(00:00):
Welcome back to episode number two of With All Sincerity
(00:04):
It's Mr. Sincere
Let's go.
All right.
I wanted to start off talking about the NBA playoffs real quick.
They've been very entertaining.
I've been enjoying them very much.
I see we got the final four teams now.
We got T-wolves against the Mavericks.
Mavericks are looking really good.
(00:25):
T-wolves so far not looking too hot right now.
I know Ant-Man is looking pretty tired.
Yeah, he is young.
he's strong.
He's going to be a star.
But this is his first real playoff experience in this.
He's in the playoffs and he's been playing like 40 minutes per game.
(00:51):
it takes a toll on you and then he was pretty tired chasing around Kyrie Irving.
That's a task in itself.
And then Chris Paul chimed in on that saying that he was chasing around a Stephen Curry.
Those are two guys who are excellent with the ball and moving without the ball.
(01:12):
That's a full load for you all night.
He's shooting 29.8% in this last three games.
That's a worse three game.
Stretch of his career.
Overleague a bounce back.
They can see what the T-wolves can make in this series.
Interesting.
I know that last game they lost when the game went by Luka.
(01:33):
That probably really hurt them.
There is no problem.
I know it.
They were winning and then they blew the lead and then he hit the game with it.
So hopefully they can bounce back.
So far the Pacers and the Celtics.
The Celtics is like they're doing what everybody thought they'd probably do this year anyway.
(01:56):
The 3-0 now.
No team in NBA history has come back from a 3-0 deficit.
You've seen teams come back from three one but not 3-O.
So we'll see what happens.
It looks like the Celtics pretty much got that in the bag.
I mean, we'll see anything that happened.
But I was hurt when the Pacers beat the Knicks.
(02:19):
The Knicks.
Even though I'm from Buffalo, I live here in Buffalo.
And it was really nice to see them resurge.
You know, nice resurgence for them.
But well, Brunson got that broken hand.
It was a they were already banged up with other players.
So hopefully those guys come back next year.
(02:45):
In the face of doing pretty good.
But I mean, they were doing pretty good.
But when they lost a Haliburton.
That was pretty much it was pretty much a wrap.
They tried and they were actually winning the game by like 18 or something.
And the second or third quarter from that.
And then they blew their lead and then the Celtics took that.
And out of the 3-O.
(03:06):
So we'll see how it all turns out who will be the NBA champion this year.
But off that now.
I'm going to talk about this briefly.
I didn't want to spend too much time on this because it's ridiculous.
I'm just going to talk about this.
(03:27):
Who was surprised?
It's like really, who was surprised that he did what he did.
Who was surprised?
If you watch this show with him in Ma$e
All they do is pretty much be characters.
(03:49):
I'm not into the show at all.
I think the show is wack.
Sorry.
I made anybody upset about that.
But I mean, shout out to them for getting the deal and getting their money.
But no, it's not my cup of tea.
(04:10):
But what he did to that young lady,
sorry, her name escapes me right now.
But it was discussed, absolutely discussed.
He's basically being a stereotype.
And on live TV, the negative stereotype that's put upon us,
(04:33):
has been put upon black people, black men.
And he's always been a ignorant ass.
And my goodness, he's sitting there.
Oh, I'm going to go get some cheeks.
You said that on television, on an interview,
to another woman.
You say that.
(04:55):
And you can see that she's like mortified.
But she's trying to be professional, do her job.
You know, who knows?
She probably wanted to cuss him out or whatever.
But you know, she couldn't do that.
And it was just discussed.
And then he's promoting this new poison.
He's selling Horse Power, you know, he's plugging that.
(05:17):
And so, man, it was just utterly disgusting in that.
Or if, just just discussed.
And he's a fool.
He's a fool.
His goofy is hell.
And the one thing, there's a difference between black folks,
(05:40):
black men, black folks, and niggas.
And you just saw what a nigga was right there.
And it was worse.
He's not your typical ignorant nigga out here.
Doing white supremacy bills,
including bidding, attacking everyone.
(06:02):
Messing up everyone's good time, you know, stealing, you know,
all that typical stuff.
No, he's worse. He's a nigga with money.
That's even worse.
I tell people all the time.
Money doesn't change your character.
It reveals your character.
This is who he was.
When he didn't have money.
(06:23):
And then when he got money, it made it worse.
And he just making an ass out of himself.
You're not a good representation of what a black man should be.
Especially to young black boys.
Just ridiculous, man.
And that's all I got to say about that.
I wasn't going through too much time with this fool.
But to be it off from him,
(06:45):
this, uh, this highlights a bigger problem when it comes to us.
So, my please tell me,
when did not being shit became the shit,
it's playing that to me.
It's cool to be junky,
you know, pills, percs
(07:08):
sweat, whatever,
percs, xannys,
Mollies,
uh, what else do they?
The lean, let's not forget that.
Which is also highly addictive.
It's cool to do that.
It's cool to do it.
It's cool not to be intelligent.
If you know,
even as young as one of those kids,
(07:29):
you get made fun of if you knew the answers to
the mad questions,
the other questions,
or you always raised your hand.
And if you look at peer pressure,
get to you.
You wouldn't even put your hand up anymore.
See, my parents put it in a mix,
and they always raise your hand,
always ask questions,
and stuff like that.
And to me, I've always had a thirst for knowledge.
(07:51):
I'm going to look into stuff,
you know, instead of looking at it.
And that's why I teach everybody to tell,
or teach everybody else,
look into things instead of just looking at it.
And you won't believe what you will find, you know?
But, yeah, just being dumb,
not knowing how to speak directly,
I use slang at times, yeah.
