Speaker 1 (00:16):
To Bad, back to back to Bad, back to pay
to be, back to play, time to play by, time

(00:43):
to bring back to play by, Padman to buy Back.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Hey, what's going on everybody? And welcome to another livestream
edition of the World Dely Podcast. A Sunday show compared
to our normal Monday shows, and I am your host,
Dylan Abert with me as always my co host tacting
partner Jordan Johnson. Jordan, what is going on and how
you doing today?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
I'm doing good and I'm mean your kitchen again.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
So yep, as announced as announced last Monday, Yes, you
are at in the same house as I am. But
for a show as big as we normally do, this
is one of our biggest shows of a year, compared
to our end of year awards that will be airing
at the end of the year. We can't come home
for this one. We can't just do it just me

(01:55):
and you, Jordan. I mean, we got to bring on
some people, and I feel like we're bringing on some
of the very best, some that have not been on
our show in quite some time, so we are excited
to have them back on the show. First of all,
you can find them on Cage my Q and for
your sports betting needs, you can find him at Dan's
Rings Side Picks. It is Bakelely what is going on
and how you doing today?

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Not too much, I think to come on.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah, man, it's it's been a while since you've been
on our show, and it's been a while since the
other one has been on our show as well. And
you can find him for your your baseball needs at
the Three Into Count podcast and for your wrestling needs
at the Belly to Back Wrestling podcast if you still
do them. I haven't heard nothing in a while, so blaye.
How you doing today?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Man?

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Oh man? Doing good? Man? Thanks for having me again.

Speaker 6 (02:39):
Yeah, I've just been trying to get the baseball podcast
off the ground first, but I'll start soon getting the
wrestling one as well.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah. For the for the baseball one, not long ago
you interviewed a coach from my my alma mater. Man,
that's pretty cool. So uh yeah, so yeah, yeah, things
are going pretty well with that. Your your sports betting
has also been going pretty well. I know you've been
telling me about uh people subbing to your stuff, to
your free to your free tier, your pay tier and

(03:09):
your soccer and your UFC stuff. So how's that been
going for you?

Speaker 4 (03:13):
It's been so long, you know, it's a slow process.
Of course, thank you for being the guy that does
my images for me, you know, hell.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yeah, oh of course, of course. Oh yeah. I was
gonna say I I do a lot of graphics for
a lot of people, and and the two guys here
are some I do graphics for. And I was gonna
say bigly that your your sports betting page looks a
little bit better because of a certain guy that does
cool graphics for you. And I'm not going to shout
anybody out or anything, but uh yeah, but no, we

(03:50):
are here for our mid Year Awards, and uh it's
not just w B. It's not just a w It
can be any promotion possible. So we're not gonna waste
anyone's time. We're gonna hop right into our picks, and
we are gonna start off with one that normally closes
our uh our award showed, but we're gonna start off

(04:13):
with the first one and that is the best male
Superstar so far. And this is ranging from January first
to right now. So as we're gonna do it, we're
gonna do Blaine Bakley, Jordan and I'll close out with
our picks. So Blaine, who is your male Superstar of
the Year thus far?

Speaker 6 (04:31):
Man, it was a tough decision, but man, I think
I gotta go with jay Us from w W. I
just he just been white hot since the beginning of
the year with the rumbo going into what was that
elimination chamber or stuff like that. He just I know
you dropped a belt last week or so, but it
just I don't think that wild stop from Rustle now,

(04:53):
So I just go with Jus.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Okay, nice, you got Baker.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
I'm gonna go with the raiding defending NXC champion of
a Femily you said, because it's been January he won
the belt, he's been kicking butt since then. It seems
like no one's gonna beat him, and he's just been
on a tari lately.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Okay, mine is so I put John Cena.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
So it looks like me and Jordan are going with
the same ones, because I got John Cena as well.
And you know, he came back at the room, had
his last Rumble match, and I thought he was gonna
put himself over right there, you know, But losing to
j U So and seeing the IWC going to a
major frenzy turning on ju So, the unnecessary hate that
jau So got after the rumble was over, saying Sena

(05:52):
should have been it or seeing him punk or or
something like that. And then and then the major hill
turn it happened at the Chamber, which the rock was
not needed for being that the interview with Paton McAfee
saying that it was mainly just a boost ticket sales
while he was there, and then the He'll run wasn't

(06:12):
that great up until the pipe bond that happened on
SmackDown and then would happened at Night of Champions. I
thought the He'll Run maybe is getting a little bit better,
but I don't and I and for what I'm still
gonna say right now that I don't see him being
a heel the entire run. I think you want to
close out your professional wrestling career as you've been the

(06:33):
entire time and has a face. So I think the
He'll run maybe is going to come to an end
at some point. But he is doing fantastic work right
now John Cena, even for his age and for his
last round. So yeah, John Cena for me is the
male superstar of the year so far. So now we
get to the best debut, and this could be someone

(06:55):
debuting from another promotion there for the first time. It
could be someone on their first match with whatever their
promotion they're with or anything. So Blaine, who you got man?

Speaker 5 (07:08):
Uh? Debut? I gotta go with Pencer when he when
he debuted.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
In UW the Raw on Netflix. I think that was
that was a cool experience with him.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
All right, Who you got Bakley?

Speaker 4 (07:26):
I just played It was on Netflix the second show.
I believe just the way he came out, he had
his family there, the crowd bought into it.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
So yeah, all right, who you got Jordan?

Speaker 3 (07:40):
I got my girl Tiffany Stratton.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Mh for debut, Oh yeah, they're not the list I sent.
He was not an order.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Oh yeah. For best debut, Yeah, I'll put Tiffany Stratton.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
What's your debut on.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
This year?

Speaker 3 (08:10):
If not, I'll go with Panta.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Yeah, that's all good because across the board I got
Penta as well. You know, the worst kept secret in
in w w E in my opinion, they even announced
the merchandise and before he was even set to up
here on Raw, so I mean everyone knew it was
coming w wand to capitalize on the merchandise sales and whatnot.
So yeah, Panta for me is the best debut. There

(08:41):
wasn't that many big debuts in WU or a W
or anywhere. I mean you can think Ricky Sayt, so
you can think Blake Monroe that just happened. But Pansa,
I mean the buzz around him was it was fantastic.
So yeah, I gotta go with Penta. So now we
swing over to one. I think we may have, you know,

(09:02):
probably all different answers for this one. There's a lot
of good ones that happened this year, and that is
the best match of twenty twenty five so far. Blayting
who you got?

Speaker 6 (09:13):
Oh shoot, I think I'll have to go with the
Gunta Jus.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
Russell Mania. That would be my my fake.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
All right?

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Who got Baker?

Speaker 4 (09:27):
I got Anny Omega and Gabe Kid at Russell Dynasty
right off the first week in January Maga's first match back.
He got Gabe Kid, who was supposed to be the heel,
but he was the one to getting all the all
the fans cheering for him and they had a crazy
just wonder for.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
Match that all right, Who you got Jordan, We'll try
not to miss this one up. Uh got? I got
Roman Reigns and see him Punk and seth orwlands out WrestleMania.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Yeah yeah, I kind of felt we're gonna have all
different answers because from someone like me who does not
talk good about AEW at all, I'm like one of
the biggest AW haters when it comes to podcasters or wrestling.
I did go with an AEW match, and I went
with Will Osprey and Kyle Fletcher from Revolution that's still

(10:20):
cage match. The storytelling was really good, you know, being
in in there the big Faction together with Mark Davis,
even having Mark Davis appear at at the match as well,
and then they and then the end of it was
really good too, you know the way they finished it, man,
it was. It was such good storytelling. And and they
even had another good still cage match on on on

(10:42):
Raw with punkin Rollins as well, So I mean, you
could even compare it to being really good, but the
storytelling behind Fletcher and Osprey was just far too good
to to not pick it in my opinion, because that's
also one thing I look forward to as well for
for a match is a storytelling and and that was
really good. But I getting to the best champion this. Honestly,

(11:06):
this has not been the year of the champion as
far as as booking for W or or keeping your
main one in a fucking briefcase in ae W or
anything like that. So all right, Blaine, who's the best
champion so far this year?

