Speaker 2 (00:36):
Well, hello and welcome everybody. Happy Friday night to you all.
It is indeed I Sam Crow along with a Big Hoss.
So what's happening in Big Hoss.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Much?

Speaker 2 (00:47):
It's not a whole lot And in case you guys
didn't notice this as has been pre recorded, so technically
at the time of this recording, it's not Friday. But
we are doing this for a very specific reason which
we're gonna actually talk about things. Actually, Number one, as
you're listening to this on Friday night, Big Hoss will
be in the midst of his little mini vacation which
we're gonna hang on surprise little triple ru that Hass

(01:13):
has taken. We're gonna talk about that in a little bit.
We'll have you share a little details if you want
to do that.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Well, Also, why don't. We want to get to talk
about my life.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Because we always talk about mind. People want to know
about you more than they want to know about me.
So I told you the two of us, who's more popular.
It's you. Matter of fact, I have a surprise actually
for Haus I'm gonna share with him later.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
But uh here now.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Well, okay, so we got an email. I mean, we'll
get to we'll get announcements to them. We got an
email from somebody who's wanted to reach out and see
about Uh they're interested in Europe and we gotta get more.
We're gonna work on getting more of your show for
Colorado Music and live streaming with Big has specifically was
mentioned possibility for I believe they said a sponsorship. Uh

(01:57):
oh yeah, So, like I said, we're gonna get more
episodes of that out soon. I have to read over
I just got they got back to about from the email.
I gotta look it over to and see. But we're
gonna get you back on the air. We gotta get
new episodes out. That's part of our plan to get
content out. So just make sure you start thinking to
some ideas because people are are begging for more of

(02:18):
the CML so CML and S actually, so we're gonna
work on that. So that's there. I'm gonna look over
a have a chance houfull of over sponsor Hawk I
think it is. I gotta look at it. I haven't
had a chance really in detail. I'm gonna check it out,
but I'll give you more info when I do that.
I probably I have been doing it over this weekend too,

(02:38):
but that's out there, which is really fun. So that's
available there too, So there you go.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
I can't do that show alone though.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Well no, what I was thinking is I can. We'll
run it. You can run it. I'll run like the system.
We'll just have you on here. We can do that.
That's fine. We gotta we gotta figure out for me anyway.
But that's part of what we're actually we're gonna talk
about next year because we want to go over some stuff.
But uh so before we do that, though, a couple
of quick announcements, which is gonna be kind of strange,

(03:06):
but I know we're gonna.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Do this too. At the time we're doing this.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
We're gonna see about possibly getting these in there. Well,
first of all, I can say, since it is Friday night,
it is a new pod Squad episode last night, so
check that out if you want. That's it. It'll be
available there as well. Now for the rest of this weekend,

(03:31):
we may or may not. At the time of this
it's still tentative this episode will only be the only
episode for the weekend. However, if it does change, we
might do it Saturday night. If our special guest Verka,
part of COVID is available, we will make sure that
we do an episode there, but still waiting on her,
so we'll see. But the theme for this episode is

(03:53):
which if you guys can believe it, I know it's
hard to believe. We're coming into the first week of fall.
Actually it's it's you know, today's it's Friday's September twentie
when you listen to this. Saturday twenty first is the
first day of fall, so big changes on the horizon there.
We can finally shift from summer to fall. And that's
the other big thing we're going to talk about here
to start things off. We were going to do this
later on, but I want to just address this now

(04:14):
because we don't want to. If you've been listening, we've
shared this, we talked about it. If you haven't been listening.
What are you guys waiting for? You're missing on such
great content. Check out the latest episodes available now. Linktree

(04:59):
But with that and we did share this so talking
about changes, which kind of fits poetically for this time.
And I know we wanted to do this later on,
but since the holidays are coming up, which incidentally starting
pretty soon about two weeks ish, we'll begin our Halloween
activity of episodes for the month of October coming up.
Really exciting, I know, right, super exciting. It kicks off

(05:24):
our holiday season as well as November we have Thanksgiving
theme and then of course Christmas and throughout December into
the New Year. Of course we celebrate New Year. So
we did share this, but we want to go over
this again a little bit here just to help start
to get you guys up to date.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
We need to attribute.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Hold on your froze there, go ahead, Yeah, yeah, you're good, okay,
go ahead. Oh yeah, yeah, that's right. Well, all right,
explained why that's right. Let's do that first. I forgot almost.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
That's the way. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Unfortunately, we found out a big boss went out the
other day. His friend that we mentioned to be talking
about with their thoughts and prayers did pass away. So
in honor of that, we're doing here. We haven't done
one of these in a while. Hopefully we don't have
to do it anymore for a while. But let's do
our our gun salute here. We'll actually do seven shots.
There's seven shots of glory there for that one. There's
the first one. That's two. That's three, that's four, that's five,

