you need all our entrepreneurs, weneed all of the artists. Were hip

the people that ain't getting a supportthat they need. You know what I'm
saying, it's very important, absolutelytapping you know. So um, you
know, we went talking a littlebit about our guests. Ah man,
(05:36):
my Boy Joey Pajamas and hot WaterRecords. Yeah, how are the records?
They're making a lot of notice rightnow. Yeah. Now he's definitely,
UM, I know, he gota studio, he's putting a lot
of putting a lot of good music. Boy's intellectual. Yeah, I know,
he was saying that, UM,you know everybody's can they keep as
(05:56):
to them to be an engineer Andhe's like, hey, I just run
the lady. I can't run theplace and be the engineer. You know.
All the same time, you know, he got a lot going on.
Yeah, I know he has umuh different uh, infraential studios,
A lot going on, He gota lot going on. Man, I've
been over. I've been over tohis places. Nice too. Man,
he got um, you know,he got uh some sneaker, some sneaker
(06:21):

So I'm gonna let him tell y'allwhat definitely, Yeah, yeah, that's
cool. All right. So yeah, you want to bring him out down
all you want. I'm saying, you know, we do, because I
mean, I just talk. Imean, I got some jokes today.
You know you came in here. You was kind of broke up the lord,
(06:43):
hold on, hold on, holdon, give me some jokes.
He helped him get out the car. We help him get out of the
car. He was like, that'swhat he was sounding like when we helped
get out of the car. Wassaying, you know that the job had
me jammed up today. Let's justsay that. Man. I can't even
once this show is over, Idon't know where I'm gonna go to the
(07:03):

whole lot of them some motion I'mgonna I'm saying, I'm already on a
three piece, right, because hetrust me, he ain't gonna move from
that spot. I'm right there, all right. I ain't gonna message you
(07:24):
too much. That's um, Bobby. Let's go to commercial. We're gonna
bring Joey out. We'll be rightback. M m hm m m m
(08:11):
m m m chack lic chake placecap bolt Eames were back at it again.
(08:52):
Y'all know that this we can't losewhat we talking? What are we
talking about? You already know whatI'm talking about talking about talking? You
(09:24):
got what I need to look justlike the girl of my dreams, and
I've been taking bound me. Canyou white beet because you're just like me.
You got what I need to lookjust like the girl of my dreams,
and I've been about the money. What'll we talking about? Yo?
Yo? Yo? Yeah, yeah, yeah, we bag back yo,
(09:46):
Joe moving, You're gonna you gottaget in this show. Give I couldn't
I couldn't see, I couldn't seewhere I was before? All right?
Now okay yo? Yeah we herejo first out first and foremost. Shout
out Jetic because that's how me andcake Life was able to link up through
(10:07):
him, right shout out angelic man, shout out Ngetic. Jetic's doing a
lot. Yeah, he's making alot of moves. Yeah a lot.
He making a lot of moves. You're working hard. That's a fucking fact,
man. Yeah, we be notallowed to later word about it,
all right. So yeah, basicallyI'm local to Long Island, just like
(10:30):
I would assume most of your guestswould be, right as everybody from Long
Island right now, man, noteverybody, but people come out from different
spots. Yeah, yeah, Ifeel I gotta come. He had some
people come out from different areas, from the Bronx, from from Harlem,
from uh Mount Vernon. Yeah,we had the brother Ville Gard from Mount
Vernon because he was mad because Itold him he was from the Bronx.
(10:54):
Shout out with my man will Guard. You know, I was a little
girl, you know. Yeah,no which Mucola. But I'm you know,
let them know where you at onthe knowledge. So yeah, that's
what I was getting to. Sofrom patchoguh that's where our studios located,
Hotwater Records, right, so weseen what was going on in the music
industry. So a little backstory. All my boys make music, they all
(11:18):
wrap or produce or engineer. Sowith that being said, like I was
just always around the ship. Iwasn't. I wasn't like, you know,
partaking in it, but I wasalways there. So as as I'm
there, you know, being partof it, I just see things.
We end up at different spots.Sometimes we're in basements, sometimes we're in
like professional studio. Sometimes we're inlike like um apartments. Right, you
(11:43):
know what I'm saying, all thethree major spots you'd see in recording studio,
you know, So I just seenlike how people were doing business and
ship and I'm sorry, but butuh that that got me thinking. So
anyway, is this is this oneguy he had literally his dog in the
(12:03):
same like spot as his studio andhis dog literally pooped on the ground and
he didn't even clean it up,so the studio literally smelled like crap.
