weeks that I've been around you. You've been doing a lot of things.
Yeah. Yeah, we're working.I'm telling you, it's like a grind.
Like you're not going for the grind, then you ain't doing nothing.

(00:42):
Can't waste your time. Valuable absolutely, Thomas, definitely money. Um yeah,
no, I want to get Iwant to get right into it with
you. Um, like when you'removing around, Like, how do you
how do you decipher when the energyis real and fake? Mmm? That's
a good question. I'm gonna behonest. I've always been a type of

(01:04):
person that I stick to myself. If I have a gut feeling about you,
I'm not gonna give you my energy. My energy is very valuable to
me. So the way I coulddecipher that, Like it's like I go
about how I feel about you,Like the first instinct. I'll say,
Like, there's always that first instanctyou get from somebody. You feel that

(01:25):
energy is weird, there's off.I try to like keep my distance.
Okay, let's get let's get intothe next question. Um, so I
saw you. I saw you ong was Um you was flicking it up
with fat Joe the other day, mister mister don't call the gene himself.
Yeah, honestly, I was likeall my managers work. Okay. He

(01:48):
took me to a meeting and itwas like Fat Joe just came up like
he I had no idea how hewas going, and he was gonna be
there. I got free tims too, like he can go hard to Like
I got a free hot So hewas hugging it out. To be honest,
I had nothing planned. It wasjust in the moment. Okay.
Shouts out to your manager. Shoutsout to your manager for a Yeah,

(02:10):
MO what up? Yeah? Yeahyeah yeah Mo Winter Building, y'all,
Mo, Winter Building. You knowwhat I'm saying. That's mister Wild Live
Magic, it's my co host yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Um, so what's next for you, miss Nelly Bills? What's next

(02:30):
for me? Honestly, I wantto take my YouTube way serious. I
want to start doing more creative thingsbecause you know, I do a lot
of goofy content, but I wantto start more like moving it to more
like realistic life stuff. I wantto start going to places and like how
do you say, like rating,Like let's say I go to a restaurant

(02:51):
and rating the restaurant. I wantto start doing things like that, like
kind of like sponsoring like little littleplaces, energy mom and pop businesses.
Yeah, okay, yeah, Ilike that. I like that. That's
that's some of the things that umthat we've been getting into and venturing off
into out here on the island. So you know, you will be able

(03:13):
to partake in a lot of thosethings, um, you know, like
um as far as advertising and stufflike that. Where can people find you?
Definitely go follow me on Instagram. My Instagram is Nellie Bill's Underscore.
As soon as you follow me onInstagram, you're gonna be connected to my
YouTube channel, which is Nellie's World. And I have my tech Talk the

(03:34):
Real Nellie See and I don't reallyhave Facebook yet, but I'm glad with
Instagram, YouTube and TikTok um asa as a as a younger, as
a younger woman. Um, doyou feel that Facebook is outdated? I
think it is. But honestly, you could you cut sell used Facebook because
Facebook is now like elevating. Iheard you could shopping there. I heard

(03:58):
you could sell stuff. You canliterally get paid from Facebook. I had
no idea. I stopped using Facebookaround like twenty seventeen, around twenty seventeen,
twenty eighteen. It's a good marketingtoo low. Yeah, it is
definitely. Yeah. I haven't touchedbut okay, okay, Hey, hey,
Bobby, you mind if we goto a commercial body? Thank you?

(05:00):
Mmmmm. I gotta let her know. Daddy. Ain't you know where

(05:31):
I want you? I gotta moneymoney. Why do you tell me why
you you don't trying to keep it? I said he shouldna, but he's
ruged up. Chry see, youbetter get your fun better part. She

(05:55):
shouldn't tell everybody with again, hedoesn't care because you know the industry about
the why check? Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're back. What we're

(06:15):
talking about? My boy mo inthe building. You already know what it's
going down. Nellie builds in thebuilding kick life goals, Sir. Yeah,
yeah, so mo was good man? What you got in store?
Force man? Well, you know, we got a couple of questions,
you know, a couple of topicswe want to tap into. You know,
I really want to ask New Yorka couple of questions, you know,

(06:36):
being that I am from New York. Um, I definitely want to
ask New York City a couple ofquestions. But um, right now,
I'm gonna let you continue what youwas doing with Nellie. I want to
just interject. You know what I'msaying, So continue with your questions.
My brother. Okay, okay, okay, um too, it's very nice.

(06:59):
My god, I had his firetelling you my manager hugged me out.
Yeah. You know, since sincewe are we're talking about your manager,
how did you win your manager met? And? Um, you know,
can we can we get your managersinfo just in case some you know,
somebody else out there and our audiencewant to, you know, get
in contact with him. As soonas y'all go follow me on my Instagram.

(07:23):
Yeah, I definitely could get throughthat. Yeah, could get through
my manager. But how I metmy manager. Honestly, I was my
mom. She works at a bar. My aunt owns the bar. So
honestly, he was a security guardin my my mom's um bar that she
works at. So you know, sometimes I do go visit my mom,
I go check how she's doing,I work. I chow with her for

(07:45):
a little bit and I met thislike he was like he's huge, He's
very tall, and I was likelike, just like he's mad tals.
I was like, damn. Sohe came up to me, he was
like, yo, you're perfect, and I'm like thank you, like it's
a compliment. And then like throughthat we started talking more. I started
telling him more about like what Ido on my Instagram. And after that,

(08:09):
like we like I gave him,We interacted with phone numbers and stuff
and we started talking about He startedto tell of me who he was outside
of only security and yeah, that'sliterally how I met him. Yeah that's
fire. Got a network, Yeahabsolutely so. So Muhammad, I'm saying,
let's talk about you know, networking, your net worth? Well,