(06:30):
that's six, and last but not least, that's seven. There
we pay tribute to an honor for that we want
to we hate we don't like doing that. We absolutely
do not like doing that, but we like to pay
tribute to those closest to us. So an unloving memory
of can we can we share a name or do
you not want to share a name? We'll just call
her Jane just for like the Jane Doe there, so

(06:51):
an honor of Jane Doe in memory for her. So
there you go. So we shared this, We talked about this,
but if you relatively you here, a lot of you
guys are probably lately, we want to just give you
guys some updated information.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
Now.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
I'm gona try to keep we want to keep this
as simple as possible without going too far into it.
But we found out actually, and we found this out
from our good friend and partner at mister Jay there
the Sanitarium Show, which is now proudly part of us
here at JJ Production Studios Network, which we didn't know
this because we didn't get noticed right away. So the
main platform that we utilize Spreeker at speaker dot com,

(07:26):
which a lot of you guys probably have seen. They
are changing their formats. We found out probably about six
or seven months ago, right were pretty much right at
the beginning of this year. In fact, they have notified
all of their their podcasters, users, people that do different
things on here. They are changing the platform. They are
no longer supporting the live feature of podcasting here. Now

(07:48):
that's the last we heard. We haven't heard anything more
to contradict that. We are still anticipating that's what's going
to happen. What does that mean? That just basically means that,
like we're doing now, we're gonna be re arding episodes here.
We will no longer be able to go live on
this platform like we typically do on our regular weeknights,
our weekend nights. But we have a pluthora of options

(08:09):
we can do Number one if it does in fact happen,
which again we've heard nothing since then, so I don't
know if anything has changed. We're still planning as if
it's not. We are still able to go live now,
we will continue to do so until the end of
the year. A last update we had was as of
December thirty. First of this year is when the entire
format is no longer even available to utilize on the
software itself. So beginning of twenty twenty five, the new year,

(08:32):
we will be changing the platform entirely, but we're still
going to utilize Spreaker. We're gonna update episodes there. We
might even just use our same time slot and published
episodes right away. We might do at different times and
upload them at our normal timeslot when you guys are
familiar with episodes being there, and we might utilize other options,
one of which is stream yard. We're considering that something
that we use at the Pod Squad. You guys, if

(08:54):
you've seen the episode there, you know mister Jay actually
said he last I talked to him, had another possible
that he'd like us to incorporate once he gets situated there,
which hopefully we'll have some more episodes coming out soon
for you guys check out the Sanitarium show. So all
kinds of these things and more. Big Austin and are
gonna have sort of a staff or business meeting towards

(09:15):
closer to the end of this year to kind of
discuss our options and see what's gonna happen. But for
the time being, we're gonna continue on as we've been.
When we can go live, we will, and we're gonna
keep putting out content. So it's not a huge devastating
thing because a lot of times we don't get too
many live plays. We typically get people that were more

(09:35):
interested in episodes when they when they post. Now the
live feature also is nice, so that's why we might
what we might do is utilize more episodes by recording
with Spreaker, but we might also utilize things like streamyard
or other options where we can actually go live, especially
in the event if we have more special guests, which
we're hoping to do. It's always a nice feature there.
So but that is that's what basically is the summerration

(10:01):
of it all. And again we still have we are
still kind of figuring things through and we're just because
we're thinking about it more because we're quickly approaching end
of the year, if you can believe it, as we said,
almost October already. So we'll keep you guys posted. We're
gonna figure out some stuff and we're going to see
what we can do. But we just see this as

(10:22):
an opportunity for more growth. It's you it's a bummer
in some regard, but we can still utilize the platform.
It's still a great platform. We love it. We've been
here now going on three years. We're going to our
third year of big hosts if you can believe it now.
So we do appreciate that. We love the support there.
This is a great platform. We highly recommend. It's just
everything's changed, and you guys see it in our generation,

(10:43):
our culture, there's so many changes happening and this shouldn't
be surprising. But we survive, we adapt, and we figure
out other alternatives too, which is what we're gonna work on.
But so that's a general idea of what we're looking at. Again,
we will keep you guys posted with more details as
they come. We'll be sharing us again closer to the
end of the year, but figure now is a good

(11:04):
time to give you the heads up there if you
weren't familiar with it already, especially I don't want to
put a dampen on the holidays because the holidays should
be fun times. So there is that. But so yeah,
well we'll see how it goes. But again, it's just opportunities.
We see it. As one door closes, as another door opens.
It's just an opportunity where we can spread out and
do a whole bunch more So, not necessarily a great thing,

(11:27):
but it's not necessarily a bad thing either. So we
hope that you guys will indulge us, and we hope
that you will continue to listen there and again, we
are going to afford you with as many opportunities and
as many different platforms as we possibly can to do so,
so if you're not, we are working hard to to

(11:50):
get that going for you. So let's see. Other than that,
I think that's all we can really say for that.
So let's actually and now again you don't have to
go into much details, so they gonna share with the
folks there, just just the highlight. You don't have to
get too specific. You're going on a little family trip, right,
It's a family little vacation thing, right, So tell the

(12:12):
folks where are you going, what are you doing? What's happening?

