Speaker 1 (00:04):
Ex president of the Sons of Ben Matt Kantastic ax
Head Cappo, Adam Booth X player and forever a Union
legend Sebastian Latoo. These may be exes, but they're the
experts when it comes to the Philadelphia Union. This is
exes in the You.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Welcome back everybody, it's exes in the U. We have
got an exciting episode except episode under sixteen. Of course.
I'm joined by Adam Booth and Sebastian la two gentlemen.
We've got two games to review and then talk about
an upcoming match. So guys, how you doing everybody?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Well and happy over there?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Yes, very happy, semi fine over you know, game after game,
no vacation for the U and full defense.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
So love it.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, Adam, how you feeling a little different all of
the year.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
I'm feeling great, man, I feel you know, it's much fun,
more fun when I don't have to, you know, live
and die by these games anymore with my physical health.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
So this is good. But no, that was that was
fun this weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yeah, well let's let's get into it. All I gotta
say is take that Cincinnati, you are the step brother.
Still just Union win four two. Uh, I'm gonna say
ty had. What we're gonna call here is a Sean
brace like what I did there at him? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
What has he got? Eleven goals and eleven matches after
the game, it's just number.

Speaker 5 (01:39):
There's a possession going on right now. It's it's like
if Thierryanrey just inhabited this man's body and now he
is just.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Here to be the goal scorer of goal scorers.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
I look, I there is there is a point where
this it's gonna get ridiculous and he's gonna stop scoring
and we're all gonna be like what happened? But for
right now, it just looks like he is a man
possessed that he just will find the goal at will
and keep shooting, young man, that's all I keep shooting.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah, and smashing. You called this game on the radio,
so you you had probably better view, well similar views
to us. But I mean the first half, but the
second half was like, hey, hold my beer, let's look
what's going on? So Saba, what were you thinking about
this game?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
No?

Speaker 4 (02:29):
I mean I feel it was one of their best
game away.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
This isn't for sure. The first half.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
I think they created a lot of kind of opportunity,
but kind of the last you know shot or the
last past we're kind of missing, you know, the Union
guys that we kind of got the posession. We were
going moving. Everybody was attacking. Cincinnati was more the team
going counter attack on the Union. We kind of really
play well on the right side, you know, with the

(02:55):
bed An area, you know, because of whether they put
as a left back like Bird was not really like
a laid bag in a three five too, So we
really took advantage of that and we create some good
chances but didn't really get the final you know result
at the end. But the second half everything pretty much
not went in but close, you know, we.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Were we keep pushing.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
I think we play very well on the font foot score,
you know the two goals and like variable again, you know,
two goals, that is not easy goal.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
He put not to to bang.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
A nice girl upon any nice vote in the first time,
like you said, you know, eleven goals in eleven games.
If he was let's say, a superstar in a league,
you know, a big name, we will like talk and
talk and talk about it in as dot com, but
we are we're not doing it right now, you know,
which because it's just tie valuable, but really big crazy

(03:51):
for him, you know, for what he brought since he
made his first start, you know, for the team in
Cincinnati when we lost fourth with but it's called you know,
two goals as well, so it's Cincinnati might be a stadium,
you know, to make sure we start him every time
we play there.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
He score goals over there every time. But yeah, no,
it was. It was. It was a very good game.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
I feel like in a game allow the ninety minutes
we didn't play for fifteen as.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
As called the second goal. We know, we we dropped.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
We kind of let Cincinnati dictates a little bit like
the temple of the game. We are just defending and
not really like let's say, connecting paths to each other.
And it reminds me of bit about what we saw
at the beginning of the year when the defense drop
and we are all kind of like on top of
each other, on top of the box, and a team
against Cincinnati, you know, he doesn't do well. They came

(04:37):
back to too, But what I love is the reaction
as soon as they got to too, like we score
going after thirty.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Seconds when we called the second goal.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
So I love the reaction, But I would love them
to stop doing this and keep playing.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
You know, like even if you're up to zero. I
know it's hard.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
I know it's all mental. You know, you kind of
have a caution and you're like, Okay, that's fine, I
don't need to do as much. But but yeah, it
was great direction four to two. I don't think there's
a lot of four to Cincinnati says they lost in
the stadium. So even if he was scared, but I
think it was, it was great. It was a really
really good deferment from everybody.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, and we talked about Typerribo and Adam. I'll let
you get into this, but both of you guys, you're
ready with that goal that could be and we'll get
into it in the second. That goal was surgical and
maybe the confidence boost that he needs to get back
into the form that we've seen him in the past.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Adam thoughts, I mean absolutely, I you know, I think
it's one of those things where if you're a striker,
but you're a going a two striker system. I mean, Seba,
you can obviously talk about this more than I can,
but I feel that if you end up being the
striker who ends up assisting a lot. You're almost kind

(05:51):
of seem like you're not doing your job properly because
you're you're you're so focused on people saying what your
goal total that they don't see the holds up play.
They don't really see the ability to create assists. They
don't see the ability to when your runs draw defenders
and create the spaces for Tie to get into. So, like,

(06:11):
I think Mikuel Uda has had a really good, solid year,
and I think his first goal was one of those
things where I was like, all right, you know, good
for him, Wait for him to get back on the
score sheet, and that opens up the rest for him.
So I say, I just wanted to give him a
shout out specifically because I just think his season's gone
better than I think a lot of people would say

(06:32):
because the goals haven't been running in, but he's been
doing a lot of the dirty work that creates goals
and that's great. And again, Ties on fire, he's a
man of fire, He's a man of blaze. Quinn Sullivan's
out here doing great things all the grand the attack
as a whole, this is the attack that we had
minus Kranza.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Just the names.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
If you just put Kranza in Tie his name. This
is basically what has gotten the Union through the last
couple of years is God's Daggerla just as a group,
all of them creating with them with each other.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
And you know, it's just good to see him get
back on the spoatshet. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
I mean again in Cincinnati he got another goal, got
cold off side, which I'm not sure he's offside too.
You know, he was very very close even with the
angle like we saw on TV. It was so hard
to tell, but I guess he got called back, but
I thought it was a goal.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
But but as you say, I think with you.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Know, Tie coming in the team now, since you know
a month and a half, you can see that the
guys that who are Barribos start clicking a little bit,
like they get more involved together on goals, the first
of Whoa and the second of Barribo. It's those three,
you know, kind of connecting each other on counter attacks.
It's you see the movement understanding each other better too.

