First, we must understand that God’s heart is not to reject anyone. Scripture makes this abundantly clear: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise... but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). God is patient, loving, and inclusive. He wants everyone to walk in purpose, freedom, and eternal life.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Blessings everyone. I hope you guys are having a wonderful
day in the Lord. Let me let me explain something
to you guys. I wanna say this today because I
know a lot of you were struggling with the idea
of being chosen, and so we do know the term
many are called, but if you are chosen, and we
really want to know what that means and the phrase
many are called? If you are chosen, I like to
go to Matthew Matthew twenty two fourteen. It isn't just

(00:23):
a poetic statement, but it's a deep truth that many
struggle to understand. And this is what I want everyone
to know because a lot of people have been battling.
They've been arguing this whole thing of being chosen and
am I good enough? Why did God allow others to
be chosen and not me to be chosen? Well, let
me make you think about this a little bit differently.
If you're asking the question why wasn't I chosen? Then

(00:45):
start asking yourself the real question, and that question is
do you truly desire to be called and chosen? Because
if you don't have a desire to be called or chosen,
then you really are the only person that's standing in
the way of you being the best that you could be.
For the Lord is I made it clear throughout his
word that he wants all of us to come to him.
The Lord is not willing that any man should perish.

(01:06):
He said this in his word quite often, but that
all should be able to come to repentance Tewod Peter
three nine. So if that's God's heart, then why aren't
more people chosen? The truth is that we choose what
we want, and a lot of us are choosing other
than choosing to be what God wants us to be.

(01:27):
Many of us have made up our minds that we
decided to live according to the world's standards instead of Gods.
We've chose after what popularity. I've seen people want the
big applauses. They want to look like the people who
are influencers. They want to be all those people. But
what God called us to be. They don't want to
be set apart. They don't want to be different. And
God is saying, I am calling out from you, letting

(01:49):
you know that there is everlasting life that I can
offer you. I can give you freedom. You can be
free from everything that the enemy is trying to make
you believe that it's good. And sometimes I'm moved by
this because I know that God moved me from a
space where He showed me that I did not have
to do anything but simply be meet and live the
best life I could live in him, and that freed
me from bondage. A lot of you guys are in bondage,

(02:11):
and it's because you choose to be. So if you're
wondering why you're not chosen, it's simply because you choose
not to be. And I want to say this again
because a lot of people don't really understand. It's not
the fact that God doesn't want you to be a
part of what he has going on and he's got
these favorites. No God says it is his will that
no one should perish. He says, the Lord is not

(02:34):
willing that any should perish, but that all should come
to repentance. Second Peter three nine. You got to always
remember that, because once you know that, then you know
that you have a job to do. You have a responsibility.
But we have made up our minds to follow the
things that are not of us, that don't deserve us.
John fifteen eighteen. If the world hates you, keep in

(02:55):
mind that it hate him first, so you have to
understand a lite lot of times of things that hates God.
It tries to pull us to be a part of
this thing so that it can take his people away,
so that it can bring shame. To truly walk with
God means we will be rejected by the world, and
a lot of people aren't willing to accept that rejection.

(03:16):
You have already chosen that you refuse to be rejected
by the world, so therefore you choose not to be chosen.
You don't have a desire to be called, neither be chosen.
But some people do want to be called to do
a lot of things. They want to be called because
they want to be proven to be this big, mega thing,
or to be the one or the one that have
all the answers and to feel like they know everything.
But at the end of the day, you're still doing

(03:36):
it merely off of just wanting to be known. And
God wants a man for the heart. He doesn't care
about your status. He doesn't care about how much money
you have, he doesn't care about where you live. God
cares about the person's heart. Jesus said, whoever wants to
be my disciple, must deny themselves and take up their
cross daily and follow me. That's Luke nine twenty three.

(03:58):
That's a high calling, and many don't want to accept
the cost. The devil comes to only still kill and destroy.
He wants to make you believe that you're nothing unless
you have something. And God is saying, I love you
because of who you are. I don't care about what
comes with you. I care about what's inside of you.
A lot of you, guys will miss the message because
you're looking for the message to come from something that

(04:19):
looks like it has value. But truly the message has
to come from inside, deep inside. And we're too busy
looking at the outward that we don't pay attention to
the inward. And a lot of you, the way that
you look at people is the way you look at yourselves.
You believe you have to look a certain way in
ought to be appreciated. You believe that you have to
know a certain thing in order to be accepted. You

(04:40):
believe that you simply can't be yourself, but you have
to look just like this person you see on TV
every single day that is miserable, dying, go on the
hell because they choose to live other than what God says.
But we don't have to. God is saying, I am
calling many, but few are chosen, and simply because there's

(05:01):
only a few that are willing to go the distance
to say Lord, I choose you over that. And you
can't blame God for being all knowing, because God is
all knowing. This is how he knows. He knows because
he's a God who's all knowing. God knows his people.
He knows the ones who have better strive to be
the best they can be, and even if they have
trouble along the way, they're not going to give up.
They're okay with being the little man so he can

(05:23):
be the big man. You understand a lot of God
ain't willing to give nothing up. That's why you've never
seen nothing in your life. You don't want to sacrifice anything. Instead,
you always want to hand out. And God is saying,
sometimes you have to understand it is better for you
to give something up to receive it. And if you've
never given anything up to receive it, how will you

(05:44):
ever know what true love is all about. I have
not met one person in a marriage who have not
had to sacrifice something. You give up your life for
a person, a human being who you decide you want
to spend the rest of your life with. But you
cannot give your life up for the per who created you,
died for you, suffered for you, loves you, and then
offers you a place in eternity to save your life

(06:06):
from eternal damnation. You refuse to give him that. But
you can give a human being who probably isn't gonna
be faithful to you the whole time he's married to
you or she's married to you, who's probably never gonna
measure up the way that you want them to measure up,
who's never gonna be able to give you all the answers.
But God can, I don't understand it. You choose not
to be chosen, so you can't blame God for knowing

(06:28):
what he knows, because he's perfect. If you really want
to be chosen, then act like it. H act like
it because many are called, but only if you are chosen,
And they're chosen only because there's only a few who
are willing to take this walk. Not everybody can take
this walk because not everybody desire the same thing. When

(06:49):
I found the Lord, I said, Lord, I desire you.
I know there's a lot of things I'm gonna have
to let go. I'm gonna have to change the way
that I live. I'm gonna have to do things a
little bit differently. I'm gonna have to navigate this thing.
But I'm learning, and whatever I mess up on, I
know You're gonna guide me along the way to show
me where I need to fix it. But I'm willing
to do that. I'm willing to make the changes even
if it hurts. I had to lose a lot, and
it hurt me to lose, but in this pain, I

(07:11):
have discovered something better than I've ever known in my life.
I know who God is, and that's the best thing
that I could ever have. I am free. I am
truly free. I am free. I have nothing to worry about.
But a lot of you choose not to be free.
So you can't blame God for knowing what he knows.
You need to blame yourself because you choose not to

(07:32):
be chosen. All right, With that said, be blessed