I usually bonnet,
but it's different from using the bonnet,
and being stupid,
(08:12):
talking stupidness,
pronouncing words,
using big words,
you don't know the meaning of,
do you think you're saying something,
you can find a new word?
Like, it's stuff like that,
like it's just cool to be dumb,
it's cool to be disrespectful.
It's cool not to have any class,
since when?
It's like, really?
(08:34):
And if you have any of these things,
you're considered to be the less than,
we, a nerd,
I'm a bit of a nerd,
I'm a little bit of a nerd,
I love anime,
and the pewter stuff,
and, you know,
all that stuff,
and I'm proud of that.
But that doesn't mean that I'm less of a man,
that doesn't mean that I'm soft,
or none of that.
(08:55):
But that's mostly ingrowning,
and our people,
you know, to put people down,
who have knowledge,
who have been telling,
who have a vocabulary.
When I'm my,
that's friends,
my brother, Jay,
he's a very extensive vocabulary.
That's part of the reason me and him,
(09:17):
linked up,
because me and him both,
are,
were different,
but were the same,
and somewhat,
you know, quite a few ways.
And that's why,
we linked up,
and, you know,
we've been tight,
ever since,
it's like,
I mean,
this brother haven't even been,
friends really for like,
(09:38):
a year.
But,
the bond we've built,
has been,
it's been like,
we've been friends for 20,
30 years.
So, God put us together for a reason,
you know, not to be all over the place,
let me get back to my original point,
(09:59):
then I'll come back to me and my brother, Jay.
But,
yeah, man, this,
young black men,
black boys,
young ladies,
black women,
it's cool to be smart.
It's cool to have class,
it's cool to have vocabulary.
(10:21):
It is.
Don't let nobody tell you different.
a artist you like to listen to to help promote the negativity in the bullshit, they promote
that and try to make it seem like you're wrong for being the way you are being a decent person
having a brain, having a class and all that stuff, maybe you don't need to be listening
(10:43):
to them, right.
Frank.
You know?
Like I see it all the time, man, I see it when I'm, you know, walk through the city like
a city, I see it on YouTube, I see it on TV, they promote the most ignorant stuff,
but even promoting being unhealthy, now everybody has different body types, body shapes, different
(11:09):
goals if you do start working out.
No one's saying you have to look at a certain way, which you do have to be healthy and
to get into that, back to me, my brother Jai.
Before I met Jai, I was in great shape working out all the time and everything, you know,
(11:30):
and then when I got a job that I met now, cleaning, and then a little over 11 years,
night shift and things, I couldn't work out the way I wanted.
I did for a little while, but I couldn't keep it up, so I would do little things at home,
(11:52):
to keep up with it eventually as you get older.
You know, you have wisdom, so down, then other things, you know, life sometimes gets in
the way or you're not motivated.
So like I said, I would do things here and there to maintain my fitness, so I didn't become
obese or anything like that, but I got to about 240 pounds.
(12:17):
The last time I was 240 pounds was, I was in my 20s, but that's back when I was like, you
know, a pile of just a big, strong, powerful support, but I didn't really like that because
I didn't, my body wasn't used to it.
Like, I'm a decent sized guy, but I'm not, I'm not a big, big guy.
That's not an actual what I am.
(12:38):
So over the years, like I said, I got out of shape, you know, that happens the best
time.
But I knew, I got to get back in shape, like real shape at some point, but you know, you,
(13:00):
you get, like I said, you lose, you know, focus, lose side of that, and then one day, I was
at home, you know, doing what I do, so I'm just, so I used to go into the doctor, get any
bill of health, you know, you know, never had any issues with blood pressure, diabetes,
(13:21):
nothing.
So, and I haven't got up until April 18, 2023, I haven't been to the doctor and can tell
you when.
So one day, this is after I got my, I had to give my technical shot, updated.
(13:43):
And I was looking for a primary doctor and a young lady there.
She, she referred to me to a doctor that she was working under.
I said, okay, I know who this lady is, you know, I've seen her on television, blah, blah, blah,
blah.
She's had an appointment and I saw her first time on April 18, 2023.
(14:08):
And I got blood work before that, I had to get that up there, so I got my blood work, I believe
I was, what's it thought, AC one from, I'm not mistaken.
And actually, blood work I got was for, lipid, sorry if I'm not saying it correctly, but
(14:33):
that was the initial blood work.
And I was, I had my appointment on April 18, 2023, you know, you go in the room, you know,
they wave beforehand, blah, blah, blah.
I go in the, the examining room.
And she comes in and she goes to my vitals, you know, everything's good.
(15:00):
And I was at, my oxygen saturation, lungs were good, blood pressure was good.
Last year I was taxing all that stuff, I'm thinking, okay, I'm going to get another clean
bill of health and go back to what I'm doing, right?
And then she tells me, yeah, there was issues with blood sugar, like what?
(15:26):
I don't never had that issue in my life, ever.
Okay, so, what's, what's in the problem?
And then on the chart, on the patient portal, you have the range of 4.0 to 6.0.
(15:46):
You get closer to 6.0, you're getting closer to the point where you might need medication,
if you go to 6.0 and pass that, you know, died of that.
So, my mind was at the time, 5.7, I was like, what?
So, then now, you know, I was shocked, but then when she said what she said, I wasn't, like,
(16:10):
knock over shock because it made me, it made me reflect on all that I was doing first,
my health at home, like I would have had, like, packs of cookies within like two days they
were gone.
Like, I'm talking about like the family size, packs of chips of oil or oil.
(16:35):
Then also in that same week, if I had, you know, long time, I felt like I would get a caramella
bar or bags of Hershey kisses, just sit down, chilling, do wonder if I'm doing the
same thing.