(07:52):
And it's what it is, you know, when you play fourwards,
when I play, we know with somebody next to me,
I need to understand what he likes to do, where
he likes to run. If you know, Alvis is a
ball in that type of space where he is him
to be. Does you want the ball under? Does you
want to be in the space. It's you know, it
takes a little bit to kind of get familiar, and
it's the same with Samuel Aden Iran, who you know

(08:12):
just came in the team. It takes a little bit
of time to kind of get used to each other,
used to your number ten, used to you know, the defender,
where's the pass the ball?

Speaker 3 (08:19):
And it's so much better now, So hopefully they keep going.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
It's great that both of them, you know, Tai and
who are scoring. Gaz Dag a little bit less right now,
but that's okay. You know, he was going a lot
when those guys are not scoring, so it's a part
of the thing. But Gazdag is giving us this now
and it's what we kind of need from him as
well for the two strikers. So it's been good with
being scoring, you know, and hopefully yeah, both of them

(08:44):
who are and Baribo keep high confidence and stay healthy
is the most important.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Yeah. And one guy, Adam you mentioned, Quinn Quinn Sullivan.
He comes in and he seems no playing on that
right side now playing in more position that I think
he belongs and has been playing great assist and a
banger of a goal. So I mean, I feel like
now that he's not forced up front, he's playing a
lot better now.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
Look, it's two things I want to point out here. One,
I believe it was the great Jamie Tart and Ted
Lassa who once says you got to stop playing to me,
you got to start playing through me, And I think
that's what they're doing with Gazdag. I think Gazdag is
a vessel to what's happening. Yeah, he was obviously he

(09:30):
has an eye for goal. He is prolific when he
wants to be, but when he wants to also be
a great distributor. I mean, since dash Gal, I haven't
seen a guy who's been at ten who's been able
to give the ball out in the unions in a
Union uniform like this. So anyway, these goals are coming.
I think all of these gentlemen are going to get
their just desserts from it anyway, so it's good. But

(09:53):
also to point out I just think when you have
a system flowing and everyone understands the roles, that they have,
and even so when you have a system where Quinn
can thrive now because you don't have the need to
keep Padoya in as long as possible, Like I think
there is an old school feel about with having a

(10:13):
captain that you want him on the pitch as much
as humanly possible, even if that may not necessarily mean
you have the best athletic eleven out there.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
And I think giving Quinn.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
More of those men it's that Padoia would have automatally
got a couple of years ago, is giving him the
chance to open up. He's a natural winger, you know,
he's closer to a fop Oppa call than he is
a true midfielder. But when you give him that kind
of space and an ability to work with himself and
an ability to work from a specific side that he's
comfortable with, the sky's the limit for him and his potential. So,

(10:48):
you know, it's interesting to see he doesn't naturally fit
in a curtain system. You know, if you're going to
play a diamond with two strikers, Quinn's not necessarily the
right midfielder that you.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Want in that diamond.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
But if you give him the chance to freestyle a
little bit on that right side to kind of flirt
with being upfront and with the in a ten row.
He's as good as they as he wants to be,
and it's it's really impressive to see when he's good.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Yeah, and this is something we'll talk about throughout this
entire thing, but the remastered version of that reggae album
Saves by Dre just went gold again. I mean, what
a difference having him in between the posts for the
defense for the opposing teams. I mean, I think Seba
said it best last week, like other teams are just like,

(11:36):
oh s, that guy's back there, and it's not going
to be as easy as it might be against other teams.
So Dre having another great game against Cincinnati. I guess
let's get into Mazitlan on Saturday the seventeenth. I got
to fly in from Houston late, got in there probably
right before the kickoff to see Mazitlan, which we were

(12:00):
all didn't think it was going to happen. We thought
it was going to be cruisers all. Mazatlan got there
because they beat cruises all in penalty kicks after to
two tie and that was basic and they and cruisers
all came back. I think they were down to nothing
and they came back to tie it up. Mazet line

(12:20):
holds on in penalties and and we played them on Saturdays.
So guys, what were your thoughts? Who wants to go
first on this game?

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Okay, I go? So the game was.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
I was a disappointed about how we started, you know,
until we got the red caw with Baligo, it was
very like sloppy, you know, not much reason them into
the game. I thought we were going to go pretty hard,
you know, like pressing them, you know, showing them like
it going early, not taking them too easy.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
But we did the opposite.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
We are kind of like slow, kind of late mazatline,
you know, really play hard and they give us some
diffugat you know, they were use the most dan yourself,
and I don't know, I guess even if we got
a red card, but I think it was a little
benediction to to get this red car because it kind
of woke up everybody ma thatline. Of course, with all

(13:11):
the flop of their number six on Baribo on a
corner kicker was a bit shameful. But you know the
referee dive into its are too yellow, which was ridiculous.
But now you know we are missing Maribou for the
for the next game. But after that, you know, all
the team was like, you want to play like that,
We're gonna play harder.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
And we played better at ten and we played eleven.
You know, we saw more energy from the team.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
We saw everybody playing for each other, even if it
was not the Prayers because we play against tands against
them and you have to run more. But right away reaction,
counter attack, you know, making a great run, great ball
from magline and an amazing goal from a war again
with a fantastic finish.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
But you saw that.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
You know, you can do good stuff when you put
to New York physical ability and mental into the game.
And yeah, and after in the second half was all
about resilience and being strong.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
You know, we dropped, we give up a goal, but.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
At the end, Dre again you know, did the did
the work in the goal and was amazing. You know,
shoot that maybe against Crusaso he didn't do as well,
but on this one definitely saves a game and gives
it team know the semi final.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
Yeah, Adam, I mean one hundred and I think you know,
first off, again, the the lore of Andre Blake can't
be written well enough.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
You know, I just you're you're.