Speaker 4 (12:14):
As much as you want to it's going to Texas?

Speaker 2 (12:17):
For what purpose? There you go and you're gonna be
going what just through the weekend? Yeah, okay, so we
hope you'll having a good time there. It's been nice
the first.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
Time Thursday, I'll be gone on Monday.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Nice. Now, this is the first time you've seen family
and how long? Right?

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Which is about.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Because they've not been up since they were I think
last time they were up right, but that was a
while ago.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
It was Christmas.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Yeah, I was gonna say, it feels like it's been
a while now his grandma going to or is it
just you and your mom?

Speaker 4 (12:53):
My? Mom?

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Okay, well that's a good trip. That's always a little
fun bonding time there. So think about costs. Will wish
for safe travels obviously I know at this point you'll
be there, but hopefully as safe trip down, a safe
trip back, and a wonderful time. Of course, there's always
the basis of it all. So that's awesome. Yeah, you know, guys,
it's really season of change.

Speaker 7 (13:14):
Now.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
We've we talked about a little bit. We keep saying it,
but this year has really flown by. And we said
it early on, like you don't understand the magnitude of
how much of an impact it has or can have.
But it's really incredible when you just see how much

(13:36):
things change developed, not always good, not always bad. Like
I said, we've had a lot of growth this year.
We've had a tremendous year. I will say I was
genuinely uncertain of what our year would look like, but
I definitely would say and I'm not sure big costs
will probably agree to We definitely surpassed our goals this year,
we surpassed last year, and we're looking forward to more

(13:59):
growth for next So it can only go up disguise
the limit there, but you know, when you reflect on it,
and as we often do, and you know, we we've
had a lot of great tips and feedback, especially from
the guests that we've had on the show, people that
we talked to, you know, just opportunities to really see

(14:20):
how things turn out. Yea. But and again this is
the thing. I equate this too. We've talked about this
and Big Hawks knows this because we were there too.
But at the beginning of the whole thing, you know,
we had opportunities where you know, we knew we wanted
to do this project. We're trying to be a huge

(14:42):
project actually, and you know, we went into it and
we we put our efforts into it. We made it
what it was. We didn't know what it was going
to become. And you know, here we are how much
growth we've had, like three years almost going into year three.
Never would have thought we would have had this much
growth or we will be where we were at. But
it just goes to show you that, you know, the

(15:04):
possibilities are endless and look what we've accomplished too. Not
only have we had great mentorship for Mister Jay and
their show at the Sanitarium show, which we're glad to
have here. Hopefully we'll get them back soon. I know
mister Jay's been really busy, so hopefully we'll work that
out there. But between that, between our connections with our
good friends Deni at Vigilantes Radio and connecting with Pod
Squad and getting some connections there, we've had a lot

(15:27):
of growth from that. We've had tremendous, tremendous growth since
having our special guests of late that we've had on
the show, which has been phenomenal and we love you
guys for that. We're so glad that you guys are
supporting us there. You know, we love that. And again
we're all trying to be supportive of one another, like
we're doing with the Sellar Dwellers, with Mickey and the Doom,

(15:48):
you know, with the Orange Moon Project. We're trying to
get people in that we can that we can help
grow all together there. But we've seen the benefits from that.
We've seen the uh of how working together really does
accomplish that those are topics that's been talked about and
could we have done it continuously on our own. I'm

(16:09):
sure we absolutely could. But the idea that you have
the help and again, when one succeeds, we all succeed.
I think that's really true. I mean, think about it.
Let's go back. Even for big hosts, now we said
this too. You had started really podcasting before even I
started podcasting, right yea. And so when you did that

(16:30):
in the beginning, what what did you find like challenging
and difficult because obviously you had you tried it, it didn't
work for a bit, and then you didn't do it
for a bit. What was really the challenge that you
found when you attempted that? And I don't know much
about because.

Speaker 8 (16:42):
I was.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
To make it, and then like you also had like thinking,
you know, coming up with themes and uh, you know,
just it's it is. It's tricky, you know. And that's
why even for me, like I had said, I thought
about doing the podcast, but I didn't know if I
could do on myself. So that's what I'm a big hoss.
And I talked about it. And again the idea was

(17:07):
just the one show. Now we have with the newest
show added. We have ten shows we boast here. We
have basically created our own network there, which is incredible,
you know, And again there was never the intent. We
didn't know what it was going to become. We had
some ideas, we threw things around, but sometimes things just
naturally happen. And I will say I appreciate the compliments

(17:28):
from people that have told me, you know, we do
very well here. It seems like we're built for this.
I feel like it's the same. I'm sure Big Hoss
probably agrees to with that. You know. It's just it's
funny how that works out like that. But when you
see that, it's encouraging and you know that anything is
really possible if you put the effort in. Doesn't mean