I, you know, pop one, pop two, you know, what else?
I love Reese's Cup.
(16:56):
I love Reese's Cup.
King Sized Reese's Cup.
I have one at home and I take one to work for lunch.
And it's all just coming back in my head now.
And then I used to drink these cranberry juices, the Ocean Sprays, joined in, where it says
it's 100% cranberry juice, but I knew it wasn't.
(17:17):
Because it's not that sweet, it's 100%.
But I didn't think I was doing any, like, major damage to myself, because I'm so used to
being in the clean bill of health.
And just, at the time, I was taking for granted, you know, what I always used to have.
And then on top of that, I would get that 100% of 12 juice.
And I would mix them together.
(17:39):
And as long as I had it, every meal, I was drinking it.
I still drink my water.
I always drink water and all that, but it didn't outweigh all that sugar.
And remember sugar is a dick.
Because what sugar does is not necessarily sugar that makes you fat.
It's sugar.
(18:00):
What it does is blocks your food cut off.
You'll eat more than what you should because you think you're hungry, but you're not.
And all that just came back is, like, okay, you don't need medication now, but if you don't
(18:20):
change something, you're going to be a diabetic.
I was like, my exact words were, I said, "Hey, no."
I said, "I don't need those problems."
And if she gave me, like, the paperwork on pre-died BDs and all that stuff.
And she asked me, "Diet, I need the digestion."
I said, Hell naw.
I said, "I studied that stuff, actually, when it's too much."
(18:43):
And I said, "You know, new nutrition and stuff like that."
"Excuse me."
And I know what to do, she said, "Okay, what's time I can do this, but if you need a digestion
or something, you call me and we'll get you on that dick, you went home."
That night before, I saw her that morning.
(19:06):
I just made a fresh batch of baked chocolate chips, but y'all know how good those are.
I said, "Damn, I can't have none of this for a while until I get right because I had to
do a C-era game for the follow-up of November 30th, 2023."
(19:28):
So I was like, "Okay."
This is going to be the last day when I got home.
I had a couple of cookies.
I made so many of them.
I gave some to some of the homeless people around the way and the rest, I just threw away.
They said, "Here, I probably would aid them.
(19:49):
I don't know."
I had some orange fronzer soda, two liters, poured that out.
Okay, this is it.
You've got to turn this around.
You do not want any problem.
I started doing a little push-ups and making plans and re-ordering my grocery shopping,
(20:26):
and I was like, "I'm going to shop for you know, stuff like that."
It sounds hard, but it's not.
You've got discipline yourself.
You've got discipline, but I always had discipline with anything.
I thought it would be difficult, but it wasn't at all.
That same week, a proJ came over.
(20:52):
We were playing in my place to kick in.
Talking about our future plans, your brain's tormenting on things we're trying to do,
or we're trying to get something out of life.
We're trying to be entrepreneurs and things like I said in my previous episode,
started a business on December 8, 2023.
(21:14):
And it's taken off from doing my thing.
He said, "Hey, because I want to ask you something, because yeah, what's up?"
He was like, "You put out this list, it had stains on it and everything,
we joke about it now."
(21:37):
He said, "I want you to help me with something."
He was like, "Is it seen?
The work I've equipment I have here in my home, I got a power station, a pull-up bar,
a different station, I got a heavy bands, I got a couple of free weights here,
a weight bands, a ab will, a perfect push-up.
(22:01):
Like I said previously, I was doing things to maintain.
I had love handles, had a gut and all that, but I was supposed to have a man booth.
I said, "When you have a man booth, you know, band cities?"
Oh yeah, you messed up.
And then your body messed up.
I was a few steps away from that.
So he said, "I want you to help me get my life, prepare me for more productivity in my life."
(22:28):
And he said, "When he said, when he said, I gave him the craziest smile in the year."
And he said, "First, I just say the magic word."
And he said, "Then he thought, "I'm gonna fight this dude with something this."
And he didn't know, I told him, I believe the next day I told him, I said, "I smile, man."
(22:50):
Because that was a sign that God is supposed to happen.
And I just had an epiphany after my talkative visit.
I actually had one little bit before that, but I really had a stronger vision.
Hey, you gotta get back in this gym and get your life right.
Get yourself physically back together.
(23:12):
So we agreed on that, and then that first week he started here in my place.
And we know, obviously we weren't what either of us were before,
because before we started working out, Jay told me to hold photos of myself and during COVID.
(23:34):
You know, a lot of people put on weight, things, they're in COVID, you can do nothing.
And he was about 190 pounds, about 5 foot 8, he saw great physical.
And he said, "He just gained all that weight over there, you know, but obviously, you can order your metabolism flows,
but then just eating and doing things, so he's doing the same thing I did."
(23:56):
And we first started, yeah, we were, obviously we were tired, and we were sore.
A lot of things we used to do, we couldn't do them more, like, "Hey, himself can even do a full push up,
because we thought initially he was about 270, he was close to 300, like I said, I was about 240.
So we knew we had work to do, but I told him, "Hey, don't worry, you gonna get it?"
(24:19):
I said, "We both will get it."
And that first week he started, you know, my home, then I had to get my gym membership in order.
I had issues where I didn't sign in to the site, so you know how to get all that corrected?
The second I got that corrected, it's Jay on the phone, I was y'all, it's on.
(24:41):
We in the gym, my start next week, let's go.
And we've been rocking out ever since, and our bond has grown, grown us to toaster, you know,
you know, brothers and this, but the main thing is, we kick ourselves every time we didn't take it for an after-day.