Speaker 4 (11:22):
Like you said, there's not that many good champions.

Speaker 6 (11:25):
But if I had to pick one, I think I'll
just go with with Sea the Hill last run this
he'll run.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
I think, in my opinion, that's the best champion right now.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Yeah, And honestly, picking Scena, that's I mean, that's a
reach right there, because there's not been good champions. That's
that's a sad part. There's not been good champions. And
usually you know, we have a champion that's that's continuing
to run their promotion that has been good booking and whatnot,
And sadly this has not been the year so far unfortunately.
But Bakery, who you got man?

Speaker 4 (11:56):
I went with, But I went with perk Get in
February's he had seven title defenses up until this morning
when he dropped it to Zach Sieber Junior. And he's
just killed it for five months. It's just like you said,
there has been a lot of guys that have kind
of held on to the belt that long said him

(12:19):
were the longest screaming people with the quartitles.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Who you got Jordan, I got it, Johnsina, And here's
me going with another ae W. I'm going Tony Storm.
I think the character wise she has been great. I mean,
and like I said, this has not been a big
year of champions, And I mean other than her and

(12:49):
Mariah May, I mean, I really can't think of anyone
that's really held the title too much other than them too.
And as Tony has been holding it well, unfortunately, I
think it may come to an end at all, in
being that Mercedes Hogan is booking her own wins and
and uh she'll take it off for her. But no,
I mean, she's been a great champion for sure. So

(13:11):
I gotta go with Tony on this one, all right.
Now we get to the best pay per view or
p l E. So they had to include a pl
part because people get confused with with it. But oh
who you got blame?

Speaker 5 (13:29):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (13:30):
I like the elimination Chamber of Toronto that was that
was one of my good ones. Uh, and I think
John Cena Hill turn that day kind of like saved it.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Yeah, it really did. Yeah, we got Baker.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Ste standing in the liver. I was a weird throat
about Menia. Well the night one I was too not
so much, and I got next saved the weekend front.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Mm hmm, okay, you got Jordan.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
I got a Russell Maania forty one.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Night one, just night one, because Night two, the end
of it was awful.

Speaker 5 (14:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Yeah, the unnecessary Travis Scott appearance and all that's no
need for that. All right, So I'm going back to
back to back on AW and I'm going with AW Revolution. Uh.
The cage match I think was easily the best from
that show, but I mean, so many others on that

(14:37):
card was really good. And honestly, I could have gone
from from Revolution to double or nothing or something like that.
But honestly, I don't think w has really put on
like a a mind blowing show this year. You know,
Night of Champions was good and it wasn't It wasn't
fantastic by any means. WrestleMania Night one and two. I

(14:59):
think the crowd really impacted how and how the show was.
There were a few pops here and there, when Don
won the title, when Joe Hendry appeared, uh, the end
of Night one with the double turn from Hayman, But
nothing mind blowing really came from WrestleMania this year. Unfortunately.
The heel turn, like Blaine was saying, was it really

(15:20):
saved the show for Elemis Chamber, But nothing crazy good
happened from there this year, and it's I'm hoping that
something bigger and better comes from like Summer Slam and
Evolution and Survivor Series and so on, so maybe we'll
actually get something. Yeah, Revolution was a really good show.
I haven't paid for an away per view this year,

(15:40):
so I've been I speak too much. The FBI is
gonna show up on my door at some point five
if I keep talking about it. So we'll move on. Uh,
it's the best rivalry. It's been some good rivalries this year,
but there's got to be one that sticks out for
all of y'all. So who you got blame?

Speaker 5 (15:58):
The Three Way Punk Roman Range. I like that rivalry Cominade.

Speaker 6 (16:03):
And the you know, the the back saving in uh Mania,
So that was my favorite river.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
And so let me ask you before that even happened
before that triple threat happened. Did you predict what actually
happened at the end that Rollins was going to walk
out with Hayman.

Speaker 6 (16:19):
No, because I think I actually I think I talked
to you that now and he was telling me that.
He was telling me that might happen. I'm like, I
don't know, and then all of a sudden it happened.
I did not predict that.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
Yes, yeah, it's it's just a way that it's the
vibe I was getting from it because he's going back
and forth. He's going to Roman, He's going to Punk,
He's going to Roman Punk. And I'm like, I'm like,
what if he's doing all this just to walk out
with Rollins in the same night he's walking out with Punk,
but he's gonna walk out of the building with Seth Rollins.
I'm like, man, that's got That's something they gotta do

(16:51):
at the end of Night One. I mean, they gotta
save Night one. Night One, in my opinion was it
was all right. It wasn't the best, but but I mean,
that's that a way to save it. Man, that was
a really really good end. Sue at Night one, Baker,
who you got for best rivalry that.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
One, but another one still with the other one page
in sceints okay, and that's still going right now. Just yeah,
Punk and Ros and I feel like it's getting better
now because of the way they're going with it.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Mm hmm, alright, Jordan, who you got, man?

Speaker 3 (17:32):
I got a John Cena and see him punk.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Okay, Man, I'm really backing myself into a corner here
and I'm going to a W again. Something something's going on.
I don't know what his answers coming from.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Must be on payroll now.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Because I'm going Tony Storm and Mariah May Uh, they
only had I mean really since the year start, I
think they had only two matches. They had the Grand
Slam Australia on and then they had their last, their
final final match on it with that that capture you
have at the end where their boat laying on like

(18:14):
stage like after the match was over, and that was
basically you know, Mariah May's exit from Maye w Anyways,
I think I think it was was it revolution? Was
that match?

Speaker 4 (18:26):
Was that too?

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Yea?

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Yeah? All right? So yeah, I mean, I mean really
the rivalry between them was really good. I mean even
started last year, you know, Mariah May basically came in
as as Tony's little protege, you know, someone who looked
up to Tony a bunch, And I'm like, man, this
has to end with Mariah turning on Tony and Tony

(18:51):
turning on Mariah. And the way Mariah did it, you know,
winning that it was like that owen Hart cup and
then she and then she hit her with that bell,
and I'm like, oh man, this is just the perfect
way to do it, and had a rivalry between them two,
and I wish it would have lasted longer, a little longer,
but yeah, I mean, it was really good to start
the year off to have those two good matches and

(19:13):
basically was Mariah's exit from from ADW And we're still
yet to see any action out of her NXT, but
I think I think her working with that division, which
in my opinion, is one of the better divisions in
professional wrestling right now in NXT, I think she's gonna
do good over there, because I feel like they're calling

(19:34):
up too many people too fast from NXT. I think
me and you Baicley talked about it a little bit.
I think you comment on our show whenever Jordan and
I were talking about where Mariah could land, and I
was thinking, you know, maybe coming to the main roster
right away. But being the fact they called up Stephan
the already called Julia called rock Sanda. I mean, I mean, yeah,
it was a no brainer to put her on.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
But then I think they held her back because of
all the moves that they've made.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
And really I don't I don't mean to get off
topic with anything about Miriami or anything like that, but
but what do you make of the name change. I
know to IWC lost their absolute minds about it, but
they don't know the story behind it. With the name Blake,
I mean, that's that's her, her niece's name.

Speaker 4 (20:19):
I like the like the name. I just don't like
the gimmick it's all it's It just reminds me too
much of Bewitched the way that you're doing it. I'm like,
she's got to be herself. She doesn't need to have
that weird gimmick attached to it. But I like the
name's fine.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Yeah, don't ask me how I noticed, but it seems
like that's how they're dealing with that. That artist, Sabrina Carpenter,
that's they showed I got outside by side stuff about
about when she debuted. I said, don't ask me how
I noticed, because I'm not. I'm not a fan by
any means. But uh, Blaine, what you thought about the
name change from Mariah Made to Blake Monroe. I mean,
I it's it's not like they even try to keep

(20:59):
it close. I mean, yeah, I did.