(17:48):
everything is always guaranteed, but at least you know that
there's potential there. So that's really the whole thing we've
learned throughout all of this. But you know, in this
crazy world that we live in, you know, and anymore,
it's we just don't know what's gonna happen, Let's be honest,

(18:11):
because you know, the world just continues to shock and
surprise us. We've seen good changes, we've seen bad changes.
And again, I know that sound like I'm really old,
which I'm not, but I've been around for a little bit.
It's really really just interesting to see how things develop
and things change when you're you're accustomed to or you're

(18:35):
used to something for such a long time. Like I
think I shared it. I'm not sure if I shared it,
but one of the staples I had, which I don't
know if Big Hass knows this there too, but I
know you didn't get it. I know you're familiar with
game Stop the gaming game story, right, Yeah, so you
know how they have the Game Informer, the game magazine, right.
They actually they actually just shut after thirty three years.

(18:57):
They just discontinued it. They shut it down, which was
a huge surprise because I know there's some issues. I
know that there was some there was some trouble there.
I know game Stop is having some issues, but I
did not expect for the magazine. That really was probably

(19:18):
their biggest staple that kept them going. But it's those
kind of those major changes that you can see how
much sometimes life can be can be tricky, and things
just for one one reason or another, they just happen
and you can't you can't you just you just can't
anticipate that, you know. And I say this with sheer surprise,

(19:43):
because like you know, growing up and you know big
cost to you know, you grew up and it was
different when you were younger. But seeing all these things happen,
like it's just it's mind boggling in all honesty. So
you know, every year we joke about it, like now
the seasons change, which they do. It's just it's natural
law and order every year, but life changes with it,
and when that changes, it just makes things so interesting.

(20:07):
I guess is the probably the best way I can
put it. There's a lot of ways we could say it,
but even like in our experiences like the last year alone,
like how many things have we discovered? And you know
we've been this has been a year, I gotta say,
Like now with the unfortunate mention with Big Hoss, with
your friend there too, like my friend passed this year.

(20:28):
I actually had two friends that passed technically this year. Uh,
it was it was just something that you know, I
think this this is definitely a year we could I
really want to forget. I guess that's fair to say,
because you know, it's just I'm not saying it's been
all bad, but little things like this don't make it
particularly enjoyable. And it's not exactly something that we want

(20:54):
to necessarily remember there. But you know, life does happen,
and sometimes you know, we say it too, we have
to we have to adjust, we have to survive, adapt,
we have to roll with it. But you know it,
it's definitely it's a wake up call for that because

(21:17):
you get into these patterns, you get into these routines,
and we are I'm a creature of having I'm sure
a lot of you guys are too. But uh, it's
just some things you just don't anticipate or expect there,
and it's a huge change. But and obviously then we
joke about this a big hoss but for me too,
we're getting older, you know, obviously I'm a little older

(21:38):
than Big Hosses, but he's getting there.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Actually, this is gonna be a milestone birthday for you,
which again that's the other reminder we forgot to mention,
make sure you guys tune in. This is really a
truly unique year because we had a birthday bash for
me on my birthday because the episode fell on the
weekend of my birthday, actual birthday. We're gonna do this
for Big Hoss because his birthday falls on a weekend,
which is gonna be amazing. Make sure you guys tune

(22:02):
in for that. But it's of course, as always, as
long as you're free and you you know, we don't
have any plans or the family doesn't have any plans,
that's what we're gonna shoot for. But you know it,
a lot of things can be gathered, a lot of
things can be learned, and I always say to try

(22:22):
to take it in a positive light. You know, I
could say I have so many things to be disgruntled
about or upset about this year, you know, as like
even for Big Hosts too, a lot of things happened
that we are not anticipating or we want to happen.
But you know, you just kind of you just kind
of learned to to move on with that and to

(22:46):
try and make the most out of it. You are
right there, Yeah, Okay, just make sure you're not dying
on us. We'll call yeah, and that's one on the
air if we have to. But even though at this
point in time we weren't live, so but we have
to stop the sh just so you guys know, but anyway,
but yeah, so yeah, it's it's as you get older,

(23:07):
you guys will learn, especially if you're younger listeners, you
will realize quickly. And again, everybody's got different journeys, everybody
has different viewpoints and things that we go through. But
just try to take things to stride, try to just
try to make sure that you know, we you learn,

(23:28):
obviously learn something from It doesn't mean we're gonna get
everything right, but so yeah, so there you go. But
with the seasons changing, now we're coming into fall. The
weather doesn't feel like it yet overnight it does. It
is getting it is cooler overnight, but we are gonna

(23:49):
see some changes pretty soon, which again a lot of
people love this time of the year. I I do
love it. I'm not like in love with it where
I prefer the warm weather myself, but I get it.
You know, it's obviously has it has its perks, so

(24:11):
you know, and again we if you're if you're fortunate
enough to live in an area where the seasons do change,
you get a unique experience every season. But some people don't,
and some people try to, uh, you know, have different

(24:32):
things happen, different things going on. There so, but you know,
we we just we we don't make the most of it.
Now we're really excited for the holidays, of course, I'm
sure a lot of folks are. I mean, it's harvest time,
my biggest binge, which I haven't done yet. I've seen
it at the store. I'm gonna have to get it
one day. It's apple cider time, for sure. A lot
of people say it's pumpkin spice time, which that's fine

(24:54):
and dandy, but it's definitely time for some cider which
love Apple Slayer, it's fantastic, which actually I don't know.
How do you feel about big haws? What do you
like about the fall? Do you like fall time?