(25:04):
You know, starting tomorrow, it should be Monday, we will be on week 35, about June.
Yeah, week 35.
Jay, so far, it's lost about 60 pounds.
(25:27):
I've lost about 35, almost 40 pounds.
Like now, I last time I checked my weight, up to 201.2.
That's the lowest I've been since, probably my late 20s.
(25:48):
And Jay, last time he checked himself, he was like 240.
Yeah, and we're both faster, stronger, flexible, all that good stuff.
Like it's true, they say, when you're in shape, everything works better because it does.
(26:13):
And we both feel great, we, you know, we compliment from everyone, and the gym we work as a great community, a lot of great people there.
We do a lot of boxing now too, and the gym that we're at.
And that's helped us tremendously, you know, with our hands, with our fitness.
(26:34):
But it's been an awesome journey so far, we still got work to do, you know, but we're loving every bit of it.
And like I said, it's brought me and him posted together and it's got us in probably some of the best trips to shape, either of us has been in since, like I said, it's like our 20s or something.
I'm going to be 42 in July.
(26:56):
Jay is 23 now.
So, yeah, man, like you can do it.
You've got to be this clinic and, you know, you got to be this clinic and set goals and stay with it.
Like I said, this would be week 35, starting Monday with us, you know, and we've been going and going and everybody, you know, like I said, you don't know this to change in yourself.
(27:24):
But people that don't see you all the time, they'll notice it even more than you.
Like, you know, they see you know, the weight in your face is gone and stuff like that, you know, and some of the other little stuff, you know, you know, you know, your body, like your waist going down, some it's flat, all that good stuff.
And all that does is just motivates you more.
(27:46):
And I want to tell you guys, we did all of this with no, no, no steroids, no surgeries.
What's the thing they're doing now? I've got the name of it. It's a shot that you get and stop you from eating for a certain time. You're not hungry.
You know that unnatural stuff. Just discipline and hard work.
(28:13):
So, you know, yeah, that's the same thing in my brother, Jay. Now back to what I was saying earlier about negativity, you know, put on us, you know, like a body stuff like, I'm sorry,
the first body women, y'all be out here on YouTube, uh, Facebook, Instagram, all the social media promoting fake body positivity.
(28:47):
And what I mean by fake body, fake body positivity is, like I said, nothing, you don't have to look a certain way.
You don't have to look like a model or you have to be a healthy way to have a healthy lifestyle. You want to be around.
It's not just for older people like me, middle aged, whatever younger people too is even more imperative for you because if you start doing right now, I'm not saying you got to eat grass and all that.
(29:15):
Yeah, you got to, uh, you got to go meet. Yeah, you got to enjoy yourself. Have you cookie every now and then have a piece of cake or, you know, whatever I have.
She days and I appreciate cookies and all that more me and my brother, we appreciate it more because now we only have it on cheat days.
(29:36):
We don't have it every day or every other day. You know, if we did, it's going to mess up our progress, you know.
And and and but a lot of you women, I see a lot of you online and a lot of you are some of you I might know personally.
So I may not know it all, but you, you promote this fake image that I'm so happy in my skin and I can even tell the string you're not.
(30:03):
How are you happy in your skin and you wearing clothes and and I'm not trying to be funny, but I'm just trying to be, you know, descriptive and things.
It looks like, you know, you're melting all inside of there. You got, you know, you got your arms like your mark and wrist.
Put lying to people because then you promote whether you know what or not, you're misinformation is lying. It is.
(30:32):
You're not happy with yourself. Get get yourself right.
No surgery, no BBL please stop that BBL. Please. God damn please stop that. Oh my goodness.
The BBLs, the mommy make over time. How many how many more you got to die with that? They just had, uh, I've got how many women in the last year.
(30:53):
So dying from this mommy knows, uh, mommy make over.
Oh, I got this gift for myself. They even got daddy makeovers now. You get it, man. Men getting fake abs. I saw on a channel, uh, shout out to him on YouTube, uh, what it looked like TV.
He was talking about the
baneers. Yeah, please stop that shit too. I mean, I know there's dentistry out there. Some people need, you know, cost many dentistry wherever your teeth are rotten or whatever.
(31:21):
But these these damn baneers, man, some of y'all get these baneers looking like carcass. Big ass teeth.
Looks like, look like floor tiles in your mouth. Like, come on, man. And you think you looking good.
So if you can't even talk, then some of you are getting these back alley ones like you were doing the BBL for $1500.
And, uh, uh, no one that don't cost them. Even if it did, even if you got the real ones, a lot of those people, and I tell you the problems they have after.
(31:54):
Same thing with this life or stuff and stuff and all that people get infections or they're in constant pains. They got the body.
They want or whatever. They're taking all kinds of medications for pain and infection. They don't tell you that part. They don't.
And then there's so many of you celebrities, especially these women out here.
(32:15):
Sisters. Focus on these. I'm supposed to y'all getting BBLs or whatever you get the fat out of.
I guess primarily your belly or whatever. And you put it in your rear. I've seen a couple why they must have got a great job done.
(32:37):
I couldn't tell. But most of you you can definitely tell us and you look ridiculous.
And what I'm saying is it's going to change anything. I'm just giving my opinion.
You got a lot of thirsty. That's a thirsty nasty ass dudes that don't care. You got you got an ass.
The size of a of a workout. Paul and the gym. And they love it every bit.
(33:06):
You know, and you got a flat summit if you didn't work for. But then you got arms that you make damn good potato salad and tuna salad.
You know, you got legs like like your oversized baby or something. But you looking good. No, you don't. You look crazy.
Y'all the big veneers. You look crazy. You do that. I get a life of such an out fake ass where they take you cat out your body.