Speaker 5 (14:33):
Talking about an individual who has literally saved this franchise
on way and so many times before, and his value
is demonstrated once again in that match. You know, and
again it's the it's the you know, if we had
him longer, what is the Union's record, if he's in
a couple of those games where the Union drop it,

(14:55):
like Chicago or Cincinnati earlier in the season, do those
turns into three points where the and again this goes
deeper than all right, maybe the Union needed better backup goalkeeping,
if that's going to be the argument. But also, you
need to be healthy. You need your stars healthy, You
need your best players on the pitch to play your best.
I mean, these are just you know, the facts of life.

(15:17):
But this game was a classical trap game. You know,
you come off the extreme high of beating Cincinnati on
the road where Cincinnati is becoming what the Union were
once upon a time, a fortress in their home city,
and you go in there you get a great result
that is very vindicative of this version of the Union

(15:40):
this season. I believe we've had multiple versions of the
Union throughout this season, and I think this version plays
exactly like that, even against opponents like Cincinnati. So even
though they go down or even though they get tied,
which could be as deflating as anything, because you put
yourself in a position to win, got it late, and
then Cincinnati said, hey, we have very talented people on

(16:02):
this team, and two very talented people scored goals, and
what you did was it. It was the same thing that
happened I think earlier in the competition where you go
down or you get a goal scored on you, and
you say resiliency, you get the goal back to kind
of stab them, and then you get the fourth goal
to put them away. It was a performance that looked

(16:22):
like vintage Union. I'm talking twenty twenty one, twenty twenty
two Union less caliber, you know, the whole time. So again,
it was it was a game where it could have
been a trap. You know, that's not the team you
were expecting to play. You feel this incredible high from

(16:43):
Cincinnati and you go down to ten men. But what
I think Seba said was one hundred percent accurate. It
woke them up and said, yo, get your crap together,
because if you don't, you're out. Like this in a
group stage game. You know, you can't just hold on
for the tie here. You gotta bloody win this thing.
You know, you got to try to win this thing.

(17:04):
And even when it went to a penalty kicks, the
fact that you held on that way and made sure
Dre had so many incredible staves down the stretch to
even get us the penalty kicks. You know, that was
a Union victory that probably is a little harder than
it should have been, but they gutted it out and
they got it.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Yeah, and a couple of notes I had. I mean,
of course Andre Blake makes not one, but two great
saves during that the regular time. Of course, Bribo gets
two yellow, so we can't appeal it. If it stuck
to that straight red, maybe we could have appealed it.
So we're going to be missing him, which but I
like Sebastian said, and you said, going down ten men

(17:43):
actually lit a spark under them, which was good. But again,
ur A has another confident goal where you feel like,
oh god, this is two in a row, and maybe
maybe there's momentum for him. And then of course we
get the penalty kicks, and I guess Andre was listening
to the last podcast where I was questioning his preparation

(18:05):
and he just made me look like a loser because
he say he's not one, but two in the PKS.
And there's little things like Jim made a triple sub
which you rarely see. He's making more subs, and I
think the one thing where I wasn't expecting al Brujo
to come in at all because we were told he
wasn't going to and then you find out he asked

(18:25):
Corinthians for permission that if it went extra time, could
he be subbed in. So he actually asked his future team,
can I come in? And Jim put him in a
ninetieth minute and he scores a penalty. So it was
a fitting way for a guy to end his playing
career with the Philadelphia Union. And you know, hopefully someday
he'll come back and bang the drum or do something

(18:48):
like that. But it was just a game that gave
you all the feels of maybe everything's okay in the
Union verse. You know, Jim's making subs. We've been crying
about that, he's trusting the bench, you already scoring company
goals and you got trade back there. So it was
a heck of a game, you know.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
He was.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
But yeah, I mean the qualification was good. He was
a bit you know, good story for Rose, you know,
to finish like that as well, which was which was great.
Uh you know he's called the pique and is the
compatriot Buenos called the last one, you know, two business.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
A part of the win. But yeah, I mean it
was I think it was.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
Great for us in Martinez to close his chapter even
with in that way. I think he was a huge
hell during all those years, especially in the midfield. We
all know, you know, how crazyness he has on the
field sometimes with all the yellow counts he got, and
how hard sometimes he is to manage.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
But but you know, he's the player that.

Speaker 4 (19:48):
You need sometimes in your team, and he was. It was great,
you know, to have him. Now the question is going
to be, okay, who is going to be the next one?
Is he going to be flag? Is he going to
be the new acquisition you know from the French League
two teams, the acient play you know, playing at that
position as well. So I'm excited to see what he
can bring as well. And you know, now good luck
to Jose, you know, but I think we are going

(20:10):
to for sure remember here for a long time.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Yeah. And the one thing I mean, I don't think
ty Beribo had to honor Jose Martinez that much by
getting two yellow cards in one game. Let's just break
that out there. He didn't have to go that far.
One yellow card was enough of a tribute to him.
But now, and we'll talk about the replacement. From what
I'm hearing in Adam, you might be hearing is a
combination of flock and bueno that they're not sure how

(20:37):
quick the new guy can come on, but he is
impressing in training already. I think joke Tansey was told
quote from a and I'll bleete myself, but he's athletic
as f is the quote about the new guy. I
haven't gotten the practice yet to see so, but we're
told there's got to be a little patience this year

(20:59):
with him coming over from France and jumping right into
the MLS. But I'm excited to see him play. And
they got a world record time from him through visas,
so maybe we will see him sooner than later, and
I can only hope. So yeah, so let's go Leak's
Cup review, your guy's favorite. Olivia Drew made his debut.

(21:21):
We know Crew beat NYUFU and then LA beat Seattle,
who Seattle was pretty much red hot, and they're facing Colorado,
and Colorado might be the story right now. They beat America.
Nobody was thinking that Colorado was going to go out
and beat America. They beat them in in pak's and

(21:43):
so Club American mast lamb where the lone lega MX
sides and they gone, this is an MLS Final four.
Any thoughts did you guys see any of the matches.
I got to see some highlights and a little bit,
but any thoughts from Crew New York and LA and
Seattle and Colorado America, anything that's stuck out to you guys.