Bro, you know what I'm saying, Like this is this is the type
of stuff A little spot, right, So these are the things that I
would see or you would just watchengineers work and stuff that was part of
(12:24):
your ground. What through I guess, So I guess so I guess that
at the time, what you hadto you had to see some of the
ways. He was like, I'mnot gonna let that happen in my spot,
you know what I'm saying. Well, I wasn't thinking about it like
that because at the time I didn'treally know that I was gonna go the
recording studio route and end him openinga recording studio. Right. I was
(12:46):
just there with my friends hanging outand stuff, So I just pay attention
to stuff. So I just waslike, I I'm not really trying to
go back to the poopy smelling spot, you know what I'm saying, Like
where we go? Yeah, okay, we're going here, right, So
you just notice certain things that peopledo and then and you just you just
see what it is for the mostpart, because most studios are doing identical
(13:11):
like things, you know what I'msaying. It's like, yeah, there's
nothing really there's right, most peopledon't have their own specific formula on how
they run their studio. Right. It's because there's there's really no like major
formula I noticed either for running astudio, right, like wh who really
is the guy right now that's atthe forefront for recording studios and like teaching
(13:33):
people how to do better business. You know what I'm saying, there's there's
no there's nobody really doing that.So where's like the rulebook for how this
is done? Like, um,I don't know exactly how long like recording
studios have been a business for,but like it ain't long, you know
what I'm saying, Oh, acouple hundred years into it. As opposed
to other things, probably it's likethere's so much like experience, so much
(13:58):
knowledge, so many books, somany like courses on things. There's not
really any any courses or anything likethat, right, So for the most
part, businesses in the recording industry, they're very cut and dry. You
go in, you get your mixand master, you track your vocals,
right, that's usually what comes beforethe mix and master, or you just
go there and get your your songs, mix and master. Right, So
(14:20):
there's nothing really much that they're offeringfor you. You know, Like some
people will be like, oh,I got connections to people that do music
videos, right, you know whatI'm saying, that's one little avenue,
But like what else is being donefor the artist, And like that's what
I was really watching, you knowwhat I'm saying. When I was there
(14:41):
at these spots, you know, like what's being done for the artists?
And all I've seen was just onething, you know what I'm saying.
It was just one straight path.Come in, record your music, mix
and master. All right, I'llcatch you around, you know what I'm
saying. Yeah, yeah, Solike yeah, like come in, cool,
get out, That's that's cool.But when you're when you're like have
(15:03):
a miss us a business type ofmindset, you're you think a little differently
about it. Right. So Igrew up like I was selling candy,
selling lemonade, whatever the fuck youcould sell. I'm sorry again, I'm
just selling whatever, right, SoI just I just was looking at things
different, right, So there's somuch money left on the table that we
(15:24):
weren't getting right the weill me notpersonally like, but just like in the
recording industry. Right, So whatif you had a camera guy there at
all times filming videos, right, you know what I'm saying, that couldn't
hurt. You know, that's aservice that you're adding extra to the artists,
you know what I'm saying. Howcan we service the more right?
(15:45):
Interviews, podcast, TV shows, whatever, whatever you whatever way you want
to spin it. You know, like maybe you just walk around with the
artists and with the camera, andhe just shows you what's going on with
his life, you know what I'msaying, more stuff for the art artists,
Like those are all separate lanes thatthere isn't really much of you gotta
So it's really it's really like howdo you what I'm seeing? How do
(16:08):
you get the artists to buy intothis? So the main thing that I've
learned so far from doing this isthat like, you're not gonna make them
buy into it, you know whatI'm saying, Like they are going to
come to you on their own timebecause there's nothing that you could really say
to them to make you just reallygain their trust. At least, I
(16:30):
personally haven't experienced something where I saidto them where it was just like all
right, I'm in you know whatI'm saying. Like they're basically sold by
the time you start talking to them, you know what I'm saying. So
if not, then you got towait for them to come to you.
So that takes time. Right,So people that I messaged when I first
opened up the business a year andlike six months ago are just starting to
(16:53):
reply to me now, you knowwhat I'm saying, because they've been following
the whole time. It started itoff with who's this guy, He's probably
doing nothing. We'll see, youknow, with there's probably gonna be no
post coming out of this thing, like whatever idea they were having about it.