(33:32):
But then they score. They score you some abs. They carve some abs in there. And you look ridiculous.
You got a reject action figure. So I'm like, you look ridiculous, man. And then we see some of these females in the gym that are in the gym with a BBL.
(33:55):
Some of them have their arrest on to you. You look crazy. But you're in the gym working out. Here's the thing.
If you're in the gym now, why do you just be in the gym in the first place? You could have got you can better body because it would have been sculpted by you.
The way you want it. And they don't take the horse stories of that either with the people that get it. They get these BBLs and all that and how unhappy they are.
(34:21):
I want to satisfy their. They can't change your back. They can't do it over. You know, some of that stuff you can get out of you, but some of that stuff is not reversed.
You know, they don't tell you that they promote you know the fake fake shit. So see, that's a problem. Too many people want instant gratification.
They don't want to work for nothing. You want somebody to give it to you or you go to a whole other country to get it. But wait cheaper.
(34:49):
Now you dead or back to something or just a bit damn bad bottom line. Do it the right way. Yes, it's going to be hard. It's going to be hard.
But you're going to love it. You know why? Because you did it. You worked for that and sweat everything. You did that.
And it's going to motivate you because you're not just going to look good. You're going to feel good. So you're going to feel it. That's even more.
(35:14):
That's way more important than just seeing it. It's feeling.
But no, you rather get the other way, looking like this person and that person is trying to be this person. Then y'all doing the list of full talks.
What is so many damn.
It's ridiculous. Oh, yeah, you brothers, man. Y'all getting it down.
(35:37):
I don't know the proper name. He's damn lace front page and all that. Maybe what the hell is wrong with y'all?
That's ridiculous. How did I? I'm bald now. And I got very good hair. But I was going bald because I see my dad lost his hair so I knew I would lose my.
And I feel like a ball swatter. I say, you know what? I'm tired of going to the barber shop anyway. I cut my own hair. Let me go bald.
(36:06):
And it's one of the best looks for me. Probably the best look I've had, but I ain't going to get no damn.
Which I can't tell anybody what to do. I'm just advising you.
Okay.
I'm not getting no damn lace front. Fade or waves. I'm not coming. Come on.
Are you kidding me?
(36:30):
You look absolutely ridiculous. I said it. That's in the sisters too. With the fake body positive.
It's too much dysfunction. I just function is it's crazy with everything. But please quit promoting that.
Please quit promoting that like like you're happy and you're not, you know, you you you you're severely overweight or something like that.
(36:58):
And you're promoting. Oh, yes. And you got people else late queen and all that. And I'm not saying you should dog them out.
Problem fat and all kinds of no, not at all. Talk to them and advise with. Hey.
You don't have to be a size minus zero. But get to a healthy weight and healthy.
Healthy, healthy lifestyle. Because in the end all this stuff you're promoting.
(37:23):
But the I'm come to my skin. I'm this fat and third. It's gonna catch up with you. You got all these health problems.
Some of you probably do have them now, but you want to keep your lights and your post and then shares and all that.
You're not going to tell people how you really fit.
It's the worst personal life to yourself. That's a fact. That's the worst personal life.
(37:49):
So get that. Get that. Yeah. Brothers, please get that together and put with the instant gratification.
Because it's not, it's not worth it. This is just joining me. My brother Jay went on.
35 week. I said, start Monday. We've been loving every bit of it.
(38:12):
And it's all our work. But it started with trying.
We had to do this. We had to get up. We both work nights. Some home.
Sit for a minute in the morning and we head right to the gym.
That's what we do. That's how dedicated we are. And like I said, he's 53.
(38:34):
I'm going to be 42 in a couple months. We were doing five days a week.
Five days a week. And then Jay came up with the idea is hey, we should take a day off in the middle.
And that's helped us tremendously. We take off on a Wednesday. Usually the Wednesday will take off.
And you know, we do wherever we got to do, you know, get more rest to rest is a big thing that helps with your muscles and your recovery.
(39:02):
You need to really get the sleep. You should get up being on the night shift. Like it is what it is.
Like eventually, like I said, I'm working towards why I don't have to be the job anymore.
You know, my business. What's your vision is a job.
You know, well, that's my job. My passion. So I put all my energy and emphasis on that.
(39:27):
But I'm working towards that. Like I said, it's some common time, you know, as long as I keep doing my thing going forward, I'm a kid when I'm at, you know.
But, uh, yeah, man, we got to do better as a whole. Men and women do better and do better for your kids.
Kids watching especially when you think they're not watching. They watch.
(39:49):
And I just sure his other young black boys and girls watching.
You know, so, yeah, you know, that's that. But, uh, to, uh, go to the next thing I want to talk about.
This is a message to my stronger, further message to my black men out there.
(40:16):
Especially the black man brothers that are in my life.
I'm not saying any names on here, but you know, I'm talking to you directly.
Listen to me clear.
Get up off your ass.
(40:37):
Stop complaining about what you ain't got. But then the next minute you tell me, I want this.
I want that between doing nothing to get nothing at all.
And some of you haven't been doing nothing for a long damn time.
Get up off here. I asked him, get, I did J did others. We know this.
When I started my business, did nobody help me with this? I did this for my money.
(41:00):
I ain't like I said before I ain't rich none of that. But I didn't let that stop me.
I started my business. I knew what I want.
And what I'm going to do to get it. And I knew damn well. And nobody can give me shit.
They didn't give me nothing.
And I don't want nobody to give me nothing. A lot of times that comes with price.
So yeah, get up off your ass so you can complain it.
(41:24):
Put, put settling and being content with mediocrity.