(08:33):
I mean that's that's two questions.You know, you know how I am.
Nah, I'm it's not, it'sit's just a dialogue. It's just
a dialogue. I'm trying to I'mtrying to get you to talk. You
know what I'm saying. You late, you know what I'm saying. More
man like, I'm I'm trying tobe nice right now, like trying to

(08:54):
be cool going on? You feelme? What we're talking about? What
we're talking about. You know whatI'm saying. I'm you don't want me
to call for the commercial break? Now? Now? We know what I'm
really upset because you know, youknow it's this is a topic right here,
This is this is a serious issuethat I think a lot of choking
to the mic, right. Um. I think that a lot of people,

(09:16):
you know, they take time forgranted, right. So what they'll
do is they'll say, all right, it takes me fifty five minutes to
get somewhere, right, and they'llleave literally fifty seven minutes before it's time
to get to that, you know, to their destination. So you're trying
to say, as a kind ofperson you are, No, that's not

(09:37):
what I said. That's not right. If the shoe fits weird, you
know what I'm saying. But Imean what you know, that ain't my
problem. What I'm saying is right. You know you experienced that. And
the question I really have is,um, you know, why do people

(09:58):
do? You know? I reallywant to understand. Why was this person
you talking about talking about you beinglate? You just like you diverted that
whole. I'm going to need youto answer the question before you are responding
with a question. Okay, Okay, I thought I was the one that
answered. I thought I was onethat asked the question. Now I don't

(10:22):
remember that part. What I'm sayingthat we started off this thing with that
worth, that worth, and youwent all the way to be late.
You know what I'm saying. Ijust wanted to respond to your question because
your question was, um, youknow what I've been up to. It
was on my mind, you knowwhat I wanted to talk about. You
know what was something I was youknow that was bothering me. So you
know that just bothered me because theweather was so unpredictable, I could not

(10:46):
prestrict that I was going to umyou know exhibit three. Uh you know,
um accidents you know in my enroute to my just so basically right
now, you just you just givingus excuse showing while you was late matter.
I'm I'm Indian, bro. Likesee then they say that too,

(11:13):
right, Bro? Anyway, youknow that's the first We gotta stop doing
that. You know what I'm saying. We just got to answer the question,
you know what I'm saying, andyou don't give a good answer,
and then, you know what I'msaying, when you get another question or
you want to give a question, then that person should be under the pressure
to answer the question because they youknow, um, you know, they

(11:37):
played by the rules first. Sowhat's your question? Like, what are
we talking? Yeah, no,I want to know. I want him
to answer the question. He didn'teat dodging the question. I don't know.
I'm lost right now answering question.I have no idea what is he
talking about? We need anybody wantto call and to answer the question.
We definitely need. We don't evenhave a high line, bro, knock

(12:01):
it off. All right, we'rebuilding one. Really back in, really,
back in, sir, really, back in? What's that questions?
What's that question? All right?Go ahead, mo take the league.
Let's get to this first, right, gotta look on his phonus. Hey,
people, this is this is whatno preparation looks like, right,
right right this live TV. Jeez, there's a couple of questions. Hey,

(12:30):
Bobby, take me to another commercial. We see he's he nervous right
now, so you're hitting up,I'm hitting the nervous But we're not gonna
hit the nervous button right now. We're just gonna sit here and we're gonna
go what we're talking about. Sobasically, how we come up with the
topic, right? How we howdo we come up with the topic what
we're talking about? Right? Somy good friend over here, cake like

(12:52):
goug, he got a good recordwhat I'm saying. This is called what
we're talking about. So that's how, uh, the name of this topic
of this podcast came about. Um, you know, because he's always talking.
This is one of his sayings. You know, he don't want to
talk to nobody chatting. They're talkingabout money. But this guy over here,

(13:15):
oh my god, if you geton the phone with him, you
will be talking. I definitely willtell you that. You know what I
stand what I'm saying. I mean, you're gonna talk about some business you
might do, you know, thirtychatting, so um, you know,
just like you know, let's justletting my crowd out there know that.
Hey, Moe, I got aquestion for you. I'm saying, Yo,

(13:37):
and this thing that we're doing, you know what I'm saying, all
of this this music and it's runningaround, I'm saying, what is your
role? Well, my role inUM, in the entertainment business. Uh.
You know, when I'm not doingpodcasts and uh contracting with his construction
work, I am helping artists uhwith UM you know production, I'm uh,

(14:05):
I'm helping them with scheduling their umyou know, the studio time.
You know. I mean I usuallyend up becoming their personal manager. M
besides just there uh business manager.UM. I mean, but I would
like to say this in this business, you know, if management, you

(14:26):
have to make sure that you builda relationship with the person as you're trying
to manage. First and foremost, you have to build a relationship with the
person. And UM, you definitelywant to focus on you know, all
your streams and you you want tomake sure that UM, you know,
you have a positive energy with eachother. It can be UM, you

(14:48):
know, a negative energy. Youknow you don't want negative energy, UM
when you're trying to build uh anything, So UM, you know, just
you know, the entertainment business isdefinitely. Um. I mean we hear
so much about the music business, which is entertainment at the same time.
UM, I mean there's so manydifferent avenues to go down. I mean

(15:13):
you wanted to give me a morespecific question. Well, I'm saying if
you if you was given, ifyou was given advice to Nellie Bills on
how to navigate her career, onwhat you've seen thus far, how would
you how would you, um,how would you handle that situation? UM?