Speaker 6 (21:03):
I didn't get it until I read read something a
while afterwards that it was about her niece or whatever.
But when I initially heard it, I never knew anything
about it, Like why, yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
All right, So now we get to the best tag Team.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
Jordan.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
I didn't ask you because I was already got your
opinion on it a long time ago, so I didn't
ask him again. All right, best tag Team. Also, I
don't feel like this has been a year to tack
team either, And that's sad to say, because I love
watching tag team wrestling and has not been exciting so
far this year. But playing who you Got, I.

Speaker 6 (21:39):
Know, unlike you haven't kind of like strictly w WE.
But I don't know how y'all feel about it. But
Street Profits, I like once he made that, he'll turn.
I just I just like everything about it. I think
my tess Ford is a better heel than he is
a face. And also, uh, don't I wish did you go?

(22:00):
Keep going with it? But Andre Day and Ray Phoenix,
that was ah, that was awesome. Tag team metch the
other night by them too.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
I was.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
Alright, got bicker it tough because he could have won
with any of those three tag teams. But I don
go the Hearts. Look, I'm very good in the TNA.
The rivalry they've had with the NEMA brothers. I love
what they've done. It's kind of been a little late
juvenation to the Hardy's career right now in TNA, and

(22:33):
They've made a right decision going there. So I'm gonna
go with them.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
All right, sare you go? I put the New Day okay,
and I am going with Phraxium. Yes, I'm not going
to a w again.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
So it set up being suspect about being hey, I look, aw,
fan is going to end right there because I'm going
Praxium the long rains as the NXT Tag champs before
dropping get a stand and deliver to coming straight to
the main roster making an impact there. Uh, but honestly,
I think you really could have gone anyone else. SmackDown,

(23:12):
because SmackDown has a really good tag division. I mean, man,
it's it's out of this world. I mean you got
d I Y and motor sitting machine guns there, you
got street profits. Uh, the Wyatt six are in there now.
I mean, uh, I think I pretty much do a
free bird role while they're there, you know, with Gaycy
and Loomis, Loomis and rowand if Howdie wants to compete

(23:34):
there as well. I mean, it's it's a four man
show there. I mean there's titles them too. I mean
a SmackDown is where you want to go for a
tag team right now, because their division is absolutely fantastic
right now. But Fraxium, I think, I mean just the
impact they've made an NXT you know, being you know,

(23:55):
tax champs for such a long time and got got
a bit of criticism of who they lost it to.
With Hank and Tank. I really I really didn't know
too much about him, kind of not a big NX tvwer.
But they kind of remind me of Public Enemy and.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
In E c W.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
That's that's what they reminded me of. Hank in Tank. Uh,
just from the way they dressed and whatnot. But yeah,
I mean, phraxium is just a great addition too to
attack team division in W and on SmackDown. So we
did the Male Superstar and now we're doing the Female Superstar.

(24:32):
The year there's been a lot of good ones, and
I mean you could even go from where I was,
you know, bunched on this a W A few there
n X t W. I mean, I mean wherever. I mean, So,
who you got blade?

Speaker 5 (24:47):
I think I think Jargon will agree with me with
this tread.

Speaker 6 (24:54):
There you go, she's been white hot and she's caring
the Smakedown women's division right now.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
Yuh, who you got baking?

Speaker 4 (25:06):
I'm gonna go one that came in like really hot. Stephanie,
you know, won two titles in NXT in the new year.
I think got caught up, uh to raw.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
I'll cut Jordan off for a second, because that's who
I went with as well. Stephanie, you know, winning, you know,
winning those two titles, and NXT caught up as quickly
as she did competing in money in the bank over
with the crowd. Something about me wishes when she got
called to mat or ast her booker two when it
came with her because once she does the Devil's Kiss,
you know, having him on on on the commentary is

(25:43):
it's just pure sentiment to me, but the crowd adding
on to it is really good as well. But Jordan
closes went out, man, who you Got? I Got Tiffany Stratton,
fucking Mercedes, fucking sam mersades and then and then we

(26:04):
have our last a war before we move on to
another topic that I'm just gonna bring up real quick
before we head out of here, and that is the
superstar that is most likely to break out in twenty
twenty five playing Who you Got? Man?

Speaker 6 (26:16):
I actually got two for this one. I think Stephanie
Vakre and uh Rock san Farez. I think both of
them will be uh some breakouts superstars for the rest
of the twenty twenty.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
Five Absolutely how you Got Bagley?

Speaker 3 (26:33):
Too?

Speaker 4 (26:34):
But I'm gonna go with the guy. If you watch
the next t and you like Javon Evans with I'm
going with TNA's version of him, same age, same skills,
Leon's plater. He was on ESPN's Top Plays when he
jumped off the top on the Ultimate X Thing and

(26:57):
almost hit his head. This guy is the few trure
of t NA. Is exhibision.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
All right, who you got Jordan?

Speaker 4 (27:08):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (27:08):
I got a lukewick Kaiser.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
He has not been on TV UH.

Speaker 5 (27:16):
Eighty exactly.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
That's the only time I've reready seen him. And but
but yeah, I mean, uh, last year's Medior Awards, I
picked uh Kaiser as the breakout and unfortunately did not
live it up. But hopefully man, they started doing something
with them, man, because other than you know, like like
Blaine said, snooping around, he hasn't really done much this
year and that sucks because I think he's really talented

(27:40):
for sure.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
But he went from like making his mark to I
want to wrestle Median bat track people for Menian to
just disappear.

Speaker 5 (27:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Yeah, I'm not understanding at all. But I mean I'm
not understanding much booking for much in in thirty and
I'm one that defends uh the criticism against the Triple
H a lot. But I mean, after a while, he's
gotta start addressing, man, because I mean he still hasn't
addressed some stuff that I'm kind of pissed about, which

(28:13):
was taken mania from us. There still hasn't been an
explanation from it.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
Yeah, I mean I was I was getting ready to
buy my tickets and everything.

Speaker 4 (28:22):
Man, I was hoping well with all the rumors that
they do now that they're looking to your like residency
for XT in Vegas because Bentley, they're finishing up the
upgrades at the Apex, the UFC Apex where they can
have whole section just for an XT and they're gonna

(28:46):
start doing stuff there for a couple of months. I
feel like that plays a part of it. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
But I mean, if if if you got to take
it away from us, at least give us a reason.
I mean, he just said, oh, well, oh we're getting
money in the bank that's in August for some reason,
that's gonna be after Summer Slam or something, or Summer
Slim's gonna be later on or or whatever.

Speaker 4 (29:08):
Any Just like with any of they're like, we're gonna
give you, but then in a couple of years, we
will give you. Yeah. At least they gave them, Yeah, at.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
Least they give them a little bit of more of
an explanation us. They didn't give us ship. They said, oh,
we're gonna bring the rock to New Orleans, come out
to the block, is hot and whatnot, and then all
of a sudden say oh, you're getting WrestleMania again. And
then months later, oh, never mind, you know, we're gonna
take it away from you. I'll give it back to And.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
Then they moved money in the bank August, so it's like,
how are you gonna have summer Slam? I didn't have
money in the bank right afterwards.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
Yeah, that's the sad part, man. They think they think
they think that's the constellation that they can give us.
You know, Oh, we're gonna give you all a mania,
but never mind, we're gonna take away give you all
money the bank of all things. Bullshit.

Speaker 5 (29:51):
Man.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
I was eating when those news came out.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
Man, I was.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
I was mad as hell.

Speaker 5 (29:57):
Something that.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
Yeah, I mean, I mean, give us at least one
of the Big four or something like that. Give us
like you know, Survivor series or some Slam or something
like that. But an you gotta give us, or if
you did, it was the Rumbles, not the rumbles I've
been to. We're all in Texas. The ones don't see.

