It's a really cool format. We were there last year.
Last year we were in Blue Springs. Year before that
we were at Siedelia. Liberty Parks got a makeover. They
got it all turfed. Connor Spinagel over there with that

(02:51):

(04:05):
had this pulled up and I didn't. Folks, Sorry about that,
but well, any of who I'm trying to remember all
the states Mid South Regional Tournament we are going to
be We just talked with the folks over there. Washington

(04:27):
Post two eighteen are hosting. Can't Getsey, Joe Buller his
group over there. They do a fantastic job of putting
this on. Well, we talked to them and finalized that
this week that we will be live streaming all the games. Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana,

(04:50):
Mississippi and I know I'm missing one Kansas. Those are
the seven states that will be at representing American leg
Baseball at the Mid South Regional. The winner of that
will head over to the World Series in Shelby, North Carolina,
which is broadcast on ESPN. You last year, Troy, Alabama

(05:15):
Post seventy beat Midland, Michigan five to three in the
for the World Series title in American Legion Baseball. These
states that are represented here there are they are the
state champions from each of these states and come here
to compete to head over to the World Series. So

(05:37):
we've got these seven states represented. We're going to be
live streaming over there. We're going to have our booth
set up to do some player spotlights. We're going to
have a good time. We're doing a lot of this
like we do with our state championships over there. So
appreciate the folks working with the folks over there, especially
Joe Bueller. Big shout out to Joe Binto talking with him.

(06:01):
Looking forward to bringing you this. Not to mention this

(06:44):
hundredth year there with a Summer Batch. We're doing our

We're gonna be looking to do a few other things,

(07:26):
so we'll keep you posting on what's gonna be happening
Summer Bash series July eighth. We're gonna be back over
there July seventeenth with the Savannah Bananas Meet and greet
and then the twenty second the American Legion Baseball celebration
one hundred years of American Legion Baseball. We're looking forward

(07:49):
to it. It's gonna be a lot of fun. Let's
get into this a little bit. We dropped our, as
I said, our first nineteen U MO Legion power rankings.
At the top of that Ellsbury Post two two six
number two is the Moberley Sixers at number three, jeff

(08:11):
City Post five Baseball at number four, Sedelia Post six
forty two at or that was number four, excuse me,
at number five, Washington Post two eighteen, that's the top
five now since then Post two two six had a
tough weekend. They played in some tough I would like

(08:37):
to know. I think they were in a tournament, because man,
they were playing some teams. Friend played the BOSSI or
Phillies and U two P forty nine ers and Troy

(08:59):
Post seventy, Columbia Post nineteen Seniors eighteen. I believe that's
Tennessee if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So
tough Week had some losses. These are all really good teams.
They lost seven, six to two below. The forty nine

(09:20):
ers were in the Mid South Regional last year. I
believe the Boss here Phillies were as well. That team
is I think from Louisiana, and I think they were
in the state title state or the Mid South Regional
last year as well. Troy Post seventy. They were the

(09:43):
World Series champions last year. Folks. They lost five to
two there and a five. So man, go ahead and
challenge yourself, Elsbury, put yourself. I love what they did
here because this team is really good and you it's
a loaded squad I thought I had. We're good to

(10:05):
hear players. Austin Mayhall, Avon Weaver's back, Brady Creech is back,
Brendan Howard, Brady Eulinger, Camden Palmer, Caden Palmer, Chase Mullen,
Colin Phillips, Corey Martinez, Dalton Hosak back with this team,

(10:26):
Gavin Woodson back, Jackson Ryder, Lance Stuckey, DJ Bar, Timmy Emmons,
Warren Conrad. These are a lot of the players that
are back with this team from the state championship team
last year. So I'm looking forward to seeing and I
love what they did there on this schedule, going out
and playing the top competition around American Legion baseball in

(10:51):
the Bossio Phillies two P forty nine ers, Troy Post seventy,
Columbia Post nineteen. Go ahead and challenge yourself. Now see
what's out there. You know this is a team looking
to make a run to the World Series, is what
this tells me. And so at the top of the rankings, Elsbury,
big shout out to those guys over there, coach Creach

(11:13):
and Howard for taking on a schedule like that. They
did defeat Post to eighteen yesterday July first, nine to one,
and so and as we see, Washington sixteen and four
on the season took the loss. They've been playing some

(11:35):
really good baseball again. A lot of the guys coming back.
Andrew Elbert, Ben Galinis, you got Colton Carrier back on
this squad, Drew Buehler, Drew eck Off, Caleb Hass, Lane Mallencrott.