Speaker 5 (22:05):
Well, similar to the World Cup when it usually ends
up just being the Euros about you know, the quarterfinals
or so, sometimes this domestic championship or this inter league
championship that is still in the United States played almost
exclusively equals the United States having an advantage in clubs.

(22:28):
I don't know, it's a crazy thought. I would wonder
if Colorado had to go to Mexico City, if that
exact result's gonna anyway, We have thoughts.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
But.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
Look, I'm I think that MLS can put a little
bit of a feather in their cap with how they've
played in these competitions. It is skewed for them to
be better than the other clubs. It is kind of
putting a lot of Mexican sides at a disadvantage. But
I do believe that both of the things can be true.

(23:00):
At the MLS is catching up a little bit with
their counterparts from south of the border. I saw lafc
Olivier drub brings to the squad, you know, a presence leadership,
veteran leadership, and is probably top three most handsome men
in MLS right now, So, you know, good for them

(23:23):
on all accounts. I got no notes other than I'm
jealous of the fact that they can have the entire
World Cup winning side from France. But hey, you know whatever,
Colorado is fun, that's great for them.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
I like them.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
I've always liked Colorado, first because they have a great
color scheme, but second because Denver is a really good
sports city that has really good fans, and I think
they don't get because they're in the middle of the
mountains and no one really talks about them. But you know,
good for their club and Columbus. I don't think enough
is being stated about what Columbus is doing right now,

(24:00):
because Columbus is putting together, low key, one of the
best eras I think MLS has seen in a long time.
You know, they're just in everything. They're champions League champions,
they are MLS champions, and they're you know, in a
semi final for another competition. And again we always talk,
We've I've educated everyone. Columbus is not a small place.

(24:23):
Columbus is a real place. It is a real city.
It is larger than forty seven percent of European cities.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
It's big.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
So I don't give them the label small market. They're
not to me, but it is impressive to see what Columbus,
Ohio is doing year after year on this big stage. So,
you know, I think across the board, if you're just
being an objective fan of soccer or football, this is
just fun. This is good for every all the parts involved.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
You know.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Yeah, Sebastian, what do you think of the final four teams?

Speaker 4 (24:56):
I mean, yeah, if you have somebody who don't know
to much about occer and you see just four MLS
team in a final four, You're like, wow, MLS is
so much better than LEGAMEX, which I don't think so
it just you know, like you said, Adam, it so
the beginning of the season for LEGAMX right now, they
play four games and they have to play this tournament,

(25:16):
so it's kind of like weird for them. It's kind
of the time for the Union when they have to
play the Champions Cup in February without even a game
of MLS and they have to play this competition. You know,
you know that everybody is not one hundred percent feet
you know, everybody is not like let's say, playing with
each other, for all the new guys who came to
the team, so you'll know, always like the first you know,

(25:38):
four seven games are here to kind of get a
reason into the team and it's out, you know, for
the Mexican team to travel play away, playing away, it's
definitely a disadvantage for them, which that's why the World
Cup could be an adventures actually raised in twenty twenty six.
But yeah, it's it's nice to see the you know four,

(26:00):
I mean a team of course, being a top four,
but I will you know, let's say, palms the break
a little bit saying that we are much better than
Lega MX because if we go play in you know,
Mexico City or even in Mazatlane or it's not the same.
And we saw it when we play Cruise As we
had to borrow park. The stadium was seventy percent of

(26:20):
as the fun it was not easy for the union
to fill, you know, the support of the fans so
by now, but it's great, you know, it's great to
see that even with us the amins and still play hards.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
It definitely got better.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
But you know, let's say, we still need not to
keep progressing to be at the level of the best
team of the Leagamix.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
And what I'll say is the final four mlssoccer dot Com.
So Major League Soccer Soccer dot Com ranked the league's
Cup for who they think can win. Number one Columbus,
number two la which I'm like, wow, says a lot
about Columbus, number three Colorado and pulling up the rears

(27:07):
Number four Philadelphia. So that's what Major League Soccer dot
Com thinks. And we'll get into everybody and what we think.
But like you said, Adam, Columbus is a world beater.
I mean, two of the best Major League Soccer teams
in the MLS come from the state of Ohio and
that's baffling to me. And then for Colorado, I'll say

(27:29):
it right now as a fan, just a pure fan,
I'm happy for their fans because they've been They've had
some long and suffering time supporting that squad. They've had
some ownership miss steps. I mean it was almost them
in the Chicago fire battling for who sucks worse for
the longest time. I mean, Chicago has really taken that

(27:50):
mantle to another level. But Colorado is in the mix,
so you're happy for them. And deep down I am
hoping for La coming a super roup park for the finals.
But before we get into that, we got to go
through Columbus. So we've got an upcoming match on Sunday
Columbus comes to No, I'm sorry, it's not Sunday. This Wednesday,

(28:13):
we go out to Columbus, Ohio. And I should know
that because I'm making the drive tomorrow morning going out
to Columbus tolower Field dot Com to check this out. So, guys,
what are we thinking. Subashi is gonna be on the radio.
I'll be there live. Guys, what are we thinking about
this matchup with Columbus in Columbus.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
I mean it's kind of almost the same for Mes
on the trip to Cincinnati. I think we got some chance,
you know, to win that game, but we need to
play at the semi level, and we play in Cincy.
If we play like we play them at that land,
we are going to get crushed. But I feel, you know,
with some chances, we're gonna miss Tay Bariboso. Could it

(28:56):
be a good you know, maybe for Sammie Daniel and
to start and play, you know, good maybe sixty seventy
minutes and you know, Bes the guy we needed to
help r and goes back to score the goals. And
after that, I feel like since we still have a
full squad, we don't have many injury maybe Baisos still out,
we don't know yet. But other than that, you know,

(29:18):
like you said, we have possible subs from Gym. You know,
It's it's not like we playt EV and you're like,
who am I going to play?