Over time, you know what I'msaying, they just start to realize,
(17:14):
Oh, maybe he's actually here forthe long haul. Maybe in the
game, you know, maybe he'snot here, gone tomorrow. You know,
So like why would somebody want toinvest time and it's somebody that's not
even gonna be there for the longhaul? Right? Yeah, got when
you're the boss, people want tosee. They want to be able to
see, all right, if hedid all this, I gotta be able
to do this, because if hecould do it, I could do it.
(17:37):
They want to be motivated. Peopledon't want to work with somebody if
they don't think could usually do thejob. You know what I'm saying when
it comes to hands on stuff, and especially if you're giving them examples and
they're like, all right, listento me, let me show you how
to do this, then you gottaread know what the fuck. You gotta
ready know what you're doing. Youcan't come out here and say follow me.
It's the same thing. Like, you know, you having a record
(18:00):
company, you can't say, allright, joining my record Why should we
join your record label? Why arewe going to do in your label?
You understand what you know. Yourincentives have to be. You have to
be good, You have to begood value that has to be good for
those for whoever you, whoever you'retargeting. Good man. So I read
this book a while ago, andto be honest, like, this is
(18:22):
something that you guys will anybody whojust don't think that this is important.
You guys need to learn. AndI'm not saying learn bad things, learn
learn good things, you know whatI'm saying, learn stuff that could add
to your life. If you can'tsee an opportunity in front of you,
it's most likely because you're not educatedenough to see an opportunity. So I
read this book, right. It'scalled the go Giver, right, and
(18:48):
the go Giver focused on what youcan do for others and not what you
can do for yourself to gain monetaryvalue for yourself. Right, So what
can I add to other people's livesthat will make them be like you know
what? Let me go try themout? You know what I'm saying,
what can I add to their lifethat might make them go? You know
what, maybe this guy is differentfrom the others because he's doing something nobody
(19:11):
else has ever even done. Forme, And I've been making music for
like ten years, you know, because most of the guys we deal with
the like, I would say, like at least half of them have been
doing music for a long period oftime. It's not their first time in
the studio, you know what I'msaying. So if they got ten years
under their belt, right so,now they see stuff that they've never seen
(19:34):
before, you know, and it'slike, okay, like maybe there's something
more here than just what we cansee, you know. So the contents
a big part of that. Rightnow, what can we show them?
You know what I'm saying, Like, we're documenting a vast majority of the
stuff that happens in the studio throughfilming it, right that's stuff people would
(19:56):
never see. Right now, peopleend up an opportunit in the days they
would have never got. What ifI want to make an ad and now
their faces in the ad, theirmusic's in the ad, and I'm paying
for the ad, and the adsees thousands of people. You know what
I'm saying, other opportunities, it'sjust don't see you know what I'm saying.
I do, I do a goodmajority of that. It's I'll say
(20:19):
that I don't. I don't doeverything right. I'm still learning how to
do that right. So that's allproblems. You see what you said though
you said, you're still learning.Like you said earlier before the earlier you
said, people won't they don't usuallyhave the knowledge right, so they can't
make they can't take the right stepsforward because they don't have the knowledge.
(20:40):
But usually people don't have the knowledgebecause they're fucking lazy. That's definitely a
fact as to why they don't havethe knowledge. You understand, like you
gotta get out of you, gottaget your head out you. But glad
to do to out you is youknow what I'm saying, So you can
hear the things that's going on.See you know what I'm saying. You
can't see what's going on, especiallysome people got they hit up some else's
(21:00):
but you know what I'm saying,so they definitely can't see what's going on
here. It's going on. Youfeel me like she's crazy, But you
know I ain't gonna interview. Youknow I ain't gonna miss an interview.
Now you're good, You're good. You know about to go on the RNT.
I almost running the rent right therefor a second. You get my
rants under control, the topics? So what else we got? Asked me?
(21:23):
Well, no, listen, Iwant to know what was the what
was some of the steps that youtook to opening you know, to gaining
your own property. You know you'reand opening it up, you know,
tell the people, you know, the steps, some of the steps you
took so they can open your business. You know what I'm saying. Let
(21:44):
let us let us know what's goingon, man, because tell our listeners.
Tell our listeners what they need toknow to set up what you got
going on? All right? Reliability, Right, that was the first one
that got me into the studio spaceitself. Right. I was paying my
rent to my landlord on time everymonth for an apartment, right, and
(22:07):
he one day came up to me. It was like, hey, I
have commercial properties. And I'm like, all right, what are you even
talking about right now? Because Ididn't like you know what I say?