Speaker 6 (30:20):
I've been in Texas then, I've seen the one next
year is gonna be in Rias.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Yes, yeah, but.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
I was reading for them to move. Great, We're gonna
have real rumble.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
And MENI there, Yeah, because we know when the news
came out that they were taking away Mania from US,
I thought, you know, for sure to going either Saudi
Arabia for like you know, two night Mania there, or
they're gonna bring it to the UK, wish to the UK,
to France to wherever somewhere you know, with with with
a great audience and whatnot. But to give it back

(30:58):
to Vegas I thought was a little bit of a
head scratcher. Still is because the crowd was not fantastic whatsoever.
But it's more of a corporate thing. And I and
every week on the show, I always say how corporate
of a company W has become or the sponsors, you know,
looking like the UFC. I mean, that's that's what it's
been since TKO took over.

Speaker 4 (31:17):
It's literally a carbon copy. If you look at how
the Octagon with all the sponsors, it's the same thing.
M that's what WW is doing now. And then with
how they want to set up uh like superstars, film,
earn sports or just celebrities in the front of the

(31:38):
of the what you call it on the outside they
want to showcase.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Then, because I was telling Jordan last week when we
were talking about the pipeine, we were talking about punks,
uh for all those years ago when comparing it to
Senas and I'm like, man, I said, punks looked so
much better, even though that they were in the same
sort of position. They were through a table, but it
was it was kind of hard to think. It's seriously,
whenever see them punk is laying flat in the middle

(32:03):
of a table with the fucking slim GYM logo on it.
It's embarrassing, Dude, that's so embarrassing to look at. Because
they had that fireball ladder at money in the Bank,
they had to have the slim GYM logo on the table.
They have to have like the like the logos on
every part of the ring mad on Turnbok.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
Other match in Menia has a sponsor.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
Yeah, sh it's embarrassing, man. I mean for w b
is the company. I grew up on it. I loved it,
and the corporate part about it is just taking it
away from me. But I'm not that sold about it
to go in to strictly watch aew where there's almost
no storytelling and and they're making matches left and right
that make no sense whatsoever. So w right now is

(32:52):
my is my go to still even with all the
corporate bullshit happening over there and whatnot. But before we
get to our our our main one, my breakout superstar
is the Season one LFG winner, Jasper Troy. He already had,
he already had his match with Oba. And I know

(33:12):
my brother might say something because I've never watched LFG
and he was like a die hard watcher of LFG
and he was he was real sold on on Jasper
Troy and he kept telling me to change your answer.
You did not watch LFG and all that. I'm like,
I don't care. I mean he's still good. I mean
I've seen him in the ring and whatnot. So yeah,
I think I think this guy is going to be

(33:33):
really good. I mean, you could talk about an Oba
Family coming to the main roster whenever he does, or
or pretty much anyone y'all mentioned it, But I mean
Jasper Troy, I mean, for for winning LFG and going
straight towards Oba family, I think is a way that
you trust somebody to make an impact in NXT. And
I think if he continues, then I mean this could

(33:53):
build to something bigger and better for him, Uh, for
the reason.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
I watched the first half of the season and he
could just see he had it just with his demeanor.
He had, he has the height, like, it's just something
about him that draws me to him.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Yeah. And for for someone who's never watched l f G,
I saw that guy is back for a season two.
That that b J ray On, that that that bubb
hates I mean he hates that dude so much, and
then they brought him back for season two.

Speaker 6 (34:27):
That's I haven't watched it, but I've seen the trailer
when uh, when Book of T was going off on uh,
what's the name Michelle McCoo still want to.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
I don't watch it.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:45):
I stopped watching season one when they had Colored Jeames
on it and he had just debuted with of course,
uh the four man group Dark State, and I'm like,
he's on n XT in Dark State, but then he's
on G Yeah. I was like, are you gonna explain this?
And they never did, and I was just like, interests

(35:05):
made their sense for me. Yeah, And she's like, oh,
you're you're gone, we're getting rid of you, and it's
like he's here on NXT. You didn't get rid of him.

Speaker 5 (35:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
No, So so I figured before we get out of here,
I figured that we should cover a little bit of
Night of Champions. I would assume all of us watched it.
I did not watch all the show. I had to
go to a birthday party for one of my friends
little boys. We had to go over there. But I
did catch most of the show. So real quick, I'll

(35:37):
run down the card kind of get you all your
thoughts on on each of them. First was the final
of the King of the Ring tournament with Cody Roads
and Randy Orton. Cody Rhoades, I believe was the favorite
coming into this against Randy Orton, even though Orton was
in his second straight final losing to gun Through last year.
What do y'all make of a Cody winning and now

(35:59):
he's getting another shot at the at the title at
SummerSlam against u Sena.

Speaker 5 (36:07):
I didn't.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
I didn't understand that.

Speaker 5 (36:10):
I didn't understand.

Speaker 6 (36:11):
I didn't really get the finish as well, Like, you
should have just been a clean finish if you're gonna
let Cody win, But I think rand Arch should have
won from the jump.

Speaker 4 (36:24):
What you got? Bakeley quite a bit to say with this,
because he didn't really like the field that he had
for the King of the Ring. You had Jay lose
the title, but then he put him into this. Yeah,
that almost the sense eded with that. Of course, Randy,

(36:44):
he kind of made sense. But then he was in
the finals last year. And then Cody, of course we
knew when he least ninety percent people knew that he
was gonna win, and then like some of the other
people had to see Amy, he kind of made sense.
I feel like, eventually he's going to win the title,
but this wasn't his time mhm. So everybody, like Cody

(37:08):
didn't need to be in it, but we knew who's
gonna do it. But what I liked about that the
match was the ending because she kind of saw the
sadistic side of Randy. He was getting ready to put
him and he missed. He used the chair to be
able to pull the corner pad and off, but then
Cody took advantage of it like that where usually he

(37:31):
probably wouldn't. And then you see Randy kind of pissed
at the end, So he kind of seemed like a
little bit of maybe he's pissed, He's gonna turn a
heel soon because he knows what happened. And then Cody
cut that promo where he was like the hole in
this they've been hole in this title, that's mine, Like
they didn't earn it, I'm gonna take it back. It

(37:52):
was kind of like a heel promo at the end.
So it's like, are we getting too here? Turn at
once with Randy and Cody, but in different aspects, which
could be seen a turning baby base.

Speaker 6 (38:11):
Yeah, that's all I want to actually, So you think
excuse me, so you think Randy would turn hill at
some point, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Yeah, I think so. Yeah, But I also think at SummerSlam,
and I've seen people talking about it on social media,
that we may get a double turn at SummerSlam seeing
a going back face and and Cody going heel, which
I mean would be a major thing to happen. I mean,

(38:40):
I know Seena turning was huge and whatnot, but I mean,
Cody was your full time babyface, and you know he
wasn't He wasn't there whenever, like when whenever seeing the
turning heel, he was like still that part time guy,
you know, even though you knew he was going to
get his shot at Cody at Mania and more than
likely win. Cody's been carrying the company for a while,

(39:04):
so to have your baby face, you know, turn like that.
But if you're gonna turn him, and you know, I
see a lot of people say the same thing. He's
got to dye the hairback to where he was when
he was like in a Ring of honor when he
left w be and he went to Ring of Honor
and he turned heel and and whatnot, you know, joined
the Buller Club in New Japan and whatnot. Yeah, I

(39:25):
think I think that's gonna happen. I think it's gonna
happen at some point because I think the Rock even
spoiled it when he got interviewed on on a Pat
McCabe show saying how Cody's gonna turn heill at some
point or something like that. Yeah, he was getting interviewed
by Kay Adams, I think, and he said the same thing,
how soon, but he was given like a longer time frame.

(39:49):
So I think maybe he's saying that's a kind of
throw people off, you know, saying maybe it might come
a little sooner than normal. I mean, and I gues
see get happened in summers, the big double turn. I mean,
one one's got to happen before a Scena ghost Casina
is given his dates, he has left and it ain't much,

(40:09):
so I would think Sena would maybe want to go
more babyface to finish his run, and I let Cody
have that. He'll run. But Jordan, what was your what
was your take on the first match of the show,
what he can entering?