Speaker 3 (29:26):
If we need you know, some some littleaniary in the
second half.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
So I feel we have we have some chance to
get a result, but we need to be at a
high level. OUs like you say, the best team, So
far you know, past years in a minute, especially at home,
very hard to beat.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
But we can create a surprise.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
I think we can make you know, stuff interesting over there.
We saw them just been in New York CITYFC in
PKS after all one one game, so everything is possible.
But you know, playing now, you know, since two three weeks,
every three days, it start to you know, to be
heavy on the leg of everybody. The good thing is
just a first trip of the union now since two

(30:05):
and a half weeks, so we are not too tired, you.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
Know with that. But it's gonna be a good game.

Speaker 4 (30:13):
I hope it's gonna be as fun as agains Sincinnati,
and it's gonna be like the most back and forth
with their offense and offense.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
Adam, you want to take it away before I yeah, no,
I mean look, I just think that you know what
we have as a team right now. Who has confidence,
who is healthy?

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Who is deep?

Speaker 5 (30:34):
Now you know you've got people coming in, you got reinforces. Yeah,
you just lost Martinez and I'd be curious to see
if Jim might go with three in the back because
of it, just to kind of give some defensive stability,
you know, give Damon Los some minutes, but who knows.
Moral of the story is, I think right now you
have a team that is more than capable of going

(30:54):
into Columbus and getting a result because I believe that.
I think a lot of people believe that if the
Union are healthy and they're playing to their ability, they're
one of the best teams in Major League Soccer. And
I think that if you have that confidence in this
team to be that well, then you can see a
result coming from this game in particular. And again, I

(31:15):
think this goes back to a lot of like when
there's the protests and we're having all these different conversations
about everything, if you believe that the Union were bad,
Like if you thought that the Union were the sum
of what they were when they were injured, that's why
that's how you were truly upset with this team. If
you thought that the Union when they were completely injured

(31:35):
were what the Union were, then we have a conversation
about overhauls and all the things that need to be happened.
But if you know that the Union are this good
when they're healthy, it's kind of hard to just not
be like, all right, sometimes you have a bad patch,
you know, So for all the stories. I think you
can go into Columbus, I think you can get a result.
That being said, they might now lose four nothing because

(31:55):
I said something. But at the same time, I think,
you know, I think Columbus was going to be more
difficult than this game. If or a Cincinnati would be
more difficult than this game because there's all those other
extra elements to it. A lot of people comparing Cincinnati
to Philadelphia and their growth. You know, a lot of
people were talking about all Bright and Noonan and you

(32:16):
know all the other players that still play for there.
You had Sergio Sanso started the game. So I think Columbus,
there's a lot there's less pressure on you at this point,
and I think that's going to help them try and
end up getting a result. So I think I feel good.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
I mean, you can ever predict it, but I feel good.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
I feel prefident. Hence I'm like, yeah, let me take
a day or two off of work and go out
to Columbus to watch this. But I do think Columbus
is good. In the bad, they've coughed up early goals
against Miami and New York City. But the bad is
they've come back from that, So I think if the
Union can jump out on a lead, can they hold

(32:55):
that lead, which we haven't really been able to do
this year. That's the unknown. But like you said, Jim's
relying on the depth now, which could really help us.
And you know, again Andre Blake is back, so I
feel good about this. So let's let's see what happens Wednesday,
and no matter what, we have a game on Sunday

(33:17):
at Super U Park. It is either for a third
place or for the championship. Either way it's important. You know,
we we advance, we get champions League. So this game
means something and Sunday means something, so hopefully people will
come out for that. Yeah, any more thoughts on the
Columbus game before we dive into news and rumors.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
Pretty confident Like I told you, like before Cincinnati, I
was thinning we can get a reserve, but I think
same feeling. But Columbus is better than Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
That yeah, I think they are and end up playing
great soccer. So I think it's going to be an
entertaining game. I'm hoping it's close, but I'm hoping it's
not going back to the nail bighter pks. I still
want the latwo overtime in rule set, but we have
some work to make that happen. So news we know

(34:11):
l brujosel Bye Bye goes to the Corinthians. The only
question I have, guys, is he going to attend the
Eagles Packers game?

Speaker 3 (34:18):
Now?

Speaker 2 (34:19):
He should be in town. That's his new home stadium.
I mean, if the Eagles don't bring him out to
curry favor with the Corinthians fans in that stadium, the
Eagles are making a marketing mistake.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
I just.

Speaker 5 (34:33):
Came away for that whole stadium of Eagles fans and
be like.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
Who the hell is this guy?

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Why?

Speaker 3 (34:39):
What is his significance at Oh?

Speaker 5 (34:42):
Like, I want him to catch the eagle. You know
how they release an eagle before the game, and like
someone has like the falconer glove on. I want him
to have the glove to catch because who would be
more excited in the universe to catch a bird of
prey And Jose Martinez like, I could just already see
the giddiness on his face of being a part of that.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
But Eagles have to get them involved. Come on, it's
his new home stadium, you.

Speaker 5 (35:05):
Know, it's we got to make some phone calls have.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
A phone calls. Now, Adam, you you you alluded to
earlier about certain protests. I'm not sure what that was
all about and everything, but maybe you can tell us. Recently,
the union held a town hall at Union Yards, which
we've established is not the jinks, so we're we're good
with that.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
But it was just a bug.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
This was this was last Wednesday. Uh, why don't you
paint the picture and then we're gonna throw in some
audio if you weren't there, because I wasn't able to
be there, and so Adam, let us know what what
your initial impressions were of the town hall and then
we'll get into the exclusive interview that we have with ownership.

Speaker 5 (35:46):
Well, yeah, no, it's it's great to be a correspondent
here for Fox the Gambler here. It was really nice
to be able to represent. But hey, yeah, I went
to the town hall meeting. It was originally scheduled for
the day before, but because the match, it was pushed
to another day. There was a healthy mix of Union
fans and media members of you know, the various union podcasts,

(36:10):
and a couple of members of the bigger medias. But yeah,
everyone who covers this team thoroughly was there. And one
of the things I noticed from it was the Union
had definitely they weren't afraid of the questions.

