,
you have accepted it as the norm. But if you get out there and

get some education and find out howto douce the use of that in a
holistic way, get a holistic doctorif you don't know one, find a
naturalist to find a holistic doctor,find people that specialize in this, and
get more information, and you mayfind that you have a healthier experience,
(13:41):
and maybe you can reverse things ifyou've damaged your liver. But it's not
that far gone. You can reversea damaged liver if you've made it to
stage one, two, even possiblythree, kidney disease. Because of it,
you can actually reverse that and getto it. May not take you
back to stage one, but youcould get to a maintain it and stay
that way for the rest of yourlife and not get into the danger of

stage four and stage five kidney disease. And again look that up if you
need more information on it. Heartdisease, maybe there's some way that you
can try to reverse what's happening.And with your lungs, you can bring
those back to new they're reversible aswell if it's not too much damage.
So there's hope. But you bettergo get your body looked at one hundred
(14:24):
and fifty five percent. If you'resitting around smoking marijuana and inhaling it and
thinking that you're fine, I challengeyou to go test your blood. I
challenge you to go duke full scansof your entire just your entire body.
I want you to check your kidneys, check your liver, check your lungs,
(14:46):
check your check your heart, andtell me is everything ad a okay?
Okay? And if you've done allthat, you're on top of your
health and they say you're good togo, do you right? But if
you see a red flag. Consider, consider changing it. Consider the fact
that you may have been genetically predisposedto this type of behavior, type of

lifestyle, and that there's a wayto come around it. And again,
you know, there's a l thingscan go a little deeper when it comes
to genetically d d D you know, uh D determinism like that this is
just in you know, the thebaby was a crack baby, you know,
(15:28):
so to speak, or the babywas you know, heavily under the
influence of marijuana when they were born. Like then those things are deeper,
maybe chemically embedded into your genes,and gonna need a whole lot more professional
expertise look into it than I couldever give you on introducing you to the
subject. And then let's switch toa little darker this fentanyl crisis. I

don't know, oh what it lookslike other than what we see across the
news, but I know and haveheard enough stories and have seen enough images
of people crying, of memorials,of funerals, of death's death from sudden
death and accidents and overdoses and childrenbeing accidentally exposed to it, and it's
(16:22):
just it's bad. It's unlike anythingthat we've ever seen in the history of
this drug addiction lifestyle. And I'mhere to just say something that happened to
me to make sure that I wouldnot ever try drugs. And if I
shared this story with you, Ihope that this will stop anyone, especially
(16:45):
if you're working with a teenager andyou're scared because of their environment that they're
being exposed to, and you're scaredthat they're about to make some bad decisions
and may get caught up with this. Hopefully you can share this story of
mine and littal help. My fathersaid to me, my father who he
had when he was when my fatherwas in his younger years and he was
(17:10):
in a band, my father wouldget caught up in that lifestyle, right,
So he would get caught up inthis lifestyle of using and got caught
up in all kinds of things.And I was young enough to not even
be told much. But now asI get older, I understood that he
got exposed probably the weed and cocaineand everything that was out there on the
(17:33):
market for people that were in bandsand recording and doing live shows all the
time. Right. But then hehad a bad trip out and basically I
understand that he'd you know, tripout, And that's all I was told
when I was younger, and asI'm older, I'm understanding that he overdose
and it flipped him out and heended up having to go to a crazy
(17:53):
Oh that's not the word for it. He had to go to a mental
health hospital because of it, andhe had an episode where he had to
come back to himself and he wentstraight. I came out of that and
went straight into the gospel, walkedso straight at everybody. How should dad
like this? And you know whathappened? But I knew my dad's story,
(18:15):
and I knew why he was sofocused on his spiritual journey because he
didn't ever want to go back towhatever happened in that moment where it landed
him in the mental health institution becausethe drug was so powerful it took over
his brain. So he would sharethat story. And then he told me
(18:36):
this one thing. He said,I'm gonna tell you something about drugs bad.
You and a bunch of people couldbe in a room and it could
be ten people. Nine of themcould try the drug and party all night
and have a good time. Youcould try it and you could die.
(18:57):
Why because not everybody's body is thesame. You heard the story about the
girl who was going back and forthto nothing to say against Panera or they
disclaimer they have fixed the situation tothe best of their knowledge and trying to
make sure that this doesn't happen again. But she was going back and forth
to Panera drinking this energy drink,and then she ended up collapsing and dying.
(19:22):
You could see people do a wholebunch of stuff, whether it's taking
multiple scoops of pre workout. Haveyou heard about those people using too much
pre workout and dying? Not everybodycan do the same thing. Just because
you saw it on TikTok doesn't meanthat it's gonna work for you. You
could do it one time, hesaid, and you could die. And
(19:45):
he would tell me that over andover. So I was terrified to try
drugs. That's all I needed.I'm not even a teenager yet, and
that story was told to me fromyoung young years all the way up until
my teen years. I took itinto my adult years, and that was
all I needed. I did nottry drugs. I am fifty years old
and I never tried drugs. Ididn't feel that that was something that I
(20:07):
needed to do, and I hada scare one time. You know that,
well, I should probably say acouple of times. One time I
tried to drink in a drive andI was thinking, I think I was
like twenty, I wasn't even youknow, supposed to be drinking, and
the nightclub had served us all thesedrinks that we were drinking, and I
almost had a really bad car accidentwhere I almost took six of us in
(20:30):
the car into a ditch trying toget back home from the destination. That
car accident woke me up and drinkingand driving is not something that I participate
in. I'm fifty things that Ilearned early, right. And then there
was another incident. A girl thatlikes to party, party, party.
I'm like, sure, girl,I'll go out with you. I just
(20:51):
got off work and I usually liketo go to the club, but she
was hanging out at a person's house. I get there fine, and then
one of the guys there he's like, oh, I know your brother.
So we're there and I just realizedit's just me and her. And then
we're there and it's a crowd upthere smoking. She's like, don't pass
it to d because she know youknow, she's always gonna say no,
don't pass it to d is shealways gonna say no. Finally, I'm
(21:12):
like, okay, I'm the cornyone here. So I decided I don't
want to be the corny one anymore. So I decided to take ahead of
the weed, like, oh,sure, I'll hit the weed. Let's
see. And guess what. Inever ever in my lifetime smoked weed around
(21:33):
anyone. In my twenties, decidedI would never do that around people that
I didn't know again, because itwas one moment, We're all sitting there
and we're all, you know,talking and laughing, and then the next
moment, I wake up in aroom and I'm by myself, and I'm
trying the door and I can't getout, and I'm locked in and I
can't get out. I had passedout. I look at the time and
(21:56):
it is the next day, inthe afternoon. I have missed my going
to work. Whatever was on there. People asked me all kinds of questions
about this after it happened. Iwas, you know, grilled from one
end to the other about what happened. All I remember is that there was
something shiny on the blunt whoever livesthat lifestyle, y'all can understand whatever it
(22:19):
is. I've been told a hostof things or what may have happened.
But I was gone and out.The guy tells me, Man, as
soon as you passed out, Iput you in the room and locked you
in there with the chair on thedoor, because I didn't want your brother
to you know, because he knewthat would have been his last day.
Right, So he was like,I didn't want your brother to come for
(22:40):
me, you know. So hetook care of me, and I was
just blessed in that environment. Butthat doesn't happen for everyone. And there's
some girls out here that that happenedto and they're snatched in traffic and gone
in a matter of seconds. Sositting around just trying something just because you
want to fit in, yeah,don't do that because that could have been
(23:02):
way worse and I wouldn't be heretoday to tell you the story. Right.
It's dangerous. They have enough thingsout there to give you information for
you to do your research. Onepil kills and all this other stuff,
and all that is accurate. It'snot worth your life. You don't know
(23:23):
who has put what in mixed whatand done what to anything that you're about
to put in your body. Don'ttry something to be cool. Of course,
it's a message for the younger people, but for the older people too
if you haven't yet to learn it. Right, So, going forward in
life, the only time that Itrust anything, especially when it comes to
(23:48):
cannabis, I only trust in adispensary. And I prefer anxiety gummies that
are like Delta eight and things likethat Delta eight, Delta ten that's created
for you know, handling moods.And I like a gummy or a drink
or something, you know, infuseit with oil in my food. Yeah,
I have like a whole different way. And even that, the last