Speaker 4 (25:07):
Is this a good time a year for you?

Speaker 2 (25:10):
What's your favorite thing about fault? What's your favorite? Yeah?
What about your favorite foods or snacks like you like
for the fall? Anything? Change for that?

Speaker 4 (25:21):
Cocoa?

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Yeah, there you go, cocoa. There you go. See, I'm
not really a pumpkin spice kind of guy, so I
prefer the cocoa myself. Nothing against those of you who are,
but you know, it's it's just, uh, you know, you
have to kind of be in the mood for it,
which is fine. Oh and I did forget. I wanted
to mention this at the time of this too. That
was the announcement. I knew its forgetting something there we

(25:43):
are going to be doing at this time of this,
I will have finally seen it broke down going to
the movies, gonna see Deadpool and Wolverine. Actually, so we're
gonna talk about that. We'll do it in depth. I
did promise you guys, we wanted to do that, but
we wanted to wait until we actually saw it. So
they're like a two harder for that. The second part
to that, Just so you guys are aware, I want
to throw that out there, so extra surprise there. I

(26:05):
should have done our little mystery thing. Where is it?
We haven't done this in a while, so stay tuned
for that that I'll come up. But anyway, so yeah,
the cocoa is great holiday time, especially Christmas time in
the winter months. Now, I'm not a diehard lover of
the cold, cold air. At the same thing, like with
the snow, I could really do without a lot of snow,

(26:27):
but I do like the little snow at Christmas. Obviously
you gotta have it. It's just it's a it's as
traditional as apple pie or pumpkin pie this time of year,
although technically that's the thing too. They're actually both kind
of fit, which is weird. I guess you really can't
go wrong either way. And apparently at this time my
printer is doing something. I'm not printing anything weird. I

(26:49):
guess Halloween's starting early here. I'm not sure if my
printer is possessed. What is it doing here? Okay, anyway,
if I in terror for a minute, just know that
big Hoss is on his own to run this because
I don't know what's gonna happen here. Uh yeah, so okay,
it stopped. Make sure I gotta get the holy water out. Yeah,

(27:15):
that was the weirdest thing. I've ever seen that before.
And that just totally threw me off where it was,
oh season change. Yeah, so you know, And again I
don't know, maybe it's cause I'm getting older. I'm just
not a super fun and fancy of the whole winter
time because and it's cold, it's snowy, and then you know,

(27:37):
it's a kid, you play in the snow, but then
you're older, you gotta play and you gotta shovel it.
It's just the whole thing. I don't know, but maybe
it's just maybe it's getting old. I know it's probably
the right of passes there, but at any rate, I
definitely need to get a drink here myself. So why
don't we take a short break there a Big Hoss,
you can grab a quick break there. We'll come back
for more there, you guys, Happy Friday night for everybody.

(27:58):
Hopefully everybody's had a great week and enjoying the weekend entertainment. Again,
this is probably gonna be the only episode unless something changes,
will post for you guys, and we're doing this too
because we want to make sure Big Hoss can be
here so that he doesn't miss out because he is
currently on his kind of vacation. But of course also too,
we will be back next weekend for more, and stay tuned.
If you guys have been noticing we have been putting

(28:19):
up new episodes there for the other shows. We're going
to continue to try to do that as well, so
make sure you keep eyes and ears open. We're gonna
make sure that we get you guys up to date
with the latest there, and of course you can do
that by following us on social media or if you
don't have that, you can do it on our link
tree or on our website. Sign up for email alerts.

(28:40):
It does. Emails do go out when we get new
episodes coming out, which is really important. Announcements probably not
so much, but usually they're episode related, So if you
at least have the episode when it comes out, that's
what really counts. So either way your cover. But if
you want to sign up for that as well, you
can do that. You guys can get notified everything that's
happening here and so much more. So, go use the

(29:00):
bathroom break. Take us as a bathroom break. Go use
the restroom, get yourself agether snack or get yourself a
comfy pillow, a blanket, whatever you wanna do, or just
pause this if you wish. We're gonna play some music
though we're actually gonna play some music courtesy of our
good friends Mickey from Mickey and the Doom. We might
actually place our song from our friends the Cellar Dwellers,
trying to get them out there, trying to broadcast and
advertise for them. We appreciate them being here, looking forward

(29:21):
to them coming back in the future and wishing them well,
and make sure you check it out. We'll have the
links for those guys as well. You can follow them
on their socials and get all the latest from them
and what's happening there. So stick around for more of
you guys. Stay tuned. We got plenty more coming up
here at the What's Up Bro Podcast Show, brought to you,

are others out there, but nobody like us Jay and

All right, all right, welcome back everybody, Thanks so much
for hanging out there. You're listening to this episode of

by the one and only Jay and J Production Studios.
You're one true home for entertainment. It is Friday night.
This episode was pre recorded, so it was not recorded
on Friday night. But when you by the time you
listen to this, it is Friday night, So happy weekend.

