weekend of wrestling, a great weekend of sports. I know
I didn't have a great weekend of sports. The Saints
and LSU stunk it up this weekend for me unfortunately.

We only had one show this weekend, and we'll start
off with that. But first, Jordan, before you pop that up,
before we get into anything, I just quickly want to
give thanks to everyone who tuned in last week, whether
you tuned into the live stream, watched the replay, watched

if you listen to the audio, and whatnot. I just
thought of comment as well. I'll pop that up in
a second. But yeah, for anyone who watched last week,
to replay the livestream, listened to the audio, anything, we
are truly thankful for that. I know it's been some
weekends or some weeks of cancellations and whatnot, but that's

get into our wrestling. First, we got my sister tuning in,
We got Jordan's mom tuning in, and I knew he
was gonna be there. My brother is tuning in as well,
so this should be fun. So let's get into our
first topic, and that is of course nxteen No Mercy

that aired live disc past Saturday from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
I'm gonna run down to match card, but I have
a special topic for the main event, so I will
keep that separate from that. First we had Javon Evans
defeated Josh Briggs in the opening match. Soul Ruka defeated

Jada Parker for the Women's Speed Championship. It was supposed
to be Laney Reid. Laney read out with injuries, so
Jada Parker took her spot and Solruka won. Jordan Grace
defeated Blake Monroe and a WEAPONI still cage match. Ethan
Page defeated Tavian Heights to retain at the North American Championship,

and j C. Jane defeated Lolevice to retain the NXT
Women's Championship. Like I said, the main event will keep
on a separate topic. But Jordan, I'll start off with
you first on this one. This was a really good
show I find for a small crowd. I know NXT
has been doing some bigger crowds, but this was a
very small crowd in Fort Lauderdale. But but aside from

the main event, you know, what is your take on
the whole show.

You know, did it live up to the expectations?

Yeah, I think it.

Yeah, it was a really good show.

Like you said, not that many fans, so yeah, Javana
average you you already know that it was gonna be
a high flying match with.

For the speed title. I don't know why they have
the speed title because it sucks U during Grace and them, Man,
that was a wild match, like Blake Monroe was cutting
her hair mm hm yeah. Ethan Page and them was good,
pretty good. Uh yeah, lola Ice should have won that match,

But let me ask you this, and Ilex Blaine as
well to kind of to get his thoughts as well.
But Blaine, I assume you watched the show on Saturday. Okay,
someone attacked lola Ice in that match? Who is it?
Because because because the Jasmine Nicks is no longer part
of the B and she's no longer in a Fatal Attraction,
someone attacks lola Ice. I mean, I mean, I have

a name, because it's been rumored that she's the name
that is with Fatal Constraction, But honestly, who do you
all think it is?

I've been scratching my brain since I watched it, like
who could be like this this time? You can't normally
guess like who's behind the masks or whatnot, But now
I honestly don't know who.

Yeah, the only name, the only name I've really been
seeing was Laney Reed. She was supposed to be in
a speed match, she gets knocked out for injuries, suddenly
out with injury, and now they're talking that she could
be the newest.

So now she could be behind the masks who took
out Lola Ice and helped Jacy Jane retain the title.
And that's the only name I could really see being
a potential new member with Jasmin Nick's being out of
the company now.

But who excuse me, who contract ended previously that may
be proudly debuting.

That's my only question.

See, I really don't know. I have no idea, and
because for one, the only name that makes sense is
Laney Reid as the newest member. But I mean, it
could be a different way to bring in someone new
to the company.

I guess I really have no idea, but I think
I think, I think Laney Reid is it's like the
name that I am kind of zeroing in on. But
for the rest of the show, Blaine, uh for minus

whole show?

I think I thought it was It was a good show.

I honestly think it was better than uh Russell for Loser,
if you asked me, I didn't think Uh Monroe had
that that meat streaking blake whoever, she she did good.
She Uh that's what we wanted to I think I
can't believe about saying this, but that's what we wanted
to see when she.

Was in n XT.

But I don't know, it just it didn't come out.

But other than that, it was a great match. Javan Evans,
he's got a got the rocket ship on his back.
He just gotta gotta take him to the next level.

Agree javan Evans, I feel like he's that next big
star in NXT. Being with what we're going to talk
about in a second, I think I think he is
that next big star. I think who could take on
something in NXT. With Ricky Saints winning the title, I
think he could be next due up for some sort
of championship.