And he was like, you know, like like shop spaces like places where
the store or something like that.Right, So I'm like, oh really,
and I because it was literally likethe day after I gave him the
(22:32):
rent or something, he asked methis question, right, So I'm just
like, all right, So Iguess he thinks I have some money to
spend, right, So I gotit. I was like, you know
what, what's the worst that couldhappen? I find a spot that I
could actually make some money out of, right, or the worst case scenario
I guess in that situation was Ididn't find anything, you know what I'm
(22:53):
saying. But so no risk,no rewards. Were you going with this,
right? I guess so, becausethat's that's what we'll get to next.
Like, so, I didn't knowwhat these properties look like. He
showed me a bunch of spots justthinking about it. I didn't even know
what I was going to put inthem, you know, like the recording
studio thing didn't happen up until therewas one night where I'm just in my
(23:15):
car by myself, thinking mad lateAnd that was after the fact where I
looked at those properties. Already Ilooked at him, but I didn't make
a decision because I didn't know whatI wanted to do with anything, right,
So I'm sitting there in my carone night, laid back. It's
like four in the morning. I'msmoking a joint and were But anyways,
(23:41):
I'm just deep in Look, youknow what I'm saying. I'm deep in
thought. You know, I'm reflectingon my life because at the moment in
my life that I was, andhow old are you at this point?
At that point, I must havebeen like maybe just turned twenty or like
like I might still be like atthe end of nineteen, you know what
I'm saying. So I know Ihad one gift that I was just born
(24:03):
with that I was able to seethat common sense situation. It was common
sense, you know, so itworks. I seen I wasn't in a
good, like a good situation formyself, and it wasn't gonna get much
better or it wasn't gonna get muchbetter for the long haul, you know
what I'm saying. So I wasjust like, all right, well,
(24:25):
this doesn't last forever. What canI do to, you know, get
to the next point. And I'mjust sitting there listening to music and I
just got goose bumps. But itjust the music just was just hitting.
You know what I'm saying, AndI had that realization I said this.
I think it was on ngetics podcastthe DNA one, I mean his show.
(24:48):
Yeah, I'm sorry. I doa bunch of podcasts, so I'm
just used to say pods. Butwe got shows over you. Yeah,
yeah, they got shows. Theygot multiple angles. The officially come get
yourself looked up man, for onehundred dollars, it's not bad strong Holland
TV dot com. You already knowwhat it is. You just dollars,
(25:10):
right, you can talk about whatyou want and like you see this,
they're like one hundred dollars. Oldon, hold on, because one hundred
dollars get you a certain things, because you can't be broadcasting it confused.
Now they're gonna be like bad,Yo. I told you I was gonna
(25:30):
hook you up, right, andI didn't even listen. And you ain't
everybody. You didn't bring you up. You didn't bring birch. I don't
have no merch. No, youdidn't bring right. So you know what
I'm saying, Joe Joey, Joey, Joey, Joey, Joey, We're
gonna talk off camera, Yeah, yeah, that's that's phenomenal. I'm charging
(25:52):
forty right, My shit, Ican't I can't even I can't even knock
it. But anyways, who yougot engineering over there? My boy sounds
by germs. He spent at leastten years doing this, so you don't
spend ten years doing something. Sohe fifty dollars an hour. He's around
there, Yeah, he's y'all knowwhen y'all go to the studio. Yeah,
(26:18):
when y'all go to the studio, you're gonna get good quality work,
but you gotta pay like you wayOh yeah, you know I'm saying it
close, it close if you wantedto sound right, Yeah, you guys
get more people to take their timeand you know, really really show their
talent. It cost. It's notfor free expensive mics and good mics.
(26:45):
Yeah, I hear you right now. That's one thing that I'm in a
struggle with. I can't lie becauseI do want to increase the prices,
but then again, I don't wantthem so far out of reach of like
anybody. You know what I'm saying, Well, you got your locals.
I know you got your local guys, right, Yeah, but you know
I don't know, because one majorreason why I started this is because I've
(27:07):
seen what was going on. SoI'm not trying to tax nobody, you
know. At the same time,we need money to scale the business,
you know what I'm saying. Sothat's like what I'm torn between right now.