Put procrastination. Then it never gets done.
Or even worse, you got other people doing stuff for you.
You don't want to do the research. You, damn lazy. You don't even want to do the research.
That's some lazy shit. You don't want to do the research?
(41:47):
For some, you got to get someone else to do it. And then the day you don't do it in the time you're fashion,
you're mad at them. How?
And then you did job to doing the first business. You're damn job.
Get your ass up and do something.
Complaining what was me and all man, please man.
(42:08):
I was going to goddamn pity party.
I could easily did that because I ain't where I want to be.
I could easily set a tone of wine and crime, drinking, whatever.
Hell no. I ain't doing that. I can look myself in the mirror doing it.
I couldn't look myself in the mirror. Then I got too many younger people,
especially my niece, my number one.
(42:32):
She looks up to me. She works. She does her thing.
She's going to be 21 in December.
Doing her thing. I had a big hand in raising her and can't be more proud of the young lady she's becoming.
I hope she comes even greater as time goes on.
It would make me feel even more proud as when I had here from my mother that my niece said,
(43:02):
"I want to be, she wants to be like me. She wants to be like me."
I couldn't put in the words how much that meant to me. That means she...
That shows what I said earlier.
She is paying attention to me when I think she's not and when I know she is.
And that's important for her.
(43:25):
As well as other kids, I may be around.
But they may hear me speak or see me. That's important.
Especially brothers that are fathers.
When your boy shouldn't not do anything and they're partying around and...
And your kids see this.
Your kids are seeing this.
(43:46):
They may not say nothing because they've been under heart of the vocalizer.
But they see it. They see you being a bum.
Yeah, I called you a bum. A bum as...a bum as too.
Because you don't want to try.
You don't want to work hard. It gets hard.
You quit.
You got to excuse for everything.
(44:09):
You got to say 24 hours. Everybody else died.
Is it going to come quick? No. No, it ain't going to come quick.
But here's the prime example.
I used to work at Denny's.
One on Delaware.
Being a brother of Al.
(44:32):
And there was a lot of people that...
I come from I still talk to now.
Something not so much.
But there was a brother there.
And a lot of you here in the city of Buffalo.
I'm sure you know.
They're in Bryant.
You're making Chef.
(44:54):
He started out there as a dishwasher.
And like most of the dishwashers, they go sometimes is...
Hey, I want to elevate the audience.
I think he became a cook around the time I left.
I left there, like, oh, no, in 2012.
Right?
If you want to stay in there, he's working other jobs.
(45:15):
You know, grind it. Like you got to do.
I'm sure he has some failures.
And...
Shredpups and all that.
Failure.
This is your out of the stand too. Failure is part of success.
It is.
You may fail more, maybe more than once.
Take fails, little fails, but it's part of success.
(45:36):
And you can't stop as you fail.
But anyway, you know what I was doing this thing.
You know.
I know he got married.
He got a kid.
And I'm sorry, he went to a ECC, which is a great culinary program.
He's been off to the race for that, y'all.
(45:59):
He had flown out, cooking for NFL players, celebrities,
making connections, two restaurants in the city.
He's on commercials.
He's just doing this thing.
But he never would have got that.
If he never would have started.
(46:20):
If he never would have tried.
And he wouldn't have.
He went after his goal.
Said a goal and go after it.
He wouldn't have had any of it if he didn't do that.
So what's wrong with the rest of y'all?
And some of y'all that was there saw him but said,
"Hey, you still ain't doing shit."
(46:41):
And you got every excuse in the book.
But some of you have had opportunities before me.
To start a business.
Do whatever.
Even if you don't want to start a business, maybe you want a higher level of whatever job you're worth.
Okay.
You still have to try.
(47:02):
You still have to work.
You still have to grind to get there.
And nobody's just going to give it to you.
And it's ridiculous, man.
It's ridiculous.
Whoever gets offended.
I don't give it damn if you get offended.
Because I'm not saying it too offended you.
But I'm saying it to motivate you and kick you in the ass because especially the people that I'm directing this,
(47:28):
mostly the people in my circle,
I want you to win.
I always want you to win.
Like I said, I want us all to win.
I just want to be the one winning.
I want us all to win.
I want us all to be bosses.
Live the lives we deserve for us, our kids, the significant others and all that stuff and it's firing, help other people.
(47:52):
But if you don't want it, what doesn't matter?
If you don't,
and another thing to you, to your brother,
if you have a woman,
who ain't right,
and she's showing you the sister she ain't right.
She's just bringing you down.
She's not doing anything to assist you and your goals or even the simplest stuff and maintaining a household.
(48:21):
Just like a job or anything else,
you need to let that go.
Is it gonna be easy?
No?
Are you gonna enjoy it?
Maybe not.
But if someone is disturbing your peace,
so you're around them,
you're not happy,
(48:44):
they know you took great deal or whatever,
but it's never really good.
Like you're there, you're there.
Basically your room makes a sleep with each other, okay, basically.
When they disturb your peace,
that means they're taking pieces of beauty.
(49:05):
And yes, it hurts when you gotta cut off somebody that you love or care about.
If you know they ain't right,
they ain't gonna be right, they ain't trying to.
And that's just in the romantic relationship.
That's also what's the brand.
Stuff like that.
Yes, it's gonna hurt.
But you know it needs it hurts because you know it needs to be done.
And it's even worse when you got kids involved because
(49:27):
that's why I said to men and women alike,
you don't have to be unhappy for your kids or nobody else.
Because eventually it's gonna affect them kids very, very bad.
Only you and your man and woman,
only thing y'all have to do is raise and pick.