Speaker 3 (40:22):
Yeah, it was a good match, but uh, I think
that Cody was gonna win win the match.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
Yeah do you now do you agree on the whole
aspect that the double turn? Like seeing the turning back,
you know, uh, Cody going heel? You know what what
that means for Cody going forward? I mean turn fim
turn heel would be a big move.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
Yeah, I can see a double He'll like, Yeah, I
can see it.

Speaker 4 (40:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (40:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
The next match was a match I didn't even know
it was on the card. I didn't watch for all. Uh,
so I didn't know they made this match with Riha
and Rockquel in the street fight. I mean, uh, what
what was your thoughts on it? Because I was actually
getting ready there in this match, so I didn't catch
most but I did catch the end. The rip tied
off the table. A lot of criticism o whias the

(41:14):
raft holding the table. You just said, only a w
does it and whatnot. So yeah, a lot a lot
of tribalism during the end of this match, for sure,
but blame What was your take on the end of it, man,
or just the entire match as a whole.

Speaker 6 (41:29):
I think it was a good match. I don't excuse
I don't think we needed it for that on that night.
It could have probably been a match for Monday night,
Tomorrow night or something like that. But all in all,
it was it was a good match.

Speaker 5 (41:42):
I liked it.

Speaker 4 (41:44):
Yeah, it was good. It was a good match. I
think they had a lot of re juggling because of
the injury to live did a good job. It was
probably one of Raquel's best matches in a while. Ye
had rox sand come in here, and you kind of
played up the fact that they're together now as a team.

Speaker 2 (42:07):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
Yeah, yeah, it was a Yeah. I think it was
a great match. They probably, like Blane said, they probably
could have had it on raw or something.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
It really it was more of a filler I mean
to me. I mean, because when we made our predictions,
this wasn't even a part of it. Like I said,
I I did not watch Raw. I forgot what I
was watching at the time anyways, But yeah, I if
they made dismatch all Raw, which, like I said, I
don't remember if they did or not, or if it
was just a filler in the show or something like that.

(42:44):
It could have been on Raw, but I think adding
it to it, even having rock Sand even coming to
the mix. Also, it was pretty cool, but there was
no way they weren't gonna let Ria go over. I mean,
I don't think her losing would have did any damage
to have rock Hill win. But overall, good match. The

(43:05):
next match was a one I didn't catch because I
did leave as the moment this match was getting ready
to start Sammy Zay carrying Cross. I have zero to
off ron it because I did not watch it. But
I'll let you three go since y'all did blame what
you thought about now well I did.

Speaker 6 (43:21):
I'll want you on that one. I stepped away. I
didn't watch that match as well. I came back towards
the end, but I haven't I don't have any thoughts
on the match.

Speaker 4 (43:32):
I watched it. It was a good match. I just
didn't get the ending. You're finally getting across a match,
and then you have him lose to Sammy who can
lose because you want to build up that kind of
rocky story with them eventually to win that word title.
I just didn't get what do you getting out of

(43:54):
Sammy winning and had a guy that's five WinCE or
twice in the last six months on the on one
of the main tews not counting mean event. I just
didn't get it. But it was a good match.

Speaker 2 (44:09):
Yeah, so so Bigley. I don't mean to go off
off topic here, but are you keeping up with this
USA game with Costa Rica?

Speaker 4 (44:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (44:16):
They're Yeah, they're They're in penalties right now. I'm watching
it right now.

Speaker 4 (44:19):
Three three on the six kick for each steven ed.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
The USA had a chance to win and it got blocked.

Speaker 4 (44:26):
Terrible man.

Speaker 2 (44:27):
Mm hmm, Bjory, what you thought about the man?

Speaker 3 (44:32):
Yeah, Like Bakley said that, I don't I didn't get it.
They should have got kring Cross to win this one.

Speaker 4 (44:39):
M Yeah.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
And that's a classic case of not listening it to
the fans. And I mean that's something that I feel
like W is not very good as listening to the fans.
Do you not hear the ovation for carrying across every
single week and you can't have him go over Justice
one time. I mean, I mean for him to go
over it wouldn't have did any damage just Sammy Zay.

(45:00):
I mean, this would have helped caring across more than anything.

Speaker 4 (45:04):
It makes you wonder is there any intention to resign
him because we know his contract is up to or
have they already like we don't know any of that
of course, but it's like with how they're booking him,
like it makes you question everything, especially with how they
are crowd is with cheering him and just getting all

(45:27):
behind him.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
If they don't sign yeah, he's really good.

Speaker 5 (45:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
I mean, for one, if if you don't resign him,
I think that is a horrible move. And honestly, I
think he could go almost anywhere and and get that opportunity.
I would rather he he didn't because I don't know
if he would get the same reaction everywhere. Oh there
we go. But like I said, he wudn't get the

(46:00):
same reaction everywhere. In my opinion, it's it's gotta be
to me. So maybe he did resign already. Maybe I
don't know. Maybe I don't know. Maybe he did, But
if they don't, I think it's a horrible move, but honestly,
I would have gave him to a W on this one.
I don't think Samy would have lost anything from losing
this match. But it was good storytelling because I thought

(46:23):
this match was gonna happen at Mania, and they say
that all the way to Nighted Champions. So they did
a yeah, and they did a good job with with
keeping this one going because damn, I mean they really
they really drove this one along.

Speaker 4 (46:37):
Because when you look at it Cross, it's been like perfect,
Like anybody that he hues with they kind of turned
heel or they start off the straight path. Yeah, and
it's like except for seeing me, it feels like Yeah.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
Then even carrying Across, matching the hairstyles of who he was,
I was going after a j ad and you know,
a man bun with with Sami and and whatnot. I
thought that was a really creative thing. Also, that's something
I noticed about Carrying Man. He is a really good
creative mind and I and I really hope to capitalize
on this one soon. Man.

Speaker 4 (47:13):
And there's such a hidden town because of his background. Yeah,
and all the all the people that he trains with,
a lot of people don't know that he trains like
m m A. He used to train with Junior Dess
King belasks under all them before he joined, so he
has a lot of town and they can maximize.

Speaker 2 (47:37):
Yeah mm hmm. So this one, I feel like was
the shocker of the night. Uh solo so co winning
at the United States Championship from Jacob Fatu with the
debuting did they change his name? Actually the fuck man?

(48:01):
I would have kept it. I mean, they let him
debut on main events as a hicule, so why not
I keep it. It's a trademark, I mean.

Speaker 4 (48:10):
Yep that they want to trade more, you know, so
they can make money off of it, you know, the
w W WA.

Speaker 2 (48:20):
Yeah, I mean, but the thing is, unless you have
a bigger plan for Jacob fought too, I think this
is one of the more head scratching moves of the night,
taking the title off of him already. I thought this
guy was gonna have a huge round with the title,
like almost similar or even close to being similar than
what Gunther did with the ice title, breaking the honk
toong Man's record and whatnot. And they pulled off of

(48:40):
him already, So that was confusing to me.

Speaker 5 (48:45):
I think for.

Speaker 4 (48:46):
Solo because he's done such a great job with the
character change. This is a guy that was fun with
Room and then nice view. They for some reason every
year they leave him off of the WrestleMania, which I
think is a crime, and then you have him do

(49:07):
this just for everybody to be pissed because it's Chicka
Pa two and Chickapa two is a monster. I love
Chickabot two, but they just put Solo in the wrong
position yet again here because it's finally in that title
and it's not gonna matter because people are backlashing against
it because Cha two is just one of those gems

(49:30):
that you need to push and make them look like
a beast.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
Yeah yeah. And then for one, I'm I'm also a
happy Solo one because, like you said, the character work
that he has done has been fantastic to change from
that serious tribal chief gimmick which he lost to Roman
and the Netflix debut, to go in more like towards
like a comedic character, but staying sort of you know,

(49:57):
sort of similar to like to the tribal chief character
that he was doing, but he's adding comedy as well
to trying to you know, boost his personality a little
bit with the audience, and I think he's catching on
to a lot of people, and he's catching on to
me as well. But uh yeah, it was more of
a head scratching move to me. I thought they were

(50:19):
gonna do something bigger with Jacob, and it.