But our rates are decent. Ihaven't really ever had anybody try to
haggle with me. You've got twohours fucking one, twenty four hours,
two hundred dollars, you know whatI'm saying, six hours to eighty very
(27:30):
reasonable prices. But our quality isis top tier. We got all the
same stuff. You gotta Avalon. We got Avalon, we got that,
they got that into commercial, theygot the Avalon. Like they're like,
look, we gotta Avalon. Lookwith some of the um, with some
of the artists that you're working with, like, um, anybody, anybody
(27:51):
duality, you know, any majorthings shout out my man Prid to die
because he's kind of he's constantly constantlyworking. Like if he's not in the
studio recording music, he's managing otherartists that he has, or he's making
music videos or working on content,or trying to schedule deals with other people
(28:11):
or he's trying to get up insome type of venue to perform, you
know, so he's got a wholelot going out. I think, I
don't I don't remember exactly, buthim Long Island. He's from Long Island,
but I think like Bay Shore orsomething like that. So he's he's
a little deep from from Patrick. But you know it's it's all love every
(28:33):
time I see him, like youtell him, reach out to him,
telling me anymore the show. Comeyou know what I'm saying, he'd probably

(29:45):
Joey, Yeah, Joey. Andright, So sh I'm saying,
what's your favorite what's your favorite eatery? When you you know, you go
out and you're eating all, that'stough question. Man, I'm new young
man. You go out a lot, don't you what you mean? To
be honest? I don't go outa lot, bro. Like I told
you, I'm just plotting, scheming, bro. I was my back was
(30:08):
jammed up. I was in here. Yeah we had but you know you
made it the rest by by yourself. You did a good job. Yeah,
you got over here. You haveto drive over here. Screen,
you drove over here. We justhelped you out of the car. But
yo, he yo, this lady, yo, this lady stopped short at
(30:30):
the light coming here. Boy,Oh my god, man, I was
calling her old type of she don'teven know me, she don't even think.
Oh my god, that was funny. No, but you we like
to eat that because all right, all right, all right, okay,
(30:51):
some people like some people got fastfood restaurants, got somebody cooking for you.
Yeah, you got somebody cooking MicaWaver Nah, I would, I
definitely, I guess. I guesshonestly, Like a lot of people don't
like their parents cooking. Like mymom she makes them. She makes some
fire ass rice and um and andbeans, chicken and deana sausage and stuff
(31:17):
like that, like all all ina pot, the beans on the side,
you know what I'm saying, tossingon top that right, there's just
something like I could eat that likea couple of times a week. You
know what I'm saying. I like, I like. I like good cook
stuff. Though, you know whatI'm saying, I don't. I don't
like anything like fake. Like ifit's real food, I'll eat it almost
(31:37):
anything without really hesitating unless it tastesbad, you know, but that's after
I tasted. So now, ifyou're eating at if you're eating at a
friend's house and the food is bad, you're telling them you like, yo,
this is the same it. Imean, I'll probably like for food
(31:59):
to be bad. Like it hasto literally like taste bad to me,
you know, but I'm just justactual question. You just dodged, dodged
my question. If the food isbad though, it like it has to
taste bad. So if it tastesbad, yeah, like I'm not eat
it tastes bad. I'm telling youit tastes bad. So if the food
(32:21):
tastes bad, I'm probably gonna belike this is this is not the same
it, bro, like the sayingit I'm putting I'm probably not either,
bro for real, because why areyou gonna eat something that tastes right?
Come? Not at all? Goahead, I've been for my health before.
(32:43):
Shout house. I love y'all.Yeah yeah. So I go to
my right and my headphones. Ohyeah, my headphones that weren't there,
my bad, I did hear it? I was, you know, I
was loud enough though. I thinkthey still can hit me do the other
mix, but hopefully right. Soso um, I love my people's right.
(33:08):
So at one time I met myboys crib right, and he telling
me, he like nope. Hismother's like, yo, you want something?
He like, nope, I don'twant none of that. Ship he
right, He like nope. I'mlike, yoh like that you want some
No, No, no, Ididn't want to. I won. I
(33:29):
was just I was you know,I'm skinny. I'm always you know,
he always telling me I need toeat anyway. I know he's watching his
laugh and he cracking a dying rightnow. Um, he like, nah,
nah, I don't want nothing.No, I'm good. So he
going there. She made this food, right, he wouldn't made like a
(33:50):
turkey singles. You made sing atunah sings. You may want to me
like a tuna singing or something likethat, right, And he like,
yo, bro, don't say nothing. Then don't eat the food. But
she's gonna be mad at you, right right. So me and my own
my home girl love you to death, love you. Right. So we're
talking like about this like last weekendmedia, you're talking about this, right.