Speaker 3 (36:30):
You know.

Speaker 5 (36:30):
I think that was one of the things that I
was worried that, you know, maybe if the Union seems
stand offish about some of the more hired or critiques
or whatever, what the responses would be. But you know,
it was a good night all five it was. Curtain
was there along with Jay Sugarman, Richard liebowitz ERT's Tanner

(36:51):
was there, and Tim McDermott were all there to represent
their various branches of the union.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
Governm if you will. So a lot of.

Speaker 5 (37:03):
Concerns are out there, a lot of fans are out there.
I was giving you credit to Mike Thomas out there
wore a literal sell the team shirt. So like I
believe that there wasn't really any curating of the audience.
They definitely said, you know, if you have a thought,
please bring your thoughts here. So shout out to him.
He got his thought out there, he got his question
out there, and like look, it was democracy, democracy manifest.

(37:28):
When you have events like this, you bring the fans in,
you get to hear the complaints, You get to hear
the direct thoughts of the fans.

Speaker 3 (37:37):
Do you think these help you as much as it
helps you?

Speaker 5 (37:41):
Feel like it can help fans understand what's going on.

Speaker 6 (37:45):
I mean that's why in addition to just this occasional
town hall, yeah, I mean this town hall was brought
on by our losing streak. I mean, if we hadn't
lost those consecutive games, I don't think we'd even be here.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
And that's a shame because we need.

Speaker 6 (37:58):
To have more than use more opportunities to get the
feedback from the fans. So that's why before every game,
I'm walking around in the Sons of Ben lot talking
of fans, and I want we all want to hear
the feedback. A lot of the things that mean something
to people are little things that are so easy to resolve.
You know, more blankets for season ticket holders as gifts,

(38:20):
that's an easy one. You know, better security and the
Sons of Ben stands so that people don't feel like
they're going.

Speaker 3 (38:26):
To fall over easy.

Speaker 6 (38:28):
You know, getting a twenty million dollar deep beat a
little harder. But you know, we want to make the
fan experience great, and every suggestion that comes from a
fan we're going to be acting on it, you know,
if it's if it's reasonable.

Speaker 5 (38:43):
And when you have nights like this, I know, you
guys just came off of a really successful win last night.
You know, it feels like when not you guys, well, yeah,
we use the collective, but when you have a moment
where yes, the losing streak kind of on this moment,
but then you kind of come into this on a

(39:03):
bit of a high. You know, what does this say
about the resiliency of this organization? Kind of just to
be like, not only do we hear you during the
tough times, but even when we rebound, we still hear
from you. We're still available to you, we still want
to hear whatever you got for us one hundred percent.

Speaker 6 (39:19):
It would be it would be a shame if the
only time we speak to fans is when we're having troubles.
You know, it's got to be we got to share
the joy in the good times, like when we were
all in La tailgating before the cop match.

Speaker 5 (39:36):
It's got to be on a regular basis.

Speaker 6 (39:38):
You know, And it's for good times in bats, and
you know, we've got to stick with the team through
good times in bats, and we can't get freaked out
by a losing streak.

Speaker 3 (39:48):
It's gonna happen.

Speaker 6 (39:49):
I mean, since I've been involved in ownership, this is
actually the first meaningful losing streak we've had. I mean
we've had when you think about amazing six amazing years
of progress and growth, not just in terms of how
the team plays. You think about the experience of coming
to a game, you know, from twenty eighteen when you
had a half field stadium to now when we're jam
packed and the fireworks are going and the crowd is

(40:11):
all chanting, and it's amazing. When we have a fuat
packed house, but an amazing atmosphere, and if we combine
it with a win, those nights are unforgettable. And I
live for those nights. I think the fans live for
those nights, and we want more of them.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
All right, That's what you got from the town hall,
and we'll just kind of leave it there. We don't
have to beat this in any more than we have.
We know what happened, and hopefully everybody got their say.
I will read one thing, and it's funny because this
comes from John Middleton. It was a recent quote about
ownership in Philadelphia, and I just thought it was applicable.

(40:48):
This is Middleton saying, It's why I keep telling everybody
it may be a privately held business they own, but
it's not a private organization. It's a very public organization.
It's a stewardship. We have an obligation. We are accountable
to the fans and to the city. If you don't
approach it that way, you shouldn't be an owner in
my opinion. And I think well, said John Middleton of

(41:10):
the Phillies, because you know what year ago the Phillies
own and we took the reins they do, and I
feel like our owners take that. Nobody else haveing a
town hall. So you know, I'm hoping in the future
we can have more open dialogue and we're going to
bring some owners on and even if this podcast is
a vessel for that, we'll have them on and answer

(41:33):
questions about that. Because it's not perfect. I mean, I
could complain that do we have an immediate replacement for
Cronza and Martinez? Maybe not, But you know, the team
has a plan and they're working on things, and all
we can do is see what happens. The rumors at
them I was digging around and so far, everybody that
I talked to in MLS has been mum on this

(41:56):
new women's league. He ain't talking about it, so it
kind of lets me think maybe there's something to it.
I feel there's a little smoke. I'm not sure, but
I just wanted to update that. So no word on
the women's side, but I'll believe it when yeah, yeah, exactly.
So the transfer window is over, guys, was this a

(42:19):
successful earnt season? I mean, two two players incoming, two
players out going? Was was this? I don't think you
can give him an A, but I don't know if
he gets an F. I mean, what are your thoughts
on I like that, I like the one pickup that
we've gotten to see and we're going to see about

(42:41):
the new guy. Thoughts on the transfer window right now?