Speaker 4 (50:23):
Scratcher is the fact that they had the same type
of guy on the same team. You got Jeff Tob
and then you got hiccol Yeah. And of course I
think my thought process is because Tom of tong Get
is hurt, they had to replace him somehow to make
the team like a four man team, so they just

(50:45):
put Hico on there with Cob and the same guy.
So it's getting like, like it just doesn't make sense
because you're not gonna be able to use a tag
team out of that until Tom comes. But then when
he comes back, what are they gonna do to kind
of fix it?

Speaker 2 (51:05):
Yeah, And the sad part is I feel like that
this goes to a lot of the by audience and
I feel like that they only strictly watched WWE because
they don't get much of a reaction from the guys
that worked outside of the company for so long, like whenever,
like whenever, Toanngolo would debuted it From what I'm not saying,
he deserved the biggest pop of the night, but I

(51:26):
mean it was it was kind of a dad reaction.
Same thing when Jeff Cobb debuted, it wasn't that big
of a reaction. Same thing for for Hiceleu, it wasn't
that big of a reaction either. So I feel like
these these these people will only watch Derbe and that's
all they watch. I think everything that that anything else
is like, oh no, that's not good. I can't watch that,

(51:46):
and they don't get a bigger reaction. And I think
these guys deserve a bigger reaction. I thought I thought
Jeff Cobb deserved a bigger reaction of what he got.
Same thing for Hiceleu, I thought he deserved a really
bigger reaction. And fucking Michael cole is butchering the name
so bad when he debuted. I'm like, dude, just kind
of get it out and just say who he is.

(52:07):
I mean, even if you say his wrong name, even
say hey, say Hickoleu, you can and you can correct
it on raw. I mean, say something at least, but
blame What was your take on the whole match, man, Like,
did you find it more of a head scratching move
or you're happy to put it on Solo, you know,
being that Solo's character has deserved a championship for so
long and he just haven't pulled the trigger on it.

Speaker 6 (52:29):
Man, I liked the match in the entirety. The only thing,
excuse the only thing I didn't like it's Tangaloa coming back.

Speaker 5 (52:37):
You just need to go back and ride there. Lower
rider used to ride back in there. It's just he
can't wrestle, man. He just he can't get over it.
I don't. I don't know why he's still trying to
bring him on.

Speaker 6 (52:49):
Well I know why they're trying to bring him on,
but it's just, oh, it's just he was the only
reason why I didn't really care for the match. I'm
happy for Solo finally getting that strap mm hm, but
like you said, it was I think it was just
too early to take it off of fat too right now.

Speaker 2 (53:05):
Yeah, Tongolo coming back, I feel like it was more
adding to like maybe the comedic stuff because all the
jokes that are being thrown around, like on social media
about him and whatnot. So yeah, I mean other than that.
I mean, I I don't see why you bring Tongo
over there at all.

Speaker 6 (53:23):
And I've been waiting for his debut for a while
and I wished he'll keep the name. I don't, I
don't I would like the name change at all.

Speaker 2 (53:34):
Yeah, and it seems like that's that's therough out there
going because on the post show to even put it
at the bottom that the Atala Tonga or whatever it seems.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
Like it is.

Speaker 2 (53:45):
And then and at that part is when he debuted
on the main event they put so, so, how are
you gonna explain that like that name changed? You should
have never let him debut on main events if you're
gonna change his name. So now you're confusing everybody again.

Speaker 5 (53:58):
I guess because it wasn't it wasn't TV, so I
guess they couldn't get away with it.

Speaker 2 (54:02):
I guess I'm not sure, maybe so, But I mean, yeah,
I'm real happy Solo's character finally has a championship to
put forward. But George, once you thought about the matchman,
because you text me right after the match was over,
You're like, man, that was crazy.

Speaker 3 (54:18):
Yeah, I'm happy for Solo the winning, But yeah, Jacob
Fato is just a Monster, like y'all said.

Speaker 2 (54:26):
I mean, if you got to take the title off
of him already unless you have a chance to put
it back on him, even get him in that world
title picture, I don't know so much how you do
the world title picture, being that he's on SmackDown and
at a title picture is shifting the Summer Slam with
Sina and Cody, So I don't so. I don't know
how you put Jacob in that or if you have
them rematching a Summer Slam or or something like that.

(54:51):
But yeah, as much of a head scratching move it was,
I do think it's it was really cool to give
Solo something he's deserved for so long, even after saying
that his character is basically buried. After the match the
Tribal Combat match with with Roman on the Netflix debut,
a lot of people said once that was over, they said,
may his character is done, like he's not gonna he's

(55:14):
not gonna go from here at all, And it proved
a lot of people wrong, changed up the character a lot,
added some comedy to it, and even won the title
from it.

Speaker 4 (55:21):
So I gotta give so because there was supposed to
be him and Knight. I mean and then they switched
it to two and because of the big collution.

Speaker 2 (55:33):
Around yeah, and and And the sad part is they
said they took so long to debut Jacob because they
feared that he was gonna be bigger than Solo.

Speaker 3 (55:42):
And uh.

Speaker 2 (55:44):
They were right. I mean they were one hundred percent right.
And that's crazy, man. But I I did not expect
Jacob to break out so fast like he did. But man,
he is so fun to watch.

Speaker 5 (55:55):
What about that? Uh, give him the tweet, give me
a call.

Speaker 2 (56:02):
And it seems like it seems like you, like you
don't know who is trying to get back with w
or get to w W. Uh sooner if it's Zilla
or or Matt Cardona. You know, Cardona's mentioning w every
so often on on social media. He is posting the
hey John Cena thing, even making t shirts with it

(56:24):
and whatnot. So this man is really trying to come back.

Speaker 1 (56:28):
To w W.

Speaker 6 (56:29):
And that's what Uh, that's what Kevin Owen saying on
the podcast. It's so much you trying to stay away.
You always mentioned in.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
W W, I know when it comes to the King
of the Indies. But man, he's he's trying to come
back more than either right now and Azila I saw
put the phone emoji and whatnot. So I mean I
think I think at some point they do bring him in,
but adding on to the oh, how many do they like?
Some omens do they need over there and and whatnot.

(56:56):
So I mean, but for one, I think I think
Zilla would make a cool addition to de W, But
I think he still needs a little more work to
make it there. I mean, because I mean, you can't
bring him with or just in the experience and some
GCW appearances and automatically going to the main roster in W.

Speaker 4 (57:14):
He wouldn't He wouldn't fit right now to no, No.

Speaker 2 (57:20):
Because I mean the only thing that you're adding on
is that his ties to Maga, and that's it. I mean.
So I mean, if you're going on, if you're going
based off of that, I mean, then I think you
need to do something more, because I mean, he's not
ready and there's no story that needs Xilophon two right
now at all.

Speaker 4 (57:40):
Because I feel like the way they're going with the
story is probably because you got Jacob and even you've
got big gym there, you're probably going to get Jay
back against the girls of destiny.

Speaker 2 (57:55):
Yeah, yeah, true, and uh is is a tamatong still hurt?

Speaker 5 (58:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (58:01):
You see, I figure that.

Speaker 3 (58:06):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (58:06):
Then another match did I miss? But I heard it
was sort of a sloppy finish? Was the Queen at
the Ring Final Jade Cargill beating Oscar? Is it as
sloppy as a finish is what people are saying because
I still didn't see it too much.

Speaker 4 (58:19):
It's just it's just the way she pinned her sloppy.
Everything else is good. The match was good. Uh, still
looks great since she came back. Jade is really improving
since she started. I think that time away and then
having the time to practice at the performance center has

(58:41):
done her tremendously better than when she came in.

Speaker 2 (58:46):
Yeah right, yeah, yeah. Like I said, I didn't watch
the match, but a lot of people criticizing the end
of it, you know, the pan and whatnot, how silent
it was after that it was over, you know, not
much of a pop and whatnot. But I mean, I
I commented on on Circle Debates stream yesterday and I

(59:08):
asked a question, I mean, I feel like that's their
out there going with it with with Jade winning, she'll
obviously get her title match, she'll probably win it, and
then Naomio Cash in and like right away to kind
of spite her and win it from her. That seems
like the route they would go with the Naomi feud. Still,
I'm sure going after Jade Cargill to kind of spite

(59:29):
her from the attack and everything.