(15:37):
I would say, look, listen, do a lot of listening.
Pay attention, UM, you know, really pay attention and just listen more
than anything, pay attention, listen. That's that's the some of the best
advice I can tell you. Um, you have a good manager with you,
You have somebody that definitely care isabout you. UM. That's a

(16:02):
that's that's very important in the business. You have to have somebody that cares
about you and wants to see youdo good. Um. They can't have
any arterior motives. UM. Uh, I mean these are the things that
you know. I would you know, advice, I would give you you
know what I'm saying, But youhave that I would say, you definitely

(16:22):
have that. So, um,when you go and you start maneuvering with
other uh how can I say otherpeople? You know in your line of
work, when you start to maneuver, you just want to make sure that
you have a positive energy and youwant to be able to, um,
you know, show your talents, but also show that you're start too and

(16:45):
um, you exude that already now. I mean you know what I'm saying,
like, that's that's coming up,you know, and that's your energy.
Um. You know I would Iwould say you could do um would
be too uh, you know,I would say some research, you know,
more research on becoming like, uha host, becoming a well yeah,

(17:11):
more more of a host, moreof a yeah, just a host.
Really, just do the research onit. If you want to do
anything with journalism, then you don'tdo the research on it. Anything you
want to do, just do theresearch so that you can really you know,
you know, got your eyes acrossyour t so you don't want to
you know, you don't want toleave anything out. It's you know,
everything about anything about business is allabout preparation. So you know, if

(17:36):
you prepare something like if you knowit's the same thing, like you know,
I came and I wasn't able toset up and get prepared. So
now you're hitting me like, oh, where's your questions blah blah blah,
And I'm like, oh shit,I got you know, I kind of
gotta go into my um you know, and you know, because I had
everything prepared in my mind. Butthen, you know, when you get

(17:59):
in front of the situation and thenit's like, oh my god, what
am I gonna do? But youhave to be able to you know,
you have to be able to umadjust, And that's what makes you a
start, That's what makes you, that's what makes you, uh, you
know, next level. Yeah, but I got a question for you,
like what maybe I want to doa podcast and specific um well, I
could say on my part, UMM, I would say this, um uh

(18:29):
it's a new venture. It's justwhy not? Why not? Um?
I mean most you know, multiplepeople that I know have told me I
should do it. You know,I should even do comedy. I don't
think I'm funny at all. Ithink there's nothing. I don't think I'm
funny at all. I actually getupset with people when they, you know,
make certain types of jokes. I'dbe you know, I get all

(18:52):
you know what I'm saying, Butyou know, I want to introduce so
we have in front of us.Yeah yeah, that's yeah, that's that's
um, that's cake Life. Um. You know that's our merchandise, cake
Life hats. You know what I'msaying. For many women, I got
the Cake Life socks, cake Lifehoodies. Um. You know we do

(19:15):
custom embroidery, you know what Imean? Yeah, yeah, I gotta
definitely go check it out on theirwebsite. They have a lot way more
coming to It's not only these dotcom yeah questions. Yeah, I don't
know. Your energy just came moving. You know, she got that up

(19:37):
the show, She said, holdon a second, let me help you
out, you know. Yeah yeah, yeah, Well we are certain age
group, so we talk you knowwhat I'm saying, you know that,
But like what kind of cat whatcategory y'all want to go through? Y'all
want to talk about? You wantto talk about money? Y'all want to
talk about? What we want totalk about? Well, I honestly like,
all right, So basically how theshow was set up is like not

(19:57):
necessarily to really um say all right, this is uh, this is gonna
be like like Uh, we're onlygonna talk about this. I'm you know,
it's exactly. It's best to haveanything that you any like anything like

(20:18):
for example, if you have anythingon your mind, right you want to
just ask a question, you canask a question. It don't matter anything
you want. You know what I'msaying. We we open. You know
what I'm saying. I don't wantto ask though, like what's the differences?
Yeah, I think of how youview life versus how I view life?
Like what's the differences in ages?Like how do you view life?

(20:41):
Well, I'm saying I would,I would really have to. I like
that question. So you basically wantme to tell you how I view life
because I'm saying yeah, because wordslike literally, um things don't sound bad
buzz like there's two different way differentgenerals, Like I could view life a
whole different way than you do.What I'm saying, like, what's the

(21:04):
differences you think are now in theworld? Then from like how I think?
Do you understand what I mean?Like at this stage in my life,
I'm living more for my kids thanI'm living for me. Okay,
Um, So as opposed to whenI was your age, I was just
running reckless. Yeah, you knowwhat I mean. So I'm thinking more

(21:26):
now about the things that I doand how it affects me and others.
Okay, you know what I'm saying, Like it starts with it starts with
me and then all of the otherpeople that's in my that's in my life.
I'm seeing anything that I do canaffect that situation. Right So yeah,
so you see the differences. You'reliving for your kids. Me,

(21:48):
I'm young, I'm very young,So I'm living for myself right now,
you know what I mean. That'sthe difference as in, like you you're
living for your kids. Who areyou living for? Nah? I wish
I was living for myself. I'llbe in somewhere it's warm right now.
I wouldn't even be in this coldPolas weather. You know what I'm saying.

(22:08):
But I'm living for my kids andmy family, you know, and
my family legacy. That's what's importantto me, you know. And you
know, I think that once youget past thirty five, you know,
thirty eight forty, you kind ofstart looking at things from a different perspective.

(22:32):
It's not you know, like youknow, I'm a second with my
brother said over there, Um,you know, you know when we was
younger, especially in our age group, being that we survived the nineties,
because I would think was if youmade it past nineteen, then you know
you got like a badger honor, like yeah, all right, so now
you're ready to go all into theworld, you know what I'm saying.