(34:12):
So she said to me, She'slike, oh you can't you got
you took the food. Oh youdidn't eat that ship. Oh I know
she went crazy on you. Right, So she gave me this big play
of fool, right that shoul likethis. The food wasn't bad, right,
(34:34):
it was just happened to liten toomuch. No, hold lord,
this is because I'm trying to beeasy with was crazy because it's mad little
squid legs. It's like a seafood salad. Right. I probably would
have liked that Spanish people style.Shout out to all my Spanish people,
(34:57):
my family members, that Spanish youknow, all at my Porto vegan.
You didn't finish the story though.I couldn't even finish that thing, right,
So my boy he laughing at me, he laughing. She says,
she coming in the room. Right, we're sitting in the room, right,
We're sitting there. We watched likethe little TV saying, right,
say you acting like you act likeyou don't see the plate. I'm like
(35:21):
eating a little bits. I'm liketrying to. I can't even I didn't
wasn't that hungry. I just wanteda little bit. She gave me the
whole. She gave me like thewhole pot, right, bro, I
eat some mark eating and she comingin. She's not here. What's going
on? You want to a drink? Oh? She looked at my boy,
she like, is he wasting theroom? But he's speaking in the
(35:45):
Spanish, So I don't understand.I don't know what's going on. I
don't know what's going on. Right, So he's like laughing, laughing at
me, and she gave me themean look. She never gave me the
look. Felt I felt like small. I felt a little it's like no,
(36:05):
dude, right and then and thenso she walked out the room.
He like, I told you youshouldn't have had took it because you can't
eat all that what you do.She was gonna give you a little plate.
You're skinny. She think you caneat a lot, right, but
it's all types of stuff that Idon't eat. I don't eat scallops.
I don't eat squids and squids.And then it's like all types. It's
(36:29):
all types of stuffing I don't eat. It's all types of hands and arms
and little it's crazy, crazy, right, but it was good. The
other stuff was I ate all theother stuff around. All of that's the
seafood seller. Yo. Broo,Bro, you can't do that. Bro.
You can't go to some light criband nah, you can't do that
(36:50):
anybody crib. Bro, you mightget slapped upside the head. Bro.
Luckily I was a neighbor, soshe didn't had to like you know what
I'm saying. She ain't she shewas mad at me. How did you
get up out the crib without eatingthat food though you gotta finish it was
crazy left the counter top. Ileft that thing on the countertop. Yeah,
yeah, you waited. She wentin the back, yep on the
(37:12):
countertop. And then my boy waslike, yo, you know, you
know my mom's as mad as you. Right, that's like what happened.
But I was trying to go overthere and get some lemonade. In a
couple of days later, like,I get some lemonade. She looked at
me like she's not getting nothing. You're going Yeah, that's what he said,
but I didn't know what she said. She said it's Spanish. So
(37:34):
now he laughed again. He laughedat me. He's like, yeah,
nah, she don't want He don'ttell me exactly. She ain't liking you,
like she's not feeling. You can'tgo on somebody house and be like,
nah, I'm not gonna eat this. Sorry for the rent, but
bro, that's dangerous. Bro,you could get you look Spanish, but
like you did get cut bro.Yeah yeah, y'all, might y'all be
(37:57):
it. They'd be having raisors andstuff in they pocket a little like not
so they could cut something nation.I'm Puerto Rican and Italian. Okay,
hey yo yo, way yea eventoo. You not go out of here.
Nobody believes you. You speak nospan Yola, none, nothing,
(38:22):
nothing. If I made a Spanishjoke, you wouldn't even know what I
mean what I said. I might, I might, I might, I
might. I'm not gonna lie.I'm a new Eurecan. Also, that's
something I've been looking to change.Yeah, for the business aspect that means
I'm like a New York Puerto Rican, Like I don't speak no, no,
no Spanish. You have to bethe same shows you got to come
(38:44):
on why why? I mean becausey'all supposed to know Spanish. I am
ashamed of that, yo. Thinkso if you want to keep talking about
food, I'll walk into bodega andthey'll literally start talking Spanish to me and
I'm just like, sorry, whatdo you? What do you say?
Let me get the ice and thebeans please? Yo. That's crazy that
(39:08):
that right there, And I feelthat because that's where I'd be feeling a
shame the most, just like Ican't even communicate with you. But now
I realize as a business owner,I'm just losing out on a whole other
lane, whole service, you knowwhat I'm saying, Like there's still a
lot of Spanish people don't have manystudios that have Spanish speaking engineers. That
(39:32):
Fat Joe was rare, Fat Joewas rare back in the day, right,
It wasn't No, it wasn't youright, you know, the the
translator of the hood. You knowhe's out there literally he could speak to
both and like that is mad powerfulin its own you know, white white,
(39:53):
white white here right, you know, I know what he was saying.