North American NXT whatever.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Justin said, if they were just going to add a
new member, I don't understand the weeks of teasing the
Fatal Influence split. I don't understand it either. But the
Jasmine Nicks departure came out of nowhere, being that they
just you know, she saw they saw her backstage, you know, attacked,
and they said, oh, well, we're gonna get rid of
her anyway. And then it was like news reported like
right after that her contract was was up with the company.

She wasn't you know, interested in resigning, and I don't
even know she's gonna wrestle anymore.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
It's like she just lost her passion for it right away.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
So yeah, I mean, like I said, that's the only
name I could really see is Laney Reid, being that
she was supposed to be in that speed match and
she was out of it and now she could be
in Fatal Influence, which I don't I don't. I don't
really like it. But the rest of the show, Yeah,
Javon Evans is fantastic, Soul Ruka and Jada Parker. I

wish it was for the North American Championship. Being that,
I feel like we would have got a way better
match out of it. But it was a speed match,
so it was only five minute time limit because it
was for a title. Jordan Grace and Blake Monroe delivered
as expected. Blake Monroe, this was honestly the best I've

seen her. Jordan Grace. I'm sure at some point she'll
be main roster bound. I don't really think she needed
to be an NXT really at all. She could have
been one of those ones that she signed on and
went straight to the main roster. Ethan Page, I find
he is one of the best signings for NXT in

a very long time, and he has proven it with
character work, with rest work. I just see him as
a total package. I don't see him losing that title
anytime soon. And yeah, the j C. Jane match, it
ended very confusing because we're all still trying to figure
out who that person was.

But I agree with Jordan.

I think Olvi should have won for sure, because she
has had her opportunity time and time again and she
hasn't won it. But yeah, I mean it was a
great show. Like to get to the main event, it
was a great show for NXT.

It was a really good show, you know, I find
it was great. But let's get to the main event. Jordan,
you could pop the next one up. And obviously we
saw Ricky Saints. He defeated Oba Fami. Oba Family held
the NXT title for I think two hundred and seventy
something plus days to eighty whatever, close to three hundred.
And I said that he was gonna be someone who

was given that Oscar treatment. I didn't think he was
gonna drop it at all. And I was shocked that
they pulled the trigger on Ricky Saints.

I was happy they did.

It's the only good thing that came out of New
Orleans this weekend, being with the Saints losing and whatnot.
But yeah, that was like, yeah, that was really good.

I was surprised the way he won multiple Tornado DDT's
was was what took out Oba Famy of all people
that surprised me. That was the biggest surprise is that
it took a Tornado DDT to be Oba Fami. So

you have to put him against the biggest name just
to get him out there. So is a moment if

Oh yeah, it was a great match.

I was happy that Ricky Saint swan and oh yeah,
I think yeah, like Blank said, don't put him against
like anybody small, like put him against somebody like pretty

All right, Yeah, the match was great. Like I said,

a loop, because you know, someone as big as Oba Fami,
I didn't think that was gonna take come out. But honestly,
the match was great. It was executed perfectly to pass
that torch to Ricky Saints. And and then of course

the moment, you know, Ricky Saints won the title. Uh,
the iw C blowing up saying Tony fumble, Tony fumbled, whatnot?
Keeping Ricky Saints and catering doing nothing. He goes to
NXT and he already wins the North American title, and uh,
did you win a North American title?

I about to say, yeah, that's true, that's true, that's true.
And of course now he's an NXT champion. But then
of course you have the people in the IWC saying, oh,
you have a thirty five year old superstar winning NXT's
world title. I say, look at everyone else's won the

NXT title. We had Bobby Rude winning it like in
his late thirties. You had Samoa Joe winning it, Adam
Cole winning it. Yeah, yeah, I mean so it's just
it's just it's just pointing fingers, you know, trying to
be picky and and whatnot. But I thought it was great.
It was a great match. It was a great way
to take the title off of Oba fame, and yes,

I I will answer the next one saying, yes he
is Maine roster bound, but how soon is he Maine
or Aster bound is my question. If you're gonna do
it right away, then I agree with the both of you.
You got to put him against someone that's big, put
him against the best of the best already to keep
that momentum for Oba Fami going. If you're gonna wait
a little bit to debut him, then we've been on

a conversation for weeks about who could be potentially Johnsen's
final opponent. I affirmed that Johnsen is not gonna He's
not gonna win his final match because the last person

I was gonna say, if you think about it, nobody
when they retired, when was their last match? They always

Yeah, because because I look on on social media and

The last person that in in recent memory that has
had a retirement match against someone they didn't have a
retirement tour, but they had a retirement match was Kurt
Angle at WrestleMania against Baron Corbyn and of course everyone
and he lost. Yeah, I don't do so for what.
I don't think John Cena is gonna win his final match. Now,
granted it's at Saturday Night's main event. I think that's

Yeah, the refs are taught to count to three no
matter what, and and when everyone's attacking the referee, which
which I'm not for online harassment for anyone going after
this referee for this and that. Everyone makes mistakes, so
I'm not want to fault anybody for anything. You know,

she'll learn from it. She's a pro. I've seen her
in big matches before.