Speaker 4 (59:32):
I almost feel like they missed a chance with the
winner because I do like the Jade. It's a perfect
thing for Jade to get her something right now. And
I almost feel like it's a foregone conclusion that they're
going to have Naomi cash when she wins or when

(59:54):
she's about to win, to continue that storyline. And on
the rocks you got Eosky who teased the thing with Oscar,
and I don't know if you know, but eo Sky
hasn't defended that title since she won it at Menia No.
And it's almost been three months. Oh yeah, it's been
three months, so it's like, what's going on there? You

(01:00:17):
can have Oscar win? Yeah, maybe Naomi is the reason,
m but I see why, I see why they did it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
It just yeah, yeah, I mean this has been everybody.
I feel like for w the champions have not been
having the best booking, Like people criticized Jay when he
won a title and when they finally lost it, people
were wanted to throw a parade when he lost the title,
and I say, oh, but the booking has been bad.

(01:00:46):
I mean, booking has been terrible. Same thing whenever Lyra
Valkyria was Women's Icy Champion, booking was terrible there, and
I feel like that was really her big breakout moment
was winning that, and I feel like she was doing
of her best work, but the booking made her look
very stale, and that's I feel like they said, oh, Okay,
we're gonna put it on Becky. Then the same thing

(01:01:09):
when Gunther had his first reign with the world title
and really his his reign so far, and it might
end at Sirenized made event when Goldberg if if Goldberg beats.

Speaker 5 (01:01:20):
Them for it, as well as dropping the US title.

Speaker 2 (01:01:25):
Yeah, I feel like I feel like that was the
route they should have went, though. If you have Zelena
beating Julia, I mean, yeah, that's not great.

Speaker 4 (01:01:34):
And I heard the rumor was they were gonna do
EO and live for the title, and that's why she
still hasn't defended because got hurt. So sure, I think
it was gonna be at the show, the show, That's
what it was gonna be. So that's probably why Ria
and Raquel was put onto the show. Was that mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
And then it seems like the route they were going
when before the injury was live and maybe Nikki bella
evolution and and we're being robbed at out as well.

Speaker 4 (01:02:07):
But major changes happened into that card because.

Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
Yeah, yeah, and a card that has nothing on it
yet I don't think at all in this the day
after Saturday's events, we do have we do have j C.

Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
Jane and.

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
Okay, yeah, yeah, they're the only one we got so far,
and I mean that should be the one you put
put the title on Jordan Grace. I mean, why wouldn't you.
She already failed once against Stephanie and.

Speaker 1 (01:02:36):
And j C.

Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
D Thrones are like the next show.

Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, then you know she's getting
caught up.

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
Yeah yeah, I know. And then the main event is
when I did watch, I did watch the whole match.
I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for more
people to get there for the party because own got
the people who hope the party weren't there on time.
So I have time to watch it. Yeah, I know, yeah,
but no, it was it was good, it was fun,

(01:03:10):
it was it was as as a pace that you
would expect with a John Cena see him Punk match
in twenty twenty five. Uh, these guys are not in
their in their early twenties anymore. I mean, these guys
are older now. You know, it's a pace you expected,
But I didn't care for what happened daring it. You know,

(01:03:33):
it's their last time fighting. I would prefer a clean finish,
even though I didn't think either Superstar can afford a
clean finish with Punk or with Sena. But Rollin's got
involved and Dan Pant randomly comes out. He comes off
with the saved bes doing his slow walk to the
to the ring, and I'm like it kind of it

(01:03:54):
kind of reminded me when Jeff Hardy debut and ae W.
You know, Matt's getting his ass kicked and he's Dan
since that ring the whole time in a w Uh.
But if one Pensa I didn't think was really needed
much to I feel like there's a lot of unnecessary
stuff there in that match. And then Charles Robinson got
blown up by Sena when he was coming how.

Speaker 4 (01:04:15):
Long that Bronson Reid was kneeling down for all that,
Like yeah, people like what is he doing? You got
all that's going on? And Bronson reads just in front
of I think seen it, just kneeled.

Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
Down, Yeah, and uh yeah it ended and in the
same way most punk matches happened with Rollins screwing him
out of it. I didn't think we were gonna get
a cash in at all. I didn't think the time
was right for a cash in. I think the cash
in could possibly happen at San i S main event

(01:04:48):
if Goldberg does win the title from Gunther. I I
don't think that would be the right and move. I
want Gunther to actually have a good rain with it
with better booking, because what's gonna happen with the booking.
I mean, if if Rollins wins, it is going to
be get booked better as a champion than Gunther was,
than Jay was or anything like that. If this, if

(01:05:09):
this is being booked as Goldberg's last match and he
wins the title, you know, damn well, we're getting cash in.
So I think they backed themselves into a corner by
advertising it as his last match.

Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
Do you think that they can have a failed cashion
because Punk could cost him.

Speaker 5 (01:05:25):
Oh I hope that happens.

Speaker 4 (01:05:30):
They're they're continuing the storyline again, so he cost Punk
from winning the title, just like Punk kind of cost
him at last year. That's what keeps this going is
these you're keeping me from winning this and that yeah,
good thing to get him back is from having him

(01:05:53):
trying to cash in. He goes, doesn't it, But then
Punk is the reason he does, and you get a
fair passion. I was just gonna say, And the one
pet peeve of mine right now is how many people
are set feud him with. You got Punk, you got

(01:06:13):
Roman at l A Knight to the mix because it's
l A Knight a little bit.

Speaker 5 (01:06:19):
It's like.

Speaker 4 (01:06:21):
Penta. It's like, what are they gonna do. It's like,
this is a great thing where you have a lot
of storylines, but then it's like when you do too many,
it's like it could go wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:06:36):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 5 (01:06:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:06:39):
I think if they if they go there round, then
Goldburg will hold a belt into Summer Slam and then
he go.

Speaker 5 (01:06:44):
Drive for dem.

Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
If Goldberg wins the title, I probably won't watch until Summer.
Sound That's how I am. He is.

Speaker 4 (01:06:53):
He is retiring after this match, So no matter what happens,
say he won wins the title, he's just gonna vacate it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
Yeah, tournaments, the whole last tournament's crowned you champion when
he h we could have just kept it on going
through the whole time.

Speaker 4 (01:07:12):
And somehow they do a fair cash and somehow we
get Dounther and l A. Knight at SummerSlam and l wins.
He should have won it already in my opinion.

Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but honestly, but uh but uh, George,
what you thought about the main event with Seeinga and Punk.

Speaker 3 (01:07:37):
It was a good match, but the finish, the finish
was kind of not not great with the panther coming
out and all that.

Speaker 2 (01:07:47):
Yeah, I mean, like I said, a lot of unnecessary
stuff happened during it. And but I feel like with
how many people like y'all mentioned, with the amount of
people of Rollin's is feuding with, I feel like it
was weird that like LA and I didn't come out
during the match or something like that. But if you're
gonna let him win the briefcase when someone else could
have won it, like l A and Knight win and

(01:08:09):
get actually this time when he should have wont it,
what like two years ago, he should have wont it,
but he was like super super over and that's whenever
priest want it. And then and Rollins wins it this time,
and you're gonna have him either fail to cash in
due to how many people he's feuding with right now,
screw him just kinda screw him out of it, or

(01:08:34):
I mean, if he doesn't cash in, Saturnity's main event.
If Goldberg does win that match against Gune, through which
I pray it doesn't happen, but I feel like, I
feel like the perfect scenario if if Goldberg is to
win it is is it's in Atlanta. I'm pretty sure
his son will be there, you know, winning and celebrating
with his son. And then that's when Rolins comes out

(01:08:55):
and Goldberg gets his ass swept by Bronson and uh
and a brown Breaker, bron Breaker gives him, you know,
really big spirit. I feel like bron has the best
spear right now, and it's just un much of enthusiasm.
He gives the spear like he did to Carlito, like
he did to Chad Gable, like he does every time

(01:09:16):
he runs around the ring, and he spears somebody with
everything he has.