The major language is out here thoughit is my friendly brownk Spanish and
English. You know what I'm saying. So yeah, I mean so English
(40:14):
and I think English and most spendsjust one is I guess I think it's
the major language right in the worldright now? Is it? Am I
chatting? And my not too?You might have to look at my um,
look at this somebody else. Youever look at your phone right and
you get a text message? Thatjust crazy? You just look down at
(40:37):
your phone. Yeah you want tohear one? Yo? Look and I
just look, I just look downat my foot, was it? Yeah,
let's look at the diverse the first, Yeah, at the first,
like bleep, mother, believe mother, blie bleep, what you coming outside?
Bleep? I called me later,What the hell kind of shit was
(40:57):
that? Like, you got anyfriends that that communicate with you like that?
Like they just off the chains?Nah, I don't, I don't
know, got no riffraff. Ishould be pissed me off. I see
I see friends acting like that toeach other, and I'm like, gave
you a little bit, like nowI gotta get you away from me.
Nah, I just got me tight, like I used to literally fight anybody
(41:19):
that would just pick on people backin so well, no, I feel
you. I got into a lotof I got into a lot of fights
because I got into a lot offights. Just fight just because I'm light
skinning, lighting the knuckles, lightingthe knuckles. I was. You was
telling me a story the other dayaround the Bronx box. Nah me and
my boy Justice. That's what Irecall you saying yesterday. I'm the ping
(41:44):
pongs we used to go around onpoised to god that sound a little crazy,
but me and my boy Justice,we used to go around the Bronx
and um, we used to slapbox dude. So we should go over
to h with his um his auntused to live at and we would go
over there in slab box dudes, and they'd be outside right right, and
(42:06):
they'd be like, yo, man, they'd be starting trouble, start trouble.
But then my boy would be like, Yo, listen, man,
chill stop messing, my boy.You light skintting, right, would be
light skinning all the time, right, like chill slab boxing, And that's
weird. You know what I'm saying. I would get right with things.
You know what I'm saying. Cats, couple know what I'm saying. I'm
(42:29):
pretty good slap boxing. I gota funny text story. What the other
day, I'm sitting in the studioand where like literally like actively like in
a session working with people, andI just feel my phone buzz. I
look at my phone and it's literallya text message from a random number and
(42:52):
all it says his head question mark. And I'm just like head right,
So who's giving it? I'm sayingit. I'm like, wait a second,
Like I thought I was famous fora second. Is this how it
is? Mom? I made it. I got a text head question So
(43:15):
white yos like to be famous likeI was like what the hell like,
so I'm like, head, questionmark and then she goes, never mind,
and I'm like I was like allright, like random as hell,
Like four or five in the morning, she texts again. After that,
(43:36):
four or five in the morning, she texts again. She's like, you
up and obviously I'm already oh no, the first picture would have been megalo
and the second with you up,yes, and I wouldn't have to day
I'm lying, So I'm lying notthat that's so I was like, I
(44:00):
was like, who is this?Like the next day when I woke up
and she was like, I'm I'mI'm a shout her out Samantha from copeg
okayze, she said, I'm Samanthafrom co peg and then she said shaking
(44:22):
my head like sam And I'm justlike, she gets your number. I've
never met she. She just saidshe was at the studio line or your
personal line literally hit up the studiookay. So I'm like, like,
what is this? Like, amI better get like lined up or something.
(44:42):
I I'm sitting there and I'm like, bro, what is this?
I had a one night Daniel remembersome shit like, So I'm like,
this is a recording studio and likethis is how I know, Like this
is a real like girl. Likeshe was just like damn serious, like
she literally probably just got smoothed upby some guy the night before a number
(45:07):

I'll call you tomorrow. It wasfun. It's so specific number. That's
a specific number too. Who's shesaying you were? Was? What was
she calling you a different name? She wasn't calling me anything. She just
literally the first message was had questionmark m no contacts. I'm just like,
(45:28):

I thought it's me. I thoughtabout like because she was like she said
also, she was like like likehurry up, like my parents don't come
home until five. And I'm like, I'm like, should I just be
(46:13):
like sending a dress like now I'ma little leary now sending the hattie?
