WWE Draft Recap Night 1 & 2 plus Supplemental Picks

The 2023 WWE draft is now in the books. I recap all the rounds from night 1 and night 2 plus all the supplemental picks for both nights. LOTS of names changing brands, and LOTS of names getting called up from NXT. Lots of suprise names got called up but WHERE IN THE FUCK IS BRON BREAKER!

Night two of the WWE Draft isnow complete and we are gonna go over
both night one and Night two inthis hopefully quick episode, so letts jump
right in here. Night one washeld on SmackDown Friday night, and round

(00:25):
one SmackDown got the first pick andthere's no questions asked. Roman Reigns drafted
number one SmackDown with Solo Succo andPaul Haymond. No usos to be noted
there, Raw selected Cody Rose theirfirst pick. SmackDown then got the Raw

Women's Champion, Donka fell Air andRaw got Becky Lynch. Yeah, no
real questions going forward, so let'smove on. Round two. Smack Down
got the Street Prophets, montest forIt and Angelo Dawkins. Raw got a
Steel here with Imperium Gunther, LudwigKaiser and Giovanni Vinci joint. Raw,

SmackDown got Edge and Raw got MattRiddle. Round three Sorry, round three
we got SmackDown, selecting Bobby Lashly. More on that in a minute,
Raw got Drew McIntyre. SmackDown gotthe OC with a returning aj Styles Mee,

Chen Luke Gallows and Carl Anderson,and Raw got the miss and the
last round Round four on SmackDown SmackDownselected Damage Control Bailey, Dakota Kai and
Eosky. Raw got Shinski and Nakamura. SmackDown got NXT Women's tag team champions

Alba Fire and Ala don Don't knowwho the fuck they are. Raw got
NXT Women's Champion Indie Heartwell, andon the SmackDown Lowdown Saturday Morning, the
remaining superstars from the draft poole fromNight one were selected, and Raw got

the Viking Raiders Eric Ivar and Valhalla, Dextor Loomis, Candice Lay, Massey
and Man Mansarve and Maxine Dupree,Zoey Stark are called got called up.
J D. Madonna got called up, Apollo Cruise got called back up,
Natalia, Sonya Deville and Chelsea Greeneand Backdown got shit Row, Top Dollar

a Shanty, the Adonis and bFab and Lacy Evans A free agents that
did not get selected were Omas whichMVP negotiated him as a free agent,
Mustafa Ali, Dolph Szigler, andvon Wagner. So for night one,

there are a few things that stoodout. The street profits not getting split
up, I think for me wasa shocker. I thought this was the
time you could do it without doingthe heel turn. I guess the built

in storyline though, So there's that. But I really wanted to see Montez
Award on his own. I wantto see what he can do. I
mean, he's only getting older andthe street profits are they've been spinning their
tires with the same thing for forit feels like two years now, at

least that's at least the time itstarted dying off for me. But so
that was a shock of them notgetting split up. Um, I think
Bianca Belle they're gonna be able toSmackDown was a great move. It's a
fresh start. I just don't knowhow they're going to handle the women's title.

I don't want to see as astupid title swap, but that is
what it is. I guess that'swhat they're gonna give us what we're gonna
get, So m Imperium going overto Raw, I think because although it
sucks for SmackDown, because I thinkGunther was such a staple, going getting

him over on Raw, there areso many matchups that we can see Riddle
versus Gunther would be a good one. We can revisit MacIntyre versus Gunther in
a solo match one on one knockA Mora versus Gunther. You know what

else we got, Cody Rhodes versusGunther. I mean there are good matchups
that we're gonna get. So Ilike that move of Gunther and Imperium moving
over around three Lashly moving to SmackDown, as well as AJ styles moving to

SmackDown are most likely going to beopponents for Roman reigns here the next year.
We're going to see those then clashwith Roman UM and that'll be really
great to see UM damage Control notgetting split up with a shocker also,

but I think with the women's divisionbeing so weak, you want that storyline.
So I do think we're gonna getthat split. I just don't quite
know when. Um and let's seehere. I am gonna be honest.

I don't watch NXT. I knowsome of these names. I know the
bigger names. I've seen some ofthem. Um. There are a few
people on NXT that I want tosee called up on the main washers so
I can see them more. Iwant to watch some of them, Um,
Alta Fire and Island on. I'msorry, I don't know who they

are. Um, that's not tosay they're not going to be good,
but I just I personally, becauseI don't watch NXT, they're not a
name that that I hear all thetime, you know, so I'll be
curious to see what they have.Um. An Indie Heartwell was somebody that

I do know, and I thoughtwe might see get called up. I
thought maybe not quite yet. Ithought there were other people they could have
called up at least before her,but they thought it was her time.

got to start looking up the draftresults here. Um, let's move on.
Sorry, a total change of pacehere, move on to night two.
Um, Night two was to menot as good as Night one.