Speaker 4 (42:47):
I mean, listen, since we are dealing with his BS
to me about you know, this guy counters there being
nobody easier to help it just because you have too
many injury It doesn't matter if you recruit play or not.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
Like if your player injured, what do you want to do?
It doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (43:03):
I think like since everybody complained, the team has been
winning because everybody's coming back, so what do you need player?
Leave the guys who like to put together add one
or two piece and let you know, go as far
as you can and right now, you know, it's just
what they do. So I think Arns Deggs that what
he had to do with you know, little money, he
has to stand and to be able to you know,

(43:25):
create teams that fits what Union wants to do and
the same time able to sell one or two players
because the way you know, the players Union is build
the valle is to create talent, get some young talents
you know, out of the Europe, South America, makes them
play and then if they can sell them again, they will,

(43:45):
you know, and it's to put more money then into
the development and you know, create like players and helping
the academy to get better and better and get to
know some talent. But I think it's good what he did.
I'm excited to see the new guy you know from
the franch licks too playing soon helping. But so far,

(44:07):
you know, if you have him bad, all what he
did and all the player he took, like for me,
like well done, Tyberible. Nobody knew about him, but it's
arms who took him. But he never played so it's
like a big question is like why is this guy
never played? Nobody talk about it, but you know it's
always the fuse all counts, what was the best? But yeah,
but in the same time, it's like, this guy was

(44:27):
right here. How can you not see it's arms took him.
But it's not his job to make him play or
making progress or making confident. So for me, it's like,
whoever player arms took and the player played more than
five minutes, they're all being good. I'm just want to say,
so if you complain about good player and arms play,

(44:48):
you have to give me maybe one player.

Speaker 3 (44:49):
Maybe there's maybe one in playing was not as good.

Speaker 4 (44:53):
But other than that, you know, the Martinez, the Bueno,
Why is this good?

Speaker 3 (44:57):
Even if yeah, he.

Speaker 4 (44:58):
Makes money, but when he's in confidence valuable Kalanza, everybody's like,
oh Kalanza coming from Miami, have a play, blah blah,
and you know he proved what he what he can do.

Speaker 3 (45:07):
So I feel it's.

Speaker 4 (45:11):
Not enough create for me to about what he does
with the little money and the player will bring us
when we have no clue about who they are and
what they can do. But you know exactly, you know
what the team need and so far, you know, he's
a a you know every year for me?

Speaker 3 (45:28):
Yeah, yeah, God, Adam, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (45:31):
Just the honest I industry is everything's ever side is
so accurate, and it's it's painful when you think about it.
It's just how often does this man actually have to
hit on people we've never heard of that become club legends.
Like we're all having an emotional response to Jose Martinez leaving.
Now one of us knew who the hell Jose Martinez

(45:51):
was when you showed up here in twenty twenty. Not
a single person he gets one cut on his face.
He's Rambo, He's Rocky, He's God. And he's literally leaving
in a point where people are like he might be
up there and ring of honor territory, Like that's literally
what he's bringing to the table now time after time.
Leon Flock, who knows who the hell Leon Flock is

(46:13):
one of the best lockdown midfielders we have in the league.
Who knows who? Kyle Bogner is, who knows who? And
Baizo is? Who knows who? Half of these guys are
and they're putting in master class minutes like I want
to I know, we kind of moved on from the
town hall. There are three points I really wanted to
make about the town hall real quick. One, they made
a point of saying that in terms of roster spending

(46:37):
per player, the Union or number two, only behind Cincinnati
on roster spending per player, meaning how much money each
player makes as a unit. So a lot of these
situations where you have the dps like Shakiri, like Berdodeski,
like in Signe, those guys command so much of the

(46:58):
overall salary of the of the teams, you see that
the spending level on the bottom tier can't be that level.
They're spending this much on the top. The Union probably
have one of the easiest distribution of money, and it
shows because the talent level is consistent from top to
middle to back to goalkeeper. When this team is healthy,

(47:20):
there's no drop. So that's one of the points I
wanted to make is the spending isn't the sexy spending,
but the spending is seeming to work in the manner
for which they're doing it. And number two, and this
is a point that I think Ernst may that kind
of ruffled a couple of feathers Philadelphia is a top
market inside the United States. We are a top four

(47:43):
media market inside our borders. We are a population of
eight million metropolitan with a million and a half inside
the city. But one of the things is, and I
think Seba can talk to this, is when Europeans come
to America, when South Americans come to it America, we're
not on the first list of places they're thinking about

(48:04):
they want to live.

Speaker 3 (48:06):
We're not now.

Speaker 5 (48:08):
Now, we have the facilities, we have the culture, and
when people come here, they love us. But when we're
trying to seduce anyone from foreign leagues to come to America,
we have about five or six cities ahead of us
in that conga line of where people want to go.
Hence why we have again the entire French World Cup
team now playing in Los Angeles because they want to

(48:29):
live in Los Angeles. It's a crazy concept that Antoine
Griesman might want to live in Los Angeles, that oliviaate
Roue might want to hit his next step in California.

Speaker 3 (48:39):
You know, so he was taught.

Speaker 5 (48:41):
So Ernz basically said we have to compete within our boundaries.
And I think fans got upset because it's said that
the Union were not a top club, and I say, contreire.
They just know where we are. They understand the assignment,
you know, and that's why they have to get these
guys a lot of the times that we haven't heard
of because Jose Martinez loves Philadelphia.

Speaker 3 (49:03):
Now, the fact that.

Speaker 5 (49:05):
He wanted to do that in his final game shows
how much he cares about this club, cares about this city.
You don't get that every single time from these mercenaries
that come over here. Because we gave him a lot
of money. What do you think Shakiri's thoughts on Chicago are.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
Well, I'll burn that up real quick. They've part of ways. Yeah, yeah,
he left.

Speaker 3 (49:24):
Yeah, and what did that do? What I mean? And
again this is they did the same thing with the
German gentleman. Then I'm blanking on.

Speaker 5 (49:34):
They've brought in world class caliber talent, guys who've moved
the needle. What has that done for their organization? You know, winning,
winning really helps this stuff, and I think that's the
core of this. When this team wins, no one screaming
that we don't have Drew because you don't need Drew. Yes,

(49:54):
we got burnt by Gareth Bale. Does anyone know that
Gareth Bale wasn't even starting in that game because he
wasn't good enough to be in the eleven. He was
Gareth bail, but he wasn't playing at a Gareth Baale level.
Yes he burnt us, but that's not necessarily indicative of
number ten's and all these guys coming in. So I'm
saying multiple points there, but ultimately.