Like what like you know what I'msaying. Oh, that's what I'm saying
too. But most kids, youwould have you would have went, You
would have went twenty three, twentyfour. You know who would have showed
up? You know the guy fromABC you know, you know the guy
from ABC News. You would havewent, You showed up, and the

(46:55):
You brought her cracker Jack said Doritos, mad but I had that the funniest
thing that came out of that,my one little moment, you know,

if you Drake No, you heardher in his song he said, I
(47:19):

we're thinking of releasing. You know, we got a production studio for
all that too, right here. You know, he know we got a
production studio. You know, Idon't know we makes that. I don't
know if he knows. No,we make hoodies and hats too. Yeah,
you know that, right. Wetalk. We promote everything all the
(50:43):
time on what we're talking about.Emotion and marketing, motion in marketing.
You know what I'm saying, y'allcome over here, promote your business.
Promote dice UM. You're definitely goingto uh enjoy yourself here on the show.
You know, we definitely organic. We're probably one of the last couple
(51:05):
of organic shows that's on you know, the on the internet or even on
live TV, all the different platformsthat we are on. You know,
there's not many shows out of justyou know, organic they just come on
and they just say listen, we'regonna just have a conversation. Some people
really you know, like we wedefinitely do our research, right, but
(51:28):
we've we've been learning to um youknow, just you know, sitting talk
with the our client, our guess, and just you know, find out
some of the things they like.Just communicate it's not and not try to
come on here and say, allright, listen, I'm gonna have twenty
questions for this guy. It doesn'twork out like that. You feel me,
You don't work out like that. You know, you gotta be organic.
(51:51):
You gotta be able to keep itreal. You know, people gotta
be related to you. I'm saying, there's anything else you want to tell
the listeners out there, you knowwhat I'm saying. We got a little
over three minutes left. Yeah,we could find the studio, you know
what I'm saying, if they wantto book a session, first and foremost,
this is the first thing I shouldhave said. I messed up already,
Like the very first thing when wegot all this podcast. If you
(52:13):
ain't booking, you looking, allright, So that's the first thing I'm
gonna say. You ain't working, you looking, if you ain't booking,
you're looking. If you ain't booking, you look, you ain't booking.
You look. We don't like windowshoppers. We got we got a whole
(52:34):
lot of them. Over time theybecome people we like. You know,
well, you know they say theysay that if if if you advertise to
like a thousand people, you know, one hundred people, maybe two hundred
people will purchase. Yo. Isent out ten thousand flyers business cards.
Um right, you probably got likelike introductions coupons. Right, I got
(52:55):
like five hundred buys from ten thousand. You know what I'm saying. I
had one guy literally that was thatwas when I first opened the business.
One guy come literally like a weekago last week, and he blew my
mind when he told me that heheard about us through that thing he got
in the man. I was likewhat I was like, no way,
(53:20):
Like I haven't heard nobody saying that. Yeah. Well, you know what,
sometimes you know what it is.Sometimes you gotta just let things sim
up. Sometimes you know, yougotta let nature take It's cool. So
you you putting on I'm saying, that's work you put in. So I'm
saying you may reap the benefits fromthat work in days to come. You
know what I'm saying, Like thatthat's work you put in, righty.
(53:44):
For example, um like you knowwith the show here, like we just
we just was like all right, let's do it. We just jumped right
into it. We just say,you know, we're gonna do it.
We feel like we got some thingsthat we could talk about to the you
know what I'm saying, we gotsomething that we want to talk about to
the people, something that we feelthat other other you know, shows are
(54:08):
not really focusing on. They're notnow a lot of people, a lot
of businesses, a lot of uh, you know, they're just not focusing
on the small people. You knowwhat I'm saying that they focusing on only
the celebrities. And to keep makingthat strong getting stronger. Now, we
want to support the people that's stillyou know, the mediocre want to come
(54:28):
up to come up. It's likeyou it's like everybody, everybody that we
don't interview so so far, I'msaying, got potential to go great places.
You know what I'm saying, Right, you just gotta stay focused.
You can't give up, you knowwhat I'm saying, Like like, you
can't give up, you know.Yeah, it's a marathon, not a
race, right like yeah, likelike like your boy Nipsey says, So
(54:52):
it's got to stay focused. Andyeah, we definitely appreciate your time,
Um, Joey, We definitely appreciateyour time. Everybody out there who make
sure make sure y'all tap in worldwide. You know what I'm saying with this
music thing. Next, what we'retalking about, what we're talking about dot

we're talking about, show dot com. What we're talking about, show dot
com. What we're talking about, show dot com. Know what we are?