But let's see here. Night one. Round one lent right two. Round
one. Raw got the first pickand they selected Riah Ripley, SmackDown Women's
Champion, and SmackDown selected the UnitedStates champion, Austin Theory. Raw got

seth Rawlins and SmackDown got Charlotte Flair. That rounded out round one. Round
two we got Raw getting the undisputedWWE tag team champions, Sammy Zane and
Kevin Owens. And right after that, SmackDown selects the USO's. For those

(08:54):
on Twitter, I did felt theidea out there of possibly doing an USO
split here Jay gets drafted to SmackDownand Jimmy gets drafted to Raw. That
way, when Roman comes back afterBacklash and he has his words for the

USO's, he can bring Jay outby himself and then it's two verses one
with Solo behind Roman, and itwould just kind of fit the character,
a heel thing to do, justtrying to get the upper hand. But
thus it didn't happen. Usso's wentto SmackDown and we'll see where that storyline

goes from here. Falling up andaround two Raw got the rest of the
Judgment Day, so we saw around one Raw got Ripley, and then
in round two they drafted the restof the Judgment Day Bowler, Priest and
Mysterio, and right after that hegot SmackDown, drafting the l WO and

Ray, Mysterio, Santos Escobar,Cruise del Toro, Joaquin Wild, and
Zelina Vega. Round three, Rawgot the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions,
Live Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. SmackDowngot Oscar Raw got the New Day but

only Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.Baggie was not mentioned. A SmackDown got
the brawling brutes, Shamus Butch andRidge Holland. And in round four,
Raw got Trish Stratus, SmackDown,got Cairn Cross and Scarlett. Raw got

Rossi and Shannon Basler SmackDown, gotl A. Knight, which was a
shocker. I thought l A.Knight was going to Row for sure.
Round five, in the final roundwe got bron Stroman and Ricochet going to
Raw. SmackDown got SHOTSI, Rawgot Bronson read and SmackDown got pretty deadly

from n XT. So really quickhere I'm gonna pull up the night two
supplemental draft picks because that was announcedthat did happened after Raw on Raw Talk

and here we go. So Rawgot a supplemental draft after Raw. They
got Dana Brook, Nicky Cross,Johnny Gargano, Akira Tozawa, Angel Garza
and hemperto Coreo, Emma Piper,Niven, Riddick, Moss, Teagan Knox,

Ziale, Indaser got called up fromNXT at Ginger Mahal Songa and Vir
Mahan and Odyssey Jones got called upfrom NXT as well, and SmackDown drafted
to MINA and Grayson Waller got draftedup from NXT. The free agents that

were left from the supplemental draft afterRaw tonight were Baron Corbin, Zion Quinn,
Elias Shelton, Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. So, looking back at round

one of Night two, Ria Ripleygoing number one and I don't want a
fucking title swap A don't. They'renot good, they haven't been good,

(13:05):
they haven't been able to produced agood one. I can really remember off
top of my head. Um,I some of me wants zi Lee to
beat Bianca and then zi Lege getspulled from Damage Control and goes over to
Raw, and then Bianca can chaseRhya and we can get that at WrestleMania

at forty. Um, it's kindof where I see it. Maybe she
wins money in the bank. MaybeBianca wins money in the banks this year
and she chases Rhya. Who knows. Um Austin theory going to SmackDown made

sense with Goon theory going to Raw. I think the Icy title should be
on Raw has more prestige, Itshould be on the three hour show.
It should be on the Raw,which is supposed to be your flagship show.
The US title to me, itlooks like a SmackDown title. That's

blue, it's got the flag onit. It just looks more like a
SmackDown title to me. So itmakes sense going on there, and Theory
has some great competitors going forward.I do think he's gonna be win at
Backlash, especially with Bronson Reid goingto SmackDown or going to Raw sorry or

staying on Raw. I I justI wouldn't. I can't see that working
out, So Bronson Reid's probably notgonna win. Lastly, I think it's
gonna be chasing Roman, so youdon't want him to behold in the US
title. So I think Theory isgonna win, and he's got great competitors

to go with. Now I wantto I love to see Edge versus Theory.
That would be I think a greatmatch we could get as Santos Escobar
versus Austin Theory, to get Shamelessversus Austin Theory, La Night versus Austin

Theory, but they're both heels.Who I mean great, that's just from
Night two. So those great matchupsfor theory, So I'm looking forward to
seeing where he goes from here becausehe's been in nothing storylines and that makes
sense. He's changing brands, soI like it. I'm excited to see

New Day going to Raw made sense. They Xaviel Woods semi started a program

with Gunther I think two weeks agoor so, and I think we're gonna
see that pick up again here shortly, especially with Kobe Kinkson coming back and
then Biggie hopefully getting cleared in thenext few months, hopefully and being able
to come back, because I dothink we're gonna get Biggie taking the title

off of Gunther, maybe at SummerSlam, who knows, maybe if he's not
cleared. They've pushed this this Idon't throw. I'm looking for rivalry until
later in the year and maybe getit next year WrestleMania. But I do

think it's gonna be Biggie taking thetitle off of Gunther whenever he's clear to
return, So I don't see.I mean, Goonther is gonna hold that
title until Biggie's coming back. Ido believe that their plan is Goonther gonna
beat everybody's running the baggie and Biggie'sgonna stop him. And it's kind of