Speaker 4 (01:09:21):
I feel like, take the spear off of everybody and
just let him have it, right show a couple of
days ago.

Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
Yeah, I kind of feel like, you know, as many
times as Roman can do it, as many times as
as a Jay gives us that half assed speirit that
he does, or anyone that does a spear currently right now,
I feel like that that they should not do it
no more simply because bron just does it so well.

Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
And.

Speaker 4 (01:09:49):
They've just announced for a roll and Seem versus Breaker
and Red.

Speaker 5 (01:09:55):
I was just about to call it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:58):
I'm about to call it h Yeah, could yeah, because
even even even Sammy got involved in all of ruckus
at the at the end of the show too. So yeah,
ra All's gonna be good tomorrow. That's the why I
moved the show to tonight because Rall would be on
the same time as as we would be on tomorrow.
So yeah, we will be checking that out as well

(01:10:19):
for sure. But uh, that'll do it for the show,
unless you'll have something else you'll want to bring up
any more topics anything like that, right.

Speaker 4 (01:10:30):
The only thing I would say is when do you
think Roman comes back?

Speaker 5 (01:10:34):
Yes? A good question.

Speaker 2 (01:10:37):
I mean this one doesn't matter. I mean, he comes back,
stays for a couple of weeks and then and then
a couple of months after we're gonna get that big
return graphic that we got and we always get lead.

Speaker 4 (01:10:48):
And apparently they're gonna be start filming at and.

Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
Yeah, I mean I feel like I feel like Roman's
going that same rock route, you know, going Hollywood on
us and we gonna see him much more and whatnot.
So yeah, I mean from what I think, we'll see
him come back at some point. But in what capacity
does he come back? You know, who does he target
once he comes back? You know, do you insert him
into something like with the whole Rolins thing, you know,

(01:11:17):
or do you or do you let him go back
to SmackDown even though you know Netflix he pretty much
wants Roman there and go towards the solo thing again,
you know, you know, recycling that story.

Speaker 4 (01:11:27):
Or I want to see do something with Breaker at
SummerSlam where he puts Breaker over.

Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
I would like to. I would like that a lot,
because I for one thing, Breaker he deserves that sort
of when Yeah, you know, if if he goes against
someone like Roman, I think that would be really good.

Speaker 4 (01:11:47):
Where heat Breaker can take him off p D again
because apparently it's fear by Breaker takes Rooman off TV
for like three or four months.

Speaker 2 (01:11:57):
It's crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:11:59):
But other than Roman, who can give who can give
a break? Or that that victory?

Speaker 2 (01:12:07):
I don't know. I really don't know. Other than Roman,
I really don't know about this point.

Speaker 4 (01:12:13):
Yeah, because seeing it and Odi you are on spack Down,
these brand split things really don't make sense anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
But yeah, yeah, I mean, have they even talked about
a draft at all? Because I feel like they shouldn't
bring that up at all because it doesn't make sense.

Speaker 4 (01:12:33):
It's supposed to be after it was supposed to be
before Backlash, and then they moved it and then the
room is they've been saying after SummerSlam because they wanted
to rate until smack Down moved to two hours.

Speaker 2 (01:12:50):
Or just don't have it at all, because the brand
split doesn't mean anything at all, so why have it.

Speaker 5 (01:12:58):
Said.

Speaker 4 (01:12:59):
I've always said the would be everybody available for both shows,
but half the champions just stay on that ship because
then it'll be poor. Like if you're a Spackdown champion,
you only on SmackDown Champions Raw, but then everybody else
can go anywhere.

Speaker 3 (01:13:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
But but the thing is is that I I used
to remember how big the draft used to mean. So
the actual brands, like whenever Sena got drafted to Raw,
when it was like Chris Jericho was like show on
Raw and he got drafted the first pick to Raw
and how big of a pop that got. Man, you
don't see that nowadays.

Speaker 5 (01:13:39):
Got drafted and SmackDown and he was all pissed off.

Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
Yeah, or why.

Speaker 4 (01:13:45):
You would have a Raw pay per viewer and then
the next month would be smacked Down and then before
it would be co Yeah, until they started doing up.
We got to do two pay per views a month
and it was too much, and.

Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
They and even attempted that when they smacked Live started happening,
they were doing the Raw SmackDown branded shows, and then
it all went to nothing because the brands's pretty much
dead and now everything is it's all together now. So yeah,
I even says, right now we're on the road to evolution.

(01:14:18):
Satay's main event is more excited for evolution. I hope
they make it a two or three hour event. Let
the women shine that day and bring a Marigo and
TNA involved. But we'll see.

Speaker 4 (01:14:29):
I got so much because you got that, you got
that Sunday, you've got Great American Bash and Saturday night
mean event the same day and all in it's that
weekends can be crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
So Saturday it's made event. Do you think that or
or Evolution has to say? Do you think that they
should defend the Knockouts Women's Championship as well they're being
at the partnership is already there.

Speaker 4 (01:14:55):
Yeah, I agree, I think they should do that if
they weren't doing the week after at Slammiversary.

Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
Yeah, it just wouldn't It would make your own time and.

Speaker 4 (01:15:11):
Supper Slam of t n A.

Speaker 5 (01:15:13):
But there's something where.

Speaker 3 (01:15:15):
You can like.

Speaker 4 (01:15:18):
Somebody there that'd be right.

Speaker 5 (01:15:22):
Yeah. Hey, I'm not a I don't really watch t
n A, but itsn't Matt Cardona on.

Speaker 4 (01:15:26):
Tn A right now. He is, but he's not signed.
He's just they do him by the appearance or whatnot.

Speaker 6 (01:15:33):
Like Yeah, I'll say it'd be cool if he just
jumped ship for sure, or to on on the main
roster to try to help see him.

Speaker 5 (01:15:45):
Yeah, I don't know, I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:15:47):
Just they just had they just had him get attacked
by dark Sleet.

Speaker 2 (01:15:53):
Yeah yeah, but uh, all right, Well i think I
think that will do for this for this live stream, guys,
I want to thank y'all a lot for coming on
with us, come and hang out with me and Jordan.
I would like to have you along a lot more
often if y'all are able to. But let's let's see

(01:16:13):
where they can find you on social media. Blaine, I'll
start with you first.

Speaker 6 (01:16:17):
Uh, I said at the beginning of the show. I'm
double dipping in the podcasts.

Speaker 5 (01:16:22):
So I'm doing.

Speaker 6 (01:16:24):
Three and two count is high School podcast we do
with high school coaches around the state of Louisiana, just
trying to get the coaches exposure and stuff like that
today programs and as soon, very soon, we should be
starting out with Ability Back Wrestling podcast. Just basically just
trying to share wrestling to the world man, just out

(01:16:46):
the local area for sure.

Speaker 5 (01:16:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
And if y'all ever want to do a crossover with
Jordan and I, let us know you're down to join you.
Oh yeah, absolutely, so, I said, Bake can where can
they find you that? Man?

Speaker 4 (01:17:03):
You can find me on Twitter at kg i Q
and also at the Ringside Picks of course, and if
you see the comments Circle Debate, I'm part of the
Circle Debate family. I'm usually on every Tuesday when I'm
not working late with Justin for the NXT watch alongs,
and then you can also find me on Jojo Chabeat's

(01:17:26):
Talking New Japan. We're gonna be doing a show this week,
and then we're gonna be doing our G One Climax
preview next week because that starts in a couple of
weeks where I'm gonna be going crazy trying to watch
over like one hundred matches for the g One for
July and August. So check out the stuff on Circle Debate.

Speaker 2 (01:17:49):
Absolutely speaking a Circle of Debate, I am on vacation
from work this upcoming week, and that's that's typically some
of the reasons why I don't come on someone to
watch alongs is because I gotta get up early for
work and not. But being that I don't next week,
I may want to join some of them, so it
can be on the lookout because I may I may