(43:43):
One in all, So glad you guys are hanging out
with us. We love it so much. We have grown
so much our community and I don't want to necessarily
say fan base there, but we appreciate you guys. We
love you so much and we couldn't do this without you. Things. See,
we're getting big hoss back in here now, so there

(44:06):
we go. But you know, it's been it's been a ride,
you guys. This is is going into year three. We
said this a little bit ago before the break. I mean,
we have hit so many important milestones. Uh sorry, I'm
multitasking currently at this time, We've hit so many milestones.

(44:29):
We have so many more to go. I'm really excited.
We're always excited every year, we say all the time,
but it really is true because the I don't know,
I'm afraid anymore because I don't want us to keep
raising the bar so much. But we've just had such
a such a slew of of success. I call it that.

(44:52):
And again, not everybody agrees with that let's see a
big hoss degrees. What do you think big loss? Are
is just saying how it's hard to set the bar
for us because we we have such a we've had
such a slew of success this year. I mean it's
been a it's been fantastic. I mean even for the
two years we've two and a half years now, we've
kind of done this. So we'll see what twenty twenty
five brings us. One only knows. We're we're gonna again.

Speaker 4 (45:15):
Change what's that that sponsorship?

Speaker 2 (45:20):
Yeah, I mean again, I'm still feeling that out. We'll
see if it's anything really good or if it's we've
had some you know, like fish and stuff out there. Nothing,
but we'll look at it. It's possible. We do have
potential growth coming in again, we're getting noticed. That's the
key thing, clearly. So either way, it's a good thing.

(45:41):
But yeah, I mean, uh, it's it's it's it's just
it's incredible, it's amazing. Hang on, I'm working on a
couple of things here, So forgive me if I seem
a little distracted there, So give us what so big possible?
We've asked this, but all the folks like since we

(46:01):
did these shows and things have been going. What have
your thoughts been since we've done this, Like, has this
really like has it gone the way you hoped for?
Were you thinking something else?

Speaker 10 (46:10):
Like?

Speaker 2 (46:12):
Right, what do you what? Did you think the most
that we would get out of this would be?

Speaker 4 (46:15):
Like just off the top of your head, like, I
don't think we were going to get much.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
See that's my sentiment too. Uh let's see and uh,
let's see, I'm thinking, uh yeah no. And it's funny
because one of the examples of that, and I use

(46:42):
that because that was our huge staple this year, which
I'm sure you probably would agree to, was the website
we talked about one we talked about that was something
that we wanted to incorporate, but really it didn't really
manifest well because it couldn't find anybody really who was
willing to give every thing we're hoping for. And then

(47:02):
we were approached by some folks there from on Podium,
which we love it. The website came out great. They
designed that for us, We took it over and just
personalized it and we actually have since it's just in
case you're wondering, now, let me pull this up. Actually
since the now. The website has only been up since
let's see, what are we in the online since the

(47:23):
end of March this year, so that's what maybe six
months April May janels about almost six months now. In
that time, in that six month gap period, in that time,
we are at as far as all time users for
the site who've been on here, We've had one hundred

(47:46):
and thirty users. We've had two hundred and seventy four
people viewed, and we actually have an email subscriber, our
very first email subscriber too, which is phenomenal. So it's
you know, it's just things happen quickly. But no, I
agree with you too. I figured if anything else, it
would just be something for us to do. We hang

(48:08):
out on the weekend, and again if it was just
a couple of people listening, it was just family or
friends whatever. Like even even now, I mean again, we
don't We're hoping maybe one day this will be have
a nice side gig. We get some money, and we
got actually paid. The pay scale is gonna be a
little bit more actually coming up in a couple of
months there. So we have actually hit the bar pretty high.

(48:31):
A matter of fact, we might depending on the way
the stats go, we might actually double our monetary input
for the next payment, if you can believe that. So
we're getting there, but you know it just again it
goes to show that and I've shared this on pot Squad,
we talked about it. It really is actually once second,

(48:57):
let me think, h I'm sorry, I'm doing a couple
of things here. Like I said, it's it's been one
of those days anyway. But do do do that? You
you know, you start on an adventure which has been

(49:18):
you you have goals like we've had, and.

Speaker 10 (49:37):
You with.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
You know, think about uh you you think about ideally
where you want to be, but you kind of don't
you know, you don't know that now.