(22:56):
But you had to you know, you had to live through some stuff first.
And being the fact that, um, you know, we were able
to live through a lot of that, um, you know early, I
think that change. You know whatI'm saying. You know, bullets you
know, gonna pass your head, you know what I'm saying, running and
you're getting into stuff window, youknow, get away from stuff. You

(23:21):
know, you're not getting truck, you know, not get anyway. What
are you talking about? Listen? You're talking about bullets and not listen.
Listen. What I'm trying to tellyou is like I'll give you right,
I'm the long winded, I'm thelong wind But what I'm trying to see,

(23:45):
I know, I give a longexplanation. This is a fact.
This is a fact. But youknow I was just trying to get you
know, answer your question in debtbecause you know, I want you to
really understand like once you get youknow, punchlines, and yeah, yeah,
like like I surviveal you know LisPunch survived punch Lines in the podcast,
Right, yeah, but we survivedthough. You know what I'm saying,
Like we survived past twenty one,Like you feel me Like that's a

(24:08):
big thing. You know what I'msaying. When you when you're born in
the eighties, I got I gota different question. Let's say at this
stage in your life, right, let's say you were to become a millionaire,
will you keep your like will yoube prideful about money? Like will
you consider yourself to be prideful justbecause you have money? Or will you
continue to be humble? Like howwill you move? I'm gonna continue to

(24:33):
be humble. I'm saying the money, the money is just it's just to
continue to make moves. I'm saying, it's not even really for me most
of the time. It's like I'mI'm I'm paying to make situations happen.
So when I'm saying, when thatmillion comes, that million is going to
be an investment into more money soI can help more people don't like that.

(24:56):
You see a lot of people don'tthink like that. A lot of
people think like fuck every body,Like I got my money now, Like
I'm gonna focus on me. I'ma buy you know what I mean.
It's definite mentality. Never be thatbecause it's like it's like with the more
people you got helping you, thebetter you always gonna be. Yeah.

(25:17):
So it's like I'm saying, Ialways was. I always was taught like
the more good, the more goodyou do, the better chances you gotta
win it. It's like remember whatwe were talking about, Like everything has
to do with your mentality, Likeyour mentality plays a big role as in
how you move, how you think, how you how you are as a
person. Literally, it's the energyI'm saying. Whatever, whatever energy you're

(25:41):
putting out, what I'm saying,it's nine times out a team, you're
gonna get that same energy back. That's facts. How do you feel about
fake people? We don't worry aboutI don't know what do you mean?
How do you feel about fake people? How do you feel about them?
Like? Can you're not gonna bearound me, gonna contain sex? Shit
you get if you already think aboutit? How do you know? How

(26:04):
do you how do you Steffer,That's that's that's that's right. Remember,
as you say earlier about how youlook at life and being in your age
group, we are already I'm alreadylike seasoned in finding suckers. You understand
what I'm saying. I'm seeing.Yeah, But then there's times where you
really don't know you know, youknow what's crazy. Now you gotta test

(26:25):
people. That's why you don't testthem me how you gonna know you know
what's crazy? And a lot ofa lot of the situations in this music
and this music thing that I've beenrunning around saying, mo, he usually
he usually pinpoint who's who, becausefor me, this is a new world.
Like if I was if I wasin my neighborhood or something of that
nature, you know what I'm saying, I would be familiar with the terrain.

(26:47):
But this music terrain is that you'regonna know, this is gonna be
certain places to where you're gonna bein and your management, it's gonna be
your eyes and your age. You'renot really gonna know what's gonna on,
So you gotta trust. It's likeand this and this is why it goes
back to trust. Yeah, trustand being nice to people and you know,
putting money in a yeah person.I personally feel though, like there's

(27:11):
a lot of fake people where welive at right now, like New York
everywhere, not even bro It's likeNew York right now. It's like you
meet anybody, you never know ifthey're really gonna stab you in the back
or they're really there for you liketo be. But you know what,
you know what I've learned though,as you as you, as you get
a little bit older, that's what, um, that's what you worry about

(27:33):
when you're young. Right when whenyou get to a certain age, you
do you're not worried about any ofthat. And that's why when you get
to a certain age you um,you you become more successful. And that's
why, um, you know itchanges. It changes, like when you
know you need to a certain age, like back in the day and you
know earlier days, I'm saying that, Um, you know, thirty years

(27:56):
old, you might already had ahouse and a family and car. Now
like you know in the color Community, it's like forty to forty five.
Now you get the house, thecar, everything. You know, we're
a little behind, but you knowwe still understood. We learn it the
boils down to the financial literacy ofthe situations. A lot of people coming

(28:19):
from our communities don't have the financialliteracy to make it out of the situations
that were in. And then youknow, we're so prideful that we're not
even listening to the people we shouldbe listening to when we listen, when
we when we should be listening todon't want to listen. Yo, yo,

(28:40):
you know, bro, listen me. And you know what I'm saying,
I ain't gonna get into that, but being um being if you know,
from certain atmospheres we used to bein a part of we understand,
you know, coming from you know, I know a lot of dudes with
a lot of them with some breadwho say that some real chicken, you

(29:00):
know what I'm saying, Like, you know, pull out a watch like
yeah, look at my watch here, like that's your watch. Look at
this watch. I'm like, damn, bro, it's light shelf. So
you know, it's a really youknow, I'm telling you, But some
of them don't have the same um, they don't got the same uh you
know, they don't got they don'tknow what to do with the money or