(11:56):
We saw Lane Mallencrott played for Saint Francis Borgia. We
saw them against saw this young man against Blair Oaks
High School in early in the season last year. Had
a live stream there, so, uh, this is a very
good team as well. In that five spot. The Moberly
Sixers are the one that's gonna be interesting to me. Uh,

(12:20):
there's a lot of kids that came back off of
that squad. Hang on, Nemo, I gotta gotta look through
my Oh boy, I'll get there, Drew maybe. Oh that's

(12:44):
that's summer. Yeah, that's summer. Okay, Well, I'm just gonna
pull it up like this Moberley fat fingered that bad
boy Drew. There. We are twenty one to twelve and

(13:11):
two on the season. Just got to win over Post
fifty five. Ar excuse me, No, just took a loss
to Elsbury on June thirtieth. Oak Grove with a win
lost to Elsbury and back to back games. So that's

(13:32):
that's a big test for them. Post one to eighty
nine outlass ten two. That was the championship game last year.
Our top two teams here, Elsbury and Moberley, and Moberley's
Elsberry's got the best of them so far this season.
That's gonna be interesting. To see how that fall. I
would expect to see both these teams in the state

(13:52):
championship again this year. Moberley's got a lot of those
kids coming back as well from last season, and Ashton Hunt,
Kate Bomb, Carson Fletcher, Connor Hayes, Cooper, Harvey, Hayden, Burns, Jackson, Engele, Mitchell, Bruce, Nolan, Samuel,

(14:14):
A lot of the kids we saw last year, they've
added some. So, you know, heading towards this championship run,
I think this is going to be a very interesting scenario.
Oh I was looking, No, I'm sorry, they're fifteen and two.
I was looking at last year's my fall. Guys, we're
going to start over. How about that, Drew? All right? No, okay,

(14:39):
So recently they've been on a run. They lost to
Eden Prairie Legion a nine to one Eden Prairie. I'm
not quite sure. I think that might be a Kansas.
I haven't heard of Eden Prairie, so I'm gonna have
to look that up. All right, But again, team wise, yes,

(15:06):
Ashton Hunt, k Bomb, Carson, Fletcher, Cole, Irwin, Cooper, Gering, Cooper, Harvey, Jackson, Angle, Mitchell, Bruce, Nolan, Samuel. Yeah,
a lot of the same guys. Probably not as deep
as they were I think last year, but definitely fifteen
and two. They got playing Sheridan County and a doubleheader

(15:30):
on Sunday the sixth. Then they've beat jeff City the
other day five to three. Jeff City is another team,
the number three seed or the yeah in our power
rankings post three seventy nine, a big win. They beat
Eden Prairie Legion two to one on the Friday the

(15:51):
twenty seventh, so they played him again. I gotta find
out where that Eden Prairie team is and we'll catch
that up. Beat Mule Club and a couple of wins
over Hannibal. So our top two teams I think are
sitting pretty good position to continue to be. Fourteen and

(16:13):
five is jeff City the number three seed of course
with the low a couple of losses there back to back,
lost to Sedelia eight to six and lost them overly.
They've lost they've won out of their last five there,
two and three jeff City is, so that'll be interesting.
Sedelia post six point forty two, the Travelers, I know,

(16:45):
I got them in here. I will come back to that.
So that's a little rundown of what's going on there
at number six Jackson, the Jackson Tribe, Jackson Post one
fifty eight. You got number seven is Saint Peter's Post

(17:08):
three to one three in uh in the mix there
the eighteen U there eleven and seven. It'll be interesting
to see how that shakes out. I liked what they did.
We did the tour stop with them in the winter time.
Adam Kenobi, Austin Bauer, Braden Coppen, Copenhager, Brady Donovan, Kyle Jenkins,

(17:33):
Cameron Mayler, Chase, Cookie l Smith, Pretty Deep Grant, Bishop,
Evan Hickman, Ryan Shipley, Tyler Smith, Zach Griegel. Saw a
couple of East kids on there, Max McCarter, Jordan Barrett.
So it'll be interesting to see how this team continues

(17:54):
to make their way towards the state championship. The Mule
Club eleven nine and one. We had them at ten
and then Eureka Post one seventy seven. Nineteen U is
ten nine and one. They've had a couple of losses

(18:17):
since we did that here. They lost to Ballwin ninety
six and Chesterfield five to three. So and then they
lost to Kirkwood six', five so they took three losses
in a, row so we'll have to kind of keep
an eye on, that looking forward to seeing what they do.
Next kirkwood's an interesting. One we'll see What post one

(18:39):
fifty six has got and we'll keep you up to.
Date and So monday we'll have a new power rankings
out for our nineteen. Years we head towards the state.