time I've had anything like that hasbeen over a year. Like that's just
how I am. That's just howI am. Like I'm just very guarded
about the decisions that I make aboutwhat's gonna happen to me. Because why
the part that I told you allabout earlier, I'm genetically predisposed to lifestyles

that that could cause me to bein a mental institution. Do I want
that? I don't know what couldhappen if I caught some kind of addiction
and I just hope that you canthink about that before you're making your decisions.
Right, I'm learning about if you'rewatching my socials, and I'm learning
(24:56):
about food and stress and eating andwhen to eat. I just found out
this whole process of the human designand my human design. I can't be
under stress and make a decision aboutfood. You know. I manage my
anxiety now and I use busborone.And that took me a long time.
(25:18):
You know, it took my doctora long time to find something that I
would agree to because I'm just I'man all natural type person. I like
my supplements and my vitamins, andhow can I go about treating whatever it
is that I need to treat,whether it's some mood or pain, how
can I treat it in a naturalway. But so even with that,
(25:40):
like learning that I don't even haveto take my anxiety miss if I just
learned how to do the things thattake care of me, like exercising and
eating right and making sure that youknow, when I'm eating my food that
my environment is quiet and it's notstressful, and if I am in allow
environment, that I stay tuned intowhat I'm doing and watching every calorie that
(26:06):
goes in because food addiction can bejust as bad. Because I am genetically
predisposed to a person who she hadstress eating as her thing. So because
of that, I have to becareful. Right, my grandmother wasn't a
stress eater, but my mother wasa stress eater. So that you,
(26:32):
once you become aware, you canreverse these things. You don't have to
become these things. You don't haveto become a person with heart disease,
you don't have to have kidney disease, you don't have to be overweight.
There's no such thing as we're bigboned in my family. That is a
myth. You have to figure outthese things and do your research and see
how you can get to a healthieryou if you want longevity, and even
(26:59):
if God does and promised to youlongevity because a car accident or a plane
accident or train accident, we're allat the mercy of our demise. But
you could live well in the momentthat you're in right now and live better
in tomorrow's moment if it's promised toyou by just making better choices. So