(29:22):
whatever literacy you know, my guys. You know, there was no litery.
You know a lot of a lotof people who run from that world
financial literacy. It's like if ifI tell you, what does financial literacy
mean, understand your understanding, yourunderstanding of finances. So it's really it's
so vast that it's it's okay likein in your business, it's okay for

(29:48):
me to be financially financially illiterate becauseyou would have to teach me. Yeah,
you know what I'm saying. Soit's not even it sounds like such
a nasty word and people take itin the negative, but it's really like,
if you don't know something, doyou want to continue not knowing it?
Or would you like to know it? A lot of people, a
lot of people walking through life andthey don't want to know things because it's

(30:11):
gonna take work when you learn, right, But they also don't they don't
want to learn nothing because they're nervousor really they don't got no confidence,
right, they don't got no confidenceto take the step, or they don't
got no confidence they don't want tomake They just don't want to fall flat
on their face because they worried abouthow people are gonna look at them smight,
gonna make fun of them. Peopledon't call them broke or you're like,

(30:33):
oh, you're a bum. Peopleso worried about being called a bum
and a loser and a failure insteadof just learning to take the licks and
keep going, because to try isto fail, but to fail is to
make a mistake and learn a lessonfrom it. If you have a business,
you know, uh, if youhave an ambitious mentality, you're gonna

(30:56):
say, Yo, that ship wasa mistake. Part of me. You're
gonna say, that's just a mistake, and you're gonna just um, you
know, keep moving through. Youfeel me, Yeah, and yeah,
that's that's that's definitely, that's definitelywhat it is. It's like for me.
I'm saying, in the last coupleof years, through my my trials
and tribulations, through this music, and I made a lot of mistakes.

(31:18):
You can attest to a lot ofthe mistakes, a lot of things you
told me not to do. Ijump right out of the window and did
it anyway, and most a lotof money. What I'm saying, like
two thousand dollars I said, don'tdo that. She's listen, gone,
Yo, don't do that three thousanddollars going. Yeah, but you know,

(31:38):
at the end of the day,I'm saying telling people, I'm saying
I'm man ended up, Like yes, so what like so what I'm learning
from that? Yeah, But that'swho makes you who you are. If
you don't, if you don't learnto accept your mistakes and learn to accept
what you've done in the past, then like I feel like, as long
as you accept who you all, that's who you are. You know,

(32:00):
that's who you are. You learnedthat you want to become better than that's
what you do better. That's howlife is literally absolutely right. You know
that. It's a saying and Ireally try not to go off of saints,
but you know, um, ifyou know more, you can do
more. You know what I'm saying, So you gotta it's all about learning.

(32:22):
You gotta learn. I tell myyou know, my son gets upset
with me. He says, Dad, please stop sending me those instagram in
financial literacy skids. I can't keepup with them? What are you doing?
Like him? You know, he'sfifteen, so he told he says
things and I know he's calling melike, you know, I know he's
going. He called me a bogglerdyt one time. I don't know what

(32:43):
that was. You know what I'msaying, I don't you know what I'm
saying, Like I felt kind oflike but I couldn't get upset because you
know, I ain't from his world, so I ain't know what it was.
You know what I'm saying, right, Yeah, you get y'all know
what I'm saying. Yeah, definiteunderstanding. I mean when it comes to
the parents saying, I feel likewe like me, I'm young, we
look at our parents like, bro, like leave me alone, Like you

(33:06):
know what I'm doing? Like youknow what I'm saying. Yes, it's
like I'm doing what I want todo, like leave me alone. Like
That's how it is. But thenyou learn to understand that they're only doing
that because they care about you andthey want better for you and all that
extra shit, you know, youknow what you know what's crazy at you
know a lot of a lot oftimes it's like, I know, it's

(33:27):
just what my kids, like Iwant. I want what I want for
them, and it's not even whatthey want. It's not what they want
me. I want to talk aboutthat. I want to all right,
Yes, that's exactly what the issue. The issue is that our parents want
what they think is best for us, but they never they never stand a
chance to access Oh is this whatyou want? Like is this what you

(33:50):
want to do? Or yeah,Like I'm gonna be honest, there's kids
that drop out of college and yourparents get upset. But at the end
of the day, it's like collegereally is for everybody, you understand what
I mean, Like people, there'sdifferent ways that people can become millionaires without
even stepping into a college. Butthen again, parents don't look at it
like that because parents think, oh, yeah, it's done for you.

(34:12):
No, it's not, because younever know what your kid wants. You
never know what they plan on doingwith their life. You never ask understand
it's really it's it's so crazy, like the parents' role is really guidance.
You know what I'm saying, Andit's as I feel like, but I'm
saying, once you, once you, once you venture off into that realm
of parenthood, you will start tounderstand that. Of course, a lot

(34:34):
of times you're wants, you're gonnaput those once on other people or whatever,
so it might be like, youknow, I want I want my
daughter to play basketball and she wantsto play soccer. Yeah, you know
what I mean, Like, Igotta be able to I gotta be able
to go with her. Want tohear y'all. Hear y'all, hear y'all.
Right, but this is what Igotta say, right, So this

(34:55):
is this was this is one ofmy topics. So I'm trying to wait
till like next week do this, but holding on this. Yeah, man,
y'all going like talking about, Hey, we're talking about we got new
heat, and how do you feelright right? Me being a parent?
You being a parent? Um cakelife, Um about saying, all right,

(35:22):
I don't care what you want todo, this is what you gotta
do because this is what's gonna makeyou successful. You don't know nothing.
You were just born yesterday. Youknow what's crazy? That's that's that's that's
dicey because a lot of a lotof times what I'm what I'm noticing in
my situation. I'm speaking from youknow, for myself. Um is that