But I'm seeing video surfacing on the Internet of of
refs having to do a three count whenever that winner
was supposed to happen. I saw one from an NXT
takeover years ago when when Emma she was going against
I think, I think Becky and I think whoever, and
she ended up winning when she wasn't supposed to win.

And but the ref is taught to count. Ivan says
bach Mania running a wild It's yeah, I agree. Ryan
says that Charles Robinson an interview recently said counting is
no longer a shoot. They're basically told to stop to
count now. Always sat on the Cris Van each show.

on Netflix, they said there's about five different people in
their ear, so they probably didn't hear that whatever.

Jada Parker for the Women's Speed Championship. It was supposed
to be Laney Reid. Laney read out with injuries, so
Jada Parker took her spot and Solruka won. Jordan Grace
defeated Blake Monroe and a WEAPONI still cage match. Ethan
Page defeated Tavian Heights to retain at the North American Championship,

and j C. Jane defeated Lolevice to retain the NXT
Women's Championship. Like I said, the main event will keep
on a separate topic. But Jordan, I'll start off with
you first on this one. This was a really good
show I find for a small crowd. I know NXT
has been doing some bigger crowds, but this was a
very small crowd in Fort Lauderdale. But but aside from

the main event, you know, what is your take on
the whole show.

that next big star. I think who could take on
something in NXT. With Ricky Saints winning the title, I

Justin said, if they were just going to add a
new member, I don't understand the weeks of teasing the
Fatal Influence split. I don't understand it either. But the
Jasmine Nicks departure came out of nowhere, being that they
just you know, she saw they saw her backstage, you know, attacked,
and they said, oh, well, we're gonna get rid of
her anyway. And then it was like news reported like
right after that her contract was was up with the company.

She wasn't you know, interested in resigning, and I don't
even know she's gonna wrestle anymore.

It's like she just lost her passion for it right away.

So yeah, I mean, like I said, that's the only
name I could really see is Laney Reid, being that
she was supposed to be in that speed match and
she was out of it and now she could be
in Fatal Influence, which I don't I don't. I don't
really like it. But the rest of the show, Yeah,
Javon Evans is fantastic, Soul Ruka and Jada Parker. I

wish it was for the North American Championship. Being that,
I feel like we would have got a way better
match out of it. But it was a speed match,
so it was only five minute time limit because it
was for a title. Jordan Grace and Blake Monroe delivered
as expected. Blake Monroe, this was honestly the best I've

seen her. Jordan Grace. I'm sure at some point she'll
be main roster bound. I don't really think she needed
to be an NXT really at all. She could have
been one of those ones that she signed on and
went straight to the main roster. Ethan Page, I find
he is one of the best signings for NXT in

a very long time, and he has proven it with
character work, with rest work. I just see him as
a total package. I don't see him losing that title
anytime soon. And yeah, the j C. Jane match, it
ended very confusing because we're all still trying to figure
out who that person was.

I think Olvi should have won for sure, because she
has had her opportunity time and time again and she

retaining the icy title and really, at this point, who
is going to be the man that dethrones him? Because

The angle when he turned on MJF could have been

couldn't do nothing because he was hurt. And that was
the worst part about it. He was hurt because they
had to set him up in the chair because he
he had hurt his ankle because he came out for
the save for MJF. He jumped off the ramp and

screwed up the storyline right there. So guys like like
uh like uh, it was Matt Taven and Bennett's ward
Low Roddy and all that they had to carry the
load basically why Adam Cole couldn't do anything. But other

been great. And honestly, they were in Pittsburgh last week
and the first five seconds of the show they had
a Britt Baker sign.

they're gonna put like some highlights of a match with her,

none at all. And if she wasn't gonna be there,

They are very very strict on signs nowadays. In the
first five seconds of the show to show a brit

year show is going to be decent. I think they

Omega is coming back. He has been out for a
little bit. I would have loved to see maybe a
singles match for him, But is he is he that
ready to come back to where he could do a