You beat Gunther, congrats, andthen you can get Goonther going after
whoever holds the world heavyweight title,because it's gonna be a baby face,

but I think those are your frontrunners when the headweight title. Those three,
so Doonther can chase after whoever holdsthe title in Um gotta come off
going through at some point, andI think Biggy as a viable candidate to

mentioned La Knight was a shocker.I thought for sure La Knight was gonna
go with a raw um, buthe did not. Um. Shot,
I'm gonna talk about shots, whichis weird. Shots he getting drafted and
not going into the supplemental draft tome is weird. I just feel like

they it's nuts. I think shotshe getting called up or called up,
shotsy getting drafted, not going tostuff drafted his nuts. Um but I
just realized there is actually a roundfor Raw. The list I was looking
at wasn't quite updated, so therewas one more round, and Raw got

Alpha Academy Chad Gable and Otis,and Raw also got Rick Boogs and then
SmackDown got Wait a second, Iam so fucking this up, you guys.

Motherfucker all right, I am sofucking sorry. Okay, Alpha Academy,
Like I said, going to Raw, Rick Boogs is going to SmackDown,
and then Katana Chance and Caden Carterare getting called up from NXT and
going to Raw. And then CameronGrimes is getting called up from NXT and

going to SmackDown. So with thosefour, let me go with them real
quick, because I was pretty muchwrapped up with around two. Um.
I Rick Boogs going to SmackDown,I think was as what I expected.

I think that to me. Hescreams a SmackDown star. Um So I
want to see good things for Boogs. I want to eat maybe awesome theory
verse Rick Boogs. That would bekind of fun to both on SmackDown.
Now, I don't know something aboutmaybe get put put the US Highland Boogs.

another thing from the sixth round Alpha, I can't staying on RAW. The
Maximum Male Model is also on RAW. I believe I'm going forward, So

now and the Maximum Male Models atsome point. Cameron Grimes was a name
that I expected to get called up. He's somebody that I know a little
bit about, not too much,too familiar with him, but I have
seen him work a little bit.Um. I think he'll be a good

addition to SmackDown. I do lookforward to seeing more of him and be
able to talk more about him,because we don't have much to say about
him. Same with the Katana Chanceand Caden Carter. One thing I find
interesting is on NXT we got thesetwo ladies going up against Alba Fire and

Isla Don who also got drafted.So you got two drafted teams going to
the main roster, going for theNXT Women's Tag team titles. So does
the winner stay on NXT? Imean, how does that work? I
feel like I don't know. Ifeel like Ila Don and Alba Fire are

gonna win. Because that's the case. Katana Chance to me and Kayden Carter
are better. And I mean,let's see what they got on the main
roster. I'm any think they havethe main roster more so than the other
ones that I don't know who theyare, so, I mean his personal

One one, a person not draftedand not a free agent. Um where
in the motherfuck as braun Breaker?Why did he not get called up?

are on the active roster that we'renot eligible for a draft or sell mental
draft. They're not free agents,they're I guess they could say they are
for agents, but they're inactive wrestlers. So we have Alexa Bliss, Aliah

Biggie Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy,Carmela Gable, Steveson, Logan, Paul
our Truth, Randy Orton, RobertRude Shanky, and Tomasso Champa. None

of those people are on a brand. I guess who'd call them free agents,
but they weren't even included in thepool to be drafted. They were
not included, um so. AlexaBliss is out due to skin cancer treatment.
Aliyah is inactive due to unknown reasons. Biggie is inactive due to his

next surgery. Bray Wyatt and UncleHowdy are both absent or not included.
Wyatt has been inactive due to anillness and Howdy is inactive because of bray
Wyatt's absence. He can't have momwithout the other kind of thing. Carmela
is INACTI due to her maternity leave. She is expecting a baby in November,

so you should expect Carmela off yourTV for quite some time. Gabel
Steveson is training for the twenty twentyfour Olympics, so you won't see him
still again for a while. LoganPaul is a part time contract. He's

a part timer our Truth as theTorn QUADRACEPT. Brandy Jordan is out due
to back injury. Robert Rude isdue is inactive due to next surgery,
Shanky inactive due to unknown reasons,and Tomorrows A Champa is inactive due to

hip surgery. So those are thenames the people that were not included in
this draft, and overall that wasthe draft recap. I think we got
some good swaps and some good changes. I look forward to seeing where they
go from here and build towards nextyears WrestleMania. I think if I had

to give the draft overall a lettergrade, I mean I really don't know,
maybe like A A C plus Bminus. There are definitely some things

that would change. There was notag team split up. There was names
that did not come up, likea bronze breaker, which automatically drops the
damn thing down a whole letter becausewhat else can the guy do an NXT?
What else can he do an NXTunless him turning heel. They want