And hopefully you both are mature enough,
(49:48):
however your relationship is,
hopefully you're both mature enough that you can hold parents
and come together for those kids
when it's time to other than that,
live your lives.
Because me, my thing is,
I don't give a damn about nobody else's happiness
if I ain't happy first.
Because how can I make anyone happy if I'm not?
(50:12):
And you will never find peace if you don't find it within yourself first.
Never.
Now, I'm not satisfied where I am.
I'm not 100% happy where I am.
But I'm not unhappy, I'm not depressed enough.
I'm just unsatisfied because I have goals
and when I reach them,
that's when I'll be told to have them.
Until I get them,
(50:33):
you know, I feel some type of way.
But I'm working towards them.
I ain't got nobody else doing it.
I ain't got nobody giving me nothing, nothing.
I'm climbing and grinding to get them
getting it the right way.
I ain't selling myself loud,
I ain't selling nobody else out,
I ain't cutting nobody through,
I ain't selling my ass,
I ain't on my knees,
(50:55):
I refuse.
So if I gotta do all that,
I don't need it.
I don't need it.
So the message to y'all,
especially the fellas to my circle,
get your shit together.
You know, my feel started for you.
You're not crippled,
you're not able,
you're able body,
you got your mind and all that.
(51:16):
Get your shit together.
The problem is, too,
a lot of y'all are not even afraid of failure.
You're afraid of success.
You're afraid of success.
You're afraid of success.
Get your shit together.
And if you, like I said,
if you got a woman that ain't right,
and she's showing you ain't right
because trust me,
your loved ones and people around you,
(51:38):
they see the unhappiness in the misery in you.
We see it.
Oh yes, we see it.
Do we always say something?
No, because you don't need someone
in your ear all the time or robbing.
You don't need it.
Because if the ended,
at the end of the day,
if your mama,
your daddy,
your brother, sisters,
whoever that cares about you,
(51:59):
sees it, someone ain't right,
name, been right for you.
You got to see it for yourself.
There's nothing we can do
because we can't live your life for you.
All we can do is trade for you.
You know, it applies to you.
Give you well wishes, you know what I mean?
And hopefully you wake up.
And if you cut that panzer out,
then you can start lifting up.
And then you can start lifting up.
(52:20):
And then you can start lifting up.
Then you can start lifting up.
You know what?
But as far as that,
get your shit together.
And here's nothing too, brother.
Quit working these dead and jo--
I'm not, first of all,
you saying you want more of the life.
You're not going to get it working
(52:41):
or dead and that's job and ain't going to--
I'm sorry.
I work those kind of jobs and I got out.
When I seen that I want better
and not deserve better,
I got out.
Now, don't get--
don't get it twisted.
I'm never knocking someone who
making an honest out of me,
busting nobody in the head,
selling poison to people.
I ain't knocking that at all.
(53:03):
But there's levels to that.
What do I look like at 42 working at seven or less?
But I'm trying to keep this in that.
What do I look like doing that?
No.
No, I got a good job now.
But this job, me, like it's paying me
30,000 hours, you know?
(53:26):
I'm doing well because, you know,
just me, I don't have any children or anything.
So just me, but that's not what I want.
I'm not taking that.
I want better.
I want more.
I deserve more.
And you do, too.
But if you don't want it,
are you even doing anything to get it?
What can you do?
You can't be working.
(53:47):
You're going nowhere.
No, where?
The highest, maybe you can get it to manage it or something.
Or, or, and, and, you know, stuff like that.
These are like, except for those jobs,
you're trying to do something great.
If you're trying to do something great,
you're not going to do what's saying there.
It starts now, especially if you're,
if you're the age of me,
(54:09):
you don't know how much time you got.
None of us have,
have,
you know,
all the time we think we have,
but you do have time.
You're alive, breathing,
above ground,
you got time,
you got time to do better.
But if you're just going to waste it,
(54:33):
bullshit around,
make excuses,
not try,
depend on other people,
you're not going to go anywhere.
And, as I said,
it's worse if you have children,
because they're seeing this.
And, hopefully, if they see what you're doing,
bullshit,
and, and, and, and being a problem,
(54:54):
hopefully,
they'll see that say,
no, I don't want to be that,
I want to be better.
And, naturally, you won't benefit your kids anyway,
even if you were,
the, the, the most successful business person in the world,
you, you won't benefit your kids,
but,
rather, you got to do it.
And, that starts with anything,
working out,
(55:15):
getting your body right,
getting, getting a business,
getting a higher level,
occupation,
that's more of a career,
whatever.
It starts with trying.
It starts with doing research.
It starts with,
when not,
depending on people,
you got to do it.
Ain't nobody giving you a damn thing,
especially as Black Panther.
(55:37):
You know,
you got to go get it.
Go get it.
Go take what you want.
Get it the right way,
like I said.
Don't sell out.
Don't be in your knees.
None of that.
But, get it.
How you gonna get it if you don't try?
But, you can play in and all the time.
Amazing.
Then, a lot of you are psychological,
defeated Negroes.
(55:58):
I stay away from you.
I don't care if you,
a, a friend,
I stay away from you.
Because,
psychologically,
defeated Negroes,
one of those Negroes
to where,
you can say,
"Yeah,
I'm going to buy this building,
turn it into like,
(56:19):
a rec center,
for kids,
so they can do all kinds of different things,
and probably blind,
and they'll say,
"Oh, man, you know,
man,
I wouldn't even try that,
man, you know,
waste system is,
like,
"Hey, shut your ass up, man."
Shut your miserable,
dumb ass up, man.
That's why stuff ain't getting done now.