Speaker 1 (49:55):
I did that.

Speaker 2 (49:55):
I shared my journey. I'll share a little deeper because
we've had a lot of bands on here. I tried
that with me music. I love my time doing music.
I love doing music, love playing it. It just didn't
pan out like I had hoped, but it led to
something else. The podcasting seemed to be a thing which
I honestly when we started that, I didn't know if
this was gonna be something I could do or you know,

(50:16):
like I said, for Big Hoss and I vow, we
didn't know. We weren't sure what was gonna happen. We
you know, obviously, again he's been there, he's done that before,
so he's actually a bit more season than I was.
But we do agree that who And I like what
Big Hoss says is who's definitely the face of the.

Speaker 4 (50:35):
Who is it?

Speaker 2 (50:35):
Who's the face here? Come on? Yeah, you could say
even But here's the fun part though, even though on
the face he's the one that gets the recognition there
and is the one that's getting offers coming in and
all this stuff, like what the hell I mean, you know,
it's a group team effort here. But still no, it's

(50:55):
great because it benefits all of us. So I'm not
jealous of that whatsoever. And I I'm just I haven't
been recognized. I just want to be recognized out in
public at least one time. I haven't had that yet, I.

Speaker 4 (51:06):
Mean now.

Speaker 2 (51:08):
Exactly and pretty the only thing you haven't had is
your own stalker, which I don't envy you for that.
I don't want that, but I would love to have
somebody that people that don't know me, that would hey,
you know what it is, the weekend coming up you're
on vacation, so you know what happens.

Speaker 4 (51:28):
In tea and I see I'm like, oh, fin.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
It's gonna be great. Though, there's a story there. I'm
sure no, no, yeah, yeah, okay, Well you're you're gonna
have quite the weekend. You're you're a man of the world.
You're getting noticed, you're traveling, you're you know, I don't know.

(51:56):
I might be the face, but he might be alone.
With the big contract coming up first lot to see,
but we do split the proceeds fifty to fifty either way,
just so we're clear, So you know, that's part for
the course there, Just just so we're clear.

Speaker 4 (52:09):
I was just talking about we got it. We got
an email that I could possibly get a sponsorship.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
There's some Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what it is.
I'm going to look into it and see, but based
on what I'm like, yeah, it's interesting, it's interesting.

Speaker 4 (52:22):
So who is it dressed too?

Speaker 2 (52:25):
Uh, it's a It's it's an email, but it specifically
mentions Colorado music and live streaming, which is your podcast.
So that's what I'm saying, Like here, I'll read it
to you. Actually, since I didn't read the email, pull
I'll pull up the original email. Let's see here it is.
So the email is from I'm not sure if you

(52:45):
say yakub or Jacob green Field uh email at podcontacts
dot com.

Speaker 10 (52:54):
U.

Speaker 2 (52:55):
It says, hey, yo, big hoss, loving the summer vibes
and can't wait to jam out to your awesome tunes.
Reaching out because I built a tool that handles a
lot of the hard work when it comes to securing sponsorships.
It locates all rell of the decision makers on companies
that regularly sponsor podcasts. You can get you then you
can then get in touch with them with it just
a click and offer your sponsorship opportunities.

Speaker 4 (53:18):
So there you go.

Speaker 2 (53:19):
Sponsor Hawks, Jacob Greenfeld's founder at sponsor hawk dot com. Oh,
you never know. I mean again, we've had We've had
those that are not I'm gonna look into it. Yeah,
I mean again, I can't say for certain how legit,

(53:41):
but it's an interesting prospect. But you never know, because
we've had we do get a lot of spam obviously,
but based on this and what I'm seeing, I'm actually
gonna look because he sent a video of how to
do it too, so I can look at that later,
but I might actually check out the website too, just
to see. But it's the same thing with on Podium
with the website builder, which we had other people that

(54:02):
offered that, but I could tell right away it wasn't
legit there. But this one actually with the on Podium
to build the website, that one actually surprisingly panned out.
So point being is it is a very realistic possibility
that this could be something legit. And it starts with that.
We could probably get the other show's sponsored too, which
would be awesome because we could get a paid sponsorship

(54:23):
to run during shows that would be even better. That's
actually a goal that we can set there too. Now
I don't know short term or long term, but it
could happen. You know, Stranger things do happen, And again
we've gotten further than we thought, so we'll have to
see how that pans out. But yeah, good things that
happen and when you really work at it. So this
just goes to show your kiddies at home put your

(54:44):
best effort forward. You never know what will happen. Dreams
do come true, but there you go and.

Speaker 4 (54:51):
There you have it.

Speaker 1 (54:54):
So we'll see.