(35:44):
a lot of times my kids knowthings that I don't know about because they
on a tablet all day long seeingthings that I'm not seeing. So I'm
kind of. I'm kind of likeI come from that error to where you
know, like, hey boy,I said, you know what I mean,
like, you just gotta do whatthey're telling you to do. So
it's like naturally I have that instilledin me. So it's like if if

(36:08):
my kids is doing something and I'mlike it might just be spurred a moment,
I'm like, hey, you gottado it this way, and it's
like I didn't even put no thoughtinto that. Oh right, cool,
I agree, all right, cool. Now your kids in the house right,
they're riding the scooter back and forth. Get off the scooter. I'm

(36:28):
okay, get off for the scooter. No, I'm okay, daddy,
this is right. You throw thepillow back out. You're sitting on the
couch. You throw the pillow backyo, get off the school chill.
Mama said, don't ride in thehouse. I'm okay, daddy, this
is bomo. See I see.I told you right, but right,

(36:55):
hold on right, because this iswhen my grandmother told me, right,
a child will only due what theysee and what you allow them to.
Right. A child only knows whatyou teach them and what you showed them.
Right. So when my kids, you know, because I'm happening power

(37:20):
right when I tell you something,yo, stop riding, stop riding the
school in the house. I standup. Now, when I stand up,
and I give you a face likeI'm about to about to go there,
about to get you, because Iain't gonna say it two three times.
I'm just gonna get you. Youunderstand. Um, If you don't

(37:43):
have to here to that warning,as soon as you turn your back,
I'm on you. And that's whathe looks like. Oh, you know,
I scared you. And now Imay not spank you. You know
what I'm saying, But I'm gonnajust scare you a little bit, like
Yo, I told you spanking legalthese days? Is that? Listen?
Listen? Is that lea? Idon't think that said anything about spinkings.

(38:08):
What I said was I just haveto get up in the kid's face.
I'm a child. I am amandatory um child reporter, all right,
So if I see you being yourkids, I have to report you.
Okay, you understand? So um, yeah, I definitely don't beat my
kids, you understand. I onlystand them in the corner and make them

(38:30):
hold the book. You understand. But I am very uh, you know,
firm with the idea of yo,your kids only know to tease them
and what you show them. Soif you let them do certain things and
you you know what I'm saying thatyou gotta expect when they get fifteen,
they're gonna do the same thing. When you be like, yo, chill

(38:51):
out, They're gonna be like,yo, chill you chill out. It
ain't gonna be no, I'm okay, this is It's gonna be nine you
chill out. You gonna be likeyo, my dude, they be like
yo, my. You know whatI'm saying right back, because my son
is my size now you know, bigger too play football. So so let's
change your years. What's going on? What's going on as far as like,

(39:15):
um, you know the world andour audience, they don't know that
you also produce um like you actuallymake fire beats. Your interview with me
right now, I'm saying, wejust we just for me. I really
need, I really need everybody that'sgonna be watching us and following us to

(39:36):
really understand what you bring to thetable. As far as cake life,
the movement, you know what Imean, Like you know you know you
know me, Um, you know, I like to just play the background
and just now we're not talking aboutwhat you would like to do. All
right, but I need you toUM, let the person answer the question.
Nah naw answered uh interviewer one onone right, Yeah, let the

(39:59):
let the guy into question. UM, what's the question to get you just
a little bit, you know alot. You know, I feel me
you see this knowledge. The questionwas what do you bring to the table?

(40:20):
Oh? That question? Okay?Yeah, because I mean, you
know, like you know, Imean basically what I bring to the table
is UM understanding of the business. That's what I bring to the table.
UM when you have you know,UM situations because I've been in so many
different situations in the business. UM, whether it be uh, you know,

(40:45):
studio production, whether it be UMstage production, whether it be uh
I mean I used to produce infashion production. UM. I used to
teach UM engineering and production at theBrotherhood Sister Soul on one hundred and forty
third between Brow and Hamilton. Andthat's why that's why I got my um

(41:08):
my start as a as a asa teacher, you know, UM teaching
production and engineering and basically you know, UM, I taught the kids how
to uh you know, set upa studio, UM, how the engineer
of the studio, UM, howto record an artist? How to slightly

(41:32):
um do a light mix down?UM, this is a lot of this
is a lot of them younger kidsat the time they were I don't want
to say, you know, getinto that too too much, but you
know one forty three and Hamilton, you know that's where Um. You know
some of the the ASAP dudes isfrom whatever whatever. But um, you

(41:55):
know, I know a couple ofdudes. I've seen a couple dudes when
they was younger, you know, starting off whenever I remember, um,
you know, being introduced to someof these cash back in the day,
and uh, you know, wouldyou would you be interested in working with
artists these days? Would you be? Um, you know, take your
your hard boots and your har hatoff, you know what I'm saying from

(42:19):
the construction site and you know, bring it back to the bringing back to
the studio. Um. It maybe a lot of artists on on on
the island in the city that youknow. Yeah, I mean I always
I'm always going to help artists.I can't even name all the artists I've
helped or you know, giving adviceto or even you know, been in

(42:39):
situations or you know, I'm nottalking about help. I'm talking about services,
like you know what I'm saying, your service, Yeah, actually you're
also also providing services, you know, things of that nature. But you
know, for me, like Isaid earlier, it's it's never been about
like when you know, when youguys brought up the topic of it,
what would you do with allion dollars? Money has never been the goal.