(56:43):
Because you,
you deterrence somebody else,
because you quit,
because you,
you tell somebody else they can,
because you can't,
because you never even try.
I shut your ass up,
but don't somewhere with that.
Yeah, stay away from psychologically,
the treaty Negroes
and, so stay away from them.
And,
and, and like I said,
this is a measure for the brothers,
(57:04):
but since this is the ought to,
you got a man,
there's drag you down,
whether you got kids,
not they ain't helping you,
you can't,
you can't support you,
you ain't got teens,
you need to cut them off.
A minute,
brothers and sisters,
if there's a job,
a person,
somebody,
(57:26):
some,
some, any type of negativity,
or anchor,
or cancer,
cut that shit off,
because it,
because it could mean
you're like,
you know,
I'm dead serious.
They never lie,
it means they miss me less,
come on.
And that,
and that stuff can drain you,
it can,
it can drain you,
it,
(57:49):
it just,
it just sucks to life,
I,
period,
take your,
your motivation,
if you let it,
get up and go on all of that,
cut that off.
Some of you,
that I'm talking,
you should have did it yesterday,
cut that cancer off.
But in the end,
like I said,
you can do it,
(58:10):
you're making excuses and try.
It's okay to get people to help you here and there,
like maybe some,
you please, you don't know,
but I'm talking about helping a sense
to what they got to do,
all the work for you,
they got to research it,
do this and that,
and the here's the thing with that.
You got people that sometimes have a willing lead,
help you with a certain situation,
give you detailed notes,
(58:31):
whatever.
You still don't do nothing with it,
so damn,
so you must be lost,
talk,
they did all the work for you,
all you had to do was go to the job
and if you were a science and paper,
whatever,
they do it for you,
and you still don't do nothing,
like that,
because then,
the person's like,
damn,
(58:52):
I did all the work for you,
research,
you didn't even ask me to do it,
I did it for you,
and you still didn't do nothing with it?
Oh yeah,
then,
you didn't do nothing with it?
Oh yeah, then,
you use the sorry,
you use the sorry,
you know,
more important,
for real,
you sorry,
like damn,
but get it together,
that's the best method to do it.
(59:14):
Get it together,
you can do it,
you can't,
I can tell all my life,
kid,
even as a grown man,
I can't,
I'm good enough,
you won't be able to trigger this out,
this is,
most of the things I know,
I'm not talking about the things,
I taught myself,
I taught myself how to cut hair when I was 14,
(59:35):
because at the time, you know,
us, you know, we were poor,
my parents can always
take me to money,
get a haircut,
haircuts,
weight sheepies,
and they are now,
I mean, ooh, we,
haircuts are worth like $30, $25,
$5 and like,
damn,
and they can always,
give me a haircut.
I mean sometimes I had a couple of cousins,
some were coming here,
sometimes,
(59:56):
some others,
people,
but when I was in high school,
one day I was like,
you know what,
it can't be that hard to cut hair,
so I got me some pioneer
clipboards from a drugstore,
and actually the first hair
that I cut was a friend of mine named James.
So I did say,
"Hey, am I alright?"
and then I learned other stuff
along the way that,
you know, you got to make sure
your hair is washed clean,
(01:00:17):
and then I learned how to edge.
I mean,
if you would take over time,
but I got better,
and to the point
where I was,
my brother's hair and all that,
people thinking,
they got done the barber shop,
no I did, you know,
and I went and certified it.
That's something I plan on doing though too though.
When I get the time,
they go to a hair studio,
get certified for cutting hair,
(01:00:40):
because I didn't know
until I went to the hair show one day
to get some things.
It's certain things I could even look at,
because I wasn't certified,
so,
and because I wanted to get better,
I had to have that tool in my tool belt,
you know, sharpen my,
sharpen my sword,
if you will,
if I could be even better at what I already, you know,
am with haircut, you know,
you learn some new techniques and new machines.
(01:01:03):
Like,
not too long ago,
you know,
I never done eyebrows before.
I've been doing it for a few years.
I did my,
nieces eyebrow,
and I was just cleaning them up,
and then one day she said,
"Can you arch them?"
I was like,
"Well, I don't know if I can do that."
I said, "Look, I'm gonna try,
but if it looks like I can't do it,
I'm gonna stop trying to convince you."
(01:01:26):
Me being me,
I figured it out,
like that.
I tried,
I never tried to,
I was my life,
so,
so my knees asked me to,
not do my thing,
because I have a determination,
I have a tenacity,
natural ferocity about me,
I will not be denied,
it's something I want,
or I'm trying to get,
I will not be denied,
even if I fail,
(01:01:47):
the first time.
All right, I'm coming back,
I'm coming back,
I'm coming back,
you kick your ass,
it's coming back,
like I will not be denied,
I will not be deterred,
I won't.
I won't be stopped,
I just,
like this,
starting this business and other things,
as well,
my fitness,
I didn't let nothing in nobody help me back,
and that's nothing,
sisters and brothers,
(01:02:08):
quit letting your,
other people,
your man,
your woman,
brother, sister,
mama, dad,
quit letting people hold your back,
and do you don't hold yourself back?
You can do it,
you can,
but you have to,
you have to,
you have to,
you have to take that first step,
and take it starts
with trying,
and not to be vulgar,
(01:02:30):
and closing them,
let me,
let me,
still a quote from
a CT Fletcher,
at least try,
mother fucker,
you know?
You know?
You can do it,
I want you to win,
I wanted you to win. But you had to want you to win. If you don't, like I said it's
(01:02:54):
a lost cause. I've been here for a little over an hour, y'all. That's my time. This is
your brother. Your host, Mr. Tenseaire. I'm signing out. Peace.