Speaker 3 (50:15):
You have to let them.

Speaker 5 (50:16):
You gotta trust the process. They the Union of giving
you no reason not to. That's the craziest part about this.
They've been so successful doing this stuff that to doubt
them now it just seems ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (50:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:32):
Yeah, and you got a third point or no, oh, adam,
I think you froze up one us. My guy.

Speaker 3 (50:37):
Now I'm back hello, Oh there you go.

Speaker 5 (50:40):
Yeah, yeah, look again, if my quote didn't go, if
you're doubting the Union now after all these successful you know,
who's this guy? Who's that man turning into club legends?
I don't know what to do anymore about that. You
know their tracker is too good.

Speaker 2 (50:56):
Yeah, all right, let's go. We're gonna wrap this up
because we're in a little longer than we normally are.
But around the soccer World News. Guys, uh, US men's
soccer has got a new coach. What do you guys
think of A good old punch is going to be
the new head coach for the US men's team? Sebat
your thoughts.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (51:19):
It's definitely a bigger names what I'm saying, you know,
But yeah, I think his first a couple of games
we'll tell a lot about you know, what he can do.
But yeah, it's a big question mark for me. I
just don't know in which way I should take it.

Speaker 2 (51:37):
And I think you and I are on the same
page because you being an Arsenal fan, me being a
Chelsea fan, I wasn't a fan of him because of
his time in Tottenham, so I'm a little jaded and
then his time in Chelsea. But he does develop talent,
he has you know, had good results. So Adam your
thoughts on our boy Punch coming in to save the USA.

Speaker 5 (52:01):
I think this is the same thoughts I have with MLS.
I mean, I just I know you want the big name.
I know you want the guy who's going to bring
you in. And look right now, Emma Hayes is such
like a hit that I get why the response is
from the men's side, we have to do something about this.
But look, just week four years, let Emma coach the
men and we'll be fine. You know, like, what are

(52:22):
we doing?

Speaker 2 (52:23):
Here's my question. I mean, Conch just come over the US.
Is it now the United States of Chelsea? Do we
rename the team?

Speaker 5 (52:31):
No, because that means we have forty seven players and
we're not sure if any of them are actually good.

Speaker 2 (52:35):
It's forty one, but anyhow, yeah, and they reduced it. Yeah,
they're not a forty one. So Europe's Big five leagues
kicked off the season this past weekend. Guys, what a weekend.
It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (52:49):
The uh.

Speaker 2 (52:51):
The EFL also starting, so you know, man, you kicked
it off from Fulham, Ipswich battle, Liverpool Arsenal against Wolves.
Chelsea got stamped by Cavin's future TEAMGA started, so we're
waiting to see if and Boppe just takes over that league.
It's just it's just crazy out there. So any any
thoughts on the opening league of the Big five and

(53:13):
then we can put bow on this uh this day
and get ready to get ready for Columbus. Any any
thoughts you know, you saw your oartional.

Speaker 4 (53:23):
Team, right, I mean them a little bit, but yeah,
good start. You know, let's not put too much of
pressure right now. But no, me, I was very excited
about my my hometown ran starting a big Seasons three
zero against Leon. You know, I was very happy about that.
You always the team in your house, I know you
grew up with. So happy about to see RNA doing

(53:43):
good and the sign a sign at its officially yet
but Mlslay Gomez from sut Lake City with joining them,
so you know, hopefully he's going to do good thing
over there.

Speaker 3 (53:52):
But yeah, good time for him. Good clip.

Speaker 2 (53:55):
Yeah yeah, Adam, I'm sure you were glued to your
TV all weekend.

Speaker 5 (53:59):
Any anything stick out a disgruntled Chelsea fan because but
I mean it's man City.

Speaker 3 (54:04):
What can I expect?

Speaker 5 (54:06):
Really more angry at Palermo. And yes, we're gonna be
a Serie B podcast as well this year, don't worry
about that. I'm gonna get that out there. And they
dropped another game of the ninetieth minute and I'm not
ready for them to just be Palermo again because that
I was expecting it a little bit more. They went
to Manchester City and they had a world tour. I
thought they were going to bring themselves together, you know,
they they did their whole kit reveal up in England

(54:28):
and all that. They dropped their jersey in New York.
I'm like, all right, we're big time now, and then
drop a ninetieth minute one nothing just to start the season.

Speaker 2 (54:36):
So you know, yeah, I like you again, Chelsea disappoints,
But what are you gonna do. It's man City. Let's
see what happens and it's everything around. But yeah, gentlemen,
thank you again for popping on episode sixteen of X's
and the U, And we're going to see you for
another one. We may do. We may pop in for
an after Columbus pod or or sometime this week. So

(54:59):
we're gonna we're gonna see how it goes. But let's
go Union and Sean. Do you have any var for us?

Speaker 3 (55:05):
Just one?

Speaker 2 (55:06):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (55:07):
Jose Martinez in the Ring of Honor.

Speaker 5 (55:10):
Look, I'm saying it's a conversation. I'm not putting him there.
What I'm saying to you is, I've had this conversation
in parking lots where maybe a couple of servaces were consumed.

Speaker 1 (55:24):
There's a guy by the name of Sebastiana two The
bar House sat.

Speaker 5 (55:29):
Look, Adam Bow, Look what I'm telling you is if
we just put it at Seba's level point to get
in this ring of honor.

Speaker 3 (55:35):
Ever again, that's the problem.

Speaker 2 (55:37):
He's are you retiring Jimmy Rollins's number, then Martinez might
have a chance.

Speaker 5 (55:42):
Here's me, Oh my god, don't get me started.

Speaker 3 (55:45):
Five five phillies.

Speaker 5 (55:47):
All right, waiter, bye, wrapping up.

Speaker 2 (55:50):
Everybody, thanks again for joining us. Episode sixteen X's the
U We're gonna see in Columbus, Ohio. Everyone go Union