(43:04):
It's not about money. It's allabout the connection, the networking and how
it can benefit me and the peoplearound me. That's what matters. I
don't give money. Ain't that whatpeople don't understand. It's like, you
know, if just one percent ofpeople control the money and they're making the
money. Uh, you know thatmeans, you know, when you get
to a certain levels, like Hi, you made it to the next level,

(43:25):
here's some money. You know whatI'm saying. So it's like the
money just creates more options for you. You understand what I'm saying. So
that's how I look at money. You know, it's just more options.
Um, you know, with moremoney, of course you have more options.
So of course you want to increaseyour options message. We always choked,

(43:45):
we always choking raising, We alwayschoking raising you. So that's what
I bring to the table. Youknow. You know she wants to answer
the question first to be feel meso all right, you know, so
it's I'm long when I got alot of your look, I help.
You know, I'm part of alot of organizations, you guys, the
power, you know. You know, I'm part of a lot of different

(44:07):
things. You know. I'm allabout, you know, enlightening my people.
I'm all about um, you know, finding new ways to do things.
I'm you know, I try notto, uh you know, be
that person that says, oh,you have to do things this way.
You know what I'm saying. Ifyou were able to figure something out that

(44:29):
I was, that I'm able todo and do it in the same you
know, the same amount of time, then well I can't bother you.
Then you know what I'm saying. You could do it. You could do
it at the same time that thisprofessional guy doesn't. He gets paid one
hundred hours an hour to do something. All right, you could do it,
then you do it. You knowwhat I'm saying. I'm all about
it. I'm all about supporting youknow what I'm saying. So all right,
what questions do you have? Imean, you know, I'm just

(44:51):
listening to you. I'm enjoying youknow, your questions right now. You
know, unfortunately I'm unprepared. Sonow it don't matter who the host is.
It doesn't even matter right now becauseyou know we have this is why
you know, Uh, interviewer oneon one. You know what I'm saying.
He's still on a step one hundred. He ain't get the one on
one yet, so you know whatI'm saying. Yeah, you over there

(45:13):
vibe that heard. But yeah,we got questions. But um, I
really want to hear what you gottasay, Nellie, because me and T
talked about this before you came, and UM, we really kind of wanted
to pick your brain. So that'swhy, you know, pick my brain.
Yeah, I like you said earlier, you touched on it earlier.

(45:34):
You said, um, you knowmy age group? What is it?
You know? What do you thinkit's like to be? Um? You
know my age group? And Ido what do I think? I feel
like my I'm young? Like I'myoung? Okay, so sometimes we do.
I mean I do struggle with likekind of thinking like what am I
doing now? Is it really worthit? You know what I mean.

(45:57):
I'm so young, so it's likeI can't predict my future, but what
I'm doing right now is it reallygoing to be my future? You know
what I mean? Like, isit really worth it? Am I wasting
my time? That's that's the thingthat us as young people we do struggle
with because we're so young and we'retrying to make something out of it,
like out of we're trying to makesomething so early so later on we don't

(46:19):
have to struggle in life. Butthen it's like we struggle with the question
am I doing the correct thing?Yeah? Correct? Wow, that's that's
a you know what I mean.Boom see that's that's yeah. That's why
I needed you here because that wasa perfect question right there. Um.
You know, I've always you know, struggled with that. When I was
young, I struggled with that.I was trying to figure out what am

(46:39):
I going to do? Um,you know, especially I was going to
I was very extremely talented. Icould do all to anything I wanted to
do. I could do it literally, you know, Son is like,
don't you really think about it?And it's like it's all about time,
Like everything comes with time. Sometimesyou do got to be patient. Sometimes

(47:02):
me personally, I'm not that patient. So it's like if I want something,
I want it now, you knowwhat I mean. But then it's
like you gotta like you gotta respectthe process. Yeah, yeah exactly.
It's like over time things will settle. Can I can I Can I say
something too? Um? Uh?I would say focus on this, you

(47:27):
know what your whatever you're enjoying, whatever is making money for you, that's
what you want to focus on.If this is um creating um you know
uh, situations where you can networkwith people that are worth networking with,
Yeah, then that's a good situation. Now, which you have to do
from from from your angle is createyour uh your um you know your your

(47:55):
your agenda is that you know uhyour process, you know um your How
can I say this? It's justa certain word that I'm looking for trying
to be politically correct right now reallyinstead of just being a hood like yeah,
you know what I'm saying, butum, I'm gonna say this right.
So as long as you just focuson whatever you're doing, you can

(48:19):
become successful at it. Now youmay graduate from that and say, okay,
I'm going to now do this becauseyou already you know, may have
made some money from something or madeenough money from something, so now you
can take that money and invest itinto something else and continue to build.
Because it's all about building, ifyou know. It's like if you're a

(48:42):
builder, you build one house andyou say, all right, I made
Have you build a building? Imade ten million dollars? All right,
I did it in two years.Um, all right, are we gonna
retire? Huh no, Let's buildanother couple of buildings. You know what
I'm yea money, you know whatI'm saying. So that's how you got
to look at it. You know, I never thought I would be doing

(49:05):
construction. Oh my god, Ohmy god. Yo, when you're on
the build, when you're in abuilding, you like forty stories up and
the building ain't got no damn walls, and that breeze come in. You
know, all you see is aconstruction workers. They run into the pillars
or in the steps and everybody becauseeverybody got on like fifty last so they
look like snow man. You knowwhat I'm saying, it'd be crazy,

(49:28):
it's crazy. But um, themoney's good. Uh, it's it's you
get to network with a lot ofdifferent people because the construction world is,
uh, it's spread out, youknow. And if you have a good
reputation, just like in the musicbusiness or in anything that you're doing,
if you have a good reputation andthey know that when you come, you're