Speaker 2 (54:56):
But of course it always goes to the guy who's
not as active a doesn't do as much. But hey,
you know what, I'm not. I'm not one to grip
to gripe about it, so you know it's it's we
share it. Because again he knows the contract designer. It's
fifty to fifty, so even if he benefits, I get
fifty percent of the proceeds for that too. So if
you didn't read the contract, you already signed it, so
too bad. They're a big boy. I have the I

(55:18):
have the hard copy of that, so it's it's it's signed,
sealed and delivered. So you go ahead and cash out
because I can benefit either way. No, I'm just kidding.
But but what's mine is yours and what's yours is mind.
So if I get benefit, you get benefit of that too,
so we both win.

Speaker 4 (55:35):
So we're not like comppeting off.

Speaker 2 (55:37):
You know.

Speaker 4 (55:37):
Well you decided fifty fifty.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
So everybody wins. So that's how that works. Yep. But
it would be awesome if this is a step to
stepping stone to something else, this would really make our year.
I mean, this is probably I don't know if it
could get much better, honestly, but national syndication, well maybe
if we had a national syndication. We'll be set for life.
You could retire tomorrow. Uh, but let's not get too

(56:01):
ahead of ourselves. So you know, think big, but don't.

Speaker 4 (56:05):
He's already retired.

Speaker 2 (56:07):
The he.

Speaker 4 (56:10):
Who's retired, it be said, already said, I'm I'm already retired.

Speaker 2 (56:17):
Oh she said, retired. Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, okay, retired
from what exactly?

Speaker 4 (56:25):
Retired?

Speaker 2 (56:27):
Yeah from what?

Speaker 1 (56:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (56:31):
Yeah, that's I mean, you gotta retire from Okay, wow, yeah, okay,
it's you can you can tell. The seasons are definitely changing.
We're getting into that that it's gonna be a fantastic,
fantabular holiday season coming up this year for you guys.
But so yeah, but hopefully you guys again are having

(56:55):
a phenomenal great weekend there. We're glad we can provide
this entertainment for you guys. If you are wishing Big
Hoss well on your trip, hope that's everything you want
and more, and we look forward to your safe return.
When you guys come back, make sure you send us
a postcard, not literally, but tell us all about it
when you come back. Okay, you promise, Okay, we'll twist

(57:16):
his arm we'll give him a titty twister. He'll tell
us everything we can do. Don't worry. Well, we just
want to know if you had a good time. You
can give us that much, right, you'll tell us that
when you come back. Okay, So, but for you guys
to remember, we'll keep you posting if we have another episode.
But again, it's up to the guest. We'll see where
she's at. So stay tuned, keep an eye out for

(57:38):
on social media. We'll post you updates when that happens
as well. But hello, fall, it is official as of tomorrow,
which will be Saturday, September twenty first, is the first
official day of fall. We have arrived. Goodbye summer. It's
been nice knowing yet we're still gonna enjoy some of
the warmth yet, but we move forward. The leaves are changing,
falling from the trees. It'll be Christmas before we note, folks,

(58:00):
we said wait till it comes up. We just started
the year. Here we are almost in the end of it.
See how time flies, I'm telling you, but I digress.
It's what it is. But we hope you guys had
a great week and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
More great content will come, so Big Hoss, even though
you're on vacation, tell everybody you'll have a good time.
You'll see everybody soon and do your best wishes and
so forth.

Speaker 4 (58:19):
Go ahead, see you guys soon.

Speaker 2 (58:23):
Yep, he'll be back. And again. If you're at partying
this weekend. What's the most important thing to.

Speaker 4 (58:27):
Remember If you're gonna drink, don't drive.

Speaker 2 (58:29):
If you do drink, there you go. You heard it
here for JJ Production Studios. That's our big message. You
don't want to miss it. Well, Big Hoss, I will
see your brother happy trails again. Obviously, this is great
before the episode launch. You're already on vacation, but I
want to say my well wishes now. Will be in
touch there, let us know best wishes to the family.

(58:50):
Of course, say hello to everybody, and then we'll see
you when you come back.

Speaker 4 (58:53):
Okay, okay, all right, dude, have a good one.

Speaker 2 (58:57):
We'll talk soon. You guys, have a great weekend. We'll
be back for plenty more at the What's Up Bro
Podcast show, always bringing to you, guys, the best entertainment
possible that you so richly deserve. It's gonna be great.
We're gonna finish the year out with a bang. We'll
see what happens. We are working tirelessly to provide this
content for you, guys, and so much more, and of

(59:19):
course if you get a subscription on Patreon, there even
more exclusive content. We don't have anybody yet and it's
fine and you don't have to. But just a shameless plug,
just saying more content. You know what could be better
than that? More surprises in store than you, guys, have
a good one. We will see you very very soon.
We love you guys so much. Of course, we always
appreciate the support. Good night and goodbye for now. Hopefully

(59:41):
we'll see you again soon. If we don't see you
on tomorrow night, then we will be back next weekend.
But of course you guys know and as always, we
will be back soon and we hope to see each
and every one of you guys when we do at
the show. Happy weekend, you guys, see you soon. Take
care and have a great weekend. We'll see you next time.