(49:50):
coming to do business, you're serious, You're gonna be professional, and then
they're gonna get a good outcome fromyou. You know, being at the
job, you can go anyw Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Your
name is gonna to see you.So it's the same thing like you know,
you becoming a young host, youknow what I'm saying. So,
um, you know, the moreyou you know, learn about the business.
You know, you're cosmatic, Um, you're intelligence, you seem very

(50:15):
um, you seem you know, quite sharp. You know you're attractive.
Um, you know, you gotyou you you got some things going for
you. So now it's just ready, you know. Now you just gotta
get yourself ready and start. Yeah, but I'm kind of like talking towards
people who don't got their shit together, you know what I mean, Well,
you can't worry about them. Whatyou mean talking. I'm talking about

(50:37):
like like let's talk to those likewhat what advice I got for people that
they don't know what to do withtheir life? You know what i mean.
I'm saying. Listen, Listen,I'm saying it. It's like this,
I can't really tell other people onwhat they do, what they like.
I'm saying I could give you,I could give you insight on what
I'm doing, was working for me. But I'm saying, how you will

(51:00):
tell somebody else what to do whatthey like? You gotta give it.
I mean, it's not about givingsomebody what to do. You give them
a general You may give them asuggestion. A suggestion I would say is
do your research on whatever you thinkyou want to do. Learn how much
it they make? You know thesalary for that job, you know,

(51:20):
and learn if that's how much moneyyou want to make. Learn you know,
if you know, take your naturaltalents, don't fight your natural talents.
If you play, If you're agood tennis player, but everybody's telling
you, yo, bro, youshould play football. Bro yo, you
mad, big bro, you shouldplay but you're winning tennis tournaments, and
then play tennis. You understand whatI'm saying, like, get as far

(51:44):
as you go happy, right,No, no, no, no,
I can't say that. I can'tsay I can't say that. I can't
say that. Do what makes youhappy, because doing what makes you happy
will make you broke. Well, doing what makes you happy will leave you.
You'll end up you'll end up homelessin la you know what I'm saying.
On the side of the road, chasing your dreams? You know what

(52:05):
I'm saying? What if? Whatif dating the crackhead makes you happy?
Perfect reality? At the end ofthe day, it's like it's people.
You know, your significant other mightbe connected to something that you know what

(52:27):
I'm saying, right right? Twocrackheads love each other, but they in
love you Like, yo, howdo these freaking drug addicts? How do
they stay in love? They don'thave They've been together for thirty years,
just getting high with each other orfighting, arguing down the streets. You
can't understand. What the hell dothey What's what's going on here? Like,

(52:50):
but you know you feel, youfeel me, So it's like,
um, you know, you justgotta stay focused and whatever you're good at,
that's what you work at. Youdo the research on that. Um,
you don't try to UM, youknow, don't overextend yourself because that's
really where your mess up being young. If you overextend yourself, you know,

(53:14):
people will take advantage of your youth, People will take advantage of your
your your ideas, and what willhappen is it'll be you just ended up,
you know, paying your dues.So don't end up just paying your
dues and you don't get nothing forit. So you know, make sure

(53:34):
you know what I'm saying to you. You get my drip. You know
what I'm saying. I don't wantto be long winded. I'm trying to
cut cut off quickly here, butyou know, you know, I just
gotta you know, give the understandingof Lee as far as as far as
financial moves. UM, I'm saying, how are you moving? How are
you moving through all of these situations? You know, starting to um,
you'll probably start to have to dealwith lawyers and things to that nature.

(53:58):
How are you feeling about that? What I mean by that, like,
in a lot of these a lotof these situations when you have you dealing
with managers, you're dealing with contractsfor you know, advertisements and things to
that nature. You might have to. You might have somebody contract you out
to do a video or something ofthat nature, and they have certain stipulations

(54:19):
on things that they want you todo. Whatever you sign on for these
things, however, that has todo like obviously, if I'm okay with
what I'm signing enough for, thenI'm okay with it. Like when it
comes to dealing with lawyers, thatgoes through like obviously my parents first,
Like that goes through my parents, that then goes to my manager, that

(54:39):
then goes through me. If I'mokay with everything that's being done, then
I'm okay with it because at theend of the day, I do know
what I'd be doing, you knowwhat I mean, Like I know what
I'm doing, I know what's right, I know what's wrong. So yeah,
that just has to do with likehow smart you are, how smart
you want to move here? Y'allknow if you're from the Bronx right all

(55:00):
right now, you're doing so muchtalk about you everywhere be yea. But
yeah, b with their money,I always moved, you gotta move smart
way of money. You can't,Like I was saying, you can't spend
all your money on design or youcan't spend all your money on this and
that. Like me, I'm aperson, I do like real estate.

(55:22):
That's something that I like, Iwanted to get into before I became an
influencer. I do like real estate. I do like like investing into stuff
like no stocks and all of that. Like that's something I'm still don't know
one hundred percent about it, butI was like, I like learning about
it, you know what I'm saying. So yeah, I moved smart with
my money. Okay, okay, smart moves. You already know what we're

(55:46):
choking about. Cash is the ruler, you know. You know this is
um. You know this is ourfirst episode here what we're talking about.
You know what I'm saying. Youknow what I'm saying. And UM,
you know I definitely uh, Idefinitely UM enjoyed this episode. Definitely talked

(56:07):
a lot, so I'm pretty sure, well you know what I'm saying talking
like so UM, this is uh. We definitely have to you know,
go out with a bang, butI definitely enjoyed this. UM. Once
again, we want to give ashout out to Nellie Bills. We definitely

(56:28):
appreciate Chap for having me make surey'all do go follow me on Instagram,
